Speaker 3: Monday edition of the show. Let me just say we
• 1:39
Speaker 3: actually have decent weather to start to start us off
• 1:42
Speaker 3: this week, and that makes me happy. Coming up this
• 1:46
Speaker 3: morning as the flood cleanup continues in southern West Virginia
• 1:49
Speaker 3: and eastern Kentucky for that matter, we have an event
• 1:53
Speaker 3: that we're going to be doing on Wednesday on our

• 1:57
Speaker 3: out do our little part of this we are going
• 2:00
Speaker 3: to do is we're going to clear off our lot
• 2:01
Speaker 3: here at eleven to eleven Virginia Street, East as we've

Speaker 3: done in the past, and we're going to set up
• 2:06
Speaker 3: shop allowing you the greatest listeners in the world to
• 2:09
Speaker 3: drop off stuff. This time around, it's cleaning supplies. We're
• 2:12
Speaker 3: teaming up with Union Mission and the Charleston Dirty Birds
• 2:15
Speaker 3: and also Members Choice Federal Credit Union collect items for
• 2:18
Speaker 3: flood to victims. And I'll go over the entire list
• 2:20
Speaker 3: of what we are looking for because it is kind
• 2:22
Speaker 3: of specific. Actually, I have it posted on my social
• 2:25
Speaker 3: media on Dave Island Radio and also at Dave A
• 2:27

• 2:30
Speaker 3: Logan Scott, who is the program director from one of

Speaker 3: Plus this weekend, if you're an outdoorsman or an outdoors person,

• 2:43
Speaker 3: Hunting an outdoor sports show at mylad Park. Rachelle Batty
• 2:46
Speaker 3: will join us to talk about that and apparently your
• 2:50
Speaker 3: humble radio host here set off a bit of a
• 2:51
Speaker 3: social media firestorm over the weekend because I ask a
• 2:54
Speaker 3: simple question. With all the flooding and devastation in southern
• 2:59
Speaker 3: West Virginia and as I said, eastern Kentucky. Where's Donald Trump?
• 3:03
Speaker 3: He has been remarkably silent during all this, especially since
• 3:06
Speaker 3: we are a state in my opinion, that has been
• 3:08
Speaker 3: over backwards for him. And we're going to get into
• 3:12
Speaker 3: that coming up a little bit later on. Plus your
• 3:14
Speaker 3: calls the text are welcome to Bigley Pickli Wiggly hotline
• 3:17
Speaker 3: three zero four three four five fifty eight fifty eight.
• 3:19
Speaker 3: Tony the Taylor Text three zero four nine three five
• 3:21
Speaker 3: five zero zero way, want to welcome now to the show,
• 3:24
Speaker 3: as joined by the name of Brian Connell. He is
• 3:26
Speaker 3: the vice president of Federal Affairs at the Leukemia and
• 3:29
Speaker 3: Lymphoma Society and a spokesperson for the group Keep Americans Covered.
• 3:33
Speaker 3: He joins us, Now, Brian, good morning. Did I get
• 3:35
Speaker 3: your last name right?
• 3:37
  Speaker 5: You sure did?
• 3:37
  Speaker 6: Thanks.
• 3:38
Speaker 3: I wasn't sure what it was Colin or Kanal and
• 3:40
Speaker 3: you've probably heard it both ways?
• 3:41
  Speaker 5: Right, that's right?
• 3:43
Speaker 3: All right? Tell me about this group, Keep Americans Covered?
• 3:46
Speaker 3: What is the group? What's it all about?
• 3:48
Speaker 5: Yeah, so it's a good question. This group filled with
• 3:51
Speaker 5: organization is like mine. So Leukemium Boma Society. You know,
• 3:54
Speaker 5: we're out there fighting the four folks with the diagnosis
• 3:57
Speaker 5: of a blood cancer, and there's all types of grew
• 4:00
Speaker 5: representing all types of different patients and just everyday consumers
• 4:04
Speaker 5: who are part of this group keep Americans covered. It's
• 4:07
Speaker 5: a coalition that is fighting to keep healthcare affordable and
• 4:11
Speaker 5: accessible for the fifty thousand West Virginians and twenty four
• 4:16
Speaker 5: million Americans who rely on premium task credits to afford
• 4:19
  Speaker 5: their health insurance.
• 4:20
Speaker 3: And these tax credits explain.
• 4:22
Speaker 5: How they work, yeah, so you know, they are a
• 4:26
Speaker 5: really key part of the way that we keep health
• 4:28
Speaker 5: insurance affordable. It's already tough enough, but it's even harder
• 4:32
Speaker 5: without these premium task credits. So folks qualify for the
• 4:36
Speaker 5: task credits based on their income, and those task credits
• 4:39
Speaker 5: go to helping keep the healthcare affordable for residents who
• 4:42
Speaker 5: need it. So you know, we're thinking of these are
• 4:44
Speaker 5: folks who are buying health insurance on the marketplace. A
• 4:48
Speaker 5: lot of folks qualify who buy that coverage that way,
• 4:51
Speaker 5: and includes you know, many of our small business owners,
• 4:54
Speaker 5: small business employees, folks in really rural areas, families, hourly workers,
• 5:00
Speaker 5: earlier retirees, all different types of folks who rely on
• 5:04
Speaker 5: the marketplace to get their health insurance because they don't
• 5:06
Speaker 5: necessarily get it from their employer, are using these tax
• 5:09
Speaker 5: credits to make sure that they can afford the premiums
• 5:11
Speaker 5: for their health insurance.
• 5:13
Speaker 3: And you talked about the number of West Virginians. What
• 5:15
Speaker 3: was that number again for West Virginians that rely on.
• 5:17
Speaker 5: These Yeah, so fifty thousand West Virginians, so about the
• 5:21
Speaker 5: side of Charleston rely on these premium task credits to
• 5:26
Speaker 5: afford their health insurance.
• 5:28
Speaker 3: And so obviously there's a lot of concerns because this is,
• 5:32
Speaker 3: as you said, a national coalition, but there's a lot
• 5:34
Speaker 3: of concerns here for the Mountain States specifically.
• 5:38
Speaker 5: Exactly because you know, the challenge is these task credits.
• 5:43
Speaker 5: If Congress doesn't act by the end of this year,
• 5:45
Speaker 5: those task credits are going to be cut by more
• 5:48
Speaker 5: than half for a lot of people. So if that happens,
• 5:51
Speaker 5: healthcare costs are going to skyrocket for those fifty thousand
• 5:54
Speaker 5: West Virginians. And you know, I think we can all
• 5:56
Speaker 5: say those are folks that can't afford for their costs
• 6:00
Speaker 5: and help their costs to suddenly skyrocket. Just you know,
• 6:03
Speaker 5: I think example, a sixty year old couple could see
• 6:07
Speaker 5: their premiums increase by thirty two thousand dollars a year,
• 6:12
Speaker 5: and a family of four could see something closer to
• 6:14
Speaker 5: eighteen thousand dollars a year. That's a burden that almost
• 6:17
Speaker 5: no one can afford.
• 6:18
Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, exactly right. We're talking to Brian connell Agin,
• 6:21
Speaker 3: who's the vice president of Federal Affairs at the Leukemia
• 6:24
Speaker 3: Alymphoma Society and a spokesperson for the group Keep Americans Covered.
• 6:28
Speaker 3: Let's talk about what people need to do. What's the
• 6:31
Speaker 3: call to action here, as we say in the advertising world, Brian,
• 6:33
Speaker 3: what do people need to do if they have concerns
• 6:35
  Speaker 3: about this?
• 6:37
Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean hope boks are concerned because it is concerning.
• 6:39
Speaker 5: You know, we don't want to folks to lose their health insurance.
• 6:41
Speaker 5: So to learn more and to contact your local representatives
• 6:46
Speaker 5: that represent you in DC, we'd ask folks to visit
• 6:51
Speaker 5: Americans Covered dot org online, learn more about the issue,
• 6:56
Speaker 5: learn more about what it means for West Virginia, and
• 6:58
Speaker 5: be connected directly with your representatives. Senators, the folks who
• 7:02
Speaker 5: are going to make a decision on whether these expire
• 7:05
Speaker 5: at the end of the year. And we see a
• 7:06
Speaker 5: big skyrocket and folks healthcare costs.
• 7:08
Speaker 3: All right, Brian, very important stuff. I appreciate you taking
• 7:11
Speaker 3: time on our schedule to join us. Man, thanks a lot,
• 7:13
Speaker 3: have a great day. Thank you all right, Pantons Brian
• 7:16
Speaker 3: Connell again. He is the vice president of Federal of
• 7:19
Speaker 3: Affairs at the Leukemia and Lymphone with Society and a
• 7:22
Speaker 3: spokesperson for the group. Keep Americans Covered with Dave Allen
• 7:25
Speaker 3: Show and five eighty Live is brought to by Morgan
• 7:27
Speaker 3: and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Coming up a
• 7:30
Speaker 3: little bit later on the show, we're going to talk
• 7:31
Speaker 3: about the West Virginia Fishing Hunting, an outdoor sports show
• 7:34
Speaker 3: which is going to be held in Morgantown. This is
• 7:37
Speaker 3: coming weekend. Rachelle Beatty will join us to talk about that,
• 7:41
Speaker 3: and also we're going to be joined by Logan Scott,
• 7:43
Speaker 3: program director and afternoon host here in the building our
• 7:46
Speaker 3: sister station V one hundred to talk about our big
• 7:49
Speaker 3: drive through campaign that we are going to be doing
• 7:52
Speaker 3: to help out the flood victims in southern West Virginia.
• 7:55
Speaker 3: We're teaming up with some really good folks like the
• 7:56
Speaker 3: Charleston Dirty Birds and Union Mission and Members Choice Federal
• 7:59
Speaker 3: Credit Union for this event on Wednesday, seven am till
• 8:03
Speaker 3: six pm on our parking lot here at eleven eleven
• 8:06
Speaker 3: Virginia Streets, Charleston. I understand I have a phone call,
• 8:09
Speaker 3: so we'll go to the phones. Good morning, you're on
• 8:11
  Speaker 3: the show.
• 8:13
Speaker 7: Well, good morning, how are you today?
• 8:15
Speaker 3: It's it's my old friend Tim. I recognize the voice.
• 8:18
Speaker 3: How you doing, buddy, Well.
• 8:21
Speaker 7: Doing pretty good. I wanted to give you a call.
• 8:24
  Speaker 7: While I don't normally do social media, I don't read
• 8:29
Speaker 7: the enquire either, for the same reason I did. I
• 8:33
Speaker 7: did happen to see your post. And you know, that
• 8:37
Speaker 7: is a good question. We've had significant flood damage and
• 8:41
Speaker 7: you are right. West Virginia has done much for Donald Trump,
• 8:46
Speaker 7: but we're not really seeing any flood relief here. And
• 8:49
Speaker 7: really it seems like he's torn down the mechanisms to
• 8:52
Speaker 7: receive that. You know, FEMA's lost several employees somewhere in
• 8:56
Speaker 7: the thousands, and they're talking about abolishing it completely. So
• 9:00
Speaker 7: what would even be the mechanism were we to get
• 9:02
Speaker 7: that kind of declaration?
• 9:04
Speaker 3: You know, And this goes back and I kind of
• 9:06
Speaker 3: prefaced this the top of the show. I kind of
• 9:08
Speaker 3: mentioned it that I had a little social media on
• 9:10
Speaker 3: Saturday and Sunday talking about this, and I understand, and
• 9:14
Speaker 3: I've been you know, I've spent a lot of time
• 9:16
Speaker 3: in southern West Virginia, obviously being from there, and I
• 9:18
Speaker 3: know how FEMA works and things of that nature. My
• 9:21
Speaker 3: concern was the fact that Donald Trump hadn't even mentioned
• 9:24
Speaker 3: it in anything that I have. But you're right with
• 9:27
Speaker 3: the dismantling of some of these federal organizations. Although I
• 9:29
Speaker 3: don't think it's going to be an overnight thing, there
• 9:31
Speaker 3: are a lot of concerns about it, and this is
• 9:34
Speaker 3: an area of the United States that is the And
• 9:38
Speaker 3: I didn't mean this as an insult to him. I
• 9:39
Speaker 3: just said the trumpiest of Trump in this part of
• 9:43
Speaker 3: the world. And to my knowledge, there's not even been
• 9:46
Speaker 3: a mention from the President about the flooding in southern
• 9:49
Speaker 3: West Virginia and in eastern Kentucky.
• 9:54
Speaker 7: And to be honest, we gotten my concerns about our
• 9:57
Speaker 7: state government as well. A lot of people may be
• 10:01
Speaker 7: familiar with the fact that they've promiltrated a call for
• 10:05
Speaker 7: a survey response. They're having a survey on the damage response.
• 10:10
Speaker 7: I have to say Frontier has had my phone out
• 10:13
Speaker 7: for the past week. Fortunately, I've been able to call
• 10:16
Speaker 7: in to you, but the Frontier hasn't been able to
• 10:18
Speaker 7: get phone on, so that doesn't work. But calling, you know,
• 10:22
Speaker 7: checking in on their disaster survey, you go online and
• 10:25
Speaker 7: it's not working. You can't file there, it won't take addresses.
• 10:29
Speaker 7: So then the next process is you dial two one one.
• 10:34
Speaker 7: They don't return calls at two one one. You leave
• 10:36
Speaker 7: a message and there's no call. And then and is
• 10:39
Speaker 7: it true did the new Republican governor not announce that
• 10:44
Speaker 7: the just passed reco Republican governor a four hundred million
• 10:49
Speaker 7: dollar deficite we're facing from his misspending. Is that accurate?
• 10:53
Speaker 3: Well, it depends on which metric you used him, because
• 10:58
Speaker 3: that's that's what the incoming governor has said. But others
• 11:01
Speaker 3: have said that's not entirely true. So I guess the
• 11:04
Speaker 3: truth is somewhere in the middle. Possibly.
• 11:07
Speaker 7: I would hope that the governor of the great State
• 11:10
Speaker 7: of West Virginia would be telling the citizens the truth.
• 11:12
Speaker 7: And I would also like for him to be speaking
• 11:16
Speaker 7: about our disaster problem here and Donald Trump, you know
• 11:21
Speaker 7: you are right, I mean, both Jim Justice and our
• 11:26
Speaker 7: current president, current Governor Morrissey. They both knelt and kissed
• 11:29
Speaker 7: the ring for Trump and just like Trump said, all
• 11:35
Speaker 7: on your vote, I don't really care about you. Apparently
• 11:38
Speaker 7: that's coming to fruition here because we are not seeing
• 11:41
Speaker 7: any response whatsoever from the FEDS, and not only that,
• 11:44
Speaker 7: like to say, we're seeing an erosion of their capability
• 11:47
Speaker 7: to help folks out up these hills and hollows.
• 11:50
  Speaker 3: You know what.
• 11:51
Speaker 7: Is the answer. If our own governor won't go and
• 11:53
Speaker 7: plead the case, what are we going to do?
• 11:56
Speaker 3: All right, Tim, I got to move on. I appreciate
• 11:58
Speaker 3: your phone call. Thanks a lot. Dave Allen Show on five.

Speaker 3: Got a couple of texts here, Tex says heard the
• 12:22
Speaker 3: news to Dan Bongino is the new deputy director of
• 12:25
Speaker 3: the FBI. Does that mean we don't have to hear
• 12:28
Speaker 3: his mindless propaganda from noon till three on the radio
• 12:31
Speaker 3: any longer? Do you think we can get someone who
• 12:34
Speaker 3: isn't a right wing propaganda this to fill that slot.
• 12:37
Speaker 3: I'd like to listen to the station more, but noon
• 12:39
Speaker 3: to five am it's either sports or right wing propaganda,
• 12:44
Speaker 3: says a Texter. Tex says ask Coop of Bongino going
• 12:48
Speaker 3: off the air with the apployment, can we have Clay
• 12:51
Speaker 3: and buck back? He gets the text as well as
• 12:54
Speaker 3: I do. We'll we'll talk about that on you know,
• 12:57
Speaker 3: I'll leave that up to the bosses. How's that? He says?
• 13:00
Speaker 3: Saw you on Twitter? Trump doesn't offer thoughts and prayers
• 13:03
Speaker 3: because he doesn't believe in gods outside himself. He's not
• 13:06
Speaker 3: even culturally Christian, let alone. Plus the Christians that voted
• 13:09
Speaker 3: for him know that deep down, but he provided the
• 13:12
Speaker 3: access to power they want in government. Christianity is thoroughly
• 13:15
Speaker 3: captured by politics. It is pathetic. We're going to take

• 16:22
Speaker 3: you already know by now. The place to be this
• 16:25
Speaker 3: weekend is Miley Park in Morgantown for the West Virginia
• 16:27
Speaker 3: Fishing Hunting, an outdoor sports show. This is a production
• 16:30
Speaker 3: of WVRC Media and Rachelle Beatty and I think Kelly's
• 16:33
Speaker 3: with her too, joined us to talk about it. Good morning, ladies,
• 16:37
Speaker 3: Good morning day morning.
• 16:38
  Speaker 12: How are you.
• 16:39
Speaker 3: I remember doing this last year and it's like I'm
• 16:41
Speaker 3: talking like to the Pointer sisters or something. You guys
• 16:43
Speaker 3: are like in harmony here with both of you.
• 16:47
Speaker 12: We share a brain. Yeah.
• 16:48
Speaker 13: I think we got called the Bobsey Twins this morning.
• 16:50
Speaker 3: Okay, all right, all right, So what's going on up
• 16:53
  Speaker 3: there this weekend?
• 16:54
Speaker 13: Well, it is our twenty third annual West Virginia Fishing,
• 16:58
Speaker 13: Hunting an Outdoor Sports show, and we're so excited. We
• 17:01
Speaker 13: have lots of great vendors from all over the country,
• 17:04
Speaker 13: all over the world. Really, we have people from South
• 17:09
Speaker 13: Africa coming from Canada. So we're just so excited to
• 17:12
Speaker 13: see your vendors. And we can't wait for you to
• 17:13
  Speaker 13: meet him too.
• 17:14
Speaker 3: You know it's going to I've been I've been up
• 17:16
Speaker 3: there a couple of times for this event, and I'm
• 17:18
Speaker 3: not the most outdoorsy guy in the world, but I'll
• 17:20
Speaker 3: tell you there is something for everybody to use the
• 17:23
Speaker 3: advertising cliche if they and I understand that mister outdoors
• 17:25
Speaker 3: Chris Lawrence is going to be there too, is that right?
• 17:27
Speaker 12: He will? He will be there Saturday morning, and I guess.
• 17:31
Speaker 3: He's doing his show from there, right, because that's what
• 17:33
  Speaker 3: he normally does.
• 17:34
Speaker 12: Is that, yeah, absolutely right.
• 17:36
Speaker 3: How many years has this been going on?
• 17:38
Speaker 12: This is our twenty third year.
• 17:40
Speaker 3: Twenty third year, and again it's a great family event
• 17:43
Speaker 3: and the weather and I know it's been the same
• 17:46
Speaker 3: up in Morgantown as what it has here. It's just
• 17:48
Speaker 3: been crap, you know. It's so it'd be a good
• 17:50
Speaker 3: opportunity for people to get out of the office or
• 17:53
Speaker 3: get out of their homes, I should say, and start
• 17:56
Speaker 3: looking forward to fishing season, hunting season later. But let's
• 18:00
Speaker 3: take care of fishing season first. And there's going to
• 18:02
Speaker 3: be a lot of outfitters, as you said there, and
• 18:04
Speaker 3: a lot of big names people are going to recognize.
• 18:07
Speaker 13: Oh yeah, absolutely. We have some special guests from West Virginia.
• 18:11
Speaker 13: We have the Chase with Ted and Amber and Whitetail
• 18:13
Speaker 13: Frenzy Kenny usually comes up for that one. And these
• 18:16
Speaker 13: are our West Virginia folks who have their own shows
• 18:18
Speaker 13: on Pursuit Channel Hunt TV. We also have Bad Outdoors coming,
• 18:22
Speaker 13: Hunt Chef and Josh White's Outdoor Adventures. So great people
• 18:27
Speaker 13: from all over and they want to meet you too.
• 18:30
Speaker 3: And I'll tell you one of the things I say
• 18:32
Speaker 3: about this is that to use the cliche, ladies. There
• 18:35
Speaker 3: is something for the entire family there because the little kids,
• 18:38
Speaker 3: the big kids. There's all sorts of demonstrations and things
• 18:40
Speaker 3: of that nature. If you're an outdoors person, this is
• 18:43
Speaker 3: definitely the place to be. And I know you've got
• 18:45
Speaker 3: a Facebook page set up. Give us the website and
• 18:49
Speaker 3: any other pertinent information. We're going to have you on
• 18:51
Speaker 3: later in the week to get into more specifics, but
• 18:53
Speaker 3: tell folks what they need to know.

• 19:08
Speaker 3: All right, Well again, it's happening this weekend up at
• 19:11
Speaker 3: Miland Park in Morgantown, and it's going to be a great,
• 19:14
Speaker 3: great event. A lot of us will be up there.
• 19:15
Speaker 3: Look forward to us seeing and talking and I'll talk
• 19:17
Speaker 3: to you again about it later this week. As we
• 19:19
Speaker 3: get closer, you'll have more things to add to it.
• 19:21
Speaker 3: I'm sure I appreciate you both being here, Thank you,
• 19:23
Speaker 3: Thank you. All right, Kelly and Rachelle there with the
• 19:27
Speaker 3: West Virginia Fishing, Hunting and Outdoor Sports Show being presented
• 19:30
Speaker 3: in Morgantown this coming weekend. It's going to be a great,
• 19:34
Speaker 3: great time and again mister Outdoors Chris Lawrence will be
• 19:36
Speaker 3: there and I think I do believe he's doing his
• 19:39
Speaker 3: show live from there Outdoors today Westerngion Outdoors because he
• 19:42
Speaker 3: does it every every year, I think pretty much. There
• 19:44
Speaker 3: lots of seminars and stuff. And again, the weather has
• 19:46
Speaker 3: not been the best in the world all wintertime long,
• 19:49

Speaker 3: what you don't know can hurt you. Let me get
• 21:13
Speaker 3: to some text. Man, the textures are busy this morning, Texas.
• 21:18
Speaker 3: I'm not a Trump voter, but this crusade attempting to
• 21:20
Speaker 3: show Trump doesn't care about West Virginia is a ridiculous
• 21:23
Speaker 3: stretch first planted by the West Virginia Democratic Party as
• 21:27
Speaker 3: a tool to whip people up, but in reality it
• 21:29
Speaker 3: will prove to be foolish, and promoted it will prove
• 21:32
Speaker 3: to be even more foolish. Well, I am certainly not
• 21:35
Speaker 3: a member of the West Virginia Democratic Party. I'm not.
• 21:39
Speaker 3: I'm a registered independent, former Republican but now registered independent.
• 21:43
Speaker 3: And I was not the first person that brought it up,
• 21:46
Speaker 3: but I can certainly tell the Texter didn't. I'm not
• 21:49
Speaker 3: in cahoots, if you will, with the Democratic Party of
• 21:52
Speaker 3: the State of West Virginia. I just it's kind of
• 21:56
Speaker 3: something that occurred to me, Like, where's where's Donald Trump
• 22:00
Speaker 3: hearing all this? Tex says abolished FEMA. Those morons who
• 22:05
Speaker 3: voted for Trump can just pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
• 22:08
Speaker 3: You wanted an end of government handouts, so you shall
• 22:12
Speaker 3: get it, says a Texture Texas Dave, I am conservative,
• 22:15
Speaker 3: but I don't want to hear someone yapping three hours
• 22:17
Speaker 3: on the radio. We need to fill that slot with
• 22:20
Speaker 3: some good local shows and programming, says a Texture. This
• 22:23
Speaker 3: is in reference to Dan Bongino being named what was
• 22:27
Speaker 3: the title? I think Deputy director of the FBI, I
• 22:30
Speaker 3: can tell you. And I'm not doing the programming side
• 22:32
Speaker 3: of things here in the building. I don't know exactly
• 22:34
Speaker 3: what's going to happen with the Dan Bongino show. I
• 22:37
Speaker 3: was told by someone in the business that he's probably
• 22:40
Speaker 3: going to continue it through March. I don't know that
• 22:42
Speaker 3: that's a fact, but it And look, you know, the
• 22:46
Speaker 3: thing about Bongino is as I will say this because
• 22:49
Speaker 3: somebody on social media will ask about his credentials. I mean,
• 22:53
Speaker 3: the guy does have an extensive secret service background, I
• 22:57
Speaker 3: will say. And it's never good to a size your
• 23:00
Speaker 3: own company. I'm not criticizing the company necessarily, but I'm
• 23:04
Speaker 3: not necessarily a fan of the show. But that's just me.
• 23:07
Speaker 3: That's just me. I was a huge Rush fan because
• 23:10
Speaker 3: Rush was entertaining. I just don't know that I see
• 23:13
Speaker 3: Dan Bongino as very entertaining. But that's just me. You know, everybody,
• 23:16
Speaker 3: everybody's different. Texas, the Governor of West Virginia needs to
• 23:20
Speaker 3: issue an executive order that says all lanes of interstate
• 23:23
Speaker 3: cannot be shut down unless he personally approves it. In
• 23:27
Speaker 3: no other state do emergency workers shut down entire interstates
• 23:30
Speaker 3: it's almost exclusive to West Virginia and other places. Emergency
• 23:34
Speaker 3: workers ensure at least one lane that's kept open to
• 23:36
Speaker 3: reduce the dangers of backed up drivers who are stuck
• 23:40
Speaker 3: with nowhere to go. Texas I sixty four is rolling
• 23:46
Speaker 3: roadblocks for hole patching. It's open and moving slowly. I
• 23:50
Speaker 3: appreciate the texture for throwing that out there. Text says
• 23:55
Speaker 3: a lot of texts today. Good morning, Dave. Understand that
• 24:00
  Speaker 3: you're a Republican, and I'm not a Republican. I was,
• 24:04
Speaker 3: but I'm not now, And from my point of view,
• 24:07
Speaker 3: if you're a physical conservative, I get that, But how
• 24:10
Speaker 3: do you explain the level of today's party? If Reagan
• 24:13
Speaker 3: were to see how Trump is giving putin favors. I'll
• 24:17
Speaker 3: just say that glad I caught that ahead of time,
• 24:21
Speaker 3: he'd be rolling over in his grave like a rotisserie chicken.
• 24:24
Speaker 3: This is unprecedented to let a civilian run a monk,
• 24:28
Speaker 3: and it's wrong. What are your thoughts as a texture?
• 24:35
Speaker 3: Let me just say that I think that we all
• 24:37
Speaker 3: could agree that government does need some trimming. I don't
• 24:43
Speaker 3: know myself that taking a sledgehammer or in elon musk
• 24:49
Speaker 3: case a literal chainsaw to it is the way to go.
• 24:52
Speaker 3: And now you're starting to see a little bit of
• 24:55
Speaker 3: pushback even from what's the cash cash I mean telling
• 25:01
Speaker 3: people not to answer the emails and what this has
• 25:05
Speaker 3: to do with They sent out these emails to various
• 25:08
Speaker 3: government workers saying, you know, explain what it is that
• 25:11
Speaker 3: you do, Explain what you've done in the last week,
• 25:14
Speaker 3: the last month or whatever, and uh the incoming dude
• 25:17
Speaker 3: there cash battel told people not to answer it. So
• 25:20
Speaker 3: could we be seeing little chinks in the armor here?
• 25:23
Speaker 3: I don't know, Dex, says Dave. When I watch the
• 25:27
Speaker 3: response to the flooding of the news, I don't see
• 25:30
Speaker 3: the Westford International Guard out helping the southern towns recover.
• 25:34
Speaker 3: You need to talk to Governor Morrisy concerning this and
• 25:36
Speaker 3: have them explain things I have. Actually, I beg to
• 25:39
Speaker 3: differ there because I know in Williamson the National Guard
• 25:41
Speaker 3: has been out there. I do know that for a fact.
• 25:45
Speaker 3: I saw some pictures of actually some friends of mine,
• 25:47
Speaker 3: O we're at the Williamson Field House over the weekend
• 25:50
Speaker 3: helping to distribute various things there. Let me see here, Dave,
• 25:58
Speaker 3: Donald Trump has been golfing West Virginia didn't bend over
• 26:01
Speaker 3: backwards for Trump. West Virginia been over Ford and said
• 26:03
Speaker 3: please Daddy. And what do West Virginians expect when they
• 26:06
Speaker 3: voted for Republicans who don't think the government is used
• 26:09
Speaker 3: for anything other than cutting taxes for the wealthy?
• 26:14
  Speaker 14: Uh?
• 26:15
Speaker 3: Texas, The Commerce Secretary said on the Fox Entertainment channel
• 26:18
Speaker 3: that Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid will be going away.
• 26:22

• 26:25

Speaker 3: about it, Logan, good morning, Welcome to the show.
• 32:21
Speaker 16: Good morning, and I would just like to add, you know,
• 32:23
Speaker 16: West Virginians, we always come together and pull through for
• 32:26
  Speaker 16: each other.
• 32:27
Speaker 3: So it's great that we were able.
• 32:29
Speaker 16: I don't want to say to throw this together, but
• 32:30
Speaker 16: to throw this together last week.
• 32:32
Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. It was a big shout out to the
• 32:35
Speaker 3: folks at the Andy Shay and the folks at the
• 32:37
Speaker 3: Dirty Birds, and also to Members Choice Federal Credit Union
• 32:41
Speaker 3: and also Ad Jason, the folks at Union Mission, because
• 32:45
Speaker 3: it was it was, it was, it was very interesting.
• 32:47
Speaker 3: We were having a little meeting upstairs talking about this,
• 32:51
Speaker 3: about what we could do. My phone, I get a
• 32:54
Speaker 3: text from Jason Quintreil over at Union Mission saying hey, Dave,
• 32:59
Speaker 3: we would like to team up and see if we
• 33:01
Speaker 3: can help out here. It's like, well, guess what, guess
• 33:04
Speaker 3: what gas? Yeah, yeah, we got our gap here. But
• 33:07
Speaker 3: now you're right, West virgin is very giving people. And
• 33:09
Speaker 3: whether it's when we do things like the backpack attack,
• 33:12
Speaker 3: whether it's it's trick or bread or what Rob has
• 33:15
Speaker 3: done with the sock drop and the turkey drop, we
• 33:17
Speaker 3: get to we get the greatest listeners in the world. Man.
• 33:19
Speaker 16: So it works the same way these the drive through
• 33:22
Speaker 16: our parking lot. It's the disaster relief bucket drop. And
• 33:25
Speaker 16: like you said, David's this Wednesday, seven am to six pm,
• 33:28
Speaker 16: eleven eleven Virginia Street East. Now we're collecting items such
• 33:32
Speaker 16: as in ninety five masks, laundry, detergent, household cleaner, dish, soap,
• 33:37
Speaker 16: air freshener, scrub bushes bruh yeah, scrub brush brushes, and
• 33:42
Speaker 16: hygiene kits as well.
• 33:43
Speaker 3: Do you say that again? Scrub brushes I thought I
• 33:45
Speaker 3: message up the first time. I don't think it did.
• 33:46
Speaker 16: And also hygiene kits, so think of washcloths, towels, combs,
• 33:50
Speaker 16: nail clippers, soap, tooth brushes, bandages, one gallon reusable bags
• 33:57
Speaker 16: and again buckets. So we're gonna collec to all of
• 34:00
Speaker 16: these items on Wednesday, seven am to six pm with
• 34:03
Speaker 16: Union Mission and the Charleston Dirty Birds here at our
• 34:06
Speaker 16: studios eleven eleven Virginia Street East. And again it's presented
• 34:09
Speaker 16: by Members Choice Federal Credit Union.
• 34:11
Speaker 3: Yeah, and again the great all three of those great,
• 34:14
Speaker 3: great members of the community. And I will say this,
• 34:16
Speaker 3: yesterday my wife was out running Samarns and spending money. Yeah,
• 34:21
Speaker 3: that's her money. She can do what she wants to
• 34:22
Speaker 3: do with it. But she made a trip to Dollar
• 34:25
Speaker 3: Tree yesterday and she got a heck of a lot
• 34:29
Speaker 3: of stuff that I have in my car that I've
• 34:30
Speaker 3: got to bring in for not a whole lot of money.
• 34:34
Speaker 3: She got a lot of those items at Dollar Tree. Yes,
• 34:37
Speaker 3: dollar twenty five. There you go. Yeah, so you don't
• 34:39
Speaker 3: have to spend a whole lot of money on these things.
• 34:41
Speaker 3: And look, just like we say with the when we
• 34:43
Speaker 3: did the sock drop, we had people. We had a
• 34:45
Speaker 3: lady that brought in two hundred and fifty pairs of socks.
• 34:48
Speaker 3: We had one person that came in and they had
• 34:51
Speaker 3: one pair of socks. Absolutely we will. Well, I take
• 34:54
Speaker 3: it back. They probably didn't have one, because I don't
• 34:56
Speaker 3: know that you can buy one pair of socks, but
• 34:57
Speaker 3: they buy they had a small packa But we'll take
• 35:01
Speaker 3: it all because it all adds up, and we will.
• 35:03
  Speaker 15: Uh.
• 35:03
Speaker 3: And again, if you've never gone through anything like this,
• 35:07
Speaker 3: like the you know, there's there's nothing as nasty in
• 35:10
Speaker 3: the world as a flood. I've been fortunate that I haven't,
• 35:15
Speaker 3: but in my time in southern West Virginia, I have
• 35:17
Speaker 3: seen enough of it. Just the mud, the muck, and
• 35:20
Speaker 3: the smell that is everywhere, and just you you look
• 35:24
Speaker 3: at when your homes, your businesses have been destroyed, logan,
• 35:28
Speaker 3: you look at it like I don't even know where
• 35:31
Speaker 3: to start, right and uh and and this, and there's
• 35:34
Speaker 3: been so many people that have already stepped up to
• 35:38
Speaker 3: the plate. And look, we are not doing this for
• 35:40
Speaker 3: publicity or whatever. We're just doing something to help out.
• 35:43
Speaker 3: And a lot of our stations in the company are
• 35:45
Speaker 3: doing this for the serious parts of that that have
• 35:46
Speaker 3: no ties at all right to southern West Virginia. We
• 35:49
Speaker 3: and so many others just want to help.
• 35:51
Speaker 16: Out absolutely, and you can help us help those in need.
• 35:54
Speaker 16: This Wednesday, seven am to six pm. Again kitchen and
• 35:58
Speaker 16: work gloves and not five masks, dish soap, air freshener,
• 36:03
Speaker 16: scrub brushes, hygiene kits as well, towels, washcloths, combs, because
• 36:09
Speaker 16: people are losing things in their house as well.
• 36:11
Speaker 3: Yeah, so that the things that you think you never
• 36:14
Speaker 3: have to buyoutely because like things like fingernail clippers, you think, well,
• 36:17
  Speaker 3: I don't know if I've ever bought a pair in
• 36:19
Speaker 3: my life. I thought they just came with a house, right,
• 36:21
Speaker 3: So it's it's the things like and and you can't
• 36:24
Speaker 3: go wrong with good old cash. Absolutely we'll take that
• 36:26
  Speaker 3: as well. Yep.
• 36:27
Speaker 16: And again teaming up with Union Mission and the Charleston
• 36:29
Speaker 16: Dirty Birds for the disaster relief bucket drop this Wednesday.
• 36:33
Speaker 3: All right, and again we'll start at seven And unlike
• 36:35
Speaker 3: I mean the sock drop was amazing, but it was
• 36:38
Speaker 3: a little cold. It was have good weather on Wednesday.
• 36:41
Speaker 3: It's the weather is gonna be fantastic. It'll be a
• 36:43
Speaker 3: little cloudy and like in the mid to upper sixties.
• 36:45
Speaker 3: So unlike last time when when we were all looking
• 36:48
Speaker 3: at each other, well, I thought it was your turn
• 36:50
Speaker 3: to go out. I thought it was your everybody. Everybody's
• 36:52
Speaker 3: gonna want to be outside up there out there to
• 36:54
Speaker 3: help this, help us out. And again we'll start at
• 36:56
Speaker 3: seven am. We'll go all the way to six pm.
• 36:58
Speaker 3: And this is one of our events that we're all
• 37:00
Speaker 3: involved with. You know, you represent V one hundred, I
• 37:03
Speaker 3: represent the WHS in the Mountain. Steve Animal is going
• 37:06
Speaker 3: to be there from the Mountain, Woody and the folks
• 37:08
Speaker 3: from the Beat will be there, Rob and Chapel and
• 37:10
Speaker 3: Crash from KWS. We all kind of come together for these.
• 37:13
  Speaker 16: Things and it's a it's a great event too, just
• 37:14
Speaker 16: to see everybody come together in not just here but
• 37:17
  Speaker 16: company wide.
• 37:18
Speaker 3: Like you said, all right, logan, what's going on at
• 37:21
Speaker 3: V one hundred these days? I gonna give you a
• 37:22
Speaker 3: little plug for your station across the hall. What are
• 37:24
Speaker 3: you going going on these days? What exciting? Steve and
• 37:27
Speaker 3: Jenny wake up with them.
• 37:29
Speaker 16: You can tune in with me afternoons two to seven,
• 37:32
Speaker 16: the drive At five I take your request for the
• 37:34
Speaker 16: drive home, and at four twenty it's the now Trending Report,
• 37:38
Speaker 16: so you get the latest in what's going on celebrity wise.
• 37:41
Speaker 3: What did I I was listening the other day and
• 37:43
Speaker 3: I heard you doing something and if I butcher the name,
• 37:45
Speaker 3: I apologize. It was you're doing some kind of a
• 37:49
  Speaker 3: like a it's a retro thing. I know Jenny does
• 37:51
Speaker 3: the thing with the eighties, but you're doing something like
• 37:53
Speaker 3: a little newer retro like the two thousand.
• 37:55
  Speaker 11: Yeah.
• 37:56
Speaker 16: Yeah, that is the two o'clock two K song of
• 37:58
Speaker 16: the day. So I feature a song from like twenty
• 38:01
  Speaker 16: to twenty fifteen.
• 38:02
Speaker 3: And people listening going, well, that's not retro, it kind
• 38:05
  Speaker 3: of is.
• 38:06
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 38:06
Speaker 3: Yeah, classic rock now you want classic rock, and retro
• 38:09
Speaker 3: now is two thousand and five. Yeah, so keep that
• 38:11
  Speaker 3: in mind.
• 38:12
Speaker 16: Well, and I so I grew up listening to two thousands.
• 38:15
Speaker 16: I'm like, there are so many I don't want to
• 38:16
Speaker 16: say lost hits, but lost hits of the two thousands
• 38:19
Speaker 16: that you know it's good to pull out of the vault.
• 38:21
Speaker 3: Yeah, And well, you're doing good stuff over there, man,
• 38:24
  Speaker 3: Thank you.
• 38:24
Speaker 16: You can stream us online V one hundred dot FM
• 38:26
Speaker 16: or tune in ninety nine point nine and all you get.
• 38:28
Speaker 3: To do is tell one of us in the building
• 38:30
Speaker 3: and talk about your station, and then they're all about it.
• 38:32
  Speaker 5: Man.
• 38:33
Speaker 3: Loogan Scott, program director in the afternoon host of V
• 38:35
Speaker 3: one hundred. I appreciate you being here man, Thanks a lot,
• 38:37
Speaker 3: and I'll see you out on the lot on Wednesday.
• 38:40
Speaker 3: Let me knock out a bunch a text here, Tex says,
• 38:43
Speaker 3: in addition to cleaning products, will you possibly accept pet foods? Also?
• 38:47
Speaker 3: I saw reports that the shelters got here hit hard.
• 38:50
Speaker 3: Also they got the animals out, but the lost dog
• 38:53
Speaker 3: and can't fit. So yeah, like, we're not going to
• 38:55
Speaker 3: turn anything away. Those are just the things that we
• 38:58
Speaker 3: that people are asking for that we talk to the people,
• 39:02
Speaker 3: and Union Mission is going to help us facilitate all
• 39:04
Speaker 3: these items down there. But talking to people that are
• 39:06
Speaker 3: actually boots on the ground right now, that have been
• 39:08
Speaker 3: there since last weekend when this flood first hit, those
• 39:11
Speaker 3: are the things that they specifically ask for, those things
• 39:14
Speaker 3: that we that Logan just mentioned. But you want to
• 39:18
Speaker 3: give something else, Again, We're not going to turn anything
• 39:20
Speaker 3: away because everything, everything can be used. And again you

Speaker 3: update on the relief and support received from President Trump.
• 44:26
Speaker 3: Thanks well, Governor Morrissey has always welcome on this show.
• 44:28
Speaker 3: He has not been on this show as far as
• 44:32
Speaker 3: since he became the GOVNA, but he's always welcome on
• 44:35
Speaker 3: this show, and I know he's always welcome on with
• 44:37
Speaker 3: TJ and Dave on talk Line as well. So let
• 44:40
Speaker 3: me in case you joined s late. I want to
• 44:44
Speaker 3: get back to this President Trump thing for a moment,
• 44:47
Speaker 3: and I've had like three or four at least. I
• 44:49
Speaker 3: know people followed me on social media because I had
• 44:51
Speaker 3: the caller that talked about it. Then I had people
• 44:55
Speaker 3: texting the show about it too, basically all I was doing.
• 45:00
Speaker 3: And I did a written post on my social media
• 45:04
Speaker 3: on Saturday, and then I did an actual recorded that's
• 45:07
Speaker 3: the Sunday Dave look, you know, with the baseball cap
• 45:10
Speaker 3: on and a flannel shirt on yesterday, basically asking, as
• 45:15
Speaker 3: it pertains to the flooding in southern West Virginia and
• 45:17
Speaker 3: eastern Kentucky, where has President Donald Trump been? And I
• 45:22
Speaker 3: get it, As I said earlier, I understand that things
• 45:25
Speaker 3: take time, and again I applaud Governor Morrisey for being
• 45:28
Speaker 3: in the area. I think he's done a stellar job
• 45:30
Speaker 3: in my opinion. But unless I just missed it, I
• 45:38
Speaker 3: don't know that Donald Trump. President Donald Trump has even
• 45:41
Speaker 3: mentioned the flooding in southern West Virginia. And again, I
• 45:44
Speaker 3: understand the you know, FEMA, and I understand red tape
• 45:47
Speaker 3: and so on and so forth, but he's a sea
• 45:50
Speaker 3: pack over the weekend. How about he just say and
• 45:57
Speaker 3: our thoughts and prayers are with the people of other
• 46:00
Speaker 3: in West Virginia and eastern Kentucky with all its horrible flooding.
• 46:03
Speaker 3: That's kind of what I was getting at. Now. I know,
• 46:06
Speaker 3: thoughts and prayers aren't going to get your basement cleaned out.
• 46:09
Speaker 3: I get that, but at least to show a little
• 46:12
Speaker 3: bit of empathy here to say, you know how devastating
• 46:19
Speaker 3: it was, especially in an area where President Donald Trump
• 46:25
Speaker 3: is basically a deity. I had someone on social media
• 46:32
Speaker 3: when I did my post on Saturday. Someone commented and said,
• 46:36
Speaker 3: you can count me as one of those who worships
• 46:39
Speaker 3: Donald Trump. And I'm thinking, ain't nobody south of Heaven
• 46:46
Speaker 3: that I worship. I can tell you that right now,
• 46:48
Speaker 3: whether it's Donald Trump or whomever. So, I mean, you
• 46:52
Speaker 3: can like a person, whether it's a politician or an
• 46:54
Speaker 3: athlete or whatever, actor or singer or whatever, but as
• 46:57
Speaker 3: far as worshiping somebody, Heck, no, I ain't a worship
• 47:00
Speaker 3: and anybody on this earth. I can tell you that
• 47:03
  Speaker 3: I don't know. I just I just was kind of
• 47:05
Speaker 3: just just wondering Texas. FEMA won't come in until invited
• 47:11
Speaker 3: by the state. No request for a declaration means no FEMA.
• 47:15
  Speaker 3: It's a texture Texas, dave. I see now the Sheriff's
• 47:20
Speaker 3: department giving purple hearts to wounded police. It's a slap
• 47:23
Speaker 3: in the face to veterans I did. I was not
• 47:26
Speaker 3: aware of that. TJ. Meadows is here, Hey man, how
• 47:30
  Speaker 3: are you sir?
• 47:31
  Speaker 14: Oh?
• 47:31
Speaker 3: You know, just don't what I do. Don't want to
• 47:33
  Speaker 3: do here.
• 47:34
Speaker 19: I got a pull up on X that might be
• 47:36
Speaker 19: topical right now with what you're talking about the poll,
• 47:39
  Speaker 19: says a friend.
• 47:40
Speaker 3: It's a TJ. Meadows three or four by the way,
• 47:42
  Speaker 3: on X.
• 47:43
Speaker 19: Friend and colleague Amanda Baron recently reported that FEMA is
• 47:46
Speaker 19: currently conducting joint preliminary damage assessments in West Virginia, a
• 47:51
Speaker 19: first step before a major disaster declaration in requested areas.
• 47:55
Speaker 19: In your opinion, Trump will declare it, Trump will not
• 47:59
Speaker 19: declare it. Trump is late in acting so far. Forty
• 48:03
Speaker 19: six point six percent say he will declare it, eight
• 48:06
Speaker 19: point one percent say he will not, forty five point
• 48:09
Speaker 19: three percent say he is.
• 48:11
Speaker 3: Late in acting. I don't see how he doesn't declare it.
• 48:13
  Speaker 3: I mean, I'll I'll be honest with you, I bet
• 48:15
Speaker 3: I would be one of those that says he's probably
• 48:18
Speaker 3: probably late in declaring. But again, but again, it's not
• 48:23
Speaker 3: just about the declaration. To me, what what rubbed me
• 48:27
Speaker 3: the wrong way was the fact that we have not
• 48:29
Speaker 3: heard a damn thing out of the President of the
• 48:31
Speaker 3: United States on this flooding. That's what That's what got me.
• 48:35
Speaker 19: Wouldn't be hard, would it to maybe drop a line
• 48:37
Speaker 19: or or say some ten seconds I will say this, Dave.
• 48:40
Speaker 19: My sources on this tell me that what is being
• 48:44
Speaker 19: promised on the ground in terms of FEMA relief will
• 48:49
Speaker 19: not bring the area back and will be less than
• 48:52
Speaker 19: what FEMA will provide even under a Trump declaration. So
• 48:58
Speaker 19: what I am hearing is that the promises that are
• 49:01
Speaker 19: being made and the level of support that will come,
• 49:06
Speaker 19: or that is promise that will come, is different from reality.
• 49:10
Speaker 19: That's what I am being well.
• 49:11
Speaker 3: And again, this area, and this is an area that
• 49:15
Speaker 3: specifically I'll talk about Mingo McDowell County, I'm very familiar
• 49:18
Speaker 3: with in areas that are no strangers to this type
• 49:22
Speaker 3: of flooding, but many people, and if you've heard the interviews,
• 49:27
Speaker 3: Jeff spent time down there, Chris spent time down there.
• 49:29
Speaker 3: You and mister Wilson are going to be down there
• 49:32
Speaker 3: doing talk line from there on Thursday. They spent time there.
• 49:35
Speaker 3: They talk to people who have said TJ that this
• 49:37
Speaker 3: flooding is at a level to which many and people
• 49:41
Speaker 3: in my part of the world where I'm from, harken
• 49:43
Speaker 3: back to like nineteen seventy seven, some go back to
• 49:46
Speaker 3: nineteen sixty three. Many of them will say that this
• 49:49
Speaker 3: is flooding and devastation that they've never seen before.
• 49:53
Speaker 19: And you have to wonder how many times do you
• 49:56
Speaker 19: go through that before you say enough is enough and
• 49:59
Speaker 19: you leave. The things that's emerging from Jeff's reporting is
• 50:03
Speaker 19: that folks on the ground there are saying, we just
• 50:05
Speaker 19: hope we don't lose more people. We hope we don't
• 50:08
Speaker 19: lose more people. At some point, Dave, I think you
• 50:10
Speaker 19: reach your limit. You go through this a number of times,
• 50:13
Speaker 19: and you think about moving on and getting out, and
• 50:15
Speaker 19: these events tend to have that effect. So it will
• 50:19
Speaker 19: be interesting to see how many folks, out of just
• 50:23
Speaker 19: desperation being plain worn out by what happens, say it's
• 50:27
  Speaker 19: time to go.
• 50:28
Speaker 3: It is a very economically depressed area, and you have
• 50:32
Speaker 3: a lot of older folks. West Virginia in general, it
• 50:34
Speaker 3: is the oldest station of the nation, so oldest state,
• 50:36
Speaker 3: I should say. So you have a lot of people
• 50:38
Speaker 3: that probably don't have the time, the money, or the
• 50:41
Speaker 3: energy fair to move. You know, there's not a I mean,
• 50:45
Speaker 3: I would hazard to say there was probably very few
• 50:48
Speaker 3: twenty five year olds that got flooded down there.
• 50:50
Speaker 19: These could assistance be used to helping that could federal
• 50:53
Speaker 19: assistants be used to help propel that.
• 50:54
  Speaker 3: I don't know, I'm asking. I don't know. Maybe all right,
• 50:57
Speaker 3: may not got a couple of texture. Then we'll preview
• 51:00
Speaker 3: your show today. Text says Dave Trump, have empathy? Question Mark,
• 51:04
  Speaker 3: is this a comedy show? That's a text? Well, it's
• 51:06
Speaker 3: been called that. Text says Dave. I hear that President
• 51:11
Speaker 3: Trump has played golf ten of his first thirty days
• 51:13
Speaker 3: as president. Is that true? I don't know. I have
• 51:18
Speaker 3: seen a lot of people asking about the amount of
• 51:21
Speaker 3: time that President Trump has spent playing golf. I don't know, don't.
• 51:24
  Speaker 3: I can't back that up, so I don't.
• 51:25
Speaker 19: And I don't care. I care about the job he does.
• 51:27
Speaker 19: I don't care if you play golf eight days a week.
• 51:28
Speaker 19: If you're getting the job done, I don't care if
• 51:31
Speaker 19: you're a Democrat, Republican, Independent. If you're getting the job done,
• 51:34
Speaker 19: I don't care what you do in your leisure time.
• 51:35
Speaker 3: Tex says, if Republicans want to run the government like
• 51:38
Speaker 3: a business, why would they invest in an area that's
• 51:40
Speaker 3: been continually losing population and businesses for decades? In a
• 51:44
Speaker 3: business mind, that is a bad investment, says a text or.
• 51:48
Speaker 3: I will say this, and then we got to go.
• 51:51
Speaker 3: I will say that there's been a whole lot of
• 51:53
Speaker 3: money over the years spent in McDowell County to try
• 51:57
Speaker 3: to get people to move there, and it ain't work.
• 52:00
Speaker 3: Get any worn't all right? What do you got going
• 52:03
Speaker 3: on on the show today?
• 52:04
Speaker 19: Coming up ten thirty three, Senator Tom Tacumbo stops by.
• 52:07
Speaker 19: We'll talk about SB four sixty. He got up and
• 52:09
Speaker 19: pontificate it against that bill didn't do any good, But
• 52:12
Speaker 19: we'll talk to him ten o six to start the show,
• 52:15
Speaker 19: Senator Shelley Moore Capito, we are going to talk about
• 52:17
Speaker 19: those eighty jobs that Doge cuts in Parkersburg from the
• 52:21
Speaker 19: Bureau of Fiscal Service. That's a division of the Treasury
• 52:24
Speaker 19: that the budget, and a whole lot.
• 52:26
Speaker 3: More with her at ten oh six. All right, if
• 52:29
Speaker 3: you've not done so already, make sure you download the
• 52:31
Speaker 3: Metro News Television At that way you can actually see TJ.
• 52:35

Speaker 3: I will see you again tomorrow morning. We'll do it again.
• 52:48
Speaker 3: Till then, have fun. I love somebody.
