- 1:44Speaker 1: thousand subscribers on YouTube. I believe it's possible. I believe
- 1:48Speaker 1: I can fly. I believe that I believe we can
- 1:51Speaker 1: do it. And so if you like this and if
- 1:53Speaker 1: you share it, all you have to do really is
- 1:55Speaker 1: like even just hit share and takes the link. You
- 1:58Speaker 1: don't even have to share it with anybody. Yeah for real,
- 2:00Speaker 1: for real. Yeah, you could just copy it and YouTube
- 2:03Speaker 1: thinks you want to share it. Now more raccoons are
- 2:06Speaker 1: coming into the dumbstank you. So if you could do that,
- 2:08Speaker 1: we would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance. Yes, Now,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I also want to say that if you hear a
- 2:15Speaker 1: hum or a roar in the background our air conditioner,
- 2:19Speaker 1: because I live in Texas, bitch, and it's hot up
- 2:23Speaker 1: in here.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Get all these lights in here.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I'm in a sweatshirt for some unknown reasons.
- 2:29Speaker 2: You're hiding your sugar, Boddy.
- 2:31Speaker 1: It's my sugar body. I don't want to show it
- 2:33Speaker 1: to everybody, only my Mary, beautiful Shu gives all that.
- 2:38Speaker 1: But it's hot. Yeah, so the AC's on and that's
- 2:41Speaker 1: what you're hearing. Don't come from me.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Bro chill out, okay, audio file.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Get into. Let's get into Sister Wives, Season five, episode two, entitled.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Begs for an Answer.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I beg you, I beg you, I beg you for
- 2:55Speaker 1: the answer. Who is he begging for an answer?
- 2:58Speaker 2: From? Mary? Oh?
- 2:59Speaker 1: God, will you let me put a baby and you?
- 3:01Speaker 1: I can't.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I can't.
- 3:03Speaker 1: With Mary on the couch.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Crying again, somebody annoying bulleted me.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Sorry, no for real, though, how much do we have
- 3:12Speaker 1: to see?
- 3:13Speaker 2: Five seasons now? We've been asking this question.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't care. Also, I know the answer,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and so this is terrible.
- 3:19Speaker 2: It's so dumb, and I think it goes into like
- 3:21Speaker 2: season eight or something like that.
- 3:23Speaker 1: It's ridiculous.
- 3:25Speaker 2: So we start this episode with kind of like a
- 3:28Speaker 2: weird discussion of the og Wives and Cody talking about
- 3:33Speaker 2: how traditionally polygamist fathers are pieces of shit and they
- 3:36Speaker 2: don't want to be associated with their kids because if
- 3:39Speaker 2: they are, then they'll be outed as polygamists.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Now, they didn't present it like that. They said that
- 3:45Speaker 1: the fathers were pieces of shit. It was just dangerous
- 3:49Speaker 1: to be public and to admit that you had more
- 3:52Speaker 1: than one wife, because it is a crime in Utah.
- 3:56Speaker 1: And Christine told us. She reminded us that her grandfather
- 4:01Speaker 1: was actually separated from his wives. He went to jail
- 4:04Speaker 1: and they never got back together, and so she's traumaized.
- 4:08Speaker 1: She has some ancestral trauma around it.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Well, here's the solution. Don't live this lifestyle if it's
- 4:14Speaker 2: a grime.
- 4:15Speaker 1: But it's a tenant of their religion. So you're judging
- 4:18Speaker 1: their faith and that's.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Their fundamental faith. Yeah, I'm going to judge it.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Well, but the Browns are different, and you know why
- 4:24Speaker 1: because they wanted to go public because they are not
- 4:26Speaker 1: going to apologize for being polygamists. In fact, it is
- 4:30Speaker 1: time for parent teacher conferences and not just Cody and
- 4:35Speaker 1: the appropriate mother is going to show up to those conferences.
- 4:38Speaker 1: No Cody and all of the mothers, all four wives
- 4:43Speaker 1: are going to each teacher to talk about all their children.
- 4:46Speaker 2: That's courage now listen, I don't know what high school
- 4:50Speaker 2: does parent teacher conferences, But my mom didn't show up
- 4:53Speaker 2: to any parent teacher conferences after like grade three, so
- 4:57Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I mean, I remember having the when my daughter was
- 5:01Speaker 1: in elementary school. I don't remember a parent teacher conference
- 5:05Speaker 1: in high school.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I never had any in high school. I mean, but
- 5:08Speaker 2: maybe it's because I was a good kid and I
- 5:09Speaker 2: had good grades.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Somedays in the natural you were in the National Honor Society,
- 5:14Speaker 1: so it was like then that you were good.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I was. But some of these kids are not
- 5:20Speaker 2: doing well, namely, was it Aspen not going to class?
- 5:25Speaker 1: Christine doesn't think she has to go to school because
- 5:28Speaker 1: her grades are fine. Like if her grades were faltering,
- 5:31Speaker 1: of course I would send her to school, but like,
- 5:33Speaker 1: she can afford to miss a few days, so I
- 5:36Speaker 1: don't mind if she stays home. Okay, oh my god,
- 5:39Speaker 1: remind us of me. I was gonna say, in ninth grade, Yeah,
- 5:44Speaker 1: because we moved to this place in Colorado, and the
- 5:49Speaker 1: drive I had to there wasn't a bus or anything.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I had to drive her to school.
- 5:55Speaker 2: She said she never went on the public school bus, no,
- 5:58Speaker 2: which is wild to me. Because that's the only way
- 6:00Speaker 2: I got to school.
- 6:01Speaker 1: No, I drove her ass I picked I did or
- 6:05Speaker 1: my mother did. Wow, Like we took her, we brought
- 6:07Speaker 1: her back. But like when we moved to Colorado, that
- 6:10Speaker 1: was like a half an hour dress and I was like,
- 6:12Speaker 1: up laid. I was just partying a party. And they're like, oh, Jesus,
- 6:17Speaker 1: I gotta wake up at six o'clock get my kid
- 6:20Speaker 1: to school.
- 6:21Speaker 2: That's so you let's take a day off. Didn't you
- 6:23Speaker 2: have like truancy warnings? Yeah.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Once They're like, excuse me, but your daughter does need
- 6:28Speaker 1: to come to school. She's a freshman in high school.
- 6:30Speaker 1: It's important that she shows up. I'm like, okay.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Well, then she said her senior year she was like
- 6:34Speaker 2: barely there too, because all she took was choir.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Well, that's on her because we lived next door to
- 6:39Speaker 1: the high school, so that if she was cutting, I
- 6:41Speaker 1: didn't know about.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Well, that's typical of like senior year anyway, though, Yeah,
- 6:44Speaker 2: a lot of my friends were not there.
- 6:46Speaker 1: It is a hallmark of a not shit parent to
- 6:50Speaker 1: not take a kid to school. Yeah, and so that's Christine.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That was also me. I was going through a divorce
- 6:56Speaker 1: and I don't need that from you. Thank you, but
- 6:59Speaker 1: like that's not cool. And Mary even says like that's
- 7:02Speaker 1: causing problems in my way, Leon, because Leon sees that
- 7:06Speaker 1: Aspen doesn't have to go to school, and now Leon
- 7:08Speaker 1: wants to stay home. And I'm like, I'm sorry, absolutely not.
- 7:10Speaker 1: You go to school. That's what school is for.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Also, Leon, you're in the National Honor Society. So if
- 7:16Speaker 2: you want to continue to be in that, you got
- 7:17Speaker 2: to go to school and be a good kid. I
- 7:19Speaker 2: know that because I.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Was in it. And that's just part of the deal.
- 7:22Speaker 1: You've got to go to school. Yeah, who knew.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a law. And then we also see a
- 7:30Speaker 2: Hunter's teacher. We talk about Hunter.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Like I loved mckelti's teacher.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Talking about this is where we learn so funny that
- 7:41Speaker 1: Micheltie wants to be a world famous world fashion designer.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Not just a fashion designer, but a world famous fashion
- 7:51Speaker 1: designer because she's just fascinated by how all these pieces
- 7:55Speaker 1: of fabric just become a shirt. How does it even happen?
- 7:58Speaker 1: What kind of these alchemy? Isn't all it's crazy, Harbrook's
- 8:02Speaker 1: just become a shirt. And then to know that she
- 8:05Speaker 1: actually goes on to sell Lula Row the most trash
- 8:08Speaker 1: bag of all fashions is awesome.
- 8:10Speaker 2: It's amazing, truly awesome. I do love hearing these cringey
- 8:15Speaker 2: teenagers talk about their dreams, because I mean, we all
- 8:19Speaker 2: have these like dumb dreams. Like I wanted to be
- 8:21Speaker 2: a neurosurgeon when I was fifteen, sixteen, and then I
- 8:24Speaker 2: turned eighteen and I was like, oh, I got to
- 8:26Speaker 2: go to.
- 8:26Speaker 1: School for twelve years. Fuck that, No thank you.
- 8:29Speaker 2: No thank you at all. But I know I was
- 8:32Speaker 2: talking like that as a kid. I was like, Yeah,
- 8:33Speaker 2: I love like learning how people's brains were. It's like
- 8:36Speaker 2: just so fascinating.
- 8:37Speaker 1: To me until I have to apply myself and also
- 8:41Speaker 1: get student loans for the next twenty years of my life.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And now I'm here talking about people in a week
- 8:47Speaker 1: girl looking fire though, I mean it, What do you
- 8:50Speaker 1: think I wanted to be when I grew up? When
- 8:53Speaker 1: I was a kid, Oh my god, I don't know.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Take a wild singer kind of. Yeah, I wanted to
- 8:57Speaker 1: be a pastor. Oh my god, I wanted to be
- 9:01Speaker 1: a pastor. It's actually kind of cute though, and I
- 9:03Speaker 1: kind of kind of did kind of ended up. Yeah,
- 9:06Speaker 1: not that this is a church, although it could.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Be, well it would be the other church.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, but we'll talk about it. Only the patrons
- 9:13Speaker 1: brought that out of the business. But I did. I
- 9:15Speaker 1: wanted to be a pastor. I wanted to guide a
- 9:18Speaker 1: flock like lydia plast in the Fire sold out a
- 9:22Speaker 1: radical baby. I love it. But anyway, so they go
- 9:25Speaker 1: from teacher to teacher. We meet all these basic people,
- 9:29Speaker 1: and we learn about their kids and how much they're
- 9:32Speaker 1: thriving in high school. But it's really just an opportunity
- 9:36Speaker 1: for Cody to be on camera and shove their polygamy
- 9:39Speaker 1: down the throats of people who weren't asking.
- 9:42Speaker 2: For really cringey.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Lastly, Yeah, and then.
- 9:46Speaker 2: We get into kind of the more interesting parts of
- 9:48Speaker 2: the episode, where we have Mary getting an email from
- 9:53Speaker 2: Mona about her hobby room and her pantry. So they're
- 9:58Speaker 2: in the process of building their home, designing their homes,
- 10:01Speaker 2: figuring out what they want in their homes, and Mary
- 10:04Speaker 2: wants a hobby room and a pantry and also a
- 10:07Speaker 2: wet bar. But the only way that she can get
- 10:09Speaker 2: those things is if she has a fifth bedroom. Oh no,
- 10:15Speaker 2: Mary has to have more space in her house.
- 10:18Speaker 1: What am I going to do?
- 10:20Speaker 2: What is she going to do?
- 10:21Speaker 1: Because I absolutely need my hobby room. Which was the
- 10:23Speaker 1: first time that I heard about a hobby room. And
- 10:26Speaker 1: can't you do like the rest of us do out
- 10:28Speaker 1: here and just convert one of your bedrooms into your
- 10:30Speaker 1: office or your hobby room. I guess, I guess you
- 10:32Speaker 1: need a hobby room, a separate one at a pantry,
- 10:35Speaker 1: which is awesome.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I mean I would love a pantry, right.
- 10:38Speaker 1: But what she really wants is the wet bar. Uh huh,
- 10:40Speaker 1: because she loves to entertain. I mean, I am so
- 10:44Speaker 1: into entertaining, and I want all of the kids to
- 10:47Speaker 1: feel like they have a place in my house. And
- 10:50Speaker 1: we have so many children, and I want the room
- 10:52Speaker 1: so they can come over and spend the night and
- 10:54Speaker 1: be in my house.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Even though nobody ever comes over to your house.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Nobody even likes you, No one likes. None of these
- 11:01Speaker 1: kids like you because when they become adults, they say
- 11:04Speaker 1: that you abuse them.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Yeah, so they don't want to.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Spend the night in your house. And why do you
- 11:09Speaker 1: need a wet bar? So now let's get into this.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Let's get into it, because I don't understand. Because Janelle
- 11:14Speaker 1: took great pains to tell us last week, and I
- 11:16Speaker 1: think the week before that. The way the Browns do
- 11:19Speaker 1: it is they agree that each wife gets a budget
- 11:23Speaker 1: and it's equal to the other wife. It doesn't matter
- 11:26Speaker 1: if you have one kid or if you have six kids.
- 11:29Speaker 1: All the wives have the same budget.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:32Speaker 1: So Mary wanting this hobby room and this wet bar
- 11:37Speaker 1: presumably exists within her budget her equal portion or share.
- 11:43Speaker 1: So why would Janelle and anybody else, Christine, anybody else
- 11:47Speaker 1: in the family be upset with Mary getting a wet
- 11:50Speaker 1: bar if it's part of her budget.
- 11:52Speaker 2: I don't see this is where we I'm kind of debating,
- 11:55Speaker 2: like whether or not it was part of the budget.
- 11:57Speaker 2: I feel like it's more because Janelle talking about how
- 12:00Speaker 2: she needs to cut back, like, oh, I don't need
- 12:02Speaker 2: a dining room, right, I don't need it, So that's
- 12:05Speaker 2: insinuating that her house. Mary's house is gonna cost a
- 12:08Speaker 2: lot of fucking money. So Janelle of course has to
- 12:11Speaker 2: be the one that makes the sacrifices, and probably Christine too.
- 12:15Speaker 2: But if it is in the budget, then I think
- 12:19Speaker 2: everyone's just bitter about the fact that Mary wants a big,
- 12:22Speaker 2: expensive house and that they don't she deserves it, because
- 12:26Speaker 2: Christine even says, she admits that she thinks that Mary
- 12:30Speaker 2: should have a smaller house.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't actually have a legitimate need for a
- 12:34Speaker 1: large house. You have done child, you don't need all
- 12:36Speaker 1: that shit. No, but this is what gets me wondering
- 12:39Speaker 1: if what Mary's asking for is more than her portion,
- 12:43Speaker 1: because why should it bother Janelle if she's signed off
- 12:46Speaker 1: and agreed that every wife gets their equal portion. What
- 12:49Speaker 1: she even said, like one or two episodes ago, I
- 12:51Speaker 1: don't care what you do with your budget, like, do
- 12:53Speaker 1: what the fuck you wanna do. I'm just concerned with
- 12:55Speaker 1: what I'm doing in my house. So why is she
- 12:57Speaker 1: upset unless is may asking the family to contribute more
- 13:04Speaker 1: toward the wet bar she might be, and toward that
- 13:07Speaker 1: fifth bedroom she might be.
- 13:09Speaker 2: And I mean, she just said last episode or was
- 13:11Speaker 2: it the end of season four where she's like, I've
- 13:13Speaker 2: got expensive taste. I'm grying I've.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Got expensive taste.
- 13:16Speaker 2: They like nice things because I take care of my
- 13:18Speaker 2: things and they last for years because you kids.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Have kids running all over your things like the rest
- 13:23Speaker 1: of these mothers, and that's why their things don't last.
- 13:26Speaker 1: So my feeling is she must be asking for a
- 13:29Speaker 1: bit more in order to get her fucking wet bar,
- 13:32Speaker 1: which is so fun. Now we know that behind the scenes,
- 13:35Speaker 1: Mary probably wants this wet bar because they are into
- 13:38Speaker 1: MLM marketing, and so maybe they host people over to
- 13:41Speaker 1: their house and they pitch them. And I've been unfortunately
- 13:45Speaker 1: involved in some of those pitches and it's a real bummer. Yeah,
- 13:48Speaker 1: But so she's envisioning herself behind this beautiful granite wet
- 13:52Speaker 1: bar pitching somebody towards their MLM market scheme.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Cringe.
- 13:56Speaker 1: But you don't need a wet bar for that. Like,
- 13:59Speaker 1: I have a McMansion of my own, and I had
- 14:03Speaker 1: a wet bar, and I also had an island and
- 14:05Speaker 1: it's redundant. Yeah, and you're a Mormon, and like you
- 14:08Speaker 1: said earlier, you don't drink no, So what are you
- 14:11Speaker 1: serving from your wet bar that you can't serve from
- 14:13Speaker 1: your island exactly? And by the way, esthetically speaking, it's ugly.
- 14:17Speaker 1: That wet bar is basic af it's ugly as furthermore,
- 14:22Speaker 1: get yourself into the house with four bedrooms and then
- 14:25Speaker 1: install your own wet bar. No, for real, you can
- 14:27Speaker 1: put something really nice in there. If you really need
- 14:30Speaker 1: that for yourself, you don't need that to be in
- 14:32Speaker 1: the blueprints. I don't understand why she's fixating on this horseshit.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Because she wants the bigger house. That's the thing. Like
- 14:38Speaker 2: we talked about it. I think a little bit last
- 14:39Speaker 2: episode that these are all based on like the builder's plans,
- 14:42Speaker 2: Like they're not gonna build four separate ultra customized homes
- 14:47Speaker 2: like they have these set plans. I think Mary's picking
- 14:50Speaker 2: the bigger house of the plans because she wants a big, nice,
- 14:54Speaker 2: beautiful house, because she's like Cody in that way, like
- 14:56Speaker 2: she wants this image. She wants to look like she's
- 14:59Speaker 2: got all these nice things. It's like why Cody gets
- 15:01Speaker 2: the fucking stupid lexus from his MLM bullshit gold. Oh
- 15:05Speaker 2: my god, that's convertible and it's amazing. Like they're so
- 15:11Speaker 2: self centered, whereas like Janelle and maybe Christine, like they
- 15:14Speaker 2: don't give a fuck, like, just give me a house
- 15:16Speaker 2: that has enough space for all of my kids. But
- 15:18Speaker 2: the fact that Janelle feels the need to take away
- 15:22Speaker 2: from her house to accommodate Mary and all of this
- 15:25Speaker 2: space that she literally doesn't need is wild to me.
- 15:29Speaker 2: And then we see it even in season eighteen where
- 15:31Speaker 2: Robin's got this fucking mc mansion and Janelle's having to
- 15:34Speaker 2: live in an RV on the property, or rent a
- 15:37Speaker 2: house or just fight to have a casita just so
- 15:41Speaker 2: she has something. It's just it's messed up.
- 15:43Speaker 1: To me, it's very messed up. And I'm just wondering
- 15:46Speaker 1: how Mary in this moment has the audacity to try
- 15:50Speaker 1: to pull the wool over everybody's eyes, because when they're
- 15:52Speaker 1: on the couch, she's framing it like I I have
- 15:55Speaker 1: no choice, Like the only way I can get my
- 15:58Speaker 1: hobby room in my pantry and my whipper is if
- 16:01Speaker 1: we get this fifth bedroom. And so that's what I
- 16:03Speaker 1: have to do. Like what am I supposed to do?
- 16:05Speaker 2: I can't compromise.
- 16:07Speaker 1: How about not get the fifth bedroom, wait a year
- 16:09Speaker 1: or two like the rest of humanity, and install it
- 16:12Speaker 1: yourself at your own expense. I pay for that shit
- 16:15Speaker 1: yourself now. So I don't know the question is being raised,
- 16:19Speaker 1: like do the other wives have to take from their
- 16:22Speaker 1: budget or the family budget in order to subsidize Mary
- 16:25Speaker 1: or is Janelle just pissed and stank faced about the
- 16:29Speaker 1: fact that she doesn't get to have a whip bar.
- 16:32Speaker 1: She doesn't get to have all of these options. She
- 16:34Speaker 1: doesn't even get to have a dining room. But here's
- 16:36Speaker 1: Mary like, oh my god, I want this and I
- 16:38Speaker 1: want that, and I can have this and I can
- 16:40Speaker 1: have that. And is that the foundation of the entire problem,
- 16:43Speaker 1: Because if that's the problem, honestly, and I hate to
- 16:47Speaker 1: say it, everybody but Janelle, you got to get over
- 16:49Speaker 1: that shit, because you all agreed as a family that
- 16:52Speaker 1: everybody gets an equal share and Mary can do what
- 16:55Speaker 1: the fuck she wants with her equal share. But if
- 16:57Speaker 1: Mary's asking for more and say I cannot help it,
- 17:00Speaker 1: I need to entertain and if that's coming from the
- 17:03Speaker 1: family fund, well then yeah, that's a problem.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I think it is coming from the family fund, and
- 17:09Speaker 2: it's coming from Janelle's fund, so that she's getting bitter,
- 17:12Speaker 2: That's what I think. And maybe Janelle's the only one
- 17:15Speaker 2: that actually thinks about saving money or like cutting corners,
- 17:19Speaker 2: so they have a little bit of extra money. Meanwhile
- 17:21Speaker 2: everybody else is just taking the full amount of their
- 17:24Speaker 2: share and just spending it all and maybe adding on
- 17:27Speaker 2: a little bit extra, and that's fucked up. Like these
- 17:29Speaker 2: adults are so irresponsible and they should as a family,
- 17:33Speaker 2: like as a joint family, they should only take what
- 17:35Speaker 2: they need and then save the rest. But they're not
- 17:37Speaker 2: gonna do that because they're dumb. So it's just I
- 17:40Speaker 2: don't know. I think Mary's selfish, as.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I think she's very selfish. I think she knows she's
- 17:45Speaker 1: being selfish, which is why she's victim crying on the
- 17:48Speaker 1: couch about having eight children that she can't actually have,
- 17:52Speaker 1: and how she's making it about the amount of children
- 17:55Speaker 1: versus the amount of resources that she's actually taking. And
- 18:00Speaker 1: I can see why Janelle would be like, just get
- 18:02Speaker 1: a smaller house, Like it's the same builder. Just get
- 18:05Speaker 1: the building plans for the smallest house because that's literally
- 18:08Speaker 1: all you need, and maybe there'll be a little bit
- 18:11Speaker 1: extra so I can have a fucking dining room. Yeah,
- 18:13Speaker 1: or maybe I can get that fifth or that sixth
- 18:15Speaker 1: bedroom because I have nine thousand children, Like why don't
- 18:18Speaker 1: you think about everybody else? Why are you always just
- 18:21Speaker 1: thinking about yourself? That's the thing which Mary knows that
- 18:24Speaker 1: about herself, yep, but she can't admit it because she's
- 18:27Speaker 1: proud af Yep. She wants a what a wet.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Bar to entertain nobody because nobody's gonna come over to
- 18:34Speaker 2: your house, not even Cody.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Yike, yikes.
- 18:40Speaker 2: And then we have Logan's graduation, So it starts off
- 18:47Speaker 2: with everybody being chaotic and disorganized as usual as fuck.
- 18:52Speaker 2: The Browns can never get anything together. Nobody can be
- 18:55Speaker 2: an adult in this family. Cody texts Janelle and tells her, no,
- 19:00Speaker 2: but he knows what we're doing. Can you give us
- 19:02Speaker 2: some details about I don't know the location of the graduation,
- 19:06Speaker 2: what time we got to be there, how long it's
- 19:07Speaker 2: gonna be there. I guess according to Cody, Janelle's not
- 19:10Speaker 2: giving those details out. Do we believe that?
- 19:14Speaker 1: Not necessarily? I mean the way Janelle describes it as
- 19:17Speaker 1: like we've had these conversations. I've kind of told everybody
- 19:21Speaker 1: what it's about. I just assumed everybody knew, but no problem,
- 19:25Speaker 1: here's where you have to be and here's what time.
- 19:28Speaker 1: But it sounds like Cody roder and said this is
- 19:31Speaker 1: all your fault, like we're so fucking disorganized. No, the
- 19:33Speaker 1: reality is you're always disorganized. Every time you go anywhere,
- 19:37Speaker 1: whether it's on vacation or whether you're relocating, you are
- 19:40Speaker 1: getting flats every ten miles. You guys, can't leave on time.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You guys are a mess, and that's just the way
- 19:47Speaker 1: you are.
- 19:47Speaker 2: All the time. So all of the adults besides Robin
- 19:51Speaker 2: are going to the stadium and they're getting there on
- 19:55Speaker 2: time for Logan's graduation. Robin apparently planned to arrive late
- 20:02Speaker 2: because she didn't want to sit there for hours and
- 20:03Speaker 2: hours with King Solomon on her lap crying because he's
- 20:07Speaker 2: a baby. He's a wheeze goat. Yes, so she planned
- 20:10Speaker 2: to be late. Didn't tell everybody else that she planned
- 20:14Speaker 2: to be late because Christine didn't know. Christine at the
- 20:17Speaker 2: graduations kind of mad at Robin because this is a
- 20:20Speaker 2: very important day, the eldest child's graduation.
- 20:23Speaker 1: She even says it. On the couch. She calls Robin out,
- 20:26Speaker 1: which I thought was a thing of beauty. She's like, oh,
- 20:29Speaker 1: I didn't realize that you made a plan not to
- 20:32Speaker 1: be there on time. And it was really shocking to
- 20:34Speaker 1: me because this is a very important day, our little
- 20:36Speaker 1: Logan is graduating. And Robin just sits there on the
- 20:39Speaker 1: couch with her mouth open, like, how dare you bitch
- 20:43Speaker 1: call me out in front of everybody. Now here's the
- 20:45Speaker 1: thing I one hundred percent understand Robin not wanting to
- 20:50Speaker 1: take King Solomon, Who's I think, I don't know, six
- 20:53Speaker 1: or seven months old at this point, Sure, for four
- 20:56Speaker 1: hours to some hot ass stadium with ten thousand people
- 20:59Speaker 1: in attendance and have to wrangle her child. I get it,
- 21:02Speaker 1: she wants to leave a little later but get there
- 21:04Speaker 1: in time. But what I do recall from my time
- 21:08Speaker 1: spent on Reddit, like I've seen this situation come up
- 21:12Speaker 1: before and having like people discuss it, Like a lot
- 21:15Speaker 1: of people think that Robin did this on purpose, that
- 21:19Speaker 1: she showed up late on purpose, and that she kind
- 21:23Speaker 1: of made a spectacle a scene on purpose, not necessarily,
- 21:28Speaker 1: that she missed the graduation on purpose, but that she
- 21:30Speaker 1: wanted to be late to draw attention to herself. I
- 21:35Speaker 1: don't know if I buy that.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I think she wanted to be late because she didn't
- 21:39Speaker 2: want to spend time with everybody there for four hours.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I mean, because graduations are long. Yeah, they're so arduous,
- 21:45Speaker 2: they're so boring. Yeah, they suck, they're so terrible. So
- 21:49Speaker 2: I get like not wanting to be there with the baby.
- 21:51Speaker 2: But just last episode, we met your sister Tara Lee,
- 21:56Speaker 2: who's been babysitting your kids for you. You're right, So
- 21:59Speaker 2: I don't understand why you couldn't have had her babysit. Yeah,
- 22:01Speaker 2: solomn are the rest of.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Your children are Brianna and a rubber rubber' and day?
- 22:06Speaker 2: Like, where are they at? They're not there.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I don't know that I saw them.
- 22:09Speaker 2: I don't think they were there or was it just
- 22:10Speaker 2: the older kids they're at home? I think so, I'm like,
- 22:13Speaker 2: you have babysitters. I'm sure a lot of the other
- 22:16Speaker 2: kids also stayed home because I think some of the
- 22:19Speaker 2: older kids showed up, Like Maddie was there. I think
- 22:22Speaker 2: Leona Hunter Hunter was there. So, like, I'm sure there
- 22:25Speaker 2: could have been other people that could have watched the kids.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Truly wasn't there So truly was being watched by somebody
- 22:31Speaker 2: I don't know who. So the whole excuse that it's
- 22:34Speaker 2: for the kid, that's stupid. We'll get that out of
- 22:37Speaker 2: the way. I think she didn't.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Actually, it's very reasonable. Well, if you have babysitters, true, yeah,
- 22:43Speaker 1: but you do have babysitters, that's true. Like if you
- 22:45Speaker 1: didn't have childcare, If you didn't have child care, you
- 22:48Speaker 1: would not want to spend four hours in a stadium.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I get that. For sure, but you and I had forgotten.
- 22:52Speaker 1: You're absolutely right about Tara. Lease. She's living with Rob
- 22:55Speaker 1: and she could be taking care of the baby and
- 22:56Speaker 1: all of the kids, So like, what is the problem.
- 22:58Speaker 1: But the way Robin raims it when she's talking about
- 23:01Speaker 1: it is she's like, I purposefully chose to hang back,
- 23:05Speaker 1: you know, and and arrive a little later. But then
- 23:08Speaker 1: Mary called me all frantic because she forgot her camera
- 23:12Speaker 1: and she asked me to get my camera and hurry
- 23:14Speaker 1: up down to the stadium, as if that somehow through
- 23:18Speaker 1: a wrench in her plans. And so it screwed her
- 23:22Speaker 1: up because it's your camera, it's in your home. Why
- 23:24Speaker 1: is that like a hard thing to do? But according
- 23:27Speaker 1: to Robin, she gets in her car, she gets in
- 23:29Speaker 1: her hooptie, she gets Solomon in his baby seat, and yeah,
- 23:33Speaker 1: she heads on over to the stadium. But she gets lost.
- 23:37Speaker 1: And I'm like, I'm looking with my own eyes on
- 23:38Speaker 1: the TV at the size of that stadium, and I'm
- 23:41Speaker 1: just wondering, like, how are you getting lost and not
- 23:45Speaker 1: seeing it with your eyes, Like, don't get it.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I'm sure there are signs. I'm sure there's people directing
- 23:51Speaker 2: you where to go. Yeah, like my college graduation was
- 23:54Speaker 2: in the middle of downtown Fort Worth. It was super confusing.
- 23:57Speaker 2: It was in a big, old stadium, but there was signs,
- 23:59Speaker 2: there were people directing people. Yeah, so like, I don't know.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Whatever, she gets got lost.
- 24:06Speaker 2: But the whole camera thing doesn't make sense either, because
- 24:09Speaker 2: Mary was recording on a camera before Robin got there,
- 24:13Speaker 2: recording Logan's name being called, So she had a camera.
- 24:17Speaker 1: So so Robin's making excuses because she left later than
- 24:22Speaker 1: she should have. Then maybe she got lost and she
- 24:24Speaker 1: didn't plan to like try to find the place, and
- 24:27Speaker 1: she didn't know where she was going, and or what
- 24:30Speaker 1: some people think is like she deliberately showed up fifteen
- 24:32Speaker 1: minutes late to cause a spectacle. So everybody turns as
- 24:35Speaker 1: she's walking down the stairs, everyone seated except for Robin.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Queen Robin coming down the stairs with her baby. Yeah,
- 24:44Speaker 1: mad as hell. Oh so she's not happy. That jaw
- 24:47Speaker 1: of hers, it's already a strong jaw, very hard. This
- 24:50Speaker 1: jaw is tight, it is hard. She's pissed off, and
- 24:53Speaker 1: then she brings that fucking energy to everybody who's already discombobulated. Yep,
- 24:58Speaker 1: she brings that energy to everybod buddy, and Cody even says, yeah,
- 25:02Speaker 1: it was like a wet blanket over everybody because Robin
- 25:05Speaker 1: was so unhappy that she missed Logan graduating, and of
- 25:08Speaker 1: course she goes into immediate victim mode, like I love
- 25:11Speaker 1: him so much, okay, and I wanted to see him
- 25:15Speaker 1: walk across the stage.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Whatever, but I missed it. It's so dumb to me too,
- 25:22Speaker 2: because they show up like she wanted to show up
- 25:24Speaker 2: late for his name calling. But I'm like, his last
- 25:26Speaker 2: name is literally brown.
- 25:28Speaker 1: It's at the top of the seat.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Literally at the top, so like it would have been
- 25:33Speaker 2: called right away to begin with. But whatever, these people
- 25:36Speaker 2: are stupid and like Cody even almost miss Logan's graduation
- 25:41Speaker 2: because he's running around with his hair flying looking.
- 25:44Speaker 1: For trying to find her and guide her to her seat.
- 25:47Speaker 2: And even when like he gets back to their spots
- 25:51Speaker 2: and everything after Robin's like pulled up in the parking lot,
- 25:55Speaker 2: like Jane gets distracted and missus Logan's name being called
- 25:59Speaker 2: and she gets emotional by it, and I actually felt
- 26:01Speaker 2: bad for her. She cries, she cries, and I feel
- 26:04Speaker 2: like that's a total valid reaction because this is your
- 26:07Speaker 2: eldest kid, This is the first graduation out of all
- 26:09Speaker 2: of them. Yeah, and you miss his name being called.
- 26:12Speaker 2: She's the only one that misses it too, besides Robin.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Another thing that I noticed was when they were
- 26:20Speaker 1: at Janelle's house, all disorganized, trying to get everybody out
- 26:23Speaker 1: the door. Hunter was doing his hair, She's having a
- 26:26Speaker 1: conversation with Janelle's having a conversation with either Logan or Maddie,
- 26:30Speaker 1: and they're asking where dad is, and she's like and
- 26:32Speaker 1: they're like, at Robin's and she's like, yeah, Robin's. So
- 26:36Speaker 1: notice that Cody's at Robin's house on the eve of
- 26:40Speaker 1: Logan's graduation, So he's not even with Janelle and Janelle's
- 26:44Speaker 1: whole family, all of his kids, with Logan helping that
- 26:47Speaker 1: morning getting everybody together, getting everybody out the door. He's
- 26:51Speaker 1: sending Janelle a text instead getting up her ass because
- 26:54Speaker 1: nobody knows what the fuck they're supposed to be doing.
- 26:56Speaker 1: But he's at Robin's house.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Wow.
- 26:58Speaker 1: And thus the cycle, I mean, it's probably been in
- 27:02Speaker 1: effect this entire time since Vegas, but thus begins the
- 27:06Speaker 1: cycle of Cody conspicuously being with Robin.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Wow. I didn't even notice that. Good catch.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that's really fucked up. Wouldn't I mean, if this
- 27:17Speaker 1: were all like healthy and they were all on the
- 27:20Speaker 1: same page, Like, wouldn't you as the dad, want to
- 27:22Speaker 1: be in the same house with the child that's graduating,
- 27:24Speaker 1: like helping him get ready and helping him get out
- 27:26Speaker 1: the door.
- 27:26Speaker 2: That doesn't make any sense. No, And he's not even
- 27:30Speaker 2: comforting Janelle at during the graduation when she's crying because
- 27:33Speaker 2: she missed his name, Like he literally doesn't give a
- 27:36Speaker 2: shit and doesn't even look at her. So it's just
- 27:38Speaker 2: it's just showing how like he doesn't care about anybody
- 27:41Speaker 2: but Robin and her break Dancing pussy and King Solomon.
- 27:44Speaker 2: And that sucks because your eldest child's graduating and you're
- 27:48Speaker 2: more worried about Robin being late because she's dumb and
- 27:51Speaker 2: chose to be late. M hmm. She chose to late,
- 27:55Speaker 2: that's it. It just sucks.
- 27:57Speaker 1: She either did it because she's dumb and she didn't
- 27:59Speaker 1: plan ahead, which is probably what happened, or she did
- 28:01Speaker 1: it because she wanted all eyes on her, which also
- 28:04Speaker 1: is possible because she's a malignant narcissist.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I think she probably didn't plan to be fifteen minutes laugh.
- 28:09Speaker 2: She probably didn't plan to get lost.
- 28:11Speaker 1: What do y'all think?
- 28:12Speaker 2: Yeah, let us know in the comments, ye, what your
- 28:14Speaker 2: theories are. But yeah, that was all messed up. Everybody's
- 28:17Speaker 2: upset because they were so disorganized. I'm like, get it together.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I mean, how many years have we had children? Logan's
- 28:23Speaker 1: eighteen at this point. You all have been doing this
- 28:25Speaker 1: for eighteen years with your multiple kids going on vacations
- 28:28Speaker 1: because they were just on vacation before he graduates, right,
- 28:31Speaker 1: so they're just back from a week long vacation. You
- 28:34Speaker 1: guys have moved around. You guys know the deal. Yeah,
- 28:38Speaker 1: you know what it takes to caravan this entire family
- 28:41Speaker 1: from point A to point be, Like, why haven't you
- 28:43Speaker 1: figured out a system or a protocol before now, before
- 28:47Speaker 1: a very important date and event to get your shit together?
- 28:53Speaker 2: All these adults and no one's responsible, literally nobody besides
- 28:57Speaker 2: Janelle who's working to provide for this whole family by
- 29:00Speaker 2: now in Vegas. Like, that's so messed up to be
- 29:03Speaker 2: that'd be so frustrated.
- 29:04Speaker 1: And she probably did mention it to Robin, which I
- 29:06Speaker 1: think she says I mentioned it to like some of
- 29:08Speaker 1: the moms, like they should know too, But like she
- 29:11Speaker 1: probably mentioned it to people and just hope that people
- 29:14Speaker 1: would be self starters, write it in their fucking day planner. Yeah,
- 29:17Speaker 1: and know where they needed to be. But no, I
- 29:19Speaker 1: got a handhold. I got to make sure everybody is
- 29:22Speaker 1: doing what they're supposed to be doing. I would be
- 29:24Speaker 1: exhausted too. Just last episode, Janelle's like, what would happen
- 29:27Speaker 1: if I just left? I mean really, what would happen
- 29:30Speaker 1: to this fucking family?
- 29:31Speaker 2: I just I just bounced, see and this whole thing
- 29:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna go uncensored.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Okay, we are back from uncensored. By the way, if
- 29:38Speaker 1: you want to hear our uncensored bits, you have to
- 29:40Speaker 1: be a patron on Patreon, Patreo dogops last Reality TV cringe.
- 29:45Speaker 1: But yeah, like, come on, adults, it get it together.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Incumbent upon you to figure out how to organize your
- 29:52Speaker 1: goddamn selves, even just your pod Janelle, your six kids,
- 29:55Speaker 1: Christing your five kids, Robin your four kids, like, figure
- 29:59Speaker 1: out how to get to places on time. Because we
- 30:02Speaker 1: see in the preview for next week when they go
- 30:05Speaker 1: to hang out with the Dodgers Darkers, whoever they are,
- 30:08Speaker 1: the guy actually says, the only thing that's gonna piss
- 30:10Speaker 1: me off Brown's Brown Family is if you say we're
- 30:13Speaker 1: gonna leave it eight, but we end up leaving it ten. Yeah,
- 30:16Speaker 1: So he puts them on notice immediately, which tells us
- 30:19Speaker 1: and we already knew that this is a pattern of behavior,
- 30:22Speaker 1: that this is the kind of shit that they don't
- 30:24Speaker 1: just do with themselves, but they visit their horseshit on
- 30:28Speaker 1: other people to get it together.
- 30:30Speaker 2: It's so disrespectful and so lame and so immature. Like,
- 30:34Speaker 2: you guys are in.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Your forties, you're of a big age, get it together.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Be an adult. I'd be like, bye, I'll see you
- 30:40Speaker 1: when I see you, and I don't care. I am
- 30:43Speaker 1: detaching for real.
- 30:44Speaker 2: And then after the whole graduation fiasco, then we have
- 30:48Speaker 2: Mary visiting her sister Elaine talking about her infertility issues again.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Because Elaine has also struggled with infertility, but she just
- 30:58Speaker 1: had her own baby, so Mary's there to kind of
- 31:02Speaker 1: have the conspicuous on camera conversation because we for some
- 31:06Speaker 1: reason need to continue to talk about Wait, get the
- 31:11Speaker 1: paddles clear. We need to talk about Mary at the
- 31:14Speaker 1: ripe old age of I don't know, forty forty one,
- 31:16Speaker 1: forty three having another baby with Cody, when we all
- 31:22Speaker 1: know now that Cody didn't want to have this child. Well, Cody,
- 31:26Speaker 1: as he claims it in twenty twenty four, never loved
- 31:28Speaker 1: Mary or any of his otherwise, so he doesn't want
- 31:31Speaker 1: to have this kid. But he still persists in having
- 31:34Speaker 1: this conversation on the couch with Mary about whether she's
- 31:38Speaker 1: gonna say yes to IVF. And I don't understand, like,
- 31:42Speaker 1: help me to understand why Mary has to cry here,
- 31:46Speaker 1: why she has to talk about I'm just so confused.
- 31:51Speaker 1: One day I want to have another baby, and then
- 31:53Speaker 1: the next day I don't know. And I'm just so confused.
- 31:57Speaker 1: And Cody says on the couch, you know, I get that.
- 32:00Speaker 1: It's a big decision, and Mary's like, I don't think
- 32:02Speaker 1: you get it and cries. I'm like, shut the fuck up,
- 32:07Speaker 1: Fuck up lady, for real, goddamn decision and stop torturing
- 32:12Speaker 1: me with your.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Bullshit once again. Be an adult and put your big
- 32:16Speaker 2: girl panties on and make the hard decision.
- 32:19Speaker 1: It's like you're a senior citizen. The answer is no.
- 32:22Speaker 1: The answer is no.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Well, I was just thinking, is she like in perimenopause?
- 32:26Speaker 2: Is she in menopause right now? Like you could maybe
- 32:29Speaker 2: like contributing to like her emotions with it, like the
- 32:31Speaker 2: back and forth of it all.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I don't know. It feels to me performative, like she's
- 32:36Speaker 1: got to put herself in this victim position, like she
- 32:40Speaker 1: likes to be in a victim position, Like I just
- 32:43Speaker 1: people are judging me. Don't want the emotions of it.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Yeah, now you know.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Now she's on the couch talking about her infertility, and
- 32:51Speaker 1: I think she knows right in this moment she doesn't
- 32:53Speaker 1: want another children, another child.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Then just fucking admit it.
- 32:56Speaker 1: No, she wants to stretch it out because she's going
- 32:59Speaker 1: to be the center of attention, and she also gets
- 33:02Speaker 1: Cody paying attention to her, continuing to ask this question. Well,
- 33:06Speaker 1: guess what, Cody is gonna not give a shit. No,
- 33:10Speaker 1: he doesn't care, and I'm gonna stop asking.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Like I said, I think this goes on until like
- 33:15Speaker 2: season seven or eight, because I think she referenced it
- 33:19Speaker 2: in season eighteen where they had like another like conversation
- 33:23Speaker 2: about it, and that was when she officially tells Cody
- 33:26Speaker 2: at like fucking forty five forty six, Yeah, now I
- 33:28Speaker 2: don't want to have a kid. Yeah, think duh, Like yeah, thing,
- 33:32Speaker 2: it's so dumb, like and like I've been saying, like
- 33:35Speaker 2: I understand it's a difficult decision to make initially, like
- 33:38Speaker 2: in season one, season two, Mary, I get it, okay,
- 33:42Speaker 2: Like I understand the indecision. We're in season five now.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Right, what are we doing? And I'm literally tired of it.
- 33:49Speaker 1: The first season you went to Mexico on your anniversary
- 33:53Speaker 1: and we don't have this conversation, my friend, Like, I'm
- 33:56Speaker 1: tired of it. It's it's not interesting to me at all.
- 33:59Speaker 1: But that's the that's the novelty of Sister Wives. It's
- 34:02Speaker 1: really not a very interesting Like the surface, it's not
- 34:05Speaker 1: a very interesting program. Who cares honestly about teacher parent
- 34:10Speaker 1: teacher conferences? I don't care, But like it's the stuff
- 34:13Speaker 1: beneath the layers that we were all so intuitive about
- 34:16Speaker 1: with our monocles. Yeah, sussing out the entire time. But
- 34:19Speaker 1: I'm over Mary yep, and I want her to shut up.
- 34:23Speaker 1: And the wet bar is bothering me. It's an ugly
- 34:25Speaker 1: ass fucking wet bar, basic as fuck ugly, and shut
- 34:31Speaker 1: up about it already, but unfortu shut up the entire
- 34:34Speaker 1: season and maybe next season she's gonna be talking about it.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and I think in this season we get
- 34:39Speaker 2: into more of My Sister Wives closet too, So we're
- 34:41Speaker 2: gonna have a double whammy of Mary and then Robin
- 34:45Speaker 2: with the whole My Sister Wives Closets gonna be so good.
- 34:48Speaker 1: We eaten good in the dump Star so good, getting
- 34:51Speaker 1: so great. So there was the preview with the Dargers
- 34:54Speaker 1: or Darkers. I'm sorry if I'm mispronouncing that this is
- 34:57Speaker 1: a dude who's married to twin sisters, which is not
- 35:00Speaker 1: a fetish at all. Yeah, that's not something you get
- 35:02Speaker 1: unborn at all. Oh yeah, Like, why would you even
- 35:04Speaker 1: think that? That's dirty? Dirty of you to think. And
- 35:08Speaker 1: they talk about their holy polygamous marriage, and I think
- 35:12Speaker 1: the conversation about how they share a kitchen is going
- 35:15Speaker 1: to happen, and then Cody makes a statement in which
- 35:19Speaker 1: he says that I have two wives who consider it
- 35:22Speaker 1: literal abuse to share a kitchen. And then we end
- 35:26Speaker 1: the preview with them on the couch, with Mary crying again,
- 35:29Speaker 1: Jesus fuck crying again, saying I know Janelle feels like
- 35:34Speaker 1: I abused her.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Well, I can see it.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I want to know more.
- 35:38Speaker 2: I can see it.
- 35:39Speaker 1: What is the context, I feel like Mary's a bully.
- 35:42Speaker 1: I think Mary was a bully, especially in those early years.
- 35:46Speaker 1: And so maybe they're going to talk about some of this. Please,
- 35:49Speaker 1: because again I haven't watched these seasons, so I'm excited
- 35:51Speaker 1: to learn more. Tell me more about how you abused Jenda.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I want to hear all about it.
- 35:56Speaker 1: All good stuff, Oh so good?
- 35:59Speaker 2: All right?
- 35:59Speaker 1: Is there any anything else that we need to say
- 36:01Speaker 1: to these beautiful raccoons before we get up on out
