  This week, we're joined by Tammy Bowsa.

  Originally from Argentina, Tammy grew up in Paraguay and
• 0:49
  Mozambique, where her parents served.
• 0:51
  Through the Church of the Nazarene, she studied
• 0:53
  intercultural studies, earned her MBA, and later served with
• 0:57
  Nazarene Compassionate Ministries in Jordan, working
• 1:00
  with local and refugee students. Since May 2025, she has served
• 1:06
  as the Regional NMI Coordinator for Eurasia.

  We are grateful to have Timmy with us this week as she shares

  about the. 5. NMI Priorities.

  Hi, welcome to day three of talking of the five areas of
• 1:20
  impact of NMI. On the first day, we talked
• 1:24
  about prayer and how important it is for us to pray for one
• 1:28
  another, to pray for the lost, to pray for the broken, and to
• 1:32
  continuously be in communication with with the needs of our
• 1:36
  church, not just in our own congregations, but also what is
• 1:40
  happening all around the world. On Day 2, we were talking about
• 1:44
  engaging children and youth, that we believe that missions,
• 1:48
  it's not just for adults, but also that God invites children
• 1:53
  to be part of his mission and also young people.
• 1:56
  So we believe that we should be including young people in our
• 2:00
  NMI councils and different mission activities that we do as
• 2:04
  a church and that we should continuously educate and let
• 2:08
  them be part of the mission of God.
• 2:11
  Today we will be talking about the third area of impact, which
• 2:15
  is caring connection. There are many around the world
• 2:19
  that have left their countries, their families, their commodity
• 2:25
  or their own language, what they're used to, to go and serve
• 2:28
  in a different country where God has called them to serve.
• 2:32
  And so in Caring Connection, we believe that we need to be in
• 2:37
  continuous communication with the people that have said yes to
• 2:42
  the calling of God to go and serve and reach till the ends of
• 2:46
  the earth. So in caring Connection, we are
• 2:49
  caring for our missionaries. We're caring for families or
• 2:54
  individuals that have moved to other areas to serve for the
• 2:58
  Kingdom of God in First Thessalonians 511, it says.
• 3:03
  Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up just as
• 3:08
  you are doing in Galatians 62. It says carry each other's
• 3:13
  burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
• 3:18
  So we believe that missionaries don't stand by themselves, that
• 3:23
  they are supported by ascending church, ascending district.
• 3:27
  And also we want to continuously be in communication with them
• 3:31
  because we know that they're in a country where they don't have
• 3:34
  their families and there are many challenges.
• 3:37
  Sometimes there are sickness, some there are visa paperworks
• 3:43
  and different challenges that they experience and it's very
• 3:47
  important as a church to be supporting them and praying for
• 3:50
  them as they're going through these different things.
• 3:54
  We believe God has called the whole church to be part of the
• 3:57
  mission of God. Even if you don't feel called to
• 4:00
  go and serve in another country, you can be part of taking care
• 4:04
  of people that are serving in another country or contributing
• 4:08
  towards projects in the the countries that they're serving
• 4:11
  or different things. So this is what we do in Care
• 4:14
  and connection. So we have links which connects
• 4:18
  a local district with a missionary serving on the field.
• 4:23
  And so continuously during the year, for two years, the
• 4:27
  missionaries and the districts are in contact with one another,
• 4:33
  sharing about what God is doing in the country that they're
• 4:36
  serving, how the district can pray for their family.
• 4:39
  Normally districts can send letters or sometimes gifts if
• 4:43
  they desire to and it's a great way of encouraging missionaries
• 4:48
  so that they don't know that they are not alone.
• 4:50
  Prayer is very important. You can also invite the
• 4:55
  missionaries that are your Lynx missionaries to share with your
• 4:58
  congregations through Zoom or sending videos.
• 5:02
  Or when they come back home you can invite them to speak at your
• 5:05
  local churches and share what God is doing in the other side
• 5:09
  of the world. We believe that we are doing the
• 5:12
  mission of God all together. Some are called to go, but some
• 5:16
  are called to pray and some are called to give, but we are all
• 5:20
  invited to be in the mission of God.
• 5:23
  Thank you for joining us in this and caring for families that
• 5:27
  have sacrificially left their countries and what could be easy
• 5:33
  to go and serve in another area where God has called them to be.
• 5:38
  In Romans 12 verse four and five it says for just as each of us
• 5:43
  has one body with many members and these members do not all
• 5:48
  have the same function. So in Christ we thought many
• 5:53
  form 1 body and each member belongs to all the others.
• 5:58
  So we are one body in Christ and we would need one another.
• 6:01
  We need constants of communication and support, and
• 6:06
  thank you for being part of this, of caring for what God is
• 6:09
  doing in different parts of the world and supporting the
• 6:13
  missionaries that have said yes to the calling of God.
• 6:16
  And to close, let me pray. God.

  Today we want to pray for all the missionaries around the.
• 6:23
  World for. Everyone that.
• 6:25
  Has said yes to your calling. Even with fear and doubts, not
• 6:30
  knowing what it. Would be like to.
• 6:33
  Go to this new country and serve there.
• 6:36
  But we know that you go before them and that you're making a
• 6:40
  way, and we trust that you will be their strength when they are
• 6:44
  going through situations that are not easy.
• 6:48

  They're doing to expand your Kingdom around the world.

  Also allow us to be their support to pray.

  For their needs to be in constant communication with them

  and encourage them in what they're doing.
