- 0:08Speaker 1: Scarable advice shoot spaces were welcome to the not either
- 0:17Speaker 1: Nice Show. I'm your house ramp shooter. It is Thursday,
- 0:21Speaker 1: which means our dear friend Mark loeper Louvi joins us, Hey, Louvi,
- 0:25Speaker 1: are you there? Lippi louis clapped in and ready to work. Oh,
- 0:28Speaker 1: I like it, Lieblie. I'm told that in a couple
- 0:30Speaker 1: of minutes or maybe a few hours, you're jumping on
- 0:33Speaker 1: a plane to go to l A the daytime. Emmy's
- 0:36Speaker 1: away very excited. You are nominated. All the naughties are
- 0:41Speaker 1: rooting for you. Mark. Hey, let's jump into the show.
- 0:43Speaker 1: We've got so much gossip to get to. What time
- 0:45Speaker 1: is it, my friends tea time? So Gloria esther Fan
- 0:50Speaker 1: is shading Jennifer Loupez amid the Super Bowl halftime comments
- 0:55Speaker 1: that she made. I will explain so during Gloria's appearance
- 0:59Speaker 1: on Watch Happens Live with Andy Cohen. I love that
- 1:02Speaker 1: only Andy can get people to say this shady stuff.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Nobody else wants to say it, but Andy has a
- 1:08Speaker 1: skill in getting people who are not really that shady.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Gloria Estefan is not the first person you think of
- 1:15Speaker 1: when you think of shady comments. But Andy got her
- 1:18Speaker 1: to confess what she really thought about Jennifer Lopez's comments
- 1:23Speaker 1: about the Super Bowl. So Gloria did confirm that she
- 1:28Speaker 1: was meant to appear with j Lo and Shakira and Gloria,
- 1:32Speaker 1: can you imagine all three of them together? But she
- 1:35Speaker 1: went on to say that it's only twelve minutes and
- 1:37Speaker 1: you have to get things on and off really quickly.
- 1:40Speaker 1: She said, so, yes, you could do it with one person.
- 1:42Speaker 1: But Gloria thought they wanted to throw a party, a
- 1:45Speaker 1: big Miami Latino extravaganza, and they try to pack as
- 1:50Speaker 1: much in as possible, then maybe throwing a little bit
- 1:54Speaker 1: of shade at Lopez. Gloria said the following quote, Okay,
- 1:59Speaker 1: and imagine why Jlo would have said if I was
- 2:02Speaker 1: the third performer. So she went on to say, I
- 2:05Speaker 1: literally would have come out and sang shake your body
- 2:08Speaker 1: the Conga song. I love that, But she didn't really
- 2:11Speaker 1: want to do it. This is this is the real reason,
- 2:13Speaker 1: Mark and I love this reason. She didn't really want
- 2:15Speaker 1: to do it because you'd have to go on a
- 2:17Speaker 1: diet in December to look good for the show. Now,
- 2:21Speaker 1: just to remind everybody, Jlo in her documentary, she said
- 2:26Speaker 1: that having two people perform at the Super Bowl, herself
- 2:29Speaker 1: and Shakira, was the worst idea ever. Jlo's manager went
- 2:34Speaker 1: on to say in the documentary, it was an insult
- 2:37Speaker 1: to think you need to Latina's to do the job
- 2:40Speaker 1: that one artist has done historically, A lot to unpack
- 2:44Speaker 1: your mark. First of all, let's talk about Gloria Estefan.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Do you think she was right to sit this one out?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Or do you wish we've seen all three of them
- 2:53Speaker 1: up there? Oh? You know, I love Gloria Estefan, but
- 2:56Speaker 1: they didn't. They don't need to see her. Honestly, I
- 2:58Speaker 1: think we've have been fine for her to come out
- 3:00Speaker 1: like on the commercial break, or maybe she could like
- 3:02Speaker 1: see the national anthem or something fun. But Gloria is right.
- 3:05Speaker 1: She was It was a holiday, she wanted to eat
- 3:07Speaker 1: and enjoy herself, and she did the right thing to totally.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I think so too, I do think. Now let's get
- 3:12Speaker 1: into the nitty gritter. What do you think here about
- 3:15Speaker 1: j Lo, Shaden Shakira. Now I did a little research
- 3:19Speaker 1: here because that's what we do on the Naughty ban
- 3:20Speaker 1: I Show. Shakiras actually sold more records than j Lo.
- 3:24Speaker 1: So some people could argue that Shakira was the biggest star.
- 3:28Speaker 1: We talked about j Loo more. She's in the press more.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Her private life is always something we're buzzing about. So
- 3:33Speaker 1: Jennifer probably gets more attention. But when it comes to musicianship,
- 3:38Speaker 1: it's Shakira that is the most respected. What do you
- 3:41Speaker 1: think that's true? Rob, But let's go back to Jaylo
- 3:45Speaker 1: was turning fifty Hustlers was out. This is a big
- 3:48Speaker 1: moment for j Lo. I don't know that she needed
- 3:51Speaker 1: to have a second person. I really truly believe Jlo
- 3:53Speaker 1: could have held that show on her own, despite Shakira
- 3:56Speaker 1: being an enormous talent, and she is, but Jlo is
- 3:59Speaker 1: enough for me. I am singing in for fourteen minutes.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I'm perfectly satisfied with that. I'm perfectly satisfied. I would
- 4:05Speaker 1: have loved Shakira too, Like I do. Sort of get
- 4:07Speaker 1: the point in now. We reported first, long before j
- 4:10Speaker 1: Lo confirmed this, that there was tensions because they both
- 4:14Speaker 1: had their own catalog and they didn't want to sing
- 4:17Speaker 1: songs that made the other one famous, and they didn't
- 4:20Speaker 1: want to sing neutral songs that they could do a
- 4:22Speaker 1: duet together. In and so they rehearsed totally separate. Inside
- 4:25Speaker 1: has told me at the time when they were in rehearsals,
- 4:28Speaker 1: they didn't speak. Jayla rehearsed her act, Shakira rehearsed her act,
- 4:33Speaker 1: and it felt like two mini shows instead of one
- 4:36Speaker 1: big one. I think I'm with you, Mark. I'm not
- 4:38Speaker 1: going to go as far to say who I would
- 4:40Speaker 1: have preferred that you do, but I do think either
- 4:43Speaker 1: one of these ladies could have done a marvelous job
- 4:46Speaker 1: by themselves. Hey, it brings us to our pole question
- 4:48Speaker 1: of the day. We want to know what you think.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Gloria Restafan is shading Jennifer Lopez amid her comments about
- 4:54Speaker 1: Shakira and the halftime Super Bowl performance. Are you team Glory? Yeah?
- 5:00Speaker 1: I love Gloria or are you team j low does
- 5:04Speaker 1: Now I used to work with Jail, so we've got
- 5:05Speaker 1: to have a full disclosure here. But all I care
- 5:07Speaker 1: about is what do you think? Getes on our Twitter
- 5:10Speaker 1: page at Naughty Nice Rob on Facebook pages Naughty Gossip
- 5:14Speaker 1: and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Lib Be Love. What are you working on? Yeah? So
- 5:19Speaker 1: I have some Hollywood hook ups and break up snows
- 5:21Speaker 1: for your Rob, Michael B. Jordan's has scrubbed Lori Hervey
- 5:25Speaker 1: clean from his Instagram, exactly two weeks after she erased
- 5:29Speaker 1: every trace of the relationship her own account. This is
- 5:33Speaker 1: so messy. Okay, So the two have been dating since
- 5:36Speaker 1: the fall of one and the model's father, who of
- 5:39Speaker 1: course is family feud star Steve Harvey, confirmed, but you
- 5:42Speaker 1: broke up via his morning radio show on June six. Now,
- 5:45Speaker 1: Steve said, quote, look, as long as everyone can walk
- 5:49Speaker 1: away in peace, be friends. I ain't heard nobody say
- 5:52Speaker 1: they busted, no windows or nothing. He's still a cool guy,
- 5:55Speaker 1: you know, from what I know, And I'm pretty sure
- 5:57Speaker 1: they'll be fine. People break up all the time, Rob,
- 6:01Speaker 1: What is going on here? First of all, great impress right,
- 6:04Speaker 1: believe that I was talking to Steve Harvard. I think
- 6:07Speaker 1: a dad is putting a positive spin on this. My
- 6:09Speaker 1: sources are telling me this is ugly. And now the
- 6:11Speaker 1: fact that they've deleted each other from their Instagram, I
- 6:13Speaker 1: think we can say it's confirmed. It is not a
- 6:16Speaker 1: happy split. These two were going to get married, and
- 6:20Speaker 1: I'm hearing that the two of them just couldn't get
- 6:24Speaker 1: it together like they wanted different lives. He was not
- 6:27Speaker 1: willing to put his career on hold. She was sort
- 6:30Speaker 1: of busy establishing herself, and I think they just didn't
- 6:34Speaker 1: think this through. But this is a very sloppy look
- 6:38Speaker 1: when you start deleting pictures because then the scrolls back
- 6:42Speaker 1: on your Instagram, Mark, I look at the last picture
- 6:44Speaker 1: you did, maybe the last three pictures. I'm not scrolling
- 6:46Speaker 1: back six months now. If you broke up with someone,
- 6:49Speaker 1: would you dete? So I will say this is the
- 6:53Speaker 1: problem with blasting your relationships on social media. We were
- 6:56Speaker 1: in your business from months and months and months. I
- 6:58Speaker 1: knew every move they were making, and then sudden he's raised.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I would say, for me, I have pictures of my
- 7:03Speaker 1: eggs on my Facebook. That's where a lot of my
- 7:05Speaker 1: more personal things live, and I didn't delete them. They're fine.
- 7:07Speaker 1: It's like it's it's like deleting history. It's just there.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Who cares. I don't believe in deleting it. I don't
- 7:12Speaker 1: have any excess on my social media cause I've been
- 7:15Speaker 1: with Bruce for so long, but I do have people
- 7:18Speaker 1: on there who I fell out with, or more precisely
- 7:21Speaker 1: have fell out with. Actually know, I never fall out
- 7:23Speaker 1: with anybody. But people do fall out with me. I've
- 7:25Speaker 1: gotta be honest. They might be right to do so,
- 7:27Speaker 1: Like I'm not saying they're wrong, but people have having
- 7:31Speaker 1: I don't delete them. I don't delete and sometimes I
- 7:33Speaker 1: even like looking back and reminiscing about them, like, oh
- 7:36Speaker 1: that was fun. I only have nice memories. I forced
- 7:39Speaker 1: myself to only have nice memories. Hey, Jordan and Laurie,
- 7:43Speaker 1: if you're listening to get Lea Leve, leve you to
- 7:45Speaker 1: get it together. Now this is very controversial. I can't
- 7:48Speaker 1: wait to hear what you think about miss Mark. So
- 7:51Speaker 1: Chris Brown is weighing in after fans claimed that he
- 7:56Speaker 1: is better than Michael Jackson. So earlier of this, Chris
- 8:01Speaker 1: found himself in the middle of this viral debate that
- 8:05Speaker 1: pinned him against Michael Jackson. Now Chris has decided to
- 8:09Speaker 1: put the debate to respite by offering his thoughts on
- 8:12Speaker 1: the matter. Although I'm not sure it's going to end here.
- 8:15Speaker 1: So he wants to stay as far away as possible
- 8:18Speaker 1: from conversations that compare hate to Michael Jackson. He said, quote,
- 8:22Speaker 1: my personal take on this is I couldn't even be
- 8:25Speaker 1: breathing or even be able to sing a song if
- 8:29Speaker 1: that man, Michael Jackson didn't exist. He's light years ahead.
- 8:33Speaker 1: There is no competing with him. I gotta say I'm
- 8:38Speaker 1: with Chris on this one. Whatever you might think of
- 8:40Speaker 1: Michael Jackson, who's also very controversial, you can't denine Michael
- 8:45Speaker 1: Jackson changed pop music. Oh, he totally changed pop music.
- 8:50Speaker 1: And I think there is something to be said for
- 8:52Speaker 1: respecting the people that came before you would opened up
- 8:54Speaker 1: doors for you. And you know, it makes me think
- 8:56Speaker 1: of like Wendy Williams, for example. There's been so many people,
- 8:59Speaker 1: so many gossip bloggers and writers who have come since her,
- 9:02Speaker 1: and they've they've kind of mimicked her, imitated her. But
- 9:05Speaker 1: you've got to give it up to the legends. You
- 9:07Speaker 1: know who paid the way, Absolutely Mimus Press Hilton. It
- 9:10Speaker 1: kills me to admit it. But when we were all
- 9:12Speaker 1: working for magazines, he was the first one that went
- 9:14Speaker 1: out by himself. I knew him. He was working for
- 9:16Speaker 1: Star magazine. Mario is what his name is. He called
- 9:20Speaker 1: himself Marrio at the time, and he quits Star Magazine.
- 9:23Speaker 1: He might have got fired, and then he started this blog,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and I thought, how ridiculous. Who cares. It took off
- 9:29Speaker 1: and now we're all catching up to him. Who is
- 9:32Speaker 1: your mentor the person whose shoulders you're standing on? Loopie? Well,
- 9:37Speaker 1: when it comes to gossip and and podcast, I would say,
- 9:40Speaker 1: Robert's you. You know you got me into this crazy world.
- 9:43Speaker 1: You know we've known each other for a long time.
- 9:44Speaker 1: You helped me get to us weekly. We did this
- 9:46Speaker 1: show together for for a lot of fun years. And
- 9:49Speaker 1: then you know, I look up to you. What you've done,
- 9:50Speaker 1: You've You've really done an amazing job of yourself. Thank you, delicious, delicious.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Now somebody else who's compared to Michael Jackson, and I'm
- 9:58Speaker 1: gonna get us all in trouble. Beyonce, don't touch it.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Don't touch it will get terrible trouble. But I do
- 10:04Speaker 1: because I used to be a publicist. I worked for
- 10:06Speaker 1: j Lo and did he Alicia Keys, Jessica Simpsons, some
- 10:09Speaker 1: big stars. My advice here, and it's a good advice
- 10:12Speaker 1: for all of us. We don't have to be celebrities
- 10:14Speaker 1: to listen to this. Let other people compare you too,
- 10:18Speaker 1: superstars in your industry, and you just not never compare yourself,
- 10:23Speaker 1: and then you always are humble about it. So when
- 10:25Speaker 1: people compare me to I don't know, Andy Cohen or
- 10:29Speaker 1: somebody like that, which I'm not, thank you. I couldn't
- 10:33Speaker 1: possibly compare myself. But if you want to compare me
- 10:37Speaker 1: to him, you're welcome to do it. So I think
- 10:39Speaker 1: this is very clever here of Chris. Let your fans
- 10:42Speaker 1: do all this and then you pretend to be humble. Hey,
- 10:46Speaker 1: moving your long. This is fascinating because I think we
- 10:49Speaker 1: all work with people who are super competitive. Colin Farrell
- 10:54Speaker 1: is talking about when he worked with Tom Cruise on
- 10:57Speaker 1: a movie, and he said Tom was very, very competitive.
- 11:01Speaker 1: M I got the T for you. So, the Steven
- 11:03Speaker 1: Spielberg directed sci fi thriller The Minority Report is celebrating
- 11:07Speaker 1: its twentieth anniversary and now Colin, yeah, it's twenty years
- 11:10Speaker 1: and now Colin is opening up about Tom Cruise and
- 11:12Speaker 1: the experience he had with him. He said, quote, I
- 11:15Speaker 1: was twenty four or twenty five, and it was my
- 11:17Speaker 1: third or fourth film, and I was just going, what
- 11:19Speaker 1: the hell he's like? You know, it's he's very competitive
- 11:22Speaker 1: and very physically engaged. He said. I remember him walking
- 11:26Speaker 1: in onto the set and screaming, are we making an
- 11:28Speaker 1: action movie? Then? Why don't I hear action? Oh, I
- 11:32Speaker 1: could totally hear him say that. I could totally now
- 11:35Speaker 1: since we've heard him have a bit of a meltdown
- 11:38Speaker 1: during the pandemic. Remember those tapes that were released. I
- 11:41Speaker 1: think they were filming a mission impossible. We might have
- 11:43Speaker 1: been top gun and he was screaming at people. Tom's
- 11:47Speaker 1: a lot of energy on these sets. I'm choosing by
- 11:50Speaker 1: words carefully. Have you worked mark with somebody that is
- 11:54Speaker 1: just so competitive You're like, calm down. Yes, So I
- 11:58Speaker 1: think I'm usually the yank to someone's yang, Like I
- 12:01Speaker 1: can be the more quiet or coming, you know, presence.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But I will say at first, you know, when the
- 12:07Speaker 1: COVID story broke, when Tom was screaming about COVID and
- 12:09Speaker 1: the movie said, I was like kind of turned on
- 12:11Speaker 1: by it. I'm like, oh, like this is kind of
- 12:13Speaker 1: like this is hot, like he's he's seeking control. But
- 12:15Speaker 1: now I'm like, you're super crazy and nodded too this
- 12:18Speaker 1: at It's amazing that. I think that's what gets us
- 12:22Speaker 1: in trouble. Some things that we might fantasize about romantically,
- 12:26Speaker 1: dare I even say when they become a reality, they're
- 12:28Speaker 1: not quite a sexy nobody likes to get shouted at work.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I don't like that. I've worked in offices where people
- 12:34Speaker 1: shouted all the time. The most competitive person I ever
- 12:37Speaker 1: worked with was Did He did. He's so competitive. I
- 12:41Speaker 1: think he's mellowed down as he's got older. I haven't
- 12:43Speaker 1: spoken to him in a while, but he was so
- 12:45Speaker 1: competitive at the time. Though this sounds crazy, it actually
- 12:49Speaker 1: made me better at my job. But I believe it.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I believe that if you push like it's that balance.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Isn't that you want to push people and encourage them,
- 12:57Speaker 1: but you don't want to be a bully. Remember that.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Keep that in mind. Everybody, Hey, quickly before we get
- 13:01Speaker 1: a break. I love this story. Kim Kardashian is finally
- 13:04Speaker 1: revealing what she sent to Pete Davidson that sparked their
- 13:08Speaker 1: entire relationship. So Kim admitted that she reached out to
- 13:12Speaker 1: Pete initially. She said they bumped into each other at
- 13:16Speaker 1: the met Ball that fancy ball that they throw in
- 13:18Speaker 1: New York and a winter throws it, and he gave
- 13:21Speaker 1: her some good advice about coming on Saturday Night Live,
- 13:24Speaker 1: so she was going to be honest and l he
- 13:26Speaker 1: gave us some advice and She said that she wanted
- 13:29Speaker 1: to thank him for that, so she reached out to
- 13:31Speaker 1: him and she texted the following quote, Hey, thank you
- 13:35Speaker 1: so much for that advice. It was so much fun.
- 13:41Speaker 1: And then she left it open. She said she wanted
- 13:43Speaker 1: to be casual and open. Now get this. Pete tried
- 13:47Speaker 1: to give Kim his phone number at the met ball,
- 13:52Speaker 1: but because she was wearing one of those ridiculous outfits
- 13:55Speaker 1: with her hands covered at the face cover, she couldn't
- 13:57Speaker 1: write it into her phone, like like put it in
- 14:00Speaker 1: her own phone. It's a mess. But then Kim reached
- 14:04Speaker 1: out to a friend, got Pete's number and said that
- 14:08Speaker 1: very sort of flirirty thank you text, didn't say too much.
- 14:12Speaker 1: And then she admitted to that at first she didn't
- 14:15Speaker 1: really think they'd have a relationship, but she had heard
- 14:18Speaker 1: about Pete's b d E. I did not know what
- 14:21Speaker 1: that was. I do know, now look it up. We'll
- 14:25Speaker 1: give you the first and the last initial big, We'll
- 14:29Speaker 1: leave the D off energy here. I think we all
- 14:32Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. But now they're together and very
- 14:35Speaker 1: very much in love. Mark, do you reach out first?
- 14:40Speaker 1: You know, we have a bit of tea for you
- 14:42Speaker 1: on the story. Okay, So I was at a restaurant
- 14:46Speaker 1: opening two weeks ago, a very exclusive restaurant opening, and
- 14:49Speaker 1: I was at a table and walks over a celebrity.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I can't say who it was, but he set at
- 14:53Speaker 1: a table and just started talking to us, very conversational,
- 14:56Speaker 1: giving us all this tea about who he hangs out with,
- 14:58Speaker 1: and it happens to be friends with Pete Evenson. And
- 15:00Speaker 1: he told me that Pete changed his phone number like
- 15:03Speaker 1: every two weeks. He's very hard to get in touch
- 15:05Speaker 1: with because he's just like he goes up the deep
- 15:07Speaker 1: bend and then he disappears. So I'm kind of shocked
- 15:09Speaker 1: that Kim was even able to get in touch with
- 15:11Speaker 1: him and then keep us going for so long. It's
- 15:15Speaker 1: that's great tape. I'd never changed my phone number. I've
- 15:17Speaker 1: had the same phone number, I think for twenty years.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I would hate to lose my doub but I love
- 15:23Speaker 1: my dog. But let's got all my old friends in contact.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Win back to the question which you avoid? Do you
- 15:29Speaker 1: reach out? If you made a cute boy, you're an event,
- 15:33Speaker 1: someone's smiling, you're smiling bag, do you reach out or
- 15:37Speaker 1: do you wait for them to contact you I've become
- 15:39Speaker 1: very assertive in my older years, and I've reached out
- 15:42Speaker 1: right away I am, and you know, especially a few
- 15:44Speaker 1: drinks and I'll say things are very bold and not
- 15:47Speaker 1: embarrassed any longer. It's I think confidence comes with age.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I think good for you. Say it like you mean,
- 15:53Speaker 1: it's going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:55Speaker 1: be all right, welcome back, and then not even I
- 15:59Speaker 1: share shooting with that, dear friend Mark loop of Hey, Loopy,
- 16:03Speaker 1: let's get to the polls dot Dom, thank you very much.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Yesterday we asked about Kim Kardashian. She waited six months
- 16:09Speaker 1: before she introduced her kids to Pete Davidson. Was that
- 16:13Speaker 1: too soon? Let's have a look, oh said to Sue.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I get it. I mean I don't have children, so
- 16:20Speaker 1: I know you've got to be protective. But I think
- 16:22Speaker 1: when you know, you know, wait a while. Kim did
- 16:25Speaker 1: say she spoke to therapist about this, she got advised,
- 16:29Speaker 1: and I think it's different too when you're in the
- 16:31Speaker 1: public spotlight. Her kids are old enough to go online,
- 16:34Speaker 1: so they knew she was dating Pete. So I guess
- 16:36Speaker 1: at some point they're like, mom, can we meet him.
- 16:38Speaker 1: It's not a big surprise. Why about you, Mark, How
- 16:41Speaker 1: long would it take me to meet your children? I
