Liberals Kill Spirit, Tucker's Antichrist Talk & Cuban Island Intrigue w Squad Member Jayapaul Week In Review · The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson

• 0:00
Speaker 1: Welcome in his verdict with Ted Cruz Weekend Review, Ben
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Ferguson with you, and these are the stories you may
• 0:05
Speaker 1: have missed that we talked about this week.
• 0:07
Speaker 2: First up, you may.
• 0:08
Speaker 1: Not realize that Spirit Airlines could have been saved a
• 0:11
Speaker 1: couple years ago. The Democrats stopped it on purpose. Why
• 0:15
Speaker 1: do they do it? We've got the receipts, and we'll
• 0:18
Speaker 1: explain exactly what liberals were behind destroying another American airline,
• 0:22
Speaker 1: costing thousands of people their jobs. Also, Tucker Carlson's now
• 0:27
Speaker 1: saying Donald Trump is the Antichrist, and then when he's
• 0:30
Speaker 1: called out on it, he says he never said it.
• 0:33
Speaker 2: The problem is it's on video.
• 0:35
Speaker 1: And finally, why is it that there are members of
• 0:38
Speaker 1: the United States Congress that are working on behalf of
• 0:41
Speaker 1: Cuba right now to try to help the regime. We'll
• 0:44
Speaker 1: explain that as well. It's the week in Review and
• 0:47
Speaker 1: it starts right now. Let's talk about another aspect of this,
• 0:52
Speaker 1: and it was the there was a lot of you know,
• 0:55
Speaker 1: fodder online and there was a lot of media reports
• 0:57
Speaker 1: that will maybe America would would give the government, would
• 1:00
Speaker 1: give a bailout, We'd own you know, eighty ninety percent
• 1:03
Speaker 1: of the company, whatever the number was.
• 1:04
Speaker 3: Ultimately that did not happen.
• 1:07
Speaker 1: Explain I hear bailout, and I always get real cringing.
• 1:11
Speaker 1: We've had some that have been really good where we've
• 1:13
Speaker 1: got our money back as taxpayers, but in this scenario,
• 1:17
Speaker 1: there's many that say, you know what, it makes me
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: really nervous.
• 1:20
Speaker 3: It did not happen.
• 1:22
Speaker 1: But can you explain how the government getting involved with
• 1:24
Speaker 1: that and how that works and who's making that decision
• 1:28
Speaker 1: of saying yes or no.
• 1:30
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 1:30
Speaker 4: So this last week there was considerable discussion about the
• 1:34
Speaker 4: Trump administration potentially bailing out Spirit Airlines, and the bailout
• 1:39
Speaker 4: that was being discussed was the federal government would give
• 1:42
Speaker 4: Spirit Airlines five hundred million dollars and in exchange for that,
• 1:46
Speaker 4: the federal government would own ninety.
• 1:48
Speaker 5: Percent of the airline.
• 1:51
Speaker 4: And there were differences of opinions within the administration on that.
• 1:56
Speaker 4: So the Secretary of Transportation, Sean Duffy, was vocally argued
• 2:00
Speaker 4: against that, saying that's a bad idea. Howard Lutnik, the
• 2:03
Speaker 4: Secretary of Commerce, was the one who was advocating this idea.
• 2:08
Speaker 4: I publicly came out against it, and I came out loudly.
• 2:12
  Speaker 4: I sent a tweet a little over a week ago
• 2:15
Speaker 4: that said the following quote, this is an absolutely terrible idea.
• 2:22
Speaker 4: The TARP corporate bailouts were a huge mistake, and the
• 2:27
Speaker 4: government doesn't know a damn thing about running a failed
• 2:32
Speaker 4: budget airline that the Biden administration killed. Now, when I
• 2:38
Speaker 4: said that, I'm the chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee,
• 2:40
Speaker 4: which has jurisdiction over reaviation. When I came out against it,
• 2:44
Speaker 4: that got quite a bit of media attention, and it
• 2:47
Speaker 4: prompted a number of other members of Congress spoke out
• 2:50
Speaker 4: against it after I did so. I will tell you, Ben,
• 2:56
Speaker 4: that was my public statement. I also went week. I
• 3:01
Speaker 4: had dinner with Howard Ludnik. Howard is a friend. He
• 3:04
Speaker 4: and I worked together very very closely. He's the Secretary
• 3:07
Speaker 4: of Commerce, and the Commerce Committee is is the Senate
• 3:12
Speaker 4: committee that has jurisdiction over the Commerce Department. So Howard
• 3:15
Speaker 4: and I had dinner last week, and a good chunk
• 3:18
Speaker 4: of the dinner was spent discussing the potential Spirit bailout.
• 3:25
Speaker 4: And I will tell you one on one with Howard,
• 3:27
Speaker 4: it was just the two of us having dinner. I
• 3:30
Speaker 4: leaned in really hard and said, this is an absolutely
• 3:33
Speaker 4: horrible idea. Corporate bailouts are a bad, bad strategy. They
• 3:39
Speaker 4: were a bad strategy when we did TARP. They're a
• 3:41
Speaker 4: bad strategy when you had the government coming in and
• 3:44
Speaker 4: bailing out giant corporations. But they're particularly bad when the
• 3:50
Speaker 4: government doesn't know a damn thing about the business. And
• 3:52
Speaker 4: so if we'd ended up giving five hundred million dollars
• 3:57
Speaker 4: to Spirit and having the federal government own ninety percent
• 4:00
Speaker 4: of Spirit number one, I believe we would have lost
• 4:03
Speaker 4: our money. In fact, I had said, somewhat cynically, a
• 4:06
Speaker 4: better idea was simply to put five hundred million dollars
• 4:08
Speaker 4: in a pile on the floor, pour gasoline on it,
• 4:11
Speaker 4: and light it, because then at least you'd get some warmth.
• 4:14
Speaker 4: You could like roast marshmallows by it. That would get
• 4:16
Speaker 4: something positive and beneficial from it. But fundamentally, who in
• 4:23
Speaker 4: their right mind thinks the federal government knows anything about
• 4:28
Speaker 4: how you run an airline? How do you set pilot schedules,
• 4:31
Speaker 4: how do you run baggage handling, How do you make
• 4:34
Speaker 4: sure somebody's suitcase that's headed to Pittsburgh doesn't end up
• 4:38
Speaker 4: in Milwaukee? How do you negotiate with pilot unions, with
• 4:42
Speaker 4: with flight attendant unions? How do you ensure safety and
• 4:46
Speaker 4: all of that. The federal government doesn't know a blooming
• 4:50
Speaker 4: thing about it, and it is a really dangerous road. Look,
• 4:57
Speaker 4: there are some voices and some voices within the administration
• 5:02
Speaker 4: that are pretty excited about the federal government taking ownership
• 5:06
Speaker 4: shares in lots and lots of companies. I think that
• 5:10
Speaker 4: is a really bad idea. And Ben, I'm going to
• 5:15
Speaker 4: harken back to when I was a kid, when I
• 5:17
Speaker 4: was in high school, and you may recall I was.
• 5:21
Speaker 4: I was part of a group in Houston that was
• 5:24
Speaker 4: called the Constitutional Corroborators and it was started by this
• 5:27
Speaker 4: nonprofit in Houston called the Free Enterprise Education Center. And
• 5:31
Speaker 4: as high school kids, we studied free market economics. We
• 5:35
Speaker 4: read Milton Friedman and Hayek and Bostiat and von Meses,
• 5:39
Speaker 4: and we studied the Constitution and we ended up touring
• 5:42
Speaker 4: around Texas speaking on the Constitution. And it was five
• 5:46
Speaker 4: high school students. We would set up easels and say
• 5:49
Speaker 4: we'd go to like a Rotary club or a Kawanas
• 5:52
Speaker 4: club or Alliance club, and folks would be sitting there
• 5:55
Speaker 4: having lunch, and the five high school students would set
• 5:58
Speaker 4: up easels and we would write from memory the entire
• 6:03
Speaker 4: Constitution in shorten mnemonic form, and we would write a
• 6:09
Speaker 4: definition of socialism, which is government ownership or control of
• 6:16
Speaker 4: the means of distribution or production. And the reason we
• 6:19
Speaker 4: wrote this, and this is what I was doing at
• 6:21
Speaker 4: fourteen fifteen years old, is if you don't know what
• 6:24
Speaker 4: it is, you can't identify it when you have it. Well,
• 6:28
Speaker 4: the folks who are arguing the federal government should own
• 6:31
Speaker 4: or control the means of production and distribution and economy
• 6:37
Speaker 4: are directly arguing we should adopt socialism for our economy.
• 6:41
Speaker 4: That is a really, really bad answer, and I think
• 6:46
Speaker 4: a budget airline made it obvious to most observers. Look,
• 6:52
Speaker 4: there are limited circumstances, so, for example, in national security
• 6:56
Speaker 4: areas where you're dealing with critical minerals and rare earth minerals,
• 7:00
Speaker 4: where it makes sense to have some government control because
• 7:03
Speaker 4: because you need to be able to ensure that we
• 7:06
Speaker 4: can defend our nation from national security threats. But outside
• 7:11
Speaker 4: that very limited category, it is a really dangerous slippery
• 7:15
Speaker 4: slope to start having the government be a shareholder and
• 7:20
Speaker 4: especially be the biggest shareholder in major companies. That's how
• 7:24
Speaker 4: you lose the competitiveness. How that's how you lose the
• 7:28
Speaker 4: incredible success of the American for enterprise system.
• 7:31
Speaker 2: Yeah, it really is there.
• 7:32
Speaker 1: You know, when things like this happen, I always go
• 7:35
Speaker 1: back to their real people that are affected by it,
• 7:38
Speaker 1: and there's always, you know, people that are out without
• 7:40
Speaker 1: a job today. There's also stories that come out of
• 7:43
Speaker 1: it that I think are amazing that the New York
• 7:45
Speaker 1: Post had this story, and I think it's a great
• 7:48
Speaker 1: way to just wrap this up in a human way.
• 7:51
Speaker 1: It said Spirit Airlines pilot give an emotional sendoff from
• 7:54
Speaker 1: rival airline after his retirement. Flight, which is a huge
• 7:57
Speaker 1: deal when you're a pilot was but amid the shutdown,
• 8:01
Speaker 1: the Spirit Airline pilot received a hero send off with
• 8:04
Speaker 1: the help of another airline. Captain, John Jackson, was scheduled
• 8:09
Speaker 1: to fly one last time for Spirit into Baltimore Washington
• 8:13
Speaker 1: International on Saturday. When they ceased operations and went out
• 8:17
Speaker 1: of business in the dead of the night. Jackson was
• 8:20
Speaker 1: left stranded by the permanent shutdown. He hitched a ride
• 8:24
Speaker 1: with Southwest Airlines in Fort Lauderdale. He rode alongside his
• 8:28
Speaker 1: son who was a first officer. And this was the
• 8:32
Speaker 1: coolest part. It went online viral. They basically Southwest gave
• 8:38
Speaker 1: him the send off that he deserved. Southwest put it
• 8:41
Speaker 1: up on their social media. It went to well over
• 8:44
Speaker 1: one hundred thousand people that responded to it very quickly.
• 8:48
Speaker 1: They showed him in the cockpit with his son. It
• 8:50
Speaker 1: was awesome and I just got to say, even when
• 8:54
Speaker 1: things like this happen, I do love seeing just the
• 8:57
Speaker 1: hearts of Americans and people that do this and gave
• 9:01
Speaker 1: him a send off the Southwest Airlines carrying they went
• 9:04
Speaker 1: under the Water Canyon salute after arriving at BWI. I
• 9:08
Speaker 1: just I tell you it's awesome when you see things
• 9:10
Speaker 1: like that happen. So to that retiring pilot he didn
• 9:14
Speaker 1: get his final flight job, well done to Southwest and
• 9:17
Speaker 1: thanks for making that guy's day special.
• 9:19
Speaker 4: Well good for Southwest that that was the right thing
• 9:21
Speaker 4: to do. And I'll say Southwest is a great Texas company.
• 9:25
Speaker 4: American Airlines was also a great Texas company. You know,
• 9:28
Speaker 4: Texas is is really a critical hub for aviation. And
• 9:32
Speaker 4: I'll say I fly just about every airline all the time.
• 9:37
Speaker 4: I jokingly refer to Southwest as the company plane. Yet
• 9:40
Speaker 4: you know, people ask sometimes they assume senators fly private
• 9:44
Speaker 4: jets all around, and the vast majority of the time
• 9:47
Speaker 4: you fly commercial and you fly coach. And so I
• 9:50
Speaker 4: tell people, I say, oh, yeah, I've got a private jet.
• 9:53
Speaker 4: It's a seven thirty seven, and it's with one hundred
• 9:56
Speaker 4: and thirty five of my closest friends. On Southwest that's
• 9:59
Speaker 4: my private jet. But you know, Southwest I think does
• 10:02
Speaker 4: a great job. And that was a very class move.
• 10:05
Speaker 4: I'm glad they honored the Spirit pilot who was retiring.
• 10:09
Speaker 4: I'm sorry that so many other pilots are now out
• 10:12
Speaker 4: of a job. I think many of them will end
• 10:14
Speaker 4: up getting hired by other airlines. But it's still an
• 10:17
Speaker 4: awful lot of pain and hurt from the disastrous of
• 10:23
  Speaker 4: Biden economic policies.
• 10:24
Speaker 1: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
• 10:27
Speaker 1: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
• 10:29
Speaker 1: from earlier this week. Now onto story number two. Tucker
• 10:34
Speaker 1: Carlson did a sit down interview with The New York Times.
• 10:38
Speaker 1: It was a disaster, and Tucker Carlson got busted line,
• 10:42
Speaker 1: including his accusations that Donald Trump is the anti Christ.
• 10:48
Speaker 1: He also attacks Center Ted Cruz countless times in the interview,
• 10:52
Speaker 1: completely obsessed with him. Senator Cruse and I break down
• 10:56
Speaker 1: this shocking interview and it's everything you need to know.
• 11:00
Speaker 1: Take a listen, all right, Senator, Let's move to Tuger Carlson.
• 11:04
Speaker 1: He did an interview and it couldn't have gotten worse
• 11:06
Speaker 1: for him with New York Times. I've said this before.
• 11:09
Speaker 1: Some disagree with me. I think the demise of Tucker
• 11:12
Speaker 1: Carlson is happening in real time. I think his audience
• 11:15
Speaker 1: is disappearing very quickly. I think these types of interviews
• 11:18
Speaker 1: do an incredible damage to his integrity as character, and
• 11:24
Speaker 1: these interviews just show how unhinged he is, which we've
• 11:26
Speaker 1: been talking about for quite some time. He's also still
• 11:29
Speaker 1: obsessed with you and had something very interesting to say
• 11:33
Speaker 1: about you in this New York Times interview as well.
• 11:36
Speaker 5: Who do you think is more morally repulsive Ted Cruz?
• 11:40
Speaker 5: Who do you think Ted Cruz? Ted Cruz is a
• 11:44
Speaker 5: sitting US Senator who has called for the killing of
• 11:49
Speaker 5: people who did nothing wrong, whole populations who advocated for
• 11:53
Speaker 5: this war. Nick Fuentes is like a kid. He's like
• 11:56
Speaker 5: twenty six or seven. He has no power except his words. Here,
• 12:01
Speaker 5: you have a public official who we pay, who has
• 12:05
Speaker 5: actual power, who's voting for things, who's making policy decisions,
• 12:08
Speaker 5: and those decisions would include in fact, they are focused
• 12:12
Speaker 5: on the murder of people who did nothing wrong, and
• 12:14
Speaker 5: yet no one thinks.
• 12:15
  Speaker 6: It's a big deal.
• 12:16
Speaker 2: Well, it's just totally fine.
• 12:17
Speaker 5: I mean, if there's tape of Nick Flente is saying
• 12:19
Speaker 5: we should kill people because we hate their parents, or
• 12:23
Speaker 5: it's okay to kill children, I would love to see
• 12:25
Speaker 5: the tape because that's disgusting. And that's basically the entire
• 12:29
Speaker 5: US Senate does every single day, and no one notices
• 12:31
Speaker 5: Nick flent has said something naughty that I disagreed with.
• 12:34
Speaker 5: He made fun of things that I don't think I
• 12:36
  Speaker 5: would never make.
• 12:36
Speaker 7: Fuse he's a white nationalist, was denied the Holocaust, and
• 12:40
Speaker 7: what I will say than killing kids from my.
• 12:44
Speaker 6: Understanding of my own.
• 12:46
Speaker 7: You know, I was just in Germany recently, and you know,
• 12:51
Speaker 7: it was such a good reminder that the Holocaust didn't
• 12:55
Speaker 7: start with the gassing of Jews. It started with the
• 12:57
Speaker 7: dehumanization of Jews. It was Lang language that was used.
• 13:01
Speaker 7: And again that is what I couldn't create more.
• 13:05
Speaker 5: And that's why when you have a US Senator, a
• 13:08
Speaker 5: member of Congress, a US ambassador waving away civilian deaths
• 13:13
Speaker 5: as if they don't matter. That's the language of genocide
• 13:16
Speaker 5: which results. And this is the lesson of the Holocaust
• 13:18
Speaker 5: in genocide itself, and it has so the lesson for
• 13:21
Speaker 5: me really watching all of this is that this can
• 13:26
Speaker 5: happen in civilized countries, in all human beings, there is
• 13:31
Speaker 5: the capacity to ignore the evil right in front of you.
• 13:34
Speaker 5: And I'm my point is it's happening right now. And
• 13:37
Speaker 5: my job, they said I have one, I don't really
• 13:38
Speaker 5: have a job, but I just want to remind people
• 13:41
Speaker 5: that were all capable of that, including me, and that we're.
• 13:44
Speaker 6: Watching it right now.
• 13:45
Speaker 5: And if you think that Nick Fuents is a greater
• 13:47
Speaker 5: threat to other human beings than Ted Cruz.
• 13:52
Speaker 8: I would love to know how I can imagine people
• 13:55
Speaker 8: hearing this and thinking you are soft peddling the quintas
• 13:59
  Speaker 8: you are apologizes.
• 14:02
Speaker 5: I'm trying to awaken people to killing of innocence in
• 14:06
Speaker 5: our midst which we are not only encouraged to ignore,
• 14:09
Speaker 5: but really told to ignore on pain of being denounced.
• 14:13
Speaker 5: And I'm just saying no, I'm not doing that.
• 14:17
Speaker 3: Senator Nick foyts a holocaust denier.
• 14:20
Speaker 4: Yeah, but that days even touch it. Let's start with
• 14:24
Speaker 4: the fact that this loan I think he brought me
• 14:27
Speaker 4: up eight or nine times in that interview. Apparently I
• 14:30
Speaker 4: am living completely rent free in his brain, and every
• 14:34
Speaker 4: word he's saying is a brazen lie. I am fifty
• 14:37
Speaker 4: five years old. Never once have I called for the
• 14:39
Speaker 4: murder of innocence. Never once have I called for the
• 14:41
Speaker 4: murder of children. By the way, he claims that I
• 14:43
Speaker 4: do that, He claims that the entire us said it
• 14:46
Speaker 4: does that. And it's just it's at a point where
• 14:49
  Speaker 4: it's a pathological lie. There's no basis in fact, there's
• 14:53
  Speaker 4: no evidence.
• 14:54
Speaker 2: He just says it.
• 14:54
Speaker 4: He just asserts it, and he knows he's lying. He
• 14:58
Speaker 4: doesn't care he's lying. By the way, his defense of
• 15:01
Speaker 4: Nick Quent says, well, nick Quent has said something naughty.
• 15:03
Speaker 4: TI naughty. Okay, here's what Nick Quent has said. He
• 15:06
Speaker 4: said Hitler was right, Hitler was very very cool. I
• 15:08
Speaker 4: agree with Hitler. On Tucker's show, Nickquent has said his
• 15:12
Speaker 4: mission in life is to defeat global jewelry. That's not
• 15:16
Speaker 4: something naughty. That is a rabid Nazi bigot. He also
• 15:21
Speaker 4: said Nickquentes also said that he celebrates Stalin's birthday every year.
• 15:27
Speaker 4: Tucker nodded approvingly. And by the way, Tucker, there's a
• 15:30
Speaker 4: reason why Tucker is celebrating Nick Fuentes. Tucker has gone
• 15:34
Speaker 4: to the point now of embracing Nazis. It's not just
• 15:37
Speaker 4: Nick Fuentes who's an open Nazi. Tucker had had one
• 15:41
Speaker 4: lunatic professor on a show who said that Winston Churchill
• 15:45
Speaker 4: was the villain of World War Two, and another lunatic
• 15:48
Speaker 4: professor on a show who said, there's a good argument
• 15:50
Speaker 4: the Americans should have supported the Nazis in World War Two.
• 15:54
  Speaker 2: No, there's not.
• 15:55
Speaker 4: But Tucker is on a mission, and I believe at
• 15:58
Speaker 4: this point I cannot prove it, but I'm leaf Tucker
• 16:00
Speaker 4: is being compensated as being paid by Cutter or other
• 16:03
Speaker 4: foreign nations. He is apologizing for Islamists, he is apologizing
• 16:07
Speaker 4: for Sharia. He is apologizing for America haters. He is
• 16:10
Speaker 4: attacking Trump every day, he is attacking Israel, He's attacking Jews.
• 16:15
Speaker 4: He knows he's lying about me. But his mission is
• 16:17
Speaker 4: also to normalize Nazis. By the way, one of the
• 16:20
Speaker 4: things he said this week is Graham Plattner, the lunatic
• 16:25
Speaker 4: Democrat nominee or likely nominee, almost inevitable nominee in Maine
• 16:29
Speaker 4: for Senate, who is a self described communist. Graham Platner says,
• 16:33
Speaker 4: I'm a communist and who has not just a Nazi
• 16:36
Speaker 4: tattoo on his chest, but a toten komf, which is
• 16:39
Speaker 4: the tattoo of the SS in the death chambers of
• 16:43
Speaker 4: the concentration camps. You know what, Tucker Carlson said, Oh,
• 16:46
Speaker 4: I want to interview Graham Plattner. I'm sure they do, baby,
• 16:49
Speaker 4: they have matching Nazi tattoos. I don't know what tattoos
• 16:52
Speaker 4: Tucker Carlson said, as Tucker would say, I'm just asking questions.
• 16:55
Speaker 4: But apparently, if you're a Nazi, if you say sighile,
• 17:00
Speaker 4: Tucker wants to elevate you.
• 17:02
Speaker 3: And I got to say it and not just elevate,
• 17:05
Speaker 3: you normalize, you make.
• 17:07
Speaker 4: It go away. And listen, by the way, when you
• 17:12
Speaker 4: lie about people, you notice his whole diatribe about me,
• 17:16
Speaker 4: he provided no evidence what I just listened about, Tucker.
• 17:19
Speaker 4: I can give you the episodes where he said every
• 17:21
Speaker 4: one of those things, those are objective facts. But here's
• 17:24
Speaker 4: so Tucker is now a professional liar who lives without facts.
• 17:29
Speaker 4: And I want you to listen to this exchange. And
• 17:31
Speaker 4: if you're watching on YouTube, it's even better if you
• 17:33
Speaker 4: watch it, because it's not just me. Tucker has decided
• 17:36
Speaker 4: he hates America, he hates Donald Trump, he hates Jews,
• 17:39
Speaker 4: he hates capitalism. He had this other lunatic on his
• 17:42
Speaker 4: show who said that Jesus hated capitalism and Jesus was
• 17:46
Speaker 4: a socialist. He is attacked, he is all right. I
• 17:53
Speaker 4: want you to listen to him being confronted over his
• 17:57
Speaker 4: argument that Donald Trump is the Antichrist. This is what
• 18:00
Speaker 4: Tucker has argued, and when he's confronted with his own words,
• 18:04
Speaker 4: he just flat out lies.
• 18:05
Speaker 5: Listen what I was saying, which is, you cannot mock
• 18:11
Speaker 5: other people's gods and put yourself in their place.
• 18:14
  Speaker 4: Period.
• 18:15
Speaker 5: That is a deal killer for me. That's worse than
• 18:17
Speaker 5: the war with Iran in my opinion.
• 18:18
Speaker 8: Yeah, but I asked, because you know you've been talking
• 18:21
  Speaker 8: on your.
• 18:21
Speaker 6: Show about whether Trump is the Antichrist.
• 18:24
Speaker 5: I have not said that on your show.
• 18:26
Speaker 7: The day after Easter, you noted he did not put
• 18:28
Speaker 7: his hand on the Bible during his swearing ceremony as president.
• 18:31
Speaker 7: You said, and I'm quoting, maybe he didn't put his
• 18:34
Speaker 7: hand on the Bible because he affirmatively rejects what's inside
• 18:36
Speaker 7: that book. And then on a recent show you went further, saying,
• 18:40
Speaker 7: here's a leader who's mocking the gods of his ancestors,
• 18:42
Speaker 7: mocking the God of gods and exalting himself above them.
• 18:45
Speaker 6: Could this be the Antichrist?
• 18:48
Speaker 5: I actually did not say, could this be the Antichrist?
• 18:50
Speaker 5: Here's a leader who's mocking the gods of his ancestors,
• 18:55
Speaker 5: mocking the God of gods and exalting himself above them.
• 19:00
Speaker 5: Can this be the Antichrist? Well, who knows. I don't
• 19:05
Speaker 5: know where that comes from, but I know that those
• 19:07
Speaker 5: words never left my lips because I'm not sure I
• 19:10
Speaker 5: fully understand what the Antichrist is, if there's just one
• 19:13
Speaker 5: I actually tried to understand it. I may have said
• 19:16
Speaker 5: some are asking that. I'm not weighing on that because
• 19:19
  Speaker 5: I don't understand it.
• 19:21
Speaker 6: Just to be to obviously the center.
• 19:24
Speaker 3: He said that like fifteen days ago when the interview
• 19:26
  Speaker 3: took place.
• 19:27
Speaker 4: By the way, he says, I may have said, some
• 19:30
Speaker 4: are asking he didn't say that. She played what he said.
• 19:33
Speaker 4: She played verbatim what he said. He asked, very directly,
• 19:38
Speaker 4: is Donald J. Trump the Antichrist? Look, I'm willing to
• 19:40
Speaker 4: answer that. No, I don't believe President Trump is the Antichrist.
• 19:44
Speaker 4: But but Tucker doesn't live in the world of facts.
• 19:48
Speaker 4: He doesn't live where any words he says matter and
• 19:53
Speaker 4: the words he's saying. So there's good news and bad news.
• 19:56
Speaker 4: The bad news is the words he's saying are having
• 19:59
Speaker 4: really serious negative consequences. He is pushing anti Semitism. He's
• 20:04
Speaker 4: pushing Jew hate every day, like every week his show
• 20:08
Speaker 4: focuses on how the Jews are responsible for everything wrong
• 20:11
Speaker 4: in the world. But he's also pushing America hate. He's
• 20:14
Speaker 4: pushing how America is terrible. He's pushing Trump hate. He
• 20:17
Speaker 4: has said he regrets supporting Trump. He wished Trump's had
• 20:19
  Speaker 4: lost I mean that's.
• 20:20
Speaker 2: Yeah, he said, that's his brother.
• 20:21
Speaker 1: It was like this sad moment where they're like, we
• 20:25
Speaker 1: are we are going to be held accountable for helping
• 20:27
Speaker 1: this man win the White House like.
• 20:29
Speaker 4: The So the good news is Tucker is becoming more
• 20:34
Speaker 4: and more irrelevant each and every day. He's really talented.
• 20:37
Speaker 4: He's a charming, charismatic guy. Even when he's lying to you.
• 20:40
Speaker 4: He's like Obi Wan Kenobi and Star Wars going. These
• 20:43
Speaker 4: are not the drones you're looking for. He just flat
• 20:46
Speaker 4: out lies, but he's charming and good at it. But
• 20:49
Speaker 4: the good news is he is becoming so irrelevant right now.
• 20:55
Speaker 4: And and listen, I hope he has a really nice
• 20:57
Speaker 4: home and cutter. By the way, you may not know this,
• 20:59
Speaker 4: but he'd be that he has bought a home and cutter.
• 21:04
Speaker 4: He also has repeatedly praised the Ayatola, the president of Iran.
• 21:07
Speaker 4: He's praised Maduro, He's praised Mandami. Like, if you're a hitler,
• 21:11
  Speaker 4: if you're a hitler, if you're a hitler lover, if
• 21:14
  Speaker 4: you're a communist, if you're a leftist, if you are
• 21:18
Speaker 4: if you're an America hater, if you're an Islamist, if
• 21:21
Speaker 4: you're an Ayatola, Tucker Carlson loves you. If you're actually
• 21:25
Speaker 4: an American who believes in free enterprise, who believes in America,
• 21:29
Speaker 4: who believes in America. First, Tucker hates your guts and
• 21:32
Speaker 4: his mission is to attack you. And I think that's
• 21:34
Speaker 4: why more and more people are moving away from At
• 21:37
Speaker 4: this point, it's so disconnected from reality that it's just
• 21:42
  Speaker 4: kind of sad.
• 21:43
Speaker 1: Don't forget Share this podcast wherever you can with your
• 21:46
Speaker 1: family and your friends, and I'll see.
• 21:47
Speaker 2: You back here tomorrow. As before.
• 21:49
Speaker 1: If you want to hear the rest of this conversation
• 21:52
Speaker 1: on this topic, you can go back and now the
• 21:54
Speaker 1: podcast from earlier this week to hear the entire thing.
• 21:58
Speaker 1: I want to get back to the big story, number
• 22:00
Speaker 1: three of the week.
• 22:01
Speaker 2: You may have missed.
• 22:02
Speaker 1: All right, Senator, this is a very interesting and just
• 22:05
Speaker 1: weird story. You have a liberal Democratic Congresswoman Jack Howell
• 22:09
Speaker 1: who has defies President Trump to literally go work with
• 22:14
Speaker 1: a foreign country, Cuba, to try to get them oil.
• 22:20
Speaker 1: And I'm pretty sure that if I'm looking at this
• 22:22
Speaker 1: the right way, this could be against the law. What
• 22:25
Speaker 1: she's now trying to do is again advocate for Cuba.
• 22:28
Speaker 4: Right now, well, Ben, let me make a statement that
• 22:32
Speaker 4: I don't want to be true, and I want to
• 22:34
Speaker 4: make the statement and then we're going to assess the
• 22:36
Speaker 4: facts to determine if it's true. Here's the statement. Too
• 22:41
Speaker 4: many elected Democrats in Congress hate America and actively aggressively
• 22:50
Speaker 4: and enthusiastically support the communist enemies of America. Now as
• 22:56
Speaker 4: I say that, listen to someone who loves our country.
• 22:59
Speaker 4: I hate those words. I don't want them to be true.
• 23:02
Speaker 4: I want you to listen to the words of Permeila Jayapol,
• 23:07
Speaker 4: who is a left wing, progressive communist member of the
• 23:12
Speaker 4: Democrat Party from Washington. Listened to what she had to
• 23:16
Speaker 4: say about what she's been doing landing.
• 23:19
Speaker 9: In the January, Trump issued an executive order threatening tariffs
• 23:24
Speaker 9: on any country's supply of fuel to Cuba. This was
• 23:27
Speaker 9: this January, just a few months ago, and oil shipments
• 23:30
Speaker 9: from Venezuela, that's where Cuba had been getting it's oiled,
• 23:35
Speaker 9: were halted after the US operations to kidnap Nicholas Baduro.
• 23:40
Speaker 9: Since January, only one Russian tanker of oil has made
• 23:45
Speaker 9: it to Cuba. In fact, it landed just a couple
• 23:49
Speaker 9: of days before I landed. And one tanker has enough
• 23:54
Speaker 9: oil basically for ten to fourteen days of Cuba's oil needs,
• 23:59
Speaker 9: so it's a very limited amount of time. Now Russias
• 24:02
Speaker 9: said they're going to send another tanker. I was in
• 24:06
Speaker 9: conversations with the ambassadors from Mexico and some other places,
• 24:10
Speaker 9: and I know other countries in Latin America trying to
• 24:12
Speaker 9: figure out how to get oiled their body. It is
• 24:16
Speaker 9: a crisis beyond imagination. Just this past Friday, on me First,
• 24:22
Speaker 9: Trump signed a broad executive order that widens sanctions and
• 24:26
Speaker 9: allows for new penalties similar to what we have for
• 24:30
Speaker 9: Iran and Russia against foreign base and firms that are
• 24:34
Speaker 9: dealing with Cuba. And it also reinforces the ban on
• 24:38
Speaker 9: US tourism. I have called these sanctions an economic bombing
• 24:46
Speaker 9: of the infrastructure of Cuba. It is illegal, it is
• 24:49
Speaker 9: against the war being. You're talking about this in Iran. Obviously,
• 24:51
Speaker 9: to bomb the infrastructure of any country that is against
• 24:55
Speaker 9: international law. This is essentially doing the same thing. It
• 25:00
Speaker 9: is bombing the infrastructure of Cuba with economic sanctions that
• 25:06
Speaker 9: essentially ensure that the infrastructure collapses.
• 25:12
Speaker 1: There's something interesting that she said there. She kept saying
• 25:15
Speaker 1: the kidnap Maduro like it was a crime center. I'm like,
• 25:20
Speaker 1: which I mean this? Like whose side is she on?
• 25:23
Speaker 1: Is that on the side of Maduro and.
• 25:26
  Speaker 2: Cuba?
• 25:27
Speaker 1: Because the way she said it there, she was saying
• 25:29
Speaker 1: like it was a crime what America was doing.
• 25:32
Speaker 4: So listen, there used to be a rule that politics
• 25:37
Speaker 4: ends at our water's edge. I like that rule. I
• 25:41
Speaker 4: liked a time where we said, gosh, Democrats and Republicans
• 25:45
Speaker 4: will disagree, will disagree on how high the top marginal
• 25:48
Speaker 4: tax rate should be, will disagree on some policy questions.
• 25:51
Speaker 4: But when it comes to defending America, when it comes
• 25:54
Speaker 4: to standing with American servicemen and women, when it comes
• 25:57
Speaker 4: to standing up against her enemies, we're going to stand united. Sadly,
• 26:01
Speaker 4: that is not this world Representative Jayapaul, who I've never met.
• 26:05
Speaker 4: She's a very, very left wing. She is part of
• 26:08
Speaker 4: the squad. She is part of AOC and ilhan Omar
• 26:12
Speaker 4: and these extremely left wing House members. Look when she
• 26:18
Speaker 4: says the kidnapping of Nicholas madurea understand, Nicholas Maudua was
• 26:22
Speaker 4: indicted for being a massive narco trafficker. Our FBI came down,
• 26:27
Speaker 4: executed a legitimate arrest warrant. The Delta Force accompanied them
• 26:32
Speaker 4: to carry out that arrest warrant. She describes it as
• 26:36
Speaker 4: the kidnapping. That is language that is identical to what
• 26:40
Speaker 4: every enemy of America would say. The last I checked
• 26:44
Speaker 4: executing a legitimate arrest warrant Nicholas Maduro number one, he's
• 26:48
Speaker 4: a tyrant who's responsible for massive oppression of his people,
• 26:52
Speaker 4: for murder, for torture, for he has destroyed Venezuela, just
• 26:57
Speaker 4: like Hua Chavis has. But you know what, that's not
• 26:59
Speaker 4: what he was indicted for. That's not what he was
• 27:01
Speaker 4: arrested for. He is a huge narco trafficker and he
• 27:06
Speaker 4: has killed thousands of Americans through the drugs he's flooded
• 27:09
Speaker 4: into this country. And her view is Nicholas Maduro is
• 27:12
Speaker 4: the victim. It is the evil American government that dared
• 27:17
Speaker 4: arrest this narco trafficker. So on Cuba, understand she is unambiguous.
• 27:23
Speaker 4: She stands with the Cuban communist government. And I will
• 27:25
Speaker 4: say this, My family was imprisoned and tortured by Cuban communists.
• 27:31
  Speaker 4: I don't take this as cute. I don't take this
• 27:34
Speaker 4: as fun. I get that she's from Washington State. I
• 27:36
Speaker 4: guess there are a bunch of leftists who snapped their
• 27:38
Speaker 4: fingers at yes, yes, yes, Communism is wonderful because they're
• 27:42
Speaker 4: soft and weak and they hate American But I gotta
• 27:47
Speaker 4: say the idea that they are actively trying to smuggle
• 27:51
Speaker 4: fuel into Cuba because their objective is they want the
• 27:57
Speaker 4: communist regime in Cuba to stay and to exist I
• 28:02
Speaker 4: find infuriating. Look, Ben, did you ever have a chance
• 28:06
Speaker 4: to meet my Theo Sonya?
• 28:09
  Speaker 2: Yes?
• 28:09
Speaker 3: I actually did once at an election event.
• 28:11
Speaker 4: Okay, my Theos Sonia my aunt. She's my father's kid's sister.
• 28:16
Speaker 4: I adored her. She was an amazing, spectacular person. She
• 28:21
Speaker 4: passed away earlier this year.
• 28:23
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 28:24
Speaker 4: My nickname, what I've called her my whole life, is
• 28:26
Speaker 4: my Theoloka, which is Spanish for crazy ant. She was
• 28:30
Speaker 4: a fireball. She died at eighty two. She lived a
• 28:32
Speaker 4: wonderful life, a life that I celebrate. She was in
• 28:36
Speaker 4: Cuba after the revolution. She fought in the Cuban Revolution.
• 28:40
Speaker 4: She was tortured in Cuban prisons. When she was dying.
• 28:45
Speaker 4: She lived in Dallas. She was fading away earlier this year,
• 28:49
Speaker 4: and she was on her deathbed. We all knew she
• 28:51
Speaker 4: was going and I told her. It was right after
• 28:53
Speaker 4: Baduro had been arrested. And I told her, I said, Diah,
• 28:58
Speaker 4: we just arrested the Cuba's next Cuba is going to fall.
• 29:05
Speaker 4: And I got to say, the look of joy in
• 29:08
Speaker 4: her face. And there are millions of people in America,
• 29:13
Speaker 4: millions of Cubans, Americans, millions of Venezuelan Americans, millions of
• 29:18
Speaker 4: Chinese Americans and Korean Americans, and everyone who has been
• 29:22
Speaker 4: a victim of communism who has understood listen, then I
• 29:27
Speaker 4: believe communism is the most evil ideology that the world
• 29:31
Speaker 4: has ever produced. There's been no ideology in American history
• 29:34
Speaker 4: and world history that has resulted in more murder, more torture,
• 29:40
Speaker 4: more slavery, more oppression, more poverty, and more misery than
• 29:47
Speaker 4: than than China. And to listen to an elected member
• 29:54
Speaker 4: of Congress, a leader of the Democrat Party saying she
• 29:59
Speaker 4: desperately wants to smuggle fueled in because her objective is
• 30:03
Speaker 4: to save the communist government in Cuba, I gotta say
• 30:07
Speaker 4: it will be an amazing thing. I don't know what's
• 30:10
Speaker 4: going to happen in Cuba, but we have a greater
• 30:13
Speaker 4: opportunity right now than at any point in my lifetime
• 30:15
Speaker 4: to see the communist regime fall. And then here's what
• 30:18
Speaker 4: I want to see happen. I want to see this
• 30:21
Speaker 4: communist regime fall. I want to see a new government
• 30:25
Speaker 4: in Cuba that is democratically elected, that is legitimate. That
• 30:29
Speaker 4: that is just two things that embraces free markets and
• 30:34
Speaker 4: that wants to be friends with America. And let me
• 30:36
Speaker 4: tell you what that will look like if that happens.
• 30:39
Speaker 4: Number one, I would love to see Cuba be this oasis,
• 30:44
Speaker 4: a free enterprise, much like a Singapore or a Hong
• 30:47
Speaker 4: Kong before China took it over. I think it could
• 30:50
Speaker 4: be extraordinary. But number two, Cuba has a massive advantage.
• 30:55
Speaker 4: There are millions of Cuban expats, Cubans who fled Cuba,
• 31:00
Speaker 4: came to America seeking freedom, who if Cuba had a
• 31:05
Speaker 4: free market government that was friends with America, would eagerly
• 31:10
Speaker 4: invest in Cuba. There would be billions of dollars, tens
• 31:13
Speaker 4: of billions of dollars that would be invested in Cuba.
• 31:16
Speaker 4: You would see a mass of capital. Cuba is stuck
• 31:20
Speaker 4: in the dark ages. It's like going to Cuba and
• 31:22
Speaker 4: I've never been. I will go to Cuba when we
• 31:24
Speaker 4: have a free Cuba. I do not wish to go
• 31:26
Speaker 4: to Cube under communism. But Cuba, the cars they drive,
• 31:29
Speaker 4: do you know the cars they drive are from the
• 31:31
Speaker 4: nineteen fifties. It's like the movie The Land that Time Forgot.
• 31:36
Speaker 4: When the revolution happened, the cars stopped. The innovation, stopped
• 31:41
Speaker 4: the food, stop the misery, stop the poverty, everything frozen time.
• 31:46
Speaker 4: And I'll tell you Cuba has some of the most
• 31:48
Speaker 4: beautiful beaches in the face of the planet. If we
• 31:51
Speaker 4: have a free market government that's friends with America, we
• 31:55
Speaker 4: will see this tourist oasis, billions of dollars flooding into
• 32:00
Speaker 4: Cuba and it's just ninety miles off the coast of America.
• 32:03
Speaker 4: And what befuddles man. I want to ask you this, Ben,
• 32:08
Speaker 4: take a minute, get in the mind of a leftist
• 32:12
Speaker 4: congress Wan Premier j Pal Why would you root for
• 32:16
Speaker 4: Cuban communists over America.
• 32:18
Speaker 1: As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with sentater
