- 0:00Speaker 1: Trending.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Now, here's what you need to know.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Election day is one week away, and ballot boxes were
- 0:08Speaker 3: set on fire in Oregon and Washington State early yesterday morning,
- 0:12Speaker 3: with ballots being of course damage are destroyed. Police say
- 0:14Speaker 3: that the arsens are connected and believed to be connected
- 0:16Speaker 3: to a third incident with a ballot box that happened
- 0:19Speaker 3: earlier this month in Vancouver.
- 0:22Speaker 1: US airlines are now required.
- 0:24Speaker 3: To refund passengers for a canceled flight, so this new
- 0:26Speaker 3: rule wanted too effect already on Monday. Now the rule
- 0:29Speaker 3: also requires refunds for flights that are significantly delayed. I
- 0:33Speaker 3: don't know exactly what that means. What's the timeframe on
- 0:36Speaker 3: significantly delayed?
- 0:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it depends on what you got going on. I mean,
- 0:39Speaker 2: sometimes if you're just getting somewhere early, it sucks you're delayed,
- 0:42Speaker 2: but you know I'm missing something. But there are times
- 0:45Speaker 2: where every minute counts.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Oh absolutely, you get the home alone, run into the airport.
- 0:49Speaker 4: We've all been in that situation.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Some airlines previously gave you vouchers to passengers who had
- 0:54Speaker 3: any problems on their flight, but now a new federal
- 0:56Speaker 3: rule changed that and airlines have to give passengers.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Cash refus Okay, I love a little cash.
- 1:02Speaker 2: I feel like in my experience, even when they're canceled,
- 1:04Speaker 2: they go out, they do go out of the way
- 1:06Speaker 2: to make sure it's like you're good for the most part.
- 1:08Speaker 4: Yes, it's Soliday season.
- 1:11Speaker 3: It's almost here, and I love the targets doing this
- 1:16Speaker 3: twenty dollar Thanksgiving meal. They bumped it down five bucks
- 1:19Speaker 3: from last year, and for twenty bucks, it's gonna serve
- 1:21Speaker 3: four people.
- 1:22Speaker 1: It's a turkey.
- 1:24Speaker 3: It's up to ten pounds, green bean stuffing, cranberry sauce, potatoes,
- 1:27Speaker 3: pretty much everything you need.
- 1:29Speaker 2: That's all the big hitters, that's for sure. I know,
- 1:30Speaker 2: for twenty bucks, and it was twenty five last year.
- 1:33Speaker 4: I think so. Yeah, deflation never heard of her.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I mean, this hold meal for twenty bucks. But then
- 1:42Speaker 3: also it's solid.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Some of these drive through some of the things you're
- 1:45Speaker 2: going through, it's like this would be way.
- 1:49Speaker 1: More so Propsta old tarje.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Is it a turkey or are they trying to pass
- 1:54Speaker 2: off at a rotisserie chicken as a turkey?
- 1:58Speaker 3: Okay, hilarious. I always like to buy hole chickens and
- 2:03Speaker 3: my husband air fries them. I just there taste so
- 2:05Speaker 3: much better to me, So I was like, okay, So
- 2:07Speaker 3: I bought one. I think it was an aldie, not
- 2:09Speaker 3: realizing it was like a really small one. So it
- 2:12Speaker 3: was one of those things like imagine buying like a
- 2:13Speaker 3: little a roast that you think is big. But he
- 2:15Speaker 3: took it out of the air fryar and it looked
- 2:17Speaker 3: like a little cornish hen it was.
- 2:19Speaker 4: It was a little too small. A crazy story, it was.
- 2:25Speaker 4: I had to be there.
- 2:25Speaker 2: My husband looked at meat pike and he went, what
- 2:28Speaker 2: happened to the or the chicken?
- 2:31Speaker 4: Why?
- 2:31Speaker 2: It's nuts wild times in our house.
- 2:37Speaker 4: To recap, you were buying a turkey a chicken. To
- 2:42Speaker 4: clarifying chicken.
- 2:44Speaker 2: You thought it'd be pretty sizable, and when that boy
- 2:47Speaker 2: came out of the oven, it was a wire.
- 2:50Speaker 4: It left a lot to be desired. One meal for
- 2:55Speaker 4: our household.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Pretty disappointing when I thought there was gonna be meal
- 2:58Speaker 2: bread for the week.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Back to the store, Amanda goes, all.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Right, weather today is gonna be mostly cloudy.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Hi fifty eight.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Looking ahead at your forecast, we are going to get
- 3:08Speaker 3: some marine through the overnight. There is a slight chance
- 3:10Speaker 3: of some flurries in some areas as it cools down,
- 3:13Speaker 3: but nothing that's gonna stick around. Halloween forecast birth high
- 3:16Speaker 3: as forty five. Maybe a little sunshine, but you're gonna
- 3:19Speaker 3: have to bundle up.
- 3:20Speaker 4: That's no good. It's no good. Tike it a minute
- 3:22Speaker 4: in the morning.
- 3:23Speaker 2: You ever stop and dank it? Maybe it's only me
- 3:25Speaker 2: that has these deep thoughts. But do you ever wonder
- 3:29Speaker 2: why we kiss? Like?
- 3:31Speaker 4: What the heck is that? I guess it's never crossed
- 3:33Speaker 4: my mind.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I just know that it's a it's either a sweet
- 3:37Speaker 3: or intimate act that we've done forever.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I've never really thought about it. Not forever. According to
- 3:44Speaker 2: a new study out of the University.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Of Warwick, a.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Professor has found evidence that we've been kissing for approximately
- 3:53Speaker 2: two to four million years, so somewhere back then it
- 3:56Speaker 2: feels like forever to meet pike. I'm sorry, it's quite
- 3:59Speaker 2: a long time. I mean, just how long this year
- 4:01Speaker 2: is felt to a four million of them?
- 4:03Speaker 4: My god.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Well, evidence supports that kissing actually isn't derived from affection
- 4:09Speaker 2: in humans the way it is now. It actually started
- 4:12Speaker 2: as a lice removal method.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Stop it.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Why was there lice in your lips?
- 4:20Speaker 2: Well two to four million years ago, Manda us humans,
- 4:23Speaker 2: we're a little hairer than we are now, they think.
- 4:26Speaker 4: I yeah, I suppose that's really disgusting.
- 4:28Speaker 2: You're talking like actual hair on the inside of your mouth,
- 4:32Speaker 2: which is discussing, So it would be a grooming than
- 4:35Speaker 2: I picture a cat licking another cat.
- 4:38Speaker 4: That's what humans were doing.
- 4:39Speaker 2: They were walking around licking each other and having to
- 4:41Speaker 2: get the lice out of the inside of our mouth.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you're kind of ruining kissing. Maybe forever.
- 4:48Speaker 2: We'll just think about it when you're settling in tonight
- 4:51Speaker 2: and Nick Nicko lean's over for his nightly smooch.
- 4:54Speaker 3: And I'm thinking there could be lice in this mouth,
- 4:58Speaker 3: this big hairy mouth at some point.
- 5:00Speaker 4: No, I'm kidding.
- 5:01Speaker 1: That's just gross. It's gonna be hard mouth.
- 5:04Speaker 3: No, I'm saying if it was, because I mean, he
- 5:07Speaker 3: obviously grooms, right, but he is a hairy man. So
- 5:13Speaker 3: had we not in twenty twenty four been in a
- 5:15Speaker 3: situation where he was grooming, he could have been.
- 5:18Speaker 4: A wild beast. I'm sorry.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I mean, all the hair and girls, aren't they like
- 5:23Speaker 1: really beasts looking?
- 5:24Speaker 4: Who are you talking about? Wildebeest? Are you talking about Nick?
- 5:27Speaker 2: I'm going to a little confused. So we think Nick
- 5:30Speaker 2: in a past life might have been a wilde beast.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I'm saying he because he's so hairy and all of
- 5:36Speaker 3: that that if we weren't up with grooming the way
- 5:40Speaker 3: we are now, he could possibly have had all of that.
- 5:42Speaker 4: You know what I mean? What does he shave the
- 5:44Speaker 4: inside of his mouth? What do he mean is he?
- 5:46Speaker 4: I don't know what.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Why would you be hairy in your mouth now and
- 5:50Speaker 1: not then.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Because of I illusion I'm not saying. See, I feel
- 5:54Speaker 4: like it had something to do with, like.
- 5:55Speaker 2: You suspect Nick, if he wasn't so on top of
- 5:58Speaker 2: his manscaping, he might be harry on the inside of
- 6:01Speaker 2: his mind.
- 6:01Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 6:02Speaker 3: I'm just wondering, Like it doesn't have to do with
- 6:04Speaker 3: us brushing our teeth.
- 6:05Speaker 4: All I know things were doing.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Is he says he's going to be in the bathroom
- 6:09Speaker 2: for a while, the door closes, I hear some noises.
- 6:12Speaker 4: I don't know what he's doing. It like get a
- 6:14Speaker 4: minute in the morning. I know Amanda stills the seat.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Let's see, so you're staying there together.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Giselle is expecting her third child after her boyfriend Joaquin Valente,
- 6:26Speaker 3: who she's been dating since only.
- 6:29Speaker 4: A year before her and Tom.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Only last summer.
- 6:32Speaker 3: The forty four year old supermodel confirmed she's expecting. This
- 6:35Speaker 3: is all close source saying that they're excited about this
- 6:39Speaker 3: new baby, this new chapter. They're focused on creating a
- 6:42Speaker 3: peaceful and loving environment for their family. Now, remember they
- 6:45Speaker 3: were first spotted this jiu jitsu instructor and Giselle in
- 6:49Speaker 3: November twenty twenty two on a Costa Rica.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Trip with the kids. It was a tournament.
- 6:55Speaker 3: There was that wasn't then there was the Remember how
- 7:01Speaker 3: terrifying that was? I mean it was just brutal, Like
- 7:05Speaker 3: the entire Tom Brady roast felt like it was about
- 7:07Speaker 3: Giselle and this hues it.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Jud did you say it was terrifying? It was some
- 7:12Speaker 2: of the things that they were saying. I was like, oh, man,
- 7:14Speaker 2: like if that was me in a relationship, I would
- 7:16Speaker 2: be mortified. Well it makes I mean, how long ago
- 7:19Speaker 2: was the roast? Does that was back in the well?
- 7:22Speaker 2: And I don't know because it was live, so that
- 7:24Speaker 2: would have been back in the spring. I'm wondering though
- 7:26Speaker 2: she was pregnant at that time, because she's pretty far
- 7:29Speaker 2: along right now, isn't she.
- 7:30Speaker 4: I don't think so. I thought I heard she was
- 7:31Speaker 4: like five ish months along.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Really, because she must have done a couple of photo
- 7:36Speaker 3: dumps on social media that were from in this summer.
- 7:39Speaker 3: She just wasn't really showing because everything is kind of
- 7:42Speaker 3: from the chest up.
- 7:44Speaker 1: You can't really tell.
- 7:45Speaker 3: She was spotted yesterday in public and you could maybe
- 7:47Speaker 3: kind of see a little bit of a bump.
- 7:49Speaker 2: But bottom line, not a good look for jiu jitsu
- 7:52Speaker 2: instructors everywhere. I mean, you just can't trust him now,
- 7:55Speaker 2: Oh stop, you can't.
- 7:56Speaker 3: I'm happy for her if she's happy and the whole
- 7:59Speaker 3: fan I'm mishappy and they're in love.
- 8:03Speaker 4: You do you? You two? Yeah?
- 8:05Speaker 2: I feel for Tom though, I mean, I don't care what,
- 8:08Speaker 2: no matter what. It's just weird.
- 8:09Speaker 4: It's weird when your actually has a baby in general, and.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Well that and the fact that it was also.
- 8:15Speaker 2: His juse it to instructor for a long time, Yeah,
- 8:19Speaker 2: I bet he. And he also probably feels like he
- 8:21Speaker 2: got ripped off because like, you know, you're probably paying
- 8:23Speaker 2: the same and it's like, jeez, why is Sense only
- 8:26Speaker 2: seemed to be helping my wife out here? I would
- 8:29Speaker 2: like a pointer, Sense come help, come show me how
- 8:32Speaker 2: to do the oh the roundhouse, he's he's only over
- 8:36Speaker 2: there work doing private sessions with my wife.
- 8:40Speaker 4: What the heck? Well?
- 8:41Speaker 2: And then the kids involved too, like you're now you're
- 8:44Speaker 2: like with my kids, my wife and me, and now
- 8:46Speaker 2: you're a baby daddy to that is a lot to
- 8:49Speaker 2: take in. You feel safe with them though at home
- 8:53Speaker 2: should have been an intruder.
- 8:57Speaker 4: All right.
- 8:57Speaker 3: It has been a year, which is very hard to believe,
- 9:00Speaker 3: since Matthew Perry passed away. His family yesterday was opening up.
- 9:03Speaker 3: This is what his mom had to say.
- 9:06Speaker 5: I'm a very lucky woman, but there was one glitch.
- 9:11Speaker 5: There was one problem that I couldn't I couldn't conquer it.
- 9:16Speaker 4: I couldn't help them. That's really sad to hear. Isn't
- 9:20Speaker 4: that just gut wrenching.
- 9:21Speaker 2: It is like she has this great life and she
- 9:23Speaker 2: acknowledges that, but there's just yeah, there's nothing you can do.
- 9:27Speaker 2: You know, I know, probably a kind of person that
- 9:29Speaker 2: just likes to fix things and feels like, you know,
- 9:31Speaker 2: that's just kind of.
- 9:32Speaker 3: A mom in general. That's what the role you take
- 9:34Speaker 3: on for your kids. Yeah, that feeling. His sister also
- 9:37Speaker 3: had something to say, even.
- 9:38Speaker 5: When he was struggling in dark times. We were always
- 9:42Speaker 5: proud of him. We were always proud of the fact
- 9:45Speaker 5: that he kept fighting and that he made it a
- 9:50Speaker 5: big focus of his life to help other people.
- 9:54Speaker 3: And Jennifer Anderson yesterday she just had a sweet, simple post.
- 9:58Speaker 3: It was a bunch of pictures of the two of
- 10:00Speaker 3: them and she just said one year, and she tagged
- 10:02Speaker 3: the Matthew Perry Foundation, which of course is upholding his
- 10:05Speaker 3: commitment to help those who are struggling with addiction because
- 10:08Speaker 3: they know that that is still helping numerous people.
- 10:10Speaker 4: But it is just so sad. Yeah, it is a
- 10:13Speaker 4: year crazy.
- 10:14Speaker 3: And Nick Cannon discussed his insecurities when he was married
- 10:17Speaker 3: to Mariah Carey.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Listen, I would lay up at night thinking like, is
- 10:23Speaker 4: this who I am? Yeah? I'm Mariah's man.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:26Speaker 4: Is that what my life is supposed to be? There's
- 10:29Speaker 4: none wrong waiting?
- 10:30Speaker 1: Well, there was something wrong with it.
- 10:32Speaker 4: And I forget.
- 10:32Speaker 3: He was so young. I think he was only what
- 10:34Speaker 3: twenty two, twenty three when him and Mariah got together.
- 10:36Speaker 3: She was well, probably in her thirties then, right, yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 3: probably upper thirties. But he just said, I just wasn't
- 10:43Speaker 3: comfortable with it. She had such a dominant presence. I
- 10:46Speaker 3: always felt like I was taking the backseat. She's been
- 10:48Speaker 3: rocking this alpha female for so long. He just never
- 10:53Speaker 3: felt secure in the relationship. But he obviously goes on
- 10:55Speaker 3: to say the woman is not human, she's a gift
- 10:57Speaker 3: from God.
- 10:58Speaker 1: She's amazing. Glad they had kids together.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Yeah, it feels like he's praising her.
- 11:03Speaker 2: He's been pretty open about like, if she were to
- 11:06Speaker 2: take him back, he would go back with her. Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 2: I think I remember him saying that absolutely, But I
- 11:10Speaker 2: don't think now, with like the eight kids in that situation,
- 11:14Speaker 2: it's very appealing to her.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Sadly, I think eight, you're you're underestimating.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Well, the two are from because he's at ten, right
- 11:22Speaker 3: or is he at twelve? He might have broke he
- 11:24Speaker 3: might've hit the one sadly passed away.
- 11:27Speaker 4: He just kind of stopped counting at double digits. Don't
- 11:31Speaker 4: just seriously in the morning.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Well, it's that time, man, Thursday, It's Halloween, And I
- 11:36Speaker 2: feel like one of the big reasons people like Halloween
- 11:38Speaker 2: is they we.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Just like to be scared a little bit.
- 11:42Speaker 2: We're just saying, once in a while, it's good to
- 11:44Speaker 2: feel something. Well, they just did a little research on
- 11:47Speaker 2: what exactly our biggest fears are and they went state
- 11:51Speaker 2: by state. So currently we sit here in Fargo, North Dakota,
- 11:56Speaker 2: where I guess our biggest fear is winter, the cold.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I think I think we're quite ready for winter. I mean,
- 12:03Speaker 2: of all the states, we're the ones that you don't know,
- 12:05Speaker 2: it's still fearful for me. I know. Well, no, actually
- 12:09Speaker 2: the number one fear in North Dakota and South Dakota,
- 12:12Speaker 2: and it's actually the number one fear across the country, cared.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I guess the most common one, and it's really understandable.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Spiders are snakes.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I Nope, not quite death, oh god, scared of dying. Wow,
- 12:25Speaker 2: we're going like way deep. Okay, that's the only one
- 12:28Speaker 2: that's super deep because it's about as deep as it gets.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Correct.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I mean I really don't even think we I think
- 12:34Speaker 2: we sort of understate how serious of a thing that is, right,
- 12:38Speaker 2: I mean, it's like right, it should be number one,
- 12:41Speaker 2: not even close well number two, like for example, in
- 12:44Speaker 2: states such as you know, Oregon and Iowa, enclosed spaces
- 12:51Speaker 2: like the claustrophobia.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I don't have it too bad.
- 12:57Speaker 3: It would, you know, it would have to be a
- 12:59Speaker 3: circumstance like, for instance, again getting very morbid. But if
- 13:02Speaker 3: I were and I watch a lot of movies, if
- 13:05Speaker 3: I were locked in like a coffin or something that
- 13:07Speaker 3: would give me, I would freak out. But that would
- 13:09Speaker 3: be claustophobia on top of panic, you know. But if
- 13:15Speaker 3: I was just in a small room, I'd be like, Okay,
- 13:17Speaker 3: I don't think that bothers.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Me too much.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I mean, nobody loves being you know, like, did you
- 13:21Speaker 2: ever on the playground grown up? Maybe this more of
- 13:23Speaker 2: a boy thing, but you ever get doggy piled? Doggy pile? Yeah,
- 13:28Speaker 2: I mean I remember the old doggy pile. I kind
- 13:30Speaker 2: of forget about it, but I mean it's horrible. This
- 13:33Speaker 2: were a bunch of people just pile on top of
- 13:35Speaker 2: and they're all laughing, yeah, because they hundred pounds of weight.
- 13:39Speaker 4: I mean, it really is a horrifying thing.
- 13:41Speaker 2: And you're screaming and you're trying to let them know like,
- 13:43Speaker 2: oh my god, I can't breathe gosh.
- 13:46Speaker 3: You bringing this up though, is pretty traumatizing because I
- 13:49Speaker 3: kind of forgot about the doggy pile?
- 13:50Speaker 4: Is that still a thing?
- 13:51Speaker 2: I hope not. That should be just straight up band
- 13:54Speaker 2: from playgrounds. Did you ever see I told you about
- 13:57Speaker 2: this story. It's his guy that he was. It was
- 14:00Speaker 2: like in Colorado where he was like doing where you
- 14:03Speaker 2: go down in the caves pretty much, and he got
- 14:05Speaker 2: stuck and like the tiniest most narrow he was upside down,
- 14:09Speaker 2: stuck in this cave.
- 14:09Speaker 4: There was no way out.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and they couldn't get to him, no, And it
- 14:13Speaker 2: was like thirty six hours this guy was upside down
- 14:15Speaker 2: and eventually just you know, all the blood rest is
- 14:18Speaker 2: to your head and you have a heart attack.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Going back to the playground.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Yeah, please, an inner tube slide, like any sort of slide,
- 14:24Speaker 3: and then when people would try to stop in the middle,
- 14:27Speaker 3: and then if somebody, if you were in the middle
- 14:30Speaker 3: of that, that would give me a little bit of
- 14:32Speaker 3: anxiety because it's like get out of here, like.
- 14:34Speaker 4: And it's gross and it's stinky and there's just oh
- 14:37Speaker 4: and then you know what people used to do down
- 14:38Speaker 4: those slides, like after school. I know, Okay, disgusting. What
- 14:42Speaker 4: is Minnesota? You didn't bring up Minnesota's fear a man,
- 14:45Speaker 4: it's also fear of death if you can believe in God.
- 14:47Speaker 2: And there's a few other states that have like fear
- 14:49Speaker 2: of spiders made the list, which is crazy because spiders,
- 14:51Speaker 2: to me, it's not even close compared to snakes, which
- 14:55Speaker 2: made the list a couple of different states.
- 14:56Speaker 3: And you make fun of me because spiders and snakes
- 14:58Speaker 3: don't even get me. For me, it's rodents, like any
- 15:01Speaker 3: sort of like mice, especially Oh.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Gosh, really those. I don't think that's compared to snakes.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I will just I will absolutely run, literally run and
- 15:12Speaker 2: scream like a child snake. Really, yes. But the other
- 15:17Speaker 2: day I had to open up at my parents' place.
- 15:20Speaker 2: You know, like the big tank in the back, the
- 15:22Speaker 2: gas tank, there's a lid on it. I opened this
- 15:24Speaker 2: lid up and there was like thirty mice just making
- 15:28Speaker 2: the life of it.
- 15:29Speaker 4: They all scattered. I was a little startled just because
- 15:33Speaker 4: something moved, but I was not.
- 15:35Speaker 1: See that's gonna That's not gonna work for me.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Other popular ones include the fear of failure. Oh wow, yarring,
- 15:42Speaker 2: fear of heights. I'm definitely a fear of heights guy too.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It depends on the situation.
- 15:49Speaker 3: When we were in Colorado a couple of weeks ago,
- 15:51Speaker 3: we went up a mountain or whatever, and there was
- 15:53Speaker 3: no guardrail and I'm fine, but you could tell, like
- 15:56Speaker 3: my kids were kind of like, oh.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Boy, And that's the same way to react. Yeah, because
- 16:01Speaker 4: some people.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I remember we were in Italy and there's a lot
- 16:04Speaker 2: of a lot of like bridges, so like a lot
- 16:06Speaker 2: of tourists just checking out these big bridges and people
- 16:09Speaker 2: sitting on the ledge because it's a big wide ledge,
- 16:13Speaker 2: but just sitting with their feet dangling over the under it.
- 16:16Speaker 3: It's a seat you go out because you're trying to
- 16:18Speaker 3: get a cool picture or whatever it may be.
- 16:20Speaker 2: They weren't even gonna pick I mean, sure they probably
- 16:22Speaker 2: took one, but they're just chilling, just hanging out. I'm like,
- 16:25Speaker 2: you're one like bout of you know, what are they vertigo?
- 16:29Speaker 2: Like you could just get dizzy all of a sudden
- 16:31Speaker 2: and just fall. That's how you want to go?
- 16:34Speaker 4: Is it work? It's just stupid. It's not worth it. No.
- 16:37Speaker 2: No, Going back to the beginning of the conversation, I
- 16:39Speaker 2: can't state how serious dying really is. I mean, in
- 16:43Speaker 2: the morning, Big ninety eight point seven, Today's variety, Pike
- 16:46Speaker 2: and a Mandy in the morning.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Well, good morning.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Whether today is gonna be mostly claudy, high of about
- 16:50Speaker 3: fifty eight, and then we're gonna start cooling down.
- 16:52Speaker 1: There is a chance of some showers of the overnight.
- 16:54Speaker 3: There is a slight chance that maybe a couple of
- 16:57Speaker 3: flurries could hit the ground, but nothing that's gonna stick around.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Good, well until it does. Until it does, we can
- 17:03Speaker 2: only have it not stick around for so long. I
- 17:05Speaker 2: know we're coming off such a nice winter. It's just
- 17:08Speaker 2: I think everybody's just a little has like the last
- 17:10Speaker 2: little nervous, like, what's God even out right?
- 17:13Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 17:13Speaker 3: And I thought, is it Lanina is supposed to hit,
- 17:16Speaker 3: so it's supposed to be and I've heard mixed reviews
- 17:19Speaker 3: that it's going to be just super cold but not
- 17:21Speaker 3: a lot of snow. Or is it the opposite, a
- 17:23Speaker 3: lot of snow and not super cold. I guess BIG's
- 17:25Speaker 3: a question, what would you rather have?
- 17:27Speaker 4: Ooh, that's a good one. I think I do.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Oh, so I missed last winter, not that there was
- 17:34Speaker 3: It was nice to be able to go to the
- 17:35Speaker 3: park year round and that kind of stuff, but like
- 17:36Speaker 3: we didn't get to sled at all, We really didn't
- 17:39Speaker 3: ice fish, Like, there was just not much to do
- 17:41Speaker 3: in that realm, right, So I think I would rather
- 17:43Speaker 3: have snow as long as it's nice enough to be
- 17:45Speaker 3: out and play in it.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just it. I think I'll take the snow too.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Is annoying as it is getting up in the morning
- 17:51Speaker 2: and having to shovel and driving through piles of snow,
- 17:55Speaker 2: like cars are just skiing around you trying to Christmas shop.
- 17:58Speaker 4: But it's just that bitter cold when it's well below zero,
- 18:02Speaker 4: that's just brutal. I mean, obviously none of them.
- 18:04Speaker 2: You like, you just can't be outside really, but at
- 18:07Speaker 2: a cert like twenty degrees feels pretty dang nice in
- 18:09Speaker 2: the winter.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Yeah, even zero, I mean, as ridiculous as that sounds,
- 18:12Speaker 3: as long as there's no wind, which is typically the
- 18:16Speaker 3: biggest factor around here.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Yeah, one or two days annually there's no win here,
- 18:21Speaker 2: so enjoy them when you get them. But already this weekend,
- 18:24Speaker 2: you know, it's another just sign of the winter. And
- 18:27Speaker 2: the time's changing because literally it is the end of
- 18:30Speaker 2: daylight saving time. So remember you got a truck right
- 18:33Speaker 2: the fall back at two am. It will go back
- 18:36Speaker 2: to one am, which means you get the extra hour
- 18:39Speaker 2: of sleep.
- 18:40Speaker 3: But that messes you all up, it really does, I
- 18:45Speaker 3: mean in a good way, right, I guess yes and
- 18:48Speaker 3: no when it gets dark earlier, because we already have
- 18:50Speaker 3: early to bedtime, our house shuts are down pretty early.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Wait and what time you go into bed?
- 18:56Speaker 3: The last couple nights, it's been like winding down by
- 18:59Speaker 3: six thirty crashing by seven.
- 19:01Speaker 4: That's crazy. I know.
- 19:03Speaker 2: This is a lot of families are like starting to ask, well,
- 19:05Speaker 2: what should we have for dinner at that time?
- 19:07Speaker 1: Which is wild to me.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Or they don't even have volleyball games or basketball games
- 19:11Speaker 3: or anything until eight nine o'clock. Some of these people
- 19:14Speaker 3: are bringing their kids to sports at you know, nine
- 19:17Speaker 3: o'clock at night.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Absolutely what they say, the best way to deal with
- 19:21Speaker 2: it so you can avoid like the change is to
- 19:24Speaker 2: gradually move your stuff up. So it sounds like you've
- 19:27Speaker 2: kind of been doing that, like dinner, bedtime. Just move
- 19:29Speaker 2: the routine slowly.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Kids, four thirty today or eaten and you're in.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Bed at five. We forgot to slowly do it.
- 19:38Speaker 2: So we're gonna do it all in one night, all right,
- 19:41Speaker 2: And it's it sucks because it gets it's already getting
- 19:45Speaker 2: dark so early. But then when you're doing that now
- 19:47Speaker 2: it's just like you work and then when you're done
- 19:50Speaker 2: with work most people anyway, it's you know, it's just dark.
- 19:53Speaker 4: It just sucks. It's just depressing. It really is.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Until you kind of get used to it, it gets
- 19:58Speaker 3: to be very, very depressing, especially when you add the
- 20:01Speaker 3: snow and everything in on it. So you just got
- 20:03Speaker 3: to find joy in other places like cozy it just
- 20:05Speaker 3: has a fireplace, or putting lights up, maybe Christmas early.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Did you see Jelly Roll's wife Bunny. She said she's
- 20:14Speaker 3: like ready to put up the Christmas tree even before
- 20:16Speaker 3: Halloween or even this weekend, and he's like, no, you
- 20:20Speaker 3: can't put it up until after Thanksgiving.
- 20:22Speaker 4: So that already.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Oh that classic conversation, classic combos, already having it before Halloween.
- 20:26Speaker 2: This is a weird mix, Like that's you know, you
- 20:29Speaker 2: can't have Christmas and Halloween unless you're Jack Skeleton?
- 20:32Speaker 4: Am I right? What?
- 20:33Speaker 2: You didn't get that reference? No, Jack Skeleton? You don't
- 20:36Speaker 2: know who Jack Skeleton is? Not a clue? Oh boy,
- 20:39Speaker 2: how embarrassing is this? I'm talking to you listening because
- 20:41Speaker 2: you're shaking your head around, going, how the heck should.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I know who Jack Skeleton is?
- 20:46Speaker 4: Iconic? Yeah?
- 20:47Speaker 2: Are you going to make me google this? So I
- 20:49Speaker 2: go ahead and look him up. I want to see
- 20:50Speaker 2: you look at his photo and tell me if you still.
- 20:53Speaker 4: Don't you mean Jack Skelington. Sorry, oh my god, Oh
- 20:56Speaker 4: does it change it for Yeah, of course I know
- 20:59Speaker 4: Jack a minute in the morning.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Well, it's interesting to me, Amanda, that it was determined
- 21:05Speaker 2: what the most popular wedding song of all time?
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yes, I feel like that's pretty easy. I could be wrong.
- 21:13Speaker 4: How would you say so?
- 21:14Speaker 2: I mean we've all been to a million weddings at
- 21:16Speaker 2: this point in our lives, right, and yeah, I mean
- 21:18Speaker 2: as a wedding DJ, like you play a lot of
- 21:20Speaker 2: the same songs because people love them, people know them,
- 21:23Speaker 2: they're popular.
- 21:24Speaker 3: There was just such a huge chunk and I think
- 21:26Speaker 3: my uh stepparents, like my mom and my stepdad, I
- 21:31Speaker 3: know they had it. I know my aunts, Like it
- 21:33Speaker 3: was a huge chunk of.
- 21:36Speaker 2: To clarify it, this is not like a first dance cracks.
- 21:39Speaker 2: This is not like a ballad like you're oh our
- 21:41Speaker 2: wedding song. No, this is like just wedding reception banners.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Oh yeah, crushing me. Can I finish my thought?
- 21:48Speaker 4: Then?
- 21:49Speaker 2: No?
- 21:49Speaker 4: It has nothing to do with what would know you?
- 21:51Speaker 1: But it was Brian Adams. Everything I do I do
- 21:52Speaker 1: it for you.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean that was just like that was
- 21:56Speaker 3: it And now it's probably Ed Sheeran.
- 21:58Speaker 2: It's like those two songs cheering. That's even dust at
- 22:01Speaker 2: this point. Really, I mean, you know what here it is.
- 22:04Speaker 2: It's like ten years ago. It feels like yesterday, Thanks Mike. No,
- 22:09Speaker 2: now there's all these other ones. No, man, it is
- 22:11Speaker 2: not bro and that, to be fair, that's not even
- 22:13Speaker 2: the best Brian Adams ballad Heaven.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Yes, every day of the week, everything right, I do.
- 22:19Speaker 4: But as far as wedding anyway, So.
- 22:21Speaker 2: These songs were based off of a surveys with brides
- 22:24Speaker 2: and it taken from Wedding Playlist to find the most
- 22:27Speaker 2: popular wedding song of all time and number two, so
- 22:30Speaker 2: we got the top ten. I mean there's some heavy
- 22:32Speaker 2: hitters on here, all of which I can confirm are
- 22:34Speaker 2: gonna be bangers every time you play them.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I mean you just can't go wrong with like mid
- 22:40Speaker 2: to late early twenty ten R and B rap like
- 22:44Speaker 2: flow Ride of Black Eyed Peas right right now, that's
- 22:47Speaker 2: just crushing because it's nostalgic for like, let's say you
- 22:49Speaker 2: got a twenty five year old bride, she was a
- 22:51Speaker 2: kid when these songs are hit hits, right.
- 22:54Speaker 3: But then your aunts and uncles are probably like, oh, yeah,
- 22:57Speaker 3: I was in the.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Club, Yeah I member nine, Shut up and Dance by
- 23:01Speaker 2: Walk the Moon, although that one's kind of man at
- 23:03Speaker 2: this point. Crazy in Love by Beyonce, man, that's going on.
- 23:06Speaker 2: That's that's twenty plus years old.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Now see now I don't need you to give dates
- 23:10Speaker 3: because I'm starting to feel real old.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I know, Crazy in Love he is almost twenty years old.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I was older than that. Crazy Love probably came out
- 23:18Speaker 2: in two thousand and three with Beyonce and.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Jay Z, and that was a year I graduated.
- 23:22Speaker 2: So to give you an idea, how long ago that
- 23:24Speaker 2: was Marry You Bruno mars Oo, I mean Marry You
- 23:29Speaker 2: by It's just like it's a good song, but you
- 23:31Speaker 2: know it's just about getting married, so that definitely helps. Yeah,
- 23:34Speaker 2: I don't it's not a dance floor phylla by any
- 23:37Speaker 2: means you got I Got a Feeling by the Black
- 23:40Speaker 2: Eyed Peas, which is just kind of cheesy at this point.
- 23:42Speaker 1: It is, but when you hear it, it's still kind
- 23:44Speaker 1: of like it sets the tone.
- 23:46Speaker 2: But number five and this has been I mean, I
- 23:48Speaker 2: think going back to the seventies September Earth Wind and five.
- 23:52Speaker 3: This is when the grandparents and everybody. You gotta get
- 23:55Speaker 3: the whole fambody.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I just if I'm djaying wedding, I like to start
- 23:59Speaker 2: the dance with this, because you're right. It's good for grandma,
- 24:01Speaker 2: it's good for kids. Everybody knows you get everyone. Hi
- 24:04Speaker 2: makes the noise for the new mister and missus Johnson, Yes,
- 24:10Speaker 2: and everybody is doing the same little jib shaking their shoulders.
- 24:15Speaker 2: It's one of those songs like I don't like to dance,
- 24:17Speaker 2: but a good dancer, but I can dance really.
- 24:19Speaker 4: Like cheesy to this, and it feels right. It just
- 24:21Speaker 4: feels right and.
- 24:21Speaker 3: You don't feel like you look ridiculous.
- 24:23Speaker 4: It's fun. It's up there with the Chicken dance. I'm kidding.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Are people still doing the chicken dance? Nobody?
- 24:29Speaker 1: When there's a bunch of kids around, I'll.
- 24:31Speaker 4: Only do it.
- 24:32Speaker 2: And it's funny because I'll ask, like brides and grooms,
- 24:34Speaker 2: what songs do you not want to hear it? And
- 24:36Speaker 2: that's number one. People just hate the Chicken dance, but
- 24:39Speaker 2: it's it's for kids. It is early in the dance.
- 24:42Speaker 2: All the adults are staying around drinking. If I got
- 24:44Speaker 2: seven five year olds running around, like, yeah, I'm gonna
- 24:47Speaker 2: do the chicken that kids, I got a playto?
- 24:50Speaker 4: Who's you know? Making my job fun right now?
- 24:51Speaker 2: I'm sorry Dan and Tim are over drinking by the bar,
- 24:54Speaker 2: but I got some kids here. I got to entertained.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Top four, we got mister Brightside from The Killers.
- 25:00Speaker 4: You do not like this song?
- 25:02Speaker 1: I never have.
- 25:04Speaker 4: I don't know why you're talking to the wrong guy.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Then, because this and it's grown in popularity, it's crazy,
- 25:10Speaker 2: like if you're downtown Saturday, we're down there for the
- 25:12Speaker 2: pub crawl. Like if this comes on on the touch
- 25:14Speaker 2: tunes or like my band Low Standard still plays it.
- 25:18Speaker 4: People it's universally universally.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Loved it, just like for a wedding dance.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Why like, wait, they don't have to be love songs.
- 25:27Speaker 1: No, I know, but it's I just also it's like
- 25:29Speaker 1: it's not dance.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Maybe this is like it's like people are just drinkingcer
- 25:33Speaker 2: It's a drunk, sing along, rock out kind of song.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Maybe that's it, okay.
- 25:36Speaker 2: And then still standing in the top three, and I
- 25:39Speaker 2: think it probably will be forever. Oh yeah, this is
- 25:43Speaker 2: always like you got the early part of the dance
- 25:46Speaker 2: where it's a little bit of everything older stuff, and
- 25:48Speaker 2: then when the turning point of the night, this is.
- 25:50Speaker 1: What if you're gonna hang or no, yeah, this.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Is now we're partying when you play this.
- 25:55Speaker 1: So one, yes, this is like okay, I'll have another round.
- 25:59Speaker 2: And then the final top two we've got of course
- 26:01Speaker 2: this one dancing Queen. Yeah.
- 26:08Speaker 4: You don't get out there with the girls for dancing queen.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I mean, I'm sure if I've hit, if I've hit yeah,
- 26:14Speaker 2: dancing Queen, I'll probably be sticking around for absolutely. And
- 26:17Speaker 2: there's a little dance to it. Is it from Mama Mia?
- 26:20Speaker 2: Is that a movie?
- 26:21Speaker 4: There is?
- 26:21Speaker 1: And yes, I don't know it. Maybe that's why.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I love seeing the ladies get out there with the
- 26:25Speaker 2: little choreographed dance. Oh man, number one, most popular wedding
- 26:29Speaker 2: song of all time.
- 26:30Speaker 4: You've been shuffle? Nope, it's very popular. Macarena Nope, it's
- 26:36Speaker 4: a stipid line dance.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Okay, because for me, out of all the line dances,
- 26:41Speaker 3: if you give me the electric slide, I'm gonna boogie woogie,
- 26:44Speaker 3: And that is my favorite of all times.
- 26:46Speaker 2: I feel like that one got pushed out with Cupid
- 26:49Speaker 2: shuffle out like the wobble.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Well, I forgot about the wobble. Gosh, I am I
- 26:54Speaker 4: have not.
- 26:54Speaker 1: This is make me realize I haven't been out and
- 26:56Speaker 1: about in a long time.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Well you have you gone to a wedding because I'll
- 27:01Speaker 2: really here's a hard thing about the wobble As a DJ.
- 27:03Speaker 2: That song is like five and a half minutes, and
- 27:06Speaker 2: so it's the same thing over and over. If you're
- 27:08Speaker 2: out there dancing, I just feel bad. I'm like, this
- 27:10Speaker 2: is a long time.
- 27:11Speaker 1: You gotta chop it or like fade it out right.
- 27:13Speaker 4: But people are still enjoying.
- 27:15Speaker 3: It, you know, because some people are still picking up
- 27:17Speaker 3: the moves four minutes.
- 27:18Speaker 4: It takes four minutes, yeah, exactly. You might.
- 27:20Speaker 2: There might be a grandma going like, oh I can
- 27:22Speaker 2: wabble baby, wobble baby. It's funny to see people like
- 27:24Speaker 2: kind of looking around trying to figure it out. But
- 27:27Speaker 2: you know, it gets to the point where it seems
- 27:29Speaker 2: like there's zombies, like I'm just like the bad scientist
- 27:33Speaker 2: controlling these zombies who are just forced to do the
- 27:36Speaker 2: wobble for five minutes. This perspective, it is, but it's
- 27:40Speaker 2: hard to fade out when people are into it. You know,
- 27:42Speaker 2: the number one dance song of all time, Mada.
- 27:45Speaker 4: It's a good.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Yes.
- 27:49Speaker 4: When Whitney comes in with this high pitched like only
- 27:51Speaker 4: SHEI could do.
- 27:53Speaker 3: I mean, now this is when the girls are like,
- 27:55Speaker 3: it's almost like a weird skip to the dance floor,
- 27:58Speaker 3: Like you don't just walk to the day on floor.
- 28:00Speaker 1: You have this like sprut skip.
- 28:02Speaker 4: And their hands are up, the fingers are there.
- 28:05Speaker 2: We go, Yeah, I want to dance with Somebody by Winnie,
- 28:09Speaker 2: who's the most popular wedding song of all time.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Oh, I love it.
- 28:13Speaker 4: It is good.
- 28:16Speaker 3: And then you started it here, so now I'm not
- 28:18Speaker 3: there's no way we're gonna get to the part where.
- 28:20Speaker 2: We gotta stop. We gotta talk for thirty seconds before
- 28:22Speaker 2: the chorus comes out.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I mean, it's kind of worth it.
- 28:27Speaker 4: We lost her too soon, didn't We.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Really really sad, But I am glad this is back.
- 28:32Speaker 3: At least it's a song in the nineties, making me
- 28:35Speaker 3: feel better that I knew this song, because now I've
- 28:37Speaker 3: gotten to a point where people are playing stuff that
- 28:39Speaker 3: I have no why.
- 28:41Speaker 2: I everybody with Somebody too good, And that's why it's
- 28:59Speaker 2: the most song of all time.
