Seeking God's Counsel in Decisions
In this message from Joshua chapter 9, the preacher examines how the Israelites examined the Gibeonites' evidence and personal benefits through their own senses rather than seeking the Lord's counsel, leading them to make a league they should not have. He warns against trusting human wisdom or fleshly desires in decisions and urges believers to exercise caution, acknowledge God in all ways, seek His Word and Spirit, and pray for direction, using New Testament examples like Acts 15 to show how the early church approached decisions together in prayer and Scripture.
