- 0:19Hello, and welcome to episode 231 of the All Systems Go sports
- 0:25Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 0:29I'm your host, Josh Applebaum. What's going on everyone?
- 0:37Happy Thirsty Thursday, our work week is coming to an end.
- 0:41And guess what? I can smell, I can smell it.
- 0:44I can taste it. I can see it, I can feel it.
- 0:46March Madness right around the corner.
- 0:48So I want to talk today to start off the pot.
- 0:50And by the way, I do have another 3 pack of college sweats
- 0:53for you guys tonight, including an early game of 530 game
- 0:56Eastern Time that will hit on. Try to get this this out kind of
- 0:59a little bit earlier than usual so you can have some time to
- 1:01listen to the breakdown, but three plays overall. 1 is a
- 1:05regular just regular season game here.
- 1:07The other two are conference tournaments.
- 1:09So 3 pack overall. Let's try to go 2 in one eek out
- 1:12a winning night also mention real quick, because it's a
- 1:15Thursday. I jump on every Thursday night.
- 1:17Visen live tonight, which is hosted by two of my favorite
- 1:21people in the world, Patrick Maher and Dustin Swedelsen.
- 1:24So you can listen on SiriusXM channel 82.
- 1:27That's with the Mad Dog Network, but also if you didn't know, you
- 1:30know I also am a Visen sports betting analyst.
- 1:33If you ever interested in learning about Visen or you want
- 1:37to get access to the bet splits which Visen offers or you just
- 1:40want to listen to Visen now that they're back on SiriusXM, that
- 1:43is channel 158. So I look forward to jumping on
- 1:46Patrick Show here tonight at 8:00 PM.
- 1:48Before we dive in our sweats for tonight and recap last night, I
- 1:51wanted to mention a couple things in terms of brackets,
- 1:54because if you have logged into Rhythm recently, if you haven't
- 1:58done it, go download the rhythm map.
- 1:59I say it every day, but you got to do it.
- 2:01I know a lot of you have. I know a lot of you guys have
- 2:03been really enjoying rhythm, but if you haven't yet, time to
- 2:06download Rhythm and get a basically a leg up an advantage
- 2:09as we're going into March Madness.
- 2:11But with that being said, if you log into your rhythm account,
- 2:14which by the way does work on both death desktop and tablet.
- 2:18I use it a lot on my cell phone, of course.
- 2:20But no matter how you log in, right in the middle of the
- 2:23homepage, there's going to be a big orange square.
- 2:26And it's got a beautiful message.
- 2:27It says NCAAM March Madness brackets are here.
- 2:31Request your bracket now. Choose from up to three models
- 2:34to build it for. So if you haven't done it yet,
- 2:36request your bracket. This is just going to get you
- 2:39excited for the tournament here and you can basically, you know,
- 2:42just follow the bracket that'll be AI generated through the just
- 2:46recommended, you know, basically the classic rhythm best bet
- 2:49model. Or you can use some of your NCAA
- 2:51models. If you think, hey, March
- 2:53Madness, you know, I noticed teams that, you know, hit their
- 2:55free throws and don't get in foul trouble or don't turn it
- 2:58over or out rebound their teams. You can weight those criteria
- 3:02and create your own model. So just get yourself excited.
- 3:04Obviously the bracket isn't here yet.
- 3:06We got to go and finish up all the conference tournaments, but
- 3:09you can now get a leg up by just, you know, seeing a bracket
- 3:12that's filled out. Maybe think about some teams
- 3:14I've been thinking about. So guys, I want you all to
- 3:18download or quote UN quote, request that bracket and Rhythm
- 3:21will spit it out to you. Now, on the topic of brackets, I
- 3:24know we're getting ahead of ourselves a little bit because
- 3:26we still again got to go through the conference tournaments and
- 3:28Selection Sunday, But I wanted to just mention real quick how
- 3:32to build a contrarian bracket because we want to kind of get
- 3:34out ahead of this. You know, if you've been
- 3:36grinding with me for years and years at this point, this is
- 3:39probably going to be something you've heard of a million times,
- 3:41but a contrarian bracket is kind of a different approach to March
- 3:44Madness. So we'll recap this.
- 3:46I'll go over it again when the, you know, obviously the March
- 3:49Madness is actually officially here, but I want to kind of get
- 3:52you guys thinking about filling out your bracket.
- 3:54Now, let me ask you a question. First off, when you get your
- 3:57bracket, your beautiful bracket meant maybe you do it online,
- 4:00maybe you're old school like me. You print it out and fill it out
- 4:03with a pen and a, you know, piece of paper and a pen.
- 4:05Regardless, when you get your bracket, what's the first thing
- 4:07you do? You start on the outside, right?
- 4:09You start going through round of 64, pick your teams, then go in
- 4:13round of 32, go in Sweet 16, go in get get yourself all the way
- 4:18to a champion in the middle. That's what 99% of people do
- 4:21filling out their bracket. When you create a contrarian
- 4:24bracket, though, I'm going to get ready, I'm going to blow
- 4:26your minds ready. Are you listening?
- 4:28You start from the middle and work your way out instead of out
- 4:31working in. Now, you may say like, what are
- 4:33you talking about, Josh? But the whole point of a
- 4:36contrarian bracket is to be different from the masses.
- 4:39So another angle here is when you are getting points, when
- 4:43you're filling out your bracket and you know, maybe you guys do
- 4:45Yahoo or ESPN or CBS or whatever, you know, platform you
- 4:48do. Obviously whatever bracket
- 4:50contest you're in, they're going to give you updated standings
- 4:52after every single round. But do you notice that often
- 4:55times whoever's winning or the leaderboard, the top one or two
- 4:59people after the first round, they don't always win the whole
- 5:01thing? Like you see a lot of variants,
- 5:03you see a lot of movement, someone who is maybe way down
- 5:06the list after round one might end up winning the whole thing.
- 5:09Well, the reason for that is based on the scoring.
- 5:11So when we talked like NFL key numbers like 37106, I think you
- 5:17want to think about kind of the importance of key rounds, I
- 5:20guess you should say, because when you're getting graded, you
- 5:23got to think about the grading structure of the bracket.
- 5:25You're going to get a low amount of points, a small amount of
- 5:28points. If you win the first round,
- 5:30second round, you're going to get double the points, third
- 5:32round, triple the points, or you're getting basically more
- 5:35points the more teams that you advance further, if that makes
- 5:39sense. So think of it this way.
- 5:41If you and I join Jeopardy, you know, we got, we got the thing
- 5:44in the mail says, hey, you've been selected to, to, to be on
- 5:47Jeopardy. What are you going to do when
- 5:50you're up there and when you see this happen?
- 5:52I mean, my wife and I were actually watching Celebrity
- 5:54Jeopardy last night. It's always funny.
- 5:55She never wants to do regular Jeopardy.
- 5:57She thinks it's too hard. But she's like, celebrities.
- 5:59Oh, the questions are easier, so let's watch it anyway.
- 6:02Celebrity Jeopardy, everyone who started and you see this very
- 6:06often, they start with the clues that are worth the least.
- 6:09Like, they'll start at the top of the column.
- 6:11Like, give me, you know, the pen is mightier for USNL fans for
- 6:15$100. Then they work their way down.
- 6:18Think of the bracket as flipping it on its head.
- 6:21Because if you guys know who, James Holzhou Holzhauer, I think
- 6:25I'm saying Holzenhauer. Anyway, he was a Jeopardy
- 6:28champion. He's a professional sports
- 6:30better. He mentioned a couple years ago,
- 6:32like when you go on Jeopardy, everyone picks the lowest, you
- 6:35know, cheapest clues first. Don't do that.
- 6:37Pick the $1000 clues first because those are worth more.
- 6:41Like if you get 10 clues for 100 bucks, right, and I get 10 clues
- 6:45for 1000 bucks, right? We both got the same amount of
- 6:47clues, right? But I'm going to get way more
- 6:49money because I picked the heavier, you know, basically
- 6:52questions or clues that are worth more, more points.
- 6:56So with that being said, when you create a contrarian bracket,
- 6:59you want to pick your champion first because you might not do
- 7:02great on the outside, but if you can get a champion right, you're
- 7:04probably going to win your bracket.
- 7:06If you can get at least a couple final fours in there, you're
- 7:08probably going to win your bracket.
- 7:10Now the one catch is you can't pick the champion that everyone
- 7:13else is picking. So I'm looking at the updated
- 7:15odds right now at DraftKings to win March Madness.
- 7:17Duke is your favorite plus 350. Auburn is second best odds plus
- 7:22370. I would safely assume that a
- 7:25vast majority of people who are in your bracket are either going
- 7:28to pick Duke or Auburn to win. So if Duke or Auburn wins the
- 7:32tournament, you're going to lose because that's what everyone
- 7:35else is doing. But reminder, March Madness, a
- 7:37lot of upsets happen. The chalk doesn't always win
- 7:39out, so in order to differentiate yourself, you need
- 7:43to pick a champion other than the two favorites, Duke and
- 7:45Auburn. So I'm looking at the boards,
- 7:47right? The board right now, maybe you
- 7:49pick Florida plus 800, third best odds.
- 7:53Houston tied for the third best odds plus 800.
- 7:55Tennessee plus 1200. Alabama plus 1500, Iowa State
- 7:59plus 2200. Saint John's plus 2500, Michigan
- 8:02State plus 2800. Whole point being is that if you
- 8:06pick Duke or Auburn and they win, you may not even win your
- 8:10bracket because everyone else is picking them.
- 8:12So maybe you have one bracket where you have Florida as the
- 8:14champion, one bracket where you have Houston as the champion.
- 8:17Then if one of those two win, there's a good chance you're
- 8:20going to win your bracket because you're different from
- 8:22the rest. So that's really the way you can
- 8:25differentiate yourself and set yourself up for winning your
- 8:28bracket. So pick a champion that no one
- 8:30else is picking. And again, I'm not saying like
- 8:33I'm looking at the, you know, the odds right now, like UCLA is
- 8:35plus 9000, like I'm not going to pick UCLA between my bracket.
- 8:39It's just that's probably not going to happen.
- 8:41But pick someone who's like, you know, third four, fifth best
- 8:44odds, who has a realistic shot. Then you can differentiate
- 8:47yourself and then you can kind of start in the middle and then
- 8:50work your way out. So I just wanted to mention that
- 8:53on the topic of rhythms got their new bracket, you can
- 8:55request thinking about creating a contrarian bracket.
- 8:58We can kind of use the two in tandem.
- 9:00So I'm just excited about March Madness.
- 9:02Maybe I just had to mention that today cuz cuz I want, I want my
- 9:04bracket, I want to fill it out. I'm very much looking forward to
- 9:07that. Now let's move on to today's
- 9:10action 3 pack overall. I want to mention real quick
- 9:13last night, sadly our two day winning streak came to an end.
- 9:16We went 1 and 2 -. 1.4 units. Had a nice hit with Connecticut.
- 9:21They pulled it out. Caravan had a huge 3 late.
- 9:24They won that game, which was great to see, but the two other
- 9:27games were frustrating because we beat the closing line on both
- 9:30Pittsburgh on the money line. We money line number on -2 two
- 9:34and a half. They closed 2 1/2 even juiced up
- 9:37couple books closed at -3 so closing line value.
- 9:40But they lost. And then late night 1 was
- 9:43Morehead money line Morehead around.
- 9:45I want to say it was -1 1/2 - 2. They closed -2 1/2 so beat the
- 9:49closing line on both games. Lost both games tells me we're
- 9:53we got our finger on the pulse reading the market correctly.
- 9:56Just, you know, Pit and Morehead did not come through for us
- 9:59unfortunately. So either way, guys, you don't
- 10:01get any money for CLV, but it is a sign that we're reading the
- 10:04market correctly. So I will take that.
- 10:06So let's flip the page and go to a big Thirsty Thursday.
- 10:10So the first game that I want to talk about, it's an early game
- 10:12today, 5:30 PM Eastern Time. We're going to look at a matchup
- 10:16that might not be the most popular, but maybe you can get
- 10:20this thing in early and hopefully start your night off
- 10:22with a win. I'm talking about the first
- 10:24round of the West Coast Conference tournament, San Diego
- 10:27against Pacific. Now let's set the stage, look at
- 10:30some line movement, bet splits. We'll look at some rhythm and
- 10:33sharp mush indicators, and I'll tell you which way I'm going
- 10:35with this one. So coming into this first round
- 10:38of the WCC tournament, San Diego, they've been bad 5 and 26
- 10:42on the year. They're the 11 seed.
- 10:44They did however just snap a 16 game losing streak.
- 10:47They just beat Portland 82 to 80.
- 10:49They went out right as a 1 1/2 point home dog.
- 10:52Meanwhile, Pacific 9 and 23 on the year, bad as well, little
- 10:56bit better record though. The ten seed.
- 10:58They have however dropped four straight.
- 11:00They just lost to Santa Clara, got destroyed 97 to 66 didn't
- 11:04cover as a 13 1/2 point home dog.
- 11:06So. What have you seen across the
- 11:08market here? Well, this game opened with
- 11:10Pacific List. It has a very very short one
- 11:12point neutral site favorite. So this is a true conference
- 11:15tournament game. Neutral site now.
- 11:17What do we see across the market here?
- 11:19Well, all movement and liability has picked the lesser of two
- 11:22evils. Pacific.
- 11:24I like Pacific money line here guys.
- 11:25Pacific open -1 they've now been met up to -1 1/2 some books even
- 11:30now up to -2 So it's always notable to me.
- 11:32You open as a pick, you open as a one point favorite.
- 11:35You know, where does the line move?
- 11:36Does it flip dog to fave? Does it get down to a pick?
- 11:39Does it rise up? Well, this one rose up in favor
- 11:42of Pacific. Now the bet splits on Pacific
- 11:44look really good at both DraftKings and Circa.
- 11:47At DraftKings, Pacific's getting 73% of spread bets, 93% of
- 11:52spread dollars. At Circa, Pacific is getting 50%
- 11:56of spread bets, 85% of spread dollars.
- 11:59So both DraftKings and Circa National Public book and a Sharp
- 12:03Vegas book, both showing really good low bets, higher dollar
- 12:06splits in favor of Pacific, which coincides with that line
- 12:09move in their favor. Now Ken Palm has specific
- 12:12winning the game, but only by one point.
- 12:14So I ain't laying a 1 1/2 or two.
- 12:16This is a very modest money line.
- 12:18I got Pacific on the money line at -125 we do see a pretty good
- 12:23bet split on Pacific money line at DraftKings.
- 12:26They're getting 67% of money line bets, but nearly 90% of
- 12:30money line dollars. And again, taking a position
- 12:33here on a kind of small early game tells me it's probably
- 12:36mostly sharp betters versus the public who may might not even be
- 12:39out of work by then, might not even know this game is, you
- 12:42know, this early in the day. Then you look towards some stat
- 12:46categories, hopefully that benefit Pacific.
- 12:48They have the better offensive efficiency.
- 12:50They ranked 267th in the country.
- 12:52Doesn't sound great, but San Diego ranks 3 O 9th.
- 12:55They have the better effective field goal percentage, 48%
- 12:58versus 46%, but are two point field goal percentage, 50%
- 13:02versus 47%. And they also do a better job at
- 13:05limiting offensive rebounds to their opponents.
- 13:08So are you giving up, you know, offensive boards?
- 13:12They rank 89th in the country. That's actually pretty good
- 13:14versus San Diego ranking 268th. And then I just looked at last
- 13:2010. Like how have you been playing
- 13:21recently? I noticed that Pacific's giving
- 13:23up 74 points a game, their last 10.
- 13:25San Diego is giving up 85 points a game, their last 10.
- 13:29So hopefully that is a benefit to Pacific.
- 13:31Now, our friends at Rhythm have Pacific -1.3, so pretty much
- 13:36right on the 1 1/2 or two. But I did notice at Juice Reel
- 13:39there is a 29% sharp mush edge in favor of Pacific.
- 13:44So 29% more of the sharper more, you know, winning betters, I
- 13:48guess you want to say are on Pacific versus losing betters
- 13:52leaning more towards San Diego. So we have a early 530 game.
- 13:56It's kind of under the radar, but it's clear this line's going
- 13:59to Pacific. You got great bet splits.
- 14:01We got good stat categories. We have a rhythm edge, a Ken
- 14:04palm edge and a sharp mush edge. So hopefully first play of the
- 14:07night, can we get a win to start tonight?
- 14:09That will be great. I am on Pacific, the Tigers on
- 14:13the money line at -125 next one for you.
- 14:16Another conference tournament game. 7:00 Let's go to the
- 14:20Summit League conference tournament between Kansas City
- 14:24and Omaha tonight. Now setting the stage, we have
- 14:27Kansas City coming in the ruse Kangaroos 13 and 19 on the year.
- 14:31They're the eighth seed. They've won two of their last
- 14:33three. They actually played yesterday
- 14:35in the first round of the Summit League tournament and they beat
- 14:39up on who is it Oral Roberts, 73 to 56, they covered as a 5 1/2
- 14:46point neutral site favorite. Meanwhile, Omaha, 19 and 12 on
- 14:49the year, they are the one seed in this tournament.
- 14:52They've won three straight and they're coming off a bye, so
- 14:55we'll get to that in a second. I think that could be a benefit
- 14:58toward Omaha. And in the last game they also
- 15:00played Oral Roberts. They crushed them 80 to 57,
- 15:03covered as a 10 1/2 point home favorite.
- 15:05So. What have you seen across the
- 15:06market here? Well.
- 15:08It looks like pros are going with the chalk, the one seed,
- 15:11because Omaha opened as a 2 1/2 point neutral site favorite.
- 15:14We've not seen Omaha get steamed up to -3 1/2.
- 15:17And some shops are juiced up like they may even be going to
- 15:20four. So it's pretty clear here, all
- 15:22movement liability on Omaha at DraftKings, 79% of spread bets,
- 15:2791% of spread dollars are on Omaha.
- 15:30So this looks like, again, a pro and Joe play where maybe the
- 15:32public just says, hey, give me Omaha because of the number one
- 15:35seed, where pros don't care what the public's doing.
- 15:37They see value in the number saying, hey, that 2 1/2, even
- 15:41three 3 1/2 is too low. Let's play Omaha to win this
- 15:44game. Now Ken Palm has Omaha winning
- 15:48by two points. So you guys know the drill.
- 15:50I ain't laying 3 1/2 when Ken Palm tells me it could be a
- 15:53bucket win. So I went money line here.
- 15:56I got Omaha on the money line at -170 at FanDuel.
- 16:01Fanduel's got the best price right now.
- 16:03Other books are closer to like -180 so try to shop for that
- 16:06best number when you're playing favorites, you got to find the
- 16:08lowest juice possible so that when you risk a unit, if you win
- 16:11your money back, you're getting, you know, a bigger payout.
- 16:15If you look at the money line splits of DraftKings look really
- 16:17good. 88% of bets, 99% of dollars, Circa, 75% of bets, 98%
- 16:25of of money line dollars. So both again, DraftKings and
- 16:28Circa, I love it when they line up, tells me that even though
- 16:30you have different style betters at different books, more average
- 16:34Joe's at DraftKings, more sharper betters at Circa, the
- 16:37heavy money here is in particular on the same side.
- 16:41So you're kind of coming to the same conclusion, even though
- 16:43maybe you're kind of pulling different, different style
- 16:45betters. Omaha, lot of advantages here,
- 16:48better offensive efficiency, 98th in the country versus 200
- 16:52and 90th for the ruse. Better effective field goal
- 16:55percentage, 53% versus 49%. Hopefully, they can hit their
- 16:59threes 37% versus 33% and they also take better care of the
- 17:03ball. They're 83rd and turnover
- 17:05percentage. The ruse ranked 289th.
- 17:08Then some other angles here. It's conference tournament.
- 17:11Omaha went 13 and three in conference play this year.
- 17:14Kansas City went just 4 and 12. And here's a little kind of
- 17:18advantage I alluded to rest versus tired.
- 17:21You know, this is the eternal question.
- 17:22Rest versus rust. Like, yeah, Kansas City had a
- 17:25win yesterday. Maybe they can carry that
- 17:27momentum into today. I hope not.
- 17:29But also, they're playing the second game in back-to-back
- 17:31days, whereas Omaha, the one seed, hasn't played since March
- 17:341st. So they are rested and ready to
- 17:36go. So I'm going to hope that that
- 17:38rest first tired is a benefit to Omaha.
- 17:41The Long story short, you know, typically you're playing the one
- 17:44seed in a tournament like this. Maybe the spreads too high to
- 17:46money line. I don't think this is that high.
- 17:48It's a little higher than or about as high as I'm willing to
- 17:51go. I never want to go -200 or more.
- 17:53But if you can still find that -170 -, 175, this will play for
- 17:58me on Omaha to win the damn game.
- 18:01By the way, we do have our friends at Rhythm Omaha -2.7.
- 18:05So line move, great stat advantages.
- 18:08Rest first. Tired Ken Palm, Rhythm edge.
- 18:11Let's go. Omaha.
- 18:12You guys know what their mascot is, The Mavericks, Nebraska
- 18:15Omaha, Mavericks money line -170 last bite of the night, 9:30 PM
- 18:21Eastern Time. This is not a conference
- 18:23tournament. It's just a classic late regular
- 18:25season game Hawaii at Cal State Bakersfield.
- 18:29So Hawaii comes in on the air 15 and 14.
- 18:32They just snapped A3 game losing streak.
- 18:34They beat UC Davis 78 to 70. They covered as a 3 1/2 point
- 18:38home favorite in that one. You know Bakersfield 13 and 18
- 18:42on the year. They've dropped two of their
- 18:44last three. Just got crushed by Cal Poly 98
- 18:47to 72 did not cover as a 3 1/2 point Rd. dog.
- 18:50So. What do you see across the
- 18:52market here? Will this game open Cal State
- 18:54Bakersfield? A true home game for them.
- 18:56Very short, 1 or 1 1/2 point home favorite and all movement
- 19:00liability has come on Bakersfield.
- 19:03Bakersfield -1 -, 1 1/2. Now they're juiced up -1 1/2 -,
- 19:07115 -, 120. Some books even up to -2 So it's
- 19:11pretty clear, you know, you open Cal State short favorite,
- 19:14they've either stayed the same or become more of a favorite.
- 19:17Pretty good bet split in favor of Cal State Bakersfield.
- 19:20It is a very low bet late night game.
- 19:22It's not an added extra game, but still, you know how how many
- 19:25you know, public betters woke up today and said I really got to
- 19:27bet Hawaii, Cal State Bakersfield.
- 19:29So to me, it's more of kind of a wise guy targeted game.
- 19:33But the bet splits look pretty good.
- 19:34DraftKings Bakersfield's getting 78% of spread bets, 94% of
- 19:38spread dollars, Circa 44% of spread bets, 69% of spread
- 19:43dollars. So another overlap of both
- 19:46DraftKings and Circa with a good low bet, higher dollar bet
- 19:48split. Now our buddy Ken Palm is
- 19:50Bakersfield winning by two. So you might say to yourself,
- 19:53hey, got the 1 1/2, lay it, but I don't want to lay a 1 1/2 or
- 19:57two and you know they win by 1 and I lose my bet or push my
- 19:59bet. So it was a pretty short money
- 20:01line. I got Bakersfield at -135 on the
- 20:04money line at DraftKings Bakersfield pretty good split to
- 20:07win straight up. 68% of money line bets, 94% of money line
- 20:12dollars. Bakersfield has the better
- 20:14offensive efficiency, 177th in the country versus 200 and 32nd
- 20:19for Hawaii. Better offensive rebound
- 20:21percentage, 36% versus 31%. Better three-point shooting.
- 20:26Hopefully they can hit their threes because it's a good
- 20:27advantage here, 38% versus only 31% for Hawaii and better free
- 20:32throw percentage, 77% versus 74%.
- 20:36Roadrunners, Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners also
- 20:39better at forcing turnovers. The rank 76th in the country
- 20:43versus 300 and 53rd for Hawaii. Home Rd.
- 20:46Bakersfield, 8:00 and 6:00 at home.
- 20:47Nothing crazy, but winning record.
- 20:50Hawaii only two and seven on the road Rd.
- 20:52Runners fishy buy low play. They're a below 500 team off a
- 20:57loss who's favored over a sell high above 500 team off a win.
- 21:01So I want to buy low in this spot and Bakersfield sell high
- 21:04on Hawaii. And then little cherry on top,
- 21:07it's senior night for the Road Runners.
- 21:09So they have, I believe, 3 or 4 seniors on their team, but two
- 21:12of them are starters. So hopefully this is one of
- 21:15those, you know, extra motivation.
- 21:17Your parents and your aunts and uncles are coming to the game.
- 21:19You walk out to midcourt and you get some flowers and a plaque
- 21:23and you get some, you know, you get some, some extra motivation
- 21:26to win your last game and your homecourt.
- 21:28You saw this happen with Lamar the other night, which came
- 21:30through. So hopefully that's a little
- 21:32just little nugget that can benefit us in this game as well.
- 21:36Lastly, our friends at Rhythm have Cal State Bakersfield -1.4,
- 21:40so we just got to win this game. The Long story short, late night
- 21:44game, very low bet, great bet split, good movement.
- 21:47We have a home Rd. split, lot of stat advantages.
- 21:50It's senior night, let's go Bakersfield, win the damn game,
- 21:54money line -135 So that about does it for episode 231 of the
- 22:00All Systems Go Sports Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.

- 22:59know, data-driven analysis, if you want to recommend the all
- 23:02systems go pod to that person, that would be great as well.
- 23:06Next, if you enjoy this style of betting breakdown data-driven
- 23:09betting, you've not you're not hooked on monitoring the market
- 23:13and looking at line movement and bet splits and figuring out
- 23:15system matches and taking a contrarian approach.

- 23:21learn more about data-driven betting or you just want to make
- 23:23my day, let me know you appreciate the hard work that I
- 23:26put in hosting this pod each day.
- 23:28Then there are a couple things I'd love for you to do.
- 23:30One is go buy my first book. Go to Amazon.com and type in the
- 23:35everything guide to sports betting.
- 23:37Pick up a copy for you or for a friend.
- 23:39It's really great for brand new betters to the betting market.
- 23:42People who have never bet before are kind of new to betting.
- 23:45But then I also have something I'm very excited about.
- 23:47And again, get ready. I'm going to mention this every
- 23:49day until it comes out. I'm sorry you're not just going
- 23:52to have to deal with it, but I'm just super excited for my next
- 23:55book to come out August 12th. It's called the NFL Sharp
- 23:59Betting Playbook. I tweeted yesterday that it is
- 24:02now the number one new release bestseller in the category of
- 24:05sports betting on Amazon. So I'm like super, super excited
- 24:08about that. But if you want to make my day,
- 24:10could you please pre-order a copy?
- 24:13Go to Amazon.com, type in the NFL Sharp betting Playbook,
- 24:16pre-order a copy. I believe it's $24.00, but
- 24:20you'll get it dropped on your front porch from 1 of Bezos's
- 24:23drone in August. And then you're going to bring
- 24:25it to the book. I'm going to sign it for you and
- 24:26I'm going to buy you a beer or ginger ale and we're going to
- 24:29we're going to sweat some games together.
- 24:31But seriously, for those of you who've already bought a copy,
- 24:33pre-ordered it, thank you. It really really does mean a lot
- 24:35to me. Next, if you haven't done it
- 24:37yet, it's time to download to my favorite sports betting apps,
- 24:41Juice Reel and rhythm. Rhythm as we mentioned, where
- 24:44you can now request your March Madness bracket.
- 24:48Rhythm is great for their AI backed models and predictions
- 24:50for game bets and player props. They got MLB coming soon, which
- 24:52is which is great. Then also Juice reel where you
- 24:56can sign up to get the all systems go best bet picks each
- 24:59day. I make this kind of point each
- 25:01time, but this pod is free. It cost you nothing if you enjoy
- 25:04the pod. I'm I'm I'm holding out a cup.
- 25:07It says tips. I would love for you guys to tip
- 25:10the pod by signing up to get the all systems go best bets on
- 25:14Juice reel. It costs $4.99 a week, but seven
- 25:18days of plays again, basically a cup of coffee or half a cup of
- 25:22coffee if you go to Starbucks. And it's a great way to get
- 25:25these plays a little bit earlier in the day, hopefully beat some
- 25:27closing lines. You can always click the tweet
- 25:29that I put out around 5-6 O clock every night at Josh under
- 25:33score Insights. Or you can just go to the Juice
- 25:36Reel app, go to social, find juicers and then type in ASG
- 25:40under score podcast. You're also going to get with
- 25:43Juice Reel, the Robo Jackson best bet pics, the sharp mush
- 25:46indicators, the arbitrage plays. Sync up your sports books and
- 25:50get a running report card of your action and also great
- 25:53shopping for the best line futures both available with
- 25:56juice rail and of course, you got to download rhythm as well.
- 26:00Lastly, if you need a live odds page, you got to have a live
- 26:03odds page. If you're listening to my voice,
- 26:05it means that you care about being the best better you can
- 26:08be. And if you don't have a live
- 26:09odds page, you are flying blind, my friend.
- 26:11You got to know what the lines open that how they're moving,
- 26:14what the current prices are. You got to be able to see the
- 26:17lines light up and see if they're moving down from -2 to
- 26:20-1 1/2 or rising up from -3 to -4 or the totals of falling.
- 26:25It's getting juiced. You got to be able to shop for
- 26:28the best line, track the market in real time.
- 26:30It's so important, and the best live odds page to do that is
- 26:34Odds Logic. So you've heard me talk about
- 26:36it, but I'd love for you guys to sign up with Odds Logic and you
- 26:39just give it a shot with a 7A free trial.
- 26:41See if you like it. I tweeted out earlier today
- 26:43there's a lot of new advancements of the Odds Logic
- 26:45team is doing. It's more customizable, the
- 26:47homepage, the color coordination, you can get little
- 26:50arrows up and down when lines change.
- 26:52But if you want to give it a shot, I think you're going to
- 26:54like it. You got to go to this specific
- 26:56link, www.oddslogic.com/josh 123.
- 27:03So oddslogic.com/josh 123, you get your 7 day free trial.
- 27:08I think you're going to like it if you like it and you want to
- 27:10continue. It's 99 bucks a month, which
- 27:12sounds like a lot, but believe me, there are live odds pages
- 27:15out there. Most of them are like 300 bucks
- 27:17a month, 600 bucks a month. So this is the best option at
- 27:20the lowest price. And again, if you have any
- 27:22questions about anything I mentioned, you can always DM me
- 27:25at Josh under score insights. I'd be happy to give you that
- 27:28promo code or question, answer your questions about pretty much
- 27:31anything. So that about does it for
- 27:34episode 231 of the ASG Pod Powered by Rhythm.
- 27:37As always, I'm leave you with two things.
- 27:39One, whether I see you at the Borgata in Atlantic City, Twin
- 27:42River in Rhode Island, the Brook in New Hampshire or the Nash in
- 27:46New Hampshire, which I'm going for the first time this weekend.
- 27:49Also, if you are looking at the Encore in Boston or Plain Ridge
- 27:53Park Casino or MGM Springfield in my neck of the woods out in
- 27:56the desert where the true grinders get down or Billy
- 27:58Walter sends his number runners with lowest true as possible
- 28:01found the South Point or sweat and sharp contrarian plays
- 28:04jumping in the stadium swimming pool.
- 28:06When you cash a big ticket at Circo wherever, maybe you're
- 28:09going to walk up to me. Unfortunately, Pit and Morehead
- 28:11let us down. But show me that beautiful UConn
- 28:13Huskies ticket. Shout out to my guy King
- 28:16Nebuchadnezzar, who had to drive, I believe from was it New
- 28:19York to Connecticut or Connecticut to New York because
- 28:22yeah, you can't bet on college teams in your own state.
- 28:25And he drove over the border, put in a UConn ticket and then
- 28:27drove right back. And my guy King cashed a big one
- 28:30there. So Congrats to you, my buddy,
- 28:32but as always, first one's on me, next one's on you.
- 28:34We're going to post about the book.
- 28:36Sweatshop Can Train plays all night long as always. 1 and 2,
- 28:40two and one, O and three, three and O.
- 28:43It should never change what you did the previous day, how you
- 28:46approach the following day. We beat some closing lines,
- 28:49brakes didn't go our way. We're not going to get pissed
- 28:52off and double and triple down or, you know, chase or do
- 28:55whatever. Just going to stick to the
- 28:56blueprint, that blueprint, as you guys know by now, betting
- 29:00games with our head and not our heart, games that fit the model,
- 29:02avoiding ones that don't against the public with the house, with
- 29:05the pros flat bet, avoid parlays, get that CLV.
- 29:09If we can do that, we're going to be successful sports betters.
- 29:12So have a great thirsty Thursday, everybody.
- 29:14I'll see you guys tonight on V some live SiriusXM channel.
- 29:18It's either 158 or 82 for Patrick Maher show, but then
- 29:22we'll be right back at it tomorrow for a big Friday
- 29:24edition. That'll be episode 232 of the
- 29:28All Systems Go Sports Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 29:32Good luck everybody and have a great Thursday night.
