- 0:17Speaker 2: You know I think we need to count down.

- 0:24Speaker 1: and then I forgot about it until literally just now,
- 0:27Speaker 1: when you said that.
- 0:28Speaker 3: It just dawned on me. So you know that's how
- 0:31Speaker 3: the add brain works.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I meant to actually do that, but then I forgot
- 0:35Speaker 1: because I was a conversation from like longer than twenty
- 0:39Speaker 1: four hours ago, and I've only had Big Brother on
- 0:41Speaker 1: my mind.
- 0:42Speaker 3: So I know, because it's tonight and I somehow have
- 0:46Speaker 3: been sucked into this crazy train. I will say I
- 0:50Speaker 3: told JT what we were talking about doing, uh huh,
- 0:53Speaker 3: and he was like, she talked to you into Big
- 0:57Speaker 3: Brother and watching it.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I said she did. It's like, oh boy, oh.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Boy, oh boy. I am very persuasive apparently, allow to everybody, right, yes, yes,
- 1:12Speaker 1: we will say hello to everybody in chat. We have

- 9:07Speaker 1: I love that, Thank you, thank you. I'm glad people
- 9:12Speaker 1: think I'm a little more interesting than I am. I'm
- 9:15Speaker 1: just kidding. But okay, so before we get into what
- 9:19Speaker 1: we're drinking, Okay, we have to do something. We have
- 9:24Speaker 1: to wish the amazing, the talented, and the beautiful Buddy
- 9:31Speaker 1: aka Demy to some of you in chat, a very
- 9:35Speaker 1: very happy birthday. Look at that. Look at that. She's
- 9:39Speaker 1: gonna hate us for this. She didn't know about it.
- 9:42Speaker 2: It's so beautiful.
- 9:44Speaker 1: She is one of my bestest friends mighty squared, and
- 9:48Speaker 1: it's been such a pleasure to have her in my
- 9:50Speaker 1: life these last few years. So cheers to you, babes.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Cheers to you, Buffy. We love you. Happy birthday, go
- 9:58Speaker 1: another fantastic year for you.
- 10:00Speaker 3: I love that I get to share birthday month with her.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I'm not one of her, you know, besties for years,
- 10:05Speaker 3: so I at least could say I am so special
- 10:08Speaker 3: because I get to share birthday month with her.
- 10:10Speaker 1: She loves me. I think she's pretty awesome. But today's
- 10:15Speaker 1: her birthday, so if you see her in chat, I
- 10:19Speaker 1: don't think she's in her yet. She's probably watching The Brother
- 10:23Speaker 1: before the rest of us showing her.
- 10:26Speaker 2: But it's okay.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I can be mad about it.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Before we get into what we're drinking. I need to
- 10:33Speaker 3: say this before I drink too much. Okay, if there's
- 10:38Speaker 3: anybody in the chat that knows me outside of the podcast,
- 10:42Speaker 3: you need to hold onto your butts because I am
- 10:46Speaker 3: about to announce something that is going to make you
- 10:49Speaker 3: all be shocked.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Oh my goodness. I don't even know what this means,
- 10:52Speaker 1: but okay.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I have been sucked into the Big Brother cult compliments
- 10:58Speaker 3: of Lama. I even voted today and picked a Big
- 11:03Speaker 3: Brother fantasy lineup.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Who would have ever funk that would happen.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Just tell everyone you know they're not gonna be able
- 11:15Speaker 1: to get ahold of you for the next three months
- 11:17Speaker 1: because you're gonna be watching live feeds every day like
- 11:20Speaker 1: a crazy person. It's amazing.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I'm either gonna thank you when I see you next
- 11:26Speaker 3: weekend or I'm gonna slap you.
- 11:29Speaker 1: That's fine. I feel like it's going to be the second,
- 11:32Speaker 1: but I don't know.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you I drank the kool.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Aid Expect the unexpected.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Well, i've read so now that you've made me get
- 11:43Speaker 3: on that rabbit hole. No, the hosts said, she hopes
- 11:48Speaker 3: this year is different because it's gotten to be where
- 11:51Speaker 3: expect the expected.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know who's producers for that show, but
- 11:56Speaker 1: we come up with amazing ideas, and I think maybe
- 12:00Speaker 1: it's because we might be states. I don't know the
- 12:03Speaker 1: producers there. They don't play all the cards, and we
- 12:06Speaker 1: come up with where like, oh, they should do this,
- 12:08Speaker 1: and then I don't have something way lamer.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Why does it say no, Terry.
- 12:12Speaker 1: No, because Capin is not on the BB train.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Oh so you haven't. Oh we'll have to give her
- 12:21Speaker 2: some kool aid next weekend and get her on.
- 12:26Speaker 1: This is it's not.
- 12:31Speaker 3: We've oh Capin Now, maybe I have to change my No, sorry,
- 12:36Speaker 3: I'm already on the train.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Anyway. You're drinking, all right, So tonight I'm drinking Cave
- 12:45Speaker 1: and Cove, Miss American Moscato. It says nothing about it,
- 12:53Speaker 1: So that's that's all I have to share about that.
- 12:55Speaker 1: But that's what I'm drinking tonight.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Well, I am drinking a Chateau viven Rose and let's
- 13:04Speaker 3: see what it says.
- 13:08Speaker 2: It's in French, miss.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Simbaute a chateau familia.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not even gonna try.
- 13:15Speaker 1: You always get the French ones.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Well, because I'm going to Paris with one of my
- 13:24Speaker 3: besties for our birthday, so I'm trying to find some
- 13:28Speaker 3: that I like.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Okay, okay, love that, love that, well, you guys, let's
- 13:38Speaker 1: get into where we're all here, the case of Larry Rudolph. Okay,
- 13:43Speaker 1: so if you're already, you're all going to be pissed
- 13:45Speaker 1: because we've been pissed too. So prepare yourselves. Prepare yourselves.
- 13:51Speaker 1: So let's start off with Lawrence Rudolph. We call him Larry,
- 13:56Speaker 1: his real name is Lawrence. He had everything, a successful
- 14:01Speaker 1: dental practice, a beautiful wife, too, smart and loving children.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I don't know what it is with all the dentists
- 14:09Speaker 1: lately covering on the show. We can't escape them. And
- 14:14Speaker 1: that's how came the show to dental crimes and mind
- 14:16Speaker 1: time for sure, that's.
- 14:18Speaker 3: How I wound up in the Intadunti's chair and I
- 14:22Speaker 3: told her today, I said, it's all because on my
- 14:25Speaker 3: podcast we covered dentists and now here I am.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I think the last is when we did Lady and
- 14:33Speaker 1: Gray had to go to the dentist the next day.
- 14:37Speaker 1: That's where she listened to it.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Can we cover people who win the lotteries, then maybe
- 14:41Speaker 3: we'll win the lottery.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Are there have they committed crimes? I don't.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I there are people who've been killed for the lottery winnings.
- 14:50Speaker 3: We're going to need to look into that.
- 14:52Speaker 2: That's people on the back end.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Could you like write that down and editor list, then
- 14:58Speaker 3: maybe we'll win the lottery.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Maybe, I hope. So I forgot to put the pictures
- 15:03Speaker 1: up here. On goodness, that's Larry, everybody. I'm sorry. I'm
- 15:07Speaker 1: also reading Entertaining and running a sly show tonight.
- 15:11Speaker 3: So I mean, physically not unattractive, but as a person
- 15:17Speaker 3: he's the idios.
- 15:18Speaker 1: The worst, the worst, separating the lies from the two.
- 15:25Speaker 1: To get out of hair, elbow feet, you're out of key,
- 15:28Speaker 1: but guys.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Larry met his wife, Bianca Finisio, in the cafeteria at
- 15:34Speaker 3: the University of Pittsburgh. Larry was getting his DMD, or
- 15:40Speaker 3: Doctor of Medicine and Dentistry, and Bianca was an undergrad.
- 15:46Speaker 3: They got married in nineteen eighty two. Guys, you can
- 15:48Speaker 3: tell from that hand that hat tells you all you
- 15:52Speaker 3: need to know about what era it was. Okay, Yeah,
- 15:56Speaker 3: just after she graduated, guy, they spent their newlywood years
- 16:00Speaker 3: building his dental practice, Total Dentistry.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Now.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Bianca worked in his office until they became parents, when
- 16:08Speaker 3: she shifted her attention to raising her children, while Larry
- 16:13Speaker 3: built the business that would support the family.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, and business was good because eventually they
- 16:23Speaker 1: bought another home. Traveling between Pittsburgh and Arizona. Look at
- 16:29Speaker 1: these houses. Look at those that's ridiculous. They're beautiful.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I wouldn't suck to live in one,
- 16:40Speaker 2: but I.
- 16:42Speaker 1: U huh, I said, I take both.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I mean I'll take Beth.
- 16:47Speaker 1: And their income also supported a very expensive hobby of theirs.
- 16:54Speaker 2: We're not talking.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Larry and Bianca were both avid big game hunters, and
- 17:03Speaker 1: with that we must now address the elephant in the
- 17:06Speaker 1: room unintended. You guys are not going to like this
- 17:09Speaker 1: picture and promise not to leave it up for that long.
- 17:11Speaker 1: But I hate them.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I hate them a lot.
- 17:17Speaker 3: It's not a pecture of an elephant, but that's just
- 17:20Speaker 3: as bad, just as bad. Now, this is a controversial
- 17:25Speaker 3: topic for some. Okay, you guys know we love our
- 17:28Speaker 3: animals here at True Crime and Wine Time. I mean,
- 17:31Speaker 3: my god, I now have three goats who would have
- 17:34Speaker 3: funked that. But obviously there are responsible ways to hunt,
- 17:40Speaker 3: and if you're following laws and safety requirements, I got
- 17:44Speaker 3: no problem with you, guys. It also can be used
- 17:47Speaker 3: for population control, for food, for hides, and for all
- 17:52Speaker 3: sorts of things that are actually useful. Okay, so that
- 17:56Speaker 3: an animal didn't die in vain. Now, guys, I will
- 18:01Speaker 3: tell you I was raised in a family that hunted.
- 18:04Speaker 3: I went to the deer lease every weekend, saw it happen.
- 18:08Speaker 3: My dad quit taking me in the deer lease because
- 18:11Speaker 3: we want to pull the gun up to go to shoot.
- 18:13Speaker 3: I would make noise and scare the deer off because
- 18:17Speaker 3: I didn't like that. But I will eat venison, I
- 18:20Speaker 3: will eat jerky. All of that I'm okay with. If
- 18:24Speaker 3: you do it and you eat them and you utilize it,
- 18:27Speaker 3: I don't want to be there to see it, Okay.
- 18:29Speaker 3: I don't personally even like to kill insects, except for
- 18:34Speaker 3: all spiders. Okay, So I don't really understand seeing an
- 18:39Speaker 3: exotic animal I'm thinking, ooh.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I'm going to kill the heck out of that either.
- 18:45Speaker 3: And I also don't see the joy in killing something
- 18:48Speaker 3: just to hang its head on the wall or dump
- 18:51Speaker 3: its body unless as directs husband. I mean, there's that,
- 18:59Speaker 3: there's I will get off my snowbox, but it will
- 19:02Speaker 3: probably con I mean, I have a problem with that.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 19:06Speaker 3: I will say, I've heard in some places, and like Tanzania,
- 19:11Speaker 3: they do take the meat from the big game and
- 19:15Speaker 3: they do feed, you know, the poorer populations.
- 19:20Speaker 2: I'm okay with that.
- 19:21Speaker 3: But also guys can hunts. Can hunts where you go
- 19:26Speaker 3: sit there and they make it come to you.
- 19:28Speaker 2: That's not really hunting.
- 19:30Speaker 1: No, no, not okay with it. I don't like any
- 19:33Speaker 1: of it. Oh, I damn it.
- 19:38Speaker 3: We absolutely not. Elbow feet, no, pan di skin, rugs.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Pantas are the words, but no even that, emmon, guns,
- 19:47Speaker 1: don't tell the stupid pandas just because you can. It's
- 19:51Speaker 1: weird and I don't like it. But anyway, so yeah,
- 19:56Speaker 1: So both Larry and beyonda or into hunting exotic animals
- 20:03Speaker 1: and often traveling to different locales to hunt. Larry became
- 20:08Speaker 1: the president of the Oh Honan Again Doom both come on,
- 20:12Speaker 1: get together, mama. Larry became the president of the Pittsburgh
- 20:15Speaker 1: chapter Safari Club International, an organization whose website states their
- 20:21Speaker 1: mission as quote, to defend the freedom to hunt and
- 20:25Speaker 1: promote wildlife conservation worldwide. I don't think Safari Club is
- 20:31Speaker 1: a good name for that, because that makes it seem
- 20:34Speaker 1: like you're non killing animals. You're going to look at them.
- 20:36Speaker 1: But okay, anyway. They also have a political action committee
- 20:42Speaker 1: that lobby's governments internationally, and Larry even received the weather
- 20:48Speaker 1: be Award for his Hunting Achievement outstanding support of conservation
- 20:53Speaker 1: and a dedication to ethical sport hunting.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Sure, they even built their own hunting cabin in Zambia.
- 21:05Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, do you guys know that to go
- 21:08Speaker 3: kill these big animals, it's like forty thousand dollars.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot of money.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Think of other better things you could spend the money.
- 21:19Speaker 1: So I do not I do not like these people.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I do not respect these people. It is very hard
- 21:24Speaker 1: to give a shit about anybody in the story. But
- 21:27Speaker 1: here we are.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and I'm going to just go on record right now.
- 21:33Speaker 3: If somebody wants to send me an email and explain
- 21:35Speaker 3: it to me. I do not understand how conservation and
- 21:42Speaker 3: hunting go hand in hand when some of these animals
- 21:47Speaker 3: are on the near extinction list and yet you go
- 21:51Speaker 3: to certain countries and you can kill them.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Yes, yes, Albophie says the money actually is what makes
- 21:58Speaker 1: up the majority of the funding for the reserves. That
- 22:02Speaker 1: is true. It does help in that degree. But again
- 22:06Speaker 1: it's be as people having like the need to spend
- 22:11Speaker 1: all of this money to do like I can't, and.
- 22:14Speaker 3: They do it more than once, so it's not like
- 22:15Speaker 3: they just go once do it. Why don't you just
- 22:18Speaker 3: donate money to the conservation.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Right, I'm sure they just will take money. But okay, anyway,
- 22:27Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. We're coming out the soapboxing. Okay, we're
- 22:30Speaker 1: just moving on. Anyway. Why don't you tell us more Terry?
- 22:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, at one point Larry had a little
- 22:39Speaker 3: hunting accident. Now there were no witnesses, and there are
- 22:45Speaker 3: two different versions out there of what happened on this
- 22:48Speaker 3: safari in Zambia. One city shut off the tip of
- 22:52Speaker 3: one of his thumbs. He told a fellow Safari club
- 22:55Speaker 3: member that it was bitten off by a ten foot crocodile. Guys,
- 23:00Speaker 3: did he steal that from Captain Hook?
- 23:05Speaker 1: Your crook, Captain Hook? Sorry, that's an arrested development joke
- 23:11Speaker 1: from my arrested development friends.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Now, he said he was pulling a fish from the
- 23:16Speaker 3: water when I crocodile bit his thumb and pulled him
- 23:18Speaker 3: into the water, where they proceeded to wrestle. And obviously
- 23:23Speaker 3: Larry won and had no other injuries from this.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I oh, so you wrestled a freaking crocodile that pulled
- 23:35Speaker 1: you into the water into All you lost was the
- 23:39Speaker 1: tip of your thumb. Like, sure, jam, he needs to
- 23:43Speaker 1: lay off nitrous. Okay, he's got a whole supply. And
- 23:49Speaker 1: this is the most insane story I have ever heard.
- 23:54Speaker 3: I I mean, I have a pretty good idea of
- 23:58Speaker 3: what story is true. But either way, he lost some
- 24:02Speaker 3: use of one of his thumbs, which was a problem
- 24:05Speaker 3: for a dentist.
- 24:07Speaker 2: He had to file for disability in two thousand and six.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Oh God, this guy, this guy. So by two thousand
- 24:15Speaker 1: and seven he was collected thirty thousand dollars a month
- 24:21Speaker 1: in disability. Y'all heard, correctly, thirty thousand dollars a month
- 24:26Speaker 1: in disability for a freaking missing thumb. Tip, like, are
- 24:32Speaker 1: you kidding me?
- 24:36Speaker 3: I buy big insurance policies or I know surgeons do
- 24:41Speaker 3: some assuming dentists do too, for their hands, so that
- 24:43Speaker 3: if something happens, you can do that.
- 24:45Speaker 1: It's only to like, it's this little nub thirty thousand,
- 24:49Speaker 1: don't get out of here, and it's on his left hand.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Get out of here, all right? But anyway, Total dentistry
- 24:56Speaker 1: has has become a chain of practices at this point,
- 25:00Speaker 1: and he was still working there in more of a
- 25:03Speaker 1: managerial capacity, which I did not understand how he got
- 25:06Speaker 1: disability and yet was still.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Working because he could no longer perform the duties he
- 25:14Speaker 3: went to school for, so he made less money.
- 25:17Speaker 1: But he can though. I'm literally it's a tip of
- 25:21Speaker 1: your thumb on your left hand. Get out of here, sir.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I don't leave you. What a joke. I keep this guy.
- 25:28Speaker 1: So we started to gain a reputation at work for
- 25:31Speaker 1: his temper. He was known to throw objects so hard
- 25:36Speaker 1: they stuck in the walls for days, because apparently he's fore.
- 25:40Speaker 1: He even allegedly threw a syringe at a coworker, and
- 25:44Speaker 1: all the while he would yell at them for being unprofessional.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I mean, I guess when you fought a cropdial you
- 25:51Speaker 1: behave however you want, apparently, but other partners at the
- 25:56Speaker 1: Chin wanted him gone out. Larry attempted to sue the
- 26:02Speaker 1: chain for defamation, but the partners were one step ahead.
- 26:07Speaker 1: They noticed some let's say, creative booking from Larry and
- 26:13Speaker 1: his time there. He was told to walk away or
- 26:16Speaker 1: they would be pressing charges against him for investment. And
- 26:21Speaker 1: I bet his excuse was the crocodile ate all the money.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Probably probably now.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Larry of course denied in bestling, but he did separate
- 26:37Speaker 3: from the practice, starting a new group of dental offices
- 26:41Speaker 3: known as Three Rivers of Things.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I keep forgetting. You're the sleigh show. I skipped a slide.
- 26:48Speaker 1: I was supposed to do this one a little while ago.
- 26:50Speaker 1: When he said the captain hooked fingers.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Okay, why would you?
- 26:53Speaker 3: Oh that's sweet little that's the crocodile from Tatianace Frog.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I think Spearman.
- 27:05Speaker 3: I was not the one from Princess and the Frog
- 27:07Speaker 3: where he gets up on the boat and he plays
- 27:09Speaker 3: the trumpet.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I don't know. I've never actually seen that is we
- 27:13Speaker 1: talked about that, but anyway, so.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Yes, but because he is a petty little bitch. The
- 27:22Speaker 3: first location was five hundred feet from his old job.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Okay, Now, Three.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Rivers grew to a group of five offices in the
- 27:30Speaker 3: Pittsburgh area specializing in sedation dentistry.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Okay, I'm here for that.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Larry's assistant at Three Rivers, Sherry Hawk, said, I liked
- 27:42Speaker 3: everything about how we treated our patients, and I really
- 27:46Speaker 3: believed in everything we did, in how he did it.
- 27:49Speaker 2: And I don't know why. I just got an accent.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Especially when they're in Pittsburgh, Terry, but I love it.
- 27:57Speaker 1: You stick with it. I like it.
- 28:00Speaker 2: It was the Hawk that did it. It was the name.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I like it. Keep using that because well, we'll hear
- 28:06Speaker 1: more from Sherry. So Larry and Bianca's children grew up
- 28:10Speaker 1: to be successful in their own right. Julian became a
- 28:14Speaker 1: lawyer in Florida, and Anna Bianca or Anna, became a
- 28:18Speaker 1: dentist herself, working at her father's practice. Julian said that
- 28:23Speaker 1: Larry was a good father who was generous and charismatic.
- 28:27Speaker 1: He also noted that his father worked a lot, and
- 28:30Speaker 1: he said his mother was amazing and his best friend.
- 28:36Speaker 3: I mean he's attractive. I mean he's doing and she
- 28:41Speaker 3: does have very pretty eyes. Yes, now Larry's assistant, Okay,
- 28:45Speaker 3: I'll try not to.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Sherry said that.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Anna described her mom as like an angel. She loved
- 28:52Speaker 3: her mom. People knew that Bianca Rudolph described her as
- 28:55Speaker 3: a very kind, caring person. Sarry herself did not know Bianca.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Bianca had never come into the office. Sherry assumed that
- 29:06Speaker 3: was because of Larry's affair with his office manager, Laurie Milron.
- 29:13Speaker 2: I mean, I'm going.
- 29:14Speaker 3: To just tell you, as a former's doctor's wife, why
- 29:18Speaker 3: would you not go to the office and make sure
- 29:20Speaker 3: everybody there knew who the heck you were. It would
- 29:23Speaker 3: have not happened if you were there and they were
- 29:26Speaker 3: scared of you. Just saying now, Larry and Laurie's affair
- 29:32Speaker 3: just seemed like it was very open as far as
- 29:36Speaker 3: I know, it was probably going on for twenty years.
- 29:40Speaker 3: It was just uncomfortable and you just didn't talk about it.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Oh wow, Larry really did have everything, Yeah, except for
- 29:51Speaker 1: two working thumbs. I guess. Larry took Laurie on many
- 29:56Speaker 1: trips and gave her expensive gifts. As they you. This
- 30:01Speaker 1: guy is just the worst.
- 30:04Speaker 3: I mean, why would you have your daughter come to
- 30:10Speaker 3: work with you there.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Well, I don't know if she worked in that specific
- 30:14Speaker 1: Remember he owns a chain, so I don't know if
- 30:17Speaker 1: the daughter worked at that specific one.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Or we went to the same point. But they talk there.
- 30:24Speaker 3: I got so many questions.
- 30:25Speaker 2: But okay, he.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Probably like let her have her own building and stuff.
- 30:31Speaker 1: You know, I don't know.
- 30:33Speaker 3: It didn't take long for Larry's temper to show it
- 30:36Speaker 3: the new dental practice because guys, guess what, I guess
- 30:39Speaker 3: the tiger can't change their stripes.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Oh she managed the chain.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Okay, interesting Now, as assistant Cherry recalled, Larry could be
- 30:51Speaker 3: very nice and he could change attitude within a matter
- 30:54Speaker 3: of minutes. He could throw temper tantrums and we would
- 30:58Speaker 3: sort of just call it like he was going Rudolph.
- 31:03Speaker 1: That's never good.
- 31:05Speaker 3: She decided that behavior is one of the reasons she
- 31:09Speaker 3: eventually left her job at the practice. That and because
- 31:12Speaker 3: I gave her a god awful accent.
- 31:14Speaker 2: That's why she left.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Oh god, no, I just want to throw potatoes at
- 31:21Speaker 1: this guy that was in chat. Feel free to throw
- 31:23Speaker 1: all the potatoes at this guy. We hate him. It's fine,
- 31:28Speaker 1: nobody likes him. So as we said before, Larry was
- 31:33Speaker 1: an active member. Yeah, we won't leave that up for
- 31:38Speaker 1: too long. I just want everybody to hate this guy
- 31:41Speaker 1: even more so. As we said before, Larry was an
- 31:45Speaker 1: active member of the Safari Club International. Then he was
- 31:49Speaker 1: the president of the Pittsburgh chapter, and then he became
- 31:53Speaker 1: president of the whole board of directors in two thousand
- 31:57Speaker 1: and nine, and that's a pretty big deal. Unfortunately for him, though,
- 32:02Speaker 1: his term was cut short when in twenty twelve he
- 32:06Speaker 1: was voted out by the club and stripped of his awards.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Oh what, Larry, honest, Larry what? There were reports that
- 32:15Speaker 1: he quote used his title to commit adult truth. Okay,
- 32:22Speaker 1: Apparently they were not happy about Larry taking Laurie on
- 32:27Speaker 1: an SCI trip to meet Sarah Bailin. No, that's not
- 32:32Speaker 1: how that works. There, we got a giant crab. No anyway, Yes,
- 32:42Speaker 1: there you go, Kavin there and all the datos and chat.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Please please keina what and set potatoes? Come in to
- 32:49Speaker 2: throw bottles or something.
- 32:50Speaker 3: That's something a little more painful.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Now.
- 32:54Speaker 3: He did not take this well, as y'all could imagine,
- 32:57Speaker 3: because it hurt his little feelers, okay, I mean his
- 33:00Speaker 3: ego and the legal battle begin SCI filed litigation that
- 33:05Speaker 3: Rudolph was negligent and damaged its reputation. Larry denied all
- 33:11Speaker 3: accusations of adultery and secretly recorded a conversation with an
- 33:17Speaker 3: s FI official, releasing it on social media with the
- 33:21Speaker 3: title Safari Club International SCI President tells the truth on video.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Rudolph exonerated.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Of course he did. Of course he did.
- 33:37Speaker 3: So then they filed another lawsuit for invasion of privacy
- 33:41Speaker 3: because of that video. Here's a heavily cut down version
- 33:47Speaker 3: of the original, because we don't want any legal trouble
- 33:50Speaker 3: with a bunch of hunters, But we did want you
- 33:53Speaker 3: to get a little taste of Larry's famous charisma as
- 33:57Speaker 3: he walks in front of a various fake background.
- 34:02Speaker 1: You guys ready for this, I'm ready for every long Okay.
- 34:07Speaker 5: Hi, my name is Larry Rudolph. As a fellow hunter
- 34:10Speaker 5: and conservationist, you may know me for my many years
- 34:13Speaker 5: as a strong supporter of both hunting and conservation. Maybe
- 34:18Speaker 5: we just shared a laugh over a great hunting story
- 34:20Speaker 5: and glass of wine. You know, I've been very fortunate
- 34:23Speaker 5: as a hunter, having collected nearly big game species and
- 34:28Speaker 5: most of the major international hunting awards that it became
- 34:31Speaker 5: apparent to myself and others that SCI was being abused, mismanaged,
- 34:37Speaker 5: and controlled by several of its past presidents for personal
- 34:41Speaker 5: financial benefit, their personal agenda and benefit overshadowing the best
- 34:47Speaker 5: interest of SCI and hunting. They instead chose an age
- 34:52Speaker 5: old tactic to destroy the messenger using their ethics process
- 34:58Speaker 5: to regain their political power.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Not ethics.
- 35:01Speaker 2: No.
- 35:02Speaker 5: As a result, SCI chose instead to defame and slander
- 35:06Speaker 5: my reputation in a mean spirited a town, culminating in
- 35:10Speaker 5: my expulsion. In hunting terms, we call this a hard shot,
- 35:14Speaker 5: and it was designed to kill me in the interest
- 35:17Speaker 5: of the truth and hunting. Please take a few minutes
- 35:20Speaker 5: to listen to this video. I mean, they could have
- 35:23Speaker 5: just spank me, They.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Could have just staked me. How did we just watch?
- 35:33Speaker 1: What is that madness?
- 35:35Speaker 2: Okay, did he say he has seen over three hundred
- 35:40Speaker 2: or he has killed over three hundred?
- 35:44Speaker 1: I think over three hundred.
- 35:47Speaker 3: So basically he is killing animals because he wants to
- 35:51Speaker 3: be a serial killer in real.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Life very much.
- 35:55Speaker 1: I don't like this guy.
- 35:56Speaker 2: I don't like this guy so.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Any of the people in the story. But you know what,
- 36:02Speaker 1: I think my favorite part of the video. Is is
- 36:04Speaker 1: the way he talks about ethics like they're mythological, like
- 36:10Speaker 1: those pesky ethics. How dare they They're trying to sabotage
- 36:14Speaker 1: me with ethics? Gross mill. Anyway, he was putting this
- 36:21Speaker 1: stuff out there as if it wasn't just making things
- 36:24Speaker 1: worse and screwing over the one guy who liked him
- 36:28Speaker 1: that was left at the sci and surprisingly Bianca was
- 36:33Speaker 1: supportive throughout, saying, quote, we discussed it, we resolved it,
- 36:38Speaker 1: we moved on. It's done. Like okay, okay, sure, okay.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Now.
- 36:49Speaker 3: The Rudolph's moved to their Arizona home in twenty twelve.
- 36:54Speaker 3: The dentistry practice remained in Pennsylvania, and Larry traveled back.
- 36:59Speaker 2: And fourth for work.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Talk about a commute commute doth Laurie live in at
- 37:05Speaker 1: this time? That's what I was trying, mind is I
- 37:08Speaker 1: think so? I think she has looked in Pittsburgh. That's
- 37:12Speaker 1: what I think about that. Anyway, though the lawsuits would
- 37:17Speaker 1: continue for years, and it certainly didn't change Larry's love
- 37:21Speaker 1: of hunting. No no. He and Bianca flew to Zambia
- 37:26Speaker 1: many times in twenty sixteen, and in October twenty sixteen
- 37:31Speaker 1: they traveled to Kafui National Park in Zambia. I love
- 37:36Speaker 1: the name of this place to get to say Kafui
- 37:39Speaker 1: live now.
- 37:42Speaker 3: I want to know because I mean, I really hope
- 37:44Speaker 3: he was looking for his thumb while he was there.
- 37:51Speaker 1: I hope so too. So Kafui National Park is one
- 37:54Speaker 1: of the largest wildlife reserves in Africa. Look at how
- 37:59Speaker 1: big and beautiful that is. Gorgeous. So it's adjacent to
- 38:05Speaker 1: a game management area with a highly regulated hunting season
- 38:10Speaker 1: allowing the hunt of species like antelope, buffalo, leopards, and
- 38:15Speaker 1: even lions. And the Rudolphs went to Zambia because Bianca
- 38:21Speaker 1: one and two hunts a leopard. Oh, I want to
- 38:26Speaker 1: get on the soapbox again, but I won't. I won't,
- 38:28Speaker 1: I won't it just it makes it so difficult to
- 38:33Speaker 1: root for you, Bianca.
- 38:36Speaker 3: I mean, Bianca, just go buy a leopard print outfit
- 38:40Speaker 3: or something a fake for leopard print coat.
- 38:45Speaker 1: So hard.
- 38:46Speaker 3: So in Kafui, the rudolph stayed in their two room cabin.
- 38:51Speaker 3: It was a bedroom and a bathroom. The cabin next
- 38:54Speaker 3: door was referred to as a dining area, but presumably
- 38:59Speaker 3: also how the guest.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Who weren't sleeping with Larry.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Even know.
- 39:06Speaker 3: They were there for ten days. A local game scout,
- 39:09Speaker 3: Spencer Kukuma, accompanied them on their hunts. He said they
- 39:14Speaker 3: seemed very happy. They were laughing at each other, kissing
- 39:19Speaker 3: each other, lugging each other. I didn't see any tension
- 39:23Speaker 3: for the hunt that had brought two weapons, a Remington
- 39:27Speaker 3: three seventy five rifle and a Brown Browning twelve gage shotgun.
- 39:33Speaker 2: I want to know why they took two, but that's.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Okay, one for each of them. I guess. Well, Bianca
- 39:43Speaker 1: did not kill a leopard by she didn't kill numerous
- 39:47Speaker 1: other animals on their trip, including a hippo, zebra, a warthog,
- 39:53Speaker 1: and an impala.
- 39:56Speaker 2: She killed pumba.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Larry did not actively. I just want you
- 40:02Speaker 1: to remember that she hung to the zebra because I'm
- 40:05Speaker 1: going to point something out later, So just ring over that,
- 40:08Speaker 1: all right, Larry did not actively hunt on the trip,
- 40:12Speaker 1: do it? Two limitations on permits. The trip was drawing
- 40:16Speaker 1: to a close and they had one more night at
- 40:19Speaker 1: the cabin.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Now.
- 40:23Speaker 3: At approximately five point thirty am on October eleventh, twenty sixteen,
- 40:29Speaker 3: a shot and a scream rang out in the remote
- 40:32Speaker 3: lodging area spencer Kakuma and hunting guide Mark Swanapole were
- 40:39Speaker 3: nearby and ran to Rudolph's cabin. They found Larry Rudolph's
- 40:43Speaker 3: shouting for help and Bianca Rudolph on the floor bleeding
- 40:49Speaker 3: from a large wound.
- 40:50Speaker 2: In her chest. Swanna Pole said that the.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Browning shotgun was nearby on the floor, sticking out of
- 40:57Speaker 3: a partially zipped soft sided case with a large hole
- 41:01Speaker 3: from the blast.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Hmmm interesting now. Kakoma said that he and Swanapple had
- 41:10Speaker 1: only been about thirty yards away and they made it
- 41:14Speaker 1: to the cabin cavin in roughly fifteen seconds to find
- 41:18Speaker 1: Rudolph's all sobbing. Let me just kill myself because my
- 41:24Speaker 1: wife she just committed suicide. She just killed herself. I
- 41:27Speaker 1: just want to kill myself. Also, Rudolph said he had
- 41:31Speaker 1: been in the bathroom when his wife shot herself, and
- 41:34Speaker 1: he was so distraught he immediately ran to the nearby riverbank,
- 41:39Speaker 1: saying he was going to drown himself. Oh, Tacoma topped
- 41:44Speaker 1: to Larry down and they returned to the cabin. And
- 41:48Speaker 1: two points, how did he go straight to suicide when
- 41:52Speaker 1: there was a hole in the case? What a weird
- 41:53Speaker 1: fricking thing to say. Seems more like your first off
- 41:57Speaker 1: would be like an accident and Venice sue side right.
- 42:01Speaker 1: You wouldn't want to just go to suicide first. That's weird.
- 42:03Speaker 1: And two, sir, that was dramatics are a bit over
- 42:07Speaker 1: the top. I don't even think I did my rendition justice,
- 42:10Speaker 1: to be quite honest.
- 42:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I think Buffy would do a great
- 42:15Speaker 3: reenactment of it.
- 42:18Speaker 2: But I'm sorry.
- 42:20Speaker 3: If there's a hole in the rifle case, why would
- 42:24Speaker 3: you instantly go to suicide?
- 42:27Speaker 2: And she was happy? Y'all were laughing she killed all
- 42:29Speaker 2: these animals. Why was she depressed?
- 42:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's weird except for she's sorry. Wow, don't worry,
- 42:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna joke with that later.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Now.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Kathui National Park investigator masamuse Say found the crime scene
- 42:47Speaker 3: to be troubling. The barrel of the shotgun was so long,
- 42:51Speaker 3: he wondered how she could have pulled the trigger.
- 42:54Speaker 2: With it facing her.
- 42:56Speaker 3: He later said, I suspected this to be foul play
- 43:00Speaker 3: because the way the firearm was lying, the way the
- 43:03Speaker 3: deceased was lying, the way the bullet went through. Because
- 43:07Speaker 3: to me to say that she shot herself, uh, I'm sorry.
- 43:12Speaker 2: I doubt it.
- 43:13Speaker 3: And let's not forget that Bianca was an experienced hunter
- 43:17Speaker 3: and guys, she would have known better than to aim
- 43:21Speaker 3: a weapon at herself even if she thought it was unloaded.
- 43:26Speaker 1: M doesn't make no sense.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Oh were you peeing?
- 43:30Speaker 1: I was not peeing. I was pouring more wine, you guys. Okay.
- 43:38Speaker 1: But there was another inconsistency, by the way, because scout
- 43:41Speaker 1: Spencer Cocoma watched Bianca unload and cleaned the rifle the
- 43:47Speaker 1: previous night, as they did after each and every hunt
- 43:50Speaker 1: as part of their safety protocol. So he's like, what
- 43:54Speaker 1: why is this?
- 43:56Speaker 3: So why would is she reloaded somebody into inntionally loaded it?
- 44:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Now, when Rudolph was interviewed by the Zambian police, his
- 44:07Speaker 3: story had changed. He no longer thought that Bianca had
- 44:13Speaker 3: died by suicide, but this had been a tragic accident.
- 44:19Speaker 3: Bianca had shot herself while packing up the shotgun, all
- 44:23Speaker 3: while Larry had been taking a shower. The interview lasted
- 44:27Speaker 3: about thirty minutes. Police Commander Ross Stone Yaya yanga, Okay,
- 44:33Speaker 3: story guy said simply I believed him because I wasn't there.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Okay, sir, that is not good it's not good detective work.
- 44:47Speaker 2: You know, criminals lie, right, sir, right.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Let get out of here anyway. Kacoma was shocked to
- 44:56Speaker 1: hear this new version of the story, especially because Rudolph
- 45:00Speaker 1: had been fully dressed wearing shoes less than a minute
- 45:05Speaker 1: after the gunshot. He told police he'd only been wearing
- 45:09Speaker 1: a towel.
- 45:11Speaker 3: So my first thought in question here is how did
- 45:16Speaker 3: he lie about having a mistress for twenty years? Because
- 45:19Speaker 3: let me tell you, he sucks it lying.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I think she knew about it.
- 45:24Speaker 2: I I yeah.
- 45:25Speaker 3: But now Kukoma and Musseyse voice their concerns to the police.
- 45:33Speaker 3: Mussese later said, the Zambian police told me that they
- 45:37Speaker 3: would really investigate the issue.
- 45:40Speaker 2: They didn't.
- 45:43Speaker 3: I'm going to just go on the limb and say
- 45:47Speaker 3: thank you eighties music man.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I thought she's good. Oh, africantings are hard, so
- 45:57Speaker 1: we have little cheat sheets throughout this. She's doing great
- 46:01Speaker 1: nailing it because she has all the names. For some reason,
- 46:04Speaker 1: that wasn't on purpose.
- 46:05Speaker 3: Y'all did it on purpose because you know I was
- 46:07Speaker 3: going to do a bad job at it.
- 46:09Speaker 2: So it's okay, it's.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Not a promise. So the police confiscated the shotgun and
- 46:15Speaker 1: a ballistics expert performed multiple drop tests to try to
- 46:20Speaker 1: recreate an accidental shot. The expert found that the gun
- 46:24Speaker 1: did not missfire during the course of the test. The
- 46:27Speaker 1: gun was returned to Rudolph and a forensic pathologist examined
- 46:32Speaker 1: the body and found the cause of death to be
- 46:35Speaker 1: a hemorrhetic shot, an emascrated left side of heart, and
- 46:41Speaker 1: perforated lung from gunshot injury. That's a big shotgun.
- 46:48Speaker 2: It's got to kill big animals.
- 46:50Speaker 1: I know saying that big.
- 46:53Speaker 3: Okay, you leave my Saint Louis alone. Okay, Kevin, I'll
- 46:59Speaker 3: take that out of you next weekend. Now, the police
- 47:03Speaker 3: investigators found the scene to match Rudolph's story. I don't
- 47:08Speaker 3: know what scene they were looking at, but okay. They
- 47:11Speaker 3: believe that the shotgun had discharged while inside of the case,
- 47:15Speaker 3: about three feet away from Bianca, and that Larry had
- 47:18Speaker 3: tried to recitate resuscitate his wife. I mean, guys, am,
- 47:23Speaker 3: I taking crazy pills, because if the gun didn't misfire
- 47:28Speaker 3: when dropped, I would to go off in a case
- 47:31Speaker 3: three feet away with nothing to pull the trigger.
- 47:34Speaker 1: That makes sense.
- 47:36Speaker 3: Happy birthday, girl, I I'm going to just say right now, Bs,
- 47:46Speaker 3: I'm calling bullshit. Doesn't happen now, Like call the mystery
- 47:51Speaker 3: machine because this may be the work of a ghost.
- 47:57Speaker 3: And exactly how does one attempt to resuscitate someone who
- 48:00Speaker 3: has been shot through the heart, Because the witnesses didn't
- 48:07Speaker 3: mention that, and I one, and I'm sure I'm not
- 48:11Speaker 3: the only one. I'm glad that Commander Yayanga has since
- 48:15Speaker 3: retired because I don't think he was doing a great job.
- 48:19Speaker 1: No, he would have literally had blood all over him
- 48:23Speaker 1: and he was trying to all over him.
- 48:26Speaker 2: I mean, Scooby and the gang would have figured that
- 48:29Speaker 2: out exactly.
- 48:32Speaker 1: So the Zambian police concluded that this was all a
- 48:36Speaker 1: tragic accident. Rudolph quickly called the US embassy to report
- 48:41Speaker 1: that his wife had died of an accidental gun shot
- 48:44Speaker 1: round right, not suicide anymore. He then told them that
- 48:49Speaker 1: he wanted to have her cremated in Zambia and plan
- 48:53Speaker 1: his trip back home. The cremation request was granted, but
- 48:58Speaker 1: it did raise a red flag for the embassy consular cheap.
- 49:02Speaker 1: He needed to identify the body for himself first and
- 49:06Speaker 1: hurry to ideal funeral home in Lusaka with two other
- 49:11Speaker 1: embassy officials, and I love that it says ideal funeral
- 49:18Speaker 1: home on the side with a hummer herself.
- 49:20Speaker 3: Friend, I do, I'm sorry, I have to go back, Buffy.
- 49:27Speaker 3: What did you do to your cat to make your
- 49:28Speaker 3: cat throw up in your bed to say happy birthday
- 49:31Speaker 3: to you? I mean I could see it bringing you
- 49:33Speaker 3: a dead mouse or something. So what did you do
- 49:36Speaker 3: to that poor kids?
- 49:39Speaker 2: Yes, sirs.
- 49:42Speaker 1: So. After seeing the wound, he proceeded to photograph the
- 49:46Speaker 1: body in an attempt to preserve any potential evidence and
- 49:50Speaker 1: bless this man okay as a former marine with decades
- 49:53Speaker 1: of experience on weapons. He recorded that the bullet wound
- 49:57Speaker 1: was straight on the heart, that it was not a
- 50:00Speaker 1: tight group of pellets, but was about six meters in diameter,
- 50:05Speaker 1: and noted a second injury caused by wadding from a
- 50:09Speaker 1: shotgun cartridge. This injury suggested to him that Bianca had
- 50:14Speaker 1: been shot from a distance of six and a half
- 50:16Speaker 1: to eight feet, which is pretty freaking close range.
- 50:21Speaker 2: I'm no, six and a half to eight feet and
- 50:25Speaker 2: it's not I know close.
- 50:27Speaker 1: It's close because I'm like the gun that's that big.
- 50:31Speaker 3: But for her to have shot herself by accidentally dropping it.
- 50:36Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I saw the small those cabins were,
- 50:43Speaker 1: so I mean like, yeah.
- 50:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I've shot one of those shotguns before, and I
- 50:53Speaker 3: will tell you I walked away with a bruise that
- 50:57Speaker 3: covered my shoulder and one of the girls, I mean,
- 51:01Speaker 3: they will kick your butt.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Now, guys, are you ready?
- 51:07Speaker 3: Larry was livid when he learned that the counselor Chief
- 51:10Speaker 3: had visited the funeral home and photographed Bianca's body.
- 51:15Speaker 1: How damn it.
- 51:17Speaker 3: The councilor Chief still needed to collect Bianca's passport and
- 51:20Speaker 3: met with Larry and Mark Swanepoole at the crematorium. The
- 51:24Speaker 3: chief offered to help Larry notify the family, and Larry
- 51:28Speaker 3: told them that he preferred to tell the family personally.
- 51:32Speaker 3: He also told him that the children were his from
- 51:35Speaker 3: a previous marriage and not biologically related to Bianca.
- 51:42Speaker 2: What they like that because he's trying to do the
- 51:51Speaker 2: crawfish crawl now.
- 51:55Speaker 3: He also asked a lot of questions about who would
- 51:57Speaker 3: have access to any police records about the accident. The
- 52:02Speaker 3: chief made him nervous.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Let's just be honest, yes, very much so. So obviously
- 52:11Speaker 1: all of this led to the consular chief to contact
- 52:15Speaker 1: the SBI and tell them that he had a bad
- 52:18Speaker 1: feeling about the situation and so did defend. When they
- 52:24Speaker 1: looked into Rudolph's many many insurance policies on Bianca, there
- 52:29Speaker 1: were nine policies in Beyonca's name, totally just under five
- 52:36Speaker 1: million dollars. What nine nine policies? I don't know if
- 52:47Speaker 1: I've ever seen one a case that had that many
- 52:50Speaker 1: life insurance policies.
- 52:51Speaker 2: I want to know the date they were taken.
- 52:53Speaker 1: Out there on that chart, now.
- 52:55Speaker 2: That's the claim date and the date the claim paid.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Oh my god, I want to know the daity took
- 53:01Speaker 1: him out.
- 53:04Speaker 3: I could see him having that much on him because
- 53:06Speaker 3: he owned a chain of practices.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Why her, she was a stay at home mom. Why
- 53:12Speaker 2: does she need to be covered for fight million dollars? Oh? No, okay,
- 53:20Speaker 2: sus okay.
- 53:23Speaker 3: Now, Bianca Rudolph was cremated three days after her death,
- 53:27Speaker 3: and Larry Rudolph flew back to Pennsylvania his her children.
- 53:32Speaker 3: Guys didn't know she died until a week after her death.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Not suspicious at all, guys, That to me is another crime. Yeah,
- 53:48Speaker 1: I mean, especially when said that he was a good dat.
- 53:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:52Speaker 3: According to one of Bianca's friends. Many of her family
- 53:55Speaker 3: and friends did not know about the death until the funeral.
- 54:01Speaker 3: I mean, guys, surprise party suck. I mean, I wouldn't know.
- 54:03Speaker 3: I've never had one. But surprise funerals are just cruel.
- 54:09Speaker 3: I mean no, no. Larry and Bianca's children had a
- 54:14Speaker 3: lot of questions, but their father didn't want to talk
- 54:19Speaker 3: about it. He insisted that it was an accident and
- 54:23Speaker 3: he gave them no details. Guys, Remember his son is
- 54:27Speaker 3: an attorney. You can't tell me his son did not
- 54:30Speaker 3: have a lot.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Of questions, right right? Oh. Kaptin says the earliest policy
- 54:35Speaker 1: was from eighty seven, most were from twenty sixteen, and
- 54:38Speaker 1: the old ones were updated in twenty sixteen. So ooh,
- 54:43Speaker 1: that's not good for you, Larry.
- 54:45Speaker 2: That's not oh oh my gosh.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Y yay surprise and Fuffy and I didn't happen for that.
- 54:56Speaker 3: There was just glitter bomb on the photo, but not
- 54:59Speaker 3: in real life.
- 55:03Speaker 1: That's true. So one of Bianca's friends helped get the
- 55:08Speaker 1: investigation rolling. The red flag for her was the cremation,
- 55:13Speaker 1: because Bianca was a strict Catholic and has said she
- 55:16Speaker 1: did not want to be cremated. Co Hold on. Sorry,
- 55:21Speaker 1: we're behind here. The friend told the FBI that Larry
- 55:25Speaker 1: had been verbally abusive to Bianca, that he was cheating
- 55:29Speaker 1: on her, and that the couple fought over money. She said,
- 55:33Speaker 1: Larry is never going to divorce her because he doesn't
- 55:36Speaker 1: want to lose his money, and she's never going to
- 55:39Speaker 1: divorce him because of her Catholicism. Now the federal case
- 55:45Speaker 1: begins to take sheep. Oh, it's not great. One offends
- 55:49Speaker 1: her home.
- 55:50Speaker 3: It's not And I just want to say to any
- 55:52Speaker 3: other woman who is Catholic and married, you can get
- 55:59Speaker 3: a divorce in Catholicism. You go to the priest and
- 56:03Speaker 3: you talk to them. I did it, Okay, you can Now.
- 56:09Speaker 3: It's not the taboo like it was back in the
- 56:12Speaker 3: eighties or nineties. You do not have to stay married
- 56:15Speaker 3: to a man that is verbally abusive to you and
- 56:17Speaker 3: cheating on you. Okay, if you are in that situation,
- 56:21Speaker 3: call me. I'll help you figure out what to say
- 56:23Speaker 3: the priest. Now, within a month, Larry started following claims
- 56:28Speaker 3: on all of Bianca's insurance policies.
- 56:33Speaker 2: Now, remember that.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Hunting guide Mark Swanapole at the camp Well, he personally
- 56:40Speaker 3: spoke to all of the insurance companies and told them
- 56:43Speaker 3: that it was an accident, specifically saying that she could
- 56:46Speaker 3: reach the trigger despite the gun's thirty one inch barrel
- 56:52Speaker 3: and her being a five foot four woman. He suggested
- 56:56Speaker 3: that she could reach with her long fingernails.
- 57:00Speaker 1: For fock's sake, how are you so bad at this?
- 57:05Speaker 1: Swanabul and Larry, both of you.
- 57:09Speaker 3: I wonder did he have a double indemnity policy on
- 57:13Speaker 3: any of those where if it was an accident, they
- 57:16Speaker 3: paid double.
- 57:17Speaker 1: Probably I don't know that to be true, but it
- 57:22Speaker 1: wouldn't surpice me. Yeah, now, or maybe those were the
- 57:25Speaker 1: double amounts.
- 57:26Speaker 2: May okay.
- 57:27Speaker 3: Between his statements and the investigation from the Zambient police,
- 57:31Speaker 3: the policy's paid out. He also kept the entirety of
- 57:35Speaker 3: their fourteen million dollar fortune, even though half of it
- 57:41Speaker 3: should have become property of her state, which would have
- 57:45Speaker 3: been passed on to their children. Guys, I just need
- 57:48Speaker 3: to stop a dentist fourteen million dollars now, I know
- 57:54Speaker 3: why after insurance of paying eighty percent, I still have
- 57:58Speaker 3: to pay eight hundred and fifty eight dollars one broot canal.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Yep, yep, It's a racket. It's a racket. Well, in
- 58:12Speaker 1: January of twenty seventeen, so we're talking a couple months
- 58:17Speaker 1: after Beyonca's death, Laurie moved in with Larry, of course
- 58:21Speaker 1: she did. Around the same time. Mark Swanepole was paid
- 58:26Speaker 1: thirty thousand dollars by Rudolph, and he received an additional
- 58:32Speaker 1: twenty three thousand dollars two months later. Sometimes I can't
- 58:38Speaker 1: even really comprehend how stupid people are. Okay, so if
- 58:42Speaker 1: he paid mo, you paid him. You guys gotta figure
- 58:44Speaker 1: that out.
- 58:45Speaker 3: Do you know how much money that is over in
- 58:48Speaker 3: Antania a time? That's like a million dollars to them.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Why else would you say just got money?
- 58:56Speaker 3: Haveing that suspicious?
- 59:01Speaker 1: Oh well, I'm pretty sure the FOD found is suspicious.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Let's find out.
- 59:05Speaker 2: Eventually.
- 59:06Speaker 3: The photographs of Beianga's body made it back to a
- 59:08Speaker 3: Colorado medical examiner, who concluded that it would be physically
- 59:14Speaker 3: impossible to accidentally fire this shotgun in its carrying case
- 59:20Speaker 3: and produce the entrance defect noted on the body of
- 59:24Speaker 3: missus Rudolph. The tip of the carrying case was most
- 59:28Speaker 3: likely at least two feet from miss Rudolph when the
- 59:31Speaker 3: weapon was discharged, regardless if it was on a cylinder
- 59:36Speaker 3: or full choke settings. Father, it would be extremely difficult,
- 59:41Speaker 3: if not impossible, for missus Rudolph to reach the trigger
- 59:45Speaker 3: of this weapon, even if it was placed in the
- 59:49Speaker 3: case with the muzzle pressed against her chest. We knew it, guys,
- 59:55Speaker 3: that action hero Embassy guy told us. But yes, guys,
- 59:59Speaker 3: obviously Leeps Bianca did not have bigfoot arms.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: She did not.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: This whole accident story was bonker. I mean, it just
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: it was bumper.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: It's wild. So by twenty twenty one, Lauri and Larry
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: had begun building their own dream mansion in Paradise Valley
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: in Arizona. Laurie didn't want to live in the old
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: mansion since it had been his and beyond home. They
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: also bought a condo in Cavot and traveled there regularly.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: They were just absolutely living it up put in their dream.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: That December, they flew to Cavo to celebrate Christmas. They
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: were met on the tarmac by Mexican police. Also say, does.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: Anyone find it interesting she doesn't mind sleeping with another
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: woman's husban's been for twenty years, but she doesn't want
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: to live in that woman's house.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Apparently, though they never moved into this house, but.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: Bookie trone man. Now.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Finally, a little over five years after Bianca Rudolph's death,
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: Larry Rudolph was arrested for murdering his wife in defrauding
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: seven insurance companies. Returned Larry and Laurie to the US,
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: and Larry was taken to jail in Colorado. Why Colorado,
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: you ask? Colorado was the home of one of the
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: insurance companies that Rudolph had received money from, and it
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: was the home of the FBI Dinver Division, who took
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: the lead on the federal investigation.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: He has such a punchable face.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: He does I.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I don't like him.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: I don't like him.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: I don't like him, So they have the David filed
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: for Rudolph's arrest included a thorough breakdown of the facts
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: my FBI Special Agent Donald Peterson. It included testimony from
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: the Zimbian witnesses and experts, financial details on the various
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: insurance policies, and details of the investigations done by the
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: insurance company. Because you know.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Now, guess what, guys.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: It also included facts found by the FBI's investigation.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Why that's down.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: You're the best.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: You're the best of that now, like I said.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: Included facts by the FBI's investigation, including testimony from Mark
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: Swandapol's ex wife, who had socialized many times with Bianca
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: and Larry over minty mini hunting trips. She was uncomfortable
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: about the rush nature of the cremation and Larry's lack
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: of concern over Bianca's Catholic tradition. She took it upon
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: herself to dress Bianca's body in black and place across
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: around her neck before her cremation. She had also seen
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: Larry bribe a worker to expedite the cremation.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Oh what a nice lady. I know, but I just
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: got a dick. But whatever, she seems lovely. Yeah, she
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: seems lovely. An employee from the dental office also testified,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: saying that Larry's girlfriend, Laurie, had given him an ultimatum
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: to sell his practice and leave Bianca within the year,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: and that she suspected Larry and Laurie had stockpiled the
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: cash earned at the dental's office. All together from the
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: FBI had probable cause. Oh boy, did they I mean.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: You?
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I I'm sorry.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: Laurie is just as culpable in this, but I'm not
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: going to say that, but that's my thoughts. The FBI
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: had also used various tests to prove that Bianca could
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: not have shot herself. They worked with an anthroo pometer,
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: anthrow palm tree that specialist from Ohio represent, I mean
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: that is the scientific study of the measurement and proportions
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: of the human body. Why can't we just say that
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: instead of calling it an anthrow whatever. It's usually used
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: more for product development. But the FBI asked the founder,
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: Bruce bratt Miller, to test their theory. About fifty local
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: women of similar stature to Bianca's volunteered to attempt three
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: tests to recreate Bianca's death.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Yes, of all the tests.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: And of all the volunteers, one woman was able to
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: just barely pass one of the reach test with significant effort.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: As you can see the lady in the picture there, yeah,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: trying to like, like, look how massive that freaking gun is.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: There's no way.
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: It is in guys, I don't know if you've ever
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: held a gun in one of these type.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Of carriers, it's you.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: I don't know how they could say you can't put
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: your finger through and pull the trigger even I.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Mean, okay, it don't make no sense. Well, around this time,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the government began to process the process of seizing Larry's
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: assets wah wah, including multiple properties, accounts, a twenty seventeen
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Bentley and the twenty eighteen asketon Martin so Si. Meanwhile,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: remember the kids didn't even get their inheritance. I wonder
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: if anybody stuffed his Bentley and put it on their
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: all about their fireplace, I would have.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Did they call Mark?
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Oh boy?
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Rudolph was remanded without bond on January fourth, twenty twenty two.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: He was indicted the following day. His attorneys released a
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: statement saying doctor Randolph is innocent. The Zambian authorities who
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: were there and investigated said so. The insurance companies who
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: paid the claim after they investigated said so. Strangely, five
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: years later, the FEDS brought charges without any real evidence,
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: no eye witnesses, no forensics, no anything except for some
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: speculation sprinkled into the chasm of conjecture. That is an
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: incredibly fancy rebuttal But guys, I expect nothing less from
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: a rich man's defense.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Attorney, right this guy, and they're doing the job. But like, really, come.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: So they asked the federal judge to release Larry from
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: jail pending trial with supporting affidavids from his children that
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: express their full support. Which crazy quote. We know him
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: better than anyone else and we know that he is innocent,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: they wrote. Which again, they're his kids. I understand what
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: are they going to do?
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Okay, guys, you must remember your brain protects you from
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: things that.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: It thinks you can't handle.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Yeah. Kay wants to believe that it's a wild Yeah.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Now. District Court Judge William J.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: Martinez refused to release Rudolph despite Larry offering to pay
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: for private security guards to monitor him and his home,
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: saying the court is also deeply troubled by any suggestion
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: that the defendant, by virtue of his wealth, should be
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: able to buy his way out of detention by constructing
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: a private jail from the comfort of his girlfriend or
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: relative's home.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Judge Martinez wrote.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Oh, Mike, drop Judge Martinez for the win.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: Thank you, Judge.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, Well, Laurie Milron, look at her. She's looking
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: roughs on't the last pecture I saw her? And testified
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: in front of the grand jury investigating Beyonca's death On
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: January fifth, twenty twenty two, she was asked about her
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: relationship with Rudolph and about cash payments he'd made to
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: her before Beianca's death. She testified that Rudolph was only
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: being generous. When asked about Larry's behavior during the investigation,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: she replied that he was irritated because he was probably innocent,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: and Larry's children reported that they received abusive text messages
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: from Laurie after Larry's arrest. Oh wicked stepmother?
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Did she say probably in this probably yeah, i'd be
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: Could you not have chose your words a little better?
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: Lorii, Lord, Laurie lor Now Laurie was allowed to return
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: to Arizona, but guys, on February fifteenth, she was arrested.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: She was charged with obstruction, perjury, and being an accessory
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: after the fact. She turned down a plea deal, refusing
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: to help the prosecution's case, maintaining that Bianca's death was accident.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I did not have the mistress getting arrested all being
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: a card.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: I wanted her arrested just because just.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Because yeah, huzzah okay. So then Larry Rudolph and Laurie
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Milron had a joint trial in a Denver federal courtroom,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: and the trial took thirteen days and they saw fifty witnesses,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: call them a lot of witnesses for that short amount
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: of time.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: But now the prosecution presented their murder case, all of
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: the witnesses, photos and ballistic tests. Larry's children are in
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: court every day, and nothing could have prepared us for
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: those visuals for that testimony. Julian Letter later said it
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: was horrific. Prosecutors also alleged that Larry had built his
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: fortune by committing fraud. They brought up the millions of
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: dollars in disability insurance he had received after shooting off
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: his own thumb.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Oh, so it wasn't It wasn't the crocodile. Oh, I
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: can't believe that.
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, is that the zebra belt on the floor.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: That's a zebra blanket covering her dead bodies. That's what
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I was like. Remember she killed a zebra that day,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: and I just thought that was that was interesting to irony.
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: So the prosecution even alleged that he had cheated his
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: own dental patience for years by personally by purposely doing
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: bad dental work to ensure that they would later need
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: root canals and by drilling holes and their teeth while
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: they were asleep.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: Okay, guys, what the actual fuck Larry?
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: Ask somebody who's having to get a root canal redone.
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: Ten years later, I will say it was very encouraging
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: to hear the end of dauntes say, oh, those were
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: done really well, but it happens. But the fact that
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: you are purposely causing people pain and suffering to make
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: more money wild.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: He is the worst. Everybody stays together class. Larry is
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: the worst. So the prosecution also brought in is surprising
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: final witness, the bartender at Larry and Laurie's favorite watering
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: hole Stake forty four in Phoenix, Arizona. Bartender Brian Lovelace
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: testified that he'd overheard Larry tell Laurie I killed my
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: fooking wife for you while they dined at the bar. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: so Lovelace had told his coworkers this after hearing it,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: and one of them had contacted the FBI after reading
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: about Larry's arrest. Tip your servers, people, and as a
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: former server, if your table says something weird, ex weird,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: there's something going on. They have told everybody that they
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: work with about it.
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: But you're to say you might not want to confess
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: to killing someone or committing a crime where your server
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: can hear.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: You, because they are going right back to that kitchen
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: and being like what you guys, guess what I just heard.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: I mean, kudos to them for not just letting it
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: go and actually doing something about it.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Yes, yes, agreed, that is very true, perhaps on because
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: I don't.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: Know if I would want to get involved.
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: I mean, kudos in the defense presented beyonc as well
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: Will that did say she wanted to be cremated, and
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: the manual that came with the shotgun that said there
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: was a risk of misfire if dropped. Their star witness
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: was Larry himself, who wanted to testify.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Of course he did. Of course he did. Of course
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: he did. Let's see what this face wants to.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: I think he should have met up a Lori Vallo.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: I think they would have been great in Arizona. I
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: know that. So what I'm saying they I just put
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: it together.
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: Yeah, now the stand he said, I did not kill
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: my wife.
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: I could not murder my wife. I would not murder
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: my wife.
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: He cried as he apologized to children for the pain
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: the trial was causing them.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Shut the fuck up, Larry. Sorry. The jury foreman later
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: said in an interview she noticed that when Larry cried,
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: there weren't any real tears.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Not even crocodile tears. No. Sorry, I didn't even write that.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: One just came out annoying. Oh did he get his
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: test the mommy tips from Alec Murdoch, because I think, so,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: what speaking that's true?
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: I just read and I don't remember who it is,
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: but that is probably going to share be in the
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: same prison as day Bell. It'll come from Coburg co worker,
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: thank you, Yeah.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Yeah, because they're both Max security, though Devel will be
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: on the death row levels, but co worker will be
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: in max security until he levels down, which takes a while.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: It takes quite a few years to lower your security level.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: So they actually won't see each other because Dave Bell
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: is on death row now. Anyway. Unfortunately for Larry getting
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: on the stand neck getting on the stand meant giving
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: the prosecution the chance to cross examine him. Yeah, Arry,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: so he don't take the stand brow. They asked him
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: about the fact that he testified to being in the
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: shower when beyond the die and showed a crime scene
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: photo of him neatly dressed with a belt and his
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: shirt tucked in exhibit whatever. Right there, that is Larry
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: dressed with a belt on next to his west and
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: body covered in a zebra plankan he allus So they
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: asked him about the gun, and he said he had
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: paid to have it taken away by trash callers two
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: years after the accident. He told them, quote, I'm not
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: a gun guy, which is a pretty bold claim for
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: an avid trophy hunter. You're not a gun.
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: Okay, wait a minute, So you like to hunt and
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: kill big game animals, but you're not a gun guy.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Yeah right, he's not a gun guy, you guys. Okay,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: that makes sense.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. Now.
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: They also brought up that pesky legal action with Safari
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: Club International is part of that lawsuit. He'd given a
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: deposition in which he said he was not an adulterer.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: The prosecution made him admit on the stand to previously
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: lying under oath.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Oh one, very well, you guys. Fairy tales do come true.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Because Larry Rudolph and Laurie Milron were both found guilty
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: of the charges against them. Oh no, many jurors who
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: were undecided before Larry's testimony, thought he was guilty after
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: he testified. That's why I don't take the sand. Larry's
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: only interaction with Laurie in the courtroom was waving goodbye
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: to her. Awesome quick shout out to I might say
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: your name wrong, miho oconn ocon for their courtroom sketches.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: I love their style. I love courtroom sketches.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: I did you These are great?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: They're so great they did. I love the style, the watercolor.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: I love whoever you are. Mayho o'con.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: Great job, great, We've you've got fans. Yes now.
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: Larry was sentenced to life in prison and Laurie was
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: sentenced to seventeen years in prison, which was an upward
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: departure for her charges. The judge cided that she showed
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: no remorse and had gone out of her way to
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: show cruelty to Bianca Rudolph's children, because if you want
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: to go look up you can see some of the
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: text and things she sent to his children.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: She was horrible.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: I did not look up the text. Oh I'm going
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: to how I did it, but it is horrible. Wow. Well.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: At Laurie's sentencing, Anna Beyonca Rudolph spoke saying, quote, Laurie,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: you have taken my parents, but despite everything you have done,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: you will never take my solf. This might be difficult
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: to understand because you don't have one burn baby, Yes,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: get her Bianca. And Bianca seemed genuinely heartbroken, to the
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: point of putting all of the blame on Laurie directly
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: after the trial, and that that is despite a particularly
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: gross a jail call between her and her father in
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: which he tells his daughter that he didn't love Laurie,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: saying quote, get your bark, guys ready, everybody, Quote Daddy
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: just needed somebody to have sex with. I mean, why
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: would you say that, Larry to your daughter?
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: Exactly?
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: I mean.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: I yeah.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: Now, Julian felt differently. He letters later said the trial
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: was eye opening and that seeing the prosecution's evidence. Remember guy,
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: he's an attorney. Okay, he's an at journey he thought.
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: He said, the evidence brought a lot of clarity and
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: answered a lot of questions for us.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: For that, he says he is eternally.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: Grateful to the federal prosecutors and various investigators who bought
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: brought the truth about his mother's death to light.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Well that's they like doing Westerns oil paintings.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: Oh that's cool. Well that is the end of that
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: tragic story. We'll go on to our closing thoughts. And really,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: all I have to say is that Larry is quite
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: literally is the worst. That is all. That's all I
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: have to say it. I have nothing more.
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: I second that, and he is exactly where he needs
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: to be.
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: Oh, yes, that's true.
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: I really really hope he drops the bar soap a
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: whole lot.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I hate those guys so much.
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: That's all I got for him, because he just I'm sorry.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: I got nothing. He's just awful. I've got nothing now.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: And listen, I do not condone beyond because hobbies. If
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: you will, No, I don't like but she don't even
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: like her as a person. But that doesn't mean that
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: she doesn't have to be murdered.
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: I kind of have to wonder thinking about Catholicism and
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: thinking about the fact my mom hunted because my dad did,
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: and she wanted to spend time with my dad and
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: my brother, and you erased to do the hobbies that
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: your husbands do. So I can't help, but wonder did
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: she love it or did she love that he loved it.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: Yeah, well I'll be it sounded like she loved it.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: She would she had a kill list, remember that, Well
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: they went there, she had a kill list. So listen,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: I don't I don't like her.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: I'm trying to give her a little bit.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: It doesn't mean she deserves to be murdered, deserve and
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: she didn't deserve like that ship bag sheill didn't deserve her.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: So she just want to make that clear.
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I do want to know, and I will have
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: to google it.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: Did they at least donate the meat from their kills?
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: I need? I mean, it's not gonna make me like
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: them anymore, but it'll make me feel a little better.
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: And then I'm going to just have to say I'm
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: gonna have to go love on my baby goats after this. Yeah,
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: but they're not gonna watch my brother so anyway, that's yeah,
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: I got nothing.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Else to say, big brothers. It's already happened and they're
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: all waiting on us. But before we go, if you

- 1:24:36Speaker 1: Terry hosts her show Minday Missing, where she covers missing
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: person cases that don't seem to get up a lot
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: of tension. You can also find those on anywhere you
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: listen to podcasts. This Monday, Terry is having dental work done,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: so I'm going to be covering her on Monday. As
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: much as I'm sure it would be hilarious to watch
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Terry on anesthesia trying to do a case, that's probably
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: not appropriate for that show, So I'm going to just
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: say that I'm going to do it for her now.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: For me right now, Couch Court with Lama is a
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: little bit on a hiatus for the month of July.

- 1:26:05Speaker 3: have to enjoy me sleeping, sitting up for two weeks
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: and being on heavy pain medication like doubleh has two.
