  am making wagers. Time to put my money where my

  mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for

  July 14th, 2025. And, well, I mean, it's soccer,

  right? Like it's soccer.

  So shouldn't be surprised when you go for a total, take the

  over, and the over doesn't hit 'cause it's soccer and they

  don't like to score much. Although, to be fair, if you

  think about it in American football terms, it would have

  been 7 to 14, right? So, yeah, it's 2:00 to 1:00.

  That's three. We need 3 1/2.

  Yeah, But anyways, all right, so take the LS today.

  We got the All Star break starting, so we got the the Home
• 0:53
  Run Derby. And I like the Home Run Derby.

  They keep trying to change it up, trying to figure out how to

  make it better for the fans, make it more appetizing for the
• 1:02
  folks watching on TV. I like the way they're putting
• 1:05
  it together tonight. So this is what I'm going to do.

  I'm going to take two folks from my wager today.

  All right. So I'm hoping that one of these
• 1:12
  two players gets to the end and wins.
• 1:15
  And the way that it's set up, hopefully I can get both players
• 1:18
  into the finals and then I'll be sitting on easy money.

  So this is what I'm thinking. I'm I went through, I looked at

  the players, I saw the odds and I'm looking for for, you know,
• 1:28
  value that that's where I think it's at.

  And I think who sets up well for this are these two guys.

  Guys we got James Wood from the Nationals.

  He's a young dude. He's a stud.
• 1:39
  He's got a good swing and he can mash.

  And this would be a wonderful coming out party, if you will,
• 1:46
  for everybody to start knowing who this next guy is.

  Kind of the next Juan Soto, the next, you know, big superstar
• 1:55
  that eventually the nationals are going to lose and who's
• 1:58
  going to go play for somebody else and make big money because

  they don't like to spend. So this is his way of getting on
• 2:04
  the scene and making a lot of money in the next few years.

  Next, we got this other guy, Byron Buxton.

  He's playing with the Twins, but he's from Georgia.
• 2:13
  The Home Run Derby is in Atlanta.
• 2:15
  So he's basically coming home and he's willing or wanting to
• 2:18
  put on a show for all his peeps, right?

  So this is what I'm thinking. We got a guy that's looking into
• 2:24
  the future, makes a lot of money come out to everybody.

  We got another guy that's coming home, wants to put on a show for
• 2:31
  his people, show that he's a hometown tomboy, made good and
• 2:36
  both of them lots of value there.

  They each got a chance and some pretty good odds.

  So that's what we're going to go with.

  So we're going to take Byron Buxton at plus 950 and James
• 2:46
  Woods at plus 475. We're going to hope one of these
• 2:49
  guys can win it in tonight's MLB baseball Home Run Derby, home
• 2:54
