Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: This is a podcast called twenty five whists stuck in
- 0:07Speaker 1: fun Ball and they were a whist so yet it's
- 0:10Speaker 1: too bad, But what did you expect? It's a podcast
- 0:14Speaker 1: called twenty five Whistles.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Twine whin, Oh.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Eddie blow the whistle?
- 0:20Speaker 2: All right?
- 0:20Speaker 3: We went to the super Bowl last night.
- 0:22Speaker 4: It's a terrible game that sounds so cool though it is,
- 0:26Speaker 4: and it'll be something that will get cooler the farther
- 0:31Speaker 4: away you get from it. And I got very fortunate
- 0:33Speaker 4: at the times I got to go, because it wasn't
- 0:35Speaker 4: because I had anything to do with going. So and
- 0:38Speaker 4: I could kind of give you the flip, we'll do
- 0:40Speaker 4: super Bowl first, made the game sucked, we'd remove all
- 0:48Speaker 4: betting aside because I lost every bet.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I mean, yes, let's check that out.
- 0:52Speaker 3: So I lost.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Everybody, that's okay. I think it just full transparence. I
- 0:55Speaker 4: think I lost like three thousand dollars last night. I
- 0:58Speaker 4: kept loading up when the Chiefs were getting further and
- 1:02Speaker 4: further down because I just I think, like most of
- 1:06Speaker 4: America had an expectation that Patrick Mahomes would be Superman.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Instead he was I don't even want to say wonder
- 1:13Speaker 4: Woman because she's superhero too, and that would be very sexist.
- 1:15Speaker 4: So what I will say is he turned out to
- 1:18Speaker 4: be I don't know, who's one of the bad ones.
- 1:22Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:22Speaker 4: I'm trying to think because even the bad guys like
- 1:24Speaker 4: the villains Aretty Good, they wouldn't have made it to
- 1:25Speaker 4: the major leagues of fights, the super videos, you know what.
- 1:28Speaker 3: I mean, right right, So I'll just say it was bad.
- 1:30Speaker 4: It was a terrible performance, But I don't think that
- 1:33Speaker 4: it was a Patrick Mahomes sucks performance as much as
- 1:37Speaker 4: it was that Kansaity offensive line. They have been patching
- 1:41Speaker 4: it together all year. You got a guard playing tackle,
- 1:44Speaker 4: you got them barely winning a bunch of games you
- 1:48Speaker 4: have and more than that, you had that front four
- 1:53Speaker 4: from Philadelphia. They're just domint no dominated. They what was
- 1:57Speaker 4: it like, the second lowest blitz rate in all time
- 2:00Speaker 4: And when you're front four are getting pressure and allows
- 2:02Speaker 4: everybody else to not have to blit, it's very difficult.
- 2:05Speaker 4: And Mahomes had no time to do anything. So yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 4: as a bad game for Patrick Mahomes. But if we've
- 2:11Speaker 4: seen if Patrick Mahomes is any time to do anything,
- 2:15Speaker 4: he does it. He had no time, dude, he was
- 2:16Speaker 4: getting s sack sack sack sack, So bad game, good
- 2:22Speaker 4: for the Eagles. Very passionate fans. They're annoying, But I
- 2:26Speaker 4: like that. I like passionate annoying fans because that means
- 2:29Speaker 4: they're really passionate. That the arena was eighty five percent
- 2:32Speaker 4: seventy five percent Eagles fans.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Probably, Oh yeah for Estill.
- 2:35Speaker 4: And if you're a Chiefs fan, you're the only team
- 2:38Speaker 4: to ever have a shot at a three peat.
- 2:40Speaker 3: That's pretty cool. You didn't win, it sucks.
- 2:42Speaker 4: You would have loved to have been the first team
- 2:44Speaker 4: to ever do it, because then you'd have been in
- 2:46Speaker 4: the conversation of the greatest dynasty ever. But now it's
- 2:49Speaker 4: going to take another three years or so for them
- 2:51Speaker 4: to get back to that. Hey, are they now the
- 2:53Speaker 4: greatest dynasty? And is Patrick Mahomes the greatest ever? I
- 2:56Speaker 4: think he had an argument if he was the first
- 2:58Speaker 4: one to three peat. Now he's got to get seven,
- 3:02Speaker 4: possibly eight rings to beat Brady or do something like
- 3:06Speaker 4: three peats. So Patriots fans, big sigh of relief. Patrick
- 3:11Speaker 4: Mahomes not a good game. Travis Kelcey not a good game.
- 3:14Speaker 4: But mostly it was that the Eagles had an awesome game.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Eagles were fantastic, beautiful day to be a Patriot fan.
- 3:19Speaker 3: We had fair seats.
- 3:24Speaker 4: I don't know, they're fine, but in the Super Bowl
- 3:27Speaker 4: everything they were good. And this listen I looked before
- 3:30Speaker 4: I went on. I didn't want to say it to everybody.
- 3:32Speaker 4: I could have sold all six tickets seventeen thousand dollars and.
- 3:36Speaker 3: That's just money I just could have kept.
- 3:39Speaker 4: But this is the but I didn't spend that for them,
- 3:41Speaker 4: So it wasn't like I lost the money. And you'll
- 3:45Speaker 4: hear the scavenger hunt as we move on here. So
- 3:48Speaker 4: I don't want even want it to be like I
- 3:50Speaker 4: spent that because I didn't. I as part of my
- 3:53Speaker 4: contract with NFL, part of because I get paidtual money
- 4:00Speaker 4: to believe it or not, but they also buy the
- 4:03Speaker 4: NFL give me as give me four tickets, and they
- 4:05Speaker 4: were like, hey, you can use them or you can
- 4:06Speaker 4: sell them.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Like it wasn't like I had to.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Be there, but what we what I needed to be
- 4:10Speaker 4: there for was to do a bunch of the interviews
- 4:11Speaker 4: EMT Smith and Deon Sanders coming up. So I didn't
- 4:14Speaker 4: spend it on it, but I had them and then
- 4:15Speaker 4: I got it's coming up, right, Mike, all that, so
- 4:19Speaker 4: I didn't want to say everything that happened. You can
- 4:22Speaker 4: listen to it if you'd like. I think it was
- 4:24Speaker 4: a really fun week. I'm exhausted. So this first segment
- 4:28Speaker 4: is not going to be long because we were gone
- 4:32Speaker 4: Tuesday until we got back Monday morning in time to
- 4:35Speaker 4: do the radio show. Like I went to bed at
- 4:38Speaker 4: two am and the show started at five.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Man, the night was quick, Yeah, it was.
- 4:43Speaker 5: It was.
- 4:43Speaker 4: And I'll but this audience, I'll have full transparency because
- 4:47Speaker 4: this is not a Gen Pop audience on Gen Pop
- 4:50Speaker 4: show radio show, it's a little more hey, because people
- 4:55Speaker 4: are passive listening. Don't say things that could alienate people,
- 5:00Speaker 4: make them feel differently. It's a different environment if you
- 5:04Speaker 4: listen broadcast when there's passive listening.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Versus if you guys are here with us, you know us.
- 5:09Speaker 4: And I feel like I can say things with nuance
- 5:11Speaker 4: and you'll have an understanding of it. So this next
- 5:13Speaker 4: story I say because of that, we go to the game,
- 5:18Speaker 4: we have to get back to work, so we fly
- 5:22Speaker 4: privately from New Orleans right after the game back to Nashville.
- 5:29Speaker 4: So we go to the private airport. We have a
- 5:33Speaker 4: plane and there's there's eight of us. It's our whole crew.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Plus I won't build their spots up, not that there's
- 5:43Speaker 4: anything to blow up. But it was just two people
- 5:44Speaker 4: that I work with in other capacities. They were flying
- 5:47Speaker 4: back and in case they didn't tell their wives or so,
- 5:50Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 5:51Speaker 3: It just doesn't matter who it was. They weren't up
- 5:53Speaker 3: to no good. I just it's just not it's you know,
- 5:56Speaker 3: it's not the story.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Yeah whatever.
- 5:59Speaker 4: So this is just a couple of small stories from afterward.
- 6:04Speaker 4: So obviously the president was there. And whenever the president's somewhere,
- 6:07Speaker 4: and I've had this happen before, nobody goes anywhere.
- 6:10Speaker 3: The president was at the game, yes and no. And
- 6:12Speaker 3: his plane was at the airport.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Was he at our airport?
- 6:15Speaker 4: Well, that's the airport. Oh dang, Well that's the biggest
- 6:20Speaker 4: private airport. That's where he was.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Wow.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Until he went up, we couldn't go. And not only that,
- 6:27Speaker 4: you have to reserve slots out. Usually I only say
- 6:31Speaker 4: this to you guys, because I know you don't think
- 6:34Speaker 4: we're any different, better or worse.
- 6:36Speaker 3: When I tell these stories.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Usually what happens is if you're flying private. It doesn't
- 6:39Speaker 4: matter when if you say you got eleven o'clock flight,
- 6:41Speaker 4: you get the eleven twenty eleven thirty.
- 6:43Speaker 3: It don't matter. There's no TSA.
- 6:44Speaker 4: You just get on with your Bayer crap and you
- 6:46Speaker 4: just go and the pilots are there and you just
- 6:48Speaker 4: do your thing.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Because the super Bowl it just lined up.
- 6:53Speaker 4: You had to purchase a slot to get out so
- 6:56Speaker 4: you could be sure to get out. And we get
- 6:59Speaker 4: to the private airport and it's jammed, and I've never
- 7:03Speaker 4: seen so many rich people my life. Like, it's just crazy.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Like I got I would say I have new work money,
- 7:11Speaker 4: meaning I have new money, and if I'm gonna spend
- 7:13Speaker 4: it like this, it's for work because I got to
- 7:15Speaker 4: get back because we had to do the radio show.
- 7:17Speaker 4: So I'm only doing that whenever. It's like we got
- 7:20Speaker 4: to do it, because we didn't do that down there.
- 7:22Speaker 4: We took a tour bus down there because we were
- 7:24Speaker 4: stopping into the places, and so we get in, we
- 7:29Speaker 4: can't leave because the president hasn't left yet.
- 7:31Speaker 3: They thought he was gonna leave way earlier.
- 7:33Speaker 4: He stayed later, So we're just standing around and we
- 7:36Speaker 4: ended up getting out at an okay time, but I
- 7:38Speaker 4: think the awkward ish. There are certain rules that I've
- 7:42Speaker 4: had to learn the hard way about when you go
- 7:43Speaker 4: into these little airports and sometimes you see famous people
- 7:46Speaker 4: in there, and it's don't.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Like just play it cool.
- 7:52Speaker 4: It's like, I don't know what I would compare it to,
- 7:56Speaker 4: like backstage in an award show. When I first was
- 8:01Speaker 4: I had to learn the rules your backstage at an award show,
- 8:04Speaker 4: play it cool. I never Sometimes I didn't want to
- 8:06Speaker 4: play a cool like this is crazy. I had to
- 8:08Speaker 4: kind of stop Kevin last night from taking a picture
- 8:10Speaker 4: of Adam Sandler and the private airport.
- 8:13Speaker 6: And when he looked at me and put his knuckles
- 8:16Speaker 6: out and he was like, what's up, man, Well, you.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Were talking about the Eagles and he was rooting for
- 8:20Speaker 4: the Eagles. And Kevin grabs his phone and throws his
- 8:22Speaker 4: camera open and it is going to take a picture.
- 8:24Speaker 4: I'm like, do not take a picture of Adam Sandler
- 8:27Speaker 4: and the private.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Airport and then goes okay.
- 8:29Speaker 6: So, but he could not be any more open, like
- 8:33Speaker 6: he was loving it, and I didn't go up to him.
- 8:35Speaker 7: He came up to me and he was like, what's up. Yeah, Eagles,
- 8:37Speaker 7: blah blah, blah. I was like, perfect timing. I didn't
- 8:39Speaker 7: have to go up to him. Well, make it awkward.
- 8:41Speaker 4: He didn't go up to He was getting food right
- 8:43Speaker 4: by our table, like he was. His back was at
- 8:46Speaker 4: that little thing. And then Kevin, who probably was drunk
- 8:49Speaker 4: a little bit.
- 8:51Speaker 6: Yeah, I was having a good time. It was a
- 8:52Speaker 6: great night. Right one money and was like one chief's loss.
- 8:56Speaker 7: It was beautiful.
- 8:57Speaker 4: It was like loud, and Adam Sandler turns around and
- 8:59Speaker 4: looks him and goes, yeah, I throws his knuckles out
- 9:01Speaker 4: and then he Kevin takes his phone.
- 9:02Speaker 3: I was like, do not take a picture of somebody?
- 9:04Speaker 3: It was super cool.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Was Adam Sandler I would have loved it, went and
- 9:07Speaker 4: got a picture like I was like, and so was
- 9:09Speaker 4: my Mike and I were both like, oh man, it
- 9:11Speaker 4: was Adam Taylor was like my list of like top
- 9:14Speaker 4: seven influences ever. And so I at one point had
- 9:18Speaker 4: to be taught these rules and it's a it's a.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Hard role to learn.
- 9:22Speaker 4: And so last night Kevin got a lesson in why
- 9:26Speaker 4: we're not good at being around those kind of people
- 9:28Speaker 4: just in general.
- 9:29Speaker 7: Yeah, I regret it. I should have done it.
- 9:32Speaker 2: I shouldn't have done it.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Say that again.
- 9:35Speaker 7: I said I should have done it. He was open
- 9:38Speaker 7: for it. He was ready.
- 9:41Speaker 3: You regret what.
- 9:44Speaker 7: Not going through with the picture.
- 9:45Speaker 3: He wasn't at He wouldn't want you to take a picture.
- 9:47Speaker 3: You made a.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Loud noise and he looked at you because you like
- 9:50Speaker 4: like scared him. And then he was like yeah, he
- 9:52Speaker 4: throws his knuckles out.
- 9:53Speaker 3: You probably did that the shut down the photo. Yes, yeah,
- 9:56Speaker 3: and Kevin just grabs his money. I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 10:00Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know. You guys are pretty sour after
- 10:01Speaker 7: the game.
- 10:02Speaker 6: I was having a good time. I saw it differently,
- 10:04Speaker 6: Are you still drunk?
- 10:06Speaker 8: It sounds like it, and like we weren't sour, you
- 10:08Speaker 8: nobody just on a different level.
- 10:10Speaker 4: I wasn't sour at all. I had no no, I don't.
- 10:13Speaker 4: I won't bet enough at an event like that to
- 10:16Speaker 4: ruin the event.
- 10:16Speaker 3: If it's like.
- 10:17Speaker 4: An event that I don't have a team in. Listen,
- 10:20Speaker 4: if Arkansas has been playing, i'd have been defeated. But no,
- 10:24Speaker 4: I wasn't even one percent sour.
- 10:30Speaker 7: Okay, I think I think.
- 10:35Speaker 6: I was having a good time and Red was having
- 10:37Speaker 6: a good time, and we were like, dang it, don't
- 10:39Speaker 6: seem so down.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Don't put read in don't put read into it because
- 10:43Speaker 4: you were drunk and loud and all I all it
- 10:46Speaker 4: was was, hey, don't.
- 10:48Speaker 3: The same role.
- 10:49Speaker 4: I had to learn, can't take pictures in here, because
- 10:52Speaker 4: then they'll they put you in like rich person jail.
- 10:55Speaker 4: And I don't ever want to go to rich person
- 10:56Speaker 4: in jail, although it might be nice.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Is that where chrisly is in Florida somewhere?
- 11:01Speaker 3: Yes, So we.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Flew back, got back, all good, we're back, We're tired.
- 11:09Speaker 4: I had to work hard to drink enough water not
- 11:11Speaker 4: to lose my voice. Like that's always a constant for
- 11:14Speaker 4: me because the post Malone pre show we went.
- 11:19Speaker 2: We were at that and tailgate.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was awesome and I wanted to sing, but.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Then I got to think I gotta be responsible, and
- 11:27Speaker 4: so I'm.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Like, that's ma, I'm kind of just moving my mouth,
- 11:33Speaker 3: but I don't want to blow my voice out.
- 11:36Speaker 2: I totally get that.
- 11:37Speaker 4: But I drank a lot of water. It was, you know,
- 11:41Speaker 4: we in the end had a good time. I think
- 11:46Speaker 4: I'm gonna go take a nap. You can listen to
- 11:49Speaker 4: the rest of the show. I don't think anybody was
- 11:52Speaker 4: sour though, do you mind like nobody was? I think
- 11:56Speaker 4: Kevin was just drunk.
- 11:58Speaker 7: I was having a good time. I had a great night.
- 12:00Speaker 7: It just seemed like everyone and maybe guys are just tired.
- 12:02Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 12:03Speaker 8: You keep calling it a great night though, Kevin just
- 12:04Speaker 8: to say, like, man, I was, I was buzzing, like
- 12:06Speaker 8: I was drunk.
- 12:07Speaker 6: I said I was, Yeah, I was, like I was
- 12:08Speaker 6: feeling good.
- 12:10Speaker 4: He keeps calling I think he's still drunk. I honestly
- 12:13Speaker 4: think he's still drunk.
- 12:14Speaker 7: No, I've been sober for a while now.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Edie always sounds like an addict.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Eddie, what you're looking? Do you think there's any chance
- 12:21Speaker 4: he's still buzzing? But to be fair, we just got
- 12:24Speaker 4: home a few hours ago.
- 12:25Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I think I think now at this point
- 12:27Speaker 8: of the day, I think tiredness could be mistaken as tired.
- 12:32Speaker 7: Yeah, hey, everyone here is tired.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Did you sleep at all last night?
- 12:36Speaker 7: Yeah? Sop, uh what do we see? Three hours? Four hours?
- 12:39Speaker 9: Whatever it was.
- 12:40Speaker 4: But I don't sound I don't sound topsy turvy like
- 12:44Speaker 4: he like his voices, right. He sounds sounds yeah very much.
- 12:48Speaker 4: So you're not drunk at all. Maybe that's what maybe
- 12:52Speaker 4: he's drunk. And that's why this we're getting the odd
- 12:53Speaker 4: version of Kevin right now, the villain Kevin. You know
- 12:57Speaker 4: you're completely good?
- 13:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:00Speaker 7: Are you asking me?
- 13:01Speaker 3: He's drunk? Guys, I'm telling you.
- 13:03Speaker 7: He me, you're asked him now. I don't know what
- 13:05Speaker 7: you're doing.
- 13:06Speaker 6: I don't know what to going. I mean, he said,
- 13:08Speaker 6: I'm as sober as canna be. Been here and we've
- 13:10Speaker 6: been here all morning.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Bobby, this sounds like this sounds like a cop cam,
- 13:14Speaker 2: Like right now, I got it.
- 13:15Speaker 3: The more he talks, the worse it gets for him.
- 13:18Speaker 7: How much to take a breathalyzer?
- 13:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I wish we had one, Come do it.
- 13:23Speaker 7: I'm ready.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Even Like before we came on, I was like, hey,
- 13:28Speaker 3: how long is this episode? How long do we have?
- 13:30Speaker 4: And it just felt kind of weird. Kevin was like,
- 13:34Speaker 4: we have thirty minutes. I'll say I can't be true,
- 13:37Speaker 4: and he was like, okay, let me go check again
- 13:41Speaker 4: and comes back twenty two minutes something else like that
- 13:44Speaker 4: can't be true. That ione put my headone would take
- 13:46Speaker 4: my headphones off. I got some other stuff to work on.
- 13:48Speaker 4: We'll meet back in ten minutes. Let me how much
- 13:49Speaker 4: audio we have and so we look at it and
- 13:52Speaker 4: Mike's like, oh, we have like fifty seven minutes.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Kevin comes back and he's like.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Uh, fifty minutes and I was like, oh, okay, well,
- 14:00Speaker 4: well that's what I said.
- 14:01Speaker 3: I said we had thirty.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Plus the interview, and I was like, well, and then
- 14:07Speaker 4: he got kind of angry.
- 14:08Speaker 3: But he's drunk. Now it makes sense. Yeah, no, dude,
- 14:14Speaker 3: I'm telling you no.
- 14:16Speaker 6: No, Before before the interviews, I said, without the interviews,
- 14:19Speaker 6: we have like thirty to thirty five.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Ever, why would we ever not count an interview in
- 14:23Speaker 4: the history of like how much time do we have it?
- 14:25Speaker 3: For ad?
- 14:26Speaker 7: Because you said how much time? Is all the other
- 14:28Speaker 7: stuff that we haven't I never said five.
- 14:32Speaker 4: It doesn't matter except now I think Kevin's drunk. And
- 14:35Speaker 4: that's Keller.
- 14:35Speaker 2: You're feeling good man, feeling great.
- 14:39Speaker 7: You got an extra alcohol over there.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Let's vote, do we think he's still a little buzzed, and.
- 14:46Speaker 8: Then we'll go, Eddie, I'm gonna go yeah, you guys
- 14:51Speaker 8: convinced me.
- 14:51Speaker 4: I wasn't totally convinced either. Kevin's like the nicest, like
- 14:54Speaker 4: sweetest guy, and he's been a little aggressive this morning,
- 14:58Speaker 4: and so I knew there was something off, but that
- 15:02Speaker 4: is funny.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Now it's funny. I'm not drunk.
- 15:04Speaker 7: I'm definitely sleep.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Now it's fake yawning though. Now it's fake yawning to
- 15:08Speaker 3: the officer.
- 15:09Speaker 4: I was gonna go the other way to fake yawning
- 15:12Speaker 4: to the cop cam.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Okay, Mike, Mike, you're not time to vote.
- 15:17Speaker 6: I was convinced he was just tired until that fake
- 15:20Speaker 6: yon came in, like he's really selling it.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Selling it hard. Watch officer. I can jump on one
- 15:25Speaker 3: foot backward. Just tired.
- 15:28Speaker 7: Go Eagles.
- 15:30Speaker 3: But you're not even an Eagles fan.
- 15:32Speaker 7: I was last night. I was hugging Eagles fans.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Man.
- 15:34Speaker 6: It's freaking awesome because because they were winning Pick six
- 15:40Speaker 6: one money, Eagles won.
- 15:42Speaker 7: She's lost and beautiful.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Pig skin helmets, not jose jump Aliah. Okay, I don't
- 15:55Speaker 4: know what we're going to first, but let's go to
- 15:57Speaker 4: something here.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Okay, we're gonna get out of here. Let's get Kevin
- 16:02Speaker 3: some water and set him down.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Give him a black coffee. Yes, is that what it is?
- 16:08Speaker 3: Okay, we're to go to you and Eddio at the stage. Okay,
- 16:11Speaker 3: at the stage, yeah, with we're on stage.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Yeah, oh you're talking about studio. Okay, thank you. This
- 16:18Speaker 4: is our episode today. As you can tell, Kevin went
- 16:21Speaker 4: to the super Bowl. As you can really can tell
- 16:22Speaker 4: Kevin went to the super Bowl, but you can hear
- 16:24Speaker 4: how all that went down. Thank you guys. And here
- 16:27Speaker 4: is the episode. Last night we went to NFL Honors.
- 16:30Speaker 4: We had pretty good seat second row, right behind i'd
- 16:33Speaker 4: say Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase, and the camera was
- 16:37Speaker 4: on them at parts of the night for significant amounts
- 16:42Speaker 4: of time. And they put them together on purpose because
- 16:44Speaker 4: obviously it's a Benkals quarterback who was up for a
- 16:47Speaker 4: couple of different awards.
- 16:49Speaker 3: And arguably the best receiver in the game.
- 16:51Speaker 4: So as they are roasting Joe Burrow or doing jokes
- 16:53Speaker 4: about Joe Burrow.
- 16:55Speaker 3: There we are right behind behind him, and we have
- 16:57Speaker 3: to react. Do you have to like over? You have
- 17:00Speaker 3: to at least be aware that your face is on.
- 17:04Speaker 4: So if you're not paying attention or you're not laughing
- 17:07Speaker 4: at the appropriate amount, you're gonna look like a douche.
- 17:09Speaker 4: And if you look at the camera, you look like
- 17:10Speaker 4: a douche. So I think he played it perfectly.
- 17:13Speaker 8: My goal was to not look at Joe Burrow when
- 17:17Speaker 8: they were talking about him because you know, you watch
- 17:19Speaker 8: like the Oscars or any kind of award show and
- 17:22Speaker 8: you see people behind them and they're talking about say Snoop, right,
- 17:25Speaker 8: and everyone behind.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Him is looking at Snoop like, what's your reacted? I
- 17:27Speaker 2: was like, do not look at Joe, do not look
- 17:29Speaker 2: at Joe.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess I didn't think about that.
- 17:31Speaker 10: I looked.
- 17:31Speaker 3: I just watched Snoop tell his jokes. Yeah, that's right.
- 17:34Speaker 3: I got a lot of pictures are tagged. The pictures
- 17:36Speaker 3: like you and Eddie at the award.
- 17:38Speaker 4: I got more of that than I did presenting an award,
- 17:43Speaker 4: probably because it was way earlier in the show too.
- 17:45Speaker 8: Well, what's funny is you know, like NFL posts the
- 17:48Speaker 8: reels about all this stuff, and we got tagged on
- 17:51Speaker 8: so many of those posts.
- 17:53Speaker 2: So just like, is that probably Bose is that producer? A?
- 17:55Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a meme with Joe Burrow in just my
- 17:57Speaker 4: head right behind him the NFL posted and it's just
- 18:00Speaker 4: Obera laughing and like perfectly squared up is my face
- 18:03Speaker 4: right over his shoulder.
- 18:04Speaker 8: But I think the main, the main thing that they
- 18:06Speaker 8: did Clip Bones was the you know, the the joke
- 18:09Speaker 8: about the Batmobile, the Batmobile, and I guess they're trying
- 18:12Speaker 8: to make a thing out of how Joe was laughing
- 18:14Speaker 8: and then he got serious.
- 18:15Speaker 2: But they made fun of his defense.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and also I would bet he knew that was coming.
- 18:21Speaker 8: Oh, like to get my heads up, probably because even
- 18:25Speaker 8: like like say, like the joke was about you and
- 18:27Speaker 8: haha whatever, but he needs like a better best friend.
- 18:31Speaker 2: You would be like not funny.
- 18:33Speaker 4: You'd at least have to act it out, even if
- 18:35Speaker 4: he felt like maybe they were onto something.
- 18:37Speaker 3: All right, but we saw Belichick.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Oh yeah, girl, his girl.
- 18:42Speaker 4: I was backstage after I had finished doing my presentation
- 18:48Speaker 4: with Kyle U Chick.
- 18:48Speaker 3: He was super nice, lart, he's kind of personally tall.
- 18:53Speaker 3: He went to Harvard.
- 18:54Speaker 2: No, I didn't know that. Wow.
- 18:55Speaker 3: I'm almost positive he went to Harvard.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Because he's a good football player, because it's smart.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Because I think I saw it on his Instagram. Okay,
- 19:02Speaker 3: Like if I think back, why I knew that? Uh No,
- 19:04Speaker 3: he's super nice. I mean he was just normal.
- 19:08Speaker 4: It's not even that he was super nice or not nice,
- 19:11Speaker 4: because if I say super nice, it feels like he
- 19:13Speaker 4: was trying to be nice.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Everybody was just normal.
- 19:16Speaker 4: I kind of was just put in with a group
- 19:18Speaker 4: of people and everybody was just a peer.
- 19:19Speaker 3: And I'm really not a peer in that.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Group, but because I was in the group, they just
- 19:23Speaker 4: accepted me as a peer. So I was back there
- 19:24Speaker 4: with Snoop and Belichick and because there was a holding
- 19:28Speaker 4: room and yu Check was back there. It's a couple
- 19:32Speaker 4: other guys that were just big, so I knew they
- 19:34Speaker 4: had to be a player. But I don't want to
- 19:35Speaker 4: be like, which one are you?
- 19:36Speaker 2: Oh, like physically big?
- 19:37Speaker 3: Yeah, right, And the worst thing that could have done
- 19:40Speaker 3: is go, hey, which which one are you?
- 19:41Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 19:42Speaker 4: So I just kind of ate some ham back there
- 19:44Speaker 4: in the little ham station there. No, it's small food.
- 19:48Speaker 3: It was like a full meal demo thing. On stage.
- 19:52Speaker 4: I presented to George Kittle for the USAA like that,
- 19:56Speaker 4: the Salute to Service Award, And as we're doing the speech,
- 20:01Speaker 4: George Kittle tries to get up and accept the award early,
- 20:05Speaker 4: which would have thrown.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Timing off because a video has to run.
- 20:10Speaker 4: And George Kittle has a big personality obvious obviously if
- 20:12Speaker 4: you watch forty nine Ers and know him, you know
- 20:14Speaker 4: he's all.
- 20:14Speaker 3: He's all over the play.
- 20:15Speaker 4: It's like super funny larger than life. He starts to
- 20:18Speaker 4: get up, and in the middle of my speech, I'm like.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Do I start And I'm like, George, hold on, George,
- 20:23Speaker 3: hold on, And then I go back to the prompter.
- 20:26Speaker 3: And I didn't know how it came off.
- 20:27Speaker 4: I never even asked how it came off, because if
- 20:29Speaker 4: it didn't come off good, I didn't want to know.
- 20:31Speaker 4: And two different NFL guys stopped me last night and
- 20:33Speaker 4: they're like, hey, we're glad you said that, because George
- 20:35Speaker 4: was gonna walk up on stage, and they were like,
- 20:36Speaker 4: it came off great, Like so you knew.
- 20:38Speaker 8: The format of the presentation, like you're gonna say something,
- 20:41Speaker 8: They're gona play a video.
- 20:42Speaker 3: So we had to be way to be moved.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Yeah, because we were standing at one part of the stage.
- 20:46Speaker 4: They run a big video overhead they run on TV.
- 20:48Speaker 4: And then when it comes backward the front of the
- 20:49Speaker 4: stage and Kittle's not supposed to come up toward the
- 20:52Speaker 4: front of the stage.
- 20:52Speaker 2: And what he because I didn't look back, So what
- 20:54Speaker 2: did he do? He got?
- 20:54Speaker 3: He starts, he stands up. He's two rows behind us.
- 20:56Speaker 3: He stands up and starts to walk toward it, and
- 21:00Speaker 3: he stands up enough that I know.
- 21:01Speaker 4: He's not kidding, because you could do like where you
- 21:03Speaker 4: just kind of flint like you're just kind of play
- 21:05Speaker 4: get get No, he's up, and I'm like, George waits.
- 21:09Speaker 3: We haven't even said it's George yet. Is the funny thing.
- 21:11Speaker 3: We never I don't think we said it. George was
- 21:13Speaker 3: the winner.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I think you did. Whatever the case.
- 21:16Speaker 4: He's ready to go, and he knew because his speech
- 21:18Speaker 4: was in the prompter, he knew that was an award.
- 21:20Speaker 4: He knew he won, and it was a you know,
- 21:22Speaker 4: military service awards.
- 21:23Speaker 3: So we wanted to be able to say the right things.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Uh.
- 21:25Speaker 3: So that was good. We finished. It was kind of
- 21:28Speaker 3: a mess getting our car, but we found.
- 21:30Speaker 2: It and we ended up walking to our car.
- 21:32Speaker 9: We did.
- 21:33Speaker 4: There's just a lot of people, but again a lot
- 21:36Speaker 4: of really cool people that you can just look around
- 21:38Speaker 4: and be like, holy crap, we can't believe we see
- 21:39Speaker 4: this person.
- 21:40Speaker 3: I ended up talking to the chargers' owners last night,
- 21:42Speaker 3: owners of.
- 21:42Speaker 4: The chargers, and I was like, hey, congratulations, like they
- 21:45Speaker 4: need of me to say it, like I'm the one guy,
- 21:47Speaker 4: thank you, Bobby Well. I think they also were like
- 21:50Speaker 4: why are we talking to eat? But I was thinking that,
- 21:55Speaker 4: and they were thinking that, and it was really they
- 21:57Speaker 4: were really nice.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Was this when you were talking to Ron Rivera too?
- 21:59Speaker 2: Were they all in the same So.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Yeah, somebody grabbed me and said, hey, come talk to coach.
- 22:03Speaker 4: You want to say hi to you. There's a hundred
- 22:05Speaker 4: coaches there, so I didn't know which coach it was.
- 22:08Speaker 4: And I'm like okay, and I go. And it was
- 22:10Speaker 4: Ron Rivera, who was on our show a few weeks ago,
- 22:12Speaker 4: and he's awesome. I'm like, hey, young, go out to
- 22:14Speaker 4: a new job at Cal. We're talking about that. And
- 22:15Speaker 4: as I'm walking off.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Whomever it was that introduced me to Ron Rivera says, oh,
- 22:20Speaker 3: and these are the owners of the Chargers. And I'm like,
- 22:22Speaker 3: I have nothing to say. I don't know, I don't
- 22:25Speaker 3: even I know nothing.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know what.
- 22:27Speaker 3: So I'm like going, And they also were the same.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Go.
- 22:31Speaker 4: There's I see Deance Andrews right there. We're gonna have
- 22:33Speaker 4: to break in a second because he about to come
- 22:34Speaker 4: up here. I'll finish the story in just a second.
- 22:37Speaker 4: But they is he stopping by or no? Is he
- 22:41Speaker 4: walking up?
- 22:41Speaker 8: He's still walking okay, And they're turning in our direction,
- 22:45Speaker 8: are they coming up. They are going to another stage.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Okay, good, perfect, he's probably going over there. Yes, he
- 22:51Speaker 4: has like twenty people around him, so he didn't see us. Yes,
- 22:53Speaker 4: I saw him last night though.
- 22:54Speaker 3: It was awesome.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Yeah, so I mean talking to him. Keep going with
- 22:57Speaker 2: the story.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Okay.
- 22:58Speaker 4: So they pulled me from Ron Rivera and I'm just
- 23:01Speaker 4: with the charges of people and they think that somebody
- 23:04Speaker 4: prominence talking to them because somebody's introduced them.
- 23:07Speaker 2: And I'm like, they're like, it's the guy from Weezer.
- 23:10Speaker 4: We both were like we should stay in this for
- 23:12Speaker 4: a second because we think we're talking to somebody to
- 23:14Speaker 4: let's just be not And I was like, congrats on
- 23:16Speaker 4: your team, and they were like danks.
- 23:18Speaker 3: I was like, hey, how about that one year?
- 23:21Speaker 2: But I know what to say, dude, A good thing.
- 23:24Speaker 8: You can come up with something, because I would have
- 23:25Speaker 8: been like, uh, justin Herbert was so good.
- 23:27Speaker 4: Well then I did any mini Ted talk on culture?
- 23:30Speaker 3: I was like, you guys did it? He set the culture.
- 23:32Speaker 4: And I'm just looking to get out of there now
- 23:34Speaker 4: because I don't like them. I don't know them, and
- 23:35Speaker 4: also know they don't know me, and neither one of
- 23:37Speaker 4: us really want to be here. Very long waiting on
- 23:40Speaker 4: the cars, and so I'm like, all, great, congrats, good
- 23:44Speaker 4: like next year, I'll be rooting for you guys, and
- 23:45Speaker 4: we walk off.
- 23:46Speaker 3: And that's when I walked to and I go, we
- 23:47Speaker 3: gotta go.
- 23:48Speaker 2: We got to find our car.
- 23:49Speaker 4: I didn't want to stand next to them after I
- 23:51Speaker 4: said I already had to go, So that's why we went.
- 23:53Speaker 8: Walking down the street to find our car. Yeah, so
- 23:56Speaker 8: I've never been part of that kind of experience. You know,
- 23:58Speaker 8: when you see like the Awards shows and afterwards everyone's
- 24:01Speaker 8: waiting to get their car and all these cars show
- 24:04Speaker 8: up and they start yelling like jam rcha jo marchase
- 24:08Speaker 8: your car's here, and a few times I feel like
- 24:11Speaker 8: either jamar I think it was a Belichick lost his
- 24:14Speaker 8: ride because they were.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Like, we're not waiting anymore, no Belichick, moving on.
- 24:18Speaker 10: Yep.
- 24:19Speaker 4: So we did that in Our driver, whose name was Eugene,
- 24:23Speaker 4: was like it was great, and so we were like
- 24:26Speaker 4: usually one hungary and it was hard to get anything
- 24:29Speaker 4: to eat in the middle of New Orleans because it's
- 24:32Speaker 4: the Super Bowl and everything is packed and things that
- 24:35Speaker 4: are normal aren't even normal to rented out by other things.
- 24:37Speaker 3: So we're like can you drive us somewhere to get
- 24:40Speaker 3: some food? And because the NFL picked the car, so
- 24:44Speaker 3: let's use the car. So he's like, yeah, no problem.
- 24:46Speaker 3: So we go and he takes this to like.
- 24:47Speaker 2: This old It was a corner like a store like.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Iould I would have called it gas has no gas.
- 24:55Speaker 2: No gas.
- 24:55Speaker 3: It's just then of a building and it's old.
- 24:58Speaker 4: It looks like the package has been there for twenty
- 24:59Speaker 4: like the oatmeal pies and there for twenty years.
- 25:01Speaker 8: Everything's really tight, but it felt like a New York bodega.
- 25:06Speaker 3: But then they can call the outside. It felt like
- 25:08Speaker 3: a New York store on a corner.
- 25:13Speaker 4: So we go in barely take your elbows and push
- 25:16Speaker 4: them out because it's so tight, and he's like, order
- 25:18Speaker 4: the Murphy's burrow.
- 25:19Speaker 2: That's not what it was called.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Don't know what it was called.
- 25:22Speaker 2: I don't know. Order the moof is lava something like that.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Move it was like Mufasa.
- 25:27Speaker 3: And he doesn't get it hot.
- 25:29Speaker 4: So we walk in and we're like, what, we're not
- 25:32Speaker 4: even in a restaurant. I thought he was taking it
- 25:34Speaker 4: to a restaurant. We'll take two Murphy's burrows. One I
- 25:37Speaker 4: can't eat cheese now it sucks and eddies and cheese,
- 25:40Speaker 4: and so we get on the drive.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Back to they did look at you no cheese. I
- 25:44Speaker 2: think the whole thing is cheese, like MUFAs with no cheese.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Yeah, So we get these and we go back to
- 25:50Speaker 3: our muf moffalata. That's it. We go back to our rooms.
- 25:54Speaker 3: We're different hotels, but we go back to our rooms
- 25:56Speaker 3: and I eat. It's pretty good. It's pretty good, I think.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Yet you don't like all of it.
- 26:02Speaker 8: It's olive based, like whatever is the spread is olive based,
- 26:06Speaker 8: and so I don't I can't stand all of it.
- 26:08Speaker 8: So I think it could have been good if I
- 26:10Speaker 8: liked all of us.
- 26:11Speaker 2: But to me, the olives kind of just ruined it
- 26:13Speaker 2: from me.
- 26:13Speaker 4: I think it was pretty good, and I don't mind olives,
- 26:15Speaker 4: But like, my stomach is a little weird too, really,
- 26:18Speaker 4: I maybe my stomach just remembers what the gas station
- 26:20Speaker 4: looked like.
- 26:22Speaker 8: Yeah, possible, it was not well, it was. It was
- 26:25Speaker 8: pretty greasy, and we ate it late, so it's never
- 26:28Speaker 8: really good to eat that late and then go to sleep.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I'm a little unsettled, if I'm being honest, and usually
- 26:32Speaker 3: I know what the unsettling is. From and I think
- 26:34Speaker 3: that's about it.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Bones. I'm on a bat. We're in a bad streak.
- 26:37Speaker 8: Dude, Gumbo, late night gumbo could be all that late
- 26:41Speaker 8: night muffiladas just not good.
- 26:43Speaker 4: So we're back here again today and.
- 26:47Speaker 3: We got some pretty good guess again. We just saw
- 26:49Speaker 3: Deon Sanders walk by and we almost cut because I
- 26:51Speaker 3: didn't if he was coming up here or not.
- 26:52Speaker 8: Did you want to talk about Ron Rivera or do
- 26:54Speaker 8: you want to save that? He told me there's a
- 26:56Speaker 8: good story about that.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Well save I don't remember this story. Does it sucks?
- 27:00Speaker 9: Well?
- 27:01Speaker 3: Savicau? I don't remember it right now. But I did
- 27:03Speaker 3: see Dion last night.
- 27:04Speaker 4: I was about to go on stage and he was
- 27:06Speaker 4: sitting there because he was going out.
- 27:08Speaker 3: I think, did he go off with the Hall of
- 27:09Speaker 3: Fame when they.
- 27:10Speaker 10: Pulled the Hall of famers?
- 27:11Speaker 2: No, he presented he did, Okay, he presented it with
- 27:13Speaker 2: a Belichick.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Okay. I never saw that because I was a backstage
- 27:16Speaker 3: so it was when they pulled me back. So I
- 27:18Speaker 3: see him sitting on the side. He comes up and
- 27:19Speaker 3: he hugs me and he goes, look at you, look
- 27:22Speaker 3: at you, so proud of you.
- 27:23Speaker 4: And I'm like what and like, right, as soon as
- 27:25Speaker 4: like we're about to talk at all, someone grabs me
- 27:27Speaker 4: and goes, Bobb, you got to go on stage. So
- 27:29Speaker 4: I did not get talked to him last night, but
- 27:31Speaker 4: he was wearing like all black and had on sunglasses,
- 27:34Speaker 4: and I was like, man, I wish I look like that.
- 27:36Speaker 8: I know a lot of those guys, like even Jane
- 27:38Speaker 8: Danas had sunglasses, and I'm like, so cool, I.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Wish we could do that.
- 27:41Speaker 3: I'm in like a pink bowling shirt today.
- 27:44Speaker 8: You know what last night too, And you did tell
- 27:46Speaker 8: me and I just kind of ignored it, but I
- 27:48Speaker 8: might have been the only person there without a suit.
- 27:50Speaker 3: We got it addressed. Yeah, you're for sure.
- 27:51Speaker 8: Definitely underdressed, but everyone on TV that saw me said
- 27:54Speaker 8: I didn't even notice.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Because that's what I was worried about.
- 27:56Speaker 8: Every time I saw one of those headset guys come by,
- 27:59Speaker 8: I thought they were gonna say, like, you have to
- 28:00Speaker 8: go in the back.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Well you only see like nipples up from the people
- 28:05Speaker 3: sitting there, but you also have to sling on and I.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Think the sling kind of looks like.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Yeah, So that's that's the story.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Now we have a bunch of guests, so We're gonna
- 28:18Speaker 4: take a break and we will come back with hopefully
- 28:20Speaker 4: the guests that show up.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Also, Kevin's trying to finish this, finish the scavenger.
- 28:24Speaker 2: He's on a mission.
- 28:26Speaker 8: He looks like a hawk, and when he sees prey,
- 28:28Speaker 8: he just starts running towards him.
- 28:29Speaker 4: So by the time this airs, it will have already happened.
- 28:33Speaker 4: You'll already know the result. But you're in a time machine.
- 28:36Speaker 4: As of right now, we do not know if Kevin
- 28:38Speaker 4: has gotten anybody.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Yes, so that's it.
- 28:40Speaker 4: All right, take a break, we'll come back another Dallas
- 28:48Speaker 4: Cowboys legend. It was basically Cowboys Day. This is a
- 28:52Speaker 4: guy who I love. I've talked about him openly a lot.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Has become a good friend of mine. Dion Sanders Coach
- 28:58Speaker 4: Prime one of the greatest athletes to ever play. He
- 29:01Speaker 4: obviously was in the NFL, played in the Major League,
- 29:03Speaker 4: did in the same day as well, like played baseball
- 29:07Speaker 4: the same day, which is crazy. He won two Super Bowls,
- 29:11Speaker 4: NFL Defensive Player of the Year, six times First Team
- 29:14Speaker 4: All Pro. The list goes on big thanks to Coach
- 29:17Speaker 4: Prime for joining us here.
- 29:18Speaker 3: He is Deon Sanders, it great to see you again.
- 29:29Speaker 4: Likewise, my friend I was on rich Eisend a few
- 29:32Speaker 4: weeks ago, rich loves You, All love you, and I
- 29:34Speaker 4: was just telling him the greatest hype story I ever
- 29:37Speaker 4: got was me alone about to dance my final dance,
- 29:40Speaker 4: sitting you in the hallway, and you'd being like, you
- 29:43Speaker 4: got this far and nothing you can do but do
- 29:45Speaker 4: what you've been doing.
- 29:46Speaker 3: And I was like, I got like a tier, slapped
- 29:49Speaker 3: the wall, played like a champion, walked out one one
- 29:52Speaker 3: the mirror ball. It's my favorite.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Oh no, I'm glad. I'm glad I was able to
- 29:56Speaker 2: inspire you to your level greatness.
- 29:58Speaker 3: And I didn't even let chase you.
- 29:59Speaker 4: I was like, God, pa us together in a random
- 30:01Speaker 4: hallway and a studio. So super Bowl wise, do you
- 30:06Speaker 4: travel with your rings when you come to a super
- 30:09Speaker 4: Bowl and you do this?
- 30:10Speaker 2: I don't even wear my rings. I don't even know.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I haven't seen my rings in over ten years.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Where are in storage somewhere?
- 30:16Speaker 2: They're in a safety depositive wix bro.
- 30:19Speaker 3: That makes sense, man, I think, yeah, so we have friends.
- 30:23Speaker 3: They got the fake trophy. You have a trophy.
- 30:25Speaker 2: I don't even know what.
- 30:26Speaker 3: A trophy is. You know you played right, but you
- 30:29Speaker 3: know you played some Yeah.
- 30:32Speaker 11: I do remember I play. Yeah, yeah, that part I get.
- 30:36Speaker 11: But the trophy is probably put up somewhere in storage.
- 30:40Speaker 10: I don't have.
- 30:41Speaker 11: I don't have a whole lot of sports morebilia in
- 30:43Speaker 11: my house in the bold?
- 30:45Speaker 4: Is it because there's so much? What's what's your favorite piece?
- 30:49Speaker 3: Like, do you have what's one thing that you have
- 30:50Speaker 3: the house that it could even be like from high school,
- 30:52Speaker 3: like that you love.
- 30:54Speaker 2: I don't have nothing at my house.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Is that because you're like, my wife won't allow my
- 31:00Speaker 3: ball in the house.
- 31:01Speaker 2: I don't even have the mirror ball.
- 31:02Speaker 11: Mirror ball is in my restaurant in Vegas, and some
- 31:06Speaker 11: of my high school stuff is in my out in
- 31:09Speaker 11: my restaurant in Vegas. So I put a lot of
- 31:12Speaker 11: the memorabilious stuff out there in Vegas, so people.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Who comes out to the restaurant I get a chance
- 31:16Speaker 2: to come see it. I even got a high school
- 31:18Speaker 2: jerseys out there I have. I have a jersey when
- 31:21Speaker 2: I was.
- 31:23Speaker 11: Twelve years old that's out there as well.
- 31:27Speaker 10: Well.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Award number forty five.
- 31:29Speaker 11: Florida, like back back when I was back in punscolo.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and Little League football.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Yeah, man, what what what hit? Do you remember the most? Like,
- 31:39Speaker 2: I'm a huge one. My mama gave me. That's the
- 31:43Speaker 2: one that I remember the most.
- 31:44Speaker 5: Most.
- 31:45Speaker 2: That you don't remember is because you got knocked out
- 31:47Speaker 2: and I got knocked out one time.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Yeah, when you were playing as a twelve thirteen year old,
- 31:52Speaker 3: did you play every position? Were you the guy every position?
- 31:55Speaker 3: Like put it we get put in a quarterback?
- 31:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yep, I did all of that.
- 31:58Speaker 5: I did.
- 31:59Speaker 11: Matter of fact, our starting quarterback when I was twelve
- 32:01Speaker 11: years old, Jodyeger broke his arm a week before a
- 32:07Speaker 11: playoff game or a tampionship game, a playoff game really,
- 32:11Speaker 11: and I was we ran like the wishbone, and so
- 32:15Speaker 11: they moved me from that put me back at quarterback.
- 32:18Speaker 11: They kept moving around quarterback, and then the game got tight,
- 32:22Speaker 11: they put me at the quarterback.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Position and just teld me to just keep grunting it.
- 32:27Speaker 3: At what level of ball to you, did you have
- 32:29Speaker 3: the most joy?
- 32:31Speaker 11: Probably probably pop warning high school it was the most
- 32:40Speaker 11: joy because I didn't have the pressures of didn't think
- 32:45Speaker 11: about pressure at the time because I was just out
- 32:48Speaker 11: playing football, having fun with my friends and so forth.
- 32:52Speaker 11: Then when you get to high school, then things get
- 32:55Speaker 11: a little bit more realer, because a little bit more
- 32:58Speaker 11: real because you are actually have the ability to either
- 33:03Speaker 11: help a team win or cause a team to lose.
- 33:06Speaker 11: And then you start to understand the importance of the
- 33:08Speaker 11: game and the importance of your role, and then.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Things just change. It change from that point on.
- 33:15Speaker 8: And then I got four boys. They all play sports,
- 33:17Speaker 8: and I'm in that sports world. You know of just
- 33:20Speaker 8: a lot of parents out there, different kinds of sports parents.
- 33:23Speaker 2: What kind of sports parents were you though?
- 33:25Speaker 11: I was one of those kinds that would laid back,
- 33:29Speaker 11: allowing coaches to coach my kids. I would talk to
- 33:34Speaker 11: my kids about finishing what you start.
- 33:40Speaker 2: There's no quitting. You can start this. If you don't
- 33:44Speaker 2: want to play it again, you gotta wait tap the
- 33:45Speaker 2: end of the season. We won't do it again.
- 33:48Speaker 11: If my kids had a bad, poor attitude on the field,
- 33:51Speaker 11: I would definitely yell from wherever I'm at to try
- 33:54Speaker 11: to spend them up. But I allowed them to be
- 33:59Speaker 11: kids because I wanted to be a dad. I didn't
- 34:02Speaker 11: want to and sometimes I regret that I didn't didn't
- 34:06Speaker 11: go in a little bit harder or a live it more,
- 34:10Speaker 11: But I allowed them to have fun and allowed them
- 34:13Speaker 11: to find their way. And so that's the kind of
- 34:18Speaker 11: pops I was.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Now.
- 34:19Speaker 11: I did talk about things and analyze things with them, but.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Pat them on the back. Great job, hang in there,
- 34:27Speaker 2: we'll get the next one.
- 34:29Speaker 4: I was at the game when you broke the record.
- 34:31Speaker 4: You were playing, You're playing the Seahawks. It was in Dallas,
- 34:33Speaker 4: you wrote the Uh, maybe it was, maybe it's yards.
- 34:38Speaker 4: It's been so long since, but I remember they put
- 34:41Speaker 4: the star together. But I remember the Cowboys lost the game,
- 34:43Speaker 4: but you had to go up and get the award
- 34:45Speaker 4: after the game. And I always felt like like, this
- 34:48Speaker 4: is like the front of.
- 34:49Speaker 3: The paper and it breaks the record.
- 34:52Speaker 10: But we lost.
- 34:52Speaker 3: But I was like, but he lost. Yes, that had
- 34:55Speaker 3: to be a buildersweet moment. Yeah, a regular season game.
- 34:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:59Speaker 11: Still it was a bittersweet moment though. I mean it
- 35:03Speaker 11: was a bittersweet all the way around. Because if you
- 35:06Speaker 11: have a chance to do something so significant in terms
- 35:09Speaker 11: of becoming the all time leading Russia, doing something no
- 35:12Speaker 11: other man on the plan has ever done, you have
- 35:14Speaker 11: this vision of how you want it to happen, just
- 35:17Speaker 11: like everyone has a vision how they want their life
- 35:19Speaker 11: to go. Well, in my vision, I had Troy handing
- 35:24Speaker 11: me the football that had Daryl Johnson leading me up
- 35:26Speaker 11: the up the running lane, making the key blocks.
- 35:28Speaker 2: I cut off of them and get the get, get
- 35:30Speaker 2: the get the yardist had.
- 35:31Speaker 11: Michael even't coming down making the block, and then afterwards
- 35:34Speaker 11: we all celebrated together.
- 35:37Speaker 2: But that's not life. Life is reality. It's not It
- 35:41Speaker 2: doesn't happen that way. It's not always the way you want.
- 35:44Speaker 2: It's never as perfect as you want it.
- 35:47Speaker 11: But here's the thing, coming up the sideline and not
- 35:52Speaker 11: knowing how they even celebrated in the middle of a game.
- 35:54Speaker 2: I never did that before.
- 35:56Speaker 11: When if I ever's I've never celebrated in the middle
- 35:58Speaker 11: of a game, never seeing the football.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Games just actually stopped for me. And so outside of
- 36:04Speaker 2: being hurt and so coming up the.
- 36:06Speaker 11: Sideline and celebrating with folks, I run into Darryl Johnson.
- 36:11Speaker 11: Didn't even realize he was at the game. But he
- 36:13Speaker 11: wasn't in uniform. He was calling the game. Weird moment,
- 36:19Speaker 11: but a proud moment because he was so instrumental in
- 36:23Speaker 11: terms of helping me achieve that goal. He wasn't on
- 36:28Speaker 11: the field playing with me, but he was on the
- 36:31Speaker 11: sideline cheering with me Michael on the sideline enthusiastically about it,
- 36:36Speaker 11: because I told Michael my rookie year that I wanted
- 36:39Speaker 11: to become an all time of leader rush. He laughed
- 36:41Speaker 11: at me, But now he's there celebrating with me, understanding
- 36:45Speaker 11: how bad I wanted it.
- 36:47Speaker 2: James Washington.
- 36:49Speaker 11: Saw my goalless as a true rookie and saw the
- 36:53Speaker 11: all time leading rush on it.
- 36:55Speaker 2: So he celebrating with.
- 36:56Speaker 11: Me because they knew before everyone else how important that
- 37:01Speaker 11: was to be. And so things just didn't work out
- 37:04Speaker 11: in Troy. I know he wanted to be there, he says.
- 37:08Speaker 11: He said that during his retirement speech. I believe he
- 37:11Speaker 11: wanted to be there one day when I break the record.
- 37:14Speaker 11: In his mind, he in his mind, he's like, you're
- 37:17Speaker 11: gonna get it. I know he's gonna get it, and
- 37:19Speaker 11: he wanted to be the guy to hand me the ball.
- 37:21Speaker 11: I wanted him to be that guy too, and so,
- 37:24Speaker 11: but as life would have it, we all leave the
- 37:27Speaker 11: game at different points and times, and nothing is ever perfect,
- 37:31Speaker 11: so we always have to adjust to life accordingly to
- 37:36Speaker 11: where things are.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Yeah, it was it was super moving to watch you
- 37:41Speaker 4: get it. But I was like, I know, he's such
- 37:43Speaker 4: a team guy too. It's got to be weird that
- 37:45Speaker 4: they didn't win the game. It's like a weird thing.
- 37:47Speaker 2: It's a weird man. You can't celebrate. How you gonna celebrate.
- 37:53Speaker 3: That's also when I knew the NFL wasn't rigged, because
- 37:55Speaker 3: they'd have rigged that one for sure if they could have.
- 37:59Speaker 3: I mean, you're here with so what's happening here?
- 38:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm here with Narkan and Emergent.
- 38:03Speaker 11: We're talking about opioid overdoses and continuing to spread the
- 38:07Speaker 11: word around opioid overdoses, letting people know that even though
- 38:10Speaker 11: the national numbers are dropping a little bit, but here
- 38:13Speaker 11: in New Orleans, these numbers are steady rising, and so
- 38:16Speaker 11: there's more work to be done.
- 38:18Speaker 10: But we need.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Everyone's help to pay attention.
- 38:21Speaker 11: Most people walk around, well, I don't do drugs, I
- 38:23Speaker 11: don't do this, I don't do that. But if some
- 38:27Speaker 11: evil threat was to blow something through here that can
- 38:30Speaker 11: take everybody out in a matter of seconds, it would
- 38:33Speaker 11: be fitinale and Fidina can hurt all of us at
- 38:35Speaker 11: one point in time. But this, this rade here, the
- 38:38Speaker 11: North Canon nasal spray is something that can reverse the
- 38:41Speaker 11: opioid overdose.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Effects right away.
- 38:47Speaker 11: We have a method called lay stay, Lay spray stay,
- 38:52Speaker 11: and that means lay a person down, gently, insert the
- 38:55Speaker 11: nasal spray into someone's nose, give them a couple of
- 38:58Speaker 11: shots there, nine one one, and stay with the person.
- 39:03Speaker 11: We want people to continue to have life the way
- 39:06Speaker 11: that we want it and do it in the most
- 39:08Speaker 11: respectful way, and be able to help and serve another
- 39:12Speaker 11: person if that person.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Is in need.
- 39:15Speaker 11: There's nothing wrong with being ready and being responsible, and
- 39:19Speaker 11: there is nothing more honorable than to help someone in need.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Well, I really appreciate the time. Love.
- 39:25Speaker 4: You got to get one of those rings in some days.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Got to get at least one of them, like out
- 39:31Speaker 3: the Divisit box.
- 39:33Speaker 10: You know what.
- 39:35Speaker 2: I've seen them, I've warned them.
- 39:38Speaker 11: I'm past that stage. My kids don't even know what
- 39:43Speaker 11: they look like. Seriously, my kids don't even know what
- 39:46Speaker 11: they look like. I had these replicarems in my old
- 39:50Speaker 11: house in my game room.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Oh how big replicareings. They thought those were my That's
- 39:56Speaker 2: another difference. They just don't know the difference.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Bums.
- 39:58Speaker 8: Can I ask emma one more question? One more question?
- 40:01Speaker 8: When are we going back to the Super Bowl? Come on,
- 40:04Speaker 8: a man, one of the Cowboys going back to the
- 40:05Speaker 8: Super Bowl.
- 40:07Speaker 5: Bro, Bro, he broughed you, Oh.
- 40:09Speaker 10: No, Bro, be ready.
- 40:12Speaker 11: It could be a minute, and a minute could be
- 40:15Speaker 11: a decade.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Okay, all right, all right, thanks and good to say.
- 40:19Speaker 2: You'll be good.
- 40:20Speaker 4: Take care another Dallas Cowboys legend. It was basically Cowboys Day.
- 40:25Speaker 4: This is a guy who I love. I've talked about
- 40:27Speaker 4: him openly a lot. Has become a good friend of mine.
- 40:30Speaker 4: Dion Sanders Coach Prime one of the greatest athletes to
- 40:33Speaker 4: ever play. He obviously was in the NFL, played in
- 40:36Speaker 4: the major leagues, did in the same day as well,
- 40:40Speaker 4: like played baseball for the same day, which is crazy.
- 40:43Speaker 4: He won two Super Bowls, NFL Defensive Player of the Year,
- 40:47Speaker 4: six times First Team All Pro. The list goes on
- 40:50Speaker 4: big thanks to Coach Prime for joining us here.
- 40:52Speaker 3: He is Deon Sanders way back.
- 40:56Speaker 5: Please don't rush his interview. Let me take my time.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Thank thank you, thank you very much, thank you very much.
- 41:04Speaker 5: Yeah, what we were going to do together, I don't.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Know where God stopped.
- 41:07Speaker 3: I know I do, so you do what you're doing now,
- 41:09Speaker 3: show together.
- 41:10Speaker 5: I don't know where God stopped.
- 41:11Speaker 12: It stopped that because it's no way we weren't supposed
- 41:16Speaker 12: to do that.
- 41:16Speaker 3: What if God didn't stop it?
- 41:17Speaker 4: What if God was like, this is what he and
- 41:20Speaker 4: he should be doing instead?
- 41:21Speaker 3: And maybe at some other point I.
- 41:23Speaker 12: Think I think you're right, because after that, I'm watching.
- 41:26Speaker 9: You just sore.
- 41:28Speaker 12: No, you got to be kiddnous guys, I mean everywhere.
- 41:33Speaker 9: That's my Bobby.
- 41:34Speaker 4: I felt a little guilty last night because I wanted
- 41:36Speaker 4: to say hi. But you know how the because as
- 41:38Speaker 4: soon as I came over and gave your hug, they
- 41:39Speaker 4: pulled me back. Yeah, because you were sitting on your no,
- 41:42Speaker 4: I know, and I felt the same.
- 41:44Speaker 5: You tell the people before we go back.
- 41:46Speaker 4: We spent Let me say this, I was with Kurt
- 41:48Speaker 4: Warner last night and if your nose was it you?
- 41:50Speaker 4: My grandma used to say, like there were You can
- 41:53Speaker 4: always tell how people feel about somebody when they talk
- 41:56Speaker 4: about him and they're not there.
- 41:57Speaker 5: True.
- 41:58Speaker 3: And Kurt Warner.
- 42:00Speaker 5: I love Kurt though Kurt is a great deal.
- 42:02Speaker 4: Like we were just it was just a Dion LoveFest
- 42:06Speaker 4: and so we were talking about you walk back to say
- 42:09Speaker 4: I'm gonna try to say hi, and uh.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Curt and his wife were excellent.
- 42:12Speaker 4: We sat with them for two hours last night and
- 42:14Speaker 4: oh my god, came back saw you and Kurt was.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Like, how do you know? How you know Dion?
- 42:19Speaker 4: And I said, well, he let me sit with him
- 42:21Speaker 4: at lunch the very first I like, I went to
- 42:24Speaker 4: this cattle call. He didn't, Dean didn't have to go
- 42:26Speaker 4: to the cattle call. I went to the cattle call
- 42:27Speaker 4: because nobody even knew who I was by the show, Yeah,
- 42:30Speaker 4: by TV show, and and I said, I'm there with
- 42:32Speaker 4: like I make it to the second day and they
- 42:35Speaker 4: have Dion there with like the real famous people, and
- 42:37Speaker 4: I get elevated from like junior varsity divarsity and nobody.
- 42:41Speaker 4: Everybody had their own clicks. And the person that was
- 42:43Speaker 4: like so inviting was Dion. You could sit here. It's
- 42:46Speaker 4: like the forest Gump scene. And I said, I was like, wow,
- 42:48Speaker 4: I was so not so kind, I said. Then we
- 42:50Speaker 4: just kept working again. It was like felt like we
- 42:54Speaker 4: were just naturally we helew up together.
- 42:57Speaker 3: I mean it just felt like that we was crocking
- 42:58Speaker 3: in tubs. And then we worked together for weeks and
- 43:01Speaker 3: we did the show. Loved the show. And then they
- 43:03Speaker 3: did they got some executives, changed hands, they shot it,
- 43:07Speaker 3: they shut it down.
- 43:08Speaker 12: But it was crazy, like we our whole lives are
- 43:12Speaker 12: going to have to change, We're gonna have to relocate.
- 43:15Speaker 5: And I didn't like that.
- 43:16Speaker 3: And I didn't like that either.
- 43:17Speaker 5: I didn't like that either.
- 43:19Speaker 12: And I just could imagine because I was already thinking
- 43:22Speaker 12: for it, and like, Okay, I'm going to have to
- 43:24Speaker 12: take my son's because you know, because.
- 43:27Speaker 3: You're coaching them in high school.
- 43:29Speaker 12: I was coaching, yeah, and I wasn't going to take
- 43:30Speaker 12: my kids and put them in schools in New York.
- 43:32Speaker 5: And I don't want to do this, like I don't
- 43:36Speaker 5: and it just.
- 43:36Speaker 3: Fell through and maybe that's why. That's maybe why we
- 43:39Speaker 3: didn't do it right then. Yeah, So I love you
- 43:42Speaker 3: like and you know it's funny, is like the performer
- 43:44Speaker 3: part of you, Like, I understand and I love it.
- 43:48Speaker 3: But when people like start to slander, like the person,
- 43:50Speaker 3: I get upset, like, well, they don't know exactly exactly
- 43:55Speaker 3: that that's what it is, like people.
- 43:56Speaker 5: Passed for lack of knowledge.
- 43:58Speaker 2: They don't know, they don't know.
- 43:59Speaker 4: But but I'm proud of you, man, I'm seeing you sore.
- 44:03Speaker 2: I'm talking about sore.
- 44:04Speaker 3: You coaching in the m v P, the softball game.
- 44:07Speaker 7: That's crazy Oh my god, crazy dominating.
- 44:10Speaker 3: That wasn't mean that you key in the rules where
- 44:12Speaker 3: everybody played one inning?
- 44:13Speaker 2: Uh yeah, I mean that's my question. Why did you
- 44:15Speaker 2: keep him in coach?
- 44:16Speaker 7: Like Bobby ain't leaving and I was.
- 44:17Speaker 5: Like he was hot, you'd go with a hot hand. Yeah,
- 44:21Speaker 5: Bobbie not only like hitting while I was good fielding
- 44:24Speaker 5: like he was the MVP.
- 44:25Speaker 2: He was just showing up and showing out and he was.
- 44:28Speaker 12: You gotta understand, Bobby's a perfectionist and he wants to
- 44:32Speaker 12: do everything right and he wants to achieve and go
- 44:35Speaker 12: to the highest level. So why everybody's there playing a
- 44:38Speaker 12: softball game?
- 44:39Speaker 5: He was playing? No, No, he was trying all right.
- 44:43Speaker 13: You wanted to win too, though. You wanted to win
- 44:45Speaker 13: as bad as anybody. Yes, yes, they didn't want to win.
- 44:49Speaker 13: You keep this, I want to win, of course. So
- 44:52Speaker 13: I was like seeing the tall you can sit down and.
- 44:55Speaker 3: Starts getting hutched back together.
- 44:56Speaker 4: For that.
- 44:57Speaker 2: You dominated that game, though, man.
- 44:59Speaker 3: That's fine.
- 45:00Speaker 5: Dominated.
- 45:00Speaker 4: What's what's life like in Colorado? I love it, man,
- 45:03Speaker 4: Like just living life aside from the job, Like, what's.
- 45:07Speaker 12: It's not even a job, man, It's almost like it's
- 45:10Speaker 12: it's it's fun. It's like going to be We never
- 45:14Speaker 12: know the voice of our navigational systems that we have
- 45:16Speaker 12: on our phone and cars, but it's like I'm the
- 45:20Speaker 12: navigational system for these young men, trying to direct their
- 45:24Speaker 12: paths through this and that, to and fro school relationships, life,
- 45:30Speaker 12: trying to get them to make sure they sustain for
- 45:32Speaker 12: certain things and they don't take advantage of certain things.
- 45:35Speaker 5: I love it. I love the role that God has
- 45:37Speaker 5: me in.
- 45:38Speaker 12: I love coaching these young men and being able to
- 45:41Speaker 12: form them and shape them and mold them. I love that,
- 45:44Speaker 12: you know, the last three semesters the highest GP way
- 45:47Speaker 12: over three point zero in the history of the school,
- 45:50Speaker 12: like the high GPA ever for the football team.
- 45:53Speaker 5: I love all that. Nobody's going to jail, nobody's been incosserrated.
- 45:55Speaker 5: You know. I love it. I love being a coach.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Your office is wide open to anyone.
- 46:02Speaker 5: No, no, you, I don't play that.
- 46:06Speaker 12: And you know what else, You can't come in my
- 46:08Speaker 12: office with your shoes on because the carpet is like
- 46:10Speaker 12: that thick and it's beautiful, and you got to.
- 46:13Speaker 5: Be accompanied by someone. I don't have private meetings.
- 46:16Speaker 12: I always have someone there just in case, it goes
- 46:18Speaker 12: sideways and you try to claim like this happened, and
- 46:21Speaker 12: this will say it.
- 46:21Speaker 5: No, no, no. I always have a witness in.
- 46:23Speaker 12: The room or you're coaching for your position, But if
- 46:26Speaker 12: they schedule a time with me, they can. But some
- 46:28Speaker 12: guys come on you know, Travers come up there every day,
- 46:31Speaker 12: he did. Some guys come whenever they want to because
- 46:33Speaker 12: we've established that relationship. But you got to establish the
- 46:36Speaker 12: relationship to be able to do that.
- 46:37Speaker 3: When I was growing up, you know, my mom was
- 46:40Speaker 3: an addict and I have a dad, so there were
- 46:41Speaker 3: people that stepped in my life, like youth pastor football coach.
- 46:46Speaker 3: I feel like that's a responsibility that you take with
- 46:50Speaker 3: some of those kids too.
- 46:51Speaker 5: And I love it. I love it. I mean I
- 46:54Speaker 5: think not just football.
- 46:56Speaker 12: Some of those kids were called to me, and I
- 46:57Speaker 12: was called to them for their lives, to help them
- 46:59Speaker 12: navigate through the storms and the pain. Because we're gonna
- 47:01Speaker 12: have dysfunctions. It's never a time where everything's gonna be right.
- 47:05Speaker 12: When you have all this together, some bull junk over
- 47:07Speaker 12: there's gonna happen. Then you get that together, that's something
- 47:09Speaker 12: over here is gonna happen. So it's gonna be tribulation,
- 47:12Speaker 12: and I'm thankful that I've been allowed to go through
- 47:15Speaker 12: so much bull junk that I could speak intelligently on
- 47:19Speaker 12: all the stuff that they're going through.
- 47:20Speaker 5: That's why I'm navigating my sons. When I see Chador sitting.
- 47:23Speaker 12: Up there and they are coming at him, and he's
- 47:25Speaker 12: sending them the interview, smiling and just giving it to
- 47:27Speaker 12: him and giving it to him professionally, I love it
- 47:30Speaker 12: because we prepare for these moments.
- 47:32Speaker 4: How do you as a dad, because I think this
- 47:34Speaker 4: is a situation that I'm gonna have because circumstantially we
- 47:37Speaker 4: grew up very similar.
- 47:38Speaker 5: Right, that's right.
- 47:40Speaker 4: How do you as a dad because your sons are
- 47:43Speaker 4: not growing up the same way you did?
- 47:45Speaker 9: Right?
- 47:46Speaker 3: How do you make sure they have values and they
- 47:48Speaker 3: understand what they have and don't have.
- 47:51Speaker 12: That use meaning the dog because most of us are
- 47:54Speaker 12: raising cats and not dogs.
- 47:56Speaker 5: What I mean by that is your circumstances, my circumstances.
- 47:59Speaker 12: The way we can came up without and what we saw,
- 48:02Speaker 12: what we witnessed, and what scarred us and what prepared
- 48:04Speaker 12: us and kept us and compelled us to get to
- 48:06Speaker 12: the next level. That's our story. Now, when we get
- 48:10Speaker 12: to be parents. We want to chaperon our kids and
- 48:12Speaker 12: we don't want them to go through that, but we
- 48:14Speaker 12: want them to be a dog.
- 48:16Speaker 5: But we raising cats.
- 48:17Speaker 12: So you got to make sure you take that cat
- 48:19Speaker 12: over to places that they can be a dog, because
- 48:23Speaker 12: they can't always be a cat. Because now when something
- 48:26Speaker 12: trial and tribulation hit them upside the head, they're not
- 48:28Speaker 12: gonna be to handle it because you've always protected them
- 48:31Speaker 12: and gutted them and that can't be the case. You
- 48:33Speaker 12: got to let them touch that of and so they
- 48:35Speaker 12: find out it's hot every now and and.
- 48:37Speaker 3: Is that hard to do sometimes it let them touch
- 48:38Speaker 3: the other, Yeah.
- 48:39Speaker 2: It is, but they got to They got to go
- 48:42Speaker 2: through it.
- 48:42Speaker 12: And all my kids have gone through things differently at
- 48:45Speaker 12: different ages and stages, and you could just tell me
- 48:48Speaker 12: what happened, and I can tell you which one of
- 48:50Speaker 12: my five kids did it because I know them that
- 48:52Speaker 12: intimately and that psychologically.
- 48:55Speaker 5: I know them like a book.
- 48:57Speaker 12: And I know what they can with saying and what
- 48:59Speaker 12: they can and they could grow up in the same
- 49:01Speaker 12: home and be two totally different kids.
- 49:02Speaker 5: And I have that coach.
- 49:04Speaker 8: We watched you last night with Bill Belichick at the
- 49:07Speaker 8: NFL Honors he.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Seems kind of like a funny dude, you know.
- 49:11Speaker 12: Like because away from the game has allowed his personality
- 49:17Speaker 12: to come out. It has allowed him to sit back
- 49:20Speaker 12: and look and say, I'm so intense and I'm doing
- 49:22Speaker 12: this and I'm not enjoying any of these moments. And
- 49:25Speaker 12: when people start passing away like I've had recently the
- 49:28Speaker 12: last couple of weeks, people very close to me, you
- 49:31Speaker 12: start thinking about these moments, man, in these moments you
- 49:33Speaker 12: have left and you want to enjoy and it can't
- 49:35Speaker 12: be all about the challenge and the game.
- 49:37Speaker 5: It's got to be about life and people.
- 49:39Speaker 9: Man.
- 49:39Speaker 5: That's what makes us tech, That's what makes us smile
- 49:41Speaker 5: people in life.
- 49:42Speaker 3: You talk about your son's playing football, being a basketball dad. Yeah,
- 49:45Speaker 3: with your daughter, yeah, like what.
- 49:47Speaker 9: I love it.
- 49:48Speaker 12: And she's learning right now because she made the decision
- 49:50Speaker 12: that she got to stick it out. I was trying
- 49:53Speaker 12: to chaperon her and lead her to certain places, but
- 49:56Speaker 12: she wanted to do it on her own and she
- 49:58Speaker 12: made a good choice. But she has the fight it out.
- 50:00Speaker 12: It's not as simplistic as she thought it was going
- 50:02Speaker 12: to be. So we have some great conversations and I
- 50:04Speaker 12: talking to it the other day, and she said, Dad,
- 50:07Speaker 12: you know, I just start reading the Bible.
- 50:10Speaker 5: I'm reading Proverbs.
- 50:11Speaker 12: And I almost cried on the Durant phone because it
- 50:14Speaker 12: seems like it's now. It's happening now, the maturation and
- 50:18Speaker 12: maturity and the understanding and the wisdom is starting to happen.
- 50:21Speaker 3: So you're here with California almonds.
- 50:24Speaker 5: I love it. I'm an almond guy, you know, like
- 50:27Speaker 5: you leaning me and win.
- 50:30Speaker 12: I got to stay leaning mean too, man, I can't
- 50:32Speaker 12: be one of those out of shit did he really play?
- 50:35Speaker 12: So it helps me recover, It keeps me steadfast, keeps
- 50:40Speaker 12: the skin nice and and pretty impresonable. But it helps
- 50:45Speaker 12: me stay during fit and lean because when I'm hungry
- 50:49Speaker 12: at night, hungry out the.
- 50:51Speaker 5: Day, I just snack on armors.
- 50:52Speaker 12: Man, I don't get that peanut butter and jealousy, which
- 50:54Speaker 12: like I used to that baloney and cheese, like we
- 50:56Speaker 12: grew up on her.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Those being an even worry when it.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Hump up, hump up in the middle.
- 51:04Speaker 3: So you know about that too, Sorry, Yeah, yeah, I
- 51:07Speaker 3: love it, man.
- 51:08Speaker 12: I you know I always think, Man, you have no
- 51:10Speaker 12: idea how many times I think about what would have
- 51:13Speaker 12: and could have and should it. But from that time
- 51:15Speaker 12: we spent together, we formed the tremendous relationships. And every
- 51:18Speaker 12: time I see you on television or doing anything, even
- 51:21Speaker 12: the tours, you do like that is my god, my god.
- 51:25Speaker 3: It feels like you don't you don't miss a beat,
- 51:28Speaker 3: you know what I mean? Right, all right, Well, you're
- 51:31Speaker 3: the bell of the ball here, so I'm gonna let
- 51:32Speaker 3: you be the bell. But love your rooting for you,
- 51:35Speaker 3: and thanks for stopping by.
- 51:36Speaker 5: You know what.
- 51:37Speaker 12: I gotta get you because I love you looking in
- 51:38Speaker 12: the style of shades you were. I gotta get you
- 51:41Speaker 12: some blenders, but I gotta get a prescription for you
- 51:43Speaker 12: so you you could rock the blenders.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Now, I don't know what that means.
- 51:50Speaker 8: Like those truck like bones bones, this could be good.
- 51:56Speaker 5: See. Oh my god, Oh my god, Jesus, how's the look?
- 52:01Speaker 13: Oh okay, somebody please take a picture because this is
- 52:04Speaker 13: the look.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, okay, this is the twenty twenty five look.
- 52:06Speaker 2: This is the new Bobby Bones.
- 52:08Speaker 12: Look.
- 52:08Speaker 3: This is I'm gonna I'm gonna send my prescription to
- 52:10Speaker 3: one of your guys, say I'm getting the prescriptions. Yeah,
- 52:13Speaker 3: I got it, And I'm aware I got you. I'm
- 52:15Speaker 3: aware of all right, you go do your thing. Love
- 52:17Speaker 3: you say, I appreciate you.
- 52:19Speaker 5: This is my brother from another mother.
- 52:21Speaker 3: I'm meeting Almonds all day, every day for a week.
- 52:23Speaker 3: Please yeah, mere coach primerybody.
- 52:33Speaker 4: Okay, we just had Terrell Davis, uh and the role
- 52:38Speaker 4: was we needed to recognize him as he walked up.
- 52:40Speaker 4: And this is for Kevin's super Bowl ticket? Eddie, your thoughts?
- 52:44Speaker 4: Would you recognize him?
- 52:46Speaker 8: I try to act like I couldn't recognize him, that's
- 52:48Speaker 8: my honest opinion.
- 52:49Speaker 2: But I recognize him.
- 52:50Speaker 10: Well.
- 52:50Speaker 4: I think the gold jacket helped too, because you're like
- 52:53Speaker 4: wearing a gold jacket.
- 52:56Speaker 3: Good looking guy, bald head. Yeah, still look like he
- 53:01Speaker 3: could go, Still looks fit.
- 53:03Speaker 4: So Kevin, you're listening to us if we both agree
- 53:06Speaker 4: that we recognize him. And I haven't said yet that
- 53:07Speaker 4: I recognize them immediately.
- 53:08Speaker 2: Oh okay, all right, so.
- 53:10Speaker 3: How did you How did you get him?
- 53:12Speaker 6: He was walking by him with his team and I said, hey, Terrell,
- 53:15Speaker 6: I got super Bowl ticket on the line here. I
- 53:17Speaker 6: need you for two minutes with my guys over here.
- 53:19Speaker 6: Bobby Bones, Well, we kept them for like fifteen weeks.
- 53:21Speaker 9: I know.
- 53:22Speaker 7: No one told us to listen. Listen I'm not done.
- 53:25Speaker 3: I'm mad.
- 53:26Speaker 7: I'm not done.
- 53:27Speaker 9: Guys.
- 53:28Speaker 6: Turns out his lady, who does his booking, has tried
- 53:31Speaker 6: to get on with us before. She's like, I know,
- 53:32Speaker 6: Bobby Bones. Remember we met her in LA at the
- 53:35Speaker 6: Chargers camp. Do you remember her in the parking lot?
- 53:38Speaker 7: Of course, Oh my god, I did. It's same lady.
- 53:41Speaker 7: And she's like, oh my gosh. So she's like, he
- 53:42Speaker 7: can stay up there.
- 53:43Speaker 3: I was.
- 53:44Speaker 2: I was like, I'll just lie.
- 53:45Speaker 6: It's read what the Bills were receiver from like the nineties.
- 53:50Speaker 7: Andre Reid his wife. It's his wife. So it all
- 53:53Speaker 7: worked out.
- 53:54Speaker 3: Dude, that's crazy. Okay. I absolutely recognized him. I actually
- 53:57Speaker 3: recognized me. Deal, I said, so, okay, yeah, yeah, it's recording.
- 54:03Speaker 4: I just get Mike, are you sure recording? You know what,
- 54:06Speaker 4: I'm gonna be honest with you. If it wouldn't have been,
- 54:07Speaker 4: I'd have believed it. So definitely recognized him.
- 54:12Speaker 2: Eddie recognized him.
- 54:13Speaker 4: He had the gold jacket on Kevin, so Kevin I
- 54:17Speaker 4: will now declare you are going to the Super Bowl.
- 54:25Speaker 6: What a road from I even got another signature and
- 54:28Speaker 6: another video Cherry on top boys.
- 54:30Speaker 4: Who's the other signature on the football how you look
- 54:32Speaker 4: at it. Okay, so again, just as a reminder, he
- 54:35Speaker 4: had to get a video of somebody that was famous
- 54:38Speaker 4: promoting twenty five whistles a signature on a football. He
- 54:41Speaker 4: didn't have a football. He had to find a football.
- 54:42Speaker 3: Okay, here we go, we have the green.
- 54:44Speaker 7: Look at the signature.
- 54:44Speaker 3: Yeah, let me say if I can name it.
- 54:45Speaker 4: So this first one is Logan Ryan who touched football
- 54:48Speaker 4: champ And that looks like Chris Sims NBC.
- 54:51Speaker 2: Wow, Chris Simms, you met Chris Simms, what.
- 54:56Speaker 3: Like, It's cool? But I don't know if it's wow.
- 54:58Speaker 2: I thought it was his dad. My bad. I thought
- 55:00Speaker 2: thought Phil Simms.
- 55:01Speaker 4: And then I thought you were going a little too
- 55:03Speaker 4: hard because Chris Sims doesn't know taking Yeah, yeah, I
- 55:08Speaker 4: agree with Chris Sims. Chris Sims doesn't thought it was
- 55:10Speaker 4: Phil mean as a yes, as an announcer.
- 55:13Speaker 3: Great. I hate Texas though, So that part of it
- 55:16Speaker 3: major apple White. Chris Sims remember that?
- 55:18Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 55:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah, So you heard the whole thing.
- 55:22Speaker 3: Because you reacted in such a way I thought you
- 55:23Speaker 3: were lying.
- 55:24Speaker 2: I'm telling you. I thought it was Phil Simms and
- 55:25Speaker 2: I was like, oh my.
- 55:26Speaker 3: God, I think Chris Sims does a great job for
- 55:28Speaker 3: the record.
- 55:29Speaker 4: Okay, for the record, Okay, And then you got another video.
- 55:33Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm not gonna lie. It's the same person.
- 55:36Speaker 3: But you got another Andrew Whitworth videos.
- 55:38Speaker 7: It's Chris Simms, but it's a lot better.
- 55:40Speaker 10: Listen.
- 55:40Speaker 7: Listen, yo, yo, what's up.
- 55:43Speaker 2: It's Chris Simms.
- 55:44Speaker 4: Listen to twenty five whistles wherever you get your podcast.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Peace out right?
- 55:48Speaker 4: You know what between two Chris Simms is and Andrew Whitworth,
- 55:52Speaker 4: a Logan, Ryan a Cam, Cam Hayward and Terrell Davis.
- 56:00Speaker 3: You got a super Bowl ticket?
- 56:02Speaker 6: Let's go all right, Hey, forget the baby, forget the baby,
- 56:07Speaker 6: send me on the scavenger.
- 56:09Speaker 3: Second of all.
- 56:10Speaker 4: Second of all, he's having a baby, so it sounds
- 56:13Speaker 4: like he's yelling forget the baby.
- 56:15Speaker 7: Yeah, hey, Alex, I love you. Hey, we got two
- 56:17Speaker 7: babies on the way.
- 56:18Speaker 9: I love you.
- 56:18Speaker 3: All right, all right. First of all, I'd like to
- 56:21Speaker 3: say the jacket it just demands respect because it is,
- 56:25Speaker 3: in all seriousness, it is the There are two jackets
- 56:29Speaker 3: that jacket in the green jacket. If you're in the masters,
- 56:32Speaker 3: those are the most elast I'm.
- 56:33Speaker 10: Trying to think. I think you're right, that's it.
- 56:36Speaker 14: Yeah, that green Master's jacket is pretty dope, but but yes,
- 56:41Speaker 14: I think this one gets more love. Yeah, when people
- 56:45Speaker 14: see it, you can't help but like to recognize that's
- 56:48Speaker 14: the gold jacket.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Where do you keep it? And then also can't tell
- 56:52Speaker 3: you that? Okay, fair enough, you don't want to.
- 56:56Speaker 4: Secondly, though, if you get it now, all that company
- 56:59Speaker 4: to you, you do keep it at the house, So
- 57:02Speaker 4: maybe exactly do you send it off to get it
- 57:06Speaker 4: dry cleaned?
- 57:07Speaker 14: You know, it's a great question, and I had I
- 57:12Speaker 14: did it before.
- 57:13Speaker 10: I did it a few times.
- 57:15Speaker 14: And you know, one of my my dry cleaner guy
- 57:18Speaker 14: doesn't even know who I am.
- 57:19Speaker 10: Like I've been going to him.
- 57:20Speaker 14: This is this is my guy out of LA And
- 57:22Speaker 14: he didn't know who I was for a long time.
- 57:24Speaker 14: But when he saw the jacket, he couldn't. He was like,
- 57:26Speaker 14: this is a beautiful jacket. He didn't know what what
- 57:28Speaker 14: it was. And he was saying, like this fabric you
- 57:31Speaker 14: can't get anywhere because that's what he was into. And
- 57:35Speaker 14: so I was like, that's cool because he doesn't know.
- 57:38Speaker 14: So I sent it him all the time. He never
- 57:40Speaker 14: asked questions about it other than say it was a
- 57:41Speaker 14: beautiful jacket. Like I don't think he read this. He
- 57:44Speaker 14: just he just cleaned the jacket and never asked any questions.
- 57:46Speaker 3: And that's who you want to have.
- 57:47Speaker 4: It doesn't understand, yes, because this is you're going to
- 57:50Speaker 4: do the good stuff to it and not like show
- 57:52Speaker 4: up to their buddies.
- 57:53Speaker 14: Yea or or hey man, we don't know what happened
- 57:57Speaker 14: to it.
- 57:59Speaker 8: It's also cool that the fabric is unique in a
- 58:01Speaker 8: jacket like that, like they actually put care into a
- 58:04Speaker 8: jacket like that, not just like here's your gold jacket.
- 58:06Speaker 14: That's well, that's what they said so last that's what
- 58:09Speaker 14: they could business though.
- 58:10Speaker 10: I was. I was.
- 58:12Speaker 3: I was the NFL Honors. That's part of the show
- 58:14Speaker 3: is doing a little presentation.
- 58:16Speaker 4: And my buddy Jared Allen, who had been passed over
- 58:19Speaker 4: a few times, you know, like a couple of weeks ago,
- 58:21Speaker 4: literally talked to him. He was like, man, like it's
- 58:24Speaker 4: sore spot, like I've been back, and he finally got
- 58:27Speaker 4: it and he got to go on stage last night.
- 58:29Speaker 3: These kids like what are those?
- 58:31Speaker 4: What does it feel like to finally be acknowledged And
- 58:34Speaker 4: for you you didn't have to wait, well I waited.
- 58:36Speaker 10: I waited as long as Jared. Jared wait, No, Jared
- 58:39Speaker 10: only waited what like three years?
- 58:41Speaker 3: How long did you have to wait?
- 58:43Speaker 10: Eleven years?
- 58:43Speaker 14: No?
- 58:44Speaker 3: Way years?
- 58:45Speaker 2: Revision is history.
- 58:46Speaker 3: I feel like you got a year one.
- 58:47Speaker 10: No, No, I waited.
- 58:51Speaker 3: Who knocked on your door?
- 58:53Speaker 2: Uh?
- 58:53Speaker 10: That's when they had it? Where Who the hut was
- 59:01Speaker 10: the name? Blanking me?
- 59:02Speaker 3: Do they not not going? Is it they switch?
- 59:04Speaker 14: Because it wasn't so back then? No, it was David Baker.
- 59:07Speaker 14: David Baker was the who ran the Hall of Fame.
- 59:09Speaker 14: They didn't have it where players did it, so they
- 59:13Speaker 14: only had it where players did it just recently.
- 59:16Speaker 10: So I had to wait.
- 59:17Speaker 14: Not only was I waiting to get my name called,
- 59:20Speaker 14: you know, to be a finalist. When I when I
- 59:24Speaker 14: became a finalist, I had to go through another three
- 59:26Speaker 14: years of waiting.
- 59:28Speaker 10: So you make it to the.
- 59:29Speaker 14: Top fifteen, that's the finalists, and then you have to
- 59:31Speaker 14: then it goes from fifteen to five and then they
- 59:34Speaker 14: vote on those five to to go in.
- 59:37Speaker 10: So I waited. I waited a long time.
- 59:38Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 59:39Speaker 3: I had no idea. It feels like then, I demand
- 59:41Speaker 3: to recount from year one. Yes, because you should have
- 59:43Speaker 3: got it immediately.
- 59:45Speaker 14: No, I mean, listen, the bottom line was for me,
- 59:49Speaker 14: I kind of I respected the process and it happened
- 59:53Speaker 14: the way it happened.
- 59:54Speaker 3: How close was the bus to your real head? Though,
- 59:55Speaker 3: when you look at it.
- 59:56Speaker 10: Art, it's pretty damn close.
- 59:57Speaker 9: Man.
- 59:57Speaker 10: My wife was was right there.
- 59:58Speaker 14: She was instrumental in can sure that the imperfections were
- 1:00:02Speaker 14: perfected right, like she wanted to make sure that it
- 1:00:05Speaker 14: was like me, and she did a great job. Because
- 1:00:08Speaker 14: what happens is they you sit with your guy he
- 1:00:10Speaker 14: makes the bus, and then they get they show it
- 1:00:13Speaker 14: to you and you can come in and watch. So
- 1:00:16Speaker 14: the first time they do it, you're sitting there for
- 1:00:18Speaker 14: hours and he's just sitting there with a big old
- 1:00:20Speaker 14: mold of clay and he's going through the stuff. And
- 1:00:23Speaker 14: then they take it. You go, and then they come
- 1:00:26Speaker 14: back a week or two later. I asked you to
- 1:00:28Speaker 14: come back, and my wife came with me the second time,
- 1:00:31Speaker 14: and then that's when the details were filled in.
- 1:00:32Speaker 9: So I was.
- 1:00:33Speaker 14: I was pretty pleased with it, you know, Unlike when
- 1:00:36Speaker 14: you see some statues, you're like, what the hell?
- 1:00:38Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I look at yourself in the mirror.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: What are you questioning yourself? Do I look? God?
- 1:00:47Speaker 14: Shoot, I mean who had the statue recently, Bado.
- 1:00:53Speaker 10: But somebody just came in after him, right.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Uh so Rinaldo had the bad one, and then the
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: one that was even a real statue, we d Wade.
- 1:01:04Speaker 10: Wade, Y d Wade one.
- 1:01:06Speaker 14: That was the other one that was awful. Wait, like,
- 1:01:09Speaker 14: come on, dude, like respect the people enough to allow
- 1:01:12Speaker 14: them to see it and have an opinion before you
- 1:01:15Speaker 14: make it public. And I hope they're going to do
- 1:01:18Speaker 14: him justice and go redo it.
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: It's so permanent.
- 1:01:22Speaker 10: No, it's gotta go.
- 1:01:24Speaker 14: I had two final questions should be if they don't
- 1:01:27Speaker 14: redo that damn statue.
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: Which one of your teammates do you talk to the most?
- 1:01:32Speaker 14: Probably a guy named Byron Chamberlain came in with me
- 1:01:35Speaker 14: in ninety five. He was a tight end. I was
- 1:01:38Speaker 14: one ninety six. I think he was in the was
- 1:01:40Speaker 14: seventh rounder. That was my buddy. Still my boy to
- 1:01:43Speaker 14: this day. Played on the Super Bowl teams with me.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: Do you guys meet on the team?
- 1:01:48Speaker 14: I met him, actually I met his buddy were we
- 1:01:50Speaker 14: were coming to Denver for a rookie after the draft.
- 1:01:53Speaker 14: I think it was our rookie symposium or something like that.
- 1:01:56Speaker 14: A rookie rookie camp. And I saw him at the
- 1:01:58Speaker 14: airport and he was sitting by. He was just sitting by,
- 1:02:01Speaker 14: like on a wall, waiting, you know, waiting for somebody.
- 1:02:05Speaker 14: Now I'm in We're in Denver. It's the only black
- 1:02:07Speaker 14: dude that's that's on the wall. I'm like, wait a minute,
- 1:02:09Speaker 14: that dude gotta be going where I'm going. Ain't nobody
- 1:02:12Speaker 14: else black and that dude and he looked like a
- 1:02:14Speaker 14: football player, And I'm like, this is figure out where
- 1:02:16Speaker 14: he's going. It's sure enough. He was waiting for the
- 1:02:18Speaker 14: Broncos bus to pick him up.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: Talking about Cameo for a second.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: The last thing I want to mention though, is but
- 1:02:23Speaker 4: do you feel like it gave you an advantage playing
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: and training in Denver when you played in teams where
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: the altitude wasn't as high.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it helped your.
- 1:02:31Speaker 14: Yeah, because there's no better place to train. And when
- 1:02:34Speaker 14: you train at altitude and you're you know, you're giving
- 1:02:38Speaker 14: it everything you got and.
- 1:02:39Speaker 10: You're you're expanding your lungs.
- 1:02:41Speaker 14: When we played at sea level, it was it was
- 1:02:44Speaker 14: so easy to be in the game and just be
- 1:02:46Speaker 14: at you know, being the ninety percent, you know, basically
- 1:02:50Speaker 14: like energy wise, like you never had to come down
- 1:02:52Speaker 14: to sixty to seventy and then no, you feel like
- 1:02:54Speaker 14: you were always playing pretty high, which helps you on
- 1:02:57Speaker 14: the field, but the neutralizers would if you played in humidity,
- 1:03:02Speaker 14: you know, that would neutralize the altitude.
- 1:03:04Speaker 10: I don't care where the hell you where you've trained.
- 1:03:07Speaker 14: When you go play in humidity and it sucks and
- 1:03:09Speaker 14: drains all the energy that you you feel it something.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna get a cameo from you what to do?
- 1:03:14Speaker 14: Yeah, well, so you got you call up. I mean
- 1:03:16Speaker 14: you know, I know, I got I got to get prior.
- 1:03:20Speaker 14: I literally have that.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: I used cameo.
- 1:03:22Speaker 10: Where you go.
- 1:03:22Speaker 14: So just go ahead and book me. Just book me
- 1:03:25Speaker 14: and say just just say just tell me to say hi.
- 1:03:28Speaker 10: That's it.
- 1:03:29Speaker 14: Don't don't have me working, don't have me like some
- 1:03:31Speaker 14: people don't put a lot of details. Oh my god,
- 1:03:33Speaker 14: they will still say I'm like to wait a minute,
- 1:03:36Speaker 14: home boy, like this. This is not a full appearance
- 1:03:38Speaker 14: like like this, this this made me two different.
- 1:03:41Speaker 10: You know, asks don't come through the whole list.
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: Of do you do this?
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: We really appreciate the time.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Thanks for the jacket.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: The jackets, so sick, so I thank you, big fan,
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: and I hope you up for great rest of the weekend.
- 1:03:52Speaker 10: I appreciate me. All right.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: Okay, we are in my hotel room at a Saturday evening,
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: six pm. I'm exhausted for a couple of reasons. One,
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: we've been on the ROAs since Tuesday, and that's finally
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: caught up between doing the radio shows and the podcast
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: and the live shows and that all the interviews.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: It's awesome. It's champagne problems for sure. But and then
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: it was a sick all day yesterday. So yeah, I'm tired.
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: I could go home right now to come back tomorrow night, absolutely,
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: like I could have gone home last night to come
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: back tomorrow night because we did nothing today.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Nothing. I could have stayed in bed all day.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: And I kind of did.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: The funny thing, I have a half a million views
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: on an Instagram I put up this morning because my
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: bathtube is rusted out. Okay, So the funny thing is
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: my stomachs.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Were killing me.
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: I mentioned that earlier, and for a whole day it's
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: been killing me. And food poisoning, which I think people
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: throw that around pretty loosely. I almost had food poison
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: I think I had food illness, food not work. It
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: wasn't violent. When I get food poisoning. Sometimes it's island
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: and it's headache and it's crazy vomiting. Like I had
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: diary a little bit, but I've just been hurting so
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: bad for like thirty six.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Hours from the move.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: Yeah from MOFA said the bad guy in Lanking.
- 1:05:12Speaker 15: I saw that when Eddie brought a target and I
- 1:05:13Speaker 15: was like, I don't.
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: Like thinking about it.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: I was like, no, you hear me, doesn't want to
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: talk about it.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: Kevin still in the fridge. The other half of it
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: is you want to spend the wheel to see.
- 1:05:25Speaker 16: Been a way to get a Super Bowl ticket? Eat
- 1:05:28Speaker 16: the other half of the muffle.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: Here we god.
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: So I posted that video on my Instagram and I
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: got a bunch of texts like, why are you staying
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: in such a disgusting room?
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: It's not it's it's a sweet it's fine. It's not,
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: it's fine. It's fine room.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: I mean, Carl, it's a nice hotel room.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: It's an okay room. But my answer was, we're in
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: the living room.
- 1:05:54Speaker 15: We're in the living room of sid room.
- 1:05:57Speaker 8: I think ours was built in the thirties and it
- 1:06:00Speaker 8: remained the same way.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: My point is there are no rooms, right, so it
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: doesn't to get any room was going to be difficult.
- 1:06:08Speaker 8: What's funny is when you go down to like any
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: kind of front desk and say like hey, like say
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: your situation, Hey, there's rust in my shower, they'd be
- 1:06:15Speaker 8: like okay.
- 1:06:17Speaker 15: And what Yeah, that'll be no extra charge.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: So I have no complaints about the room I got into.
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: I took a bath in that thing twice.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: That's tough, yes, because my stomach is hurting so bad,
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: And so I won't say it was from it. It's
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: from somebody that's pretty famous. And I texted the image
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: over to Matt Dell, who's here with us and still
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: and sleeping on the bus, who've been sleeping on the
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: bus under the overpass for the last three nights, shout out.
- 1:06:46Speaker 15: I'm having the best experience.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: So I texted to Matt, like, I get this text,
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: I'll just read it to you because it does look
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: it looks like Dookie in the Bathroube as much as
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: it does anything else.
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: I stopped watching the immediately.
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: Yeah, And the person who texted me said, JFC, JFC,
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: just no.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: Jesus, Oh, I got it.
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: That bathtub. Are you in the Hilton question Mark? And
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: I said, no, that would be a luxury. They have
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: me in that plank whatever, man, I said, I think
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: it's the NFL employee rookie hazing, and then he said,
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: holy f. So I texted up from Matt and I said,
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: I've made it when a childhood hero has professional compassion
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: for me. So I don't even care. I will not
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: take a bath anymore. I just want to go home
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: after the game. I'm tired.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: We got to get home due I'm tired.
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: I think if we did God here a day earlier
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: or a day ago would have been great. But yeah,
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: that's what's up.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: I have the Super Bowl tickets.
- 1:07:51Speaker 10: I met me.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: Ask you has a question? We have passes to go
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: to the pregame concert where post Malone is playing. I
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: guess nice and we can go to that.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Is this a situation where I only have four?
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: It was it was I only had two, But apparently
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: there's so many people that are asking me things. I
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: just say yes to everything smart and then all of
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: a sudden, I have extras because I've said yes to
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: what I think is the same thing. But it's multiple people,
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: so they were like, do you want to go to
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: the pregame tailgate with post Malone performing Get the Ticket Anywhere?
- 1:08:24Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: And I was like sure, and they asked me again.
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: I was like where they told me yes, I'll just
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: say yes again in case.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: So like reading Kevin.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: Both Joe with the packages of tickets, so I have
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: six of them now. Eddie and I went to the
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: Commissioner's dinner last night.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: Well that was something else that was different.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: That was different.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: That's where you.
- 1:08:41Speaker 8: Walk in and you're like, oh wow, this is something
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: I've never seen before, Like this is a lot of money.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: And not a lot of money.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: I probably would have been the poorest person in the room,
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: but Eddie was there. So the owners had their own
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: like booths with their team logo on it, and it
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: like circled the stage and it was like each of
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: the owners of their own booth.
- 1:09:03Speaker 8: And no one was at the Cowboys booth Mike, so
- 1:09:04Speaker 8: I told bones, let's just sit there until they kick
- 1:09:07Speaker 8: us out.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: But we didn't.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: We didn't know anybody, and so we walked over with
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: Matt Castle, who I.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: Do my other show with.
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: And I don't like to be the tagle because that's
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: like his group, but he was like, I've never been
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: to this, so I don't know what to do. And
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: I was like, we'll just go together and eventually one
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: of us will find comfort and the other person can
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: get his hang out, and then if anybody wants to bail,
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: just bail. It's kind of our rule. Well, he found
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: comfort immediately because with like all the ballplayers. So we
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: walk up immediately and I spot Belichick.
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: And I see Matt.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: Matt Andaddy were sitting over there, and I said, hey,
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: Belichick's over here, and he's like, ohky cool. So it
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: comes over and talks to Belichick and I'm just standing
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: in this place and the circle like collapsed in front
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: of me, where I wasn't standing in the circle anymore.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: So I was just like on the outside.
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: Of the circle, but you're hanging hanging, so like I
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: was looking over the shoulder end of the circle, and
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: I was like, you know what, I'm out of here.
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: So Eddie and I went walking through like a different area. Now.
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: I took no offense to it, because Matt was great
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: about it. Hey, this is pop.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: But people kept walking in and as soon as that
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: circle closed, I realized I wasn't cool enough. To be
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: in that circle. So we went into another section and
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: it just opened up bigger.
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: We thought it was like some like sex part.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: It was like a because it was a.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: Red tunnel wearing masks. That's what he said. Some guy
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: came out of it and and somebody said what's back there?
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: And he goes, well, that's for the v v I ps.
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: We thought he was serious.
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: What does a V stand for?
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: Eddie goes, this is like that Nicole the eyes white hut.
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: Immediately I knew what it was, and so we walked back.
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: But it just opens up and there's another jazz band
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: on stage and hall of famers everywhere. They have gold jackets.
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: The hilarious move would have been for me just to
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: wear a gold jacket. You just to say just the
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: same color.
- 1:10:53Speaker 15: Like the mother in law were in white. Yes.
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: The biggest person that I saw and you, I guess
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: you saw.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: Kevin whenever we were doing the daytime stuff. Andrew Whitworth
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: is huge monster.
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: He's like a basketball player, except a football player, like
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: as thick and big as an offensive lineman.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: But he's got to be six seven, yeah, six eight.
- 1:11:16Speaker 15: And like well proportioned a monster.
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: Oh do you look Tristan, which area.
- 1:11:22Speaker 15: Mostly bottom half. Got it, and then it made my
- 1:11:25Speaker 15: way up.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: Got it.
- 1:11:27Speaker 8: So when you do look at the sea of people,
- 1:11:30Speaker 8: he's his head is above everyone else.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: When you look at the sea of big people, Yeah,
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: his head was above everybody else. So at this point
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: we know nobody and so no one.
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: We're just walking through and there's I can't eat and
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: the stomach's bad, and.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: I think Eddie's eating a little bit. I wish I
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: could have like eating something.
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: And somebody comes up to me around the corner and
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: grabs me and hugs me, and I don't see well,
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: and so I just it's just a woman and she's like, oh,
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: so I just fake for a second like I know
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: who it is, and she pulls back and it ends
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: up being LeeAnne Tooey, who is.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: The blindside bullocks well not saying. And so I know
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: the Tuy's pretty well, and I know I know their
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: son really well. He's a close friend.
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: I mean he's as close as friend as you can
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: be without being like a main main close friend, Like
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: we talked two three times a week. And he's now
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: like one of the uh part of the administration at
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: Oral Roberts like he's eventually gonna be a big athletic director,
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: but he was at UCF. I met him at Arkansas
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: when he was a grad assistant. That's how I met him.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: On a golf cart, right, he picked me up and
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: then I didn't know he was the kid from the
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: freaking blind Side.
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: And then afterwards and was like, you know that kid
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: s J. And I was like the GA.
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: It's like, yeah, that's the Blindside kid, and I was
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: like the actor and they were like, no, the actual one.
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: I was like, oh, how about that? And so we
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: just stayed in touch. But we talked that for half
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: an hour.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we did awesome.
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: And not only that, and I would never reveal things
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: that I can't reveal. It was an awesome conversation because
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: they were giving us some dirt even on like.
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: Even on like coaching stuff. So it was good.
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: I like them anyway, and usually I would feel bad
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: that I'm keeping someone because I was like, if you
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: guys want to go back, get back to your other.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: Rich people, you should nobody like you. Like we talked forever, dude,
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: I was in all the dirt on coaches, athletic directors NFL.
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: It was awesome, nice, because he Jay's dad called the Griz.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: He was the announcer.
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: Yeah, play by play guy from Memphis.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Yeah, really right?
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: He was not maybe color now he had to be
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: play by play or announcer one of the things. I
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: think it's their TV color guy. One time though, I said, Hey,
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: who's your favorite color guy? And I said, my favorite
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: color guy is Frank Thomas and I think it was
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: Ryan Hurd. Yeah, And it was like, what you can't
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: say that?
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: I said color analysts should rank him.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Yes, I was.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: Shocked. I did not know what he was talking about.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: I was like, Frank Tomas was my favorite color guy,
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: said I didn't think. And Ryan's like, and I mean, like,
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: what are you talking about? And it only took for
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: him to go to I was like, oh no, no, no, not.
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: Color Commentary. So I kind of felt bad because I
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: had passes last night to go to.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: Travis Scott.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: No, well, I had those. I didn't want to go
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: Travis Scott. I don't care about Traviscott. I don't even
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: know a song.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: No, I don't know it. Yeah, hey we know those.
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: But we had Blake wanted to Megan Stallion, we could
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: have gone to that.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: I love Megan Stallion, dude.
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: But I did say Eddie and I's name.
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: Eddie and I's name were on the list, so I
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: sent it to Eddie and I was like, your name's
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: on you can go by yourself. I don't and I
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: guess you didn't go.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: We didn't go.
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: Now there's no you can't take anybody.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: Well, that's probably why I was going to be Bobby.
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: Interesting, because I bet you get so crowded. They wouldn't
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: check an ID.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: Yes could.
- 1:15:12Speaker 15: Yeah, they were probably pretty lax.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: Yeah what hmmm, probably, but it was vip entrance.
- 1:15:18Speaker 15: It was worth a shot.
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: I don't know, man, I would have been my aready
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: for taking the shot.
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: Were yeah, we're going to but I think by the
- 1:15:24Speaker 6: time we met up it was only like an hour left,
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: and we're like, you know what.
- 1:15:26Speaker 8: By the time we get there, won't even Honestly, the
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: way to get into all these things is pretty legit,
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: Like they just scan your face and Okay, there you are,
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: Eddie Garcia, You're good to go. Like, I don't think
- 1:15:36Speaker 8: you can fake anything really, Like if it scanned chemist's
- 1:15:38Speaker 8: face is like, you are not Bobby Bones, get out
- 1:15:40Speaker 8: of here.
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess it's extra secure. I tell you, if
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: this were like a normal Thursday night or Friday night
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: and I were walking in some of the places in
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: New Orleans. I was walking last night and it wasn't
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: Super Bowl weekend, I would not feel safe. Yeah, but
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: it's feels so safe here now.
- 1:15:56Speaker 9: This place is yeah, lougged down.
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: It is.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: There's a national was hard everywhere everywhere?
- 1:16:06Speaker 8: Did were you woken up by marching band this morning? Okay,
- 1:16:10Speaker 8: there's a parade going right by our hotel.
- 1:16:12Speaker 16: Really, they do that every morning in New Orleans.
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: And then I remember no rooster, just brass band, the.
- 1:16:20Speaker 15: Second line brass.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Remember there in the street the band go.
- 1:16:24Speaker 8: And then I was like, all right, let me try
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: to go back to sleep, and I did, and I
- 1:16:27Speaker 8: fell back to sleep, and I woke up and like, hey, Kevin,
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: I think they're done. And then as soon as I
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: said that, I heard the MC go we're just getting started.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Alright, that happened to you.
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: I did not have its rooster. How far are you
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: guys from this hotel?
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: Two blocks?
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: So we left. I felt bad. I told it as
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: a dump stuf. Sorry, I just don't feel good. I
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: was feeling worse than I was going and he was like,
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: all good, all good. So we got way dressed up,
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: did the thing. We don't really know anybody that. I
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: don't know if anything happened last night. It was a
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: very I probably shouldn't have been invited. Not that I
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: showed up and was improper, but I everybody there was
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: like a.
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: Player, an owner, like some kind of exact old and rich.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: I mean it was from a GM.
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: It was that kind of crowd where you look around
- 1:17:21Speaker 4: and you go, dude, which one does belongs?
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, so we met the medical We met the medical doctor.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: The head of NFL Medical who lives by us in Nashville.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: Because his wife comes up to me.
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: He goes, I'm a huge fan, and I was like,
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: thank you for just talking to me because nobody was
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: talking about Yes, that was exactly what it was. She
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: was like, I'm sorry, I'm talking your ear off. I'm like,
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: I just want to talk to somebody like they please
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: stay with us. But she's like, yeah, my husband was up.
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: She said, my husband, uh works at Vandy and has
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: been ahead of a bunch of sports teams and is
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: now head of Medical c CMO of the.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: NFL Chief Medical Officer.
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: Thank you, Edie.
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: Thank you, sir, you got it.
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: And so he's in New York a lot at the office,
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: but they could live in Nashville. When we talked to
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: them for probably fifteen minutes or so, and we're walking
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: out and I saw Jared Allen, who was a monster
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: and I hadn't met him, probably like a month ago,
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: when he came over to the house to do the
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: other show.
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: Huge personality, had a cowboy hat on.
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: Yes, and he got and so when he came over
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: and did lots to say, I didn't know how sensitive
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: the Hall of Fame was to him. And I started
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: the interview with dude des suction on the Hall of
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: Fame like I didn't know. Ooh, I'm glad I didn't know,
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: because I wouldn't have got the good stuff. And I
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: think at times, like I know artists so well in Nashville,
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: there are places that I won't go because I'm sensitive
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: to knowing them. Like I wouldn't ask Still about his
- 1:18:58Speaker 4: recent circumcision because I know that's still sensitive to him,
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: and it's actually sensitive physically, yes, but I'm like literally.
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, I started the interview in a very physical sense.
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: It sucks, you know, on the Hall of Fame and
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: he went off like twenty minutes. And so he got
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: in that night before, and so I went up and
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: I was like, I don't want to bother him.
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: I was like, dude, I'm so happy. And him and
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: his wife are around and we talked for like ten minutes.
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: He's huge. And then I was like, do you see
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: drones over your house? That was literally what I was saying.
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: Oh no, dude, because they live right by me.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: They say yes.
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: She said that she didn't know there were drones. She
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: was I got that.
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: And then we had some other we worked through theories,
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: but I was super happy he got in the Hall
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: of Fame.
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: And then we walked back and I went to bed.
- 1:19:44Speaker 8: How does real quick about the Hall of Fame thing? Like,
- 1:19:46Speaker 8: how does that work? Like you know you're eventually going
- 1:19:48Speaker 8: to get in?
- 1:19:49Speaker 9: No.
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: So the crazy thing was Vinitary did not get in.
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: Everyone expected Vinitary. Kevin's crying. You mentioned a freaking Patriot.
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: He starts crying.
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: You know, did you know Chalty's up next year?
- 1:19:59Speaker 15: I yeah, they'll make it.
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: No, I don't year one anyway?
- 1:20:05Speaker 15: Yeah no, I mean they got to kickers got to
- 1:20:07Speaker 15: pay their dues.
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: I think I was surprised that Venitary didn't make it.
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: Year one.
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: I was mediumly surprised that Eli didn't make it for
- 1:20:16Speaker 4: a couple of reasons. One, he's got two super Bowl MVPs,
- 1:20:19Speaker 4: two super Bowl championships, top ten passing al too.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: You know he's got and he has the Manning name.
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: But take it away, he's still got two super Bowl
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: and two super Bowl MVPs.
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: So I was surprised he didn't get in.
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: Not nearest surprises that Venitary didn't get it, because I
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: thought that was an automatic. They only let four people in.
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: It was a very small class. Yeah, that's it's the
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: hardest to get in. And I believe is it a
- 1:20:45Speaker 4: percentage of the voters has you have to be a
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: percentage up?
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: Is what it is.
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: And they used to show up and let you know
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: in a certain way. But I don't think Jared would
- 1:20:59Speaker 4: care that I say this, Like they let Jared know
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: like a week ago. Everybody got to know like a
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: week ago, but they couldn't say anything and told the
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: announce of it and he and you know, so who
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: I think one of his old teammates or something showed
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: up and to his house and was like, you're in
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: the Hall of Fame and it was big.
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: I think his kid was there.
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: He has a ten year old, and because his kid
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: saw it, he said, my kid had to sign an NDA.
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: My ten year old did sure?
- 1:21:20Speaker 16: Wait wait a minute, the your ten year old had
- 1:21:23Speaker 16: to sign in NDIA. But we just told a story
- 1:21:25Speaker 16: on the podcast.
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: I get.
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: No, it was you can't say it before it comes.
- 1:21:29Speaker 9: Out, before it comes out.
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: Yeah, we got just a surprise. Yeah, now it's fine.
- 1:21:33Speaker 15: Actually here's this NDA.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: I didn't sign anything.
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: Now it's fine. Now it's fine. So we talked to
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: him and then we walked back to the room and
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: I went to bed. And then I saw Emmitt Smith
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: dancing on Mike D's nice Instagram story and it was
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: so close. I thought Mike D was dancing.
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: With Emmett for a second until he did the finger
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: zoom out. He just assumed way and I thought Mike
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: D was dancing with Emmitt Smith.
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: That post line? So who went to post? Malone?
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: You? Yeah?
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: You did? Uh retake a microphone? Do you guys go together?
- 1:22:09Speaker 17: Uh? No, I didn't even know Matt was there, to
- 1:22:11Speaker 17: be honest, we.
- 1:22:12Speaker 9: Met in the casino afterwards.
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: So how did you get in? I just had a
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: good friend that had a ticket or were you on
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: the list yourself? Yeah, I don't know how people get on.
- 1:22:20Speaker 9: List that it was through book an agent.
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: It was like, I'll probably say similar to mine then
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: because you t put me on that kind of crap. Mean,
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: but yeah you changed dang.
- 1:22:30Speaker 16: Yeah, only because my my agent left U t A
- 1:22:34Speaker 16: in the business all together.
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: But yeah, shouting druma shout out to me for hooking
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: it up.
- 1:22:39Speaker 9: Doug Neff, thank you.
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: We were on this. We were I left c A.
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: We had U t A only because Matt was over
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: there and then Matt leaves.
- 1:22:47Speaker 15: I just found out, Oh man, I'm gonna you just
- 1:22:49Speaker 15: signed that NDA.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: Dang it? How read? What was the party?
- 1:22:53Speaker 14: Like?
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: Who were you with?
- 1:22:53Speaker 17: So I was with Mike d We actually went and
- 1:22:55Speaker 17: showed up and we're like, okay, I think I really
- 1:22:58Speaker 17: had to go to the bathrooms.
- 1:22:58Speaker 5: We're like, we'll just wait.
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: So you tickets. You weren't like on a VIP list,
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: So this is okay, good. So this would have been
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: the difference in you guy, Eddie, you going to that
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: party last night?
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: Going on it back way? What was it like to
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: get into this thing?
- 1:23:10Speaker 15: It was absolutely terrible.
- 1:23:13Speaker 17: We were in a line that was legitimately half a
- 1:23:16Speaker 17: mile long around. We could have just we walked up
- 1:23:19Speaker 17: to the entrance and he was like, yeah, the QR
- 1:23:21Speaker 17: code line is right here.
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: We're like, oh, all right, that's cool, so we walked.
- 1:23:24Speaker 9: We could have literally just.
- 1:23:25Speaker 17: Turned around and then got in line, and then we
- 1:23:28Speaker 17: would have a ticket around badge or was it just
- 1:23:31Speaker 17: a QR code ticket you scan on your oh and
- 1:23:33Speaker 17: you forget, I gotta go it. Yeah, but it was
- 1:23:34Speaker 17: like three thousand people and.
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: How long until you got in?
- 1:23:38Speaker 17: It was a little over an hour?
- 1:23:41Speaker 16: Yeah, dude, See I would not have done that.
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: I would imagine Mike, you're a massive Postal Loan fan.
- 1:23:47Speaker 4: So was it worth the hour? Yeah? I didn't care
- 1:23:49Speaker 4: about waiting, but it did suck because we kept going
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: and they we were like, surely the line will in here.
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: No, all the way around. We made some friends in line.
- 1:23:55Speaker 9: It was fine.
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: It's like six flags and you get up to the front,
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: except when you turn the corner, it's not actually the front,
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: and it's the wrap around.
- 1:24:00Speaker 16: Where it's it's I walked up there when they were
- 1:24:04Speaker 16: first like queuing up on my way to supper, and
- 1:24:07Speaker 16: it looked like the worst morning you've ever.
- 1:24:11Speaker 9: Had at TSA. Oh yeah it.
- 1:24:14Speaker 16: Was because it's right there at the casino, So it
- 1:24:16Speaker 16: was just like what I saw.
- 1:24:17Speaker 9: It was just right. It was just like down the
- 1:24:19Speaker 9: block in a row.
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: Mister wm me, how did you get in differently than that?
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: Did you go to whatever? Like the drop off point was?
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: But like this is the drop off point going there?
- 1:24:33Speaker 9: They just had it. I was I was late. I
- 1:24:36Speaker 9: think he started at nine thirty. I didn't get there
- 1:24:38Speaker 9: like nine forty five.
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: That's so funny. He's like I got into different So
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: read how was the show?
- 1:24:44Speaker 7: Like this was really good?
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: Was it just him or somebody before him?
- 1:24:48Speaker 9: No, it was it was just him.
- 1:24:49Speaker 15: He brought out jelly roll. That was really cool.
- 1:24:51Speaker 17: To be honest, I only stayed for like twenty five
- 1:24:53Speaker 17: minutes because that was going to meet up with them.
- 1:24:54Speaker 9: In the casino.
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: You say by yourself, like yeah, and but it was
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: really good.
- 1:24:58Speaker 17: Like I ran into Young Gray on my way.
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: Out, as in you literally bumped him.
- 1:25:03Speaker 17: Yeah, Like I literally bumped him, Like I was on
- 1:25:05Speaker 17: my way out and there was nobody there, like where
- 1:25:07Speaker 17: the bar is and it was just him and some
- 1:25:09Speaker 17: girl that were walking in by himself.
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: He's like, what's up, gravy?
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: Do you say that like that?
- 1:25:14Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: Just in your head? Yeah? And little Dicky Mike, how long?
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: How long was the performance? Al And he play hit?
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: He played country stuff, hip hip hop stuff? Was that good?
- 1:25:25Speaker 9: Show?
- 1:25:26Speaker 16: Was that in the theater kind of? It was just standing.
- 1:25:30Speaker 16: It was like a standing theater. Then they had bleacher
- 1:25:32Speaker 16: seating on becoming both sides.
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: Was the sound appropriate for a concert?
- 1:25:37Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: It was.
- 1:25:37Speaker 9: Actually it was quiet. It was good sound.
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: So it wasn't like a quickly built together stage where
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: it sounds terrible.
- 1:25:43Speaker 9: No, no, and it was all there.
- 1:25:46Speaker 16: I did not notice a track, like everything was coming
- 1:25:50Speaker 16: off stage, like even even he had a couple of
- 1:25:52Speaker 16: background singers on there to sing kind of the like
- 1:25:54Speaker 16: trappy parts, but like Derek Wells was playing guitar, and.
- 1:25:57Speaker 9: Uh, what's the kid that wrote Channel? I had some help. Yeah,
- 1:26:01Speaker 9: I was playing steel for him. Ben was great. It
- 1:26:03Speaker 9: sounded really good.
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: Did you stay until that? You both stay to the end?
- 1:26:06Speaker 9: You stay the end. I left a little early. I left.
- 1:26:09Speaker 9: I left after maybe one song left though.
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: Was it hard to get out? That was fine.
- 1:26:15Speaker 9: It was hard for me to get out.
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: Because you too tangled up.
- 1:26:20Speaker 17: I mean, we already got deep in there, so then
- 1:26:21Speaker 17: trying to get out. Man, it's like you're squeezing through people.
- 1:26:25Speaker 4: Okay, here's a question. Don't go to a break or
- 1:26:28Speaker 4: kind of just keep going. Okay, hypothetical question, and I'll
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: ask it to read. You can give Eddie the microphone
- 1:26:35Speaker 4: back now, thank you, thank you read.
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: We're limited microphone.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: Hypothetical question.
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: If somebody calls you today and says, I got you
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: one thousand dollars I'm going to give you in one hour,
- 1:26:47Speaker 4: sounds pretty cool. Huh yeah for nothing. I have a
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: thousand dollars I'm going to give you in an hour.
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: What's catch? No catch?
- 1:26:54Speaker 4: You just get it and there is no catch. There's
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: one thousand dollars, you get it and fifteen hour, minutes
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: and fifty nine seconds and I'll be right over there
- 1:27:02Speaker 4: to give it to you.
- 1:27:02Speaker 3: You kind of get excited.
- 1:27:04Speaker 15: Yeah, right, I'm getting excited, right, Yeah.
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: Like yeah, Let's say the person shows up in fifty
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: nine minutes of nine seconds, knocks on the door, and then.
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: Goes, oh, crap, I messed up. Here's a one hundred dollars.
- 1:27:17Speaker 8: No, no, I feel like this is an analogy expected value.
- 1:27:22Speaker 15: This is so parable. I don't like where this is going.
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: What happens?
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: So are you a grateful for the hundred dollars that
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: you didn't have before the day started anyway, because you
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: didn't have one hundred dollars before fifty nine minutes and
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: fifty nine seconds ago, nor the thought of an extra
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: hundred dollars, But because someone said, hey I got a
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: thousand dollars, that hundred hits a bit different. Are you
- 1:27:50Speaker 4: a more excited you got a free hundred or more
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: upset that you didn't get the thousand?
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: Be extremely upset that I didn't get the hundred thousand.
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: There's no one hundred thousands in my mind, zeros over here.
- 1:28:07Speaker 8: It's very disappointing that I didn't get a thousand, Like
- 1:28:09Speaker 8: you get me a hundred dollars? Like why do you
- 1:28:10Speaker 8: even tell me there was a thousand in there? Keep
- 1:28:12Speaker 8: the hundred get out of my face.
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: So your disappointment, yes, because even though there was no
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: hundred dollars, Yeah, you.
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: Told me you were gonna be hearing anap fifty nine seconds.
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: And say hey, I got three hundred bucks for you.
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: Would you like that? That's different? A great day one
- 1:28:28Speaker 3: hundred thousand. I think that's it all off, though, because
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: you like really were exactly like, wow, it's a lot
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: of money. Okay, take a breath, Kevin, your thoughts.
- 1:28:36Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm with Eddie. This is like another form of
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: blue balls. Basically, like you think you're getting something and
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: then it's only one hundred bucks.
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: So you're getting more than you ever thought you were.
- 1:28:44Speaker 6: Yeah, but you're when you're when your mindset is like
- 1:28:48Speaker 6: I'm getting this, and this is what you get. You're
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: grateful maybe after the fact, but initially you're like, man,
- 1:28:54Speaker 6: I was ready, and.
- 1:28:55Speaker 8: You're never grateful that you got one hundred dollars because
- 1:28:58Speaker 8: you're supposed to get a thousand.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: But I would be grateful, but.
- 1:29:01Speaker 15: It just might take some time though, Matt. I don't know.
- 1:29:05Speaker 16: I think I might disagree. Like I would be like, oh, okay,
- 1:29:09Speaker 16: you know, yes, would I rather have one thousand dollars? Yes,
- 1:29:13Speaker 16: however one hundred dollars it's okay too.
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: I think I would be that way as well. It
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: would take just a split second of reframing my mind.
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: It's like, oh, I want to get a thousand, Oh
- 1:29:23Speaker 4: oh it's only a hundred. Well, I guess I was
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: never even getting a hundred, so it's gonna be awesome.
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: So anyway, there's no reason I told that story.
- 1:29:29Speaker 16: No, oh my god, I thought I was about to
- 1:29:32Speaker 16: get my super Bowl ticket.
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: Right now, here's the thing you all are. But anyway,
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: so what made you think of that? Now I'm about
- 1:29:40Speaker 4: to tell you the real story as to why I
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: thought of it. So I've been tracking down trying to
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: find Kevin's ticket which to get into like the standing
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: roomish places, it's like three thousand dollars if you want
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: a ticket ticket it's like thirty to four thousand and five.
- 1:29:58Speaker 4: I got to find him a ticket whatever going through this.
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: He even was so kind to sent me a bunch
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: of links to get him tickets.
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: That was hilarious. He was like, like, here you go.
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: They really it's just like listening. He was like, here's
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: step up, here's like I know the places in case.
- 1:30:14Speaker 16: I just figured you would be alone with your thoughts
- 1:30:17Speaker 16: and your phone a lot. Yes, you don't want to
- 1:30:20Speaker 16: quit playing candy Crush or let me streamline it for
- 1:30:22Speaker 16: you a little bit.
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: So they sent me a whole page of links, just
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: Apple page. So I have all the tickets by the way,
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: so that nobody's not getting a ticket.
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: Yes, the new development is because I did NFL Honors,
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: which this wasn't my understanding. They gave me two tickets
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: for doing honors. It was one of those things like
- 1:30:46Speaker 4: these these tailgate passes where I just said yes to
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: everything and didn't know I was getting multiple tickets. So
- 1:30:51Speaker 4: I have six tickets. Now, whoa, whoa, Well.
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: There are six of us, so it works. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: Eddie's looking to bring somebody out.
- 1:31:00Speaker 16: But my calculations appropriate amount of tickets for you.
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: But it means that, but it means i'd like Matt,
- 1:31:07Speaker 4: Matt's going down Kevins go to spend money on the ticket.
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: I have six.
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: However, I hit.
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: You with the analogy. I'm about to get to the analogy,
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: but go ahead.
- 1:31:17Speaker 8: Because you did NFL Honors, which is a very exclusive.
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: Uh like to do it on the show on telegray.
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: Job a plus job up there. Got these seats.
- 1:31:28Speaker 5: Awesome.
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: So here's the thing. Here's the thing.
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: No, okay, okay, So the six tickets that I got,
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: the four that I knew I was getting, which was
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: the four that we have been fighting over. Uh, they
- 1:31:44Speaker 4: were like they're gonna be great seats and down in
- 1:31:47Speaker 4: the lower bowl there like it might be down the
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: corner or it'll be in the lower bowl.
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: They don't have the lower bowl. They're like top of
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: the stadium. Oh oh yeah, So.
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: They did the thousand dollars things they did.
- 1:31:56Speaker 4: Go, Now, if you were gonna looked at it, you
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: gonna buy them online. It's thirty two hundred dollars a ticket. Right,
- 1:32:02Speaker 4: it's still in in this dome. I'm not I've not
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: eve been in this dome.
- 1:32:04Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:32:04Speaker 16: I was here for the Sugar Bowl when we were
- 1:32:06Speaker 16: played a house state here actually Mallet.
- 1:32:09Speaker 3: Yeah, we lost that game, right, yeah, but.
- 1:32:10Speaker 9: They had to vacate it. So I not won the table.
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: We don't get that. We don't get to win on
- 1:32:14Speaker 3: that though.
- 1:32:14Speaker 9: No, that's true.
- 1:32:15Speaker 16: But I did get to come to New Orleans and
- 1:32:16Speaker 16: be absolutely idiots.
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: And the same the same stadium though, right, this one
- 1:32:20Speaker 4: kind of does it kind of sit taller, and yeah,
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: it's great and there's no such Listen, when someone goes
- 1:32:25Speaker 4: there's not a bad seat in the house, they're lying
- 1:32:27Speaker 4: because it no matter what the house is, there are
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: seats that are Yeah, but they were acting like this
- 1:32:31Speaker 4: dome's a little different where it's not as bad up.
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: So for the tickets are the one hundred dollars, but
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: you guys didn't where the tickets were anyway.
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: No, no, you weren't even guarantee it.
- 1:32:41Speaker 15: You really could have kept that to yourself.
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: To me, it was one thousand dollars.
- 1:32:44Speaker 4: Yeah, and my and Jerry, who you guys know, My
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: agent was pissed. He was calling people today going these
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: tickets suck, and I'm like, dude, dude.
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: We're good.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: Yeah, like there's no need to fight for something that
- 1:32:57Speaker 3: we're in the door.
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: So the other two that from Honors, they're mid not
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: lowerble no, yeah, like three, like level three or whatever.
- 1:33:09Speaker 4: So we're four and two instead of being Kevin by himself,
- 1:33:15Speaker 4: Matt by himself and which is great. Yeah, so we
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: have to like pass out the tickets, but somebody can
- 1:33:24Speaker 4: go with me and set a little closer.
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: It's not a whole lot.
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: I'll do that. I'll talk about I didn't do that.
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: And then we have six of these tailgate passes which
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: kind of happened the same way, which is uh tailgate
- 1:33:37Speaker 3: super Dome one thirty to four pm.
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: That's a nice.
- 1:33:41Speaker 3: Private party, admits one. Yeah, it's a ticket.
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: Listen to it.
- 1:33:46Speaker 15: That things real buzzy. You whip your kids with it
- 1:33:49Speaker 15: with it?
- 1:33:50Speaker 4: Yeah, yep, So that's where that's where we are as
- 1:33:53Speaker 4: far as the super Bowl. Now, the beginning of the show,
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: we talked because what we're going to do is we
- 1:33:57Speaker 4: recorded all this and we were doing the post super
- 1:33:59Speaker 4: Bow at the very beginning of this, so you heard
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: everything that we haven't seen yet.
- 1:34:04Speaker 3: But that's the situation.
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: I want to get everybody their tickets individually tonight while
- 1:34:07Speaker 4: we're in the same room because the transferring is always
- 1:34:09Speaker 4: weird trying to transfer tickets, and then let me look
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: at my notes, say there's anything else.
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: I think I'm good.
- 1:34:19Speaker 4: We did become friends with Kurt Warner and his wife.
- 1:34:21Speaker 4: I mentioned that in the other part.
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: We talked a little bit about it.
- 1:34:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:34:24Speaker 15: Yeah, we saw my Starbucks this morning.
- 1:34:26Speaker 5: You did.
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: Yeah, that's cool.
- 1:34:28Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:34:28Speaker 6: He was waiting for his coffee along with other people,
- 1:34:30Speaker 6: and I was just like, cool, that's a cool story.
- 1:34:34Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: We met the Trophy last night.
- 1:34:38Speaker 3: We did meet the Trophy. He was really nice.
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: Yeah, we're very nice. Didn't talk a lot. You know.
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: Here's the thing.
- 1:34:43Speaker 4: The Lombardi for the Hunt the Lombardi is the main trophy. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:34:51Speaker 4: what's the hunt AFC is what it is? Yeah, okay,
- 1:34:54Speaker 4: So you could go up and take a picture beside
- 1:34:56Speaker 4: it and you couldn't touch it, and someone had to
- 1:34:58Speaker 4: take the picture for you. But the person that was
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: taking the picture was like a sixty two year old
- 1:35:02Speaker 4: white man who did not know how to take a picture.
- 1:35:05Speaker 16: He was operating iPhones. Yes, bro, that is just a misstake.
- 1:35:09Speaker 3: The picture I have of it, I didn't even want
- 1:35:12Speaker 3: to post it. I had to do Tokyo filter so
- 1:35:13Speaker 3: it looks halfway decent. Yeah, and that's like total gray,
- 1:35:18Speaker 3: so it's not good.
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: I haven't even looked at mine.
- 1:35:21Speaker 3: Oh no, Papa was running the digital the depatman.
- 1:35:25Speaker 15: That is just a bad fit. Yes, you know.
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: I think he was protecting it, but he was also
- 1:35:29Speaker 3: being photographer. Any other thoughts. We met Belichick's girls with him.
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: She's twenty four, like in person four.
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: She's very pretty good for coach.
- 1:35:39Speaker 16: That just goes to show you that if you try
- 1:35:40Speaker 16: hard and believe in yourself and you work very hard,
- 1:35:43Speaker 16: success can open up doors you never imagined. Because Bill
- 1:35:47Speaker 16: Belichick could not take that picture. Right now, he is
- 1:35:50Speaker 16: dating someone that could take the picture.
- 1:35:54Speaker 4: Did you see the picture they took with all the rings?
- 1:35:57Speaker 4: He had all his rings on I think in maybe
- 1:35:59Speaker 4: seven or eight, because he has also the when he
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: was coordinator Super Bowl rings and she had her championship
- 1:36:04Speaker 4: ring on, but it was from cheerleading in college.
- 1:36:06Speaker 3: She was like, we all have a championship rings. She
- 1:36:07Speaker 3: won a national championship. I thought that's pretty cool, that's cool.
- 1:36:14Speaker 3: We saw Davis No no, no r I p L dude,
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: David's son, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mark and Mark. Yeah, the
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: banks Davis.
- 1:36:28Speaker 4: Yes, and it's exactly there's a trip. You see him
- 1:36:33Speaker 4: and you're like, oh, that's real.
- 1:36:34Speaker 2: That's that's real. Yeah, And they're cut perfectly.
- 1:36:37Speaker 3: It's he has this has to have a like a stylist.
- 1:36:41Speaker 3: He does it exactly how he wants, not even somebody
- 1:36:43Speaker 3: who accidentally did that, but who does it exactly like that?
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: So who that's Mark? Mike Mark, Mark Mark.
- 1:36:49Speaker 16: I want to know, Like when his house goes up
- 1:36:52Speaker 16: for sale and the zillow hits the market, I want
- 1:36:55Speaker 16: to see what does what that that tasted haircut manifests
- 1:36:59Speaker 16: itself into square footage, Like I want to.
- 1:37:01Speaker 4: See what looks like inside of all that, it feels like.
- 1:37:04Speaker 15: A golden lion fountain as.
- 1:37:06Speaker 16: You walk in, you know, I feel like there would
- 1:37:09Speaker 16: be some like Doctor Phil, remember Doctor Phil's house. No,
- 1:37:13Speaker 16: it was wild, like like Alice in Wonderland.
- 1:37:18Speaker 9: It was like the Zillow listing or whatever.
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: We went.
- 1:37:22Speaker 3: To the he's a minority owner of the Steelers.
- 1:37:27Speaker 16: He bro you're on a you're gonna get canceled with
- 1:37:30Speaker 16: this minority this and color that fair enough?
- 1:37:34Speaker 15: Can we clean it up?
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: He's a part owner.
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: Let's just say he's he The Steelers have a majority
- 1:37:41Speaker 4: owner and I think he's the second owner. So it's
- 1:37:43Speaker 4: a minority owner of the Steeler.
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: So we went to his to his house and he
- 1:37:47Speaker 4: lives on one of his houses. Yeah, he has two hours,
- 1:37:51Speaker 4: so he lives on Disney in Disneyland. So there's a
- 1:37:55Speaker 4: neighborhood in Disneyland and each house millions millions millions and
- 1:38:00Speaker 4: bought two of them upside each other.
- 1:38:01Speaker 3: And you go into one of the houses. We took pictures.
- 1:38:04Speaker 4: I can say this only Jared Allenson and I signed
- 1:38:07Speaker 4: NDA's and we're done with that. At this point, he
- 1:38:11Speaker 4: has the ride in his house that's at Disney The
- 1:38:14Speaker 4: Haunted Mansion. The Haunted Mansion. You can get in it
- 1:38:16Speaker 4: and it's like the elevator, eh, the ride.
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: He has, the one where the room closes in on you, and.
- 1:38:21Speaker 15: Yeah, I'm out on that, but that's awesome that he has.
- 1:38:24Speaker 4: Every room is seemed a different you can go into,
- 1:38:28Speaker 4: like the Lion King.
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: The Toy Story Room, Star Wars.
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: Of them things opened, the bedrooms crazy amazing. It's unlike
- 1:38:36Speaker 4: anything I've ever seen, like literally a house, but it's
- 1:38:39Speaker 4: like their second house next to their other house. And
- 1:38:41Speaker 4: I would bet each house is worth ten million dollars.
- 1:38:44Speaker 4: And that's the party house. And we went in Eddie
- 1:38:47Speaker 4: Saws and Pappy van Wik went right at it. I've
- 1:38:49Speaker 4: never seen it before and he was like, I'm getting it.
- 1:38:51Speaker 4: Started drinking in out of the red Solo cup.
- 1:38:55Speaker 16: See, I feel like that's an allegory for our lives. Yes,
- 1:38:58Speaker 16: you know, we'll go high low on. We have a
- 1:39:02Speaker 16: taste for the final things. But we hadn't forget where
- 1:39:04Speaker 16: we come from.
- 1:39:04Speaker 4: That's right, That's why I did not complain about my
- 1:39:07Speaker 4: breasted tub.
- 1:39:09Speaker 3: So, okay, we're done.
- 1:39:11Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to this podcast.

- 1:39:31Speaker 3: It's nice, just knows the fight.
- 1:39:35Speaker 8: But everything's fried, Like even like a salad that I
- 1:39:37Speaker 8: got a sally that is fry every ding.
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like everything I've gotten. I'm like, that
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: looks kind of healthy. Oh it's frid okay, got it?
- 1:39:45Speaker 3: Wow?
- 1:39:46Speaker 2: Yeah, that's just how they do it here, man.
- 1:39:47Speaker 3: So I love the people.
- 1:39:48Speaker 4: I met a lot of listeners here that are actual locals,
- 1:39:51Speaker 4: mostly that are working, so go places.
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: Andy'd be like, what a cops cops? A couple of
- 1:39:57Speaker 3: cops here, A couple of cops. So I love that.
- 1:39:59Speaker 4: But the city makes me not feel good. Yeah, so
- 1:40:03Speaker 4: it's not my favorite when it comes to that.
- 1:40:05Speaker 3: I love it though.
- 1:40:07Speaker 15: I'm just like a pig and ship over here. I
- 1:40:09Speaker 15: love the city.
