- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to Hawk Talk with former Seahawks wide receiver
- 0:04Speaker 1: Michael Bumpus, powered by Seahawks dot Com. Now here's your host,
- 0:09Speaker 1: that's a Chope. Welcome into another edition of Hawk Talk.
- 0:13Speaker 1: The Seahawks coming off of one of the greatest games
- 0:15Speaker 1: I've seen in my entire life, beating the Rams last
- 0:17Speaker 1: Thursday night, thirty eight to thirty seven. We're gonna break
- 0:20Speaker 1: down what we saw. Bump. Of course last Thursday night,
- 0:23Speaker 1: you know, schedules were where they were. We're here talking
- 0:25Speaker 1: about the game. We're gonna preview the Panthers game just
- 0:27Speaker 1: a little bit, Bump, But again, that game was absolutely insane.
- 0:32Speaker 1: The Seahawks big win on Thursday Night football, Seahawks trail
- 0:35Speaker 1: by sixteen points in the fourth quarter. Before Thursday night,
- 0:37Speaker 1: they were zero in one hundred and seventy two. When
- 0:40Speaker 1: trailing by fifteen plus points in the fourth quarter, Bump,
- 0:43Speaker 1: I don't even know where to start.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Man.
- 0:44Speaker 1: That game was insane.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it was wild, man, it was. It was a thriller.
- 0:48Speaker 3: You got a bunch of emotions. You were up, you
- 0:50Speaker 3: were down. I thought we lost. At one point, I'm
- 0:52Speaker 3: walking around pacing and people had a camera on you
- 0:54Speaker 3: and I during overtime. Yeah, we was tripping a little bit.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Well rightfully so. I mean anyone who saw that AA
- 1:02Speaker 1: once they went down sixteen will get into it. The
- 1:04Speaker 1: second interception, it didn't look good for this team, but
- 1:06Speaker 1: they figured out a way. The Seahawks clinch a playoff
- 1:08Speaker 1: birth for the first time since two thousand and two,
- 1:10Speaker 1: are now in first place all by themselves in the
- 1:12Speaker 1: NFC West, as well as the number one seed currently
- 1:14Speaker 1: in the NFC. Hawks controlled their own destiny moving forward
- 1:17Speaker 1: and bump. Seahows won twelve games for just a sixth
- 1:20Speaker 1: time in franchise history.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Man and Mike McDonald's second year on the job, and
- 1:24Speaker 3: he's already doing I mean, if three of those teams
- 1:25Speaker 3: were a Super Bowl team, So maybe there's some fores
- 1:28Speaker 3: shadowing in this whole thing.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Man, No, I love it. I think the Seahawks are
- 1:31Speaker 1: just getting started. What's going on this season. We'll recap
- 1:34Speaker 1: Thursday night. We'll get into the Panthers just in a
- 1:35Speaker 1: little bit. Let's look back at the clock. What had happened,
- 1:39Speaker 1: See what had happened was what had happened at first,
- 1:42Speaker 1: was what had happened was on Hawk Talk we talked
- 1:46Speaker 1: about it. We've watched a lot of football in our life, Bump,
- 1:48Speaker 1: and I've never seen something like that. I mean, I
- 1:50Speaker 1: was there for the NFC Championship game, the comeback against
- 1:52Speaker 1: the Packers. Obviously that the stakes were bigger, but just
- 1:55Speaker 1: how this game went again, one of the best games
- 1:56Speaker 1: I've ever seen. We can't recap everything because we'll be
- 1:59Speaker 1: here forever. How crazy the game was. It took us
- 2:01Speaker 1: three hours into the wee hours of the night talking
- 2:03Speaker 1: about this game last Thursday. But game started, Hawks get
- 2:06Speaker 1: a turnover on downs, they go down sixty one yards,
- 2:09Speaker 1: ending with a four yard touchdowns Zach Charbonagy. That was
- 2:11Speaker 1: set up by a big forty six yard screen pass
- 2:13Speaker 1: by Ken Walker, which I love because the Seas haven't
- 2:15Speaker 1: done a lot of screen passes. Great way to start
- 2:18Speaker 1: that game. The Seahawks will go three down on the
- 2:20Speaker 1: next two drives and the Rams would score the next
- 2:22Speaker 1: thirteen points to take a thirteen to seven lead.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Yeah, thirteen to seven at the halftime, and the Hawks man,
- 2:27Speaker 3: they were driving to take the lead back. You get
- 2:29Speaker 3: the ball to Cooper cup or getting all excited boom.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Sometimes you just put the hat on the ball and
- 2:33Speaker 3: the pops out he fumbles that thing.
- 2:35Speaker 4: That hurt a little bit.
- 2:36Speaker 3: But on the opening drive of the third quarter of
- 2:37Speaker 3: the Hawks march down the field and Ken Walker man fifty.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Five yard touchdown.
- 2:41Speaker 3: That was great because you know, after I do the
- 2:43Speaker 3: halftime show, I make my lap around the stadium. I'm
- 2:46Speaker 3: making my lap around the stadium. And I didn't even
- 2:48Speaker 3: get to see it live like I saw it on
- 2:50Speaker 3: the TV. And I ran out the tunnel to try
- 2:53Speaker 3: to feel like the vibe of the crowd and aur
- 2:55Speaker 3: it was amazing. Man, I caught him right as he
- 2:56Speaker 3: crossed the end zone. That was good to see. But
- 2:59Speaker 3: the Rams would score the next seventeen boys, so that
- 3:02Speaker 3: made the score for fourteen and thirteen. And then the
- 3:03Speaker 3: Rams will score the next seventeen points and jump up
- 3:05Speaker 3: on the Seahawks thirty.
- 3:06Speaker 1: It's a fourteen and again the game is at that
- 3:09Speaker 1: point you're nervous. The Seahawks get the ball back, they
- 3:11Speaker 1: go down and you think, okay, maybe they'renna tie this
- 3:13Speaker 1: make this a one score game if they had a
- 3:14Speaker 1: couple two more versions. No, Sam Donald picked off in
- 3:17Speaker 1: the red zone with nine to forty eight left in
- 3:18Speaker 1: the fourth quarter. This moment I exited booth and my
- 3:21Speaker 1: let meus just to get ready for the postgame show
- 3:22Speaker 1: where I ran into you and we're sitting there looking
- 3:24Speaker 1: at it like, hey, the only thing you als need
- 3:26Speaker 1: to get back in this game is Forrasikiah Heed runs
- 3:28Speaker 1: it back for a touchdown, which is exactly what he did.
- 3:30Speaker 1: And we stayed put because that's how we are. Juju say,
- 3:32Speaker 1: We're watch us the game from right here and again.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Rashid Jaheed has been an unbelievable spark for this team,
- 3:38Speaker 1: the best pickup acquisition in the NFL. No one will
- 3:40Speaker 1: tell me otherwise what he's done for the team, making
- 3:42Speaker 1: immediate impact fifty eight yards of the house. Then Cooper
- 3:45Speaker 1: Cup he gets the two point versions, so now we're like, okay,
- 3:47Speaker 1: it's a one score game, so they'll get another two
- 3:49Speaker 1: point version, but they're right back in the game, yep.
- 3:51Speaker 3: And then the Hawks got another stop and two plays later,
- 3:53Speaker 3: Donald finds a J. Barn for a twenty six star touchdown,
- 3:56Speaker 3: and I was a scary one to it. If you
- 3:58Speaker 3: saw his route, AJ sold the heck bad rob man
- 4:01Speaker 3: post looked over his left shoulder, snapped it all safety
- 4:03Speaker 3: over the top, damn right over the top.
- 4:04Speaker 4: And he had to climb the ladder and go get
- 4:06Speaker 4: that thing. Man.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Then you go for the two point conversion. All right,
- 4:09Speaker 3: two point con version. I'm I'm questioning the play call.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, may I didn't like that play. But
- 4:13Speaker 3: then something happens in line up for kickoffs. Referee says,
- 4:16Speaker 3: hold up, we got a look at this. Sam Donald
- 4:18Speaker 3: threw the ball backwards. So he throws the ball backwards
- 4:20Speaker 3: to Zach Scharbon name, all right, it is tipped.
- 4:22Speaker 4: It's tipped forward. Zach Sharbone does what his coach.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Would do, walks over to the ball, picks it up,
- 4:27Speaker 3: and essentially scores a two point conversion.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Well, the cool thing about that bump, your coach, you
- 4:32Speaker 1: designed that play to be a backward passing on purpose.
- 4:34Speaker 4: YEP.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Usually doesn't play out the way it did because the interception.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But hey, the Seahawks tie the football game up the
- 4:40Speaker 1: Rams of missing field goal a bunch of punts to
- 4:42Speaker 1: end regulation. In overtime, Seahawks win the toss, Rams get
- 4:45Speaker 1: the ball, They go down eighty eight yard eighty plays
- 4:48Speaker 1: Jesus eight eighty yards. They score. Pooka Nakua. Holy smokes man,
- 4:55Speaker 1: he have a day He's a lot of things right now,
- 4:58Speaker 1: but on the field and twenty five yards, he was
- 5:00Speaker 1: absolutely uncoverable. The Seahawks are now down by a touchdown.
- 5:05Speaker 1: They gotta go down there and do the thing. Yep,
- 5:07Speaker 1: Donald he did it.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Take nine plays, sixty five yards with a four yard
- 5:11Speaker 3: touchdown to jay Is send in the back of the
- 5:13Speaker 3: end zone. Really knifed it in there. And then you
- 5:15Speaker 3: gotta go for two. You're not going for the tie.
- 5:16Speaker 3: The tide is absolutely nothing for you, so you go
- 5:18Speaker 3: for two. We're gonna break this play down. He finds
- 5:21Speaker 3: Eric Sobert his fourth read to win the ball game
- 5:24Speaker 3: and walk off two point conversion. Thirty eight thirty seven.
- 5:27Speaker 3: The good guys win on Thursday Night Football.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And it was pandemonium. Obviously, we're going nuts. We're scaring
- 5:31Speaker 1: the staff that's working by our postgame show set. You're
- 5:33Speaker 1: watching a j Barner. He's in the stands. Jason immediately touchdown,
- 5:37Speaker 1: he's in the stands too. It was a great moment,
- 5:38Speaker 1: a great feeling on Thursday Night Football. All the eyeballs
- 5:40Speaker 1: on the set, which was great. This defense, they really
- 5:42Speaker 1: struggled at times during that game, but they got big
- 5:44Speaker 1: stops in the fourth quarter and bump. I said this
- 5:47Speaker 1: early in the season when the Seahawks lost to the
- 5:49Speaker 1: forty nine ers, I looked the rest of the schedule.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I'm like, this team is really good. I don't think
- 5:52Speaker 1: they're gonna lose again at home. They did end up
- 5:54Speaker 1: losing again to the Tampa Bay Bucks. They weren't super
- 5:55Speaker 1: healthy that week, but they haven't lost since six to
- 5:57Speaker 1: two home record, which is amazing because they were three
- 5:59Speaker 1: in six at home last season, so a huge jump.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it was great. And what did I learn. I
- 6:04Speaker 3: learned that Sam Donald has it in him. He's got
- 6:08Speaker 3: it in him. And the more social media I look at,
- 6:11Speaker 3: you get all these angles and stuff. Right, I've watched
- 6:13Speaker 3: every angle that is out there. When it comes to
- 6:15Speaker 3: that last drive in that final play, and just the
- 6:18Speaker 3: demeanor of Sam Donald, it was calm. He was poised,
- 6:20Speaker 3: and I think that's what a lot of people wanted
- 6:22Speaker 3: to see because he hasn't won the big one. So
- 6:25Speaker 3: now he got that monkey off your back. All right,
- 6:27Speaker 3: you can win the big game to do this poise.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Now.
- 6:29Speaker 1: What I love about Sam too is I think I
- 6:31Speaker 1: heard this from Brady Henderson this morning and he's just
- 6:33Speaker 1: talking about, well, Sam hasn't been in a ton of
- 6:36Speaker 1: those games. People are basically all of that off of
- 6:38Speaker 1: two games last year. Really, that's what we're talking about.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So see Sam come through in that moment on that
- 6:42Speaker 1: stage against that team was amazing to see. And I
- 6:45Speaker 1: learned that again this team just has grit and will.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I mean, it doesn't matter when you're down sixteen. You
- 6:49Speaker 1: watch Sam his poise. He never was up. He's never
- 6:52Speaker 1: too high, he's never too low poise. The rest of
- 6:54Speaker 1: the team believe that he saw shakeet he scores that touchdown,
- 6:57Speaker 1: does the celebrate rus right back to the sideline. This
- 6:58Speaker 1: whole team together. It just feels like something special is
- 7:01Speaker 1: ruined in Seattle. And there were so many people making
- 7:03Speaker 1: plays all over the field. Touchdown playmakers told him what time.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Holy the man we're just talking about. Sam Donald twenty
- 7:17Speaker 1: two of thirty four two hundred and seventy yards, two touchdowns,
- 7:19Speaker 1: two interceptions, But he did have the ninth game winning
- 7:21Speaker 1: drive in the fourth quarter overtime since twenty twenty four
- 7:24Speaker 1: s and most of the NFL. On that final drive,
- 7:26Speaker 1: Sam Donald went five of six or forty nine yards
- 7:28Speaker 1: and a touchdown to Jackson Smith and Jigba connected with
- 7:31Speaker 1: Eric Saubert for the game winning two point conversion. We
- 7:33Speaker 1: just talked about it. Sam Donald's a dog. There was
- 7:36Speaker 1: a reason that went out there and got him, and
- 7:37Speaker 1: I love what he's proven on this stage. That last
- 7:39Speaker 1: year was in a fluke. This is who he is.
- 7:41Speaker 1: He finally got the show it in a big moment,
- 7:43Speaker 1: and that's not the last we're gonna see from Sam
- 7:44Speaker 1: Donald this year.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Now he's just getting rolling.
- 7:46Speaker 3: And this man got rolling in the second half first
- 7:49Speaker 3: hilfh one target, no receptions. We're talking about Jackson Smith
- 7:52Speaker 3: and Jig, but he ends a day with eight receptions,
- 7:54Speaker 3: ninety six yards, one touchdown. He became the six NFL
- 7:57Speaker 3: player to record one hundred receptions in a thousand yards
- 8:00Speaker 3: in his first two of three seasons. He broke his
- 8:02Speaker 3: own in Tyler Locke's reception record in franchise history with
- 8:04Speaker 3: one hundred and four receptions, became the fourth player twenty
- 8:07Speaker 3: three years old or younger with at least fifteen hundred
- 8:10Speaker 3: receiving yards and ten touchdowns ten touchdown receptions in the season,
- 8:13Speaker 3: and became the fourth player in NFL history with at
- 8:15Speaker 3: least ninety yards in thirteen games in a single season.
- 8:19Speaker 4: It started off slow.
- 8:20Speaker 3: I'm thinking, all right, man, the Rams have a plan
- 8:23Speaker 3: for Jsn, how are you going to adjust in the
- 8:25Speaker 3: second half.
- 8:26Speaker 1: They found ways to get him the ball exactly, and
- 8:28Speaker 1: we're gonna get into that when we break down a
- 8:29Speaker 1: couple of players. But there's creative with Jasn especially which
- 8:32Speaker 1: I love, evolution to this offense, and he's done it
- 8:34Speaker 1: each and every week. If he has a bad half,
- 8:36Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. We've seen this script plubly three or
- 8:38Speaker 1: four times where he didn't do a lot in the
- 8:39Speaker 1: first half, comes back, dominate's level seen at him. Ben
- 8:42Speaker 1: rashichahied we mentioned it. He had one carry thirty one yards. Obviously,
- 8:45Speaker 1: he had the big fifty eight yard punt return touchdown
- 8:47Speaker 1: that jump started things his fourth career return touchdown, two
- 8:50Speaker 1: of them in the last three weeks. This dude is
- 8:52Speaker 1: on fire. Worth every single penny. I love what we're
- 8:55Speaker 1: getting for him, and he's just a spark. So every
- 8:58Speaker 1: play the seahows around the field. You have someone who
- 9:00Speaker 1: can make a crazy game difference, break the game wide open.
- 9:02Speaker 1: So level ro team from him.
- 9:03Speaker 3: It's been a while since I've seen a returner in
- 9:06Speaker 3: the Hawks uniform with that type of big play ability man.
- 9:09Speaker 3: So yes, when twenty two gets it, y'all better watch out.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Ken Walker had his first one hundred yard rushing game
- 9:15Speaker 3: since what Week two the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 9:17Speaker 4: He had eleven for one hundred, one touchdown, a.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Fifty five yard touchdown, three receptions for sixty four yards.
- 9:24Speaker 3: He was balanced. You know, you got him in the
- 9:26Speaker 3: pass game the screen to open it up. I love
- 9:28Speaker 3: the creativity that they showed that first play or screen
- 9:30Speaker 3: pass at him. And then there was something different about
- 9:33Speaker 3: the way he was getting downhill this game. He wasn't
- 9:35Speaker 3: trying to go around anybody. He was getting downhill and
- 9:37Speaker 3: turning the corner on him. Kin Walker ball dout well.
- 9:39Speaker 1: And with ken Walker you love to see the home runs.
- 9:41Speaker 1: That's what we know he's capable of. And he hit
- 9:43Speaker 1: two home runs against the Rams, one hundred and sixty
- 9:45Speaker 1: four total yards and just fourteen touches. I'll take that
- 9:48Speaker 1: each and every day for sure. Looking at a J.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Barner as well, I'm looking at both tight ends.
- 9:52Speaker 4: A J.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Barner four reception forty nine yards, had the one big
- 9:55Speaker 1: touchdown you described it. That was not an easy play.
- 9:57Speaker 1: He makes it, he said a single season career high
- 9:59Speaker 1: with five touchdow to this season. And then Eric Saubert.
- 10:01Speaker 1: We're gonna get to his play in a second, but
- 10:03Speaker 1: again game winning two point conversion. Love what we've seen
- 10:06Speaker 1: from him. He was on ir comes back signs an
- 10:08Speaker 1: extension of the Seahawks, and you can see.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Why, Yeah man and Ernest Jones in this defense. Ernest
- 10:12Speaker 3: had twelve tackles, one t CFL. Rough day for the defense,
- 10:15Speaker 3: all right, did give up five hundred and eighty one
- 10:17Speaker 3: yards franchise record. BIG's Paul Moyer Puoka went off, he
- 10:21Speaker 3: had two twenty five, but it was about the stops
- 10:24Speaker 3: right the three anounced we need him. Fourth quarter you're
- 10:26Speaker 3: blowing up, and it's you have to watch the game
- 10:30Speaker 3: to understand the resilience of that defense. You look at
- 10:33Speaker 3: the sheet, the box score, you're thinking, what were they doing? Yes,
- 10:35Speaker 3: they got lit up. Pooka did his thing, but when
- 10:37Speaker 3: it was time for a stop, he's got stepped up.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Absolutely, And you had members injured in the secondary that
- 10:42Speaker 1: obviously played a factor. And a crazy stat John Boyle
- 10:45Speaker 1: found this out. I saw in one of his articles
- 10:47Speaker 1: the Seahawks are four to zero and allowing a two
- 10:50Speaker 1: hundred yard receiver. That's a random stass. It means nothing.
- 10:54Speaker 1: That's not a good recipe for stopping people. But Seahawks
- 10:57Speaker 1: get it done. That brings us to the biggest place
- 10:59Speaker 1: of the game. Look at the game winning drive down
- 11:02Speaker 1: the stretches. First play, We're gonna look at Sam Donald
- 11:04Speaker 1: hooking up with Cooper Cup for a twenty one yard game.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Donald from the shotgun, takes the snap, looks down the middle,
- 11:11Speaker 2: throws to the new yar side. Cooper Cup does he
- 11:14Speaker 2: drag his feet?
- 11:15Speaker 1: He does? Holy catfish.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Cooper Cup between two defenders, drags his feet, keeps his
- 11:23Speaker 2: feet in bounds on the right sidelines for twenty one
- 11:27Speaker 2: against his former team. Back to the line of scrimmage
- 11:30Speaker 2: or the Seahawks first and ten at the Rams sixteen.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Yeah, man, this is Sam Donald. Does not get enough
- 11:38Speaker 4: love for this throw.
- 11:39Speaker 3: First off, man, I mean he stands in there, gets
- 11:41Speaker 3: smacked on the chin and drops a diamonds Just a
- 11:45Speaker 3: simple corner route by Cooper Cup. We got a too
- 11:47Speaker 3: high safety look. Jayson lines up in the backfield. He's
- 11:50Speaker 3: gonna run short underneath and that takes the eyes of
- 11:52Speaker 3: the corner right. The corner can't commit to drop into
- 11:54Speaker 3: that to Cooper Cup's corner route because of Jaysn and
- 11:58Speaker 3: my guy Sam Donald sees that.
- 12:00Speaker 4: And the angle.
- 12:02Speaker 3: That Cooper Cup takes here I think is important as well.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Sometimes you come out too high, you're being that safety
- 12:06Speaker 3: in the play. You come out too shallow, going to
- 12:07Speaker 3: bring that corner into play. He hits that left foot
- 12:10Speaker 3: and he drops a dime on him. But then when
- 12:12Speaker 3: we look at the end zone and the way Sam
- 12:15Speaker 3: Donald stays in there right, the rams are rushing four
- 12:18Speaker 3: guys over there. You got a stump by verse and
- 12:20Speaker 3: they believe is that Kobe Turner who had himself a day.
- 12:23Speaker 3: They run a stump confused office and Lineman a little
- 12:25Speaker 3: bit so versus all by himself. Boom hits him right
- 12:28Speaker 3: in the chin, and Sam has the stones as Dave
- 12:31Speaker 3: Woman would say, to stand in there and drop a dime.
- 12:34Speaker 3: And then the toe tap by the veteran Cooper Cub
- 12:36Speaker 3: was beautiful.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I mean everything about this play is beautiful. What I
- 12:39Speaker 1: love creativity from Klint Kubiak in this offense Jacksonmith Jake
- 12:43Speaker 1: but did not have a reception in the first half,
- 12:44Speaker 1: so find different ways to get him open. I love
- 12:46Speaker 1: this motion putting him in the backfield, really seeing what
- 12:48Speaker 1: the defense is about. That got him open earlier in
- 12:51Speaker 1: the game. That kind of set this up. You mentioned
- 12:53Speaker 1: the corner his eyes, even if it whether it's cover
- 12:55Speaker 1: to wherever it is. He can't get dapth to take
- 12:57Speaker 1: this route away because the best receiver in foot one
- 13:00Speaker 1: of the two is lining up in front of him,
- 13:01Speaker 1: so holds him just enough. In the Cooper Cup, you
- 13:03Speaker 1: are an absolute I mean, people don't understand. They say, oh,
- 13:06Speaker 1: toe tap, that's hard. He's running full speed towards the sideline,
- 13:09Speaker 1: focusing on the ball, but has the presence of mind
- 13:11Speaker 1: to get both feed in to drag that foot going
- 13:13Speaker 1: full speed. Are you kidding me? I mean, I don't
- 13:16Speaker 1: think it gets enough justice there. And then you said,
- 13:18Speaker 1: Sam Darnald, when Jared versus coming around the corner, to
- 13:20Speaker 1: rip your head off and just stand in that pocket
- 13:22Speaker 1: and throw that ball and not flinch at all and
- 13:23Speaker 1: not throw off your back foot. Love what we saw
- 13:25Speaker 1: from both those guys on that play and beautiful. And
- 13:27Speaker 1: then this next play, this guy a done. Jaysen scores
- 13:30Speaker 1: the touchdown the play before this is the game winning
- 13:33Speaker 1: two point conversion. Sam Donald finds Eric Sobert.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Donald has time, looks hits.
- 13:38Speaker 2: On, HiT's cock cut down, make it extra.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Point, make a conversion. I don't care what it is.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Goot say Yawks win the game.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Houck in on the last playing the game. Let's say
- 13:50Speaker 2: Yawks win thirty eight thirty seven hits. Sobber put the
- 13:54Speaker 2: two point conversion. Catch holy cow.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Rased, I love that call. Man.
- 14:01Speaker 3: All right, you got trips to the right side of
- 14:03Speaker 3: Sam Donald, the trips with a little stack in there
- 14:05Speaker 3: as well, and get a motion Aj Barner in He's
- 14:08Speaker 3: gonna run a shallow like he's a searching searching search
- 14:10Speaker 3: is gonna pull defenders with him. You go down to
- 14:12Speaker 3: Cooper Cup's gonna run a speed out. There's an option there,
- 14:15Speaker 3: and they got JSN working in the back of the
- 14:17Speaker 3: end zone. The spacing is beautiful here. And then Zach
- 14:20Speaker 3: Charbonne swinging out to the left side. But here's the
- 14:24Speaker 3: great thing about this, look at his eyes, at his feet.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Sam Donald goes from Cooper Cup to JSN to AJ
- 14:32Speaker 3: Barner and says, you know what, here's my fourth option.
- 14:35Speaker 3: I'm gonna hit Eric Sabin and Saber does a good
- 14:37Speaker 3: time of selling the pass pro. You sell the pass
- 14:39Speaker 3: Pro so now defenders, relax, what's your key? Your guy
- 14:42Speaker 3: blocks down? Okay, I'm gonna look for the running back
- 14:44Speaker 3: in the back film I can relax, and dropping his
- 14:46Speaker 3: own sells the pass pro Sam's good with his feet,
- 14:48Speaker 3: he's good with his eyes.
- 14:49Speaker 4: And then he tosses one in there.
- 14:51Speaker 3: And then if you look at the end zone version
- 14:53Speaker 3: of this, that throw cool. I mean it's it's one
- 14:57Speaker 3: anticipated because he's got Kobe Turner who's been just having
- 15:00Speaker 3: himself a day with his hands up, slides to his
- 15:03Speaker 3: left side and drops it to where Eric Sobert is
- 15:05Speaker 3: going to be, not where he is game over.
- 15:08Speaker 1: It just looks like a drill. It looks like a
- 15:10Speaker 1: drill in OTA's where people are throwing bags at your feet,
- 15:13Speaker 1: quarterbacks moving around. He does what he does there. Everything
- 15:16Speaker 1: about this play is great, right A. J Barner's route
- 15:18Speaker 1: takes away two players right there, Boom Cooper Cup takes
- 15:21Speaker 1: away the corner, runs the out route Jason in the
- 15:23Speaker 1: back of the end zone to play before he catches
- 15:25Speaker 1: a touchdown in the back of that end zone right there.
- 15:27Speaker 1: So the safety's obviously being getting locked in there, and
- 15:30Speaker 1: you mentioned it. Eric Saubert absolutely MVP of this your
- 15:33Speaker 1: guy blocks. Your eyes have gone off him. Now in
- 15:35Speaker 1: the corner there, who's in good Fowler Junior, he's looking
- 15:38Speaker 1: at him. You can watch his whole body language. The
- 15:40Speaker 1: second he sees Sober block, he kind of relaxes, takes
- 15:43Speaker 1: two steps out because what's on his side. The only
- 15:45Speaker 1: person on the side is Zax Starbney and those two
- 15:47Speaker 1: steps get it done right there. By the time Sobber's
- 15:50Speaker 1: catching the football is too late. Everyone bad body language.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Seahawks get it done. They beat the Rams, and they
- 15:55Speaker 1: needed this for everybody involved. And last thing I'll say,
- 15:58Speaker 1: you mentioned it. Kobe Turner himself a hell of a game.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Saam Darnold moved around in the pocket and then Zabel
- 16:04Speaker 1: in that matchup. He has some tough reps but blocks
- 16:06Speaker 1: him just enough that he can't get both hands up. Yeah,
- 16:09Speaker 1: he can only get his right arm up. His left
- 16:10Speaker 1: one doesn't get up. The lefton gets up, he might
- 16:12Speaker 1: bat it down. Great play by everyone involved. Seahawks get
- 16:15Speaker 1: it done beating the Rams. Now it's time to flip
- 16:17Speaker 1: our attention towards the next team. The Seahawks are gonna
- 16:20Speaker 1: play the Carolina Panthers. What's on tap? What's on tap
- 16:24Speaker 1: these Panthers, pump, I don't really. It's really hard to
- 16:27Speaker 1: what to make of these guys. It is, they are
- 16:29Speaker 1: eight and seven, first place in the NFC South. They
- 16:32Speaker 1: have losses to the Jags, Cardinals, Patriots, Bill, Saints, forty
- 16:35Speaker 1: nine Ers, and Saints Again. I mean, they've beat some
- 16:38Speaker 1: good teams, big winsor with the Packers and Rams, huge
- 16:40Speaker 1: brutal losses. I mentioned the Saints twice and the Cardinals.
- 16:43Speaker 1: They got curb stopped by the Bills and Patriots. Holy smokes,
- 16:46Speaker 1: those games weren't close. But they're up and down. They've
- 16:48Speaker 1: done some really good things, some bad. After a three
- 16:50Speaker 1: game win streak, they've gone lost win lost win, lost
- 16:53Speaker 1: win lost win. So I guess you could say they
- 16:56Speaker 1: are really good at bouncing back. But then you can
- 16:59Speaker 1: also say they're very inconsider So what do you see
- 17:00Speaker 1: from them against the Bucks?
- 17:01Speaker 4: Ah? Man, it wasn't.
- 17:04Speaker 3: When I was watching that game, I'm looking at Bryce
- 17:07Speaker 3: and he just looks different to me. Now you sell
- 17:08Speaker 3: he's maturing as a quarterback man, And it's cool to
- 17:11Speaker 3: see because I know all the hate that he gets
- 17:13Speaker 3: because of his size and what nine. But man, the Panthers,
- 17:16Speaker 3: they have been to the playoffs in twenty seventeen. They
- 17:18Speaker 3: haven't won their divisions is twenty fifteen. That's the year
- 17:20Speaker 3: they and they went to the super Bowl. Before Sunday,
- 17:22Speaker 3: the Panthers lost five in a row to the Bucks.
- 17:24Speaker 3: They're two and eleven since twenty eighteen. Bryce was twenty
- 17:28Speaker 3: one to thirty two one ninety one, two touchdown. You
- 17:30Speaker 3: have a Tedtor Roll McMillon. He has six receptions for
- 17:33Speaker 3: seventy three and one touchdown. Lathan Ranson had an interception
- 17:36Speaker 3: of Baker Mayfield with forty two seconds left in the
- 17:38Speaker 3: game to ice to victory.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Young now has a twelve game winning.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Streak in fourth quarter or overtime since twenty twenty three.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Mayfield was eighteen to twenty six for one forty five
- 17:49Speaker 3: one touchdown win interception, but he early had nineteen for
- 17:52Speaker 3: seventy one. Mike Evans had five for thirty one yards
- 17:55Speaker 3: in one touchdown. The Bucks have fallen off a cliff
- 17:58Speaker 3: since beating the Seahawks back in the day.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Seems like that was forever ago. Yeah, that's the NFL
- 18:03Speaker 4: for you. Though.
- 18:05Speaker 1: They beat the Seahawks and the forty nine Ers back
- 18:07Speaker 1: to back weeks and they've been two and seven, So
- 18:10Speaker 1: I mean, it's the NFL. That's why you play the game.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I mean, like I think you've all said. I've heard
- 18:14Speaker 1: you say that for Brian Walter say. They are good
- 18:16Speaker 1: enough to beat the Rams, which most people thought was
- 18:18Speaker 1: the best team in the National Football League, and they're
- 18:20Speaker 1: also bad enough to lose the Saints twice. Yeah, and
- 18:22Speaker 1: the Cardinals. So it's it's hard to get to beat.
- 18:24Speaker 1: You don't know which team's gonna show ups, but we
- 18:25Speaker 1: will see these teams. It felt like they used to
- 18:28Speaker 1: play each other every single year, and they did for
- 18:30Speaker 1: about five straight years. Let's know the history, No your history.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Seahawks League all time series eleven to five, nine and
- 18:37Speaker 1: four in the regular season, two and one in the postseason.
- 18:39Speaker 1: The Seahawks have won for the last five matchups. The
- 18:42Speaker 1: last game twenty twenty three, the Seahawks win convincing only
- 18:44Speaker 1: ten point game at loom And Field. Ken Walker had
- 18:47Speaker 1: a good day eighteen carries, ninety seven yards, two touchdowns.
- 18:50Speaker 1: DK had one hundred and twelve yards on six receptions.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Gino almost threw for three hundred yards. Andy Dalton was
- 18:55Speaker 1: the guy starting on the side of that day. Thirty
- 18:58Speaker 1: four or fifty eight, three hundred and sixty one yard
- 19:00Speaker 1: two touchdowns. Adam Field let all receivers one hundred and
- 19:02Speaker 1: forty five yards in LA.
- 19:03Speaker 4: He's still in the league.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Sorry. Last night the Steelers. Yeah, and then I'll say this,
- 19:08Speaker 1: Zach Charbonneaue had one of his best runs of his career.
- 19:10Speaker 1: I don't know what he did. He knocked the corner
- 19:11Speaker 1: out run into that sideline, one of the biggest Yeah.
- 19:14Speaker 1: So we'll see what happens. Obviously, these two teams look very, very,
- 19:17Speaker 1: very different than they did when those two teams match
- 19:19Speaker 1: up that last time. Those football attension elsewhere in the division,
- 19:23Speaker 1: what's the word? And the Seahawks or the NFC West
- 19:30Speaker 1: champs again, what's the word in the West? On Hawk
- 19:34Speaker 1: talk Wood.
- 19:35Speaker 4: These standings look good right now.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Seahawks on top of the division twelve and three, the
- 19:39Speaker 3: Rams behind them eleven and four, Niners are ten and four,
- 19:42Speaker 3: and you got the Cardinals that are three and twelve.
- 19:45Speaker 4: The Seahawks are all alone in first place.
- 19:47Speaker 3: They control their own destiny to win the division and
- 19:49Speaker 3: secure the number one. See, let's play at home and
- 19:52Speaker 3: have a week off, please, So we got to take
- 19:54Speaker 3: take care of businesses next two weeks though. All right,
- 19:56Speaker 3: that being said, forty nine ers also control their own
- 19:58Speaker 3: destiny to win the NFC West if they went out,
- 20:00Speaker 3: so we still got some work to do.
- 20:01Speaker 4: If the Seahakson forty.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Nine to take care of business this week, the week
- 20:04Speaker 3: eight team matchup could be just like twenty nineteen back
- 20:07Speaker 3: in the day when you were trying to shape up
- 20:09Speaker 3: this playoff pitcher. This could mean another Sunday night matchup
- 20:12Speaker 3: and introduce Sam Donner once again to all the haters
- 20:16Speaker 3: out there. But it starts with the Paranthers. But this
- 20:18Speaker 3: division the best division in football this year by far.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Yeah, we've been talking about it. You know, last year
- 20:23Speaker 1: we thought it could have been one of them. This
- 20:25Speaker 1: year it's unequippally the best vision football. You already have
- 20:27Speaker 1: three teams that have clinched. One team from this division
- 20:29Speaker 1: is going to be the number one seed, and it's
- 20:31Speaker 1: going to be And honestly, it doesn't matter either one
- 20:34Speaker 1: of these teams. You're not gonna want to play them
- 20:36Speaker 1: on the if you're hosting, if the ninerss Whoever's coming
- 20:39Speaker 1: to your building, you're not gonna want to play either
- 20:41Speaker 1: one of these teams. NFC West is in really good shape.
- 20:44Speaker 1: The forty nine ers and the Colts are and get
- 20:45Speaker 1: that get it on tonight, so we'll see what Philip
- 20:47Speaker 1: Rivers and company has going. But yeah, it should be
- 20:49Speaker 1: fun and I would love a Sunday night football matchup
- 20:52Speaker 1: to end the regular season. Seeaw's playing for the one
- 20:54Speaker 1: seed against forty nine ers, because that's what this game
- 20:56Speaker 1: is all about. Was football at tension. Though, as we
- 20:58Speaker 1: finish this to the Caroline Panthers, man up, Hey, who
- 21:01Speaker 1: you got, who you got? You know what time it is?
- 21:04Speaker 4: Man up?
- 21:04Speaker 1: Man up, brother, man up, man up. On Hawk Talk
- 21:08Speaker 1: we started the quarterbacks always dude, Bryce Young, He's got
- 21:11Speaker 1: an up and down you know part to his career.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I always liked him in Alabama. He was a dog,
- 21:16Speaker 1: one of the best players in the country. Obviously, He's
- 21:17Speaker 1: in his third season in the NFL with mixed results.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Rookie season. Started all sixteen games, but the Panthers were
- 21:23Speaker 1: just bad. They were two and fourteen. He threw for
- 21:25Speaker 1: almost three thousand yards, eleven touchdowns, ten picks. He was
- 21:28Speaker 1: sacked sixty two times that year. They were bad. It
- 21:31Speaker 1: was a rough year, but he played okay for a rookie.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Then you go into last year and it just he
- 21:34Speaker 1: just didn't have it. There was things right off the bat,
- 21:37Speaker 1: they go zero to two. He did not look good
- 21:38Speaker 1: in those games. He gets bench and he at comes in,
- 21:41Speaker 1: they figure that out. He eventually gets back on the field,
- 21:44Speaker 1: he goes. He went on to start twelve games. He
- 21:46Speaker 1: went two thirty four for three eighty four two four
- 21:48Speaker 1: hundred three yards, fifteen touchdowns and nine interceptions, six rushing
- 21:51Speaker 1: touchdowns Obeta. So he kind of started to figure things
- 21:54Speaker 1: out for his end of the year, and you hitting
- 21:55Speaker 1: the nail on the head. He's bounced back and looked
- 21:57Speaker 1: really good so far this year. He two sixty six
- 22:00Speaker 1: for four nineteen twenty six hundred ninety one yards, twenty
- 22:03Speaker 1: one touchdowns, nine interceptions, career highs and completion percentage and touchdowns.
- 22:07Speaker 1: He's probably gonna break yards as well. And you mentioned
- 22:09Speaker 1: it being clutched all year, twelve game winning drives. So
- 22:11Speaker 1: I don't know. I feel he is not the quarterback
- 22:14Speaker 1: we've seen in years. Pass He can definitely hurt you,
- 22:16Speaker 1: definitely put a lot of pressure on him, but he's
- 22:18Speaker 1: definitely figuring some stuff out there in his NFL career.
- 22:21Speaker 4: That's why you don't give up them quarterbacks too early.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Man.
- 22:23Speaker 3: You gotta let them grow, let them develop. I just
- 22:25Speaker 3: talk about our quarterback. Man had another great game. He
- 22:28Speaker 3: was twenty two or thirty four to two, seventy two touchdowns,
- 22:30Speaker 3: did overcome two interceptions, which was important. He led his
- 22:33Speaker 3: ninth game winning drive in the fourth quarter overtime. That's
- 22:36Speaker 3: the most is twenty to twenty four. He's won among
- 22:39Speaker 3: the league best, all right. He's fifth when it comes
- 22:41Speaker 3: to passing yards. He's first when it comes to yards
- 22:43Speaker 3: per pass stempt tied for first. He's first in yards
- 22:46Speaker 3: per completion seventh and passer, and ninth when it comes
- 22:48Speaker 3: to completion percentage. So far this year, thirty seven hundred yards,
- 22:51Speaker 3: twenty four touchdowns, thirteen interceptions.
- 22:54Speaker 4: He's gonna hit four thousand yards.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Always think about the Bears because they still haven't had
- 22:57Speaker 3: a four thousand yard passer in their franchise history with
- 23:00Speaker 3: great so every time I see that someone getting close
- 23:03Speaker 3: to four thousand, I big ups the Bears. The Hawks
- 23:06Speaker 3: have done an amazing job protecting Sam Donald two one
- 23:08Speaker 3: have been sacked twenty two times, as tied for third
- 23:10Speaker 3: in the NFL on the season, The Panthers are seventeenth
- 23:13Speaker 3: in total defensive line three twenty nine per game. They
- 23:16Speaker 3: raked sixteenth against the pass, aligning to a on nine
- 23:18Speaker 3: per game, fourteenth in scoring defensive lining twenty two per game.
- 23:22Speaker 3: You feel like Sam could have another good day against
- 23:25Speaker 3: these guys.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I hope so, I absolutely think it. They're not terrible.
- 23:27Speaker 1: They're kind of middle of the pack on a lot
- 23:29Speaker 1: of things. Defensively we mentioned they're up and down nature,
- 23:31Speaker 1: but definitely looking forward to Sam Donald doing his thing.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I remember back in the day, four thousand was at
- 23:35Speaker 1: least be a lot of yards, right, that was common
- 23:37Speaker 1: by standard. Now I mean he Sam will probably finish
- 23:40Speaker 1: fifth or six. You can have over four thousand yards,
- 23:42Speaker 1: so we'll see that. Flipping in over to their running backs,
- 23:46Speaker 1: Rico dwell In, Chubble Hubbard against the Seahawks front seven
- 23:49Speaker 1: and Ricos having himself a pretty good year four seasons
- 23:52Speaker 1: of the Cowboys, who became the starter last year went
- 23:54Speaker 1: over thousand yards for first signing his career. Also had
- 23:56Speaker 1: two hundred forty nine receiving yards three touchdowns. This season
- 23:59Speaker 1: changed jer kept it going back to back one thousand
- 24:02Speaker 1: yard seasons. So far, he's got one thousand and seven
- 24:04Speaker 1: yard six touchdowns and also one receiving touchdown. And then
- 24:07Speaker 1: he got Hubbard, the fore and back out of Oklahoma State.
- 24:10Speaker 1: He was the dog last year. He had over one
- 24:12Speaker 1: thousand yards last season, ten touchdowns. He's a good backup.
- 24:15Speaker 1: They definitely hurt you. So this tandem definitely good players,
- 24:18Speaker 1: Seahawk strength, defensively stopping the run.
- 24:20Speaker 3: We'll see what happens on Sunday. Yeah, Donald was doing
- 24:22Speaker 3: this thing earlier this season too. Man, that's a good
- 24:25Speaker 3: story if you know anything about him and look him up.
- 24:27Speaker 3: All right, let's talk about their receivers, man, tedle Roy
- 24:30Speaker 3: is it probably the best Rocky receiver in the game
- 24:33Speaker 3: right now. Xavier legged as well, and you know they
- 24:36Speaker 3: got some good wideouts. But we just saw Pooka, you
- 24:40Speaker 3: know what I mean. He just saw Pookah.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Pooka has went.
- 24:42Speaker 3: For two twenty five, so I think these Hawks will
- 24:45Speaker 3: be prepared for this one. But mcbillan, he's a good
- 24:47Speaker 3: ball player, mane It was eighth overall pick in the
- 24:49Speaker 3: twenty twenty five draft and he went to U dub
- 24:52Speaker 3: Big up to my guys now Arizona, Sorry, pick up
- 24:54Speaker 3: to my guy Curtis Rogers. He had a back to
- 24:57Speaker 3: back thirteen hundred yard receiving seasons, twenty six total touchdowns,
- 25:01Speaker 3: and he was an All American.
- 25:03Speaker 4: He can go get it.
- 25:04Speaker 3: He's not a really fast receiver, he's more smooth, but
- 25:07Speaker 3: his ball skills are crazy.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:08Speaker 1: No, we obviously watched him in the formerly the Pac
- 25:10Speaker 1: twelve now obviously big staple in the Big twelve Arizona.
- 25:14Speaker 1: But no, McMillan, he's he's a great player. He's a
- 25:16Speaker 1: good player. He you mentioned. I do think he's the
- 25:18Speaker 1: best rookie wide receiver in the National Football League. And
- 25:22Speaker 1: while yeah, he's not pooking Akola, no, I don't. I'm
- 25:25Speaker 1: hoping the Panthers don't even throw for two hundred twenty
- 25:27Speaker 1: five yards to everybody. But we'll see those two guys
- 25:31Speaker 1: that can play. And the biggest thing for me is
- 25:33Speaker 1: bumb will beee what the Seahawks secondary looks like. We
- 25:36Speaker 1: know that Kobe Bryant got nicked up in the last game.
- 25:38Speaker 1: We know the Rieko got nicked up a little bit.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Nicki Minworris thought about it, but he passed concussion protocol.
- 25:43Speaker 1: So just reset and to see what the secondary is
- 25:45Speaker 1: going to look like so that might play a factor
- 25:48Speaker 1: and what happens on the field there. Then looking at
- 25:50Speaker 1: our guys, Jackson, Smith, the Jigba, Cooper Cup, Rashichi Hid.
- 25:54Speaker 4: That treoll is starting to sound really good.
- 25:56Speaker 1: It does this little ring too. And then you're going
- 25:58Speaker 1: up with j. C. Horn in Seahawk, Mike Jackson. Those
- 26:01Speaker 1: guys have played some good ball this year. I love it.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I'll just say one thing about Mike jack He he
- 26:05Speaker 1: was a great dude here in Seattle. He was always physical,
- 26:07Speaker 1: he played well, did everything ever asked of him. So
- 26:10Speaker 1: to see him out there as a starter and a
- 26:12Speaker 1: team really investing in him doing his thing because he
- 26:14Speaker 1: earned it when he was in Seattle, and he's obviously
- 26:16Speaker 1: earning it down there in Carolina. But Jason, again, we
- 26:18Speaker 1: talked about him earlier. Eight receptions of ninety six yards
- 26:21Speaker 1: one touchdown against the Rams. He's he's done it all.
- 26:24Speaker 1: He leads the NFL and receiving with one thousand, six
- 26:26Speaker 1: hundred and threy seven yards bump, but hooking the coup
- 26:29Speaker 1: after that game right on his heels. That that gap
- 26:32Speaker 1: was huge. Until the last month we've seen him from
- 26:34Speaker 1: the Koua. He only leads our only trails Jason by
- 26:38Speaker 1: forty five yards. But anyway, Jason second in yards per game,
- 26:42Speaker 1: leads the NFL in yards for touch sixth in yards
- 26:44Speaker 1: per reception, fourth, interceptions, third and receiving touchdowns. He's having
- 26:48Speaker 1: an unbelievable season. He's going to continue doing that. And
- 26:50Speaker 1: then Cooper Cup and Rashid Shaheed, you know, they both
- 26:53Speaker 1: played well, and like you said, it's little by little
- 26:56Speaker 1: watching them on the same when they're on the same
- 26:58Speaker 1: side of the field, that problem. Yeah, So I love
- 27:01Speaker 1: what we're seeing from that that trio there bump yeah, man.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Shaheed is starting to work itself in and Cooper Cub
- 27:06Speaker 3: is having the season that you and I thought he
- 27:08Speaker 3: would have about six seven hundred yards and be clutched.
- 27:11Speaker 3: He's had some clutch catches, man, and none bigger than
- 27:14Speaker 3: the one he had last week that was great in
- 27:16Speaker 3: shihe man, take another one at the house. Why not
- 27:18Speaker 3: be the best return in the game right now?
- 27:20Speaker 1: And now you got you got people just probably special teams.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Coordina's trying themself up in knots because depending on where
- 27:25Speaker 1: you're at, you can't just are you gonna willing to
- 27:28Speaker 1: just kick it out of the back in the end
- 27:29Speaker 1: zone or just kick it out of bounds on punt.
- 27:31Speaker 1: You're willing to give up all this field position because
- 27:33Speaker 1: you're scared of I mean, he just yeah, he changed
- 27:35Speaker 1: the game. I love the pressure he's putting on posing
- 27:37Speaker 1: coordinator each and every week. And with that, let's get
- 27:40Speaker 1: to have the Seahastra and get this thing done. Path
- 27:42Speaker 1: to victory.
- 27:45Speaker 2: After forty five waits for the staff, Michael Dixon puts
- 27:48Speaker 2: it down.
- 27:48Speaker 1: That kick is away. If that kick is gone, good day.
- 27:52Speaker 1: On Quinn Bit's gone. It's a path to victory on
- 27:56Speaker 1: Hawk Talk. I'll repeat it every week, bump until South working.
- 27:59Speaker 1: And I believe it more and more each and every week.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, goes mc donald. He said, the
- 28:04Speaker 1: players have earned the right to expect to win because
- 28:07Speaker 1: of what they're doing in practice from otiers and on
- 28:09Speaker 1: the field. We keep seeing it each and every week,
- 28:11Speaker 1: and they have earned the right and that's why I
- 28:13Speaker 1: expect them to win every time they step on the
- 28:14Speaker 1: field because of what they've shown us all year long.
- 28:17Speaker 1: And I think they can take care of business on
- 28:18Speaker 1: Sunday and run the table. Yeah, man, And it starts
- 28:21Speaker 1: with the defense man. The defense. Get back to doing
- 28:23Speaker 1: what you're doing.
- 28:23Speaker 4: All right.
- 28:24Speaker 3: You gave up five to eighty one, all right, but
- 28:25Speaker 3: you got the w and you had your moments. Let's
- 28:28Speaker 3: get after this young quarterback man. The Hawks have ony
- 28:30Speaker 3: had three sacks in the last three games. Does not
- 28:32Speaker 3: like them. Go get after this young quarterback offensively, take
- 28:35Speaker 3: care of the football. I'd like a game maybe with
- 28:38Speaker 3: no turnovers, you know what I'm saying. Love maybe game
- 28:40Speaker 3: of two. But Sam, keep playing with that confidence that
- 28:43Speaker 3: we saw the end the game.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Though, Yeah, ripping rippit. Sam's doing his thing, and let's
- 28:46Speaker 1: run the rock man. I would love to see Karen
- 28:48Speaker 1: Walker get to a thousand yards He's only one hundred
- 28:50Speaker 1: and twenty one yards short. Yeah, you need to run
- 28:52Speaker 1: that thing to just get the run game in a place.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I feel pretty good about it. Honestly, we're all to
- 28:56Speaker 1: talk about it this year. Maybe it's not the flashy
- 28:58Speaker 1: numbers you want, but I feel better about it. So again,
- 29:01Speaker 1: keep fine tuning that thing, especially as you get ready
- 29:03Speaker 1: to play those forty nine ers bumping. It's a game
- 29:05Speaker 1: I think you should win. Come on, take care of business.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Set up a showdown, yes against forty nine ers potentially
- 29:13Speaker 1: for the one seed, for the division, for all the marbles,
- 29:16Speaker 1: all the things there. Bump, everyone out there, enjoy the holidays.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Merry Christmas. That's why we do this a little bit
- 29:21Speaker 1: early this week. Do what you gotta do. Enjoy yourself.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Hopefully the Seahawks will take down the Panthers on Sunday.
- 29:26Speaker 1: We'll be back with you next week talking about hopefully
- 29:28Speaker 1: a Seahawks victory. He's Michael bumpas some NASA chobe. This
- 29:31Speaker 1: has been how to talk
