- 0:08Speaker 1: Blow again. Everyone, It's Adam Kaplan. This is inside the
- 0:11Speaker 1: Birds and it's inside the tape with Greg Cosell. Greg, Well,
- 0:16Speaker 1: we did the offense, it was an interesting game start
- 0:18Speaker 1: for the offense, Tail two has But defensively, Greg, it
- 0:22Speaker 1: was they got off to a great start, gave it
- 0:24Speaker 1: but toed out late in the first half, but then
- 0:26Speaker 1: the second half they kind of crash. What were your
- 0:29Speaker 1: thoughts over all in the defense?
- 0:31Speaker 2: It was an odd game. I'll tell you My overall
- 0:33Speaker 2: thought was this. I don't think their D line played
- 0:37Speaker 2: particularly well overall. You know, I don't think that they
- 0:41Speaker 2: did a great job stopping the run. And by the way,
- 0:44Speaker 2: just as I was watching this game and seeing Javonta Williams,
- 0:49Speaker 2: so I just looked something up because and this really
- 0:52Speaker 2: surprised me. Javonta Williams has the second most first down
- 0:56Speaker 2: rushes of any back in the league. When you think
- 0:59Speaker 2: about the Cowboys, what do we think about All Prescott,
- 1:02Speaker 2: you know, Lambkins and Javanta Williams has the second most
- 1:06Speaker 2: first down rushes in the NFL. He has more first
- 1:09Speaker 2: down rushes than Jonathan Taylor.
- 1:11Speaker 1: By the way, that's great. Javonte Williams is a great
- 1:13Speaker 1: story because remember how you know, for his size, fairly
- 1:17Speaker 1: explosive before he suffered the major and injury which maybe
- 1:21Speaker 1: twenty years ago might have enited his career. But he's
- 1:23Speaker 1: kind of been ribbing it. He's done a good job,
- 1:25Speaker 1: scoring a lot of touchdowns. But would shocked me about this.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I know, I know that they do throw the ball lot,
- 1:30Speaker 1: but shot, he was the one who convinced Pete Carle
- 1:34Speaker 1: to come out throwing in twenty twenty. Yeah, so Wilson
- 1:37Speaker 1: and I'm kind of surprised. But the thing that was
- 1:40Speaker 1: interesting Greg, speaking of Javonte Williams first half eagle shut
- 1:43Speaker 1: down the rung game. Coaches say that, Okay, an explosive
- 1:47Speaker 1: run is five yards and more. They only had one
- 1:49Speaker 1: in the first half. They had seven in the second half.
- 1:52Speaker 1: One was Malik Davis and six others with Javonte Williams
- 1:55Speaker 1: right right, And maybe part of it was Ojomo getting
- 1:58Speaker 1: hurt with that wrist injury or arm in whatever he had.
- 2:00Speaker 1: But let's take a look at the first half, Greg, So, yes,
- 2:04Speaker 1: the Cowboys turn it over Turp and falls, he fumbles,
- 2:10Speaker 1: he falls down. That was that was bizarre. But I mean,
- 2:12Speaker 1: that's fluky. That's exactly. But what I thought was interesting, Greg,
- 2:16Speaker 1: they's so many different personnel groupings on offense in this game.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I mean that's what the you know, that's
- 2:22Speaker 2: what the Cowboys do. But obviously it's the run game
- 2:25Speaker 2: with Williams. And again, I guess when Cedee Lamb plays
- 2:30Speaker 2: the Eagles, he just can't catch the ball six truck.
- 2:32Speaker 1: But he crushes somebody to get hit six trusts. But Greg,
- 2:35Speaker 1: now what I liked is nine steps of twenty one,
- 2:39Speaker 1: eight steps of twelve personnel, three steps of twenty two
- 2:41Speaker 1: and forty four steps eleven. I took me the diversity
- 2:43Speaker 1: in your notes, the diversity of personnel to attack the Eagles.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I would say that this was a
- 2:52Speaker 2: game where I felt the Eagles predominantly lined up in
- 2:54Speaker 2: a two high safety structure for the most part, and
- 2:57Speaker 2: then they work off that. I mean, the whole point
- 2:59Speaker 2: of lining up up in that two high safety structure.
- 3:01Speaker 2: That's Fanjo's desired pre snap look because the premise is
- 3:05Speaker 2: so the offense won't know if the coverage is going
- 3:07Speaker 2: to be Cover four, Cover six, cover eight. They can
- 3:10Speaker 2: transition to cover three. They can also get to man
- 3:13Speaker 2: match principles. They can do anything from that two high
- 3:15Speaker 2: safety structure, and I think that's the way they approach
- 3:18Speaker 2: this game because they were alied primarily on their four
- 3:21Speaker 2: man D line pass rush. This was not a blitz game.
- 3:24Speaker 2: But the problem was is the four man D line
- 3:26Speaker 2: pass rush was not a big factor in the game.
- 3:29Speaker 2: And I think that was maybe a surprise to some people,
- 3:32Speaker 2: but it was not. I mean, you know you saw,
- 3:35Speaker 2: I mean throughout the game, what stood out was the
- 3:37Speaker 2: Eagles inability to generate any consistent pressure with their four
- 3:41Speaker 2: man D line pass rush. Carter and Phillips were not
- 3:44Speaker 2: factor as pass rushers. Carter had some strong run game snaps,
- 3:47Speaker 2: as did Jordan Davis, who, by the way, has become
- 3:50Speaker 2: a really good run defender, but you know, Carter and Phillips,
- 3:53Speaker 2: who were not factors as pass rushers, and they really,
- 3:56Speaker 2: for the most part, could not get a lot of
- 3:59Speaker 2: pressure on Dak Press.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Folks just understand because of the shirt week in the
- 4:03Speaker 1: time of the Eagles game, we're not showing clips, but
- 4:06Speaker 1: we're gonna we actually have more time to discuss a
- 4:08Speaker 1: lot of things. And Greg, I remember you saying this.
- 4:11Speaker 1: It's rather obvious, but particularly with Fangio this season, which
- 4:15Speaker 1: has been interesting, not as much this recently. But when
- 4:19Speaker 1: you kick at home with four, you bring five. You
- 4:20Speaker 1: can't get home with five, you bring six.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Other than that great, great blitz by Nikobe, Dean, Ah.
- 4:28Speaker 2: He had another one where he just blew up Williams.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Phenomenal. But did they have another blitz? I don't remember
- 4:33Speaker 1: seeing one.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Well, what they had I think five five man rushes,
- 4:38Speaker 2: but don't forget you're talking about thirty nine drop backs,
- 4:41Speaker 2: so only five of thirty nine dropbacks did they rush five.
- 4:45Speaker 2: So it was a coverage game. But what he did
- 4:48Speaker 2: with his pressures, they were more of the four man
- 4:50Speaker 2: zone exchange concepts. So the play you're talking about with
- 4:53Speaker 2: Dean was only a four man pass rush. He was
- 4:56Speaker 2: the fourth rusher. He did more of that, which keeps
- 5:00Speaker 2: seven in coverage. Which if you can create pressure that way,
- 5:03Speaker 2: that's what you prefer to do, because you'd love to
- 5:05Speaker 2: keep seven in coverage because then then you have the
- 5:08Speaker 2: numbers because there's only five eligibles. So if you have
- 5:10Speaker 2: seven in coverage versus five eligibles, you know it's plus
- 5:14Speaker 2: two for you. Because football on its core is a
- 5:16Speaker 2: numbers game. So but they couldn't really generate any pressure overall,
- 5:22Speaker 2: you know, consistent pressure. So I don't think I think
- 5:28Speaker 2: they had one sack. I think that was the only
- 5:30Speaker 2: sack in the game that they had.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I thought so. And the thing is, the first half
- 5:34Speaker 1: the defense was solid. I mean, they did give up
- 5:36Speaker 1: the touchdown late and obviously the Cowboys helped them with
- 5:39Speaker 1: the comedy of errors. But the second half, Greg, yes,
- 5:42Speaker 1: they started giving up some explosives to Javonte Williams. But
- 5:49Speaker 1: then what happened was Greg, I think once they have
- 5:53Speaker 1: the injuries, it was lights out. What did the tape
- 5:56Speaker 1: show you about spin? Like, did they give too much room?
- 5:59Speaker 2: Well, that's what happened to the secondary once Look, we
- 6:02Speaker 2: know that Dejene for over a month now has been
- 6:05Speaker 2: playing basically for a long time, has been playing outside
- 6:09Speaker 2: with Mitchell in their base defense. But he's in the nickel.
- 6:13Speaker 2: He comes inside. But when Jackson got hurt, they made
- 6:16Speaker 2: the decision to put de Gene outside and bring Michael
- 6:19Speaker 2: Carter in is the slot corner. So Deujeene has not
- 6:23Speaker 2: really played a ton of outside in nickel, and well,
- 6:27Speaker 2: you get a whole different scenario than when you're in
- 6:29Speaker 2: base and he had some struggles. I mean, he gave
- 6:31Speaker 2: up that long completion to Pickens where he just got
- 6:37Speaker 2: totally turned around. It was the forty three yarder to
- 6:39Speaker 2: start the first fourth quarter possession which ended with Prescott's
- 6:43Speaker 2: eight yard scramble touchdown. He ran the deep sale and
- 6:47Speaker 2: he aligned his stemi angle to stem inside to the
- 6:50Speaker 2: post and he got Degene totally turned around. So you know,
- 6:55Speaker 2: the injury started to happen there. Then Blankenship went out
- 6:58Speaker 2: and Sydney Brown had to come in the game and
- 7:01Speaker 2: he got beat on in man coverage on the winning
- 7:04Speaker 2: field goal drive by Ferguson. So I mean there were
- 7:08Speaker 2: there were you know, injuries did play a factor, but
- 7:12Speaker 2: they really couldn't rush the quarterback very well. You know,
- 7:15Speaker 2: it's funny because the interception which happened in the first
- 7:18Speaker 2: half by by blanket Ship. Yes, I wrote down so
- 7:21Speaker 2: many notes on that because that play had That's one
- 7:25Speaker 2: of the reasons I love football, Adam. That play had
- 7:27Speaker 2: so many elements to it. I won't go into the
- 7:30Speaker 2: weeds because people would need to really see it. Sure
- 7:33Speaker 2: that had so many cool elements on the defensive end
- 7:36Speaker 2: that the Eagles did exceptionally well. On that play.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I mean, the interception in general is phenomenal, and you
- 7:42Speaker 1: know it. It was interesting because in the second half,
- 7:46Speaker 1: because people have asked us, you know, where the eagle
- 7:48Speaker 1: seed Degene, Well, they draft from the play corner and
- 7:50Speaker 1: things have obviously changed as you've talked about. They're using
- 7:54Speaker 1: Degene now in base and then he had he played
- 7:57Speaker 1: corner when they have the when they have the injury
- 8:00Speaker 1: to Jackson right concussions, So they're really light there, Gregor.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And it's interesting they didn't they didn't go to a
- 8:07Speaker 1: Jacquarine Bennett that I saw at all, and they went
- 8:10Speaker 1: to Ringo what four snaps I think.
- 8:12Speaker 2: On defense, Yeah, it's going to be fascinating what they
- 8:16Speaker 2: do this week because you know, I don't know about
- 8:19Speaker 2: the safety position, you know, with both safeties, I mean
- 8:22Speaker 2: we know mccoog's out. I would be surprised if Blank
- 8:24Speaker 2: and Ship can go. And now you know, I assume
- 8:29Speaker 2: Sidney Brown plays one of them. But who's going to
- 8:31Speaker 2: play the other?
- 8:32Speaker 1: Well, Andre sam from Els was on their practice squad.
- 8:35Speaker 1: He's been there you know for a couple of years,
- 8:36Speaker 1: right right right. Who they've had Other than that, they've
- 8:40Speaker 1: got the kid Brandon Johnston, Brandon Johnson from Argon who
- 8:43Speaker 1: was with them, who's a nickel by the way, we
- 8:45Speaker 1: could play safety. But that's it. They're stuck. I mean
- 8:49Speaker 1: they might also call Johnny and Simmons work at least
- 8:52Speaker 1: work them out.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. I mean, is this a
- 8:54Speaker 2: week where they think that maybe Dejene can play safety?
- 8:57Speaker 1: And oh, I'm sorry, I remember we reported at the
- 9:00Speaker 1: time Michael Carter is the guy. Michael Carter played safety
- 9:03Speaker 1: at Duke.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Dock.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Howie talked about it when at the trade that they
- 9:08Speaker 1: saw him to play nickel and safety, so he.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Might be the guy. He might be the guy, and
- 9:14Speaker 2: then what they might do on the outside is played
- 9:16Speaker 2: to Cordyan Bennett.

- 11:54Speaker 1: Yeah, in fact, they might have to do that because
- 11:56Speaker 1: at this point, Greg, the running out of players. Yeah,
- 12:00Speaker 1: it's just it's just a function of what you have
- 12:03Speaker 1: left at this point. So the other thing, though, Greg,
- 12:07Speaker 1: is he brought up Jordan Davis, and I know past
- 12:10Speaker 1: Rushwai's a little bit he's a little bit better. But
- 12:13Speaker 1: what is the thing that you like so much about
- 12:14Speaker 1: Jordan Davis's play? Why is he improved? What are the
- 12:17Speaker 1: techniques and how is he.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I would say two things stand out when you watch him,
- 12:21Speaker 2: and this rarely happens, but it's showing up on film.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Is he's playing with much better leverage. He's playing with
- 12:27Speaker 2: much better knee bend, so he's not standing straight up.
- 12:30Speaker 2: So that's the first thing you notice. And the second
- 12:33Speaker 2: thing I noticed is hand placement. The thing about hand placement,
- 12:39Speaker 2: and I learned this, actually, believe it or not, from
- 12:41Speaker 2: Juan Castillo years and years ago.
- 12:43Speaker 1: There you go, you know, and.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Where you want to place your hands because no one
- 12:49Speaker 2: reacts to it this way. And I'll explain this. You
- 12:52Speaker 2: want to place your hands. People can see me, I'm
- 12:54Speaker 2: sure right here, okay, And he is doing a great
- 12:57Speaker 2: job of that because it is not a normal bodily
- 13:00Speaker 2: athletic reaction ad him to do this. That's not a
- 13:03Speaker 2: normal reaction to do that. So if you get your
- 13:07Speaker 2: hands right there, no one an offensive linement doesn't go
- 13:10Speaker 2: like this. That's not a normal reaction, right, And he's
- 13:13Speaker 2: doing such a good job of getting that first push
- 13:17Speaker 2: right there, and because he's so strong, what happens is
- 13:20Speaker 2: is it just forces guys to like go back a
- 13:22Speaker 2: little bit because he's he puts it right in a
- 13:25Speaker 2: spot that they can't prevent. So he's done a really
- 13:29Speaker 2: good job with that. So Nikobe Dane fans want to know,
- 13:32Speaker 2: you know, what's going to happen with him. Campbell, We'll
- 13:34Speaker 2: talk about that next year.
- 13:35Speaker 1: But so far since he's been back, Greg, your phrase
- 13:39Speaker 1: has been, I mean, he looks phenomenal. What have you
- 13:42Speaker 1: seen on tape from from from da Kobe?
- 13:45Speaker 2: The pass rush element. You know, they use him either
- 13:48Speaker 2: as a blitzer or more predominantly as a in the
- 13:51Speaker 2: four man zone exchange or sim pressures as we call it.
- 13:55Speaker 2: And you everybody can see that. You know, he's just
- 13:58Speaker 2: so compact and powerful that he drives running backs right
- 14:01Speaker 2: back into the pocket. He's been able to do that
- 14:04Speaker 2: every week. But he's also very good in the run game.
- 14:06Speaker 2: I think he's a quick trigger guy. He sees it
- 14:08Speaker 2: and he goes. He has to play that way because
- 14:11Speaker 2: for the most part, well he's not physical and powerful
- 14:16Speaker 2: are two different things. He's he's physical, but he's certainly
- 14:20Speaker 2: not going to move a three hundred and thirty pound
- 14:23Speaker 2: guard who's coming right at you know, right at him.
- 14:26Speaker 2: So he has to play with great key and diagnose
- 14:29Speaker 2: and a quick trigger, and he's very good at that.
- 14:32Speaker 2: You know. It's like short quarterbacks. They have to learn
- 14:34Speaker 2: how to throw over tall people, so they learn that
- 14:36Speaker 2: at a young age. He's learned how to deal with
- 14:39Speaker 2: people in the run game because he's not six', three you.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Know and by the, Way campbell only played eleven snaps this,
- 14:45Speaker 2: week and they all came in the first. Half he
- 14:47Speaker 2: didn't play a snap in the second. Half.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Wow, well look at just coaches will tell you we
- 14:52Speaker 1: play our best players for trying to win the. Game
- 14:54Speaker 1: bel won't have to come. Later that's just the way.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Now With phillips, There campbell did not play any snaps
- 14:59Speaker 2: in the base defense on. Outside.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Wow, wow another question that people. Have, okay So pickens
- 15:05Speaker 1: had an unbelievable. Game he called all nine, targets and
- 15:07Speaker 1: of course he got hurt and left the. Game he
- 15:09Speaker 1: could have had. More what Did George pickens? Do how
- 15:12Speaker 1: did he get so? Open what happened in this?
- 15:14Speaker 2: Game, well the interesting thing is they Moved pickens around
- 15:17Speaker 2: a lot in this. Game he didn't just exclusively line
- 15:19Speaker 2: up at BOUNDARY. X now maybe they did that because
- 15:22Speaker 2: they didn't want to go the whole game with The
- 15:24Speaker 2: Pickens mitchell, matchup but because he did a lot of
- 15:27Speaker 2: his damage not Against, mitchell so they moved him around
- 15:31Speaker 2: quite a bit and it was very. Successful and he's
- 15:34Speaker 2: just you, know it's. FUNNY i went back and looked
- 15:36Speaker 2: at my notes when he came, out which was in
- 15:39Speaker 2: twenty twenty, two and you, KNOW i kind, of you,
- 15:44Speaker 2: know kind of nailed. HIM i, mean because here's WHAT i.
- 15:46Speaker 2: SAID i, Said what DID i say? HERE i? Said
- 15:50Speaker 2: he fits the profile of AN NFL bang BOUNDARY x,
- 15:53Speaker 2: receiver explosive both off the ball and into his route.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Stem he eat space in a hurry with stride length
- 15:58Speaker 2: and build up. Speed he ran by sec corners as
- 16:01Speaker 2: outstanding ball. SKILLS i, mean you, know to, me this
- 16:05Speaker 2: guy was a great prospect coming. Out you, know, again
- 16:09Speaker 2: we've heard about the personality. PART i don't get into,
- 16:12Speaker 2: that But i'm just talking about the player on the.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Field he's a really tough. Cover at. HIM i, mean
- 16:16Speaker 2: he's just a really tough. Cover he's. Long he's not
- 16:20Speaker 2: explosive in the way let's Say Jamar chase is, explosive
- 16:23Speaker 2: but he's explosive in a different kind of way because
- 16:26Speaker 2: he's so.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Long but they.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Didn't they moved him around in this game more THAN
- 16:31Speaker 2: i would have. Anticipated, yeah and he tacked the football
- 16:35Speaker 2: and he's.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Just he's just amazing. Talent and they have a guy
- 16:42Speaker 1: now that it's funny because you, know he's up for
- 16:44Speaker 1: a contract and so far he's been on his best
- 16:47Speaker 1: behavior because The steelers were done with. Him they wanted
- 16:49Speaker 1: him off the roster right. Right and you see how
- 16:51Speaker 1: BOTHERED i, MEAN i know that they're happy to Have,
- 16:54Speaker 1: metcalf but they haven't found another receiver to compliment, him
- 16:57Speaker 1: and that's certainly been a.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Problem but, again you, know, yeah we don't get OR
- 17:00Speaker 2: i don't get into the personal. STUFF i know you,
- 17:02Speaker 2: you BUT i heard things as like you you. Do
- 17:04Speaker 2: but the bottom line is the guy's a terrific. RECEIVER
- 17:07Speaker 2: i Would. Vet most people don't know that he's got
- 17:09Speaker 2: over a thousand yards, already and there's only one other
- 17:11Speaker 2: receiver over a thousand yards and That's smith And. Jigback it's.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Incredible so when we look at the, Secondary, GREG i,
- 17:18Speaker 1: thought just as the fourth quarter, WENT i mean they
- 17:21Speaker 1: got the they had three DPIs on one, series which
- 17:24Speaker 1: is not. Good, yeah and And. Coop let's talk About
- 17:28Speaker 1: coop as a corner because one of the big issues
- 17:31Speaker 1: That jeff AND i found out when we were gathering
- 17:34Speaker 1: information pre draft and after the draft is clubs simply
- 17:38Speaker 1: weren't sure was he a? Corner was he? Nickel because
- 17:42Speaker 1: we know he's a corner in. College the finders talked about,
- 17:44Speaker 1: it but if you're taking a corner in the first
- 17:49Speaker 1: or defensive back of the first, round you got to
- 17:51Speaker 1: kind of know what he's going to be long. Term, okay,
- 17:52Speaker 1: okay you could get away with it first couple of,
- 17:54Speaker 1: years but eventually you got to. Know clubs weren't. Comfortable
- 17:57Speaker 1: we knew he was a super freak. Athlete we got all,
- 17:59Speaker 1: that and we've seen that so. Far it's been. Terrific But,
- 18:02Speaker 1: greg you did like him for the, draft seems did
- 18:05Speaker 1: you see him in your pre draft. Notes do you
- 18:06Speaker 1: see him as a corner or nickel or?
- 18:08Speaker 3: Safety, hey one thing that always scares me is the
- 18:11Speaker 3: latest financial. Scam and with the, holidays it's all about
- 18:14Speaker 3: finding the perfect. Gift but this time of the, year

- 20:48Speaker 2: Off, OH i just pulled on my, notes don you?
- 20:53Speaker 2: KNOW i ended by saying the question with the gene
- 20:56Speaker 2: is how will he be projected to the next? Level
- 20:59Speaker 2: with my sense that some teams will see him as
- 21:01Speaker 2: a star meeting a slot while there's my project him of,
- 21:04Speaker 2: safety BUT i also believe he could be a full
- 21:07Speaker 2: time corner for a defense that features own coverage concepts
- 21:10Speaker 2: as its. Foundation he's not a loose hipped, guy you,
- 21:15Speaker 2: Know that's the. Thing he's kind of straight line ish
- 21:19Speaker 2: he's a little segmented opening his. Hips you, know he's
- 21:22Speaker 2: a little, stiff so he's not as transition fluid as
- 21:26Speaker 2: you would like to play on the. Outsider he's straight lined.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Fast you, know he ran a four four three at
- 21:33Speaker 2: his pro. Day and obviously he's a great. Athlete he
- 21:35Speaker 2: had the great vertical, jump all that great. Stuff he's
- 21:38Speaker 2: just a little stiff in his hips for most people
- 21:41Speaker 2: to think of him as a corner who can do
- 21:44Speaker 2: everything that you want an outside corner to.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Do So, greg we've covered. It we've covered a lot
- 21:49Speaker 1: of players and what kind of happened in the. Game
- 21:52Speaker 1: and to, ME i think the injuries of the second
- 21:53Speaker 1: have crushed them because you'll never know if they would
- 21:57Speaker 1: have won the. Game BUT i mean it was JUST i,
- 21:59Speaker 1: Mean coop wasn't for whatever, reason he gave up some.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Plays jackson gave up some, plays made some plays before
- 22:04Speaker 1: he got. Hurt they don't know who's gonna be a
- 22:06Speaker 1: line of bit corner, yet so real quick, Here So
- 22:09Speaker 1: Caleb williams is coming into. Town just a snippet before
- 22:12Speaker 1: we do the pregame show this. Week how's he look
- 22:14Speaker 1: to you so? Far Caleb, WILLIAMS.
- 22:16Speaker 2: I think he's. Improving the thing About williams is he's
- 22:21Speaker 2: there's some good and there's some. Bad the good is really.
- 22:24Speaker 2: GOOD i mean he throws the ball exceptionally. Well they
- 22:27Speaker 2: work the middle of the. Field it's A Ben johnson.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Offense think about the way for Years Jared goff would
- 22:32Speaker 2: work the middle of the. Field that's foundationally what they.
- 22:35Speaker 2: DO i would say that his ball placement is something
- 22:39Speaker 2: that must continue to get. Better it's one reason he's
- 22:42Speaker 2: below sixty. Percent even though he does not turn the
- 22:45Speaker 2: ball over much like much Like Jalen, hurts he doesn't
- 22:48Speaker 2: throw many interceptions every once in a while and it's getting.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Better he still gets into that mode where he just
- 22:56Speaker 2: doesn't look like he has any clarity and he moves
- 22:59Speaker 2: around with seemingly no control and no. Calculation but he
- 23:04Speaker 2: did less of that this past week against The. Steelers
- 23:08Speaker 2: but you, know he's he's a very physical. Guy sometimes
- 23:12Speaker 2: he's tough to bring. Down they're gonna have to get
- 23:14Speaker 2: pressure on. Him if they don't get pressure on, him
- 23:17Speaker 2: and with playing backup safeties and uncertainty at the corner Opposite,
- 23:21Speaker 2: Mitchell i'm not, Look i'm not gonna see here and
- 23:23Speaker 2: make a. Prediction i'm just saying that that would put
- 23:26Speaker 2: them in potentially a touch.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Situation to, me, vix because you're gonna because he did
- 23:31Speaker 1: until This dallas game when when he wasn't get a pass,
- 23:34Speaker 1: rush he would, blitz he's not doing. It he didn't
- 23:36Speaker 1: do it and, enough and that that to me was. Surprising. Now,
- 23:41Speaker 1: also one other thing, is, folks they have a deep
- 23:43Speaker 1: pass starget.
- 23:44Speaker 2: GROUP i was just gonna say. That and the guy
- 23:47Speaker 2: who's coming on with the rookie burden and starting to
- 23:49Speaker 2: get more and more snaps and he's very.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Explosive burden is the second round From. Missouri they got
- 23:54Speaker 1: two other starters were, fantastic the two tight. Ends how's
- 23:57Speaker 1: there a line holding up so?
- 23:58Speaker 2: Far you know, what it's been pretty. Good and this
- 24:01Speaker 2: was this past week was the first start For Ozzie,
- 24:03Speaker 2: trapillo their second round pick From Boston. College he held
- 24:06Speaker 2: up very well against a team that can rush the
- 24:08Speaker 2: quarterback AND i liked him a. Lot but you're, right
- 24:12Speaker 2: the tight Ends loveland is and we'll get into more
- 24:15Speaker 2: detail when we do the pre, game but he's a,
- 24:17Speaker 2: big big factor in their. Offense all, right That's Greg.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Cosell you've been Watching inside The tape With Greg. Cosell
- 24:23Speaker 2: we'll speak to you.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Soon
