- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod with Teddy Melon Can't and
- 0:05Speaker 1: camera Judge. All right, here we are to cheese and
- 0:15Speaker 1: a pod with myself and Tamera and one of our
- 0:20Speaker 1: favorites with me. How's it going, Hi, it's going so well.
- 0:24Speaker 1: I'm actually in your neck of the woods down in
- 0:26Speaker 1: Sacramony right now. You are, You're like probably ten minutes
- 0:29Speaker 1: from my house. Well, why am I not at your house? Well?
- 0:33Speaker 1: I don't know. Why are you at my house? Because
- 0:35Speaker 1: you have somewhere else to go today? Yes, I'm going
- 0:37Speaker 1: to Disneyland today. It is not my happiest place on Earth.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I hate Disney. It will be nice, though, because it's
- 0:44Speaker 1: not gonna be that hot today, I don't think. Yeah
- 0:47Speaker 1: it is. It is a beautiful last last week was
- 0:50Speaker 1: ninety so oh yeah, they're still You're lucky. Did you
- 0:54Speaker 1: um get a guide? A guide? Yeah? You can? You
- 1:00Speaker 1: and hire a guy with no Clark is my good? Yeah?
- 1:06Speaker 1: Clark is taking our kids and I'm sitting at the
- 1:09Speaker 1: wine bar. Oh, so you're going to go to California adventure?
- 1:12Speaker 1: Well and exciting news. This episode is sponsored by twenty
- 1:16Speaker 1: three and me Um, and throughout this entire episode, we
- 1:20Speaker 1: will be sharing our results. And I have to say
- 1:23Speaker 1: thank you to Whitney for holding me accountable to actually
- 1:26Speaker 1: getting this done, because last time she was on the pod,
- 1:30Speaker 1: we talked about doing a twenty three and me and
- 1:33Speaker 1: we were both like, no, no, I feel scared, and
- 1:37Speaker 1: now more than ever now that I've done it, and
- 1:39Speaker 1: especially everything that's been going on with my melanoma results.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I think that a lot of us have done three
- 1:46Speaker 1: and me because of ancestry and wanting to know like
- 1:48Speaker 1: who were related to or how Whitney was related to
- 1:53Speaker 1: Heather and whatnot, but which I wanted if it shows
- 1:56Speaker 1: up on your twenty three and me. But for me,
- 1:58Speaker 1: the health is such an important thing that you can
- 2:01Speaker 1: learn through twenty three and me. I even spoke to
- 2:03Speaker 1: my doctor about it, and he said, this is changing
- 2:05Speaker 1: the game because you will know about your genetic disposition.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Like even for me, when I pull up my health
- 2:11Speaker 1: highlights and I go to skin cancer, it says melanoma
- 2:15Speaker 1: increased likelihood. Yeah, so what did you say that as well? Yes,
- 2:20Speaker 1: so we did both Eddie and I did three Me
- 2:24Speaker 1: on camera. I don't think it ever aired, but it
- 2:26Speaker 1: was probably about five years ago, and um it was
- 2:29Speaker 1: right after his friend had had a heart attack at
- 2:31Speaker 1: so we wanted to know health wise. I didn't really
- 2:34Speaker 1: care too much about family members, but I did. I
- 2:39Speaker 1: found out that I was prone to type two diabetes,
- 2:42Speaker 1: which I am on met form and now because my
- 2:45Speaker 1: insolent resistant um hereditary hemochromatosis, and I have one of
- 2:50Speaker 1: the variants, and to have it you have to have
- 2:53Speaker 1: both variants from the father and the mother. My father
- 2:55Speaker 1: has it, and my son Ryan has hemochromatosis and probably
- 3:00Speaker 1: pretty much guaranteed that my son Spencer has too, he
- 3:05Speaker 1: hasn't been tested yet. And then also macular degeneration, so
- 3:09Speaker 1: my mom has it. I have one of the variants,
- 3:12Speaker 1: but you need both, I believe to actually get it.
- 3:15Speaker 1: So okay, so I have a question, but I'm curious
- 3:18Speaker 1: for you, Whitney. In your ancestry report, did it actually
- 3:22Speaker 1: say that Heather is your second cousin? Okay, well, I don't.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I don't see Heather in here because I don't think
- 3:29Speaker 1: she's done it, So you have to excu have downloaded
- 3:34Speaker 1: the app. But um, if Heather were to do it,
- 3:37Speaker 1: she for sure would be my second cousin once removed.
- 3:42Speaker 1: It's our great grandparents that were siblings. Okay, so my
- 3:47Speaker 1: great grandfather and her great grandmother. We're brother and sister.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Oh yes, I mean some of some of this. The
- 3:55Speaker 1: traits are like absolutely mind blowing, like do you have earwax?
- 3:58Speaker 1: What type tis I color? You know? Do you have
- 4:02Speaker 1: a cleft chin? Or Dan druff? Well in my health
- 4:06Speaker 1: and traits like it is funny because it tells me like, um,
- 4:09Speaker 1: really funny things. Now I'm out of it, but it's
- 4:12Speaker 1: like pretty um sensitive to the smell of asparagus, like
- 4:17Speaker 1: funny stuff like that, like down to details. And one
- 4:22Speaker 1: that was interesting to me is I don't get great sleep.
- 4:26Speaker 1: And it says that I'm most likely to not be
- 4:29Speaker 1: a deep sleeper and then likely to consume a lot
- 4:33Speaker 1: of caffeine. And I literally one of my worst habits
- 4:36Speaker 1: is energy drinks, Like I have one right now? Oh no, yeah,
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm happy to say the chance that I do not
- 4:45Speaker 1: have Dan druff? Oh do you have Dan dreff? No?
- 4:50Speaker 1: I like this one. It says that I my muscle
- 4:53Speaker 1: composition um common to be an elite athlete. That's a
- 4:58Speaker 1: good one to have. I think mine was the opposite.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I remember reading that I'm gonna look for that one.
- 5:04Speaker 1: And most most likely to have bunian's cheek dimples. Oh
- 5:08Speaker 1: a cleft chin? Is that this little dimple? Yeah? Yeah yeah?
- 5:14Speaker 1: Isn't this crazy? It is crazy? So I like the
- 5:18Speaker 1: newborn hair. So chance you had little to no hair.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I had no hair until I was three. Oh yeah,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and were you a toehead? Yes, yes, yes, yes, I'm
- 5:28Speaker 1: chance to have freckles, which I do have freckles. It's
- 5:32Speaker 1: just so bizarre. Like finger some of this stuff is
- 5:35Speaker 1: like do you really need to know it? But it's
- 5:36Speaker 1: it's interesting. Finger length ratio chance to your index finger
- 5:42Speaker 1: is longer than your ring finger, Like, how do they
- 5:44Speaker 1: know this? It's crazy? It's crazy. Oh, I found I
- 5:47Speaker 1: found where you are so damn Jeff, I'm like, well,
- 5:55Speaker 1: ear wax, I'm ninety three percent chance you have wet,
- 5:58Speaker 1: sticky ear wax as my ear plugs keep falling out
- 6:02Speaker 1: of my head. We're just talking about traits. Yeah, found
- 6:06Speaker 1: where the traits were. That these are physical traits. They
- 6:09Speaker 1: have taste and smell and weird and wonderful. What is
- 6:13Speaker 1: under weird and wonderful? Oh the Bunyan's. I am more
- 6:16Speaker 1: likely than average to have a bunyon and I do
- 6:19Speaker 1: fear of heights, noop, fear of speed. Public speaking, I
- 6:23Speaker 1: do have a fear Yeah, me too. What about ear
- 6:26Speaker 1: lobe type detached earlobes are attached. I'm ages a chance
- 6:33Speaker 1: to have detached earlobes, which I do. And what color
- 6:36Speaker 1: are you? Brown? Eyes? Brown? Yeah? Brown? Yeah, they all
- 6:40Speaker 1: fall under the brown. Hazel light hazel light brown. Okay.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Mosquito bite frequency. I get eaten alive and it is
- 6:49Speaker 1: lightly likely bitten as often as others. So I was
- 6:54Speaker 1: really interested, obviously because I had shared with you both
- 6:58Speaker 1: that I thought I was half German. But then I
- 7:02Speaker 1: found out that my grandparents were both foster children and
- 7:05Speaker 1: adopted right. So, and I even got a tattoo in
- 7:09Speaker 1: German for my grandparents. Yeah. And it was really interesting
- 7:13Speaker 1: because I had a red head, so I was like, well,
- 7:16Speaker 1: I have to have Irish, your Scottish. Yeah, So when
- 7:21Speaker 1: we get to the part of our ancestry, it was
- 7:23Speaker 1: really interesting to break it down. It makes sense because
- 7:27Speaker 1: when you're do you have you see in your traits
- 7:29Speaker 1: the likelihood to have red hair minus five percent? Oh yeah,
- 7:35Speaker 1: chance not to have red hair. So I had a
- 7:37Speaker 1: six percent chance of having red hair. I am sixty
- 7:40Speaker 1: chance you have stretched marks. I got. I got a
- 7:43Speaker 1: few from being pregnant. But can you imagine how many
- 7:46Speaker 1: people find out that this is like not there, Like
- 7:49Speaker 1: that's not my dad, that's not my mom, like things
- 7:52Speaker 1: like that. So I have a crazy story. Do you
- 7:54Speaker 1: want to hear it about my friends? So he did
- 7:58Speaker 1: twenty three and me his dad, his parents are divorced.
- 8:02Speaker 1: He did twenty three and me and found out that
- 8:05Speaker 1: he had there's like a strong chance that he had
- 8:07Speaker 1: a sibling, like a relative. Okay, so he connected. He
- 8:11Speaker 1: kind of left it there. He got a call one
- 8:13Speaker 1: day from this woman named Joey. She actually lives down
- 8:15Speaker 1: here in Osi. He lives in Utah, and said, I
- 8:19Speaker 1: found out through my aunt's that you're my half brother,
- 8:22Speaker 1: because she had she had had made the connection with him,
- 8:26Speaker 1: because I guess you don't know when you connect with
- 8:29Speaker 1: a relative, they don't know if it's an aunt and uncle,
- 8:32Speaker 1: a brother, a sister, a cousin. So you have to
- 8:35Speaker 1: like kind of dive in and do your family research
- 8:37Speaker 1: on it. So she talked to her mom about it,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and turns out her mom couldn't get pregnant with her dad.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Her her who she thinks is her dad. So her
- 8:47Speaker 1: mom had slept with this guy for one one time.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Happens to be my my friend's dad, who at this
- 8:56Speaker 1: time is like, lives up in Montana and is in
- 8:59Speaker 1: a biker has nothing to do more and it's just
- 9:03Speaker 1: like this crazy story. So they connected their half siblings
- 9:06Speaker 1: and she had to sit down with who she thought
- 9:10Speaker 1: growing up was her father, but really he's not biologically
- 9:14Speaker 1: zero percent chance her father. Oh my god, that's crazy.
- 9:18Speaker 1: They did a whole thing. You see that documentary about
- 9:21Speaker 1: the He was like a doctor, but he was like
- 9:23Speaker 1: a sperm don't donor and he ended up with like
- 9:26Speaker 1: hundreds of kids and somebody found out by one of
- 9:29Speaker 1: these tests that he was a father and no idea.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's crazy, and all these siblings come
- 9:36Speaker 1: together and it's insane. Where are you staying in uh
- 9:49Speaker 1: st form? We are? We rented this the coolest house,
- 9:54Speaker 1: like right on the pier. Oh fun. I'm like, yeah,
- 9:58Speaker 1: it's just an airbnb above one of those little restaurants.
- 10:01Speaker 1: And how long you in town? I leave Thursday. Yeah,
- 10:04Speaker 1: it was nice, Like I got to go sirking with
- 10:07Speaker 1: the kids yesterday. I grew up coming to the speech, Okay,
- 10:12Speaker 1: I would love to meet you. We're leaving tomorrow from trip.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I know like she's probably in coming off of Bravo Con.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I'm still drunk from Bravo Con. I think, oh my god,
- 10:24Speaker 1: I've never consumed that my alcohol in my life. Did
- 10:26Speaker 1: you watch yourself on watch that the Legends ball? No I,
- 10:31Speaker 1: I have anxiety, drunk anxiety, like they just sat on
- 10:34Speaker 1: watching happens life. I just heard that the three drunk
- 10:37Speaker 1: is people were me, Joe Gorga, Brandy and somebody else.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'm like, great, But when you would tore up the
- 10:45Speaker 1: friendship note, where do you remember that moment? Because it
- 10:48Speaker 1: was one of camera's and my favorite your face that
- 10:51Speaker 1: you made directly at the camera, and I just needs
- 10:54Speaker 1: to know if you were connizant at that moment or
- 10:57Speaker 1: you were blacked out. No I, I one remember tearing
- 11:02Speaker 1: up the friendship card. Because here's the thing is, we
- 11:07Speaker 1: only see a small portion of what happened that night,
- 11:11Speaker 1: right and there was it was really frustrating because one
- 11:17Speaker 1: I was just telling time of this one. I probably
- 11:19Speaker 1: shouldn't have been on the trip with everything that I
- 11:21Speaker 1: was going through. I probably should have just stayed home.
- 11:23Speaker 1: But I really wanted to meet up with my brother
- 11:26Speaker 1: and sister UM. And two, I definitely should not have
- 11:30Speaker 1: been drinking alcohol with the amount of pain and how
- 11:35Speaker 1: much I was hurting, right, Like, trauma and alcohol are
- 11:38Speaker 1: the perfect disaster waiting to happen. But the friendship card
- 11:43Speaker 1: was like because I had forgotten. What I forgot was
- 11:47Speaker 1: that Heather said you lost me forever, bitch. That's what
- 11:51Speaker 1: I forgot. And that's because there was more said and
- 11:55Speaker 1: more done and no one was taking accountability. And I'm
- 11:59Speaker 1: always the mess one, but I tell the truth. I
- 12:01Speaker 1: may not deliver it at the right time or in
- 12:04Speaker 1: the right place. That's like, that's what these trips are. Though,
- 12:08Speaker 1: like your day drinking night drinking, it's very tense. I
- 12:11Speaker 1: was just getting really sick of Meredith Um not budging
- 12:16Speaker 1: on forgiving Lisa, like we're she's still bringing stuff up
- 12:19Speaker 1: from years ago, and I was just like, enough is enough.
- 12:22Speaker 1: But I do remember ripping up the card. I don't
- 12:24Speaker 1: remember everything that Heather said to me, and I wish
- 12:29Speaker 1: I did, because it would have I would have just
- 12:32Speaker 1: stopped it right there. I would have been like, she
- 12:34Speaker 1: doesn't like she's done, I'll be done. Does that make
- 12:37Speaker 1: sense I want to have chased her ask for like
- 12:40Speaker 1: weeks and weeks and you think, do you think she
- 12:42Speaker 1: was as intoxicated as you were at the time? Absolutely?
- 12:47Speaker 1: I think that we both don't remember. I didn't remember
- 12:49Speaker 1: the full fight. And that's why it's probably gonna look
- 12:52Speaker 1: kind of confusing for a minute, because we're both piecing
- 12:55Speaker 1: it together. Um, because you know how this works, Like
- 12:58Speaker 1: you don't watch the footage when you're doing your confessionals.
- 13:01Speaker 1: You go off of your memory, right, So, um, and
- 13:06Speaker 1: what the other women tell you, she was just as
- 13:08Speaker 1: intoxicated as I was, Like I just unfortunately am sloppier. Well,
- 13:16Speaker 1: speaking of bad behavior, we have some questions, Um, who
- 13:20Speaker 1: do you think what housewife at Bravo con behave the worst?
- 13:24Speaker 1: In what way? Like drunk way or anyway? Who who
- 13:29Speaker 1: was the rudest to you or who dismissive or just well,
- 13:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna say Heather Gay because she lied to everyone
- 13:39Speaker 1: on stage in front of me. She was gaslighting me
- 13:43Speaker 1: and manipulating the audience. Like I had people coming up
- 13:47Speaker 1: to me, like fans telling me what Heather was staying
- 13:50Speaker 1: to them and it wasn't polite, and it was like
- 13:54Speaker 1: and you have to keep in mind. Heather and I
- 13:56Speaker 1: went on girls trip together and I, without spilling what happens,
- 14:01Speaker 1: like there was a point of resolution, major resolution, and
- 14:06Speaker 1: so I'm sitting here like was that? And so what
- 14:11Speaker 1: she said on stage was that I reached for I
- 14:13Speaker 1: reached the hardest, and I'm like, okay, you had a
- 14:17Speaker 1: fake makeup with me, like the you're the one who
- 14:20Speaker 1: reaches for everything. So I don't know. I was most
- 14:24Speaker 1: disappointed and let down by Heather Gay Um. Brandy Glanville
- 14:28Speaker 1: was so drunk though. He introduced herself to me like
- 14:34Speaker 1: three times, and I was like, Brandy already met you,
- 14:39Speaker 1: So no one, no one was rude though I had
- 14:42Speaker 1: um I thought like Larsa from Miami snubb me. But
- 14:47Speaker 1: then she she didn't realize that she's super quiet though. Yeah,
- 14:52Speaker 1: and she she apologized that she m did an Instagram
- 14:56Speaker 1: story and I said, no, no worries, babe, cheers like
- 14:59Speaker 1: I really every and treated me pretty well. I have
- 15:01Speaker 1: to say who was Justin's favorite. Justin hung out every
- 15:07Speaker 1: night with um, you know Bali from Family Karma, her
- 15:12Speaker 1: boy yelly. Oh yeah, we really hit it off with
- 15:16Speaker 1: like Family Karma people. It was. It was really cool.
- 15:20Speaker 1: We saw we saw Tamra a couple of times too
- 15:23Speaker 1: in the oh yeah, in the meet and great areas.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I mean, who didn't see tam TAM's the life of
- 15:29Speaker 1: every party. I'm not drinking anymore, do you know what
- 15:35Speaker 1: I have to say? Like, I love consistent people like
- 15:40Speaker 1: you are consistently you and that that is like the
- 15:44Speaker 1: biggest compliment I think, even even when you know we
- 15:50Speaker 1: don't like how we're behaving, at least we're I can
- 15:54Speaker 1: watch you on the show this season the first couple
- 15:56Speaker 1: episodes ago. Yep, that's gonna be me this season. And
- 16:00Speaker 1: I tell you, I said, I got you back, thank you,
- 16:03Speaker 1: totally relate to you. Yes, well, listen, I haven't been
- 16:07Speaker 1: on I've been not on social media since Bravo Con
- 16:12Speaker 1: just because you know, when I don't know, the audience
- 16:15Speaker 1: was attacking me. So I'm like, I don't need to
- 16:16Speaker 1: be on Instagram. Yeah, stay really present with my kids,
- 16:21Speaker 1: whether on fall break, Yeah, it's the best thing. That's
- 16:25Speaker 1: why I'm going to do that on the show. Airs.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I'm just gonna yeah, I am I yep. Um. So
- 16:31Speaker 1: the next question for both of you guys, they want
- 16:34Speaker 1: to know if you guys could switch off your current
- 16:37Speaker 1: franchise onto another. What if I was not to say
- 16:41Speaker 1: Town City, what would it be New Jersey. Yeah, I
- 16:46Speaker 1: was gonna say New Jersey too. Now that everyone, I'm like,
- 16:50Speaker 1: I love Jersey. I love Potomac too, Like I just
- 16:53Speaker 1: love how real they are, Like they don't let anything by,
- 16:58Speaker 1: like everyone says, says it how it is. I like Jersey.
- 17:02Speaker 1: They fight dirty, and I have that in me, so
- 17:05Speaker 1: I think right in, Oh, I'm still building up to that.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I don't like i'd like to, but I mean my
- 17:12Speaker 1: mouth goes there easy and then and then they get
- 17:15Speaker 1: over it super easy. I'm like that too, Like I
- 17:16Speaker 1: will say whatever, and then I'm like, Okay, you're good. Yeah,
- 17:19Speaker 1: we're good. I was gonna say. One of the only
- 17:21Speaker 1: housewives I never spoke to or never spoke to me
- 17:25Speaker 1: either at Bravo Con was Meredith. Did you ever speak
- 17:28Speaker 1: to her camera? I did? I did. I was in
- 17:31Speaker 1: a meet and greet and She's just like, Hi, how
- 17:34Speaker 1: are you nice to meet you? That was it her
- 17:36Speaker 1: and her son? That was it? That That sounded like
- 17:38Speaker 1: a big bag opperst right there. I mean it was
- 17:41Speaker 1: just like a very brief took a picture together that
- 17:46Speaker 1: it sounds like Meredith didn't say much. Next question for
- 17:52Speaker 1: both of you guys, who do you think the bigger
- 17:53Speaker 1: bone collector the two of us? Oh? Weit. What's a
- 17:59Speaker 1: bone lector? Like you get stories, you repeat them, You're
- 18:03Speaker 1: like picking up all the excess bones. Yeah, like you're
- 18:06Speaker 1: you're gonna make sure nothing's left off the table. Oh.
- 18:10Speaker 1: I used to be like that hardcore. I'm not like
- 18:14Speaker 1: that as much anymore. Yeah, so I probably am right now,
- 18:17Speaker 1: but um, because I get frustrated when people say one
- 18:22Speaker 1: thing when cameras are rolling and then another when they're
- 18:25Speaker 1: not rolling. Ok So that's why everyone's upset with me
- 18:29Speaker 1: right now, is because I'm like, oh no, no, no,
- 18:30Speaker 1: no no. If you're gonna drive, if you're gonna plant
- 18:33Speaker 1: the seed, you're gonna you're gonna participate in watering it. Yeah,
- 18:36Speaker 1: you're gonna follow through because I'm I'm done being the
- 18:41Speaker 1: bone Okay, favorite memory from Salt Lake City so far?
- 18:49Speaker 1: Your favorite? We talk a lot about the negatives, but like,
- 18:52Speaker 1: what is the best part? Oh, right now that that
- 18:55Speaker 1: is so hard to even um, I would say so far, Like,
- 19:02Speaker 1: but that's not a Salt Lake City moment. Um. I
- 19:04Speaker 1: loved racing the exotic cars, like when we got to
- 19:09Speaker 1: drive the Lamborghinis and Ferraris. That was a pretty cool
- 19:13Speaker 1: moment um. Other than that, Salt Lake City has been
- 19:16Speaker 1: pretty like heavy. Yeah, listen for you, tam Um. Were
- 19:21Speaker 1: you surprised with your return to real house Lives? Orange
- 19:26Speaker 1: County Guys? For the record, these are all fam questions.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I'm just reading them off the list. Okay. Was I
- 19:31Speaker 1: surprised to be asked back? Ye? Um? Well, Annie had
- 19:34Speaker 1: told me that, uh, you know, when I got let go,
- 19:38Speaker 1: like just stay still, You're gonna be back, trust me.
- 19:41Speaker 1: And when year went by and I didn't come back,
- 19:44Speaker 1: and then the second year went by, and I'm like,
- 19:45Speaker 1: are you freaking kidding me? So I kind of just
- 19:48Speaker 1: gave up on it and stopped thinking about it. And
- 19:50Speaker 1: when that happened, that's when I got asked back. Had
- 19:53Speaker 1: I known that it was like a two year break,
- 19:54Speaker 1: I would have taken like enjoyed it, yeah, instead of
- 19:58Speaker 1: like like being upset and stressed and like oh fell
- 20:02Speaker 1: and left out and all that stuff. It is so
- 20:05Speaker 1: interesting how how hard it is, but how much you
- 20:09Speaker 1: still want to be a part of it, you know
- 20:10Speaker 1: what I mean? Like well, I thought, like after twelve
- 20:12Speaker 1: years straight, I'm like, oh, I just don't want to
- 20:14Speaker 1: do this anymore. It's hard after a while, Like my
- 20:18Speaker 1: kids were little, they've grown up, most of them only
- 20:21Speaker 1: have one at home now, and I'm like, I just
- 20:23Speaker 1: there's a time where I just want to like not
- 20:25Speaker 1: do anything and not be so busy. And now coming back,
- 20:28Speaker 1: like the hardest part for me is like I'm so
- 20:31Speaker 1: busy now, Like you don't have that time to just
- 20:34Speaker 1: sit at home and enjoy your kids as much as
- 20:37Speaker 1: you normally do or your husband. It's like, go, go,
- 20:39Speaker 1: go all the time. I also think there's personality types
- 20:44Speaker 1: that even when you have the time to be more relaxed,
- 20:49Speaker 1: you're still like you're always going to be hustling and
- 20:51Speaker 1: one capacity or well that's me. That is definitely me.
- 20:53Speaker 1: And Edie said, He's like, you're way better person when
- 20:56Speaker 1: you're busy all the time, because like my mind gets
- 20:58Speaker 1: a little destructive if I'm not super busy. So Teddy
- 21:02Speaker 1: I was. I just wanted to check in with you
- 21:04Speaker 1: about your melanoma because, uh, my dad actually had stage
- 21:10Speaker 1: four melanoma and battled it for a couple of years.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Um had to have some major surgeries, like he had
- 21:17Speaker 1: to have his was on his head and he had
- 21:19Speaker 1: to have it um cut all the way down and
- 21:23Speaker 1: ship all the limbs notes out of this side of
- 21:25Speaker 1: his body. Um, and he did radiation and interfere on
- 21:31Speaker 1: and so I just like I wanted to talk to
- 21:33Speaker 1: you about your melanoma, like how are you doing? You know,
- 21:36Speaker 1: the next stage after the surgery is the genetic testing
- 21:41Speaker 1: the genetic components, you know, which obviously we found out
- 21:45Speaker 1: on twenty three and me, but did your dad do
- 21:47Speaker 1: any sort of Uh did he meet with a geneticist
- 21:51Speaker 1: after he ended up having to get all those removals.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I don't think he did. Um. This was back when
- 21:59Speaker 1: I was eighteen and I'm thirty six now, so I
- 22:04Speaker 1: don't think that he did any genetic testing. No, I'm
- 22:08Speaker 1: not sure about that. But I do know that he
- 22:10Speaker 1: was in and out of the doctor's offices, like they
- 22:13Speaker 1: took they scanned him like once a month for a year,
- 22:16Speaker 1: and then they'd move it to like three months, six months.
- 22:18Speaker 1: So I know that whatever he was doing there, watching
- 22:21Speaker 1: it very closely. Afterwards, Well, for me, it's you know,
- 22:25Speaker 1: the surgery and then when I'm in the surgery, they will,
- 22:30Speaker 1: um also check all the lymph nodes, and then once
- 22:33Speaker 1: we get through that part, then we decide if there's immunotherapy.
- 22:37Speaker 1: And then the next big thing is they said, because
- 22:39Speaker 1: I am predisposed, which is why something like A twenty
- 22:42Speaker 1: three and me is so you know, it will continue
- 22:46Speaker 1: to help and change, you know, the for us to
- 22:50Speaker 1: know beforehand, before even a skin check that we are
- 22:53Speaker 1: you know, at risk. But they think that there's something else,
- 22:56Speaker 1: so that's where they'll then check me for the braka
- 23:00Speaker 1: too and everything else because they're like the fact that
- 23:04Speaker 1: you have so many melanoma shows that this is also
- 23:09Speaker 1: probably coming from from somewhere else. Um, But it does
- 23:12Speaker 1: say it also not only does it help you with
- 23:15Speaker 1: your health, and also, like it says Teddy, your genetic
- 23:18Speaker 1: result is associated with a typical likelihood of being diagnosed
- 23:21Speaker 1: with anxiety, and like you know how anxious I am,
- 23:24Speaker 1: Like I've been diagnosed by doctor with anxiety. So it's
- 23:27Speaker 1: just it really it's I can't recommend this enough, mainly
- 23:32Speaker 1: even just for the health aspect and then also for
- 23:37Speaker 1: peace of mind. I did see that I'm related to
- 23:38Speaker 1: my brother. I now it relates to my brother. I'm
- 23:46Speaker 1: like Hey, buddy, Yeah, I saw that. That's funny for me. Um,
- 23:52Speaker 1: I was so excited after I got my test results
- 23:55Speaker 1: back and looking over everything. And I do a lot
- 23:58Speaker 1: of the testing to like. Um, They'll send me things
- 24:02Speaker 1: to fill out, like questionnaires to fill out, and I
- 24:05Speaker 1: always do it. I ended up buying them for family
- 24:08Speaker 1: members for Christmas presents. Oh that's smart. Yeah, it's really smart.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I feel like everyone in Utah needs it before they
- 24:15Speaker 1: start dating. Yeah, that's a good idea. Most of Utah
- 24:21Speaker 1: comes from Mormon pioneers, so you want to make sure
- 24:24Speaker 1: you're a couple of generations out of the dating pool, right, Yeah,
- 24:30Speaker 1: I mean especially with that group, So I think, you know,
- 24:34Speaker 1: we could. We got to say thank you guys so
- 24:36Speaker 1: much for tuning into this special episode of two Teas
- 24:39Speaker 1: in a Pod, all thanks to twenty three and Me.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Please visit twenty three and me dot com to purchase
- 24:44Speaker 1: your own tests and be on the path to help.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Such a great gift idea. It's awesome to do as
- 24:51Speaker 1: a family and kind of look through your health and
- 24:53Speaker 1: see what it is that you can be aware of
- 24:56Speaker 1: and what you need to stay on top of. You know,
- 24:58Speaker 1: it really made it so simple you guys to like,
- 25:01Speaker 1: how easy was it to take this side? It was
- 25:03Speaker 1: so easy. Yeah. It really clears things up, and you know,
- 25:07Speaker 1: the things you can learn can be totally life changing. Yeah. Well,
- 25:11Speaker 1: I love it, you guys, And then Um Whitney keep
- 25:15Speaker 1: us entertained throughout this season, and then once Sam starts airing,
- 25:18Speaker 1: you're gonna have to come on and recap O see
- 25:21Speaker 1: with me, Um, because we know that's gonna be a
- 25:24Speaker 1: whole different level of ship show. And I'm gonna need
- 25:26Speaker 1: another bone collector to help me do it. I'm here
- 25:29Speaker 1: for you, girl, I'm scared. Also, I am I'm launching
- 25:33Speaker 1: a podcast, wild Rose Podcast, So I would love to
- 25:37Speaker 1: be a bone collector with you, Teddy. Yes, perfect, It's
- 25:42Speaker 1: just about telling the truth, unfiltered, uncensored. Do you have
- 25:46Speaker 1: a co host you're doing alone? Um? One of my
- 25:49Speaker 1: best friends is co hosting with me. But I don't
- 25:52Speaker 1: necessarily want it to be housewife only, like I want
- 25:55Speaker 1: to dive into the layers of me that we never
- 25:58Speaker 1: get to on the show. Is the friend Angie Harrington, No,
- 26:05Speaker 1: she's got a friend. We can probably guess. It's not Heather. No,
- 26:12Speaker 1: it's not Heather. Her name is Connie Daniels. She came
- 26:15Speaker 1: to Bravo con and she's in a lot of scenes
- 26:17Speaker 1: in the background. She's like been the most supportive friend
- 26:22Speaker 1: throughout this process to me, Like she hasn't nothing's changed,
- 26:26Speaker 1: like she and she doesn't want the spotlight, so she
- 26:28Speaker 1: just like cheers me on and has my back. You know.
- 26:31Speaker 1: It's like she's a really good friends. We congratulations, congratulations.
- 26:37Speaker 1: We can't wait to hear it. Hey, yeah, thank you,
- 26:41Speaker 1: all right, bye guy,
