- 0:23Speaker 2: WBCB and one O seven three FM and scene live

- 0:34Speaker 2: Inside the Birds and greeting us with his presence former
- 0:37Speaker 2: Eagles wide receiver Jason evont. They want to know if
- 0:44Speaker 2: you could suit up and play Thursday night against the Giants.
- 0:47Speaker 3: My friend, No, I can't. No, you can't too. Oh,
- 0:49Speaker 3: I can talk about the game, though you.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Can't talk about the game. Well, that's why we brought
- 0:53Speaker 2: you in. Great to see you, you too, buddy. Awesome
- 0:56Speaker 2: to have you here. And it's probably pretty fitting that
- 0:59Speaker 2: we got him here year a week not only after
- 1:02Speaker 2: the Eagles lose, but once again, the passing offense is
- 1:05Speaker 2: something that I think we need you to take a
- 1:08Speaker 2: scalpel and a four steps two with us, because obviously
- 1:11Speaker 2: it's been a big story and it's been a disappointment
- 1:15Speaker 2: to say through five weeks of the season, would you
- 1:17Speaker 2: fairly call it that.
- 1:19Speaker 3: I would say that this has been a work in progress.
- 1:21Speaker 3: The disappointment is another way of saying that. But it's
- 1:23Speaker 3: a work in progress, and you expect some small bumps
- 1:27Speaker 3: because this new offensive coordinator. You don't expect it to
- 1:30Speaker 3: be so drastic with so much talent on the team.
- 1:33Speaker 3: But remember we're thinking about yesterday's success and today's success.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Won't you know, yesterday's sex won't hope today. So the
- 1:42Speaker 3: offensive line is the biggest thing that I think that
- 1:44Speaker 3: contributes to the passing game. If you are not blocking
- 1:48Speaker 3: well or you're not effective in a run game, it's
- 1:51Speaker 3: going to be harder to throw because the lanes are less.
- 1:55Speaker 2: But overall this pass game, I thought that Kevin Toole
- 2:00Speaker 2: call a good game.
- 2:01Speaker 3: And most people don't want to they don't want to
- 2:02Speaker 3: hear that, But I thought he called a really good game.
- 2:04Speaker 3: He married multiple formations and personnel groups. Seventeen yard run
- 2:10Speaker 3: by by Barkley was set up by a deep cross
- 2:12Speaker 3: on that same one and AJ Dillon had a nine
- 2:16Speaker 3: yard run on it, same formation, same side right, so
- 2:19Speaker 3: there was multiple plays out of that formation. That were
- 2:22Speaker 3: successful in the game, and he did that multiple times.
- 2:25Speaker 3: There's guys wide open down the field in this game.
- 2:27Speaker 2: In particular, I would say.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Jalen left probably a good I don't know, seventy five
- 2:32Speaker 3: yards passing more out there besides the one of a J.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Brown.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Right, So there's a bunch of positives from the game
- 2:38Speaker 3: because I thought the passing game was actually there. And
- 2:41Speaker 3: I don't know if it's because we knew that the
- 2:43Speaker 3: Broncos are going to play majority man the man coverage,
- 2:47Speaker 3: but I thought that the scheme he divised.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Some really good play calls.
- 2:50Speaker 3: The one AJ Brown was a great play call, the
- 2:52Speaker 3: one that Smitty was a great play call, the one
- 2:54Speaker 3: that Saquan was an amazing play call.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Play call.
- 2:57Speaker 3: So I thought Kevin Sulo did a good job. Now
- 3:00Speaker 3: yesterday's yesterday. The last four games or so not so much.
- 3:04Speaker 3: But I thought it was a step in the right direction.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Now, while we're on the subject of the passing game, Jason,
- 3:09Speaker 4: I would love to get your opinion on this, because
- 3:11Speaker 4: this has been a play that's been talked about pretty
- 3:13Speaker 4: heavily since Sunday. The deep shot to AJ Brown, to me,
- 3:17Speaker 4: it looked like inability to track the football rather than
- 3:20Speaker 4: maybe slowing up on that what you read on that play.
- 3:24Speaker 3: All right, So here's again to my point, I thought
- 3:27Speaker 3: Kevin Sulot did a good job because Aj Brown has
- 3:29Speaker 3: been stagnant for the first four weeks. This particular game,
- 3:32Speaker 3: he went in motion a lot. He was in different
- 3:35Speaker 3: positions a lot. In this particular play, he was in
- 3:37Speaker 3: the slot. He's not accustomed to doing slot releases. You're
- 3:42Speaker 3: usually releasing against linebackers and or cornerbacks, and you have
- 3:46Speaker 3: to know the coverage more so than when you are
- 3:49Speaker 3: in the outside. You have to be able to anticipate
- 3:52Speaker 3: with the guy's responsibility is.
- 3:54Speaker 2: In front of you.
- 3:55Speaker 3: So AJ Brown as a novice in the slot, they
- 3:59Speaker 3: were in a certain coverage and he went straight ahead
- 4:02Speaker 3: and he got rerouted like four yards inside. That was
- 4:06Speaker 3: like the biggest part of the play. But if he knows,
- 4:10Speaker 3: if he knows that that defender is a hook curl defender,
- 4:15Speaker 3: if you stem outside to start, he has to honor
- 4:19Speaker 3: his levers and now you open, he opens the door
- 4:21Speaker 3: for you. And he didn't know that because he's not
- 4:23Speaker 3: in the slot right So once he gets to the safety,
- 4:27Speaker 3: he's already he already spent his time of route running
- 4:33Speaker 3: because he got rerouted.
- 4:34Speaker 2: He didn't have time.
- 4:35Speaker 3: To work a move on the safety, and when he
- 4:37Speaker 3: got to the safety, he sticks him and then doesn't
- 4:41Speaker 3: move on him. Jalen's clock is like, dude, I gotta
- 4:43Speaker 3: get this ball up. I gotta get this ball up.
- 4:45Speaker 3: If Aj was just stayed straight, it would have been
- 4:48Speaker 3: like a fifty to fifty contest. He did a move,
- 4:51Speaker 3: Jalen overthrows him, but that started at the line of scrimmage,
- 4:54Speaker 3: and yes, his clock went off because his time was
- 4:57Speaker 3: spent at the line. And then he did another mo
- 5:00Speaker 3: which was totally outside the framework and something that they've
- 5:03Speaker 3: never practiced before. So it's more so route running technique
- 5:07Speaker 3: from the slot when you're outside receiver.
- 5:09Speaker 2: So that really throws cold water on the idea that
- 5:11Speaker 2: either Aj was dogging it on the route because he
- 5:14Speaker 2: didn't get the ball early, or Jalen overthrew it because
- 5:17Speaker 2: he's not throwing an accurate point.
- 5:19Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, Neither one of those things are
- 5:22Speaker 3: are necessarily true.
- 5:23Speaker 2: I thought I thought Aj should have kept.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Running even even though but it's not something that's familiar
- 5:29Speaker 3: to him because he's not in that position A whole bunch,
- 5:32Speaker 3: and especially when you're time, you don't have the timing
- 5:35Speaker 3: of being in the slot and going against safeties from
- 5:38Speaker 3: that position, right, being seven eight yards inside, then you're
- 5:42Speaker 3: used to you're used to being in I just think
- 5:44Speaker 3: that it's a different, you know, thing for him and
- 5:48Speaker 3: therefore is incompletion. But I thought it was a great
- 5:51Speaker 3: play call.
- 5:52Speaker 2: It was, so so let's attack this. Then from a
- 5:55Speaker 2: big picture standpoint, talked to both of you guys about this,
- 5:58Speaker 2: because Jay, you played here, lived here. You know what
- 6:01Speaker 2: it's like. The Eagles lose one game. The Eagles had
- 6:03Speaker 2: won twenty of twenty one games twenty twenty two. Now,
- 6:08Speaker 2: if you would have asked any Eagle fan twenty four
- 6:10Speaker 2: weeks ago or whatever games ago, hey, would you sign
- 6:13Speaker 2: up for that? They'd say, yeah, give it to me please.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I grew up, and they lost every big game they played.
- 6:17Speaker 2: But you know what it's like these days after a loss,
- 6:20Speaker 2: it's like, not only did they lose, but everything from
- 6:24Speaker 2: weeks one to three to four that didn't look good
- 6:26Speaker 2: get thrown into the fire. Yeah. I don't also want
- 6:29Speaker 2: to ignore though, that there were some things from weeks
- 6:31Speaker 2: one through four don't look good. So when you compare
- 6:34Speaker 2: them at this time last year when they were two
- 6:36Speaker 2: and two and there was a lot of question marks
- 6:38Speaker 2: about the team, and you look at them now at
- 6:40Speaker 2: four and one with some question marks. Are you how
- 6:43Speaker 2: are you feeling about the direction and the trajectory of
- 6:47Speaker 2: the team. I was more worried Lash. I don't know.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I think it's comparable.
- 6:55Speaker 3: The reason is is that you like the defense was
- 6:59Speaker 3: a problem for last year At times offensively we were struggling, but.
- 7:06Speaker 2: I thought that we couldn't really stop.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Anyone, even though we had a close game brus Cleveland
- 7:12Speaker 3: last year.
- 7:13Speaker 2: I think it's different because.
- 7:14Speaker 3: We have a young offensive coordinator and I don't know
- 7:16Speaker 3: if he has the tools at this point, not saying
- 7:19Speaker 3: that he won't, but you're working with the guy that's
- 7:23Speaker 3: learning on the job. And remember twenty twenty three, you
- 7:27Speaker 3: bring in Seane to sigh.
- 7:30Speaker 4: You have Matt Patricia.
- 7:31Speaker 2: You have Matt Patricia.
- 7:32Speaker 3: You have these young guys or new to that position,
- 7:37Speaker 3: and you get into adjustments and you don't know how
- 7:40Speaker 3: to adjust your way out of situations. That's the good
- 7:43Speaker 3: thing about having Kellen Moore, and that's the good thing
- 7:45Speaker 3: about having Vic Fangio. They are able to see everything
- 7:48Speaker 3: and be able to adjust quickly, and we have a
- 7:51Speaker 3: younger guy takes them a little bit longer.
- 7:53Speaker 2: So am I worried? I'm worried more so because the
- 7:56Speaker 2: offensive line isn't playing well.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Guys that we know can play landon Dickerson maybe dealing
- 8:02Speaker 3: with the injury, is not playing well at all. Lane
- 8:06Speaker 3: Johnson is not on the field much. Jordan, my lot
- 8:08Speaker 3: of missus plays. Cam Jurgens is not playing at the
- 8:12Speaker 3: level that he normally does. So I'm worrying more so
- 8:15Speaker 3: about the offensive line because there was multiple plays this
- 8:18Speaker 3: past game where there was a clear running lane, but
- 8:21Speaker 3: there was a guy backside who got beat across their face.
- 8:25Speaker 3: We've been spoiled with Jason kelce at center so much
- 8:28Speaker 3: because if there is an offset meaning that Jason Kelsey's right,
- 8:32Speaker 3: he's at the center, and there's a technique whatever it is,
- 8:35Speaker 3: he's a three technique, whatever it is, he's.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Way outside over the guard somewhere.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Jason Kelcey still can cut that off because he was
- 8:42Speaker 3: so fast.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Yep, Cam Jurgens can't do that right. He needs help.
- 8:46Speaker 3: And when you don't have a guy like Makai Beckton
- 8:50Speaker 3: or whoever, else that can assist, and you have Tyler
- 8:52Speaker 3: Stein that's just working for himself at times. I think
- 8:56Speaker 3: it's a little bit harder. So the offensive line makes
- 8:58Speaker 3: me think that this is only different than last year.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah. Sorry, that was a roundabout all starts, right, Drew
- 9:05Speaker 2: up front and with the running game in the offensive
- 9:07Speaker 2: line and the defensive line. Yeah, but we're talking. Yeah, yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 2: I'm I felt like the defense only let down because
- 9:16Speaker 2: they're on the field so much as opposed to defense.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, and the offensive line, to to Jason's point,
- 9:21Speaker 4: they're gonna take another hit for the next week or two,
- 9:23Speaker 4: presumably with Landon Dickerson likely out this week and maybe
- 9:26Speaker 4: even next. So that's gonna be Brett Toth up at
- 9:29Speaker 4: left guard, So that that's gonna affect a lot of
- 9:31Speaker 4: things as well.
- 9:32Speaker 2: You're you're, You're in the locker room. And I'm curious
- 9:35Speaker 2: because I know Jeff McLean tweeted something from Cam Jurgens. Yeah,
- 9:38Speaker 2: and I didn't know if he sent it to a
- 9:40Speaker 2: packer just Jeff, but he said, hey, he admitted that
- 9:44Speaker 2: having back surgery. He it's not that he's injured, it's
- 9:47Speaker 2: not a re injury, but he's not to the form
- 9:50Speaker 2: that he's ordinarily at. And to Jason's point, when you
- 9:54Speaker 2: combine that with Lane Johnson being in out of the
- 9:56Speaker 2: games and Dickerson clearly not.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Being he had the knee, he had the back, and
- 10:02Speaker 4: now it's the ankle. Tyler Stein's new to the new
- 10:05Speaker 4: on the line this year, so it's fair to have
- 10:08Speaker 4: these questions. And for Cam Jurgens, I think it's worth
- 10:10Speaker 4: mentioning that he had off season back surgery and he
- 10:13Speaker 4: wasn't working in a full capacity in training camp, so
- 10:17Speaker 4: I mean, I guess we should have seen this coming,
- 10:19Speaker 4: but it's it sounds like it's going to be something
- 10:22Speaker 4: that they're gonna have to work through because they don't
- 10:24Speaker 4: have their by week until week nine, so there's not
- 10:26Speaker 4: really an opportunity to press pause. You're gonna have to
- 10:29Speaker 4: keep working through it.
- 10:30Speaker 3: The one thing I'll say too, is that we have
- 10:32Speaker 3: the most predictable snap count. We have the most predictable
- 10:37Speaker 3: snap count is because of the technique of Tyler's theme.
- 10:41Speaker 2: He's this big, tall dude.
- 10:43Speaker 3: That right before the snap he gets down, tap, he taps,
- 10:47Speaker 3: get down the ball to snap.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It's like, because.
- 10:49Speaker 3: He's so obvious, everybody can time that up.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Right, So you as big as he was, did a
- 10:55Speaker 2: better job.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Yeah, because Becton was down in his stance and tapping right.
- 10:59Speaker 3: So it's totally different from a guy being totally upright
- 11:04Speaker 3: getting down tapping in the ball. This snap is so
- 11:06Speaker 3: much easier to see and to be able to anticipate
- 11:09Speaker 3: than a guy being down tapping, And there's some some
- 11:13Speaker 3: some ambiguity there, So I think that I think they
- 11:16Speaker 3: have to clean that up along with the injuries. Right,
- 11:18Speaker 3: But I think that's a huge tale for us and
- 11:21Speaker 3: for people getting off the ball.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Do you think that just coaching for him? Time for
- 11:28Speaker 2: Cam Jurgens Uh. I'd like to say time for Landon Dickerson,
- 11:32Speaker 2: but unfortunately he keeps going. He's a little bit bigger
- 11:35Speaker 2: playing out of it. Looks to me he's bigger than
- 11:37Speaker 2: what he's been. I'm pretty sure on that. I don't
- 11:39Speaker 2: know if time or just an entire next offseason is
- 11:42Speaker 2: going to get it back to form. But is this
- 11:44Speaker 2: sort of your biggest concern about we talk about getting right,
- 11:48Speaker 2: can this unit get right? I don't know, I don't know.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I don't know. Yes, I know that they have the talent, right,
- 11:57Speaker 2: do we have the time this season. That's that's the question.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know that I don't pass
- 12:02Speaker 2: this pass game run.
- 12:04Speaker 3: They've been They've been fined and passed pro pretty much
- 12:07Speaker 3: this whole year.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Four to zero six sacks were on Jalen Hurts.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Yep.
- 12:10Speaker 3: The last two of the game were actually legitimate sacks,
- 12:13Speaker 3: the one from the slot blitz McMillan and the one
- 12:16Speaker 3: where it was Benito and he just collapsed up the
- 12:19Speaker 3: pocket on the last drive. Those two sacks were Jay
- 12:22Speaker 3: were were legit sacks on offensive line.
- 12:24Speaker 2: The rest of them were Jalen taking sacks. What was Jalen's.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Demeanor like, like it always is stoic. Yeah, they know
- 12:32Speaker 4: that they're not playing the standard and he often uses
- 12:34Speaker 4: the word execution as to when he points to the
- 12:37Speaker 4: lapses offensively. But I don't get the sense that Jalen
- 12:41Speaker 4: or really anyone's down necessarily on the offense. They know
- 12:44Speaker 4: that they have the talent there as a collective. It's
- 12:47Speaker 4: just a matter of going out there and executing at
- 12:49Speaker 4: a high level and cleaning up the details. The details
- 12:52Speaker 4: was a buzzword that a lot of players Cooper, Dejen DeVante, Smith,
- 12:56Speaker 4: AJ Brown, Dallas Goddard. They all talked about that after
- 12:59Speaker 4: the game, and they've sort of lost their way there
- 13:01Speaker 4: a little bit, and they're gonna have to hone in on that.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Jason I wrote a story for Philly Voice dot Com
- 13:06Speaker 2: that I almost as I'm writing it, I don't believe
- 13:09Speaker 2: it right, But there's fifty two players in the NFL
- 13:13Speaker 2: that have at least one run of twenty yards and
- 13:16Speaker 2: Saquon Barkley doesn't. And among those fifty two players are
- 13:20Speaker 2: guys like Marcus Mariota, Sam Darnold, Trevor Not Travis Trevor ETN,
- 13:26Speaker 2: Jeremy McNichols, Puka Nikua, Will Shipley, Chris Rodriguez Junior, and
- 13:32Speaker 2: someone I've actually never heard of, Julius Chesnutt, who is
- 13:35Speaker 2: like a four string running back. I mean, that is
- 13:37Speaker 2: amazing to think that fifty two players would have a
- 13:41Speaker 2: longer run than Sequon Barkley this earlier in the year.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I don't know that the egos have lost their identity.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I think they know what they their identity is. I
- 13:49Speaker 2: think they can't get to their identity for all the
- 13:51Speaker 2: reasons we're talking about, Yeah, they just can't.
- 13:53Speaker 3: They don't have the same push up from You gotta
- 13:56Speaker 3: understand something with Saquon. He's been hit in the backfield
- 13:59Speaker 3: all sixty percent of the time. Where he's hit in
- 14:03Speaker 3: the backfield doesn't mean that they tackle him there, but
- 14:06Speaker 3: he's contacted. In comparison to last year when it was
- 14:09Speaker 3: like three or four yards down the field before he
- 14:12Speaker 3: was contacted, the offensive line is not the same as
- 14:15Speaker 3: far as their ability to make make to move people.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Got it all right. I think I've discovered a trend
- 14:22Speaker 2: on how teams are suddenly attacking the Eagles offense that
- 14:26Speaker 2: I want to see if I'm crazy, it's a little
- 14:29Speaker 2: conspiracy theory, or if there's something to it. But we're
- 14:32Speaker 2: gonna do it on the other side of the break.
- 14:33Speaker 2: That's what's known folks as an unbelievable team, that we
- 14:37Speaker 2: do it on the other side of the break.
- 14:39Speaker 5: Sky Motor Cars and West Gust there was a different

- 16:42Speaker 2: That's two one five eight zero six three six eight nine.
- 16:47Speaker 2: We will get to the injury report. The injury report
- 16:49Speaker 2: is not out yet. We've got yesterday's just in case,
- 16:52Speaker 2: but I have a feeling it'll be serting. The Eagles
- 16:54Speaker 2: are practicing a little bit later. But now back to
- 16:56Speaker 2: my conspiracy theory, Jason Eva. Okay, all right, if you
- 17:00Speaker 2: look at Jalen Hurts his numbers against the Blitz this year,
- 17:03Speaker 2: all right, and the past few years, he is one
- 17:06Speaker 2: of the best quarterbacks at beating the Blitz by every
- 17:10Speaker 2: single metric there is. I can bring it up here,
- 17:12Speaker 2: we don't need to. I can just say top yards,
- 17:15Speaker 2: completion percentage, EPA, everything. In the last two games against
- 17:20Speaker 2: the Broncos and the Bucks, they came after him early,
- 17:23Speaker 2: and he was like eighteen of twenty one for one
- 17:26Speaker 2: eighty and two touchdowns against the Blitz. So anybody who's
- 17:29Speaker 2: looking at this going into a game would say, why
- 17:32Speaker 2: am I blitzing Jalen Hurts. There's no reason that he's
- 17:34Speaker 2: gonna kill me. He's gonna pick me apart. Right, Both
- 17:37Speaker 2: teams did it, and then they stopped in the second half.
- 17:42Speaker 2: I had a conversation with Greg co Sell and I said,
- 17:45Speaker 2: they must have got tired of him beating their blitz
- 17:47Speaker 2: and made an adjustment. And he said, unless it wasn't
- 17:51Speaker 2: an adjustment, and that's when the light bulb went off.
- 17:54Speaker 2: The light bulb went off over my head. Are teams
- 17:57Speaker 2: that are good, like the Broncos and the Bucks intentionally
- 18:01Speaker 2: blitzing Hurts, taking their shots early and then completely changing
- 18:06Speaker 2: the picture in the second half to throw this offense
- 18:10Speaker 2: out of disruption.
- 18:11Speaker 3: You can make that case because the same is true
- 18:14Speaker 3: versus the Chiefs, because the Chiefs who were lighting him up,
- 18:16Speaker 3: and matter of fact, they kept they kept that, they
- 18:19Speaker 3: kept Yeah, yeah, they did that. So there's definitely a
- 18:25Speaker 3: case for that. I will say that, yeah, maybe you
- 18:30Speaker 3: get someone. I can see that point where you get
- 18:32Speaker 3: the Eagles so comfortable in that game plan and thinking
- 18:35Speaker 3: that the players are going to be there and they
- 18:37Speaker 3: don't have to deviate or have to adjust, and then
- 18:39Speaker 3: therefore you're playing similar concepts but you change them. And yeah,
- 18:43Speaker 3: so you know that they're going to play man, which
- 18:46Speaker 3: the Broncos did, but they were playing offman more in
- 18:49Speaker 3: the second half. They were playing catch, they were coming
- 18:52Speaker 3: down and spies. They were doing things differently, right, So
- 18:55Speaker 3: I can see that being flowed.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Think I think that's good.
- 18:58Speaker 3: And I thought Todd Bose did a great job of
- 19:00Speaker 3: like Jalen almost threw massiple picks in that game because
- 19:04Speaker 3: he did the Cover two invert where it can look
- 19:07Speaker 3: just like Cover zero at times or or you know,
- 19:09Speaker 3: a six man pressure.
- 19:11Speaker 2: So yeah, I think that's plausible. For sure. You have
- 19:14Speaker 2: to be very secure in your team and it's resolved
- 19:19Speaker 2: to be willing to take some early shots like the
- 19:21Speaker 2: Bucks were and the Broncos were. I can't imagine the
- 19:25Speaker 2: Giants giants, and I don't think they can do it too.
- 19:29Speaker 4: But I don't think they can. But I think it's
- 19:32Speaker 4: a logical explanation, Jeff, when you look at the previous
- 19:35Speaker 4: games Denver. You look at the Bucks, and you look
- 19:38Speaker 4: at the Rams and the Chiefs game, Right, that's the
- 19:42Speaker 4: only logical explanation because all of a sudden, they're not
- 19:45Speaker 4: finding that same success and they're playing the Egles differently. So,
- 19:48Speaker 4: I mean, I believe there is something too that I'm
- 19:50Speaker 4: curious to see if a team, maybe like the Vikings,
- 19:52Speaker 4: who the Eagles face in two weeks, are trying to
- 19:54Speaker 4: implement something similar.
- 19:56Speaker 3: So the other point that kind of makes that is
- 19:59Speaker 3: that the Eagles are going to adjust if there's an
- 20:01Speaker 3: entire game of one thing. Right, So you go and
- 20:05Speaker 3: you play or coverage the first half, and now the
- 20:07Speaker 3: Eagles are going to adjust second half. But if you
- 20:10Speaker 3: go out and give them blitz, now they don't have
- 20:12Speaker 3: the time to adjust in the second half. And maybe
- 20:14Speaker 3: that's a coaching point or philosophy that someone else has done.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Maybe I'm just wondering, can that now be a blueprint
- 20:21Speaker 2: for teams. I don't necessarily know.
- 20:23Speaker 3: The Eagles had time chances to execute in this game.
- 20:26Speaker 3: It came down to execution. Just think about Courtland Sudden
- 20:30Speaker 3: made plays in the third and the fourth quarter when
- 20:32Speaker 3: it was called our receivers and our players did not
- 20:35Speaker 3: make those same plays and or we were hindered with
- 20:38Speaker 3: a penalty that put us in a long yarded situation
- 20:41Speaker 3: and we were never able.
- 20:42Speaker 2: To overcome it.
- 20:43Speaker 3: You think about the last or the second to last
- 20:46Speaker 3: drive of that game. I thought it was the backbreaker
- 20:49Speaker 3: that kind of explained the entire game. Will Shipley goes
- 20:53Speaker 3: out to gets out to the forty. Devonte Smith gets
- 20:56Speaker 3: a catch, the next catch to Davontae Smith. Get okay,
- 20:59Speaker 3: you get a legal man down the field. They worked
- 21:02Speaker 3: themselves back into a third and manageable. They get into
- 21:04Speaker 3: a fourth and six or seven. Devonte Smith catches one
- 21:08Speaker 3: down the sideline there in field goal range in order
- 21:10Speaker 3: to go up and or score a touchdown. It's called
- 21:13Speaker 3: back because behind Dodson is in, he's moving and it's
- 21:16Speaker 3: an illegal shift.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Right. So it's been We've been plagued by these same
- 21:21Speaker 2: that same stuff the entire game, and I think that
- 21:24Speaker 2: is the coaching point for the Eagles.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Yeah, you can say, okay, it's a strategy, but there
- 21:30Speaker 3: were so many plays left on the field for the Eagles.
- 21:32Speaker 2: I know that they're killing themselves. And it was not
- 21:34Speaker 2: the referees.
- 21:35Speaker 3: The referees had a terrible game both ways, because both
- 21:38Speaker 3: teams can look at the referees and be like, oh,
- 21:40Speaker 3: this is terrible. Because the flag that they picked up
- 21:42Speaker 3: before halftime on Keey Ringo down the side, I was like,
- 21:46Speaker 3: what that. I've never seen them yet. That was passing
- 21:49Speaker 3: eference and they picked it up. They didn't even call
- 21:51Speaker 3: the one on us at the end, but at least
- 21:53Speaker 3: they didn't pick up a flag.
- 21:54Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 21:54Speaker 3: It was definitely pass you know, so both of them
- 21:56Speaker 3: were passing the ferience. But I'm saying it kind of
- 21:58Speaker 3: I thought the Broncos maybe got one more call than us,
- 22:01Speaker 3: two more calls, you know, But I don't think that's
- 22:03Speaker 3: the reason. But it's the self inflicted wounds that the
- 22:05Speaker 3: Eagles had.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Can this offense be even if to Jason's point, some
- 22:09Speaker 2: of those shots, it feels like they're a little bit
- 22:12Speaker 2: sort of shot play reliant now instead of a nice
- 22:15Speaker 2: marriage of run intermediate and go deep.
- 22:18Speaker 4: I thought they did some intermediate. They hit the intermediate, yeah,
- 22:23Speaker 4: definitely against the Broncos. And there have been times in
- 22:26Speaker 4: the Rams game not consistent enough, but there have been
- 22:28Speaker 4: times where they've been utilizing the middle of the field
- 22:31Speaker 4: and those shorts intermediate levels. But to Jason's point, there
- 22:34Speaker 4: are plays to be made at all three levels. They
- 22:36Speaker 4: just haven't executed enough at at a high clip in
- 22:40Speaker 4: certain instances. So I think we're having a totally different
- 22:42Speaker 4: conversation about Kevin Patullo. Like, for instance, I go back
- 22:46Speaker 4: to the Kansas City game that first played the game,
- 22:48Speaker 4: Grant Kakata misses on protection there, gives up a sack fumble.
- 22:52Speaker 4: They had aj Brown the other side of the field
- 22:54Speaker 4: who likely would have been that would have been the
- 22:56Speaker 4: shot play. Yeah, so there are plays to be made, Yeah,
- 22:59Speaker 4: I say that.
- 23:02Speaker 2: When it comes to this offense the RPO game.
- 23:05Speaker 3: I like that they brought it back because we haven't
- 23:07Speaker 3: seen it to scale as much as we saw at
- 23:09Speaker 3: this last game.
- 23:11Speaker 2: But you have to be able to have some call
- 23:13Speaker 2: it and.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Run it plays where it's out of Jalen's hands on
- 23:17Speaker 3: whether he gives it or makes the decision to pass.
- 23:20Speaker 3: And that's why Saquan didn't get as many carries as
- 23:23Speaker 3: that or has that he's had gotten in the passes
- 23:26Speaker 3: because Jalen was making that decision to take the ball
- 23:29Speaker 3: out of his hands. So you need to have some
- 23:31Speaker 3: run it plays and just call it as a run
- 23:33Speaker 3: play and run it. The other thing too, is that
- 23:36Speaker 3: later in that game, it was a critical third down
- 23:38Speaker 3: that we needed to sustain the drive. They were in
- 23:41Speaker 3: a two by two. They ran double slants. They ran
- 23:44Speaker 3: that play three other times. Aj Brown caught two other
- 23:48Speaker 3: slants that way. He caught another slant on the back
- 23:51Speaker 3: of an RPO. If you keep running the same plays
- 23:55Speaker 3: over and over and over again, AJ Brown had how
- 23:58Speaker 3: many catches in that game? Five all five for forty three,
- 24:01Speaker 3: all of them more slants. Basically, all of them more
- 24:04Speaker 3: slant catches when you really break it down the same way.
- 24:07Speaker 3: In the Chiefs game, it was a hitch route in
- 24:10Speaker 3: the In the Bucks game, you have to give the
- 24:12Speaker 3: man more variety, and they did give him more variety.
- 24:15Speaker 3: But in the waning moments of the game, do you
- 24:16Speaker 3: think the defensive player of the year and Patrick's aretain
- 24:19Speaker 3: is not going to see that formation that he's caught
- 24:21Speaker 3: three other slants in and he's going to d it up.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 24:23Speaker 3: That's where you need the nuance of the offense coordinator
- 24:26Speaker 3: and understand how the whole game works.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Yeah, has to be more variants, all right, So we
- 24:31Speaker 4: are still waiting.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Obviously the Eagles practicing, and it's not really a practice.
- 24:34Speaker 2: So for everybody to understand a Thursday night game, you
- 24:37Speaker 2: don't you don't put the pads on the shorts and shelves.
- 24:40Speaker 2: You basically have walkthroughs each day of the week, Monday, Tuesday,
- 24:43Speaker 2: and Wednesday. You gotta preserve the bodies, and so they
- 24:46Speaker 2: do these a little later. So the report time to
- 24:49Speaker 2: practice start today five to fifteen.
- 24:51Speaker 4: No, five to ten was locker room practice was at
- 24:54Speaker 4: like four fifteen.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Okay, we'll still a little later the normal, and we
- 24:58Speaker 2: were waiting on the injury report. So let's let's talk
- 25:00Speaker 2: about what we know from after Monday. Uh, Saquon Barkley
- 25:04Speaker 2: was on the Again, it's an estimated practice report because
- 25:08Speaker 2: they estimate what would happen if they really had a practice.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Saquon wouldn't have practiced. They call it knee. But I
- 25:14Speaker 2: know he spoke today, right and he told everybody he's fine.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Put it to rest. He's playing against the Giants, So
- 25:21Speaker 2: that's good. You just gotta be I've always thought, though,
- 25:24Speaker 2: you have to be a little concerned with the volume
- 25:27Speaker 2: that he's getting so far, and the not just the volume,
- 25:30Speaker 2: but last year he took a lot of these runs
- 25:33Speaker 2: to the house and nobody ever touched him. Jason brought
- 25:35Speaker 2: it up. He was averaging the highest yards per carry
- 25:38Speaker 2: before contact in the NFL. Now he's among the lowest.
- 25:42Speaker 2: So he's already taken a lot of contact. I think
- 25:44Speaker 2: that's something you gotta worry about. Yeah.
- 25:45Speaker 4: I go back to the Tampa Bay game. If you
- 25:47Speaker 4: remember the play where he went down for a moment
- 25:49Speaker 4: then he waved off aj diwen yep. I think that's
- 25:52Speaker 4: where that injury probably took place.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Sure, sure, and then so what to evaluate the mileage
- 25:57Speaker 2: on him as these games go. Greg Calcatar, now that
- 26:00Speaker 2: was real. He took a shot right early and he
- 26:04Speaker 2: had to leave and go back to the locker.
- 26:05Speaker 3: When I when I was watching the game, I literally
- 26:08Speaker 3: said to Barrett. I was like, dude, he's out of
- 26:09Speaker 3: the game. He's like really, I was like, he's out.
- 26:11Speaker 3: I was like, dude, this is the same Brent Seleck stuff.
- 26:14Speaker 3: I don't know what it is with tight ends, stiff arming,
- 26:17Speaker 3: get out of bounds like it's one of those things.
- 26:19Speaker 3: I can take this guy on and he gave him
- 26:21Speaker 3: his back, and that dude is who Funga is not
- 26:24Speaker 3: going to slow down. No, he's not, So you got
- 26:26Speaker 3: to know who you're playing against. And he took that
- 26:28Speaker 3: shot to the back and didn't come back.
- 26:30Speaker 2: To the game. Yeah, I actually thought initially he might
- 26:32Speaker 2: have been ccussed because he looked woozy. He was pay
- 26:35Speaker 2: a lot of it right right right away. I was like, oh,
- 26:38Speaker 2: he's out. I was like, dude, get out of bounds.
- 26:39Speaker 2: What are you doing? Superman?
- 26:41Speaker 4: And he's not even that big of a guy.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Now, he's not. He's trying to lower his shoulder when
- 26:44Speaker 2: you can just use your stiff arm.
- 26:45Speaker 3: The guy's moment is gonna carry out of bounds, but
- 26:47Speaker 3: you don't give him your back, and he gave him
- 26:49Speaker 3: his back, and you never know what's going on with him.
- 26:51Speaker 2: So if he doesn't play. Andrews Kim Lautu, who I
- 26:54Speaker 2: think has made some decent blocks so far, and it's
- 26:56Speaker 2: played twice this game he missed, said he was really
- 27:00Speaker 2: close on punt blocks. Yes, yeah, he had him.
- 27:02Speaker 4: He almost had two against Kansas City, right and.
- 27:05Speaker 2: He made some open field tackle on punk return. Does
- 27:07Speaker 2: this guy get a little bit more of an, you know,
- 27:10Speaker 2: a look in the offense as a blocker, as somebody
- 27:12Speaker 2: who's better clearly than Grant Calcutta as a blocker. Yeah.
- 27:15Speaker 4: I mean, he's so effective as an inline blocker, really physical.
- 27:18Speaker 4: I've had some really good conversations with him. He said,
- 27:21Speaker 4: my job is just to go out there and be
- 27:22Speaker 4: as physical as possible. But they went to Kylon Grantson
- 27:26Speaker 4: after Grant Calkatara left the game because Kylon Grantson obviously
- 27:29Speaker 4: he's experienced, he's more of a receiving threat. But I
- 27:32Speaker 4: think that cam Latu has played his way into a
- 27:35Speaker 4: larger role, especially if you have Brett Toth at left guard,
- 27:38Speaker 4: you're trying to find different Personnelta to maybe shake the
- 27:41Speaker 4: running game free. He would make a lot of sense,
- 27:43Speaker 4: at least in a more expanded role.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Gotcha, So you're telling me the guy who went to
- 27:46Speaker 2: Alabama said his job is to be very physical. Total
- 27:50Speaker 2: shock Right there.
- 27:50Speaker 4: He was the only player that I could think of
- 27:53Speaker 4: at the tight end position in training camp that was
- 27:54Speaker 4: able to stand up Jahiad Campbell when Jehi Campbell was
- 27:57Speaker 4: attacking downhill in like the one on one, like no
- 28:01Speaker 4: during like eleven on eleven.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Oh wow, yeah nice? All right, And obviously we're all
- 28:05Speaker 2: waiting to see the result of Landon Dickerson. So I
- 28:08Speaker 2: don't like to play the speculation game. But he leave
- 28:11Speaker 2: left with an ankle and you get a short turnaround.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I don't know that it's not just best to give
- 28:16Speaker 2: this man some rest. I don't know. I know, if
- 28:18Speaker 2: you can play, you should play Jay. But he's been
- 28:21Speaker 2: playing and he keeps coming out with injuries. Yeah, we
- 28:23Speaker 2: would have to play.
- 28:25Speaker 3: These are the types of games where you get your
- 28:27Speaker 3: veteran player some rest. And I'm not saying that you
- 28:29Speaker 3: overlook the giants, but if there's games like this, usually
- 28:32Speaker 3: coaches tend to be more conservative.
- 28:35Speaker 2: In a game like this, where you're still much more talented.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Than the giants, team is going to take a herculean
- 28:41Speaker 3: effort by the giants and then you have to play
- 28:44Speaker 3: like dog crap in order for the Giants to beat you.
- 28:46Speaker 3: So coaches look at all those things in the management
- 28:50Speaker 3: and they'll make that decision and probably he won't be
- 28:52Speaker 3: playing this.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Yeah, so that would mean Brett Toath would get the start.
- 28:56Speaker 2: You know, he had like a holding, he had an
- 28:58Speaker 2: inside penetration on it. I think it's first or second snap.
- 29:01Speaker 2: But I will say for an offensive lineman, I didn't
- 29:04Speaker 2: feel like I was constantly saying his name in a
- 29:07Speaker 2: in a bad way throughout the game. So I guess
- 29:10Speaker 2: that's my way of saying, I think he can adequately
- 29:12Speaker 2: get in there. But this is not good for the
- 29:13Speaker 2: offensive line that's trying to get some continuity and and
- 29:16Speaker 2: and our scheme doesn't help us.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Right, So we're so used to having stalwarts at every
- 29:21Speaker 3: position that it's kind of blasphemous for for you know,
- 29:26Speaker 3: Stoutland to to to put in someone to help assist
- 29:31Speaker 3: and Chip have a running back to help the left
- 29:33Speaker 3: guard out, like that's not foreign, that's foreign to to
- 29:36Speaker 3: to this offensive line. So I don't know if that
- 29:39Speaker 3: that helps us at all.
- 29:40Speaker 2: All right, real quick, as we get through a break,
- 29:41Speaker 2: Nikobe Deane think he plays and sort of left the.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Wide opening he said, he said it's possible. He was,
- 29:47Speaker 4: you know, estimated full go. He was full go last Friday.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 29:51Speaker 4: I don't know, given the MetLife Stadium turf, if this
- 29:54Speaker 4: would be the week that you want to have him
- 29:56Speaker 4: ready to go. But he's he's really close.
- 30:00Speaker 2: You know, I have something on the other side of good.

- 33:15Speaker 2: I'm just saying. Todd Harrimans, he told me he has
- 33:17Speaker 2: three reps in him. But now he didn't say against
- 33:19Speaker 2: Hu though he's lying. I should have said against Miles
- 33:21Speaker 2: Garrett and he's lying. Alright, Well, it is time for

- 33:33Speaker 2: at two six seven nine nine seven four five zero
- 33:36Speaker 2: three or visit Penworth dot com. All right, as we
- 33:40Speaker 2: talk about the keys to the game Eagles Giants Thursday night,
- 33:44Speaker 2: up the turnpike, Andrew check will be there. Is Jason
- 33:47Speaker 2: about the key to the game getting n Kobe Dean
- 33:50Speaker 2: in without an actual full practice. I don't necessarily know
- 33:53Speaker 2: if that's the key to the game.
- 33:54Speaker 3: I don't think, But I will say this about na
- 33:56Speaker 3: Kobe Dean, and I think it's an interesting like theory
- 34:00Speaker 3: and it's a very very far stretch, but Nakobe Dean
- 34:04Speaker 3: is a very very valuable piece to us and I
- 34:07Speaker 3: think that he and I know Jahi Campbell's played well,
- 34:10Speaker 3: but I don't think that Jehi Campbell is better at
- 34:12Speaker 3: this point than Nakobe Dean at inside linebacker.
- 34:15Speaker 2: That's just me at this point, don't I think that
- 34:18Speaker 2: his talent is greater.
- 34:19Speaker 3: But when it comes to diagnosing, when it comes to blitzing,
- 34:22Speaker 3: and when it comes to shooting.
- 34:24Speaker 2: The gap and avoiding a sift block.
- 34:27Speaker 3: From an offensive lineman, I thought Nakobe Dean did that
- 34:30Speaker 3: extremely well last year. Now what did Jehi Campbell? Who
- 34:34Speaker 3: is his comparison Michael Parsons. His comparison was MICHAEH. Parsons, right,
- 34:40Speaker 3: And I think we need help on the edge.
- 34:41Speaker 2: What do we have in sacks?
- 34:43Speaker 3: One guy has a you know, one and a half
- 34:46Speaker 3: sacks for us. Necessario Smith helped on two stunts that
- 34:49Speaker 3: that helped get him home. So why not try Jeha
- 34:52Speaker 3: Campbell on the edge a little bit and put Nakobe
- 34:55Speaker 3: Dean inside linebacker.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Just to see how it works.
- 34:57Speaker 3: But you need to get the reps of Nakoby Dan
- 35:00Speaker 3: being healthy on film so he can be a valuable
- 35:03Speaker 3: trade piece no matter what.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Don't I don't disagree with that philosophy. I feel like
- 35:09Speaker 2: Andrew I would need to see Nikobe Dean's not just conditioning.
- 35:14Speaker 2: But this is a very serious injury and a lot
- 35:17Speaker 2: of guys aren't the same. Yeah, when they come back
- 35:19Speaker 2: from it.
- 35:20Speaker 3: I'm not saying now, I'm saying before they make a
- 35:23Speaker 3: serious move to get help at defensive end, because you
- 35:26Speaker 3: know how he is going to make a serious move
- 35:28Speaker 3: to get help at defensive end if we continue with
- 35:31Speaker 3: the production that we are having right now.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I want to add to what Jason said. Jeff,
- 35:35Speaker 4: you've know I've written a lot about Nakobe, have had
- 35:37Speaker 4: a lot of conversations with him. Yes, I think in
- 35:40Speaker 4: many ways he was the heartbeat of that defense last year.
- 35:43Speaker 4: Highly intelligent player, can diagnose plays. Whenever you hear Vic
- 35:46Speaker 4: Fangio talk about him, he speaks glowingly. He doesn't offer
- 35:49Speaker 4: that kind of hollow he doesn't offer hollow praise period.
- 35:52Speaker 4: So I do believe that when he is ready to go,
- 35:54Speaker 4: he's certainly going to have a role on defense.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess I constantly go back and forth with well,
- 36:02Speaker 2: what is that role gonna be? Is it like as
- 36:04Speaker 2: Jason suggested, an off ball linebacker and then Campbell goes
- 36:08Speaker 2: to the edge. Is that a permanent thing? Is that
- 36:12Speaker 2: an occasional sub package or package thing or I think
- 36:16Speaker 2: the problem is, Jay, and you know this probably as
- 36:18Speaker 2: well as anyone playing in the league, is once a
- 36:20Speaker 2: first round pick gets in there and shows you at
- 36:23Speaker 2: very least a baseline ability to make plays and continue
- 36:28Speaker 2: to grow. Like you said, with the upside, it's hard
- 36:31Speaker 2: for an organization to take that guy and start playing
- 36:35Speaker 2: him somewhere else For the sake of someone who's on
- 36:38Speaker 2: the last year of his deal, who may not be
- 36:40Speaker 2: around past this year. And I have a feeling that
- 36:43Speaker 2: that might be a grapple in the upstairs, right. I
- 36:46Speaker 2: think it was the same way with the Cowboys. Michael
- 36:48Speaker 2: Parson was was thriving and buying backer stand up. He
- 36:51Speaker 2: was thriving.
- 36:52Speaker 3: But what happened was is that you had DeMarcus Lawrence
- 36:55Speaker 3: and was de Marcus Lawrence at the Yeah they have,
- 36:58Speaker 3: so you had you had guys down and they needed
- 37:01Speaker 3: someone to feel that void. And I think we're in
- 37:03Speaker 3: that same situation where Nolan Smith is down. We're not
- 37:06Speaker 3: getting production out of other guys, and I think that
- 37:09Speaker 3: you might as well give it a shot.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 37:11Speaker 4: I think at minimum he's a really good run defender
- 37:13Speaker 4: and he's also a good blitzer, so at least situationally,
- 37:16Speaker 4: they should be able to find a roll to get
- 37:18Speaker 4: him on the field.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, And I agree with this. I wonder if
- 37:22Speaker 2: no one comes back. No one's not too far away
- 37:24Speaker 2: from coming back though. He can be back in three weeks,
- 37:27Speaker 2: but he still had.
- 37:29Speaker 3: But Nolan, even when he was there, he's not getting
- 37:32Speaker 3: production and teams are passing the ball on this they're
- 37:36Speaker 3: dropping back a lot, but we're bottom of the league
- 37:39Speaker 3: in sacks. Like before last week, I think we were
- 37:41Speaker 3: twenty ninth to thirtieth in sacks.
- 37:43Speaker 2: We had five in four games, which is why vicas
- 37:46Speaker 2: blitzing at a higher rate that he has exactly because
- 37:49Speaker 2: we're not getting home interesting, So let's talk. Let's let's
- 37:53Speaker 2: take that element of it and project it to this
- 37:55Speaker 2: game against the Giants. Andrew, what would be your number
- 37:58Speaker 2: one key for this gaming?
- 38:00Speaker 4: It's the Giants get off to a fast start offensively,
- 38:02Speaker 4: put the team away early, and be able to kind
- 38:05Speaker 4: of lean on your running game. And this feels like
- 38:07Speaker 4: a really good get right spot for this Eagles team,
- 38:09Speaker 4: especially coming off that that loss. And I think the
- 38:12Speaker 4: key to that will be getting off to a faster start,
- 38:14Speaker 4: trying to get some things clicking and executing at a
- 38:17Speaker 4: high level.
- 38:17Speaker 2: No one could argue against the Broncos and the Bucks
- 38:19Speaker 2: they got off through a pretty fast start both times.
- 38:21Speaker 4: It was how they finished that, Yeah, but they have
- 38:24Speaker 4: to be able to sustain it.
- 38:25Speaker 2: That's the case. Of course. What do you think of
- 38:28Speaker 2: this Giants team that is sort of I don't want
- 38:30Speaker 2: to call them rejuvenated, and just lost through a winless
- 38:33Speaker 2: Yeah Saints team, but clearly they like what they've got
- 38:35Speaker 2: now at quarterback.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Well, So I say the key to the game for
- 38:39Speaker 3: the Eagles against the Giants is to keep them honest
- 38:42Speaker 3: in the way that you keep a team like this
- 38:44Speaker 3: honest that has really good pass rushers. That's the strength
- 38:47Speaker 3: of their team is to have They have really good
- 38:49Speaker 3: pass rushes and Brian Burns and the dual Carter they
- 38:52Speaker 3: want to get sacks. So to keep them honest, you
- 38:55Speaker 3: do what the what the Broncos did to us really
- 38:58Speaker 3: effectively they can. I'm sure at the edge they were
- 39:01Speaker 3: able to get out on the edges and hit guys
- 39:04Speaker 3: in the flat. Had multiple toss plays and I'm getting
- 39:09Speaker 3: frustrated thinking about this. How many times I saw Pat
- 39:11Speaker 3: Bryan block Josh Us on the edge right, So I
- 39:15Speaker 3: would say, if we can get to the edges and
- 39:17Speaker 3: keep these guys honest, now they got to think about
- 39:19Speaker 3: that the rest of the game. So it kind of
- 39:21Speaker 3: helps us in protection. It also opens up the inside zone.
- 39:25Speaker 3: So I think that's like the key to the game
- 39:27Speaker 3: is to get on the edge to start.
- 39:29Speaker 2: So I like that you're pointing this out last week
- 39:31Speaker 2: I wrote for Philly Voice. I do a story about
- 39:34Speaker 2: the opponent every week and I put them all twenty
- 39:36Speaker 2: two clips in and one thing I noticed about the Broncos,
- 39:39Speaker 2: and I think the Giants have the personnel to pull
- 39:42Speaker 2: it off. Discipline is a whole other issue. Yeah, but
- 39:44Speaker 2: the Broncos aren't just great at pass rushing. They had
- 39:48Speaker 2: a plan. They plan they never got inside the offensive tackle,
- 39:52Speaker 2: so they never let Jalen break to the outside and
- 39:55Speaker 2: then stunt in the middle cause traffic jailing. For the
- 39:58Speaker 2: first time all year in quite a whit did not
- 40:01Speaker 2: have lanes to run through when the team brought pressure.
- 40:04Speaker 2: The Giants have good pass rushers. What I wonder is
- 40:08Speaker 2: in the moment here in a prime test, well, they
- 40:09Speaker 2: had the discipline to be able to do that.
- 40:12Speaker 3: No, I think that they've been so relying upon the
- 40:15Speaker 3: defensive line that they get home anyway that's necessary in
- 40:20Speaker 3: order to help the team. So having structure like that's
- 40:24Speaker 3: like the Broncos defense is one of the better defenses
- 40:26Speaker 3: in the league overall when it comes to coverage. When
- 40:29Speaker 3: it comes to Van Joseph devising this scheme, when it
- 40:32Speaker 3: comes to the way that they rush the pass and
- 40:34Speaker 3: how they get off the ball, and not only when
- 40:37Speaker 3: Jalen did have a few lanes to get up. The
- 40:40Speaker 3: second level triggered so fast that he had to get
- 40:42Speaker 3: down the guy. They just think about this. In the
- 40:45Speaker 3: Broncos defense, they had their second round pick or first
- 40:50Speaker 3: round pick, I can't remember which round, but a great player,
- 40:53Speaker 3: a great young player in Jade.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Barron guarding got her. He's their dime corner, he's their
- 40:58Speaker 2: dime he came in just to guard Dallas got it.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Yeah, and multiple situations they had Raleigh moss yep Garden,
- 41:06Speaker 3: Dallas got like. Just think about the wealth of talent
- 41:08Speaker 3: and the back end for them. I thought that was
- 41:10Speaker 3: the best, the best secondary in the league, top to bottom,
- 41:14Speaker 3: not saying that that we don't have guys in Coop
- 41:16Speaker 3: and Quina, but top to bottom, all they players.
- 41:19Speaker 2: I thought it was the best secondary in the league
- 41:20Speaker 2: and that you can do more with them. Right. So
- 41:22Speaker 2: the Giants have tried to get with the times, right.
- 41:25Speaker 2: I mean, they've got this defensive front We've just mentioned Dexter, Lawrence, Abduel, Carter, Keevon, Dibbodeaux,
- 41:31Speaker 2: Thibbodeaux and Brian Burt. You could argue that if things
- 41:33Speaker 2: were great, they may have the best four man russ
- 41:35Speaker 2: in football. But they also in the offseason Andrew they
- 41:38Speaker 2: bring in Paulson Adebo a corner. I thought their safety
- 41:41Speaker 2: last year Nuben played fairly well. They're trying to get
- 41:44Speaker 2: Banks to play better. First round pick, but is that
- 41:47Speaker 2: defense right now the way that's currently and with the
- 41:50Speaker 2: having to pull the offense along, can they hang? Can
- 41:53Speaker 2: they keep up? No?
- 41:54Speaker 4: I don't think it they can. I was pretty high
- 41:56Speaker 4: on Deontay Banks coming out of Maryland several years ago.
- 41:59Speaker 4: Now he really hasn't panned out to be the player
- 42:02Speaker 4: that they expected them to be. The foundationally, they're built
- 42:04Speaker 4: on their pass rush, but if they're not able to
- 42:07Speaker 4: get home Jalen hurts in this Eagles offense should be
- 42:10Speaker 4: able to execute in the passing game at a high level,
- 42:13Speaker 4: because I just don't think that they have enough there
- 42:15Speaker 4: at the second and third level.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Right It's no coincidence that the only game the Giants
- 42:20Speaker 2: won this year against the Chargers two Sundays ago. They
- 42:24Speaker 2: were up ten to nothing in the game. They had
- 42:27Speaker 2: a Jackson Dart fifteen yard touchdown run and then a
- 42:30Speaker 2: field goal, So finally they could say to the defense. Hey,
- 42:34Speaker 2: that team's behind. They got a pass. I think they
- 42:36Speaker 2: also lost the left tackle in the game. The Chargers,
- 42:38Speaker 2: let's go rush the passer. I mean they very infrequently
- 42:42Speaker 2: get the opportunity to do that, which, to your point, Andrew,
- 42:45Speaker 2: is why it's really gonna help be helpful for the
- 42:47Speaker 2: Eagles if they start off fast and put the Giants
- 42:50Speaker 2: in the hole again? Right?
- 42:51Speaker 1: Is this?
- 42:52Speaker 2: Does this have to be a get right game for
- 42:54Speaker 2: Sakuon Barkley, Like, we can't go six weeks here without
- 42:56Speaker 2: Barkley having a big game, can we know?
- 42:58Speaker 4: But if the knees bother them, you don't just want
- 43:01Speaker 4: to continue to, you know, add some wear and tear.
- 43:04Speaker 4: You have other players like aj Dillon and Will Shipley
- 43:06Speaker 4: and even Tank Bixby that you could lean on. I
- 43:08Speaker 4: don't know if this has to be a get right
- 43:10Speaker 4: game for Saquon. It's gonna be health dependent. And the
- 43:13Speaker 4: injury report actually just came out.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Oh he will, let's check that out. Well, we'll get
- 43:18Speaker 2: to that on the other side. But Jason, real quick,
- 43:22Speaker 2: what do you think you could be hoove the Eagles
- 43:23Speaker 2: just to even diversify their run game a little more
- 43:26Speaker 2: a little bybe Tank Pigsby once in a while, a
- 43:29Speaker 2: little AJ Dillon will Shipley.
- 43:30Speaker 3: AJ Dillon is averaging like seven yards of carry. Yeah,
- 43:34Speaker 3: so he's pretty up there, pretty high when it comes
- 43:36Speaker 3: to that number. I just think that teams are not
- 43:39Speaker 3: viewing him the same and keying on him as much.
- 43:42Speaker 3: And he's probably the benefactor of Saquon's success. But I
- 43:45Speaker 3: think you have to get Saquon going and some method.
- 43:48Speaker 3: I just think that we're so used to running inside
- 43:51Speaker 3: zone and outside zone has worked a lot better for
- 43:54Speaker 3: us an outside running places have worked a lot.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Better for us this whole year, right, which is what
- 43:58Speaker 2: they typically do now, what they do, and so.
- 44:00Speaker 3: We get tired of doing it, rather than he let's
- 44:03Speaker 3: just run outside until they stop it and then we
- 44:05Speaker 3: can come back inside. I don't understand that philosophy. Do
- 44:09Speaker 3: what works, or change it up, don't keep doing the same.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Thing, all right, real quick? Sakuon Barkley is today's report.
- 44:15Speaker 2: He's limited on the estimated report, not did not practice,
- 44:18Speaker 2: so that's an improvement for him, but Grant Calcatara and
- 44:21Speaker 2: Landa Dickerson still considered did not practice. We got one
- 44:25Speaker 2: more segment here on WBCB A Philly fans. Game day
- 44:29Speaker 2: is stressful enough. Parking, traffic, long lines, We've all been there,

- 45:28Speaker 2: we're back here at Chickis and Pete's and Marlton, Jeff Mosher,
- 45:31Speaker 2: Andrew deiceco and former Eagles wide receiver Jason lebont As.
- 45:36Speaker 2: You're listening to the Pro Football Report, presented by BCWSA
- 45:40Speaker 2: right here on fourteen ninety WBCB and one oh seven
- 45:43Speaker 2: three FM, and of course seen live at wbcbsports dot
- 45:46Speaker 2: com and streaming also simultaneously on the inside of the
- 45:50Speaker 2: Birds YouTube channel. All Right, uh, Eagles Thursday night, they
- 45:55Speaker 2: have romped on the Giants pretty well when they're supposed to.
- 46:00Speaker 2: I want to ask you about this defense day going
- 46:02Speaker 2: up against obviously a rookie quarterback making his third start.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Quinnon Mitchell has played at a early high level. I
- 46:08Speaker 2: know he probably he's almost built up this expectation now
- 46:13Speaker 2: right where he's got to shut down and there are
- 46:15Speaker 2: probably a couple of reps against Courtland something that he
- 46:17Speaker 2: just didn't get it done. But he still has. He's
- 46:19Speaker 2: still a very talented corner and probably the best Eagles
- 46:22Speaker 2: had in a while. Yeah.
- 46:24Speaker 3: So, so quinnyon talk about the tail of two games
- 46:29Speaker 3: in one game, right, So the first three quarters, we're like, dude,
- 46:32Speaker 3: he's locking sutting up and Sudden is like the most
- 46:35Speaker 3: underrated receiver in the NFL when it comes to his production,
- 46:39Speaker 3: when it comes to his route running from being six
- 46:41Speaker 3: to four and being able to locate the balls. Just
- 46:43Speaker 3: a strong dude and just a solid player. He's just
- 46:46Speaker 3: one of those under the radar guys. You look at
- 46:48Speaker 3: his stats and you look at what he does and
- 46:50Speaker 3: what he does for his team, and you're like, dude,
- 46:51Speaker 3: I can't believe this guy is this good without this
- 46:53Speaker 3: without recognition.
- 46:54Speaker 2: You know, so you and so you have it early
- 46:59Speaker 2: doing well, and then last quarter.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Or so he goes for almost one hundred yards on you.
- 47:04Speaker 3: So it's one of those welcome to the NFL moments,
- 47:06Speaker 3: because I don't know if Quenyon had a Welcome to
- 47:08Speaker 3: the NFL moment last year, right so, and then after
- 47:12Speaker 3: shutting down Ibuka the last week and you have that happen.
- 47:15Speaker 3: I just think it's one of those things about the
- 47:17Speaker 3: NFL is dude, you gotta be focused and ready and
- 47:20Speaker 3: have your confidence up high the entire time. So Quenyon
- 47:24Speaker 3: is definitely great at coverage. There are certain things that
- 47:27Speaker 3: I think that he has to do a little bit better.
- 47:29Speaker 3: He relies so heavily on his speed that he gets
- 47:33Speaker 3: himselves in bad position. If you look at Patrick certain
- 47:35Speaker 3: Patrick Sartain will give.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Up an underneath the land or give up something like that.
- 47:39Speaker 3: But he usually finishes on top of a wide receiver,
- 47:43Speaker 3: so you don't go over the top of him.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Normally. Quenyon is so fast that he's like, dude, I'll
- 47:49Speaker 2: catch up in the end.
- 47:50Speaker 3: And so you see him getting to a place where
- 47:52Speaker 3: it's a fifty to fifty ball and he's trailing and
- 47:54Speaker 3: it's hard to wrestle that ball away from a dude
- 47:56Speaker 3: at six'. Four but it will be a much better
- 47:59Speaker 3: position if you on top the whole.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Time and here's. Technique so he has a lot to improve.
- 48:04Speaker 2: On but he's a great young. Talent, Yeah and does
- 48:06Speaker 2: he get Like thursday night off with the neighbors for
- 48:09Speaker 2: The giants to throw?
- 48:10Speaker 4: To, WELL i mean it's THE. NFL i mean every player's,
- 48:14Speaker 4: got you, know the varying degrees of. Ability but who's
- 48:17Speaker 4: he gonna be up Against Darius slayton OR i would Imagine.
- 48:20Speaker 2: Slayton slayton has some good games against. US i don't
- 48:22Speaker 2: want you to disco that's the Pre Quinjon mitchell going through.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Corners but he can. Run he can. Run he can. Run,
- 48:30Speaker 2: yeah and you have a guy that can run anything to.
- 48:32Speaker 4: Happen he's been around.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Forever it feels, Like, yeah so it looks Like Theo
- 48:37Speaker 2: johnson has emerged a little bit from for for The. Giants, Yes,
- 48:41Speaker 2: JASON i have to talk about A Penn state.
- 48:43Speaker 4: PLAYER i knew, that you knew.
- 48:44Speaker 2: That you knew it was. Coming and what happened this
- 48:46Speaker 2: week With Penn state but not.
- 48:50Speaker 4: And the week before?
- 48:51Speaker 2: That, yeah before there is. Understandable this past week is.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Unacceptable was the week before that? Understandable? REALLY i wonder
- 49:00Speaker 2: How saquan felt about. It i'm sure he got some
- 49:02Speaker 2: ribbing By and by the, way you Mentioned. Igbuka one
- 49:05Speaker 2: of these, days if The eagles And bucks play again
- 49:07Speaker 2: in the playoffs and we're doing this, show we're gonna
- 49:10Speaker 2: have to have a talk about that. Guy he has
- 49:12Speaker 2: been unbelievable through the first five weeks of the, season
- 49:15Speaker 2: and both of us are gonna have to say something
- 49:17Speaker 2: nice about In ohio sneaky AND i don't think either
- 49:19Speaker 2: ust feel comfortable about. That, well he's A bucks. Guy to,
- 49:22Speaker 2: ME i don't even think about where he wants to.
- 49:23Speaker 2: Go there you, go there you. Go but, really This giants,
- 49:28Speaker 2: OFFENSE i, mean with their offensive line the way it,
- 49:31Speaker 2: is they should struggle against This eagles Defense to move
- 49:35Speaker 2: the ball and to be able to contain the pass,
- 49:37Speaker 2: rush don't you.
- 49:37Speaker 4: Think, YEAH i think the key for this is gonna
- 49:40Speaker 4: be interior. Pressure and WHEN i look at The eagles,
- 49:42Speaker 4: defense the hallmarks should be interior pressure and dynamic second level.
- 49:47Speaker 4: Play this should be a big jay When carter. Game
- 49:51Speaker 4: but let's not forget he's been dealing with that shoulder
- 49:53Speaker 4: the last few weeks and it seems like it's gonna
- 49:56Speaker 4: be something that. Lingers it's the same one that he
- 49:59Speaker 4: had in training.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Camp. Yeah how about Is Darius smith the guy he
- 50:03Speaker 2: just goes from team to team the last few years
- 50:05Speaker 2: and he goes and plays pretty. Well, yeah he's he's
- 50:07Speaker 2: been schemed open the few times that he's got. Home, yeah,
- 50:11Speaker 2: so but he's doing. Good he's the only guy with
- 50:13Speaker 2: on the edge that had some some, pressure so hopefully
- 50:17Speaker 2: he can continue continue it.
- 50:19Speaker 3: Up i'm, disappointed AND i, KNOW i just think that
- 50:22Speaker 3: we're dealing with injuries and guys are tough and through,
- 50:24Speaker 3: it and it's kind of unfair because we expected them
- 50:27Speaker 3: to play through.
- 50:27Speaker 2: It But Jalen carter is a shell of, himself just
- 50:30Speaker 2: a flat out. Show there was double. Teams they were
- 50:33Speaker 2: double team in the other three they weren't double team
- 50:35Speaker 2: in him in this Fast, well no.
- 50:36Speaker 3: They, were but they were just getting up to the
- 50:38Speaker 3: second level so fast that you didn't know because he
- 50:40Speaker 3: would take he would take the the easy way. Out
- 50:44Speaker 3: he didn't take on the double. Team he would just
- 50:46Speaker 3: go opposite of. It so the guy that was double
- 50:49Speaker 3: team and would just push him over into the gap
- 50:51Speaker 3: and just head up To Zack.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Bond so but, yeah you're talking about. Runoff i'm saying
- 50:56Speaker 2: some past protection away from. Him that's surprise. Me AND
- 51:00Speaker 2: i almost, wondered, like is that it's just some really
- 51:02Speaker 2: good scheming or is there something deeper to. That, no
- 51:05Speaker 2: he's just not playing the Same and it's.
- 51:06Speaker 3: True just think about like the run game and how
- 51:10Speaker 3: efficient he was like getting in the. Backfield how many
- 51:14Speaker 3: tackles for lost a game did he?
- 51:16Speaker 2: Average you? Know, so and you just don't see those last. Plays,
- 51:20Speaker 2: yeah this interior Front, andrew it's like you've Got Jalen,
- 51:25Speaker 2: carter you haven't Improved Jordan, Davis Moro jomo was the
- 51:28Speaker 2: star of. Camp AND i don't think they're playing, poorly
- 51:31Speaker 2: but you haven't yet seen them all pop together and
- 51:35Speaker 2: really create this sort of overwhelming interior.
- 51:38Speaker 4: Presence, Yeah Jalen carter didn't really dominate in training camp
- 51:42Speaker 4: like we saw the previous, summer and you have to
- 51:45Speaker 4: think that the shoulders impacting that a little. BIT A
- 51:47Speaker 4: JOMO i really, like but he's, undersize AND i think
- 51:50Speaker 4: you're seeing that in in how that manifests in the running.
- 51:53Speaker 4: Game Jordan davis has been a revelation Though Jordan davis
- 51:56Speaker 4: has played, well but, Collectively, jeff to your, point, no
- 52:00Speaker 4: you haven't seen them all sort of fire in the same.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Game When Jordan davis And Jalen carter's out of the,
- 52:06Speaker 3: game we got no, Chance like as far as like
- 52:09Speaker 3: stopping the run WHEN i when When Byron.
- 52:11Speaker 2: Young And ojomo was in, there they were getting sure.
- 52:15Speaker 3: Just just like pushed all the way back AND i
- 52:18Speaker 3: and and it was to the point where when both
- 52:20Speaker 3: of them were in, it they were the guys took
- 52:22Speaker 3: one break and they were coming back.
- 52:23Speaker 2: In it was, like we can't play football like. This
- 52:26Speaker 2: and so The eagles got to solve.
- 52:28Speaker 3: That AND i don't know how they, can't you, know
- 52:31Speaker 3: because they had a very deep defensive line last year
- 52:35Speaker 3: in comparison to.
- 52:35Speaker 2: This, YEAH i feel like this year it's not like
- 52:37Speaker 2: they've been bad against the, run but teams have had
- 52:40Speaker 2: probably more more maybe they.
- 52:42Speaker 4: Have, yeah they've been bad for their.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Standard, yeah they've been over one hundred. Yards the running
- 52:47Speaker 2: backs have been over one hundred, yards you. Know, so
- 52:50Speaker 2: so it's and that's obviously where it, starts all, right
- 52:53Speaker 2: the drama. Angle we have to a little dress it
- 52:55Speaker 2: before he closed it out. There and obviously you you've
- 52:58Speaker 2: seen a lot in your time with The. Eagles when
- 53:01Speaker 2: you go back to this relationship Between, HURTS. A. J,
- 53:05Speaker 2: brown his, receivers they all had a meeting, yesterday talked it.
- 53:08Speaker 2: Out Sa quon was THE uh was the?
- 53:11Speaker 4: Uh media the.
- 53:12Speaker 2: Mediator and this is From Jimmy, keepski my colleague At Philly.
- 53:14Speaker 2: Voice what does that tell, You? Jay is that is
- 53:19Speaker 2: that normal to? You or is that a sign of something?
- 53:21Speaker 2: Good something not? Good whenever that meeting has to happen
- 53:26Speaker 2: is never, good, true you, Know so you don't meet
- 53:30Speaker 2: when you're, uh you know when everything you, Know SO
- 53:34Speaker 2: i just think that, perspectives it's easy for us to
- 53:39Speaker 2: sit in the. Seat so let me break this down for.
- 53:42Speaker 2: You and and we don't we don't have that must.
- 53:43Speaker 2: Sign but.
- 53:46Speaker 3: Winning is the central. Thing that's what we want to.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Do everyone wants to, win And philadelphia wants to.
- 53:51Speaker 2: Win all of us.
- 53:52Speaker 3: Do the only thing is is That jalen's winning equals.
- 53:58Speaker 3: Money the quarterback wins equals a big. Contract the same
- 54:05Speaker 3: is not true for a wide. Receiver but he did
- 54:07Speaker 3: get it a big. EXTENSION i mean he's getting. Deduction
- 54:11Speaker 3: gets contracts for, receivers not. Wins production. Does so when
- 54:16Speaker 3: it's time to go to how we and, how he,
- 54:20Speaker 3: says you know, what your production is not the.
- 54:21Speaker 2: SAME i want you to take a pay. Cut. Damn
- 54:23Speaker 2: why is my production not the same Because i'm not
- 54:25Speaker 2: getting the. Ball you're making a great, point by the,
- 54:28Speaker 2: way because people forget about that and they drive this To.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Dallas godd they just they do it for every, player you.
- 54:34Speaker 3: Know and so what Aj brown is saying, is, YES
- 54:37Speaker 3: i want to, win but at the same, TIME i
- 54:39Speaker 3: don't want you guys to take my kindness and my
- 54:43Speaker 3: desire to win for me being a dummy and not
- 54:46Speaker 3: being a shrewd.
- 54:46Speaker 2: Business, sure SO i want.
- 54:48Speaker 3: You guys to prioritize me catching the ball, too Because i'm.
- 54:51Speaker 2: Helping your quarterback get his. Money that's. FAIR i Mean
- 54:56Speaker 2: not only did they do this to Get Dallas, goddter
- 54:57Speaker 2: but they did it the year. BEFORE i think the, slave,
- 54:59Speaker 2: right it's every year and who you think is next
- 55:03Speaker 2: down down At Dusty. Road, yeah so his separation, analytics
- 55:07Speaker 2: if you're paying attention to those are. Down is that
- 55:10Speaker 2: the route and usage or do you think you're seeing
- 55:13Speaker 2: a player who doesn't separate like he was two or
- 55:15Speaker 2: three years ago to some?
- 55:17Speaker 3: Extent, Right, SO i think it's a combination of having
- 55:21Speaker 3: a new offense corn he doesn't play the game with
- 55:23Speaker 3: the same the same like tactfulness that he did.
- 55:26Speaker 2: Before WHEN Aj brown first got, here you would.
- 55:29Speaker 3: See him do moves on slants and get open and
- 55:32Speaker 3: shake a guy and didn't use just route power all the.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Time he had a little bit of subtly to his.
- 55:37Speaker 3: Game this, year for some, reason he's just running up
- 55:40Speaker 3: to guys and pushing them and getting. In that only
- 55:43Speaker 3: works on so many. Times you gotta give guys. Moves
- 55:46Speaker 3: so it's a little bit On. Aj and then it's
- 55:48Speaker 3: the predictability of the. Routes just think about, it all
- 55:52Speaker 3: slants versus The, chiefs all slams versus The, broncos all stop,
- 55:56Speaker 3: routes versus it's, predictable, right and you're playing against the
- 55:59Speaker 3: best corner every, time so it's a predictable. Thing SO
- 56:01Speaker 3: i think it's a little bit OF, aj but it's
- 56:04Speaker 3: mostly the offensive play.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Calling, yeah you know the famous scene In My Cousin
- 56:08Speaker 2: vinny When Marissa toby, says my biological clock is. Sick,
- 56:12Speaker 2: well as like my knees aren't getting any, healthier my
- 56:16Speaker 2: contract isn't getting any. Bigger well actually, is and that's
- 56:18Speaker 2: gonna make them want to read.
- 56:19Speaker 6: It.
- 56:20Speaker 2: GO i need to get the ball down the, field my,
- 56:22Speaker 2: friend and and is gonna help us. Win it's BECAUSE. A.
- 56:26Speaker 3: J brown has been a central feature in our offense
- 56:30Speaker 3: that when he touches the, ball we normally.
- 56:32Speaker 2: Win is just the. Truth that is the. Truth we will. See,
- 56:35Speaker 2: yeah But jalen hat being there is part of that equation,
- 56:38Speaker 2: too and we'll. Listen sometimes The giants can be a
- 56:41Speaker 2: get right game for The, eagles and we will See
- 56:43Speaker 2: thursday night if that is the. Case Jason, levant Former eagles,
- 56:47Speaker 2: receiver thank you so much for showing. Up, hey check
- 56:51Speaker 2: over from inside The birds always doing a great. Job
- 56:53Speaker 2: you've been listening to The Pro Football report
