Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
April 8th, 2026. And well, on the positive side,
• 0:28
you know, the cheating Astros lost.
• 0:30
So that's a positive. But unfortunately they didn't
• 0:33
get over because they didn't do their job, which again is a
• 0:36
positive because they lost because they're cheating and
• 0:39
they're cheaters. So take the L, but you know, got
• 0:42
to take the wins no matter how small they are sometimes.
• 0:45
So all right, tonight we're sticking.
• 0:48
I was going to stick with some baseball, but then got to this a
• 0:51
little late and really I'm stuck with some basketball, so I'm
• 0:55
going to head out West. We got OKC playing back to
• 0:58
backs, but they're in LA, so it's all right.
• 1:01
They're just, you know, played the Lakers last night.
• 1:03
  They'll play the Clippers tonight.
• 1:04
And I think somehow the Clippers played last night too.
• 1:07
I'm not exactly sure how that worked.
• 1:08
Maybe one was during the day when it was the night.
• 1:10
I don't know. Anyways, we got two teams, both
• 1:12
coming off of back to backs. I believe the important thing
• 1:15
here is that the Clippers have been playing well, but OKC is
• 1:18
far and away the better team, if not the best team in the NBA all
• 1:22
around. So tonight I'm looking at this
• 1:25
spread sitting at 8 1/2, considering what they Thunder
• 1:29
did to the Lakers last night. Now, I know the Lakers aren't
• 1:32
the Clippers, but the Thunder just gave it to him and I don't
• 1:35
think they're going to do the same to the Clippers.
• 1:38
But I think the result is going to be similar and it's going to
• 1:40
be double digits spread sitting at 8 1/2.
• 1:43
I think they're going to cover that.
• 1:44
Like I said, I think it's going to be 10 plus.
• 1:46
So I'm feeling good. So we're going to go Oklahoma
• 1:49
City Thunder -8 1/2 against the LA Clippers in tonight's NBA
• 1:55
Basketball fall action. See anything better than that?
• 1:57
Pound it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 1:59
to it. Don't forget to rate, review,
