- 0:00It is now time for the long waited round of a hypothetical situation game.
- 0:05We give each other some brutal scenarios, we think about them, and we
- 0:08find out. What do you do? Are you ready for this? I'm
- 0:13telling you this might be my best work yet. Yeah, get after it
- 0:16all right. You're out enjoying a nice afternoon lunch with your wife. Of
- 0:20course, you're at a Chinese buffet. Oh, I know, I know.
- 0:25I'm getting you, get you excited. You finish, just deless,
- 0:29delicious, You're stuffed, and of course the last thing is to open your
- 0:33fortune cookie. You open it and it says, Pike, You're never allowed
- 0:41to go back to any China buffet ever again, ever again, unless you
- 0:47A quit your band low standards, or B spend an entire day, an
- 0:54entire day tied to your bed with a room full of snakes. So far,
- 1:07Oh jesus, what do you do? Probably just crumpled the fortune cookie
- 1:17up and throw it around. I know you can't. I wouldn't do either.
- 1:19Is that an option? Because this is the whole game. A or
- 1:23B, Pike, you're quitting the band, or you're tied to a tied
- 1:26to a bed. Well, I can't whole day and snakes are getting after
- 1:30you. Is anybody else in the room? Nope? Just you. By
- 1:34the way, we are live on Facebook. Good morning to Ashley Marie.
- 1:36She says she's quitting the band. She's out. Okay, easy for Ashley
- 1:40to say. I even poured your heart and soul into this thing for the
- 1:42last ten years. I guess I'll take my chance with the Snakes. I
- 1:47don't really I know how much you hate snakes. Obviously it's gonna be the
- 1:49worst day of my life. But oh boys, boys, it keeps the
- 1:53band again. Okay, all right, Amanda, you're elected president this fall.
- 1:59My chance is pretty good. Right now, your first day on the
- 2:02job, you're curling your hair in the Oval office when your chief of staff
- 2:07comes running and screaming, missus President, answer the phone. It's Putin.
- 2:12He's online one. You answer the phone, and Vladimir picks up. He
- 2:16says, missus President, we have a plans to attack America. Oh yeah,
- 2:22but we will restrain ourselves under one condition. And this is a pure
- 2:27coincidence. But you have to eat a snake on live TV. So,
- 2:31Amanda, Snake, what do you do? Good morning? By the way,
- 2:44to Kayla On Kayla, you tune in just in time. I would
- 2:49eat the snake. I'm not a weirdo. I think I've actually tried rattlesnake
- 2:53before. Yeah, but you didn't eat it live, like live TV or
- 2:59a live snake both. Yeah. I'm going to save the nation. Are
- 3:02you you understand the snake is living, It's not just deep sitting there with
- 3:07the fork. You're gonna have to cut it. Figure it out. Yeah,
- 3:09how are you going to cut it? I am the president of the
- 3:12United States of America. I will to figure it out. I will protect
- 3:15this nation. You don't like our odds if they were to try something.
- 3:20I don't know much about the kind of regime are you running. You don't
- 3:23know the way we never know. You don't have the nukes ready to go.
- 3:27Also, good morning to candas. Ashley says, Nope, no snake.
- 3:30I know more snakes. I don't know what you have written for this
- 3:34next what you do, but let's just eliminate any This one is horrifying.
- 3:37Okay, take a deep breath. Snakeless. I hope snakeless your task with
- 3:42the help of moving a relative And of course you say yes, you're so
- 3:45helpful Pike. So you bring that Nissan Ultima right on over and you load
- 3:50up that bad boy. You're driving over to the residence when all of a
- 3:54sudden you hear a voice from the back seat. It's just you and the
- 3:59blong means you slam on the brakes. You turn around because what could that
- 4:02possibly be in the back seat talking? You turn around and all you see
- 4:13it's not a snake. It is a porcelain doll just sitting there and it
- 4:20just said high Pike. So, Pike, what do you do? These
- 4:34are getting worse and worse? Is so good? A porcelain is talking?
- 4:41Yes, I guess I just talk back. See what the deal is?
- 4:46Really? You don't freak out that a porcelain doll is in your back seat?
- 4:51Or are they just chatting? You don't know yet. Anything could happen,
- 4:57could kill you. It could be a chucky kind of porcelain. Okay,
- 5:00well, I guess I would probably get out of the car. What
- 5:03you're the one making this no fun. You're just gonna say oh hi and
- 5:06keep driving. You're not spooked at all that a porcelain doll's talking to you?
- 5:13Yeah? Wait, I don't know this. It would be weird.
- 5:14This would be wild. Of course, supernatural thing is happening, and I
- 5:18guess I would probably tell people about it, like, hey, guys,
- 5:21like you won't believe this, but I got this doll and it's talking.
- 5:26Oh no, and everyone be like, no way, can we come see
- 5:28it? I'd be like, yeah, I guess. I don't know if
- 5:30it's gonna kill us or not. I haven't really gotten to that point.
- 5:31But live on Facebook. There's a guy named Nick Linder. You might remember
- 5:35him. Oh yeah, you filled it on the show once, best day
- 5:38I've had in a while. He did say, wow, you guys need
- 5:41me back. And the worst one it's true your husband. He was so
- 5:45proud of these today. I mean I was, I think he is.
- 5:47At what point did you feel pride writing those? Angela said, the doll's
- 5:55going out the window? All right, we got one left here. I
- 5:57am sorry. Maybe Nick can come next Friday. Oh man, that's so
- 6:04Amanda final, What do you do you're out at the Red River Valley Fair
- 6:09tonight when you're invited on stage to join the Goo Goo Dolls. What a
- 6:14moment? What a moment. All you can taste is this moment when Johnny
- 6:19Resink, the lead singer, says, Amana, come up here. We
- 6:23would like you to fill in and sing one song your choice. Any song
- 6:28doesn't even have to be a goo goo doll song. So Amanda, really
- 6:35take your pick, easy, beasy, what do you do for real?
- 6:43I start singing fast Car. I've we've been listening to it on a rebate,
- 6:49and that's what I would want them to sing. I would love like
- 6:54that, obviously dolls, Fast Car rendition, and I bet it would be
- 6:59a maz But it's you singing oh yeah, well yeah, I know the
- 7:02words. That's gonna be embarrassing for everybody. That's a good sing along that's
- 7:08going to ruin the evening, potentially the entire summer. Not a what song?
- 7:12What song do you think I would go with? Oh slide? Maybe?
- 7:15I don't know. No, you gave me an option to get off
- 7:17the goo goo dolls have already done. We're gonna maybe take a break from
- 7:21doing this for a while, like an in the morning, Big nay eight
- 7:25point seven? Did you already ready? That's see is piping hot today?
- 7:30No, Amanda stills the Sea, We see Bronzi My Park Company Real Tours.
- 7:36Are you on a Grande in a little bit of trouble because she sat
- 7:40down for an interview and was asked her ideal dinner guest and said this,
- 7:44I've been Jeffrey Dahmer's pretty fascinating. I think I would love to him,
- 7:49like, you know, maybe with a third party or something. But her
- 7:54voice changes over the years. Really everything about her has been quite annoying.
- 7:58But that answer, Yeah, I mean, I'm not going to crucify her
- 8:01for it, because I've said way worse things. But I know the families
- 8:03of the victims are not happy. Yeah, they're not happy about it.
- 8:05People just thought it was very odd, but you kind of brought it up
- 8:09earlier about just the fascination you have maybe questions like what what in the world,
- 8:16like if you had questions for somebody. Yeah, it's fascinating true crime
- 8:20in general. I mean, it's like a giant section of the entertainment industries.
- 8:24People being obsessed with actual crimes where people were actually killed. And I
- 8:28think there's a meme out there where it's basically like, you know, somebody
- 8:31got imagine getting murdered in cold blood, only for years later somebody to change
- 8:37the episode because it was too quote boring, you know what I mean.
- 8:41Imagine you're on some murder mystery show and somebody like that. There's some datelines
- 8:46that I'm kind of like, ah, this one's not hidden. Yeah,
- 8:48switch, Oh, they don't actually solve the case, boring. I want
- 8:50to know who did it. So that point, Michael Jackson was over five
- 8:58hundred million dollars in debt at the time. I'm of his debt his death.
- 9:01Now we have these new court documents that say he owed more than sixty
- 9:03five different creditors. Now, remember the night before he died, he was
- 9:09performing, he was doing his dress rehearsal. He was ready to go back
- 9:11out on tour and just make a ton of money. That was kind of
- 9:13his comeback plan to pay a lot of this off. They kind of went
- 9:16through all of his finances, saying, not only was he donating to charities
- 9:20but was great, But there were so many gifts, travel, art,
- 9:24furniture, jewelry. I know. But then again, I mean, I
- 9:28remember getting my first credit card. It had a five hundred dollars limit and
- 9:31I maxed it out and I remember just one shot. Well, okay,
- 9:35I didn't know if you bought like one purchase. I just remembered thinking I'll
- 9:39never recover from this. I'm absolutely crippled right now. I'll with the interest
- 9:43payments on that, I'll never be able to get out of this debt.
- 9:46Man very relatable to Michael Jackson's five hundred and I've never thought about this,
- 9:54but the host of Prices right, Drew Carey talking about the over the top
- 9:58behavior as a co testines when they're down there, I mean, they're very
- 10:01excited about it, and I just thought, yeah, I would be jacked
- 10:05if I was a part of the showcase, showdown, or if I got
- 10:07a chance to spin the wheel or any of them. But it was one
- 10:09of the idiots that gets called up there and never actually even makes it past
- 10:13this exactly, even just like the rundown. I mean that moment, you'd
- 10:16say probably fifty percent of America has dreamt of that. I don't know a
- 10:22wild stat to throw out, but maybe I feel like over fifty shooting a
- 10:26little high. Listen, we all fantasize it, but from time to time,
- 10:30I'm sure I would fall. I would get too excited, I'd fall
- 10:33down the stairs. Or you see those people who just make it because you
- 10:37get nervous and you think, oh, this is easy, but if you're
- 10:39not paying attention to everybody else's numbers and the price of it to get uh,
- 10:45some people you just want to pinch because they're just so dumb. I
- 10:48know. It's it's interesting, but he is saying that a lot of the
- 10:52contestants had been drinking, partaking in recreational pharmaceuticals. Really acting as though this
- 10:58is what's normal for most of the people that are going to this, Well,
- 11:01they're mostly on vacation. I'm sure. In fact, maybe I went
- 11:05to over one spring break. We went to Los Angeles and one morning we
- 11:09went to the set of The Prices, Right, we waited in line.
- 11:11You gotta wait in line for like hours to get time. Is it there?
- 11:16So? Like I remember it aired here at ten am and it's live.
- 11:20Yeah, I mean you got you got to get there, so that's
- 11:22two am. I don't know. It was early enough for me to go.
- 11:24Guys, not my idea of spring break. Standing in the line,
- 11:28you did. I wait for a little bit and then I called it.
- 11:31So, yeah, we left. Have your friends ever been able to forgive
- 11:35you for that? You got a chance to call it off. I think
- 11:37we all agreed we were twenty one, it was spring break and we were
- 11:41standing in the line to get into prices. Right. I think we made
- 11:45the right move. And was it Drew or Bob? It's been Bob for
- 11:48years? What true? Sorry? When did you take over? It's been
- 11:50like eighteen years, right, has it? It's been a long time.
- 11:52It's longer than you think. Trending now metal now will Last night the debate
- 12:03was very interesting and I think it left a lot of Democrats wondering what is
- 12:07next for the Democratic candidates. There was plenty of criticism, of course,
- 12:11of misinformation by Trump, but most of the talk after the debate was the
- 12:15poor performance by Biden. Multiple people were in a state of panic, and
- 12:18I guess they don't know where you go from there. I don't know.
- 12:22I'm u, are you able to make a right turn at this point?
- 12:24I mean, change candidates? I don't know, I think, but I
- 12:28did enjoy the one particular moment, and that is I think was one of
- 12:31the most mind blowing things for me because as a parent with two kids and
- 12:35childcare and just the crisis were in and that was the question that was asked,
- 12:39not once but twice. Both candidates did not answer, and all of
- 12:43a sudden this happens. You can see he is six for five and only
- 12:46twenty three founds twenty thous Well, you said sixty four to two hundred anyway,
- 12:54that's anyway. Just take a look at what he says he is.
- 12:58Take a look at what he is. Look. I'd be happy to have
- 13:01a driving contest, toy Rema. I got my handicap, which when I
- 13:05was vice president down to a six. Oh. By the way, I
- 13:09told you before, I'm happy to play golf. If you carry your own
- 13:13bag, I think you can do it. That's the biggest rub. Here's
- 13:16a six handicap of all. I was an eight handicap. Yeah, eight,
- 13:20But I sing, I know you swing. Let's not act like children.
- 13:26Well listen, and I know you wanted to hear about childcare, Amanda,
- 13:30But for me, I appreciate it because you know, I'll be honest.
- 13:33I was kind of on the fence, and a couple of the key
- 13:35issues I wanted to hear about were Trump's height and weight and Joe Biden's handicap.
- 13:39Ye on the golf course. So do you believe any of that information?
- 13:43Well, when he says he was down to a six handicap. No,
- 13:46I don't believe that because I know, having also been down to a
- 13:50six handicap myself in the Great Year of twenty twenty, and I know that
- 13:54that he was not. No, there's no way. I know there's no
- 13:58Trump. I mean, say what you want about guy can ding it off
- 14:01the tee. I mean he can move it out there probably two thirty and
- 14:05I don't think Biden is doing that. You don't think so well. A
- 14:07lot of people were left joking and saying, why don't we just, you
- 14:11know, let them play around to golf to see who can be the president?
- 14:13To that idea. About halfway through the debate, I guess the Democratic
- 14:16Party had said, Oh, Biden, he's got a cold, he's been
- 14:20sick, and that's why nobody could understand him or hearing. I don't know
- 14:24about that, but feeling like maybe that's not the truth. They so it's
- 14:26a whispery. It's hard to understand. It was kind of trailing off.
- 14:30As for Trump's pick for VP, it is still not known. In attendance
- 14:33last night, of course, was Governor Burgham, Marco Rubio, and JD.
- 14:37Vant. After the debate, Governor Burgham was interviewed and would not say
- 14:41if you know. He was asked, he kind of tried to avoid the
- 14:43question. He later did say that Trump is the only one who knows.
- 14:46Trump has announced that during the RNC and Milwaukee would start on July fifteenth,
- 14:50he will let the world know who he is going to have as a running
- 14:54mate. And it's all that. There was the NBA Draft last night,
- 14:58and for the first time an NBA history, a father son duo will be
- 15:01playing in the league. At the same time, the Lakers and their fifty
- 15:05fifth pick went with Bronnie James. The Lebron and Bronni now will be on
- 15:09a team together for a year until Lebron decides to hang her up. This
- 15:13has been the plan for literally years because he's not like he wouldn't have been
- 15:16drafted otherwise. But that's I mean, it's cool, pretty cool, cool
- 15:20for both of them. It'll be cool. I don't know if he'll ever
- 15:22even stick in the NBA. But I'm not a great NBA mind. You
- 15:26know who wasn't it your first time watching when the d Wolves finally made it,
- 15:33when they were no stop it. I have a die hard you decided
- 15:35to get the d Wolves, Jersey. I have been a die hard Wolves
- 15:39fan for thirty years. God, you know who I saw was going to
- 15:43be in attendance. Remember Ken Griffy Junior, the baseball player. Well,
- 15:46him and his dad played on the same team. So it's happened in baseball.
- 15:50They hit back to back runs, but they said they're going to be
- 15:52the at the first game to watch. Interesting was you and your dad ever
- 15:56playing a baseball team together? We did not. I played on the same
- 16:00softball team as my dad. One. See that's good. It was pretty
- 16:03emotional, all right. Weather today, once the clouds roll out of here,
- 16:07we're supposed to get some sunshine this afternoon and a high of eighty one.
- 16:10And Amanda in the morning on SIG seven, would you agree with me
- 16:15that the American dream? I mean, we work our whole lives, but
- 16:18the dream is to be able to comfortably retire on a home and so that
- 16:21you can get into little arguments like this with your neighbor. This elderly couple,
- 16:25Amanda had a little boundary issue. Oh yeah, with their yards.
- 16:29There was a tree that was basically directly on the property line. Oh gosh,
- 16:33that's gotta be just brutal. Because like, who's supposed to be cutting
- 16:37it? Yeah, that's tough. Okay, Well, the two neighbors were
- 16:41bickering because there was birds nesting in the said tree and damaging the driveway of
- 16:48the other neighbor with their droppings dropping down. Yes, never fun. Yeah,
- 16:52Well, three years went on. They were constantly bickering about those dang
- 16:56birds. What are you gonna do about it? And so finally they just
- 17:00took action on their own and this neighbor, who is fed up with the
- 17:03birds, literally sliced the tree in half the long way. Yeah, it's
- 17:10probably not gonna survive. I don't know a whole lot about trees, but
- 17:14when one half is gone, I don't know if it's gonna gonna last.
- 17:17Well it so far is this photo is incredible. I mean literally, just
- 17:21this tree is perfectly cut in half long again the long way. And now
- 17:26after they thought that would just solve the problem, it's created a new issue.
- 17:30You know, you can imagine like a cartoon where there's a bunch of
- 17:32leaks coming out of a wall and you plug one, but then another springs
- 17:34open, sort of what happened here. Because somebody saw the tree and left
- 17:40a Google review commenting on how interesting the tree was. Well, suddenly people
- 17:45started showing up to the house. Oh stop it. So now it's like
- 17:48a tourist attraction. Well, a tourist attraction, yeah what you kind of
- 17:55combined terrorists and tourists, like a really bad tourist would be a tour But
- 18:03no, I mean yes, it's become essentially a tourist attraction. It has
- 18:07now received several Google reviews, one that says interesting tree that was cut in
- 18:14half due to a feud between two neighbors. Oh so people know the backstory?
- 18:18Yeah, well yeah they started. Now all the Google reviews do so.
- 18:19Yes, it's a little bit of a historical landmark. Really, the
- 18:22tree is gonna die, right, I would think so at some point.
- 18:26I mean, I don't know. They probably let the roots stay in so
- 18:29I don't know if it can rebuild itself. I don't know what kind of
- 18:32tree it is. It's a big tree. And I say it almost daily.
- 18:36It's hard to come by good mature trees. You're not wrong. I
- 18:40live in West Fargo. Trust me, you got those little pitolly ones.
- 18:42Man. I mean, maybe your kids's kids might get to enjoy him.
- 18:48If I'm lucky, you won't be around it a minute in the morning.
- 18:53Get up on dig I'll say it. What's your biggest turn on? What
- 19:00gets you going wow right away this morning? Okay, before you answer that,
- 19:03I want to gross people out whatever you might come on, Oh,
- 19:07come on. See if you agree with the survey, sixty nine percent of
- 19:10adults say the biggest turn on around the house is a clean house. Oh
- 19:15yeah, if my husband's unloading the dishwasher, yeah, I'm gonna go and
- 19:19be like thank you baby. Yeah, they say, what just like you,
- 19:25man, the simple act of seeing your partner clean is a turn on.
- 19:30That's awesome. So the actual not just coming home to a clean house.
- 19:33You gotta actually see him doing it, right. I don't know.
- 19:36There's like if I see my wife down scrubbing like kind of the base of
- 19:38the toilet, like I while I do appreciate it, I mean there are
- 19:42sexier positions, you know what I mean, Like you just kind of get
- 19:48down the grunting, you know, kind of hands and knees. It's not
- 19:51like, yeah, I see, I guess it's more of just like the
- 19:53act of like doing it. It's not like the physical down and all of
- 20:00that. Bike I don't think, Oh okay, gotcha. Just sixty seven
- 20:03percent believe a clean, fresh, smelling home would make them more likely to
- 20:07quote get fresh with the partner. The thing is is, when you have
- 20:11a clean home, and you know, I'm kind of a weirdo about a
- 20:14clean house, you just have all the more reason to relax. You don't
- 20:18feel like there's anything else you gotta do. You got a candle going,
- 20:22you open a bottle of wine, the house is clean. I mean,
- 20:25you're just setting that is a setup for success. But then again, on
- 20:29the other side of it, it's like if I got a clean, like
- 20:30spotless house, just cleaned it, bed is made, fresh linens, you
- 20:34think I want to get in there and mess it up. There's nothing better
- 20:38than pulling down the covers to a fresh bed. Are you kidding me?
- 20:45I understand, but I'm saying, but you don't even want to jump in
- 20:47it. I'll jump in it. I'm just saying what they're suggesting is you
- 20:49just want to get in there and you know, rattle the headboard a bit,
- 20:55which I you know it's for me. It's sort of the opposite when
- 20:57you kind of got a see sloppy, stanky bedroom, No that's like kind
- 21:04of reminds me of college.
