- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and camera
- 0:06Speaker 1: je Edge.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of two Teas in
- 0:16Speaker 2: a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp.
- 0:19Speaker 1: And Dolores Catana. Teddy, I had so much fun. I
- 0:23Speaker 1: don't think I've laughed harder since the last time I
- 0:26Speaker 1: spoke to you. But I'm not going to laugh this time.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Have anxiety this time.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I have anxiety. What the fuck? Like I want to
- 0:34Speaker 1: take a shot. I don't drink. I feel like I
- 0:36Speaker 1: want to take a shot of something. When he's going
- 0:39Speaker 1: on here? What an episode? Yeah, it was a lot.
- 0:44Speaker 1: It was a lot. The entire thing.
- 0:47Speaker 2: There wasn't even a moment of reprieve, not for a second. No,
- 0:53Speaker 2: not even for a second. Just to give a little
- 0:58Speaker 2: life update to you, guys, I had my immune therapy
- 1:04Speaker 2: yesterday and they did my scans and at this point
- 1:09Speaker 2: there is no detectable answer. Why.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Oh my god, Oh I'm so Teddy. Stop it.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Yeah, so I still need to stay on immune therapy
- 1:27Speaker 2: for another year, and I'm not considered.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Carry on after this sucked the episode? Oh, Teddy, I
- 1:40Speaker 1: know so. I wish I could hug you. I love you.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Thank you for telling me that. Of course I took
- 1:47Speaker 1: my breath away.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I and then when they told me, I was in
- 1:51Speaker 2: such shock. I was like numb.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Oh my goodness.
- 1:55Speaker 2: So I'm still gonna be having days when I'm feeling
- 1:57Speaker 2: sick and stuff because i still am in immune therapy.
- 2:00Speaker 2: So I'm still fighting because you have to be. It's
- 2:04Speaker 2: the way they said it works. It's like a year
- 2:06Speaker 2: than two years. Then at three years you're allowed to
- 2:09Speaker 2: be considered in remission and remission. So but that was
- 2:15Speaker 2: huge news.
- 2:16Speaker 1: You did it, girl. You didn't. You didn't give up
- 2:19Speaker 1: one day. You fought harder than anybody I know. So wow,
- 2:24Speaker 1: that's such good news. I'm so happy.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Thank you. So all the tumors continued to shrink and everything.
- 2:31Speaker 2: So it's it's been good. It's a good day.
- 2:35Speaker 1: God is good.
- 2:36Speaker 2: It's a good day until we have to recapital Housewives
- 2:39Speaker 2: of Orange County Away.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Do we really have to money up this news? Just
- 2:47Speaker 1: fucking call it a day right now. Nothing good is
- 2:51Speaker 1: coming out of this episode.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Well it starts out a couple of
- 2:55Speaker 2: days after Temecula. Shannon texted Tamar that she was thinking
- 2:59Speaker 2: about me, and she also sent treatment programs for cancer.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Tamra thought maybe it was an olive branch Do you
- 3:06Speaker 2: think it was an olive branch or do you think
- 3:07Speaker 2: it was just her being nice?
- 3:11Speaker 1: I think it was just her being nice.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Yeah, me too.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think it was an olive branch. I
- 3:16Speaker 1: don't see any type of her wanting to be fair.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I just don't see it.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I'm not seeing any branches of any sort really from
- 3:26Speaker 2: anybody here. Nobody here was holding any wood.
- 3:31Speaker 1: No, No, it was it was something. It was a
- 3:36Speaker 1: way to get something to you that she wanted you
- 3:38Speaker 1: to have. Yeah, it wasn't. Hey, Tamra, hope you're doing well.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Can you you know I was thinking about Teddy it
- 3:48Speaker 1: was right. I mean, you know you've been on my mind.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Would you mind please sending this a Teddy? It was
- 3:52Speaker 1: nothing about Tamara. It was all about you and olive branches. Hey,
- 3:56Speaker 1: I hope you're doing well.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I know you've been going through a hard time. I've
- 3:59Speaker 2: been thinking about you and so.
- 4:02Speaker 1: And then say that yeah, nope, nope, not having it. No,
- 4:06Speaker 1: I'm so happy for you. Do with the kids saying
- 4:08Speaker 1: do they know yet?
- 4:09Speaker 2: The kids are like, well, mainly it's just slate that
- 4:13Speaker 2: really understands. Yeah, but it's kind of, you know, been
- 4:18Speaker 2: good and bad because her nationals are this week in Washington,
- 4:22Speaker 2: d C. And I couldn't go, you know, because people think,
- 4:28Speaker 2: just because you know the cancer is gone, that I
- 4:31Speaker 2: can't still get sick or whatever. But it's I'm still
- 4:35Speaker 2: in treatment, so I still have a compromised immune system,
- 4:40Speaker 2: so I have to still be careful. How long is
- 4:44Speaker 2: the treatment for the treatment? They said, you know, another
- 4:48Speaker 2: couple of years.
- 4:49Speaker 1: All right, So if anybody can do that, you can. Yeah,
- 4:55Speaker 1: you'll get through it. More things you'll get through it.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I'll get through it. Then Tama tells Eddie she is
- 5:01Speaker 1: not happy with Heather. She feels Heather doesn't take doesn't
- 5:05Speaker 1: take sides and should stick up for her. Do you
- 5:08Speaker 1: feel Heather is a good friend to Tamara? So I
- 5:12Speaker 1: think that she has been a good friend to Tamara. However,
- 5:17Speaker 1: if I had to just only see this episode, I
- 5:21Speaker 1: would say this wasn't the greatest friend episode. If I
- 5:26Speaker 1: was judging it on just this episode, I'd say.
- 5:28Speaker 2: No, Yeah, But I would also say that this kind
- 5:31Speaker 2: of feels like Tama was taking it out on who
- 5:34Speaker 2: she was closest with. Which is what we tend to do.
- 5:37Speaker 1: We all tend to do it. Yeah, but she was
- 5:41Speaker 1: mad at Heather in a previous episode.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Also, and Heather, I was mad at her in a
- 5:46Speaker 2: previous episode.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, so I think as friends. I don't see
- 5:52Speaker 1: them breaking up, I see, but I do see them
- 5:57Speaker 1: having going through a hard time in a relationship right now. Yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I don't. I don't see an end to this. I mean,
- 6:04Speaker 1: I don't see like, oh, this is like they're dumb.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't. I don't either. And I think they're
- 6:10Speaker 2: going to start getting closer again too, if.
- 6:13Speaker 1: This season is over. They need a break.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I think once they get on the trip. I think
- 6:20Speaker 2: once they get on the trip, once there's no more
- 6:23Speaker 2: I'm quitting. Once there's no more Muddy Waters, I think
- 6:28Speaker 2: they're going to start bonding again.
- 6:31Speaker 1: They will. I think that their past relationship was strong
- 6:34Speaker 1: enough to get them through this. This is just a
- 6:37Speaker 1: bump in the road.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Then Shannon tells Heather that her name came up
- 6:42Speaker 2: into Mecula on the trip, and Gina said she didn't
- 6:45Speaker 2: see Heather as a comedian or doing improv. Heather is
- 6:49Speaker 2: hurt by not feeling supported. I so what why can't
- 6:58Speaker 2: they just be supportive of something that she's doing.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Well, they can be, but they're not. They're caddy women
- 7:05Speaker 1: for Caddie, and they're being Caddie to her. And I
- 7:09Speaker 1: don't think that she should be that upset, especially from
- 7:12Speaker 1: where it's coming from.
- 7:14Speaker 2: But I think I would probably be upset about something
- 7:17Speaker 2: like that. I think it would probably hurt my feelings
- 7:21Speaker 2: if I'm like, if I told you tomorrow, I'm going
- 7:25Speaker 2: to start taking dance classes, but that stated laughing at me.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's me, right, And I have to say,
- 7:35Speaker 1: like Gina wouldn't nobody would like it if it was
- 7:38Speaker 1: done to them. However, I'm so cynical. I'm such a
- 7:42Speaker 1: cynical that I expect that, Like, I wouldn't be like,
- 7:47Speaker 1: oh my god, I'm so shocked they said that about me,
- 7:50Speaker 1: you know.
- 7:51Speaker 2: But could you imagine what Gina would have thought if
- 7:53Speaker 2: she said that about her real estate career.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Oh, she would have not liked it the way the
- 7:58Speaker 1: same way Heather didn't like it. But you know, I
- 8:02Speaker 1: hope Heather now shows them up and shows them how
- 8:04Speaker 1: wrong they are.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Well, the way that she did her sing moan sex thing,
- 8:09Speaker 2: I'd say that improv classes are working. Sure, can you
- 8:14Speaker 2: do a sex mon? Laugh?
- 8:19Speaker 1: Can you No, I'm trying to think, work on it.
- 8:28Speaker 2: No, I've seen a very good ones sex and moan
- 8:33Speaker 2: all I could.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I can't do all three.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I know.
- 8:38Speaker 1: You're asking. I'm like, that's a triple thread. I cannot.
- 8:41Speaker 1: What am I ventriloquis to.
- 8:45Speaker 2: You're like, hold on, how am I supposed to do
- 8:48Speaker 2: any of this?
- 8:49Speaker 1: This is so stupid? I know.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Then this next part made me nervous, also gave me anxiety.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Jen takes her son to go get a tattoo. Jen's
- 9:13Speaker 2: ex husband sat their kids down and told okay before okay.
- 9:17Speaker 2: The entire scene was scary to watch, but Jen talks
- 9:19Speaker 2: about how their ex husband sat them down and told
- 9:22Speaker 2: Ryan as the one who took their mom. However, now
- 9:25Speaker 2: they like Ryan and they feel like he's a supportive guy,
- 9:28Speaker 2: which from what we've seen, he is a good stepdad
- 9:31Speaker 2: to them or future stepdad he is.
- 9:34Speaker 1: And she's crazy for him. She is wild about this guy.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Like I mean, I'm happy that she could feel that
- 9:41Speaker 1: way about someone good for her. But I felt bad
- 9:46Speaker 1: for the kids because I thought I give them credit
- 9:48Speaker 1: for standing their own ground on how they made their
- 9:51Speaker 1: own opinion about Ryan.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and he earned it.
- 9:55Speaker 1: He said they were like, listen, we found out for
- 9:59Speaker 1: our elves. And Ryan said in the beginning, which is
- 10:04Speaker 1: very big of him, I'll I'll earn their them and
- 10:08Speaker 1: and I'll work on having them like me. And you know,
- 10:12Speaker 1: for me, it means a lot. When somebody's good to
- 10:14Speaker 1: the kids, That says a lot about who he is,
- 10:17Speaker 1: regardless of whatever else may be going on there. You know,
- 10:21Speaker 1: it's a lot for for somebody in that position to
- 10:26Speaker 1: put anything on the kids. So I just I felt
- 10:31Speaker 1: bad because them saying that. I hope they didn't feel guilty.
- 10:33Speaker 1: And I hope their dad didn't get mad at them
- 10:35Speaker 1: by the nice things they said about Ryan.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I hope so too. I hope.
- 10:39Speaker 1: So I was thinking that, I was like, fuck, it's
- 10:41Speaker 1: gonna bust.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Their balls when I know, what is he going to say?
- 10:44Speaker 2: What is he going to think?
- 10:45Speaker 1: But you know, if he said that in the beginning,
- 10:46Speaker 1: is probably going to say something to them for saying
- 10:48Speaker 1: nice things about I just hope he doesn't. They're nice,
- 10:51Speaker 1: they seem like nice men.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Well, it really made me my heart race when he's
- 10:58Speaker 2: getting the tattoo. I mean, it was so scary to watch.
- 11:02Speaker 1: When he starts to like seize doings up fainting, and
- 11:10Speaker 1: that happens when people faint, and I forget that it
- 11:14Speaker 1: makes me. It made me very nervous. She of course
- 11:16Speaker 1: got nervous, and I hate for him to go to
- 11:18Speaker 1: boot camp at the Marine Corps. I have family. My
- 11:22Speaker 1: brother's a marine, my father's a marine. I tried to
- 11:25Speaker 1: join the Marines. My parents wouldn't let me because I'm
- 11:27Speaker 1: a girl. But they're gonna bust his chops when he
- 11:31Speaker 1: gets there. From this scene, if they know anything about this,
- 11:34Speaker 1: I feel bad for this guy.
- 11:36Speaker 2: How would you feel about getting tattoos and taking them?
- 11:40Speaker 1: I don't about my kids getting tattoos, Yeah, and bringing
- 11:44Speaker 1: them for it. I don't do that.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't think you would.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I saw my daughter had a bird tattoo on her ankle,
- 11:50Speaker 1: almost punched her teeth in.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I'm like I thought, feeling he wouldn't be the mom
- 11:56Speaker 2: to take somebody to get a tattoo.
- 11:58Speaker 1: No, anyway, my son would pass out, just like he did.
- 12:01Speaker 1: My son's in finance. He's not even going into the Marines,
- 12:04Speaker 1: and he passes out when he gets shots. I'm not
- 12:07Speaker 1: taking him definitely. My daughter had to do it behind
- 12:11Speaker 1: my back.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah, And then it was a surprise.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I was like, what's what's that? And and I was like,
- 12:18Speaker 1: don't act, don't don't do it, do not do it.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Well. I had a friend and right when we graduated
- 12:24Speaker 2: high school, she got a tattoo on her on her butt,
- 12:27Speaker 2: and her mom came in and saw it, and so
- 12:30Speaker 2: she went in to go get it taken out. But
- 12:32Speaker 2: they were like, oh, we can't laser it off. So
- 12:34Speaker 2: the mom goes, okay, then just cut it out.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Did they Oh my.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Holy shit, we can't laser it off. Okay, then you
- 12:51Speaker 2: can just cut it off. Good mom, cut it off.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Good woman. She was not getting around. That is sosay, Derek.
- 13:01Speaker 2: I know, beyond Emily's really in the mix here, Emily
- 13:06Speaker 2: tells Tamar that she was surprised by what Gretchen was
- 13:09Speaker 2: saying because it was not on brand with how she
- 13:11Speaker 2: likes to portray herself with the Christian behavior. Emily says
- 13:15Speaker 2: in La her Enslade had a prayer moment before getting
- 13:18Speaker 2: in the car, and Tarama says, she's hiding behind Jesus
- 13:21Speaker 2: Jesus curtain.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Do I think that? I mean, I don't know a
- 13:27Speaker 1: lot about Gretchen. To be honest with you.
- 13:30Speaker 2: The only thing I know about Gretchen is things that
- 13:32Speaker 2: have happened over ten years ago, right, because she's just
- 13:36Speaker 2: coming back after right, But she's come back and she's
- 13:40Speaker 2: only brought back the past.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I mean, I know a lot of
- 13:47Speaker 1: people Christian, Catholic, all all different religions, and you know
- 13:53Speaker 1: people that go as far as to have a prayer
- 13:56Speaker 1: before they get in the car, which is beautiful, a
- 13:58Speaker 1: family prayer. Kind of don't go on like that. Like
- 14:03Speaker 1: Amy van Horne. Her husband used to be a basketball player.
- 14:07Speaker 1: She was a Catholic from Utah, right, And they came
- 14:10Speaker 1: because he was playing for somebody in the area. He
- 14:13Speaker 1: was on a professional basketball team. And she was standing
- 14:17Speaker 1: outside the school and her daughter came out and said, Mama,
- 14:21Speaker 1: this boy's picking on me and instead of me like
- 14:25Speaker 1: me coming from Patterson, going to confront his mother and
- 14:29Speaker 1: you know, tripping the kid when he comes out of school,
- 14:32Speaker 1: the animal that I was back then, Amy van Horn said,
- 14:36Speaker 1: the Christian person she is will pray for him that
- 14:39Speaker 1: he has a better day. I don't see that in Gretchen.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I learned a lot from Amy van Horn and if
- 14:45Speaker 1: she ever hears this, thank you for that. I don't
- 14:48Speaker 1: see a lot of that in Gretchen.
- 14:51Speaker 2: So whatever, it seems like she has so much like
- 14:54Speaker 2: residual anger.
- 14:56Speaker 1: He does, which is the core to the religion she's
- 15:00Speaker 1: weeks is about forgiveness.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Yeah, which it makes it hard for me to like,
- 15:07Speaker 2: it makes it hard for me to believe. One, it's
- 15:08Speaker 2: hard for me to believe her in general, because we
- 15:10Speaker 2: didn't talk about this last week because we weren't on together.
- 15:12Speaker 2: But the fact that she's gone back and forth on
- 15:15Speaker 2: all the things that she said, Like she said, you know,
- 15:19Speaker 2: I didn't bring up the guy, but she did bring
- 15:22Speaker 2: up the guy. It wasn't just Slade. She brought it
- 15:25Speaker 2: up in the car. Then she says I didn't go
- 15:28Speaker 2: to the hospital, but then she said she did go
- 15:30Speaker 2: to the hospital. Like it's just so repetitive on her
- 15:35Speaker 2: going back and forth. And I'm like, do you either
- 15:38Speaker 2: A have a terrible memory or B you're just an asshole.
- 15:44Speaker 1: When you're telling the truth, you don't have to remember anything, right,
- 15:48Speaker 1: that's true. So that's very true. But but their story
- 15:56Speaker 1: doesn't change when it's the truth.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pretty easy to remember when it's the truth.
- 16:01Speaker 1: And I you know, I'm not anyone to speak on
- 16:06Speaker 1: what's in somebody's heart or what they believe in or
- 16:09Speaker 1: what their religion is. I'm not speaking on her behalf
- 16:11Speaker 1: on that. I'm not doing it at all, not saying
- 16:14Speaker 1: she's not a good Christian. I'm not saying Emily saying
- 16:17Speaker 1: what I see.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 1: No.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Then Emily says during the game at Heather's sleepover, she
- 16:23Speaker 2: and Heather both picked Tamara when they asked who they
- 16:26Speaker 2: trust the least. She worries if Tamara gets mad, she
- 16:29Speaker 2: will look something up. Emily tells Tama she can't have
- 16:32Speaker 2: clean hands all the time and make everyone else the villain.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever seen worse timing in my life. Like, hey, Tamara,
- 16:41Speaker 2: party looks great, by the way, everybody. Before everybody gets here.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I'm going to let you know that we trust I said, yeah,
- 16:49Speaker 1: we trust you the least, and even your best friend
- 16:51Speaker 1: on this show at this moment said the same thing.
- 16:54Speaker 1: So what I want to say to that is, first
- 16:58Speaker 1: of all, that's Tarmar's house is beauty fall so nice.
- 17:01Speaker 1: The party looked amazing, Tama looked adorable in her skirt,
- 17:05Speaker 1: and it was looked like a very cheerful, happy party
- 17:09Speaker 1: to be had. I feel like because the timing was
- 17:13Speaker 1: so bad that Emily just wanted to get the fuck over.
- 17:17Speaker 2: She just wanted to get it done with immediately.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Yeah, she ripped off the band aid.
- 17:22Speaker 2: She's like, I don't, I gotta just I got to
- 17:24Speaker 2: do this.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I gotta drink my poison because I got to tell her,
- 17:28Speaker 1: and I want to get it over with right now.
- 17:30Speaker 1: And it was so weird because she's standing there, the
- 17:32Speaker 1: poor cake lady with her gluten free cake. She wanted
- 17:34Speaker 1: to probably shove her face in the bowl. I'm an
- 17:38Speaker 1: anxiety eater. I would have been like. It just made
- 17:42Speaker 1: a tense to the rest of the evening. Could we
- 17:44Speaker 1: not have actually gotten on with the party and maybe
- 17:47Speaker 1: had this pow wow outside around the fire.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Pit after the cake sort of done?
- 17:54Speaker 1: Or yeah, to some extent, let's see the cake. Why
- 17:57Speaker 1: does it have to be right on? Like, let's just
- 18:01Speaker 1: make this an awkward party, an awkward moment. And it
- 18:04Speaker 1: was awkward because you know what, you should have left
- 18:07Speaker 1: after you said that, because now Tarma runs out of
- 18:11Speaker 1: the room. You shouldn't. She's like this isn't my house.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm not sure what to do right now, Like, couldn't
- 18:16Speaker 1: we have at least got it go in, at least
- 18:18Speaker 1: got the project going. It puts Tarma on defense at
- 18:22Speaker 1: her own house.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Yeah, it puts her completely on the defense. She's now
- 18:26Speaker 2: going to have to have a conversation with Heather. And
- 18:29Speaker 2: it kind of felt like a pileon.
- 18:32Speaker 1: It did, And that's why I feel like I would
- 18:37Speaker 1: have liked to had the mood of the party get
- 18:39Speaker 1: going a little bit. But I really I don't know
- 18:41Speaker 1: if Emily was told to do that or Emily decided,
- 18:44Speaker 1: like I got to get this over with because I'm
- 18:46Speaker 1: shitting my pants that I have to tell Tama this.
- 18:49Speaker 2: But she could have just told Tamar about herself. Why
- 18:52Speaker 2: did she have to also tell her about what Heather
- 18:54Speaker 2: said because she wanted to come camera, I know, But
- 18:58Speaker 2: if she was just coming on how she felt.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Yeah, so you know, and then Tamra runs out, that's
- 19:07Speaker 1: one oh one. She can't keep running out of these scenes. No,
- 19:11Speaker 1: I don't want to see it anymore. She has to stop.
- 19:15Speaker 1: She's been around long enough. She can stand her ground
- 19:18Speaker 1: and she could fight, and she could go against anybody
- 19:21Speaker 1: She's ran out of every single fight. I know she
- 19:23Speaker 1: doesn't have a lot left in her There's a lot
- 19:25Speaker 1: going on in her life at the time, as who
- 19:28Speaker 1: knows better than you what it is. But she can't
- 19:31Speaker 1: keep running out. No, No one likes to see.
- 19:33Speaker 2: That because then she runs out, and then they are
- 19:37Speaker 2: all sitting around awkwardly not having the conversations that they
- 19:41Speaker 2: need to ultimately have.
- 19:43Speaker 1: You know, grown women, grown women can't keep running out
- 19:48Speaker 1: of fights. No, And unfortunately, I think Tamra would agree
- 19:54Speaker 1: with that.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I think probably watching it, this was probably a
- 20:00Speaker 2: very hard episode to watch back.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and so was last week and the week before.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I saw this with Portia this year too, coming back
- 20:12Speaker 1: after being gone for so long. She ran out of
- 20:14Speaker 1: a lot of fights, and towards the end she stopped.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Somebody must have had a talk with her, like enough,
- 20:23Speaker 1: yeah enough.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Well, Tamra says she talked to the wife of the
- 20:27Speaker 2: artist she allegedly slept with, and the wife gave Tamara
- 20:33Speaker 2: a screenshot that said, Jen PEDRONTI just followed her husband.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Do you think I'm confused? Teddy? Can you explain what
- 20:43Speaker 1: this means?
- 20:44Speaker 2: Okay?
- 20:45Speaker 1: Well, not like Tamra bringing out something that like they
- 20:50Speaker 1: were just accusing her of this, and then this is
- 20:52Speaker 1: bad timing too.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I think what happened was so Jin,
- 20:57Speaker 2: here's the story. It's not bleeped out in real life.
- 21:01Speaker 2: So she knows the actual name of the person Jen,
- 21:04Speaker 2: here's the story, and then immediately goes and follows this
- 21:08Speaker 2: guy on social media.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Oh, why do I think in my head she's following
- 21:13Speaker 1: him in a car? Why did I what's wrong with me? No,
- 21:19Speaker 1: she is actually wrong.
- 21:21Speaker 2: No, she follows him on social media and then Tamara
- 21:25Speaker 2: has the proof.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I just go back to eight okay, which ends.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Up irritating me later when Jin just can't be like, yeah,
- 21:36Speaker 2: I followed him, because I want to know everything that
- 21:39Speaker 2: goes down.
- 21:40Speaker 1: One thing. Get, I've seen Tamara actually own most of what.
- 21:44Speaker 1: She's like, yeah I did, Yeah, I did it. Does
- 21:46Speaker 1: she do like, don't make me look get an asshole? Here?
- 21:49Speaker 1: Does she always take accountability? You can't always agree what
- 21:53Speaker 1: she does, but you can't agree that she she owns it.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Yeah, she's like, yeah, I printed it out. I don't remember.
- 22:01Speaker 2: I wouldn't remember, so I wanted to remember. This was
- 22:04Speaker 2: at five thirty three pm.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I have a bad shorts her memory. Yeah, I'm printed
- 22:15Speaker 1: it out and I made a poster board. I'm going
- 22:19Speaker 1: to bring it to the reunion in a envelope in
- 22:20Speaker 1: case I forgot, I'll I'll have a couple of copies
- 22:24Speaker 1: in case I lose one. So what does Jen say.
- 22:28Speaker 1: She can't say, she can't deny it.
- 22:31Speaker 2: She pretty much was just like, well, I didn't know
- 22:33Speaker 2: who it was, and I wanted to just like a
- 22:37Speaker 2: wormy response. But she hasn't even confronted her yet because
- 22:43Speaker 2: first Tama brings up that Heather believes Gretchen's lies, and
- 22:47Speaker 2: Heather says, Gretchen believes what she says when she speaks,
- 22:50Speaker 2: it is her truth. Can we talk about her truth
- 22:54Speaker 2: in general? When people say you're truth?
- 22:57Speaker 1: I can tell you what I think it is. Go
- 23:00Speaker 1: ahead in my thing, what my definition of her truth is,
- 23:04Speaker 1: what in her mind she thought really happened, which I
- 23:08Speaker 1: just said about Gerty in the last episode where she
- 23:12Speaker 1: looked at everybody saying, no one stuck up from me.
- 23:14Speaker 1: And then they showed a clip that Gertie asked to
- 23:17Speaker 1: show where people were saying it was wrong. Yeah, at
- 23:21Speaker 1: the table, but in her mind when all that was
- 23:24Speaker 1: going on, she had tunnel vision and didn't see anybody
- 23:26Speaker 1: sticking up for her.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Okay, when someone says my truth, they are usually referring
- 23:31Speaker 2: to their personal beliefs, opinions, and perceptions, which are based
- 23:35Speaker 2: on their own experiences and perspective, even if those views
- 23:39Speaker 2: are not objectively or universally true.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Correct.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so that's the doesn't mean it's true. Doesn't
- 23:47Speaker 2: mean it's true. So I don't want to hear your truth.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Your brain plays tricks on you all the time. We
- 23:55Speaker 1: can all be guilty of remembering how something happened, or
- 23:58Speaker 1: you could just be a flat out liar.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Yeah, what about just saying the truth?
- 24:04Speaker 1: About just saying how about just owning it? How about
- 24:07Speaker 1: just saying that's what I did. I followed the guy
- 24:11Speaker 1: because I wanted information about you. That's what I did.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Grant it's not going to look the best, but whatever.
- 24:19Speaker 2: But then Tama tells everybody she spoke with Katie and
- 24:21Speaker 2: is planning to meet with her. Something in her gut
- 24:24Speaker 2: tells her that Gretchen told Katie that Tama drugged her
- 24:27Speaker 2: and went to the hospital. Emily now says she is
- 24:31Speaker 2: hurt that Tama's meeting up with her. How do you
- 24:34Speaker 2: feel about Emily being upset at Tama for meeting with Katie.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I don't think Emily should be upset with Tama. I
- 24:40Speaker 1: think Tamara needs disclosure and needs to know this, And
- 24:43Speaker 1: it's got nothing to do with Emily's meeting Emily. I mean,
- 24:47Speaker 1: she's not meeting Katie to become friends with her. She's
- 24:50Speaker 1: not meeting Katie to go against Emily or find something
- 24:53Speaker 1: out about Emily. She's meeting her for herself and something
- 24:57Speaker 1: that she needs to know for sure.
- 24:59Speaker 2: I mean, Tamar made an excellent point and that when
- 25:02Speaker 2: they were all fine to sit around with Gretchen who
- 25:04Speaker 2: was saying Tama drugged her and also that Tamar had
- 25:07Speaker 2: an affair. But she can't meet with Katie.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I'm so like not into that, Like I'm
- 25:13Speaker 1: not buying that she can meet with Katie as she
- 25:15Speaker 1: did yesterday and posted huh.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I didn't even see that then, So much for that.
- 25:28Speaker 1: And anyway, you guys all don't what he's all worried about.
- 25:31Speaker 1: So what if she meets with Katie and then Katie
- 25:34Speaker 1: turns on her, that's on her. Yeah, he do you
- 25:37Speaker 1: care if she wants to meet.
- 25:39Speaker 2: She wants more information because clearly Gretcher's which clearly Gretcher's
- 25:46Speaker 2: isn't being honest.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Yeah, there's not one person there that would not do
- 25:52Speaker 1: that for their own information.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Sorry, And I feel like, how come I didn't ask
- 25:59Speaker 1: Tamra if Katie told her what she needed to know? Fuck,
- 26:03Speaker 1: you'll get the information.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I'll get it. I'll get it for us.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Then will you text me or can tem? Can someone
- 26:09Speaker 1: tell me? Was it at a productive lunch? That's all
- 26:12Speaker 1: I want to know? She got a hammer? She did
- 26:18Speaker 1: she get? Was it worth the abuse that she took going? However,
- 26:23Speaker 1: Tamora should sit there and say, none of you fucking
- 26:25Speaker 1: guys trust me anyway? So what do I have to
- 26:27Speaker 1: lose your friend?
- 26:29Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 26:29Speaker 1: Because when you're my friend, there is no more I'm
- 26:37Speaker 1: nothing offends me more than you telling me you don't
- 26:41Speaker 1: trust me. Then somebody does that doesn't trust me. I'm
- 26:44Speaker 1: offended because guess what if you're accusing me of that,
- 26:47Speaker 1: maybe I shouldn't trust you.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Right. Then, tamar tells Heather that this is the last
- 27:04Speaker 2: time she will film after what Heather did to her.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Tamra says, Emily told her Heather doesn't trust her. Heather
- 27:10Speaker 2: says she is hurt by her She brings up the
- 27:14Speaker 2: ground links conversation, and she brings up the comments about
- 27:18Speaker 2: her dad, the about how yeah, and how that's what
- 27:28Speaker 2: she was meaning. Do you believe that I believe that
- 27:34Speaker 2: Heather was trying to share a moment with Tama about
- 27:39Speaker 2: her family and how she's affected and as much as
- 27:43Speaker 2: I hate to use the word triggered by certain responses, Yes,
- 27:49Speaker 2: but I don't know that I necessarily believe she would
- 27:54Speaker 2: have said that Tamar's the person she trusts the least
- 27:57Speaker 2: if Tamar what had been sitting there.
- 28:02Speaker 1: She said it pretty freely. Yeah, she didn't hesitate, she
- 28:07Speaker 1: didn't say, oh jeez, let me think about it. She
- 28:11Speaker 1: just I knew. I I think I don't. I don't
- 28:17Speaker 1: find a lot of things Heather did so really horrible
- 28:22Speaker 1: this season, And you couldn't agree. Yeah, I think I
- 28:25Speaker 1: think Tamora is very sensitive and I felt like I
- 28:28Speaker 1: think she felt she was on an island by herself.
- 28:31Speaker 1: I think Heather tried at times to really be there
- 28:35Speaker 1: for her. But this whole thing rub me the wrong way. Yeah.
- 28:40Speaker 2: I didn't like it either. I did not like it
- 28:42Speaker 2: one bet, and I felt like it was mean. It
- 28:48Speaker 2: was me.
- 28:49Speaker 1: You know my import. What I would have said to
- 28:52Speaker 1: everybody there is you know what, I love all you girls,
- 28:56Speaker 1: but there isn't one here sitting here that I would
- 28:58Speaker 1: actually want to share my deepest darkness with, because at
- 29:02Speaker 1: some point you're probably going to turn on me. If
- 29:05Speaker 1: I piss you off, you'll anybody will probably bring it up,
- 29:08Speaker 1: and everybody has shown to do that.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Yeah, there was an easy way to answer that question
- 29:14Speaker 2: without singling out one person.
- 29:16Speaker 1: There was a diplomatic way correct and if somebody cared
- 29:21Speaker 1: enough to give it some thought. I think she was
- 29:23Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you the truth. I think she
- 29:25Speaker 1: was mad at Tamora when she said that. Yeah, I
- 29:28Speaker 1: think she's holding some grudges for her yelling at her.
- 29:33Speaker 2: And you know, yeah, because I think because I do
- 29:36Speaker 2: think Tamara and Heather are close.
- 29:38Speaker 1: They are close, and I think that I think that
- 29:42Speaker 1: Heather is holding some resentment towards Tamra and that's why
- 29:47Speaker 1: she said it so easily. She might believe it and
- 29:49Speaker 1: she might mean it. I could be wrong, but I
- 29:52Speaker 1: think that Heather finds other ways to answer things without
- 29:56Speaker 1: giving actual answer, and I think she could have done
- 29:59Speaker 1: it here too.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Yeah, she could have actually done it a lot differently,
- 30:03Speaker 2: because I think it just started the whole evening off
- 30:07Speaker 2: wrong and made everything This is a hard episode for
- 30:11Speaker 2: us to even talk about, guys, and we love to talk.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm told you. I didn't. I'm so happy to
- 30:17Speaker 1: see you. I was not interested in talking about this
- 30:20Speaker 1: episode right now, and we started off with the best
- 30:22Speaker 1: news ever, So how bad could it be from here?
- 30:25Speaker 1: After hearing that you're okay, everything else is very trivial
- 30:29Speaker 1: to me.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Well, thank you, thank you. Then Gina and Heather sit
- 30:33Speaker 2: down to continue their conversation. Heather wants to be surrounded
- 30:36Speaker 2: by people who emotionally support her and thought that that
- 30:39Speaker 2: was Gina. Gina apologizes. I will say Gina going up
- 30:44Speaker 2: against Heather and making Heather work a little for her
- 30:47Speaker 2: check this season, even though Heather did have a right
- 30:52Speaker 2: to be upset.
- 30:55Speaker 1: So I'm going to tell you why Gina got so offended,
- 31:00Speaker 1: Because Gina was like, why do you so? Why is
- 31:03Speaker 1: it when I do it it's so bad? Why do
- 31:06Speaker 1: you come hard on me when everybody else sitting there
- 31:10Speaker 1: was saying it and she's not wrong, but she was.
- 31:12Speaker 2: The one kind of saying it the most.
- 31:14Speaker 1: She was she's like, I don't think she's funny. I
- 31:17Speaker 1: just don't think who thinks she's funny? Like I don't
- 31:19Speaker 1: think she's funny. Like that's what Gina was saying.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like, uhh, but she does know that
- 31:29Speaker 2: she was like a sitcom actor and she knew those things,
- 31:33Speaker 2: and if she wants to better herself and she wants
- 31:35Speaker 2: to go in and do something new, like there could
- 31:39Speaker 2: have been a bet they could have made one little
- 31:42Speaker 2: comment like, oh, that's interesting. Never thought she was that funny,
- 31:46Speaker 2: But I.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Can't believe it. Hey, listen, Yeah, yeah, I think anybody
- 31:51Speaker 1: who's smart and witty could be a comedian. I think
- 31:54Speaker 1: you have to have a brain, which I think Heather has.
- 31:56Speaker 1: She could be witty, and I think that it'll be
- 32:00Speaker 1: just fine. I mean, she's been in the game a while.
- 32:03Speaker 1: We forget because she's on the Housewife. She did do
- 32:05Speaker 1: this stuff.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and she did have to audition to get into
- 32:09Speaker 2: the Groundlings exactly, so it's not like they just let
- 32:13Speaker 2: anybody in.
- 32:14Speaker 1: So you know what, Heather, I'm going to let you
- 32:16Speaker 1: know that I will come to one of your shows
- 32:18Speaker 1: when you become a comedian.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Only one haha.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Well, I've never gone to see Lawan's show. There's a
- 32:26Speaker 1: few shows I've never gone to see. But I am
- 32:29Speaker 1: going to go out on the limb, Heather and tell
- 32:31Speaker 1: you that I will even fly to come see you.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Okay, I love it. I love it.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Only if you make up with Tamra, because I'm not
- 32:40Speaker 1: getting Tamra madt me.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I don't. Nobody wants that. Then Tama brings
- 32:44Speaker 2: up the screenshots to the group. Jen initially denies following
- 32:47Speaker 2: him for nefarious reasons, but in her confessional she says
- 32:51Speaker 2: she was hoping the guy would say something once he
- 32:53Speaker 2: saw Jen follow him. The fact that Jen tried to
- 32:57Speaker 2: make an issue out of the screenshot being printed and
- 32:59Speaker 2: waiting until her talking head to admit she wanted info
- 33:03Speaker 2: like your mask is slipping gen like Jen, Jen Jen.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I don't know that Jen can handle being a housewife,
- 33:21Speaker 1: a well rounded housewife, like she could handle getting like
- 33:26Speaker 1: piled up on. But I don't know that she could.
- 33:29Speaker 1: She's tough enough to come back because she doesn't handle
- 33:31Speaker 1: it well, do you know what I'm saying?
- 33:33Speaker 2: Well, because she just doesn't in the moment, she doesn't
- 33:37Speaker 2: fight back, right, she.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Doesn't fight back in the moment, and then when she
- 33:42Speaker 1: goes and tries to do something, it just she looks bad.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and then she can't handle it.
- 33:49Speaker 1: She can't handle it.
- 33:49Speaker 2: She can't.
- 33:50Speaker 1: You're not a fighter, Jen, so just be what you are, yeah,
- 33:56Speaker 1: just right, Yeah, or just to say like, yeah, that's
- 34:00Speaker 1: what I did. I did it.
- 34:02Speaker 2: I did do it, and I wanted to see why.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I wanted to stalk him. But you can stock somebody
- 34:08Speaker 2: without following them.
- 34:11Speaker 1: And anyway, duh, get a fucking fensta.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, but you don't even need that. It's
- 34:17Speaker 2: not like he's private. He's a public figure, so you
- 34:20Speaker 2: can just go on his page and look, what did
- 34:23Speaker 2: he think? She was like she was hoping he was
- 34:26Speaker 2: going to reach out to her.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Oh yeah, let me reach out to you about something.
- 34:35Speaker 1: You know.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Ridiculous.
- 34:36Speaker 1: It's a ridiculous nonsense that I don't want any part
- 34:40Speaker 1: of gossip.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Like what, there's no sense.
- 34:44Speaker 1: That's why I'm saying. It's like amateur moves. Don't be
- 34:47Speaker 1: something you're not. Don't try to be it's not gonna work.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Then we watch a lot of awkward cake making, which
- 34:53Speaker 2: I was surprised by. Some How some of the cakes
- 34:56Speaker 2: turned out looking so good.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I know, I you know, that's a really a little
- 35:04Speaker 1: thing I would have enjoyed. That's why I was mad
- 35:07Speaker 1: that she had a ruin And when she walked in Emily,
- 35:11Speaker 1: couldn't we get the cake shit going?
- 35:13Speaker 2: Get the cake shit going? Then fight outside later with
- 35:16Speaker 2: some champs. Thank you, that's what.
- 35:19Speaker 1: We need over whose cake was better? Let's start with
- 35:22Speaker 1: that fight and then digress onto the real problems.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't need all that. Then Tamar starts crying
- 35:30Speaker 2: to Heather about how Heather can't trust her, and Heather
- 35:33Speaker 2: feels like Tamar gets angry when she talks about her feelings,
- 35:36Speaker 2: and then Tamar says she's dealing with a difficult thing
- 35:39Speaker 2: and Heather is not helping. Heather says they should talk
- 35:43Speaker 2: about it at another time, and Tamar says, have a
- 35:46Speaker 2: great season, walks off upstairs. Tam no more walking off
- 35:52Speaker 2: and quit, No more.
- 35:54Speaker 1: That's it, you know, Tamra, This isn't This isn't how
- 35:57Speaker 1: we do things. This isn't how we get things done.
- 36:01Speaker 2: No. So, so, all in all, what do we even
- 36:04Speaker 2: have to say about this episode? It sucked, Yeah, it
- 36:09Speaker 2: really sucks.
- 36:10Speaker 1: I don't really have a lot to say except that.
- 36:13Speaker 2: No, this was a painful episode to reach.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Oh everything about it sucked, the poor kid going to
- 36:22Speaker 1: the Marines, fainting when he's getting insane, like we can't.
- 36:26Speaker 2: It was at one moment where I was like, ooh,
- 36:28Speaker 2: this makes me so happy. The entire thing sucked.
- 36:33Speaker 1: It sucked. It just everything about it really just.
- 36:36Speaker 2: I mean even Emily's son thought it sucked because they
- 36:39Speaker 2: didn't deliver as cheese pizza. They gave him pepperoni. He
- 36:43Speaker 2: thought it sucked too.
- 36:44Speaker 1: He agreed.
- 36:45Speaker 2: So yeah, so, you know, to say about it, we
- 36:49Speaker 2: thought it felt that.
- 36:50Speaker 1: I hope the next episode you could. You're only as
- 36:52Speaker 1: good as your last episode, so we have some more
- 36:54Speaker 1: to go before the reunion. The union hasn't filmed yet,
- 36:59Speaker 1: and we'll see what happens, but we need some redemption
- 37:03Speaker 1: from this episode. Hate to tell you.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, we do. We do. Thanks guys for
- 37:09Speaker 2: tuning in to another episode of to Teas in a Pod.
- 37:12Speaker 2: We appreciate you, guys, We appreciate you.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Thank you
