- 0:27Hey, everybody. Good morning from the chicken
- 0:30coop. So it has often been said that
- 0:33a. Foolish man shares his problems.
- 0:37And boy oh boy, isn't that true. When you start talking about
- 0:42your problems and you start complaining about things and you
- 0:46start that. Wheel in, roll it in motion.
- 0:50It's very hard to. Stop it and people whether they
- 0:53will tell you. The truth or not, believe that
- 0:56you. Are a complainer.
- 0:58I don't care what people tell you.
- 1:01It's the case. Now, I'm not saying you can't
- 1:02share your problem in if it's in the right environment.
- 1:05I'm not saying that at all. But what I'm saying is when you
- 1:09go and you complain about something, you can't take those.
- 1:12Words back When you tell someone something, the toothpaste is
- 1:16out. Of the tube, my friends, and
- 1:18it's not going back. Years and years ago, I was
- 1:23dating a man in college. And I complained to my mother
- 1:27about him, I said. Oh, he's, you know, he he's just
- 1:31so arrogant. He thinks he knows everything.
- 1:34And I went on this whole tirade about who he was as a person.
- 1:40And then of course, as as life would have it.
- 1:44You know, I was still dating him.
- 1:47And I had to. Introduce my mother to him.
- 1:50She had not met him at that point, but I was just
- 1:52complaining about him and I would regularly complain about
- 1:55him. And then I brought him over and
- 1:58I said, oh, you know, I'm going to come by want you to be able
- 2:00to meet him. And my mother was not nice to
- 2:03him. Now, anyone who knows or knew my
- 2:06mother before she passed. Away knew that my mother was
- 2:09nice to everybody, but I had done such an excellent job of
- 2:13complaining about him that my mother could not see him.
- 2:17In any other light other than the light that I painted him,
- 2:20and it jaded her perspective. And I wasn't going.
- 2:24To be able to undo that, I had done it.
- 2:27I complained to the point where my mother had accepted that as
- 2:30the. Reality now I was very young.
- 2:33Maybe he was some of those things.
- 2:34Maybe I was a lot to handle. I've been told I'm extra extra.
- 2:38So, you know, maybe it was me. Maybe it was just.
- 2:42The timing of who he was. At that point in his life, and
- 2:46maybe it was the timing of who I was at that point, but the.
- 2:50Point of the story, my friends, is that because?
- 2:53I did such an excellent job of complaining about it.
- 2:57It was it. And it was ugly and it was
- 3:01unnecessary, and I didn't need to do any of that.
- 2:58It cast a shadow of. And over time, I know every
- 3:07single one of us listening right now is absolutely able to recall
- 3:12a point, a pinnacle shift. When you did the same thing and
- 3:16you know I shouldn't have said anything, I should have just
- 3:20kept quiet. Or you know, if you're in a
- 3:22relationship with someone and you are not enjoying your
- 3:25relationship and you complain to people around you about that
- 3:29person. And then you still see them.
- 3:32You never end the relationship. They know you're unhappy and
- 3:36they'll always come up to you. Even if you're in a happy
- 3:39moment, they'll come up to you and they'll go.
- 3:41So how's it going? Are you guys OK now?
- 3:44I know it's really rough and they're doing it because they
- 3:48want to be caring most of the time.
- 3:50Sometimes they like to be pot stores and they want to see
- 3:53people in pain. And and there are those people
- 3:55out there, my friends, they're there, but in most cases they're
- 3:58trying to be nice. But you're in.
- 4:00Like, I'm in a good head space right now.
- 4:02It's good. And you try to shut it down, but
- 4:04they don't let you because you've set the tone.
- 4:08You've set the tone. Over the years I have really
- 4:12cultivated this. I do not complain about things.
- 4:15I do not complain because if I complain, it's not only out
- 4:20there to manifest and grow and fester and become something
- 4:24bigger because I'm putting energy to it.
- 4:27It's also I'm giving other people permission to know what's
- 4:30in my head at the darkest of times.
- 4:32And I don't think that that's helpful.
- 4:34It's not going to help me heal it.
- 4:36Now, that's not to say you can't go and talk about things to
- 4:39someone who's going to help you shift out of it, whether it's a
- 4:42therapist, whether it's a psychiatrist, whether it's a
- 4:45code, whatever. Of course, in the right
- 4:48environments you should do those things.
- 4:51If it's a trusted person who's not just going to hold you, you
- 4:55know, hostage for the one moment or the multiple moments you have
- 4:59about a subject and and they're going to help you, great.
- 5:03But what I'm talking about is just that chronic complaining
- 5:06that sets a tone. And it's not a tone that you
- 5:09want to keep. So you've got to be careful with
- 5:12it. Watch out for it and don't be a
- 5:14foolish man sharing his problems.
- 5:16Stop that, own it and do something to fix it.
- 5:21Alright my friends, I will talk to you tomorrow and I hope you
- 5:23have a blessed day. Bye.
