- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. It's Lala Kent.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Welcome to Untraditionally, Lala Hey bids, It's Lala Kent, Welcome
- 0:07Speaker 2: back to untraditionally Laala Easton Birmingham is up in the villain.
- 0:13Speaker 1: How's it going?
- 0:14Speaker 3: How you feeling?
- 0:15Speaker 1: I'm here, I'm here. Can I just tell you, guys,
- 0:20Speaker 1: what a fantastic birthday party that I threw for my baby.
- 0:27Speaker 1: So this is how it started, you guys. What I
- 0:29Speaker 1: was going to do was take ocean and have her
- 0:33Speaker 1: birthday at like an equestrian center. And I was praying
- 0:37Speaker 1: to God that I could get her to co sign
- 0:40Speaker 1: on the theme being Brave. I would have settled for
- 0:43Speaker 1: all Disney princesses because most of them ride horses, but
- 0:48Speaker 1: I really wanted Brave, just because I like the message
- 0:50Speaker 1: in Brave. She's like, I'll be fighting for my own hand.
- 0:54Speaker 1: She doesn't want to get married, She's like, fuck your mom,
- 0:58Speaker 1: I haven't. She wants to ride horse and shoot her
- 1:01Speaker 1: bow and arrow, and I like it.
- 1:03Speaker 4: I have only seen a little bit of a movie,
- 1:04Speaker 4: but isn't that where she shoots the boat?
- 1:07Speaker 1: All the guys come to like shoot because they want
- 1:10Speaker 1: to trying to woo them with the hitting a bulls eye,
- 1:14Speaker 1: and then she gets up there and shoots the bull
- 1:16Speaker 1: and that's when she drops the line that she'll be
- 1:18Speaker 1: fighting for her own hands. And then her mom turns
- 1:22Speaker 1: into a bear. It's a movie. It's fantastic, it's so good.
- 1:26Speaker 1: So I was hoping that she would want Breathe theme,
- 1:28Speaker 1: and I was going to give her a miniature horse
- 1:32Speaker 1: as a Harby and they'll poe me as her birthday gift.
- 1:37Speaker 1: And we're driving in the car one day and keep
- 1:40Speaker 1: in mind the following day is when I'm going to
- 1:42Speaker 1: see the space and like lock it down and I'm
- 1:44Speaker 1: gonna like talk to them about keeping the miniature horse
- 1:48Speaker 1: there and whatnot. She says to me, Mom, Sosa has
- 1:53Speaker 1: way better birthday parties than I have. By the way,
- 1:56Speaker 1: she's had one party, one fucking party in her life.
- 2:01Speaker 1: She has way better birthday parties than I do. And
- 2:03Speaker 1: I was like what I was like, And then I
- 2:06Speaker 1: showed her when we got home. I showed her every
- 2:09Speaker 1: birthday party she's ever had and how fabulous they've been.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Of course she didn't remember, because you don't even start
- 2:14Speaker 1: making memories until you're older six No. Five Ocean remembers
- 2:18Speaker 1: living at the apartment, and she was.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Like, yeah, but like, will those same sade as she
- 2:24Speaker 4: gets older, Like when she hits ten, will she only
- 2:26Speaker 4: remember being five, not five, remember being two? That could happen.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm no scientist.
- 2:31Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I don't know how you compute and then like separate.
- 2:35Speaker 4: But the one thing that I do, we tell her
- 2:40Speaker 4: because I feel like she kind of tell.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Her what about the like hey, did you know? No, no, no,
- 2:47Speaker 1: we don't tell her. You freaking you would have got
- 2:49Speaker 1: a horse. So I asked her, what about Sosa's party party,
- 2:54Speaker 1: because there's only been one was better than all the
- 2:58Speaker 1: other birthday parties, and she said she had a bouncy house,
- 3:01Speaker 1: a ball pit and a slide, and that was like
- 3:03Speaker 1: that's all you want. Wow, I'm one hundred percent not
- 3:07Speaker 1: buying a fucking miniature horse. Figuring out where to house
- 3:11Speaker 1: this thing, how to feed this thing? Ah, and then
- 3:16Speaker 1: like forcing you to have a brave birthday party. So
- 3:19Speaker 1: she settled on K pop demon Hunters. That was the
- 3:23Speaker 1: theme that she kept going back to. So I knew
- 3:25Speaker 1: that my party planner, her name's Audrey. She has picnic
- 3:29Speaker 1: and pedal and she's done every single birthday party that
- 3:33Speaker 1: I have had for my kids, and they're always fantastic.
- 3:35Speaker 1: So I was like, you're the theme is K Pop
- 3:37Speaker 1: Demon Hunters. It's going to be in the backyard. All
- 3:40Speaker 1: I know is she wants a slide, a ball pit,
- 3:43Speaker 1: and a bouncy house. And she was like, great, we
- 3:45Speaker 1: can also do like teacups that spin around. I was like, great, perfect,
- 3:50Speaker 1: whatever you can fit in the backyard, let's do it.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I don't know why I have such a high level
- 3:56Speaker 1: of anxiety when it comes to throwing a child's party,
- 3:58Speaker 1: but there's just like a tremendous amount of pressure. You
- 4:01Speaker 1: hope that everything goes well. The Russians came into town.
- 4:06Speaker 1: It was fabulous. We had a full house. Ocean got
- 4:09Speaker 1: to play with Sailor, which is one of the Russing kids.
- 4:14Speaker 1: He has a girlfriend who has a five year old
- 4:17Speaker 1: and Sailor and Ocean played beautifully. They were so cute.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Day of the party. You guys, we don't have weather.
- 4:24Speaker 1: We don't have weather, Are you joking? It's like Groundhog's
- 4:26Speaker 1: Day out here. We barely today. It decides that it
- 4:31Speaker 1: wants to just like be a windy lady. She was
- 4:33Speaker 1: a windy lady. I'm watching the party planner set up
- 4:37Speaker 1: and everything is blowry into.
- 4:38Speaker 3: The pool a cookie with him. It was in its wrapper,
- 4:42Speaker 3: thank god.
- 4:42Speaker 4: But I caught the cookie right when it went in,
- 4:44Speaker 4: and then we put the plates back inside.
- 4:46Speaker 1: No, it was we decided to abort mean and I
- 4:48Speaker 1: keeping the plates out with the cookies on them. I
- 4:50Speaker 1: was like, I don't care about the aesthetic, Like, let's
- 4:52Speaker 1: just like get everything that's necessary set out and we'll
- 4:54Speaker 1: just keep the cookies inside. Anyway, wind stops perfect timing,
- 4:59Speaker 1: perfect timing the entire party. No wind, a nice little
- 5:03Speaker 1: breeze that was coming through to keep everyone cool. Yeah.
- 5:07Speaker 3: The K Pop demon Hunters, Oh.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Fuck you guys. My mom found these K pop demon
- 5:14Speaker 1: Hunter chicks to come. They entertained the entire time. It
- 5:21Speaker 1: was only a two hour party.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Yeah, and I get anxiety, so I hide a lot.
- 5:27Speaker 4: So I went upstairs and watched TV and then would
- 5:29Speaker 4: meander down. But those K pop girls, whenever they got
- 5:33Speaker 4: paid triple it, they they handled the whole party. I
- 5:37Speaker 4: like literally sat inside and ate tacos. Yeah, they were
- 5:40Speaker 4: like Cynthia's family.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Cynthia is ocean, and so says nanny her family caters.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Oh my god, it is the best Mexican food I've
- 5:51Speaker 1: ever had in my life.
- 5:52Speaker 4: We're gonna have to get there. I want to drop
- 5:53Speaker 4: the catering their catering name though, so I for every party, No,
- 5:59Speaker 4: I know, but if other people want them to, because
- 6:01Speaker 4: they really are amazing in the LA area.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeah, And I was thinking, I'm like, do we do
- 6:05Speaker 1: noodles to stay on them? I don't care. What's great
- 6:11Speaker 1: about a kid's party though, that I was thinking about
- 6:14Speaker 1: is as parents, like, we all know the drill, right,
- 6:17Speaker 1: It's like, really love having the kids at home. It
- 6:20Speaker 1: is nice as they get older to start sending them
- 6:22Speaker 1: to school. But then the weekend rules around and you're like,
- 6:25Speaker 1: what the fuck am I supposed to do with my
- 6:27Speaker 1: kids for two straight days to keep them entertained but
- 6:32Speaker 1: also run them into the ground so they're exhausted.
- 6:35Speaker 2: So we had.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Meanwhile trying to do everything you guys have to you know,
- 6:38Speaker 4: all you moms and stuff have to do.
- 6:40Speaker 3: It's like, I holy shit.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Sometimes it makes you wonder why people have kids. No,
- 6:48Speaker 1: I mean.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I don't have kids, but I get why people do.
- 6:53Speaker 1: No, I get why it is the most fulfilling thing
- 6:56Speaker 1: I have ever done in my life. Yeah, when I
- 6:58Speaker 1: look at my days, you take them out of it,
- 7:01Speaker 1: I'm like, what would I what is my purpose in life? Yeah?
- 7:06Speaker 4: No, I really want a child. I feel like there's
- 7:09Speaker 4: it brings. Having just being an uncle to four has
- 7:13Speaker 4: been like it's made me like a better human. Like
- 7:16Speaker 4: there's little things that I do where it would be
- 7:18Speaker 4: like and I know it sounds silly, but like I'm like,
- 7:20Speaker 4: as a like a hands on you know uncle, would
- 7:25Speaker 4: they be proud of this?
- 7:26Speaker 3: No, so I don't do it.
- 7:29Speaker 4: So there's little things or like even ocean, Like the
- 7:31Speaker 4: way ocean keeps me in check is unreal. Like I
- 7:34Speaker 4: was talking to somebody and I even thought like like
- 7:37Speaker 4: I could have been nicer.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You know.
- 7:39Speaker 4: There's just little things where I'm like I could have
- 7:41Speaker 4: been better or nicer because they have taught me patients
- 7:44Speaker 4: and things like that where I'm like, Wow, that's why
- 7:46Speaker 4: you have kids.
- 7:47Speaker 3: It's almost to better yourself.
- 7:49Speaker 1: No, and by the way, I was totally no, but
- 7:52Speaker 1: kids are the most incredible thing.
- 7:55Speaker 4: What you're saying, Like after you drop them off and
- 7:56Speaker 4: you're picking them off, You're like, what the hell is
- 7:58Speaker 4: going on here?
- 7:59Speaker 1: Just like to be emotional part of it and just
- 8:02Speaker 1: logistic whise I say, Okay, so I'm expected to wake up,
- 8:05Speaker 1: get my kids ready and to school, and then I'm
- 8:07Speaker 1: going to go work a nine to five job, and
- 8:10Speaker 1: then at the end of it, I'm going to be
- 8:11Speaker 1: fucking exhausted. But there's no time to be exhausted because
- 8:14Speaker 1: I got to get home, get my family fed.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Get kissner.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Then I got to clean up everything and start again
- 8:22Speaker 1: the next day having kids, seeing that I need to
- 8:24Speaker 1: get done that I could get done on the weekend
- 8:26Speaker 1: because I don't work. That can't happen because I have kids.
- 8:31Speaker 4: It's just no being a parent. Anybody who can become
- 8:35Speaker 4: a mom or a dad. We know that being a
- 8:36Speaker 4: parent is like one of the most difficult and I'll
- 8:43Speaker 4: say joyous, but also like one of the most I'm
- 8:47Speaker 4: trying to think of the word selfless things because you
- 8:50Speaker 4: never are thinking of yourself.
- 8:51Speaker 1: You can't. Yeah, you absolutely cannot. Your whole world changes
- 8:55Speaker 1: you like sleeping in You better kiss that shit, go bye.
- 9:10Speaker 1: My mother the other day, I think we talked about
- 9:11Speaker 1: this already, but my mom makes fun of the what
- 9:14Speaker 1: time I go to bed, And let's be real, like
- 9:16Speaker 1: I need like at least twelve hours in the bed.
- 9:19Speaker 1: But I'm only sleeping for probably six seven just to unwind.
- 9:25Speaker 1: But there was a day that she had to wake
- 9:27Speaker 1: up to go to the doctor's office at six thirty
- 9:30Speaker 1: and she she wakes up and she's like, there'shmbe She
- 9:33Speaker 1: looks at me and goes, why are you awake?
- 9:34Speaker 3: I was like, this is the day.
- 9:36Speaker 1: The day has started. That's why she at theb came home,
- 9:41Speaker 1: came home at eleven, took a nap from noon till three,
- 9:46Speaker 1: wakes up. She's like, I'm exhausted. I was like, are you.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I was like, I never want to hear She was,
- 9:51Speaker 1: I'm going to bed so early tonight. Like I never
- 9:54Speaker 1: granted she's sixty five, but I'm like, I don't want
- 9:56Speaker 1: to hear one more word of you making fun of me.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Go going up to my room at seven thirty to
- 10:01Speaker 1: start just unwinding. Well and there, because that's the difference.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Well, I don't think mom sees the difference, because yes,
- 10:08Speaker 4: you go up to your room at seven. I go
- 10:10Speaker 4: over to my house. My house is no different than
- 10:13Speaker 4: you in your room. Yeah, Like I go over there, I'll.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Turn on TV. I like, will do a little bit
- 10:20Speaker 3: of my hair.
- 10:21Speaker 4: I'll put in some like scalp trees make fun to
- 10:23Speaker 4: just like yeah, I'll do like like I have the
- 10:27Speaker 4: little eye mask, so I'll do those, and then I'll
- 10:29Speaker 4: watch like Formula one racing like that just came out
- 10:32Speaker 4: Drive to Survive, like, I'll watch that. And then before
- 10:35Speaker 4: you know it, it's like ten o'clock and I'm like, oh,
- 10:37Speaker 4: I need to go to bed like I've.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Been doing of dicking around. I have them and I
- 10:43Speaker 1: set the lighting perfectly. I turned like both of my
- 10:46Speaker 1: little my little like hanging pendant lights on and the
- 10:50Speaker 1: room looks gorgeous, and I'm like, oh, I'm going to
- 10:53Speaker 1: do a little face mask. Maybe then derma play in
- 10:56Speaker 1: my face. Maybe I'll do a hair mask. Red light.
- 10:59Speaker 1: See that monitor and she's dead asleep and I go
- 11:02Speaker 1: down and Ocean's out asleep. The level of euphoria that experience,
- 11:07Speaker 1: it is mind blowing. Oh the best. Anyway, That's why
- 11:13Speaker 1: you take kids to birthday parties to tucker them the
- 11:16Speaker 1: fuck out so you can go and have a night.
- 11:19Speaker 1: You can go and get into your room by seven thirty.
- 11:23Speaker 1: And if you're in a partnership, little sex.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Have sex at seven thirty done by eight Now you.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Can pour anyway.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Done by midnight.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Clam slam for eight hours.
- 11:36Speaker 3: No clam slam.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I'm repulsed. So before Ocean's birthday party, I don't think
- 11:44Speaker 1: I told you this story. You're gonna fucking lose your mind.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Well what did she do?
- 11:49Speaker 1: So Bart, we told you guys on the lat or
- 11:52Speaker 1: one of the pods that like, Bart is the dad
- 11:55Speaker 1: Russon and of the of the clan, and he and
- 11:58Speaker 1: my dad were very close. So Ocean is sitting next
- 12:01Speaker 1: to Bart, who she calls Pop, and we were talking
- 12:06Speaker 1: about Poppy, our dad, and Bart's like, yeah, I loved
- 12:13Speaker 1: Poppy and like telling her all about him. She goes, yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 1: but he's dead. And I was like, Ocean, that's very insensitive.
- 12:22Speaker 1: She was how did he die? And so we're walking
- 12:26Speaker 1: her through like Papy had health issues, but you know what,
- 12:28Speaker 1: he died in his sleep, and she goes, did someone
- 12:31Speaker 1: find him? I go said, found him? It was very
- 12:35Speaker 1: sad and devastating. She goes, it died is devastating. She goes,
- 12:38Speaker 1: so then what happened? And we were like, we don't know.
- 12:40Speaker 1: He just he had health issues and he didn't wake up.
- 12:42Speaker 1: She goes, I think I know what happened. Mom. Someone
- 12:45Speaker 1: shot him. I go ocean. That is a horrible thing
- 12:52Speaker 1: to say. No one shot him, and she goes. People
- 12:55Speaker 1: don't just not wake up, mom, People don't just not
- 12:58Speaker 1: wake up.
- 13:00Speaker 3: You're a young one, lad, he'll know.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Do you want to know why those who was teaching
- 13:06Speaker 1: her this? How does she know about that?
- 13:08Speaker 4: I don't know, because I thought Lily was going to
- 13:10Speaker 4: be the dry run, but then that was the dry dry.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Run, and she's very I have friends who have kids
- 13:17Speaker 1: and they're like, I don't know how to talk to
- 13:18Speaker 1: my kid about deaths.
- 13:19Speaker 3: I'm like, just get a dog. Got to show him somehow.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I just kind of said it. I was like, yeah,
- 13:25Speaker 1: she died.
- 13:26Speaker 3: What's it called? There was a comedian?
- 13:29Speaker 4: A dog is just a dry run for grandma.
- 13:34Speaker 1: So here's your dog dying. Next is going to be
- 13:36Speaker 1: your grandma prepared. What I'm worried about is how I
- 13:40Speaker 1: made her insensitive to death? Is she desensitized from people
- 13:44Speaker 1: dying because she just throws no, no, no, no no.
- 13:46Speaker 4: I don't think she's desensitized to people dying. I think
- 13:49Speaker 4: she was so young. When Bella died, wasn't even alive
- 13:53Speaker 4: for Dad's.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Passing right now, but she talks about him.
- 13:56Speaker 4: No, But like if she were to have interactions with Poppy,
- 13:59Speaker 4: I think it would be different the way she was
- 14:01Speaker 4: speaking about him now, you know, like dogs are, well,
- 14:04Speaker 4: Bella's dead, like when she grabs her when she has
- 14:09Speaker 4: I don't know, I mean some sort of relationship with
- 14:13Speaker 4: someone who then dies, I think she'll then understand it.
- 14:18Speaker 1: And even with Lily Easton, remember she like gave me
- 14:21Speaker 1: a hug and she was like, I'm so sad Lily's gone.
- 14:24Speaker 1: But then she walked in the room and she's like, mom,
- 14:25Speaker 1: at least you don't have to clean up pea off
- 14:27Speaker 1: the floor anymore.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I was like, it's just a little heartless. I guess.
- 14:30Speaker 3: I don't know. Fuck, I don't know.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Dogs are a.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Little different because it is what it is.
- 14:36Speaker 4: But like if Lily were to die and she'd be like, well,
- 14:39Speaker 4: at least you don't going to do this, and then
- 14:40Speaker 4: Poppy died, maybe she'd be like death is real now
- 14:43Speaker 4: and I really don't like that.
- 14:44Speaker 1: But like she had somebody's such a sweetheart.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Yeah, but like think of that, she has no one
- 14:49Speaker 3: she's loved die.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. You're making me feel a lot better. Yeah,
- 14:57Speaker 1: because when she just threw that out there.
- 14:59Speaker 4: When something happens to desensitize you from what she's talking about, like,
- 15:06Speaker 4: she'll be very desensitized to it.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Wait, what she's desensitized to it? And then she won't
- 15:12Speaker 3: be Okay, said that wrong.
- 15:15Speaker 4: She's desensitized because she hasn't had somebody she had a
- 15:19Speaker 4: relationship with die. Until she does, she will not have
- 15:22Speaker 4: the she won't be sensitized.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Is that it? I don't know. I like whatever you're saying.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I'm a little confused. I feel like I'm reading a
- 15:29Speaker 1: doctor's who's book. I think I've spent too much time
- 15:34Speaker 1: with these damn kids. It's a different human.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Like, No, she's dry. She will hurt your fucking feelings.
- 15:45Speaker 1: No, we're at a light the other day. You guys
- 15:47Speaker 1: are gonna die. We're at a light the other day
- 15:50Speaker 1: and a man passed, and she goes, mom, do you
- 15:54Speaker 1: think that guy's hot? And I go no, I'm okay, babe.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Another guy passes. Do you think that man is hot?
- 16:02Speaker 4: Mom?
- 16:03Speaker 1: I was like no, and then I feel badly, So
- 16:06Speaker 1: I'm like, but let's be very clear, ocean, Like everybody
- 16:09Speaker 1: is beautiful. Everybody is handsome and good looking. I was like,
- 16:12Speaker 1: but there people have types, like and he's not my type.
- 16:16Speaker 1: He's very handsome, but he's just not my type. And
- 16:18Speaker 1: she goes, they're both definitely my type. What what I know?
- 16:26Speaker 3: I need to start lifting bigger weights or just waits
- 16:29Speaker 3: at all.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Oh so you can fight the guy that she brings.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna yeah, I'm a little concerned. And then I
- 16:36Speaker 1: wondered where she was getting it. And she's been obsessed
- 16:38Speaker 1: with K pop demon hunters and the girl falls in love,
- 16:41Speaker 1: like you watch the guys walk in. I've never seen
- 16:44Speaker 1: it until just recently. After her party, the guys walk in,
- 16:48Speaker 1: sasa boys boys. The girls like they start sweating, their
- 16:55Speaker 1: eyes turn into hearts, and then their eyes turn into
- 16:57Speaker 1: popcorn in the shape of abs, and then start popping
- 17:01Speaker 1: popcorn as they're like just drooling over these guys. And
- 17:04Speaker 1: then the two roomy and one of the other guys
- 17:06Speaker 1: falls in love. And I'm like, well, this is where
- 17:09Speaker 1: she's getting it, because she's constantly asking me about a
- 17:12Speaker 1: boyfriend and all of the things. O.
- 17:17Speaker 3: K pop has done that to you, But is it
- 17:20Speaker 3: doing it to other children?
- 17:21Speaker 1: Or do I just have a very specific human on
- 17:23Speaker 1: my hand.
- 17:23Speaker 3: I mean, didn't we watch Pocahontas. She falls in love
- 17:27Speaker 3: I know, actually a devastating all.
- 17:28Speaker 1: She didn't want to be with CoCom He was so
- 17:30Speaker 1: much hotter than John Smith.
- 17:32Speaker 4: John Smith's a dick. John Smith couldn't go fuck his hand. Yeah,
- 17:40Speaker 4: John Smith, I know.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And then he has the audacity to move Pokemonas to
- 17:45Speaker 1: the fucking New World to the white Man Land. You
- 17:49Speaker 1: and like, how would you not like Cocoam with like
- 17:51Speaker 1: the paw the bear paw print is my dad kind
- 17:55Speaker 1: of slapped.
- 17:57Speaker 4: They are and their voices. I watched that and you're like, wow,
- 18:02Speaker 4: to just be that.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Live off the land. Mm hmmm.
- 18:17Speaker 5: I followed this account that talks about all of like
- 18:20Speaker 5: the these iconic Disney movies because obviously they have to
- 18:23Speaker 5: have the disclaim now because different day and age, we've
- 18:26Speaker 5: come so far we have like knowledge and sensitivity.
- 18:31Speaker 1: But I was always drawn to Cocoam. It was my
- 18:34Speaker 1: most favorite. So you saying that, I do understand, like you.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Found that and you were like, why did he even
- 18:39Speaker 4: at that young age?
- 18:41Speaker 1: I had to do with love and the Prince coming
- 18:43Speaker 1: to save the woman.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Talk about another one that not it's not the princess
- 18:48Speaker 4: but Shrek.
- 18:50Speaker 3: She just turns into an ogre. But same thing.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Fell in love, right, yeah, and they chose not to
- 18:56Speaker 1: be human.
- 18:57Speaker 3: That's beautiful. They chose to be ogres for love. Well, no,
- 19:03Speaker 3: he could have been he could have been the man, remember, yeah,
- 19:07Speaker 3: because he turns into one and then Donkey was no,
- 19:10Speaker 3: they would have still been together. And she goes, do
- 19:12Speaker 3: you want to be like this forever? And then then
- 19:14Speaker 3: decided that she said, this isn't the man I fell
- 19:18Speaker 3: in love with. The man I fell in love with
- 19:20Speaker 3: was an ogre, So then they went back to ogres.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I love that movie so great, favorite movie.
- 19:26Speaker 4: Yeah, but like that's what I like. Like, I didn't
- 19:29Speaker 4: fall in love with this beautiful man. I fell in
- 19:31Speaker 4: love with the ogre behind this whatever. I don't care
- 19:34Speaker 4: for this, yes, yeah, I don't care what you like
- 19:40Speaker 4: for days. Yes, totally fucking in the mud.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Let's go go, all right, you had some fun stories
- 19:47Speaker 1: to tell me.
- 19:47Speaker 5: P r P.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Blood dry, I can speak on that. I almost passed out.
- 19:51Speaker 3: I think I'm there with you now.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Oh when they took your blood? Can dude needles anymore?
- 19:56Speaker 1: It's weird though, that we can get tattoos and not
- 19:58Speaker 1: even flinch.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Yeah, because there's not gallons of blood flying out.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Yeah. How many vials did they take? Just one?
- 20:06Speaker 4: I didn't look at it, but let me put it.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Let me set a stage for you guys. Me right here,
- 20:12Speaker 4: countertop full of everyone else's blood.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I'm going to pass away.
- 20:17Speaker 4: So I saw that and I was like, they're starting it,
- 20:19Speaker 4: and I know is that other people's blood?
- 20:21Speaker 3: And she goes yeah for the moment, and I went on,
- 20:23Speaker 3: I hope you don't.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Mix my I thought labeling process work.
- 20:29Speaker 4: So almost pass out in the chair. I'm hanging on
- 20:32Speaker 4: by a thread. They're giving me like water with electrolyzed
- 20:36Speaker 4: I turned gray. I've seen you turn gray. I was correct,
- 20:39Speaker 4: like the color of your hair. Yeah, And she goes,
- 20:42Speaker 4: we're gonna lay you down. I was like, I'm alright.
- 20:44Speaker 4: She goes, no, we're going to lay it down. That
- 20:46Speaker 4: annoys me that you don't advocate for yourself.
- 20:48Speaker 1: When they tell me that they have to draw my blood,
- 20:50Speaker 1: I go, okay, do you have water? I now know
- 20:53Speaker 1: box And they're like if they say no, I'm like,
- 20:56Speaker 1: someone needs to go get one.
- 20:57Speaker 5: NNE.
- 20:57Speaker 1: The only time I've ever had to lay me all
- 20:59Speaker 1: the way down. Also, when it's happening, don't tell me,
- 21:03Speaker 1: don't walk me through it. I don't want to hear.
- 21:05Speaker 1: And now we're just gonna you're gonna feel a poke.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I will pass out. It's a mental thing. So I'm
- 21:09Speaker 1: going to talk to you about my tattoos. I'm going
- 21:12Speaker 1: to talk to you about my day, and that is
- 21:14Speaker 1: all we're focused.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Yeah, guess what I was going to start doing was
- 21:18Speaker 4: like this for myself. Know how like when we go
- 21:21Speaker 4: into lee and they tap, Yeah, it's because like all
- 21:25Speaker 4: your feeling is this pain. But if you're tapping over here, now,
- 21:27Speaker 4: it's like there's two things. So it's what else you
- 21:30Speaker 4: could do? So I did start doing that.
- 21:32Speaker 1: You could put a show on like I always put
- 21:34Speaker 1: sign on me too.
- 21:35Speaker 4: But then so that happened. They lay me down in
- 21:37Speaker 4: a room and then I have to get the injections.
- 21:40Speaker 4: All they did was take my blood to spin it. Yeah,
- 21:42Speaker 4: and I almost passed out. So then they come in.
- 21:44Speaker 4: I was I got four shots, one in the front.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I was upright on the back too. And I did
- 21:51Speaker 3: tell him.
- 21:51Speaker 4: I was like, hey, I'm feeling a little and he
- 21:53Speaker 4: was like, perfect, we'll lay you down and he goes,
- 21:54Speaker 4: but I can do these two laying down now.
- 21:56Speaker 3: So I was like perfect.
- 21:57Speaker 4: So he did it, and then they even like they
- 21:59Speaker 4: gave me treats and stuff like crackers. But I guess
- 22:03Speaker 4: I was not good because even after they were done,
- 22:05Speaker 4: they going. He was like, yeah, we're gonna keep you
- 22:07Speaker 4: for another like ten minutes or so, just so everything,
- 22:09Speaker 4: and like he came and like put my knees up
- 22:11Speaker 4: against you know, I'm on my back, but he put
- 22:13Speaker 4: them up so I could get it was it.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Was wild, you know. When I had to go and
- 22:17Speaker 1: to get my blood taken when I was pregnant with Sosa,
- 22:19Speaker 1: I was just sitting in the chair and I just
- 22:21Speaker 1: remember waking up and they had taken like my I
- 22:25Speaker 1: had this just like sweater on with a shirt underneath.
- 22:27Speaker 1: They had taken my sweater off. My hairline was drenched
- 22:30Speaker 1: in sweat. My t shirt was sweaty, sweaty.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Yep.
- 22:34Speaker 1: They were like, you went down. I was like, yeah,
- 22:37Speaker 1: I don't remember anything.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I was there, That's where I was. But
- 22:42Speaker 4: then I got my PRP shot. Everything's good, shoulders popping
- 22:45Speaker 4: out of place. If you do it, I highly recommend it.
- 22:47Speaker 4: It's the holistic route of going, so no, try there
- 22:52Speaker 4: it is. I was just gonna say it before, and
- 22:54Speaker 4: he even told me. He was like, with what you
- 22:56Speaker 4: have told me, we're going to try this. If we do,
- 22:59Speaker 4: he wants to do two or three treatments, depending on
- 23:01Speaker 4: how I feel. I'm gonna do two for sure. There's
- 23:03Speaker 4: my first one. He was like, if it pops out
- 23:05Speaker 4: again and more, go get an MRI because then.
- 23:08Speaker 3: We are too far gone. So I was like, perfect,
- 23:11Speaker 3: So I'm starting this route. But other than that, I.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Think you're not young enough for this.
- 23:15Speaker 3: But it's all happening in my gay baseball league.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I know how fabulous.
- 23:20Speaker 4: I won the game, guys. I got a walk off single. Yeah.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Game, so we had three games that day.
- 23:26Speaker 1: It wouldn't have happened had Mom and I gone no.
- 23:28Speaker 3: No, no. But so the game is tied, we have
- 23:30Speaker 3: a runner on third. I'm up to bat, two outs.
- 23:33Speaker 4: I can't fuck up, and I hit a single and
- 23:37Speaker 4: we scored a run won the game. As I was
- 23:40Speaker 4: running to first base to win the game, I pulled
- 23:43Speaker 4: my hammy so I couldn't play Game two. And that's
- 23:47Speaker 4: where I'm like anxiety riddled, pissed off. I do not
- 23:50Speaker 4: want to be my mom. I do not want to
- 23:51Speaker 4: be my dad. They both fucking are thirty years older
- 23:55Speaker 4: than what they are.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Because they never moved a muscle. No, we did not
- 24:00Speaker 1: come from a family of active people. My mom always
- 24:04Speaker 1: says that she hates working out. It makes her nauseate,
- 24:06Speaker 1: and I'm like, because you never do it, and you
- 24:07Speaker 1: also forget to breathe while you're doing it. I also
- 24:10Speaker 1: would want to feel like I was going to throw
- 24:11Speaker 1: up and pass out. My dad would much rather sit
- 24:14Speaker 1: on the patio and drink wine or go to a
- 24:16Speaker 1: coffee shop.
- 24:17Speaker 4: It was not was like early drinks and dinners with
- 24:20Speaker 4: friends and then he'd come home to a glass of wine.
- 24:23Speaker 4: I love my dad, Like, there's a lot of things
- 24:26Speaker 4: like he wouldn't throw them all with me.
- 24:27Speaker 1: No, there are things I think that we just grew
- 24:31Speaker 1: up in an active family and for me watching how
- 24:35Speaker 1: both of them were, I worked out back in Utah.
- 24:38Speaker 1: We had like a little home gym downstairs. I was
- 24:40Speaker 1: very adamant that that was going to be how I
- 24:43Speaker 1: started my day. And even now, like my mom will
- 24:47Speaker 1: say to me, because I work out between like seven
- 24:50Speaker 1: and eight seven, is is like my early workout. And
- 24:54Speaker 1: sometimes it throws her for a loop because she's not
- 24:57Speaker 1: a morning person, and she'll say, like, I just don't
- 25:00Speaker 1: know why you can't miss the workout tomorrow because.
- 25:03Speaker 4: I can't be you bitch, because I can't be you bitch.
- 25:10Speaker 1: That would hurt her feelings, it would.
- 25:11Speaker 4: But I would hope she would look at me and go,
- 25:13Speaker 4: you're right, I do not want you to.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Feel like I do.
- 25:16Speaker 1: She's not like, she's not like that, And so I
- 25:19Speaker 1: have to tell her, Mom, this is what makes me
- 25:22Speaker 1: feel good to go and start my day. My body
- 25:26Speaker 1: feels strong. I like that feeling. I like when I
- 25:31Speaker 1: can go and something up and feel like my bicep
- 25:33Speaker 1: is not going to rip off the bone. Yeah, there
- 25:36Speaker 1: are just things that I don't even know why we're
- 25:38Speaker 1: talking about this, How did this come up?
- 25:40Speaker 3: My PRP and all that.
- 25:43Speaker 1: It is important for me that you take control over
- 25:48Speaker 1: doing some sort of activity, because like, you can't end
- 25:53Speaker 1: up like mom and daddy.
- 25:53Speaker 4: No, And that's and that's where I'm like, okay, and
- 25:56Speaker 4: I love being active and like doing little things. Yes,
- 25:59Speaker 4: I know that I'm getting up there in age, but
- 26:00Speaker 4: it's like, okay, I can do a little more to
- 26:05Speaker 4: prevent more injuries, whether that be going outside and putting
- 26:09Speaker 4: a weighted vest on and doing lunges, doing just things
- 26:12Speaker 4: like I just I'm sick of not feeling good and
- 26:15Speaker 4: looking at a mirror of my mom and dad, I'm like,
- 26:18Speaker 4: I need to do more.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yeah, And when people like my mom will say you
- 26:22Speaker 1: don't need to do it tomorrow, you look great, I'm like,
- 26:24Speaker 1: this is I look.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Great because I did it because yesterday and I'm going
- 26:27Speaker 4: to do it today.
- 26:28Speaker 1: But also it's so that's the body that you get
- 26:31Speaker 1: is just the cherry on top. The mental is everything
- 26:34Speaker 1: on top of When I hear my mom say you're
- 26:37Speaker 1: still young, you can do you know, X, Y and Z,
- 26:41Speaker 1: and it's like yes, but let me tell you this.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I was twenty one, I blinked, and now I'm thirty
- 26:48Speaker 1: five with two kids, So we can say I'm young now.
- 26:51Speaker 1: In two point seven seconds, I'm going to be your
- 26:54Speaker 1: fucking age and I'm gonna need to be able to
- 26:58Speaker 1: like keep up.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a song about it once I was seven
- 27:01Speaker 4: years old. Oh that's all makes me sad. Oh that
- 27:04Speaker 4: is so sad. All right, let's move on to a
- 27:06Speaker 4: fun topic.
- 27:07Speaker 1: I have to touch on this before before we sign
- 27:10Speaker 1: off because I died. Florida man claims he was kidnapped
- 27:13Speaker 1: by dolphins and forced to build underwater city. Believe it.
- 27:17Speaker 1: I believe it, Yes, I believe it. Why do you
- 27:23Speaker 1: believe it? He can't breathe underwater for that long?
- 27:27Speaker 4: She said, there was greg or something, the main, the main,
- 27:33Speaker 4: the main dolphin was his breathing source.
- 27:36Speaker 1: It's giving independence to day where the guy the drunk
- 27:40Speaker 1: was like, I was taken by aliens and then he
- 27:42Speaker 1: for sure was atlantis.
- 27:44Speaker 4: That's them. The dolphins are the underwater atlantis. They're the
- 27:48Speaker 4: ones who've taken.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Point yesterday. I don't believe it.
- 27:52Speaker 4: I don't because Florida man, any other city I would
- 27:57Speaker 4: have believed.
- 27:58Speaker 1: But Florida man, that's where they lost you. Is it said?
- 28:03Speaker 1: Oh people are going to come for you, So harch
- 28:08Speaker 1: have Florida pride.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Bro Florida. Miami, Yeah, that's where I want to live,
- 28:13Speaker 4: not the other parts. No, Miami is great, but Miami
- 28:16Speaker 4: is but no, hold on here. Why tell me this?
- 28:22Speaker 4: Why is it illegal for us to communicate with dolphins
- 28:27Speaker 4: but keep them in captivity at sea World? Tell me this,
- 28:32Speaker 4: because you really aren't allowed to communicate with dolphins. It
- 28:35Speaker 4: is illegal, and they say it's illegal for the dolphins benefit,
- 28:39Speaker 4: because they like, if you talk to it, it becomes attached. Yeah,
- 28:43Speaker 4: but I think it's because.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Forming a genuine connection and having like old fuck that
- 28:50Speaker 1: is so sad, or like taking them away from their
- 28:52Speaker 1: natural habitat and forcing them to live out the rest
- 28:54Speaker 1: of their days in a tank.
- 28:57Speaker 4: Another another it's in Indonesia. I didn't write it down
- 29:02Speaker 4: because I knew I'd forgot. I'd remember in Indonesia a
- 29:05Speaker 4: giant whale swam up to kids while they were swimming.
- 29:11Speaker 4: They swam away because they were scared. One kid saw
- 29:14Speaker 4: something giant and shiny in its mouth and it was
- 29:17Speaker 4: a hook. The kids all went out and got the
- 29:19Speaker 4: hook out. The Now the dolphs or the whale comes
- 29:23Speaker 4: by in that bay every morning and all the kids
- 29:25Speaker 4: like sit on it and it.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Just hangs out with them.
- 29:28Speaker 4: That is so bad now because it like owes the
- 29:30Speaker 4: life to the kids for helping. Just like that same
- 29:33Speaker 4: story that I showed you with the dolphins, where that
- 29:35Speaker 4: sucker fish was on one and the dolphins were just
- 29:39Speaker 4: swimming with the boat and she was like, I know,
- 29:41Speaker 4: I want to hang out, but we have to go home.
- 29:43Speaker 4: And that's where it's like. Is that why it's illegal
- 29:45Speaker 4: to communicate because of what it does? Or because they're
- 29:47Speaker 4: going to take you down to their underwater city.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Do you want to go to their underwater city? I
- 29:52Speaker 1: think it may just force me to build dolphins.
- 29:55Speaker 4: Will tell me this. Our dolphins in whales smarter than
- 29:58Speaker 4: human beings. Yeah, yes, tell me so. Why wouldn't they
- 30:01Speaker 4: be able to do something crazy?
- 30:03Speaker 1: You know what? You make so much sense. There's just
- 30:04Speaker 1: those thumbs. They don't have thumbs, no, but they have
- 30:08Speaker 1: tails and mouths. All right? What an excellent episode, A
- 30:11Speaker 1: little all over the place. Oh my gosh, I feels
- 30:14Speaker 1: so og. I feel so og.
- 30:16Speaker 3: We're going back, baby. I love you guys.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Thank you for listening to another tangent episode of Untraditionally
- 30:22Speaker 1: La La. I'm gonna catch you on Monday for a
- 30:24Speaker 1: bonus and again next week. Bye,
