- 0:11Hello friends, it's Sean here. It's Friday the 27th of
- 0:16September. So glad to have your company and
- 0:20hope your week has been a good one as here we stand at the end
- 0:23of the week to celebrate all the good things that you've been
- 0:26able to do and the wonderful moments you've been able to
- 0:29share and the challenges through which God has developed your
- 0:33character. Oh Gee, it's good to develop
- 0:35character, but hard times are hard.
- 0:38And I hope that you're going well friends and that the hard
- 0:41times haven't been too thick and fast.
- 0:44They will always be heartbreak. They will always be challenged,
- 0:48but as long as we come through it knowing who we are in our
- 0:52God. And today we continue only this
- 0:56week and next as we finish. Well, we never really finished
- 0:59this journey, but we finished that ascent to Jerusalem.
- 1:03That's next week. So today we are getting near the
- 1:05top. Can you see it, friends?
- 1:06Oh, I can see the tops of the Roos beginning to show over the
- 1:10hill ahead. Here we have a song for pilgrims
- 1:12ascending to Jerusalem, a Psalm of David.
- 1:17This is another little one, only three verses, so we will just
- 1:22linger in these words and enjoy this song, this Psalm, crying
- 1:28out to God, the God who blesses us.
- 1:31Let's enjoy it together. Psalm 133.
- 1:45How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in
- 1:51harmony, for harmony is as precious as the anointing oil
- 1:57that was poured over Aaron's head, that ran down his beard
- 2:04and on to the border of his robe.
- 2:08Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls
- 2:14on the mountains of Zion, and there the Lord has pronounced
- 2:20His blessing, even life everlasting.
- 2:34Yes, Lord, how pleasant indeed is Harmony.
- 2:40Ah, thank you that you have made us in community, in family,
- 2:44where we can enjoy, live shared with others.
- 2:48And thank you for the moments of harmony, the moments where we
- 2:53resonate together, we move in the same direction, and we
- 2:58celebrate the company that we share with each other.
- 3:02It's not always the case, Lord, and you know that.
- 3:05Ah, but harmony is such a wonderful thing to enjoy with
- 3:08those that we share time with. Lord, I pray that you would
- 3:13continue to transform our hearts so that we can be people of
- 3:18harmony, so that we enter the fray, that we can bring with us
- 3:24your grace and your harmony that will always draw people back to
- 3:31you and your heart of love and forgiveness and kindness.
- 3:38Let us be those people. And I thank you for the people
- 3:43that you give us in our lives who inspire us to be more
- 3:48harmonious like you. And most of all, we thank you,
- 3:51Father, for Jesus who brings us harmony with you.
- 3:57What a gift that is, one that we don't take for granted, not for
- 4:01one second. So we thank you and we pray all
- 4:04of this in His harmony, bringing name, Amen.
