Keith Urban on New Album High, ELO’s Influence, and Covering Ariana Grande
Keith Urban joins Kyle Meredith to talk about his latest album, High. The country superstar tells us how the new collection started with a scrapped album that he started in 2022, and how ultimately he was unhappy with the limitations that the record faced, as well as breaking past his own songwriting comfort zones. Urban also details working with Mike Elazondo on “Laughing All The Way To The Drank,” fleshing out his songs live, the influence that ELO and Robert Palmer have had on him, and recently covering Ariana Grande.
