Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Tonight, D4VD, a.k.a. David Anthony Burke, to face charges regarding
- 0:06Speaker 1: the death of an unborn baby and an alleged coerced abortion.
- 0:15Speaker 1: An abortion conducted on a 13-year-old little girl. This has
- 0:22Speaker 1: allegations swirl that D4VD is writing letters to minors from
- 0:27Speaker 1: behind bars. And get this. raking in nearly $ 3 million
- 0:33Speaker 1: since Celeste's death? Good evening. I'm Nancy Grace. This is
- 0:38Speaker 1: Crime Stories. I want to thank you for being with us.
- 0:49Speaker 1: 14-year-old Celeste found decomposing in the trunk of the 4VD
- 0:54Speaker 1: David Anthony Burke's Tesla.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Who in this office is and was leaking information about
- 1:02Speaker 2: this 14-year-old child and her remains?
- 1:05Speaker 3: It's a violation of a court order.
- 1:07Speaker 1: The medical examiner's office was leaking information.
- 1:13Speaker 4: I go, what the f * * *? Okay, because obviously,
- 1:16Speaker 4: that's a big thing to say. And David used to
- 1:20Speaker 4: be my homie. So I'm like, oh nah, my close
- 1:23Speaker 4: homie's f * * * ing with a minor? Hell no,
- 1:25Speaker 4: I don't f * * * with that s * * *.
- 1:26Speaker 4: So immediately I go to David and I'm like, hey,
- 1:33Speaker 4: this girl saying that you're with a 13 year old.
- 1:35Speaker 4: You need to explain yourself. He was like, dude, that's
- 1:38Speaker 4: not even true. Like, she's like 19. I was like, no,
- 1:42Speaker 4: she's not. She said she's 13. Like, show me proof.
- 1:45Speaker 4: And you know what? He showed me proof. And I
- 1:47Speaker 4: was like, OK, I'm a back off. I feel like
- 1:51Speaker 4: I'm harassing my friend. I can't get into every single
- 1:53Speaker 4: detail for legal reasons, but I didn't just go, oh, hey,
- 1:59Speaker 4: is your friend 13? And he went, no. And I
- 2:01Speaker 4: was like, oh, okay, la, la, la, la, la, la, la. Like,
- 2:03Speaker 4: I wasn't being stupid. I was like, no, show me proof, okay? Like,
- 2:11Speaker 4: I need to see actual evidence because I think you're
- 2:14Speaker 4: with a minor. And obviously, when my friend... tells me,
- 2:21Speaker 4: he's like, no, I'm not, shows me proof that he
- 2:24Speaker 4: is not, and I harass him more, and he's like, dude, like,
- 2:26Speaker 4: chill the f * * * out. Like, manipulate the
- 2:28Speaker 4: f * * * out of me, to be honest.
- 2:31Speaker 1: That was then. This is now. Claims that D4VD, a.k.a.
- 2:37Speaker 1: David Anthony Burke, contacting minors from behind bars. That is
- 2:41Speaker 1: Asia Collins on Twitch. Joining us, an all-star panel member,
- 2:46Speaker 1: But tonight, are charges on the horizon, more charges for
- 2:51Speaker 1: David Anthony Burke, a.k.a. D4VD, regarding coerced abortion? Okay, abortion
- 2:59Speaker 1: is legal. Coerced abortion? Not legal. Straight out to Marissa
- 3:06Speaker 1: Reyes joining us. She is the star of the True
- 3:09Speaker 1: Light Crime podcast. Marissa, thank you for being with us tonight.
- 3:14Speaker 1: A lot came out in court. about an abortion, an
- 3:18Speaker 1: abortion of a young girl, 13 years old. And it
- 3:23Speaker 1: seemed as if in those texts, which are damning, that D4VD,
- 3:28Speaker 1: David Anthony Burke, is the one orchestrating the whole thing.
- 3:31Speaker 1: What do you know?
- 3:33Speaker 5: Absolutely, Nancy. We heard in court this whole issue of
- 3:36Speaker 5: abortion that came up. It came up multiple times. But
- 3:39Speaker 5: we're talking specifically about the actual act where Celeste did,
- 3:43Speaker 5: that we know of, get an abortion. This happened in
- 3:46Speaker 5: January of 2024. And when they were texting about this,
- 3:50Speaker 5: David was texting to Celeste, when are you going to
- 3:52Speaker 5: get it done? She said, two days. He continued talking
- 3:55Speaker 5: about it. This is where he went and talked about also,
- 3:58Speaker 5: my mother always told me to ask this question if
- 4:01Speaker 5: in this situation, it is mine, right? And he went
- 4:05Speaker 5: on to say that he didn't want to feel like
- 4:06Speaker 5: a complete F-up for his mother. Now, he continued texting
- 4:10Speaker 5: specifics about this abortion appointment, asking what time it was,
- 4:15Speaker 5: saying that it should take 45 minutes. And then he
- 4:18Speaker 5: kept checking when it was done. That evening, he made
- 4:21Speaker 5: a shocking text to all of us in the courtroom
- 4:24Speaker 5: where he said, I feel like a N-word slur waiting
- 4:27Speaker 5: for test results. Like, I'm waiting to hear about the process.
- 4:31Speaker 5: I keep asking about it. And he said, LMAO. Like,
- 4:35Speaker 5: this was something funny to him. So he was constantly
- 4:39Speaker 5: messaging her to make sure that this was done.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And then to Eric Faddis, criminal defense attorney, founder of
- 4:46Speaker 1: the law offices of Eric Faddis. Eric, then she expresses regret.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I would do anything to to have my baby back.
- 4:56Speaker 1: This clearly was not her idea, Faddis. That's coercion. Did
- 5:02Speaker 1: you do it? Did you do it? When are you
- 5:03Speaker 1: going to do it? It'll just take 45 minutes. Go
- 5:05Speaker 1: do it. Go do it. Setting up the appointment.
- 5:07Speaker 5: The works.
- 5:08Speaker 1: That's coercion, Eric.
- 5:12Speaker 6: The evidence seems to suggest that there was certainly some
- 5:14Speaker 6: pressure from David, who was the older man. You've got
- 5:17Speaker 6: to look at that power dynamic, too. Celeste is a minor.
- 5:20Speaker 6: She is a young girl at this time. And so
- 5:23Speaker 6: could that alleged coercion lead to some criminal charge. I
- 5:27Speaker 6: think it's at least reasonably plausible a prosecutor might get
- 5:30Speaker 6: creative and take a look at that. We also got
- 5:33Speaker 6: to keep in mind that these are big decisions in
- 5:36Speaker 6: the lives of two people who have created a child.
- 5:39Speaker 6: And oftentimes it's common to have mixed feelings about that.
- 5:43Speaker 6: And so does that rise to the level of pressuring
- 5:46Speaker 6: someone to do something against their will? You know, that's
- 5:49Speaker 6: kind of a high bar.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Repeat. Two people who created a child, why don't you
- 5:56Speaker 1: just play having my baby in the background? When a
- 6:02Speaker 1: minor is involved, it's not two people creating a baby
- 6:07Speaker 1: like some mystical union sprinkled with stardust with angels playing
- 6:11Speaker 1: harps in the background. It's statutory rape. Okay? Not just
- 6:17Speaker 1: statutory rape, but then allegations of coercing and abortion. Hold everything.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Apply pressure. That's what you just said. Translation, coercion. Coercion.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Back to you, Marissa Reyes, joining us out of L.A.,
- 6:33Speaker 1: this jurisdiction, star of the light true crime. Marissa, you
- 6:39Speaker 1: stated that he was worried about what his mother would think.
- 6:44Speaker 1: And here you've got a 13-year-old girl you're texting to
- 6:48Speaker 1: get an abortion, and he's worried about mommy. Did I, what?
- 6:52Speaker 7: What?
- 6:54Speaker 5: Yeah, this is, you know, it's come up a couple
- 6:56Speaker 5: times where he seems truly concerned about what his mother
- 6:59Speaker 5: thinks about him and pleasing her. And he did say
- 7:04Speaker 5: because his mother always told him in this situation to
- 7:08Speaker 5: ask if it's his and he doesn't want to feel
- 7:11Speaker 5: like a mess up for her. And the interesting thing
- 7:13Speaker 5: about this, too, was, is this what he learned? So
- 7:15Speaker 5: in this situation, make sure it's your kid. But did
- 7:17Speaker 5: you ever learn about consent, about maybe not getting with
- 7:21Speaker 5: a minor? It brings up a lot of questions in that.
- 7:23Speaker 5: Is that your lesson? We do know he was homeschooled,
- 7:26Speaker 5: but he seemed to miss out on a lot of
- 7:28Speaker 5: knowledge about that.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Type of education. Stop, stop, slow down, Nellie. Did you
- 7:35Speaker 1: just say he was homeschooled and that that somehow explains
- 7:38Speaker 1: why he doesn't know about statutory rape?
- 7:43Speaker 5: Well, no, I wouldn't explain that, but I'm saying he
- 7:46Speaker 5: is so in his messages, refers to things that his
- 7:50Speaker 5: mother taught him, right? His mother told him to ask this.
- 7:53Speaker 5: I don't want to be a mess up for my mother. So,
- 7:56Speaker 5: you know, it's just, why is that what he falls on?
- 7:59Speaker 5: It's just excuses.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Marissa, I'm not arguing pro or con abortion. That's not
- 8:06Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But I can tell you this, coercing
- 8:09Speaker 1: an abortion on anyone, much less a minor person, is illegal.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Coerced or forced abortion is a form of reproductive coercion
- 8:20Speaker 1: where a person uses threats, intimidation, fraud, duress to compel
- 8:25Speaker 1: a pregnant individual to terminate a pregnancy against their explicit will.
- 8:35Speaker 1: You know, this goes far beyond coercion. It, it, In
- 8:40Speaker 1: the law, it addresses administering medication. We've heard of people
- 8:44Speaker 1: sneaking the girlfriend or the wife an abortion pill. Violating
- 8:50Speaker 1: a young girl's bodily autonomy is illegal in all 50 states. Again,
- 8:58Speaker 1: this is not about whether abortion itself is legal or illegal.
- 9:03Speaker 1: This is about violating Celeste's bodily autonomy. for her to
- 9:09Speaker 1: have control over her own body. That's what we're talking
- 9:15Speaker 1: about with the potential charges of a coerced abortion. And
- 9:21Speaker 1: you know, in many states, when a child in uterus dies,
- 9:27Speaker 1: think about Scott Peterson when baby Connor died because he
- 9:31Speaker 1: murdered Lacey. Those are actual charges, right? Fetal homicides. An
- 9:37Speaker 1: abortion is different because abortion is legal. Coerced abortion, not legal.
- 9:45Speaker 1: This has allegations swirled that D4VD, David Anthony Burke, is
- 9:49Speaker 1: writing letters to minors from behind bars asking for special privileges,
- 9:56Speaker 1: face-to-face meetings with his lawyers. There's some of those letters
- 9:59Speaker 1: where he quotes the bible hey it's never too late
- 10:03Speaker 1: to be saved you can be saved and be born
- 10:07Speaker 1: again while you're behind bars you don't need to walk
- 10:11Speaker 1: free for that and Celeste's parents now demanding the death
- 10:16Speaker 1: penalty and filing a civil suit against David Anthony Burke.
- 10:22Speaker 8: When you hear how much money this young man made,
- 10:28Speaker 8: it's unbelievable. And so based upon the amount of money
- 10:35Speaker 8: he made, I personally found it deplorable when he transferred
- 10:41Speaker 8: two homes out of his name. And the witness, the
- 10:45Speaker 8: last witness on the stand, he was the one that
- 10:48Speaker 8: advised the family to transfer the assets out of David's
- 10:53Speaker 8: name to protect it from a civil lawsuit.
- 10:57Speaker 9: Colleen Burke, David's mom, has been looking for an entertainment attorney,
- 11:00Speaker 9: probably because she and David are working together on how
- 11:03Speaker 9: he can continue to release music from prison. No joke.
- 11:08Speaker 9: His mom is definitely looking at the dollar signs. That's
- 11:10Speaker 9: why she's had David's homes removed from his name and
- 11:14Speaker 9: put into her name so that whenever he's officially in
- 11:18Speaker 9: a felon in prison, that he doesn't have any of
- 11:20Speaker 9: this stuff taken away from him or that Celeste's family
- 11:23Speaker 9: doesn't try to sue him for money and take some
- 11:26Speaker 9: of his fortune.
- 11:27Speaker 1: From our friend Harvey Levin at TMZ and TikTok at Sloan.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Marissa Reyes joining us, the star of The Light True Crime.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Tell me about the lawsuit. I'm telling you that most
- 11:40Speaker 1: of D4VD David Anthony Burke's assets have been siphoned out
- 11:44Speaker 1: of his accounts. You're going to need a forensic accountant
- 11:47Speaker 1: if you're going to sue him to try to find
- 11:50Speaker 1: the money. He has now claimed that he's broke and
- 11:55Speaker 1: is getting a public defender So that's going to be
- 11:59Speaker 1: a hard task, finding his money. But what are the
- 12:02Speaker 1: claims filed by Celeste Rivas' family against D4VD?
- 12:08Speaker 5: Correct, Nancy. A civil lawsuit was filed by Patrick Seinfeld
- 12:11Speaker 5: a couple weeks ago. And the thing is, it expands
- 12:14Speaker 5: looking at just David Burke in this, right? We have
- 12:17Speaker 5: David Burke on going to a criminal trial. But civilly,
- 12:21Speaker 5: we're looking at who else was possibly responsible for and
- 12:24Speaker 5: had knowledge of what was going on for Celeste that
- 12:26Speaker 5: is to blame in this. You've got David. You have
- 12:29Speaker 5: his multiple companies that are listed. His own mother. They
- 12:33Speaker 5: have his team in their management listed. They also have,
- 12:37Speaker 5: which is very interesting to see, his live-in body.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Look at your screen. Look at your screen. I wonder
- 12:43Speaker 1: if the jury's ever going to see this. I like boobs.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Getting oil rubbed on his body by a female assistant. H-E-L-L-N-O.
- 12:55Speaker 1: He's going to be all GQ, perfectly groomed, in a suit. No,
- 13:00Speaker 1: probably looking like a Harvard 1L. The way the Menendez
- 13:05Speaker 1: brothers were dressed up, you know, khakis, button down, that
- 13:09Speaker 1: whole thing. They ain't going to see I Love Boobs t-shirts. No,
- 13:14Speaker 1: that's not happening. I just had to make sure that
- 13:16Speaker 1: you saw that, Marissa. Okay, pick it up, Marissa Reyes.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Yes.
- 13:20Speaker 5: Yes, he's going to look completely different in court. The
- 13:22Speaker 5: way that was even requested in a motion before is
- 13:24Speaker 5: not clothing that he typically wears. We're going to see
- 13:26Speaker 5: a different David presented to a jury. But picking back
- 13:31Speaker 5: up his bodyguard, the live-in bodyguard that was with him,
- 13:34Speaker 5: that was part of Operation Awesome, which was essentially kidnapping
- 13:39Speaker 5: Celeste and bringing him to his home in Hollywood, is
- 13:42Speaker 5: also in this civil lawsuit.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Did you just say Operation Awesome?
- 13:46Speaker 4: What?
- 13:47Speaker 5: Operation Awesome. That is what David and Celeste referred to
- 13:52Speaker 5: when he was, I like to use the word kidnapping,
- 13:55Speaker 5: took Celeste from her home because she's not of age
- 13:58Speaker 5: to consent. She's a child, a minor from her home
- 14:01Speaker 5: in Lake Elsinore, where she packed bags, put things even
- 14:04Speaker 5: in a trash bag to go with him to his
- 14:06Speaker 5: home in West Hollywood. And his bodyguard was a part
- 14:10Speaker 5: of that. His bodyguard drove. So he's listed in the
- 14:13Speaker 5: civil lawsuit as well. And that's something that I think
- 14:16Speaker 5: a lot of us want more information on. He didn't
- 14:19Speaker 5: live with David the entire time, but he was a
- 14:21Speaker 5: part of this. He was aware of Celeste. He drove
- 14:24Speaker 5: back and forth from West Hollywood to Lake Elsinore. That
- 14:27Speaker 5: is not a short drive. You've got to take at
- 14:29Speaker 5: least an hour and a half to two hours away.
- 14:31Speaker 4: It is far.
- 14:32Speaker 5: And he went with David to pick up a miner,
- 14:35Speaker 5: remove her from her home, and bring him back to
- 14:38Speaker 5: West Hollywood.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. You know, Steve Fisher joining us. Tonight, missing
- 14:46Speaker 1: persons private investigator, search rescue specialist, owner of search investigations,
- 14:52Speaker 1: Fisher is the one. He beat the L.A. cops to it,
- 14:56Speaker 1: who took it upon himself to go into the neighborhood
- 14:59Speaker 1: after Celeste's decomposing body was found in the trunk of
- 15:03Speaker 1: D4VD' s Tesla. He, Fisher, went and collected ring door cams,
- 15:10Speaker 1: and he, Fisher, pieced together how the Tesla was moved,
- 15:15Speaker 1: that's from Steve right there, from spot to spot to spot,
- 15:19Speaker 1: so no one in the community would complain that a
- 15:23Speaker 1: filthy and stinky car, hey, let's see that demonstration, please,
- 15:29Speaker 1: that you were just about to show, was parked in
- 15:31Speaker 1: front of their home. The car was moved and moved
- 15:35Speaker 1: and moved, and here you see our friend Scott Eicher reenacting,
- 15:40Speaker 1: putting body bags full of, well, in the real case,
- 15:45Speaker 1: body parts, in the trunk of a Tesla and how
- 15:48Speaker 1: it would fit. He even did a demo about how
- 15:53Speaker 1: a young girl, Celeste, age and size, there you go,
- 15:57Speaker 1: would easily fit in the trunk. That's the Tesla reenact
- 16:01Speaker 1: from Scott. But back to Fisher, he's been on this
- 16:04Speaker 1: case from the very beginning. Did you know about Operation Awesome?
- 16:09Speaker 1: And what is a 13-year-old girl supposed to think? I
- 16:12Speaker 1: think they met when she was around 11 or 12.
- 16:14Speaker 1: She was still wearing Hello Kitty clothes. That said, what's
- 16:17Speaker 1: that young girl supposed to think? She gets picked up,
- 16:20Speaker 1: brought to a mansion where all of these hangers-on are
- 16:23Speaker 1: sucking up to her boyfriend. Of course she's going to
- 16:27Speaker 1: have sex. No question. And everybody in the whole house
- 16:33Speaker 1: knew what was happening. They did nothing. And I'm wondering
- 16:36Speaker 1: if that manager... has gotten immunity. Because for me, I
- 16:42Speaker 1: would put them all in the same pot, let them stew,
- 16:46Speaker 1: and turn the temp on high. But that's just me. So,
- 16:50Speaker 1: what do you think about what you're hearing about Operation Awesome?
- 16:56Speaker 7: So, I didn't know about Operation Awesome itself until the prelim,
- 17:01Speaker 7: but we learned, I learned from another minor that he
- 17:05Speaker 7: abused at the house that she was getting transportation to
- 17:09Speaker 7: and from the house through that security guard. Um, and,
- 17:13Speaker 7: but we weren't able to actually cooperate that because she
- 17:15Speaker 7: didn't have the name of the guy, uh, until it
- 17:17Speaker 7: came out in court to that. Indeed, there was a
- 17:20Speaker 7: security guard living there. Um, you know, we believed her,
- 17:23Speaker 7: but we didn't have anything pinning it down. But you know,
- 17:25Speaker 7: your other point about, did anybody get immunity? I think
- 17:29Speaker 7: this civil suit is so important because they're not going
- 17:33Speaker 7: to be able to escape, um, you know, um, those
- 17:38Speaker 7: depositions and whatnot. And I do think even though those
- 17:41Speaker 7: don't become public, motions to dismiss and whatnot will become public.
- 17:45Speaker 7: Those are inevitable. They're going to have to kind of
- 17:47Speaker 7: tell the story in those motions. And I think we're
- 17:49Speaker 7: going to hear about who may have been there, who
- 17:52Speaker 7: may have known what, who may have witnessed things, and,
- 17:56Speaker 7: you know, who ultimately got immune.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Okay, I want to stress allegations of D4VD having sex
- 18:06Speaker 1: with other minors are just allegations. They have not been proven.
- 18:11Speaker 1: He's not been charged in that. He's not even a
- 18:14Speaker 1: POI in that, person of interest. Steve Fisher, it is
- 18:18Speaker 1: your testimony, your claim, that you have spoken to other
- 18:24Speaker 1: minor girls that claimed that they had relations with D4VD.
- 18:31Speaker 7: From one of them, I have photographic proof, many pictures,
- 18:36Speaker 7: that have been forwarded to DA's office and to LAPD.
- 18:40Speaker 7: They don't seem to be taking any action on it,
- 18:43Speaker 7: which is disappointing, obviously, to the other minors. But there's
- 18:49Speaker 7: proof there, and it's in my client's house. There is
- 18:53Speaker 7: absolutely no doubt. One of them is on the move-in day,
- 18:57Speaker 7: on Valentine's Day, Edward and Celeste. was being kidnapped and
- 19:01Speaker 7: taken to the other house. He is taking pictures with
- 19:04Speaker 7: another minor, and I have those pictures, and I know
- 19:07Speaker 7: she's a minor.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Put up Fisher. Put up Fisher.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Fisher.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Fisher. Wait a minute. I want to make sure I
- 19:13Speaker 1: understand what you just said. Back it up like three sentences.
- 19:19Speaker 7: So on Valentine's Day, he is in, that's the day
- 19:24Speaker 7: they take possession of my client's rental house, the one
- 19:27Speaker 7: that's being called The Mansion. He takes possession of that.
- 19:30Speaker 7: He's with another miner in that house. And I have
- 19:33Speaker 7: photographs that are timestamped on that day. And it's clearly
- 19:36Speaker 7: my client's house. They're together. They're in a bed. And
- 19:41Speaker 7: that's the day that Celeste is also being transported to
- 19:45Speaker 7: the other house, which was like the streaming studio where
- 19:49Speaker 7: they did the fanfare. delete everything stream.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Okay, you state that you have seen photographic proof of
- 19:56Speaker 1: a minor with D4VD, another minor, not Celeste, in bed.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Were they clothed?
- 20:04Speaker 7: They were clothed, but they were... making out and there
- 20:08Speaker 7: were very suggestive photos. They were clearly inappropriate.
- 20:12Speaker 1: So making out, that is a crime to make out
- 20:17Speaker 1: with a minor. If they were not clothed, either of them,
- 20:21Speaker 1: that would be a crime, but laying on a bed,
- 20:22Speaker 1: fully clothed, not a crime. But if you saw photographic
- 20:26Speaker 1: evidence of them making out with a little girl, crime,
- 20:31Speaker 1: I've got all kinds of sirens just blaring in my
- 20:34Speaker 1: head right now. But again, To believe that, you'd have
- 20:38Speaker 1: to believe Steve Fisher. D4VD has not been charged with that.
- 20:44Speaker 1: He's not a person of interest in that or named one.
- 20:46Speaker 1: He's not a suspect in sex relations with other minors.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Why are we talking about it? Because Dave Mack, Crime
- 20:54Speaker 1: Stories investigative reporter, tonight reports he is contacting minors from
- 21:00Speaker 1: behind bars. If that is true, this is rhetorical, of course.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Of course, Karen Stark is going to shudder. What is
- 21:09Speaker 1: wrong with him? What do you know, Dave Mack? Is
- 21:14Speaker 1: he writing or contacting other minors from behind bars for
- 21:18Speaker 1: Pete's sake?
- 21:20Speaker 2: Nancy, here's what we know, okay? There is physical evidence.
- 21:24Speaker 2: There is a letter written in hand. Of course, the guy,
- 21:30Speaker 2: Burke's in prison or in jail. And The letter has
- 21:34Speaker 2: gone viral online from somebody claiming to be 14. And
- 21:41Speaker 2: it is a letter that appears to be written by David.
- 21:44Speaker 1: And it is.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Where he just says, I received your letter today. And
- 21:50Speaker 2: he puts the date of June 11th. I'm not sure
- 21:53Speaker 2: when this will get to you.
- 21:55Speaker 1: And it goes on.
- 21:56Speaker 2: There's not a lot there other than he goes kind
- 21:59Speaker 2: of religious on it. The deal here is that TMZ
- 22:03Speaker 2: has compared the letter writing to this minor with another
- 22:09Speaker 2: letter written to a trustee in the jail that they
- 22:13Speaker 2: know came from David to this jail trustee who David
- 22:17Speaker 2: became friends with. And comparing the two letters, looking at
- 22:22Speaker 2: how they're written, looking at the terminology, it appears that
- 22:27Speaker 2: both letters written by the same individual, David Anthony Burke.
- 22:31Speaker 1: You know, Dave Mack, I was about to extort you
- 22:37Speaker 1: for comparing the handwriting and say something like, are you
- 22:40Speaker 1: a handwriting comparison expert? No, you're not. But the truth is,
- 22:43Speaker 1: Dave Mack, when you, a layperson, can look at two
- 22:48Speaker 1: handwriting samples and determine if they're written by the same person,
- 22:53Speaker 1: sometimes there are close calls. But there are obvious similarities here.
- 22:57Speaker 1: And yes, I wouldn't put you on the stand as
- 22:59Speaker 1: an expert in that field, but it's very plain. You're
- 23:04Speaker 1: right that the same person wrote that. That said, to
- 23:08Speaker 1: Karen Stark joining us, she is a renowned psychologist, TV
- 23:12Speaker 1: radio trauma expert, consultant. Thank you for making time for
- 23:17Speaker 1: us tonight, Karen Stark. And you can find her at karenstark.com,
- 23:21Speaker 1: Karen with a C. Karen, When I asked the rhetorical question,
- 23:25Speaker 1: what is wrong with him? Well, there's so many things.
- 23:27Speaker 1: But is it a compulsion that you just have to
- 23:31Speaker 1: seek out minor girls? Because we think Celeste was, correct
- 23:36Speaker 1: me if I'm wrong, Marissa and Dave, 11 or 12
- 23:38Speaker 1: when she was targeted by David Anthony Burke. Then you've
- 23:43Speaker 1: got Steve Fisher talking tonight about he has interviewed and
- 23:48Speaker 1: seen photos of young girls that have been with Burke. Well,
- 23:56Speaker 1: obviously there's something wrong with him, but is it a
- 23:59Speaker 1: compulsion like a child molester?
- 24:02Speaker 10: Yes, that's exactly what you're talking about. If it's true,
- 24:05Speaker 10: you're talking about someone who's a pedophile. And the truth
- 24:09Speaker 10: is they can't have sex any other way. This is
- 24:14Speaker 10: what will attract them. It's almost impossible to do any
- 24:18Speaker 10: kind of rehab on that kind of person because the
- 24:21Speaker 10: attraction comes from being with someone who's underage, who's a child.
- 24:27Speaker 10: And that seems to be happening here because it's not
- 24:30Speaker 10: just her. If it's true, then there are other girls
- 24:34Speaker 10: involved and that's what's wrong with him. He has that need.
- 24:40Speaker 1: That compulsion. Look at your screen.
- 24:41Speaker 10: That's what excites him.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Look at your screen. A little girl, a little girl, uh,
- 24:50Speaker 1: Marissa Reyes joining us, the star of The Light True Crime.
- 24:53Speaker 1: How old? Oh, my stars. Look at her. How old
- 24:58Speaker 1: was Celeste when she was targeted by David Anthony Burke?
- 25:03Speaker 5: Celeste was only 11 years old when they first made
- 25:06Speaker 5: contact on Fortnite.
- 25:08Speaker 2: 11.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Karen Stark, 11. And Marissa has listened to every word
- 25:16Speaker 1: in court. She's seen all the documents. 11 years. What
- 25:22Speaker 1: were you saying about they can't have sex unless it's
- 25:24Speaker 1: a child? What?
- 25:26Speaker 10: Yes, they can't because this is what excites them. This
- 25:30Speaker 10: is what gets them off, Nancy. And so it has
- 25:34Speaker 10: to be somebody who's underage. And as soon as she
- 25:37Speaker 10: would get older, he would be turned off if that's
- 25:40Speaker 10: who he is. And it seems right now like that's
- 25:43Speaker 10: who he is. This is what attracts him. People who
- 25:46Speaker 10: are like that, they don't have a choice. You can't
- 25:50Speaker 10: do any kind of reform with them. You can't try
- 25:53Speaker 10: and change them because it's fixed. Their sexual attraction is
- 25:57Speaker 10: fixed on children, as horrific as that is.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I can think of one way it could be fixed,
- 26:03Speaker 1: but castration, physical castration, sadly, is not allowed in our country.
- 26:08Speaker 1: We do have chemical or drug castration where the guy
- 26:12Speaker 1: essentially cannot get an erection, but once they quit taking
- 26:15Speaker 1: the pills, erection on! To Joe Scott Morgan joining us,
- 26:19Speaker 1: Professor of Forensics, Jacksonville State University. He is the star
- 26:23Speaker 1: of a YouTube hit, Body Bags, with Joe Scott Morgan.
- 26:27Speaker 1: He is a death investigator with over 10,000 death investigations
- 26:31Speaker 1: under his belt. Joe Scott, at age 11, she doesn't
- 26:38Speaker 1: even have breasts. She probably hasn't even started a period.
- 26:43Speaker 1: She's a baby.
- 26:46Speaker 11: Yes, she is. And yet here he is, attracted to her, allegedly,
- 26:51Speaker 11: and engaging in this so-called relationship. I wouldn't call that.
- 26:56Speaker 11: I love the term coercion that you were using earlier.
- 26:59Speaker 11: But let me tell you how also, if we are
- 27:02Speaker 11: to believe reports of what we're hearing, Nancy, let me
- 27:06Speaker 11: give you another kind of insight from a forensic standpoint
- 27:09Speaker 11: that translates, I think, into Karen's area. Nancy, when he
- 27:15Speaker 11: bore witness to those images at that hearing back in July.
- 27:20Speaker 11: And I'm talking about images that involved a hand missing
- 27:25Speaker 11: a finger where a tattoo had been. You're looking at
- 27:31Speaker 11: severely decomposed human remains that are in multiple elements or pieces. Nancy,
- 27:39Speaker 11: they're saying that he had little or no reaction to it,
- 27:42Speaker 11: almost reptile-like. I would say, very cold blooded. It didn't
- 27:49Speaker 11: impact him according to what the reporters were saying from
- 27:51Speaker 11: within the court. And to me, that's quite striking because, Nancy,
- 27:55Speaker 11: as you well know, you can look at my hair
- 27:57Speaker 11: and tell I've been at this for a long, long time.
- 28:00Speaker 11: And there are things still to this day that I
- 28:03Speaker 11: can see either in the morgue, autopsy photographs, crime scene
- 28:07Speaker 11: photographs that still chill me to the bone where, you know,
- 28:12Speaker 11: I will react to it. And if this is the case,
- 28:16Speaker 11: this puts this guy on a completely different level of
- 28:20Speaker 11: what he may or may not have been capable of.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Joe Scott, you're right. According to eyewitness accounts in court,
- 28:29Speaker 1: when the photos of Celeste rendered disarticulated remains were introduced
- 28:39Speaker 1: in court, he was stoic, actually looked relaxed. To Steve Fisher,
- 28:45Speaker 1: Steve Fisher has been actually investigating the case since the
- 28:49Speaker 1: get-go and gave a lot of information to the LAPD
- 28:52Speaker 1: when we were all wondering why aren't there charges. Relaxed
- 28:56Speaker 1: getting a back rub in court by a female lawyer
- 29:00Speaker 1: while they're showing Celeste's disarticulated body?
- 29:04Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, before I got thrown out on the
- 29:08Speaker 7: third hearing, I was there for the first two hearings,
- 29:10Speaker 7: and so I saw that interaction between The lawyers in him,
- 29:14Speaker 7: he is very relaxed, seemed very confident in his lawyers.
- 29:17Speaker 7: I don't know exactly what happened there because I truly
- 29:19Speaker 7: don't think he's out of money. But it's a weird dynamic,
- 29:22Speaker 7: how he is not just absolutely panicking right now and
- 29:26Speaker 7: demanding the hearings for bail and whatnot. It almost seems
- 29:30Speaker 7: like he's comfortable in this setting, which is, it's all
- 29:33Speaker 7: just so bizarre to me. I think this is gonna
- 29:34Speaker 7: go down as one of the uh is a is
- 29:38Speaker 7: a is a crime that's studied uh in true crime
- 29:41Speaker 7: for forever i mean this is this is as bad
- 29:44Speaker 7: as it gets and listen we know a lot but
- 29:46Speaker 7: there's stuff that that i know that hasn't come out
- 29:48Speaker 7: yet that that if it goes to trial will it
- 29:50Speaker 7: gets worse.
- 29:51Speaker 1: So And we're back in court again, this time because
- 29:58Speaker 1: Celeste's parents are suing D4VD civilly. That means for money. Now,
- 30:04Speaker 1: earlier you heard Eric Faddis, veteran trial lawyer, talking about
- 30:08Speaker 1: the legalities of a civil lawsuit and how very often
- 30:14Speaker 1: you cannot claim the Fifth Amendment when you're being sued civilly.
- 30:19Speaker 1: But there is a caveat, and that caveat is that
- 30:23Speaker 1: When you are sued civilly and you have a criminal
- 30:26Speaker 1: case such as murder pending, you can take the Fifth Amendment,
- 30:33Speaker 1: even in a civil deposition, unless you've gotten immunity or
- 30:37Speaker 1: unless your case is completely over, including the appeals. So
- 30:42Speaker 1: if the 4VD is called to take a deposition, he
- 30:46Speaker 1: can still take the Fifth. His parents, not so much.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Listen to this.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Celeste's family is suing David's mom for wrongful death, but
- 30:55Speaker 3: we need to hold up here for a moment because
- 30:57Speaker 3: they definitely knew more about this relationship. We have text
- 31:00Speaker 3: messages between David and Celeste where she's asking him if
- 31:02Speaker 3: his mom is aware of them doing you-know-what. Then we
- 31:06Speaker 3: see them together at the Fonda Theater later that month.
- 31:09Speaker 12: In September of 2024, Celeste turned 14 years old and
- 31:12Speaker 12: she asked her parents the day before David went to
- 31:15Speaker 12: London if she could join him. This would have been
- 31:17Speaker 12: on September 23rd, where both of her parents signed off
- 31:20Speaker 12: on a travel consent form for her to go internationally
- 31:23Speaker 12: with David when she should be in school.
- 31:26Speaker 1: That's from TikTok at Sloan. So to Eric Faddis, for
- 31:30Speaker 1: the parents to now sue D4VD civilly, many people are arguing,
- 31:37Speaker 1: as you just heard Sloan suggesting, hey, you signed the
- 31:40Speaker 1: consent forms for her to go out of the country.
- 31:42Speaker 1: You knew she was there. What did you think was happening?
- 31:45Speaker 1: They were playing D4VD. Rummy? No, that's not what was happening.
- 31:51Speaker 1: And you should have known that although, Faddis, there's a
- 31:55Speaker 1: big difference in suing over trips out of the country
- 31:58Speaker 1: and alleged sex with a minor and the murder of
- 32:03Speaker 1: your child. Big difference. They are entirely within their rights
- 32:07Speaker 1: to sue.
- 32:10Speaker 6: Without question, they can absolutely bring this lawsuit. But what
- 32:13Speaker 6: some of those opinions are touching on is this idea
- 32:17Speaker 6: of comparative negligence. And it's not something, not an opinion
- 32:21Speaker 6: I hold necessarily, but I think the defendants in this
- 32:23Speaker 6: civil case could allege that, hey, if the plaintiffs themselves
- 32:29Speaker 6: bore some responsibility, if they were also negligent in terms
- 32:32Speaker 6: of bringing about these adverse outcomes detailed within that lawsuit,
- 32:38Speaker 6: then those plaintiffs could have to share some of that
- 32:40Speaker 6: legal responsibility. And so I think the defendants are going
- 32:43Speaker 6: to say, hey, you know, if the security and the
- 32:47Speaker 6: record company and things like that by, you know, providing
- 32:50Speaker 6: funding and making arrangements, if they're responsible, wouldn't Celeste's parents
- 32:55Speaker 6: also potentially share some of the responsibility for giving these permissions,
- 33:00Speaker 6: for consenting to these arrangements that also could have contributed
- 33:04Speaker 6: to these acts taking place. It's a difficult argument to
- 33:07Speaker 6: make without question. I'm not making it, but I could
- 33:10Speaker 6: see the defense attorneys in the case making it.
- 33:12Speaker 1: So, Eric Faddis, I hear what you're saying, that the
- 33:16Speaker 1: parents bear some responsibility for handing their daughter over on
- 33:19Speaker 1: a silver platter to D4VD when anybody would know he
- 33:26Speaker 1: wanted her to be with him for sex reasons. But
- 33:30Speaker 1: You've heard the theory or studied in law school of
- 33:33Speaker 1: intervening criminal act. We may trash them as parents. We
- 33:37Speaker 1: may think we would have done it differently, but they
- 33:41Speaker 1: certainly did not sign a consent for her to be
- 33:43Speaker 1: disarticulated and put in a trash bag.
- 33:48Speaker 6: Can't that same intervening event argument be made by the
- 33:52Speaker 6: defendants in this case, by the security guard, by the management,
- 33:56Speaker 6: by David's own mother? Couldn't they also argue in the
- 33:59Speaker 6: same vein, Nancy? that, hey, we signed up to try
- 34:03Speaker 6: to promote this person as a musician. We didn't sign
- 34:05Speaker 6: off on any of these horrid events happening. In fact,
- 34:08Speaker 6: there was an intervening cause. That intervening cause was this
- 34:11Speaker 6: alleged monster, David, who engaged in misconduct sexually with a
- 34:16Speaker 6: minor and then allegedly offed her and tried and disarticulated
- 34:20Speaker 6: her body. It seems like that argument could play both
- 34:22Speaker 6: ways in terms of the intervening cause and in terms
- 34:25Speaker 6: of the legal responsibility being placed on the primary actor
- 34:29Speaker 6: in this alleged series of events.
- 34:31Speaker 1: To Marissa Reyes, joining us, star of The Light True Crime, Marissa,
- 34:36Speaker 1: what exactly are the claims in the parent civil lawsuit
- 34:39Speaker 1: against David Anthony Burke?
- 34:42Speaker 5: They're mostly centered around wrongful death and that they also
- 34:46Speaker 5: took away the possibility of having future memories with her
- 34:49Speaker 5: and all of that and that people knew about what
- 34:53Speaker 5: was going on. Now, I want to bring up something
- 34:56Speaker 5: in the civil lawsuit that stood out to me because
- 34:58Speaker 5: a lot of it is primarily based off of what
- 35:01Speaker 5: we heard in the preliminary hearing. But there was something
- 35:04Speaker 5: that I had to stop because I was shocked we
- 35:06Speaker 5: did not hear about this in the preliminary hearing. And
- 35:09Speaker 5: I think it's important. Now, I'm going to read the
- 35:11Speaker 5: exact quote. In the civil lawsuit, they state on or
- 35:15Speaker 5: about April 23rd through 24th, 2025, immediately after the killing,
- 35:21Speaker 5: transporting decedent's body and driving to a remote area of
- 35:25Speaker 5: Santa Barbara County off State Route 154 to begin disposing
- 35:30Speaker 5: of evidence. Here they're alleging that David also seemed to
- 35:34Speaker 5: have transported her body up to Santa Barbara. We have
- 35:38Speaker 5: never heard of that in the preliminary hearing. That stood out.
- 35:41Speaker 5: So do the lawyers, does the family know anything more,
- 35:45Speaker 5: or are they just alleging this completely and But this
- 35:50Speaker 5: stood out. That was also part of it, you know,
- 35:52Speaker 5: the fact that he transported her body out of the area.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Wow. What do you know about that, Steve Fisher, about
- 35:59Speaker 1: the Santa Barbara connection? Marissa's right, because we've known, and
- 36:04Speaker 1: I think it's through his cell phone or GPS tracking,
- 36:07Speaker 1: that he went to Santa Barbara. What do you think
- 36:09Speaker 1: about that? That's being alleged in the civil suit we're
- 36:11Speaker 1: discussing tonight.
- 36:13Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, I've said before that I do not
- 36:15Speaker 7: believe that Celeste was stored at the house for those
- 36:19Speaker 7: 11 days or whatever it was, but I believe that,
- 36:22Speaker 7: you know, she was taken to Santa Barbara and then
- 36:24Speaker 7: at some point brought back. There was too many people
- 36:26Speaker 7: coming in and out of the house. His parents were
- 36:28Speaker 7: in town at that time, and there was somebody living
- 36:31Speaker 7: at the house, you know, Rob Morgan. So I don't
- 36:34Speaker 7: believe she was stored there. There was no freezer that
- 36:36Speaker 7: we know of. And so I do believe that they're
- 36:39Speaker 7: right in the civil suit. She was transported to Santa Barbara.
- 36:43Speaker 7: And I'll tell you, besides the telemetry they have on
- 36:45Speaker 7: the Tesla, I've been to that spot in Santa Barbara,
- 36:48Speaker 7: there are license plate readers on that highway. So they
- 36:52Speaker 7: have him. Plus, he went to a charging station.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Tonight, is D-450 David Anthony Burke actually communicating with minor
- 37:01Speaker 1: girls from behind bars? Does his compulsion know no end?
- 37:09Speaker 1: Are there potential charges for coercing an abortion on a
- 37:14Speaker 1: young girl? Has he made $ 3 million since Celeste's murder?
- 37:24Speaker 1: All of these questions and allegations swirling, I don't know
- 37:28Speaker 1: if we'll ever have the answers. But one thing I
- 37:32Speaker 1: do know, to Joseph Scott Morgan, what happened to this
- 37:39Speaker 1: little girl, Celeste?
- 37:42Speaker 11: Well, she sustained a sharp force injury, Nancy, to her chest.
- 37:47Speaker 11: or to her, to her abdomen. And, uh, it's my opinion, uh,
- 37:51Speaker 11: throughout all of this, this is just where the horror starts. Uh,
- 37:55Speaker 11: if we are to understand, you know, the findings of
- 37:58Speaker 11: the pathologist, such as they were relative to, uh, relative
- 38:03Speaker 11: to what they had left, uh, what they had left.
- 38:06Speaker 11: And it has been described actually, forgive me as soup, uh, that, uh,
- 38:13Speaker 11: her little body, uh, was in fact, uh, rendered down
- 38:18Speaker 11: to the point where, where there was not much to
- 38:21Speaker 11: work with Nancy. And so the assessment that they were
- 38:24Speaker 11: having to do in the morgue, also at the scene,
- 38:28Speaker 11: you know, when, when they began to open up that
- 38:30Speaker 11: frunk of that car and that smell came out, her body,
- 38:35Speaker 11: articulated in various bags, not to mention apparently in a
- 38:39Speaker 11: body bag. Nancy, I never thought I'd hear myself saying
- 38:42Speaker 11: that relative to a body bag being part of a
- 38:46Speaker 11: criminal investigation. I've never seen the likes of this. It
- 38:50Speaker 11: was a slow death that she suffered. If that injury
- 38:54Speaker 11: is accurate that they're talking about, she would have bled out.
- 38:57Speaker 11: It would not have been sudden. It would have taken
- 39:00Speaker 11: some period of time. And then after all of that,
- 39:04Speaker 11: This individual is going to stand over her remains and
- 39:07Speaker 11: use some kind of instrumentality here to take her body
- 39:11Speaker 11: apart piece by piece and then treat it with this
- 39:15Speaker 11: level of disrespect where the body is being moved about
- 39:19Speaker 11: over and over again, where the body is being essentially
- 39:22Speaker 11: entombed in a Tesla vehicle with no respect whatsoever until
- 39:27Speaker 11: she gets to the point where she is rendered down
- 39:29Speaker 11: to where she is in a liquid state to a
- 39:32Speaker 11: great part, Nancy.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Even thinking, Joe Scott, of ordering a kiddie pool to
- 39:39Speaker 1: affect the murder and disarticulation so as not to destroy
- 39:46Speaker 1: or muss up his own garage. Do you recall that?
- 39:51Speaker 11: Yeah, I do. And again, that's one of the striking things,
- 39:55Speaker 11: my friend, is that you would go to these links
- 39:59Speaker 11: to facilitate that where you're searching for all of these items.
- 40:02Speaker 11: And Nancy, I got to tell you, you know, the
- 40:05Speaker 11: searches that were done looking to purchase these items, when
- 40:09Speaker 11: you contextualize all of that, it's enough to send a
- 40:13Speaker 11: chill up and down the spine of the most resolute
- 40:16Speaker 11: of those among us. because it's absolutely horrible. And it
- 40:20Speaker 11: goes to thought, doesn't it, that these are the instruments
- 40:24Speaker 11: that may be required of me in order to facilitate
- 40:29Speaker 11: what the police are alleging here. And this is a deep,
- 40:33Speaker 11: dark hole to go down, my friend. And then what
- 40:37Speaker 11: we're left with at the end of the day is
- 40:40Speaker 11: a child's body, a child's body that has been shown
- 40:45Speaker 11: the utmost in disrespect And there's really nothing there. There's
- 40:50Speaker 11: nothing there that scientifically you can really, you know, set
- 40:54Speaker 11: your feet strongly upon because it's so compromised that whoever
- 40:58Speaker 11: did this to her facilitated the rot that we see.
- 41:02Speaker 11: Forgive me for saying that, but the rot that we
- 41:04Speaker 11: see with the remains, the degradation here of all that
- 41:09Speaker 11: remained of this precious little child.
- 41:12Speaker 1: And Steve Fisher joining us, PI, owner of Search Investigation. Steve,
- 41:17Speaker 1: if you, you, single-handedly had not collected all of that
- 41:23Speaker 1: ring cam, doorbell cam, the works, which you've shared with us,
- 41:27Speaker 1: thank you, and handed it over to the LAPD, this
- 41:32Speaker 1: case may never have been solved.
- 41:37Speaker 7: You know, it started, honestly, with the burn cage and
- 41:41Speaker 7: the chainsaw, and we didn't understand why those weren't taken
- 41:43Speaker 7: in the search warrant, and You know, a lot of
- 41:46Speaker 7: people thought we were sensationalizing the case by saying the
- 41:49Speaker 7: burn cage might have had anything to do with it,
- 41:51Speaker 7: that that was just a prop being used on a video.
- 41:53Speaker 7: But we knew by looking at the totality of evidence
- 41:56Speaker 7: that this was a potential plan by him. And I
- 42:01Speaker 7: can see why people didn't believe it. It seems like
- 42:03Speaker 7: movie props, chainsaws and burn cages and bodies and trunks
- 42:09Speaker 7: of Teslas sitting in wealthy neighborhoods. It is absolutely... You know,
- 42:14Speaker 7: I remember one of the first... Times I talked about
- 42:16Speaker 7: this in the press, I said, you know, there's going
- 42:19Speaker 7: to be information that's coming out. This is sadistic. And
- 42:22Speaker 7: that was before we could release the information about the
- 42:24Speaker 7: parent cage, the chainsaws, and what we were finding. And
- 42:26Speaker 7: it is all that. He is, if he did this,
- 42:31Speaker 7: like he's charged, this guy's a monster.
- 42:34Speaker 1: All defendants, all suspects. are innocent. As we go to
- 42:38Speaker 1: air tonight, he is innocent regardless of what we may
- 42:41Speaker 1: think or we may surmise or deduce. He is innocent
- 42:46Speaker 1: under our law unless and until he is proven guilty
- 42:51Speaker 1: beyond a reasonable doubt. Both the state and the defense
- 42:54Speaker 1: still building their cases as Celeste's parents call for the
- 42:59Speaker 1: death penalty. If you think you know or do know
- 43:03Speaker 1: anything about this case, please dial 213-486-6890. We remember American
- 43:12Speaker 1: hero Deputy Sergeant Martin Shields, Jr., Hines County Sheriff, Mississippi,
- 43:18Speaker 1: shot and killed in the line of duty after just
- 43:21Speaker 1: nine months on the force, leaving behind his wife, Christy Ann,
- 43:27Speaker 1: and their daughter, Aubrey. American hero Deputy Sergeant Martin Shields, Jr.,
- 43:35Speaker 1: Thank you to our guests, but especially to you for
- 43:37Speaker 1: being with us. Nancy Gray signing off for tonight, and
- 43:40Speaker 1: I'll see you tomorrow night. And until then, good night, friend.
