- 0:03Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 0:23Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 0:28Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 0:31Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 0:35Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 0:43Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 0:46Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 0:55Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I want to talk about a few things. So this
- 1:05Speaker 3: is the first time that we've done open enrollment in
- 1:08Speaker 3: a couple of months. It's been a while for anybody
- 1:12Speaker 3: that's not familiar with opening roll and open enrollment.
- 1:14Speaker 4: We traditionally do this.
- 1:18Speaker 3: The last Wednesday of the month, and this wasn't the
- 1:24Speaker 3: last Wednesday of the month, but we just kind of
- 1:25Speaker 3: rescheduled a little bit. But it's a window into EYL University.
- 1:32Speaker 3: That was kind of the whole premise of it was
- 1:35Speaker 3: to kind of give people an idea of what we have.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Going on here at EYL University.
- 1:42Speaker 3: But you know, obviously we've been traveling, we've been moving around,
- 1:45Speaker 3: you've been doing a lot of stuff. So we haven't
- 1:47Speaker 3: actually been able to do one of these on YouTube
- 1:50Speaker 3: in a long period of time. But I felt that,
- 1:53Speaker 3: you know, now, it was a good time to bring
- 1:56Speaker 3: it back, and also it's perfect timing with the relaunch
- 2:02Speaker 3: of Eyo University, which we'll be talking about in detail,
- 2:07Speaker 3: but first one to kind of just let you guys
- 2:09Speaker 3: know what will be going on today during this session.
- 2:13Speaker 3: So we're gonna be talking about credit, we're gonna be
- 2:15Speaker 3: talking about business branding, and we're gonna talking about real estate.
- 2:19Speaker 4: We have some Esteam guests.
- 2:21Speaker 3: We have Dan Fleischman, we have Herman Dolfs, we have
- 2:25Speaker 3: Matthew Garland, and we're gonna be answering questions towards the end,
- 2:30Speaker 3: we're gonna you know, have Q and a so very
- 2:33Speaker 3: educational timely you know, webinar, I think because these are
- 2:39Speaker 3: all extremely important topics right now, but especially heading into
- 2:44Speaker 3: twenty twenty three. And this is where we're at right now,
- 2:47Speaker 3: so you know it's important for you guys to start
- 2:52Speaker 3: planning your next year because it's here pretty much.
- 2:56Speaker 5: Yeah, there's no time better than right now. I mean
- 3:00Speaker 5: what quota now with the first quotera is how you
- 3:02Speaker 5: want to set your year of and when you got
- 3:04Speaker 5: people talking about how to build business credit, talking about
- 3:07Speaker 5: how to build your brand from a marketing standpoint, talking
- 3:09Speaker 5: about real estate, I mean, these are these are things
- 3:12Speaker 5: that can change your life, right like these aren't this
- 3:16Speaker 5: things that can change your day? This can change your life,
- 3:17Speaker 5: can change your family's life. And anytime you're going to
- 3:20Speaker 5: have people like this level of this cowboy of expertise, man,
- 3:23Speaker 5: you got to take advantage of it. So shot everybody
- 3:24Speaker 5: that's in here. I see the earners of piling in.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Shot everybody on the tube. This is going to be
- 3:28Speaker 5: one of them sessions. And I'm glad. I'm glad we're
- 3:30Speaker 5: back doing it. You know, I kind of miss a
- 3:32Speaker 5: little bit. I feel like that these these open enrollments
- 3:35Speaker 5: were just jam packed with information, people from the highest
- 3:38Speaker 5: level you know, in their in their fields. And uh,
- 3:41Speaker 5: tonight's no no exception. We got we got a jam
- 3:44Speaker 5: packed show. We might have a few surprises. We may
- 3:46Speaker 5: we'll see. You never know, you never know, you never
- 3:48Speaker 5: know who we know.
- 3:49Speaker 3: That's a fact. So all right, so let's get into this.
- 3:52Speaker 3: But first, before we start, I'll give you a rundown
- 3:55Speaker 3: of EYL You. Of course, if you're familiar with us,
- 3:58Speaker 3: you know that we do you know, the classes every week,
- 4:01Speaker 3: we do the financial planning calls with myself, we do
- 4:03Speaker 3: the book club headed by Troy, We do the MG
- 4:07Speaker 3: the mortgage Guys home by his Blueprint, Volume one, Volume two,
- 4:09Speaker 3: real estate calls. But we're revamping it and we'll talk
- 4:13Speaker 3: about you know that a little later. But you know,
- 4:16Speaker 3: we see the landscape changing and we see our position
- 4:21Speaker 3: in leadership rising, so.
- 4:24Speaker 4: You know, we wanted to kind of add a higher
- 4:28Speaker 4: level of service, a higher level of.
- 4:32Speaker 3: You know, curriculum, and make it more of a structured organization.
- 4:36Speaker 3: So we've been actually working on this for six months
- 4:39Speaker 3: and you know, just announced a few things and we'll
- 4:41Speaker 3: be announcing more things to come, but a lot of
- 4:44Speaker 3: exciting stuff happening. We're gonna be rolling out live interactive courses,
- 4:50Speaker 3: chapters across the United States and across the world, like
- 4:53Speaker 3: real graduations, private community events. So we wanted to just
- 4:58Speaker 3: double down. We already built the community, but we wanted
- 5:02Speaker 3: to see how we can actually take it to the
- 5:03Speaker 3: next level.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Next level education.
- 5:06Speaker 3: That's what everything that we do is kind of like
- 5:08Speaker 3: next level, right, So it's like, okay, we had to
- 5:11Speaker 3: assess what was going on and then see, okay, how
- 5:14Speaker 3: can we ten next this situation and make it, you know,
- 5:17Speaker 3: one hundred times more powerful. So we'll be announcing everything
- 5:21Speaker 3: on Friday, But in the meantime, you can text the.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Word learn l e A r N two four.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Zero one two three eight seven four seven nine to
- 5:36Speaker 3: be added to the wait list and you will get
- 5:39Speaker 3: you know, all the updates and all the information once
- 5:42Speaker 3: everything is announced. So I'm gonna pin that in YouTube
- 5:46Speaker 3: and once again that is text the word learn too
- 5:51Speaker 3: four zero one two three eight seven four seven nine,
- 5:56Speaker 3: and you will be added to the wait list and
- 5:58Speaker 3: you will get all the updates, send everything as you know,
- 6:01Speaker 3: everything on rolls So.
- 6:04Speaker 5: I think that's one of the beautiful things right, Like,
- 6:06Speaker 5: as we're doing this, we're realizing, like we could be better,
- 6:10Speaker 5: and what better way to do it than show people like, Yo,
- 6:13Speaker 5: we're gonna get better. Here's how we're going to do it.
- 6:17Speaker 5: It's just one of those things that it's happening in
- 6:19Speaker 5: real time, just like everything we've done, its happened in
- 6:22Speaker 5: real time. And like we've always said, like anytime we
- 6:24Speaker 5: do something, it's a stortic because it's never been done before.
- 6:27Speaker 5: So we built a community. Obviously, Uyo University they started
- 6:32Speaker 5: in twenty nineteen, in December twenty nineteen, maybe like seventy people,
- 6:36Speaker 5: and to see how fast it has grown, it's like, great,
- 6:39Speaker 5: this is great. How can we be better? So we
- 6:41Speaker 5: looked at the landscape and we said, all right, like
- 6:44Speaker 5: that piece over there, that piece is good, we can
- 6:47Speaker 5: add that. Let's make this the best educational experience, the
- 6:51Speaker 5: most expansive educational experience that is out there. And so
- 6:55Speaker 5: I'm so happy to show the earners and show everybody
- 6:58Speaker 5: what we got. Man, it's gonna be yeah, historic day,
- 7:01Speaker 5: historic weekend.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Oh probably so probably.
- 7:05Speaker 3: So So okay, let's bring Dan up if we can let's.
- 7:10Speaker 5: Bring him up there you go and see him right there. Perfect.
- 7:13Speaker 5: He just raised it in made it even easier.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Yes, Yes, very excited to have this conversation started off, Hey,
- 7:23Speaker 3: what's going on?
- 7:24Speaker 5: How's it going?
- 7:26Speaker 4: Good? Good?
- 7:28Speaker 6: Just happy to be here. Really impressive with you guys,
- 7:30Speaker 6: been watching you for years. I'm happy to be here.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Appreciate that. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 7:35Speaker 3: So if anybody that is not familiar with Dan, I'll
- 7:39Speaker 3: give his rundown. He is the youngest founder of a
- 7:44Speaker 3: publicly traded company in history.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Could probably just stop there.
- 7:49Speaker 5: Keyword history.
- 7:49Speaker 3: That's extremely impressive. That means like ever, that's extremely impressive.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Feet After licensing his apparel for nine point five million
- 7:58Speaker 3: dollars at the age of nineteen, team he went on
- 8:01Speaker 3: a scale and energy drains product into fifty five thousand
- 8:04Speaker 3: retail stores. Over the years, he's launched one of the
- 8:08Speaker 3: top five online poker sites globally, has thrown forty nine
- 8:13Speaker 3: elevator night events, co founded one hundred million Mastermind experience,
- 8:18Speaker 3: spoken at over two hundred and fifty business events. Angel
- 8:22Speaker 3: invested in forty three companies and his agency has spent
- 8:26Speaker 3: over sixty million dollars with social media influencers, fashion brands,
- 8:31Speaker 3: film studios, mobile apps and consumer products, and just the
- 8:35Speaker 3: mastermind when it comes to business business branding and the
- 8:40Speaker 3: new age of business that we're in right now, when
- 8:42Speaker 3: it comes to social media influencers and what we're on now, YouTube, TikTok,
- 8:48Speaker 3: different things of that nature, is extremely important. And Dan
- 8:52Speaker 3: has been a mastermind and somebody that a lot of
- 8:54Speaker 3: our friends have built relationships with and they all speak
- 8:58Speaker 3: extremely highly of him.
- 9:00Speaker 4: First and foremost, thank you for joining us.
- 9:01Speaker 6: Appreciate it, pleasure, thanks for having me.
- 9:04Speaker 5: Did we miss anything.
- 9:07Speaker 6: My charity for the homeless, We've been doing it for
- 9:10Speaker 6: eleven years. We make backpacks for the homeless with one
- 9:12Speaker 6: hundred fifty items inside.
- 9:15Speaker 3: That's my real point, very important to say this time. Yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 3: absolutely all right, So let's let's start this off. So
- 9:23Speaker 3: I would like to talk to you about, you know, branding.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Business branding is extremely important, but let's start off with
- 9:30Speaker 3: something that you know, I'm very passionate about when it
- 9:32Speaker 3: comes to content creation. And you know, I saw a
- 9:36Speaker 3: post where you talked about, you know, the best things
- 9:39Speaker 3: online are free, like they say the best things in
- 9:40Speaker 3: life for free.
- 9:41Speaker 4: The best things online.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Is free, like you can scale your business and grow
- 9:45Speaker 3: it organically, and you really don't have to have a budget.
- 9:49Speaker 3: So this is extremely important conversation. So can you talk
- 9:51Speaker 3: about that?
- 9:53Speaker 6: Yep. So the hard part for most people on social
- 9:55Speaker 6: media is that they have these things in their mind
- 9:57Speaker 6: of why they can't do it, or why they don't
- 9:59Speaker 6: want to do it, why it's scary. They're like, I'm
- 10:01Speaker 6: not gonna do TikTok because I got to dance around.
- 10:03Speaker 6: I only do business videos. I don't dance around on TikTok,
- 10:05Speaker 6: and I get lots of views. You can too. They're like, oh,
- 10:09Speaker 6: I don't want to tweet. I don't know if anybody's
- 10:10Speaker 6: gonna listen. People go viral with four hundred followers and
- 10:13Speaker 6: get millions of views off of Twitter because of the
- 10:15Speaker 6: way the reality works on Twitter. People get like, I
- 10:18Speaker 6: don't want to do Facebook because I don't want to
- 10:20Speaker 6: see my aunts and uncle argue about politics. You don't
- 10:23Speaker 6: have to use it as social media. You can just
- 10:24Speaker 6: use it as media. You don't have to do the
- 10:26Speaker 6: social part if you don't want to. If you don't
- 10:28Speaker 6: like Facebook, don't do it. You don't like TikTok, you
- 10:30Speaker 6: don't have to use it. For the social element, but
- 10:32Speaker 6: you do need to use it for media because you
- 10:34Speaker 6: have a personal brand, whether you like it or not.
- 10:36Speaker 6: Your friends from high school think about you, your coworkers
- 10:39Speaker 6: think about you, the people in your neighborhood think about you.
- 10:41Speaker 6: People interact with you, and they think about you, and
- 10:43Speaker 6: you have a personal brand. It's up to you to
- 10:45Speaker 6: decide if you're going to tell your story or let
- 10:47Speaker 6: them gossip and have rumors and think about you without
- 10:49Speaker 6: you telling your story. And so for me, the reason
- 10:52Speaker 6: that I'm so passionate about social media is that I've
- 10:54Speaker 6: watched it change so many people's lives, and I watched
- 10:57Speaker 6: people make money, make careers, make babies, Like a lot
- 11:00Speaker 6: of things happen when you create social media content, and
- 11:03Speaker 6: it's free. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, every
- 11:08Speaker 6: single one of those platforms is free. So there's no
- 11:10Speaker 6: excuse about the budget part because it's free. You already
- 11:12Speaker 6: have a fancy phone because you're watching right now on
- 11:15Speaker 6: a laptop or an iPhone or an Android, so you
- 11:17Speaker 6: already have a really fancy phone and really fancy camera.
- 11:20Speaker 6: So everything that you need to make social media is
- 11:21Speaker 6: completely free.
- 11:25Speaker 5: That's important. Can you talk about the importance of where
- 11:28Speaker 5: you're placing the content. I know you said that. You know,
- 11:30Speaker 5: I'd rather have two thousand hits on LinkedIn rather than
- 11:35Speaker 5: twenty thousand views on Instagram. Having the importance of where
- 11:38Speaker 5: you're placing the content and the value add of each
- 11:40Speaker 5: one of those yep.
- 11:42Speaker 6: So depending on your career, passion, or hobby, there's going
- 11:45Speaker 6: to be different platforms for you. LinkedIn is very very
- 11:48Speaker 6: business focused, which is why it's the best platform when
- 11:50Speaker 6: you're trying to be a real estate agent, an investor,
- 11:54Speaker 6: and accountant, you're looking for a job, you're trying to
- 11:56Speaker 6: hire people. Link LinkedIn is the best platform for that.
- 11:59Speaker 6: But at night might not be the platform you make
- 12:00Speaker 6: your content for. Most people make their content for Instagram
- 12:04Speaker 6: or Facebook. What you can do is then repurpose that
- 12:07Speaker 6: exact same content on LinkedIn, on TikTok, on Facebook, et cetera.
- 12:12Speaker 6: So you're gonna make your content for a platform that
- 12:14Speaker 6: you're comfortable with, which is usually Instagram or Facebook, and
- 12:16Speaker 6: then repurpose that exact same content on the other platforms.
- 12:20Speaker 6: What you're not gonna do is don't post about your
- 12:22Speaker 6: dogs on LinkedIn. You're not gonna post about kids on LinkedIn.
- 12:25Speaker 6: That's more for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok and Twitter. LinkedIn
- 12:29Speaker 6: is going to be very business career focused. But all
- 12:31Speaker 6: the other platforms, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, you can post
- 12:35Speaker 6: the exact same content on all those platforms and then
- 12:37Speaker 6: use your business content on LinkedIn.
- 12:41Speaker 3: So I want to talk about, you know, building relationships.
- 12:45Speaker 3: I know you worked with the Kardashians, right, yep, So
- 12:50Speaker 3: how did that go?
- 12:51Speaker 4: What's the story behind that?
- 12:53Speaker 6: So that started back in the Fashion Nova days, when
- 12:55Speaker 6: Fashion nov was first getting started. I was driving to
- 12:58Speaker 6: Kylie's house and driving to Kim's house and addresses and cashiers,
- 13:02Speaker 6: check or wire transfer whatever it was back then, to
- 13:05Speaker 6: do posts. And then fifty I was doing their campaigns.
- 13:09Speaker 6: They were spending six figures a month with me, sometimes
- 13:11Speaker 6: millions dollars a month with me. Same thing. I go
- 13:13Speaker 6: over to Kylie's house, go over to Kim's house, drop
- 13:15Speaker 6: off fifty, explain what I wanted for the posts, and
- 13:18Speaker 6: from there I was doing Black China, Scott Disick, amber Rose,
- 13:21Speaker 6: all the different characters on social media. When it was
- 13:24Speaker 6: first getting started, you know, they only had five hundred
- 13:27Speaker 6: thousand fowers and a million, then two million, ten million.
- 13:29Speaker 6: They didn't have hundreds of millions of followers like now,
- 13:32Speaker 6: and so watching the evolution of it has been fascinating
- 13:34Speaker 6: to see the fashion of as the fifties pretty little thing,
- 13:38Speaker 6: all these different brands that have scaled from social media,
- 13:40Speaker 6: but it all really started back in the fashion of
- 13:42Speaker 6: the fifteen days.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Okay, so my follow up question for that is, but
- 13:48Speaker 3: people that's looking to work with influencers, now, what advice
- 13:51Speaker 3: would you give them to you know, start working, like
- 13:54Speaker 3: if they have a clothing brand or if they are
- 13:56Speaker 3: a trainer, what advice would you give people that's looking
- 13:59Speaker 3: to work with influencers.
- 14:00Speaker 6: Absolutely, it's never been easier to get connected with an
- 14:03Speaker 6: influencer because you can just slide in their dms, they
- 14:05Speaker 6: have their email addresses and most of the time in
- 14:07Speaker 6: their bios, and you can also go to platforms where
- 14:10Speaker 6: they're not as big. So let's say they're on Instagram
- 14:12Speaker 6: and they got three million followers, they might not see
- 14:14Speaker 6: your DMS, but on Facebook or Twitter or LinkedIn, they
- 14:18Speaker 6: might only have four thousand followers or fifty thousan followers,
- 14:20Speaker 6: one hundred thousand followers, et cetera. So it's easier to
- 14:23Speaker 6: connect with them not on their main platform by dming
- 14:26Speaker 6: or emailing them on a different platform. Also, be really
- 14:29Speaker 6: clear with what you want to offer. So if you're
- 14:31Speaker 6: saying I want to give you free clothes, or I
- 14:33Speaker 6: want to pay you two hundred bucks or five hundred
- 14:34Speaker 6: bucks or a thousand bucks or whatever you want to
- 14:36Speaker 6: pay for the posts, make that clear in the first
- 14:39Speaker 6: five words of your message so that they open up
- 14:41Speaker 6: your message. This is really important. Don't say Hi, how
- 14:44Speaker 6: are you doing, and then say I want to pay
- 14:46Speaker 6: you five hundred bucks, because what will happen is if
- 14:48Speaker 6: I'm Amber Rose or I'm Taiga and I'm looking at
- 14:52Speaker 6: your DM that came in, I'm going to see, Hi,
- 14:54Speaker 6: how are you doing. I've got thousands of those, so
- 14:56Speaker 6: I'm not even going to open it if I'm the influencer.
- 14:58Speaker 6: Does that make sense? So it's important in the very
- 15:00Speaker 6: there's a few words to say, paid posts, free clothes.
- 15:03Speaker 6: Start off with exactly what you want to offer in
- 15:06Speaker 6: the first five words so that they can see it.
- 15:09Speaker 5: That makes perfect sense. That happens a lot if I
- 15:12Speaker 5: look at my dms and somebody says, hey, mister millions,
- 15:14Speaker 5: I'm always looking because I feel like there's a student
- 15:16Speaker 5: from my past that's reaching out to me, So that's
- 15:19Speaker 5: very important. I want to tell about the consistency right
- 15:21Speaker 5: as your network and you're gaining obviously clients, you have
- 15:26Speaker 5: to be consistent with what you're putting up at what's
- 15:28Speaker 5: the strategic plan that you have or does it change
- 15:31Speaker 5: based on clients' needs? Yep.
- 15:34Speaker 6: So what's interesting for for our agency? For example, we
- 15:37Speaker 6: paid three five hundred influencers just this year, so thirty
- 15:40Speaker 6: five hundred separate w NI influencers. And if you understand influencers,
- 15:44Speaker 6: that's like chasing cats, like to try to get them
- 15:46Speaker 6: to fill out a W nine form. It's not easy
- 15:48Speaker 6: in the influencer space. That happened because of the consistencies.
- 15:52Speaker 6: For the last nine years, I have no long term contracts.
- 15:55Speaker 6: I do all the TV shows for BT for the
- 15:57Speaker 6: last four years. I do everything for Oracle for the
- 15:59Speaker 6: last five years. All my clients are four years, five years,
- 16:02Speaker 6: six years, nine years, et cetera. From consistency, not from
- 16:05Speaker 6: them being locked into contracts. I don't even have a
- 16:07Speaker 6: long term contract. The way I do it is everything
- 16:10Speaker 6: I say, I underpromise and I over deliver and by
- 16:14Speaker 6: doing that, even if it's just a little bit. If
- 16:16Speaker 6: I do that, the clients are gonna reorder over and
- 16:19Speaker 6: over and over. And that's what my whole life's been like,
- 16:21Speaker 6: is that I always say, hey, you know what, we're
- 16:23Speaker 6: gonna get you one million views. If we get them
- 16:26Speaker 6: one point nine million, what's gonna happen. They're gonna reorder, right.
- 16:29Speaker 6: But what if I over exaggerate and say, you know what,
- 16:31Speaker 6: I'm gonna get you two point five million views and
- 16:33Speaker 6: then I get them one point nine I'm a failure, right,
- 16:36Speaker 6: They're gonna fire me. And so I always underestimate what
- 16:39Speaker 6: I'm gonna do for them, and don't ever say like,
- 16:41Speaker 6: I'm gonna get you fifty posts and then get them
- 16:44Speaker 6: forty five. They'll hate me. If I say I'm gonna
- 16:47Speaker 6: get you thirty posts and get you in forty five,
- 16:49Speaker 6: I fifty percent over delivered. And so I'm not gonna
- 16:52Speaker 6: lose a client by saying something that's a realistic number
- 16:55Speaker 6: and then overperforming. A lot of times people say I'm
- 16:57Speaker 6: gonna get you one hundred different posts, and I'm gonna
- 16:59Speaker 6: get you. I remind you, is why would you You
- 17:02Speaker 6: don't have to do that? You don't have to exaggerate,
- 17:04Speaker 6: and so I'm really big on underpromising and over delivering.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Yeah, that's extremely important. And I learned that.
- 17:11Speaker 3: You know, I used to be in financial services, and
- 17:13Speaker 3: it's like as an advisor, like you might tell somebody,
- 17:17Speaker 3: you know, you can expect a six percent rate of
- 17:19Speaker 3: return over the course of a couple of years, and
- 17:21Speaker 3: then if they get a twelve percent rate of return,
- 17:24Speaker 3: then they're looking at you like, you know, you're a hero.
- 17:27Speaker 3: But if you told them that you're going to get
- 17:29Speaker 3: an eighteen percent rate of return, even if they get
- 17:31Speaker 3: fifteen percent rate of return, which actually leads the market,
- 17:34Speaker 3: they're disappointed because the expectations that you set early on
- 17:38Speaker 3: were too high.
- 17:39Speaker 4: That's an extremely valuable lesson.
- 17:41Speaker 3: You have to know how to set not even realistic expectations,
- 17:46Speaker 3: a little lower than realistic expectations so you can over
- 17:50Speaker 3: deliver and now psychologically you look like a champion as
- 17:53Speaker 3: opposed to somebody that didn't hit the benchmark in.
- 17:56Speaker 6: All aspects of life. Imagine you tell your wife, I'm
- 17:58Speaker 6: gonna be home at nine o'clock and you get there.
- 18:01Speaker 6: You're in trouble, right, you say I'm gonna get there
- 18:03Speaker 6: a ten o'clock get their nine twenty five. You're a hero.
- 18:06Speaker 5: I missed you so much, honey, I came home early.
- 18:11Speaker 3: I want to I want to talk about branching out right.
- 18:14Speaker 3: So it's like you have multiple streams of income. And
- 18:18Speaker 3: this is something that a lot of entrepreneurs struggle with
- 18:20Speaker 3: as well, where they always hear that that that's saying
- 18:22Speaker 3: you need seven streams of income, and I always say, like,
- 18:25Speaker 3: it's not necessarily that you need seven stream seven different
- 18:27Speaker 3: businesses or seven different jobs. You just need to perfect
- 18:30Speaker 3: one thing really well and then you'll have spinoffs off
- 18:34Speaker 3: of that one thing. So like a restaurant, right, Like
- 18:37Speaker 3: a restaurant owner can now you know, write a cookbook.
- 18:42Speaker 3: A restaurant owner can now you know, be a private chef,
- 18:45Speaker 3: they can coach, they can consult other restaurants. So you
- 18:48Speaker 3: can create a whole ecosystem of revenue streams based off
- 18:52Speaker 3: of one level of expertise. So how have you been
- 18:55Speaker 3: able to to kind of, you know, diversify your business
- 18:58Speaker 3: model by doing moremultiple different things off of your core
- 19:02Speaker 3: principle of business.
- 19:04Speaker 6: So my core businesses Elevator Studios, that's my social media agency.
- 19:07Speaker 6: I've done it for niney years. I'm gonna do it
- 19:09Speaker 6: for many many years. I'm never going to sell it
- 19:11Speaker 6: because you can't sell agency. You only get a one
- 19:13Speaker 6: x multiple users on agencies, So I'm never going to
- 19:15Speaker 6: exit my agency. I use it for leverage to do
- 19:17Speaker 6: exactly what you just said. I now have Elevator Rolling Fund,
- 19:21Speaker 6: which is my hedge fund. I have Elevator Syndicate, which
- 19:23Speaker 6: is eight hundred and forty six investors in my syndicate group,
- 19:26Speaker 6: so I get twenty percent of fees when I invest
- 19:28Speaker 6: into deals. We did forty one million dollars in investments
- 19:31Speaker 6: just this year. So I'm using my social media agency
- 19:33Speaker 6: as my leverage point to pay influencers to build the brand,
- 19:37Speaker 6: get connections with brands. Relationships make influencers happy because I'm
- 19:40Speaker 6: paying them for stuff. And then when I invest in
- 19:43Speaker 6: the companies, I now have favors, right because I in
- 19:45Speaker 6: mess in this company and say hey, I made you
- 19:47Speaker 6: one hundred grand the last four months on social media,
- 19:50Speaker 6: will you post about this drink or this food, or
- 19:53Speaker 6: this skateboard or this brand or this bike or this
- 19:55Speaker 6: restaurant whatever, And they're happy to do it because I've
- 19:57Speaker 6: helped make them money. And so I use my core
- 19:59Speaker 6: business exactly like you said, and then I branch out
- 20:01Speaker 6: where I'm speaking at events. I throw Elevator Nights, which
- 20:04Speaker 6: is my free event. I don't make money from that,
- 20:05Speaker 6: but it's my free event that I bring in three
- 20:08Speaker 6: hundred to one thousand guests at each event. But all
- 20:10Speaker 6: these things build relationship, some of them build income, but
- 20:13Speaker 6: all of it comes from the stem of this is
- 20:15Speaker 6: my core business. I do social media posts. I've done
- 20:17Speaker 6: one hundred and ten thousand paid posts. That's my day job.
- 20:20Speaker 6: That's my core business. And then all the other things
- 20:22Speaker 6: are tacked on under the exact same name too. It's
- 20:24Speaker 6: all Elevator. Just like you said, there.
- 20:27Speaker 5: Was a lot inside of it. And I'm glad you
- 20:29Speaker 5: brought up the word the syndicated investing because I was
- 20:33Speaker 5: watching the clip on it. I'm like, that's pretty interesting.
- 20:35Speaker 5: Can you break down exactly syndicate investing? And I guess
- 20:39Speaker 5: angel investing because I feel like maybe our audience is
- 20:41Speaker 5: familiar with the angel side of it. But you spoke
- 20:44Speaker 5: about syndicate. Can you break that down?
- 20:46Speaker 6: Yep, So as an angel investor, that's you as an individual.
- 20:49Speaker 6: So I've done forty three angel investments, average one hundred
- 20:52Speaker 6: thousand and five hundred thousand per check. Most angel investments
- 20:55Speaker 6: range from a twenty five thousand, which is kind of
- 20:57Speaker 6: the average check, to one hundred thousand. Even the really
- 20:59Speaker 6: really wealthy guys are doing twenty five k to one
- 21:01Speaker 6: hundred K, and then when they get into it deeper,
- 21:03Speaker 6: they'll start to do to fifty five hundred, et cetera.
- 21:06Speaker 6: If they're really behind a brand, if they're really behind
- 21:08Speaker 6: the business. On the syndicate side, the eight hundred and
- 21:11Speaker 6: forty six investors that are there, that's where I'm able
- 21:14Speaker 6: to do a zoom call like this and say, Hey,
- 21:16Speaker 6: I'm raising money for let's call it ever Bowl, which
- 21:19Speaker 6: is an asie bowl chain. I'm raising money for ever Bowl.
- 21:22Speaker 6: I'm investing five hundred thousand, my friends investing one hundred thousand,
- 21:25Speaker 6: this person investing two hundred thousand. So collectively, me and
- 21:27Speaker 6: four friends we're putting in a million bucks. We're raising
- 21:29Speaker 6: four million dollars more. Now, the syndicate members can make
- 21:33Speaker 6: a decisions bluely optional. If they want to invest, they
- 21:36Speaker 6: can say I'll do twenty five K, I'll do fifty K,
- 21:39Speaker 6: I'll do one hundred K, and they can text your
- 21:40Speaker 6: emails saying that they're going to invest as a group.
- 21:43Speaker 6: Now those forty two people come in. We've raised the
- 21:46Speaker 6: four million dollars plus the million dollars that me and
- 21:49Speaker 6: my friends are contributing, so now we have five million
- 21:51Speaker 6: dollars to give to the company. Ever bowl in this example,
- 21:55Speaker 6: we then give the five million dollars to the company.
- 21:57Speaker 6: The founders were happy because they're getting one check. All
- 22:01Speaker 6: of the people in the syndicate group have to wire
- 22:03Speaker 6: to me an elevator syndicate, and then I wire one
- 22:05Speaker 6: check to the company, which is important because the company
- 22:08Speaker 6: doesn't have to deal with forty seven different people. They
- 22:10Speaker 6: just deal with me. They have optional to inter interact
- 22:14Speaker 6: with them because they're strategic investors, but they don't have to.
- 22:17Speaker 6: So syndication deals are really powerful in that fashion for
- 22:19Speaker 6: an entrepreneur because you can collectively raise a bunch of
- 22:22Speaker 6: money in smaller twenty five K, fifty K, hundred k
- 22:24Speaker 6: checks for the company. Now the syndicate in our in
- 22:28Speaker 6: our situation, there is a twenty percent carry, so some
- 22:32Speaker 6: people take a two and twenty. It was like a
- 22:33Speaker 6: normal hedge fund where you'd take two percent of the
- 22:36Speaker 6: money raised. So five million in that example, normally we
- 22:39Speaker 6: take two percent. We don't take that and then twenty
- 22:41Speaker 6: percent and not say you shouldn't. In case you do
- 22:43Speaker 6: a syndicate, you can and should take the two percent
- 22:45Speaker 6: and then the twenty percent carry is when that company sells.
- 22:48Speaker 6: So let's say we put in five million at a
- 22:50Speaker 6: fifteen million vialuation and we own a third of the
- 22:52Speaker 6: business in that example, later that company that was worth
- 22:55Speaker 6: fifteen million sells for sixty The syndicate investors get their
- 22:59Speaker 6: money act at the fifteen million nuation and then out
- 23:02Speaker 6: of the forty five million, we then get twenty percent
- 23:05Speaker 6: of their profits. So we don't get any money from
- 23:07Speaker 6: what they put in, but we get twenty percent above.
- 23:10Speaker 6: So let's say you put in one hundred thousand and
- 23:12Speaker 6: you got back four hundred thousand, we would get twenty
- 23:14Speaker 6: percent with a three hundred thousand profit as a syndicate group.
- 23:17Speaker 6: And you guys can replicate this for business. People can
- 23:21Speaker 6: do it for real estate as well. It's a different model.
- 23:23Speaker 6: You can't use angelists. Angelists is what we use. That's
- 23:26Speaker 6: the biggest platform in the world. It's very inexpensive to
- 23:28Speaker 6: use it. If anybody wants to do a syndicate, but
- 23:30Speaker 6: we use angelists. You cannot do that for real estate,
- 23:33Speaker 6: but you can do syndication deals for real estate. It's
- 23:35Speaker 6: really a powerful way to raise capital and smaller checks
- 23:38Speaker 6: for one big deal.
- 23:41Speaker 3: So you're in the business, you say you put up
- 23:45Speaker 3: hundreds of thousands of the posts, right?
- 23:48Speaker 4: What? Okay?
- 23:49Speaker 3: This is the million dollar question. What is the secret
- 23:53Speaker 3: formula for having post work?
- 23:55Speaker 5: Like?
- 23:56Speaker 4: What works and what does not work?
- 23:59Speaker 6: So it's interesting I've handwritten almost all the captions. Out
- 24:02Speaker 6: of one hundred and ten thousand posts, We've done almost
- 24:04Speaker 6: every caption I've written. And the basic things are the
- 24:08Speaker 6: human eye the brain. When we're scrolling through social media
- 24:12Speaker 6: and we see something that we like that gets us
- 24:14Speaker 6: a serotonin, we see the visual thing that photo or video.
- 24:17Speaker 6: Let's say Kylie Jenner is holding up glow water last week. Right,
- 24:21Speaker 6: Visually you see her holding up glow water. The caption
- 24:25Speaker 6: has to be easily readable. If the caption would have
- 24:28Speaker 6: said I'm Kylie, I love glow water, thank you, and
- 24:31Speaker 6: shout out to this photographer, this location, this makeup artist,
- 24:34Speaker 6: this hairstylus, the human eye would see too many things
- 24:37Speaker 6: and too many tags, and we wouldn't think about glow Water,
- 24:40Speaker 6: and we wouldn't click on it because there's too much
- 24:42Speaker 6: action happening. If it says I love at glow Water,
- 24:45Speaker 6: now us as consumers and followers know what to do.
- 24:48Speaker 6: Right if she says I love Fashionova or thank you
- 24:51Speaker 6: to Fit t et cetera, the human eye knows what
- 24:54Speaker 6: to do because there's only three to eight words of
- 24:56Speaker 6: what to click on. If it starts to be a sentence,
- 25:01Speaker 6: the human eye will skip through it. When you give
- 25:02Speaker 6: us too many options, we choose none. And so it's
- 25:05Speaker 6: really important when you do shoutouts, when you do influencer campaigns,
- 25:08Speaker 6: make the caption really easy to read. Ideally it's like
- 25:11Speaker 6: four to fifteen words and it's not like a speech.
- 25:15Speaker 6: It's not tagging multiple things, there's no extra hashtags. Just
- 25:18Speaker 6: think about what the human eye could see, and think
- 25:20Speaker 6: about for yourself when you're scrolling through, what do you
- 25:22Speaker 6: want to look at? If you see something with five
- 25:24Speaker 6: tags in it, you're not going to click any of
- 25:26Speaker 6: them because there's too much noise.
- 25:28Speaker 4: So you say how many words max?
- 25:31Speaker 2: You want?
- 25:32Speaker 6: Four to fifteen so that way it doesn't go more
- 25:34Speaker 6: than three sentences. On Instagram, for example, you don't want
- 25:37Speaker 6: to go more than three sentences because then it becomes
- 25:40Speaker 6: under the fold. Under the fold means they have to
- 25:42Speaker 6: click it to be able to see the rest of
- 25:43Speaker 6: the words. You don't want to be able to have.
- 25:45Speaker 6: You don't want them to have to click it.
- 25:48Speaker 5: How often are you updating you know the changes that
- 25:51Speaker 5: happen on social media, right, because that makes sense and
- 25:54Speaker 5: it sounds like, yeah, we could do that, but then
- 25:56Speaker 5: there's an algorithm that catches us and then people don't
- 25:59Speaker 5: see you will we're posting. How do you combat that?
- 26:02Speaker 6: So the hard part with the algorithm it changes every day,
- 26:05Speaker 6: not every week, not every month. We just don't notice
- 26:07Speaker 6: all the little changes that happen as they're testing, and
- 26:10Speaker 6: they're testing for different segments, different audiences, different countries, different cities,
- 26:14Speaker 6: et cetera. So there's a lot of changes happening. The
- 26:16Speaker 6: main thing to keep in mind is if you want
- 26:18Speaker 6: people to see your content is keep your photos and
- 26:22Speaker 6: videos for the people that are watching, not for yourself.
- 26:26Speaker 6: If you make share about content, people engage with it,
- 26:29Speaker 6: whether you show them something interesting, make them laugh, or
- 26:32Speaker 6: teach them something. If you do one of those three things.
- 26:34Speaker 6: If you teach them something, they will share it. If
- 26:36Speaker 6: they share it, Instagram knows ding you're doing something good
- 26:40Speaker 6: because someone forwarded your posts. If they see that people
- 26:43Speaker 6: are liking it, Ding, they see that people like it,
- 26:45Speaker 6: now they're going to show it to some more people.
- 26:47Speaker 6: If you made them laugh and they're tagging their friends, Ding,
- 26:50Speaker 6: see what you have to make people want to engage.
- 26:52Speaker 6: The way you do it is make the content for
- 26:54Speaker 6: the people. That part will never change. The algorithm will
- 26:57Speaker 6: always reward engagement on the posts. The way to get
- 27:00Speaker 6: engagement is to make it for the people watching, not
- 27:02Speaker 6: for yourself.
- 27:05Speaker 3: So how do you feel about videos?
- 27:09Speaker 4: How long should a video?
- 27:11Speaker 3: Because now every video is a real even if it's
- 27:13Speaker 3: four minutes, it's still a real And we know that
- 27:16Speaker 3: reels performed better than just regular videos.
- 27:21Speaker 4: How long should a video be?
- 27:24Speaker 6: So for the most part, I don't do any videos
- 27:27Speaker 6: on over fifty nine seconds. We live in a very
- 27:30Speaker 6: add society, and TikTok has made it even faster. You know,
- 27:34Speaker 6: Vine first made it really fast at six seconds. Instagram
- 27:37Speaker 6: was fifteen seconds and then finally became sixty and then
- 27:39Speaker 6: they made IGTV. But IGTV is the proof that people
- 27:42Speaker 6: are not watching long form content on Instagram because IGTV
- 27:46Speaker 6: is not here, so people are not going through that
- 27:49Speaker 6: platform to watch long form content. They are there for
- 27:52Speaker 6: short form content. Same thing with ig stories. You want
- 27:55Speaker 6: to keep your clips under fifteen clips because if you
- 27:58Speaker 6: have forty five clips, we're going to keep all of
- 28:00Speaker 6: them because we're not in that time. We're not there
- 28:03Speaker 6: in our mindset when we're looking at ig stories, we
- 28:06Speaker 6: want to be fast, and so when someone's enjoying Instagram,
- 28:09Speaker 6: you want to keep those videos to under a minute
- 28:11Speaker 6: for the most part, unless you need a deep dive,
- 28:13Speaker 6: unless you need to go down the rabbit hole. On YouTube,
- 28:15Speaker 6: it's the opposite. Unless you're doing a YouTube short. You
- 28:18Speaker 6: want to make four minute, twelve minute, twenty minute videos
- 28:21Speaker 6: because that's where people are going for long form content.
- 28:24Speaker 6: YouTube is like TV to people, so they'll watch them
- 28:26Speaker 6: from content. But for the most part, just keep in
- 28:28Speaker 6: mind what you would watch if you're on Instagram, you're
- 28:31Speaker 6: on Twitter, you're on Facebook. Under sixty seconds is what
- 28:34Speaker 6: I do for all my videos because I want it
- 28:35Speaker 6: and all my ads. I don't do any ads over
- 28:37Speaker 6: fifty nine seconds. Never, It's never happened. Never will you
- 28:40Speaker 6: want people to be able to consume that content in
- 28:43Speaker 6: a short in a short form fashion, unless you're on YouTube.
- 28:48Speaker 5: So when you have obviously high profile clients, is there
- 28:52Speaker 5: a specific peak time that you ideally that you like
- 28:56Speaker 5: to pose in How consistently, how consistently and how how
- 29:00Speaker 5: many times or how often do you suggest people posts
- 29:03Speaker 5: YEP on a daily basis.
- 29:05Speaker 6: So the main thing to keep in mind is it's
- 29:07Speaker 6: kind of like if a tree falls in the forest
- 29:09Speaker 6: and no one's around. The main thing to do is
- 29:11Speaker 6: posting people are awake. I often see people posting at
- 29:14Speaker 6: three am and midnight, et cetera, and then they're on
- 29:17Speaker 6: the West coast and now it's three hours later on
- 29:19Speaker 6: the East coast. If people are awake, they cannot engage
- 29:22Speaker 6: with their content and they are unlikely to see it
- 29:24Speaker 6: the next day because if your post doesn't do well,
- 29:27Speaker 6: Instagram or the other platforms are not going to show
- 29:29Speaker 6: it to them, and so then it's like a double
- 29:30Speaker 6: whammy against you. So the main trick is posting people
- 29:33Speaker 6: are awake first. Second, when you start to get granular,
- 29:37Speaker 6: eight and nine in the morning is always going to
- 29:39Speaker 6: be the best because that's when people are first getting up,
- 29:42Speaker 6: going to work, first getting to school or they're at work,
- 29:45Speaker 6: and the first thing they do is check their phone.
- 29:46Speaker 6: And so a lot of the things I talk about
- 29:48Speaker 6: are just real life common sense. The same way you
- 29:50Speaker 6: read a caption, the same way human behavior is if
- 29:53Speaker 6: my eye can't see it, or I'm on my way
- 29:55Speaker 6: to work, that's the times that I'm looking at content.
- 29:58Speaker 6: The next part is at five pm. Five pm to
- 30:01Speaker 6: six pm is when people are leaving work, leaving school,
- 30:03Speaker 6: just getting home. During that time, it can also now breathe.
- 30:08Speaker 6: Breathing means the post is getting some engagement, and it
- 30:12Speaker 6: can breathe because the platform is showing to more people.
- 30:14Speaker 6: And so if you post at five to six pm
- 30:16Speaker 6: and people are starting to trickle home again, one of
- 30:18Speaker 6: the first things they do is they open up their
- 30:20Speaker 6: phones to look at social media. So eight to nine
- 30:23Speaker 6: in the morning when they first get to school or work,
- 30:25Speaker 6: five to six pm when they're first leaving all of
- 30:27Speaker 6: my posts for paid posts, I'm requesting an eight am
- 30:31Speaker 6: post or a nine am post, depending on what city
- 30:32Speaker 6: they're in, or a five or six pm posts, depending
- 30:34Speaker 6: on what city are Then Monday through Friday, the weekends
- 30:37Speaker 6: are much different because there is no driving to work,
- 30:40Speaker 6: there is no getting home from school, et cetera. So
- 30:42Speaker 6: the weekends are mostly just posting any time between eight
- 30:45Speaker 6: am and six pm. It could be eleven, one three.
- 30:49Speaker 6: There's no formula to the weekends because sometimes there's football games,
- 30:53Speaker 6: sometimes there's award show, sometimes there's them going to a picnic.
- 30:56Speaker 6: There's things happening on the weekends. So you're gonna have
- 30:58Speaker 6: a very different ebb and flow when it comes to
- 31:00Speaker 6: the weekends. But Monday through Friday, keep in mind eight
- 31:03Speaker 6: am to nine pm is ideal and five to six
- 31:05Speaker 6: pm is ideal.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Is when you say PM, are you are you referring
- 31:09Speaker 3: to Eastern Standard Time, So.
- 31:12Speaker 6: I'm referring to a PSD referring to the West Coast time,
- 31:15Speaker 6: except if the majority of your followers are in East Coast,
- 31:18Speaker 6: then the time is the same for you. If you
- 31:21Speaker 6: have a national audience or international audience, then you're going
- 31:24Speaker 6: to want to go a bit earlier, keeping in mind
- 31:26Speaker 6: the time difference.
- 31:27Speaker 3: So you look geographically where your followers are and base
- 31:32Speaker 3: it off of that.
- 31:35Speaker 6: GREGT if I have an East Coast, if I have
- 31:37Speaker 6: someone from New York or Miami doing a post, I'm
- 31:39Speaker 6: having them post usually at ten eleven am. Because that's
- 31:43Speaker 6: going to be eight to nine am out here on
- 31:44Speaker 6: the West Coast. I'm not going to have someone on
- 31:47Speaker 6: the West Coast. I won't let them post at ten
- 31:49Speaker 6: pm because that's one in the morning. You know, if
- 31:51Speaker 6: you're in Atlanta, in New York, Miami, it's so late
- 31:54Speaker 6: they're sleeping. So I'm very strict about that eight am post,
- 31:57Speaker 6: nine am post, or five to six pm posts the
- 32:00Speaker 6: West Coast.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Do you feel that for entrepreneurs right? How do you
- 32:06Speaker 3: feel about people selling from social media pages? Do you
- 32:10Speaker 3: think that social media should just be, you know, not
- 32:13Speaker 3: really for a hard sale or can you sell from
- 32:16Speaker 3: a social media page?
- 32:16Speaker 4: How do you feel about that?
- 32:18Speaker 6: You absolutely positively can sell from a social media page.
- 32:22Speaker 6: If you believe in something that it helps people either
- 32:25Speaker 6: make more money, better credit, get a house, lose weight,
- 32:30Speaker 6: improve their marriage, better food, et cetera. It is rude
- 32:33Speaker 6: of you not to sell it. If you think what
- 32:36Speaker 6: you sell helps people, it is rude of you not
- 32:38Speaker 6: to sell it. And people pay for what they believe in.
- 32:42Speaker 6: So if someone buys something from you and you're selling
- 32:45Speaker 6: them something at one hundred dollars where you give it
- 32:47Speaker 6: to them for free, I promise to you without a
- 32:49Speaker 6: shot of a doubt. I've done this my whole life.
- 32:51Speaker 6: If they paid one hundred bucks, they will take it
- 32:53Speaker 6: way more seriously. They'll be given to them for free.
- 32:55Speaker 6: And a lot of people are taken back by that
- 32:57Speaker 6: because like, oh, if you believe in your product and
- 32:59Speaker 6: you're to help people, just give it away for free.
- 33:01Speaker 6: People will do not take action when they get something
- 33:04Speaker 6: for free. If you throw an event, I'll give you
- 33:06Speaker 6: an example. When I throw Elevator Nights, which is similar
- 33:08Speaker 6: to your business conference. My event's free. I have to
- 33:12Speaker 6: have two to three times the amount of people RSVP
- 33:15Speaker 6: to show up because of the free ticket. Your guys event,
- 33:18Speaker 6: if they paid two hundred, five hundred bucks, thousand bucks,
- 33:20Speaker 6: two grand, whatever, they're going to show up because they
- 33:22Speaker 6: pay five hundred bucks on a thousand bucks, right, They're
- 33:24Speaker 6: always going to show up for my event that's free.
- 33:27Speaker 6: If I don't get a thousand people RSVP, and I'm
- 33:29Speaker 6: not going to get three to five hundred people to
- 33:31Speaker 6: show up because it's a free ticket, they don't mind.
- 33:34Speaker 6: I'll be late. Who cares it was free? So when
- 33:37Speaker 6: I have my Mastermind events, My Mastermind events one hundred
- 33:40Speaker 6: thousand dollars. Nobody misses it, right, they'll cancel whatever they
- 33:44Speaker 6: have to cancel, fly across the country. The planets to
- 33:46Speaker 6: be there because they paid a lot of money to
- 33:48Speaker 6: be there. If they don't pay anything for it, they're
- 33:51Speaker 6: not going to take it as seriously. So do not
- 33:53Speaker 6: be scared to sell on social media. However, keep one
- 33:56Speaker 6: thing in mind. Do not sell every day. If you're
- 33:59Speaker 6: selling every day, people are gonna be blocking you. They
- 34:02Speaker 6: don't want to watch it. They don't want to they
- 34:03Speaker 6: don't want to feel sold to every single post. And
- 34:06Speaker 6: so the idea is, give content, make them laugh, make
- 34:09Speaker 6: it interesting, teach them something, et cetera. Boom asks for
- 34:12Speaker 6: the sale, make content, make them laugh, make them interesting,
- 34:15Speaker 6: make them part of your life. Build some emotional attachment,
- 34:18Speaker 6: top of mind awareness, Boom, go for the sale. If
- 34:21Speaker 6: you do that, I promise you your engagement will go
- 34:23Speaker 6: through the roof and they'll help you sell rather than
- 34:25Speaker 6: if you're trying to sell every day, people are gonna
- 34:27Speaker 6: stop watching.
- 34:29Speaker 3: If you don't pay, you're not paying attention. And that's
- 34:31Speaker 3: really true a lot of times. And yeah, we do
- 34:35Speaker 3: a lot of free events as well, so we know
- 34:37Speaker 3: the ratio. Sometimes it's even worse than that. Sometimes you
- 34:39Speaker 3: can have to do like a five to one, a
- 34:40Speaker 3: four to one ratio, depending on the event, depending on
- 34:43Speaker 3: the market, depending.
- 34:44Speaker 4: On the day.
- 34:45Speaker 3: And you know, it's one of these unfortunate situations, but
- 34:50Speaker 3: it's a reality. And you have a free event and
- 34:54Speaker 3: you have to get five thousand people to RSVP for
- 34:58Speaker 3: one thousand people to show up, and they just don't
- 35:02Speaker 3: take it serious because you could be an Idaho and
- 35:05Speaker 3: just RSVP for an event in Miami and it's like,
- 35:08Speaker 3: why not just do it just because.
- 35:12Speaker 4: We've seen So that's it.
- 35:13Speaker 3: I have to say that's important for when you're starting
- 35:15Speaker 3: your business. Anybody that's listening, if you have a free anything,
- 35:19Speaker 3: if you're doing giveaways, free events, understand that you have
- 35:23Speaker 3: to take that into consideration, because you might not take
- 35:26Speaker 3: that in consideration. You might just think, Okay, I'm looking
- 35:28Speaker 3: for a thousand people, A thousand people signed up for
- 35:31Speaker 3: this free giveaway, A thousand people sign up for this
- 35:33Speaker 3: free event, and I'm good, and then you get disappointed
- 35:36Speaker 3: with only three hundred or two hundred people actually show up.
- 35:39Speaker 3: So if you're if you haven't done that before, then
- 35:42Speaker 3: that's that's an important lesson that we had to learn.
- 35:45Speaker 5: Actually, yeah, we learned it in real time.
- 35:48Speaker 4: Yeah yeah.
- 35:48Speaker 5: So social media obviously play plays a major part. But
- 35:51Speaker 5: people in small businesses they have social media pages, but
- 35:55Speaker 5: they also have landed pages and websites. Can you talk
- 35:57Speaker 5: about the importance of having or give us some tips
- 36:01Speaker 5: on having a landed page or a one page website
- 36:05Speaker 5: where it's going to get the most effective traction for
- 36:08Speaker 5: our business.
- 36:09Speaker 6: Yep. So you only have three to seven seconds when
- 36:12Speaker 6: people land onto your funnel page or to your landing
- 36:14Speaker 6: page for them to make a decision if they're going
- 36:16Speaker 6: to stay. And so the very top of your page
- 36:19Speaker 6: is the most important part. The very top screen is
- 36:21Speaker 6: the most important part. To be very visual and have
- 36:25Speaker 6: four to nine words that explain what they're looking at.
- 36:28Speaker 6: Then they will make a decision if they're going to
- 36:30Speaker 6: keep scrolling. There's actual ways you can see how far
- 36:33Speaker 6: they looked, how long they spend time within your website.
- 36:36Speaker 6: They can show you it's called a heat map. They
- 36:38Speaker 6: can show you the heat map of where they went,
- 36:39Speaker 6: how long they stayed, et cetera. For the most part,
- 36:42Speaker 6: all of the decision happens in that very top of
- 36:44Speaker 6: it and in that top page. You should also have
- 36:47Speaker 6: your buy now or your RSVP or your emails sign
- 36:50Speaker 6: up should be in the bottom of that top side.
- 36:52Speaker 6: If you look visually, and let's say on your phone
- 36:54Speaker 6: or a laptop, the bottom of that top of the screen,
- 36:57Speaker 6: that bottom frame should have your buy now or claim this,
- 37:01Speaker 6: or sign up or give your email there. They call
- 37:03Speaker 6: to action should be there on the top screen because
- 37:05Speaker 6: you don't know if they're going to scroll down, but
- 37:07Speaker 6: if they see it, they can take an action if
- 37:09Speaker 6: they want to. Now. Next thing, do not have a
- 37:12Speaker 6: website with nineteen different pages. I promise you they're not
- 37:15Speaker 6: going down that rabbit hole with you. That's not what
- 37:17Speaker 6: they're there for when you're trying to sell the products,
- 37:20Speaker 6: unless you're trying to build some long term brand. And
- 37:23Speaker 6: even then people do not want to go down nineteen
- 37:26Speaker 6: different pages. You want to make it as easy as possible,
- 37:29Speaker 6: dummy proof it so when they get to your page,
- 37:31Speaker 6: if you're selling fashion or protein or CBD or real
- 37:35Speaker 6: estate or credit or whatever you're doing, top of the page,
- 37:37Speaker 6: explain what you're doing. The middle part it should definitely
- 37:40Speaker 6: be able to take an action. They're telling your story.
- 37:42Speaker 6: By the time they get to the lower third, like
- 37:44Speaker 6: two or three pages down on your one main page.
- 37:48Speaker 6: You have to be they should know, they should be
- 37:50Speaker 6: able to explain your business to other people. They should
- 37:52Speaker 6: be able to brag about.
- 37:53Speaker 3: You, Dan, as we can go on all day about this,
- 38:00Speaker 3: but you know that you you know, we respect your
- 38:03Speaker 3: time and we have a couple of other people to
- 38:05Speaker 3: bring on.
- 38:05Speaker 4: But before before we.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Let you go, I wanted to thank you for actually
- 38:09Speaker 3: adding your course to the Eyo University platform. So that's
- 38:13Speaker 3: that's part of the remodeling that we're doing. We've added
- 38:15Speaker 3: I believe nineteen different courses and Dan's course is one
- 38:19Speaker 3: of the courses that have been added to the platform.
- 38:21Speaker 3: So if you're on the Eyo University platform, then you
- 38:24Speaker 3: have access to the course.
- 38:25Speaker 5: So we should put some gems in the chat from
- 38:27Speaker 5: our earners right now.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Yeah, appreciate appreciate that. You appreciate that for sure. Thank you.
- 38:34Speaker 4: Any last words you want to leave the people with.
- 38:37Speaker 6: Just get started. So many people are scared and nervous
- 38:40Speaker 6: about getting started. If you just start, make your website,
- 38:44Speaker 6: make your social media, get your name, get your bank account,
- 38:46Speaker 6: just getting all the things getting set up, you'll feel
- 38:48Speaker 6: like a business and it's kind of like if by
- 38:50Speaker 6: three in the pool you start swimming, You're gonna feel
- 38:52Speaker 6: more way more comfortable once you start swimming.
- 38:56Speaker 4: Appreciate it. Appreciate it.
- 38:57Speaker 5: Let's start.
- 38:58Speaker 7: Then.
- 38:59Speaker 3: It was great connecting with you. I've heard a lot
- 39:01Speaker 3: about you. This is the first time I've actually been
- 39:03Speaker 3: able to connect. Hopefully we can connect again. Thank you
- 39:06Speaker 3: for coming, and once again, thank you for adding your
- 39:08Speaker 3: course to the platform.
- 39:09Speaker 4: Really appreciate it.
- 39:10Speaker 5: Happy holidays to you and the family.
- 39:12Speaker 6: You got it anytime, guys, Thank you, all.
- 39:15Speaker 4: Right, take care, all right.
- 39:17Speaker 3: I told you we're gonna have an action packed program
- 39:20Speaker 3: today the night before Thanksgiving. Who does this? Who does
- 39:24Speaker 3: this on Thanksgiving Eve? After traveling twelve and a half
- 39:29Speaker 3: hours from Abu Dhabi to New York and running around
- 39:34Speaker 3: New York City as soon as they get back.
- 39:37Speaker 4: It's pretty crazy.
- 39:39Speaker 5: Somebody's gotta do it.
- 39:41Speaker 4: Oh, somebody definitely has to do it. That is a fact.
- 39:45Speaker 4: I believe Dan is frozen. It looks like let's se we.
- 39:51Speaker 5: Yes, oh, we're joined by another gentleman on.
- 40:02Speaker 8: You're feeling the night.
- 40:04Speaker 5: Everything's good man.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Good good man?
- 40:07Speaker 3: Okay, Yes, Dan has exited. Chat Herry, what's going on Man,
- 40:11Speaker 3: how are you.
- 40:12Speaker 7: I'm feeling good, fellas Man. Thank you for having me
- 40:14Speaker 7: and I truly appreciate it.
- 40:16Speaker 5: We appreciate you taking time out. I know there was
- 40:19Speaker 5: plenty of preparation for tomorrow. I'm sure you're part of it,
- 40:23Speaker 5: but you blessed, blessed people with loads of information. So
- 40:26Speaker 5: we really appreciate that.
- 40:28Speaker 8: Thank you, Thank you so much.
- 40:30Speaker 4: The Haitian CEO. Yes, yes, yes, it's very important.
- 40:40Speaker 5: Bald head and beards. You did, you did so.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Irman is a master when it comes to credit, business credit,
- 40:50Speaker 3: and this is something that's extremely important. Once again, I
- 40:53Speaker 3: feel like we can never have this conversation enough. I
- 40:55Speaker 3: put a post up today and it just went crazy,
- 40:57Speaker 3: and it just shows you how hungry people are for
- 41:00Speaker 3: with the information. And it's extremely important. So we're going
- 41:03Speaker 3: to do a deep dive into the world of credit.
- 41:06Speaker 3: But before we start, wanting to just talk about the
- 41:09Speaker 3: Eyo University situation again. So, you know, meeting with Robert
- 41:14Speaker 3: Smith when we met with him a while back, and
- 41:17Speaker 3: he was telling us, right, you know who Robert Smith is.
- 41:19Speaker 3: He's the richest black person in America. So he was
- 41:24Speaker 3: saying how he got his start and finances was through
- 41:28Speaker 3: mergers and acquisition, and he was telling us the whole
- 41:33Speaker 3: play behind the mergers and acquisition and that you know,
- 41:36Speaker 3: that's the real game that they play on the highest
- 41:39Speaker 3: level of finance, and that's really what he was doing
- 41:44Speaker 3: as an investment banker, was broke away those deals for
- 41:46Speaker 3: mergers and acquisitions. So you know, you got to listen
- 41:50Speaker 3: to when people speak and you have to be able
- 41:52Speaker 3: to apply the information in real time and process it
- 41:55Speaker 3: very quickly, so you know, earn your Lisia. We've obviously
- 42:00Speaker 3: built a tremendous media platform and there's other people in
- 42:03Speaker 3: the space that we respect, and recession Proof is an
- 42:08Speaker 3: educational platform that has become extremely impressive platform. They've done
- 42:12Speaker 3: a lot of great events, They've built then extremely strong community.
- 42:16Speaker 3: They've done live events for their members only only for
- 42:19Speaker 3: their members, and we've seen it firsthand and it actually
- 42:23Speaker 3: was a major inspiration for investments. So, you know, seeing
- 42:28Speaker 3: and just being really impressed with the infrastructure what they've
- 42:32Speaker 3: been able to accomplish, not an acquisition, but a merger,
- 42:38Speaker 3: a merger of eyl University and Recession Proof, so it's
- 42:45Speaker 3: early a Lesion University powered by Recession Proof. Yeah, basically. So,
- 42:55Speaker 3: so you know, I feel like that's an important step
- 42:58Speaker 3: forward for the culture.
- 43:04Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 43:04Speaker 3: So, you know, you got to be able to work together.
- 43:06Speaker 3: You've got to be able to put egos aside. You
- 43:09Speaker 3: have to be able to sit at the same table
- 43:14Speaker 3: and understand that you know, yeah, you have more power
- 43:19Speaker 3: in collaboration as opposed to competition. And this is something
- 43:23Speaker 3: that you know, I don't think a lot of people
- 43:25Speaker 3: really expected, but I think it's going to be something else,
- 43:29Speaker 3: a game changer.
- 43:30Speaker 5: I think. I mean just from a standpoint of inspiring
- 43:34Speaker 5: each other, pushing each other and wanted to see the
- 43:37Speaker 5: best for each other. I think we've done that over
- 43:38Speaker 5: the past two years. Like you said, when we went
- 43:41Speaker 5: to the Recession Proof conference in Miami and looked at
- 43:44Speaker 5: what was put together, we knew that, you know what,
- 43:47Speaker 5: this is something that we can do at a large scale.
- 43:51Speaker 5: So to be merging with such such a prestigious and
- 43:55Speaker 5: illustrious community like RPX, it is something that is the
- 44:00Speaker 5: the community. You know, it's going to serve them wholeheartedly,
- 44:04Speaker 5: and I'm excited for it. Man. The way that they've structured,
- 44:07Speaker 5: you know, their community and all the things that they have,
- 44:09Speaker 5: it was like this is something that can add value
- 44:12Speaker 5: to our community. And likewise, you know this is going
- 44:15Speaker 5: to be pieces that you know, our earners are going
- 44:17Speaker 5: to be added over there. So it's a it's a
- 44:19Speaker 5: game changer for the for the financial literacy community overall.
- 44:24Speaker 5: So I'm excited. So shout out to everybody, marp X,
- 44:26Speaker 5: shouts to our earners. Yeah, the biggest just got bigger.
- 44:30Speaker 4: More, more, more value.
- 44:31Speaker 3: And like I said, it's now you're going to have
- 44:33Speaker 3: EYO University is going to have the best parts of
- 44:36Speaker 3: Recession Proof. From Resession Proof, We're gonna have the best
- 44:38Speaker 3: parts of Yo University. So you know, they have those
- 44:41Speaker 3: chapters in place. This is where the chapters come from.
- 44:43Speaker 3: This is where the courses come from, as far as
- 44:46Speaker 3: you know, like Dan's course and a bunch of other
- 44:48Speaker 3: courses that's actually going to be in some announced you
- 44:51Speaker 3: don't have to go and buy courses from all of
- 44:53Speaker 3: these other different outlets. Where in one community you have
- 44:56Speaker 3: all the courses in under one roof. That's revolution within itself,
- 45:01Speaker 3: and that's something that is like, you know, you gotta
- 45:02Speaker 3: kind of bring all of the it's like mob Boss,
- 45:07Speaker 3: like you bring all of the families together, like you
- 45:09Speaker 3: know what I mean. So it's like that's a revolutionary
- 45:11Speaker 3: thing to have all of the courses under one umbrella.
- 45:13Speaker 3: I don't think that's ever really been done before. So
- 45:16Speaker 3: it's in the volume as low Joy.
- 45:21Speaker 4: Which one is it?
- 45:21Speaker 5: This one? A second? I don't think you go ahead?
- 45:24Speaker 3: So yeah, so Eve texts learn the word learn so
- 45:30Speaker 3: for zero one, two, three, eight, seven, four, seven nine,
- 45:35Speaker 3: and we'll be giving you updates on the relaunch of
- 45:38Speaker 3: e y l University uh launching on Friday right before
- 45:44Speaker 3: Madison Square Garden.
- 45:46Speaker 5: Good.
- 45:47Speaker 3: There's always something, there's always something. The never the never
- 45:51Speaker 3: finished strategy, it's never finished, it's always it's always under construction.
- 45:57Speaker 4: More a lot more so. All right, So let's get
- 46:00Speaker 4: into this.
- 46:01Speaker 3: Let's get into this business conversation. Extremely important. The differences
- 46:06Speaker 3: between business credit and corporate credit, corporate credit. I haven't
- 46:12Speaker 3: really talked about that too much. What's the difference between
- 46:13Speaker 3: business credit and corporate credit?
- 46:15Speaker 7: So the main difference between business credit and corporate credit
- 46:19Speaker 7: is that business credit, which a lot of people talk
- 46:22Speaker 7: about kind of familiar with, is that it's connected to
- 46:26Speaker 7: your Social Security number, it's connected to you having good credit,
- 46:30Speaker 7: so you're basically co signing for your business. So what
- 46:34Speaker 7: we like to teach our mentees, our friends, our clients,
- 46:37Speaker 7: and people who are listening to our earners is also,
- 46:40Speaker 7: at the same time try to build up your business
- 46:43Speaker 7: so that it can get corporate credit. Corporate credit is
- 46:46Speaker 7: not connected to your social whatsoever. It's just utilizing your
- 46:50Speaker 7: EI in. So you got like Jeff Bazo, so we're
- 46:53Speaker 7: Steve Jobs Reside Steve Jobs. When they were building up
- 46:56Speaker 7: their companies, they were also building up their EI in
- 46:59Speaker 7: so they didn't have to personally guarantee anything for their business.
- 47:03Speaker 7: So that's super important to make sure that you're not
- 47:05Speaker 7: just building up your business credit, which is a great
- 47:08Speaker 7: starting capital that you need you get that quit twenty
- 47:11Speaker 7: five thirty fifty thousand for your business, but at the
- 47:13Speaker 7: same time also building up your corporate credit so you
- 47:16Speaker 7: can build up your business like in a year or two. Right,
- 47:20Speaker 7: So you're not personally guaranteeing anything. You're getting money and
- 47:22Speaker 7: you're not giving the banks your Social Security number to
- 47:25Speaker 7: get business credit cards and loans, et cetera.
- 47:27Speaker 5: Like that.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Okay, everybody hit the like button. This is extremely important
- 47:33Speaker 3: to almost two thousand people on YouTube.
- 47:35Speaker 4: Thousand that's pretty impressive. You've hitting the like button and
- 47:40Speaker 4: share please.
- 47:41Speaker 5: Yeah. One of the things we've done is we set
- 47:44Speaker 5: up multiple LLCs. So I want you to dive into that,
- 47:47Speaker 5: sending up multiple LLCs so that you can get six
- 47:50Speaker 5: figure funding.
- 47:51Speaker 8: Oh yeah, So if you if you understand that hack.
- 47:55Speaker 7: If I know one LLC can get me ten, fifteen,
- 47:58Speaker 7: twenty five thousand, right, then why wouldn't I do that
- 48:02Speaker 7: with multiple LLCs?
- 48:03Speaker 8: Right?
- 48:04Speaker 7: So me, I love coming up with LLCs, even though
- 48:08Speaker 7: whether I'm not going to use them or not. Like
- 48:09Speaker 7: I come up with the idea of success as a
- 48:11Speaker 7: receipts it's one of my brands, right or Audit your
- 48:13Speaker 7: Circle another one of my brands.
- 48:14Speaker 8: Right, But I also turned it into an LLC.
- 48:17Speaker 7: Right, So I know one LLC I can get twenty
- 48:20Speaker 7: five thirty forty thousand dollars. Then the other LLC I
- 48:23Speaker 7: know I can duplicate that exact same process. So there's
- 48:26Speaker 7: a lot of people sitting with three, four or five LLCs.
- 48:28Speaker 7: They haven't done anything with them. There's a hearn, how
- 48:31Speaker 7: am I going to get funding for my business? Didn't
- 48:33Speaker 7: make any money? That's not important right now. If you
- 48:35Speaker 7: got the good credit, you can personally guarantee though all
- 48:38Speaker 7: those LLC's and get funded from them. And then you'll
- 48:42Speaker 7: look up and you got six figures in funding to
- 48:44Speaker 7: do startup capital for whether we're trying to business, you're
- 48:46Speaker 7: trying to do.
- 48:47Speaker 5: So the keys that have good personal credits, so you
- 48:50Speaker 5: can be a guarantee for those LZ's.
- 48:52Speaker 8: That's the key when you are building business credit.
- 48:55Speaker 7: But again, like we said a couple of minutes ago,
- 48:57Speaker 7: at the same time, you want to build a corporate
- 48:58Speaker 7: credit for those businesses off So but I know a
- 49:01Speaker 7: lot of.
- 49:01Speaker 8: Us we just want to get to it.
- 49:03Speaker 7: So you got the good credit, you got over six
- 49:05Speaker 7: eighty and above, go get to it. Go get that money,
- 49:08Speaker 7: Go get that go get that bag first.
- 49:11Speaker 3: What's the ten commandments when it comes to business credit?
- 49:17Speaker 8: The ten commandments to getting your business funded.
- 49:21Speaker 7: Number one, I want you all to write this down right,
- 49:23Speaker 7: because this is how you maximize to ensure how much
- 49:27Speaker 7: funding you can get for your business.
- 49:29Speaker 8: Right.
- 49:29Speaker 7: So, if you know Truest Bank or Key Bank, you
- 49:32Speaker 7: know that they're gonna give you twenty.
- 49:33Speaker 8: Five thousand dollars no dock. You know that right.
- 49:36Speaker 7: Whenever you are missing certain things from this ten commandments,
- 49:40Speaker 7: and knocks it down a couple of thousands. So number one,
- 49:42Speaker 7: you want to make sure you have a proper, proper
- 49:44Speaker 7: business name. The name of my company is Bellisloan Enterprises. Right,
- 49:48Speaker 7: it's a general name. There's a lot of high risk
- 49:51Speaker 7: industries out there, right, so real estate, trucking. So if
- 49:54Speaker 7: that's singing your business name, it's gonna limit how much
- 49:56Speaker 7: funding you're gonna get, or they probably.
- 49:58Speaker 8: Deny you the money.
- 49:59Speaker 7: So ll Us one enterprise will get twenty five thousand,
- 50:01Speaker 7: but bella Sloan real estate company that same profile, it's
- 50:07Speaker 7: probably gonna get ten thousand. So having the proper business
- 50:09Speaker 7: name is important. Number two, you want to make sure
- 50:11Speaker 7: you have a great business address. Right, brick and mortar,
- 50:15Speaker 7: of course, but if not, get yourself a virtual address,
- 50:18Speaker 7: because if you're going to the bank trying to maximize
- 50:20Speaker 7: how much money you get, you want to make.
- 50:22Speaker 8: Sure you look like a real business.
- 50:23Speaker 7: Try to not look like a mom and pop where
- 50:26Speaker 7: you're giving them your home address as your business address.
- 50:29Speaker 7: You want to walk into Chase, You want to walk
- 50:31Speaker 7: into Wells Fargo like a real outstanding business. That's commandment
- 50:34Speaker 7: number two. Commandment number three, you want to have a
- 50:36Speaker 7: legitimate email address info at bellostone Enterprises dot com, not
- 50:41Speaker 7: Bellostone Enterprises at Gmail, those little things these banks are
- 50:44Speaker 7: looking at. Commandment number four, want to make sure you
- 50:48Speaker 7: have a real business website. So I told a couple
- 50:51Speaker 7: of my mentees this. When everybody was getting the SBAEI
- 50:55Speaker 7: d L money, right, if they didn't have a proper email,
- 50:58Speaker 7: it literally got kick to a real underwriter, right, So
- 51:02Speaker 7: the real underwriter was looking to see if he was
- 51:03Speaker 7: a little legitimate business. Because you're giving an app Gmail
- 51:06Speaker 7: and you're trying to get one hundred fifty thousand, it
- 51:08Speaker 7: didn't make sense. So Commanding number four, having a good
- 51:11Speaker 7: business email. Commanding number five, you want to make sure
- 51:13Speaker 7: you have a business website, a real presence online so
- 51:18Speaker 7: that the banks know you're legit, like I'm not giving
- 51:20Speaker 7: you twenty five thirty fifty thousand dollars and you're not
- 51:22Speaker 7: going anywhere. And then once you have all this demographic information,
- 51:26Speaker 7: next commandment, that's what you put on your LLC. Because
- 51:30Speaker 7: before when I started talking about business funding, everybody ran
- 51:33Speaker 7: and got an LLC, but they putting their cell phone number,
- 51:36Speaker 7: their home address on it. Now you want to set
- 51:38Speaker 7: up your business demographics first, then you put that on
- 51:41Speaker 7: a business application your LLC, excuse me, then you get
- 51:45Speaker 7: your EI in and then once your business is structured,
- 51:48Speaker 7: I want you open up a business checking account and
- 51:51Speaker 7: a business savings account. Now I want to stay on
- 51:53Speaker 7: this real quick. Commandment number seven. I want to stay
- 51:55Speaker 7: on this real quick because how you open up your
- 51:58Speaker 7: business checking account and saving account is important. The more
- 52:02Speaker 7: products that you have with a bank, the better the
- 52:06Speaker 7: relationship with the bank, the more likely they are to
- 52:08Speaker 7: get you funded.
- 52:09Speaker 4: Right.
- 52:09Speaker 7: So, if I'm walking into a bank and I'm like, hey,
- 52:12Speaker 7: can I get a twenty five thousand dollars credit card?
- 52:13Speaker 8: I gotta get great credit.
- 52:15Speaker 7: That's wonderful, right, But isn't it better if I'm ope,
- 52:18Speaker 7: If I go to the bank, I get my LLC,
- 52:20Speaker 7: my EI in documentation, I give them my operating agreement.
- 52:23Speaker 7: I'm like, hey, can I open up a checking account?
- 52:25Speaker 7: Can I open up a savings account with you? So,
- 52:28Speaker 7: now just open up two products with them. I put
- 52:30Speaker 7: fifty dollars in each account, write nothing crazy, and then
- 52:33Speaker 7: I ask them for funding. So building relationships with bank
- 52:37Speaker 7: is crucial one of those unknown steps to help you
- 52:41Speaker 7: get more funding from that same bank Commandment number nine.
- 52:46Speaker 7: Having different relationships with different tiers of banks. I always
- 52:51Speaker 7: tell everyone to please start first with getting funding and
- 52:55Speaker 7: relationships with credit unions in your area first. So I
- 52:58Speaker 7: tell them, listen, go to Google Maps, type in the
- 53:01Speaker 7: word credit union and putting your zip code. You'll see
- 53:04Speaker 7: ten fifteen credit unions in your zip code alone that
- 53:08Speaker 7: you can go and start a business relationship with right
- 53:11Speaker 7: and then find out give them a call, Hey, Truemark,
- 53:15Speaker 7: where do you pull from? We pull from Ecofax. Another bank,
- 53:18Speaker 7: where do you pull from? We pull from TransUnion. Another
- 53:20Speaker 7: one where you pull from we pull from experience. So
- 53:22Speaker 7: now you're getting three relationships. You know they're pulling from
- 53:26Speaker 7: different credit bureaus. So when you go to the second bank,
- 53:28Speaker 7: they didn't know you just got twenty five thousand from
- 53:30Speaker 7: the first bank. So just like that, if each of
- 53:32Speaker 7: them give you ten thousand on a bad Saturday, you
- 53:34Speaker 7: just raise yourself thirty thousand dollars right from three different banks.
- 53:38Speaker 7: So credit unions left to give bigger bags out. So
- 53:41Speaker 7: I always tell people start with credit unions first, then
- 53:43Speaker 7: work your way up to the different tiers where you
- 53:46Speaker 7: work your way up to like citizens, where they're like
- 53:49Speaker 7: more regional or truest, the more regional, our nationwide, and
- 53:53Speaker 7: then you hit up the big boys. Then you go
- 53:54Speaker 7: to Wells Fargo, then you go to Chase, but start
- 53:56Speaker 7: in your community first. And then lastly, of course commandment
- 53:59Speaker 7: number time that's for that money, asks them for that funding,
- 54:02Speaker 7: and you should be in good position to maximize what
- 54:04Speaker 7: you can get from each bank.
- 54:06Speaker 5: It's ten business man, miss what you got to say
- 54:11Speaker 5: that at the end. So we're applying to the banks,
- 54:14Speaker 5: we're sending our applications. You got this thing called the
- 54:16Speaker 5: power for it? Can you break that down?
- 54:19Speaker 8: The power of the four?
- 54:19Speaker 7: All right, So there's a little there's a little a
- 54:22Speaker 7: bank information that they don't want you to know.
- 54:24Speaker 9: Right.
- 54:24Speaker 7: I love when people say down, So I'm gonna say
- 54:25Speaker 7: it to what they don't want you to know, So
- 54:28Speaker 7: save the power for it. Say, for instance, you have
- 54:33Speaker 7: two credit cards, right, they're ten thousand dollars each limit.
- 54:36Speaker 7: That's a credit availability that you got, but you make
- 54:40Speaker 7: thirty thousand dollars a year, right, So the bank is
- 54:44Speaker 7: going to look at that application. They were like, this
- 54:46Speaker 7: person is actually high risk? Why because tomorrow he could
- 54:51Speaker 7: max out the cars to twenty thousand dollars, right, But
- 54:55Speaker 7: he only makes thirty thousand dollars a year, right, So
- 54:58Speaker 7: the bank actually looks you as somebody that's actually risky.
- 55:02Speaker 7: So sometimes I tell my earners, my mentees, I tell them, hey,
- 55:07Speaker 7: if you got to you gotta somebody on your team,
- 55:10Speaker 7: a code sign or somebody else who doesn't look at
- 55:12Speaker 7: high risk.
- 55:13Speaker 8: So somebody who's less high risk is the power for.
- 55:16Speaker 7: So twenty thousand dollars multiplied by four is eighty thousand dollars.
- 55:20Speaker 8: So the bank is looking for somebody who.
- 55:22Speaker 7: Makes eighty thousand dollars a year, right, who has twenty
- 55:26Speaker 7: thousand available credit card.
- 55:27Speaker 8: That person is low risk to the bank.
- 55:30Speaker 7: So that's why I say the power of for is
- 55:32Speaker 7: what the banks look at when assessing somebody's credit profile
- 55:35Speaker 7: to see how much funding they can give them.
- 55:37Speaker 3: On the business side, so talk about credit union funding.
- 55:44Speaker 7: Credit union funding kind of talked about it a little
- 55:46Speaker 7: bit earlier. It's the best place to start, it's the
- 55:48Speaker 7: best place to go when you are trying to get funding.
- 55:52Speaker 7: For everybody that's on a call, I know, we all
- 55:55Speaker 7: go into the name brands first. We're gonna go to Chase,
- 55:57Speaker 7: We're gonna go to Wells Fargo, and they're great institutions.
- 55:59Speaker 7: But I want everybody to start in your community first,
- 56:02Speaker 7: because the credit unions are ready to invest.
- 56:04Speaker 8: In the people that are in their community first. Right.
- 56:06Speaker 8: I even have I.
- 56:08Speaker 7: Even have a strategy where a lot of my mentees
- 56:10Speaker 7: where they're like, listen, well, there's a great bank in Virginia. Right,
- 56:14Speaker 7: Virginia got a great bank, but my LLC is not
- 56:17Speaker 7: in Virginia's in Pennsylvania. We'll get a foreign entity, right,
- 56:20Speaker 7: so you can do business in the state of Virginia,
- 56:24Speaker 7: and then you hit up that credit union because you
- 56:26Speaker 7: know they give away thirty thousand dollars real quick if
- 56:28Speaker 7: you got a six to ninety credit score. So getting
- 56:31Speaker 7: a foreign entity is how you literally multiply or mimic
- 56:34Speaker 7: your LLC in all fifty states, so you can get
- 56:38Speaker 7: the capitol in different places. So I travel a lot.
- 56:40Speaker 7: I'm in Atlanta, I'm in Miami, I'm in Cali. So
- 56:42Speaker 7: I make sure I got foreign entities in those different
- 56:44Speaker 7: states because if I happen to be out there and
- 56:46Speaker 7: my man's give me a good play, Like yo, there's
- 56:47Speaker 7: credit Union, bro, They're giving fifty thousand dollars line of credit.
- 56:49Speaker 7: You got a seven hundred credit score, then I want
- 56:51Speaker 7: to make sure I'm in position to go there because
- 56:53Speaker 7: I know credit unions are going to give me a
- 56:55Speaker 7: bigger bag than regional or national banks.
- 57:00Speaker 5: What are the three things as entrepreneurs that we can
- 57:02Speaker 5: do to get the most funded? Right? A lot of
- 57:04Speaker 5: times when we try to start a business, fund is
- 57:06Speaker 5: obviously always the issue. What are three things that we
- 57:08Speaker 5: can do to make sure we get the most.
- 57:11Speaker 7: To make sure you get the most fund and to
- 57:13Speaker 7: put yourself in position to get the bigger bag. Number one,
- 57:15Speaker 7: make sure your inquiries are low on your credit report.
- 57:20Speaker 7: So if I told you true Marcus pulling from TransUnion,
- 57:23Speaker 7: make sure you have under three inquiries from that credit bureau,
- 57:28Speaker 7: or make sure you don't have any recent inquiries in
- 57:30Speaker 7: the last six months. So keep your inquiries though. That's
- 57:33Speaker 7: going to maximize your funding. Number two, I know it
- 57:35Speaker 7: sounds sexy that yo, I'm the owner of Bellislan Enterprises.
- 57:39Speaker 7: It sounds great, right, owners don't make money. You know
- 57:42Speaker 7: who make money? Who get consistent bread w two employees.
- 57:46Speaker 7: So when I open up a bank account, I tell
- 57:48Speaker 7: them I am the president, I'm the CEO, I'm the
- 57:51Speaker 7: cio right, because they know I'm getting paid every week,
- 57:55Speaker 7: so they know I'm gonna pay this check every week.
- 57:57Speaker 7: They know I got a certain salary, so I'm gonna
- 57:59Speaker 7: make sure I get I get money every week. And
- 58:01Speaker 7: number three, follow the ten Commandments. Rewind the tape. It's
- 58:04Speaker 7: gonna be on YouTube. Follow the ten Commandments. Position your
- 58:07Speaker 7: business in proper place to maximize your funding. Those are
- 58:11Speaker 7: three tips I got for you guys to make sure
- 58:13Speaker 7: you get the maximum funding when you walk into these banks.
- 58:17Speaker 3: So let's let's let's answer some questions if we can absolutely.
- 58:21Speaker 3: This is another part of the hand Already platform is
- 58:25Speaker 3: that it's an interactive experience, so we get to actually
- 58:27Speaker 3: not just hear us talk, but answer questions in real time.
- 58:30Speaker 3: And that's beneficial because a lot of people in the
- 58:32Speaker 3: audience have the same question.
- 58:33Speaker 5: So let's do this. Man, George, we are coming to you.
- 58:37Speaker 5: Mute yourself. You've been muted, George. What's up? What's going on?
- 58:47Speaker 5: Oh man, you're not at work. So if you don't
- 58:48Speaker 5: know how this works, there are no frizz breaks when
- 58:51Speaker 5: we come to you, you better be ready to roll
- 58:52Speaker 5: the people. Wow, there's a bunch of people coming on
- 58:55Speaker 5: all right, let's go to.
- 58:58Speaker 4: The new people at the bout Let's go.
- 59:01Speaker 5: To aris as. We're coming to you. I mute yourself.
- 59:03Speaker 5: You've been unmuted with the deal. Oh oh wait, there
- 59:12Speaker 5: you go, George. You there, he's not there.
- 59:19Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm mute yet.
- 59:22Speaker 5: Can you hear me you? Oh?
- 59:25Speaker 10: I'm doing fine yourself. I wanted to ask herman, Uh,
- 59:30Speaker 10: you said that the Yahoo and the Gmail is not
- 59:33Speaker 10: a good email for business funding.
- 59:37Speaker 7: Absolutely not. So I want everyone to start thinking like
- 59:41Speaker 7: how the banks do.
- 59:42Speaker 5: Right.
- 59:42Speaker 7: So Belloslan Enterprises is an entity that doesn't speak right,
- 59:47Speaker 7: I speak for Bellaslan Enterprises, right. So I got to
- 59:50Speaker 7: make sure this looks legitimate because when you go into Chase,
- 59:55Speaker 7: you're literally speaking to somebody. If it's miss Phillips, miss
- 59:58Speaker 7: Phillips has an email address, Miss Phillips, emai is Phillips
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: at Chase dot com. So I want to make sure my.
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: Business and your business looks.
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: Totally legitimate, and having at domain of your business looks
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: sexier than YadA YadA YadA at Gmail.
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: So bellis what looks Can you tell me what looks better?
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: Bellus On Enterprises at Gmail or info at bellus On
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: Enterprises dot com. So it's about setting yourself to look
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: at sexy to these banks so you can maximize your funding.
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: Now I'm not saying it's a deal breaker. I'm not
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: saying no one's gotten funded with a Gmail account, but
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: I'm trying to maximize how much you can get funding.
- 1:00:35Speaker 10: So I have everything already in place. But the Gmail
- 1:00:39Speaker 10: is what it is, my business name at but it
- 1:00:42Speaker 10: does says I think it's a Yahoo or something because
- 1:00:46Speaker 10: Gmail was giving me a little bit of trouble.
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: Right, So what I recommend, what I recommend you do
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: is actually I'm going to send you back to Google.
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: So Google has an enterprise platform because they gotten into
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: the enterprise platform space where you can go to G suite, s.
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: U I t e.
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: G Suite or yes that yeah, so where you can
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: get a real business email address and it's only six
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: dollars a month.
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: It's super cheap.
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: You can start it tonight and you have your your
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: real email address, are all.
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: Ready to go.
- 1:01:15Speaker 10: But when I when I filed for my LLC, I
- 1:01:18Speaker 10: put the other email on.
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: Listen, let me explain this to you. Right, your LLC
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: is considered a person. It's an entity, right, just like
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: you're considered a person. Guess what you can change. I
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: can change my name from if I want to. I
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: can change my address, I can change my phone number,
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: and I can change my email too.
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: All you have to do is contact the.
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: Secretary of State and update whatever information you need to update.
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: Google is not called Google anymore. They're called Alphabet. They
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: change their name. But all they have to do is
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: let the Secretary of State know. Hey, we're not called
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: Google anymore, We're called Alphabet. We move to this address,
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: we have this new email address. Here's our new information,
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: and your LLC will be updated with that information with
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: the Secretary of State.
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: So you're straight, it's not complex.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Oh, thank youpreciate your help.
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: Absolutely, Thank you so much for joining us tonight.
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: Thank you have a good happy holidays. Do you and
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: a fat.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: Tanya were coming to you? Tanya Simpson, what's going on?
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: I mute yourself? You've been unmuted? How you doing uh today?
- 1:02:16Speaker 11: How you doing?
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: No problem?
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: This is definitely some diamond information.
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: So I kind of want.
- 1:02:22Speaker 12: To ask the same question or some of the questions.
- 1:02:26Speaker 12: My website is a dot us.
- 1:02:27Speaker 13: Do that have a bad impact on my business?
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: Because it's at us and not of dot com.
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: No, no, no, that's that's totally jitlemen.
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: As long as it's your business domain name dot us,
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: dot net, dot com, dot org, as long as it's
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: professional in that case, you're going to be.
- 1:02:43Speaker 8: In good shape.
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: Yes, okay, thank.
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: You, no worry, Thank you for Simpsons, Thank you to
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: you having happy holidays for you and the ah, let's
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: go down here, can't we're coming to you. Can't. I'm
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: mute yourself, you've been unmuted. What's going on.
- 1:03:00Speaker 12: Going on?
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: Man, mister Hammond? How you feeling tonight?
- 1:03:04Speaker 9: Good?
- 1:03:04Speaker 11: Bro?
- 1:03:05Speaker 12: I just wanted to know I've been hearing about the
- 1:03:08Speaker 12: shelf corporations. I don't know if they really work the
- 1:03:11Speaker 12: max because you know, you got to have a four
- 1:03:12Speaker 12: years to get funded, right, So I wanted to know,
- 1:03:16Speaker 12: do we really need to have to do the Jeff
- 1:03:19Speaker 12: corporation work for that matter?
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: That makes so Here's why shelf corporations even exist. Shelf
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: corporations exist because ninety percent of banks, before they you
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: can you are offered lines of credit. Right, your business
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: has to be two years or older. If it's not
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: two years of older, you're most likely going to be
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: eligible for a business credit card. Which is a great start.
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: So shelf Course where existed because it's like, hey, if
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: I want to jump to the line and I want
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: to get lines of credit in addition to credit cards,
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: let me purchase the shelf courp.
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: There's nothing wrong with the shelf courp.
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: We recommend you get them if you have good credit,
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: because then you could combine it with your good personal
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: credit and then you can get.
- 1:03:59Speaker 8: Credit cards and lines of credit.
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: I want to be careful with people getting scammed out
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: there when people say, oh, you get this five year
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: old shelf Corp. It guarantees you one hundred hundred and
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: twenty five thousand dollars two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
- 1:04:10Speaker 8: No, that's not the case.
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: If the shelf court isn't built up, if it doesn't
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: have trade lines on it already, that's definitely not the case.
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: So you definitely want to be careful with that. So
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: like Bellos on the LLC, right, my business. Right, it's
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: like the LLC is like seven years old. I can
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: sell it to you, right, mister Hammond, And because you
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: got a seven hundred plus credit score, you can go
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: out and you can get fifty to two hundred thousand
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: dollars because you got good credit combined with the shelf court.
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: But just be careful when people are saying, hey, buy
- 1:04:35Speaker 7: the shelf cop for ten thousand dollars and you'll guarantee
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: to get to fifty. That's definitely not the case. But
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: you definitely want to be careful with that. But it's
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: but the purpose of it is to get higher lines
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: of credit because the company is older.
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: Appreciate it, bro, no problem, great question, Thank you for that.
- 1:04:53Speaker 14: Appreciate what you gain. Let's go to let's see ty Wron.
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: We can come to you. Tyrone. You've been unmuted. Mute yourself.
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: What's going on? Brother?
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: I talked to us all.
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: Right real quick.
- 1:05:19Speaker 15: I got two questions. Thank y'all for First, thank y'all
- 1:05:21Speaker 15: always absolutely so. The questions is that's her one of
- 1:05:26Speaker 15: my clients today. We were doing some things that we
- 1:05:27Speaker 15: were talking about business funding, right, and we were looking
- 1:05:30Speaker 15: at her. We were trying to find her paydex score
- 1:05:32Speaker 15: and they couldn't pull up her experienced business Equifax business
- 1:05:35Speaker 15: and she was like, but I have a business credit card.
- 1:05:37Speaker 15: And I was like, oh, but you didn't do those
- 1:05:39Speaker 15: trade lines. I told you, you know, She was like, no,
- 1:05:41Speaker 15: I never did those. So do you have to do
- 1:05:44Speaker 15: the vendor tier one, two, three before you.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: Do the trade line for business funding or not?
- 1:05:49Speaker 15: That's the first question and the second question is real
- 1:05:51Speaker 15: quick afterwards.
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: But that's all right, So let's attack that first so
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: unpopular belief, right, ninety five percent of business credit cards
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: don't report anywhere right. On the personal side, you could
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: buy a stick of gum. It's gonna be on your
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: credit report in thirty days. American Express, Chase, Well Spargo,
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: they're not reporting anywhere right, so they're not building up
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: your business's.
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: Credit, your core.
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.

- 1:08:07Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump America's laws,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 1:09:05Speaker 8: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security or
- 1:09:07Speaker 8: credit whatsoever.
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: A couple of credit cards that do divvy DVD Y
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: capital on tap. Those are great corporate credit cards. They
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: don't care what your credit score is, right, anybody could
- 1:09:17Speaker 7: get them. If you have a business checking account three
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: months old, you got a couple of dollars going in there,
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: they'll see what they can do to get you some funded.
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: But they actually report to your business credit profile and
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: that helps build up your score.
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: Now, toy, you did give her.
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: Some great advice to start building her corporate credit right
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: by getting some Tier one vendors on her business credit profile,
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: and that's great. Once you built it up to tier four,
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: that's when you're able to go and get corporate credit,
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: no personal guaranteed, no matter what. Now, if you're trying
- 1:09:49Speaker 7: to get funded and she's a startup company, the tier
- 1:09:52Speaker 7: ones are not going to be enough for her to
- 1:09:55Speaker 7: just get corporate credit in general. So you can suggest
- 1:09:58Speaker 7: to her divvy work a credit card capital on tap.
- 1:10:02Speaker 7: But in the meantime, she'll definitely need to get her
- 1:10:05Speaker 7: credit up so she can PG it personally.
- 1:10:07Speaker 15: Okay, oh yeah, and we already worked on that and
- 1:10:09Speaker 15: did that. You know I'm tapping. I've been tapped in
- 1:10:11Speaker 15: with y'all, so you know, like we on that. So
- 1:10:14Speaker 15: thank you so much. And the second quick question is
- 1:10:16Speaker 15: this in terms of foreign entities and tax havens. If
- 1:10:20Speaker 15: I want to become or use my business as a
- 1:10:22Speaker 15: foreign entity in a state that's a tax saven, maybe
- 1:10:25Speaker 15: Delaware or somewhere like that, how does that work?
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: You know?
- 1:10:29Speaker 15: Do I just file and then I can just start
- 1:10:31Speaker 15: assuming business or doing business there and then I'm good
- 1:10:34Speaker 15: and I'm saving?
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: Or how does that work if you don't lie?
- 1:10:37Speaker 7: So I am not a tax professional, so I gotta
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: be careful how I answer these questions. Definitely tap into
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: your tax professional who would answer that better for you.
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: When I speak of foreign entities, I used to pick us.
- 1:10:48Speaker 7: I'm about to do business in a state like I'm in.
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: I'm in Atlanta all the time, right, So I got
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: a foreign entity down there, and I know they got
- 1:10:55Speaker 7: great lenders down there that I like to do business with.
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: And the credit unions first, they won't do business with
- 1:11:00Speaker 7: me because I'm based in PA. So I got the
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: foreign entity in the state of Georgia, so I'm allowed
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: to open up business checking accounts there and get the funding.
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: When it comes to the tax questions or tax side
- 1:11:10Speaker 7: of it. When it comes to Delaware, Wyoming, I'm almost
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: certain that there are benefits for running your business there,
- 1:11:16Speaker 7: but definitely tapping with your tax professional who can give
- 1:11:18Speaker 7: you the best advice on that.
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 1:11:21Speaker 6: Thanks again, Boss, I appreciate you.
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: I appreciate you.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: Tyron, Yes, sers Key, I mean more. We want to
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: do it before we bring MG on.
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: The hands keep going up, going on. Let's let's take uh,
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: let's take like maybe you wanted to Sean Sean Barley
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: were coming to you. Man, I'm mute yourself. You've been unmuted.
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: What's going on, Sean?
- 1:11:48Speaker 16: I'll do.
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: No fridge break showing no fridge break. We appreciate your
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: attendance without no fridge breaks. So we're gonna go to
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: Anthony Anthony Robinson. We're coming to you. You yourself, you've
- 1:12:00Speaker 5: been unmuted. What else fellas whatever?
- 1:12:04Speaker 8: Mister Robinson, how you feeling the night?
- 1:12:07Speaker 11: Being good? Being good?
- 1:12:08Speaker 7: Good?
- 1:12:10Speaker 11: So what about if you're blocked from uh getting bank
- 1:12:15Speaker 11: accounts on check systems and early one, how can I
- 1:12:23Speaker 11: go about getting around it?
- 1:12:24Speaker 7: So that's so it's hard to get around that. You
- 1:12:27Speaker 7: have to attack it. So you're going to have to first.
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: It's like it's almost like credit repair, right, it's basically
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: our credit pair. So you're going to have to attack
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: check systems, You're gonna have to write a letter to them.
- 1:12:40Speaker 8: You're going to have to actually write.
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: Letters to Lexus Nexus so you can get those check
- 1:12:47Speaker 7: systems from from keeping you from open up bank accounts.
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: So usually it's because you have a bounce check in
- 1:12:52Speaker 7: the past. So you have to remedy that situation. Whether hey,
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: you owld them three hundred dollars, hundred dollars, you go
- 1:12:56Speaker 7: to Chase hair Chase, here's your five hundred dollars, can
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: you please remove me from check system If they verify
- 1:13:02Speaker 7: that information, they usually send you a letter.
- 1:13:04Speaker 8: You send that over to Lexus and Nexus.
- 1:13:06Speaker 7: You send that over to the people that are blocking
- 1:13:08Speaker 7: you from check systems, and that's your remedy the situation.
- 1:13:11Speaker 7: I don't want to give you no quick cats to
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: do what I'm going to show you the right way
- 1:13:13Speaker 7: to do it, because if there's a if there's a
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: hat that somebody's giving you about that, then they might
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: work at one bank but not all.
- 1:13:20Speaker 8: So you want to make.
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: Sure you're tapping into Lexus Nexus first to get the
- 1:13:24Speaker 7: check systems removed. Write them the letters, you can even
- 1:13:27Speaker 7: get them on the phone, and then put yourself in
- 1:13:29Speaker 7: position so you're going to open up bank accounts right now?
- 1:13:32Speaker 11: Oh okay, cool, thank you, Thank you for the appreciation.
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: Absolutely, bro, whole lot of game, A whole lot of game.
- 1:13:41Speaker 5: I'm trying, Bro, I'm trying appreciate you. Anthony. Oh yeah,
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: for sure.
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: All right, you do one more?
- 1:13:55Speaker 8: I got one more, I got one more.
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: Let's do it. We're coming to you. Let's do this.
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: Leslie coming to you. I um mute yourself. You've been unmuted.
- 1:14:02Speaker 5: How you doing, Leslie?
- 1:14:07Speaker 8: Come on, Leslie, you don't break our hearts.
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: You're there, Mike is as you're ready to go.
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: Oh damn, Leslie, Leslie. It don't mean we don't love you, don't.
- 1:14:19Speaker 5: It really doesn't. It really doesn't mean we don't love it.
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: We love you even more for actually raising your hand
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: and having encourage to answer this question.
- 1:14:26Speaker 17: But we'll get you on the next one. Uh, it's swelling.
- 1:14:35Speaker 17: See swelling can come through for swelling. Roberts, what's going on?
- 1:14:38Speaker 17: I mut yourself, you've been unmuted.
- 1:14:41Speaker 18: Yes, how's everybody doing?
- 1:14:42Speaker 8: Let's get it, mister Roberts. How you feeling doing well?
- 1:14:45Speaker 18: Very familiar with both platforms. I'm definitely following both of
- 1:14:49Speaker 18: you guys man, love the platform, love everything, just really quick.
- 1:14:53Speaker 18: I just had a question about I know you talked
- 1:14:57Speaker 18: a lot about funding and position and your your business.
- 1:15:00Speaker 18: I know somebody taught a class about is the next
- 1:15:03Speaker 18: level to get into to trust some things like that
- 1:15:08Speaker 18: after you've established everything.
- 1:15:12Speaker 7: So you know, with us, as we gain our people,
- 1:15:15Speaker 7: as we gain information, then we added to the repertoire.
- 1:15:20Speaker 7: Like I didn't know about trust when I first started
- 1:15:22Speaker 7: my LLC. I didn't know about trust when I was
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: building business credit. I didn't know about trust when I
- 1:15:27Speaker 7: was building corporate credit. But as you get the information, yes,
- 1:15:31Speaker 7: you can put it into your your folder. So I
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: gotta trust later in life. Under my trust is my
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: holding company. I set up my holding company, and then
- 1:15:40Speaker 7: my holding company it has a bunch of all my
- 1:15:44Speaker 7: different LLCs, Bellosona Enterprises, Olivia marun Ning Prizes, and all
- 1:15:47Speaker 7: the different businesses that I do. So it's not too
- 1:15:50Speaker 7: late to go back and structure it correctly, to protect yourself,
- 1:15:53Speaker 7: to protect your assets, and to protect your future generation
- 1:15:57Speaker 7: from what you have built here right now. Because I
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: tell people all the time that I'm planning seeds for
- 1:16:02Speaker 7: fruit I'll never see, so I want to make sure
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: that my children and my grandchildren have these assets that
- 1:16:09Speaker 7: have been protected because I set up a trust, a
- 1:16:11Speaker 7: holding company and the different businesses that are under them.
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: Perfect, Okay, gotcha.
- 1:16:16Speaker 8: Thank you so much, absolutely, Bro.
- 1:16:19Speaker 5: I appreciate you.
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: I it's been a pleasure.
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: I appreciate you, gentlemen, thank you.
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: Thank you, and I know that you'll be, you know,
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: a big part of your leisure university as well moving forward. Yes,
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: contributor and uh yeah, a great resource to the community.
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: So thank you.
- 1:16:38Speaker 7: In advanced I look, I look forward to being a
- 1:16:40Speaker 7: service and I look forward to seeing you guys in
- 1:16:42Speaker 7: New York at the WHO Center.
- 1:16:43Speaker 8: I'm looking forward to that this weekend. It's going to
- 1:16:45Speaker 8: be dope.
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: If you don't have your tickets to Magine Square Guard
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: and you playing yourself many, it's gonna be a vibe man.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: Jada Kiss, Floyd Money, Mayweather, Don Peebles, uh I and Dunlap, myself, Troy.
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: It's gonna be so many people there, man, it's gonna
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: be an amazing experience and it's extremely dope to do it.
- 1:17:08Speaker 8: Beautiful Manhattan. I look forward to it.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: It's gonna be it's gonna be a motion picture, motion

- 1:21:29Speaker 19: I'm too hired. I can't contain myself right now.
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: Oh Man, all right, we're gonna get into it.
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: Before we start, text the word learn to four zero
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: one two three eight seven four seven nine, or click
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: the link in the description of this video the NTI
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: information for updates on the release to the relaunch of
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: Eyo University, which will include the regional chapters, the course
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: nineteen courses, the live interactive classes. There's a whole vibe,
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: there's a whole situation. But Matt, we're gonna end it
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: with real estate. We talked about business branding, social media branding,
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: we talked about business credit. And we're gonna end this
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: with real estate, something that's extremely important and it's been
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: a hot topic.
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: All right, so let's start here. What is the forecast?
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: What is your forecast for twenty twenty three when it
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: comes to real estate, when it comes to interest rates,
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: when it comes to home affordability, all of this stuff.
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: All right, good question, Michad.
- 1:22:36Speaker 19: I would say, I'm forecasting from appreciation standpoint. I think
- 1:22:41Speaker 19: home values and I've said this before and I'm gonna
- 1:22:44Speaker 19: say it again, home values will continue to appreciate in
- 1:22:47Speaker 19: twenty twenty three. It will get back to modest appreciation,
- 1:22:51Speaker 19: normal appreciation, I should say. I think, depending on where
- 1:22:55Speaker 19: you are in the country, we should see home appreciation
- 1:22:59Speaker 19: anywhere from two to seven percent on average nationwide, just
- 1:23:04Speaker 19: depending on where you are. Now, I know a lot
- 1:23:06Speaker 19: of people see a lot of fear mongrain type of
- 1:23:08Speaker 19: headlines out there when you see home prices have declined
- 1:23:13Speaker 19: or home sales have declined in the past nine months.
- 1:23:17Speaker 19: I know you guys see price reductions, and I don't
- 1:23:22Speaker 19: you have to really read between the lines when you
- 1:23:24Speaker 19: when you're looking at all of that right. So right now,
- 1:23:28Speaker 19: year over year November of twenty twenty one compared to
- 1:23:31Speaker 19: November of this year, home prices have still appreciated seven
- 1:23:36Speaker 19: and a half percent annually. Now, you're not going to
- 1:23:39Speaker 19: see crazy twenty plus percent nationwide in almost every state
- 1:23:44Speaker 19: like you did in twenty twenty one. Twenty twenty and
- 1:23:47Speaker 19: twenty twenty one was just unicorn years. That's not normal, right.
- 1:23:52Speaker 19: Miami right now is not normal. Miami is up twenty
- 1:23:54Speaker 19: percent year over year. Still these that's not normal, right.
- 1:23:59Speaker 19: But if you look at appreciation over the past sixty
- 1:24:03Speaker 19: years in America, homes on average have appreciated four and
- 1:24:07Speaker 19: a half percent annually, and we're getting back down to
- 1:24:10Speaker 19: that normal rate of return on real estate, which is needed.
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:24:15Speaker 19: Affordability is going to be questioned still because of inflation.
- 1:24:20Speaker 19: Although inflation dropped a couple percentage points, not a couple
- 1:24:25Speaker 19: percentage points, but dropped a little, from like eight point
- 1:24:27Speaker 19: two to seven point seven on the last CPR report.
- 1:24:32Speaker 19: If that continues to go down, that's great news for
- 1:24:36Speaker 19: interest rates because interest rates tend to follow like the
- 1:24:39Speaker 19: inflation numbers, and also the Fed funds. If the Feds
- 1:24:44Speaker 19: kind of slowed down on their raises, then you'll see
- 1:24:47Speaker 19: interest rates start trickling back down. Now, when that CPR
- 1:24:51Speaker 19: data was released about two weeks ago, I believe it
- 1:24:54Speaker 19: was interest rates dropped from about seven and a quarter
- 1:24:58Speaker 19: to six and a half percent. Right now, next month
- 1:25:01Speaker 19: when this report comes out again, if if we start
- 1:25:04Speaker 19: still seeing those inflation numbers go down, you're gonna start
- 1:25:08Speaker 19: seeing mortgage rates kind of slowly but surely follow it.
- 1:25:12Speaker 19: So it's really on this inflation report that's really going
- 1:25:16Speaker 19: to determine where interest rates are going to go. I
- 1:25:19Speaker 19: told you in you know, a couple months ago that
- 1:25:21Speaker 19: I did foresee rates would be around seven percent by
- 1:25:25Speaker 19: the end of the year. The end of the year
- 1:25:27Speaker 19: is here where we a little bit under seven percent
- 1:25:30Speaker 19: right now, right, but still it's not a terrible rate.
- 1:25:35Speaker 19: It's higher than it was over the past two years,
- 1:25:38Speaker 19: but historically it's not a terrible rate. When I brought
- 1:25:41Speaker 19: my first property years ago, my rate was seven in
- 1:25:44Speaker 19: the quarter, right, So it's not a bad interest rate
- 1:25:48Speaker 19: per se, it's just higher. So where I see the
- 1:25:51Speaker 19: market going, I still continue to see it appreciate and
- 1:25:54Speaker 19: just at normal levels, I see that there's gonna be
- 1:25:58Speaker 19: less inventory or new homes hitting the market, because if
- 1:26:02Speaker 19: these rates stay higher, then why would home sellers want
- 1:26:06Speaker 19: to sell their home? Like I read something the other
- 1:26:08Speaker 19: day and it's said that eighty five percent of mortgages
- 1:26:13Speaker 19: in America have an interest rate below four percent. Right now,
- 1:26:17Speaker 19: there's over thirty trillion and equity still in homes, although
- 1:26:21Speaker 19: that's down right a.
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: Little bit, but it's still over thirty trillion.
- 1:26:26Speaker 19: So homeowners are sitting on a lot of leverage with
- 1:26:28Speaker 19: low interest rates and a lot of equity. So there's
- 1:26:31Speaker 19: really no reason for a seller if they do not
- 1:26:34Speaker 19: have to sell, why would they sell to put themselves
- 1:26:38Speaker 19: in a position to be at a higher rate at
- 1:26:41Speaker 19: a higher price. And if you go to rent, then
- 1:26:43Speaker 19: you're still paying high rental prices because although rent prices
- 1:26:48Speaker 19: have dropped a little bit, it's still high. It's still
- 1:26:51Speaker 19: over two thousand dollars on average. So you're in a
- 1:26:56Speaker 19: position right now. I think home buyers and investors as well.
- 1:27:00Speaker 19: Home buyers I speak to are in the position is
- 1:27:02Speaker 19: you damned if you do, you're damned if you don't. Right,
- 1:27:04Speaker 19: it's either you're gonna rent, all you're gonna buy. Either
- 1:27:07Speaker 19: all you're going to pay a higher price, and that's
- 1:27:10Speaker 19: why you need to focus on really more streams of
- 1:27:12Speaker 19: income and being able to create a better lifestyle for
- 1:27:16Speaker 19: yourself because you can't control these markets, you can't control inflation,
- 1:27:20Speaker 19: but you can control what you do on your daily basis,
- 1:27:24Speaker 19: and that's bringing in more money, because that's the only
- 1:27:27Speaker 19: way you really truly fight inflation is bringing in more
- 1:27:30Speaker 19: money and investing.
- 1:27:33Speaker 5: Yeah, So from an investment standpoint, in one of the
- 1:27:36Speaker 5: articles I was reading earlier today, they said that the
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: home purchases new home purchases from investors are down by
- 1:27:43Speaker 5: thirty percent as the rates rise. As we start to see,
- 1:27:45Speaker 5: like you said, rates hit maybe seven in a quarter,
- 1:27:48Speaker 5: they've climbed down I think maybe six and three quarters.
- 1:27:51Speaker 5: Now do you see that trend continuing as far as
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: from an investment standpoint when we talk about real.
- 1:27:57Speaker 19: Estate, absolutely, I think you're gonna have some investors that
- 1:28:00Speaker 19: sit on the sideline. But that's going to be an
- 1:28:02Speaker 19: investors who probably shouldn't have been in the business regardless.
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: Right, you gotta look at it.
- 1:28:06Speaker 19: Right, when money is cheap, everybody can do something because
- 1:28:11Speaker 19: the money is so cheap, and there was a lot
- 1:28:13Speaker 19: of money in the streets too. When you think about
- 1:28:16Speaker 19: PPP loans, where you think about people didn't have to
- 1:28:19Speaker 19: pay rent, when you think about all this stuff that
- 1:28:22Speaker 19: put money out there. People didn't even have to go
- 1:28:24Speaker 19: to work for crime out low and it still was
- 1:28:25Speaker 19: getting paid. So there was a lot of money that
- 1:28:28Speaker 19: was in the streets that enabled people to go out there.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: To invest at a high level.
- 1:28:33Speaker 19: Now you have it where rates are hired, especially if
- 1:28:36Speaker 19: you're buying investment properties those rates. If the homeowner rate
- 1:28:40Speaker 19: for primary residence is in a six seven percent, then
- 1:28:43Speaker 19: you're talking about eight to eleven percent if you're looking
- 1:28:47Speaker 19: to buy a rental property. So that's going to hurt
- 1:28:51Speaker 19: cash flowing numbers dependent on where you're looking to buy.
- 1:28:55Speaker 19: So yeah, you're going to see a lot of investors
- 1:28:58Speaker 19: kind of sit on the sidelines right now. Let's really
- 1:29:00Speaker 19: look at what a lot of the big boys are
- 1:29:02Speaker 19: still doing. Look at JP Morgan Chase for example, they
- 1:29:05Speaker 19: just committed that they're gonna buy a billion dollars worth
- 1:29:07Speaker 19: of single family rentals. Like investors are gonna invest regardless
- 1:29:12Speaker 19: of whatever the market is. It's just depending on what
- 1:29:14Speaker 19: game when you're playing. So there's going to be a
- 1:29:16Speaker 19: lot of people that will sit on the sidelines. But
- 1:29:18Speaker 19: I don't want any of our people to be deterred
- 1:29:21Speaker 19: by the fact that you read these articles and stuff
- 1:29:24Speaker 19: like that, like no go out there invest because when
- 1:29:27Speaker 19: you see people like JP Morgan Chase, these big institutional
- 1:29:30Speaker 19: investors still out here getting deals done, there's no reason
- 1:29:35Speaker 19: why we shouldn't be out here trying to look for
- 1:29:37Speaker 19: our deals too. But we just got to analyze them
- 1:29:39Speaker 19: properly to make sure the casual cash returns are there.
- 1:29:42Speaker 19: And also, Troy, before you go on overshot, you have
- 1:29:46Speaker 19: to look at this rate.
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: It's temporary.
- 1:29:48Speaker 19: So if you get a property that's cash flow, let's
- 1:29:50Speaker 19: just say you're making a nine percent cash on cash
- 1:29:52Speaker 19: return at a ten percent interest rate, you have to
- 1:29:56Speaker 19: look at your pro former and see what is this
- 1:29:58Speaker 19: going to look like If I'm able to refinance in
- 1:30:00Speaker 19: two years and those rates drop down to six percent
- 1:30:04Speaker 19: five percent, what does my cash on cash return look
- 1:30:07Speaker 19: like at that moment. So it's all on how It's
- 1:30:11Speaker 19: all on your perspective and how you're really truly analyzing
- 1:30:14Speaker 19: your deal's to determine if a deal is going to
- 1:30:16Speaker 19: be a good one.
- 1:30:16Speaker 5: Or bad one. Yeah, I think that's one of those
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: things that people we don't look at right, Like, let's
- 1:30:21Speaker 5: look at the long term perspective, especially if you're in
- 1:30:23Speaker 5: a thirty year loan. If you get this interest right
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: now at ten percent or eight percent in five years,
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: if that goes down to five, like, you're actually gonna
- 1:30:30Speaker 5: be saving on that refive that that has that long
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: same thing when we talk about investing in the market,
- 1:30:36Speaker 5: it's like, look, we're not thinking about two years, three years.
- 1:30:39Speaker 5: You have a thirty year mortgage, Like, think about the
- 1:30:41Speaker 5: long term payout on this thing one hundred percent.
- 1:30:45Speaker 3: So let me ask you this, Okay, what advice do
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: you have for first time home boys in this economic
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: and clock environment programs tips?
- 1:30:58Speaker 19: So my best advice is the same thing probably been
- 1:31:00Speaker 19: saying from day one. Don't buy nothing you can't really afford.
- 1:31:03Speaker 19: Don't be house rich and cash poor. The same rules apply, right,
- 1:31:07Speaker 19: the math is still going to math. If you can't
- 1:31:09Speaker 19: afford something, don't buy it. If you're going to buy something,
- 1:31:12Speaker 19: make sure you have reserves because you never know what
- 1:31:15Speaker 19: can happen in life. So my tip is always going
- 1:31:17Speaker 19: to be say, don't try to go into these situations
- 1:31:21Speaker 19: and buying real estate, especially if your first time home
- 1:31:23Speaker 19: buyer and not have any money because nothing is promised.
- 1:31:29Speaker 19: Your job is not promised. Right, But as far as tips,
- 1:31:34Speaker 19: it's very simple. If you buying rental properties, do your
- 1:31:37Speaker 19: best to put yourself in a position where you can
- 1:31:40Speaker 19: have your apartments on programs. You know section eight. You
- 1:31:43Speaker 19: have domestic violence programs. You have all types of different
- 1:31:46Speaker 19: programs that are out there where the government will pay
- 1:31:50Speaker 19: the rent for the tenant, where that's going to be
- 1:31:53Speaker 19: guaranteed money. No matter if it's a recession, it's a
- 1:31:55Speaker 19: bull market, a bear market, the government is always going
- 1:31:58Speaker 19: to pay for these programs.
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: So you have to look at that. You have to
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: be creative right now.
- 1:32:04Speaker 19: You know, with house hacking, I think at first time
- 1:32:07Speaker 19: home buyer, if your goal is to become an investor,
- 1:32:09Speaker 19: and if your goal is to be a landlord, you
- 1:32:12Speaker 19: definitely have to look at house hacking. Right even if
- 1:32:15Speaker 19: you have to buy a single family or do a
- 1:32:18Speaker 19: single family home, there's ways to house hack that too.
- 1:32:21Speaker 19: Buy property that you can possibly add adu or since
- 1:32:24Speaker 19: we dwelling unit, or turn your basement into a content space.
- 1:32:28Speaker 19: I mean, look at look, we have a content space
- 1:32:31Speaker 19: right here, your headquarters is a content space, right, So
- 1:32:35Speaker 19: there's a many different ways that you could go out
- 1:32:37Speaker 19: here to bring in money to help.
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: Supplement your mortgage.
- 1:32:40Speaker 19: Payment if you are a first time home buyer, So
- 1:32:43Speaker 19: you just got to be creative right now, especially in
- 1:32:46Speaker 19: these high inflationary times. You can't just depend on one
- 1:32:49Speaker 19: source of income, and especially if your first time home buyer,
- 1:32:51Speaker 19: you got to remember that mortgage payment is due every month,
- 1:32:54Speaker 19: so you have to be creative on ways to get
- 1:32:56Speaker 19: that mortgage paid by any means necessary.
- 1:33:00Speaker 5: Of the most profound things you said to us over
- 1:33:02Speaker 5: three years ago is that equity is monopoly money, and
- 1:33:05Speaker 5: people kind of didn't really understand it. Can you break
- 1:33:08Speaker 5: it down for the new audience that that's here with
- 1:33:10Speaker 5: us tonight about what you mean by that.
- 1:33:13Speaker 19: So, equity is monopoly money, right, It's unrealized gains. It's
- 1:33:17Speaker 19: just like when you're looking at your your trading accounts.
- 1:33:21Speaker 19: You may be up, but it's unrealized. It's not really
- 1:33:25Speaker 19: real money until you take it out, until you sell
- 1:33:28Speaker 19: your trade, and then it's real money for you.
- 1:33:31Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:33:31Speaker 19: It's the same thing like equity. So if your home
- 1:33:34Speaker 19: appreciated two hundred thousand, three hundred thousand, that doesn't mean
- 1:33:38Speaker 19: that that money belongs to you. It's there, it gives
- 1:33:42Speaker 19: you value, it's a part of your network now. But
- 1:33:45Speaker 19: it's not like you can stick your debit card in
- 1:33:47Speaker 19: the freaking doorbell and say give me some of my
- 1:33:49Speaker 19: equity today, please, Right.
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: You still have to apply for a loan and get
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: approved for it.
- 1:33:55Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:33:56Speaker 19: So unless you tap into that equity via cash out
- 1:34:00Speaker 19: refinance or home equity line of credit, then that money
- 1:34:05Speaker 19: is dead money. So and if the market does crash,
- 1:34:09Speaker 19: let's just say God forbid, the market does crash and
- 1:34:11Speaker 19: you lose thirty forty percent of the equity. You know
- 1:34:14Speaker 19: that two point fifty now went to probably one fifty.
- 1:34:18Speaker 19: So what I try to tell people choice is, especially
- 1:34:21Speaker 19: if you have money in your primary residence. First of all,
- 1:34:24Speaker 19: my disclaimer as always is make sure you have a
- 1:34:28Speaker 19: plan of action.
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: Remember this is the church's money.
- 1:34:30Speaker 19: So if you're taking money from a cash out refinance
- 1:34:33Speaker 19: or a homemcking line of credit from your primary residence,
- 1:34:36Speaker 19: remember you have an extra bill now it's another mortgage,
- 1:34:40Speaker 19: so you have to have a plan of action to
- 1:34:42Speaker 19: repay that. So don't take it and go to Dubai
- 1:34:45Speaker 19: and try to go outter the top tallest building, like
- 1:34:47Speaker 19: Rashad was taking videos and having closing deals. Right, because
- 1:34:51Speaker 19: that money is not making you money being in Dubai.
- 1:34:54Speaker 19: Use that money to invest, use that money to start
- 1:34:58Speaker 19: your business something that can bring you you a r
- 1:35:01Speaker 19: R immediately so that way you can pay it back.
- 1:35:05Speaker 19: So unless you use that money, it's just monopoly money.
- 1:35:08Speaker 19: It sounds good to have. Hey, I got two hundred equity,
- 1:35:11Speaker 19: but it's not in your bank accounting.
- 1:35:14Speaker 4: Yeah, Bergi of Khalifa.
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: Yeah, it looked amazing.
- 1:35:18Speaker 5: Yeah, a good place to visit.
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: Man, one hundred and fifty fourth floors.
- 1:35:23Speaker 5: Up for the world.
- 1:35:24Speaker 2: Literally, yeah, literally top of the world. High level conversations. Yeah,
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: set out the nineteen keys.
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: Shout out tonight, shout out to nineteen keys. So let's
- 1:35:36Speaker 3: talk about Okay, let's talk about this refinancing. Is this
- 1:35:44Speaker 3: a time that people should be refinancing?
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: Yes and no.
- 1:35:52Speaker 5: No.
- 1:35:53Speaker 19: I would say no and yes. If you have an
- 1:35:55Speaker 19: interest rate and in the past two years you know,
- 1:35:59Speaker 19: twos threes fours.
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: Probably hell no.
- 1:36:04Speaker 19: Right, If you have equity in your home and you
- 1:36:07Speaker 19: want to tap into that, I would say get a
- 1:36:09Speaker 19: line of credit versus refinancing. If you have an investment property.
- 1:36:15Speaker 19: And this is for the investors. If you're in a
- 1:36:17Speaker 19: hard money deal and you're trying to burrow, you have
- 1:36:19Speaker 19: no choice but the refinance. If you're an investor and
- 1:36:22Speaker 19: you have a bunch of equery in your home and
- 1:36:24Speaker 19: you're trying to scale your portfolio, it might be it
- 1:36:28Speaker 19: might make sense to refinance because and pull that cash
- 1:36:31Speaker 19: out because you're not paying the bill, your tenants are
- 1:36:34Speaker 19: and as long as you're still cash flowing, then it
- 1:36:36Speaker 19: could make sense to you. And let me flip back
- 1:36:39Speaker 19: to the homeowners. The homeowners out there who might want
- 1:36:41Speaker 19: to refinance. If you have a lot of high interest
- 1:36:45Speaker 19: credit cards, you know, maybe student loans, and you know
- 1:36:49Speaker 19: you're suffocating yourself, don't hold on to that two three
- 1:36:53Speaker 19: percent rate knowing that you have one hundred thousand dollars
- 1:36:56Speaker 19: in credit card debt and if you got to look
- 1:36:59Speaker 19: at the numbers US to see if you do a
- 1:37:01Speaker 19: debt consolidation loan, doesn't make sense for you to refinance
- 1:37:06Speaker 19: to pay off all that debt and have a cheaper
- 1:37:09Speaker 19: payment overall. That would probably be the only way I
- 1:37:12Speaker 19: would probably advise a primary residence or a homeowner to refinance.
- 1:37:17Speaker 19: Only if they didn't have means to pay off all
- 1:37:20Speaker 19: that high debt. But other than that, homeowners right now,
- 1:37:24Speaker 19: I probably wouldn't refinance. I would do more of a
- 1:37:26Speaker 19: home acking lint of credit and investors. Depending on your
- 1:37:28Speaker 19: deal and what you got going on, it could be
- 1:37:31Speaker 19: advantageous for you to look into doing a refinance.
- 1:37:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I want to tie the whole night into it.
- 1:37:35Speaker 16: Right.
- 1:37:36Speaker 5: We started with building a brand with them, and obviously
- 1:37:40Speaker 5: we're ending out with real estate. But you've built a
- 1:37:42Speaker 5: brand in real estate, which is pretty difficult. Right when
- 1:37:46Speaker 5: you walk around the country, we see it. People attracted
- 1:37:49Speaker 5: to what you're doing. You've inspired them, You've changed their lives.
- 1:37:53Speaker 5: Not an easy task, and every time I look at you,
- 1:37:55Speaker 5: I feel like you're doing something new to try to
- 1:37:58Speaker 5: expand the brand. Obviously, now you're sitting in the content
- 1:38:00Speaker 5: study that you built. Talk about that in the real
- 1:38:04Speaker 5: estate field, building a brand because we see people do it. Obviously,
- 1:38:07Speaker 5: shout out to your partner and rant James Keanna, who's
- 1:38:10Speaker 5: done an amazing job with it as well. Can you
- 1:38:12Speaker 5: talk about the strategies that you use to build your brand?
- 1:38:15Speaker 19: Ah Man, that's a great question, Troy. I'm glad you
- 1:38:18Speaker 19: asked that one the Rizza Man, the Rizza twenty eighteen.
- 1:38:23Speaker 19: I say, your Riza Man, how to how you got
- 1:38:25Speaker 19: the shave room for financial literacy and your comments? And
- 1:38:27Speaker 19: you got four thousand comments and you got nine thousand followers.
- 1:38:31Speaker 19: And he said, Bro, you got to deepen your relationship
- 1:38:33Speaker 19: with your audience. All the stuff that you talk about
- 1:38:37Speaker 19: to your clients, you got to start bringing it to
- 1:38:39Speaker 19: your social media. And I was like, what are you
- 1:38:41Speaker 19: talking about? He said, well, are you talking to me?
- 1:38:43Speaker 19: I'm a financial advisor. Why don't you start talking about
- 1:38:46Speaker 19: financial planning because it goes hand in hand with home ownership.
- 1:38:49Speaker 19: And that was the first time that I really understood
- 1:38:52Speaker 19: social media thanks to your bestie Rashod and from that,
- 1:39:01Speaker 19: from that moment, now I'm keeping in the buck. You
- 1:39:03Speaker 19: taught how the brand built, right, So it was the
- 1:39:06Speaker 19: power collaboration. It's something I've been doing in my entire career.
- 1:39:09Speaker 19: So anybody who's a transaction professional. Our businesses were not built.
- 1:39:14Speaker 19: We were not taught social media when we came into
- 1:39:17Speaker 19: this game, right, especially me. I've been doing this for
- 1:39:20Speaker 19: almost twenty years. And the new folks who are coming
- 1:39:21Speaker 19: and they're not being taught social media. We're taught how
- 1:39:24Speaker 19: to develop relationships, especially from a loan office a perspective
- 1:39:28Speaker 19: with realtors, financial planners, CPAs insurance agents, and we build
- 1:39:33Speaker 19: our book of business and we work our book of business.
- 1:39:36Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:39:37Speaker 19: My business model wasn't built for social media, but when
- 1:39:41Speaker 19: I started bringing those conversations to my page and tying
- 1:39:44Speaker 19: that in to home ownership, it kind of opened up
- 1:39:48Speaker 19: the eyes. I was probably one of the first people
- 1:39:50Speaker 19: in the mortgage space that was doing this at a
- 1:39:54Speaker 19: small level at that time and which has continuously graduated
- 1:39:58Speaker 19: into something big. So power collaboration will be the first
- 1:40:01Speaker 19: step that I would tell anybody in my profession that
- 1:40:04Speaker 19: they got to do. Number two always add value to people.
- 1:40:08Speaker 19: The reason why I'm even probably a partner in eyl
- 1:40:11Speaker 19: University in vestments and amongst other things that we do together,
- 1:40:14Speaker 19: and why I'm probably here today is because I did
- 1:40:17Speaker 19: my best to add value to Rashad's business without even
- 1:40:21Speaker 19: asking him for anything. I did things without asking for nothing, right.
- 1:40:25Speaker 19: It was just I generally want to see my people win.
- 1:40:28Speaker 19: He was a financial planner when we met, and I
- 1:40:31Speaker 19: wanted to send him business because I wanted my people
- 1:40:34Speaker 19: to work with a black Man, and he seemed super.
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: Knowledgeable to me.
- 1:40:38Speaker 19: Right, So add value to people and don't have no
- 1:40:41Speaker 19: expectations because if you add enough value to people, it
- 1:40:45Speaker 19: would come back to you tenfold. See the problem in
- 1:40:47Speaker 19: our business, especially from transaction professionals, we always got a
- 1:40:50Speaker 19: freaking handout. We always want something to return, and you
- 1:40:54Speaker 19: don't need to do that. Just add value and your
- 1:40:57Speaker 19: blessings will come to you. So that would be number
- 1:40:59Speaker 19: two things and number three consistency. You have to be
- 1:41:03Speaker 19: consistent if you're gonna hit social media. Now one thing
- 1:41:08Speaker 19: that I even had to learn. This is very difficult
- 1:41:10Speaker 19: to do. This is not easy. It's none to forty
- 1:41:12Speaker 19: at night. I've been filming all day, I've been working
- 1:41:15Speaker 19: on loans, I've been talking to people all day long.
- 1:41:18Speaker 19: But I still find the time every single day to
- 1:41:21Speaker 19: do content, to put out content because I understand if
- 1:41:25Speaker 19: I do not let my voice be heard, then the
- 1:41:28Speaker 19: only thing that people will hear is the news and
- 1:41:31Speaker 19: what their feelingmongering is. And I have a voice and
- 1:41:33Speaker 19: I'm going to use it to my advantage. So I'm
- 1:41:36Speaker 19: very consistent on what I do and I invest into
- 1:41:39Speaker 19: my business like Tuks is here where we're right now.
- 1:41:42Speaker 19: He's a part of the team. We built out a
- 1:41:44Speaker 19: content studio. We invest tens of thousands of dollars in equipment,
- 1:41:48Speaker 19: We travel everywhere to get more content.
- 1:41:51Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:41:52Speaker 2: We're very consistent about what we're doing, and we don't
- 1:41:55Speaker 2: take no days off. This is the way.
- 1:41:58Speaker 19: This has been the business model of EYL and I'm
- 1:42:02Speaker 19: just following suit with the plan of action is Yo,
- 1:42:06Speaker 19: we gotta outwork everybody. No one can put out more
- 1:42:09Speaker 19: content than us, no one can give as much free
- 1:42:12Speaker 19: game as us.
- 1:42:13Speaker 2: We have to be the authority.
- 1:42:14Speaker 19: Rash called me the authority in real estate two years ago,
- 1:42:17Speaker 19: and I looked at it and I called him.
- 1:42:19Speaker 2: I said, Yo, why are you calling me that?
- 1:42:20Speaker 5: Bro?
- 1:42:21Speaker 19: Like I really didn't understand where he was gone with this.
- 1:42:24Speaker 19: But he's like, no, you're the authority, bro, And I'm
- 1:42:28Speaker 19: like this, it's crazy. Right now, fast forward, I am
- 1:42:33Speaker 19: the authority in real estate, period point blank.
- 1:42:36Speaker 2: And it's nothing you could tell me otherwise.
- 1:42:38Speaker 19: Because I believe it now and because I'm consistent and
- 1:42:41Speaker 19: no one's gonna outwork me. So all my real estate professionals,
- 1:42:45Speaker 19: you have to be hungry, you gotta really want this,
- 1:42:48Speaker 19: and you you gotta go out here and just do
- 1:42:52Speaker 19: massive in person imperfect actions every single day to achieve
- 1:42:56Speaker 19: your goals.
- 1:42:57Speaker 5: Massive perfect actions.
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: Shot to my let let's get Let's get some questions
- 1:43:02Speaker 3: if we can before before we round, people will.
- 1:43:04Speaker 19: Have drop some gems in the common people. Let's go, man,
- 1:43:08Speaker 19: this is E Y L power by Recession proof. Drop
- 1:43:11Speaker 19: some gems in the comments. Man, y'all came here to learn.

- 1:43:34Speaker 19: pm Eastern stand time. It was phenomenal. Shout out the
- 1:43:37Speaker 19: at my best one nine seven.
- 1:43:39Speaker 5: All right, Well, listen, what's going on? You got MG
- 1:43:41Speaker 5: on a lot with us.
- 1:43:43Speaker 6: Hey, y'all, how are y'all?
- 1:43:44Speaker 2: What's up?
- 1:43:46Speaker 8: I am great?
- 1:43:48Speaker 13: I actually met you so long ago when you hosted
- 1:43:52Speaker 13: an event with the knees the broker. I was at
- 1:43:55Speaker 13: the brokerge at the time and I met you.
- 1:43:57Speaker 19: That was like that was it's like three years ago. Wow'
- 1:44:05Speaker 19: yeah they won't.
- 1:44:06Speaker 2: I love it?
- 1:44:08Speaker 6: Oh man.
- 1:44:09Speaker 13: I actually have a quick question. So last year I
- 1:44:14Speaker 13: purchased my childhood home in Florida. We have roughly about
- 1:44:19Speaker 13: two hundred and fifty.
- 1:44:20Speaker 7: Thousand dollars in equity and I.
- 1:44:23Speaker 13: Want to pull it out because the game plan that
- 1:44:25Speaker 13: I have is to purchase an apartment complex. But I
- 1:44:31Speaker 13: don't know if I should pull out a helock or
- 1:44:35Speaker 13: a line of equity. So I'm not sure which direction
- 1:44:38Speaker 13: go in with that, and so I kind of wanted
- 1:44:41Speaker 13: to hear what you may think.
- 1:44:44Speaker 19: So, so it's a helock home equit line of credit
- 1:44:48Speaker 19: and then you have a he loan, which is an
- 1:44:51Speaker 19: equity loan. Right, So there's two options you can do.
- 1:44:54Speaker 19: Both of them are considered like second mortgages, right. A
- 1:44:58Speaker 19: home equi line of credit it kind of acts like
- 1:45:00Speaker 19: a credit card where you have a ten year draw
- 1:45:03Speaker 19: period where you can use the money paid off, use
- 1:45:06Speaker 19: the money paid off, use the money paid off right,
- 1:45:09Speaker 19: and then after ten years it could turn into a
- 1:45:11Speaker 19: twenty year fix. Some banks may turn it into a
- 1:45:14Speaker 19: ten year fix, just depending on the bank and their terms.
- 1:45:17Speaker 19: And so that's heat a HE lock, right, and you're
- 1:45:20Speaker 19: only paying money that you use. So if you borrow
- 1:45:23Speaker 19: let's just say one hundred k out of that two
- 1:45:25Speaker 19: point fifty, if you don't use the one hundred k,
- 1:45:28Speaker 19: you don't make a payment. If you use twenty five thousand,
- 1:45:31Speaker 19: you make a payment on that twenty five thousand and not.
- 1:45:34Speaker 19: The difference now a HEAT loan is they're basically giving
- 1:45:38Speaker 19: you that one hundred thousand dollars the day of closing
- 1:45:40Speaker 19: or three days after closing via wire check, whatever, and
- 1:45:44Speaker 19: you're making a payment the next month, even if you
- 1:45:48Speaker 19: didn't deploy that capital into a project, and that it's
- 1:45:54Speaker 19: going to be a fixed rate mortgage and it will
- 1:45:56Speaker 19: be probably for a twenty or thirty year term, but
- 1:45:59Speaker 19: right now those rates are probably going to be nine
- 1:46:01Speaker 19: to eleven percent, just depending. But so for me personally,
- 1:46:05Speaker 19: I necessarily don't like the HE loans because again, if
- 1:46:09Speaker 19: I get one hundred k from it, I have to
- 1:46:11Speaker 19: make payments right away and I might still be shopping
- 1:46:14Speaker 19: for deals and I still got to make this monthly payment,
- 1:46:17Speaker 19: whereas with a HE lock. I have more flexibility with
- 1:46:20Speaker 19: it now once you have that one hundred k, even
- 1:46:24Speaker 19: if you spend it all, once you start paying down
- 1:46:26Speaker 19: that principle, it's not like you can access that funds again.
- 1:46:30Speaker 19: With a he loan, you're just paying it back. But
- 1:46:32Speaker 19: with the he lock, over that first ten years, you
- 1:46:34Speaker 19: can kind of move and shake the way you want.
- 1:46:36Speaker 19: So I would recommend he lock, but my disclaimer as
- 1:46:41Speaker 19: always have a plan to make sure you pay back
- 1:46:44Speaker 19: that debt because you don't want to mess up the
- 1:46:45Speaker 19: church's money.
- 1:46:48Speaker 6: Thank you so much, thank you, Cole.
- 1:46:51Speaker 2: So happy holidays, Happy holidays.
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: What's the different between the he loan and a refile.
- 1:46:59Speaker 19: So refinance is when you are using you're refinancing your
- 1:47:05Speaker 19: first mortgage, right, So if your first mortgage has a
- 1:47:09Speaker 19: rate of three percent and you want to do a
- 1:47:12Speaker 19: cash out refinance, then you're subject to whatever the market
- 1:47:17Speaker 19: rate is today for that cash out refinance, and you'll
- 1:47:23Speaker 19: have one mortgage. So let's just say you owe three
- 1:47:25Speaker 19: hundred thousand rashard and you want to take out two
- 1:47:27Speaker 19: hundred thousand on the cash out refinance. Now you're going
- 1:47:30Speaker 19: to owe five hundred thousand, but it will be at
- 1:47:33Speaker 19: that much higher interest rate where today's market is. So
- 1:47:36Speaker 19: that's why for me, I would recommend, if you have
- 1:47:39Speaker 19: that amount of equity and you can qualify, I would
- 1:47:42Speaker 19: prefer you to leave that first mortgage loan so you
- 1:47:45Speaker 19: can keep that three percent rate and you get the
- 1:47:48Speaker 19: helock in second position or second lean on the property,
- 1:47:52Speaker 19: and you're able to have that flexibility with that capital
- 1:47:55Speaker 19: to use it as you can.
- 1:47:57Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:47:57Speaker 19: I want to say this too with helock. Those of
- 1:48:01Speaker 19: you who have helocks that are open right now, be
- 1:48:04Speaker 19: very mindful of this. That money is not yours unless
- 1:48:09Speaker 19: you deploy it. So if you have a two hundred
- 1:48:12Speaker 19: thousand dollars helock right now, and let's just say you
- 1:48:16Speaker 19: only use fifty thousand of that helock, so you have
- 1:48:20Speaker 19: availability of one hundred and fifty thousand left, at any
- 1:48:24Speaker 19: given moment, the bank can close your line of credit
- 1:48:29Speaker 19: with no warning. So if the economic downturn continues to happen,
- 1:48:34Speaker 19: if we slide into this recession, if inflation continues to rise,
- 1:48:39Speaker 19: if it goes back up, if home prices keep declining,
- 1:48:43Speaker 19: if home values slip and decline further, the banks at
- 1:48:47Speaker 19: any given time can say, you know what, there's too
- 1:48:50Speaker 19: much risk to have this much equity just out there.
- 1:48:56Speaker 19: Let us cut this off so that way people don't
- 1:48:59Speaker 19: go upside down and they.
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: Risk their investment of being paid back.
- 1:49:04Speaker 19: So I need you, guys, if you have current home
- 1:49:07Speaker 19: equi line of credits, be mindful that because you'll wake
- 1:49:10Speaker 19: up one morning thinking you got one hundred and fifty
- 1:49:13Speaker 19: k or whatever it is to play with, and that
- 1:49:15Speaker 19: thing will be gone. Be mindful even with your credit cards.
- 1:49:20Speaker 19: Even with your credit cards, they'll do that on AMEX
- 1:49:22Speaker 19: and the heartbeat that you think you got a hundred
- 1:49:25Speaker 19: thousand limit and you got fifty thousand now, So just
- 1:49:28Speaker 19: be mindful of that.
- 1:49:29Speaker 4: People.
- 1:49:33Speaker 5: Yeah, Dante Walker, we coming to you and meet yourself.
- 1:49:35Speaker 5: You've been muted. What's going on well?
- 1:49:42Speaker 19: Guidelines god Lines line Godelines, guidelines guidelines.
- 1:49:48Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, let's we're gonna go to de Devin. We're
- 1:49:52Speaker 5: coming to you. Mute yourself. You've been on you. What's
- 1:49:55Speaker 5: going on? Devon? It's Thanksgiving these Yeah, thank you man,
- 1:50:00Speaker 5: Thank you guys.
- 1:50:02Speaker 16: The question was mean. So my question was I have
- 1:50:08Speaker 16: a two question. So the first one is what are
- 1:50:11Speaker 16: some of the best bumps to to get elock from.
- 1:50:16Speaker 4: The best bank to get the heck.
- 1:50:18Speaker 19: From that, I would say, always try your local credit
- 1:50:22Speaker 19: union and always try to like the local regional banks
- 1:50:26Speaker 19: first for your home Aqulanta Credits because your credit union
- 1:50:30Speaker 19: and your local regional bank wants the local business right
- 1:50:35Speaker 19: and they want that relationship. They want you to bring
- 1:50:37Speaker 19: over accounts and other accounts, so they will probably be
- 1:50:41Speaker 19: the first stops that I would go to if I
- 1:50:43Speaker 19: was looking for home Agreelanta credit would be a local
- 1:50:46Speaker 19: credit union or local regional bank.
- 1:50:49Speaker 16: Okay, thank you. The second question is seller, my owner finance.
- 1:50:57Speaker 16: I sell piece of property. It's a lone and you're
- 1:51:01Speaker 16: doing that on a fine that I want to top
- 1:51:05Speaker 16: into that because I got my equipments, I do trucking
- 1:51:08Speaker 16: and I need somewhere to park. How do I approach
- 1:51:11Speaker 16: something like that?
- 1:51:14Speaker 19: The seller makes the terms, so the seller finance, and
- 1:51:20Speaker 19: just for those of you who'll know, is basically when
- 1:51:21Speaker 19: the seller is agreeing to basically give you a private
- 1:51:24Speaker 19: mortgage and hold that note, and they would dictate the terms. Now,
- 1:51:30Speaker 19: obviously you're dealing directly with the seller, so you have
- 1:51:32Speaker 19: room to negotiate with them. So they might say, all right,
- 1:51:36Speaker 19: I'll give you this alone if you're able to put
- 1:51:39Speaker 19: twenty percent down and you will be able. I'll give
- 1:51:43Speaker 19: you a loan for ten years at market rate of
- 1:51:47Speaker 19: seven percent interest only, but after ten years it's a
- 1:51:52Speaker 19: balloon payment and you have to pay me back something
- 1:51:54Speaker 19: like that.
- 1:51:55Speaker 9: Right.
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: I'm just giving you, guys an example of what it
- 1:51:57Speaker 2: would look like. But you have the bill to.
- 1:52:00Speaker 19: Negotiate with them if they're trying, if they are flexible,
- 1:52:03Speaker 19: and if they really want to, you know, get rid
- 1:52:07Speaker 19: of that property. So I think seller financing is a
- 1:52:10Speaker 19: great tool. But any any way you can finance a
- 1:52:13Speaker 19: real estate deal is a great option. It's a great tool.
- 1:52:16Speaker 19: So if you have an opportunity like that, Devin, I
- 1:52:19Speaker 19: would highly recommend that you continue to explore that opportunity.
- 1:52:24Speaker 16: All right, thank you, Thank you guys, Thank you very much.
- 1:52:27Speaker 5: No problem, brother, Thanks DEVI M how you feel we
- 1:52:31Speaker 5: take one more? Yeah?
- 1:52:33Speaker 2: Yeah, keep going bro outside.
- 1:52:36Speaker 5: I let's do this. George Murray were coming to me?
- 1:52:38Speaker 5: You unmute yourself, you've been unmuted? Yes, thank you? Hello Howard, y'all.
- 1:52:44Speaker 2: Doing alive and blessed? Alive and blessed.
- 1:52:47Speaker 9: Okay, so you entered the game with your real estate
- 1:52:52Speaker 9: license or you did all of this without your real
- 1:52:54Speaker 9: estate license because I heard you say that you were
- 1:52:57Speaker 9: working on loans.
- 1:52:58Speaker 19: Nah into the game as as a mortgage guy. I
- 1:53:01Speaker 19: entered this game as a loan officer, and I actually
- 1:53:04Speaker 19: had my real estate license too. It's still I still
- 1:53:07Speaker 19: have it. I just got to reactivate it. But I
- 1:53:10Speaker 19: primarily focus on mortgage originations. I help people get funding
- 1:53:14Speaker 19: for deals. For the past twenty years, over a billion
- 1:53:16Speaker 19: dollars funded in my career.
- 1:53:18Speaker 2: I am MG the mortgage guy. George.
- 1:53:21Speaker 9: Okay, So, so so you reach out to Florida as
- 1:53:24Speaker 9: well or just yes, sir.
- 1:53:26Speaker 2: I do all types of loans.
- 1:53:27Speaker 19: I work with first time home buyers investors, no matter
- 1:53:31Speaker 19: if your first time investor to savvy investors. I work
- 1:53:33Speaker 19: on commercial deals. I can do rehab financing, I can
- 1:53:37Speaker 19: do development financing. Whatever you want. I'm like Baskin Robbins George.
- 1:53:42Speaker 5: Okay, So what else you need?
- 1:53:44Speaker 8: So where do I go to?
- 1:53:45Speaker 5: Your page? Do I go to?
- 1:53:47Speaker 6: You have to do?
- 1:53:48Speaker 2: If you want to work with me, apply with MG
- 1:53:50Speaker 2: dot com. That's it. Apply with MG dot com.
- 1:53:54Speaker 19: If you want to get pre approved, you want a
- 1:53:55Speaker 19: second opinion on the current deal, or if you want
- 1:53:57Speaker 19: to book a consultation with me on my team apply
- 1:54:00Speaker 19: with MG dot com.
- 1:54:02Speaker 5: Okay, gotcha. I appreciate that. Thanks for the blessing.
- 1:54:06Speaker 2: Continue blessings, my brother, Yes, blessing.
- 1:54:09Speaker 5: It's a blessing to be a blessing. All right, Dante Walker,
- 1:54:11Speaker 5: you ready, man, you're coming back to you mutter stuff
- 1:54:14Speaker 5: you've been on.
- 1:54:15Speaker 18: You.
- 1:54:15Speaker 5: Appreciate you, George Happy, holladays you and the fam you
- 1:54:18Speaker 5: as well.
- 1:54:19Speaker 2: Yep, yeah, I missed this. I haven't done this in
- 1:54:25Speaker 2: a while.
- 1:54:27Speaker 5: Dante, You've been unmuted, man, what's up?
- 1:54:34Speaker 19: You get the second change, so we might have to
- 1:54:37Speaker 19: clip that last one.
- 1:54:40Speaker 2: That last that last exchange. I kind of like that one's.
- 1:54:46Speaker 5: Gonna get your next post. Joseph, Joseph Wells Jr. We're
- 1:54:50Speaker 5: coming to you. Mute yourself. You've been unmuted. What's going on?
- 1:54:58Speaker 2: Guidelines, go lies, that's what's going on. Guidelines And he's.
- 1:55:11Speaker 4: Well, let's talk about this.
- 1:55:12Speaker 3: So part of Eyo University is MG the Mortgage Guys
- 1:55:16Speaker 3: home Boys Blueprint Vyume one and volume two, and can
- 1:55:20Speaker 3: you just talk about what's encompassed in the Homeboys Blueprint.
- 1:55:23Speaker 4: Volume one two?
- 1:55:25Speaker 19: So the home Buyers Blueprint series is the Encyclopedia for
- 1:55:29Speaker 19: Home Buyers and Investors.
- 1:55:31Speaker 4: The home boys get what which? What you get?
- 1:55:33Speaker 5: What'd you get?
- 1:55:34Speaker 4: The Encyclopedia word.
- 1:55:35Speaker 19: From from from Rashad. What shap allows us is the
- 1:55:39Speaker 19: resul y'all. I don't have no shame in telling y'all
- 1:55:42Speaker 19: this too. I have no no ego with this.
- 1:55:46Speaker 7: YO.
- 1:55:47Speaker 19: When he the first time he said that ship too,
- 1:55:49Speaker 19: I said, oh my god, the Encyclopedia.
- 1:55:53Speaker 2: I said, I'm gonna run that joint.
- 1:55:58Speaker 19: Yeah, y'all watching that's in real time, y'all, this is live,
- 1:56:04Speaker 19: but now it really is this but it really is though.
- 1:56:07Speaker 2: Encyclopedia for Home Buying.
- 1:56:09Speaker 19: The Homebuys Blueprint Volume one is fifteen plus hours of
- 1:56:13Speaker 19: content assessments. I mean you get the so any first
- 1:56:17Speaker 19: time home buyer new rail to like, yo, you can
- 1:56:21Speaker 19: go through that thing and kind of no, you can
- 1:56:24Speaker 19: get your deal closed.
- 1:56:25Speaker 5: Period.
- 1:56:26Speaker 19: It's helped thousands of people close on real estate and
- 1:56:29Speaker 19: one of the and I'll be honest, I don't even promote.
- 1:56:33Speaker 2: All the success of this.
- 1:56:34Speaker 19: And I got to get better at that because there's
- 1:56:36Speaker 19: been fat literally thousands of people.
- 1:56:38Speaker 2: We be all over the place.
- 1:56:40Speaker 19: And people always come up like, yo, I closed on
- 1:56:43Speaker 19: this I save money because of the Home Boys Blueprint
- 1:56:45Speaker 19: Volume one, right, So it's the Encyclopedia for home buy
- 1:56:48Speaker 19: It's probably my greatest work to this day.
- 1:56:50Speaker 2: I love that course and it's my baby. And look
- 1:56:55Speaker 2: Ab took it.
- 1:56:56Speaker 19: Ab was doing assessments and took it and he's like Yore, Matt,
- 1:57:00Speaker 19: I learned all about real estate because of the Home
- 1:57:02Speaker 19: Eys Blueprint.
- 1:57:03Speaker 3: So Mike Brown, Mike Brown actually brought a home off
- 1:57:06Speaker 3: of that eylum. Not he was saying, like, you know,
- 1:57:09Speaker 3: he brought the home after studying the blueprint. And the
- 1:57:12Speaker 3: thing about it is, like, you know, the encyclopedia is
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: fitting because you go to school and you study and
- 1:57:17Speaker 3: you learn about variety different things, but you never really
- 1:57:20Speaker 3: learn about the process of buying a home. And it's
- 1:57:22Speaker 3: very actually extremely complicated, not as easy as just going
- 1:57:25Speaker 3: to the bank and buy a home, and for most people,
- 1:57:28Speaker 3: that's the biggest purchase that you're ever going to make
- 1:57:30Speaker 3: in life. So being that there's no education on it,
- 1:57:33Speaker 3: where do you go to know what you're doing. You
- 1:57:36Speaker 3: just don't really know what you're doing. You just kind
- 1:57:37Speaker 3: of wing it and you end up making a lot
- 1:57:39Speaker 3: of mistakes. You don't even know you're making mistakes, so
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: you know, to have a curriculum to have you know,
- 1:57:45Speaker 3: a step by step died in buying a home and
- 1:57:50Speaker 3: then also how to renovate the home, and you know
- 1:57:53Speaker 3: different programs and interest rates and you know all of
- 1:57:57Speaker 3: that refinancing and all that stuff is actually extremely beneficial
- 1:58:01Speaker 3: for majority of people because it wasn't taught to you
- 1:58:06Speaker 3: in school, and if your parents didn't buy a home,
- 1:58:09Speaker 3: then even if they bought a home, they might not
- 1:58:12Speaker 3: be fully educated on the process. So it's people take
- 1:58:15Speaker 3: it for granted, but that is actually extremely beneficial educational
- 1:58:21Speaker 3: piece because there's so many different parts of buying home.
- 1:58:25Speaker 3: You got the entrepreneur loan, you got the jumbo mortgage,
- 1:58:28Speaker 3: you got the refine, you got the veteran loan, you
- 1:58:32Speaker 3: got the you know, the heat lot, you got the
- 1:58:36Speaker 3: two O three K, you got the two three K, you.
- 1:58:41Speaker 19: Got the home styles. So like volume two, the rehab
- 1:58:44Speaker 19: pack covers that covers fairly made home style rehab loan.
- 1:58:49Speaker 19: It covers the two or three K in depth detail.
- 1:58:52Speaker 19: That's around seven hours of information. And you know what
- 1:58:56Speaker 19: I really want to do is and all honestly, and
- 1:58:59Speaker 19: I put this in chat like a month ago. But
- 1:59:01Speaker 19: I really want to do volume three, and I think
- 1:59:04Speaker 19: Volume three is going to be the best body of
- 1:59:06Speaker 19: work that I've ever done in my life, superseding Volume
- 1:59:10Speaker 19: one because now there's new information, there's new things that
- 1:59:14Speaker 19: are happening in the world and in the marketplace, and
- 1:59:16Speaker 19: there's a lot of different loan products out there. So
- 1:59:19Speaker 19: I think with volume three that's going to encompass heavy investing,
- 1:59:24Speaker 19: heavy entrepreneur, self employed, and really teaching people how to
- 1:59:29Speaker 19: analyze deals and going through those motions too. So Blueprint
- 1:59:33Speaker 19: Volume three will be coming soon. I'm not going to
- 1:59:35Speaker 19: put a data on it right now because I'm going
- 1:59:38Speaker 19: to probably make that twenty plus hours of information to
- 1:59:42Speaker 19: really help people get the game on track, not they
- 1:59:44Speaker 19: push back, like this is really going to be a
- 1:59:47Speaker 19: dynamic piece of work and it's only going to be
- 1:59:51Speaker 19: for eyl University powered by Recession Proof. So if you
- 1:59:56Speaker 19: want to really learn how to fund your deal, it
- 2:00:00Speaker 19: was fun your investments and really get the vital information,
- 2:00:04Speaker 19: you got to be a part of this. Man, You
- 2:00:06Speaker 19: got to be a part of this So Home series
- 2:00:10Speaker 19: is phenomenal.
- 2:00:11Speaker 5: Yes, she just asked what she can get it If
- 2:00:13Speaker 5: you're in the chat. Then you have access to it
- 2:00:15Speaker 5: right now? Oh yeah, sure, surely.
- 2:00:18Speaker 19: Oh yeah, if you're in a zoom, then you already gucci.
- 2:00:22Speaker 5: Yeah, and man, I got I told you this when
- 2:00:25Speaker 5: I first saw it. I think I probably was the
- 2:00:26Speaker 5: first one to have eyes on the programming. So it
- 2:00:30Speaker 5: was a complete body of work, and you over delivered it.
- 2:00:32Speaker 5: I know. A lot of times I feel like, you know,
- 2:00:34Speaker 5: you get a little harder yourself, like you know, I
- 2:00:36Speaker 5: could have added more, and after like going through the
- 2:00:39Speaker 5: course and writing the assessments for the course, I'm like,
- 2:00:41Speaker 5: I'm not show how you could have. In fact, anybody
- 2:00:44Speaker 5: that takes it, they're gonna come out better and they're
- 2:00:46Speaker 5: going to come out with an understanding of real estate
- 2:00:48Speaker 5: that they never had before. I definitely did. And I
- 2:00:51Speaker 5: have a home and you walk me through the process
- 2:00:53Speaker 5: of getting another home. So congratulations to you. I know
- 2:00:56Speaker 5: you want to give us all flowers, but I want
- 2:00:57Speaker 5: to give you yours. Man. That is a complete body
- 2:00:59Speaker 5: of words, an authentic body of work, and it is
- 2:01:03Speaker 5: super digestible. And the fact that people get to assess
- 2:01:08Speaker 5: how they're learning and what they're learning throughout the process
- 2:01:10Speaker 5: makes it even better. Man. So progress to you on
- 2:01:13Speaker 5: the becoming the authority in the field of real estate
- 2:01:16Speaker 5: four community Man.
- 2:01:17Speaker 19: Troy, I appreciate that you from coming from you because
- 2:01:20Speaker 19: you're an educator, You're professionally trained at this, and when
- 2:01:24Speaker 19: you told me that, I'm like, nah, this shit sucks,
- 2:01:26Speaker 19: like like I could do a lot more. And you know,
- 2:01:29Speaker 19: the funny thing is, I said that about episode twelve
- 2:01:32Speaker 19: two and yeah, both is like, nah, it's good. Like
- 2:01:34Speaker 19: I am a tough critic on myself. I'm very hard
- 2:01:37Speaker 19: on everything that I do, and Troy is always that person.
- 2:01:41Speaker 19: Like now, as soon as I come off any stage
- 2:01:43Speaker 19: or anything, Troy is really literally the first person that
- 2:01:46Speaker 19: comes out to me like yore mg nah. Like so
- 2:01:50Speaker 19: I always appreciate you, bro, because coming from you being
- 2:01:54Speaker 19: a trained professional educator, that means a lot because I'm
- 2:01:57Speaker 19: not trained to do this. I don't even know how
- 2:01:59Speaker 19: I'm doing today. To be honest with you, I'm just
- 2:02:02Speaker 19: I'm just doing what I do and the blueprint. Looking
- 2:02:06Speaker 19: back at it now, I agree with a thousand percent
- 2:02:08Speaker 19: with you. That thing's a masterpiece and I'm very proud
- 2:02:12Speaker 19: of it. It's helped thousands of people buy real estate
- 2:02:15Speaker 19: the right way, get good deals. But now I think
- 2:02:18Speaker 19: I want to take it to the next level with
- 2:02:21Speaker 19: Volume three and just continue my mission. And my mission, fellas,
- 2:02:25Speaker 19: is to help close the wealth gap in real estate,
- 2:02:28Speaker 19: one brick at a time. And whether you're buying your
- 2:02:31Speaker 19: primary residence or you buying investment properties, Black and brown
- 2:02:35Speaker 19: people need to buy real estate. We don't need to
- 2:02:37Speaker 19: really pay attention to the fear mongering. We need to
- 2:02:40Speaker 19: stay the course and stay focused on our mission. Our
- 2:02:43Speaker 19: wealth is disappearing in front of our eyes. And if
- 2:02:46Speaker 19: we have everybody who's watching this right now, we have
- 2:02:49Speaker 19: the opportunity to change the generational DNA of our entire community.
- 2:02:56Speaker 19: And real estate is a big play on that. Let's
- 2:02:58Speaker 19: not get it twisted. No real estate gets treated like
- 2:03:01Speaker 19: the step child when it comes to cryptrow and stocks
- 2:03:03Speaker 19: and everything that's out there. But let's not forget how
- 2:03:06Speaker 19: important real estate is because you can't go outside without
- 2:03:10Speaker 19: seeing real estate period.
- 2:03:14Speaker 4: Period with a T with a T yep. Very important.
- 2:03:21Speaker 4: Uh well, MG, always a pleasure. My brother.
- 2:03:26Speaker 19: Just set me the picture to another one. Yo, y'all,
- 2:03:34Speaker 19: dude's on fire, yo, Yo. Market mondays this Sunday Madison
- 2:03:40Speaker 19: Square Garden. If you are not in the building with
- 2:03:43Speaker 19: these two gentlemen and the master investor.
- 2:03:46Speaker 2: You know what, hold on?
- 2:03:48Speaker 19: I want to give away two tickets because I brought
- 2:03:50Speaker 19: a couple of tickets myself.
- 2:03:52Speaker 2: Let's do a rifle.

- 2:07:11Speaker 19: it's hard work. But I'm super proud of everybody and

- 2:07:28Speaker 19: new EYL University powered by Recession Proof.
- 2:07:33Speaker 3: Let's do it so before we leave, just to remind
- 2:07:35Speaker 3: you guys to join the waiting list texts learn to
- 2:07:40Speaker 3: four oh one two three eight seven four seven nine.
- 2:07:45Speaker 3: The relaunch of EYL University will be dropping on Friday.
- 2:07:50Speaker 3: It is a merger with Recession Proof. We have added
- 2:07:55Speaker 3: nineteen courses which include all of MG the Mortgage God courses,
- 2:08:00Speaker 3: which includes Hermann's Business Credit Course which includes dance Business
- 2:08:05Speaker 3: Course and a variety of other course. We got options course,
- 2:08:09Speaker 3: We got a variety of different courses that will be
- 2:08:11Speaker 3: added into the curriculum. Chapters twenty seven chapters physical like
- 2:08:16Speaker 3: chapters across the country. Interactive classes will be taking place
- 2:08:23Speaker 3: events and as I said, the event thing is actually
- 2:08:27Speaker 3: a really valuable situation because you know, that was part
- 2:08:31Speaker 3: of the thing that really inspired a lot of the
- 2:08:33Speaker 3: events that we do. So the events, exclusive events just
- 2:08:37Speaker 3: for members, and you know, we just wanted to relaunch it.
- 2:08:39Speaker 3: We had Eyo University for about two and a half
- 2:08:43Speaker 3: three years and you know, we achieved a tremendous amount
- 2:08:47Speaker 3: of success. But like I said, you know, being the
- 2:08:51Speaker 3: space that we're in, we'll always have to try to
- 2:08:54Speaker 3: do something bigger and think in the future and think ahead.
- 2:08:59Speaker 3: And that's the only way you can really be successful
- 2:09:01Speaker 3: in this world is to never become complacent and never
- 2:09:04Speaker 3: become stagnant. And that was why we felt like, you know,
- 2:09:09Speaker 3: the merger made sense and this is where we're at.
- 2:09:15Speaker 3: It's gonna be something that I don't think anybody in
- 2:09:18Speaker 3: the space. I don't see how anybody in the space
- 2:09:22Speaker 3: can really. You know, I don't know how they what
- 2:09:26Speaker 3: happens with this situation, be honest with you, but it's
- 2:09:30Speaker 3: gonna be a situation that's gonna you know, really be
- 2:09:33Speaker 3: big man.
- 2:09:34Speaker 2: You're a waitness in a dynasty like no other.
- 2:09:37Speaker 4: The line has been droven big as the sun.
- 2:09:39Speaker 3: So text that number and yeah, we're gonna drop it
