- 0:34Speaker 2: you guys something from my bag. You may. I haven't
- 0:37Speaker 2: looked up how much this is worth, but dorm dudes
- 0:42Speaker 2: will be on later and it finally came in the
- 0:44Speaker 2: mill that want to hit with them. This is a
- 0:46Speaker 2: Josh Allen rated rookie. Wow, you may look it up.
- 0:51Speaker 2: It's a twenty eighteen Panini Donris Josh Allen. It's a
- 0:56Speaker 2: gym meant condition number ten ten. That is a ten
- 0:59Speaker 2: rate ten. Yeah, so I don't know what it's going for,
- 1:03Speaker 2: but if he's good and gets better, I'll go for more.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I mean, that's the best of the best. Number three
- 1:07Speaker 2: oh four. So twenty eighteen Panini, Donris Josh Allen rated
- 1:12Speaker 2: rookie wow. And I'm sure it's not thousands. I mean
- 1:15Speaker 2: it's probably like I'm guessing four or five hundred bucks.
- 1:17Speaker 4: So then yeah, eBay, right here says five to eighty.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Okay, that's pretty good. Right, that's really good. That's the
- 1:23Speaker 2: same one that rated ten though it's a rate of
- 1:25Speaker 2: ten's Is that one ten?
- 1:27Speaker 1: There?
- 1:28Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:29Speaker 5: Right here?
- 1:29Speaker 2: Right of ten?
- 1:30Speaker 4: So g e m mt and then ten underneath?
- 1:32Speaker 6: Yeah, yep.
- 1:33Speaker 2: So this Josh Allen number three oh four twenty eighteen,
- 1:39Speaker 2: ready to rookie boom? You won that on a break?
- 1:42Speaker 2: Oh man, that's awesome. That's really cool.
- 1:45Speaker 7: It's awesome.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Day.
- 1:46Speaker 4: There's another one on here for seventeen hundred bucks?
- 1:48Speaker 2: Is it this one thow here?
- 1:51Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:51Speaker 8: I mean the way that works is they throw up. Hey,
- 1:52Speaker 8: let's see if someone bites at two grand.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Well, there's always kind of a market, though there's not
- 1:57Speaker 2: a lot of biting.
- 1:58Speaker 8: I think the average get it is probably around four
- 2:01Speaker 8: fifty five hundred.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Did you see them? Is that why?
- 2:03Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 2:03Speaker 2: I saw him on Kevin's.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Screen Kim Kardashians selling it.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Did Yeah, Mike, I may let you look at it.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I mean, let me scan it. Yeah, he'll and I'm
- 2:15Speaker 2: sure it's about five I mean that's all. If its
- 2:16Speaker 2: five hundred bucks, that's a win.
- 2:18Speaker 8: So he's got the app where you can scan it
- 2:19Speaker 8: and no, no, it's Google's Google.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Do you have an app? It's Google? Is it Google? Yeah?
- 2:26Speaker 2: That's the app. Oh you just it has like a
- 2:27Speaker 2: little camera box on it and you put whatever it
- 2:29Speaker 2: is to it and it scans and finds it. I
- 2:31Speaker 2: have never heard of that. It showed you in the commercial.
- 2:33Speaker 4: I thought that was only on their phone, like the
- 2:34Speaker 4: Google phone. It's an app, it is a Google phone.
- 2:38Speaker 9: It's first searching.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Enough people to have a commercial for it.
- 2:41Speaker 2: That's a good point, because they do have commercials on that. Yeah,
- 2:43Speaker 2: just pick one of them. I don't see.
- 2:47Speaker 5: Just pick the one.
- 2:49Speaker 2: You can't pick the highest one because that's someone we're
- 2:50Speaker 2: trying to. Here's one that's sold for three hundred bucks.
- 2:55Speaker 2: That's a nine point five, So I'm telling you four
- 2:58Speaker 2: hundred five hundred. I'll take it. Aw, that's that one.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Let me hang on to that. Nope, just in case.
- 3:08Speaker 2: And you may be wondering, why are you doing a
- 3:09Speaker 2: show the day after he did a show? I wasn't
- 3:11Speaker 2: wondering that you weren't well because there was so much
- 3:13Speaker 2: that happened yesterday. M hm ye wait too much in
- 3:17Speaker 2: the NFL. And I have another thing. I don't know
- 3:18Speaker 2: much about soccer, but this is some.
- 3:21Speaker 5: Guy.
- 3:22Speaker 2: It's autographed. His name is and there's a jersey, one
- 3:25Speaker 2: of his jersey pieces. I don't know, Brazilian fobin Hoe,
- 3:30Speaker 2: Fabio fobin Ho. He's a Brazilian soccer player. I know.
- 3:33Speaker 2: I'm just gonna put this in it. And you're you're
- 3:36Speaker 2: winning those in breaks too. I think may be in
- 3:38Speaker 2: the same break. I'm not sure, but I don't know
- 3:41Speaker 2: anything about soccer. And they're like wow, and I'm like,
- 3:44Speaker 2: I don't know. It's like telling me that band bts
- 3:48Speaker 2: K Pop this is their best song, and I'm like,
- 3:50Speaker 2: I don't know. I saw like some.
- 3:53Speaker 8: TikTok where these guys are showing like these two cards
- 3:55Speaker 8: and like, man, I remember when middle school and we
- 3:57Speaker 8: thought we're gonna be millionaires because we had this card
- 4:00Speaker 8: was like Harold Minor or something.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Oh yeah, ricking cars, and we were like there was
- 4:05Speaker 2: so much money the thing too. Before we get to
- 4:07Speaker 2: the free agency, I opened up one of those random
- 4:11Speaker 2: packs that dorm dudes send if you lose, because they
- 4:14Speaker 2: send everybody something, so it's not nobody gets nothing. It's
- 4:17Speaker 2: not full gamble. And so I opened up a couple
- 4:20Speaker 2: of the packs. Usually I just give the packs to
- 4:21Speaker 2: Eddie straight up, don't even open them. Yeah, and I
- 4:22Speaker 2: give him my kids straight up, don't even open them.
- 4:24Speaker 2: And so I opened one of the packs and it
- 4:27Speaker 2: was a Patrick mahomes Kan City Chiefs Prism two thousand
- 4:32Speaker 2: and one something something something, And I was like, wait,
- 4:35Speaker 2: I should look this up and see how much it
- 4:36Speaker 2: was worth. It's worth like one hundred and thirty bucks
- 4:39Speaker 2: just in the package that and then open up another
- 4:41Speaker 2: one is a Joe Burrow Cincinnati Bengals prism last sold
- 4:47Speaker 2: for eighty dollars just in the little pack they sent.
- 4:52Speaker 2: And then I sent Eddie this one of Zach Wilson
- 4:53Speaker 2: and said how much. Oh that's funny. Yeah, he said,
- 4:57Speaker 2: I'd sell it to you for a hundred Yeah, I said,
- 4:58Speaker 2: I give two hundred bucks. So just in those packs,
- 5:03Speaker 2: I got very fortunate. I save those two because we're
- 5:05Speaker 2: gonna send them off and get them rated. You are, well,
- 5:07Speaker 2: We're gonna send off some shoes I have Lebron shoes
- 5:10Speaker 2: and Kti's shoes signed shoes. Yeah, I don't and I
- 5:12Speaker 2: don't have the authenticity page. I got them at a
- 5:18Speaker 2: charity auction. And so the company that we're going to
- 5:22Speaker 2: use they do shoes, and so we're gonna send the
- 5:24Speaker 2: shoes and some cards and stuff. Can we throw in
- 5:27Speaker 2: an item?
- 5:29Speaker 9: I want to put in my Tony shoes to piggyback.
- 5:32Speaker 2: I'd like to throw in an item. What is it?
- 5:35Speaker 2: What did they say? Do we have a relationship? Like, hey,
- 5:38Speaker 2: not yet? No, got it?
- 5:39Speaker 4: But we can go through them, but just a normal process.
- 5:43Speaker 4: But we're trying to.
- 5:43Speaker 2: So there is no like friendship process. You have to
- 5:47Speaker 2: pay straight up or it's not even the paying I
- 5:49Speaker 2: care about. I don't want to be gone for a month.
- 5:50Speaker 2: How long? How long is this stuff gone?
- 5:53Speaker 4: It doesn't say, well, I don't know specifics on that.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Can you find out? I know if comics and cards
- 6:00Speaker 2: are gonna be up to two months? Yeah, that's the problems,
- 6:03Speaker 2: like time.
- 6:03Speaker 8: What are you trying to send off a Joe Montana
- 6:05Speaker 8: autograph picture that I've had since I was in middle school.
- 6:10Speaker 2: But I don't think that's worth anything.
- 6:12Speaker 8: Well, you don't know that and if it is to
- 6:14Speaker 8: get a graded boom, we got thousands of dollars on
- 6:17Speaker 8: her in her hands.
- 6:17Speaker 9: You can probably find that on Google.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I think a just a Joe Montana audi because
- 6:22Speaker 2: the picture is probably the thing you want autograph the least, right,
- 6:24Speaker 2: unless it's a you two together. Oh it's not us
- 6:26Speaker 2: two together autograph. It's him with the Chiefs too. It's
- 6:29Speaker 2: in the forty nine ers. So Joe Montana autograph picture,
- 6:33Speaker 2: here's one. It's a Joe Montana Jerry Rice signed autograph,
- 6:35Speaker 2: forty nine ers, eight by ten. You get it for
- 6:37Speaker 2: nine dollars and thirty six cents. M Really, here's a
- 6:40Speaker 2: Joe Montana autograph legend picture. It's basically one hundred bucks.
- 6:44Speaker 4: And that's something you really don't have to get graded.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, it's just yeah, forget it. Then I'm out.
- 6:50Speaker 2: It's all I got. I got nothing else. I have
- 6:54Speaker 2: not been able to log in on tiktoks, have been
- 6:56Speaker 2: locked out, and then we find out why the dorm dude,
- 6:58Speaker 2: I had too much stuff ordered and they won't let
- 6:59Speaker 2: you order more stuff whenever you're Q was backed up
- 7:02Speaker 2: of stuff ordered. So now you can't even get on
- 7:04Speaker 2: tekee well, so now you got a TikTok. I just
- 7:06Speaker 2: can't play the game. I can't do breaks. And I
- 7:08Speaker 2: really wasn't looking to do breaks really, but Red hit
- 7:11Speaker 2: me up and said he's like, hey, you want to breaks?
- 7:13Speaker 2: And I was like, I can't, and he was like,
- 7:16Speaker 2: what are you done doing them? I said no, I mean.
- 7:20Speaker 7: But I was.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I was like, no, I mean I'll do I said,
- 7:22Speaker 2: are you doing them?
- 7:23Speaker 6: Is? Yeah?
- 7:23Speaker 2: I said, okay, well grab me the NFC East or
- 7:26Speaker 2: grab me the NFC. I'll just need venmo. So we
- 7:28Speaker 2: did them. Why can't he do it?
- 7:29Speaker 5: Though?
- 7:29Speaker 2: He did? Okay? So he ran on his own. He
- 7:31Speaker 2: ran his account and there are eight divisions and we
- 7:34Speaker 2: bought four of the eight. I had three and he
- 7:36Speaker 2: had one and we lost. Is under Read's name. We lost,
- 7:40Speaker 2: so then we did it again. Then we lost. We
- 7:44Speaker 2: had five on that's because he doesn't have the Bobby bones. Look,
- 7:47Speaker 2: we had five out of eight and lost. Yeah, that's crazy, dudes.
- 7:50Speaker 3: But yeah, it was only because they only like they
- 7:52Speaker 3: had seven or eight jerseys left and the guy said
- 7:55Speaker 3: that he needed to fill like two authentic jerseys.
- 7:59Speaker 9: So two of it out of the eight were authentic, and.
- 8:01Speaker 2: They were the two ended up being Grinkowski and I
- 8:04Speaker 2: thought Read had the AFC East, which he did. I
- 8:06Speaker 2: thought it was a Patriots jersey. It came out red,
- 8:08Speaker 2: but it was a Bucks, Read, so we didn't hit
- 8:10Speaker 2: that one. And the other one was a and Andrew
- 8:13Speaker 2: Luck authentic Colts, and neither one of us had the
- 8:16Speaker 2: a f C. We're NFC South, both South Colts cults
- 8:21Speaker 2: are AFC.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what NFC and AFC South, right, Yes, the
- 8:25Speaker 4: Bucks and yes.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Both South?
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yes, So all right, Well Read went over buddy, and
- 8:30Speaker 2: I wasn't doing any more breaks. Now I did breaks. No,
- 8:33Speaker 2: I'm not back in the kid. They won't let me.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Did you get Read the his clue number? No? What
- 8:40Speaker 2: do you need?
- 8:41Speaker 9: I need to get that man?
- 8:42Speaker 2: What both both of you?
- 8:43Speaker 5: Two?
- 8:43Speaker 2: By the way, who you and Reid? What about? You've
- 8:47Speaker 2: both been weird where yesterday on the podcast, Eddie's like, hey, man, no,
- 8:52Speaker 2: I won't say it here, I'll just kidd and yeah,
- 8:54Speaker 2: it turns out you want to know what it was
- 8:55Speaker 2: we were working out yesterday and he's like, they get
- 8:58Speaker 2: tickets to the Arkansas SEC Tournament. I was well read
- 9:04Speaker 2: on Read's show. I was already taken Eddie and he goes,
- 9:07Speaker 2: I need tickets for the whole family. Well, he's got
- 9:09Speaker 2: like Swiss family, Robinson, it's like forty people. Yeah, six
- 9:11Speaker 2: of it.
- 9:12Speaker 8: And when I went to the website like of the venue,
- 9:15Speaker 8: and they're like, you can do a party with six people.
- 9:17Speaker 8: So it's like I can get a dis kind of group,
- 9:19Speaker 8: like if I was taking a bachelor up party with me.
- 9:21Speaker 2: And I told Eddie, I said, I don't think it's
- 9:23Speaker 2: gonna be hard to get tickets on day one because
- 9:24Speaker 2: it's the four worst teams in Arkansas's and that four
- 9:26Speaker 2: worst teams like just to get tickets. And I was like,
- 9:29Speaker 2: but if you want to go with me, you can,
- 9:31Speaker 2: but I can't. I don't have six tickets because we
- 9:33Speaker 2: sit with the.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Team, you know, right behind, Yeah, like we did last year.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yes.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:37Speaker 2: And so then Eddie messaged me and you got six tickets.
- 9:39Speaker 8: I got six tickets, dude, for seventy five cents apart.
- 9:43Speaker 4: It was awesome, but he like calling his family from
- 9:46Speaker 4: Texas come on.
- 9:48Speaker 8: And I felt so embarrassedcause I had already called like
- 9:49Speaker 8: a couple of people that I knew that had like suits,
- 9:52Speaker 8: and I'm like, hey, man, are you guys gonna use
- 9:53Speaker 8: the suite for oh Man, and they're like, dude, you
- 9:57Speaker 8: can go online. There's seventy five cents a ticket because
- 9:59Speaker 8: it's all general admission for the first night of the CEC.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Tournament the worst four teams still though.
- 10:04Speaker 8: I mean, my and my kids have been wanting to
- 10:06Speaker 8: go to an Arkansas game for so long, so I
- 10:08Speaker 8: bought the tickets for seventy five cents.
- 10:10Speaker 2: But what's crazy is.
- 10:14Speaker 8: After I did all my research on it being general admission,
- 10:17Speaker 8: there were some websites trying to sell seated tickets for
- 10:19Speaker 8: one hundred and fifty.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Bucks for that game. But you still can buy seated
- 10:22Speaker 2: tickets no down below in the lower bowl.
- 10:24Speaker 8: If they are the seats that you're in, Like, there's
- 10:27Speaker 8: I think five rows behind the teams that are reserved
- 10:30Speaker 8: for teams. Other than that, the whole arena is general admission.
- 10:33Speaker 8: So bones if I get there an hour early, dude,
- 10:36Speaker 8: I might be sitting next to you.
- 10:37Speaker 2: You won't be sitting next to me, but you could
- 10:38Speaker 2: be sitting like court side on the other side. Okay,
- 10:42Speaker 2: I hope you get courts.
- 10:43Speaker 8: I might take the kids with me tonight and camp out.
- 10:48Speaker 8: You come to work and you leave them there, Joys,
- 10:50Speaker 8: I'll be back and forth.
- 10:51Speaker 2: It's kind of weird about He's like, I don't want
- 10:53Speaker 2: to say it. So he brought it up yestually working
- 10:55Speaker 2: out and today right before we went on, reads like,
- 10:57Speaker 2: I want to make a proposition to you after whish
- 11:01Speaker 2: and I so well, he goes, at the end of whistles,
- 11:03Speaker 2: I want to make a proposition. Okay, you said it
- 11:06Speaker 2: like that. Okay, do you want to do it at
- 11:09Speaker 2: the end of whistles or after whistles?
- 11:11Speaker 9: I mean we could do it whenever. It's whatever you want, man, Okay, whatever.
- 11:16Speaker 2: You want and the whistles, we'll do it. I'm read, okay,
- 11:22Speaker 2: So what are we gonna do at the end of whistles?
- 11:24Speaker 2: Coming up a little bit dorm dudes that I go
- 11:27Speaker 2: and do all the breaks with from TikTok and studio.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Then we go to our talk with Florida State men's
- 11:32Speaker 2: basketball coach Leonard Hamilton and two guards, Darren Green Junior
- 11:35Speaker 2: and Tom House. But the reason that we are here
- 11:37Speaker 2: for the most part, I thought we had to come
- 11:38Speaker 2: on and talk about all the big moves yesterday in
- 11:40Speaker 2: the NFL, especially because when we went off there were
- 11:43Speaker 2: no moves and then as soon as we went off,
- 11:45Speaker 2: it was like bam, bam bam. So let's start running
- 11:47Speaker 2: backs first. Former Packers running back Aaron Jones signed a
- 11:50Speaker 2: one year deal with the Vikings. Pretty cool. One year
- 11:53Speaker 2: deals are of music. Yeah, this is this is called
- 11:55Speaker 2: free agent music. Nice and Aaron Jones is good. Yeah,
- 12:00Speaker 2: one year deal though, I think we're also seeing that
- 12:03Speaker 2: turned back to running backs mattering a little bit more right, trendy.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Yeah, it's kind of. It's weird how how many signed
- 12:09Speaker 4: yesterday or made new deals, traded whatever.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Austin Eckler signed a two year old Washington. I thought
- 12:14Speaker 2: he's coming to the Cowboys. The thing about Eckler, I
- 12:16Speaker 2: think he's getting a little older too.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Have you seen that film on him? He didn't look
- 12:19Speaker 4: very fast.
- 12:21Speaker 2: And the think about Eckler too great pass catcher, Yeah,
- 12:24Speaker 2: and that's what he did in San Diego and Fantasy
- 12:26Speaker 2: Beast too. Because if you're in a PPR league, Brian
- 12:31Speaker 2: Robinson juniors in Washington, he's good. So I wonder who's
- 12:34Speaker 2: going to be the one there? Do you think it's
- 12:35Speaker 2: still Robinson? And Eckler is like a third down kind
- 12:39Speaker 2: of guy maybe? Yeah, because they lost. What's the name
- 12:42Speaker 2: of the Patriots, which guy Antonio Gibson. Oh yeah, and
- 12:47Speaker 2: he's our past catcher. Guy Josh Jacobs signed a four
- 12:50Speaker 2: year year deal with the Packers, which Josh Jacobs is legit. Yeah,
- 12:53Speaker 2: he just wasn't so legit because he played on the Raiders.
- 12:56Speaker 2: That's why he wasn't producing.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Yeah, he'll be Yeah, that's surprising too.
- 13:01Speaker 2: That should be good. Yeah. Yeah. Barkley signs a three
- 13:03Speaker 2: year deal with Eagles.
- 13:04Speaker 7: It made some money.
- 13:05Speaker 2: It's over. What is the Eagles? I mean the NFC East.
- 13:08Speaker 2: It's over. I mean the Eagles are going to dominate.
- 13:10Speaker 2: It could be so good. He has been injured a
- 13:12Speaker 2: lot in his career, although not the last two years
- 13:15Speaker 2: because he's both playing for a contract. Yeah, but he
- 13:18Speaker 2: signed a financially a really good deal. And then I
- 13:20Speaker 2: saw where maybe Tiki Barber was. Yeah, it was like
- 13:24Speaker 2: you're dead to us, and he's like, bro, what do
- 13:26Speaker 2: you want me to do? I got played in one
- 13:28Speaker 2: year deals with the last two. I mean, yeah, you're
- 13:29Speaker 2: kind of stupid. It's say that was because it's business.
- 13:32Speaker 2: If anybody knows that, it's other players, right. Tony Pollard
- 13:36Speaker 2: signs a three year deal with the Titans coming here
- 13:38Speaker 2: to be kind of that number one and a half back,
- 13:43Speaker 2: not the one, but more than a number two. If
- 13:46Speaker 2: Henry leaves, he will.
- 13:47Speaker 8: Henry's winning, you will, so he should be there one
- 13:50Speaker 8: no spirit be number one back?
- 13:51Speaker 1: Really?
- 13:51Speaker 2: Yeah? Okay, I think Pollard is too. I think we
- 13:56Speaker 2: saw even with the Cowboys, shouldn't be a number one
- 14:00Speaker 2: enough to have to be durable.
- 14:02Speaker 6: We saw him, We.
- 14:04Speaker 8: Saw him in person. He was giant, ginormous in person,
- 14:07Speaker 8: and I was shocked.
- 14:08Speaker 2: But compared to the other people.
- 14:10Speaker 8: Yeah, but but we saw Zeke in person too, and
- 14:13Speaker 8: I mean that kind of just looked normal. He's stocky,
- 14:16Speaker 8: but he's not as big as Tony Pollard. Was shocked
- 14:18Speaker 8: by that.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Mike, would you get I think these guys are seeing
- 14:22Speaker 2: weird things.
- 14:22Speaker 4: Bro were Well, I didn't see. I didn't go with
- 14:25Speaker 4: you guys when you went and saw the heights and weights.
- 14:27Speaker 4: I saw Tony Pollard in person.
- 14:29Speaker 2: I see on TV it is not that big. He
- 14:33Speaker 2: doesn't look like on TV he doesn't, but.
- 14:36Speaker 4: In person, we saw him next to Michael Parsons.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, Michael Parsons, here we go. They're basically the
- 14:42Speaker 2: same boat six foot Tony Poller's two O nine zeke
- 14:45Speaker 2: is two twenty five. Ohms, Okay, there's an extra twelve thirty.
- 14:48Speaker 2: And that's why I said a little more husky. But
- 14:49Speaker 2: he's got a big The husky is a big part
- 14:51Speaker 2: of it. But it's not height when you're running back.
- 14:54Speaker 2: But I mean, he wasn't scrawny. On TV.
- 14:57Speaker 8: Nobody think Tony Pollard looks shorter and fast. Maybe because
- 15:01Speaker 8: he's so fast.
- 15:02Speaker 7: No, they are not.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Taller than six foot.
- 15:04Speaker 5: Didn't he did?
- 15:05Speaker 1: Man?
- 15:05Speaker 4: I mean he had a helmet on.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I guess. DeAndre Swift technically signed a three year deal
- 15:09Speaker 2: with the Bears. The Bears needed running back. You know,
- 15:12Speaker 2: they were doing a running back by committee, basically whomever
- 15:16Speaker 2: wasn't injured. So Swift goes over to the Bears quarterback
- 15:20Speaker 2: side that The big story was Kirk Cousins, the four
- 15:22Speaker 2: year deal with the Falcons, big money, good guy.
- 15:26Speaker 6: What I don't know.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I mean, I've always liked Cousins.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Don't even me wrong. When you really look at it,
- 15:30Speaker 4: you like, dang, he's done really well financially, Yeah, and
- 15:33Speaker 4: nothing to really prove for it.
- 15:35Speaker 2: If through he makes it all four years of this deal,
- 15:38Speaker 2: he'll have made almost a half a billion dollars five
- 15:40Speaker 2: hundred million one playoff win. Sam Darnold a one year
- 15:44Speaker 2: de old Minnesota. Is that to be a gap quarterback?
- 15:47Speaker 2: Is that? Are they still going to possibly trade for
- 15:49Speaker 2: somebody else? Don't I don't know the answer to that.
- 15:52Speaker 2: They don't have a quarterback? Is it just in case
- 15:54Speaker 2: they don't get somebody else. It's not like they have
- 15:55Speaker 2: a high draft pick either.
- 15:57Speaker 1: So.
- 15:59Speaker 2: I don't don't know that Darnold, even in their mind,
- 16:02Speaker 2: is a solution. But if they're gonna pay Justin Jefferson
- 16:05Speaker 2: all the money, which they should, somebody's gotta get on
- 16:09Speaker 2: the ball. And he also has a window of how
- 16:11Speaker 2: many years he can be great, So that's an interesting Yeah. No,
- 16:16Speaker 2: what are they interesting signing?
- 16:17Speaker 4: I know, it's almost like an insurance, like he's out there,
- 16:19Speaker 4: let's grab him right now.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Yeah, Jacoby with the Patriots, let's go. But he'll be
- 16:24Speaker 2: a backup to probably to whomever they drive the draft.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Yeah, or they'll battle it out in camp and Jacobe
- 16:30Speaker 4: starts week.
- 16:33Speaker 2: That's also fine. Yeah, I mean that bringing him in
- 16:36Speaker 2: to be the guy that helps their next guy knowledge.
- 16:38Speaker 2: But doesn't that tell you a bit as a Patriots
- 16:40Speaker 2: fan that they're probably not gonna draft Marvin Harrison Junior. Now, yeah,
- 16:43Speaker 2: like that solidifies what they're not gonna do because you
- 16:47Speaker 2: thought possibly they could get Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Especially if they go out there. Well, as of right now,
- 16:53Speaker 4: they're supposed to be strong getters for Calvin Ridley. Maybe so,
- 16:57Speaker 4: especially if they go out and get him. They brought
- 16:59Speaker 4: back Kendrick bul.
- 17:00Speaker 2: They may have good receivers now that Belichick's gone them
- 17:02Speaker 2: all of a sudden, they're picking up good receivers.
- 17:05Speaker 4: They're all not white, but I will say all the
- 17:06Speaker 4: guys they re signed are Belichick guys.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Like I know, other than Randy Moss. It's like a
- 17:11Speaker 2: bunch of white guys are across the middle. Yeah, I know what.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Yeah the documentary they're all white guys. Yeah, that's the documentary.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Gardner Minshew a two year deal with the Raiders Let's Go,
- 17:21Speaker 2: which is cool for him, especially because I expected they
- 17:24Speaker 2: expect him to play. However, there's now talking about Justin
- 17:26Speaker 2: Field's may be ending up with the Raiders. If that's
- 17:29Speaker 2: the case, Fields is probably the guy. But if not,
- 17:33Speaker 2: Gardner Mitche is a good gay. I mean, the Pro
- 17:35Speaker 2: Bowl also, you know that's the Pro Bowl. Yeah, but
- 17:38Speaker 2: good for Gardner Minshew.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Yeah, even though it's solid backup, he'd be a good backup.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Gabe Davis signed a three year deal with the Jaguars
- 17:44Speaker 2: wide receiver Michael Pittman Junior, staying with the Colts for
- 17:47Speaker 2: three years. Kendrick Bourne signed a three year deals day with
- 17:50Speaker 2: the Patriots. How do you feel about that?
- 17:51Speaker 6: I like him?
- 17:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean he's coming off an ACL that's what sucks.
- 17:54Speaker 2: But he's a favorite, aren't they all? Yeah? I mean
- 17:57Speaker 2: I coming off from yesterday, why working out? I jumped
- 18:02Speaker 2: up on the stairs, wiped out. Then we're running regular stairs,
- 18:05Speaker 2: regular stairs. Yeah, oh yeah, well I just like, I
- 18:08Speaker 2: mean slipped and and then we were running sprints on
- 18:11Speaker 2: the treadmill and you run and then you jump off.
- 18:14Speaker 2: You have to like put your breathe on the sides.
- 18:17Speaker 2: He brings you that when I own stairs. But I
- 18:23Speaker 2: like fell off the side of the treadmill too. I
- 18:25Speaker 2: don't know if I'm also coming off a cl He
- 18:28Speaker 2: worried me. It was like, oh no, yeah, yeah, I
- 18:31Speaker 2: sucked it up though.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, yeah, I show up, I get it.
- 18:35Speaker 2: I show up, I show out whatez what that mean?
- 18:39Speaker 2: Defensive line? On defense, just in general. Lenn Williams SIGs
- 18:41Speaker 2: the three ADU old Seahawks Brian Burns the trade at
- 18:44Speaker 2: the Giants, and I thought that Panthers didn't get much.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I mean they got a third round pick.
- 18:48Speaker 4: I think same.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Was it a third or a second another trade they made?
- 18:53Speaker 2: Then I must be thinking about the McCaffrey trade. No,
- 18:56Speaker 2: I bet there was a third. I don't know. You
- 18:57Speaker 2: tell me, but either way, I thought, Wow, Brian Burns
- 18:59Speaker 2: is awesome. We saw him at campus last year. I
- 19:01Speaker 2: mean he's probably the top three defensive end. And not
- 19:05Speaker 2: only that. It's like what the bather get? Not much?
- 19:11Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a second round pick, but did you
- 19:13Speaker 4: see last year? I can't remember who was offered him
- 19:17Speaker 4: two first rounders and they and they just got a
- 19:19Speaker 4: second rounder.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Dang Murphy Bonning Bucks lines it does a trade cares
- 19:26Speaker 2: Christian Wilkins from Miami signs a deal with the Raiders.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Chris Jones. This is a big one. They were wonder
- 19:31Speaker 2: what was gonna happen with him sign a five year
- 19:32Speaker 2: extension with the Chiefs. Chris Jones probably the best the
- 19:36Speaker 2: man defensive lineman, top two or three or at least
- 19:39Speaker 2: like an interior and.
- 19:41Speaker 4: He's there, Pat Mahomes of their defense.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yeah easy, I'm just saying, when to go on the
- 19:46Speaker 2: Hall of Fame right now he's there, wouldn't go. He's
- 19:50Speaker 2: not the he could be the leader, the best player
- 19:52Speaker 2: on there. He just have the Pat Mahomes of their defense.
- 19:54Speaker 2: He's the anchor of their defense and anchors. Fine, but
- 19:57Speaker 2: the Pat Mahomes is different than just the best player
- 19:59Speaker 2: on a team. He's the best player in all of football.
- 20:02Speaker 2: But he's saying, like now the chief organization what he's saying,
- 20:05Speaker 2: But he's saying it like it's stupid what he's saying.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Shut up.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Like Devin mccordy was the defense of Tom Brady, but
- 20:11Speaker 4: he was no Tom Brady.
- 20:12Speaker 2: He's not held that together. He was the guy. He
- 20:16Speaker 2: was the guy, the leader of the defense, just like
- 20:19Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes is the leader of the defense. Fine, but
- 20:20Speaker 2: he's not the Patrick Mahomes of the defense. There is
- 20:23Speaker 2: not another Patrick Mahomes of offense or defense anywhere in
- 20:25Speaker 2: the icy both sides. He's the absolute best. He's a pinnacle.
- 20:29Speaker 4: I didn't know that was going to trigger you like
- 20:30Speaker 4: that because.
- 20:31Speaker 2: He's stupid, but yeah, a big day, big day yesterday.
- 20:37Speaker 2: I thought that was enough to come back on. Here
- 20:39Speaker 2: twenty five whistles presented by DraftKings Sports Book, an official
- 20:42Speaker 2: sports betting partner of the NFL. Download the DraftKings app
- 20:45Speaker 2: and used the code Bobby sports to get in on
- 20:46Speaker 2: the action. You knuckleheads one oh for three in the

- 20:55Speaker 2: can get at least one. I'm gonna go Bucks money
- 21:02Speaker 2: line at the Kings. I want to go Thunder minus
- 21:12Speaker 2: six and a half in Oklahoma City versus the Pacers.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Our pacers are our pacers. Yeah, I'm a Thunder fan though,
- 21:22Speaker 2: yeah we're Pacers, I am. I'm also a Pacer, span
- 21:25Speaker 2: I'm a Thunder fan.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Those shorts that they gave us, I cannot say.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they give us like the NBA stuff.
- 21:31Speaker 4: They have, like the mouth piece holder inside and.
- 21:32Speaker 2: The Thunder wouldn't even let us come. Wait, that's what
- 21:34Speaker 2: that little pocket is.
- 21:36Speaker 6: I think.
- 21:36Speaker 2: So that's cool. Oh I'm putting in there, can pots, POGs,
- 21:43Speaker 2: POGs circle, thanks, you Bounce collectibles. And then finally I'll take.
- 21:54Speaker 6: Man.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I don't know they've changed the rolls in the NBA
- 21:56Speaker 2: that the defensive roles since All Star Break, which these
- 22:00Speaker 2: guys aren't scoring a ton of point anymore because the
- 22:01Speaker 2: rest of Lettinum play physical. And I think it's because
- 22:04Speaker 2: of all those seventy point games, sixty point games, sixty
- 22:07Speaker 2: point game, and it was already out of control. So
- 22:09Speaker 2: some of these lines are kind of I'm gonna go.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I'm just gonna go Celtic's money line at Jazz Celtics
- 22:15Speaker 2: and Celtics and Bucks money line and Thunder minus six
- 22:19Speaker 2: and a half in Oklahoma City versus the Pacers. Oh yeah,
- 22:23Speaker 2: bank that bank it into your smile book to the bank,

- 22:44Speaker 2: four six seven three six ' nine. Okay, got a
- 22:49Speaker 2: big one here. Because the dorm dudes. Yeah, in studio,
- 22:56Speaker 2: you know what they look like? Did they show their
- 22:58Speaker 2: faces on their brakes? Yes, they do a little circle
- 23:01Speaker 2: and you see their face. But we need their names,
- 23:03Speaker 2: and I tell them this, why what do they look like?
- 23:05Speaker 2: What do you mean? No? I've seen some breaks where
- 23:07Speaker 2: they like what they look like. Oh I knew what
- 23:10Speaker 2: they looked like, but I didn't know which one.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Was which I thought you were going to like compare
- 23:14Speaker 4: them too.
- 23:15Speaker 2: They look like no, no, no, no, I don't do that.
- 23:18Speaker 2: They look like the dorm dudes. The guys from TikTok
- 23:21Speaker 2: to host the breaks, the dorm dudes. I mean a
- 23:23Speaker 2: lot of the stuff that I have now my new
- 23:24Speaker 2: fascination reads new fascination are I mean, can't get enough.
- 23:28Speaker 2: It's because the dorm dudes. We talk about how the
- 23:31Speaker 2: whole idea started. Their favorite thing they've unboxed. There's a controversy.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I could stop thinking about it yesterday. I don't want
- 23:35Speaker 2: to say what it is. But when they were like,
- 23:37Speaker 2: we open this certain thing and then we were like,
- 23:39Speaker 2: uh oh oh, yeah, I'd been so pissed if i'd
- 23:42Speaker 2: have been the other one, and I will let you
- 23:45Speaker 2: guys hear it without but if I'd been on the
- 23:47Speaker 2: other side of it, I'd have been so pissed because
- 23:50Speaker 2: that was worth so much money. Yeah, so we talked
- 23:53Speaker 2: about that. A whole bunch more super cool dudes got
- 23:56Speaker 2: here early. Very respectful.
- 23:58Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Usually I think like kids gonna come and take a
- 24:00Speaker 2: dup on the place. I mean you picture a little
- 24:02Speaker 2: punk kids. Yeah. No, they were awesome, and so they've
- 24:05Speaker 2: built this. They're still in college too. You can follow
- 24:07Speaker 2: them on TikTok at dorm Dude's break and follow them
- 24:11Speaker 2: and you can get get in the mix like we do.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Tell Bobby Bone sent you. Yeah, I love it. Yeah. No, literally,
- 24:16Speaker 2: when you get in that line, be like, yeah, that's awesome.
- 24:20Speaker 2: All right here they are dorm dudes. Come on in, guys,
- 24:23Speaker 2: these are your dudes. Good to see you guys. Yeah,
- 24:25Speaker 2: have a seats, put some headphones on, and grab a microphone.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I was gonna check and see if you guys were
- 24:31Speaker 2: online right now. Not YouTube, but yeah, but the TikTok
- 24:37Speaker 2: shop is shut me down. But it's not I'm not
- 24:40Speaker 2: in like God in trouble because I call my bank
- 24:42Speaker 2: and I call my credit card company, and I was like,
- 24:44Speaker 2: why won't it let me play? They're protecting you. It
- 24:47Speaker 2: just has transaction use a different transaction method, Like I
- 24:50Speaker 2: like thirteen transaction methods now none of them work. Are
- 24:52Speaker 2: you guys dealing with some sort of TikTok shop issue?
- 24:54Speaker 10: Well, we have a lot of customers that kind of
- 24:57Speaker 10: experienced the same thing you were, and it has to
- 24:59Speaker 10: do with the p being delivered. So if you order
- 25:01Speaker 10: a bunch of products on like one day and then
- 25:03Speaker 10: oh I do that, I get a lot of yes.
- 25:06Speaker 10: So if you have like fifteen outstanding orders, as soon
- 25:08Speaker 10: as they get delivered, sometimes it'll open up your account again.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Well, let's just see if I can order. Let's see
- 25:11Speaker 2: if I can get in one of these uh, one
- 25:13Speaker 2: of these breaks, by the way, which one of you
- 25:14Speaker 2: is Zach, Hey, Zach, good to see you man, and
- 25:18Speaker 2: then Shane cool. Okay, let's see if I can get on.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I'm Bobby Eddie, So who's breaking right now? Well, let
- 25:24Speaker 2: me see if they're even online. Okay, yeah, because really
- 25:26Speaker 2: if they're not on right, Every once in a while
- 25:29Speaker 2: I'll get in a different one. But I got robbed
- 25:31Speaker 2: once in a different place because I know I got
- 25:34Speaker 2: a black Jamar Chase jersey and they sent me a
- 25:37Speaker 2: custom orange one. Oh you can't do that. Yeah, and
- 25:41Speaker 2: that's and I don't know. I don't know you guys,
- 25:42Speaker 2: like we never met anything. I just was they were
- 25:44Speaker 2: just like the most honest ones. Do you know much
- 25:46Speaker 2: money I spent with you?
- 25:48Speaker 6: A lot?
- 25:49Speaker 9: We appreciate it.
- 25:51Speaker 7: You do have an idea.
- 25:52Speaker 9: We can't actual numbers, But.
- 25:54Speaker 2: What do you think I know how much it is
- 25:55Speaker 2: because I called my account beforehand. How much money do
- 25:58Speaker 2: you think I've spent with you guys? You can say
- 26:01Speaker 2: whatever you think. I'm gonna take a guess. I'd probably
- 26:02Speaker 2: say five. Oh, way more more than five grand Oh yeah, way, way, way,
- 26:07Speaker 2: way more. I'll write it down.
- 26:09Speaker 11: Well, the thing is, I mean you're also breaking with uh,
- 26:10Speaker 11: you know Ellison in Virginia, Zach sometimes.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Yeah, oh you're you guys are all in different places.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Oh yeah, this is how much that I have spent
- 26:19Speaker 2: with just you guys.
- 26:22Speaker 9: Wow?
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yeah, well you made your money back? No, definitely not that. Yeah,
- 26:29Speaker 2: it's a lot more than more than five. But I'm
- 26:31Speaker 2: also doing like a docu series on what is the
- 26:34Speaker 2: world of breaks? Which is I think is so interesting
- 26:36Speaker 2: and there's an entire culture of it, which is why
- 26:38Speaker 2: I set aside a budget before I even at first
- 26:41Speaker 2: I didn't. At first, I was like, this is awesome,
- 26:43Speaker 2: but then I said, and there are so many people,
- 26:45Speaker 2: And I've got like this friend group on TikTok that
- 26:49Speaker 2: just does breaks and we like trade stuff. And since
- 26:52Speaker 2: my back got maxed out of Mike BC Jersey, so
- 26:54Speaker 2: I traded it for something. And so I was like, man,
- 26:57Speaker 2: this culture is so cool, with the memorabilia culture as well.
- 27:00Speaker 2: So I'm we're doing a docu series on it. But
- 27:02Speaker 2: that's how much I've spent. I had that number up
- 27:04Speaker 2: front that I was going to spend and I've spent
- 27:07Speaker 2: all that with you, and I spent a couple other
- 27:08Speaker 2: thousand bucks with other places. So congratulations on your new
- 27:12Speaker 2: car for me. Yeah. So again I'm gonna go see
- 27:19Speaker 2: if they're breaking right now. Unfortunately we're not on right now, oh,
- 27:24Speaker 2: because they're right here.
- 27:25Speaker 12: Yeah, we're dealing with something right now.
- 27:27Speaker 2: But yeah wait, like legal, Yeah, what's going on?
- 27:30Speaker 12: Nothing legal?
- 27:31Speaker 2: But to break they break the wrong thing.
- 27:33Speaker 10: No, So what happens is TikTok has a lot of
- 27:36Speaker 10: AI like monitoring.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Oh, they take you down.
- 27:38Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 27:39Speaker 9: So but we're lucky.
- 27:40Speaker 10: We have some good connections within TikTok and they're working
- 27:42Speaker 10: on getting that fixed right now. I was hoping they'd
- 27:44Speaker 10: have it fixed by the show.
- 27:45Speaker 2: So, okay, we reached out to you guys, which is
- 27:49Speaker 2: how we initially made this relationship. Here is that I
- 27:54Speaker 2: thought it would be fun for us to do like
- 27:56Speaker 2: a couple of boxes and do our own breaks. And
- 27:59Speaker 2: mostly because I was in the series, right, I just
- 28:00Speaker 2: didn't want to say that yet. And you guys are
- 28:02Speaker 2: super cool. Zach are super cool, and you're like, here's
- 28:04Speaker 2: how you do it, And I was like, dang, that's
- 28:06Speaker 2: really cool that Zach would be like, here's how you
- 28:07Speaker 2: do what we do. And then you even said to us,
- 28:10Speaker 2: TikTok doesn't allow gambling, so you have to position it
- 28:13Speaker 2: in a way that it's not gambling. Yes, what can
- 28:15Speaker 2: you say about that? Because it does feel a bit
- 28:17Speaker 2: like gambling. However, everybody gets something at dorm. Dude, look
- 28:19Speaker 2: at all these cards I got? Yeah, perfect? Is that how
- 28:22Speaker 2: you get around it?
- 28:22Speaker 9: Yeah, so everybody has to receive something.
- 28:26Speaker 10: And you know, when I first started this out, some
- 28:28Speaker 10: of the connections we made at TikTok, I didn't.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Have Michael close.
- 28:31Speaker 9: Okay, sorry about that.
- 28:32Speaker 10: And when I first started out, I actually got a
- 28:35Speaker 10: call from one of the guys at TikTok and I
- 28:37Speaker 10: looked over for my girlfriend and I'm like, I'm going
- 28:38Speaker 10: to jail. And they actually told me they have a
- 28:41Speaker 10: bunch of lawyers that have looked into it and stuff
- 28:43Speaker 10: like that, and as long as everybody gets.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Something, so why they shut you down right now?
- 28:48Speaker 6: Then?
- 28:48Speaker 9: So right now?
- 28:49Speaker 10: It was just the AI that picked up on Like,
- 28:51Speaker 10: so the serial number breaks that you bought in on
- 28:53Speaker 10: the cards, Yeah, I love those.
- 28:54Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, I like those a lot too. The leaf
- 28:56Speaker 9: releases are very cool.
- 28:57Speaker 10: But uh so they see the numbers and know they
- 29:00Speaker 10: think instantly that it's a game of chance, but they
- 29:01Speaker 10: don't realize that everybody's getting something. So we just have
- 29:03Speaker 10: to reach out and be like, listen, you know, there's
- 29:06Speaker 10: ten cards in the box, and usually almost everybody hits
- 29:09Speaker 10: when there's the ten cards in the box. But if
- 29:11Speaker 10: they don't, you send them a pack or a card
- 29:13Speaker 10: or something.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Hey look I got some right here. Yeah yeah, so explain,
- 29:18Speaker 2: like I'm five, what you guys do on the dorm.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Dude's TikTok account for someone listening to that's no idea
- 29:24Speaker 2: what a break is or what we're talking about. If
- 29:26Speaker 2: I'm flipping through TikTok, I come up on some guys
- 29:28Speaker 2: opening boxes. What are you doing?
- 29:30Speaker 10: Okay, So basically on the stream so you can you know,
- 29:34Speaker 10: if you're a fan of a team, we do team brakes,
- 29:36Speaker 10: or if you just want to get into a division
- 29:38Speaker 10: so you'd have a few more opportunities to hit, you
- 29:40Speaker 10: could do that as well. But say you're a Steelers fan,
- 29:43Speaker 10: Just like that helmet up there, you could buy the Steelers.
- 29:45Speaker 10: In a three helmet break, we open up three helmets,
- 29:48Speaker 10: and if one of the helmets in the boxes is
- 29:50Speaker 10: a Steelers helmet, you would get it. If not, you
- 29:52Speaker 10: would get a card, just like we talked about.
- 29:54Speaker 2: So if you buy the Steelers, though, and you open
- 29:55Speaker 2: three helmets and none of them are Steelers, you don't
- 29:59Speaker 2: get a helmet, you get the card. That's correct, That's great,
- 30:01Speaker 2: and I know that just making sure. Yeah, of course
- 30:03Speaker 2: you know that you've done that before. They look all
- 30:06Speaker 2: my cards, a ton of cards. So, Zach, why did
- 30:09Speaker 2: you start doing breaks? And have you made a ton
- 30:11Speaker 2: of money doing it?
- 30:12Speaker 5: Well?
- 30:13Speaker 10: To be honest with you. When I first started, I
- 30:15Speaker 10: was just like how you started. I was a buyer,
- 30:17Speaker 10: so there was a couple other guys on TikTok that
- 30:19Speaker 10: I would buy into, but they would only do like
- 30:21Speaker 10: bigger breaks with a bunch of cards. So they would
- 30:23Speaker 10: have like one jersey and then like nine card boxes,
- 30:26Speaker 10: like boxes of expensive cards, like three hundred dollars a box,
- 30:28Speaker 10: and it would always be like two hundred bucks for
- 30:30Speaker 10: a team, and I would, you know, buy into a couple.
- 30:33Speaker 10: I was a college students, so obviously I didn't have
- 30:35Speaker 10: a ton of money, but I would always hit a
- 30:38Speaker 10: bunch of cards and I was like, well, I'm really
- 30:39Speaker 10: only buying into this for the memorabilia. So I thought
- 30:41Speaker 10: to myself, as like, what if we just strictly did
- 30:43Speaker 10: memorabilia breaks and then did a little bit of cards
- 30:46Speaker 10: like as we got bigger. So that's kind of where
- 30:48Speaker 10: I got the idea. And I always saw people in
- 30:50Speaker 10: the comment sections and they were like, is there any
- 30:52Speaker 10: cheaper options? And the guy that was breaking, He's like, no,
- 30:54Speaker 10: there's no money.
- 30:55Speaker 9: To be made there.
- 30:56Speaker 10: So I was like, huh, I think we could do
- 30:58Speaker 10: this with just like a couple items set of like ten.
- 31:01Speaker 9: And that's kind of how it started.
- 31:02Speaker 2: You know.
- 31:02Speaker 10: I was looking for a way to pay for my school,
- 31:04Speaker 10: uh and have some fun with my friends.
- 31:06Speaker 9: And hey, that's it worked out.
- 31:08Speaker 2: And so dorm dudes? Was it?
- 31:09Speaker 7: Literally?
- 31:10Speaker 2: In Shane, I'll ask you this, were you living in
- 31:12Speaker 2: a dorm?
- 31:13Speaker 5: Yes?
- 31:14Speaker 2: Did does that come to you and say, hey man,
- 31:16Speaker 2: this we're going to jail?
- 31:18Speaker 12: However I told him. I was like, hey man, you
- 31:21Speaker 12: go down.
- 31:21Speaker 2: I'm going down.
- 31:23Speaker 11: We all live in the same fraternity house. Yeah, I
- 31:24Speaker 11: mean it's you know, small division two.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Where where'd you guys are? Where do you are you
- 31:28Speaker 2: guys still in school?
- 31:29Speaker 5: Yes?
- 31:29Speaker 2: Yeah, we're still in school now.
- 31:30Speaker 12: I had to email my professor actually ten minutes ago.
- 31:33Speaker 2: For making a video message like he's literally here.
- 31:36Speaker 11: Man, that's my accounting class. I think she'll be all
- 31:39Speaker 11: right with it. So you you're you're still in school?
- 31:41Speaker 11: Where do you want to say? Ashlan University in Ohio?
- 31:45Speaker 11: Small Division two in Ashland.
- 31:46Speaker 2: When you say division two, that makes me feel like
- 31:48Speaker 2: you're playing a sport. Do you guys play sports there?
- 31:49Speaker 12: I did quit football for this, but you know I
- 31:52Speaker 12: told my coaches.
- 31:53Speaker 2: You quit football to be a to be a dorm dude.
- 31:55Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean yeah, I mean, uh we uh you
- 31:58Speaker 11: know capital, I was on an opportunity like this.
- 32:02Speaker 12: My coach is understood.
- 32:03Speaker 11: I mean I was a kicker, So I mean I'm
- 32:06Speaker 11: hoping to go back here soon once we can work
- 32:08Speaker 11: out something.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Like dorm du wants to come back. What you gonna
- 32:13Speaker 2: sell your fancy little Memorabiliaah, yeah.
- 32:15Speaker 11: Yeah, I got You know, around campus it's getting it's
- 32:17Speaker 11: getting bigger. You know, people are starting to notice and
- 32:20Speaker 11: ask us questions and stuff like that, which is really cool.
- 32:22Speaker 11: And we're open to you know, talking to anybody about
- 32:24Speaker 11: it and they're really interested in it. And you know,
- 32:26Speaker 11: this is still a fairly new business model as well,
- 32:28Speaker 11: so who knows where this is going to go in
- 32:30Speaker 11: you know, five years.
- 32:31Speaker 2: So what about Zach with these boxes like the I mean,
- 32:36Speaker 2: like I know all the little terms now because I
- 32:37Speaker 2: want it so much, But like there are boxes that
- 32:39Speaker 2: say like just break it and it's like a black
- 32:42Speaker 2: box and there's a gold the gold box. So who
- 32:46Speaker 2: puts the boxes together? And was that already happening before
- 32:49Speaker 2: you guys started breaking them on the stream?
- 32:50Speaker 10: So yeah, we work with a couple of suppliers in
- 32:53Speaker 10: Florida and they put the boxes together. And when you
- 32:57Speaker 10: reached out to us and we're asking about the Cowboys memorabilia,
- 33:00Speaker 10: I was I was really upset because I was hoping
- 33:01Speaker 10: to get you something cool Cowboys. But we we truly
- 33:03Speaker 10: do have no idea what's in the boxes. And that's
- 33:06Speaker 10: for you know, to protect a supplier and us as well,
- 33:09Speaker 10: because if they told us, you know what was in them,
- 33:11Speaker 10: some people, just like you found on TikTok, there's dishonest
- 33:13Speaker 10: people out there who would be tempted to take out
- 33:15Speaker 10: the big hits.
- 33:16Speaker 2: But before did the box exist, before you ask for them.
- 33:20Speaker 10: Yeah, so before we started breaking, they were making the boxes,
- 33:24Speaker 10: and I'm not really sure what all they were going
- 33:26Speaker 10: towards because there wasn't a lot of breakers. But I
- 33:30Speaker 10: remember when I first started, I would order on a
- 33:31Speaker 10: Tuesday and it would ship out on a Tuesday. Now
- 33:34Speaker 10: you order on a Tuesday and three tuesdays from now
- 33:36Speaker 10: it ships actually, so so they've definitely built up and
- 33:40Speaker 10: there's a lot of items that get back ordered, like
- 33:42Speaker 10: we've been waiting on those helmets for like the Goldies.
- 33:45Speaker 10: The Goldies actually are on backword. We got some of
- 33:47Speaker 10: those in today.
- 33:50Speaker 2: I'm waiting for the Goldies. You know that it depends,
- 33:54Speaker 2: like I like whenever that you can bust a helmet
- 33:56Speaker 2: and you got a black bag, Yeah, because the difference
- 33:58Speaker 2: is you get a clear bag. At first, I didn't know.
- 34:00Speaker 2: I was just like, it's a jersey. But if I
- 34:02Speaker 2: get a clear bag, now I'm like, that sucks because
- 34:04Speaker 2: it's not an authentic The clear bag is a custom.
- 34:07Speaker 2: But also the word custom makes you think like custom,
- 34:09Speaker 2: but it's not. It's like they made it a little
- 34:11Speaker 2: crappier because I didn't want to pay for the to
- 34:13Speaker 2: have the right for the logo still cool if you
- 34:15Speaker 2: frame it backward because you don't know the difference exactly. Okay,
- 34:18Speaker 2: and it's autograph, it's a legit autograph. But the black
- 34:20Speaker 2: bags you get one of those, I've only got like two.
- 34:25Speaker 2: I got a Jaylen Wattle black bag, which is cool
- 34:27Speaker 2: from you guys when you guys weren't on once. I
- 34:30Speaker 2: got a Peyton Manning black bag. It's like a thousand bucks.
- 34:32Speaker 2: It's freaking legit and it's about the only black bags
- 34:36Speaker 2: I've gotten though, But I like the jbs. Aren't they
- 34:38Speaker 2: black bag? Or is the Goldie black bag? Helmet and
- 34:41Speaker 2: small helmet.
- 34:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:42Speaker 10: The gold boxes are like the highest tier they make,
- 34:45Speaker 10: So it's an authentic helmet with like the air up
- 34:47Speaker 10: pads and everything in it. And then it's the black
- 34:49Speaker 10: bag jersey and then a big hit on the many helmet.
- 34:50Speaker 10: It's supposed to be two quarterbacks out of every three items.
- 34:53Speaker 1: In the box.
- 34:54Speaker 2: And so when you pull something really cool like a
- 34:57Speaker 2: Brady or a homes a little bit you're like, just
- 35:02Speaker 2: freaking awesome because we can show off how big the
- 35:03Speaker 2: breaks are that we do. But a little bit too,
- 35:05Speaker 2: you're like, God, I wish I could have That's what
- 35:07Speaker 2: I would be like. So difficult, Yeah, so difficult, act excited.
- 35:10Speaker 2: I'd be like I just spent.
- 35:11Speaker 11: Eight hundred dollars on the Ben Roethlisberger jersey. This guy
- 35:13Speaker 11: ripped it or Richie ripped it actually, and uh I
- 35:16Speaker 11: just had a message the guy like dude, I need
- 35:17Speaker 11: that like that you don't see like, wait.
- 35:19Speaker 2: You paid him? Who won eight hundred bucks jersey?
- 35:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 35:22Speaker 11: So sometimes those direct message our account like well, because
- 35:24Speaker 11: me and Richie are avid Steelers fans, Yeah, so I.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Have two Steelers down something you both yeah, one both
- 35:31Speaker 2: for this amount of money.
- 35:32Speaker 11: Right, yeah, people know though they know that we're Steelers fans,
- 35:36Speaker 11: so some of them aren't obviously if they're buying the
- 35:37Speaker 11: AFC North, which I also heard you say you might.
- 35:40Speaker 11: You're not doing the breaks anymore, but I think you're
- 35:41Speaker 11: gonna like these new helmets we got.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I was trying to get. I was asking
- 35:48Speaker 2: about Cowboys stuff because and I never the only stuff
- 35:51Speaker 2: that I ever got with stuff I want, like you know,
- 35:53Speaker 2: like you said, you definitely didn't know, or you'd have
- 35:55Speaker 2: been like I help you out. The only Cowboys stuff
- 35:57Speaker 2: that I want is I won the Dak jersey that
- 35:59Speaker 2: you've seen. I'm seen it yet. It isn't my house.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Now you're hiding it from me. I haven't seen it. It
- 36:02Speaker 2: was literally in the pile of my house. I think
- 36:04Speaker 2: that you hit it from me because you think I
- 36:05Speaker 2: steal it. I got a Digs Cowboy jersey, both were customs,
- 36:09Speaker 2: and I have the CD lamb Any helmet. But I boys,
- 36:12Speaker 2: he puts it right there in front of this I
- 36:13Speaker 2: can see it every I literally was asking so they
- 36:15Speaker 2: could help me, so you get something for your birthday.
- 36:17Speaker 2: But they were so honest of guys. They were like,
- 36:20Speaker 2: we wish we could, We just aren't going to get
- 36:23Speaker 2: in the box and cheat, Okay, and then that's good.
- 36:25Speaker 8: I have a question though about that, Like, so, but
- 36:27Speaker 8: do you see trends like when you do get a shipment,
- 36:29Speaker 8: like you know, there are more Miami dolphins in this yeah, ship.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Dolphins freaking everywhere?
- 36:33Speaker 6: Man.
- 36:34Speaker 9: Yeah, oh good.
- 36:35Speaker 11: Well we'll try to adjust the prices too if we
- 36:37Speaker 11: see that. Like, if we see a lot of dolphins,
- 36:39Speaker 11: obviously the price will increase. If we're not seeing you know, colts,
- 36:42Speaker 11: for example, will decrease the price because because the buyers
- 36:44Speaker 11: know that as well, because they're breaking with five other
- 36:46Speaker 11: people that are getting the same shipments that we are,
- 36:48Speaker 11: you know what I mean.
- 36:48Speaker 2: So, I mean, but you don't know how many. Let's say,
- 36:50Speaker 2: if you get fifty boxes, you don't know that twelve
- 36:53Speaker 2: or this eight or it's just all blind, that's all.
- 36:55Speaker 12: It's all random.
- 36:56Speaker 10: Yeah, and the company doesn't Like some companies will do
- 36:58Speaker 10: like a hits list and tell you're like, okay, we
- 37:00Speaker 10: sent you one hundred Jerseys, there's one Brady in here,
- 37:02Speaker 10: there's five Jalen Wattles or whatever. But the company we
- 37:05Speaker 10: work with, and I'm glad they don't do this actually
- 37:07Speaker 10: is they get new things in so fast, so like
- 37:09Speaker 10: for example, say C. J. Stroud has a big game,
- 37:12Speaker 10: they're gonna get his jerseys in the next week. So
- 37:14Speaker 10: they don't adjust that hit list each week, so you know,
- 37:18Speaker 10: you never know what's gonna be in there. They get
- 37:19Speaker 10: new players in there so much.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Better too that you don't know that because if it
- 37:23Speaker 2: were down to like the last three and you still
- 37:25Speaker 2: knew the Mahomes had nit, you could just buy the
- 37:26Speaker 2: three boxes out exactly.
- 37:28Speaker 11: That's what I do smart, And you know, we hype
- 37:30Speaker 11: it up so much so we're like, we know Mahomes
- 37:31Speaker 11: is in here, we know Brady's in here, and if
- 37:34Speaker 11: it just disappeared, obviously the buyers and know that's why
- 37:36Speaker 11: we keep a lot of us stuff on the screen
- 37:37Speaker 11: because a lot of other breakers they won't put it
- 37:40Speaker 11: stuff on the screen.
- 37:41Speaker 12: They'll just exchange the jersey or something like that. Something
- 37:43Speaker 12: real greasy.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Have you seen shadiness? Do you know? I'm not gonna
- 37:46Speaker 2: ask you any names. Do you know of specific shady accounts?
- 37:50Speaker 2: I do? Yeah, I know. I got a jamar Jay's
- 37:52Speaker 2: black freaking Customer Authentic and it came orange and custom.
- 37:55Speaker 11: I mean We'll have people come in our stream under
- 37:57Speaker 11: like weird names, like random names and just shit on us.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Oh they're trying to take you down.
- 38:02Speaker 12: Yeah, it's weird, it's like.
- 38:03Speaker 11: And then we'll have like you know, for example, a
- 38:05Speaker 11: big breaker no Dak come in and we'll just like
- 38:07Speaker 11: hype them up, you know, because we just want to
- 38:09Speaker 11: you know, share love.
- 38:09Speaker 2: Sure, we don't.
- 38:10Speaker 12: We don't understand why there's like animosity.
- 38:12Speaker 2: What about people knowing what's in the box. Do you
- 38:15Speaker 2: think people can secretly do you think they ever secretly
- 38:17Speaker 2: cut like the bottom and take a look.
- 38:19Speaker 10: Well that's the so if you look at any of
- 38:21Speaker 10: the boxes we've sent so the company we get it from,
- 38:24Speaker 10: you know, they tape it on the box and on
- 38:26Speaker 10: the top and the bottom. So uh, if you ever
- 38:29Speaker 10: get a box and the bottom's open, then you may
- 38:32Speaker 10: be a little suspicious. But all the boxes now we
- 38:34Speaker 10: sent out, it's the tape directly from the company. You know,
- 38:36Speaker 10: the bottom obviously is not cut. The top is because
- 38:38Speaker 10: we have to open it on the on the on
- 38:40Speaker 10: the stream. But uh, you can sell they have like
- 38:42Speaker 10: the Tampa evident thing on the bottom.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Did you fill an influx? Whenever I started to talk
- 38:48Speaker 2: about it like an actual okay, were there are a
- 38:52Speaker 2: lot of people here that heard it on what absolutely?
- 38:54Speaker 13: Man?
- 38:54Speaker 2: Because I do like three shows, I'll talk about on
- 38:55Speaker 2: every show. Yeah, we appreciate it.
- 38:57Speaker 12: Did we want to thank you? Oh yeah, it's been amazing.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Did you actually see a lot of people come in
- 39:01Speaker 2: saying hey, I heard this in the Biybone Show. Absolutely.
- 39:04Speaker 10: Where we see it the most is one person will
- 39:05Speaker 10: get in and they'll be like, hey, I heard you
- 39:07Speaker 10: guys on the Bobby Bone Show. And then it's like
- 39:09Speaker 10: the comments just start.
- 39:10Speaker 2: As soon as one says it.
- 39:11Speaker 10: Yeah, like people, I'm here from Bobby too. I'm here
- 39:13Speaker 10: from Bobby too.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Because I literally love it. I can't enough of it.
- 39:16Speaker 2: I mean there's a there's really if if I was like,
- 39:19Speaker 2: oh you got to check this account ot and it
- 39:20Speaker 2: felt like a commercial, but like, you guys haven't paid me.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Actually I paid you. I paid them this much. But
- 39:26Speaker 2: it's it's the most fun. We would do breaks live
- 39:29Speaker 2: on the air, like we would just turn it on
- 39:30Speaker 2: and I don't know if it was fun for everyone else,
- 39:32Speaker 2: but we had a blast.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Yeah, we would be working out When I first discovered
- 39:35Speaker 2: it and in my gym We have a gym at
- 39:37Speaker 2: my house and have a big screen, and I would
- 39:39Speaker 2: turn the brake on while we're working out with my
- 39:41Speaker 2: trainer and we would just I would buy and we
- 39:43Speaker 2: keep it and work out and watch it the whole time.
- 39:44Speaker 2: It made the workout fly by it. It is awesome.
- 39:46Speaker 8: But what's cool about you guys, though, is the name
- 39:48Speaker 8: the name dorm dudes. Like that sticks and it's easy.
- 39:51Speaker 8: Like you mentioned a break, a big famous breaker a
- 39:53Speaker 8: second ago. I don't remember what that was, and you
- 39:54Speaker 8: said it like two minutes ago. Dorm dude sticks, dude,
- 39:57Speaker 8: and that's awesome, Like that's huge for you guys.
- 39:59Speaker 10: Yeah, we appreci it and that and that strictly came
- 40:01Speaker 10: because you know, like we said, we we started in
- 40:03Speaker 10: a dorm and then uh, we got kicked out of
- 40:06Speaker 10: the dorm. But that's where it started.
- 40:08Speaker 2: So do you guys have who all is breaking? There's
- 40:11Speaker 2: one guy like this is this would be my recommendation.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Who needs my recommendation? But you should put your names
- 40:16Speaker 2: up like a name tag on the main screen so
- 40:19Speaker 2: we can know who we're like with and we like
- 40:22Speaker 2: form this relationship with even though we don't know you
- 40:25Speaker 2: were like, oh, Zach's on like that would be the thing,
- 40:28Speaker 2: because I never know. There's only the one dude with
- 40:30Speaker 2: the beard. Sometimes when I get on, he's kind of
- 40:32Speaker 2: like a big dude with a beard. Yeah, I like him.
- 40:33Speaker 2: I don't even know his name, though I would put you,
- 40:38Speaker 2: I would put names up. That way, we just have
- 40:41Speaker 2: it again, takes us and takes this connection we have
- 40:45Speaker 2: to a different level. It's like, my favorite dorm dude
- 40:47Speaker 2: is Zach. Yeah, and then Eddie's like he's nothing compared
- 40:49Speaker 2: to shame.
- 40:52Speaker 11: Wait till we see the Wait till you guys see
- 40:53Speaker 11: the trading cards.
- 40:55Speaker 12: We're coming out here.
- 40:55Speaker 2: So why is your name on him? Are they about you?
- 40:57Speaker 5: One of one?
- 40:58Speaker 6: Zach Baila?
- 40:59Speaker 2: Yeah, that's wrong.
- 41:01Speaker 7: I have.
- 41:01Speaker 2: And so I started to do memborabilia myself. So I
- 41:05Speaker 2: got Kenny Chesney to sign four live jackets. Oh wow.
- 41:08Speaker 2: So what I'm trying to do is start my own
- 41:10Speaker 2: memorabilia line. Checked this out a funko of me that
- 41:14Speaker 2: was awesome. Zero of zer Revenue signed it. Yes, got
- 41:19Speaker 2: a whole thing going. Have you made a good have
- 41:21Speaker 2: you made Zach? Have you done pretty good?
- 41:23Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 41:24Speaker 10: It's definitely helped me pay for my school and my
- 41:27Speaker 10: friends as well, which is what I'm most thankful for.
- 41:29Speaker 10: I'm a very like family.
- 41:31Speaker 2: And same with me. All these are my friends from
- 41:33Speaker 2: years and years. Eddie and I have been friends, best
- 41:34Speaker 2: friends for forever. Man, Like, how long have we worked
- 41:37Speaker 2: together though, I.
- 41:37Speaker 8: Mean we've worked together for twelve I'd say like sixteen years.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Oh we did before? Yeah, so and like the other guys,
- 41:44Speaker 2: Amy and Lunchbox, I've been with there for eighteen nineteen years.
- 41:47Speaker 2: So very much that same element. And so for you
- 41:50Speaker 2: to do that, it's pretty cool. Okay, is this your
- 41:54Speaker 2: only job? Is this right?
- 41:55Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 41:55Speaker 2: I know you have an office too. You moved and
- 41:57Speaker 2: you have your own, so you must be doing good
- 41:59Speaker 2: enough that you need your own in space now.
- 42:01Speaker 10: Well, yeah, that's kind of a funny story, to be
- 42:04Speaker 10: honest with you. We we would have stayed in the door,
- 42:06Speaker 10: but uh, about a month ago, the residence life coordinator
- 42:10Speaker 10: came on we were actually live, and he gave us
- 42:13Speaker 10: a little knock on the door, and you know, everybody
- 42:16Speaker 10: in the house knows not to like mess with the
- 42:18Speaker 10: Uh you're good, Yeah, yeah, everybody knows kind of not
- 42:23Speaker 10: to mess with the door when we're streaming, So we
- 42:25Speaker 10: kind of open it up and she's like, what do
- 42:27Speaker 10: you guys doing business? Yeah, and we were like, oh,
- 42:30Speaker 10: we're actually live right now with the one hundred and
- 42:32Speaker 10: fifty people watching us, and she was like, uh no,
- 42:34Speaker 10: that's not gonna fly. So luckily, yeah, luckily, I had
- 42:39Speaker 10: made a lot of connections with the with the business
- 42:42Speaker 10: office at the school and they're like, oh, we don't
- 42:44Speaker 10: want you guys to like stop, like this is awesome.
- 42:46Speaker 10: And they'd been telling a bunch of people who were
- 42:48Speaker 10: like thinking about coming about it. So they they had
- 42:50Speaker 10: an extra extra like building and they're like, you guys
- 42:52Speaker 10: can use this as well.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Oh that's cool.
- 42:54Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 42:54Speaker 2: So we de paid Yeah, but probably not as much
- 42:57Speaker 2: as you'd pay for like a no, I wouldn't say
- 43:00Speaker 2: so can I invest in dorm?
- 43:01Speaker 6: Dudes?
- 43:02Speaker 9: Yeah, we can probably talk about that because.
- 43:05Speaker 2: With the investment would be I mean I just talk
- 43:06Speaker 2: about crap. Yeah, yeah, that'd be awesome because I don't
- 43:10Speaker 2: because we we're gonna do it. We're gonna do it
- 43:11Speaker 2: for like a little bit and then ours is. But
- 43:14Speaker 2: also we're gonna get kicked off like you. I mean,
- 43:16Speaker 2: you guys have a real account and you got kicked off.
- 43:18Speaker 2: We'll get kicked off one minutecause, Min's gonna say, let's gamble.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Here's a couple of clips of me winning in the
- 43:23Speaker 2: last few days. Mike, we hit one of those.
- 43:25Speaker 13: Here we go and on the bye back Cose we
- 43:29Speaker 13: have bo Jackson thirteen of twenty five thirteen that belongs
- 43:33Speaker 13: to mister Bobby Bone card Autumn. Wow, mister Bobby Bones,
- 43:39Speaker 13: congratulations man, nineteen eighty five.
- 43:42Speaker 6: Wow.
- 43:43Speaker 11: Heisman here in nineteen eighty five. The thing is a
- 43:45Speaker 11: nineteen ninety one card. Bobby Bones congratulations man. If mister
- 43:49Speaker 11: Bobby Bones can trust us, so can you?
- 43:51Speaker 2: Guys? I would I even know these days now? Sampling everybody, Yep,
- 44:00Speaker 2: here you go feels like a funko pop. Guys, feels
- 44:04Speaker 2: like a funk o pop. Let's see who we have.
- 44:07Speaker 14: Let's see what we got, guys.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Stefon Diggs, step On Digs there for the bills. That
- 44:13Speaker 2: is a sweet hit right there, Stefan Ditch for those
- 44:17Speaker 2: Buffalo bills. That's the ANFC East. That's going to mister
- 44:21Speaker 2: Bobby Boat.
- 44:23Speaker 5: Who is that?
- 44:23Speaker 2: Who is that?
- 44:24Speaker 10: That's Ellison. He's in Virginia actually, and he graduated last year.
- 44:28Speaker 10: So he went out to get a job and I
- 44:30Speaker 10: actually called him and I was like, hey, I think
- 44:32Speaker 10: I have a little bit better of an opportunity here
- 44:34Speaker 10: for you, less hours than everything, and so.
- 44:36Speaker 2: You can pay him a salary that he was gonna
- 44:37Speaker 2: make on his job. Yeah, oh my god, amazing.
- 44:40Speaker 11: Technically we're a subcontract sure, so I can write off stuff,
- 44:43Speaker 11: you know.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Yeah, do different, amen, I get it. That's why I'm
- 44:46Speaker 2: doing You don't think I'm writing this crap off for
- 44:48Speaker 2: my job. Guys. That's awesome, dude, that is wild. Yeah, congratulations, guys,
- 44:53Speaker 2: it really is really is cool what you've been able
- 44:56Speaker 2: to do, and that I even noticed the brand of
- 44:58Speaker 2: it because you up around once you like one, they
- 45:01Speaker 2: just send you a hundred of them. But again, I've
- 45:04Speaker 2: sampled most of them, and it just isn't as good,
- 45:08Speaker 2: doesn't feel as honest. You know, you've been super cool
- 45:13Speaker 2: to me. They sent a bag up for us to
- 45:15Speaker 2: open ones. Remember that one.
- 45:17Speaker 12: That was awesome? We were all hype in the back.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it was cool.
- 45:19Speaker 9: I wish it would have been a better hit for
- 45:20Speaker 9: you though, you know me too, But that's all.
- 45:23Speaker 8: Hey, do you guys think that Bobby is just the
- 45:25Speaker 8: luckiest dude ever?
- 45:26Speaker 2: No? Watch look how much money.
- 45:30Speaker 10: Honestly, honestly, when he gets on there, I hope he
- 45:32Speaker 10: hits every time because I know he's gonna talk about it.
- 45:35Speaker 2: But he can't even help me because I tried, like,
- 45:37Speaker 2: give me, help me out with some cowboy, even if
- 45:39Speaker 2: you have any and he's like, I knew it. He's like,
- 45:41Speaker 2: I wish I could, but I can't. And I know
- 45:43Speaker 2: that sucked to say, but it was the most honest
- 45:45Speaker 2: answer that I could have got that made me actually
- 45:48Speaker 2: feel good about working with you guys, or working no,
- 45:50Speaker 2: just spending money like anybody else. All Right, well, I
- 45:54Speaker 2: mean I don't even know what's your favorite thing you've unboxed,
- 45:56Speaker 2: except you can't do personal Pittsburgh items. It has to
- 45:59Speaker 2: be something that's not your favorite team. And then we'll
- 46:02Speaker 2: do favorite team. But something you open and you were like,
- 46:04Speaker 2: oh my god, I can't believe it.
- 46:06Speaker 11: I'll probably say I've ripped a couple actually out of
- 46:08Speaker 11: the blackest break. It's on the Salute to Service Buccaneers.
- 46:12Speaker 11: Tom Brady helmets are just sick, full size, full size.
- 46:14Speaker 11: I love those things and they're in the black just break.
- 46:16Speaker 11: It's people people sleep on the play. And then what
- 46:18Speaker 11: do you think that could go for if you listen
- 46:19Speaker 11: to on e Bay three four thousand, maybe wow, and
- 46:23Speaker 11: people somebody paid like ninety.
- 46:25Speaker 5: Bucks for it.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and what about your favorite break?
- 46:28Speaker 10: So my favorite hit it was a Tom Brady helmet,
- 46:30Speaker 10: but it was split half bucks.
- 46:32Speaker 2: I saw that on yourn, so.
- 46:35Speaker 10: You know that that helmet goes for for some big money.
- 46:38Speaker 2: I saw that on like their feet, not even their
- 46:39Speaker 2: live like I follow them, so it's like on there.
- 46:41Speaker 2: They posted it on their feed. Yeah.
- 46:43Speaker 10: But the problem with that helmet is who does it
- 46:45Speaker 10: go to? Oh, you're right, you've had a lot of
- 46:48Speaker 10: issues with that.
- 46:50Speaker 2: What did you do? So we had to because let
- 46:53Speaker 2: me explain. If you if it was a division winning
- 46:55Speaker 2: let's say you picked the AFC East, Okay, that's the Patriots,
- 46:58Speaker 2: but the NFC South is the Bucks exactly. Or if
- 47:01Speaker 2: you just picked the Patriots and it was a team
- 47:04Speaker 2: that's easy, you split the helmet in half.
- 47:06Speaker 7: What did you do?
- 47:07Speaker 10: So we can't call it this on a live but
- 47:10Speaker 10: it's a randomizer like you just going randomizer dot org.
- 47:12Speaker 10: And we put in both team names. It was the
- 47:14Speaker 10: only the only way we could do it. And you
- 47:16Speaker 10: know a lot of people in the comments are like, well,
- 47:17Speaker 10: it should go to the team he played for.
- 47:18Speaker 9: Longest it could go, it should.
- 47:20Speaker 11: Go to Yeah, yeah, that's what we see the name
- 47:23Speaker 11: that it's or the side that he signed on, which
- 47:25Speaker 11: we can't do because one time we had to sign
- 47:27Speaker 11: right on the middle.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Yeah. So did you guys have to create any rules
- 47:31Speaker 2: because of that? Because you learned a lesson, there's got
- 47:33Speaker 2: to stay consistent. Yeah, what's the role on that?
- 47:36Speaker 9: We always do the name picker the randomizer? Uh so
- 47:39Speaker 9: you just do it once? Three times?
- 47:41Speaker 2: Do you show the randomizer?
- 47:42Speaker 10: We we show the result. But that's another thing with TikTok.
- 47:45Speaker 10: That's what can get you caught because they think they
- 47:48Speaker 10: think it's gambling when they see the randomized Oh man,
- 47:51Speaker 10: so where did it go?
- 47:52Speaker 9: What'd you say?
- 47:53Speaker 6: Where to go?
- 47:54Speaker 2: Yeah? Who got it? Patriots?
- 47:56Speaker 10: I think that one went to the Patriots and and
- 47:58Speaker 10: a lot of people are actually happy, but that because
- 48:00Speaker 10: there was like thirty people in there arguing about how
- 48:02Speaker 10: he played for the Patriots.
- 48:03Speaker 9: Longer it should go there?
- 48:04Speaker 2: I would just cut the stream and then I'd hire
- 48:07Speaker 2: keep the helmet. One that I hit last week when
- 48:12Speaker 2: you guys weren't on, I hit a authentic Denver Broncos
- 48:16Speaker 2: Peyton Manning and John Elway super Bowl helmet, both of them.
- 48:20Speaker 2: And as soon as I bought it, somebody offered me
- 48:21Speaker 2: thirty five hundred bucks for it. As soon as I
- 48:23Speaker 2: bought it in my DMS, so I was like, well,
- 48:24Speaker 2: let me go see what it's worth. And I couldn't
- 48:26Speaker 2: find another exact one of that, but I found one.
- 48:29Speaker 2: The exact helmet was like just Peyton Manning was going
- 48:31Speaker 2: for two thousand bucks, So thirty five hundred is probably
- 48:34Speaker 2: pretty fair. I mean, you'll probably get it for whatever.
- 48:37Speaker 2: But when you get those crazy ones like that, do
- 48:40Speaker 2: they sign a hundred of those or some of that? Sometimes?
- 48:43Speaker 2: Is it like there was only five that exist? And
- 48:45Speaker 2: why would that company put those really cool ones in
- 48:48Speaker 2: a box and not just sell them straight up? Do
- 48:50Speaker 2: you even know the answer? I would I don't even
- 48:51Speaker 2: know the answer.
- 48:52Speaker 11: I mean, there's got to be hits in it, you
- 48:53Speaker 11: know what I mean, There's got to be hits in
- 48:54Speaker 11: it for people to want to get it. Sure, nobody's
- 48:56Speaker 11: gonna you know, there's no Tom Brady and it. People
- 48:58Speaker 11: aren't gonna, you know, look for Tom Brady. Yeah, So
- 49:00Speaker 11: I think that has to has a big deal with it.
- 49:03Speaker 10: I know there's some uh so there's a Tom Brady
- 49:05Speaker 10: Salute to service. It's actually I think it's a speed
- 49:08Speaker 10: flex exactly like the one you have sitting there. Flex
- 49:11Speaker 10: wuld be a small one, no, No, the Arkansas helmet there,
- 49:14Speaker 10: oh got again?
- 49:15Speaker 9: Yeah, but I know he numbered it.
- 49:18Speaker 10: So he numbers each each autograph like one of twenty five,
- 49:20Speaker 10: two of twenty five, so you know, but that's the
- 49:22Speaker 10: only item I think I've seen like that, which obviously
- 49:25Speaker 10: that adds to the value.
- 49:26Speaker 9: But as you said, you know with the Peyton.
- 49:28Speaker 10: Manning, you have a hard time determining the value because
- 49:30Speaker 10: there's not that many out there.
- 49:31Speaker 9: And it's the same with the cards as well.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Well. They made me pay insurance on the shipping. He's
- 49:35Speaker 2: only time I've ever had to do that because the
- 49:37Speaker 2: guy's like, I can't ship this. I'm not going to
- 49:39Speaker 2: ship it normally because if it doesn't get there, it's
- 49:41Speaker 2: a four thousand dollars helmet. So it was no money.
- 49:44Speaker 2: It was like twenty bucks. Yeah, So I was happy
- 49:45Speaker 2: to do it and retract it and everything, but he's like,
- 49:47Speaker 2: if I just put this in the ship it in
- 49:49Speaker 2: the mail. I won't feel good about sending four thousand
- 49:51Speaker 2: dollars in a helmet over and I thought that was
- 49:54Speaker 2: I thought that was a good man.
- 49:55Speaker 12: Yeah, good man.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Do you ever worry about stuff not getting to people?
- 49:58Speaker 10: Absolutely? We ship out about seven hundred packages a day.
- 50:01Speaker 2: God amazing.
- 50:03Speaker 10: Yeah, so so naturally, you know, you have a few
- 50:06Speaker 10: packages that get there don't get there. But the most
- 50:09Speaker 10: frustrating part is we have people sometimes that'll message be like, hey,
- 50:12Speaker 10: my package never got here, but the tracking number will
- 50:14Speaker 10: show that it was like delivered.
- 50:16Speaker 2: They're liars, yeah, or they got portspirated exactly. Sometimes ain't
- 50:20Speaker 2: that's not on you guys.
- 50:21Speaker 11: No, I mean sometimes it shows up like it'll say
- 50:23Speaker 11: it delivered and then show up a day later.
- 50:25Speaker 12: So a lot of people have that.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Do you know people a lying Has there been certain
- 50:27Speaker 2: people that have tried it multiple times?
- 50:29Speaker 9: Well, you know, it's hard to tell.
- 50:32Speaker 10: I had a guy the other day said his package
- 50:33Speaker 10: didn't show up at five, and then he was like, oh,
- 50:37Speaker 10: I've been waiting three weeks on this and never showed up.
- 50:39Speaker 10: And then he messaged back two hours later and it
- 50:41Speaker 10: showed up after I told him I was going to
- 50:42Speaker 10: like investigate into it.
- 50:44Speaker 9: So either like a.
- 50:45Speaker 10: Crazy coincidence happened if it got delivered, or or something
- 50:47Speaker 10: was going on there.
- 50:48Speaker 2: Have you thought about because again, a lot of your
- 50:52Speaker 2: revenue income, even for your friends, depends on if TikTok
- 50:56Speaker 2: doesn't take you down right?
- 50:57Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 50:58Speaker 2: Have you have you thought about building this model out
- 51:01Speaker 2: into a place where it's not completely reliant on the
- 51:05Speaker 2: ownership of another entity? Oh well, because they're so if not,
- 51:10Speaker 2: let's go. I'm all part of it. Let's let's build it.
- 51:13Speaker 11: I mean, there's been stuff in the news about, like,
- 51:15Speaker 11: you know, potentially TikTok getting banned and stuff like that,
- 51:17Speaker 11: which you know, we've seen that a couple months ago.
- 51:19Speaker 11: But there is another platform, the fanatics live, you know,
- 51:23Speaker 11: and we work closely with fanatics as well. So I mean,
- 51:25Speaker 11: I mean they shoot you viewers they have I mean,
- 51:27Speaker 11: there's no randomizer.
- 51:28Speaker 12: Stuff like that.
- 51:29Speaker 2: But let's go.
- 51:30Speaker 11: Yeah, TikTok's very successful because they you know, they throw
- 51:32Speaker 11: a ton of viewers and they really help out with
- 51:34Speaker 11: the shop.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Are you guys part of the Chinese government?
- 51:37Speaker 5: Question?
- 51:38Speaker 2: Just Zach, just that just making sure well listen, I'm
- 51:42Speaker 2: a big fan of dorm dudes. Again, I've spent money
- 51:45Speaker 2: with them, never got anything for free. But I think
- 51:47Speaker 2: that's what makes this the most honest part of Well,
- 51:49Speaker 2: they sent a bag up here, I'll be honest.
- 51:51Speaker 5: That was free.
- 51:52Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, but I'm saying like they didn't say, like,
- 51:54Speaker 2: we'll pay you to be on your show. We literally
- 51:56Speaker 2: pursued them to have communication about how we could launch
- 51:58Speaker 2: our own channel very brief, and Zach was super cool
- 52:02Speaker 2: and I was like, dang, he's so cool, and like
- 52:03Speaker 2: we'd be doing the same thing, not competing, because there's
- 52:05Speaker 2: it's wide open, it's it. But I thought that was
- 52:08Speaker 2: super cool. And were you guys driving up from Florida?
- 52:11Speaker 10: Yeah, we we actually have some suppliers in Florida that
- 52:14Speaker 10: we meet with quite often. And then it was our
- 52:16Speaker 10: spring break as well, so we hung out for a
- 52:18Speaker 10: few days, kind of enjoyed the sun, nice took a
- 52:20Speaker 10: little break, and then a few of our guys are
- 52:22Speaker 10: still back streaming.
- 52:23Speaker 2: But what's your favorite memorabilia that you have that is personal?
- 52:28Speaker 2: So you're a Steeler fan.
- 52:29Speaker 11: It's probably my Ben Roethlisberger that I just got Nike
- 52:32Speaker 11: vapor Elites, got the cuff sleeves and everything, a couple
- 52:34Speaker 11: of inscriptions on it.
- 52:35Speaker 2: It's badass, that's cool. What about you?
- 52:37Speaker 10: So how this actually started for me when when I
- 52:40Speaker 10: was a kid, I was always go to games and
- 52:43Speaker 10: I would buy like five dollars seats Brown Stadium because
- 52:46Speaker 10: you know, the Browns were not good, so secret we're
- 52:49Speaker 10: terribly cheap. And I would always go down to the
- 52:51Speaker 10: very front row before the game and stand there by
- 52:53Speaker 10: the locker room and try to get players to sign
- 52:55Speaker 10: my stuff. So I actually got a game ball signed
- 52:59Speaker 10: by Cam Chancellor are playing the Seahawks, and that's cool.
- 53:01Speaker 10: That's probably my favorite item because that's kind of what
- 53:03Speaker 10: started it for me. He signed it like tossed it
- 53:05Speaker 10: to me, and I was just wow.
- 53:06Speaker 2: This year we do a sports show we travel around
- 53:07Speaker 2: and this last year we went to the Panthers in
- 53:10Speaker 2: this and again the signature is not that good because
- 53:13Speaker 2: we just had our own marker and we stole their
- 53:14Speaker 2: ball because we were on the field with them, and
- 53:16Speaker 2: this is a Frank Wright and Bryce Young ball, so
- 53:22Speaker 2: but again we just we stole the ball because we
- 53:24Speaker 2: were down there and then we were like, hey, we
- 53:25Speaker 2: signed our ball, and they were like and so we
- 53:29Speaker 2: were doing that, we were hanging out with they signed it.
- 53:31Speaker 8: So what's that kind of ball called like, it's not white,
- 53:33Speaker 8: it's the Duke.
- 53:34Speaker 2: The dude. I gotta the Duke Brett Favre like straight,
- 53:38Speaker 2: no White signed. But then I just feel bad for
- 53:41Speaker 2: people Misissippi, I know, you know, like I wonder if
- 53:44Speaker 2: he's signing like extra now because he's in trouble. He
- 53:47Speaker 2: needs money now. Yeah. So I've always liked merchant and memorabilia,
- 53:51Speaker 2: and this is a I don't know anying about racing.
- 53:53Speaker 2: I don't know if you guys know, we'll come and
- 53:56Speaker 2: hang out in our studio and we'll just have them
- 53:59Speaker 2: sign some stuff. Yeah. So, and I bought a bunch
- 54:01Speaker 2: of Dolly and Chris Stapleton funkos and I know them both,
- 54:05Speaker 2: so I'm just gonna have them signed, a bunch of
- 54:06Speaker 2: them because you can't find signed ones. And then I'll
- 54:10Speaker 2: just give I'm just gonna done all the money charity
- 54:12Speaker 2: that we.
- 54:12Speaker 6: Make for them.
- 54:13Speaker 2: But yeah, no, I'm totally in and we're big fans.
- 54:19Speaker 2: And as soon as TikTok, what happened you dropped the softball?
- 54:21Speaker 1: Soft ball?
- 54:23Speaker 2: No, that softball I had. I had a home run
- 54:25Speaker 2: weeks ago at Florida State and they gave me the
- 54:27Speaker 2: ball I was that. By the way, it's awesome. It's great. Yeah,
- 54:29Speaker 2: today our Florida State basketball episodes up. We did a
- 54:33Speaker 2: big opening too on our because now this show that
- 54:35Speaker 2: we do here is also on the DraftKings TV network,
- 54:37Speaker 2: so it's in a few different places. But we did
- 54:39Speaker 2: this where we opened up a bunch of stuff and
- 54:46Speaker 2: I won so much. I've also lost so much. But
- 54:48Speaker 2: I've won so much, I forget what comes in the mail,
- 54:50Speaker 2: and so it's like I'm rebreaking even though you want.
- 54:55Speaker 1: So.
- 54:56Speaker 10: Uh.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys keep doing what you're doing. At dorm
- 54:58Speaker 2: Dude's break. Do you have dorm dudes break two, dorm
- 55:01Speaker 2: dudes break three, just in case we do.
- 55:04Speaker 11: I don't know if you guys are baseball fans, but
- 55:05Speaker 11: we do have Dorm Dude dugouts now, and that'll be
- 55:07Speaker 11: we'll have a sign Jerseys signed, bats signed, Baseball's actual baseball.
- 55:11Speaker 4: So that's a cool name.
- 55:11Speaker 6: Dude.
- 55:12Speaker 12: Well, I know you got a lot of Jersey.
- 55:13Speaker 4: Dorm Dude break door dor dugout dugouts, Dorm dude Out dugouts.
- 55:17Speaker 10: And then we're also working on dorm Dude's dunks. So
- 55:20Speaker 10: we're gonna.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Basketball jersey last night. I want to where did you
- 55:24Speaker 2: just get that back? Someone up? Hold on this one.
- 55:27Speaker 2: They weren't on No, I can't do transaction. Hey, they
- 55:30Speaker 2: don't have stuff.
- 55:30Speaker 7: Listen.
- 55:32Speaker 2: I found the way to last night. The guy wasn't
- 55:34Speaker 2: doing TikTok shop. You could do Venmo, which is very confusing.
- 55:37Speaker 2: But he was like, call a team out and then
- 55:39Speaker 2: venmo me and I was like, why not a basketball?
- 55:43Speaker 2: All four? So I did one basketball and I won
- 55:45Speaker 2: a Pacers because we went there. Yeah, I won an
- 55:49Speaker 2: authentic Halliburton signed jersey and I only got in for
- 55:53Speaker 2: one team because there's like two teams left. And I
- 55:56Speaker 2: won that jersey for thirty three bucks. And I looked
- 55:59Speaker 2: it up and it's like a five hundred and fifty
- 56:01Speaker 2: dollars jersey. Hey, but he's not lucky. You guys, don't
- 56:03Speaker 2: worry about that, joh I need to show you. I
- 56:05Speaker 2: never showed you. You know how much I've spent, But
- 56:07Speaker 2: I've spent a poll yea. Yeah, I know we're going
- 56:09Speaker 2: to sign this bat for dorm dudes, eddie, okay much
- 56:13Speaker 2: stuff from then we're going to send them back with
- 56:14Speaker 2: this very much. Yeah, you guys have it?
- 56:17Speaker 9: How far is the drive now about six and a
- 56:18Speaker 9: half more hours.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Will you go straight from here and just back in
- 56:20Speaker 2: the car. Yeah, they get class back to work. Would
- 56:23Speaker 2: you have to get back to work?
- 56:24Speaker 12: Sticker with Zach if you're a subscriber, get back to work?
- 56:27Speaker 2: That's this big thing. Do you guys make money off subscriptions?
- 56:30Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 56:30Speaker 2: Why would I subscribe?
- 56:32Speaker 10: So the subscription thing, we do a monthly giveaway to subscribers.
- 56:36Speaker 10: So how we explain it is it's basically like getting
- 56:38Speaker 10: into a break each month, but it's only three dollars
- 56:40Speaker 10: a month, So instead of paying thirty nine dollars or
- 56:42Speaker 10: thirty eight bucks for a division, you're just paying three dollars.
- 56:45Speaker 10: And we put all the subscriber's name in a hat.
- 56:47Speaker 9: Pull it out.
- 56:48Speaker 10: So like last month, we gave away a Patrick Mahomes jersey.
- 56:51Speaker 10: It was actually my personal one of my favorite jerseys.
- 56:54Speaker 10: And we were in Florida meeting with the suppliers and
- 56:57Speaker 10: one of the guys gave away my Patrick Mahomes jersey.
- 56:59Speaker 2: But wait, did you know you were giving away the
- 57:02Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes You.
- 57:02Speaker 10: No, I didn't know until until I tuned into the
- 57:05Speaker 10: live and sold my Patrick Monster Salute.
- 57:08Speaker 2: The service too. Oh yeah, man, here do you want
- 57:14Speaker 2: the duke? That's not the duke. This is an Encore.
- 57:18Speaker 12: Whatever this crap is.
- 57:20Speaker 2: That's the Wilson or the bat to the dorm b
- 57:24Speaker 2: What were you put in your office? The football may
- 57:26Speaker 2: be smaller and easier, honestly, or you can have use it.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Or it's the Louisville slugger. That's a little due. Yeah,
- 57:31Speaker 2: let's do Let's do the football. That's the football, all right,
- 57:33Speaker 2: because the bat's just gonna Okay, two best dudes do this?
- 57:45Speaker 2: Pin stuck? No, boy, do you ever?
- 57:48Speaker 9: I don't know. It may show better on the red bat.
- 57:50Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Listen, you can have both.
- 57:53Speaker 6: Two.
- 57:55Speaker 2: That's too late. Already started signing this one our best dudes.
- 58:01Speaker 2: I don't know what that means, Addie. The best dudes.
- 58:03Speaker 11: Yeah, the best, THEAXT guy, best prices, best dudes on
- 58:07Speaker 11: the back of you.
- 58:08Speaker 6: Want to sign this?
- 58:09Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, marker, you have a marker? Yeah here, I
- 58:13Speaker 2: got to go the lighting though it's gonna terrible. I
- 58:15Speaker 2: got to go under the lighting. It's here to give
- 58:21Speaker 2: me that mark. Oh my god. All right, we stored
- 58:25Speaker 2: the studios. We'll over over twenty dollars. Football anything else
- 58:30Speaker 2: from you guys.
- 58:31Speaker 4: I want to know about the boxes. Do you guys
- 58:32Speaker 4: have any like say as far as why they designed
- 58:35Speaker 4: the boxes to look like waffles and fruit loops.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Right and Cheetos flaming hot Cheetos.
- 58:40Speaker 11: We honestly have no idea what the theme is for that.
- 58:43Speaker 11: We don't want the theme is that. But I mean
- 58:45Speaker 11: it works, it does.
- 58:46Speaker 4: I mean it catches my eye every time I see them, like,
- 58:47Speaker 4: are they like, let's.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Get It's like a lettle go, Let's go. And I
- 58:51Speaker 2: remember the waffles have either a funko a football, which
- 58:54Speaker 2: like the worst thing right after three you really don't
- 58:56Speaker 2: want the white football. I got a few of those,
- 59:00Speaker 2: and then or no, I got a Barry Sanders. Yeah
- 59:02Speaker 2: I remember that.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:03Speaker 2: I was like, I'm not doing anymore. Let's go. That
- 59:06Speaker 2: was a personal unless it's good and he opens up
- 59:08Speaker 2: and it's a Barry Sanders signed figurine. It's funny.
- 59:10Speaker 11: He was like, I'm the most unlucky guy in the world.
- 59:13Speaker 11: I was like, just get a personal then, and.
- 59:16Speaker 2: Then I message Barry Sanders because he follows me on Twitter,
- 59:19Speaker 2: so I messaged him and then he didn't respond. Of course,
- 59:21Speaker 2: I was like, hey, man, I got your signed figure.
- 59:27Speaker 2: He seened me. It's a scene and Red Barry Sanders.
- 59:32Speaker 12: I didn't even like it.
- 59:33Speaker 2: I know, I know, Okay, cool, good question, read anything.
- 59:36Speaker 2: You don't have to ask anything if you don't have anything.
- 59:39Speaker 9: No, I mean, I think it's amazing we all are doing.
- 59:42Speaker 2: They're not curing cancer.
- 59:44Speaker 3: I mean it feels like that you're giving hope to
- 59:47Speaker 3: a lot of people. People that stopped Eddie gambling.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Yeah. I want to know about the shipping, Like how
- 59:53Speaker 2: much money he spent on shipping.
- 59:55Speaker 4: That's the biggest about eight shippers.
- 59:57Speaker 9: Yeah, the shipping is a nightmare. That's uh uh.
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: You know, when we get off the stream, because because
- 1:00:02Speaker 10: we stream almost twenty four hours a day, the only
- 1:00:03Speaker 10: time we're not streaming is four am to eight am
- 1:00:06Speaker 10: unless we're dealing with what we're dealing with right now.
- 1:00:07Speaker 10: But the shipping guys are are up all night and
- 1:00:11Speaker 10: then we switch off to another person during the day.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: And it's just how many people are on your team.
- 1:00:15Speaker 10: So we have I think six streamers and then six
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: shipping people.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Wow, but yeah, big time, it's an operation. That's legit
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: all right, you guys follow at dorm Dude's break and
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: did the best. If you're into breaks, there are dudes
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: there our best. We almost broke a light for them.

- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Coach Hamilton, coach first and foremost. I do want to
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: talk about music because I know that's passion of yours too.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Why is gospel music a passion of yours?
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: Well? In the first place, I never lived more than
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: forty yards from my church growing up, and that's part
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: of our culture. Every time the door open, we were
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: in it for something set in the school, Bible, school BTU,
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: vacation Bible scue, Thursha board, the children's choir, the youth choir,
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: the phill Upship choir. It was just kind of part
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: of what we enjoyed. We would actually go sing for
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: Sunday service, go two programs in the afternoon, come back
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: and do eating the service in the program at night.
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: That was kind of a way of life for us,
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: and it's part of who I am, what I enjoyed,
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: what I believe in and I think that attending in
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: that kind of church and kind of community, that environment,
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: it gives you a moral compass that sometimes when you
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: face with those decisions where you can do one or
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: the other, your moral compass kind of keeps you kind
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: of grounded and allows you to make better decisions. So
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: that's kind of part of my life how I grew up,
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: and I wouldn't change anything.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: If I can just keep it completely real with you.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: So I grew up in a town and there was
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: a white quarters and there's black quarters, and I would
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: go to the black church like once a month. That
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: was at the white church like three three weeks out
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: of the but when I would go across the street
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: to the black church, it was way more singing. It
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: was way more fun. And not only that, if I
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: went and we started at nine, I may not get
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: out to two thirty or three. So so I knew
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: it was like an investment and I was. It was
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: like I worked out, It was like a long It
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: was definitely more passionate and like white church was good
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: and you got the message. But when we went across
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: the street, like that's where like love was like that's community.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: But also sweat.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: Well, I look at it as fun, enjoyable praising and worship,
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: but some similar to a pet rally once they started
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: the devotion early in the morning at first thing it's own?
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: Can you sing? Like did you learn to sing in church? Like?
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Do you still sing?
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: Now? Well, I'm really good in the shower.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Me too, saying I'm not gonna ask you to sing,
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: but something so you do sing?
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: No, not really, but you know my wife always cringes
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: when I'm in public, trying to say.
- 1:05:06Speaker 15: Too, but your wife's not here today. Okay, let me
- 1:05:10Speaker 15: hit something for you. Really love the Lord? Oh, really
- 1:05:23Speaker 15: love the Lord.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: That's all I'm gonna do.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: I worked on American Idol for four years to put
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: you through. I'd have been like, you're a little out
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: of the age class like twenty six was like the Max.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: But I've been like, you know what, I'm gonna put
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: you through anyway.
- 1:05:38Speaker 14: He coaches going to Hollywood, You're going to You're going.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: You had a game last night, you guys beat Boston College.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: What do you do win or lose? Like, what is
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: the night like after a game?
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: Well, for me, it's either you're either happy or you
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: unbelievably sad. You know, coaches, we tried to put on
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: that front, you know, where everything's even killed because you
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: don't want your kids kind and emulate the feelings of
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: the coach. But when you lose a game, it's almost
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: ridiculous how low you feel, and then it's also interesting
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: how good you feel when you win. I just try
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: to keep things in perspective because there's only one game
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: and one thing about being in the ACC, one thing
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: about being in the ACC. If you lose, you got
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: another game coming right down the pike. And when you win,
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: you can't be so excited because you know another tough
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: opponent is right around the corner. So that's the life
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: of a coach. You're taking teenagers and urging them into
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: young adulthood. So you have to be mindful of fact
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: that everything you do is helping these guys develop into
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: young adulthood, and so you have to manage regardless of
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: how you feel as a coach. Sometimes you got to
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: take that in consideration.
- 1:07:00Speaker 8: You play it off well, coach, because I was going
- 1:07:02Speaker 8: to say that you look like one of the calms
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: coaches out there during the game, and I was gonna
- 1:07:06Speaker 8: ask you now that you're telling me like, no, no, no,
- 1:07:08Speaker 8: there's a lot of emotions going on during the game.
- 1:07:10Speaker 14: How do you decompress when you get home? Like, what
- 1:07:13Speaker 14: is the step? What are the steps to that?
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: When I was at Oma Oklahoma State, my mother who
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: was set in ninety seven when she passed, she used
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: to watch all my games and she called me when
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: and she said, Leonard, you luck, You're gonna have a
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: heart attack. And that really bothered me that I was
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: expressing myself in a way that it looked not stable.
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: And so I've always tried to maintain or even kill
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: regardless of what we're playing well, regardless of what we're
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: playing bad, because it influences the mindsets of your players.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: What's the standard? Vague, broad question, but what's the standard
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: for Florista basketball?
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: Well, we tried to develop a culture that allows us
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: to be successful. My journey has been taking over programs
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: they need a little fixing up. I went to Oklahoma
- 1:08:07Speaker 5: State that hadn't been the postseason tournament in twenty seven years,
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: and how I got to that point. Miami didn't even
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: have basketball for thirteen years. Then it came back as
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: an independent, and Florida State had been inconsistent that's been
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: my odyssey, you know, me going on taking over problems
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: and building. But when I was at the University of
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: Kentucky for twelve years, that was a time when I'm
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: sitting there in wondering what kind of job do I want.
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: So I'm looking at those jobs and great locations, with
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: great facilities, with great support and thinking that that's where
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: I want to be. And I remember, like it was yesterday,
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: it looked like the Lord reached down from heaven and
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: slapped me on both sides of my face bam bam,
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: and I got that vision. He said, those problems don't
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: need you. So I started wanting to getting excited about
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: problems need to be built. You need to And so
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: the program that was down the Lords, in my opinion,
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: was the best job for me. And so I had
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: an opportunity to go in and create, develop, and maintain.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: What was North Carolina basketball culture like? Living in the
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: state where you grew up, what was that culture for
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: you like as a kid seven, eight, twelve years old.
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: Well, in the first place, I was always excited about
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: watching acc basketball. But that was a time when African
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: American players didn't have an opportunity to go to the ACC.
- 1:09:36Speaker 5: So I think in the mid sixties when you had
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: Charlie Scott that was at Longbreak Institute that had committed
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: to North Carolina, you had Mike mlloy who was at
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: Davidson who left to Giseam. It started to change. And
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: I was telling someone the other day, Davidson's freshman team
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: in Lomberg Institute prep school team we're playing the Charlotte
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: Coliseum packed the place because it was something new. And
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: so you credit Dean Smith for having the initiative in
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: the mindset of realizing that it was opportunity for it
- 1:10:12Speaker 5: was time to give black folks opportunity to play in
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: the ACC. And he doesn't get enough credit for that
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: part that he played in an integration.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: And that gave you in your mind like I can
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: now shoot for that because no one else had prior
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: to that.
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: Well, I'm always My father went to the ninth grade,
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: my mother went to the seventh grade, and they always
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: complained about them having a ceiling and a cap on
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: what they could do with their lives because they didn't
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: have the education. My father always complained about him having
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: to train people with college education to do their job,
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: but he couldn't make the same money that they were doing.
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: So he was always emphasizing getting that education, and that's
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: been that was my primary goal. I wanted to set
- 1:11:05Speaker 5: the example for my brothers and sisters and my family,
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: So me going to college and getting my degree. I
- 1:11:10Speaker 5: adopted my brother Willie. He goes to college, he gets
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: his degree, he marries a girl he meets in college,
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: and both his kids go to college. And I adopted
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: my brother Barry, he went to college. I adopted. I
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: adopted my sister Pam. She went to college, her son
- 1:11:24Speaker 5: goes to college. My brother John was too old for
- 1:11:26Speaker 5: me to adopt, so but his kids go to college.
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: And I'm saying it changed the whole culture of our family.
- 1:11:33Speaker 5: So for me to be focused really on getting my education,
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: everything else is gravy from that standpoint.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: What about when you talk to parents of kids now,
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: is that a big focus when you speak to the parents,
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: like you feel like education is such a priority along
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: with obviously the basketball, but that's something they'll have forever.
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: Well. At Florida State, I think I've been here going
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: on twenty two years, somewhere about that. I've only had
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: two guys not graduate in our program that had gone
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: to school with me for four years, so so I'm proud.
- 1:12:04Speaker 5: I'm very proud of that. From a personal standpoint, I
- 1:12:08Speaker 5: try not to talk about the accomplishments that we've had,
- 1:12:11Speaker 5: but I will promote that because I think that, like me,
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: so many of these youngsters are first generation college students,
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: and it says the table not on it for them
- 1:12:22Speaker 5: and their life, but for their siblings of people that's
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: in their family.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Coach.
- 1:12:28Speaker 8: When I played in college, I didn't play anything at all.
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: When I played in middle school.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Coach cards in college, coach, that's about it. I didn't
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: get a lot of playing time.
- 1:12:36Speaker 8: But I always thought that if I sat next to
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: the coach, i'd be, you know, front of mine, and
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: he'd put me in as soon as he looked over,
- 1:12:44Speaker 8: like you go. But that never worked out. So I'm
- 1:12:47Speaker 8: watching you know your bench. Is there an order that
- 1:12:49Speaker 8: people are sitting on that bench?
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: No? Not really. Otherwise I like to try to sit
- 1:12:53Speaker 5: in the middle. You know. One of my coaches like
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: sitting on the end. You have to. I find myself
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: standing up more than and sitting down because everybody starts
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: standing up, I can't see what's going on in the court.
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: But I think you also can communicate better with your players.
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: The gyms are very very large, I mean large gyms
- 1:13:15Speaker 5: with a lot of cheering fans, so you know, I
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: stand up most of the time, and sometimes you need
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: to be able to communicate with your guys a lot better.
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: And I also think every once in a while you
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: have to whisper in the ear of the referees officials
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: to make sure they're getting everything right.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: And whisper you don't really mean whisper. Yeah, I feel
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: like the coaches box or the area that you're allowed
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: to stand. And sure there's the area, but I feel
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: like they're shrinking where you guys are. How do you
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: feel about it? Because I feel like you can roam
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: a bit as long as you were in the way,
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: but now they're just like boom Tech.
- 1:13:53Speaker 5: I am the worst. I find myself almost sometime down
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: at the other color just sometimes I'm out the floor
- 1:14:03Speaker 5: and the referees is running over me and I should
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: be on the sideline. Sometimes you lose it, no doubt
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: about it. You get emotional. It's very interesting that everybody
- 1:14:14Speaker 5: in the stands a jumping up and down. The cheerleads
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: are cutting flips, the bands playing and they want the
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: coaches to sit down in the chairs. That doesn't make
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: sense to me.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: The season, you know, you still have the tournament to
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: come up, you have some more conference games to play
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: this season. Likes, what's the ceiling for you guys?
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: Well, right now we being consistently inconsistent and a lot normally.
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: I have a team of juniors and seniors that were
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: freshmen and sophomores, so they're a little more ingrained and
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: understand what you need this year. With the way Cottage
- 1:14:48Speaker 5: basketball is now, with the transferred portal and the NIL
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: and all those other things, that kind of is shaping
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: who we are and in our business, you don't have
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: as much experience on your team, so it's been a
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: little challenging us with basically new guys trying to compete
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: and so what we have to do. We won the
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: last game we played, but we need to get more
- 1:15:14Speaker 5: consistent in what we do. You're never gonna have more
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: talent than anybody in the ACC. Everybody's talented. It got
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: great coaches, great fans, So you have to find your
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: niche within your culture to be consistent. And it's hard
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: to develop a culture when you always got an influx
- 1:15:33Speaker 5: of new players.
- 1:15:34Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Final three questions, which player in your history of collegiate
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: ball have you given the biggest green light to at
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: any time? Who's the one player that you, more than
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: ever were like, if you got it, you can shoot,
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: if you feel good.
- 1:15:46Speaker 5: Well, if you look back at my career, you know,
- 1:15:50Speaker 5: I've been very, very fortunate to have so many good
- 1:15:53Speaker 5: players from Austin p going to the two NCAA tell
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: thements that for the first time in school risk Kentucky
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: got nine conference championships full thousand fours. I've been so blessed.
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: But but you have to be that's a question, that's
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: this challenge and the answer because everybody has a different
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: skill set and a lot depends on your system and
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: how God integrates into your system. Uh and and and
- 1:16:23Speaker 5: when you start choosing one, you very well could choose
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: ten because some guys drive better, some guy's pass better,
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: some guys shoot better, and so there are so many
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: intricate parts that allows you to win.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Three point green lights.
- 1:16:38Speaker 5: Oh Jesus, now we get that down.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: I had a kid, uh named Tim Pickett that was
- 1:16:53Speaker 5: when I first got here, and he was a tough
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: shot taker and a tough shot maker, you know, and
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: then Thornton came in and he ended up being a
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: poor shooter as a freshman, end up shooting afforded percent
- 1:17:08Speaker 5: from three. I'm not trying to avoid the question. It's
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: just that I don't know if I've ever had anybody
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: who I totally felt comfortable given.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: In the green light to control freaka.
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: My wife thinks that if you asked my wife, she
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: might tell you that.
- 1:17:30Speaker 14: Coach Bobby is my best friend.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: You know, it's like a brother, you know, like a
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: brother a friend.
- 1:17:37Speaker 8: You straight, yeah, yeah, but you know, like I can
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: tell Bobby like, hey man, you you suck at basketball.
- 1:17:42Speaker 14: You don't deserve that award whatever.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: Right, why would you say something?
- 1:17:45Speaker 8: Well I can, but if anyone else says that, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:17:48Speaker 8: don't don't say that about my butt.
- 1:17:50Speaker 14: Were you pissed that the football team didn't get selected
- 1:17:53Speaker 14: for the playoffs?
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: Well, I thought that was very interesting.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: Uh so weird way to ask that question. I wout
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: you insult me and then ask that question. Those part
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: of it.
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: But see, I think that needs to be conversation about
- 1:18:05Speaker 5: how we're selecting teams to do whatever. It's more of
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: a problem in the NC DOUBLEA that needs The percentage
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: of football teams that play in bowls are much higher
- 1:18:16Speaker 5: than the percentage of basketball players they have a chance
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: to go to the NC Double A town. I think
- 1:18:21Speaker 5: we need to increase the number of teams that can
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: go to the NCB.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: They were talking about it this week, so you do say, yes,
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: you're on adding another thirty two teams or so.
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: But what has happened? You seem as though you have
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: so many people making decisions about how to govern college sports,
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: and I don't think we have enough of the people
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: who are in the trenches, the coaches who battle it,
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: maybe some of the ads who play football and understand it.
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: But it's amazing to me sometimes how we make decisions
- 1:18:52Speaker 5: that doesn't appear to me to have been analyzed correctly,
- 1:18:58Speaker 5: to have had enough meetings to processed so we can
- 1:19:01Speaker 5: see what the future would bring if we make these decisions.
- 1:19:05Speaker 5: But I understand you don't want to think that's political,
- 1:19:12Speaker 5: but a team shouldn't be penalized because a player gets hurt,
- 1:19:17Speaker 5: in my opinion, But I'm sure there are reasons why
- 1:19:20Speaker 5: they made those decisions that I don't understand. I'm not
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: the kind of person who wants to give a lot
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: of opinions. And I think that's what's happened in our
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: society today. Everyone everybody want to make laws and decisions
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: about how they feel. I want to make decisions based
- 1:19:34Speaker 5: on facts, and the facts prove that they just they
- 1:19:39Speaker 5: had one enough game where they deserve to have the
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: opportunity to compete and in the in there in the process,
- 1:19:46Speaker 5: and they were denied that because of other decisions, And uh,
- 1:19:50Speaker 5: that's unfortunate.
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: Probably Gator fans for sure.
- 1:19:55Speaker 5: Stupid.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: Last question, coach, you got tons of six sure in
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: these different hall of fames, You've wanted every you got
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: plenty of money.
- 1:20:05Speaker 14: What about this is that your coach a lot of money?
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: What about this is still so fulfilling for you that
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: you still have the drive that you have?
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: Well, I think we all are put on this earth
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: for a purpose. And I met with two ministers, Pastor
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: A Lessi and A Hage from California when I was
- 1:20:28Speaker 5: at the University of Miami, because I always enjoyed working
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: in the church, but I was getting busier and busier.
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: It had less opportunity, and I was concerned about that.
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: You know, from a spiritual standpoint, so I met with
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: them at the wagon wheel on us one for breakfast,
- 1:20:47Speaker 5: and I discussed it with them and they told me,
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: and they told me everybody has a purpose, and God
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: has a purpose for all of us. I said, behind,
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: I supposed to know my purpose is? He said, because
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: a piece of understanding comes over you and you feel
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: good every day about what you do. And that's how
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: I feel. I have a piece of understanding. I get up,
- 1:21:11Speaker 5: I'm excited every day. I don't have any down moments
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: because I realize that this is my purpose that I'm
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: trying to fulfill. So at some point in time, I
- 1:21:21Speaker 5: know I can't do it forever, but I do feel
- 1:21:25Speaker 5: good about what I'm doing. All my kids are graduating.
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: I'm hopefully they stay out, they staying out of trouble,
- 1:21:30Speaker 5: and we win in our fair share of the games.
- 1:21:32Speaker 5: They're going on and being better husbands, fathers, neighbors, and citizens.
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: To me, that's gratifying. That's what I enjoy. And so
- 1:21:40Speaker 5: as long as my passion is there. But it's becoming
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: more and more difficult in the climate that we are
- 1:21:45Speaker 5: operating in now, and you see a lot of my
- 1:21:48Speaker 5: colleagues are deciding that it's a little something that they're
- 1:21:52Speaker 5: not interested in participating in. But as long as I
- 1:21:55Speaker 5: don't get that feeling, I'm gonna hang right on in here.
- 1:21:58Speaker 5: I tell people, ill, I'm a coach as loan as
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: long as I'm enthusiastic about it. But if I walk
- 1:22:05Speaker 5: out and go sitting on the other coaches bench by
- 1:22:07Speaker 5: mistake because I don't know where I am, I'm gonna
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: hang on in it. But if I end up setting
- 1:22:14Speaker 5: on my opponent's bench kind of coach that team and
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: don't know where I am, I might I might hang
- 1:22:20Speaker 5: on in it.
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: If they put out the silver alert during the game,
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: they're like our phones, silver alert, coach on it. We
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: got coach. We're huge fans, so thank you for your time.
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: You're such an inspiration and you know, go Seminoles. We're
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: glad you won last night. It's always awkward when we
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: come in after a loss. So we're glad you won
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: last night because we were watching going please God.
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: Well, you guys operate out in Nashville. I met my
- 1:22:43Speaker 5: wife in that in Tennessee. I went to undergraduate school
- 1:22:46Speaker 5: in Tennessee. I went to graduate school in Tennessee, so.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: We're probably related.
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: So that there you go.
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: Thank you coach, Thank you thanks. And here's our chat
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: with guards Darren Green Jr. And Tom Darren is lights
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: out from three. Tom is young guy in the program
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: that's going to be that dude eventually. They were super
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: cool for us. And here they are Darren Green Junior
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: and Tomhouse. On average, how many shots do you like
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: to get up a week? I won't say a day
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: because maybe take a day off.
- 1:23:13Speaker 16: So I try to get up at least like a
- 1:23:14Speaker 16: thousand a day. Whoa wat try to get my thousand
- 1:23:17Speaker 16: makes a day? So it just tells you how many
- 1:23:19Speaker 16: shots I have to take. A thousand makes.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: Do you ever see like a bouncer like at a
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: club or Barnes got the clicker, this is how many people.
- 1:23:23Speaker 7: Are in the club.
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: How do you know how many of you shot?
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: Because I'd be like one click.
- 1:23:28Speaker 16: Well, I won't move spots until I make a certain amount,
- 1:23:31Speaker 16: and then if you just add it up, like I go,
- 1:23:32Speaker 16: like probably twenty makes a spot and I go Most
- 1:23:35Speaker 16: of the time I go seven spots, you know, corner wing.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: But that means you miss so few that you can
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: add them up.
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: Yeah, what I'm.
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: Saying like, if you're if you're doing that you can
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: you must miss so few that you ever get into
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: a game and you're just feeling off, but you have
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: really one of the greatest game like and warm up,
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: you couldn't hit anything, but then game time hits and
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: you couldn't be more on.
- 1:23:56Speaker 16: I don't think that's necessarily happened to me, just because
- 1:23:58Speaker 16: on game day that's when I'm like, I try to
- 1:24:01Speaker 16: lock all the way in, and you know, I come
- 1:24:03Speaker 16: in the morning, I get my shots up, and then
- 1:24:04Speaker 16: I come in before shooting around get shots up. So
- 1:24:06Speaker 16: by the time of games here, I've gotten up so
- 1:24:08Speaker 16: many shots. It's almost like the muscle memory. It's just
- 1:24:11Speaker 16: like I'm.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: Already warm Does missing affect you in a game if
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: you miss the first couple or is it like I
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: need to shoot even more to wipe that away?
- 1:24:18Speaker 16: And No, miss doesn't really affect me here, especially my teammates.
- 1:24:20Speaker 16: They always keep telling me keep shooting when I missed
- 1:24:22Speaker 16: or the.
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: Next one's going in. They do tell you that, yeah,
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: they definitely.
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: When I pick up. They never say that when I missed,
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: They're like, don't shoot it anymore. No, it's the exact opposite.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: So we love different lives for sure.
- 1:24:33Speaker 8: We got a buddy of ours that says that he
- 1:24:35Speaker 8: probably would have made the NBA, but his parents moved
- 1:24:39Speaker 8: houses and they didn't.
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: Move they didn't move the hook with the hoop with it.
- 1:24:42Speaker 8: So he was like that kind of messed me up,
- 1:24:43Speaker 8: and he didn't have the confidence to do tryouts and
- 1:24:45Speaker 8: stuff like that.
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: Pretty dumb.
- 1:24:48Speaker 8: But when did you realize, like, oh, Okay, I can
- 1:24:51Speaker 8: do this.
- 1:24:54Speaker 16: I guess like it started becoming like real, like when
- 1:24:56Speaker 16: I got to high school, you know, That's why I
- 1:24:59Speaker 16: started really getting a label like.
- 1:25:00Speaker 6: A shooter, you know, like a knockdown shooter.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:25:02Speaker 16: Middle school, I didn't really like, I don't know, not
- 1:25:06Speaker 16: take it here, I take it seriouse.
- 1:25:07Speaker 6: I play AU and everything.
- 1:25:08Speaker 16: But it wasn't like I didn't have like people telling
- 1:25:11Speaker 16: that you can really play in college basketball, you know.
- 1:25:13Speaker 16: But once I got the high school's when it started
- 1:25:14Speaker 16: becoming to reality, like, Okay, I can really do it,
- 1:25:16Speaker 16: I can really make it to.
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: And play in Play D one.
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: Most of its you ever made in a high school game,
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:25:23Speaker 6: I don't know most of the main high school.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: Game you ever made?
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: Nine Yeah, I think probably not.
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I made like that's the number. Nine
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: is like super like eight. It is good seven all
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: but nine. If you can make nine, that's that's legit.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: Do you ever when you're shooting, let's say, somebody in
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: your face, do you feel it? It's so pure that
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: you can at times just not even see the rim.
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: If someone just just shoot the ball and know what's
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: going in.
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: It kind of feels like that sometimes.
- 1:25:51Speaker 16: But if for me, I actually have to see the
- 1:25:53Speaker 16: rim and I got to see the room.
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: But he's not very good. I shoot blind.
- 1:25:57Speaker 7: I don't make him, but I should a lot blind.
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: But I do.
- 1:26:00Speaker 16: I do work out with like a lot of like
- 1:26:03Speaker 16: hot hand contests, you know those things.
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: Yeah, so I do.
- 1:26:06Speaker 16: Work When I work out, I do have a guy
- 1:26:07Speaker 16: like just jumping and contesting that you know, he's probably
- 1:26:10Speaker 16: more of a sweat than I am most of the time,
- 1:26:12Speaker 16: just because he's just working so hard trying to block
- 1:26:13Speaker 16: my shot and contested.
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: Is it more embarrassing to get blocked if you're shooting
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: in mid range under the goal or shooting a three
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: if it's being projected back into the seats, which one's
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: more embarrassing?
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: I think for me at three because that's my job.
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: I can't have anyone stoping from doing my job. So
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: I think for me probably a three.
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: What about if they hit it from behind, like you're
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: shooting top of the key, somebody comes up, you don't
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: see him Like.
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: That's not embarrassing like like that.
- 1:26:37Speaker 16: That feels like atle bit, it's kind of like I
- 1:26:39Speaker 16: didn't see you coming.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: Right, even though we only counted four people in front
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: of me and I knew somebody was behind me. Still, yeah,
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: what about the move whenever you let somebody go by
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: it and then you already hit it from behind?
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I like that. Yeah, I like that.
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: That's all I'm going to come slow so they get
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: that step and then I try that, but then I
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: get called a foul. Do you ever try that in
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: the game if you get beat?
- 1:26:57Speaker 6: Yeah, you got to come back.
- 1:26:58Speaker 16: We call it a backtap, got bad or hawk it
- 1:27:01Speaker 16: down your back?
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: Do I backdap my whole life. That's all I've done
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: is back town for sure. What's see if you look
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: at the whole season, macro large, what uh thirty eight
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: forty forty two? What percentage at the end of the
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: year are you happy with?
- 1:27:17Speaker 16: I mean, I think for me, you know, around forty
- 1:27:19Speaker 16: forty and above. You know, I don't really like to
- 1:27:20Speaker 16: be below forty. I know last year I was, and
- 1:27:22Speaker 16: year before that I don't was.
- 1:27:23Speaker 6: But you don't like to be above. I'd like to
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: be below. So I would literally kill somebody.
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: I kill one of the people on the set to
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: shoot above forty.
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: I like to be above. I don't like to be
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: below forty.
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:27:33Speaker 16: I think right now I'm shooting below for I'm like
- 1:27:35Speaker 16: thirty eight thirty nine, So I gotta definitely get that.
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't want to say anything. Definitely, Yeah, we
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: were talking. When you walk up what shooter do you
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: see yourself and the most that you look up to
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: that you would like to emulate? Not still, but you
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: see you've taken a lot from watching him play ball.
- 1:27:50Speaker 16: Right, Definitely Bradley Beal and Buddy Hi, guys like that
- 1:27:55Speaker 16: who are kind of the same height, you know, same size,
- 1:27:57Speaker 16: around the same weight that I want to be, you.
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: Know, at the next level.
- 1:28:01Speaker 16: I mean, obviously Stephen Curry just because his mechanics are
- 1:28:03Speaker 16: you know, ridiculous, you know, but I think, yeah, those
- 1:28:06Speaker 16: two Bradley.
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: Build and uh, Buddy Hill just.
- 1:28:09Speaker 8: Just no, kind of same height that the game against
- 1:28:11Speaker 8: Boston College, they had to stop the game for a
- 1:28:13Speaker 8: little bit because of crowd someone in the crowd, guy
- 1:28:16Speaker 8: had a hand a little bit.
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: Is that distracting?
- 1:28:17Speaker 8: Like are there things where you're just like, man, we
- 1:28:19Speaker 8: were on a roll, like why do we.
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: Have to stop the game for something like this?
- 1:28:22Speaker 16: Yeah, I mean I think yesterday was especially just because
- 1:28:24Speaker 16: I remember Chandler.
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: Was in the post.
- 1:28:26Speaker 16: You know, you're already post the guy up, and they
- 1:28:27Speaker 16: just stopped the game in the middle, in the middle
- 1:28:29Speaker 16: of the play. You know, I think that was kind
- 1:28:31Speaker 16: of crazy. If they would have done it, like, you
- 1:28:32Speaker 16: know after you know, he would have they saw what
- 1:28:34Speaker 16: he would have done with the ball, you know, been okay,
- 1:28:36Speaker 16: But you stopped the right in the middle of the play,
- 1:28:38Speaker 16: a guy who was in a good position, you know,
- 1:28:40Speaker 16: then I think he was gonna score on that play
- 1:28:42Speaker 16: or make something happen, you know. But hey, yeah, I
- 1:28:45Speaker 16: mean it does get kind of distracted, especially in that scenario.
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: What about last question, what about somebody whistling in the crowd?
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: You ever confuse that for a rep whistle?
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:28:52Speaker 5: Good one.
- 1:28:53Speaker 16: I mean, when you're in the game, we can't really
- 1:28:55Speaker 16: know it's crazy, but I don't really like hear you know,
- 1:28:57Speaker 16: the crowd, you know, but you.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: Can hear the coaches over the crowd, or sometimes you
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: can't even hear the coach you used play Yeah sometimes,
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: I mean sometimes running home, one can't even hear it.
- 1:29:06Speaker 16: But depending on you know, the environment, you know, but definitely,
- 1:29:09Speaker 16: like I know, I can't hear the crowd. If someone
- 1:29:10Speaker 16: was in the crowd, I wouldn't unless it was that loud.
- 1:29:13Speaker 16: But I haven't heard anything in the crowd.
- 1:29:15Speaker 6: We appreciate the time.
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: We enjoy watching you shoot.
- 1:29:19Speaker 6: We wish we could shoot, yes.
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: We do, and we're really rooting for you to get
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: over forty percent because we.
- 1:29:24Speaker 7: Know you have it in you. You can do any
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: but you could do that. We believe in you. You
- 1:29:27Speaker 7: were born.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: You know a lot of people when we walked in,
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: they said, we don't know what the problem is. He
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: said thirty nine point nine, and we're like, we'll get
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: him to forty.
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: So that's what that's what we're here today, if anything
- 1:29:35Speaker 6: to do it for us. Appreciate you, bet you for
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: having me.
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: Before you walked over here, we watched you hit one
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: and then you're like, now I feel good.
- 1:29:43Speaker 7: Do you have any as a shooter?
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: Do you have any sort of superstition if you're practicing,
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: like you can't leave on a miss or like, what
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: are what are your superstitions?
- 1:29:51Speaker 17: I feel like that one's kind of an unwritten rule.
- 1:29:53Speaker 17: Most basketball players kind of follow that one. But really
- 1:29:57Speaker 17: just working out as much as I can. Not really
- 1:29:59Speaker 17: any superstision, but just getting a lot of time in
- 1:30:01Speaker 17: the gym.
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: How often do you change shoes out? Do you play
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: game shoes same shoes every time? Or are think the
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: same shoe but newer ones every few games.
- 1:30:10Speaker 17: No, I do play in a ton of different shoes,
- 1:30:13Speaker 17: but there's no really rhythm to it for me. Unless
- 1:30:16Speaker 17: they start to hurt my feet, you know, I'll change
- 1:30:17Speaker 17: it up, but no real rhythm for me.
- 1:30:20Speaker 7: What age did you grow over six feet?
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: I would say sophomore in high school.
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: Probably freshmen, and it's a six foot freshman, we'll say freshmen.
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: Were they having you run a little more like five
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: to four like posts that you were taller than everybody
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: else or were you always a guy that could stretch
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: the chord a little bit?
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: Yeah? I never played a post.
- 1:30:40Speaker 7: Even though you were taller than other kids.
- 1:30:42Speaker 17: Nah, I never played a post position.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: We find a lot of times that a lot of
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: the guards that grew early played a version of post,
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: and some of the post guys that grew late played
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: a guard, So those skills become a bit intermixed, and
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: then they just become.
- 1:30:57Speaker 7: A well all around basketball player.
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: Yeah, they have all those skills.
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: If the coach was.
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: To say to you, all right, Tom, get in, we
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: need to post up one of these guys at BC
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: one on one.
- 1:31:07Speaker 7: Could you do it?
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: Yeah? I could do it.
- 1:31:08Speaker 7: Yeah you feel comfortable with that?
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:31:10Speaker 17: I feel like how would you call for the ball?
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: No? Different way?
- 1:31:16Speaker 7: So you just want them to see you and give
- 1:31:17Speaker 7: it to you.
- 1:31:17Speaker 6: Yeah, you know you like.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: That?
- 1:31:21Speaker 7: Maybe that's after you ever ever hit about with that? Again?
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: Couple times high schoot.
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: Hey, do you guys ever practice with the other team's ball?
- 1:31:28Speaker 17: We do actually really just to get get used to
- 1:31:30Speaker 17: what we're going to be playing with. Like if we
- 1:31:32Speaker 17: go to an Adida school or whatever, a different type
- 1:31:34Speaker 17: of brand will play.
- 1:31:35Speaker 7: With their ball because it feels different like all the Yeah.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: It really can depending on the different ball.
- 1:31:40Speaker 7: Or some of them square at some schools they're not even.
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: Do you go and do you call the school and
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: be like, hey, can we get some of those balls
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: or do you just go buy your own.
- 1:31:50Speaker 17: I'm not sure how it works. I'm pretty sure equipment
- 1:31:52Speaker 17: manager or order some or something like that.
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: But we head over to Dick's waiting to do this balls.
- 1:32:00Speaker 7: So you're a sophomore this year.
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: Also, you've had a bit of time here in Tallahassee
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: to because tallah Hassy is awesome.
- 1:32:06Speaker 7: We've been here a bunch of times.
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: Tell me about the town and what it's like to
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: go to college here.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: It's great.
- 1:32:10Speaker 17: I think it's cool because it is a college town.
- 1:32:13Speaker 17: But there also other some stuff that's going on too,
- 1:32:15Speaker 17: Like the capital is downtown. But I think it's cool
- 1:32:18Speaker 17: that the you know, real college town where a lot
- 1:32:21Speaker 17: of the people stay and go out and whatever, is
- 1:32:23Speaker 17: right next to the campus too, So I think it's
- 1:32:25Speaker 17: a good mix.
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: The arena and we've been to twenty arenas this year,
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: this is one of the most legit arenas. Yeah, and
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: I know a SEC is such a basketball conference and
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: you guys, you definitely want to have your flex when
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: people come. But to be in this arena and to
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: look up, what is it like when the crowd is
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: just on.
- 1:32:43Speaker 6: Well.
- 1:32:44Speaker 17: Fortunately we've had a couple of really packed games this
- 1:32:46Speaker 17: year and it's awesome. It gets real loud, and I
- 1:32:49Speaker 17: really just think it's a great arena, Like the shape
- 1:32:51Speaker 17: of it, it's really it's really nice.
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: Yeah, when you were playing high school basketball in Ohio,
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: most points in a high school.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: Game thirty six thirty five?
- 1:33:02Speaker 7: Did they pull you early or was that like buzzer
- 1:33:04Speaker 7: beater too?
- 1:33:04Speaker 17: No, that was a game that they pulled me early.
- 1:33:06Speaker 17: We were off by Wow, you're.
- 1:33:07Speaker 7: Pulled on the first quarter. That's word on the street.
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: Hey, what's recruiting like? Like when you know people come.
- 1:33:15Speaker 7: To your house and write letters and all that.
- 1:33:17Speaker 8: And do you feel pressure like, oh man, I got
- 1:33:19Speaker 8: to tell them something now or what's that pressure?
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: Like?
- 1:33:21Speaker 17: Yeah, that's actually something that nobody really told me before
- 1:33:24Speaker 17: it happened. You kind of feel a little bit of
- 1:33:25Speaker 17: pressure to, you know, because they're putting so much pressure
- 1:33:28Speaker 17: on you and talking to you, you kind of have
- 1:33:29Speaker 17: to reciprocating sometimes, you know, just like a seventeen year
- 1:33:32Speaker 17: old sixteen year old kid, you don't really know how
- 1:33:33Speaker 17: to handle it. But my dad was a longtime college coach,
- 1:33:36Speaker 17: so he kind of prepared me a little bit for it.
- 1:33:38Speaker 7: I feel like you're dating a bunch of girls that
- 1:33:39Speaker 7: wants to you, like you.
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: Just want to kind of keep you're not committed to all.
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: You're not committed to anyone, like it's not your girlfriend,
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: but you're kind of just keeping some some of them
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: you don't care as much about. But you know, you
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: don't want to treat him back, right, he still won't
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: be nice because they were nice to you.
- 1:33:53Speaker 7: But then you have that one that you're.
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: Like, I think this is the one that I want
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: to be with the rest of my life.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: Is that what it's like? Kind of but it's older
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: men and it's not Yeah, yeah.
- 1:34:00Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah. Seminoles are just such a legendary brand.
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: I mean even before we were alive, Like it's as
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: for as long as college sports, I feel like has
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: been massive in American culture, this seminole icon has existed.
- 1:34:15Speaker 7: Pretty cool to wear that on the uniform.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really awesome.
- 1:34:18Speaker 17: And they kind of tell us the background of it too,
- 1:34:19Speaker 17: Like you say, it's not a mascot, it's a symbol
- 1:34:22Speaker 17: represents people that you know didn't give up, So it's
- 1:34:24Speaker 17: a it's really really special.
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: So when you're coming off the bench and you I
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: don't ever see you like stretching over on the side
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: before it calls you, and it' sound like you're doing
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: peepe together down over there. So how do you stay when,
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: like even last night a coach called you in for
- 1:34:38Speaker 2: a few min Like, how do you stay loose or
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: can you get loose?
- 1:34:42Speaker 6: Or do you just live? I'm not loose.
- 1:34:43Speaker 7: I got to get it while I'm out there.
- 1:34:44Speaker 17: I mean, sometimes you got to get on the bike.
- 1:34:46Speaker 17: But I think it's really just a mindset, like staying
- 1:34:48Speaker 17: ready to go in whenever, because you know, different different game,
- 1:34:51Speaker 17: different scouting, different matchup, they could need different things. So
- 1:34:55Speaker 17: just got to stay ready.
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: If Russia had a missile point at America, no listen,
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: follow me here. We switched switch, Here we go. And
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: they said, if Tom is shooting wide open nobody in
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: the gym three pointers, if he can make eight out
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: of ten, we won't shoot America with the missile. Could
- 1:35:09Speaker 2: you make edit ten? Unguarded, Yeah, okay, we're not gonna
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: do it. They're not pointy at us. I just wanted
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: what he confidence.
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: Wise, I was ready to do it, okay, See I
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: knew he was.
- 1:35:15Speaker 7: I could tell like he was ready to go. All right,
- 1:35:17Speaker 7: final two questions, Eddie, Yeah, what's road.
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: Life like, you know with a team?
- 1:35:20Speaker 8: I was, I was like, it's a lot of you
- 1:35:22Speaker 8: guys that at nights probably like get bored.
- 1:35:24Speaker 7: Do you guys ever think like who let's seek out
- 1:35:25Speaker 7: or are you just like all business.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: At all time? Well?
- 1:35:28Speaker 17: Really, I think they kind of managed that. Well, we
- 1:35:29Speaker 17: don't travel too many nights early, and we really don't
- 1:35:33Speaker 17: have a lot of downtime between meetings and stuff. So
- 1:35:35Speaker 17: we'll fly in the night before the game pretty late,
- 1:35:39Speaker 17: have a meeting, have a meal, go to sleep, and
- 1:35:41Speaker 17: then like so it's pretty quick.
- 1:35:43Speaker 8: You guys go into like a pizza hut all like
- 1:35:46Speaker 8: they line up the whole salabar.
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: It's like somebody else shows up, like who all the
- 1:35:50Speaker 2: tall guys in the salibar?
- 1:35:51Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: No, I don't think that'd be very efficient.
- 1:35:53Speaker 7: Do you ever do a salabar?
- 1:35:55Speaker 6: No, that's the difference.
- 1:35:57Speaker 7: Yeah, you even know what a salabar is.
- 1:35:59Speaker 2: See back in the day at Pizza High or any place,
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: there would just be an island and they have all
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: the salad stuff and.
- 1:36:06Speaker 7: You would go and you grab it.
- 1:36:07Speaker 2: Then think all COVID happened, and they eliminated all the
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: rest of them.
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: Do you know what is Yeah?
- 1:36:13Speaker 2: Yeah, final question for you, what do you feel like
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: your ceiling is in basketball? Do you want to be
- 1:36:20Speaker 2: next level? You want to be a coach like or
- 1:36:23Speaker 2: maybe not in basketball at all.
- 1:36:24Speaker 17: I definitely want to stay in basketball. My goal has
- 1:36:27Speaker 17: always just been to go as far as the game
- 1:36:29Speaker 17: will take me, whether that's playing professionally in the States, overseas,
- 1:36:33Speaker 17: and then eventually coach after that.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: So I definitely think I can be a professional.
- 1:36:37Speaker 7: Did your dad call you after a game?
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:36:39Speaker 17: They actually live live pretty close so they can for
- 1:36:42Speaker 17: the game.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: Yeah, they'll talk to me. We'll get some dinner.
- 1:36:45Speaker 6: Yeah, awesome.
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: Well I appreciate your time.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: Yeah, appreciate you.
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: Let's go all right, all right, thank you guys. I'm
- 1:36:52Speaker 2: gonna take my Josh Allen Knowles. I'm gonna go ahead
- 1:36:55Speaker 2: and take my Luca car that I've had up here
- 1:36:56Speaker 2: for like three weeks home two. That's great to too, right.
- 1:36:59Speaker 2: I'm going to get somewhere and just put these graded
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: cards and just keep them forever cool. I'm not gonna
- 1:37:03Speaker 2: do a whole baseball card collection, lost, I mean, I
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: wish I could find that whole crap. I kept them wanting,
- 1:37:08Speaker 2: but they were all I'd get rated back ray to.
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: I give you outrated to, oh the old one from
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: when I was like keeping my butt or just in
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: your backpack.
- 1:37:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: I would just take them out of the folder though,
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: But I did order some card holders from Amazon today,
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: so when we do send them out, they're already in
- 1:37:22Speaker 2: a holder, so they take them out and great them.
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: You can't just put them in an envelope. I gave
- 1:37:27Speaker 2: Eddie a did you look at those cards they gave you?
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: I give dd a big stack, like I give you
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: a tani Otani, but he's with the Angels. I think
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: it's a rookie card. Well did you give it to me?
- 1:37:36Speaker 2: Because you said you were going to keep it? But
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: then I then I forgot, but then I forgot and
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: I was like he can have.
- 1:37:40Speaker 8: It, and then I and then I looked at it
- 1:37:41Speaker 8: on the steps, sitting there, and I'm like their cameras everywhere.
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: O Tani take it. Panini Angels twenty twenty one or
- 1:37:52Speaker 2: it's probably twice twenty one. That card because it's a
- 1:37:58Speaker 2: it's a standard card. It's worth a thinking worth about forty.
- 1:38:01Speaker 8: Bucks nice ungraded? Hey, can I throw that into your
- 1:38:05Speaker 8: graded pile?
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: You need to just make sure and see what it is, okay,
- 1:38:09Speaker 2: because it could be way less too, But I thought.
- 1:38:11Speaker 8: It was pretty coold. There was a oh TONI I
- 1:38:14Speaker 8: also have a d on that's that's pretty good. I
- 1:38:15Speaker 8: might send that one with you too.
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: You're not sending anything with me. It'll be a group deal, man,
- 1:38:19Speaker 2: there's no deal. I do have video on my shoes, though.
- 1:38:23Speaker 2: When can we send these off? Kevin still working on it,
- 1:38:27Speaker 2: but well, let's say we don't know anybody, Okay, when
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: do we send them off as soon as you want?
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: And is there a way to fat like, can you
- 1:38:32Speaker 2: pay more to fast track it? Because it's always a
- 1:38:34Speaker 2: way to expit idea?
- 1:38:35Speaker 5: Probably?
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: Yeah, how do you think the rich does it? That's
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: what I'm trying to figure out.
- 1:38:38Speaker 9: I did that with our stickers.
- 1:38:39Speaker 2: Do you get them done? Yeah? You get the helmets done?
- 1:38:41Speaker 9: Oh no, they're gonna the stickers are going to be
- 1:38:43Speaker 9: in Thursday. But that was the quickest I.
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: Could get them, got it. I thought you could just
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: make them in Oh no, you don't have a d printer? No,
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: you got you gotta print like Kinko's and have them
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: make stickers. No, Kiko still thing. I don't know, is
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: it not for like the football ones? Is kinko still thing?
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, I think it's just fed X. Now
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: fed X they have like inside of fed X you
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: can go prince stuff.
- 1:39:07Speaker 8: It was Kinkos, then FedEx Kinkos, and I guess now
- 1:39:10Speaker 8: it's just fed X.
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: Okay, but read what your proposition?
- 1:39:19Speaker 10: Right?
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:39:20Speaker 3: The twenty five whistles a punch shop here. So as
- 1:39:23Speaker 3: you know, I I did, as you know I did.
- 1:39:27Speaker 3: I did some breaks yesterday.
- 1:39:28Speaker 2: Did you anything? Hey? Did you win that one you
- 1:39:30Speaker 2: thought you might have won? They delivered your package? The
- 1:39:33Speaker 2: New ENGLD Patriots one?
- 1:39:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I sent it. I sent it to Kevin.
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: It was just it was just some cards.
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: Okay, So you didn't win it, didn't want anything? Got
- 1:39:40Speaker 2: they send you the cards? Got it?
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:39:41Speaker 9: But yesterday I hit I hit four jerseys that I
- 1:39:45Speaker 9: sent to you.
- 1:39:45Speaker 2: Oh my god, you hit four? Did you what you
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: spend away to? Much called the line?
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: No?
- 1:39:49Speaker 9: But lie, no, this is this is this is what
- 1:39:51Speaker 9: I'm saying.
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: Okay, let me look hold on, do you send them now?
- 1:39:53Speaker 6: No?
- 1:39:53Speaker 9: Yeah, I sent them to yesterday.
- 1:39:55Speaker 2: But you didn't see them, dude.
- 1:39:56Speaker 9: Yah, you didn't see them.
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: That sounds like dude, Okay, I guess her not hold on,
- 1:39:59Speaker 2: I have dude, I don't have any jerseys from you? Really?
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: Oh no, it's another Bobby. No, I have nothing from you.
- 1:40:05Speaker 9: Oh that's weird.
- 1:40:06Speaker 2: Okay, look, just just just so we know, read and
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: I text a lot and we send videos and he
- 1:40:10Speaker 2: sends edited videos. But I have no jerseys from him.
- 1:40:12Speaker 2: Where are they on your scent?
- 1:40:14Speaker 6: Right here?
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: Oh it's it's in words. It's not a picture or anything.
- 1:40:18Speaker 2: Oh oh at the bottom you said, got it?
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: So but those I didn't think they weren't that great
- 1:40:24Speaker 3: because they all suck.
- 1:40:25Speaker 2: Yeah they were customs but okay, not at all. What's
- 1:40:30Speaker 2: your question?
- 1:40:30Speaker 9: But I hit one.
- 1:40:31Speaker 2: They don't suck. I take that back. Yeah, let me
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: read you then though, real quick. Yeah. Zach Moss Colts.
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: But Zach Moss is now he's leaving the Colts. Zach
- 1:40:39Speaker 2: Moss just signed with see Bills. No, why am I
- 1:40:45Speaker 2: thinking Bills? Bengals? Bengals, that's right, because mixing got released. Okay, Okay,
- 1:40:48Speaker 2: Zach Moss, ah chan Dolphins. That's cool, that's cool. Yeah,
- 1:40:52Speaker 2: jack the Smith and Jig but pretty cool. Yeah, Shack
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: Thompson Panthers, I don't know that is he's a big yeah.
- 1:41:00Speaker 2: So so the if I were to have a favorite one,
- 1:41:03Speaker 2: it'd probably be the Jackson, Smith and Jig. But yeah,
- 1:41:06Speaker 2: that's okay. But but they're.
- 1:41:07Speaker 3: All Yes, I did one more after we finished. Oh
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: my god, I did one more.
- 1:41:12Speaker 2: You spend yesterday.
- 1:41:13Speaker 9: I don't even want to look. I don't even want
- 1:41:15Speaker 9: to look.
- 1:41:15Speaker 3: But that's what I'm saying is I want to retire,
- 1:41:18Speaker 3: so I just want my money back. But the one
- 1:41:20Speaker 3: that I hit, I haven't want some money back. No,
- 1:41:22Speaker 3: I mean, if you want to buy it from me,
- 1:41:24Speaker 3: the one I hit, go.
- 1:41:25Speaker 2: Ahead, ye send me a picture of don't say it,
- 1:41:26Speaker 2: send me a picture of it. Well, okay, picture of it.
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: I don't want to hear what it is first. I
- 1:41:31Speaker 2: want to react to it.
- 1:41:32Speaker 9: Okay, all right, is the proposition.
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: If you do this to me, I'll give it to you.
- 1:41:39Speaker 9: Okay on, hold on, here we go.
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: Now he sounds like Quagmire.
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: Okay, I'm I'm gonna try to sell those jerseys. But
- 1:41:46Speaker 3: this is the one, and it is a funk.
- 1:41:48Speaker 2: Oh, it's not a jersey.
- 1:41:49Speaker 9: I like funks and I didn't mean to.
- 1:41:51Speaker 2: Do it, but OK, hold on, don't don't say too much.
- 1:41:54Speaker 6: I'm not.
- 1:41:54Speaker 3: I just I just sent it to you. I meant
- 1:41:56Speaker 3: to do a jersey, but I did a funk go.
- 1:41:58Speaker 2: Oh that's cool. Oh yeah, it's a good one. You
- 1:42:01Speaker 2: just said that. Yeah, that's cool. That's it. No, no,
- 1:42:03Speaker 2: it's a good one. I've been really looking at the
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: funkos a lot, meaning I made some for myself too,
- 1:42:09Speaker 2: of me. Yeah, so what so don't say what it is?
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: But how much are you wanting for it?
- 1:42:17Speaker 9: Do you want any of the jerseys too?
- 1:42:20Speaker 2: I don't, and Jigbo I don't. I don't really want
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: any of this stuff. I have so much stuff. But
- 1:42:26Speaker 2: what what rare?
- 1:42:28Speaker 9: I'm not sure how much that's worth?
- 1:42:29Speaker 2: I know, but without knowing that three hundred dollars, I
- 1:42:32Speaker 2: mean I can get it on eBay cheaper.
- 1:42:34Speaker 9: Oh really yeah, two hundred dollars money?
- 1:42:38Speaker 2: Man, He's like, Man, this book you can listen. It's
- 1:42:41Speaker 2: a here it is. It's a Dan Marino signed funko.
- 1:42:45Speaker 2: Oh that's cool. That's really cool. Yeah, And so here's one.
- 1:42:49Speaker 2: What color is it read? Because this one here is
- 1:42:51Speaker 2: two ninety nine. Dan Marino number two fifteen.
- 1:42:53Speaker 9: Here, dang, I thought I said six hundred one.
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: It could have been a different one. But let's se
- 1:42:59Speaker 2: which one it is? You see here, dan Marino number
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: two fifteen, that's what yours is. Yep, that's a cool one.
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: You can get it for two ninety nine on eBay,
- 1:43:08Speaker 2: so you could sell it on eBay obviously, or do
- 1:43:11Speaker 2: you just need money now? I mean, I'll sell it
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: on eBay. Okay, I give you two hundred and four,
- 1:43:16Speaker 2: but I don't want to steal your money.
- 1:43:17Speaker 9: Oh you're not still on my money? Man?
- 1:43:20Speaker 2: It like that. I just mean I did.
- 1:43:23Speaker 9: I don't think I spent over two hundred dollars.
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: Yesterday to win four jerseys and a funko, you would
- 1:43:29Speaker 2: have to hit four or five. I saw you the ones.
- 1:43:33Speaker 9: We saw you lose two, not those, not killing.
- 1:43:35Speaker 2: Every other one you won except for the two that
- 1:43:37Speaker 2: we did.
- 1:43:39Speaker 9: Every other one except one.
- 1:43:41Speaker 2: Okay, So let's let's do the math here. So did
- 1:43:45Speaker 2: you ever win two at a time? No? I did not, Okay,
- 1:43:50Speaker 2: So did you do all divisions or any teams?
- 1:43:53Speaker 9: All divisions?
- 1:43:54Speaker 2: Something jerseys? If you're doing divisions at thirty five bucks each? Yeah,
- 1:44:00Speaker 2: thirty five is low usually forty. How much were they
- 1:44:04Speaker 2: You can do it for five bucks? You gonna yell
- 1:44:05Speaker 2: at me? Fine, No, I thought he's did, like, well,
- 1:44:07Speaker 2: sixty bucks. Even if we do thirty five bucks. Let's
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: even Morgan serve for say thirty bucks each. So four
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: ye times three, that's one hundred and twenty dollars for
- 1:44:15Speaker 2: the four jerseys. Now let's talk about the let's talk
- 1:44:17Speaker 2: about the times he lost.
- 1:44:18Speaker 9: What yeah, I know two of them. I did two divisions.
- 1:44:21Speaker 2: Well, let's say worry about that yet, okay, okay, or
- 1:44:23Speaker 2: we can have the sing now at the end, carry over. Yeah,
- 1:44:25Speaker 2: that's sixty bucks, Willey. At the end, you guys are
- 1:44:27Speaker 2: canceling a lot of five dollars there and little souls
- 1:44:29Speaker 2: so one so far as one to twenty in before
- 1:44:31Speaker 2: we put in the sixty just for the ones you want. Now,
- 1:44:33Speaker 2: you did lose, you said three lost three total? Okay,
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: at thirty bucks each, that would be ninety dollars. And
- 1:44:40Speaker 2: that's just so. Now you're at two ten.
- 1:44:43Speaker 9: That's why I didn't want to do the mass.
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: And that's just the jerseys, right, Yeah, because the funko
- 1:44:47Speaker 2: you got in yeah, probably was what it was forty five. Okay,
- 1:44:52Speaker 2: so let's just say forty. So you're at two fifty
- 1:44:55Speaker 2: there plus the sixty from earlier, which what was that
- 1:44:59Speaker 2: sixty f them? Are you about to do two jersey?
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: Or two divisions?
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: So you're at three ten for all of it.
- 1:45:05Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:45:05Speaker 2: So yesterday you spent three hundred and ten dollars.
- 1:45:07Speaker 9: Okay, I'll tell that two hundred.
- 1:45:08Speaker 2: That's being very that's being lenient. Yeah. So I tell
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: you what, I'll give you two fifty for all of it,
- 1:45:15Speaker 2: all of it.
- 1:45:16Speaker 9: I'll give that to you, man, Okay, all yours deal.
- 1:45:18Speaker 2: So you lost money on that, It's fine though.
- 1:45:21Speaker 9: I had my fun.
- 1:45:21Speaker 2: It was fun. It is fun, dude. It's not about
- 1:45:24Speaker 2: the money.
- 1:45:24Speaker 9: I need to retire again.
- 1:45:25Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:45:25Speaker 2: I'm gonna pay you two fifty right now. Okay, And
- 1:45:27Speaker 2: once I hit this, hey, shut.
- 1:45:29Speaker 8: Your mouth, read read, take a breath, think about what
- 1:45:33Speaker 8: you're doing.
- 1:45:33Speaker 2: Why would you be working against me right now?
- 1:45:35Speaker 5: I'm not.
