Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello everybody. Unfortunately we're having to join you this Saturday morning.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Donald Trump has launched a major regime change war with Iran.
- 0:07Speaker 1: This appears to be the full Monty Crystal. We have
- 0:11Speaker 1: the video that the President released at some two am
- 0:14Speaker 1: Eastern time where he declared this war. Let's take a
- 0:18Speaker 1: listen to some of the justification.
- 0:21Speaker 2: A short time ago, the United States military began major
- 0:26Speaker 2: combat operations in Iran. Our objective is to defend the
- 0:32Speaker 2: American people by eliminating eminent threats from the Iranian regime,
- 0:39Speaker 2: a vicious group of very hard, terrible people. It's menacing
- 0:46Speaker 2: activities directly in danger the United States, our troops, our
- 0:49Speaker 2: bases overseas, and our allies throughout the world. For forty
- 0:54Speaker 2: seven years, the Iranian regime has chanted death to America
- 0:58Speaker 2: and waged an unending campaign of bloodshed and mass murder,
- 1:04Speaker 2: targeting the United States, our troops, and the innocent people
- 1:08Speaker 2: in many, many countries. Among the regime's very first acts
- 1:13Speaker 2: was to back a violent takeover of the US embassy
- 1:16Speaker 2: in Tehran, holding dozens of American hostages for four hundred
- 1:21Speaker 2: and forty four days. In nineteen eighty three, Irans proxies
- 1:25Speaker 2: carried out the Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut that killed
- 1:29Speaker 2: two hundred and forty one American military personnel in two thousand.
- 1:35Speaker 2: They knew and were probably involved with the attack on
- 1:38Speaker 2: the USS coal many died. Iranian forces killed and maimed
- 1:44Speaker 2: hundreds of American service members in Iraq. The regime's proxies
- 1:49Speaker 2: have continued to launch countless attacks against American forces in
- 1:55Speaker 2: recent So I was going.
- 1:58Speaker 3: To say a little bit of using the embassy to yeah,
- 2:01Speaker 3: to justify this insane right.
- 2:03Speaker 1: So I think the most significant part of that statement
- 2:06Speaker 1: was obviously, even though they're calling this a preemptive strike,
- 2:10Speaker 1: it is a you know, not actually a preemptive strike.
- 2:12Speaker 1: They're using a long historical justification thing. This is a
- 2:16Speaker 1: forty seven year war. This is a war explicitly now
- 2:20Speaker 1: declared as regime change. But I think that the most
- 2:23Speaker 1: significant part of the President's statement was the open acknowledgment
- 2:27Speaker 1: that American lives are at risk and they may be
- 2:30Speaker 1: lost as a result of this. I know that we
- 2:31Speaker 1: have a clip is a little bit later on in
- 2:33Speaker 1: that speech. It's a full eight minutes, so we're not
- 2:35Speaker 1: going to play at all for you.
- 2:36Speaker 2: She seeks to kill. The lives of courageous American heroes
- 2:41Speaker 2: may be lost, and we may have casualties that often
- 2:45Speaker 2: happens in war, but we're doing this not for now.
- 2:48Speaker 2: We're doing this for the future, and it is a
- 2:51Speaker 2: noble mission. We pray for every service member as they
- 2:56Speaker 2: selflessly risk their lives to ensure that Americans are our
- 3:00Speaker 2: children will never be threatened by a nuclear armed Iran.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Right, and so this is an open declaration of a
- 3:08Speaker 1: regime changed war. Crystal, do we have that statement? From
- 3:12Speaker 1: this morning? Around four am, a Washington Post reporter was
- 3:16Speaker 1: able to reach President Trump by phone, where he didn't
- 3:20Speaker 1: even make any pretense about the nuclear program, about the
- 3:23Speaker 1: missile program, even about regional proxies. He said in a
- 3:28Speaker 1: brief phone call, his main concern is freedom for the
- 3:31Speaker 1: Iranian people, and the US is working with Iran to
- 3:34Speaker 1: make a place that is safe. All I want is
- 3:37Speaker 1: freedom for the people. This is two thousand and five,
- 3:40Speaker 1: George W. Bush inaugural. Obviously, you know you and I
- 3:43Speaker 1: are still absorbing the news. But it's catastrophic already. We
- 3:47Speaker 1: see massive retaliatory strikes across the entire region. It's a
- 3:52Speaker 1: full blown regional war and the war is only blasted
- 3:54Speaker 1: for six hours now or so, and it's a catastrophe
- 3:57Speaker 1: I think, strategically for the United States, for the Iranian people,
- 4:01Speaker 1: and for the American people, for everybody really who lives
- 4:03Speaker 1: in the region.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Yeah, and a direct you know, I mean, in direct
- 4:07Speaker 3: contravention of Trump's positioning on the campaign is so I'm
- 4:09Speaker 3: going to be the peace candidate. And there was all
- 4:11Speaker 3: kinds of don't vote for kamalast you'll send your sons
- 4:14Speaker 3: to war, And now you literally have him out here
- 4:17Speaker 3: basically saying, yeah, your sons and daughters may die for Israel,
- 4:20Speaker 3: because let's be real about who really wants this war,
- 4:24Speaker 3: and it's Israel. And they've been pushing for decades at
- 4:27Speaker 3: this point and found an easy mark here with Trump,
- 4:31Speaker 3: in spite of the fact that his own top military
- 4:33Speaker 3: advisors were saying this could go very poorly for the US.
- 4:37Speaker 3: We think that this is a bad idea, that there
- 4:39Speaker 3: is not some limited strike option here that Iran because they,
- 4:43Speaker 3: you know, of course, obviously see this as existential. They're
- 4:47Speaker 3: when to throw everything that they have to be able
- 4:50Speaker 3: to preserve their own lives and their own government. So
- 4:54Speaker 3: this is not a Venezuela, you know, quick in, quick count,
- 4:58Speaker 3: grab a leader and done. Not that I think that
- 5:01Speaker 3: that's really that end of the story with Venezuela, but
- 5:02Speaker 3: that's how they perceive it. At this point. This does
- 5:05Speaker 3: not look like it's going to be another twelve day
- 5:07Speaker 3: war where again relatively limited in terms of, hey, we're
- 5:10Speaker 3: going to take count these specific nuclear sites and move on. No,
- 5:15Speaker 3: this is a far reaching, already regional war where the
- 5:21Speaker 3: justifications offered in that you know, eight minute speech and
- 5:25Speaker 3: then talking to reporters afterwards, have ranged from everything to
- 5:28Speaker 3: the nuclear program, the missiles, the revolution itself, the nineteen
- 5:33Speaker 3: seventy nine you know, embassy kidnapping of Americans in the embassy,
- 5:38Speaker 3: the long litany of things that he listed out there
- 5:41Speaker 3: to hey, we just want human rights and freedom for
- 5:43Speaker 3: the Iranian people, and we have a new justification, which
- 5:47Speaker 3: is he's claiming that the Iranians interfered in the election,
- 5:50Speaker 3: so we can throw you know a little bit of
- 5:52Speaker 3: like pertectual election interference and use that be able to
- 5:56Speaker 3: use that claim later on to mess with the twenty
- 5:58Speaker 3: twenty six elections here as well, which appears to be
- 6:01Speaker 3: part of the plot. I mean, it's there's so many
- 6:05Speaker 3: layers of dystopia here that it's hard to wrap your
- 6:07Speaker 3: head around. I do want to just set a little
- 6:09Speaker 3: bit more of the context here for people who, you know,
- 6:12Speaker 3: thinking about how we got to this place, because once
- 6:15Speaker 3: again you had Trump posturing like we're going through this
- 6:19Speaker 3: diplomatic process. We had these meetings in Geneva. This week,
- 6:22Speaker 3: the Omani's came out and said, the Iranians offered a
- 6:27Speaker 3: deal that went far beyond the JCPOA that was the
- 6:30Speaker 3: Obama era nuclear deal. They offered, you know, these concessions
- 6:35Speaker 3: that went way beyond what Obama was able to achieve,
- 6:38Speaker 3: thinking that could potentially give Trump and ount to say,
- 6:41Speaker 3: you know what, I did so much better than Barack
- 6:43Speaker 3: Obama could never look at me the art of the
- 6:46Speaker 3: deal and give himself an out. But what we're hearing
- 6:49Speaker 3: from Israeli officials is that once again this diplomacy was
- 6:53Speaker 3: just a ruse, that this was planned months ago, the
- 6:57Speaker 3: date was set weeks ago, and in in fact, all
- 7:00Speaker 3: of this was just a dodge to wait until the
- 7:03Speaker 3: time of their choosing. So a war of choice. Anyone
- 7:07Speaker 3: you hear out there saying preemptive strike, blah blah, blah.
- 7:10Speaker 3: You should kindly disregard everything they have to say after this,
- 7:13Speaker 3: because this is an aggressive, illegal war of choice from
- 7:17Speaker 3: this president An the Israelis, and there will be massive
- 7:22Speaker 3: like recaer cussions that we cannot even imagine right now,
- 7:25Speaker 3: that plan out for years and decades to come.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Yes, the strikes are now planned for many, many days
- 7:30Speaker 1: to continue. It appears initially this morning we're hearing from
- 7:34Speaker 1: the US military there will be some rolling types of
- 7:36Speaker 1: strikes one to two days of strikes, reassessment for battle damage,
- 7:39Speaker 1: one to two days of strikes. Obviously, the enemy also
- 7:42Speaker 1: gets a vote, and they are having their vote right now.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Do we want to go ahead and put the list
- 7:46Speaker 1: of countries that Iran has bombed already after the initial
- 7:50Speaker 1: strikes that happened on Tehran early two am our time,
- 7:54Speaker 1: so middle of the day, for all of them, the list,
- 7:57Speaker 1: I believe, Yep, Here we have it. We have a
- 7:59Speaker 1: number in Bahrain, we have a number in Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Jordan.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Their videos coming out are unbelievable already to anybody who
- 8:11Speaker 1: has visited or lived in the region. The most striking
- 8:15Speaker 1: is exactly the one that you can see there on
- 8:17Speaker 1: the screen that was where the fifth fleet actually is Crystal.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Can we put the US soldier reacting? I mean, you know,
- 8:24Speaker 1: these are not scenes that you really ever would want
- 8:27Speaker 1: to see. The next one that we're about to show
- 8:29Speaker 1: you is an American presumably an American service member, some
- 8:32Speaker 1: American who is stationed in Bahrain, and you can actually
- 8:36Speaker 1: hear him react live as a Iranian suicide shah head
- 8:41Speaker 1: drone makes direct contact with a radar installation in Manama.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Can why don't we make that video us? Yeah, and
- 8:48Speaker 1: then we can see oh shit, oh.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Shit, oh oh shit, oh fuck, oh my god, oh
- 9:11Speaker 4: do fuck me? A fucking missile actually got through others more.
- 9:16Speaker 4: I gotta get the fuck out of.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Here, so you could see that was from an Iranian
- 9:20Speaker 1: suicide drone. He mistook that as a missile. There's other
- 9:23Speaker 1: videos actually showing the direct impact. These are scenes that
- 9:26Speaker 1: anybody familiar with the battlefield in Ukraine will see. So
- 9:29Speaker 1: they have an asymmetric capability already. Many of their missiles
- 9:33Speaker 1: have been intercepted in the Gulf. We don't have any
- 9:36Speaker 1: confirmed American casualties right now, but to zoom out a
- 9:39Speaker 1: little bit more, I can confirm the Iranians delivered a
- 9:42Speaker 1: message on letter, specifically to Jared Kushner and to Steve
- 9:46Speaker 1: wick Coop, saying that they will not pursue a nuclear weapon.
- 9:49Speaker 1: The Omani foreign minister was actually on television yesterday confirming
- 9:54Speaker 1: exactly what you said, that they offered to give up
- 9:56Speaker 1: their entire enriched uranium stockpile, provide IAEA inspectors into the country,
- 10:03Speaker 1: and basically to end this entire charade. But if you've
- 10:06Speaker 1: been watching our program, I do think it's important that
- 10:08Speaker 1: you all know the goalposts have all moved on behalf
- 10:11Speaker 1: of the Israelis. Originally it was supposed to be about
- 10:14Speaker 1: the nuclear weapon. I also, I finally have some more
- 10:17Speaker 1: context for Trump saying that the Iranians won't say the
- 10:20Speaker 1: magic words about how they won't pursue a nuclear weapon.
- 10:23Speaker 1: He believes that any enrichment whatsoever, even for like medical isotopes,
- 10:27Speaker 1: is itself a declaration of a nuclear weapon. So just
- 10:30Speaker 1: so you all understand where that term came from. I
- 10:34Speaker 1: also do think it's important now to see that diplomacy
- 10:37Speaker 1: under this administration can never be trusted. I mean, we
- 10:41Speaker 1: all knew that it was kind of a joke. Of course,
- 10:44Speaker 1: the Jared Kushner and Steve Wikoff negotiations. The JCPOA came
- 10:47Speaker 1: across the finish line. After two and a half years
- 10:50Speaker 1: of the most sophisticated experts in the US government on
- 10:52Speaker 1: nuclear issues, it was just two real estate guys, one
- 10:55Speaker 1: of whom is the son in law of the president.
- 10:57Speaker 1: They didn't even really know what they were doing. It's
- 11:00Speaker 1: all pretextual, right exactly. It was all pretextual for a
- 11:03Speaker 1: planned operation that is now here. I also think it's
- 11:07Speaker 1: very important to underscore that what the administration has done
- 11:10Speaker 1: by doing the full Monty of regime change, there's no
- 11:13Speaker 1: off ram from here. The Iranians are fighting for their survival.
- 11:16Speaker 1: There has been no offer. They are saying freedom overthrow.
- 11:20Speaker 1: We have reports already this morning that Ayatola Hamani was
- 11:23Speaker 1: actually targeted by the United States and Israel in a
- 11:26Speaker 1: targeted assassination. We don't yet know what the result of
- 11:29Speaker 1: that is, whether he is alive or dead. Many senior
- 11:33Speaker 1: members of the IRGC, the Runian defense minister, and others.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Iranian state media saying that they have been killed. And
- 11:39Speaker 1: you know, if you've been watching our coverage, they are
- 11:41Speaker 1: prepared for this. They knew that some ninety percent of
- 11:43Speaker 1: their command and control was going to get decimated, and
- 11:46Speaker 1: they also clearly had pre approved strike packages across the
- 11:49Speaker 1: entire region. The reason that they're doing that is they
- 11:53Speaker 1: know that this is now a war of this is
- 11:55Speaker 1: an existential thing for the regime. You have to go
- 11:58Speaker 1: all out try to turn it into a real war
- 12:00Speaker 1: as much of a nightmare for the United States. I
- 12:03Speaker 1: also think it's important, you know, to even take it back,
- 12:06Speaker 1: as you said, you know, it's not exactly political times
- 12:09Speaker 1: right now when so many lives are at stake, but
- 12:12Speaker 1: this is the most profound betrayal I think of any president,
- 12:16Speaker 1: from the campaign to the actions in his administration, and
- 12:20Speaker 1: in particular the vice president and many of the other
- 12:23Speaker 1: people the so called anti war movement. These are people
- 12:26Speaker 1: who directly looked Americans in the face. Tulci Gabbard, I
- 12:30Speaker 1: think we should add to that list. Who said Stephen Miller,
- 12:33Speaker 1: they said, Kamala will send your sons to war. Donald
- 12:35Speaker 1: Trump is a candidate of peace. That was always a
- 12:38Speaker 1: little bit ridiculous because we knew that he was going
- 12:40Speaker 1: to be pro Iran but or sorry, pro Israel. But
- 12:42Speaker 1: I don't think anybody anybody thought a full blown war
- 12:46Speaker 1: of choice on the Iranian on the Iranian regime was
- 12:49Speaker 1: ever in the cards, and you know, I look, we'll
- 12:53Speaker 1: ruminate on that, I think for many years to come
- 12:56Speaker 1: and exactly how that happened, And I guess now is
- 12:58Speaker 1: not exactly the time. But I'm so disgusted with this administration,
- 13:06Speaker 1: with so many of the people who I knew personally,
- 13:08Speaker 1: who looked me in the face over many years told
- 13:11Speaker 1: us that this was things they believed. Jokes on me
- 13:14Speaker 1: for believing them. And I also I'm really terrified about
- 13:19Speaker 1: where this brings us, not just in terms of the region,
- 13:23Speaker 1: think about where we are. This country is now at
- 13:26Speaker 1: war with Iran, embroiled in a full blown regional conflict,
- 13:30Speaker 1: with no congressional authorization, no debate. How many times did
- 13:34Speaker 1: we say over the last preceding years, ninety percent of
- 13:36Speaker 1: Americans had no idea any of this was happening. Carricer
- 13:39Speaker 1: strike groups that were on there where there. Many of
- 13:41Speaker 1: them are waking up and all they have is a
- 13:44Speaker 1: Twitter video released by the president at two AM. As
- 13:47Speaker 1: of right now, the President is not scheduled to make
- 13:49Speaker 1: any public remarks. That is how much contempt that they
- 13:52Speaker 1: have for all of us is that they don't have
- 13:53Speaker 1: to explain their actions. They can launch this war completely
- 13:57Speaker 1: of choice. Our Congress is a joke absent for ro Kana.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Everybody in the Democrat and the Republican Party who you
- 14:05Speaker 1: know even remotely is upset about this, is like, but
- 14:08Speaker 1: what about the process? Will anybody think of the process
- 14:11Speaker 1: and of the strategic end there's no strategic endgame Trump
- 14:14Speaker 1: said it. It's about regime change. How we avoid getting
- 14:19Speaker 1: into a broader conflict? I have no idea, I truly
- 14:23Speaker 1: have no idea how it is.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Because from the beginning, if you declare that the goal
- 14:29Speaker 3: of the mission is for the government to collapse, and
- 14:31Speaker 3: by the way, Voice of America Persia is up on
- 14:35Speaker 3: air telling people to rise up against the regime and
- 14:38Speaker 3: you know, throw off the yoke of their oppression blah
- 14:40Speaker 3: blah blah. So if you don't achieve that, then you've failed.
- 14:43Speaker 3: And do you think that this president is just going
- 14:45Speaker 3: to walk away and take that ol? Of course he's
- 14:47Speaker 3: not so. Look, I mean, I am always nervous when
- 14:53Speaker 3: I bring up the Israeli equation here, simply because I
- 14:56Speaker 3: do not want to deny this president any agency. Right,
- 14:59Speaker 3: these are his decisions. He is fully and completely responsible
- 15:03Speaker 3: for them. Ntan Yahoo has successfully achieved and ensnared this
- 15:09Speaker 3: president in the trap that he has been trying to
- 15:11Speaker 3: ensnare the you know, American people and the United States
- 15:14Speaker 3: of America in for decades. It's happened, It's done. The
- 15:18Speaker 3: trap is now closed because Trump has said the end
- 15:21Speaker 3: goal is for this government to fall. So what is
- 15:26Speaker 3: that going to mean going forward? How are we going
- 15:29Speaker 3: to achieve that? Because it is highly unlikely that you're
- 15:34Speaker 3: going to be able to achieve it simply with airstrikes
- 15:37Speaker 3: where we can you know, fly over, drop some bombs
- 15:40Speaker 3: and get out and you know, and not actually be
- 15:44Speaker 3: on the ground. That is the sort of thing that
- 15:47Speaker 3: would require an actual ground invasion. Because think about it,
- 15:51Speaker 3: this government. Yes they've been weakened by our economic sanctions
- 15:55Speaker 3: of economic warfare. Yes, they've been weakened by the Twelve
- 15:57Speaker 3: Day War. Yes, they're weakened by the fact that there
- 15:59Speaker 3: is a significant amount of the population that is very
- 16:02Speaker 3: unhappy with them. But they have also survived for damn
- 16:06Speaker 3: near fifty years with the US wanting them gone and
- 16:10Speaker 3: wanting them dead the entire time. So do not think
- 16:14Speaker 3: that this is just going to be some quick and
- 16:16Speaker 3: easy thing where we can drop a few bombs and
- 16:19Speaker 3: they're going to say, oh, you're right, we're going to go,
- 16:21Speaker 3: and you know, glorious freedom will ultimately rain. Let me
- 16:24Speaker 3: put you know this statement from the Iranians up here,
- 16:27Speaker 3: just to get a sense of you know what they're saying.
- 16:29Speaker 3: This is Sardar Jabbari, advisor of the Comander in Chief
- 16:32Speaker 3: of the IRGC. He says Trump should understand this clearly,
- 16:35Speaker 3: what we launched today were our last stock missiles. What
- 16:38Speaker 3: comes next our systems and weapons He has never seen before.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Now this may be bluster, we don't know, but clearly
- 16:45Speaker 3: already and this was something we talked about and we anticipated.
- 16:49Speaker 3: They are hitting back much harder than we have ever
- 16:52Speaker 3: seen before, with the range of targets that they are striking,
- 16:56Speaker 3: with the threats to close down these strait of horm moves,
- 16:58Speaker 3: which would have huge, huge economic reverberations. You already have
- 17:04Speaker 3: a number of shipping companies suspending any sort of travel
- 17:08Speaker 3: in the region. Of course, air travel is shut down
- 17:10Speaker 3: in the region as well, So we are already at
- 17:14Speaker 3: full scale regional war with and very hard to see
- 17:20Speaker 3: what the off ramp is what that would look like,
- 17:22Speaker 3: because again, you know, this president is not going to
- 17:25Speaker 3: walk away with this tail between his legs and say, oops,
- 17:28Speaker 3: you know we didn't accomplish the goal, but you know
- 17:30Speaker 3: we'll live to fight another.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Day even if we wanted to. How can we do
- 17:33Speaker 1: so when we have the Israelis who are on our
- 17:35Speaker 1: right shoulder, who are always willing to up the ante.
- 17:38Speaker 1: They will never allow us out of this. That's why
- 17:41Speaker 1: they tried to target the Iranian Ayatola on day one.
- 17:44Speaker 1: This is now a war of absolute declaration on the regime.
- 17:48Speaker 1: They will now have to fight to the death if
- 17:50Speaker 1: they ever want to live to see another day. And
- 17:53Speaker 1: many of the top leadership, it appears, has already been
- 17:56Speaker 1: wiped out again. As we noted at the beginning, I
- 18:00Speaker 1: believe that many plan for this. I think that the
- 18:02Speaker 1: IRGC and others were fully aware that this was going
- 18:05Speaker 1: to happen and that there are go now going to collapse.
- 18:09Speaker 1: As we all found out in Iraq, taking out the
- 18:11Speaker 1: very top echelon the bathists the people who run the
- 18:14Speaker 1: country can often result in a much more strategically bad situation.
- 18:19Speaker 1: It unleashes chaos lower level IRGC folks anybody with a
- 18:25Speaker 1: monopoly on the use of force, access to weapons. You
- 18:27Speaker 1: are now in charge of your own fiefdom, of your
- 18:29Speaker 1: own survival. There will be a full blown conflict, I
- 18:33Speaker 1: think inside of the country, regardless of whether the United
- 18:36Speaker 1: States is even able to come in or not. Again, actually,
- 18:41Speaker 1: looking just learning this morning, the President doesn't appear to
- 18:45Speaker 1: be speaking again to the American people. I cannot actually
- 18:48Speaker 1: believe it that this is happening. We also, by the way,
- 18:52Speaker 1: have our fail son who is ready and able. Can
- 18:55Speaker 1: we put raise Apolovi's statement up here on the screen?
- 18:58Speaker 1: Raise us Polave, the son of the deposed Shah of Iran,
- 19:03Speaker 1: is now openly calling not only just for regime change,
- 19:06Speaker 1: but for people rising up. His statements are being broadcast
- 19:10Speaker 1: by Voice of America and others into the country in Farsi.
- 19:14Speaker 1: So this is a direct US authorized coup to try
- 19:18Speaker 1: and restore some sort of the monarchy. Will see if
- 19:21Speaker 1: it does ever get there. But that is you know,
- 19:23Speaker 1: I mean, this is disastrous. This is Iraq two point
- 19:25Speaker 1: zero in many ways, except without the US or boots
- 19:28Speaker 1: that are on the ground. We don't obviously want to
- 19:32Speaker 1: see that and avoid it. However, even if we do
- 19:34Speaker 1: avoid it, then the country is very likely on a
- 19:37Speaker 1: Libya trajectory right now, and in particular to turn itself
- 19:40Speaker 1: into an Israeli rump state, which will long be targeted.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Their goal is a full blown civil war inside the country.
- 19:48Speaker 1: They don't care about the refugee crisis because none of
- 19:51Speaker 1: them will come to them. They'll stick it on the Arabs,
- 19:54Speaker 1: and they'll stick it on Europe. Europeans, by the way,
- 19:57Speaker 1: appear broadly supportive so far of a lot of these
- 20:01Speaker 1: our Carney, mister new global Order, mister new Global Order,
- 20:05Speaker 1: is supportive of this. Just to show you all how
- 20:08Speaker 1: full of shit so many of these people are, I'll
- 20:11Speaker 1: give you what Crone his credit.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Well, I just wanted to point out this
- 20:15Speaker 3: statement that I have up from Jade Vance because I
- 20:17Speaker 3: think this may turn out to be a rather infamous
- 20:19Speaker 3: statement that he made yesterday. I think we have to
- 20:21Speaker 3: avoid over learning the lessons of the past. Just because
- 20:26Speaker 3: one president screwed up a military conflict doesn't mean we
- 20:28Speaker 3: can never engauge in military conflict again.
- 20:32Speaker 1: And I knew we were there, and yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 3: And this is you know, this is mister positioned himself
- 20:36Speaker 3: like he was mister anti war, and now he's saying
- 20:39Speaker 3: out of the Iraq war that was just a blip.
- 20:41Speaker 3: We shouldn't have we shouldn't overlearn the mistakes from that.
- 20:44Speaker 3: And to your point about Tulcy Gabbard, you know she
- 20:46Speaker 3: had previously what she would say is going to war
- 20:49Speaker 3: with Iran will make a rock look like a cake walk.
- 20:53Speaker 3: That was her previous positioning. And now here we are
- 20:58Speaker 3: going to say about launching an a major war with
- 21:01Speaker 3: the run and not even some pretext of like it's
- 21:03Speaker 3: limited strikes. No, we are going for the whole thing.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you? I mean, what is there to
- 21:07Speaker 1: even say about people like this? It's it's the post
- 21:09Speaker 1: profound lie to the American people. Man. I can't even
- 21:14Speaker 1: think of a similar example. And look, you know, maybe
- 21:17Speaker 1: we'll we'll help them pay for it a little bit later.
- 21:20Speaker 1: But in the interim, as we all know, we are
- 21:22Speaker 1: at their mercy. And what we are now watching is
- 21:25Speaker 1: a full blown regime change. John Bolton, Mark Levin, many
- 21:29Speaker 1: others who are doing backflips. Kroke, Lindsey Graham, I mean,
- 21:35Speaker 1: my god, I mean it is it is really noteworthy
- 21:39Speaker 1: in so far as the war has gone. Now, is
- 21:42Speaker 1: that all not only was diplomacy a ruse, but even
- 21:46Speaker 1: the limited strike package was was a ruse because it
- 21:50Speaker 1: presumed negotiation. This is fully the it Israeli wet dream
- 21:55Speaker 1: of what's happened. And just to prove it to you,
- 21:58Speaker 1: can we put that CNN article up there about I
- 22:01Speaker 1: couldn't even believe that this is real. I checked. It's real.
- 22:05Speaker 1: This is a real article that ran on CNN dot
- 22:08Speaker 1: com from Jerusalem, and they are talking about the significance
- 22:14Speaker 1: of this day launching this attack from the book of
- 22:18Speaker 1: Deuteram Deuteronomy and amelek uh, so like this is the reality.
- 22:25Speaker 3: This is remember and this is the about to be
- 22:28Speaker 3: Ellison owned CNN by the way, So they're just, you know,
- 22:32Speaker 3: pre complying with not that CNN was over that great
- 22:35Speaker 3: to start with, but pre complying with the new extreme
- 22:38Speaker 3: Zionist regime that's about to be. Let me read this
- 22:40Speaker 3: this led by Barry Wise. These are the people.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Who are we are at the mercy of the timing
- 22:44Speaker 1: of the US is really attacked. Bear symbolic meaning in Judaism.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Ahead of the upcoming holiday of Purum, worshippers read the
- 22:50Speaker 1: specific portion of the Old Testament known as Zacre. The
- 22:53Speaker 1: passage from the Book of Deuteronomy commands the ancient Israelites
- 22:56Speaker 1: to remember an unprovoked attack by the nation of Amelek
- 22:59Speaker 1: and to eradicate the memory of Amelik. Once the Israelites
- 23:01Speaker 1: are settled in their land, the passage is read publicly
- 23:04Speaker 1: before Pium to fulfill the mitzvah of remembering Amelik as
- 23:07Speaker 1: Israel's archetypal enemy. This and because if you combine this
- 23:12Speaker 1: with the fact that the date was already pre planned
- 23:15Speaker 1: some year like months ago, well, I mean you think
- 23:18Speaker 1: American war planners picked the date to coincide with the
- 23:21Speaker 1: Book of Deuteronomy and Amelek. I mean, this is insanity.
- 23:25Speaker 1: This also combined.
- 23:28Speaker 3: We talk about the theocracy of Iran posing such a
- 23:31Speaker 3: risk and making them so irrational, and then this is
- 23:35Speaker 3: literally the justification that is given for the launch of
- 23:38Speaker 3: this war. I mean, that's insane. That is insane.
- 23:44Speaker 1: How can we even trying to explain this to normal
- 23:47Speaker 1: people is going to be one of the more difficult
- 23:49Speaker 1: projects of this war. And I'm going to ask everybody
- 23:52Speaker 1: who's watching this, you know, not don't be annoying, but
- 23:54Speaker 1: when people bring it up, try to get into it.
- 23:57Speaker 1: And really get it because the propaganda is going to
- 23:59Speaker 1: be unbelievable. Already this morning, turning on Fox News and
- 24:03Speaker 1: see it. By the way, CNN, not only the Amelek thing,
- 24:05Speaker 1: they've got Brett McGirk and all of these officials who
- 24:08Speaker 1: have all been advocating for regime.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Change, preemptive strike, preemptive strike.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Yeah, preemptive strike, who are just doing the bidding and
- 24:16Speaker 1: printing Pentagon war Pentagon press statements. By the way, the
- 24:20Speaker 1: Pentagon pet Hegseth. He's calling this operation epic Fury. This
- 24:25Speaker 1: is like cosplaying war, except this real life. And there
- 24:29Speaker 1: are already dozens of people who have been killed. Why
- 24:33Speaker 1: don't we put up the statement from the Iranian state
- 24:36Speaker 1: media of a.
- 24:37Speaker 3: School let me stroke Yeah, let me put this one up.
- 24:40Speaker 3: This is horrible. This school, a girls' school it appears
- 24:45Speaker 3: was elementary school, was struck by either the US or Israel.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Here they're reporting at least forty killed, forty eight students
- 24:53Speaker 3: injured following this strike on a girls school in monob As.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Rescue and recovery efforts continue. So, yeah, you know nation
- 25:03Speaker 3: that strikes girls' school, and do you think they're going
- 25:05Speaker 3: to be sad about Do you think they're going to
- 25:06Speaker 3: apologize for it? Do you think they're going to accept
- 25:08Speaker 3: any blame or accountability? Of course not, of course, it's
- 25:11Speaker 3: probably it's real. We look at what the Israelis and
- 25:15Speaker 3: the US got away with the genocide in Gaza. Now
- 25:17Speaker 3: literally every level of horror and brutalities on the table.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that was probably the Israelis from what I've seen
- 25:24Speaker 1: now so far, you know, sticking to their long tried
- 25:27Speaker 1: and true you know war targeted strikes that we all
- 25:32Speaker 1: know well from what happened in Gaza, and it is
- 25:36Speaker 1: just so unbelievable already to watch how this has gone
- 25:40Speaker 1: out and what we are watching now so far. I mean,
- 25:44Speaker 1: I really think again, you know, despite all of the
- 25:47Speaker 1: talk about peace and diplomacy, to launch the war in
- 25:50Speaker 1: this fashion, we have no off ramp. It's over. I mean,
- 25:53Speaker 1: unless there's a literal about face by Donald Trump, which
- 25:56Speaker 1: I think is very unlikely. The other problem, as we saw,
- 26:00Speaker 1: is that it's very easy to start a war. It's
- 26:02Speaker 1: much harder to end a war. And that's when you're
- 26:05Speaker 1: in control of your own government. Now you have a
- 26:07Speaker 1: foreign rogue state which will bomb any country which is
- 26:11Speaker 1: in the immediate vicinity and can kick things off into
- 26:14Speaker 1: higher gear whenever they want.
- 26:16Speaker 3: To, and our ambassador to that country saying that there,
- 26:22Speaker 3: you know, we're down with the Greater Israel project of
- 26:24Speaker 3: you know, Israel wants to just fully fulfill their biblical
- 26:27Speaker 3: prophecy and take over whatever portions of their neighboring states
- 26:31Speaker 3: that they want to. I mean that, you know, apparently
- 26:35Speaker 3: is US official policy at this point, given that it
- 26:37Speaker 3: was stated by the US ambassador that it appears to
- 26:41Speaker 3: reflect facts on the ground in terms of Israeli behavior,
- 26:44Speaker 3: and was never walked back by any element of our regime.
- 26:48Speaker 3: And I just want to throw the Epstein angle of
- 26:50Speaker 3: this into the mix, because you have to look at
- 26:53Speaker 3: this and in some senses go it doesn't really add up.
- 26:57Speaker 3: The military didn't want this war. The political people knew
- 27:01Speaker 3: that this could be a big problem. I mean, you
- 27:02Speaker 3: just look at the polling and you know that it
- 27:05Speaker 3: is catastrophic. Now will Republicans who are Trump supporters, will
- 27:08Speaker 3: they come around and suddenly flip and they'll support sure
- 27:11Speaker 3: but independence any sort of swing voter, they are draumatically
- 27:15Speaker 3: opposed to this, especially when from the jump you're saying, hey,
- 27:17Speaker 3: Americans are probably gonna die here.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 27:19Speaker 3: So the political piece, the military piece, our allies in
- 27:23Speaker 3: the region they did not want this war, Our broader
- 27:26Speaker 3: allies in Europe and Canada, they were not pushing for this.
- 27:29Speaker 3: This was just Israel and the Israeli you know, pro
- 27:33Speaker 3: Israel donors in the US, and then Donald Trump, who
- 27:37Speaker 3: decided that this is the direction that we should go in.
- 27:40Speaker 3: And so you have to factor into this. Okay, you know,
- 27:43Speaker 3: they are not so stupid in this government that they
- 27:45Speaker 3: can't see what we do, that this is potentially disastrous,
- 27:48Speaker 3: that there's no off ramp that we could get dragged in,
- 27:50Speaker 3: that it's this massive regional conflagration at a time when
- 27:53Speaker 3: Trump is already incredibly politically weak. And then so you
- 27:57Speaker 3: have to couple that with Okay, well, maybe it really
- 28:00Speaker 3: is something that Israel knows about him. In the Epstein files.
- 28:03Speaker 3: You know, we have this ongoing mass cover. Clearly there
- 28:06Speaker 3: are things in there he does not want to come out,
- 28:08Speaker 3: as evidenced by the fact that they are hiding the files,
- 28:11Speaker 3: that they are giving Glayanne Maxwell this cushy treatment. And
- 28:14Speaker 3: now I think you have to add another piece of
- 28:16Speaker 3: evidence that he has decided to do the thing that
- 28:20Speaker 3: is the one line he has always Trump has always
- 28:22Speaker 3: been very belligerent, right, very hawkish. He's not afraid to
- 28:26Speaker 3: use the military. But the one thing he seemed to
- 28:28Speaker 3: be genuinely concerned about is getting embroiled in a long term,
- 28:33Speaker 3: forever war, especially in the Middle East. And now, yeah,
- 28:38Speaker 3: go ahead.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Well I'll add another layer crystal. And I you know,
- 28:42Speaker 1: it's been a bit difficult to try and navigate this,
- 28:43Speaker 1: but I'm just going to come out and tell everybody.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I think Donald Trump believes that the Israelis would use
- 28:48Speaker 1: a nuclear weapon. I think he believes that they would
- 28:50Speaker 1: use a nuclear weapon against Iran, or at the very least,
- 28:53Speaker 1: that they would launch the preemptive war no matter what,
- 28:55Speaker 1: and they would basically dare America to not defend them.
- 28:58Speaker 1: So it could be it's also I genuinely think either
- 29:01Speaker 1: some sort of you know, either black or strategic blackmail,
- 29:05Speaker 1: very at the very least, and considering how the Israelis
- 29:08Speaker 1: have operated in Gaza, I think we should believe if
- 29:12Speaker 1: they're going to make those types of threats, and you know,
- 29:15Speaker 1: that's that's something I've been hearing a little bit behind
- 29:17Speaker 1: the scenes. It's been a bit you know, difficult to actually, well,
- 29:21Speaker 1: it's been difficult to assess because we talked about it,
- 29:24Speaker 1: like do we really think that, Like it just seems
- 29:26Speaker 1: so crazy, I think, as evidenced by what has happened,
- 29:29Speaker 1: as you just said, who launches a preemptive war, Who
- 29:33Speaker 1: launches a war of choice nine months before the midterm
- 29:38Speaker 1: elections of which eighty percent of Americans are against? That's
- 29:43Speaker 1: not normal, Not when you have the entire administration full
- 29:47Speaker 1: of people who are on the record who are against
- 29:50Speaker 1: what regime change, war with Iran. Something is going on.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Something is going on. I personally think there was a
- 29:57Speaker 1: nuclear blackmail angle effectively that and some behind the scenes.
- 30:01Speaker 1: If you don't believe me, this is a precedent, by
- 30:03Speaker 1: the way, from the Yamkapor War, and you can go
- 30:05Speaker 1: and read a little bit about that in nineteen seventy three.
- 30:08Speaker 1: But I do think it's very important for us to
- 30:11Speaker 1: try and assess now how we are as a democracy.
- 30:15Speaker 1: We had literally no checks and have no ability to
- 30:20Speaker 1: check inside this now because and I really mean this
- 30:24Speaker 1: now with Congress, the Congress is surrendering aside from Rocana,
- 30:29Speaker 1: and if we want, we can put his video on
- 30:31Speaker 1: because I want to give this guy as much credit
- 30:33Speaker 1: as humanly possible him and Thomas Massey, who at the
- 30:36Speaker 1: very least foresaw this, who are at least calling get
- 30:39Speaker 1: these guys on the record. Because John Thune and Chuck
- 30:43Speaker 1: Schumer and Mark Warner and all of these other guys.
- 30:46Speaker 1: They may talk about how they're against it, they're not.
- 30:48Speaker 1: They're against the you know, they're against the process of
- 30:52Speaker 1: which it all went down. But these are the only
- 30:54Speaker 1: people who are at least demanding, let's say, if this
- 30:57Speaker 1: is a disaster sometime in the future, that we can
- 30:59Speaker 1: have out and hold these people accountable for actually doing this.
- 31:02Speaker 1: All right, So let's let's play Rocanna.
- 31:05Speaker 5: Donald Kirk has launched a more on Iran. The Congress
- 31:08Speaker 5: supposed Rea can be on Monday to vote on Thomas
- 31:11Speaker 5: Nancy and My Warpiver's resolution to stop this war. Comb
- 31:15Speaker 5: says his goal is to topple the Iranian regime.
- 31:19Speaker 4: But the American people are.
- 31:20Speaker 5: Tired of regime change wars that cost us billions of
- 31:25Speaker 5: dollars and risk for lives. We don't want to be
- 31:27Speaker 5: at more with a country of ninety million people in
- 31:30Speaker 5: the Middle East. Every member of Congress must go on
- 31:33Speaker 5: a record today on how they won't vote on Thomas
- 31:37Speaker 5: Fancy and my Warpiver's resolution.
- 31:39Speaker 3: And you know, they really the Democratic leadership, like the
- 31:44Speaker 3: Capitulation Caucus on the Democratic side, they really pulled some
- 31:48Speaker 3: fuckery here because this vote was supposed to happen last
- 31:51Speaker 3: week and they came to Row and they said, oh, well,
- 31:53Speaker 3: some people are wavering, it'll go better if we wait
- 31:56Speaker 3: till next week. And just happened that that Trump enough
- 32:01Speaker 3: time to you know, launch this war alongside Israel on
- 32:05Speaker 3: their chosen day, you know, to honor their commitments to
- 32:09Speaker 3: destroying Amelek before this war Powers resolution could could come down.
- 32:15Speaker 3: Now it's been so Mark Warner, you mentioned Mark Warner.
- 32:18Speaker 3: He put out like a really extremely lame statement that
- 32:22Speaker 3: I can put up on the screen to give you
- 32:24Speaker 3: a sense of you know, these are some of the
- 32:25Speaker 3: things that we're hearing, like from him and from Schumer
- 32:28Speaker 3: ahead of time, which was hand ringing and concern trolling
- 32:31Speaker 3: over the process here. So he says, in part by
- 32:35Speaker 3: the president's owned words, American heroes may be lost. That
- 32:38Speaker 3: alone should demand at the highest level of scrutiny, deliberation,
- 32:41Speaker 3: and accountability. So not don't do it, just we need
- 32:44Speaker 3: some more scrutiny, Yet the President moved forward without seeking
- 32:47Speaker 3: congressional authorization. The Constitution has cleared the decision to take
- 32:50Speaker 3: this nation of war rest with Congress launching large scale
- 32:53Speaker 3: military operations, particularly in the absence of an imminent threat
- 32:56Speaker 3: to the US raiss series legal and constitutional concerns. Congress
- 33:00Speaker 3: must be fully briefed, and the administration must come forward
- 33:02Speaker 3: with a clear legal justification and defined end state and
- 33:05Speaker 3: a plan that avoids dragging the US into yet another
- 33:08Speaker 3: costly and unnecessary war. So, you know, extremely lame statement there.
- 33:13Speaker 3: I will say there are others who have come out
- 33:14Speaker 3: who have been much more forceful, including people you wouldn't
- 33:17Speaker 3: necessarily expect. This is Tim Kaine, he said, you know,
- 33:22Speaker 3: he's a major proponent of calling back warpowers from the
- 33:24Speaker 3: executive branch. Has President Trump learned nothing from decades of
- 33:28Speaker 3: US meddling in Iran and forever wars in the Middle East?
- 33:31Speaker 3: Is he too mentally incapacitated to realize we had a
- 33:34Speaker 3: diplomatic agreement with Ron that was keeping its nuclear program
- 33:37Speaker 3: in check until he ripped it up during the first term.
- 33:40Speaker 3: For months, I've raised hell about the fact that American
- 33:42Speaker 3: people want lower prices, not more war, especially wars that
- 33:45Speaker 3: aren't authorized by Congress as required by the Constitution and
- 33:48Speaker 3: don't have a clear objective. These strikes are a colossal mistake,
- 33:53Speaker 3: and I pray they do not cost our sons and
- 33:55Speaker 3: daughters in uniform and an embassy throughout the region their lives.
- 33:58Speaker 3: The Senate should immediately return to session vote on my
- 34:00Speaker 3: War Powers resolution to block the use of US forces
- 34:03Speaker 3: in hostilities against Irun. Every single Senator needs to go
- 34:06Speaker 3: on the record about this dangerous, unnecessary, and idiotic action.
- 34:10Speaker 3: So you know, you're going to have a real divide
- 34:13Speaker 3: in the Democrats. No one is going to well except
- 34:16Speaker 3: for John Foterman has already come out and said he
- 34:17Speaker 3: thinks this is great and wonderful and whatever. So you've
- 34:19Speaker 3: got that. But outside of him, you're gonna have two camps.
- 34:22Speaker 3: You're gonna have the camps like row and like Tim
- 34:24Speaker 3: Kaine here who are clearly opposed, and then you're gonna
- 34:27Speaker 3: have the process handbringers like Mark Warner, and so take
- 34:31Speaker 3: careful note of who is who, and then also take
- 34:34Speaker 3: careful note of how everybody Democrat or Republican votes on
- 34:38Speaker 3: these war powers resolution, because at this point Obviously it's
- 34:41Speaker 3: too late to stop anything. And let's be honest, even
- 34:44Speaker 3: if they voted on this last week, this administration was
- 34:47Speaker 3: going to do whatever the fuck they wanted to do anyway.
- 34:49Speaker 3: But at the very least, at the very least, we
- 34:52Speaker 3: can get some sort of record of who was where,
- 34:57Speaker 3: who supported what, because they us be political hell to
- 35:01Speaker 3: pay for everyone who was okay with this, who enabled it,
- 35:05Speaker 3: and especially for those who actively cheerleaded it.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right. I think you're absolutely right, and I
- 35:10Speaker 1: think it's unbelievable watching already, you know some of the scenes. Also,
- 35:14Speaker 1: there's some chatter from Radio Israel and multiple other Israeli
- 35:19Speaker 1: news outlets that the Ayatola Komane was you know, targeted directly.
- 35:24Speaker 1: They're saying that he was likely injured and they would
- 35:27Speaker 1: be shocked if he was not dead. So you already
- 35:30Speaker 1: have major figures in the Iranian regime who are either
- 35:33Speaker 1: confirmed dead or who are very likely dead, who are
- 35:36Speaker 1: all right now. But you can see, you know, currently,
- 35:39Speaker 1: as we're all watching right now, one of the most
- 35:42Speaker 1: extraordinary wars of choice now in years from the United States.
- 35:47Speaker 1: I mean, I never thought I would sit here and
- 35:49Speaker 1: give flowers to George W. Bush, for manufactory evidence, for
- 35:53Speaker 1: taking it to the UN Security Council, for taking it
- 35:56Speaker 1: to Congress, and getting Hillary Clinton and all of the
- 35:58Speaker 1: other Democrats on record, and truly, I mean ninety percent
- 36:02Speaker 1: of the American people, we're supporting the war with Iraq.
- 36:05Speaker 1: We had the cable new there was no debate, none,
- 36:07Speaker 1: zero on this entire thing. Most people are probably just
- 36:10Speaker 1: waking up this morning and they had no idea that
- 36:12Speaker 1: this was even really on the table. And now, you know,
- 36:15Speaker 1: you may know somebody, I certainly do. People who are
- 36:18Speaker 1: deployed now in the Gulf, people who are deployed on
- 36:20Speaker 1: these carrier strike groups, people who are served in the
- 36:23Speaker 1: United States military. Their lives are at risk. Not my words,
- 36:26Speaker 1: the President's words. Their lives are at risk. They may
- 36:29Speaker 1: be lost. But it is what it is, is basically
- 36:31Speaker 1: what he is saying now currently. Look, there's going to
- 36:34Speaker 1: be a lot of propaganda over the years, or over
- 36:37Speaker 1: the it is going to be years most likely now
- 36:40Speaker 1: in this there's going to be a lot of propaganda
- 36:42Speaker 1: over the years, I think on this conflict. Don't just
- 36:46Speaker 1: you know, let's remember Iraq mission accomplished only took three weeks.
- 36:51Speaker 1: There will be many claims from this administration. They will
- 36:53Speaker 1: deride those of us who spoke out of against it
- 36:56Speaker 1: as pannikins. They will manufacture victories, They will try to
- 36:59Speaker 1: portray it as something that worked in the immediate term.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Let us all remember Iraq, Syria, Libya. I mean, I
- 37:08Speaker 1: can't even think on the off the top of my
- 37:10Speaker 1: head all of the interventions that we have had where
- 37:14Speaker 1: it plays out that way. Every single time Afghanistan, we
- 37:17Speaker 1: brought democracy to Afghanistan, it all worked out with they
- 37:21Speaker 1: even had elections crystal. It was unbelievable, it was beautiful,
- 37:24Speaker 1: people were voting. How mad Karzai was in power for years.
- 37:28Speaker 1: We thought it was a settled matter, and then what happened.
- 37:31Speaker 1: What happened. So do not let these people just gaslight
- 37:35Speaker 1: you with immediate declarations of victory or that it's all
- 37:38Speaker 1: going to work out. We don't know yet the consequences.
- 37:41Speaker 1: It will take many, many years to really grapple. All
- 37:45Speaker 1: we can really hope for, you know, in the immediate
- 37:48Speaker 1: term is like less loss of life. I don't see
- 37:51Speaker 1: how it's possible. I really don't not. Whenever you're going
- 37:54Speaker 1: to declare from the immediate term that this is it
- 37:57Speaker 1: and when you have the Israelis who are there, who
- 37:59Speaker 1: are to bomb literally, you know, anything in sight in
- 38:03Speaker 1: order to keep the war as brutal as possible, because
- 38:06Speaker 1: they don't want, you know, any element of the Iranian
- 38:09Speaker 1: regime to come to power their nightmare. You know, this
- 38:12Speaker 1: is another thing I think we should explain. The best
- 38:14Speaker 1: case scenario, let's say, for how this would all work out,
- 38:16Speaker 1: would be some sort of IRGC commander who says, fine,
- 38:20Speaker 1: I'll make a deal with you. I've seized control. Trump
- 38:24Speaker 1: declares victory. Do you think Israel is going to let
- 38:26Speaker 1: that happen? No, right, They're gonna want the like they
- 38:29Speaker 1: want the full Manti, they want the full on Pallavi
- 38:32Speaker 1: restoring of the monarchy, which many of the country is
- 38:36Speaker 1: not going to accept. That get basically guarantees civil war
- 38:39Speaker 1: from the point that we are. Point we're at, regardless
- 38:42Speaker 1: of whether we come in or not with boots on
- 38:45Speaker 1: the ground or who even knows, with loss of life
- 38:47Speaker 1: in other spheares well.
- 38:48Speaker 3: And let's talk about a little bit why the Israelis
- 38:51Speaker 3: feel that it's this is now or never for their
- 38:54Speaker 3: moment to permanently establish their regional hegemony. And you know,
- 38:58Speaker 3: take out their longtime nemesis Iran and make sure they
- 39:01Speaker 3: can ever achieve the nuclear weapons or any sort of
- 39:04Speaker 3: balance in the region. Well, Israel has They've got a
- 39:07Speaker 3: lot of issues. You know, there's a poll that just
- 39:09Speaker 3: came out that showed, for the first time ever on
- 39:13Speaker 3: net the American people have more sympathy for the Palestinians
- 39:16Speaker 3: than the Israelis. If you told me that five years ago,
- 39:18Speaker 3: I would have told you to get your head examined.
- 39:21Speaker 3: It is over for them in terms of a blank check.
- 39:24Speaker 3: The American people are done. There was some movement with Republicans,
- 39:27Speaker 3: but predominantly with Independence and Democrats. Overwhelmingly they are disgusted
- 39:33Speaker 3: by our enabling of this rogue, genocidal regime. And it
- 39:37Speaker 3: is highly likely in twenty twenty eight you are going
- 39:40Speaker 3: to get a president who has a very different view
- 39:43Speaker 3: of things and is going to take a very different approach.
- 39:46Speaker 3: At the same time, they are staring down a very
- 39:50Speaker 3: difficult demographic future. They've experienced significant brain drain of the
- 39:54Speaker 3: more secular and highly educated of their citizens who have
- 39:58Speaker 3: left the country. I'm sure this. You know, New War
- 40:00Speaker 3: is probably not going to help them mount on that front.
- 40:03Speaker 3: And you have increasingly the population made up of hard
- 40:08Speaker 3: right and more orthodox families who have large numbers of children,
- 40:13Speaker 3: but don't want to work, don't want to fight in
- 40:14Speaker 3: the military, and want to just benefit from Israel's generous
- 40:18Speaker 3: social safety net. So the math doesn't math over a
- 40:22Speaker 3: long period of time. That's why, both from a demographic
- 40:25Speaker 3: perspective and also a political perspective in the US most importantly,
- 40:29Speaker 3: but around the world globally. You know, their reputation is
- 40:31Speaker 3: in the toilet. That's why they feel like now is
- 40:35Speaker 3: the time we have to go for broke because this
- 40:38Speaker 3: is very risky for them too. I mean they're going
- 40:40Speaker 3: to take damage, right, this is going to be this
- 40:43Speaker 3: requires yeah, they already have. This requires a significant amount
- 40:47Speaker 3: of risk taking. So you might ask yourself, well, why
- 40:49Speaker 3: does Israel want this right now at this time? As well?
- 40:52Speaker 3: That is the reason, because they can see the writing
- 40:55Speaker 3: on the wall that they are at the peak of
- 40:57Speaker 3: their strength right now and things are only going to
- 40:59Speaker 3: be down hill from here, and that the very existence
- 41:02Speaker 3: of the state and like their strength is also very
- 41:05Speaker 3: much on the line. So you know, you've got that,
- 41:08Speaker 3: and then you've got whatever is going on with Trump.
- 41:10Speaker 3: You know, whether it's the nuclear blackmail, the Epstein thing.
- 41:14Speaker 3: You know, people you said it's called that's being called
- 41:16Speaker 3: Operation epic Fury. They see people saying, let's call it
- 41:18Speaker 3: Operation Epstein Fury, which I absolutely think we should all
- 41:21Speaker 3: be doing, because I do think that those two things
- 41:23Speaker 3: are directly connected. And all of the hundreds of millions
- 41:27Speaker 3: of dollars that flowed into his campaign from pro zionist sources.
- 41:31Speaker 3: Then you've got the media array. You know, we just
- 41:33Speaker 3: got the news about the you know, the paramount deal.
- 41:36Speaker 3: So now you have the Ellison's have not only CBS, CNN, HBO, TikTok,
- 41:42Speaker 3: just this mass media empire that is not only pro Trump,
- 41:46Speaker 3: but pro Zionists to do their best to manufacture consent.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Not that I think that's entirely going to work on
- 41:52Speaker 3: the American people, but those are all the chips that
- 41:54Speaker 3: they've kind of got in play to make this you know, final, final, disastrous,
- 42:00Speaker 3: insane move on the chess board.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Right yeah, I mean, just summarizing now. Obviously we will
- 42:05Speaker 1: be covering this now for years to come. I hope
- 42:09Speaker 1: we were able to add a little bit of some
- 42:11Speaker 1: context to the things that you're all watching play out.
- 42:15Speaker 1: This is unfortunately going to be very long. This will
- 42:17Speaker 1: be a week's long campaign just in the immediate future.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Then we will have to see where things shake out.
- 42:24Speaker 1: There's untold amounts of death and destruction for the people
- 42:29Speaker 1: of Iran. They are now fully going to be at
- 42:32Speaker 1: the mercy of the western and the regional powers. There
- 42:35Speaker 1: will also probably be at the mercy of a regime
- 42:38Speaker 1: which is fighting for its life. The Iranian Foreign Minister
- 42:41Speaker 1: is on television right now, Crystal, as you and I
- 42:44Speaker 1: are speaking. He has said, as far as he knows,
- 42:46Speaker 1: the Ayahtola is alive. He is also saying that he
- 42:50Speaker 1: doesn't know why the United States insists on diplomacy and
- 42:53Speaker 1: then tax the other party in the middle of their negotiations.
- 42:56Speaker 1: He says, we lost a few commanders, but that's fine.
- 43:00Speaker 1: We know how to fight from here, echoing some of
- 43:02Speaker 1: the things I was saying earlier. They planned basically to
- 43:05Speaker 1: be for a lot of decapitation, and effectively it's built in,
- 43:09Speaker 1: and now they have no choice but to go all out.
- 43:11Speaker 1: What all out means and their capabilities, obviously we don't know.
- 43:14Speaker 1: But there's a lot of lives at risk on American
- 43:17Speaker 1: service members too. I really do I think I would
- 43:19Speaker 1: live to see it.
- 43:21Speaker 3: A lot of lives, a lot of chaos, you know,
- 43:23Speaker 3: I mean kind of everything is really on the line
- 43:26Speaker 3: right now. You've opened up an extraordinary, you know, an
- 43:29Speaker 3: extraordinarily dangerous Pandora's box, and now we all just have
- 43:33Speaker 3: to sit back and see where the hell this this
- 43:36Speaker 3: takes us. I'm going to be interviewing doctor Tree to
- 43:40Speaker 3: Parsi in a little while, so pay attention for you know,
- 43:43Speaker 3: look out for that interview later today. And we're going
- 43:45Speaker 3: to continue to stay on top of this as things develop. Also,
- 43:49Speaker 3: just you know, caveat on everything that all the elements
- 43:52Speaker 3: that we put up. Obviously, this is a very fast
- 43:55Speaker 3: moving situation, and you know, it can be difficult to
- 43:59Speaker 3: ascertain the veracity of all the things that are unfolding
- 44:03Speaker 3: in your timeline on a moment basis, which is also
- 44:06Speaker 3: you know reality check for you guys out there while
- 44:08Speaker 3: you're monitoring the situations. Just remember that there's always things
- 44:11Speaker 3: that come out that turn out to be untrue later on,
- 44:14Speaker 3: So just keep that in mind as you're processing all
- 44:16Speaker 3: of this information.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Keep in mind propaganda AI social media, disinformation from the
- 44:21Speaker 1: ir audience, from the Israelis, from the United States. Keep
- 44:23Speaker 1: in mind, try to fact check some of these things.
- 44:26Speaker 1: It's going to mean immensely difficult time ahead for all
- 44:29Speaker 1: of us. I'm grateful to be doing the show with you.
- 44:32Speaker 1: I hope we can try and help people understand the world.
- 44:36Speaker 1: It's a bad time, but we'll see you all as
- 44:39Speaker 1: soon as probably very soon, unfortunately,
