- 0:04Speaker 1: I'm mixed one or two point nine. I'm billing a kid,
- 0:06Speaker 1: Candice low Pass producer food. Now, get those secrets off
- 0:08Speaker 1: your chest, confessed, especially right before the holiday.
- 0:11Speaker 2: You need to.

- 0:14Speaker 1: up if you keep a dirty little secret. No, for sure,
- 0:16Speaker 1: you got to get that off your chest. Eight three
- 0:18Speaker 1: three seven eight seven one h two nine if you
- 0:20Speaker 1: got one. Now, this is a I know this one's
- 0:23Speaker 1: an emotional it's not just a secret, but it's also
- 0:25Speaker 1: like a situation that you're in.
- 0:26Speaker 2: So it's a lot.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it's sort of taken me a lot to even
- 0:32Speaker 3: talk about this or sort of process it at all.
- 0:36Speaker 1: So and I know it's emotional. So feel you know,
- 0:39Speaker 1: say what you want, and if you need a moment,
- 0:41Speaker 1: take your time.
- 0:42Speaker 3: I appreciate that.
- 0:45Speaker 1: So.
- 0:45Speaker 3: I recently lost mine on again, off again boyfriend of
- 0:50Speaker 3: five years and an accident, and it's yeah, it's it's
- 0:56Speaker 3: been about three months since the accident. Yeah, I'm sorry,
- 0:59Speaker 3: thank you. I like still hear the sound of his
- 1:02Speaker 3: motorcycle in my head, and every time I hear one
- 1:05Speaker 3: go by, like I just my stomach knots, and I
- 1:09Speaker 3: just kind of want to just kind of want to
- 1:11Speaker 3: scream because it's a lot. I'm sorry, it's a lot. Anyways,
- 1:16Speaker 3: he was hit by a car in a hit and
- 1:19Speaker 3: run one night and he didn't make it.
- 1:22Speaker 2: That's awful. Everyone's worst nightmare. It's it's awful.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it's been. It's been nothing short of the worst
- 1:29Speaker 3: thing that I could imagine happening to literally anybody. It's been. Really,
- 1:33Speaker 3: it's been a nightmare. But the reason why I'm calling
- 1:35Speaker 3: really is because so last week his mom asked me
- 1:38Speaker 3: to go through his phone because she said there were
- 1:40Speaker 3: some things that she needed for like I don't know,
- 1:42Speaker 3: like insurance stuff and contacts, and she asked, you know,
- 1:46Speaker 3: she wanted to come photos, right, So I agreed because
- 1:51Speaker 3: I thought, like I can handle this, and I thought
- 1:53Speaker 3: I was ready and I am totally not.
- 1:56Speaker 2: So that's a lot, I mean to So you have
- 1:59Speaker 2: to do things like this.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well anyway, so first, so I, you know,
- 2:05Speaker 3: I thought, okay, maybe this will help. So it was
- 2:07Speaker 3: like innocent enough, right, So I'm scrolling through, you know,
- 2:09Speaker 3: notes and screenshots and a few videos of us, you know,
- 2:14Speaker 3: like laughing and just like some of the things that
- 2:18Speaker 3: we went through together. And then you know, as you
- 2:21Speaker 3: sort of go down the rabbit hole. It's just my
- 2:25Speaker 3: curiosity got the best of them, right, So I opened
- 2:27Speaker 3: his messages and well, this is where everything changed. Right,
- 2:31Speaker 3: he's been I found it. He's been texting one of
- 2:33Speaker 3: my closest friends, texting.
- 2:36Speaker 2: One of your closest friends and girlfriend.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Yeah, like one of my closest girlfriends. And it was
- 2:43Speaker 3: nothing like right, It's like it's not sexual like out outright,
- 2:47Speaker 3: but it's still like behind my back, and it sort
- 2:50Speaker 3: of like made me feel really bad. Like they it's
- 2:52Speaker 3: mostly like it was like flirty emojis and and inside
- 2:56Speaker 3: chokes and like there was a few of those like
- 2:59Speaker 3: late night like you up sort of messages.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so that's not something you want to see.
- 3:06Speaker 1: That's not something you want to happen or see, And
- 3:09Speaker 1: oh my gosh, yeah you do.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I mean I told myself to stop, like this is
- 3:13Speaker 3: not productive, Like what's the point of this, Like why,
- 3:16Speaker 3: I guess what's done is done? And I told myself
- 3:18Speaker 3: to close the phone, but I couldn't, so I kept
- 3:21Speaker 3: scrolling and then I found messages. I just I couldn't
- 3:24Speaker 3: even like comprehend because there were these texts he had
- 3:27Speaker 3: about selling pills and like owing to somebody money that
- 3:31Speaker 3: I didn't know, and then like beating people. So the
- 3:35Speaker 3: point is I just like this, everything is just awful
- 3:37Speaker 3: and making me feel worse and worse and worse. And
- 3:39Speaker 3: then for the first time I started thinking, hold on
- 3:42Speaker 3: a second, was this accident an accident?
- 3:46Speaker 2: Oh?
- 3:46Speaker 4: I didn't even think that.
- 3:48Speaker 2: My mind didn't go there either.
- 3:49Speaker 1: No, So you mean, do you feel like he was
- 3:53Speaker 1: obviously doing some things that were that you didn't know about,
- 3:56Speaker 1: that were obviously shady. It sounds like multiple things, almost
- 3:59Speaker 1: like he had another side to him that you didn't
- 4:01Speaker 1: even know about.
- 4:02Speaker 3: He totally had another I mean, for what I see,
- 4:04Speaker 3: he has like another life. I can't now. I can't
- 4:07Speaker 3: stop thinking about this right because listen, he was writing
- 4:10Speaker 3: at night and so out of nowhere a car hits
- 4:12Speaker 3: him and just takes off like a hit and run.
- 4:14Speaker 3: There's this area and no camera, no witnesses.
- 4:18Speaker 1: So you're so you you think it's a possibility that
- 4:21Speaker 1: maybe you know this was done on purpose.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I mean, I don't think I'm not crazy for like
- 4:27Speaker 3: trying to put things together right, like it's it's just
- 4:30Speaker 3: it seems suspicious. Yeah, I think that like the thing
- 4:35Speaker 3: that I haven't been able to do yet, and I
- 4:37Speaker 3: don't think I should. I don't know if I should.
- 4:39Speaker 3: It is like because now I feel like, you know,
- 4:41Speaker 3: maybe also my girlfriend who was talking to him, like
- 4:43Speaker 3: maybe she knows more than she's telling me. And I
- 4:46Speaker 3: haven't talked to her about it yet. And I really
- 4:50Speaker 3: I can't talk to him. I don't. I can't tell
- 4:51Speaker 3: his mom, I can't tell his family all this, like
- 4:54Speaker 3: I think it would like to screw them, I mean
- 4:59Speaker 3: of this, and I I don't know.
- 5:00Speaker 1: At some point, you're gonna have to say something to
- 5:02Speaker 1: your friend, first of all, of what were you doing
- 5:04Speaker 1: with my on again, off again boyfriend?
- 5:07Speaker 2: That's absolutely inappropriate.
- 5:09Speaker 1: But honestly, I mean, maybe give it time, but I
- 5:12Speaker 1: would I would let the I know this sounds intense,
- 5:16Speaker 1: but I would absolutely let the police know maybe that hey,
- 5:19Speaker 1: I found his phone and some weird things on it,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and because you're not going to get him in trouble.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but they can come after her for what. I
- 5:29Speaker 2: just why would they go after her? She has nothing
- 5:31Speaker 2: to do. You're not selling drugs. I don't know.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Would you not want to know if something that was
- 5:36Speaker 1: foul play, you wouldn't want to know.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I want to know it.
- 5:38Speaker 4: I don't know that thought never crossed my mind, but
- 5:41Speaker 4: e has crossed your mind. If there's a chance at all,
- 5:44Speaker 4: you should look into it. To me, yes, it's only fair.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It's right bringing up if you feel like he owed
- 5:49Speaker 1: somebody money and there was something else going on and
- 5:51Speaker 1: this might have been on purpose. You want to live
- 5:53Speaker 1: with yourself if you don't get to the bottom of it.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Yeah, it's tough though, because then if there's not and
- 5:57Speaker 4: then now his family knows all this, it's it's just
- 6:00Speaker 4: gonna hurt.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Well, maybe you give him his family back the phone
- 6:03Speaker 1: and you put it in their hands and then they
- 6:05Speaker 1: can do whatever they want.
- 6:06Speaker 2: I don't know, but I do that.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I mean, there's also you need to take time for
- 6:10Speaker 1: yourself and grieve properly. So I know, I'm not telling
- 6:12Speaker 1: you what to do. I think you just need to
- 6:14Speaker 1: maybe talk to a professional and get some help and
- 6:17Speaker 1: make sure you're you're grieving and not just running through
- 6:19Speaker 1: the motions and letting your mind wander, and you know,
- 6:23Speaker 1: because that could be torture. So because you're dealing with
- 6:25Speaker 1: a huge loss right now and so many mixed emotions. Yeah,
- 6:29Speaker 1: after seeing someone's phone that you thought, yeah, I feel
- 6:32Speaker 1: really bad for you right now. I do.
- 6:34Speaker 3: I appreciate that. But like with my girlfriend, like it's
- 6:36Speaker 3: been three months and she still hasn't said anything to me,
- 6:39Speaker 3: and that is also like weighing on me, like you
- 6:41Speaker 3: can't just be straight, like he's gone, Like you couldn't
- 6:44Speaker 3: help me out in my time as you need, and
- 6:46Speaker 3: just I don't know.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, the friend. The friend part of it
- 6:49Speaker 1: to me is she's cut off. Whether I've talked to
- 6:51Speaker 1: her about he or not, she's done. I'm done with her.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I'm not talking to her ever again. And I might
- 6:56Speaker 1: not even tell her why, and she'll know why without
- 6:59Speaker 1: even saying it.
- 6:59Speaker 2: But yeah, forget her. You know that's not a friend.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, do what you want and you know the truth,
- 7:06Speaker 1: and you can you know whatever makes you feel better
- 7:08Speaker 1: in this moment, and let us know what happens. And
- 7:11Speaker 1: I'm sending you my best because my heart's breaking for you.
- 7:13Speaker 1: This is a lot to handle at once.
