- 1:30Speaker 1: Popcorn Moment. Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go.
- 1:47Speaker 1: The story you need to hear to believe.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Then grab your popcorn because there is more.
- 1:53Speaker 1: And there is more. Now, it's a twofold.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Story is going to focus on Michigan, one from the
- 2:05Speaker 2: current senator, one from the media trying to defend the
- 2:09Speaker 2: candidate for senator. This is Alyssa Slotkin, who's a bad person.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I don't care where she served. I don't care what
- 2:16Speaker 2: she did in the past. She is someone who called
- 2:19Speaker 2: on the military not to listen to the.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Orders of the commander in chief. That's what she did.
- 2:24Speaker 1: She could say no. What does it matter? She says no.
- 2:26Speaker 2: She has the let's call it the the audacity. Yeah,
- 2:34Speaker 2: I think audacity.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Would be the word here. There's another word that came
- 2:40Speaker 1: to my head.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It was temerity, and temerity might be proper as well,
- 2:45Speaker 2: to say we need to endorse Abdul El-Sayed or support
- 2:48Speaker 2: Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan. That's what she told the Michiganders.
- 2:52Speaker 2: No recognition of connections to the Muslim Brotherhood?
- 2:55Speaker 1: Foreshadowing. I'll get to that.
- 2:58Speaker 2: But Alyssa Slotkin believes that one of the things that
- 3:02Speaker 2: Democrats have to do is scare 20-somethings from wanting to
- 3:07Speaker 2: work in the Trump administration or with Republicans and threaten them.
- 3:12Speaker 1: So that's what I'm saying.
- 3:13Speaker 4: I want to look at these signature cases and not
- 3:16Speaker 4: just focus on the president, but on the people who
- 3:19Speaker 4: enabled him. I want young people coming out of school
- 3:22Speaker 4: to say, should I go work for the Trump administration? Like,
- 3:24Speaker 4: that sounds fun. I might get an opportunity. I want
- 3:27Speaker 4: them to be like, Lord, that might be buying myself something.
- 3:30Speaker 4: A ton of problems that I don't want. And so
- 3:33Speaker 4: let me avoid participating in that. I want that deterrence message.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Wow.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Wait till she starts talking about black people. What?
- 3:46Speaker 2: It's it's it's the same thing. Oh, you worked for Trump.
- 3:50Speaker 2: We can't hire you. Oh, you're a conservative. We can't
- 3:52Speaker 2: hire you.
- 3:53Speaker 3: All right.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Now, I'm a guy who.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Believes in in in these freedoms.
- 3:59Speaker 1: If she wants that, she wants that.
- 4:00Speaker 2: As a member of Congress, it's a serious issue. A
- 4:05Speaker 2: serious issue. She's saying that Republicans shouldn't get hired. I
- 4:08Speaker 2: don't hire people who use pronouns. If your pronouns are
- 4:12Speaker 2: in your bio, I don't even look.
- 4:13Speaker 1: At your resume.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Now, I'm not hiring. Well, I am hiring digitally. I
- 4:18Speaker 2: am hiring digital people. But I'm not hiring people who
- 4:21Speaker 2: use pronouns.
- 4:22Speaker 3: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Note what I said. If pronouns are in your bio,
- 4:28Speaker 2: I don't hire. I didn't say what you were. I
- 4:33Speaker 2: didn't ask that question. I only asked the question, can
- 4:35Speaker 2: you do the job? It's all I ever ask. People
- 4:38Speaker 2: who put pronouns in their bio are telling me that
- 4:41Speaker 2: something's more important than the gig.
- 4:42Speaker 1: That they want. And I don't want that to be
- 4:45Speaker 1: the case. I don't need your bio. Hold on.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Brian Baker just texted me. Where do I send my resume? Dude,
- 4:55Speaker 2: you have a job. It's a whole radio gig. What
- 4:59Speaker 2: are you talking about? Just focus on one thing at.
- 5:02Speaker 1: A time, man. Good Lord. It's been two weeks. It's
- 5:07Speaker 1: been two weeks.
- 5:09Speaker 2: We don't usually get those kind of texts until after
- 5:11Speaker 2: at least two months on WIBC. You want to go
- 5:17Speaker 2: after conservatives? That's the Democratic Party. But that's only one.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Stick with me.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Here's the other one.
- 5:25Speaker 2: This is Willie Geist, MS Now, a guy on a
- 5:29Speaker 2: very personal level I have to stand for.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Oh, he made it personal. He doesn't even know it.
- 5:36Speaker 2: And this is him talking about why people are opposed
- 5:38Speaker 2: to Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Abdul El-Sayed was born in Michigan, raised in Michigan, went
- 5:43Speaker 3: to high school in Bloomfield Hills, went to the University
- 5:46Speaker 3: of Michigan, about as American as.
- 5:48Speaker 1: You can get.
- 5:49Speaker 3: And yet they're trying because, again, they don't want to
- 5:51Speaker 3: run on the economy or the issues or tariffs or
- 5:53Speaker 3: all of that that's really affecting people in Michigan. They're
- 5:56Speaker 3: trying to paint Abdul El-Sayed as some kind of an
- 5:59Speaker 3: other because of his name and his faith.
- 6:03Speaker 1: No, Willie Geist.
- 6:05Speaker 2: It's because he is some kind of another, because he
- 6:09Speaker 2: refuses to condemn terrorism.
- 6:11Speaker 1: He, in a 2018 speech in a synagogue, says, oh, Hamas.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Is bad, but the IDF is worse because he connects
- 6:19Speaker 2: himself with people like Hassan Piker and because he has
- 6:22Speaker 2: family connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and refuses to admit it.
- 6:27Speaker 1: It's about him.
- 6:32Speaker 2: When I was on MSNBC, oh, this was a decade ago,
- 6:37Speaker 2: I said, you talk about, this was during the days
- 6:40Speaker 2: of Obama, you talk about the birthers, the conspiracy theorists
- 6:44Speaker 2: about President Obama's birth. Let's talk about the racers, the
- 6:47Speaker 2: people who are conspiratorial about Barack Obama's race.
- 6:51Speaker 1: They hate him because he's black. They hate him this,
- 6:53Speaker 1: they hate him that.
- 6:54Speaker 2: What about the fact that he's awful? What about the
- 6:57Speaker 2: fact that Abdul El-Sayed did this to himself? And you
- 7:00Speaker 2: can call people bigots all you want. Who cares, Willie Geist?
- 7:03Speaker 2: You're just wrong. We're going to keep talking about it,
- 7:06Speaker 2: keep discussing it.
- 7:07Speaker 1: It is a problem.
- 7:08Speaker 2: And don't tell me he's as American as anybody else
- 7:11Speaker 2: because that dog won't hunt. Family connections to the Muslim
- 7:15Speaker 2: Brotherhood and his own connections to people like Hasan Piker,
- 7:18Speaker 2: bring that into question.
- 7:20Speaker 1: You don't like it? Who cares? The facts are the facts.
- 7:23Speaker 1: And you, you aren't really interested, now are you, Willie?
- 7:27Speaker 1: But we've seen that before.
