- 0:14Speaker 1: Right on. Welcome back to another fun episode of Get
- 0:18Speaker 1: to Know. I'm sorry, good to know. The first part
- 0:20Speaker 1: of the podcast is get to know. But welcome back.
- 0:24Speaker 2: This is week four where we bring on featured guests
- 0:26Speaker 2: that are going to be performing pretty soon close to
- 0:28Speaker 2: you in your area, very funny friends of mine, and
- 0:31Speaker 2: you guys are going to enjoy them too as well.
- 0:33Speaker 2: This next guest that I'm going to be bringing on
- 0:36Speaker 2: is one of the funniest people I know all the
- 0:39Speaker 2: way from up north and internet sensation.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Give a big round of applause for Corey McAlist, everybody.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Are they round of applausing?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I'll put it on in post.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Yeah. The great white north, Seattle. I can't go to Canada,
- 1:00Speaker 3: so I can't go to the actual great white north.
- 1:03Speaker 3: I'm already outing myself as a degenerate, but that's okay.
- 1:08Speaker 2: So being from Seattle, are you a Hawks fan too?
- 1:13Speaker 1: Seahawks fan or no?
- 1:14Speaker 3: Huge Seahawks fan. I feel badly because I'm coming to
- 1:18Speaker 3: San Diego and they no longer have a team. But listen,
- 1:23Speaker 3: I can relate. Oklahoma City stole my basketball team about
- 1:29Speaker 3: 12 years ago. So we don't have a basketball team.
- 1:33Speaker 3: So I feel your pain. Hopefully you'll get a team back.
- 1:37Speaker 3: You deserve one. But at the same time, go Hawks.
- 1:40Speaker 3: We just won the Super Bowl. Let's go. Yeah. And
- 1:44Speaker 3: sent Clint Kubiak over to you guys. Yeah.
- 1:48Speaker 1: The Raiders. The Raiders. Yeah, no.
- 1:53Speaker 2: They just announced, too, that they're going to have a
- 1:55Speaker 2: discussion coming up this summer to expand the league by
- 1:59Speaker 2: two teams.
- 2:00Speaker 1: And it's going to be Vegas and Seattle. So you
- 2:03Speaker 1: might get your team back.
- 2:04Speaker 3: That's the idea. I'm like Cooper Cup in the Super Bowl.
- 2:06Speaker 3: I won't count it until there's triple zeros on the clock.
- 2:09Speaker 3: I don't know if you saw that clip, but he's like,
- 2:12Speaker 3: I'm not celebrating and I can't. Adam Silver has been,
- 2:18Speaker 3: he's at Seattle in every interview and then once every
- 2:20Speaker 3: blue moon he goes, Mexico City maybe. And I'm like,
- 2:23Speaker 3: you better not. You fuck you. You better not.
- 2:29Speaker 1: But, you know.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah, we're talking sports. NFL has gone global, and that
- 2:35Speaker 3: has been very smart of them, and basketball probably needs
- 2:39Speaker 3: to do it. So I get why there'd be talk
- 2:42Speaker 3: of going a little more outside the boundaries of the country,
- 2:47Speaker 3: but let's not do it this expansion. Let's start small.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Start small. Have, like, Jennifer Lopez do the halftime show
- 2:56Speaker 3: of the All-Star Game or something.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I don't know. Anybody be a Fergie? I love the fact, oh, Fergie, right?
- 3:04Speaker 3: Sure.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I love the fact that Cooper Cupp got his ring
- 3:09Speaker 2: in the face of the Rams and everything like that
- 3:12Speaker 2: to get rid of him. And then he just was like, oh,
- 3:14Speaker 2: all right.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Yeah, he's beloved by them. And he's from, he went
- 3:20Speaker 3: to school in Eastern, he's from Yakima, which is Eastern Washington.
- 3:23Speaker 3: And then he went to Eastern Washington University, a small
- 3:26Speaker 3: college and was amazing. And so in his home state,
- 3:29Speaker 3: I assume he grew up, kind of like in the Seahawks.
- 3:32Speaker 3: I don't know. I haven't asked, I haven't asked him
- 3:36Speaker 3: my weekly phone calls with him, but yeah, good times to,
- 3:41Speaker 3: to get one. And yeah, it worked out so great
- 3:44Speaker 3: for the Raiders to get our coach last time that
- 3:47Speaker 3: we just sent you another one, you know?
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 3:49Speaker 2: And then, and then we took the, I guess they
- 3:51Speaker 2: just announced the QB coach too.
- 3:53Speaker 1: And so he's going to be our OC as well.
- 3:55Speaker 1: So I don't know, man, it's, It's been rough. I
- 3:58Speaker 1: got that right here.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I respect, you know, I mean, it's like being a
- 4:05Speaker 3: Mariners fan for 21 years. We were the longest drought
- 4:11Speaker 3: in professional sports, making the playoffs, and then now we
- 4:15Speaker 3: were pretty good. We almost made the series last year
- 4:18Speaker 3: and would have lost to the Dodgers, but still, maybe
- 4:24Speaker 3: next year.
- 4:25Speaker 1: That's a good ballpark, too, the Mariners. I've been to
- 4:27Speaker 1: the Mariners ballpark. It's really nice.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I went and seen, because I'm an A's fan, so
- 4:31Speaker 2: I went down and checked out the A's over there
- 4:33Speaker 2: when I was doing the underground, back when the underground
- 4:35Speaker 2: was a thing.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Yeah, man.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I really liked the underground, the comedy underground. It was nice.
- 4:41Speaker 1: It was amazing. And at one point, the parlor had
- 4:46Speaker 1: a downtown location. I remember doing that.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Quite a story. I won't, you know, I won't cast aspersions,
- 4:52Speaker 3: but they opened one year on the dot. It's solid.
- 4:55Speaker 3: All it lasted. And then on a Monday, the doors
- 4:59Speaker 3: were locked and everybody was like, oh, I guess it's over. Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:04Speaker 2: It was a trip to go back a couple of
- 5:06Speaker 2: years later. And then I was like, it was like
- 5:07Speaker 2: a Fox sports bar. And I was like, this used
- 5:09Speaker 2: to be the parlor.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I was like, wait, hold on. And then, um, yeah.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And in Bellevue, it was nice. Bellevue's fucking beautiful. That's
- 5:17Speaker 1: a nice place.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Yeah. Bellevue is our rich ritzy area so the east
- 5:22Speaker 3: side of the lake like Washington is a little yeah
- 5:30Speaker 3: a little cleaner a little nicer a little higher class
- 5:34Speaker 3: of businesses and things I don't know than Seattle I
- 5:38Speaker 3: suppose proper but Seattle proper is a little grittier but
- 5:43Speaker 3: that's where all of the you know Gates has a
- 5:45Speaker 3: house on the lake and yeah everybody has houses on
- 5:49Speaker 3: that lake and medina is a very rich neighborhood and
- 5:53Speaker 3: mercer island and this whole thing and so yeah i'll
- 5:57Speaker 3: make it i will make an island joke but we
- 5:59Speaker 3: yes we uh.
- 6:02Speaker 2: It is so pretty right it's so pretty everywhere is
- 6:05Speaker 2: like even like uh even the the shitty like well
- 6:08Speaker 2: i don't want to say shitty but just like a
- 6:10Speaker 2: little rougher area sure i was down i was down
- 6:12Speaker 2: in a tacoma oh yeah uh almost by sea tack
- 6:15Speaker 2: and i was like i go it's Like, I don't
- 6:17Speaker 2: mind looking at, you know, drug addicts as long as
- 6:21Speaker 2: there's a lot of greenery.
- 6:24Speaker 3: You can see Mount Rainier. You can see the sunset,
- 6:28Speaker 3: see the water, Puget Sound, trees everywhere. And then, yeah,
- 6:34Speaker 3: you know, we have the Space Needle and a few
- 6:36Speaker 3: other needles here and there.
- 6:38Speaker 1: For real.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Yeah. But, I mean, I feel this is how I
- 6:42Speaker 3: feel going to San Diego, like... it's not vastly different
- 6:47Speaker 3: than Seattle, but it's like ocean. We're not ocean. We're
- 6:52Speaker 3: the sound, you know? So it's like when I go
- 6:54Speaker 3: to San Diego to me, it's like, Oh, this is amazing.
- 6:56Speaker 3: It's literal ocean water and, uh, the fog in the
- 7:01Speaker 3: morning and then 75 give or take two degrees every day.
- 7:05Speaker 3: It feels like, so, uh, I love it. My Torrey
- 7:09Speaker 3: Pines hat. Cause I'm a golfer. So I, play Torrey
- 7:13Speaker 3: pines if I can, when I'm down there.
- 7:15Speaker 1: And, uh, yeah, that's right.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Diego, you got it going on. I think that's what
- 7:20Speaker 3: I say.
- 7:21Speaker 1: That's right. We went golfing. I remember, and I was, uh,
- 7:25Speaker 1: it was during a big pine, um, like function. Yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And you and, uh, uh, was.
- 7:31Speaker 3: It, uh, Chuck, Chuck Johnson's pretty strong. He's good.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:35Speaker 3: We go head to head when we play. Yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 1: You got like, you guys had equipment.
- 7:40Speaker 2: I was like, shit, I don't know what I was like, dude,
- 7:42Speaker 2: I was like, I don't, I was like, I remember
- 7:44Speaker 2: talking to, uh, who, uh.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Uh, um, and it's leaving my brain.
- 7:49Speaker 2: We were in the, in the golf cart and we,
- 7:51Speaker 2: I remember he just looking at me as like, buddy, like, uh,
- 7:54Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm doing here.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Uh, it's getting hot now. We need to get out
- 7:58Speaker 1: of here. You know, I'm not good.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Golf is so tough and it's so snobby. And so,
- 8:05Speaker 3: but there is, you know, it's just wild. Cause like
- 8:11Speaker 3: it's expensive, uh, And then it's time. When you go bowling,
- 8:15Speaker 3: if you suck, who cares? You rent the lane, it's
- 8:17Speaker 3: your lane. Nobody can say shit. Um, but in golf,
- 8:23Speaker 3: like it's time, there's people behind you and it's nerve
- 8:26Speaker 3: wracking and it's really hard when you're new or not
- 8:30Speaker 3: good yet, you know? And it's like, but you just,
- 8:34Speaker 3: the thing is most people, what they do is just
- 8:37Speaker 3: kind of go, all right, well I'll just pick up
- 8:39Speaker 3: and we'll try again on the next hole. And, uh,
- 8:43Speaker 3: And I don't care. People constantly, if they want to play,
- 8:46Speaker 3: are like, sorry if I'm not. I'm like, oh, I
- 8:49Speaker 3: don't care. I'm not. I'm often not good. And even
- 8:53Speaker 3: on a day where I'm playing great, it's just fine
- 8:55Speaker 3: by me. I'll play with anybody. I don't care.
- 8:57Speaker 1: It was so funny. Yeah, it was Ryan Cott. That's
- 8:59Speaker 1: who it was. He was like, buddy.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. I was trying to process who it would
- 9:04Speaker 3: have been to. Great guy, yeah.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Yeah, Ryan's great. Ryan's great. He was like, buddy, we
- 9:08Speaker 1: got to get out of here. This is fucking me up.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And I was like, yeah, dude. I'm fine. cool we're
- 9:13Speaker 1: both swinging after you know you.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Know it's over like just we just start making jokes
- 9:16Speaker 2: we're like we're just having fun now now we're just
- 9:18Speaker 2: right i'm like let's not piss off cory and chuck
- 9:20Speaker 2: because they are doing they're they're like they got the
- 9:22Speaker 2: he had the the thing where he looked through the
- 9:24Speaker 2: eyeglass and he could.
- 9:28Speaker 3: See i bring like yeah i bring all that on
- 9:29Speaker 3: that my clubs are literally right behind my computer right
- 9:32Speaker 3: now i bring it all on the road with me
- 9:35Speaker 3: and uh yeah range finder we call it so you're
- 9:38Speaker 3: Using it to determine exactly how far the pin is
- 9:41Speaker 3: away or the cart girl in her bikini. That's the
- 9:45Speaker 3: way you can use it.
- 9:48Speaker 1: What did you call it? Oh, that's the internet sensation.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I wanted to ask that because we had to talk
- 9:53Speaker 2: about that too because you know um people were your
- 9:56Speaker 2: clips went viral but and then well they went viral
- 9:59Speaker 2: two times over um because uh they were lip-synced by people.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Oh yeah yeah i mean it's so funny like so
- 10:08Speaker 3: i i got lucky to do dry bar comedy special
- 10:13Speaker 3: and nobody you know it's sort of interesting they're like
- 10:15Speaker 3: the first to kind of go clip based with stand-up
- 10:19Speaker 3: um they really, but they did it differently. They did
- 10:22Speaker 3: it like, you know, four by three on Facebook and
- 10:25Speaker 3: now it's all nine by 16 for phones on Instagram,
- 10:29Speaker 3: Tik TOK and, um, YouTube and stuff. And so I've never,
- 10:33Speaker 3: I haven't quite taken advantage of it as well as others,
- 10:37Speaker 3: but it's cause it went viral on their pages. And then, um,
- 10:41Speaker 3: but pandemic, I put them up on my stuff and
- 10:45Speaker 3: they did okay. And then, yeah, it's weird to see
- 10:47Speaker 3: people like, um, I don't even know if that's still
- 10:50Speaker 3: a thing. I haven't had one of my clips lip
- 10:51Speaker 3: synced in a long time, but yeah, people will, will
- 10:55Speaker 3: lip sync your jokes. And it's a, and then they, they,
- 10:59Speaker 3: that was, yeah. And then a woman got a million
- 11:01Speaker 3: views on that. And then I was like, oh, well
- 11:03Speaker 3: then I'm going to react to her lip syncing my face.
- 11:06Speaker 3: It's like Kevin Bacon, six degrees of separation of like,
- 11:11Speaker 3: how many times am I going to, It's like when
- 11:13Speaker 3: you look in a mirror, and then there's a mirror
- 11:15Speaker 3: behind you, and then it just keeps reflecting. Yeah. How
- 11:18Speaker 3: many times am I going to share the thing of
- 11:21Speaker 3: the thing of the thing? Basically, until you can't... I
- 11:28Speaker 3: don't know if you can... I mean, you can annoy
- 11:30Speaker 3: the internet, but I don't know if you can... Can
- 11:34Speaker 3: you overpost? I don't know. It's so... It's all gross, but...
- 11:40Speaker 3: It allows us to have a career and people find
- 11:42Speaker 3: out about us and then see us live, which is
- 11:44Speaker 3: what we really want, right? Come to Mic Drop Comedy
- 11:47Speaker 3: San Diego. See me live. It's more fun.
- 11:49Speaker 1: When are you going to be there again?
- 11:52Speaker 3: So yeah, what I'll be doing is March 8th is
- 11:54Speaker 3: a Sunday. I have a bad teacher's show is what
- 11:59Speaker 3: I call it, which is like funny because I spent
- 12:03Speaker 3: the first 15 years of comedy trying to not be
- 12:06Speaker 3: locked into I'm a teacher comedian, but then It's worked
- 12:10Speaker 3: out pretty well for some folks. And now there's these
- 12:14Speaker 3: touring comedy shows. And I just separately was like, well,
- 12:19Speaker 3: why don't I just do one every once in a while?
- 12:23Speaker 3: And so that's what I do. Basically, it was Danielle
- 12:28Speaker 3: at Comedy Catch in Chattanooga, who you know, of course.
- 12:30Speaker 3: She goes... let's just add one to your weekend. And
- 12:34Speaker 3: we sold like 150 tickets. So I was like, well,
- 12:37Speaker 3: all right. And then last night I did one and
- 12:38Speaker 3: we sold 200 plus tickets because today is a holiday.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:42Speaker 3: I just find cities where they don't have school on
- 12:45Speaker 3: Monday or don't have school on a Friday. And I
- 12:49Speaker 3: call up the club and go, Hey baby, can we, anyway,
- 12:53Speaker 3: March 9th, Monday, there's no school, San Diego schools. There's
- 12:57Speaker 3: no school. sometimes the teachers don't know. So they see
- 12:59Speaker 3: my ad, like I'll run an ad and they'll go like,
- 13:02Speaker 3: why are you.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Doing this on a Sunday?
- 13:03Speaker 3: And I'm like, Hey, Hey goofball, you don't have school
- 13:06Speaker 3: the next day. How do I know this? And you
- 13:07Speaker 3: don't know this.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:09Speaker 3: I know every day of the year I didn't have
- 13:11Speaker 3: school when I was a teacher. So, uh, anyway, I
- 13:13Speaker 3: used to teach high school, going to do a teacher show,
- 13:15Speaker 3: teacher themed show on Sunday, the 8th of March at
- 13:19Speaker 3: Mike drop San Diego and the gold room. And then
- 13:22Speaker 3: the night before they had their 10 o'clock slot open.
- 13:24Speaker 3: So I said, Hey, toss me in. And, uh, put
- 13:28Speaker 3: me in coach and I'll, uh, see if I can
- 13:30Speaker 3: get a few people out to that one as well.
- 13:31Speaker 3: So I get to do, but you know, I get
- 13:32Speaker 3: to do my regular act that's, uh, dirty and what
- 13:35Speaker 3: I want to do. And then I get to do
- 13:37Speaker 3: the teacher theme stuff, which is very fun and teachers
- 13:40Speaker 3: love it. So, yeah. Oh shit.
- 13:43Speaker 1: So, okay.
- 13:43Speaker 2: So that's actually great to lead into what we're going
- 13:46Speaker 2: to go to next is a good to know. And
- 13:48Speaker 2: it's a portion of the show where we just, we, we,
- 13:50Speaker 2: we do some trivia and, uh, let's, let's, let's see where, where,
- 13:54Speaker 2: where you land on this. Uh, so basically you're, what
- 13:56Speaker 2: happens is, Yeah, go ahead. Basically, you're put up against
- 14:00Speaker 2: week four across the board of all the Mic Drop comics.
- 14:03Speaker 3: I see. So here's what happens with trivia for me.
- 14:07Speaker 3: I used to teach history in high school, and when
- 14:10Speaker 3: I do trivia, everybody's like, geography or history comes up,
- 14:14Speaker 3: and they go, Corey! And I go, oh, nah.
- 14:18Speaker 1: It's so funny because the first question is a history question.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Oh, hilarious. I was one day smarter than 14-year-olds. Like,
- 14:24Speaker 3: I was just in the textbook the night before... When
- 14:27Speaker 3: I do trivia, it needs to be like 90s alternative
- 14:31Speaker 3: rock music, grunge, or backs of baseball cards from the mid-80s.
- 14:37Speaker 3: That's hilarious. Those are two things. If it's anything connected
- 14:41Speaker 3: to that, I got you. But otherwise, we'll see. We'll
- 14:44Speaker 3: see how this goes.
- 14:46Speaker 1: That sounds so fun. That trivia sounds hella fun.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, they never do sports because trivia people
- 14:52Speaker 3: aren't really sort of. tend... Like, bar trivia, people tend
- 14:57Speaker 3: to not be sort of sport folk.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Yeah. Anyway. That's so funny. I totally forgot that, too.
- 15:03Speaker 1: And also, too, that's the area that you were all
- 15:05Speaker 1: birthed at. That's awesome.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, maybe.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Okay, so the first question in the trivia is name
- 15:15Speaker 2: two of the World War II Axis powers.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Oh, the Axis versus the Allies. So... two of the
- 15:25Speaker 3: Axis powers oh my god it's been eight years and
- 15:28Speaker 3: I always get allies and Axis mixed up so that's
- 15:32Speaker 3: why I.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Put it because I do too that's why I was
- 15:34Speaker 1: like this would be good for me.
- 15:35Speaker 3: As well I know my gosh okay all right so
- 15:38Speaker 3: I just have to name them the Axis of Evil
- 15:44Speaker 3: World War II well originally originally was Germany and Japan
- 15:53Speaker 3: but then.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Well, that's two.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Okay. Nailed it.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:59Speaker 3: All right.
- 16:00Speaker 1: That's two. Yeah, yeah.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Boom.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Well done. Okay. Yeah. The third one is Italy.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Yeah. Mussolini.
- 16:07Speaker 1: There's some other ones, too. Yeah. Some other tag runners. Yeah. So,
- 16:14Speaker 1: all right. One down. All right. So, two. Question number two. Oh,
- 16:20Speaker 1: sports one. It says, name baseball teams that have never
- 16:23Speaker 1: won a World Series. Oh, you can name one. You
- 16:26Speaker 1: don't have to name them all. You can name one.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Seattle Mariners.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Yeah, it is. Let's see if I can get the others. Well,
- 16:36Speaker 3: the Montreal Expos never won, but they're not a team anymore.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Miami Marlins haven't won, but the Florida Marlins did. I
- 16:45Speaker 3: don't know who else. Anyway.
- 16:47Speaker 1: There's Tampa Bay hasn't won.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Oh, they never won. Yeah, that's right.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Colorado Rockies have never won. Milwaukee Brewers. And the San
- 16:56Speaker 1: Diego Padres. The Padres.
- 16:59Speaker 3: The Padres. Wow.
- 17:02Speaker 1: The San Diego Fathers.
- 17:04Speaker 3: What's funny is those are all expansion teams. Not newer,
- 17:09Speaker 3: but the Rays and the Rockies are expansion teams, and
- 17:13Speaker 3: then there's the Mariners who have been around forever. Oh, God. Anyway.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 17:20Speaker 2: All right, so, oh, question number three, another history question.
- 17:23Speaker 1: This is so funny that it works out this way.
- 17:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:26Speaker 1: It's important to history. It's who shot JFK?
- 17:32Speaker 3: Oh, from the book suppository, we got Lee Harvey Oswald.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Yes, dang. Have you ever been?
- 17:38Speaker 3: No, I haven't been on the street.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Well, you know what?
- 17:43Speaker 3: I guess it's possible I wasn't paying attention or I
- 17:46Speaker 3: was in an Uber a little bit drunk, but.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Have you been to Dallas? Well, they've got this club
- 17:52Speaker 3: in Plano. You can do not drive on this.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Okay.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Comedians go all over the country and it's sort of like,
- 17:58Speaker 3: I won't call it hacky, but it's a common joke
- 18:00Speaker 3: to be like, you guys can't drive or you suck
- 18:02Speaker 3: at drive Dallas legitimately. I don't know if they're bad drivers.
- 18:06Speaker 3: They're just very, very, very aggressive. 85 plus miles per hour.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Every single person aggressive weaving in and out. I can't
- 18:15Speaker 3: do it. So I don't, you know, he, you know,
- 18:18Speaker 3: if you don't get shot, you're going to get in
- 18:20Speaker 3: an accident.
- 18:20Speaker 1: It was basically because everyone carries the, uh, yeah, no.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Um, I went to Dallas and I, and I went
- 18:28Speaker 2: in cause I was like big J K like conspiracy.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I was like, I want to go check it out.
- 18:33Speaker 2: So I went and, uh, got up there to the, uh,
- 18:36Speaker 2: to the top floor, you know, you could look out
- 18:37Speaker 2: and it's just like.
- 18:38Speaker 1: It's so small.
- 18:40Speaker 3: You're like, yeah, interesting.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Your brain thinks it's like, Oh, that, you can like,
- 18:45Speaker 2: it's such a far distance and dah, dah, dah, dah.
- 18:47Speaker 2: And this would be an impossible shot. But then you
- 18:50Speaker 2: look and you're like, I could, I could make, I'm
- 18:51Speaker 2: not even a good shot.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I can make this. It's so close. It's so you
- 18:54Speaker 1: get to practice.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Hey, you, you have a shot.
- 18:57Speaker 1: You get a, you get a, yeah. Um, that's all.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Uh, yeah. So the, so you can see the grassy
- 19:02Speaker 3: knoll and the whole thing. And then who's Charlie Harvey Oswald.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Anybody, anybody.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Yeah. Ruby.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Uh, what's the name? What's the first name? Jack Ruby.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, man.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I was going to say, the square where they shot him,
- 19:24Speaker 2: where he got shot at, some of our local parks
- 19:27Speaker 2: are way huger than that little plaza.
- 19:30Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 19:31Speaker 2: It's insane when you go. Okay, so on to question four.
- 19:36Speaker 2: How many cities have the Raiders played for?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Ooh.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Ooh.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Three? Yes, it has three of them, Oakland, LA, and
- 19:50Speaker 1: Las Vegas.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Alright.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Okay, here's another sports question. It's awesome that you get
- 19:55Speaker 1: all these sports questions. Collusion.
- 19:59Speaker 3: This does feel like I sent questions in.
- 20:06Speaker 1: How many championships does Tom Brady have?
- 20:11Speaker 3: Nine? No.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Tom Brady has seven. He has one for each day
- 20:17Speaker 1: of the week.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Oh, Belichick has nine. But he had two without Brady.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Maybe he doesn't have nine. Maybe I'm wrong about Belichick's nine. Well,
- 20:29Speaker 3: I know.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Yeah, because I know Brady got one without him in
- 20:33Speaker 2: Tampa Bay.
- 20:34Speaker 3: He did. So maybe I'm thinking six. Maybe I flipped
- 20:37Speaker 3: the nine over in the six. I do that sometimes.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Yeah, shoot.
- 20:47Speaker 3: All right. Yeah, he got one in Tampa Bay, maybe.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Belichick didn't get into the first round of the hall,
- 20:52Speaker 3: and I thought they kept saying it. You know, maybe
- 20:54Speaker 3: they're counting him as an assistant somewhere else. Or maybe
- 20:57Speaker 3: I'm wrong about the nine. We'll look it up later.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Yeah, check it out.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Okay, so question number six. How many seasons of Def
- 21:06Speaker 2: Comedy Jam were there?
- 21:12Speaker 3: Def Comedy Jam. This is tough with shows because Survivor
- 21:18Speaker 3: is on season 70 or something, but it hasn't been
- 21:21Speaker 3: around for 70 years. They have multiple seasons a year.
- 21:24Speaker 3: So I don't know if Def Comedy Jam was similar.
- 21:27Speaker 3: I'm going to say... I was going to say 11.
- 21:33Speaker 3: I'm saying 7.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So close. It was 8.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Dang. Yeah, yeah.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Good guess, though. Good guess.
- 21:43Speaker 3: All right.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Here's another pop culture question.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Mariah Carey, You'll Always Be My Baby is on what
- 21:50Speaker 2: album of hers?
- 21:52Speaker 3: You'll Always Be My Baby. I don't think I can
- 22:06Speaker 3: name a Mariah Carey album. Not even the Christmas one?
- 22:14Speaker 3: I mean, I know the name of the song. I
- 22:16Speaker 3: don't know the name of the album. That's the thing.
- 22:20Speaker 3: I mean, I used to, when we were kids, you'd
- 22:22Speaker 3: buy the album, you'd open up the cover, you'd have
- 22:24Speaker 3: the lyrics, and now albums are out. I mean, this
- 22:27Speaker 3: is an older song, of course.
- 22:28Speaker 1: But, okay.
- 22:29Speaker 3: I'm going to say... Sometimes the number one hit is
- 22:37Speaker 3: also the name of the album. I'm just going to
- 22:38Speaker 3: say Mariah. Oh, no, no.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I'm sorry, sir. It is called Daydream. Yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. For sure.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:47Speaker 3: That wasn't up there. Man, I shouldn't have said that
- 22:50Speaker 3: thing about how it feels like I sent in the questions.
- 22:52Speaker 3: I've been over three since I said that.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Ever since another stream has started. Question eight. What city
- 23:02Speaker 1: was the first McDonald's located in?
- 23:07Speaker 3: Oh. If the documentary, or not documentary, that movie with,
- 23:13Speaker 3: what's his name, Michael Keaton. He used to do stand-up,
- 23:16Speaker 3: by the way.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Accurate.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Cleveland? Cleveland?
- 23:22Speaker 1: The founder? No, no, not Cleveland. It's in California. I'll
- 23:26Speaker 1: give you that. I'll give you that. Try that.
- 23:28Speaker 3: All right.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Sacramento? No, no, no, not Sacramento.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 23:33Speaker 2: It's funny because Sacramento was the second place I think
- 23:36Speaker 2: it was at. But the first place was San Bernardino.
- 23:39Speaker 3: All right.
- 23:39Speaker 1: My, oh, my. Yeah, right there, the Inland Empire.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Catching up. All right.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Okay, so... Did he know this?
- 23:49Speaker 3: I don't know. Does this count that he gets points?
- 23:51Speaker 2: It's usually just supposed to say missed.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I don't know why I'm saying that.
- 23:57Speaker 3: It's the way I got you.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
- 23:59Speaker 3: We'll let you. Yeah, yeah. It's fine.
- 24:01Speaker 1: And then he said, this is rigged. It's rigged. Rigged,
- 24:05Speaker 1: I tell you. Question number nine. Okay. How many U.S.
- 24:10Speaker 1: presidents are there?
- 24:14Speaker 3: How many individual U.S. presidents have there been? Yes. Dang.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Not how many, not, not. So like two terms is
- 24:23Speaker 3: one president.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Okay. Wow. That's how long, how long do I get here?
- 24:30Speaker 1: All right.
- 24:30Speaker 3: So I would say about, I would guess like somewhere
- 24:34Speaker 3: in the neighborhood of 60, 70% are two termers. 30? 30.
- 24:40Speaker 1: No, sorry, sir. The correct answer is 45. The correct
- 24:49Speaker 1: answer is 45. 45?
- 24:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Alright, Final Jeopardy. This is that you can wager
- 24:59Speaker 2: your points. You have four points to wager. If you'd
- 25:04Speaker 2: like to wager any points.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Do so now. I'm trying to beat you or I'm
- 25:13Speaker 3: trying to beat the other comics this week.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to beat the other comics of this week, yeah.
- 25:19Speaker 3: All right. I'm trying to get... Usually in Final Jeopardy,
- 25:24Speaker 3: you get to know the category. I'm just throwing that
- 25:26Speaker 3: out there.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay. Category? I'll say geography. You know what?
- 25:31Speaker 1: That's a really good point. I could definitely do that
- 25:33Speaker 1: from now on.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Geography. Oh, I literally said at the beginning, every time
- 25:38Speaker 3: it says geography, I go.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Okay. I'm going to wager....
- 25:47Speaker 3: I can wager one through four? Yeah. Or zero through four?
- 25:52Speaker 1: You can do none.
- 25:55Speaker 3: I'm going big, baby. I'm waging all four. Let's go.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Let's go. Let's go. Let's roll this dice.
- 26:00Speaker 3: All right.
- 26:01Speaker 2: The final Jeopardy question is, what states do not participate
- 26:06Speaker 2: in daylight savings?
- 26:08Speaker 1: Doesn't?
- 26:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Which ones do not participate in daylight savings? Which states?
- 26:14Speaker 3: I mean, it's changed. And I need to get all
- 26:16Speaker 3: of them, eh?
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah, because there's only... Oh, yeah, I can't give you
- 26:20Speaker 1: the number.
- 26:20Speaker 3: There's only how many?
- 26:23Speaker 1: So close.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Well, there's been changes to this, but I'm going Indiana
- 26:32Speaker 3: and Arizona.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Oh, so we got one of them. Okay. I'll give
- 26:39Speaker 1: you a chance to.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I'll give you Arizona, but there's one more.
- 26:45Speaker 3: All right, so Indiana, yeah, Indiana doesn't anymore, I don't think.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Arizona and, um, and not Indiana. That's the change, I think.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Um, Alaska? Close.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Oh, Hawaii. Dang. Yes, Hawaii. Dang it.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Oh, we got it. I didn't know Hawaii didn't.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Indiana used to not, and they changed it, eh? Well, well, well.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Zero it is.
- 27:33Speaker 1: According to AI, yeah. Right on, right on. Well, I mean,
- 27:37Speaker 1: that was fun.
- 27:37Speaker 2: It was fun to bullshit and catch up and do this.
- 27:40Speaker 2: So I'm glad to see you. And also, too, I
- 27:44Speaker 2: can't wait to see you out in San Diego March
- 27:46Speaker 2: 8th on a Sunday.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Yep, for No School Monday. So teachers come out. And
- 27:52Speaker 3: if you're not a teacher, you'll enjoy the show. It's fun.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:56Speaker 2: So you guys, definitely come check out Corey. Thank you
- 27:59Speaker 2: so much for joining and being a part of this, man.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Really appreciate it.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I appreciate you. Thank you so much. All right.
