  Speaker 1: For today's word, strength and patience, Colossians one eleven says,

  Speaker 1: being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might,

  Speaker 1: so that you may have great.

  Speaker 2: Endurance and patience.

  Speaker 1: You know, it's interesting that in today's scripture, the apostle

  Speaker 1: Paul didn't pray that God would remove every difficulty from

  Speaker 1: the Colossians or deliver them instantly. He prayed that they'd
• 0:32
  Speaker 1: have the strength to go through the tough times with
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: a good attitude.

  Speaker 2: He knew that.

  Speaker 1: When we're being stretched, God is developing our character. See

  Speaker 1: that's why it's so important to trust God and know

  Speaker 1: that all things, the good times, and yes even those

  Speaker 1: stretching times, are.

  Speaker 2: Working out for our good.

  Speaker 1: We've got to realize that if we know him and

  Speaker 1: we know his character, then we know that if He

  Speaker 1: has allowed a season of testing, it's gonna stretch us

  Speaker 1: to increase our capacity, but it's also going to bless

  Speaker 1: us in the end. If we keep the right attitude,

  Speaker 1: if we remain at peace and at rest, will come

  Speaker 1: You may be facing some battles today like I am,

  Speaker 1: good attitude. Fight the urge to complain or speak, defeat

  Speaker 1: or doubt. Get some scriptures to align with what you're

  Speaker 1: believing God for the scripture says that you have the

  Speaker 1: power of the Most High God inside of you to

  Speaker 1: withstand whatever comes your way. You are more than a conqueror,

  Speaker 1: a victor and not a victim. You have to turn

  Speaker 1: the situation over to God and let it go. Don't

  Speaker 1: let it dominate your thoughts or your words. Pray for

  Speaker 1: strength and patience to grow through you. Stay in peace,

  Speaker 1: Oh Father God, thank you that your power to strengthen

  Speaker 1: us in times of difficulty is so much greater than

  Speaker 1: the greatest force that can ever come against us. Thank

  Speaker 1: you that we can put our discouragement behind us and

  Speaker 1: stir up our faith in You. We believe that we

  Speaker 1: are more than conquerors and we will overcome this in

  Speaker 1: every situation.
