- 1:26SPEAKER_02: Don't be dropping shit in the back.
- 1:27SPEAKER_02: My drummer's from about that way.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: Is he?
- 1:29SPEAKER_03: He is.
- 1:30SPEAKER_03: Reed.
- 1:30SPEAKER_03: Oh yes.
- 1:31SPEAKER_03: I love Reed.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: Reed's a good guy.
- 1:33SPEAKER_03: You have a good band.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: They're shit.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: You totally do.
- 1:35SPEAKER_03: They're fun.
- 1:35SPEAKER_08: How'd you end up in country music?
- 1:37SPEAKER_08: How'd you end up in this amazing city?
- 1:39SPEAKER_08: So um I transferred to Belmont University last year and alumni.
- 1:44SPEAKER_08: Oh, yeah.
- 1:45SPEAKER_08: Oh, I'm dropping out.
- 1:47SPEAKER_02: Oh but you're not going to Fresno.
- 1:49SPEAKER_08: Uh no.
- 1:50SPEAKER_08: It's not a math problem, isn't it?
- 1:52SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 1:52SPEAKER_08: Yeah, but um, I just I've been writing songs since I was 12 years old, and I just love music.
- 1:58SPEAKER_08: Why country music?
- 2:00SPEAKER_08: Well, I actually don't really do country music.
- 2:01SPEAKER_08: I actually do more like alternative pop music.
- 2:04SPEAKER_08: Really?
- 2:04SPEAKER_08: Yes.
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: That would have been nice if somebody threw that on the scratch.
- 2:08SPEAKER_08: I mean, I have I have some country influence in my music for sure.
- 2:11SPEAKER_08: Okay.
- 2:11SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 2:12SPEAKER_08: You had two singles, Al?
- 2:13SPEAKER_08: Yes.
- 2:13SPEAKER_08: Well, give us a name.
- 2:14SPEAKER_08: Uh they're called Fire Resistant and Taken Over.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Fire Resistant.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: All these cool ass titles today.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: All day.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Everybody's dropping titles in my damn audience.
- 2:25SPEAKER_08: It's been it's a good title day today.
- 2:27SPEAKER_08: It really is.
- 2:28SPEAKER_08: When I first wrote Fire Resistant, I like didn't even know if that made sense.
- 2:31SPEAKER_08: I was like, wait, is that a thing?
- 2:34SPEAKER_08: Your thing?
- 2:34SPEAKER_08: It was my thing.
- 2:35SPEAKER_08: It's your thing.
- 2:36SPEAKER_08: You can own it.
- 2:37SPEAKER_08: Are you here in Nashville now?
- 2:38SPEAKER_08: Yes, I'm based in Nashville.
- 2:39SPEAKER_08: Wow, do you love it?
- 2:41SPEAKER_08: I really do.
- 2:41SPEAKER_08: It's like it really is true what they say, how it's like a big city, small town feel.
- 2:45SPEAKER_08: It's a I've been here for a year and I already like know my way around everywhere.
- 2:49SPEAKER_08: So have you met some cool people?
- 2:51SPEAKER_08: Yes.
- 2:51SPEAKER_08: I have found like the best friends.
- 2:53SPEAKER_08: Oh, that makes my heart so happy.
- 2:55SPEAKER_04: Are they all Belmont friends?
- 2:56SPEAKER_08: No.
- 2:57SPEAKER_08: Well, actually, they all dropped out.
- 2:58SPEAKER_04: Oh, there you are.
- 2:59SPEAKER_04: We got the dropout community there.
- 3:01SPEAKER_02: Belmont University, let me tell you.
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: How's your going over there?
- 3:05SPEAKER_04: So you just got a full send at whatever you want to do.
- 3:07SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 3:08SPEAKER_04: You gotta follow your happiness.
- 3:10SPEAKER_02: That's amazing.
- 3:10SPEAKER_02: So you were there, you're not going back to Belmont.
- 3:12SPEAKER_08: Where are you playing?
- 3:14SPEAKER_08: Um, like around town and stuff.
- 3:16SPEAKER_08: Um, well, I have a gig coming up um at the Cannery Hall January 28th.
- 3:21SPEAKER_08: So I'm really excited about that.
- 3:22SPEAKER_08: Awesome.
- 3:23SPEAKER_08: It's gonna be like my first show, so I'm really excited.
- 3:26SPEAKER_08: Woo woo! Do you need us up front?
- 3:28SPEAKER_08: Oh my gosh.
- 3:28SPEAKER_08: Would it be your hype girls?
- 3:29SPEAKER_08: Yes, I love you guys too.
- 3:30SPEAKER_08: We would love that.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: Where's your inspiration for music come from?
- 3:34SPEAKER_08: Um, a lot of different things, like mostly like female singer-songwriters like Sarah Brellaz and Fiona Apple.
- 3:41SPEAKER_08: And um, but sorry, what was the question again?
- 3:44SPEAKER_08: I just like who's your inspiration.
- 3:47SPEAKER_08: She's on my hands.
- 3:47SPEAKER_08: I got distracted.
- 3:49SPEAKER_04: There's a lot of stuff around here.
- 3:50SPEAKER_04: I love that she's on.
- 3:51SPEAKER_04: There's a lot going on.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: There's a whole lot of shit going on in here.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: It's been a lot, but yeah, no, I love how you just did that.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: I would have probably broken the song.
- 3:58SPEAKER_02: Row, row, row your boat or something.
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: But yeah, where your inspirations come from.
- 4:01SPEAKER_08: Yeah, so that, and then also just like things in my life.
- 4:04SPEAKER_08: Um, I like to write about like the things that I go through, like, you know, feelings, feelings, emotions, emotions, dating, dumb shit.
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: Oh, your tail is dumb shit now, right?
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: We had a long, uh, extensive conversation how there is an entire useless side to some men.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: And like they may like be a useful man.
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: Just please, for God's sakes, don't be sucking up.
- 4:28SPEAKER_08: Know how to use a grill.
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: Know how to use a grill.
- 4:31SPEAKER_02: We were talking to a guest earlier, and I think like real women think there's nothing sexier than a man and Levi's that can fix some shit.
- 4:37SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: Right?
- 4:39SPEAKER_02: I think just cross the board.
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: You know, I just think that's what it is.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: And yeah, so you write so uh like a little Taylor Swift thing, writing about the old friend, old flames?
- 4:48SPEAKER_08: Uh yeah, there's you know, my past mistakes, so that's right, you know, love to write about that.
- 4:54SPEAKER_04: Who would you say like your sound re resembles like who are your influences, like artist-wise?
- 5:00SPEAKER_04: Um you look up to.
- 5:02SPEAKER_08: I really look up to um Hayley Williams from Paraphone.
- 5:06SPEAKER_04: Okay, I know yeah.
- 5:07SPEAKER_04: Her mom teaches at Belmont or taught at Belmont.
- 5:09SPEAKER_08: Oh, yes, I did hear about that.
- 5:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:11SPEAKER_08: And then also Emmy Lee from Evanescence, and also Cassidy Pope.
- 5:14SPEAKER_08: She's like a really nice one.
- 5:16SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I haven't heard that word.
- 5:18SPEAKER_08: I love that.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's great.
- 5:21SPEAKER_08: So, what was it like coming from California to Nashville, Tennessee?
- 5:25SPEAKER_08: Um, it was really different because I mean, like, where I'm from, it's mostly like suburban, Central Valley, really hot.
- 5:31SPEAKER_08: I mean, it's still really hot here, but like we actually get four seasons, which is four seasons here in that it's really nice because there's lots of opportunities here.
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: And you've you found your groove and you found your vibe.
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: And that's so amazing in just a year, because like you're you guys are young, and I can't imagine like just up and going and chasing.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: Alright, I have done it, but I think I was, you know, with age comes wisdom and a lot of fear.
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: Like, you know, I think when you're young, you're like, let's just go, let's just see what happens.
- 5:58SPEAKER_08: I think that's so amazing.
- 6:00SPEAKER_08: What do your parents think?
- 6:01SPEAKER_08: Um, they're pretty supportive of it.
- 6:03SPEAKER_08: Like, well, my mom, she's like the typical Asian immigrant mom that wants me to like be a doctor.
- 6:07SPEAKER_08: And I'm like, come on, mom.
- 6:08SPEAKER_08: Right.
- 6:09SPEAKER_04: What country?
- 6:10SPEAKER_08: She's from Indonesia.
- 6:11SPEAKER_08: So wow.
- 6:12SPEAKER_08: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:12SPEAKER_08: And then my dad's wife.
- 6:14SPEAKER_08: She wants you to be a doctor.
- 6:15SPEAKER_08: I know.
- 6:16SPEAKER_08: I'm like, mom.
- 6:16SPEAKER_08: Why would you be a doctor if you could be a rock star?
- 6:18SPEAKER_08: I know.
- 6:19SPEAKER_08: I'm like, mom, did you not know the grades that I have?
- 6:21SPEAKER_08: I have like an F in each of my classes right now.
- 6:23SPEAKER_04: My mom grew up in Singapore for much of her life.
- 6:26SPEAKER_04: That's so sick.
- 6:28SPEAKER_04: She speaks Malay and Mandarin and the Barter family is multi-talented.
- 6:35SPEAKER_02: I've met everybody's family, so I can tell you they are multi-talented.
- 6:38SPEAKER_08: That's so cool.
- 6:39SPEAKER_04: I love to get over there.
- 6:40SPEAKER_04: Have you ever been over there?
- 6:41SPEAKER_08: To Indonesia?
- 6:42SPEAKER_08: Yes.
- 6:43SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I've only been like family there?
- 6:45SPEAKER_08: Yeah, and my mom's entire side of the family is there.
- 6:47SPEAKER_08: It's actually funny that I mentioned that's because she's literally traveling there like as we speak.
- 6:51SPEAKER_08: Like she's like on the flight to Japan.
- 6:53SPEAKER_08: She travels in holiday.
- 6:54SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 6:54SPEAKER_08: Wow.
- 6:55SPEAKER_08: Is she going for the holiday or just for a little trip or yeah, holidays to see your family?
- 6:59SPEAKER_08: Oh, that's so amazing.
- 7:00SPEAKER_04: All I know is uh what is it one through ten of Malay's Satatuwatiga, Ampatlima Anam, tuju la pan subina supulu.
- 7:08SPEAKER_04: I think that's one through ten.
- 7:09SPEAKER_10: That's the George school, man.
- 7:10SPEAKER_10: Malay.
- 7:11SPEAKER_04: Do they speak Malay in Indonesia?
- 7:12SPEAKER_04: Some some of it?
- 7:13SPEAKER_04: Or is it just Indonesian?
- 7:15SPEAKER_08: I have no idea.
- 7:17SPEAKER_04: That's all I know.
- 7:18SPEAKER_04: She's like, how do we get a whole you can fact check me?
- 7:23SPEAKER_04: I'm right.
- 7:24SPEAKER_02: Right, exactly.
- 7:25SPEAKER_02: You know what we're gonna meet.
- 7:26SPEAKER_02: I would call your mom as soon as we hang up and be like, give me the I need the tea, can't you?
- 7:30SPEAKER_04: They got good surfing though.
- 7:31SPEAKER_04: I know that.
- 7:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah?
- 7:32SPEAKER_04: Yeah, there's good surfing out there.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: I think we talked about earlier um collectively how I'm not like a water girl.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:38SPEAKER_02: You know, really like doing water surfing.
- 7:39SPEAKER_02: I'm not like I love the ocean, but like I'm not the kind that would like more of the lounge in the sand.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 7:44SPEAKER_02: I'm the like cold beer, you know, kind of country music.
- 7:47SPEAKER_02: Out at the bar, out at the right, or in the sand, whatever, but I just I don't typically like I'm not like a huge fan of like getting in water.
- 7:55SPEAKER_08: Honestly, I'm kind of the same because like you would think from me being from California, I'd like beaches and stuff, but I just don't like sand being everywhere.
- 8:02SPEAKER_08: Is it a yick thing?
- 8:03SPEAKER_02: Oh can I give you a yick?
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: Can I give you some advice?
- 8:06SPEAKER_02: I learned this when I became a mom.
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: So baby powder, if you're on sand, just so when my daughter was little, I always carry baby powder in to the beach.
- 8:14SPEAKER_02: Because if you pour it on, the sand just pours right off.
- 8:16SPEAKER_02: Are you serious?
- 8:17SPEAKER_02: I didn't know that.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: You learn something new every day.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: I'm telling you, get a you know, it's like the baby powder's amazing.
- 8:25SPEAKER_02: Anything that smells like a baby is incredible, but yeah, it just literally takes the sand right off.
- 8:29SPEAKER_02: That's so cool.
- 8:29SPEAKER_02: I know, it's such a smart thing.
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: Where did you learn that?
- 8:32SPEAKER_02: Dude, I'm a rock star grandma.
- 8:34SPEAKER_02: I'm a grandma, like I know, a little tidbit to carry on.
- 8:38SPEAKER_02: Be like Deb taught me that.
- 8:39SPEAKER_02: Be like, oh great.
- 8:40SPEAKER_02: Timmy and I got tattooed and I taught, I taught Holden how to use baby powder.
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: I'm killing it on the parent right here.
- 8:46SPEAKER_04: Diddy was not involved.
- 8:48SPEAKER_02: Right, this is a Diddy moment going on.
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: Actually, I had a Vaseline stick out the other day.
- 8:56SPEAKER_02: He's like, girl, stop that.
- 8:59SPEAKER_02: It was true.
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: I know that's a whole note.
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: We're not even gonna go down the Diddy path at all.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: Documentaries out there.
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: I know, I know on Netflix.
- 9:06SPEAKER_08: Are you a Netflix girl?
- 9:08SPEAKER_08: A Netflix girl.
- 9:08SPEAKER_08: A Netflix, yeah.
- 9:09SPEAKER_08: Honestly, like my dad, he so he retired and he is like in he wants to retire in a foreign country, so he's like in South America right now, and he like canceled all his subscriptions, so I don't have Netflix anymore.
- 9:22SPEAKER_08: All I have is Amazon Prime and Hulu, and my Hulu account is from my friend's account.
- 9:28SPEAKER_08: Stop it.
- 9:29SPEAKER_02: Stop it.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: I did when I left.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: I I lived in Philadelphia, Holand and I are from the same city in Pennsylvania, and I had a place in Texas.
- 9:36SPEAKER_02: I'm a I'm a Texan, and um, it was so funny.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: At one point when I went, I would get kicked off because all my friends were on my streaming.
- 9:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I was watching an Eagles game one day and it kept going off.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: I literally changed the password, sent a group text like, you freaking freeloaders, get your like I get it with you guys aren't making money.
- 9:54SPEAKER_02: You know, I mean you're struggling, it's a grind, right?
- 9:56SPEAKER_02: But these are adults, you have to be able to handle your own damn streaming again.
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: That I'm still laughing if they wanted you to be a doctor.
- 10:03SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 10:04SPEAKER_08: Well, I mean, like, not like seriously.
- 10:06SPEAKER_08: Like, she wasn't like actually pushing, but she'd always just like she had her hopes.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: She had her hopes.
- 10:10SPEAKER_08: I thought about the husband picked out as well, or no?
- 10:14SPEAKER_04: Uh that's a lot of med school, uh.
- 10:17SPEAKER_04: That's like 20 some years of school.
- 10:19SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I can do it.
- 10:20SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I I could never do it.
- 10:21SPEAKER_08: I that's too much responsibility.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: You could do it.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: You just chose not to.
- 10:24SPEAKER_02: You'd rather be a badass.
- 10:25SPEAKER_02: I I totally my daughter when she was little, oh my god, if she's Lauren.
- 10:30SPEAKER_02: So we used to ask her what she she was the only child.
- 10:34SPEAKER_02: I was married to a doctor.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: And um, we would say, What do you want to be when you grow up?
- 10:38SPEAKER_02: And she'd go, I want to be a waitress.
- 10:40SPEAKER_02: Because she just we took her out.
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: But you were an only child.
- 10:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:43SPEAKER_02: You're an only child, right?
- 10:44SPEAKER_02: The only children in the world just they get everything.
- 10:47SPEAKER_02: And all she knew is that we'd go to all these places and the waitress was always cool, and she wanted to be a waitress.
- 10:52SPEAKER_02: And then I think I brought it up at one time when she was in like fifth or sixth grade, and I she was like, That was the most embarrassing moment of my life.
- 10:58SPEAKER_02: And then she went, she went to Catholic school, and when she went to high school, every day she's like, Why can't you guys just buy me a Mr.
- 11:05SPEAKER_02: Softy truck?
- 11:06SPEAKER_02: I just want to be a Mr.
- 11:07SPEAKER_02: Softy.
- 11:09SPEAKER_02: Dream big, girl.
- 11:10SPEAKER_02: Dream big.
- 11:10SPEAKER_02: But I mean, who knows when they're a kid what they want to do?
- 11:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:13SPEAKER_02: Did you always know you wanted to be in music?
- 11:16SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I mean, well, I mean, I used to watch a lot of Project Runway, so I wanted to be a fashion designer when I was in like second grade.
- 11:21SPEAKER_08: My kind of girl sitting here.
- 11:23SPEAKER_08: But um, I still love fashion and everything, but um, I think like I always knew I wanted to do music, and I think it wasn't until I was like 12 to like 14 when I was like actually writing a lot of songs that I was like, I think this is something that I like need to pursue in my life.
- 11:38SPEAKER_08: That's great, the only thing I'm good at.
- 11:39SPEAKER_08: The only thing I'm good for.
- 11:40SPEAKER_02: Don't you ever say that?
- 11:42SPEAKER_02: There's many things you're good at.
- 11:44SPEAKER_02: We're just not all the same on the show.
- 11:45SPEAKER_02: No, okay with you.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know, but you should follow your dreams.
- 11:50SPEAKER_02: I encourage people.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: I am I am a life coach and I am a therapist, and um I dare people to dream big.
- 11:57SPEAKER_02: I'm like, do it.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: That's amazing.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I totally and we were talking earlier with other artists too, you know.
- 12:03SPEAKER_02: We wait for the the right door, the right time, the right person.
- 12:07SPEAKER_02: Stop waiting.
- 12:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you're wasting time, and we go to life.
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: Life does not come to us.
- 12:13SPEAKER_02: It might, and if you're lucky, it it does.
- 12:16SPEAKER_02: But in most people, you gotta go out and make your way in this in this crazy universe.
- 12:20SPEAKER_02: So, you know, what do your friends think about you being an artist?
- 12:23SPEAKER_08: Um, they're all really supportive, and it also helps like that.
- 12:26SPEAKER_08: My friends are also equally incredibly talented.
- 12:28SPEAKER_08: Wow, what a great thing to say about your friends.
- 12:31SPEAKER_08: Yeah, they're amazing.
- 12:32SPEAKER_08: That's incredible.
- 12:33SPEAKER_08: I love that.
- 12:33SPEAKER_04: Are they all artists?
- 12:35SPEAKER_08: Yeah, like my friend Addison Malik, she's my country queen.
- 12:38SPEAKER_08: She was here today.
- 12:39SPEAKER_08: She was here, oh yes, and then um my friend Caitlyn Jihay, she's my RB queen.
- 12:44SPEAKER_08: So that's great.
- 12:45SPEAKER_08: You got the blend.
- 12:46SPEAKER_08: You totally, yeah.
- 12:47SPEAKER_02: You guys by yourselves can just tackle all the entire music.
- 12:50SPEAKER_08: All the genres of the music scene.
- 12:52SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 12:53SPEAKER_08: Um, but yeah, they're really great.
- 12:54SPEAKER_08: And honestly, I think like I think one of the they've kind of taught me that like one of the biggest things in coming to Nashville is that like I feel like the best way to like make your way is just to be a good person and be a good hang versus trying to like you know, follow that rule for life, just be a good person.
- 13:11SPEAKER_02: You know, it's really there's so many reasons to not feel good.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: Like, don't ever add to that pile, you know.
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: What do you do for you?
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: Like, if you need to just unplug and be like, I don't I want to be an RSA, I obviously don't want to be a doctor today.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: I don't want to be a waitress.
- 13:25SPEAKER_02: What do you do?
- 13:26SPEAKER_08: Oh well, I'm glad you asked.
- 13:28SPEAKER_08: I have my little regimen.
- 13:30SPEAKER_08: I like to hang out with my cat.
- 13:33SPEAKER_08: What's the cat's name?
- 13:34SPEAKER_08: Larry.
- 13:36SPEAKER_08: He's really fat.
- 13:36SPEAKER_08: Dude, we already love Larry.
- 13:38SPEAKER_08: He's really fat.
- 13:38SPEAKER_02: I love him so much.
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: He's really fat.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: My dog's out all the chucky chucky side.
- 13:42SPEAKER_02: You know what?
- 13:42SPEAKER_02: I don't call her fat, I call her overload.
- 13:43SPEAKER_02: It means well loaned.
- 13:45SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 13:46SPEAKER_02: And then I get insulted because people will say, like, she's fat.
- 13:49SPEAKER_02: I'm like, she's fluffy.
- 13:50SPEAKER_08: Oh my goodness.
- 13:50SPEAKER_08: She's big boned.
- 13:51SPEAKER_08: She's big boned, right?
- 13:53SPEAKER_08: Yeah, well, I hang out with my cat and we watch Bob's burgers, and I probably like eat Chiffle or something, and that's hilariously funny.
- 14:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:00SPEAKER_02: Like, that's your day.
- 14:01SPEAKER_02: That's your decompression day.
- 14:02SPEAKER_02: I feel like I need to give you my Netflix account.
- 14:06SPEAKER_05: I feel it.
- 14:08SPEAKER_02: I feel like I have I'm sorry, honey, but I'm giving her beneficents account.
- 14:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:11SPEAKER_08: Luckily, I have Hulu, and that's where Bob's Burgers is.
- 14:14SPEAKER_08: That's the most important thing.
- 14:15SPEAKER_08: I actually have Bob's Burgers bumper Bob's Burger stickers on my bumper car.
- 14:19SPEAKER_08: That's all adult cartoons are ridiculous.
- 14:22SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 14:23SPEAKER_04: I'm a big Simpsons guy.
- 14:24SPEAKER_04: Oh, totally.
- 14:25SPEAKER_04: Simpsons.
- 14:26SPEAKER_04: Big family guy.
- 14:27SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: I'm Rick and Morty.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: That's all I'm saying.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love Morty.
- 14:31SPEAKER_02: I love me some South Park.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: South Park is my other one.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Some episode.
- 14:36SPEAKER_04: Suburb.
- 14:37SPEAKER_04: They get wild.
- 14:38SPEAKER_02: Now episode.
- 14:39SPEAKER_02: Like, can I watch the Christmas special?
- 14:40SPEAKER_02: Did you guys ever see the Christmas special?
- 14:43SPEAKER_02: It's been playing with Mr.
- 14:44SPEAKER_02: Hanky the Christmas poop.
- 14:45SPEAKER_02: I haven't.
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: For like, please.
- 14:47SPEAKER_02: You need to watch some cheers and you need to watch.
- 14:50SPEAKER_02: Okay, I'm just gonna.
- 14:52SPEAKER_02: I can't believe I'm doing this on camera.
- 14:53SPEAKER_02: Thank God we can edit things out.
- 14:54SPEAKER_02: It's my favorite episode.
- 14:55SPEAKER_02: Like, I watch it every year.
- 14:56SPEAKER_02: And you know Cartman?
- 14:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:58SPEAKER_02: And then Kyle, and he said, does this greatest song.
- 15:01SPEAKER_02: They're like, Cosmo's a bitch, she's a biggest bitch, she's a bitch, she's big, and the whole eyebrow she's the biggest bitch.
- 15:05SPEAKER_02: If there was a bitch, she's a bitch.
- 15:06SPEAKER_02: Well, the boys and girls.
- 15:08SPEAKER_02: D minor.
- 15:09SPEAKER_02: And I still laugh like it's the first time I've ever heard it.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, money should bitch, and like that at the end, they're like, and third shtick super kanga manga beach.
- 15:17SPEAKER_02: Like, I just think it's hilarious.
- 15:18SPEAKER_02: I like how you know it word for word.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: I live in a world that no adults enter.
- 15:24SPEAKER_02: When you do this for a living, you don't have a lot of structure.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: No, they're like South Park has some crazy ads.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Some crazy crazy.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: Like, it's just like, how do you even think about that?
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: They don't care.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: They're all they're from Fresno.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: From Fresno.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: They legitimately like talk shit onto everybody, so it's not an issue.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: So it's like they do not discriminate about anybody.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: Every shit.
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 15:48SPEAKER_04: In every sensitive area.
- 15:53SPEAKER_02: Like just like That'd be wild.
- 15:55SPEAKER_02: I mean it's a good idea.
- 15:55SPEAKER_02: I feel like you'd have to take like shrooms or something before you go into the writing session.
- 15:59SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 15:59SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of shrooms in Friends now.
- 16:01SPEAKER_02: Huh?
- 16:01SPEAKER_02: No, I'm joking.
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: I like Fresno.
- 16:04SPEAKER_02: Some microdosing I bet's going on for sure.
- 16:07SPEAKER_08: There's something.
- 16:08SPEAKER_08: There's something in the writing room.
- 16:09SPEAKER_08: Well, good for you for getting out.
- 16:11SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 16:12SPEAKER_08: Do you love Nashville?
- 16:13SPEAKER_08: I do.
- 16:13SPEAKER_08: I really like it here.
- 16:14SPEAKER_08: I think like the people is just have been like the best part about it.
- 16:17SPEAKER_08: I love to hear that.
- 16:18SPEAKER_08: And also having my cat here.
- 16:20SPEAKER_08: Yeah.

- 16:21SPEAKER_08: Yes.
- 16:21SPEAKER_10: He's a big he's a huge accessory.
- 16:23SPEAKER_08: He really is.
- 16:23SPEAKER_08: Because when I first moved here, I was living in this house and drama happened, and so I had to move out.
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: Give us a little tee on the drama.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: Come on, I want to know what drama is.
- 16:33SPEAKER_08: Went behind my back to break the lease.
- 16:35SPEAKER_08: Um the roommates?
- 16:36SPEAKER_08: Mm-hmm.
- 16:37SPEAKER_08: They were like bitches.
- 16:38SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 16:39SPEAKER_08: I I wrote a song about them called Dumb and Dumber.
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: I gotta hear that.
- 16:44SPEAKER_04: That is really funny.
- 16:45SPEAKER_08: Isn't that anything like Miles Mom's a bitch?
- 16:47SPEAKER_08: I don't know.
- 16:48SPEAKER_08: It's just it was just therapeutic.
- 16:49SPEAKER_08: But um, you know, wish them well, whatever they're doing.
- 16:53SPEAKER_08: But um I had but when I did move into my own apartment, I was able to bring my cat from back home.
- 16:58SPEAKER_08: So he's just with me.

- 17:01SPEAKER_02: Did you drive him out?
- 17:02SPEAKER_08: Yeah, yeah, we flew him out.
- 17:03SPEAKER_08: Oh yeah.

- 17:17SPEAKER_08: Oh real man.
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, that's so funny.
- 17:19SPEAKER_02: I mean, I have a dog, and this dog is like she's the best.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: What's your dog's name?
- 17:24SPEAKER_02: Lola.
- 17:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she was uh she was named after the Barry Maniler song.

- 17:58SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 17:58SPEAKER_02: How do you get insurance?
- 18:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 18:00SPEAKER_02: How old are you, if you don't mind me asking?
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: I'm 21.

- 18:22SPEAKER_02: When she came in and Timmy's like, she goes, What's your last name?
- 18:26SPEAKER_02: He goes, Mickey.
- 18:27SPEAKER_02: She goes, Oh, my friend's obsessed with you.
- 18:30SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 18:30SPEAKER_02: I was like cracking up.
- 18:32SPEAKER_04: She's making waves.
- 18:33SPEAKER_02: Her name is Kaylee.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: Kaylee, shout out to you.
- 18:36SPEAKER_02: You've got incredible voice in man.
- 18:38SPEAKER_02: This kid is solid gold.
- 18:39SPEAKER_02: What?
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you want to take a hat off to her?
- 18:43SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 18:44SPEAKER_02: Do you want to give her a hat?
- 18:45SPEAKER_02: Actually, yeah.
- 18:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she'll have it.
- 18:48SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 18:49SPEAKER_02: Can you sign it, sir?

- 18:56SPEAKER_02: You know what?
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: That's gonna be part of a Christmas gift.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 18:58SPEAKER_02: You know the vibe of the game.
- 18:59SPEAKER_04: You don't air this until Christmas.
- 19:02SPEAKER_02: You tell me when you want to drop.
- 19:03SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I think that's, I mean, I love that when you when I come here and I hear people, you know, Timmy and I were talking probably last spring or something that we're we were walking somewhere and people are like, Hi Timmy.
- 19:14SPEAKER_02: Hi, Timmy.
- 19:15SPEAKER_02: And I was like, she's getting noticed.
- 19:18SPEAKER_02: That's really cool, you know.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: And when you do this, you got noticed today with Ivy.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: I did.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: I had my first fan on today, right?
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: I'm like, wait a minute, this is about me all of a sudden.
- 19:29SPEAKER_02: But it was really, it's really crazy.
- 19:31SPEAKER_02: And all my friends, like, this is the power that you guys have on people.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: You know, Holden performs at the Jersey Shore.
- 19:38SPEAKER_02: You know, we go down there a lot, and his family's awesome.
- 19:40SPEAKER_02: It's always a great time.
- 19:41SPEAKER_02: I've taken friends through the you know the years.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: And all as I was leaving, all my friends are like, tell Holden I said hi.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: Can you tell Holden I said hi?
- 19:48SPEAKER_02: I'm like, you just get a recording off right now, like, you know, but I think that's so amazing that your voice and your craft and your music moves people.
- 19:59SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 19:59SPEAKER_02: Has anybody ever said, like, wow, this is like I got through this moment because of your lyrics.
- 20:05SPEAKER_08: Actually, like one of my fans, Carissa online the other day.
- 20:08SPEAKER_08: Um, she like I like posted a song and she said that like I like saved her life at one point.
- 20:13SPEAKER_08: Like, that is like crazy.
- 20:14SPEAKER_08: I don't know.
- 20:16SPEAKER_08: Like, how is that?
- 20:16SPEAKER_08: I don't think I would like I didn't think I would be at that point like now where I could like have that kind of impact, but that's like my dream because it's so beautiful.
- 20:25SPEAKER_04: You never know who you impact with your music.
- 20:27SPEAKER_04: Like, we always have the like we were talking earlier, like we have this facade of like what does success mean?
- 20:32SPEAKER_04: Like, we want to get there, but but you're already doing it.
- 20:36SPEAKER_04: You're already like you're already you and someone else's eye, you're their superhero, or you're their your words have meaning, and if you're changing lives, you're already winning.
- 20:45SPEAKER_04: Like, absolutely.
- 20:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, remember that on the times that seem really difficult, you know.
- 20:51SPEAKER_02: In any job, in any industry, like there's days you're like, I'm I'm doney in rings.
- 20:55SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, not just done dunyan rings, and it's you know, but remember that that you your power, your passion.
- 21:01SPEAKER_02: What you did has changed somebody.
- 21:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and that's such an incredible.
- 21:05SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm so in awe of artists when I hear that.
- 21:07SPEAKER_02: I'm like, that's some power.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: I think that's incredible.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: Like, always, you know, in your bad days, tuck tuck that in your head and remember, you know.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: Did anyone ever I had an artist on my own?
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: It was like Monday, and uh somebody tattooed the lyrics to her song down a fan.
- 21:26SPEAKER_08: Oh my gosh, that's so beautiful.
- 21:27SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 21:28SPEAKER_02: I was like, what?
- 21:30SPEAKER_02: That is one has to be expansive, two, it has to be painful, and three, like, you really that uh a tattoo is a marriage, it's a candidate.
- 21:38SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, you know, so I was like, that is what music does.
- 21:41SPEAKER_04: Tattoo's been the subject to that.
- 21:43SPEAKER_04: I'm like, wait a minute.
- 21:44SPEAKER_02: That's because Timmy and I went and got tatted together.
- 21:47SPEAKER_02: Did you actually?
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, what did you guys get?
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: Tattoos.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: She I got this lightning bolt.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: I have a song called Lightning Speed, so I got that.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: And then she got a happy hour with that.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: Oh bang.
- 21:59SPEAKER_02: I've never.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: We were all we were all hanging out.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: We were all hanging out after CRS.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: I'll get the hotel room.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we were hanging out in the hotel room.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: We're like, screw, let's just go get some tattoos right now.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: If we went to that like power lunch, we had like what do you the CRS here is just a crazy, it's the country radio seminar.
- 22:17SPEAKER_02: And they locked the artists and the press in the Omni, and you're just I did 67 interviews in those three days and the leader.
- 22:23SPEAKER_02: You crushed it to me.
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: I totally crushed it.
- 22:25SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much.
- 22:26SPEAKER_02: And everyone's like, when can I come back?
- 22:27SPEAKER_02: We got a flood from publicists and managers being like, when can they come back on your show?
- 22:32SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, I'm icing my brain and my tongue, it's gonna take six months.
- 22:35SPEAKER_02: But um, yeah, it was really cool.
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: So we went out to a lunch and we just finally were like, oh sitting there at the table having lunch, and then we all go back to my room, and it was so funny.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: We're like, let's go get tat.
- 22:46SPEAKER_02: That's what it was so funny.
- 22:47SPEAKER_02: And Timmy's father, who was his manager and who is one of the coolest gentlemen I've ever met in my life.
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: I love Jason to death.
- 22:54SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, Do I call Jason?
- 22:56SPEAKER_02: Like, how as a grown woman do I say I'm taking?
- 22:58SPEAKER_02: You're kidding.
- 23:00SPEAKER_02: You were like, cool, it's cool.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: It was like so cool at lunch.
- 23:04SPEAKER_02: I had like taken a picture of like looking at my lunch date.
- 23:06SPEAKER_02: He's like, Yeah, you guys go fun.
- 23:07SPEAKER_02: Like, he wasn't even faced.
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: I think I have my daughter, I'd be like, creeper alert, get away.
- 23:11SPEAKER_08: You know, I love doing spontaneous shit the other day a few weeks ago.
- 23:15SPEAKER_08: I just like drove to Alabama for Really?
- 23:17SPEAKER_08: Just randomly.
- 23:18SPEAKER_08: I was like, I've never been there.
- 23:19SPEAKER_08: I'm just gonna go to the border.
- 23:21SPEAKER_08: So I just kept driving.
- 23:22SPEAKER_08: Because I was like, it's pretty close.
- 23:23SPEAKER_08: So I just started driving.
- 23:25SPEAKER_08: No, I just went to the border, and then I immediately turned around and then I saw the freaking northern lights.
- 23:30SPEAKER_08: The sky was red.
- 23:31SPEAKER_08: I was like, that was meant to be.
- 23:33SPEAKER_08: That's so good.
- 23:34SPEAKER_08: It was so sick.
- 23:35SPEAKER_08: And then I was like listening to like my um unreleased demos, and I was like, this is the this is.
- 23:39SPEAKER_08: This is it, I've made it.
- 23:41SPEAKER_08: I've totally made it.
- 23:42SPEAKER_02: See, and you really are, and like Holden has really emphasized today how you know we wish to have more money, or we wish to be more famous, or we wish to play somewhere, but you're already living it, and you have to live through it.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, I mean I think the most important thing that like like at least keeps me going is like I'm where my younger self wanted to be.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: You know, yeah.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: And it's like yeah, like I feel like we all have those moments where it's like we get so caught up in like everything we see what other people are accomplishing.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: We're like, oh, why am I not there?
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: And then you just gotta take a second and be like, okay, like for like I'm doing pretty good.
- 24:16SPEAKER_00: Like compared to where I was, my friends like we're doing good.
- 24:20SPEAKER_05: Yeah, friends obsessed with you, yeah.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: No, but like not not even talking about me, just like in general, it's like we're all just moving forward and we're all just moving forward as long as you're doing that yourself on the back.
- 24:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and you know, your time is your time, and just that, you know, like everybody's timing is different.
- 24:37SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I had a friend tell me that, like, you know, he said, um, you like think of any artist that's like your favorite artist, you can't do what they do, but they can't do what they do.
- 24:46SPEAKER_08: Can't do what you do either.
- 24:47SPEAKER_08: That's right.
- 24:48SPEAKER_08: So amen, you know.
- 24:49SPEAKER_02: That's right.
- 24:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:50SPEAKER_02: And you don't, you don't if you leave this this building with a southern accent, it will make my day.
- 24:57SPEAKER_02: I don't really I bump between Philly and Texas, so mine's kind of gone.
- 25:00SPEAKER_02: Although when I'm in Philadelphia, people are like, where are you from?
- 25:02SPEAKER_04: I'm like, I get that all the time.
- 25:05SPEAKER_04: Good question, actually.
- 25:06SPEAKER_04: You're like, why do you have a southern accent?
- 25:07SPEAKER_04: I'm like, I don't try to do it, it just happens.
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: It just comes.
- 25:11SPEAKER_02: I think it's southern.
- 25:12SPEAKER_04: And then when I'm here, I say wooder and yo, what up, dude.
- 25:15SPEAKER_02: Like right, exact.
- 25:16SPEAKER_09: Go bird.
- 25:17SPEAKER_09: Yeah, go bird.
- 25:19SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's something the vernacular, like it's so interesting.
- 25:22SPEAKER_04: Like, wherever you travel, like it's uh it's just so cool to me.
- 25:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and when I go to Texas, people are like, oh god, they Philadelphia you right up in the city of Rotherly Love.
- 25:32SPEAKER_02: But yeah, it's crazy that it is.
- 25:33SPEAKER_02: So what it give me, like if we can we had a crystal ball five years later, what's that look like?
- 25:39SPEAKER_08: Um, well, by then I'll have like released a couple EPs.
- 25:44SPEAKER_08: Hopefully I'll be doing more shows.
- 25:47SPEAKER_08: Um and just I probably should have a better answer.
- 25:53SPEAKER_08: But uh that is the young thing.
- 25:54SPEAKER_08: But because I feel like no one knows what they're doing, so like I can't like plan what I'm gonna do.
- 25:58SPEAKER_02: Don't think that that's a young thing because no one don't like I don't know what I'm doing.
- 26:02SPEAKER_02: I don't know how I change careers older, and like you know, you don't know what you're doing.
- 26:06SPEAKER_02: I just knew that what the goal and the feeling and the life I wanted to have, and then I just built the world around that, you know.
- 26:14SPEAKER_02: So I I had always felt driven to help people always and I went into it because I was you know, I had a very bad childhood, so yeah, and I uh I'm a big goal setter, and like the what freaked me out was like I try to sit down and be like, okay, like I'm 27 right now.
- 26:32SPEAKER_04: I'm like, okay, what do I want to achieve by the time I'm 30?
- 26:35SPEAKER_04: What do I want to achieve 35, 40, 45?
- 26:38SPEAKER_04: And I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 26:39SPEAKER_04: I know.
- 26:40SPEAKER_04: I do not want to think about 35 or 30.
- 26:43SPEAKER_04: I'm like, what?
- 26:44SPEAKER_04: Like that's weird.
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: But in all that time you're playing out leading your life.
- 26:48SPEAKER_04: Well, exactly.
- 26:49SPEAKER_04: I'm like, you know what, I'm not even gonna plan that crap.
- 26:51SPEAKER_04: I'm just gonna see.
- 26:52SPEAKER_02: I've I've always been the kind of fly by the seat of my pants.
- 26:56SPEAKER_08: You know, I feel like that's kind of what you have to do as an artist.
- 26:58SPEAKER_08: Like, I mean, I think when I was younger, I used to always like plan things.
- 27:01SPEAKER_08: I I like loved like making like mood boards and like planning things, being like, oh, I'm gonna release this album.
- 27:07SPEAKER_08: I know, being moon boards, that's so it'll be so fun.
- 27:10SPEAKER_02: Next time you come on, we're doing arts and crafts, we're making moon boards.
- 27:13SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love it.
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: We totally are.
- 27:15SPEAKER_02: We will totally do a moon board.
- 27:17SPEAKER_02: Timmy, I can't wait to see Holden and Timmy's moon board.
- 27:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, sure.
- 27:21SPEAKER_02: But you know, it is really the beautiful thing about the Eagle.
- 27:24SPEAKER_02: I know right, exactly.
- 27:26SPEAKER_02: Holding a big surf side and a Super Bowl ring.
- 27:29SPEAKER_02: Um, Holden and I are huge Philadelphia Eagle football fans.
- 27:32SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you know anything about football, but they got crushed last night.
- 27:35SPEAKER_02: We had a rough game.
- 27:36SPEAKER_02: We had a rough game and we were at a recovering.
- 27:38SPEAKER_02: We were at an industry party.
- 27:40SPEAKER_02: We are.
- 27:40SPEAKER_02: I didn't even know until um Aaliyah told me this morning because we take sports very seriously.
- 27:46SPEAKER_08: Okay.
- 27:46SPEAKER_08: Have you ever been to Philly?
- 27:48SPEAKER_08: Not unless it was like a plane.
- 27:50SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be one of those places you drive to the border and go back.
- 27:53SPEAKER_02: No, yeah, maybe.
- 27:56SPEAKER_02: Next time you gotta go over the border and get yourself a good cheesesteak.
- 27:59SPEAKER_02: Have you ever had like a delicious cheesesteak?
- 28:01SPEAKER_02: No, I haven't.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: A proper cheesesteak.
- 28:03SPEAKER_02: A proper cheese cheesesteak.
- 28:04SPEAKER_04: Here in Nashville, there's two places that I can recommend you could get something comparable.
- 28:10SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 28:10SPEAKER_04: But um, what are they?
- 28:12SPEAKER_02: I don't know them.
- 28:12SPEAKER_04: Oh, really?
- 28:13SPEAKER_04: Uh it's a Philly thing, ITZ Philly thing.
- 28:16SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 28:18SPEAKER_04: That's Zaire.
- 28:19SPEAKER_04: He's my man.
- 28:20SPEAKER_02: And he That's Zaire is my man.
- 28:22SPEAKER_02: Yesterday he wouldn't have a drink with me.
- 28:23SPEAKER_02: He's like, I'm on this cleanse, I'm uh I'm getting healthy.
- 28:26SPEAKER_02: Today I'm like, you know, lemon love.
- 28:28SPEAKER_02: He's like, yeah, totally.
- 28:28SPEAKER_02: Lemon love.
- 28:30SPEAKER_04: Lemon love.
- 28:30SPEAKER_04: And the cheesesteaks are good.
- 28:32SPEAKER_04: They're heavier with him.
- 28:33SPEAKER_04: They're in that's like Bellevue.
- 28:35SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 28:35SPEAKER_04: And then the other place, um uh Kane Brown's merch manager, just uh he also um owns this place called um Brotherly Love Cheesesteaks.
- 28:46SPEAKER_04: Brotherly Love and it's in the nations, and those are really good.
- 28:49SPEAKER_04: He imports the rolls, Amarosa rolls from Philly.
- 28:51SPEAKER_09: We're kind of known for our bread.
- 28:53SPEAKER_09: They're good.
- 28:53SPEAKER_04: He's got the waves.
- 28:55SPEAKER_04: Does he?
- 28:57SPEAKER_04: Fried o', he does it right, yeah.
- 28:58SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 28:59SPEAKER_04: So, but you gotta go there.
- 29:01SPEAKER_02: If you're ever making your way there, we'd be honored to take you out for a cheesesteak.
- 29:04SPEAKER_02: I would love nothing.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: We would.
- 29:06SPEAKER_02: And then you can tell your friend that you had a cheesesteak with Timmy McCaber.
- 29:10SPEAKER_04: I got it.
- 29:12SPEAKER_04: Angelo's Del Sango.
- 29:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah, amazing.
- 29:15SPEAKER_02: I think, you know, when you're from Philly, you don't eat them as much as you know one would think.
- 29:20SPEAKER_02: You can't tell by looking around, but you wouldn't, do you?
- 29:24SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I gotta hit the gym.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, uh, Turkey Shorty from Wawa.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: There's a chain of uh the gobbler.
- 29:29SPEAKER_02: The gobbler.
- 29:30SPEAKER_02: Oh, dude, the gobbler changes my life.
- 29:31SPEAKER_04: Wawa's coming here next year.
- 29:33SPEAKER_04: I'm so excited.
- 29:34SPEAKER_04: It's a change.
- 29:35SPEAKER_02: It's a convenience store, but it's corporately owned.
- 29:37SPEAKER_04: It's like 7-Eleven, but but superior.
- 29:40SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 29:41SPEAKER_02: Like a supermarket in it and stuff.
- 29:42SPEAKER_02: It's like they they're known for making really good sandwiches and great coffee.
- 29:48SPEAKER_02: It's a Wawa thing, it's so unique.
- 29:50SPEAKER_04: It's so unique.
- 29:51SPEAKER_04: It is good friends of mine.
- 29:52SPEAKER_04: Actually, they just sent me a Christmas gift yesterday.
- 29:55SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna open it tonight.
- 29:56SPEAKER_04: It's like a giant box.
- 29:58SPEAKER_04: It says like 12 days.
- 30:00SPEAKER_04: I don't know what's in it, but it's like 12 days of Wawa Christmas.
- 30:04SPEAKER_04: And I think you like it's like a Wawa advent calendar.
- 30:10SPEAKER_04: So I think I don't know.
- 30:11SPEAKER_04: I gotta open it still.
- 30:12SPEAKER_04: But I'll be right back.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: Next time we shoot together, I gotta bring some tasty cakes and put them here so that people get their I was gonna bring pork roll this morning.
- 30:18SPEAKER_04: I know, that was so cool of you.
- 30:20SPEAKER_04: I forgot.
- 30:20SPEAKER_02: He was gonna get us some sandwiches this morning.
- 30:24SPEAKER_04: And they the guy, uh, it's H S Bagels in Midtown, and you gotta go, it's so good.
- 30:29SPEAKER_04: Uh they have DoorDash too, but um, but like he gets the rolls from New York from New York.
- 30:36SPEAKER_04: And so, but there's something about the the dough and the the bread that's different.
- 30:41SPEAKER_10: And the water that's different.
- 30:42SPEAKER_04: He treats the water here in Nashville to match what it's like.
- 30:46SPEAKER_04: I don't know what poison to put in it, but it's like a little bit of philogenists.
- 30:52SPEAKER_09: Maybe it's a mom, like he could be the doctor.
- 30:54SPEAKER_09: Yeah, but yeah, shout out to them.
- 30:56SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you can treat it.
- 30:57SPEAKER_04: You can start to get some taste of Northeast here.
- 31:00SPEAKER_04: Totally.
- 31:01SPEAKER_04: It's trying, it's it's coming along.
- 31:02SPEAKER_02: Philadelphia's very rich in history and culture, so there's We're getting Cali too.
- 31:07SPEAKER_04: We're getting in and out.
- 31:08SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm so excited for the island.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: In and out's gonna be right by my house.
- 31:13SPEAKER_09: Franklin's dude frequent flyer.
- 31:15SPEAKER_09: I love it.
- 31:16SPEAKER_04: Exit 63?
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: What's that?
- 31:18SPEAKER_04: Like exit 63 there.
- 31:20SPEAKER_04: Like is that worth it?
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I believe so.
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: Isn't it?
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, great now.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: Castle's friend is driving to Timmy's.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: Castle's friend.
- 31:28SPEAKER_02: Please just jump hop on Timmy's door.
- 31:30SPEAKER_02: If you're gonna come up on the rain camera, it's gonna get bad.
- 31:33SPEAKER_04: That's gonna, I'm gonna be there a lot.
- 31:35SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 31:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, dude, I love me some mining out burger.
- 31:37SPEAKER_02: I totally came to Texas like probably Timmy.
- 31:40SPEAKER_04: Animal style.
- 31:40SPEAKER_04: That's right.
- 31:42SPEAKER_02: Animal style, right?
- 31:43SPEAKER_02: That's the sauce in the onions.
- 31:45SPEAKER_04: Onions, so yeah.
- 31:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's amazing.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, my daughter went to school in Arizona, so it was like a daily.
- 31:50SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I just went to Arizona to visit my friend for Thanksgiving.
- 31:53SPEAKER_08: Where?
- 31:53SPEAKER_08: What part of Arizona?
- 31:55SPEAKER_08: Uh, what's it called?
- 31:56SPEAKER_08: Mesa, Mesa?
- 31:57SPEAKER_08: Yeah, Mesa.
- 31:59SPEAKER_08: Um, but yeah, we were there and it was really cool.
- 32:01SPEAKER_08: And we went to the Següero Desert Forest, and I saw all the cacti.
- 32:06SPEAKER_08: It was the coolest thing ever because it's like it just feels like otherworlds.
- 32:09SPEAKER_08: Like an alien.
- 32:10SPEAKER_04: It's really rigid areas.
- 32:12SPEAKER_02: There's something magical about Arizona.
- 32:14SPEAKER_04: I love Sedona.
- 32:15SPEAKER_02: I love Sedona too.
- 32:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's such a great place.
- 32:17SPEAKER_08: Put that on your mood board.
- 32:19SPEAKER_08: Oh, yeah.
- 32:19SPEAKER_08: I actually took a lot of cute pictures, so that's amazing.
- 32:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's great.
- 32:23SPEAKER_02: So, Crystal Ball, five years, I can tell you where you're gonna be.
- 32:26SPEAKER_02: You're gonna be a huge hit.
- 32:28SPEAKER_02: You're performing everywhere.
- 32:30SPEAKER_02: People are gonna love you.
- 32:31SPEAKER_02: And your friend is not gonna stalk Timmy.
- 32:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we think it's cool.
- 32:40SPEAKER_02: I gave him a hug.
- 32:40SPEAKER_02: I'm like, because that's how proud I am with him, you know.
- 32:43SPEAKER_02: Timmy moved from California, his whole family came, and um he came in, and I was his first interview.
- 32:50SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 32:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, very, very first interview I ever did was with the fresh off the plane.
- 32:55SPEAKER_10: Legendary, right?
- 32:56SPEAKER_10: Where from California are you from?
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: Uh Southern California.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: Like Orange County area.
- 33:00SPEAKER_10: So he looks it though, right?
- 33:02SPEAKER_10: Looks it.
- 33:03SPEAKER_10: He looks a little California, doesn't he?
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I got the I got the beach boy here.
- 33:07SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 33:09SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 33:09SPEAKER_08: Your friend has good taste.
- 33:11SPEAKER_08: Timmy's a great guy.
- 33:12SPEAKER_08: Imagine I'm like, the friend doesn't exist.
- 33:14SPEAKER_08: It's me.
- 33:16SPEAKER_08: That is my friend.
- 33:17SPEAKER_08: Is my friend imaginary?
- 33:19SPEAKER_09: Because we're not, there's no mushrooms on this.
- 33:21SPEAKER_09: Oh my goodness.
- 33:23SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 33:24SPEAKER_04: That is like your dream collaboration.
- 33:27SPEAKER_04: Like if you could ever tour with somebody, who would it be?
- 33:32SPEAKER_08: Marina, formerly Marina the Diamonds.
- 33:34SPEAKER_08: I love her.
- 33:35SPEAKER_08: Really?
- 33:36SPEAKER_08: She's one of my favorite artists.
- 33:37SPEAKER_08: What city would you want to play in?
- 33:39SPEAKER_08: Um, I don't know.
- 33:41SPEAKER_08: Do not say frizz.
- 33:42SPEAKER_08: Oh, um, I would love to go perform in London.
- 33:48SPEAKER_08: I really want to go to London.
- 33:49SPEAKER_04: My family just got back from London.
- 33:50SPEAKER_04: I didn't go, unfortunately.
- 33:52SPEAKER_04: But they all left for Thanksgiving, and I was like, what the fuck?
- 33:55SPEAKER_02: Where did you go for Thanksgiving?
- 33:56SPEAKER_04: I was with my mom in Philly.
- 33:58SPEAKER_04: It was just me and my aunt.
- 34:00SPEAKER_04: My dad, yeah.
- 34:01SPEAKER_04: My dad and stepmom went to South Carolina.
- 34:04SPEAKER_04: My grandma and my aunt and uncle went to London.
- 34:07SPEAKER_04: I was stuck with my mom.
- 34:08SPEAKER_04: It was good.
- 34:09SPEAKER_04: It was funny.
- 34:10SPEAKER_09: The gobbler.
- 34:11SPEAKER_04: Oh, I did.
- 34:12SPEAKER_04: I got well, we had a show with the band like a couple days before Thanksgiving.
- 34:16SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you played the hard rock, right?
- 34:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 34:18SPEAKER_04: And uh they all got gobblers as I guess.
- 34:20SPEAKER_04: Dude, there's nothing better.
- 34:21SPEAKER_04: One of my friends.
- 34:22SPEAKER_04: I hooked them up with Wild War.
- 34:23SPEAKER_02: So they make this sandwich and it's like on a roll, but it's turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce.
- 34:29SPEAKER_02: That's like what's making me real hungry.
- 34:30SPEAKER_02: Joffy, right?
- 34:31SPEAKER_02: And one of my friends, we've been friends, Gaia, forever.
- 34:35SPEAKER_02: It's one of those like lifetime friendships, you know, we kind of grew up together.
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, actually, my ex-h my ex-husband and her current husband went to medical school together.
- 34:44SPEAKER_02: And my ex-husband was the the he's the doctor.
- 34:48SPEAKER_02: Um, thank God.
- 34:50SPEAKER_02: And um, so we became really good friends because you know, we kind of grew up with these knuckleheads, but um she was cooking, she doesn't know how to cook, so she would call, she calls me, she's like, the water's boiling.
- 35:00SPEAKER_02: I'm like, just pour a glass of wine, screw this.
- 35:01SPEAKER_02: She's like, I'm just gonna go and I'm just gonna get like 30 gobblers and cut them up and leave them on the table.
- 35:06SPEAKER_02: I'm like, Yeah, I think that's fantastic.
- 35:08SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, that's great.
- 35:09SPEAKER_02: And you, if you've never had a roll with Hellman's mayonnaise and turkey and stuffing and cranberry sauce, you it will change your life.
- 35:19SPEAKER_02: That sounds fire.
- 35:20SPEAKER_02: Grady, it's just so good.
- 35:23SPEAKER_04: You're gonna be hitting the gym too after you're gonna get it.
- 35:25SPEAKER_04: You are gonna be hitting the gym.
- 35:27SPEAKER_02: Don't get on the scale for after 30 days because it's probably a sodium alert on that sucker ticket.
- 35:32SPEAKER_02: It is really when you come to Philly, we'll take you out for one.
- 35:35SPEAKER_02: We'll take you to Wawa, we'll get you a cheesesteak, we'll let you ring the Liberty Bell.
- 35:38SPEAKER_02: I also I don't know if that's the one.
- 35:40SPEAKER_02: I also always wanted to go to Philadelphia because I love the show.
- 35:43SPEAKER_02: It's always sunny.
- 35:44SPEAKER_02: It's always sunny.
- 35:45SPEAKER_02: My daughter was obsessed with that.
- 35:47SPEAKER_08: The show is the funniest.
- 35:48SPEAKER_02: She had the Danny DeVito cut out in her dorm.
- 35:51SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, that's hilarious.
- 35:52SPEAKER_02: Always sunny in Philadelphia is hilariously funny.
- 35:55SPEAKER_02: It's one of the things.
- 35:55SPEAKER_02: Have you ever watched any of it?
- 35:56SPEAKER_02: It's the longest one.
- 35:57SPEAKER_04: I actually haven't, which is terrible to see.
- 35:59SPEAKER_02: Oh, can I tell you?
- 36:00SPEAKER_02: Did you ever see the movie?
- 36:01SPEAKER_02: My whole family has.
- 36:02SPEAKER_02: They're drinking, they're on a plane, like going cross country, and for every beer they drink, they're wearing white t-shirts and they take a sharpie.
- 36:08SPEAKER_08: They're like, T-shirts have like shit.
- 36:12SPEAKER_08: It's so funny.
- 36:13SPEAKER_08: Have you seen the episode where they're like trying to drive to the Grand Canyon?
- 36:17SPEAKER_08: No, I didn't see that one.
- 36:18SPEAKER_08: It's so funny.
- 36:19SPEAKER_08: They like try like sm like cooking hot dogs in the back with a wicker chair and like pass off from the smoke.
- 36:26SPEAKER_08: Oh my gosh.
- 36:27SPEAKER_02: In this like bunch of G, you know, nobody there's going to med school.
- 36:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 36:31SPEAKER_02: No, yeah.
- 36:32SPEAKER_02: And they might be going to present, but they're not going to medical school.
- 36:34SPEAKER_02: No, it's really funny.
- 36:35SPEAKER_02: You would never even want to go to medical school.
- 36:37SPEAKER_02: You're like magnetic and you've got this great personality.
- 36:39SPEAKER_02: Like, we don't want to dim you in a classroom, girl.
- 36:42SPEAKER_08: Well, I mean, I respect people that are like that do that because going into the health field is like incredibly noble and challenging.
- 36:50SPEAKER_08: Very challenging.
- 36:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't take insurance, so I'm not really I don't consider myself in the thick of it because I'm I can't well this is God's honest truth, and for all my friends, I don't like to be told what to do.
- 37:03SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 37:03SPEAKER_02: Like if somebody told me you have to work and get somebody better for 35 bucks, I'd be like, go scratch, I'm getting a gobbler.
- 37:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 37:10SPEAKER_02: You know, it is so true.
- 37:11SPEAKER_02: But it is an amazing, um it's such an amazing feeling.
- 37:15SPEAKER_02: And I love that.
- 37:16SPEAKER_02: We started this show um because I believe people should dream big.
- 37:21SPEAKER_02: And I want to celebrate people that have a guitar and a dream and a voice, and and and Larry, back on, Larry.
- 37:28SPEAKER_02: And you know, I just do.
- 37:30SPEAKER_02: I think it's such a wonderful feeling.
- 37:31SPEAKER_02: But when you're in a position of music and you're changing lives, and I'm in a healing space, you uh really show people the power that you are limitless.
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, you can do anything.
- 37:46SPEAKER_02: I always tell, I ask my clients, I'm like, I believe, and I truly do believe that everybody has a superpower.
- 37:52SPEAKER_02: Every one of us was given a gift, it's a superpower.
- 37:55SPEAKER_02: What do you think yours is?
- 38:00SPEAKER_08: I mean, I think that it could probably just be that's a hard one because I'm trying to think, am I gonna say something music related?
- 38:09SPEAKER_10: Timmy, what's your superpower related?
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: I would just say my voice.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: And I think God gave me away with words, and I would be a fool to not use it in the best way I can help.
- 38:21SPEAKER_02: Like Holmes said earlier, you owe it to us.
- 38:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, exactly.
- 38:25SPEAKER_04: Oh man, I got a lot.
- 38:27SPEAKER_04: Right, let's go.
- 38:30SPEAKER_04: I'd say, yeah, like to I'd say my voice and like my gift to be able to like like express music to people in a way that can heal them.
- 38:42SPEAKER_04: Like I think I I my music has like a healing element.
- 38:46SPEAKER_04: It totally does, absolutely.
- 38:47SPEAKER_04: Thanks.
- 38:48SPEAKER_04: Like, even if it's just a fun song about football, like there's something like magical about it that you know that that people connect with on a deep level.
- 38:56SPEAKER_04: So I think it's my ability to connect with people.
- 38:59SPEAKER_04: That's that's what I'm saying.
- 39:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it is it is your superpower, you know.
- 39:01SPEAKER_02: It's funny, and when you when you start to grow into yourself, other people can see.
- 39:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and in these two artists, they are the most incredibly loyal human beings.
- 39:13SPEAKER_02: And loyalty is not something that money can buy, and it's not something that a lot of people have.
- 39:18SPEAKER_02: So, like, I mean, I was Timmy's first podcast, and like he's going on tour, and I'm like, what?
- 39:24SPEAKER_02: Like, even if I come to Nashville, you're not gonna be here.
- 39:27SPEAKER_02: Like, what's we're not gonna eat French fries together and go get tatted?
- 39:30SPEAKER_02: But they're so loyal, you know, and and they're both big deals that can do anything, and they still come back.
- 39:36SPEAKER_02: So I think that's amazing.
- 39:37SPEAKER_02: Oh, totally.
- 39:38SPEAKER_04: I think you're a big deal.
- 39:39SPEAKER_02: I mean yeah, like a small fish in a very large pond.
- 39:43SPEAKER_02: But yeah, so but I mean, I try to stop and you know, in a crazy world, and we're all busy.
- 39:50SPEAKER_02: When people say they're busy, I'm like, no, not me.
- 39:52SPEAKER_02: I'm just sitting around doing nothing.
- 39:53SPEAKER_02: Um, you know, we're all I try doing nothing.
- 39:56SPEAKER_02: We're busy doing nothing.
- 39:57SPEAKER_02: I want to be busy doing nothing.
- 39:58SPEAKER_02: That's my cut a song on that right now.
- 40:01SPEAKER_02: Um, I try, I program myself to try, and before we go into your politics, your you know, your the color, your whatever, I try to automatically see the person first and find the good in that.
- 40:15SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 40:16SPEAKER_02: Because I think a lot of us have just lost the human connection.
- 40:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, and I I really think, and I love this about this town that you y'all help each other along.
- 40:26SPEAKER_02: Like I think that's so beautiful.
- 40:28SPEAKER_02: You know, even though you, you know, you don't want them to be above you, and yes, you do, there's room for everybody at the top.
- 40:35SPEAKER_02: There's room for the top.
- 40:35SPEAKER_02: So think with the abundance mindset.
- 40:37SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 40:38SPEAKER_02: A scarcity mindset that's so amazing.
- 40:41SPEAKER_02: It is real, and I'm happy you learned that young.
- 40:43SPEAKER_02: Yes, right.
- 40:45SPEAKER_02: And this is not a competition.
- 40:48SPEAKER_02: Your voice is amazing.
- 40:49SPEAKER_02: His, you know, I mean, like, there's room for all of us at the top.
- 40:52SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 40:53SPEAKER_02: So, and like when days get hard, I want you to remember that.
- 40:56SPEAKER_04: Like, yeah, and your superpower is like you said you changed that girl's life, right?
- 41:01SPEAKER_04: Like, so that's your power is your music.
- 41:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's your music.
- 41:04SPEAKER_04: Like, that's the biggest superpower.
- 41:06SPEAKER_04: That's like, like, you're literally changing someone's life.
- 41:09SPEAKER_02: You are literally.
- 41:10SPEAKER_04: That's so cool.
- 41:11SPEAKER_02: Somebody has a better existence because of what you did.
- 41:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 41:14SPEAKER_02: You and Larry should go on tour.
- 41:16SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 41:17SPEAKER_02: I'd love that.
- 41:18SPEAKER_02: You and Larry go on tour.
- 41:19SPEAKER_04: Castle featuring Larry.
- 41:22SPEAKER_02: Larry.
- 41:22SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 41:22SPEAKER_02: Yes, to bear inspired.
- 41:24SPEAKER_02: Let's bring can you bring Larry to the next shoot?
- 41:25SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh.
- 41:26SPEAKER_02: Like, will you come back?
- 41:27SPEAKER_02: I could.
- 41:27SPEAKER_02: He'd probably get scared.
- 41:28SPEAKER_04: That'd be a cool stage moment, like walking out with Larry.
- 41:32SPEAKER_04: Yeah, too.
- 41:32SPEAKER_08: You'll probably get really scared from all the loud noises, but you know, you could do a little dance.
- 41:38SPEAKER_02: We would do it.
- 41:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 41:40SPEAKER_02: I have another question for you.
- 41:41SPEAKER_02: Will you come back to Happy Hour?
- 41:42SPEAKER_02: Will you keep us going and keep us partying?
- 41:45SPEAKER_02: Thank you for like when I I don't think I can put enough emphasis on you guys are crazy busy and you're carving out of place in the world.
- 41:54SPEAKER_02: And it's so fabulous to me that you are now part of this happy hour family and that you've turned you've carved out time.
- 42:01SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 42:02SPEAKER_02: So that this the people can see this, and we're giving people dreams and we're giving people hope.
- 42:06SPEAKER_02: And you know, so thank you so much.
- 42:08SPEAKER_02: I can't wait to have you back.
- 42:11SPEAKER_02: Thank you for having me.
- 42:12SPEAKER_02: What's your address?
- 42:12SPEAKER_02: We're all come over and meet Larry.
- 42:14SPEAKER_02: Oh, don't drop that off.
- 42:17SPEAKER_02: Start with the socials.
- 42:19SPEAKER_02: Right, exactly.
- 42:20SPEAKER_02: All of a sudden, I was so aware.
- 42:21SPEAKER_02: Like, I know when you guys were talking about the NL, I'm like, oh God, Jason's gonna go through his ring doorbell.
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: There's gonna be every 21-year-old full of the end of that.
- 42:31SPEAKER_04: Do you have any fans that follow you that are a little crazy?
- 42:35SPEAKER_02: Uh no.
- 42:36SPEAKER_04: You'll have to have some.
- 42:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no.
- 42:41SPEAKER_02: I've had the the pleasure and of meeting Holden has some some serious fan base.
- 42:47SPEAKER_02: And like I I literally, you know, when you do this, you get close to people, they become family.
- 42:51SPEAKER_02: Like they're totally family to me, you know.
- 42:53SPEAKER_02: And you know, I see one thing on the internet, and I I call Holden's mom like a crazy woman.
- 42:58SPEAKER_02: Like she's probably like, are you an adult?
- 43:00SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, I'm can I just tell you that I'm a little and she's like, Deb, he's infinitely protected.
- 43:06SPEAKER_02: I'm like, that's all you have to do.
- 43:08SPEAKER_02: And she like says a little thing, his mom rocks.
- 43:10SPEAKER_02: I love her.
- 43:11SPEAKER_02: And she's she's like, now you're infinitely protected.
- 43:14SPEAKER_02: I'm like, bring on the Karen's, bring him on, bring him, let's go, right?
- 43:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and it's so true, but you do, you will, you totally will have somebody that that says something or you know, and don't take anything personally, it's them, not you, yeah, unless they're saying, like, oh my god, Castle's the greatest thing since cheesesteaks in Philadelphia.
- 43:33SPEAKER_04: Always remember that like you're already changing lives, so for them to just say stuff, it's like they don't even know what you're doing already.
- 43:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right, exactly.
- 43:42SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 43:44SPEAKER_02: I my whole thing is there's a 38-year-old overweight man wiping Doritos in the basement of his parents' house that breaks the dryer and finally dad's like, You're out.
- 43:54SPEAKER_02: Like, what are you doing that you would ever have to say?
- 43:58SPEAKER_02: Use something to make somebody.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: Feel small.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: Have you ever heard a comment like that?
- 44:02SPEAKER_02: Like a hater comment?
- 44:04SPEAKER_08: Um, I mean, well, I I one time had a video of me go viral from it was not anything music related.
- 44:10SPEAKER_08: It was me and my sister like eating a cupcake on my birthday, and we were like imitating foodie vloggers, so we were like very like exaggerated, and people were like, You guys are giving mean girls.
- 44:19SPEAKER_08: But I'm like, what?
- 44:20SPEAKER_02: Like I really like you're so the opposite of a mean girl.
- 44:26SPEAKER_02: Somebody called me a Karen.
- 44:28SPEAKER_02: What?
- 44:29SPEAKER_02: Can you believe that?
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: Right, exactly.
- 44:31SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm the anti-Karen.
- 44:32SPEAKER_02: She's a dead, not a Karen.
- 44:33SPEAKER_02: It's truly like you have a neighbor, you want me to be your neighbor.
- 44:37SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 44:37SPEAKER_02: I'm the one like, I got a bottle of wine, come on over.
- 44:40SPEAKER_02: Like, you want me to be.
- 44:42SPEAKER_02: You know, it's so funny, but yeah, it's totally them and not you.
- 44:46SPEAKER_02: But I can't tell you, Castle, you're a joy.
- 44:48SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 44:48SPEAKER_02: You were a pleasure to have on.
- 44:49SPEAKER_02: Did you have some fun today?
- 44:50SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, yeah.
- 44:51SPEAKER_02: This is so cool.
- 44:52SPEAKER_02: Please come back to have you.
- 44:53SPEAKER_02: I would love to.
- 44:53SPEAKER_02: Please come back.
- 44:54SPEAKER_02: And you're 21 now, so we can really, you know.
- 44:56SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah, we gotta, it's happy hour.
- 44:57SPEAKER_07: We gotta have drinks.
- 44:58SPEAKER_07: It's happy.
- 44:58SPEAKER_07: Would you like a beer?
- 45:00SPEAKER_07: Right now.
- 45:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:01SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 45:02SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 45:04SPEAKER_02: Send it.
- 45:04SPEAKER_02: No pressure.
- 45:06SPEAKER_02: This is our our sponsor for this shoot.
- 45:09SPEAKER_02: Um, this fabulous Alan, we we love you, sir.
- 45:12SPEAKER_02: Thank you for for doing all you do.
- 45:14SPEAKER_02: He was doing the corporate grind, he wanted to do what he loved.
- 45:17SPEAKER_02: Veteran-owned, veteran operated.
- 45:20SPEAKER_02: He's starting this company.
- 45:21SPEAKER_02: They got a Tennessee license, so they'll be here.
- 45:23SPEAKER_02: You'll you'll be seeing them everywhere here.
- 45:25SPEAKER_02: And a money goes back to the veterans.
- 45:28SPEAKER_02: I work a lot with PTSD.
- 45:30SPEAKER_02: I know, I know.
- 45:31SPEAKER_02: My brother's like, I think you cause PTSD, but yeah.
- 45:34SPEAKER_02: Um, so I do, and I think like giving back to I know we're thickest thieves, my brother and I.
- 45:38SPEAKER_02: It was the rough childhood.
- 45:39SPEAKER_02: We had to like, we were each other's people.
- 45:41SPEAKER_02: But um, you know, it's really, and they're suicide prevention and and all this is really real.
- 45:46SPEAKER_02: And the reason we're here is because somebody was brave enough to protect us, and so we're gonna give a shout out to them, right?
- 45:55SPEAKER_02: We're gonna have, we're gonna have one together, you and I.
- 45:56SPEAKER_08: Oh, okay.
- 45:57SPEAKER_08: Sounds good.
- 45:57SPEAKER_08: I think giving back is so important.
- 45:59SPEAKER_02: Totally, totally.
- 46:00SPEAKER_02: You you don't gratitude and and kindness, it costs nothing to be cool, just be cool.
- 46:08SPEAKER_07: You know, little ASMR.
- 46:11SPEAKER_07: Oh god, I can't open it.
- 46:13unknown: Oh god.
- 46:15SPEAKER_02: I got you.
- 46:16SPEAKER_02: Timmy, how do you know open a beer down there?
- 46:19SPEAKER_00: ASMR to the mic.
- 46:21SPEAKER_02: Alrighty, here's to you! Castle today.
- 46:24SPEAKER_02: It's such an honor to have you, I know.
- 46:26SPEAKER_02: Timmy was about to slug that back taste in.
- 46:29SPEAKER_02: It's really good.
- 46:30SPEAKER_02: Wow, the beer is delicious.
- 46:31SPEAKER_02: It's I they don't sell it where where I live yet, but um I'm I'm taking some home for sure.
- 46:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, it's delicious beer, isn't it?
- 46:39SPEAKER_02: It tastes really good.
- 46:40SPEAKER_02: I'm not even like a beer person, though.
- 46:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but that tastes pretty good.
- 46:43SPEAKER_02: I I don't drink a lot of beer.
- 46:46SPEAKER_02: I love beer so much that like I don't start, I'll go down that rabbit hole.
- 46:51SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah.
- 46:51SPEAKER_02: I think beer is just like God's gift to football, and football's God's gift to us.
- 46:56SPEAKER_02: And like I love a good like Saturday tailgating and a pole of beer.
- 47:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's good stuff, all American stuff.
- 47:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 47:04SPEAKER_02: Thank you for coming, my friend.
- 47:06SPEAKER_02: We'll have you back.
- 47:07SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 47:09SPEAKER_02: Maybe we'll have you come co-host, come sit in a show.
- 47:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'd love to.
- 47:12SPEAKER_02: You have to wear your Timmy McKeever hat.
- 47:14SPEAKER_02: Just joking.
- 47:15SPEAKER_02: No, once I give it to my friend, she's not taking it off.
- 47:18SPEAKER_02: It's so funny.
- 47:19SPEAKER_02: You know, I brought, I'm I'm a huge Holden and I are big, huge, bullied Green Eagles fans, and I brought Timmy a hat, and it was so funny because do I have to wear it on the show?
- 47:27SPEAKER_02: I'm like, you're a legitimate adult, sir.
- 47:30SPEAKER_02: Do whatever you I love you and you do you.
- 47:33SPEAKER_02: You know, so but it was a delight.
- 47:34SPEAKER_02: I'm so you gotta send us the reaction of what your friend says when she gets a hat.
- 47:38SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, I will.
- 47:39SPEAKER_08: Oh, yeah.
- 47:39SPEAKER_08: That's amazing.
- 47:40SPEAKER_08: Because I'm literally going to see her this weekend in Richmond.
- 47:42SPEAKER_02: So really, dude, you brought the gift.
- 47:45SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 47:46SPEAKER_02: You want Timmy?
- 47:46SPEAKER_02: We'll rent him out for the weekend.
- 47:48SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 47:49SPEAKER_02: Jason, I'm messing with you, sir.
- 47:51SPEAKER_04: I'm not gonna mess with you.
- 47:52SPEAKER_04: Free serenades.
- 47:53SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 47:54SPEAKER_02: Right, exactly.
- 47:55SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 47:56SPEAKER_02: I I don't even want, like, when you get this close with these people, you know, and you you're your like people to call and people to have on your show, and the just generally wonderful people.
- 48:06SPEAKER_02: I truly love both of them to death.
- 48:07SPEAKER_02: And like, I'm like, I don't want to hold and get a girlfriend.
- 48:10SPEAKER_02: He's not gonna be able to like have a beer with me, you know.
- 48:13SPEAKER_02: And dude, you're we're not even talking about dating.
- 48:15SPEAKER_02: It's not even on.
- 48:16SPEAKER_02: I'll let you know when I'm ready.
- 48:18SPEAKER_04: Yes, ma'am.
- 48:19SPEAKER_02: Let you know, and let you do.
- 48:20SPEAKER_02: Hey, me too.
- 48:22SPEAKER_04: Music is my girlfriend right now.
- 48:24SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 48:24SPEAKER_04: That's right, exactly.
- 48:26SPEAKER_02: That's all you need, sir.
- 48:27SPEAKER_02: That's all you need.
- 48:28SPEAKER_02: Thanks, Castle.
- 48:29SPEAKER_02: You're back so much.
