- 0:12Speaker 1: Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello. Welcome to the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Naughty But Nice Show. I'm your host Rob Shooter and
- 0:19Speaker 1: it's Friday which means our dear friend Corey Andrew joins us.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Hey Corey, are you there?
- 0:24Speaker 3: I am here with bells on darling.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle. There you go my friend.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Let's jump into the show because we've got A ton
- 0:31Speaker 1: of gossip to get to. What time is it, my friends?
- 0:35Speaker 1: It is tea time. Massive story at the top of
- 0:38Speaker 1: the show. So ex-Prince Andrew has scored a major legal
- 0:42Speaker 1: victory as courts rule that the police raids on his homes,
- 0:48Speaker 1: two homes, were unlawful. So the disgraced former Prince Andrew
- 0:53Speaker 1: has scored an absolutely significant victory. legal victory after police
- 0:57Speaker 1: admitted that the warrants they used to search his royal
- 1:02Speaker 1: residence were unlawful. The High Court in London yesterday heard
- 1:08Speaker 1: that the warrants were were authorised for the February raid
- 1:11Speaker 1: at Sandrington and the Royal Lodge were issued under the
- 1:16Speaker 1: wrong section of the law. So let's be clear here.
- 1:19Speaker 1: It's a technicality. But this stuff is important. You do
- 1:23Speaker 1: have to follow the law. And so it is such
- 1:27Speaker 1: sloppy police work. And you would be surprised that a
- 1:30Speaker 1: case that is this high profile, you would think, you
- 1:34Speaker 1: would imagine that they certainly would make sure Every I
- 1:38Speaker 1: was dotted, every T was crossed.
- 1:39Speaker 2: They didn't.
- 1:40Speaker 1: So it was under the wrong section of the law.
- 1:44Speaker 1: The warrants have now been quashed.
- 1:45Speaker 2: They're gone.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Big questions now. Will the evidence they retrieved, and this
- 1:51Speaker 1: was because of suspicion of misconduct in public office amid
- 1:55Speaker 1: renewed scrutiny of his Jeffrey Epstein connections, will that evidence
- 2:00Speaker 1: have to now be thrown out? What my sources are
- 2:02Speaker 1: telling me is naturally Andrew is thrilled by this. The
- 2:06Speaker 1: former prince thinks he's been vindicated. Not quite true. The
- 2:12Speaker 1: case has not been thrown out. It's not going away.
- 2:15Speaker 1: The police are going to continue investigating this. But what
- 2:19Speaker 1: about the evidence they have? Now a judge has to
- 2:23Speaker 1: decide all this. But the investigation remains ongoing. So a
- 2:26Speaker 1: technicality here. But it certainly gives him a great headline.
- 2:30Speaker 1: The headlines are, that he has won this legal battle.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And that's partially true, not totally, but it's better than
- 2:39Speaker 1: losing it.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Let me put it like that.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Well, you know, there's two parts there. One is the
- 2:43Speaker 4: court of public opinion, which he clearly cannot change that.
- 2:48Speaker 4: I mean, this is for the most part, people will
- 2:50Speaker 4: know it's a technicality and people know it will mean
- 2:52Speaker 4: that he didn't actually.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Undo what he's accused of doing.
- 2:58Speaker 2: But you're right.
- 2:59Speaker 4: I and then he's no longer even guilty in the courts,
- 3:05Speaker 4: and so he doesn't have it on his record if
- 3:06Speaker 4: that's the case. So there is where it becomes tricky.
- 3:09Speaker 4: But as far as the public is concerned, I mean,
- 3:12Speaker 4: it's pretty much damage is done from a PR standpoint.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Yeah, the damage is done. Hopefully this bad guy is gone.
- 3:21Speaker 1: He's living the life of Riley up on one of
- 3:23Speaker 1: his brother's estates. We're now finding out that he also
- 3:27Speaker 1: got about a £ 300, 000 loan payment for giving up his
- 3:31Speaker 1: lease on the Royal Lodge. Anybody that thinks Andrew is
- 3:34Speaker 1: living a tough life is foolish. His life is ridiculous.
- 3:38Speaker 1: His friends are visiting.
- 3:40Speaker 2: He's riding.
- 3:41Speaker 1: He's shooting. He's doing, he's doing, he's literally living, no
- 3:45Speaker 1: pun intended, like a prince up on this estate. And
- 3:48Speaker 1: so we should be so lucky. Andrew, I wouldn't push
- 3:51Speaker 1: your luck here. My insiders tell me that he is
- 3:54Speaker 1: a cocky devil. He is an arrogant man. And he
- 3:57Speaker 1: now thinks that maybe he should get his titles back too.
- 4:00Speaker 1: They are not related. They are not related. So police people,
- 4:05Speaker 1: I come from a long line of police officers. My
- 4:07Speaker 1: dad was a policeman. My sister was a police person.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And so, yeah, they make mistakes. They're human beings. They
- 4:13Speaker 1: don't want to make mistakes. They don't go out their
- 4:16Speaker 1: way to make mistakes. This warrant was unlawful, not because
- 4:20Speaker 1: of any big conspiracy theory. But people ticked.
- 4:25Speaker 2: The wrong box.
- 4:27Speaker 1: It happens. It just happens. My fear is here, though,
- 4:31Speaker 1: is that it's going to give him the opportunity to
- 4:35Speaker 1: push this, to tell everybody I am innocent.
- 4:38Speaker 2: See, this was unlawful. That's a real big word. It
- 4:42Speaker 2: was unlawful.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I don't think he can win the public back. I
- 4:47Speaker 1: hope he can't. But you never know, which brings us
- 4:49Speaker 1: to our poll question of the day. Ex-Prince Andrew has
- 4:52Speaker 1: scored a major legal victory. As courts have ruled, the
- 4:56Speaker 1: police raids were unlawful. Do you think the case should
- 5:00Speaker 1: be thrown out? Do you think on a technicality?
- 5:03Speaker 3: This has happened.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Cases have been thrown out. My only time that I
- 5:07Speaker 1: was on a jury, there was a gentleman who was
- 5:10Speaker 1: accused of stealing a purse. Well, they found him and
- 5:14Speaker 1: the purse. It was quite clear that he had that purse.
- 5:18Speaker 2: However.
- 5:19Speaker 1: there was a problem with how the police investigated it.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I don't remember the details, but we had to say
- 5:27Speaker 1: not guilty because the technicality really was a big deal.
- 5:31Speaker 1: They did something that they shouldn't have done. And so
- 5:34Speaker 1: it does happen. This stuff does happen. Do you think,
- 5:39Speaker 1: do you think it will get, it should get thrown out? Hey,
- 5:42Speaker 1: go vote on our X page, our Twitter page at
- 5:45Speaker 1: Naughty Nice Rob, our Facebook page is Naughty Gossip. And
- 5:49Speaker 1: be sure to check back on Monday to hear your results. Hey, Corey,
- 5:54Speaker 1: what are you working on?
- 5:56Speaker 4: Yes, well, continuing in the royal theme, Meghan Markle is
- 6:00Speaker 4: back on the London social scene and she is keeping
- 6:02Speaker 4: an impressive reputation.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Bit of company these days, it seems. Yeah, so the
- 6:06Speaker 3: Duchess of Sussex. Is that where she is now again?
- 6:08Speaker 2: Still the Duchess of Sussex.
- 6:09Speaker 3: I can't keep up with her.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Never lost the title. Never lost the title.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Yeah, it's so hard to keep up with her. One
- 6:14Speaker 4: day she's a Duchess, next day she's just Meghan. But anyway,
- 6:17Speaker 4: she was spotted enjoying dinner with Nobel Peace Prize winner
- 6:19Speaker 4: Malala Yousafzai. I always say Malala's name. I think it's Yousafzai,
- 6:23Speaker 4: how do you pronounce it? And Yousafzai is 29.
- 6:26Speaker 3: She was like the.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner, I believe. But they were
- 6:29Speaker 4: at the Claridge Luxury Hotel at Mayfair. And a TikTok
- 6:33Speaker 4: video captured the pair deep in conversation with Meghan wearing
- 6:36Speaker 4: a crisp white shirt and Malala sporting a beige coat.
- 6:40Speaker 4: The women first connected back in 2020 while discussing girls' education.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Of course, Malala is a really big women's advocate, women
- 6:47Speaker 4: and girls' education advocate for the Middle East. And so
- 6:50Speaker 4: the outing marks Meghan's first public appearance in London since
- 6:53Speaker 4: returning to Britain with Prince Harry and their children back
- 6:56Speaker 4: in August.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Well, not back in August. That's fairly recently, isn't it?
- 7:00Speaker 4: And so previously, Megan was spotted socializing in the Cotswolds
- 7:04Speaker 4: with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia. Now, I think that's where
- 7:06Speaker 4: Ellen and Portia live, correct, in that area of England?
- 7:09Speaker 1: They're in the Cotswolds, yes, and Megan's close by.
- 7:12Speaker 3: So it's really wonderful to kind of see Megan back.
- 7:14Speaker 4: And I think to me, this seems like a very,
- 7:16Speaker 4: I don't want to say it's PR, but it seems
- 7:18Speaker 4: like a very smart, calculated first outing, if you will,
- 7:22Speaker 4: because it's intellectual, it's high value, it's... There's a lot
- 7:27Speaker 4: of positives to this versus, you know, she was seen,
- 7:29Speaker 4: nothing against Paris Hilton, you know, but if she had
- 7:32Speaker 4: been seen with Paris Hilton, it's.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Like, oh my gosh, another celebrity sighting, blah.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Blah, blah.
- 7:37Speaker 3: This one has some substance.
- 7:39Speaker 2: What do you think? It does. Oh, absolutely.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I will say it's PR. So yes, the family's been
- 7:43Speaker 1: back since August. They've been there now over a month.
- 7:46Speaker 1: They returned about four, five weeks ago. We've not seen
- 7:49Speaker 1: Meghan in London since they've returned. There's been a few
- 7:52Speaker 1: sightings of her in the Cotswolds in Oxford. But now
- 7:55Speaker 1: she is in London. Let's be clear here. I've stayed
- 7:58Speaker 1: at Claridge's. It is one of the most high profile
- 8:01Speaker 1: hotels in London. Of all people, I stayed there with
- 8:05Speaker 1: Paris Hilton. So as you said, it wasn't a good
- 8:08Speaker 1: look for Megan. It probably wasn't a good look for
- 8:10Speaker 1: me either. But Paris and I once flew to London
- 8:12Speaker 1: together and stayed at Claridge's. It is a place where
- 8:15Speaker 1: photographers hang outside. It's a place where you go when
- 8:18Speaker 1: you want to be shot. If Megan wanted to go
- 8:20Speaker 1: to London and have an afternoon tea with a friend,
- 8:24Speaker 1: with a colleague... There are a million places you could go.
- 8:26Speaker 1: It's the same in America. There are several restaurants in
- 8:30Speaker 1: LA and New York that are celebrity hangouts and the
- 8:32Speaker 1: paps are already outside. So Meghan wanted to be seen
- 8:36Speaker 1: and this is a good person to be seen with.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Let's be honest, this is giving us an insight into
- 8:41Speaker 1: Meghan's future, what she has planned for her future. If
- 8:44Speaker 1: she was gonna get back into movies, we would have
- 8:47Speaker 1: seen her with Guy Ritchie or Steven Spielberg. If she
- 8:50Speaker 1: wanted to get into fashion, she would have been with
- 8:52Speaker 1: Donna Karan or Stella McCartney. She can have a lunch
- 8:55Speaker 1: with anybody. The fact that she is meeting This exceptional
- 8:58Speaker 1: human being tells me that this is where Meghan sees
- 9:03Speaker 1: her future. She wanted this photograph. She's dressed to the nines.
- 9:06Speaker 1: She's not dressed to not be photographed. She's not wearing
- 9:09Speaker 1: jeans and a T-shirt. She's in full glam. And she
- 9:13Speaker 1: looks fabulous. Meghan, white flared pants, a white dress. a
- 9:17Speaker 1: white top, this beautiful camel coat. Her companion is dressed like.
- 9:22Speaker 2: A normal person.
- 9:23Speaker 3: She's very modest.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yeah, she's very modest. Meghan is full Hollywood glamour. And
- 9:28Speaker 1: outside the hotel, outside the hotel, they paused. Meghan, there's
- 9:33Speaker 1: back entrance to Claridge's. If you don't want to be
- 9:35Speaker 1: seen at Claridge's, you go through the back, you go
- 9:37Speaker 1: through the kitchen. There's lots of ways to get out.
- 9:40Speaker 1: She walked out the front door. The paps were there,
- 9:42Speaker 1: a huge hug. It's her right, you know, I'm not
- 9:44Speaker 1: going to, beat up Megan for something every other celebrity does.
- 9:48Speaker 2: They do this.
- 9:49Speaker 1: This is part of the celebrity game. You have to
- 9:51Speaker 1: remember that Megan is a celebrity. She came up through
- 9:53Speaker 1: the world of modeling and acting. She was on Suits,
- 9:57Speaker 1: Deal or No Deal. She knows how to create a photo.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Beautiful pictures of these two people outside Claridge's. But what's important, Corey,
- 10:04Speaker 1: and you're so smart to spot it, is who she
- 10:06Speaker 1: decided her first picture was going to be with. It
- 10:10Speaker 1: wasn't going to be with her husband, not Stella McCartney,
- 10:13Speaker 1: not Paris Hilton, but no, a globally respected.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Nobel Prize winner. with her.
- 10:20Speaker 1: This is where she wants her future. And it's not
- 10:23Speaker 1: a bad look. You know, Angelina Jolie was the bad
- 10:26Speaker 1: girl of Hollywood until she started doing really wise humanitarian visits, efforts, outreach.
- 10:33Speaker 1: And she changed her reputation. It was not that long
- 10:36Speaker 1: ago that we used to roll our eyes at Angelina Jolie, the.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Bad girl image.
- 10:41Speaker 1: And then suddenly she's turned herself into an ambassador of
- 10:44Speaker 1: global peace.
- 10:45Speaker 2: And she's on CNN.
- 10:46Speaker 1: And I think that's where we're going to see Megan go.
- 10:49Speaker 1: And so the fact she's meeting with these people, my
- 10:52Speaker 1: mom always says, hang out with the people who you
- 10:55Speaker 1: want to become. If you want to work in theater,
- 10:58Speaker 1: go and hang out at the theater bars. If you
- 11:00Speaker 1: want to work in fashion, go and hang out with
- 11:02Speaker 1: people in fashion. And so I think Megan here is
- 11:05Speaker 1: following my mom's advice. And it's very, very good advice here. Megan,
- 11:09Speaker 1: good luck.
- 11:10Speaker 2: You know, the pictures are a little stagey.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Well, that's the problem, though. My concern is that. My
- 11:16Speaker 4: concern is that, you know, you brought up Angelina.
- 11:18Speaker 3: It seemed authentic.
- 11:20Speaker 2: She does.
- 11:22Speaker 3: When I see the big over-the-top kind of glam photo,
- 11:25Speaker 3: it makes me wonder, you know, is this photo op?
- 11:28Speaker 3: Is this just her going crazy?
- 11:30Speaker 4: Going where the wind is blowing her because she needs
- 11:33Speaker 4: some positive PR or if she really cares about it.
- 11:36Speaker 2: A little of both, I hope.
- 11:38Speaker 1: But let's be clear. If you're listening back in the low, low, low,
- 11:40Speaker 1: the best photo ops are the ones that look organic.
- 11:44Speaker 1: And this doesn't. Angelina is the queen of setting up
- 11:47Speaker 1: a photo op. and making it look like it.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Was just happening. Oops, look at that picture. There's Angie
- 11:54Speaker 2: with the Pope. How did that happen? Meghan is still
- 11:59Speaker 2: learning this. She'll get there.
- 12:00Speaker 1: She'll get there. Okay, we have even more royal news.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Harry is revealing that he slipped into depression after leaving Britain.
- 12:06Speaker 1: What did he have to say?
- 12:07Speaker 2: Oh, that Here it is.
- 12:11Speaker 1: So Harry is opening up about the emotional toll after
- 12:14Speaker 1: leaving Britain. He has a new masterclass session. This is
- 12:17Speaker 1: a really big, big program where you do get paid
- 12:20Speaker 1: for it. So people get paid about $ 100, 000. I'm told
- 12:23Speaker 1: Harry actually made a little bit more than that. He
- 12:26Speaker 1: doesn't really have the expertise. They like experts on this.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It's a masterclass. It's teaching you about grief. He certainly
- 12:34Speaker 1: has a very compelling real life story. And so he
- 12:38Speaker 1: sat down and he talked about leaving, leaving Britain. And
- 12:42Speaker 1: he said he actually, quote, slipped into a depression for
- 12:46Speaker 1: about two weeks. So he slipped into a depression. They
- 12:49Speaker 1: went to Canada, if you remember. He said he struggled
- 12:53Speaker 1: to function. This is so important. He struggled to function
- 12:57Speaker 1: in a world without stress. that he had become accustomed to.
- 13:02Speaker 1: So he was so used to living in that fishbowl,
- 13:06Speaker 1: so used to being in that bubble, that once you
- 13:09Speaker 1: took the stress away.
- 13:10Speaker 2: You didn't feel good. You felt worse.
- 13:13Speaker 1: This is what happens to people that are addicts. When
- 13:16Speaker 1: you take the drugs away, they actually feel worse. Then
- 13:19Speaker 1: they have to get better. He revealed that he had
- 13:21Speaker 1: suffered panic attacks while performing royal duties for years, sometimes
- 13:26Speaker 1: feeling suffocated when he put on.
- 13:28Speaker 2: A dress shirt.
- 13:30Speaker 1: These revelations come after Harry, Meghan, and the two children
- 13:34Speaker 1: have returned now back to Britain. They've been in Britain
- 13:36Speaker 1: for about four months. I think it's really honest. Now,
- 13:39Speaker 1: some people are saying because he got paid so much
- 13:41Speaker 1: money for this, it's not real. No, both can be true.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You can make a lot of money and still tell
- 13:45Speaker 1: the truth. I believe every word of it. It's tricky
- 13:49Speaker 1: now because people get cross that Harry and Meghan are
- 13:52Speaker 1: a profit-centered couple. They need to pay their rent. And
- 13:56Speaker 1: so I'm told he got about $ 250, 000 for this, but
- 14:00Speaker 1: it probably was very profitable and we're all talking about it.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Do you have an issue with people selling their expertise
- 14:06Speaker 1: or is that just what called life?
- 14:07Speaker 2: Is that jobs? Does that work?
- 14:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, you know, Masterclass is a platform in
- 14:12Speaker 4: which they pay celebrities to actually deliver these classes that
- 14:17Speaker 4: live on, that people can subscribe to and use for
- 14:19Speaker 4: the rest of their lives as like a little go-to to.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Learn from people who've gone through it.
- 14:25Speaker 4: So we all watched what Prince Harry went through as
- 14:28Speaker 4: a little boy when his mom passed away.
- 14:30Speaker 3: So he's relevant. And we know that's a real tangible.
- 14:33Speaker 4: It would be like JFK Jr. God bless him. God
- 14:37Speaker 4: rest his soul. But it would be like if he
- 14:39Speaker 4: were alive and someone wanted to talk about what's it
- 14:41Speaker 4: feel like to lose a parent. He'd be a viable
- 14:44Speaker 4: source to listen to and pay him for his time.
- 14:48Speaker 2: And they're useful.
- 14:48Speaker 1: I've done a few of these masterclasses when I wanted
- 14:51Speaker 1: to write a novel. I did two masterclasses with authors.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I know you've done them with vocal coaches.
- 14:56Speaker 2: With big singers.
- 14:58Speaker 1: If Madonna wanted to do a masterclass and I wanted
- 15:00Speaker 1: to be a singer, gosh, I'd sign up for that.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Or Taylor Swift did a songwriting masterclass. I think that
- 15:06Speaker 1: would be absolutely delicious. The tricky part here is that
- 15:09Speaker 1: Harry's credentials are not academic. He didn't go to college
- 15:14Speaker 1: or university to learn music. how to deal with grief.
- 15:17Speaker 1: He learned the hardest way, I think, which is by
- 15:20Speaker 1: personal experience. But you can't throw that away. Personal experience
- 15:25Speaker 1: is a really real, big, major qualification. So let's not
- 15:29Speaker 1: say he's not qualified. He just doesn't have the traditional
- 15:34Speaker 1: qualifications of other people who have headed up these masterclasses. Okay,
- 15:38Speaker 1: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:40Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty But Nice Show.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shooter.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Hey, let's get to the polls.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Last show we talked about Meghan Markle exploding at her
- 15:53Speaker 1: team in the USA. There was an awful little mistake.
- 15:56Speaker 1: She posted a video of her and little Lily, but
- 15:58Speaker 1: it was adorable, making jam. However, the oven wasn't on.
- 16:02Speaker 1: The cooker, that's what Brits call it, was not on.
- 16:05Speaker 1: The cooker was on. She's literally no gas. There's no
- 16:09Speaker 1: gas there. So she's stirring this jam and there's no flame.
- 16:12Speaker 1: So she's not happy about that. She's lashed out at
- 16:15Speaker 1: her team a little bit, but you know, that is
- 16:17Speaker 1: part of the team's job. She's struggling to hire a
- 16:20Speaker 1: team in the UK. Our question was quite simple. Would
- 16:24Speaker 1: you work for the Duchess? 60% said no. Having a
- 16:30Speaker 1: tough boss is difficult. I've never really been in the
- 16:33Speaker 1: position where I could pick or choose.
- 16:35Speaker 2: I've needed the job. I've needed the money.
- 16:36Speaker 1: If I get offered a job, I just have to
- 16:38Speaker 1: deal with it. But that's meant that I've had some
- 16:40Speaker 1: horrific bosses. Hello, Diddy. I've had some real stinkers. If
- 16:46Speaker 1: I had the money and I didn't need the work,
- 16:50Speaker 1: I would be more selective, as you are, Nautese. Hey,
- 16:52Speaker 1: don't forget to vote. On today's poll, go to our
- 16:55Speaker 1: Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob. Our Facebook page is
