- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, guys. This is Teddy Mellencamp and I'm joined by
- 0:04Speaker 1: my friend Emily Simpson for our new spin off show
- 0:08Speaker 1: Popping Off, where we are digging deep on this season
- 0:12Speaker 1: of Banner Pump Rules. Hi guys, welcome to another episode
- 0:15Speaker 1: of Popping Off with Teddy Mellencamp and and Emily Simpson.
- 0:20Speaker 1: How you doing? I am doing lovely And I'm going
- 0:23Speaker 1: to have to just ask you something because me and
- 0:26Speaker 1: Tamer got into a slight altercation this morning. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 0:31Speaker 1: I mean it wasn't major, but now I have some
- 0:34Speaker 1: grilling of you that I need to do.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Oh great, okayone, Tamer didn't even prepare me for this,
- 0:40Speaker 2: so I feel very blindsided right now.
- 0:42Speaker 1: All right, you should feel blindsided because the pressures on.
- 0:46Speaker 1: I have two questions for you, Okay. The first one
- 0:49Speaker 1: is do you know Tamra's kids' names? Yeah? Okay, what
- 0:55Speaker 1: are they? Okay?
- 0:58Speaker 2: Ryan is the oldest, Then Spencer, then Sophia is the
- 1:03Speaker 2: youngest who lives with her, and then Sidney.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Well do you know mine?
- 1:13Speaker 2: Oh shit, there's Dubs, the little one right, that's that's
- 1:22Speaker 2: really the only one I know the name. I apologize.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Do you know my kids' names.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, I only knew annabel.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I know, everybody always knows Annabelle. And then it's like,
- 1:33Speaker 2: and then there's those two other little boys that nobody knows.
- 1:36Speaker 1: You do us for a real loop with having Luke
- 1:40Speaker 1: and then Keller. Yeah, because there's like a big juxtaposition
- 1:45Speaker 1: between the two names. Well, you mean, because Luke is
- 1:47Speaker 1: just like a very strong, everyday kind of name, and
- 1:50Speaker 1: then Keller's like where the hell did that come from? Yes?
- 1:52Speaker 2: Yeah, well see here's why. Because they were twins and
- 1:57Speaker 2: Shane said, okay, you name one and all name the other.
- 2:01Speaker 2: So you named Keller? No, that was Shane?
- 2:04Speaker 3: What?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yes?
- 2:07Speaker 2: No, okay. So my original pick for my boy name
- 2:10Speaker 2: was Hunter. And then Dane would not tell me what
- 2:14Speaker 2: his pick was, and so right before they were born,
- 2:17Speaker 2: and when he told me it was Keller, I was like,
- 2:20Speaker 2: I can't name this kid Hunter.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I can't have Hunter and Keller. It sounds like Hunter
- 2:24Speaker 1: and it sounds like Keller.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Or it sounds like a wildlife magazine, like like a
- 2:31Speaker 2: hunting magazine, like Hunter and Keller. I was like, okay,
- 2:35Speaker 2: So I had to go back rewind and I was like,
- 2:37Speaker 2: I'm going to go with Luke.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Okay, all right, well this this is all making more
- 2:42Speaker 1: sense because we were really struggling. We're like, we don't understand,
- 2:48Speaker 1: but I get it. Hunter, Keller, Hunter and Keller Yeah
- 2:52Speaker 1: all right, yeah. I was thinking like a Luke and
- 2:54Speaker 1: like a mat or like a Luke and a what's
- 2:57Speaker 1: like another like like Tom?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah you know, well it's Luke Lucas Thomas and Keller
- 3:07Speaker 2: Lawrence because those are their grandfather's names.
- 3:10Speaker 1: And then what's Annabell's middle name?
- 3:13Speaker 2: Well, technically her name is Sarah Annabel because she's named
- 3:16Speaker 2: after my sister, because my sister carried her. But we
- 3:19Speaker 2: couldn't do Originally, we were going to do Annabel Sarah Simpson,
- 3:22Speaker 2: but then her initials would be ass ass and I
- 3:26Speaker 2: was like, I cannot do that to that child.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I actually just died. I thought that my my option
- 3:35Speaker 1: of wanting to name one of our daughters rider and
- 3:38Speaker 1: edold being like ride her right, right, but not as
- 3:42Speaker 1: bad as.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Ass, right. So I had to change it to Sarah
- 3:46Speaker 2: Annabel Simpson. So now she's SaaS, but we call her Annabel,
- 3:49Speaker 2: so okay, but Sas seems pretty fitting to.
- 3:53Speaker 1: It's better than ass, that's true, So I was walking
- 3:57Speaker 1: through the grocery store the other day and someone pulls
- 4:01Speaker 1: me aside and they're like, oh, we love your new
- 4:04Speaker 1: podcast with Emily Simpson. I just saw her at a
- 4:09Speaker 1: cheer competition and you've never seen somebody more over a
- 4:14Speaker 1: cheer competition. And I was like, I've been to a
- 4:21Speaker 1: cheer competition. I've been to volleyball competition. There is a
- 4:25Speaker 1: lot of yelling, how like do you get hit a
- 4:29Speaker 1: breaking point? Well?
- 4:31Speaker 2: I the last cheer competition that Annabel had, I was
- 4:34Speaker 2: the only one that took her because Shane couldn't go.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And it was at usc in LA and it was.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Raining and I was there for eight hours alone and
- 4:44Speaker 2: it is literally horrible. It is horrible. And people kept
- 4:48Speaker 2: dming me. They were like, Hi, I see you.
- 4:50Speaker 1: There, Can I come saying I take a photo with you.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I was like, oh my god, this is Were you bedazzled?
- 4:55Speaker 1: And did you have glitter on? No?
- 4:57Speaker 2: I just had a sweat. I felt like I had
- 4:59Speaker 2: like a team sweatshirt on, and that was it.
- 5:01Speaker 1: That was like, I felt like you had a team
- 5:03Speaker 1: sweatshirt on.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I feel like it was like blue and my daughter's
- 5:08Speaker 2: team is blue.
- 5:09Speaker 1: So that was as spirited as I could be. But okay, well,
- 5:14Speaker 1: h Sas, maybe next time I'll come to watch you,
- 5:18Speaker 1: SaaS asked, maybe next time I'll come to watch one
- 5:21Speaker 1: of your cheer competitions.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Well, then you're going to get the schedule, because uh,
- 5:26Speaker 2: it's a lot, yeah, and I need some I need
- 5:29Speaker 2: someone to talk to. So wait, I don't understand what
- 5:31Speaker 2: was the fight where the argument was Tamara, oh.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Because my son's name. Well it was more so because
- 5:39Speaker 1: we were recapping Miami and we were kind of in
- 5:43Speaker 1: a shocking tournament ship talking the fact that Lisa didn't
- 5:47Speaker 1: know Kiki's kids' names. Yeah, and then Tamra said to me,
- 5:51Speaker 1: well do you know my kids' names? And there may
- 5:54Speaker 1: or may not have been a moment did you have
- 5:56Speaker 1: to pause or I needed hints? And then she was able.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I don't know, she could have been given information. She
- 6:07Speaker 1: could have been given information because she rattled all my kids'
- 6:10Speaker 1: names off like this, but then she struggled with one
- 6:14Speaker 1: of yours. So that was I mean, it wasn't really
- 6:16Speaker 1: a large I was nothing like what's happening between Vicki
- 6:19Speaker 1: and Tamra, but it was yeah, well that's a small hickup.
- 6:23Speaker 1: And then I was like, now I need to know
- 6:24Speaker 1: about Emily.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Well, see, no one ever argues like Vicky and Tammar,
- 6:28Speaker 2: because that's like another planet type of argument like those two,
- 6:32Speaker 2: Like that makes no sense to me. Have you ever
- 6:34Speaker 2: had arguments with a friend the way those two go
- 6:37Speaker 2: at each other?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Absolutely not. They would not be considered my friend, like
- 6:41Speaker 1: even television show or not television show. I can't even
- 6:47Speaker 1: wrap my head around it. The more we talk about it,
- 6:50Speaker 1: the more I'm just like, I I really I try
- 6:53Speaker 1: to avoid it. And then I now because I'm guilty
- 6:56Speaker 1: by association because my own drama with her, it just
- 6:58Speaker 1: keeps incoming into my feed. I'm tagged and shit like
- 7:02Speaker 1: I was involved in it. I'm like, listen, I don't
- 7:04Speaker 1: have any skin in this fight. This fight is not mine.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you're like, I just made a shitty coma at
- 7:10Speaker 2: Bromo conn Out.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I'm like, listen, I already got enough shit for that.
- 7:15Speaker 1: And now I'm moving on and I'm trying to cause
- 7:17Speaker 1: drama with new people, which is why we've We're done.
- 7:20Speaker 1: We're done talking housewives over and pop it off. We
- 7:22Speaker 1: move on over to vander Pump rules, which let's get
- 7:26Speaker 1: into the headlines. All right, okay, this one, well, I
- 7:32Speaker 1: had to send a message to my publicist because once
- 7:36Speaker 1: again I am no longer her favorite client. Because were
- 7:40Speaker 1: you ever her favorite client? You know I wasn't. So
- 7:46Speaker 1: does she tell you that she's like, you're my favorite client. No,
- 7:49Speaker 1: anytime she posts something about one of her clients on
- 7:52Speaker 1: her Insta story, I write like, so you've now made
- 7:55Speaker 1: it clear again that I'm not your favorite client. So
- 7:58Speaker 1: yesterday she posted this, and then I saw it everywhere,
- 8:02Speaker 1: which is Chicago has best non holiday performance week and
- 8:06Speaker 1: the show's history Broadway World article here Chicago's Broadway's longest
- 8:12Speaker 1: running American musical and Ariana Maddox is currently making her
- 8:16Speaker 1: Broadway debut as Roxy Heart, and she is the highest
- 8:19Speaker 1: grossing non holiday week and twenty seven years the production gross.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I don't even know this number? Is this night one
- 8:26Speaker 1: hundred and thirty nine thousand, nine hundred and thirty nine million,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 8:32Speaker 2: N thirty nine thousand, My goodness, forty cents. I like
- 8:37Speaker 2: the forty cents on the end for the way to
- 8:40Speaker 2: take it accurate. So this is my plea.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Not only is it to our joint publicist that maybe
- 8:46Speaker 1: she could throw me a bone and post some congratulatory
- 8:49Speaker 1: things to me. But also this is to Ariana, please
- 8:53Speaker 1: invite me and Emily to your show. Yes, we need
- 8:57Speaker 1: to pop off at Chicago and now give us an interview. Yes, absolutely,
- 9:03Speaker 1: did you hear that, Ariana? Did you hear it?
- 9:06Speaker 2: You know what, with Teddy being there, it might be
- 9:09Speaker 2: over a million for the week because she has a
- 9:12Speaker 2: publics and.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Everybody knows whr Teddy Mellon camp is so and Emily's
- 9:17Speaker 1: going to be there in her sheer gear. That's right.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I'll bring I'll bring ass. But I feel like that's
- 9:26Speaker 1: a good excuse for us to zip over to New
- 9:30Speaker 1: York watch this. We'll just zip over there. We'll zip
- 9:33Speaker 1: over because we also need to ask. I mean, we
- 9:36Speaker 1: need to talk about all the successes, but we also
- 9:38Speaker 1: need to talk about these tiktoks and if there's a
- 9:40Speaker 1: reality to the fact that something about her has nothing
- 9:43Speaker 1: inside of it. Yeah, I told you, I got a DM.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Someone was telling me it's closed, like it never opened
- 9:49Speaker 2: and never will.
- 9:50Speaker 1: It's never opened. But do we know if there's anything
- 9:53Speaker 1: we need boots on the ground, somebody going peeking their
- 9:56Speaker 1: eyes in and seeing what's happening inside.
- 9:59Speaker 2: All right, well, I'll put my my my workers out
- 10:03Speaker 2: there to see if they can look into the permits
- 10:06Speaker 2: and see what we can figure out.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Okay. Also, when I think it's kind of near Jeff Lewis,
- 10:12Speaker 1: so maybe we could do a field trip. Oh yeah,
- 10:15Speaker 1: we could. Jeff Lewis probably loved field trips. He'd be like,
- 10:19Speaker 1: let's go. Okay. This next one is in regards to
- 10:31Speaker 1: Jax Taylor. Jax Taylor explains how The Valley is different
- 10:34Speaker 1: from vander Pump Rules and reveals Hill Du Du Du
- 10:39Speaker 1: still the villain. No shit, Jacks, of course, you're still
- 10:43Speaker 1: going to be the villain villain. More than three years
- 10:45Speaker 1: after he and wife Brittany left vander Pump Rules, Jackson
- 10:48Speaker 1: is officially returning to the Bravo verse on The Valley.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I was always kind of the scapegoat on vander Pump Rules.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I overshadowed everybody else's well, listen, you know what I
- 10:58Speaker 1: feel like I can overshadow of Evil's flaws as well.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And no matter what they all did, it would always
- 11:05Speaker 1: come back on me, because you're always involved, Jacks. So
- 11:08Speaker 1: no matter what anybody else did, they all did the
- 11:11Speaker 1: same exact sames that I did believe it or not.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I want to come back, but I wanted to do
- 11:16Speaker 1: it differently. Jack's added he said the birth of his son, Cruise,
- 11:19Speaker 1: was the real kicker for him to make some changes.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I will never make any poor decisions again because I
- 11:25Speaker 1: have a son. Obviously, that villain he's always going to
- 11:28Speaker 1: be there. I have to work very, very hard in
- 11:30Speaker 1: life to keep that guy quiet. I'm like, are you
- 11:34Speaker 1: the villain or are you not the villain? I just
- 11:36Speaker 1: saw you on House of Villains. Well, he's a changed man.
- 11:40Speaker 1: So he says he's never going to make a poor
- 11:42Speaker 1: decision again ever in his whole life from here on
- 11:45Speaker 1: out on camera. And we're going to hold you accountable
- 11:48Speaker 1: to that, Jacks, because we will. I'm sure we're going
- 11:50Speaker 1: to be watching the valley and talking about it, and
- 11:53Speaker 1: we were going to hold up a little magnifying glass
- 11:56Speaker 1: and get Emily's Gavil where is it right here to
- 12:03Speaker 1: see if Jacks has changed his naughty ways? Right.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I do like how he says he's a changed man,
- 12:10Speaker 2: yet in the same sentence like not taking any accountability
- 12:13Speaker 2: for anything. Ever, it was always everybody else's fault and
- 12:17Speaker 2: he was just a scapegoat.
- 12:19Speaker 1: He couldn't help himself. Somebody else forced him to put
- 12:22Speaker 1: his penis in somebody else's vagina.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Clear yeah, well he clearly tripped and fell and then
- 12:28Speaker 2: just that was my girlfriend's best friend.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I didn't see that vagina there. Oops. Oops, I have
- 12:37Speaker 1: to thrust God, I can't. It's just too good. They
- 12:42Speaker 1: all bone each other. I feel like there needs to
- 12:45Speaker 1: be more boning on Housewives of Everybody because could you
- 12:48Speaker 1: imagine the drama that would happen? I mean you were feeling,
- 12:51Speaker 1: I'm sure, but this one, I've now, we knew this
- 12:57Speaker 1: day would come. But Tom zam of Sandoval, who am
- 13:01Speaker 1: I am? I am my chin vander Pump At this point,
- 13:05Speaker 1: I'm like Tom Zunde all, Tom Sandoval's assistant has a
- 13:12Speaker 1: podcast and she talks about intercepting mail in the SA.
- 13:19Speaker 2: So she has her own podcast, not like she was
- 13:22Speaker 2: just on somebody's podcast.
- 13:23Speaker 1: She has her own podcast called I signed an NDA.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Clearly it worked. Yeah, So what are the exact rules
- 13:34Speaker 1: of an NDA? Oh? Okay, I don't know.
- 13:37Speaker 2: It's I don't know. It depends on what's in the language.
- 13:40Speaker 2: I mean, I don't Could you get me a copy
- 13:41Speaker 2: of that specific Nda, so we can see if she's
- 13:44Speaker 2: breaking it.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I mean, I'll ask Anne, but either way, what she's
- 13:47Speaker 1: saying is, bitch, I don't work on Saturdays. Fans saw
- 13:51Speaker 1: Tom Sandival's assistant and Maddox thrown in the middle of
- 13:55Speaker 1: his breakup with Ariana. As revealed on the premiere, Arianna
- 13:58Speaker 1: got her hands on plenty of the letters in pwckages,
- 14:00Speaker 1: which didn't surprise Anne. My response to that is, bitch,
- 14:04Speaker 1: I don't work on Saturdays. I'm your girl Friday, but
- 14:06Speaker 1: I don't work on Saturdays. That's the end of that.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Anne had already exposed she'd been working for Sandoval when
- 14:11Speaker 1: his month's long affair with Rachel was exposed in March
- 14:14Speaker 1: twenty twenty three. I was crushed because as a personal assistant,
- 14:17Speaker 1: you become part of your boss's lives. And it's no
- 14:19Speaker 1: secret that I dearly love Ariana. She's incredible and so cool,
- 14:23Speaker 1: Anne said, Anna, seemingly hinting at recently resigning from her job.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Was on the ball, which she didn't confirm, but Schwartz
- 14:31Speaker 1: casually mentioned it on a separate podcast earlier that week.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Before she quit, she filmed several scenes for season eleven allegedly. Okay.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I think it's funny that she said, bitch, I don't
- 14:43Speaker 2: work on Saturdays, because when I watch her on the show,
- 14:45Speaker 2: she's very meek, and you know, like when she asked
- 14:50Speaker 2: Arian a question, she's.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Like, hey, is it okay if he has some friends over?
- 14:56Speaker 2: And then on her podcast she's like, bitch, I don't
- 14:58Speaker 2: work on Saturdays.
- 15:00Speaker 1: What happened? Her and Jacks have a long calm they do.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I mean, damn, it was a big energy like, bitch,
- 15:09Speaker 1: I don't work on Saturdays. But also, what are like
- 15:13Speaker 1: Tom's primary days of work? I'm confused, Like it's Monday,
- 15:17Speaker 1: a big hustle day for Tom.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Well, Tom is in a band, right, I mean yes,
- 15:25Speaker 2: so clearly he's just working at night.
- 15:28Speaker 1: But I guess he can't get the mail during the
- 15:29Speaker 1: day because he's asleep. We true. I mean it would
- 15:33Speaker 1: also be hard to know when the mail man is
- 15:35Speaker 1: coming because you have a white noise machine in the
- 15:38Speaker 1: middle of your freaking hallway. Yeah. Anyways, right, we'll get
- 15:45Speaker 1: into that later. Our next headline is involving our friend
- 15:47Speaker 1: Alex Baskin. I don't know about this, Alex, he says,
- 15:53Speaker 1: I don't know either. Alex Alex, this feels like a stretch.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I feel like he said during an episode of Give
- 15:59Speaker 1: Them Law that La La asked him what he meant
- 16:03Speaker 1: when he referred to Scandval as the worst thing that
- 16:05Speaker 1: ever happened to vander Pump Rules, and he says, contrary
- 16:09Speaker 1: to what certain people in certain quarters have said of
- 16:12Speaker 1: that controversy, saving the show, the truth is the truth,
- 16:16Speaker 1: the truth truth, The truth is. We were making a
- 16:18Speaker 1: great show in season ten. In fact, we had made
- 16:21Speaker 1: a great season. It was a bounce back season and
- 16:23Speaker 1: the audience was into it. Baskin noted that expectations for
- 16:27Speaker 1: future seasons are too high. I felt like there's a
- 16:29Speaker 1: danger in burning too fast and too brightly, he said.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I also thought that is one thing to happen to
- 16:35Speaker 1: this group that has threatened to tear everyone apart. Everything
- 16:38Speaker 1: else has been something we were able to overcome. And
- 16:41Speaker 1: I didn't know that we could put the pieces back
- 16:43Speaker 1: together with this group, who is now in a situation
- 16:47Speaker 1: where they are looking for places to live and need money.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure at some point they will put the
- 16:55Speaker 1: group back together in order to save their jobs.
- 16:57Speaker 2: On this she's talking about Rachel Roquel. Do you think
- 17:00Speaker 2: she would come back. Is that what you're saying?
- 17:02Speaker 1: Oh, I think Rachel, especially now that Tom has is
- 17:07Speaker 1: dating leon Leonardo crappy. She has good taste and men.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Yes, Leonardo DiCaprio's ex. We're she clearly aged out with Leonardo.
- 17:19Speaker 2: He's like, oh, you're twenty five, sorry, done right to standable.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Yeah. So I'm guessing that we will never see even
- 17:27Speaker 1: though we're seeing Tom talk about how he still loves
- 17:29Speaker 1: Rachel and he stopped drinking for Rachel because she checked
- 17:32Speaker 1: into the treatment center, him dating publicly Victoria Lee Robinson.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I feel like it's probably going to put a damper
- 17:41Speaker 1: on that, which leads us to our next high headline.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Rachel Levis hated Tom sand of all reducing her to
- 17:50Speaker 1: a temptress, says she called her trauma therapy stay selfish.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Levis said she has no question that Tom and I
- 17:59Speaker 1: will never ever be friends again after his guilt tripping
- 18:03Speaker 1: over her decision to seek out mental health care and
- 18:05Speaker 1: a facility he compared to assisted living, and oh man,
- 18:09Speaker 1: the amount of times that Tom called me selfish while
- 18:11Speaker 1: I was in the meadows and I was running away
- 18:14Speaker 1: from my problems and I'm depending on this place that's
- 18:16Speaker 1: basically an assisted living facility, you know, like really guilt
- 18:20Speaker 1: tripping me and saying like I left him to deal
- 18:22Speaker 1: with all the fodder. I'm just running, She alleged. You know,
- 18:25Speaker 1: that just reveals the type of person he is. And
- 18:28Speaker 1: there's no question that Tom and I will never ever
- 18:31Speaker 1: We're never ever getting back together, ever, ever, ever where.
- 18:36Speaker 1: She also discussed her recent appearance his recent appearance on
- 18:40Speaker 1: The Vile Files, which congratulations to Nick, he just had
- 18:44Speaker 1: a baby and so cute River is adorable. Congratulations, while
- 18:51Speaker 1: she said that she hated what he said comparing me
- 18:54Speaker 1: to Darcy Sears and Varsity Blues, she shared, which, how
- 18:58Speaker 1: does she do with that movie? I know I was
- 19:01Speaker 1: that's definitely right in nineties. But did she I want
- 19:04Speaker 1: to know did she do the whipped cream bikini? Did she?
- 19:07Speaker 2: And if she did, Darcy Sears, did that's how she
- 19:11Speaker 2: seduced him? I'm pretty did she put cherries on her
- 19:14Speaker 2: nipples or did make No, there were cherries. There was
- 19:17Speaker 2: the whipped cream bikini and the cherries on the nipple. Actually,
- 19:20Speaker 2: my fifteen year anniversary is coming up this month, so
- 19:23Speaker 2: maybe I should do the whipped cream bikini with the cherries.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Please save Tamra's bathtub scene and do that on camera
- 19:31Speaker 1: so I can handle you till the end of time.
- 19:34Speaker 2: I think it would be epic. Shane would literally turn
- 19:38Speaker 2: around and walk away.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Well, no, he would not. He would He would be
- 19:44Speaker 1: Shane that one night when he was trying to get
- 19:45Speaker 1: it in the what was he trying to get what
- 19:48Speaker 1: in the what it was trying to get his action
- 19:50Speaker 1: in the pooper? Scooper, Oh, that's right, he forgot he
- 19:53Speaker 1: was Mike. But She's said the way that he was
- 20:01Speaker 1: describing it really made it sound like I was the
- 20:04Speaker 1: temptress and that it was like this seduction that he
- 20:06Speaker 1: fell into. She added, I can take ownership of my
- 20:09Speaker 1: part in that, because yeah, it was a choice that
- 20:11Speaker 1: we made every day and it was a really bad decision.
- 20:14Speaker 1: But it just felt like he was putting a lot
- 20:16Speaker 1: of fault on me, saying it was my fault for
- 20:18Speaker 1: seducing him, which I don't think is right.
- 20:21Speaker 2: I want to know how they had sex the first time, Like,
- 20:23Speaker 2: don't you want to hear that story, like how it happened.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Well, we know a little bit of how it happened.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Allegedly was the night that Ariana's dog died. They were
- 20:34Speaker 1: at an all guys night and she decided to show
- 20:39Speaker 1: up with another girl that was on last season and
- 20:42Speaker 1: her name was Charlie. It was like her partner in
- 20:44Speaker 1: crime until they had a falling out and that was
- 20:48Speaker 1: supposedly the night and they went back to it. That
- 20:52Speaker 1: could be wrong, but they went back to his house
- 20:54Speaker 1: with Tom Schwartz. They got in the Jacuzi and then
- 20:57Speaker 1: she slept over and allegedly had sex. I say, but
- 21:01Speaker 1: I want details, like who kissed you first?
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yeah, Like that's what I mean, Like I want, like
- 21:06Speaker 2: fly on the wall details of how it went down.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Well, I don't think. I mean, I think if I
- 21:15Speaker 1: were to be a guessing, a guessing kind of gal
- 21:17Speaker 1: and not to know at all, my guess would be
- 21:20Speaker 1: that there had been some texting flirtation going on for
- 21:23Speaker 1: quite some time. Oh wait, it was sex in the car. Oh,
- 21:27Speaker 1: sex in the car that night allegedly. And then when
- 21:31Speaker 1: did they get in the hot sub first and then
- 21:32Speaker 1: get in a car. That must have been the second time,
- 21:35Speaker 1: because there was a time that Rachel was caught or
- 21:38Speaker 1: it was an additional time. One time was right after
- 21:40Speaker 1: Ariana's dog passed. Away, and the next time was right
- 21:43Speaker 1: after her grandmother. So so they just.
- 21:47Speaker 2: So they like to wait until she has death in
- 21:49Speaker 2: her family and then they get it on.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Yeah, so essentially death was sex. But I do I'm
- 21:59Speaker 1: not because Tom is just really hard to watch sometimes,
- 22:05Speaker 1: But I do think it is two person. If you're cheating,
- 22:08Speaker 1: it's on both people. And she was in a place
- 22:12Speaker 1: where she knew what kind of show she was on.
- 22:16Speaker 1: I'm sure she had seen it, and all of them
- 22:18Speaker 1: have had sex with each other. But also, when one
- 22:21Speaker 1: person goes away, I'm saying, yes, you should go get
- 22:24Speaker 1: treatment if you need it, definitely, But when one person
- 22:26Speaker 1: goes away and the other person is left to hold everything, Yeah,
- 22:31Speaker 1: how much accountability do you really think Tom Sandoval is
- 22:34Speaker 1: going to take in this? When you're gone, you don't
- 22:36Speaker 1: have access to a phone.
- 22:38Speaker 2: And he could have gone to treatment too, I mean,
- 22:42Speaker 2: he could have gone to like sex Addicts Anonymous or something.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I mean, he could have that would have probably made
- 22:49Speaker 1: him more likable. But I don't think financially, we hear
- 22:53Speaker 1: this episode that he needed to make money, like I
- 22:59Speaker 1: think Rachel had her family to fall back on financially,
- 23:05Speaker 1: and going and getting help from this treatment facility, and
- 23:09Speaker 1: Tom saying, I can't even pay my bills. I'm moving
- 23:11Speaker 1: five hundred dollars around from here and there because I'm
- 23:15Speaker 1: essentially paying all the bills for me and Ariana.
- 23:17Speaker 2: But is he paying? Here's where I got confused. Why
- 23:21Speaker 2: is he paying all? First of all, they move into
- 23:23Speaker 2: this house. It's very expensive. It's a two million dollar house,
- 23:25Speaker 2: so I don't even know what their mortgage is.
- 23:27Speaker 1: That's a lot. Yeah, And then.
- 23:30Speaker 2: He talks about how he's moving money around to pay
- 23:34Speaker 2: to cover everything. Clearly, and they're not splitting it. He's
- 23:36Speaker 2: covering Everything's assuming what he's saying is true. But why
- 23:40Speaker 2: is she not paying the bills? Why is she not
- 23:41Speaker 2: paying half the mortgage?
- 23:43Speaker 1: I think any chance, my guess would be any chance
- 23:45Speaker 1: she has an opportunity to stick it to him and
- 23:48Speaker 1: make him stress. I feel like she ends up paying
- 23:51Speaker 1: the bills, but like she waits and she does things
- 23:54Speaker 1: to stress him out. You know, she's angry, and when
- 23:58Speaker 1: you're scorned, you do whatever. But what do we think
- 24:02Speaker 1: this is season eleven? What do we think Tom's actually
- 24:05Speaker 1: making this season? Because it's got to be different than
- 24:07Speaker 1: a Housewives scale, because they still glam themselves. Yeah, I
- 24:12Speaker 1: know that.
- 24:15Speaker 2: I was like, oh, I mean, I don't know what
- 24:21Speaker 2: they I don't have any idea. It is season eleven,
- 24:24Speaker 2: so he's been on TV a long time. Plus he
- 24:26Speaker 2: just filmed that show whatever he was doing in New Zealand,
- 24:29Speaker 2: and he filmed Special Forces Mass Singer. So, like we're talking,
- 24:34Speaker 2: he's got to have a decent amount of money. But
- 24:36Speaker 2: he also funds his band like this, So the band
- 24:41Speaker 2: isn't really bringing in a lot of money. It's costing
- 24:44Speaker 2: him money. Well, I think it brings him money to
- 24:46Speaker 2: be a rock star. Well, I mean I.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Think he gets paid, but I don't. I do know
- 24:52Speaker 1: my dad who is you know, hate to brag, but
- 24:55Speaker 1: a legitimate touring right, who's your dad? I don't remember.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Oh I know, never mentions it, right, but he can say.
- 25:03Speaker 1: He will say, like, touring is not where you make
- 25:07Speaker 1: your most money, right, It's so you're just out there.
- 25:11Speaker 1: You're out there, you're getting your name out there, you're
- 25:12Speaker 1: making people happy, you're hearing the new they're hearing the
- 25:15Speaker 1: new songs, they're doing whatever. So I mean that's sold
- 25:18Speaker 1: out huge auditoriums. And you know, I don't know that
- 25:23Speaker 1: Tom's band is necessarily that situation, and he's already said that.
- 25:27Speaker 1: So I do know. We've we watched last season. Tom
- 25:30Speaker 1: like having to pay his bandmates doing this. It's not
- 25:33Speaker 1: like it's all like a package deal. So Billy Leave
- 25:44Speaker 1: photographed at Tom Sandoval's home after arian and Maddox claimed
- 25:48Speaker 1: she moved in, Billy Lee was spotted outside. So arian
- 25:53Speaker 1: is in New York. She's saying she went to New
- 25:59Speaker 1: York and and Billy Lee has now moved in with Tom.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Lee's friendship with Sandoval has raised eyebrows with vander Pump
- 26:08Speaker 1: Rules viewers for years, with Lala Kent and Sheinachet even
- 26:12Speaker 1: suggesting Lee and Sandoval had hooked up in the past.
- 26:15Speaker 1: One month after news of the affair broke, Lee claims
- 26:18Speaker 1: she can support and be there for both parties instead
- 26:21Speaker 1: of choosing between Sandoval and Maddox. Well, clearly she made
- 26:24Speaker 1: a choice when she moved into the house while Marianna
- 26:27Speaker 1: was away. I feel like that was a definite choice made.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I mean, I couldn't move into somebody's house.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Knowing that two people own the home, Like if you
- 26:35Speaker 2: go away, I'm not going to go move into your house.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I mean it would be a little weird if I
- 26:40Speaker 1: came home and you had moved in, right, But all
- 26:46Speaker 1: of it is just so messy. It's so messy.
- 26:50Speaker 2: You know why it's also so messy is because they
- 26:52Speaker 2: have this court hearing in what June too. She wants
- 26:55Speaker 2: to force the sale of the home. But all I
- 26:57Speaker 2: can think about the whole time I watched this episode
- 26:59Speaker 2: is how messy everything is because she's not paying bills.
- 27:03Speaker 2: He has to cover bills. This person apparently moved in
- 27:07Speaker 2: and should be paying rent. I doubt she's paying rent.
- 27:09Speaker 2: I mean it's a mess. This is a mess, but
- 27:12Speaker 2: no one else is messy. Ari on his bedroom, Yes.
- 27:17Speaker 1: I tell you. Every time I see it, I feel
- 27:18Speaker 1: like I've watched an episode of Hoarders. It really gives
- 27:23Speaker 1: me anxiety. I mean anxiety too. I mean it's getting
- 27:27Speaker 1: messier as the episodes go on, But the rest of
- 27:29Speaker 1: the house looks immaculate. So I'm confused. If she just
- 27:37Speaker 1: kept like putting her whole entire life in there, and
- 27:39Speaker 1: things would normally be other locations, but because she doesn't
- 27:42Speaker 1: want to be outside of her room, now it's all
- 27:44Speaker 1: but they're like clothes and stuff. Well, it's it's just
- 27:48Speaker 1: boxes and clothes and crap everywhere. I couldn't live like that.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I would go insane.
- 27:53Speaker 2: I mean, even if I didn't want to run into
- 27:54Speaker 2: him in the hallways or the kitchen or whatever, I
- 27:57Speaker 2: still would need an organized space with in my own space,
- 28:01Speaker 2: Like I don't get it.
- 28:03Speaker 1: No, the day after I get home from a trip,
- 28:05Speaker 1: when all my stuff is in suitcases and I need
- 28:07Speaker 1: to like put everything away is like the most anxiety
- 28:10Speaker 1: driven day just seeing it all around and needing to
- 28:12Speaker 1: get washed and cleaned. And it's a lot for me.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Maybe so you and Arianna could never live together? No,
- 28:21Speaker 1: or I mean I don't think I could live with
- 28:22Speaker 1: Tom either, or Billy Lee or the band manager or
- 28:31Speaker 1: Anne who brought in baby shower him? Do you like
- 28:38Speaker 1: the Blues? But before I mean, we're like, before we
- 28:45Speaker 1: get into the episode, as you've already talked about the
- 28:47Speaker 1: whole episode, but vander from Villa trailer reveals physical altercations,
- 28:52Speaker 1: steamy hookups, and an unhappy Lisa. Don't get sloppy. It's
- 28:58Speaker 1: a People magazine article that I'm a filled reality series
- 29:01Speaker 1: set and Lisa vander Pump's luxury French chateau is coming
- 29:04Speaker 1: to Hulu. This spring. Lisa vander Pumps expects nothing but
- 29:08Speaker 1: perfection at her exclusive French chateau, but her staff members
- 29:12Speaker 1: have other ideas. While the staff members attempt to meet
- 29:15Speaker 1: vander Pump's expectations and upcoming unscripted docudrama, they also prove
- 29:20Speaker 1: there's no shortage of drama happening behind the scenes. In
- 29:23Speaker 1: the trailer, We'll just have to see, We'll have to
- 29:26Speaker 1: see if this is going to be another vand of
- 29:27Speaker 1: Pump dogs of it all, or if this is really
- 29:29Speaker 1: going to deliver. Let's hope that it does. You want
- 29:33Speaker 1: it to deliver. Yeah, I want any like I if
- 29:37Speaker 1: you're going to do a show, and let's have the
- 29:38Speaker 1: show be good. Yeah. Even if I'm not somebody's biggest fan,
- 29:42Speaker 1: I still want them to succeed.
- 29:43Speaker 2: I don't need Well, that's very very supportive of you.
- 29:46Speaker 1: You want Vicki to succeed. I would love Vicki to
- 29:50Speaker 1: succeed so that she could stop trying to go after
- 29:53Speaker 1: every other human in her life. That does everything a
- 30:01Speaker 1: lot easier. Maybe she just succeeded in some friendships. Things
- 30:05Speaker 1: would go a little bit smoother. Okay, so now we're
- 30:09Speaker 1: officially that episode two. Tom is back from New Zealand
- 30:13Speaker 1: after filming Special Forces. Things are not okay between Tom
- 30:17Speaker 1: Sandval and Tom Schwartz. Schworts went on Jack's podcast and
- 30:20Speaker 1: talked shit about him, so Sandoval feels betrayed. I don't
- 30:27Speaker 1: did you think that, like Schwartz was really talking shit
- 30:30Speaker 1: or he was just like I've been in the middle
- 30:32Speaker 1: of this for so long. No, I didn't think Schwartz
- 30:35Speaker 1: was talking shit.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I felt like Schwartz was just I mean, he's allowed
- 30:40Speaker 2: to have an opinion about what he went through. I mean,
- 30:43Speaker 2: what's he supposed to say, Like it was great, it
- 30:45Speaker 2: was amazing. I mean, the business was affected, and you know,
- 30:50Speaker 2: people are writing horrible reviews and he's trying to deal
- 30:52Speaker 2: with the restaurant bar and you know, Tom I know
- 30:56Speaker 2: where to be found, and I feel like he's allowed
- 30:58Speaker 2: to have an opinion Shorts.
- 31:00Speaker 1: You can tell every time he's filming he's true in
- 31:02Speaker 1: her They're like bloody nubs. At this point, he's obviously
- 31:05Speaker 1: stressed out. He needs a prozac, Like stat Well last
- 31:10Speaker 1: reunion he brought Xanax or Watch What Happens Live clearly
- 31:14Speaker 1: clearly he needs it. But it starts off with Ann
- 31:20Speaker 1: or Anne or letting Arianna know that it's Tom's birthday
- 31:25Speaker 1: and he wants to have a party and tells Arianna
- 31:29Speaker 1: I he'll put her up in a nice place. I
- 31:31Speaker 1: don't understand.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Why did she not take up the nice hotel room.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I mean, have you seen her bedroom? I would take
- 31:37Speaker 2: the nice hotel room. It would be like bids get messy.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I was like, damn, I would want to move out
- 31:43Speaker 2: of that bedroom and have a nice hotel room that's
- 31:45Speaker 2: clean with some room service.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Yeah. And especially once we see her scene with Laala
- 31:50Speaker 1: where she says that they're always paying for places for
- 31:53Speaker 1: her and her boyfriend to stay at because they don't
- 31:56Speaker 1: stay at the house. I'm like, what, listen, if Edwin
- 32:02Speaker 1: wanted to have a Super Bowl party and would put
- 32:04Speaker 1: me up in a hotel room, you would take it.
- 32:06Speaker 1: I would be like I would be in a dead
- 32:08Speaker 1: run there, like wiving through this rain.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:11Speaker 2: I got it met too. But I guess the difference
- 32:13Speaker 2: is you don't hate Edwin at least not today currently.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Right. No, I don't hate him today. I mean tomorrow
- 32:18Speaker 1: it could change, but today I love him. But he
- 32:21Speaker 1: also is out of town right now, and I'm all
- 32:24Speaker 1: right with it. Yeah, I think that's the way to
- 32:28Speaker 1: a healthy marriage. Is a lot of time apart. But
- 32:32Speaker 1: this episode, you can see Anne is deciding it's time
- 32:36Speaker 1: to upload her resume. She's like, let me get this
- 32:39Speaker 1: LinkedIn figured out. I'm done. I need a new job.
- 32:44Speaker 2: She's like, I didn't know I was gonna have to
- 32:46Speaker 2: blow up balloons. She's like, not part of the job description.
- 32:50Speaker 2: She's like, I didn't.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Realize that I'm being an assistant meant letting your dogs
- 32:55Speaker 1: go out potty. I mean there's text messages when they're
- 32:59Speaker 1: walking out of the room. I'm coming down to let
- 33:02Speaker 1: the dog out. Then she asked, Okay, no problem, he's
- 33:05Speaker 1: in the gym, Like is a shit ass job? Is
- 33:09Speaker 1: community job?
- 33:10Speaker 2: That's terrible? That's like, that's like you're just like a
- 33:12Speaker 2: kid trying to coordinate mom and dad when they're in
- 33:15Speaker 2: the middle of a divorce and you're you're trying to
- 33:17Speaker 2: like be nice to both sides and figure it out.
- 33:20Speaker 2: I mean, and she gets paid to do that. Like
- 33:22Speaker 2: that's terrible. Well, I see why does he need an
- 33:26Speaker 2: assistant to just is that he needs an assistant just
- 33:29Speaker 2: to communicate with Arianna?
- 33:31Speaker 1: Well, if he was looking for a mediator. He probably
- 33:34Speaker 1: could have picked a more forceful one, like bitch, she
- 33:39Speaker 1: doesn't get them on Saturday. I guess she was there
- 33:43Speaker 1: before the breakup, so who knows she didn't sign up
- 33:48Speaker 1: for this. I guess because she was already doing the job.
- 33:51Speaker 1: But you know, if you're going to go work for
- 33:53Speaker 1: Tom Sandaba, all what you're signing up for, I'm sorry
- 33:55Speaker 1: you just do Yeah, just like you know, if you're
- 33:58Speaker 1: gonna come work for me, I'm gonna be type A
- 34:00Speaker 1: controlling all of the things. You no, I know, what
- 34:04Speaker 1: do you like to work for? Emily? Probably the same
- 34:06Speaker 1: as you I was Beach, I like doalcile flower. Yeah,
- 34:12Speaker 1: I'm a type A for sure. Well, then, after ten years,
- 34:16Speaker 1: Lisa has decided to close Pump. Lisa says it's very bittersweet,
- 34:20Speaker 1: but the rent is going up and Ken is looking
- 34:22Speaker 1: to retire. Lisa says, if they take it on for
- 34:26Speaker 1: another ten years, Ken will be in his eighties working.
- 34:29Speaker 1: But now I'm confused because why do they need to
- 34:31Speaker 1: close Pump but they're opening the French chateau.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Well, it's confluent. Is Ken at the French chatsat or
- 34:39Speaker 2: did he stay home? Was he taking care of Jiggy
- 34:43Speaker 2: number three. I don't know was he working at pump anyway,
- 34:50Speaker 2: It's unclear.
- 34:51Speaker 1: But my favorite part is that Lisa's hairdresser asking what
- 34:55Speaker 1: she wants to do with her hair, as if it
- 34:57Speaker 1: hasn't been the same since in nineteen eighty two. That's Patrick.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Did you know Patrick used to do Gina's hair?
- 35:04Speaker 2: Well, that tracks just for like the first season.
- 35:09Speaker 1: I think he did her, uh, her hair for the
- 35:12Speaker 1: first season. Oh, I don't know that I would put
- 35:16Speaker 1: either of those hairs on my resume. This is coming
- 35:18Speaker 1: from this hair right now. Yeah, you shouldn't really talk
- 35:21Speaker 1: right now. Listen. I don't really have but nobody did
- 35:25Speaker 1: my hair today. If it was done, you've got some
- 35:27Speaker 1: regrowth going on too. I have read with the second
- 35:31Speaker 1: I get my hair colored. I had like dark hair
- 35:33Speaker 1: and then I bleach it out. And you know, I mean,
- 35:37Speaker 1: I'm not shaming anyone's hair, but I laughing at that resume.
- 35:42Speaker 1: It's as good as Anne's. Oh, here's another good job. Jason,
- 35:48Speaker 1: Tom's friend and manager of the band Yeah comes Over,
- 35:55Speaker 1: says Tom has lost a lot of long term friends
- 35:58Speaker 1: since the scandabal bro and Jason has stuck by his side.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Jason asked Tom if he's heard from Keel slash Rachel.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Tom said he hasn't heard from her in a few
- 36:07Speaker 1: weeks and is still very much in love with her.
- 36:10Speaker 1: He wants to give their relationship a real chance. Tom
- 36:13Speaker 1: tells Jason that Ariana said he couldn't have people over.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Tom wonders if they could compromise and have everyone out
- 36:19Speaker 1: at midnight. He has an send a text. Anne has
- 36:22Speaker 1: fast thumbs and gets out too quick. But know what
- 36:28Speaker 1: I want to know for real? Yeah, what Anne is
- 36:31Speaker 1: texting to her actual friends or her co host on
- 36:34Speaker 1: the podcast when all this shit. She's like, this job,
- 36:40Speaker 1: that's what she's texting. Yeah, She's like, I'm blowing up
- 36:48Speaker 1: balloons and picking up poop and getting male with lightning
- 36:53Speaker 1: bolts on it. My life becomes I got to listen
- 36:56Speaker 1: to a white noise machine. I'm going in. I went
- 37:01Speaker 1: to Harvard. She's like, that's it. I'm getting my own podcast.
- 37:10Speaker 1: I'm going to do something and bring my ah. But
- 37:15Speaker 1: this podcast name should be poor Anne. This episode, then
- 37:21Speaker 1: we get to Ariana telling Lala that Tom is trying
- 37:24Speaker 1: to have a party at the house. Lala says, from
- 37:27Speaker 1: a logical standpoint, he can't have a party at the house.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Laala asked if it would be easier to move out.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Lala's pretty much asking all the questions I feel like
- 37:35Speaker 1: we would be asking. See I am Laala, Like when
- 37:37Speaker 1: Lala comes onto the scene, I'm like, yes, thank you,
- 37:41Speaker 1: because these are the questions I would be asking, like
- 37:44Speaker 1: why can't he have a party? It's his house too,
- 37:46Speaker 1: Why can't you compromise? Why aren't you moving out?
- 37:50Speaker 2: These are the questions I want to hear answers, sue,
- 37:52Speaker 2: thank you, Laala.
- 37:54Speaker 1: And especially if Ariana is in a place with the
- 37:57Speaker 1: new boyfriend who I won't be able to remember name
- 38:00Speaker 1: until we actually see him on our screens. You're a
- 38:03Speaker 1: visual You're a visual person. I'm a visual person, so
- 38:06Speaker 1: it's like I need the constant visual But that his
- 38:11Speaker 1: name's David. It's Dan, it's Dan. Clearly I'm a visual
- 38:17Speaker 1: person too, so Dan, especially when she says that for
- 38:22Speaker 1: the first time ever, she is considering wanting to have
- 38:25Speaker 1: children and she feels like Dan would be this partner,
- 38:29Speaker 1: and all of these things, like if you are this
- 38:31Speaker 1: type of in love with another person, I'm not saying
- 38:35Speaker 1: you even need like to give up any of your
- 38:38Speaker 1: rights to the house, but you could still move out. Yeah.
- 38:42Speaker 2: I mean, I assume her attorney adviser not to move
- 38:45Speaker 2: out because it looks like she abandoned the property.
- 38:48Speaker 1: So I know that's why she's staying.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I get that, But I just feel like, maybe if
- 38:53Speaker 2: she like letting him have a party, maybe think of
- 38:55Speaker 2: it like this. If she let him have a party
- 38:58Speaker 2: and said, Okay, cool, no problem, if she gives a little,
- 39:02Speaker 2: then maybe there's the opportunity to have a conversation where
- 39:04Speaker 2: she's like, hey, let's figure out the house situation. Maybe
- 39:07Speaker 2: we don't have to pay attorneys. Like if if everybody
- 39:10Speaker 2: just gives a little, then he'll give a little. But
- 39:13Speaker 2: when you're just like, no, you can't have people over,
- 39:16Speaker 2: then he's going to be like you, I'm not going
- 39:17Speaker 2: to sell the house.
- 39:18Speaker 1: So well, of course that's not gonna happen, Emily. That's
- 39:21Speaker 1: called growth, and that is clearly not. But you can
- 39:28Speaker 1: as this conversation continues to go on, you can see
- 39:31Speaker 1: the moment in ari on his eyes when she realizes
- 39:33Speaker 1: La La is playing the audience's voice this season. She's
- 39:37Speaker 1: like shit, yeah, Like she's like, damn it. She's like,
- 39:42Speaker 1: if I know Lala was doing this, I would have
- 39:45Speaker 1: blown out my hair today. She was like, I was
- 39:48Speaker 1: hoping the scene wasn't even gonna get shown. She's like,
- 39:51Speaker 1: listen when I when they said we're gonna go get
- 39:54Speaker 1: a smoothie, I thought this was going to be a
- 39:55Speaker 1: one and done camp. This is b roll, but it's not.
- 40:01Speaker 1: But what I can realize with this relationship, and I
- 40:04Speaker 1: know you didn't watch last season, but you see how
- 40:07Speaker 1: hard Lalla rode for Ariana last season. And I'm not
- 40:10Speaker 1: saying that she's not now, but what you do see
- 40:12Speaker 1: is how awkward the friendship is between Lala and Ariana.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Like they don't know each other, Like they don't have
- 40:19Speaker 1: like a commonality.
- 40:21Speaker 3: There's it's very uncomfortable, it is, But I do I
- 40:25Speaker 3: do appreciate that La La asks the questions that everybody's
- 40:28Speaker 3: sitting there thinking, so, yeah, but.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Why do you think they're having such a hard time communicating?
- 40:34Speaker 1: They're just different. I think they're just two totally different people.
- 40:38Speaker 1: And that's what happens when you have a cast, right,
- 40:40Speaker 1: I mean, think about housewives, like all these women, I mean,
- 40:43Speaker 1: would you necessarily be friends with them in real life?
- 40:46Speaker 1: Because you got to get like your logical one, and
- 40:49Speaker 1: then you have to get like, you know, the messy one.
- 40:52Speaker 1: And so I think it's the same with Vanner Pump.
- 40:55Speaker 1: You have in order for it to work, you have
- 40:56Speaker 1: to have a lot of different personalities. So well, I mean,
- 41:01Speaker 1: who is the one on your.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Cast Emily, Like, who's well okay? So you have like
- 41:08Speaker 2: the relatable one like Gina, and then you have Heather,
- 41:12Speaker 2: which is like the opulence, and then you have I
- 41:15Speaker 2: don't know what I am. I guess I'm just the one.
- 41:17Speaker 2: I'm just the one that always asks the questions that
- 41:18Speaker 2: nobody else does.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I do that. You're the Lallas, so you are kind
- 41:23Speaker 1: of like her. I can I can be all right
- 41:25Speaker 1: with that. Then we see Lisa and Can arrive at
- 41:35Speaker 1: the pump closing party, Katie, Sheena, Arianna, and Tom Schwartz arrive.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Lisa asks Tom how his business is going. And at
- 41:45Speaker 1: this point this is where you see the cast divide,
- 41:50Speaker 1: which I don't like. Just like, take a breath and
- 41:53Speaker 1: just talk to short shorts shorts, right, but why are
- 41:57Speaker 1: we putting like shorts didn't do this. Shorts didn't do this.
- 42:02Speaker 1: If you're going to go to these group events, then
- 42:04Speaker 1: just go with the flow. Yeah, go with the flow,
- 42:08Speaker 1: Go with the flow. Speaking of speaking of flow, Sina
- 42:14Speaker 1: goes into the music studio to record a Good as
- 42:16Speaker 1: Gold remix for the Emo Night. Brock says he loves
- 42:20Speaker 1: this version of his wife and she was made for
- 42:22Speaker 1: the spotlight. But then this next scene was a little
- 42:27Speaker 1: this next thing couldn't oh oh, I could not watch
- 42:29Speaker 1: that scene. I had to, like, I had to like
- 42:32Speaker 1: pause it because my kids walked in the room. I
- 42:33Speaker 1: was like, ah no, it was like very when they're
- 42:39Speaker 1: talking about the the O c D and then rock
- 42:43Speaker 1: starts to like come for her, and then the mom
- 42:45Speaker 1: steps in. I'm like, wait, I was talking about the
- 42:47Speaker 1: music video.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Sorry, Oh you were talking about the porn the pan Yeah. No, yeah, yeah,
- 42:53Speaker 2: I was talking about when they did like the flashback
- 42:55Speaker 2: to her music video and I was like, oh, hotly, crap,
- 42:59Speaker 2: what's the thing happened?
- 43:00Speaker 1: What is on my screen? I had HBO after Dark?
- 43:04Speaker 1: What the hell? You're like? Hold on? And I didn't. Okay, yes,
- 43:07Speaker 1: there's like half flapping going. You're like, I think she
- 43:12Speaker 1: made out with that guy too on like a past season.
- 43:15Speaker 1: I mean Brett, his name is Brett, Brett was hot,
- 43:17Speaker 1: but he was he was very hot, but yeah, that
- 43:20Speaker 1: was uncomfortable. I was very uncomfortable watching. And I love
- 43:25Speaker 1: this side of Sheena. She's a little star. It was
- 43:28Speaker 1: almost as cringe as the scene with them talking about
- 43:32Speaker 1: the OCD where you can tell Brock has gone off
- 43:35Speaker 1: script and kind of called Sheena out on some things,
- 43:39Speaker 1: and it like, it's hard because I have been where
- 43:44Speaker 1: Sena has been with that OCD, postpartum OCD and anxiety,
- 43:49Speaker 1: and so I feel her Mine wasn't about dying when
- 43:54Speaker 1: it comes to the kids are not being able to
- 43:56Speaker 1: be with my kids alone, but mine was about like
- 43:58Speaker 1: scheduling and everything having to be perfect and if it
- 44:01Speaker 1: wasn't perfectly aligned, I made everybody's life living hell. Yeah,
- 44:04Speaker 1: So it's you know, it presents itself in different ways,
- 44:08Speaker 1: but this is the issue. When you hear Brocks stand
- 44:11Speaker 1: up and say those things, I know he's wanting to
- 44:13Speaker 1: help Sheena, but then I also know his history and
- 44:18Speaker 1: then I go down all the rabbit holes and now
- 44:21Speaker 1: you're gonna need to go down Brock's history, all right,
- 44:24Speaker 1: X on that rabbit hole. Okay, so I'm gonna have
- 44:27Speaker 1: to do for next week, all right, Okay?
- 44:30Speaker 2: I felt I did feel like he was very supportive
- 44:32Speaker 2: when she was in the studio and he was like, yeah,
- 44:35Speaker 2: like my wife's a badass, And I was like, that's
- 44:37Speaker 2: so nice, Like he's so he's like her hype man
- 44:40Speaker 2: and like her cheerleader.
- 44:41Speaker 1: That was cool.
- 44:42Speaker 2: But then the scene with the mom in the living
- 44:44Speaker 2: room and the OCD, it took a turn and we
- 44:47Speaker 2: just took a dtour really fast. Well, I think it's
- 44:50Speaker 2: also I don't know. I know you have a good
- 44:52Speaker 2: relationship with Shane's mom, but does she live with you?
- 44:56Speaker 1: No?
- 44:56Speaker 2: No, she lives in a huge mega mansion across Yeah.
- 45:00Speaker 1: So I mean, I don't know if Sheena's mom lives
- 45:03Speaker 1: with them, but I can imagine having somebody's mom around
- 45:09Speaker 1: all of the time, Yeah, having their side, having her back.
- 45:13Speaker 2: Can I ask what was your opinion when they were
- 45:15Speaker 2: kind of arguing a little bit about the OCD and
- 45:18Speaker 2: him wanting her to be able to go out and
- 45:20Speaker 2: leave the child with someone else, and then the mom
- 45:23Speaker 2: got involved. Do you think that a parent should get
- 45:27Speaker 2: involved in that conversation? No, see, I didn't think I
- 45:30Speaker 2: didn't think so either. I to me, I felt like
- 45:33Speaker 2: it was a little out of line. I felt like
- 45:35Speaker 2: she should have let the two of them work it out.
- 45:38Speaker 2: And I understand it's her daughter, since she so she
- 45:40Speaker 2: wants to have her back, But.
- 45:42Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 45:43Speaker 2: I just I felt like in a situation like that,
- 45:45Speaker 2: like it wasn't necessary for her to get involved in that.
- 45:48Speaker 1: What would have made it feel more authentic to me?
- 45:52Speaker 1: I mean, you can tell the mom's getting annoyed in
- 45:54Speaker 1: the moment, stands up for her daughter. But what I
- 45:57Speaker 1: feel like would have happened if it was like Ed's
- 46:00Speaker 1: mom and blah blah blah, you know, like there was
- 46:01Speaker 1: multiple people. I feel like Rock and Sheena could have
- 46:05Speaker 1: had that conversation the mom witnessed it, and then Sheena
- 46:07Speaker 1: and her mom went and had a conversation somewhere else
- 46:10Speaker 1: to talk about Brock's behavior or what Black said and
- 46:13Speaker 1: how it affected her. Right, But the mom getting involved
- 46:16Speaker 1: in the moment, and then the new girl coming over
- 46:19Speaker 1: and being involved too, I was like, this is kind
- 46:21Speaker 1: of a pile on. Yeah, but I mean it's a
- 46:24Speaker 1: challenging issue that everybody goes through, so yes, you need
- 46:27Speaker 1: to see that. And I think they're probably just frustrated
- 46:30Speaker 1: with each other because also, and I love she and
- 46:35Speaker 1: I have spent a lot of time with her. I
- 46:37Speaker 1: really love her. She has so much fun. But I
- 46:40Speaker 1: think your life as a couple changes so much when
- 46:44Speaker 1: you have your first child together. And if you're used
- 46:47Speaker 1: to going and doing all the fun things and partying
- 46:49Speaker 1: and just being NonStop and you're on a television show
- 46:52Speaker 1: and you live into life stops, there's a real wake
- 46:56Speaker 1: up call. Yeah.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Well, I assume that his issue is he misses his
- 46:59Speaker 2: why he misses, And you know, I've always read that
- 47:02Speaker 2: it's health that you have to work on your relationship,
- 47:04Speaker 2: your relationship between mom and dad first, and then it
- 47:08Speaker 2: trickles down into the kids. So I mean, I assume
- 47:12Speaker 2: he's just he just wants to spend alone time with her,
- 47:14Speaker 2: you know. Yeah, And I'm and I think that's what
- 47:18Speaker 2: which isn't coming from a bad place. That's important in
- 47:21Speaker 2: a relationship, but his he may have had a touch
- 47:25Speaker 2: of like the wrong tone to go about it. I think, Well,
- 47:29Speaker 2: that's I was gonna say. The delivery was off. I
- 47:31Speaker 2: think I think the intent behind it was good and
- 47:35Speaker 2: that he wants to spend time with his wife, but
- 47:37Speaker 2: the delivery was off and the mom being there made
- 47:39Speaker 2: it awkward too.
- 47:41Speaker 1: So awkward, But I can't say this. I saw the
- 47:46Speaker 1: mom at a birthday party recently with Summer, and she
- 47:50Speaker 1: is lovely and so nice and said that Sheena and
- 47:54Speaker 1: her they went and got their skin checked, and like, so, yeah,
- 47:57Speaker 1: good good people.
- 47:59Speaker 2: You can you know what, eh, you know, I totally
- 48:01Speaker 2: can tell they have a great relationship. I just wondered,
- 48:03Speaker 2: like what your thought was on that? If what I
- 48:06Speaker 2: would have not wanted my mom to pipe in? Yeah,
- 48:08Speaker 2: I wouldn't have either, but you know, but if it
- 48:10Speaker 2: was Shane's mom, she would have. She would have, you know,
- 48:13Speaker 2: like a Persian mom. If Sane and I were arguing,
- 48:15Speaker 2: she would probably jump.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Right in there and get inside. Yeah. But then we
- 48:20Speaker 1: get to Tom and Tom meet Santoval tell Schwartz that
- 48:24Speaker 1: Shorts that he's sorry for the collateral damage he caused.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Santaval said he had to do it because of his
- 48:28Speaker 1: bank account. I mean, we kind of already talked about this. Obviously,
- 48:31Speaker 1: these two two are going to make up. I mean,
- 48:36Speaker 1: the thing that I can't move away from is something
- 48:38Speaker 1: you actually said yesterday on the group text, which is
- 48:41Speaker 1: we need a flow chart of all of the people
- 48:44Speaker 1: having sex who they've had sex. Was when they cheated, Like,
- 48:48Speaker 1: the fact that this has been magnified to this level
- 48:50Speaker 1: is a lot. Then in the quick scene at James's
- 48:56Speaker 1: house when Ali got chills because James got a text
- 48:58Speaker 1: from Santoval, my birth chart called bullshit? Oh yeah, you
- 49:04Speaker 1: believe that happened in that moment?
- 49:08Speaker 2: Oh no, No, I think she's definitely overplaying that whole
- 49:12Speaker 2: heart and how much she's affected by it and all that.
- 49:16Speaker 1: Yeah, totally. But then I call it bullshit on birth charts.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Let's take like, let's be real, Allie reads mine, and
- 49:30Speaker 1: I say this on maybe she could do a reading
- 49:33Speaker 1: on popping off. We're inviting all the people, So Ali,
- 49:36Speaker 1: will you come to a reading for us? Us? I
- 49:38Speaker 1: want to see if it's bullshit or not. We want
- 49:41Speaker 1: to see what it says. Then Tom's birthday party also
- 49:45Speaker 1: knows the most awkward event of all times, right, I
- 49:49Speaker 1: don't understand why, Like, if you're not drinking, do you
- 49:53Speaker 1: really need to simulate drinking a fake shot? I? Yeah, no,
- 50:00Speaker 1: Well I don't know what sears I guess, but like
- 50:04Speaker 1: who wants the non alcoholic shots? Like, no, if you're
- 50:07Speaker 1: not drinking, don't take a shot. Let's do let's do
- 50:09Speaker 1: something else to celebrate, like maybe sing happy birthday yeah,
- 50:13Speaker 1: or or or have the fun colorful balloons that everyone
- 50:17Speaker 1: could look at him, maybe make like a balloon game.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Maybe maybe do about anything other than have this awkward
- 50:24Speaker 1: small talk conversation with the white noise machine and the
- 50:27Speaker 1: dirty bedrooms. But yeah, James shows up and in a
- 50:33Speaker 1: shocking turn of events that he's awkwarded didn't go well.
- 50:39Speaker 2: No, didn't go well. I like how he's like, who
- 50:43Speaker 2: are all these random people? And then some random guy
- 50:46Speaker 2: comes up to him and talk to him and he's like,
- 50:48Speaker 2: like this guy tries to get involved.
- 50:52Speaker 1: Like I thought he was just gonna have a small talk,
- 50:54Speaker 1: but no, he was talking about how james behavior affected him.
- 50:58Speaker 1: And then they panned to like Tom being like, look
- 51:01Speaker 1: I still have friends, and you like these are Anne's
- 51:04Speaker 1: friends that she might yeah, that's her group chat, but
- 51:11Speaker 1: it's it's a little rough going other than shorts cake
- 51:16Speaker 1: that he brought, even though there was already like sixty
- 51:18Speaker 1: two other cakes.
- 51:20Speaker 2: And but but there's all the flowers. Aren't those the
- 51:23Speaker 2: flowers for Ariana's birthday? So Ariana's birthday must be around
- 51:26Speaker 2: the same.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Time as Tom's or are they apology flowers to Ariana
- 51:32Speaker 1: from who? From Tom? I'm like, no, from like everybody,
- 51:35Speaker 1: Like I'm sorry this happened.
- 51:36Speaker 2: Flowers Like she just gets flowers all the time, from constant,
- 51:41Speaker 2: constant flow of flowers.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I mean, I'm ready, Shane would sheet on me.
- 51:46Speaker 2: I'd be like on Broadway, like I'd be getting money
- 51:50Speaker 2: and flowers and jobs.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Damn, we're just here instead. I'm just here in front
- 51:57Speaker 1: of them. Yeah, last your pink back great well.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Behind me and I'm like, you know, picking up kids
- 52:04Speaker 2: from school and making dinner and remodeling my kitchen and
- 52:08Speaker 2: you know, oh.
- 52:09Speaker 1: By the way, you're right. It probably could have been
- 52:11Speaker 1: from marian his birthday because her birthday is June twenty
- 52:15Speaker 1: fourth and Tom's birthday is July seventh, Which does that
- 52:18Speaker 1: mean they have a similar birth chart? Because it's a similar.
- 52:21Speaker 2: We would have to ask Ali, when is your birthday
- 52:26Speaker 2: January eighteenth? I am a Capricorn, I'm July first, and
- 52:30Speaker 2: I'm a cancer.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Do we get along well capricorn and cancers? I don't know. Alie,
- 52:37Speaker 1: are Emily going to continue a good relationship? Is going
- 52:40Speaker 1: to work?
- 52:40Speaker 2: Now you're asking her to be a fortune teller along
- 52:43Speaker 2: with a birth chart reader. But you're asking a lot
- 52:46Speaker 2: of this girl, and now she's.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Gonna have to train Rachel's dog. He saw so many things.
- 52:51Speaker 1: But so anyways, James comes in, he what is he
- 52:59Speaker 1: even at? Ask if Tom he was apologized for betraying him,
- 53:04Speaker 1: and Sandoval says he was so angry because of that
- 53:08Speaker 1: ship that happened with Kristen, which takes us back to
- 53:11Speaker 1: Jillian seasons ago. James says this is embarrassing and that
- 53:15Speaker 1: Sandoval has a lot of growing up to do. Then,
- 53:18Speaker 1: after he tells him he's got a lot of growing
- 53:20Speaker 1: up to do, then he storms out and peees on
- 53:22Speaker 1: the bush. Yeah, and my favorite part of the entire
- 53:26Speaker 1: episode is Colli, our first chart reader, sorry honest bushes.
- 53:32Speaker 1: She was very concerned about that bush. She's like, only
- 53:35Speaker 1: on half of it, only p on the clean side half.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Let's do a partian but a white machine and in
- 53:45Speaker 1: between the bush so we can tell who is who? Yeah,
- 53:50Speaker 1: but I mean at the risk of being flamed. I
- 53:52Speaker 1: do think at this point the whole cast being less
- 53:54Speaker 1: than ethical is valid.
- 53:55Speaker 2: Okay, can I can I ask the question about when
- 53:58Speaker 2: James said, you know, aren't you apologize for the ultimate betrayal.
- 54:02Speaker 2: So his ultimate betrayal is he's talking about the fact
- 54:04Speaker 2: that Tom slept with Raquel, but Raquel was engaged to James.
- 54:08Speaker 2: Is that the ultimate betrayal that he's speaking of.
- 54:11Speaker 1: Yes, they were already broken up, not on justifying it,
- 54:15Speaker 1: but that he didn't get He always looked at Tom supposedly,
- 54:19Speaker 1: which I just don't really buy either, But supposedly James
- 54:22Speaker 1: always looked up to Tom as a role model, and.
- 54:27Speaker 2: That's how I would describe Tom Sander. Role models the
- 54:31Speaker 2: first thing that comes to mind.
- 54:34Speaker 1: I'm sure that's how people describe us as well, but
- 54:38Speaker 1: that role model, and that once this happened, James was
- 54:43Speaker 1: never given a heads up, and so he feels like
- 54:46Speaker 1: that was the ultimate betrayal. However, we have to go
- 54:48Speaker 1: back to a million seasons ago when Kristen and James
- 54:51Speaker 1: allegedly had an affair and then Tom and Arianna had
- 54:55Speaker 1: an emotional affair at the same time. It's like it's
- 54:59Speaker 1: just endless.
- 55:00Speaker 2: But Tom brought that up and then James said, like,
- 55:04Speaker 2: don't go there like that, like meaning like that that
- 55:07Speaker 2: affair years ago doesn't count, Like I feel like there's
- 55:11Speaker 2: different rules in this group, Like if it happened ten
- 55:15Speaker 2: years ago. It doesn't count. We don't talk about that.
- 55:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it doesn't fully track. Like if you've all
- 55:23Speaker 1: been friends forever and there's multiple cheating things that happen
- 55:27Speaker 1: like this is that's this is the group. This shouldn't
- 55:30Speaker 1: be a huge shock. I mean, with Sandoval's indiscretion worse overall,
- 55:34Speaker 1: probably in regards to cheating. But we have to be real.
- 55:38Speaker 1: None of these people are angels and they're all out
- 55:41Speaker 1: to get each other in some curiosity, except maybe. I mean,
- 55:47Speaker 1: I didn't really get to talk about Katie this episode,
- 55:50Speaker 1: but I don't. She just seems like she's just gonna
- 55:53Speaker 1: say what she feels and she's really not trying to
- 55:56Speaker 1: get after anyone at this point except for her like
- 56:00Speaker 1: discuss for shorts. Yeah, she hates shorts. She hates shorts. Yeah.
- 56:05Speaker 1: Well that was this episode. Guys. Thanks for tuning in
- 56:08Speaker 1: to another episode of popping off Oh and closing with
- 56:12Speaker 1: the combin this is our how our signs work with
- 56:16Speaker 1: one another. Okay, let's hear it. With their combination of
- 56:19Speaker 1: down to earth practicality and tender emotion, these two signs
- 56:23Speaker 1: have the potential to balance each other out. Beautifully and
- 56:25Speaker 1: I Understanding and embracing their differences, Capricorn and cancer can
- 56:29Speaker 1: create a powerful, lasting bond that will stand any challenge.
- 56:34Speaker 1: I love it. I love it. That should be our
- 56:37Speaker 1: new intro. That's our new intro. Read like that with
- 56:40Speaker 1: a dramatic reading by Teddy Mellencamp. Thank you for the
- 56:42Speaker 1: dramatic reading.
- 56:43Speaker 2: Oh wait, I have a gabble gabble time, okay on
- 56:48Speaker 2: something I I oh, I can't think of things. We
- 56:52Speaker 2: have to come with a verdict. Oh yeah, what is
- 56:56Speaker 2: something that we're going to do at the end of
- 56:57Speaker 2: every podcast?
- 56:58Speaker 1: We have to have like a thing, like a like
- 57:00Speaker 1: a Okay.
- 57:01Speaker 2: I do feel like Ali's comment about the bush was
- 57:04Speaker 2: the best comment in the whole thing.
- 57:05Speaker 1: So best comment, best comment. Okay, that works. Yeah, Now
- 57:10Speaker 1: we're gonna be better prepared for this time. We're going
- 57:12Speaker 1: to be I do think Laala is plent is the
- 57:17Speaker 1: voice of reason, the audience point of view so far
- 57:20Speaker 1: this season. This could change, but that's how I feel
- 57:22Speaker 1: right now. Way to go, La, Way to go. Yeah,

- 57:55Speaker 2: a hoarder.
