SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the Create Love, Create Freedom Podcast.
0:06
SPEAKER_00: This podcast explores feminine psychology, embodiment, sovereignty, archetypes, and conscious womanhood in a post spectacle world.
0:20
SPEAKER_00: My name is Alison Fisher, and my work centers on internal authority and relational clarity across the seasons of a woman's life.
0:32
SPEAKER_00: On today's episode, we are going to be looking at the Egyptian goddess Lathor, feminine magnetism and aging.
0:44
SPEAKER_00: There is a lie modern culture tells women.
0:48
SPEAKER_00: It is repeated so often that many women absorb it without ever consciously questioning it.
0:55
SPEAKER_00: The lie is that women peak in youth, that feminine beauty, feminine value, feminine desirability, and feminine power are all somehow concentrated into a brief window of early adulthood before being an inevitable and beginning an inevitable decline.
1:22
SPEAKER_00: And if that were true, it would mean that a woman's greatest years are behind her by the time she has accumulated wisdom, discernment, emotional intelligence, experience, and self knowledge.
1:38
SPEAKER_00: But when we actually look at the women who leave a lasting impression on us, we often find something very different.
1:48
SPEAKER_00: Many of the most magnetic women are not the youngest women in the room.
1:53
SPEAKER_00: They are the women who have become deeply themselves.
1:58
SPEAKER_00: The women who have lived, the women who have suffered, the women who have loved and lost, the women who have walked through disappointment, grief, ambition, heartbreak, reinvention, and transformation, and somehow emerged more beautiful on the other side.
2:20
SPEAKER_00: Not because they escaped hardship, but because they integrated it.
2:26
SPEAKER_00: There is a difference between attractiveness and magnetism.
2:31
SPEAKER_00: Attractiveness is often visual, magnetism is psychological.
2:37
SPEAKER_00: It is emotional, it is energetic.
2:40
SPEAKER_00: It is the quality that causes people to remember how they felt in your presence long after they have forgotten what you were wearing.
2:51
SPEAKER_00: And throughout history, many cultures understood that feminine beauty was never merely physical.
2:58
SPEAKER_00: It was connected to vitality, to aliveness, to emotional warmth, presence, to embodiment, and to the ability to nourish life itself.
3:13
SPEAKER_00: This is where the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor becomes so fascinating.
3:19
SPEAKER_00: Hathor was not simply a goddess of beauty.
3:23
SPEAKER_00: She was a goddess of joy, music, sensuality, pleasure, abundance, emotional nourishment, and feminine vitality.
3:34
SPEAKER_00: She represented the life giving feminine, the feminine that restores, the feminine that beautifies, the feminine that brings warmth and aliveness back into exhausted people and exhausted systems.
3:51
SPEAKER_00: And perhaps that is why so many women become more magnetic as they age.
3:58
SPEAKER_00: Because true feminine beauty was never about youth.
4:02
SPEAKER_00: It was about life force.
4:04
SPEAKER_00: It was about presence.
4:06
SPEAKER_00: It was about becoming a woman who is deeply in relationship with herself, with her body, with beauty, with meaning, and with life itself.
4:19
SPEAKER_00: Today I want to explore Hathor, feminine magnetism, elegance, beauty, luxury, and why some women seem to become more powerful, more radiant, and more captivating within.
4:35
SPEAKER_00: Not despite the passing of time, but because of what time has taught them.
4:42
SPEAKER_00: Let's begin.
4:46
SPEAKER_00: First, we're going to examine Hathor and the psychology of beauty, beauty as nervous system regulation.
4:56
SPEAKER_00: One of the reasons modern culture struggles to understand Hathor is because modern culture struggles to understand beauty.
5:05
SPEAKER_00: Beauty is often treated as something superficial, something decorative, something optional, something that exists primarily for consumption, status, or vanity.
5:20
SPEAKER_00: But what if beauty serves a much deeper psychological purpose?
5:24
SPEAKER_00: What if beauty is not merely something we admire?
5:28
SPEAKER_00: What if beauty is something that regulates us?
5:32
SPEAKER_00: The ancient Egyptians seem to understand this in a way that modern societies have forgotten.
5:38
SPEAKER_00: Hathor was associated with music, dance, fragrance, adornment, pleasure, celebration, abundance, and beauty.
5:50
SPEAKER_00: But these were not viewed as frivolous luxuries.
5:54
SPEAKER_00: They were considered essential aspects of a flourishing human life.
6:00
SPEAKER_00: Because human beings do not live by productivity alone.
6:05
SPEAKER_00: We do not thrive on efficiency alone.
6:08
SPEAKER_00: We do not become emotionally healthy simply because our basic needs are met.
6:15
SPEAKER_00: We also need beauty, we need meaning.
6:19
SPEAKER_00: We need sensory nourishment.
6:22
SPEAKER_00: We need moments that remind us why life is worth living.
6:27
SPEAKER_00: And for many women, beauty functions as a form of nervous system support.
6:32
SPEAKER_00: Now, when I say beauty, I am not talking about perfection.
6:37
SPEAKER_00: I am not talking about expensive handbags or luxury vacations or designer labels.
6:45
SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about beauty in its broader sense, beauty of candlelight, fresh flowers on a table, a favorite mug, a well made meal, music that moves something inside you, a beautifully written book, the scent of rain, a thoughtfully designed room, a soft blanket, a piece of jewelry that carries meaning, the feeling of putting on clothing that feels aligned with who you are.
7:18
SPEAKER_00: These experiences affect us, not just emotionally, physiologically, psychologically.
7:27
SPEAKER_00: Many women intuitively understand this.
7:30
SPEAKER_00: You can feel the difference when you walk into a room that is chaotic, cluttered, harshly lit, and overstimulating.
7:39
SPEAKER_00: And you can feel the difference when you walk into a space that is intentional, a space that feels calm, beautiful, grounded, coherent.
7:51
SPEAKER_00: Your body responds before your mind does.
7:54
SPEAKER_00: Your nervous system notices before your thoughts do.
7:58
SPEAKER_00: Because human beings are sensory, sensory creatures.
8:04
SPEAKER_00: We are constantly responding to our environments.
8:08
SPEAKER_00: And yet modern life often asks us to ignore this.
8:13
SPEAKER_00: We spend hours staring at screens.
8:16
SPEAKER_00: We move through sterile environments.
8:19
SPEAKER_00: We rush from task to task.
8:22
SPEAKER_00: We consume endless information.
8:25
SPEAKER_00: We optimize, we perform, we produce.
8:30
SPEAKER_00: And then we wonder why we feel exhausted, disconnected, uninspired, or emotionally depleted.
8:39
SPEAKER_00: Part of the answer may be that we are experiencing beauty deprivation, not luxury deprivation, beauty deprivation.
8:49
SPEAKER_00: There's a difference.
8:51
SPEAKER_00: Luxury is often external.
8:54
SPEAKER_00: Beauty is internal.
8:57
SPEAKER_00: Beauty is relational.
9:00
SPEAKER_00: Beauty invites us back into connection, connection with ourselves, connection with our senses, connection with the present moment, connection with life.
9:12
SPEAKER_00: And this is where Hathor becomes such a powerful archetype, because Hathor reminds us that nourishment is not only physical, it is emotional, it is aesthetic, it is symbolic, it is sensory.
9:29
SPEAKER_00: A woman can be fed and still be starving.
9:33
SPEAKER_00: She can be successful and still feel depleted.
9:37
SPEAKER_00: She can be productive and still feel disconnected from her own aliveness.
9:45
SPEAKER_00: Hathor asks a different question, not how much have you accomplished, but what nourishes you?
9:54
SPEAKER_00: What restores you?
9:56
SPEAKER_00: What makes you feel more alive?
9:59
SPEAKER_00: Those are very different questions, and often they reveal very different priorities.
10:07
SPEAKER_00: One of the things I have noticed as I have gotten older is that my relationship with beauty has become more intentional, less performative, less about appearance, more about atmosphere, more about emotional well being, more about creating environments that support the life I want to live.
10:30
SPEAKER_00: I care more about how a space feels, how clothing feels, how conversations feel, how relationships feel.
10:40
SPEAKER_00: I am less interested in spectacle and more interested in coherence, less interested in impressing people, and more interested in creating a life that feels deeply nourishing.
10:56
SPEAKER_00: And I think many women experience a similar shift as they mature.
11:02
SPEAKER_00: They begin to understand that beauty is not something separate from well being.
11:07
SPEAKER_00: Beauty can be a part of well being, it can be a part of healing, it can be a part of emotional regulation, and beauty can be a part of feminine sovereignty.
11:19
SPEAKER_00: Because when we consciously cultivate beauty, not for approval, but for nourishment, we are choosing to participate in life differently.
11:30
SPEAKER_00: We are choosing presence over numbness, intentionality over chaos, aliveness over survival.
11:39
SPEAKER_00: And perhaps that is one of Hathor's deepest teachings.
11:43
SPEAKER_00: Beauty is not frivolous when it restores life force.
11:47
SPEAKER_00: Beauty is not superficial when it reconnects us to ourselves.
11:53
SPEAKER_00: Beauty is not indulgent when it helps us remember what it feels like to be fully alive.
12:02
SPEAKER_00: Next let's look at elegant women and emotional coherence why some women feel luxurious to be around.
12:14
SPEAKER_00: Have you ever met a woman who feels different?
12:18
SPEAKER_00: Not because she's the most conventionally attractive woman in the room, not because she's the wealthiest, not because she's the loudest, most charismatic, or most visible, but because there is something about her presence that feels calming, grounding, refined, almost luxurious.
12:39
SPEAKER_00: And when I say luxurious, I don't mean expensive.
12:43
SPEAKER_00: I mean being around her feels like entering an environment where your nervous system can finally exhale.
12:52
SPEAKER_00: These women are fascinating because their impact has very little to do with appearance alone.
12:59
SPEAKER_00: In fact, many women spend years trying to replicate externally what these women embody internally.
13:09
SPEAKER_00: The women who are replicating focus on the clothes, the makeup, the skincare, the accessories, the aesthetic.
13:19
SPEAKER_00: But the true source of elegance runs much deeper.
13:24
SPEAKER_00: It is emotional coherence.
13:27
SPEAKER_00: It is the alignment between who a woman is internally and how she moves through the world externally.
13:36
SPEAKER_00: When a woman becomes emotionally coherent, there is less contradiction inside her, less performance, less fragmentation, less energy spent trying to be someone else.
13:50
SPEAKER_00: She is no longer constantly adjusting herself to gain approval.
13:55
SPEAKER_00: She is no longer monitoring every interaction to determine whether she is acceptable.
14:02
SPEAKER_00: She is no longer desperately trying to curate an identity.
14:07
SPEAKER_00: Instead, she begins to occupy herself.
14:12
SPEAKER_00: And that changes everything.
14:15
SPEAKER_00: Because one of the most exhausting things about modern life is the amount of performance it demands.
14:22
SPEAKER_00: Many people are performing competence, performing confidence, performing success, performing spirituality or religion, performing femininity, and performing authenticity.
14:38
SPEAKER_00: Whether we consciously recognize it or not, our nervous systems can often feel the strain of that performance.
14:48
SPEAKER_00: There is a subtle tension, a subtle grasping, a subtle effortfulness.
14:56
SPEAKER_00: Elegant women often feel different because that effortfulness begins to disappear.
15:03
SPEAKER_00: Not entirely, they are still human.
15:06
SPEAKER_00: There is less striving, less proving, less chasing, more presence, more congruence, more ease.
15:15
SPEAKER_00: And that ease creates a kind of emotional spaciousness.
15:20
SPEAKER_00: When you are around them, you don't feel pressured to perform either.
15:25
SPEAKER_00: You don't feel managed, you don't feel manipulated, you don't feel pulled into unnecessary drama.
15:34
SPEAKER_00: You simply feel more regulated, more grounded, more yourself.
15:41
SPEAKER_00: This is one of the reasons I believe true elegance is closely connected to nervous system health.
15:49
SPEAKER_00: Because elegance is not primarily an aesthetic achievement, it is an emotional achievement.
15:57
SPEAKER_00: It is what happens when a woman develops enough self-trust that she no longer needs to constantly reinforce or force reality.
16:10
SPEAKER_00: She becomes more deliberate, more thoughtful, more selective.
16:16
SPEAKER_00: Not because she is trying to appear sophisticated, but because she understands the value of her energy.
16:24
SPEAKER_00: And I think this is where many people misunderstand feminine magnetism.
16:31
SPEAKER_00: They assume magnetism comes from intensity, from excitement, from constant stimulation, and from drawing attention.
16:40
SPEAKER_00: But often the most magnetic women are creating the opposite experience.
16:46
SPEAKER_00: They are creating relief.
16:49
SPEAKER_00: In a world that feels increasingly noisy, reactive, rushed, and overstimulated, they are embodying something that has become more rare.
17:01
SPEAKER_00: They are embodying spaciousness.
17:04
SPEAKER_00: Think about the women who leave the deepest impression on you.
17:09
SPEAKER_00: Often they are not the women demanding attention.
17:13
SPEAKER_00: They are the women who seem deeply at home within themselves, women who speak with intention, women who listen carefully, women who are emotionally present, women who feel who move through life with a sense of rhythm rather than urgency.
17:36
SPEAKER_00: Women who know who they are without needing to announce it every five minutes.
17:42
SPEAKER_00: There is something profoundly attractive about that.
17:46
SPEAKER_00: And I think part of the reason is that coherence creates trust.
17:52
SPEAKER_00: When someone's inner world and outer world are aligned, we feel it.
17:57
SPEAKER_00: We relax around them, we trust them more.
18:01
SPEAKER_00: We experience them as stable, predictable, grounded, not boring.
18:08
SPEAKER_00: Grounded.
18:10
SPEAKER_00: Those are very different things.
18:14
SPEAKER_00: In many ways, elegance is the visible expression of internal order, not perfection, not control, but internal order.
18:27
SPEAKER_00: It is what happens when a woman begins organizing her life around what is true rather than what is impressive.
18:36
SPEAKER_00: And as women mature, this often becomes increasingly important.
18:42
SPEAKER_00: Many women eventually discover that they no longer want to spend their lives chasing admiration.
18:49
SPEAKER_00: They want something deeper.
18:51
SPEAKER_00: They want coherence.
18:52
SPEAKER_00: They want peace.
18:54
SPEAKER_00: They want meaningful beauty.
18:56
SPEAKER_00: They want relationships that feel nourishing.
18:59
SPEAKER_00: They want environments that support their well-being.
19:03
SPEAKER_00: They want a life that feels aligned.
19:06
SPEAKER_00: And when that alignment begins to emerge, elegance often follows naturally.
19:13
SPEAKER_00: Not because elegance was the goal, but because coherence became the goal.
19:21
SPEAKER_00: This is why so many women feel luxurious to be around.
19:25
SPEAKER_00: Not because they are wealthy, not because they are perfect, not because they have mastered every aspect of life, but because they have become increasingly integrated.
19:38
SPEAKER_00: Their beauty is not just visual, it is emotional.
19:42
SPEAKER_00: Their elegance is not just aesthetic, it is psychological.
19:47
SPEAKER_00: And their presence feels nourishing because they have stopped fighting themselves.
19:53
SPEAKER_00: Perhaps that is one of the deepest forms of feminine refinement, not becoming someone else, but becoming so aligned with who you truly are that your presence itself becomes a source of calm, beauty, and restoration for both yourself and the people around you.
20:18
SPEAKER_00: Next, let's look at the woman who becomes more beautiful with age.
20:25
SPEAKER_00: One of the fascinating things I have observed as I have gotten older is that some women genuinely become more beautiful with age, not despite aging, because of it.
20:39
SPEAKER_00: And I know that statement runs directly against much of what modern culture teaches.
20:46
SPEAKER_00: We are surrounded by messages that suggest that beauty is something that peaks early and gradually fades, that youth is the primary source of feminine attractiveness, and that a woman's greatest asset is her appearance before life has had a chance to leave its mark upon her.
21:10
SPEAKER_00: When I look at the women I most admire, I often see the opposite.
21:16
SPEAKER_00: I see women who became more beautiful after forty, more beautiful after fifty, sometimes even more beautiful after eighty.
21:26
SPEAKER_00: Not because they somehow escaped the reality of aging, not because they found the perfect skincare routine, not because they won the genetic lottery or have an excellent plastic surgeon, but because something inside them changed and continued to change as they aged.
21:50
SPEAKER_00: And eventually that internal transformation became visible.
21:56
SPEAKER_00: Because while age changes the face, integral Changes the face too.
22:02
SPEAKER_00: Life leaves marks on us.
22:05
SPEAKER_00: So does wisdom.
22:06
SPEAKER_00: So does peace.
22:08
SPEAKER_00: So does self-respect.
22:10
SPEAKER_00: So does emotional healing.
22:12
SPEAKER_00: And so does self-trust.
22:15
SPEAKER_00: And over time, those forces begin shaping a woman just as surely as the passing years do.
22:24
SPEAKER_00: This is why I think we need to distinguish between attractiveness and beauty.
22:29
SPEAKER_00: Attractiveness is often immediate.
22:31
SPEAKER_00: Its visual is what captures our attention.
22:36
SPEAKER_00: Beauty is deeper.
22:38
SPEAKER_00: Beauty is cumulative.
22:40
SPEAKER_00: Beauty develops through relationship with life.
22:45
SPEAKER_00: And one of the things that makes mature women so compelling is that many of them have stopped fighting reality.
22:53
SPEAKER_00: They have stopped fighting themselves.
22:55
SPEAKER_00: They have stopped trying to become someone else.
23:00
SPEAKER_00: They have stopped exhausting themselves trying to earn belonging.
23:06
SPEAKER_00: They stopped caring what society says.
23:11
SPEAKER_00: And that surrender creates a kind of radiance, not passive resignation, acceptance.
23:20
SPEAKER_00: There's a difference.
23:22
SPEAKER_00: Many women spend their twenties and even their thirties trying to become the versions of themselves they believe will finally be loved, chosen, admired, or validated.
23:35
SPEAKER_00: They shape shift, they perform, they overextend, they abandon themselves, they tolerate situations that diminish them, they carry insecurities that are not truly theirs.
23:49
SPEAKER_00: They work very hard to fit into someone else's definition of who they should be.
23:56
SPEAKER_00: When that kind of internal conflict is exhausting, the nervous system feels it, the body feels it, the face often reflects it, because chronic self rejection has consequences.
24:11
SPEAKER_00: But something remarkable begins to happen when a woman starts coming home to herself, when she develops standards, when she leaves relationships that require self abandonment, when she becomes more discerning, when she learns to trust her own perceptions, when she stops seeking permission to exist, when she stops apologizing for picking up space, and when she begins organizing her life around truth rather than approval.
24:49
SPEAKER_00: The tension starts to leave, and often beauty emerges, not because she is younger, but because she is more integrated, because congruence is beautiful.
25:02
SPEAKER_00: You can often see it in the eyes first.
25:05
SPEAKER_00: There is less desperation, less fear, less grasping, more steadiness or depth, presence, more self possession.
25:17
SPEAKER_00: And people respond to that, whether they understand it consciously or not, because human beings are constantly reading one another's emotional states.
25:28
SPEAKER_00: We are reading posture, voice, facial expression, energy, and presence.
25:37
SPEAKER_00: And a woman who has been and become deeply comfortable in her own skin often communicates something profoundly attractive.
25:48
SPEAKER_00: She communicates safety, not safety in the sense of passivity, safety in the sense that she is no longer at war with herself.
26:01
SPEAKER_00: And that is incredibly magnetic.
26:05
SPEAKER_00: This is one of the reasons I think feminine magnetism often grows stronger with age, because mature magnetism is different from youthful attraction.
26:17
SPEAKER_00: Youthful attraction often relies on novelty.
26:20
SPEAKER_00: Mature magnetism relies on presence.
26:24
SPEAKER_00: Youthful attraction captures attention.
26:28
SPEAKER_00: Mature magnetism sustains attention.
26:33
SPEAKER_00: Youthful attraction may be immediately visible.
26:38
SPEAKER_00: Mature magnetism is often slowly discovered.
26:43
SPEAKER_00: It unfolds through conversation, character, depth, humor, wisdom, confidence, warmth, and discernment, and perhaps most importantly, authenticity.
27:01
SPEAKER_00: This is where Hathor becomes such a powerful guide, because Hathor's beauty was never merely physical.
27:10
SPEAKER_00: It was life force, it was vitality, it was joy, it was emotional nourishment.
27:17
SPEAKER_00: It was aliveness.
27:20
SPEAKER_00: And aliveness can deepen over time.
27:24
SPEAKER_00: In fact, many women become more alive as they age because they become more free, less concerned with approval, less trapped by expectations, less dependent on external validation, more connected to their own values, more connected to their own rhythm, more connected to their own desires, more connected to what genuinely matters.
27:55
SPEAKER_00: And freedom has a beauty of its own.
27:58
SPEAKER_00: A woman who knows herself moves differently, speaks differently, loves differently, lives differently.
28:07
SPEAKER_00: You can feel it, not because she is trying to impress anyone, but because she has become increasingly herself.
28:16
SPEAKER_00: And perhaps that is one of the greatest gifts of maturity, not preserving the face of youth, but developing the kind of beauty that youth alone could never create.
28:29
SPEAKER_00: The beauty of a woman who has integrated her experiences, the beauty of a woman who trusts herself, the beauty of a woman who has stopped performing and started inhabiting her own life, the beauty of a woman who is no longer becoming, but instead arriving.
28:54
SPEAKER_00: Next we're going to examine Hathor, wealth, and feminine luxury.
29:04
SPEAKER_00: One of the things I find most interesting about maturity is how often our relationship with luxury changes.
29:12
SPEAKER_00: When we are younger, luxury is frequently presented as acquisition.
29:18
SPEAKER_00: More, bigger, newer, more expensive, more visible.
29:24
SPEAKER_00: Luxury becomes something to display, something to signal, something to prove.
29:31
SPEAKER_00: And in many ways that makes sense.
29:34
SPEAKER_00: When people are still trying to establish identity, status, belonging, or success, there can be a natural temptation to use material things as evidence, evidence that we've made it, evidence that we're worthy, evidence that we are successful, evidence that our lives matter.
29:56
SPEAKER_00: But over time, many women begin to realize that there's a significant difference between luxury and excess.
30:05
SPEAKER_00: And perhaps more importantly, there is a significant difference between luxury and nourishment, because excess often creates stimulation.
30:17
SPEAKER_00: Luxury, at its highest expression, creates spaciousness.
30:23
SPEAKER_00: Hathor understood this distinction.
30:27
SPEAKER_00: As a goddess associated with beauty, abundance, pleasure, celebration, and prosperity, Hathor was not a symbol of endless consumption.
30:39
SPEAKER_00: She was a symbol of flourishing, of vitality, of richness, of life's capacity to overflow, and that is very different from accumulation for its own sake.
30:55
SPEAKER_00: Modern culture often encourages us to consume more while enjoying less.
31:02
SPEAKER_00: We acquire more possessions, more subscriptions, more products, more information, more entertainment, and yet many people feel increasingly depleted, increasingly distracted, increasingly disconnected from themselves, because consumption and nourishment are not the same thing.
31:26
SPEAKER_00: In fact, sometimes they are the opposites.
31:30
SPEAKER_00: A woman can purchase more and enjoy less.
31:34
SPEAKER_00: She can accumulate more and feel less abundant.
31:39
SPEAKER_00: She can surround herself with things and still experience a profound sense of scarcity.
31:46
SPEAKER_00: This is why I think mature women often begin redefining luxury entirely.
31:53
SPEAKER_00: Luxury becomes less about quantity and more about quality, less about display and more about experience, less about impressing others and more about supporting well being.
32:09
SPEAKER_00: Luxury becomes time, silence, beauty, rest, craftsmanship, meaning, wisdom, and presence.
32:22
SPEAKER_00: A beautifully prepared meal shared with someone you love, fresh flowers on a table, a well made coat that lasts for years, thoughtfully designed home, a slow morning, a favorite book, a walk through a beautiful landscape, a conversation that nourishes the soul.
32:46
SPEAKER_00: These experiences may not generate social media attention, they often generate something far more valuable contentment.
32:56
SPEAKER_00: And I think this is one of the reasons so many women become increasingly selective as they age.
33:03
SPEAKER_00: Not because they're becoming rigid, but because they're becoming discerning.
33:08
SPEAKER_00: They begin recognizing the difference between what stimulates them and what nourishes them, the difference between what creates momentary excitement and what creates lasting well being.
33:24
SPEAKER_00: The difference between spectacle and substance, the difference between luxury and excess.
33:32
SPEAKER_00: And this is where feminine wealth becomes particularly interesting, because wealth, viewed through a thoric lens, is not simply money.
33:44
SPEAKER_00: Money matters, financial security matters, resources matter.
33:50
SPEAKER_00: But wealth is broader than income.
33:53
SPEAKER_00: Wealth includes beauty, time, health, relationships, peace, emotional well being, meaning, and freedom.
34:06
SPEAKER_00: The ability to create a life that reflects your values, the ability to make choices from alignment rather than desperation, the ability to support what matters, the ability to cultivate environments that allow to flourish.
34:26
SPEAKER_00: This is why I often think the most sophisticated form of luxury is not consumption, it is stewardship, the ability to care for what has been entrusted to you, your body, your home, your relationships, your resources, your work, your attention, and your energy.
34:49
SPEAKER_00: Because all of those things are forms of wealth, and how we manage them ultimately shapes the quality of our lives.
34:59
SPEAKER_00: One of the things I admire about many elegant women is that they often develop a deep respect for stewardship.
35:06
SPEAKER_00: They become intentional, thoughtful, discerning.
35:11
SPEAKER_00: Not because they are restrictive, but because they understand that abundance requires care.
35:18
SPEAKER_00: Beauty requires care.
35:21
SPEAKER_00: Relationships require care.
35:24
SPEAKER_00: Businesses require care.
35:27
SPEAKER_00: Life itself requires care.
35:30
SPEAKER_00: And perhaps that is one of Hathor's most important lessons.
35:35
SPEAKER_00: Abundance is not measured by how much we consume.
35:39
SPEAKER_00: Abundance is measured by how much life we are able to sustain, how much beauty we are able to cultivate, how much vitality we are able to produce, how much nourishment we are able to create for ourselves and others.
35:58
SPEAKER_00: That is luxury without act without excess, not a life built around accumulation, a life built around flourishing, a life where wealth serves life rather than replacing it, a life where beauty supports well being rather than performance, a life where abundance is experienced not through constant acquisition, but through a deep and ongoing relationship with what truly matters.
36:30
SPEAKER_00: And perhaps that is the most Hathoric expression of wealth.
36:35
SPEAKER_00: Next we're going to examine Hathor, Sakhmet, and Magdalene, the integrated feminine.
36:45
SPEAKER_00: One of the challenges women often face when exploring feminine archetypes is the temptation to identify with only one aspect of themselves.
36:56
SPEAKER_00: We find an archetype that resonates and we think that's me.
37:00
SPEAKER_00: But maybe maybe it is the nurturer, maybe the lover, queen, the mystic, the healer, the warrior, the wise woman.
37:14
SPEAKER_00: And while there is certainly value in understanding these archetypes, real feminine maturity rarely looks like embodying only one of them.
37:26
SPEAKER_00: Instead, maturity often looks like integration, the ability to hold multiple truths simultaneously, the ability to become more whole.
37:38
SPEAKER_00: This is one of the reasons I find the combination of Hathor, Sekmet, and Magdalene so compelling, because together they represent three dimensions of feminine power that many women spend a lifetime trying to reconcile.
37:55
SPEAKER_00: Hathor teaches us how to remain open to life.
37:59
SPEAKER_00: She is beauty, pleasure, joy, sensuality, abundance, nourishment, and connection.
38:08
SPEAKER_00: She reminds us that life is meant to be experienced, not merely endured, that beauty matters, that pleasure matters, that emotional warmth matters, that being fully alive matters.
38:25
SPEAKER_00: But Hathor is not enough just by herself, because without boundaries, warmth becomes self sacrifice.
38:34
SPEAKER_00: Without discernment, generosity becomes depletion.
38:39
SPEAKER_00: Without standards, openness can become vulnerability to exploitation.
38:46
SPEAKER_00: This is where Sekmet enters the story.
38:50
SPEAKER_00: Sekmet is often portrayed as fierce, and rightly so.
38:54
SPEAKER_00: She is the lioness, the protector, the guardian of boundaries, the force that confronts what is harmful, corrupt, manipulative or destructive.
39:09
SPEAKER_00: Sekmet teaches women something many of us learn the hard way.
39:14
SPEAKER_00: Love does not require self abandonment.
39:17
SPEAKER_00: Compassion does not require access.
39:22
SPEAKER_00: Kindness does not require tolerating behavior that diminishes you, and forgiveness does not eliminate the need for discernment.
39:32
SPEAKER_00: Many women begin life heavily identified with Anthor, open hearted, trusting, generous, available, only to discover that openness without discernment can become costly.
39:48
SPEAKER_00: So they swing toward sechmet, towards protection, toward boundaries, toward self preservation, toward fierce independence.
39:59
SPEAKER_00: And often that stage is necessary, but eventually another integration must occur, because women cannot thrive in permanent defense mode either.
40:10
SPEAKER_00: The goal is not to become hardened, the goal is to become discerning while remaining alive, protected without becoming closed, strong without becoming rigid.
40:26
SPEAKER_00: This is where Magdalene enters.
40:29
SPEAKER_00: Magdalene brings depth, she brings devotion, she brings spiritual maturity.
40:37
SPEAKER_00: She represents the woman who has walked through suffering and emerged with a deeper capacity for love, not naive love, not performative love, not self sacrificing love, conscious love.
40:55
SPEAKER_00: Magdalene understands grief, transformation, loss, initiation.
41:02
SPEAKER_00: She understands that life will break your heart sometimes, and yet she remains capable of loving, capable of beauty, capable of presence, capable of faith.
41:17
SPEAKER_00: This is what makes her so powerful.
41:19
SPEAKER_00: Magdalene reminds us that feminine strength is not merely the ability to protect ourselves, it is the ability to remain connected to our humanity after disappointment, to remain connected to our hearts after betrayal, to remain connected to meaning after suffering.
41:41
SPEAKER_00: When I think about the women I most admire, I often see this integration.
41:47
SPEAKER_00: I see Hathor, the capacity for beauty, warmth, joy, and aliveness.
41:53
SPEAKER_00: I see Sekmet, the capacity for boundaries, standards, discernment and self respect.
42:01
SPEAKER_00: And I see Magdalene, the capacity for depth, wisdom, devotion and transformation.
42:10
SPEAKER_00: Together they create something extraordinary.
42:14
SPEAKER_00: A woman who is warm but not naive, open, not unprotected, sensual, but not performative, powerful but not domineering, spiritual but not disconnected from reality, and compassionate but not self abandoning.
42:35
SPEAKER_00: This is what I believe many women are actually seeking, not perfection, integration, not becoming more attractive, becoming more whole, not becoming someone else, but becoming fully themselves.
42:53
SPEAKER_00: And perhaps that is the deepest expression of feminine maturity, not choosing between softness and strength, between beauty and wisdom, between love and discernment, but developing the capacity to hold all of them.
43:10
SPEAKER_00: Because the integrated feminine is not fragmented.
43:14
SPEAKER_00: She does not have to cut off parts of herself in order to belong.
43:19
SPEAKER_00: She understands that beauty, boundaries, and depth are not competing forces, they are complementary ones.
43:28
SPEAKER_00: And when they come together, something remarkable happens.
43:33
SPEAKER_00: A woman stops trying to fit into a role and begins embodying the fullness of who she was always meant to become.
43:45
SPEAKER_00: Lastly, we're going to discuss post spectacle femininity, the end of performance.
43:54
SPEAKER_00: There is a quiet shift that happens in many women's lives.
44:00
SPEAKER_00: Not happen at a specific age, it does not arrive according to a timeline, and not every woman experiences it.
44:09
SPEAKER_00: For those who do, it often feels like waking up from a very long dream.
44:15
SPEAKER_00: A dream in which much of life revolved around being seen, being chosen, being approved of, being admired, being validated, and being considered enough.
44:29
SPEAKER_00: For years, sometimes decades, women can find themselves performing versions of femininity that were never entirely their own.
44:41
SPEAKER_00: Sometimes the performance is subtle, sometimes it is obvious.
44:46
SPEAKER_00: But the underlying question is often the same.
44:50
SPEAKER_00: What do I need to be in order to be loved?
44:53
SPEAKER_00: What do I need to be in order to belong?
44:57
SPEAKER_00: And what do I need to be in order to matter?
45:01
SPEAKER_00: And so we perform.
45:03
SPEAKER_00: We perform beauty, confidence, success.
45:07
SPEAKER_00: We perform spirituality, independence and perfection.
45:12
SPEAKER_00: We also perform healing and authenticity.
45:17
SPEAKER_00: Ironically, even authenticity can become a performance, especially in a culture where every thought, every experience, and every emotional process can be transformed into content.
45:32
SPEAKER_00: What begins as self expression gradually becomes self surveillance.
45:38
SPEAKER_00: What begins as connection can become performance.
45:42
SPEAKER_00: What begins as sharing can become identity maintenance.
45:48
SPEAKER_00: And over time many women become exhausted, not because they are doing too much, but because they are carrying the psychological burden of constantly being observed, constantly being evaluated, constantly being visible.
46:06
SPEAKER_00: The modern world has normalized a level of self consciousness that previous generations never experienced.
46:16
SPEAKER_00: We are encouraged to brand ourselves, curate ourselves, document ourselves, explain ourselves, market ourselves.
46:28
SPEAKER_00: And while there can be value in visibility, visibility is not the same thing as intimacy.
46:37
SPEAKER_00: Visibility is not the same thing as self knowledge.
46:41
SPEAKER_00: Visibility is not the same thing as belonging.
46:45
SPEAKER_00: In fact, some visibility can become a substitute for those things.
46:51
SPEAKER_00: This is why I think so many women eventually begin craving something different, not more attention, more privacy, not more visibility, more depth, not more performance, but more presence.
47:07
SPEAKER_00: They begin realizing that much of what they thought they wanted was actually what they thought they were supposed to want.
47:15
SPEAKER_00: And once that realization arrives, something starts to fall away.
47:21
SPEAKER_00: The need to constantly explain yourself, the need to constantly prove yourself, the need to constantly optimize yourself, the need to constantly broadcast yourself.
47:35
SPEAKER_00: You begin understanding that your life does not become more meaningful because more people are watching it.
47:43
SPEAKER_00: It becomes more meaningful because you're actually living it.
47:48
SPEAKER_00: This is what I mean by post spectacle femininity.
47:52
SPEAKER_00: This is femininity that no longer depends on performance.
47:57
SPEAKER_00: This is femininity that no longer depends on audience approval.
48:04
SPEAKER_00: It is also femininity that becomes increasingly rooted in internal authority rather than external validation.
48:14
SPEAKER_00: And this is one of the reasons I believe many women become more magnetic as they mature, because they stop chasing attention and start cultivating presence.
48:26
SPEAKER_00: Presence is different, presence is quiet, presence is grounded.
48:32
SPEAKER_00: Presence does not need to convince anyone.
48:36
SPEAKER_00: Presence does not need to compete.
48:39
SPEAKER_00: Presence does not need to constantly announce itself.
48:43
SPEAKER_00: It simply exists, and people feel it.
48:49
SPEAKER_00: Think about the women who have the greatest impact on you.
48:53
SPEAKER_00: Often they are not the loudest women, they are not the most visible women, they are not necessarily the women with the largest platforms.
49:02
SPEAKER_00: They are the women whose lives feel coherent, the women who seem deeply rooted in themselves, the women whose words carry weight because they are not speaking merely to be heard.
49:17
SPEAKER_00: They are speaking from lived experience, from conviction, from integration, and from truth.
49:26
SPEAKER_00: There is a depth that emerges when a woman no longer organizes her life around appearance management, when she no longer needs every decision to be understood, when she no longer seeks consensus before trusting herself, when she no longer feels obligated to turn every experience into content.
49:50
SPEAKER_00: She becomes more private, more deliberate, more selective, not because she is withdrawing from life, but because she is entertaining it more fully.
50:03
SPEAKER_00: And perhaps that is one of the most liberating aspects of maturity.
50:08
SPEAKER_00: You begin realizing that your value does not increase when more people approve of you.
50:15
SPEAKER_00: Your value does not increase when more people notice you.
50:19
SPEAKER_00: Your value does not increase when more people validate your existence.
50:25
SPEAKER_00: Your value remains, whether it is witnessed or not, whether it is applauded or not, whether it is understood or not.
50:35
SPEAKER_00: This is the end of performance.
50:38
SPEAKER_00: It is the end of spectacle.
50:41
SPEAKER_00: Not because you stop caring entirely what other people think, you are still human, but because you stop allowing other people's perceptions to become the organizing principle of your life.
50:56
SPEAKER_00: And in that freedom, something beautiful happens.
51:00
SPEAKER_00: The energy that once went into performing can finally be redirected towards living, towards creating, toward loving, toward building, toward becoming, toward cultivating a life that feels deeply aligned with your values and your truth.
51:22
SPEAKER_00: Which brings us back to Hathor, because Hathor was never concerned with spectacle, she was concerned with vitality, with beauty, with nourishment, with aliveness.
51:36
SPEAKER_00: And perhaps that is the invitation for all of us to move beyond performance, to move beyond visibility, to move beyond the endless pursuit of approval, and to become the women who are not merely seen, but fully alive.
51:56
SPEAKER_00: As we close this conversation, I want to return to the idea that has quietly woven its way through this entire episode.
52:05
SPEAKER_00: The idea that feminine beauty was never meant to be reduced to youth.
52:10
SPEAKER_00: It was never meant to be reduced to appearance, and it was certainly never meant to be reduced to performance.
52:18
SPEAKER_00: Because when we look beneath the surface of Hathor, we find something much deeper than beauty alone.
52:24
SPEAKER_00: We find vitality, we find aliveness.
52:28
SPEAKER_00: We find a woman who remains connected to life, a woman who allows herself to experience beauty, to experience pleasure, to experience meaning, to experience joy, and to experience love.
52:45
SPEAKER_00: Not because life is perfect, quite far from it, but because she understands that being fully alive requires participation, and perhaps that is what becomes increasingly beautiful as women mature.
53:01
SPEAKER_00: Not perfection, not flawlessness, not the preservation of youth, but the willingness to remain open to life, to continue growing, learning, finding, loving, creating, and becoming.
53:19
SPEAKER_00: I think this is why some women become more magnetic with age, because they stop organizing themselves around being desired, and start organizing themselves around being alive.
53:32
SPEAKER_00: They stop asking, am I enough?
53:35
SPEAKER_00: And begin asking, what kind of life am I creating?
53:40
SPEAKER_00: What nourishes me?
53:42
SPEAKER_00: What is worth reenergy?
53:44
SPEAKER_00: What is worth beauty?
53:46
SPEAKER_00: What is meaningful?
53:48
SPEAKER_00: What is true?
53:51
SPEAKER_00: And over time those questions shape a woman.
53:55
SPEAKER_00: They shape her choices, they shape her relationships, they shape her presence, they shape her face.
54:04
SPEAKER_00: Because eventually our lives become visible.
54:08
SPEAKER_00: The years reveal what we've practiced.
54:12
SPEAKER_00: Bitterness leaves a mark, resentment leaves a mark, but so does gratitude, peace, wisdom, joy, self respect, and love.
54:24
SPEAKER_00: The woman who becomes more beautiful with age is often the woman who has spent years cultivating those qualities, not perfectly, but intentionally.
54:35
SPEAKER_00: She has learned discernment through experience, boundaries through necessity, depth through hardship, grace through practice, and beauty through relationship with life itself.
54:51
SPEAKER_00: This is where Hathor offers such a powerful reminder.
54:55
SPEAKER_00: True feminine radiance is not something we manufacture, it is something we cultivate, through attention, through presence, through nourishment, through alignment, and through living in a way that allows life force to continue moving through us.
55:14
SPEAKER_00: And perhaps that is the invitation of this entire episode, not to chase youth, not to chase approval, not to chase an image, but to become a woman who is deeply in relationship with life, a woman who remains curious, a woman who remains open, a woman who remains capable of wonder, a woman who continues choosing beauty, meaning, truth, and vitality.
55:46
SPEAKER_00: Because in the end, the woman who leaves the deepest impression on us are rarely the women who were the most perfect.
55:59
SPEAKER_00: They are the women who were the most alive.
56:02
SPEAKER_00: And there's nothing more beautiful than that.
56:07
SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for listening.
56:10
SPEAKER_00: Let whatever was useful settle in its own time.
56:14
SPEAKER_00: Clarity I have found tends to unfold naturally when we give it space.
56:20
SPEAKER_00: Until next time, stay rooted, stay sovereign, and stay true to your feminine path.
