- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30So I want to talk to you about always being in a hurry because
- 0:34I think this is one of the most toxic things that people do to
- 0:37themselves constantly rushing around.
- 0:41If there's one thing that you can change quickly, and you can
- 0:45make a massive difference in your life, with its this Factor
- 0:49if you are constantly rushing. If you find yourself,
- 0:52constantly, rushing rushing, rushing rushing.
- 0:55You are setting yourself up for a massive amount of stress. a
- 1:00massive amount of disagrees to come into your body because
- 1:05chemically when you have stress, your body fills up with all the
- 1:10different chemicals and enzymes and It's just stress pours in
- 1:15that way. And your cells, take it all in
- 1:18and if you don't think that's true, boy, you need to do some
- 1:22research. Because if there's one thing
- 1:24that we know now, for sure, it's that stress can take a person
- 1:28out in no time at all and dis ease.
- 1:31And I always say it that way. Because if you look at the word
- 1:34disease, it is dis-ease. Meaning, you are under stress
- 1:38and it tells us something and we need to be practical about it
- 1:42and pay attention to it. And one of The biggest things
- 1:45that causes disease is the fact that we are always in a damn
- 1:48hurry. And we don't always need to be
- 1:51in a damn hurry. Yet we are yet, we are.
- 1:54And we do it to ourselves constantly constantly constantly
- 1:58and we don't stop. And think about the fact that
- 2:01I've got to collect myself, to get out of this state of stress,
- 2:03because if I stay in the state of stress, I'm going to cause
- 2:06myself to have less productive results.
- 2:10That's the very first thing. I'll tell you right now, if
- 2:12you're always in a hurry, you are having less productive
- 2:15results. If you are always in a hurry,
- 2:17you are not doing 100% of the work that you are capable of
- 2:20doing. So, no matter what your degree
- 2:21is, I don't care if you have a bachelor's degree, I don't care
- 2:24if you've got a doctorate or master's degree, whatever it
- 2:26might be, you are not giving it your full base of knowledge
- 2:30because you are focused on something.
- 2:33That is chemically impossible when you are under stress and
- 2:37stresses do you know completely and totally related to the cause
- 2:41of hurrying all the time? So because of Our society is
- 2:44wired because of all the things that we put on our plate and a
- 2:48day we get into that stress response of hurry, way too much,
- 2:53whether it's to pack lunches, whether it's to get out the
- 2:57door, whether it's to, you know, simply get to bed.
- 3:01I have a client who constantly were, is in a hurry, to get to
- 3:04bed. So, she stresses all day long
- 3:06about what time she is going to go to bed at night, because
- 3:09she's got to get enough sleep. And if she doesn't get enough
- 3:11sleep and she doesn't have a good day.
- 3:13So she Spends the whole day worrying about sleeping and
- 3:19trying to get to sleep early, but her whole entire day to that
- 3:23point when she gets to that 8:30, Mark when she wants to be
- 3:26in bed is stress the whole day, imagine this just stop.
- 3:32And think about this for a second because throughout the
- 3:35day she's like, I gotta hurry up and get this done because
- 3:36otherwise we'll have to do it later and I want people to get
- 3:38to bed hungry. Do you think of sleep is at that
- 3:41point? It's not.
- 3:42The sleep is not great at that point.
- 3:43Because unfortunately she has undone everything great because
- 3:48of her level of stress that she's ended.
- 3:51So it's incredibly important that you understand what I'm
- 3:54talking about. Because if you don't, you you
- 3:57don't see how this is affecting, you across the board.
- 4:01So I'm going to challenge you to look through your life and see
- 4:05are you in a constant state of hurry?
- 4:07Where do you show up for Hari all the time?
- 4:09What are those things that you are doing to yourself all the
- 4:12time that Cause this and I say doing to yourself, because we do
- 4:17not have to be in a hurry, we can change things.
- 4:21If it means getting up a little bit earlier, do it.
- 4:25I, I can't tell you how much I have to stress, this to my
- 4:28clients because the reality is, well, it's always a hurry in our
- 4:32house in the morning. Why is it always in a hurry?
- 4:34Well, people can't find things. Well, it's just tough to get the
- 4:37kids out the door or it's tough to get myself out the door.
- 4:40I always get distracted. Look at the patterns of what's
- 4:43Pausing. You look at the patterns of
- 4:45your, you know, when you wake up, are you checking email right
- 4:48away? Are you responding to emails
- 4:50that don't need you to respond to them?
- 4:52Urgently for hours, yet you are doing it at 6:00 in the morning,
- 4:56it might mean that you actually have to wake up a half hour
- 5:00earlier in order to have your day be peaceful.
- 5:03You know, one of my practices that I do for myself and I truly
- 5:07do this for myself because it makes me feel good.
- 5:09I love to make muffins. I don't know what it is.
- 5:12I like to bake my Muffins and I love to get up early in the
- 5:15morning and make muffins before anybody else is up.
- 5:18So when they wake up, there's hot muffins and this is somewhat
- 5:22of a active meditation for me. Someone it just fills my soul, I
- 5:26like the smell in the house. I like the act of doing it and I
- 5:29do nothing else. While I'm making those muffins,
- 5:32I'm not listening to anything. I'm not doing anything.
- 5:34I'm just in the present moment making those muffins, but that
- 5:37requires that I get up 45 minutes earlier but it's worth
- 5:40it to me because it sets the tone for my day.
- 5:42I feel great. And I'm not in a state of
- 5:45rushing if I have to make muffins and rush to do it, to
- 5:48try to get the feeling the whole purpose of it is gone.
- 5:51So look at your patterns, see what you need to do, in order to
- 5:54help yourself with this and for the love of God.
- 5:57And all that's holy stop rushing around because you're causing
- 6:01your body, so much distress so much.
- 6:03Anguish so much disagrees that you are going to get yourself
- 6:07sick. And if you can't conquer this,
- 6:10I'm telling you. If you don't choose, let me
- 6:13rephrase that That if you don't choose to conquer this, you will
- 6:16meet with that fact where someone will save you, you have
- 6:19hypertension, you have high blood pressure, you have this
- 6:23issue, you have an ulcer, you have migraines, you have, you
- 6:27know, your neck is constantly, so stressed that there's no
- 6:30blood going to it, these things will show up and then they only
- 6:34get worse from there. You're having heart issues,
- 6:37you're having liver issues because of all the toxicity in
- 6:41your body. So do yourself a Over while you
- 6:44have the opportunity, take advantage of it.
- 6:46Stop hurrying, it'll kill you. I hope you guys are well, and I
- 6:51hope you have a very peaceful day and I will see you all
- 6:54tomorrow.
