[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, welcome again to football Friday, Kim Bo Kamper, Joe Rose, and Joe, let's first let's kind of rehash the whole business, not really old, but the loss of Tyreek.
• 0:50
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, what a gruesome thing, and nothing, I don't care what you think about Tyreek.
• 0:55
[SPEAKER_01]: The guy gets energy to this team, he's a big presence, he's a big personality, he's a really good player, and a really good player, and you put all that together on a team that's kind
• 1:07
[SPEAKER_01]: And you lose him, somebody's got to feel avoid, but first of all, Tyree boy, you got to just be a horrible, horrible for what he didn't do yet.
• 1:14
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, vote, you play football, you know, something like this can happen.
• 1:18
[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I never expected that from a guy that's so athletic and just shows it, you know, you never know when when your time comes to get that serious engine, we wish him only the best coming back for Tyree kill going forward.
• 1:31
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the news I've heard from them was it was a, they were able to get it quickly, uh, which, which helped from us, yeah, a standpoint of nerve stuff.
• 1:40
[SPEAKER_01]: And so he's going to have an opportunity.
• 1:42
[SPEAKER_02]: But boy, it's going to be a, it's going to be a long, long road tough road tough road for him coming back and to get injured, but, and listen, I thought he's having a good year considering the way he was being used.
• 1:52
[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't down the field stuff.
• 1:54
[SPEAKER_02]: It was mostly underneath, but he did nice job.
• 1:56
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's talk about that a little bit.
• 1:58
[SPEAKER_01]: Going back two games ago where you started to see Mike, I thought Mike had a pretty good game plan up in Buffalo.
• 2:05
  [SPEAKER_01]: Great.
• 2:06
  [SPEAKER_01]: That's game plan.
• 2:06
[SPEAKER_01]: And then you come back this week against the jets.
• 2:10
[SPEAKER_01]: And again, he throws, you know, been two out of the puck early on.
• 2:14
[SPEAKER_01]: You saw two get out of the pocket, buck good ball handling, you know ball fake, get out of the tie, reek coming across, you hit that crosser.
• 2:21
  [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's what we've seen before.
• 2:22
[SPEAKER_01]: Got him out of the pocket,
• 2:26
[SPEAKER_01]: and and help that way.
• 2:28
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think if you continue to do that, I thought you had another another good game plan.
• 2:32
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 2:33
[SPEAKER_01]: You continue to do that.
• 2:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's some more especially with this run recording and Carolina this week.
• 2:38
[SPEAKER_01]: And then you get kind of back to the routine of, you know, so we've been, you know, game, you know, Thursday night game.
• 2:44
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 2:45
[SPEAKER_01]: two days to send you a walk here for a while for about a month or so.
• 2:49
[SPEAKER_02]: So let's talk about this for a second to your point.
• 2:53
[SPEAKER_02]: His game plans have been great.
• 2:54
[SPEAKER_02]: He and his coaching staff put together his play calling was I thought in this last game against the jets one of the best I've seen.
• 3:02
[SPEAKER_02]: uh... getting to outside the pocket as you mentioned also sticking with the run game i mean what we've been running a ball well it's been uh... nice yards per carry but we have run the ball enough and he stuck with it i thought it helped the bootlegs it helped get outside the pocket the timing with two outside the pocket and his receivers wide open i mean might dialed up some plays and in the second part that's connected to that is there in wall
• 3:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I had no idea listen you and I been around this game for a long time a guy takes a year off Mrs. two camps comes back.
• 3:34
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't know if he's going to quit you know if he's injured and he ends up not playing at all.
• 3:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: This guy shows up.
• 3:40
[SPEAKER_02]: He looks 25 years old separation looked athletic has two touchdowns in his first game in the red zone.
• 3:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Mike used him perfectly and two of got him the both of
• 3:50
[SPEAKER_01]: get some an early route early on, gets him into the game.
• 3:52
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it was a, didn't get touched on the routes.
• 3:54
[SPEAKER_01]: They were able to catch the football, get into it, and then they lean on him on a fourth and four.
• 4:00
[SPEAKER_01]: and you give him the ball in the end zone.
• 4:02
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 4:03
[SPEAKER_01]: That takes some balls from Mike 4th and 4th to go with him without having that probably hadn't had much contact at all in that game.
• 4:11
  [SPEAKER_01]: Probably.
• 4:12
[SPEAKER_02]: None going in that game.
• 4:13
[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, not even when he got into the game, maybe got tackled.
• 4:16
[SPEAKER_02]: So now you're the Panthers, you're the Chargers, some of the games coming up.
• 4:21
[SPEAKER_02]: You now go, hey, they got a six, six target that used to be really good.
• 4:24
[SPEAKER_02]: We got to go back and watch to see how they're using them and how good he is and how we're going to defend them because he's a tough one all on that chip.
• 4:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: I never thought we'd say that.
• 4:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: Especially Carolina.
• 4:35
  [SPEAKER_01]: You look at Carolina.
• 4:35
[SPEAKER_01]: They started working on the game plan for this game before Monday night's game.
• 4:41
[SPEAKER_01]: Now all of a sudden you come and go, oh, now we got wall or in, now we got to go through a whole group.
• 4:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Now we got to scrap and replace on the defensive side.
• 4:49
[SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of good things.
• 4:50
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's, so let's kind of talk about that going on the road again, which I don't, you know, Carolina is not a, you know, it's not a crazy stadium.
• 4:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's not Buffalo.
• 4:59
  [SPEAKER_01]: It's not Baltimore.
• 5:00
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not one of these places.
• 5:01
  [SPEAKER_01]: No.
• 5:01
[SPEAKER_01]: We're, you know, we're, you know, the fans are just there and you're having cocktails and stuff instead of beers and liquor and all that jumping off tables there you go there you go and and not only that, but right Sean okay, he's about rating about this point about so it's all right, so I don't think I don't know I don't know I'm just talking about
• 5:21
  [SPEAKER_01]: top to bottom.
• 5:22
[SPEAKER_01]: You look, it's one of those rocks.
• 5:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: You look at you.
• 5:24
  [SPEAKER_01]: Who's that guy?
• 5:25
  [SPEAKER_01]: Who's that?
• 5:25
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, you don't know.
• 5:26
  [SPEAKER_01]: There's not, there's not somebody.
• 5:27
[SPEAKER_01]: Usually you can go on any team.
• 5:29
[SPEAKER_01]: There's one guy jumps out at you while we got to take care of this guy.
• 5:33
[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't seem to be many of them on their football team.
• 5:35
  [SPEAKER_02]: They got beat up.
• 5:37
[SPEAKER_02]: They got embarrassed at New England last week.
• 5:39
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
• 5:39
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think dolphins don't look at that.
• 5:41
[SPEAKER_02]: And they got to go, if we're going to get this thing turned around.
• 5:44
[SPEAKER_02]: we need to put together a complete game.
• 5:47
[SPEAKER_02]: Take care of the run defense that we've had problems with, get our running game going, you need to go beat the Carolina Panthers.
• 5:54
[SPEAKER_01]: And you've got to beat them.
• 5:55
[SPEAKER_01]: You got to beat them up.
• 5:56
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's just there and look, and one of the things I'm one of the reasons I'm saying is I'm starting to get optimistic about this offense that Mike's kind of
• 6:08
[SPEAKER_01]: and, you know, and we're seeing more downfield stuff, they're pressing it a little bit, but again, you know, it's going to take, you know, you're going to have guys, you know, certainly, while it's got to step up, uh, Kenie, he's got to step up, he's got to step up, I'm going to leave watch.
• 6:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he's going to step up bigger, we're just going to put a bigger role in them, but with, again, which is butchers a little bit by the emergence of Darren Waller, gives them a, that gives that a whole, to me, that gives a whole presence,
• 6:34
[SPEAKER_01]: in the middle of the field that these wide receivers can work off and not to get the running back.
• 6:38
  [SPEAKER_01]: A-chan.
• 6:39
[SPEAKER_01]: He's the most underrated guy in the league right now.
• 6:41
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm actually looking to see, let's keep A-chan doing, but get, get, get, I like to see all you Gordon in the passing game a little bit.
• 6:49
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, just get him, because I during the free training camp, preseason games, I thought he caught the ball well, because he run routes with him.
• 6:55
  [SPEAKER_01]: He blocks.
• 6:56
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd like to see him get the full of the full, full combo.
• 6:59
[SPEAKER_02]: We got special running back in H and I know we don't want to beat him up here early in the season, but he is a special player.
• 7:05
[SPEAKER_02]: That was a great pick out of Texas and him.
• 7:10
[SPEAKER_01]: You can do whatever you know it's amazing.
• 7:11
[SPEAKER_01]: You can use it outside.
• 7:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: You shouldn't run outside.
• 7:14
[SPEAKER_01]: And it looks like he's stone.
• 7:16
[SPEAKER_01]: And he comes up 10 yards.
• 7:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: Five yards, eight yards.
• 7:19
  [SPEAKER_01]: Just, just.
• 7:20
[SPEAKER_01]: So I do it against the Colt.
• 7:21
  [SPEAKER_02]: He did against Jets.
• 7:22
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 7:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Look identical place bouncing off guys.
• 7:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Got into the end zone.
• 7:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 7:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: But, but, but, but, both they got, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're
• 7:39
[SPEAKER_01]: That your defense gets healthy.
• 7:41
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about the front seven.
• 7:43
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about the running game I'm talking about the two defensive tackles in the middle I'm talking about the brush linebackers talking about the inside linebacks.
• 7:51
[SPEAKER_01]: We played pretty pretty well You know, we were talking about it earlier the best best position on the defense so far It's been the two cornerbacks now and that was the biggest concern going in yeah, and now they're they're the best guys So that that rest of that group
• 8:05
[SPEAKER_01]: has to step up and this is a game to get healthy on your with your stats and get healthy and your confidence that you're gonna start playing better defense and we have this far.
• 8:15
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a...
• 8:16
[SPEAKER_02]: It is worth talking about and it's going to be the first game for a full game without Tyre Keele.
• 8:21
[SPEAKER_02]: That energy, that guy out talking and getting fired up, telling everybody what they're going to do.
• 8:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm curious to see what it's going to look like without him because he was their number one weapon, no matter he still, it was their number one weapon.
• 8:34
[SPEAKER_02]: But I just like, and if you're serious about having coming back home and trying to get back to 500 against the charges,
• 8:41
[SPEAKER_02]: you need to take care of business all of a sudden you got to wake up call you lose those first three games you got to come back and start playing better and better more take away take care of the ball like they did last week keep the penalties down and and make people look full of you speak of the turnovers two turnovers 14 points off the turnovers so you make you made the game made hey and a second half yeah great plays a set up your offense all right Joe I'm going with it offence I'm going to offense big in this two dolphins no Carolina that's gonna do it
• 9:11
[SPEAKER_01]: For football Friday, Kim Bo Campford, Dover.
