- 0:10Speaker 3: Deagle Double Jizzle. Bang, boom, what you gonna do?
- 0:12Speaker 4: John Jay and Richie.
- 0:14Speaker 5: We're not talking.
- 0:14Speaker 2: About Ren 1010.
- 0:15Speaker 3: We're not talking about Lassie.
- 0:17Speaker 6: It's the one and only dog, y'all.
- 0:18Speaker 3: The classy, sassy, big Snoopy Deagle Double Jizzle. In your
- 0:21Speaker 3: face to me and in the place to be. And
- 0:23Speaker 3: you're listening to John Jay and Rich.
- 0:25Speaker 6: Wake your ass up. Today is National.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Name Your Car Day. Does everybody have a name for
- 0:31Speaker 3: their car?
- 0:31Speaker 6: I used to. I used to.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I think it's important to name your car. It gives
- 0:35Speaker 3: it a little personality.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't name your car?
- 0:38Speaker 7: Oh, I name all my cars.
- 0:39Speaker 3: What's your current car's name?
- 0:40Speaker 7: My current car's name right now is Sylvie.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Sylvie. Mine is Mooshie.
- 0:45Speaker 6: Cute.
- 0:45Speaker 3: We rhyme.
- 0:46Speaker 6: John Jay, what's the name of your car? Oh, thanks
- 0:48Speaker 6: for asking, Rich, because I'm the first one that said
- 0:50Speaker 6: I named my car. I used to. Thanks.
- 0:51Speaker 3: You said I named my car.
- 0:52Speaker 6: I used to. I said I used to. Oh, really?
- 0:53Speaker 6: You did? What did you name your car?
- 0:55Speaker 8: Oh, okay.
- 0:55Speaker 6: There's a story behind it. I'm glad you asked. So
- 0:58Speaker 6: my first car I ever bought, it was a Grand
- 1:02Speaker 6: Jeep Cherokee. I named it Jake. Way before I had kids.
- 1:06Speaker 6: And here I have my son. My oldest son's name
- 1:07Speaker 6: is Jake.
- 1:08Speaker 9: Why did you name the car Jake?
- 1:09Speaker 6: Just because you liked that name?
- 1:10Speaker 8: No idea.
- 1:10Speaker 6: That was a cool name.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 1:11Speaker 6: And then I had a diary, and my diary's name
- 1:13Speaker 6: was Jake. And I used to write in my diary,
- 1:15Speaker 6: Dear Jake.
- 1:15Speaker 10: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:16Speaker 9: It was like foreshadowing in your life.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Isn't it wild?
- 1:18Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:18Speaker 6: Go ahead, Rich.
- 1:19Speaker 3: That's great. National Smarties Day. Can you name your Smarties?
- 1:24Speaker 6: No, I eat them.
- 1:25Speaker 3: National Produce Misting Day. I don't know why that needs
- 1:28Speaker 3: a day. National Body Language Day, World Smile Day. And
- 1:32Speaker 3: I love these two. It's Guardian Angel Day. And my
- 1:35Speaker 3: favorite on the list is National Audiophile Day. That's right.
- 1:39Speaker 3: For the audio snobs that still say records sound better
- 1:43Speaker 3: than anything else, I am one of those people. National
- 1:46Speaker 3: Audiophile Day.
- 1:47Speaker 9: Have you guys ever completely freaked out, like really started
- 1:50Speaker 9: freaking out, and then realized you got the story totally wrong?
- 1:53Speaker 9: Because that happens.
- 1:54Speaker 6: I think that happens a lot on this radio show. Actually,
- 1:57Speaker 6: with you and your news. What are you talking about?
- 1:59Speaker 6: How many times have you done news and you're like, oh,
- 2:01Speaker 6: wait a minute, I read that wrong.
- 2:03Speaker 9: Yeah, a couple of times.
- 2:03Speaker 3: But this was actually very scary.
- 2:08Speaker 9: I don't really go on Facebook very often, but every
- 2:10Speaker 9: once in a while, Facebook sends me emails of like
- 2:12Speaker 9: things my friends post or things my friends are tagged in.
- 2:15Speaker 9: And sometimes it'll intrigue me and I'll click on it. Well,
- 2:18Speaker 9: I got that email just the other day and it said.
- 2:23Speaker 9: Jordan Schnitzer has died in a terrible, tragic accident. And
- 2:27Speaker 9: I was like, oh my God, that's one of my
- 2:29Speaker 9: really good friends' husbands. Like we're at their wedding. Like
- 2:32Speaker 9: they have four beautiful kids. Like they're an amazing family.
- 2:34Speaker 9: Like he's an amazing person. And I started like really
- 2:36Speaker 9: freaking out. Like, oh my gosh, what do I text her? Like,
- 2:39Speaker 9: we haven't spoken in a long time because she lives
- 2:41Speaker 9: in a different state. Like- is it weird to reach
- 2:43Speaker 9: out to her? Cause I saw this post or is
- 2:45Speaker 9: it like one of those things that they're putting out? Like,
- 2:47Speaker 9: I just, I went down the rabbit hole of like,
- 2:48Speaker 9: oh my gosh, I have to like start. And I
- 2:50Speaker 9: literally start writing a text to her. Like, I just
- 2:53Speaker 9: saw the news. I'm so sorry. Like, if you need
- 2:55Speaker 9: us to fly out, we can fly out to be
- 2:57Speaker 9: with you and help however. And I'm like, I feel
- 3:00Speaker 9: like maybe I need to click the story for whatever reason.
- 3:03Speaker 9: So I paused the text that I was writing her
- 3:06Speaker 9: and And I clicked on the story and it was
- 3:09Speaker 9: a different Jordan Schnitzer.
- 3:11Speaker 6: What are the chances of two Jordan Schnitzers?
- 3:13Speaker 9: And I'm like, why?
- 3:14Speaker 6: No relation?
- 3:15Speaker 9: Why would Facebook send this to me? I don't follow
- 3:16Speaker 9: this other person.
- 3:18Speaker 6: That's wild.
- 3:18Speaker 9: I had no idea why like this story had popped up,
- 3:21Speaker 9: but I was like, thank God I didn't send that
- 3:23Speaker 9: text message because then that probably would have made her go.
- 3:27Speaker 9: Then I picture her. She's not with her husband and
- 3:29Speaker 9: she gets this news from me that her husband died.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Oh my God.
- 3:33Speaker 9: I was like, yeah, I got that story totally wrong.
- 3:36Speaker 6: Did you tell her?
- 3:37Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Yes.
- 3:38Speaker 9: And so then I erased the text message and I
- 3:40Speaker 9: was like, oh my gosh, you're never going to believe this.
- 3:43Speaker 9: Like I just received this message and Jordan died, but
- 3:46Speaker 9: it turns out it wasn't him. So thank God. But
- 3:49Speaker 9: obviously like condolences to that family because that's really sad.
- 3:52Speaker 6: So Jordan, the Jordan you know is happy and healthy?
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:55Speaker 9: He's doing great.
- 3:56Speaker 6: Do you know anything about that Jordan Schnitzer?
- 3:58Speaker 12: No.
- 3:58Speaker 6: I'm just curious growing up if his nickname was Wiener.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Wiener Schnitzer. Wiener Schnitzer.
- 4:03Speaker 7: Oh, interesting.
- 4:04Speaker 3: You had to have heard that.
- 4:07Speaker 6: Of course you had. That's a tough name. Jordan Schnitzer.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:10Speaker 6: He's a great guy.
- 4:11Speaker 3: You wouldn't think there'd be a bunch of them out there.
- 4:13Speaker 6: How did the other Jordan Schnitzer die?
- 4:15Speaker 9: It was a car accident. It was like a really
- 4:17Speaker 9: bad car accident. And a bunch of people passed away
- 4:20Speaker 9: in it, including Jordan.
- 4:22Speaker 6: Yeah, really sad. I'm looking at you tell a story
- 4:24Speaker 6: and I'm looking at your hair because you got your
- 4:26Speaker 6: hair done.
- 4:26Speaker 13: Yes.
- 4:27Speaker 6: And it was a big deal. You're talking about your hair.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Well, this all happened.
- 4:30Speaker 9: I saw this while I was getting my hair done.
- 4:32Speaker 9: I was like sitting in the chair.
- 4:33Speaker 3: I was like freaking out.
- 4:33Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 6: Okay. Well, I totally forgot this, but yesterday was National
- 4:37Speaker 6: Hair Day.
- 4:37Speaker 8: Oh.
- 4:38Speaker 6: And I have a whole thing I never got to.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Today is National Hair Day.
- 4:43Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 4:48Speaker 14: He's big.
- 4:48Speaker 3: He's hairy.
- 4:49Speaker 5: He's sometimes smelly.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Everybody, just please watch the hair.
- 4:59Speaker 9: Watch the hair! You didn't sign the shampoo agreement. How
- 5:02Speaker 9: do I know if you double pooed?
- 5:06Speaker 6: You thought I was kidding.
- 5:10Speaker 14: Today's national hair day.
- 5:12Speaker 9: No, I work on my hair a long time and
- 5:14Speaker 9: you hit it.
- 5:15Speaker 3: He hits my hair.
- 5:16Speaker 6: That was yesterday. And then I see this today. There's
- 5:18Speaker 6: a clip going viral from a girl, a woman that
- 5:21Speaker 6: goes to great clips because she likes to play what's
- 5:23Speaker 6: called haircut roulette. Oh, that's scary. Yeah. Listen to this.
- 5:27Speaker 6: Listen to this.
- 5:27Speaker 15: I got my haircut today at great clips. And a
- 5:29Speaker 15: lot of women are probably thinking, why would you do that?
- 5:31Speaker 15: You never know what you're going to get.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 5:34Speaker 15: That's the fun part. It was like haircut roulette. So
- 5:36Speaker 15: I walk in and I'm like, hey, just a little trim,
- 5:39Speaker 15: just get the dead ends off. Lady's like, got it.
- 5:41Speaker 15: And before she gets out a brush to brush it
- 5:43Speaker 15: or a comb to part my hair, she just grabs
- 5:46Speaker 15: the scissors out and starts cutting.
- 5:48Speaker 7: No parts, no nothing, just starts cutting.
- 5:51Speaker 15: And I was watching my hair hit the floor like
- 5:53Speaker 15: inch by inch by inch by inch.
- 5:54Speaker 4: And I was like, wow.
- 5:56Speaker 7: We're making a wig for somebody else today.
- 5:58Speaker 6: We cut a lot off. It's a lot.
- 6:00Speaker 7: It's not a trim.
- 6:01Speaker 15: It's a whole new haircut.
- 6:02Speaker 7: But at the end of the day, I kind of
- 6:05Speaker 7: like it.
- 6:05Speaker 6: You know what's funny about that is I think a
- 6:07Speaker 6: guy can do that because most guys have got short hair.
- 6:10Speaker 6: But like Kyle, you got long hair. If they chopped
- 6:12Speaker 6: your hair off, you'd be freaked out.
- 6:14Speaker 9: And that's why I do not play haircut roulette. Like
- 6:17Speaker 9: I go to Allison every time because I know what
- 6:20Speaker 9: I'm going to get. Because, yeah, no, every girl knows
- 6:22Speaker 9: that that's a dangerous situation.
- 6:24Speaker 6: My last haircut, I went to my barber and I
- 6:26Speaker 6: was just like, you know what, just cut it really,
- 6:27Speaker 6: really short. Just cut it short. So he used the
- 6:30Speaker 6: one and he cut it really short. And then when
- 6:32Speaker 6: I came home, my wife was like, not into it.
- 6:35Speaker 6: Didn't like it. And I was like, I haven't had
- 6:36Speaker 6: a haircut since, but I feel like it's grown back.
- 6:38Speaker 6: It's been like two weeks. It grows back fast. I know,
- 6:40Speaker 6: but I can't imagine if you cut all your hair off.
- 6:42Speaker 14: Oh, God, no.
- 6:43Speaker 7: It would take forever.
- 6:43Speaker 8: Right.
- 6:44Speaker 6: It takes forever for girls.
- 6:45Speaker 8: And plus, like, I have curly hair. And so if
- 6:47Speaker 8: you do one wrong cut, then you're in bad shape.
- 6:50Speaker 8: But for her, like, it makes me concerned about her. Like,
- 6:53Speaker 8: what is she going through that is making her do
- 6:54Speaker 8: haircut roulette?
- 6:55Speaker 16: That's so true.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Like, she must be really going through.
- 6:59Speaker 16: I don't know if this is the sexiest thing to say,
- 7:05Speaker 16: but I just didn't picture it because all the women
- 7:06Speaker 16: around me in my life have always gone to places
- 7:08Speaker 16: to get their hair done.
- 7:10Speaker 6: And I feel like great clips is like for guys,
- 7:13Speaker 6: like simple, like short hair.
- 7:15Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, that's.
- 7:16Speaker 9: Kind of like, I guess, the reputation you would think
- 7:19Speaker 9: of for that.
- 7:20Speaker 6: The kids, guys, like I would expect, because women have,
- 7:23Speaker 6: and by the way, this video of her, she's got
- 7:24Speaker 6: really nice hair. Like, she's got hair like yours, Kyle.
- 7:27Speaker 6: She's into it.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, yeah.
- 7:28Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, no, she looks great.
- 7:29Speaker 3: She does.
- 7:30Speaker 15: And a lot of women are probably thinking, why would
- 7:31Speaker 15: you do that?
- 7:32Speaker 6: Yeah, she's got a nice hairdo.
- 7:33Speaker 7: So she's going through something.
- 7:33Speaker 6: So shout out to Great Clips.
- 7:35Speaker 5: Big shout out.
- 7:36Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, she's very adventurous.
- 7:37Speaker 9: I mean, like, you think about, like, it takes almost
- 7:38Speaker 9: four hours for me to get my hair done. And
- 7:40Speaker 9: so we talk about a lot of things. And so
- 7:43Speaker 9: she was literally telling me the craziest story about him.
- 7:45Speaker 9: In her neighborhood, they don't let people park on the road.
- 7:48Speaker 9: And she's gotten her car towed before.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Oh, on the street in front of the house?
- 7:52Speaker 9: Yeah, and so she noticed that this young couple was
- 7:56Speaker 9: about to leave the car on the side of the road.
- 7:57Speaker 9: And so she was like, and then I looked down
- 7:59Speaker 9: the road, and the tow truck was there waiting for me.
- 8:02Speaker 9: for them because someone had already called to tell on
- 8:04Speaker 9: these people she's like so i thought i would go
- 8:06Speaker 9: over and give them a heads up to move their
- 8:09Speaker 9: car she said she did and when she did the
- 8:11Speaker 9: tow truck driver gave her a really evil eye came
- 8:15Speaker 9: flipped her off and followed her home followed her home
- 8:18Speaker 9: and she like she's like and i was kind of
- 8:20Speaker 9: scared to get out of my car because like she
- 8:22Speaker 9: loves alone and she's like this is a really scary
- 8:24Speaker 9: situation he's following me home she said i got out
- 8:27Speaker 9: of my car and like and he goes that was
- 8:30Speaker 9: really nice of you to do for those people and
- 8:32Speaker 9: she's like thanks and went inside and she's like now
- 8:35Speaker 9: i don't know like.
- 8:37Speaker 6: What's wrong Was he saying that was really nice to
- 8:39Speaker 6: do with those people?
- 8:40Speaker 3: Sarcastic?
- 8:41Speaker 6: Crazy? She said it.
- 8:43Speaker 9: Sounded really creepy. And she's like, I didn't know, because
- 8:45Speaker 9: you know that tow truck driver is going to get
- 8:47Speaker 9: money off of that job.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Oh, yeah, she took money away from him.
- 8:50Speaker 8: I wonder if, too, maybe there's a connection with the
- 8:53Speaker 8: HOA president and the tow truck driver.
- 8:55Speaker 7: Maybe they own the tow truck business.
- 8:57Speaker 8: Maybe.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Also, if you think somebody followed you, why would you
- 9:00Speaker 3: go home?
- 9:01Speaker 7: That's right.
- 9:02Speaker 9: I should have said that.
- 9:03Speaker 3: What were you thinking?
- 9:04Speaker 10: You need to be safe.
- 9:05Speaker 6: Yeah. That's crazy.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I would drive right to the police station if I
- 9:07Speaker 3: thought I was being followed. Who knew we were going
- 9:09Speaker 3: to hear that story on National Hair Day?
- 9:11Speaker 1: Wow.
- 9:12Speaker 6: Tow truck. And you know what's funny? When you say tow,
- 9:15Speaker 6: I think T-O-E. Of course you do. Not T-O-W. How
- 9:19Speaker 6: is there not an Instagram page on that? Famous tow
- 9:23Speaker 6: truck drivers with nice feet. T-O-E.
- 9:25Speaker 9: Toes, toes.
- 9:26Speaker 6: Toes, toes.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:28Speaker 8: All right.
- 9:28Speaker 6: It's John Jane Rich. Hey, what's the vibe for horoscopes today?
- 9:34Speaker 8: We're heading right into the weekend, so I am letting
- 9:37Speaker 8: you know the person that you become after you've had a.
- 9:40Speaker 7: Few at the bar.
- 9:41Speaker 8: If it's your birthday today, you are a Libra, and
- 9:43Speaker 8: you share a birthday with Ruby Rose, Gandhi, Huda from
- 9:46Speaker 8: Huda Beauty, Sting, and Kelly Ripa.
- 9:49Speaker 7: Kyle is our Libra, so I'm just going to start
- 9:50Speaker 7: it off with you now.
- 9:52Speaker 8: So Libras, after you've had a few drinks, you literally
- 9:56Speaker 8: become the serial flirt. It is peak Libra season, and
- 9:59Speaker 8: you are using seasonal cocktails as liquid courage to flirt
- 10:02Speaker 8: with every single person in the room. You will leave
- 10:05Speaker 8: with four free drinks and three new phone numbers that
- 10:07Speaker 8: you have zero intention of texting back.
- 10:09Speaker 9: So what you're telling me is we're like the fun drunk.
- 10:12Speaker 9: That's exactly, exactly what.
- 10:14Speaker 7: I'm telling you.
- 10:14Speaker 6: Let's say hello to Carolina. Good morning. What's your sign?
- 10:18Speaker 13: Good morning, Gemini.
- 10:20Speaker 8: All right, so for my Geminis, after you guys have
- 10:22Speaker 8: had a few, you guys low-key become the bar hopper
- 10:25Speaker 8: from hell. You refuse to stay at one place for
- 10:27Speaker 8: more than 20 minutes.
- 10:28Speaker 7: You are dragging the group across three different bars.
- 10:30Speaker 8: You lost your jacket at the second one, and you
- 10:32Speaker 8: still made friends with a completely new group of people
- 10:34Speaker 8: in the bathroom line.
- 10:36Speaker 12: Oh, I got to try that then.
- 10:38Speaker 6: Carolina, have a great day. Thank you for listening. Christina,
- 10:42Speaker 6: good morning. What's your sign?
- 10:43Speaker 17: Hi, I'm a Leo.
- 10:45Speaker 8: Leo, okay, just like me, Christina, so when it comes
- 10:47Speaker 8: to us, after we've had a few drinks at the bar,
- 10:50Speaker 8: we become the tabletop performer. The second a throwback song
- 10:53Speaker 8: comes on, we are using the nearest bench or table
- 10:56Speaker 8: as our personal stage.
- 10:57Speaker 7: We demand everyone to take a.
- 10:59Speaker 8: Video of us taking a drink, fully expecting the entire
- 11:02Speaker 8: bar to cheer for us.
- 11:05Speaker 11: That is true.
- 11:06Speaker 8: Yeah, Grapevine Karaoke Bar in Scottsdale hates to see me
- 11:09Speaker 8: coming because.
- 11:12Speaker 7: I am working in the room.
- 11:14Speaker 8: Sorry.
- 11:14Speaker 7: And I'm playing program.
- 11:15Speaker 5: I love karaoke.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Yes.
- 11:17Speaker 9: That's funny.
- 11:18Speaker 6: What's your karaoke song?
- 11:21Speaker 4: Gosh, I'd have to go Adele, Rolling in the Deep.
- 11:25Speaker 6: Wow.
- 11:27Speaker 10: That's a good one.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Coming up.
- 11:29Speaker 12: Hot.
- 11:29Speaker 6: All right. Have a great day, Christina. Thanks for listening.
- 11:32Speaker 13: You too.
- 11:33Speaker 6: How about Pisces?
- 11:34Speaker 8: Yeah, Rich, when you've had a few at the bar,
- 11:37Speaker 8: you become a tragic romantic. You are drinking a sweet
- 11:40Speaker 8: seasonal cocktail. You are staring longingly at the ice cubes floating.
- 11:44Speaker 8: And you're going to text your ex saying, I hope
- 11:45Speaker 8: you're staying warm tonight. Before your friends can snatch your
- 11:48Speaker 8: phone out of your head and tell you that you
- 11:50Speaker 8: are making the.
- 11:50Speaker 7: Worst mistake of your life.
- 11:52Speaker 3: My wife says whenever I get buzzed, I start making
- 11:54Speaker 3: plans for us to go to Europe. Hey, let's go
- 11:57Speaker 3: to Europe right now.
- 11:58Speaker 6: That's funny. Well, back when I used to drink, I
- 12:03Speaker 6: remember one of the things I would do, and it'd
- 12:05Speaker 6: be interesting to see what you had for Virgo, but
- 12:07Speaker 6: if you guys remember, I would grab all my friends'
- 12:09Speaker 6: testicles and say, whose balls are these? Whose balls are these?
- 12:13Speaker 3: Whose balls?
- 12:13Speaker 6: Whose balls?
- 12:14Speaker 3: A little game show back at the bar.
- 12:15Speaker 6: Yeah, a fun little game show. What do you got
- 12:17Speaker 6: for Virgos, Peyton?
- 12:18Speaker 8: Yeah, Virgos, you guys become the off-duty bartender who is
- 12:22Speaker 8: low-key a little aggressive. You have spent the entire night
- 12:25Speaker 8: judging everyone at the bar. You are wiping down sticky
- 12:28Speaker 8: tables because they're getting on your elbows. And you are
- 12:30Speaker 8: stress calculating how the heck everyone is going to cover
- 12:34Speaker 8: this tab because all of your friends have just left you.
- 12:36Speaker 6: Okay. Didn't sound at all like whose balls are these. No.
- 12:41Speaker 6: All right. Sorry. If we didn't get to your sign,
- 12:44Speaker 6: they're all posted on our website, johnjanerich.com. So we're watching
- 12:51Speaker 6: the number one show on Paramount +. Yeah, yeah. It's
- 12:54Speaker 6: Teen Moms. Team Moms Baseball. It's the Kim Kardashian show
- 12:58Speaker 6: that's filmed. We've had some of the stars in the studio.
- 13:01Speaker 6: We talked about Tom Kyle and Richard finished it. But
- 13:03Speaker 6: the thing about this reality show is it's always way
- 13:06Speaker 6: more dramatic than it should be.
- 13:07Speaker 3: It's so wild. It's like they make one little comment
- 13:10Speaker 3: or one little thing that happens. And nobody lets it
- 13:13Speaker 3: go forever.
- 13:14Speaker 9: It keeps popping up.
- 13:16Speaker 3: It doesn't stop until it turns into a big blowout.
- 13:18Speaker 6: So we want to know, like, what's just way more dramatic?
- 13:20Speaker 6: They acted way more dramatic than they should have. Jaden,
- 13:23Speaker 6: good morning. What do you got? What was more dramatic
- 13:25Speaker 6: than it should have been?
- 13:26Speaker 17: So I'm honestly so bad about doing my dishes. And
- 13:30Speaker 17: my roommate had been getting annoyed because I'd low key
- 13:33Speaker 17: leave them in the sink for days. And one day
- 13:37Speaker 17: I came home and I guess she had had enough
- 13:39Speaker 17: and she put my dirty dishes on my bed. And yeah,
- 13:45Speaker 17: literally the worst part was like I had this pasta
- 13:48Speaker 17: pan and it was right in the middle of my
- 13:51Speaker 17: comforter and it had like dried up sauce, like.
- 13:54Speaker 14: Still stuck all over it.
- 13:56Speaker 17: And I called her and I was like, what the hell?
- 13:59Speaker 17: And she was like, you clearly like leaving them around.
- 14:02Speaker 17: So I figured they could live in your room.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 14:05Speaker 8: Right?
- 14:06Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:08Speaker 17: I was so annoyed and we didn't talk for a
- 14:12Speaker 17: few days after that. But honestly, I started doing my
- 14:17Speaker 17: dishes after that.
- 14:19Speaker 14: So it worked.
- 14:22Speaker 8: I had a teammate that did that to me in college.
- 14:25Speaker 8: We lived in one of those dorms where it was
- 14:26Speaker 8: like four of us that had.
- 14:28Speaker 7: Our separate rooms. We all shared one kitchen and like
- 14:30Speaker 7: a living space.
- 14:31Speaker 8: And she would put our dishes in our room and
- 14:33Speaker 8: it would make us mad because she would leave her
- 14:35Speaker 8: stuff all over the place. So we would just really
- 14:37Speaker 8: be cleaning up after her because we're putting her clothes
- 14:39Speaker 8: back in her room when she was putting our dishes
- 14:41Speaker 8: in ours.
- 14:41Speaker 9: But you know, that roommate was like, if I see
- 14:44Speaker 9: these dishes one more day, I'm going to lose it.
- 14:46Speaker 9: And then she walks out. She's like, the dishes are
- 14:48Speaker 9: still there.
- 14:49Speaker 3: That's it. That is it. Totally relatable.
- 14:52Speaker 6: Thanks, Jaden. Thanks for calling in.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 14:56Speaker 6: Anita, what's way more dramatic than it should have been?
- 15:00Speaker 14: Okay, so my daughter, who is a huge prankster, decided
- 15:04Speaker 14: to call me saying that she was in jail. What
- 15:08Speaker 14: caught me off guard, because I know that she is
- 15:11Speaker 14: a little prankster, is the voice recording from the jail
- 15:14Speaker 14: was like legit. So I really thought that her and
- 15:17Speaker 14: her friend got in trouble. Once she realized like how
- 15:21Speaker 14: terrified I was, she was like, oh my gosh, oh
- 15:23Speaker 14: my gosh, this is just a, it's a prank. And
- 15:26Speaker 14: I literally started bawling. I was so terrified. First off,
- 15:31Speaker 14: I was like, am I mad at her right now
- 15:33Speaker 14: or am I relieved? And that's why I'm crying.
- 15:37Speaker 3: You had to figure out your emotions before you could
- 15:41Speaker 3: yell at her.
- 15:42Speaker 13: Yeah, because I've been in jail.
- 15:45Speaker 14: And she was like, I want to say 18 at
- 15:47Speaker 14: the time. And I'm just like thinking back to these
- 15:50Speaker 14: girls that were in the jail when I was in it.
- 15:52Speaker 14: They're crying. They're scared. And I was just like, my
- 15:55Speaker 14: baby girl.
- 15:56Speaker 6: Do you want to share with us why you were
- 15:59Speaker 6: in jail for real?
- 16:00Speaker 14: So I had a unpaid ticket and got my license suspended.
- 16:05Speaker 14: And I got pulled over with a suspended license and
- 16:08Speaker 14: they took.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Me to jail.
- 16:10Speaker 6: How long were you in jail for?
- 16:11Speaker 14: I think I was there for two days.
- 16:13Speaker 16: Wow.
- 16:14Speaker 3: That's pretty intense.
- 16:15Speaker 6: And your daughter, when she pranks you and tells you
- 16:17Speaker 6: she's in jail, what does she say she was in
- 16:18Speaker 6: jail for?
- 16:19Speaker 4: She never told me.
- 16:21Speaker 14: She just said that she was in a lot of
- 16:22Speaker 14: trouble and that she was really scared. And then I
- 16:25Speaker 14: started getting, like, terrified. So then she was like, I'm
- 16:28Speaker 14: just joking.
- 16:29Speaker 4: I'm just joking.
- 16:30Speaker 14: So we never actually. She didn't get to probably the
- 16:32Speaker 14: best part of her prank of.
- 16:34Speaker 6: Why she was there.
- 16:34Speaker 3: How long ago was this?
- 16:37Speaker 14: Oh, goodness. I want to say probably about six years ago.
- 16:41Speaker 3: I mean, if you're up for it, we should prank
- 16:43Speaker 3: her back with something. We should think of something devious
- 16:47Speaker 3: and get her.
- 16:47Speaker 14: Oh, I like that.
- 16:48Speaker 6: Okay. Yeah.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Well, we'll get your number and we'll come up with something.
- 16:52Speaker 3: We'll get it.
- 16:52Speaker 14: Okay, let's do it.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Let's get her where it counts.
- 16:55Speaker 6: Let's tell her you've been in a car accident and
- 16:56Speaker 6: you died.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that's so dark.
- 16:59Speaker 6: What's the next level of being in jail? She's already
- 17:02Speaker 6: pranked her that she's in jail. You've got to go
- 17:04Speaker 6: a level higher than that. You've got to go higher
- 17:06Speaker 6: than that. I don't think I want.
- 17:09Speaker 14: To put any kind of car accident or death into
- 17:12Speaker 14: the universe.
- 17:14Speaker 6: Okay, then do parasailing. Parasailing accident. You're not going to
- 17:17Speaker 6: believe this. I went parasailing on a whim.
- 17:20Speaker 16: You're not going to believe this.
- 17:24Speaker 14: And maybe I broke my leg or something.
- 17:28Speaker 6: Did you see that story? That lady that was like
- 17:31Speaker 6: sitting under a tree, relaxing and somebody fell out of
- 17:34Speaker 6: a tree and landed on her. And she's like suing
- 17:36Speaker 6: the city or suing something.
- 17:38Speaker 7: Like sitting in the tree.
- 17:40Speaker 6: I don't know. I don't know if it was a concert.
- 17:41Speaker 6: I only saw the headline. I think it happened here.
- 17:43Speaker 7: That's crazy.
- 17:43Speaker 6: I'm not sure. I need it. Thanks for calling in.
- 17:45Speaker 7: Yeah, absolutely.
- 17:46Speaker 6: Thanks guys.
- 17:47Speaker 8: Aaliyah.
- 17:48Speaker 6: What was way more dramatic than it should have been?
- 17:52Speaker 18: Well, it started with my boyfriend pissing me off. He
- 17:57Speaker 18: went on a group trip and didn't tell me that
- 18:00Speaker 18: his ex ended up being there.
- 18:03Speaker 3: That sounds drama already. That doesn't sound like little drama.
- 18:06Speaker 3: That sounds like big drama.
- 18:07Speaker 18: Yes, but I may have escalated the drama because I
- 18:11Speaker 18: made a TikTok story about it. And I kind of
- 18:15Speaker 18: just thought it was like a funny little story for
- 18:17Speaker 18: my friends, but it blew up and people were like
- 18:20Speaker 18: obsessed with it and telling me to leave him and
- 18:24Speaker 18: all this. But I didn't tell him when I made
- 18:27Speaker 18: the TikTok. So he found out from a coworker telling
- 18:30Speaker 18: him and like, Came home mad because, you know, I
- 18:35Speaker 18: accidentally let 800,000 strangers vote on our relationship before we'd
- 18:39Speaker 18: even finished the argument.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 18:44Speaker 5: So I upped the drama. And it ended up being fine.
- 18:46Speaker 14: Like, he didn't even really talk to her on the trip.
- 18:47Speaker 13: But it just, it was on me.
- 18:50Speaker 14: But I made it more of a problem than it was,
- 18:52Speaker 14: you know?
- 18:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 6: All right. That's overly dramatic. That's very good. Very good.
- 18:56Speaker 13: I'm a little messy.
- 18:58Speaker 6: All right. Thanks, Aaliyah. Thanks for calling in.
- 19:00Speaker 14: Thanks.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Trouble getting through on the phone?
- 19:03Speaker 16: Text John J.
- 19:03Speaker 8: And Rich anytime.
- 19:04Speaker 16: Send JJR.
- 19:05Speaker 6: Send your message to 96893. I have stacks of information,
- 19:10Speaker 6: and Rich has life hacks. A lion's roar can be
- 19:15Speaker 6: heard up to five miles away. Whoa.
- 19:18Speaker 8: That's impressive.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I had no idea.
- 19:19Speaker 6: That's really impressive.
- 19:21Speaker 7: I mean, that's kind of nice.
- 19:22Speaker 8: I would hope that a lion roars when I'm five
- 19:24Speaker 8: miles away so I can stay away.
- 19:27Speaker 6: So check this out. Around 6,000 posts or tweets are
- 19:31Speaker 6: sent out on X, you know, Twitter, every second.
- 19:35Speaker 7: Oh, I believe that.
- 19:36Speaker 6: That's 500 million a day. But they're saying it's unclear
- 19:41Speaker 6: how many of them are actually humans rather than bots
- 19:43Speaker 6: and spam.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:45Speaker 8: And also, too, I wonder if that accounts for, because
- 19:47Speaker 8: I know a lot of times on X, what is it?
- 19:50Speaker 8: They'll say like, hey, Grok, explain this to me. So
- 19:53Speaker 8: I wonder how many of those are being accounted for, too.
- 19:56Speaker 3: I've heard that it's like 80% are not real. Like
- 19:59Speaker 3: that high.
- 20:00Speaker 6: I've heard that on Instagram too.
- 20:01Speaker 3: And maybe it might be even higher than that.
- 20:03Speaker 6: I don't know. My grandfather, so I'm half Dutch, half Mexican.
- 20:08Speaker 6: On my Dutch side, my grandfather went to China and
- 20:11Speaker 6: went to the Great Wall of China. My father went
- 20:14Speaker 6: to China, went to the Great Wall of China. And
- 20:16Speaker 6: he was a big fan of China and the Great
- 20:17Speaker 6: Wall of China and always told me stuff about it.
- 20:19Speaker 6: And when he died, my dad died, I was like,
- 20:21Speaker 6: I remember I was like literally holding his, touching his
- 20:25Speaker 6: dead body and I was crying. I told him. That
- 20:28Speaker 6: I would go to China, to the Great Wall of China, right?
- 20:31Speaker 6: And then later as I got out of time when
- 20:33Speaker 6: I was kind of like, you know, technically, Dad, can
- 20:35Speaker 6: I look it up? Like, I don't really want to
- 20:36Speaker 6: go to China. You know, I'm trying to get out
- 20:38Speaker 6: of it. You don't want to go. I don't want
- 20:39Speaker 6: to go. But I promised my dad I would. And
- 20:41Speaker 6: then I see this. If walking the Great Wall of
- 20:44Speaker 6: China is on your bucket list. you should know that
- 20:47Speaker 6: it would take you 18 months to walk all the
- 20:50Speaker 6: way around it. It's more than 5,500 miles long. It's
- 20:54Speaker 6: like walking across the entire United States and back.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Can you believe how long that thing is?
- 20:59Speaker 6: And that thing's freaking man-made. So it goes in a
- 21:02Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 21:02Speaker 9: You can't just see it from space.
- 21:04Speaker 3: It makes you wonder what they were trying to keep out. Yeah,
- 21:06Speaker 3: I think I knew that.
- 21:06Speaker 6: That is so insane, but how they built that is
- 21:08Speaker 6: so insane.
- 21:09Speaker 3: It's insane. It's one of those things that you think
- 21:11Speaker 3: about 5,000 miles.
- 21:13Speaker 6: But the steps you would get. Oh, for sure. Yeah.
- 21:16Speaker 6: Which I think he would like. Yeah. There's an emerging trend.
- 21:20Speaker 6: I want you to think about this for a second.
- 21:21Speaker 6: You ever been on a bar crawl?
- 21:22Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 6: I've done that before, yeah. Well, there's a new trend
- 21:25Speaker 6: called park crawls. It's for kids' birthdays. Where you hit
- 21:28Speaker 6: up three or four of the best parks with a
- 21:29Speaker 6: rowdy screaming group.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Ugh.
- 21:31Speaker 6: And you hit a bunch of different parks with your kids,
- 21:33Speaker 6: different birthdays with your kids.
- 21:33Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 21:34Speaker 9: You do have to do your research, though.
- 21:36Speaker 8: I took my nephew, Chosen, he's two, to the park
- 21:38Speaker 8: around the corner from our house. Apparently, it's like a
- 21:41Speaker 8: ninja park. The park was almost too difficult for me.
- 21:44Speaker 8: And I'm 28. I couldn't even do the monkey bars.
- 21:46Speaker 8: It was very complex.
- 21:47Speaker 6: Well, they're saying you get in a bus. You rent
- 21:49Speaker 6: a bus like you do a party bus. And you
- 21:50Speaker 6: just hit all these parks with a bunch of kids.
- 21:52Speaker 6: And they say... Some people say it's genius and other
- 21:54Speaker 6: people call it a nightmare because you have to supervise
- 21:56Speaker 6: all these kids and organize getting them off the bus.
- 21:58Speaker 7: I think that sounds.
- 21:59Speaker 9: Like a nightmare to me.
- 22:01Speaker 7: I'm like, that sounds fun.
- 22:02Speaker 9: Yeah, because when you're ready to go to the next
- 22:04Speaker 9: park and they don't want to and then they're crying
- 22:06Speaker 9: because you're going to a park, you're like, what am
- 22:07Speaker 9: I doing this for?
- 22:08Speaker 6: All right, so get this. In Wisconsin, a group of
- 22:12Speaker 6: professional skydivers, so they were going to jump out of
- 22:14Speaker 6: an airplane. They were in the airplane and they see
- 22:17Speaker 6: another airplane crash.
- 22:19Speaker 15: Oh, no.
- 22:20Speaker 6: So the skydivers all jump from their own aircraft to
- 22:24Speaker 6: reach the victims. And all the people in the plane survived.
- 22:27Speaker 6: Like they weren't able to. Can you imagine? The plane
- 22:29Speaker 6: crashes and you look up and you see people perishing down. Yeah,
- 22:32Speaker 6: you okay?
- 22:33Speaker 3: That's God's hand right there. Nothing but.
- 22:36Speaker 6: Nearly 300 dogs descended on a Nevada water park for
- 22:39Speaker 6: an event that broke the Guinness World Record for the
- 22:41Speaker 6: most dogs attending a dog pool party. That's so fun.
- 22:45Speaker 6: The weather right now here, to me, is fantastic. It
- 22:48Speaker 6: was even a little chilly when I walked outside this morning.
- 22:51Speaker 6: But Farmer's Almanac has put together a list of the
- 22:53Speaker 6: 10 worst weather states in the United States. The 10
- 22:58Speaker 6: worst weather states. North Carolina, Illinois, Georgia, Missouri, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Louisiana.
- 23:05Speaker 6: florida and number one.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Is uh arizona nope uh new york texas.
- 23:12Speaker 9: Oh yeah but in colorado if you don't like the
- 23:15Speaker 9: weather you just wait 15 minutes oh you do.
- 23:17Speaker 6: Let me see what's to say about colorado it says
- 23:19Speaker 6: colorado it's on there colorado is the hail capital of
- 23:21Speaker 6: the united states the state averages 94 hail events a
- 23:24Speaker 6: year 151 million in annual hail damage and has seen
- 23:28Speaker 6: 38 billion dollar hailstorms since 1980.
- 23:30Speaker 9: That is true my my brother-in-law he has like a
- 23:33Speaker 9: like a roofing company, and they do get a lot
- 23:35Speaker 9: of hail damage.
- 23:36Speaker 13: Hail.
- 23:37Speaker 6: What do you have for life hacks, Rich? Okay.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Hey, Kyle, you don't have any like boring chores that
- 23:41Speaker 3: you can put off.
- 23:42Speaker 9: I got a lot of boring chores that all the
- 23:44Speaker 9: chores I have are boring.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Like you don't like doing them, right? Right. So the
- 23:47Speaker 3: internet's put together, like, how can you get your chores done?
- 23:52Speaker 3: in a very good way, and it all has to
- 23:53Speaker 3: do with music. But they have picked the two best
- 23:57Speaker 3: songs for getting chores done. One of them I agree with.
- 24:00Speaker 3: I feel like if you hear some Biggie, you just
- 24:03Speaker 3: are ready to work, right? Well, it's funny.
- 24:05Speaker 6: I was going to say, how do you get your
- 24:06Speaker 6: chores done? Learn from P. Diddy in prison.
- 24:10Speaker 3: He's got all these people doing.
- 24:11Speaker 6: All his chores.
- 24:12Speaker 3: You hear this, and you can sort through that laundry, Kyle.
- 24:16Speaker 3: You can do it. Finally get the laundry put away.
- 24:18Speaker 3: And the other one that I thought was interesting was Skrillex. Oh, yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 3: I can see this. Making you get stuff done. Feel
- 24:27Speaker 3: the energy. Go through the lights. Go through the darks.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Get them in the landry.
- 24:30Speaker 7: Is there any light?
- 24:33Speaker 8: Some throwback r & b on that list because i feel.
- 24:35Speaker 7: Like that was all that was my granny.
- 24:37Speaker 8: And my auntie every sunday morning we knew we had
- 24:40Speaker 8: to be up when we heard shot.
- 24:41Speaker 9: A on the street shot a heck yeah i would
- 24:45Speaker 9: just like want to chill.
- 24:46Speaker 8: That's good you know you're gonna get your butt up
- 24:49Speaker 8: and start mopping and sweeping and vacuuming yeah they would
- 24:55Speaker 8: throw yeah they would throw in you know All that
- 24:58Speaker 8: good stuff.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Well, anyway, so the BPMs are the secret. That life
- 25:01Speaker 3: hack and many more to get your stuff done can
- 25:03Speaker 3: be found at JohnJayandRich.com.
- 25:07Speaker 9: Have you guys heard of the no spend reset?
- 25:14Speaker 6: No.
- 25:14Speaker 3: What's that?
- 25:15Speaker 6: No spend.
- 25:15Speaker 7: I feel like I need it.
- 25:17Speaker 9: Exactly, Peyton. So the no spend reset is trending right now.
- 25:22Speaker 9: And it's like a no spend challenge because everything's so
- 25:25Speaker 9: expensive right now. People are getting really picky about where
- 25:29Speaker 9: we do spend our money and what we do spend
- 25:31Speaker 9: our money on. And big giant retailers have started to
- 25:34Speaker 9: notice that as well. So much so that like Target
- 25:38Speaker 9: announced price cuts. Walmart says they're going to be cutting
- 25:41Speaker 9: prices on a whole bunch of things to like 11,000
- 25:44Speaker 9: different products at Walmart because they're like, we realize everything's
- 25:48Speaker 9: so expensive. So people are getting real picky on what
- 25:50Speaker 9: they're actually spending their money on. But then it started
- 25:53Speaker 9: trending with the no spend reset. Like, yes, no. I
- 25:56Speaker 9: can stop spending money, but there are certain things that
- 26:00Speaker 9: I will not not spend money on. So, like, if
- 26:04Speaker 9: you had to stop spending money on one unnecessary thing
- 26:07Speaker 9: for 30 days, what would be embarrassingly difficult to get
- 26:12Speaker 9: rid of for you?
- 26:12Speaker 6: Unnecessary.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Unnecessary.
- 26:14Speaker 6: I mean, obviously, you'd be like, well, Netflix, but... I
- 26:18Speaker 6: need that.
- 26:18Speaker 11: Right.
- 26:19Speaker 3: No, that's a great one.
- 26:21Speaker 9: That's fabulous.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I know.
- 26:22Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 26:24Speaker 6: Unnecessary.
- 26:24Speaker 9: There's a lot of people that chimed in that were like,
- 26:27Speaker 9: I mean, going to get Starbucks or Dutch Bros, my coffee, unnecessary.
- 26:31Speaker 9: I should be able to make that at home, but
- 26:33Speaker 9: I can't get rid of it.
- 26:34Speaker 6: You know what's good? Because I did that. I gave
- 26:37Speaker 6: up going to Starbucks, and now I drink the coffee here.
- 26:39Speaker 6: So I did it. I'm a successful reset.
- 26:41Speaker 9: You had a no-spend reset with your coffee.
- 26:43Speaker 6: I'm successful.
- 26:44Speaker 3: For me, it's when my kids are over, nobody likes
- 26:47Speaker 3: to eat the same thing, and it's DoorDash for me.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Because I'll be like, I just jump on my phone
- 26:52Speaker 3: and order DoorDash, and I don't have to make anything
- 26:54Speaker 3: for you. I need to get rid of it because
- 26:56Speaker 3: it's expensive. It's way easier to make sandwiches.
- 26:59Speaker 8: Right.
- 26:59Speaker 3: And that's kind of like the thing.
- 27:00Speaker 9: It's like embarrassingly difficult to get rid of. You know,
- 27:03Speaker 9: you know, it's unnecessary.
- 27:04Speaker 3: I've done it like within the hour. I'm like, no,
- 27:06Speaker 3: I'm not doing that. We can find something here.
- 27:08Speaker 7: And then you always, you always fold.
- 27:10Speaker 3: And then I'll be like, yeah, my knee hurts. And
- 27:11Speaker 3: I don't know what you guys want you to order.
- 27:12Speaker 6: Whatever.
- 27:13Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 27:13Speaker 8: For me, it would have to be like my vices. Like,
- 27:17Speaker 8: Every now and then I feel like I have to
- 27:20Speaker 8: go get a cocktail with my friends.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Like it is a necessity.
- 27:24Speaker 9: Not giving that up.
- 27:26Speaker 6: That would be the no set reset. So you'd have
- 27:28Speaker 6: to give that up for 30 days.
- 27:29Speaker 7: I would have to give that up for 30.
- 27:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:30Speaker 8: It would be like, it would just be like my
- 27:32Speaker 8: habits that like that Zen me out that I really
- 27:35Speaker 8: don't need and are probably.
- 27:35Speaker 7: Really bad for my body anyway.
- 27:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:37Speaker 9: And I guess to like complete this, people online have
- 27:40Speaker 9: been sharing their challenges, the no spend reset challenges where
- 27:42Speaker 9: they do no buy or low buy things where they
- 27:44Speaker 9: actually go into the place where they feel it's embarrassingly
- 27:48Speaker 9: difficult to get rid of. And they're like, I'm, I'm
- 27:51Speaker 9: kind of like a face your fear thing, but like
- 27:53Speaker 9: a no spend reset thing. Like you go into Starbucks,
- 27:55Speaker 9: but you don't buy anything.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Cleo.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Cleo.
- 27:58Speaker 6: Good morning. You're on the air.
- 28:01Speaker 5: Hey, how are you?
- 28:03Speaker 4: Hi.
- 28:04Speaker 6: What would yours be? No spend reset.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Mine would be like personalized things. So if I see
- 28:12Speaker 5: a website where I can put my name on it,
- 28:14Speaker 5: I'm done. Like I'm in. I must do it. I
- 28:17Speaker 5: have personalized, like I sign in my room, my Stanley cup.
- 28:21Speaker 5: I have a blanket, key chain, robe, cutting board.
- 28:23Speaker 19: It's truly a.
- 28:24Speaker 12: Ridiculous ornament with my.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Dog's name on it.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Do I need this?
- 28:30Speaker 18: No.
- 28:30Speaker 3: No, you do not. Like a cutting board would work
- 28:33Speaker 3: the same without your name on it.
- 28:35Speaker 7: But they're cuter when they have your name on it.
- 28:38Speaker 14: It's so much cuter.
- 28:39Speaker 5: It does it for me. Yes, and personalized things are
- 28:42Speaker 5: so much more expensive, but I love them. I love them,
- 28:46Speaker 5: and I think I would be depressed. if I couldn't
- 28:48Speaker 5: have those things.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Makes sense.
- 28:49Speaker 6: That's a good thing. That's a good one. That's a
- 28:51Speaker 6: good one.
- 28:51Speaker 9: That is embarrassing.
- 28:52Speaker 6: For me, it's like I relate to you because now
- 28:53Speaker 6: for me, it's like also I buy almost all the
- 28:56Speaker 6: ads I get on Instagram.
- 28:57Speaker 12: Oh, you and my husband.
- 28:58Speaker 6: I buy the shirts, especially shirts.
- 29:01Speaker 9: You know what he bought the other day? And I
- 29:02Speaker 9: was like, are you kidding me? He got an Instagram
- 29:04Speaker 9: ad for, you know how he loves Daisy, our dog.
- 29:06Speaker 9: It's like his best friend in the whole world. That's
- 29:08Speaker 9: his girl. He literally bought this key chain. It looks
- 29:12Speaker 9: like a dog, but it's empty. And what it's made
- 29:15Speaker 9: for is it's literally you're supposed to put your dog's
- 29:17Speaker 9: hair in there so that when your dog does pass away,
- 29:21Speaker 9: you have a memento of your dog. And I'm like,
- 29:23Speaker 9: Daisy's fine.
- 29:24Speaker 20: Like, why did you do that?
- 29:24Speaker 9: He's like, I got an Instagram ad.
- 29:26Speaker 7: He's like, I'm just saving it for later.
- 29:28Speaker 6: We could open the phones all day. I've never heard
- 29:31Speaker 6: of that before.
- 29:31Speaker 8: I'm like, and what is he going to wear, like,
- 29:33Speaker 8: Daisy's hair around his neck?
- 29:35Speaker 9: He literally goes, if you find a tuft of Daisy's
- 29:38Speaker 9: hair around the house, let me know.
- 29:39Speaker 3: I was like, no! Ew!
- 29:43Speaker 8: He's going to just be brushing her out and saving
- 29:46Speaker 8: every piece of hair. That's so weird.
- 29:48Speaker 6: Cleo, thanks for calling in.
- 29:50Speaker 5: Thank you so much.
- 29:59Speaker 6: Hey, we're into no spend reset. Is that what it's called, Kyle?
- 30:03Speaker 6: No spend reset.
- 30:03Speaker 9: That's what's trending online where people are being really picky
- 30:06Speaker 9: about what they're spending their money on. But we wanted
- 30:08Speaker 9: to know what would be embarrassingly difficult to get rid
- 30:12Speaker 9: of if you couldn't buy something for 30 days.
- 30:14Speaker 6: Keith, what about you? What could you give up for
- 30:16Speaker 6: 30 days? No spend reset, Keith.
- 30:19Speaker 10: No spend reset, Keith. All right, so here's the thing.
- 30:22Speaker 10: I consider myself kind of like a doomsday prepper to
- 30:25Speaker 10: a certain degree. And whenever I go to any of
- 30:28Speaker 10: these like shops or whatever, I always like to buy
- 30:30Speaker 10: those kind of like mini multi-toolkit things that they have, right?
- 30:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:35Speaker 10: I have like, I don't know, 20 of them at
- 30:36Speaker 10: this point.
- 30:37Speaker 3: I just, I keep buying them.
- 30:38Speaker 10: I don't know why I keep buying them. I keep
- 30:40Speaker 10: thinking to myself, hey, you never know when you're going
- 30:42Speaker 10: to need 14 screwdrivers.
- 30:44Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 30:44Speaker 10: I like them. I keep buying them. I keep giving
- 30:46Speaker 10: them as gifts to friends and stuff like that. But
- 30:48Speaker 10: the funny thing is, Three or four days ago, my
- 30:50Speaker 10: neighbor came over and she just bought a new set
- 30:53Speaker 10: from Ikea and was like, Hey, I need a screwdriver.
- 30:55Speaker 10: And none of my mini screwdrivers actually.
- 30:57Speaker 6: Work for a hard drive.
- 30:59Speaker 9: None of them work.
- 31:00Speaker 10: And now I'm thinking to myself, I have to go
- 31:02Speaker 10: buy the large mini toolkits now.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Yes, you do.
- 31:04Speaker 6: The large mini toolkits.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Let me make you more of an addict. Have you
- 31:07Speaker 3: heard of the BattleBox subscription? No.
- 31:11Speaker 6: What is that?
- 31:12Speaker 3: It's for doomsday preppers. And I used to get this,
- 31:15Speaker 3: but then I've got too many knives. So what it
- 31:17Speaker 3: is is every month they send you like, I don't know,
- 31:19Speaker 3: like a … A thermal blanket, a knife.
- 31:23Speaker 6: They'll send you like- Every month?
- 31:24Speaker 3: Every month. Seems like that's a lot.
- 31:26Speaker 9: But like something different. So they'll send you like food
- 31:28Speaker 9: that lasts for 40 years.
- 31:28Speaker 6: Every month you get a new thermal blanket and a knife.
- 31:31Speaker 3: There's some kind of survival thing. Like they might have
- 31:33Speaker 3: a way for you to like take water from a
- 31:35Speaker 3: lake and make it drinkable.
- 31:36Speaker 9: Or like a solar power charger or something like that.
- 31:39Speaker 6: Like a Boy Scout stuff.
- 31:40Speaker 20: It is.
- 31:41Speaker 3: But it's like it's like really cool stuff. And the
- 31:43Speaker 3: way they get you is they always put one cool
- 31:46Speaker 3: knife in there. And guys, it's like pens and sunglasses.
- 31:49Speaker 3: We dig knives and screwdrivers and that's how they get you.
- 31:51Speaker 3: But you should join on Battlebox.
- 31:54Speaker 6: There you go, Keith.
- 31:55Speaker 10: All right.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Perfect.
- 31:56Speaker 9: I need to get that.
- 31:57Speaker 6: Thanks. Did you say Battlebox?
- 31:59Speaker 3: Battlebox.
- 32:01Speaker 6: Daisy, what about you? No spend reset. What would you
- 32:03Speaker 6: give up?
- 32:04Speaker 5: Buying coins and lives on Candy Crush and money on
- 32:10Speaker 5: my pool game.
- 32:11Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 32:13Speaker 6: The Candy Crush thing is addicting.
- 32:15Speaker 3: For sure. And for me, for a while, it was
- 32:17Speaker 3: the Monopoly game where you could buy triple your money.
- 32:21Speaker 7: Oh, so that's how you were cheating, Rich.
- 32:24Speaker 8: Thanks for letting everyone know that you were spending your
- 32:27Speaker 8: real cash on your fake cash to steal all my
- 32:29Speaker 8: fake cash.
- 32:31Speaker 17: I remember Peyton being so.
- 32:33Speaker 5: Mad about it.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Oh, I'm still mad. That was way before I learned
- 32:39Speaker 3: how to cheat. That was shady, man.
- 32:43Speaker 8: Yesterday morning, I woke up and I looked at my
- 32:45Speaker 8: bank and I was down $ 280 million. And I'm like,
- 32:49Speaker 8: how does that happen? And I go to my little
- 32:51Speaker 8: notifications and none other than Rich Barra stole $ 289 million
- 32:56Speaker 8: from me.
- 32:56Speaker 6: Is that part of the game stealing?
- 32:58Speaker 8: He had a bank heist and he stole all my money.
- 33:01Speaker 8: Everybody else who steals money from me, they steal like
- 33:03Speaker 8: $ 2 million, $ 4 million.
- 33:06Speaker 7: Which is a lot. How did Rich get $ 289 million
- 33:08Speaker 7: of my money, right? So I'm set. Rich is cheating
- 33:11Speaker 7: at this point.
- 33:12Speaker 6: I don't know how he's doing it.
- 33:13Speaker 3: No, not cheating.
- 33:13Speaker 7: But he is absolutely cheating.
- 33:15Speaker 8: I don't care if I'm being a sore loser, but
- 33:17Speaker 8: I removed Rich as my friend on the knockoff.
- 33:20Speaker 7: You're not my friend anymore.
- 33:21Speaker 3: You're just like my children. I wish I could block you.
- 33:24Speaker 8: I wish I could block you and you could never
- 33:25Speaker 8: request me again. I don't know if you noticed, Richard,
- 33:27Speaker 8: but I'm no longer on your board. You can't steal
- 33:30Speaker 8: money from me anymore. I'm done with you.
- 33:32Speaker 7: I genuinely love you, Rich. I don't want to hate you.
- 33:35Speaker 8: And I will hate you if I continue to be
- 33:37Speaker 8: friends with you on Monopoly.
- 33:38Speaker 6: Does this make you want to play at all, Kyle?
- 33:40Speaker 20: No.
- 33:41Speaker 6: Same here.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Game over. You're just like my kids. My kids won't
- 33:45Speaker 3: play Monopoly with me anymore. They call me the Slub Lord.
- 33:47Speaker 6: All right, so you said you'd give up. Daisy, you'd
- 33:49Speaker 6: give up.
- 33:49Speaker 9: It would be hard to give up.
- 33:50Speaker 6: Hard to give up Candy Crush for you.
- 33:53Speaker 17: It's a dollar here, a dollar there, but, you know.
- 33:55Speaker 6: I need some lives. Okay, so the no-spend reset is
- 33:58Speaker 6: what's hard to give up, right?
- 34:01Speaker 9: The no-spend reset that's trending is that people are challenging
- 34:05Speaker 9: themselves to stop spending on unnecessary things. But we're asking,
- 34:09Speaker 9: what would be difficult? What would be embarrassingly difficult to
- 34:12Speaker 9: give up for 30 days?
- 34:12Speaker 6: For me, and I just got the bill the other day,
- 34:15Speaker 6: and I didn't realize I was spending this much. So
- 34:17Speaker 6: I get Chachapati for free. In fact, I think I
- 34:19Speaker 6: was making fun of Rich and Payton because you guys
- 34:21Speaker 6: pay the 20 bucks a month. I do. I paid
- 34:23Speaker 6: extra for Grok. And that's like $ 49 a month. Dang!
- 34:27Speaker 7: That's how Elon's so rich.
- 34:28Speaker 9: He's jacking you, bro.
- 34:30Speaker 3: I think rock is so much superior.
- 34:33Speaker 4: Another one that would be kind of embarrassing.
- 34:35Speaker 21: I mean, I spend way too much money on my
- 34:37Speaker 21: wrestling hobby.
- 34:39Speaker 5: Like, I have Peacock.
- 34:41Speaker 4: I have ESPN.
- 34:42Speaker 13: I have Netflix.
- 34:45Speaker 17: I have all of the channels.
- 34:46Speaker 5: I also just got YouTube Premium for no commercials.
- 34:49Speaker 6: Wow.
- 34:49Speaker 5: And then I buy all the new shirts that they
- 34:52Speaker 5: come out with.
- 34:53Speaker 17: I have a $ 500 replica title belt.
- 34:56Speaker 7: Oh, that would be really awesome.
- 34:57Speaker 6: We bow down to you, Daisy.
- 34:58Speaker 7: You win.
- 34:59Speaker 16: Yeah, you win.
- 34:59Speaker 6: You win.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Everything she spends money on is unnecessary. It's all right.
- 35:04Speaker 8: Always.
- 35:05Speaker 3: Yeah, say that to my wife.
- 35:06Speaker 13: She'll agree.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Right on, Daisy. Get after it, girl.
- 35:10Speaker 4: That's funny.
- 35:11Speaker 6: Thank you, Daisy.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Thank you, guys.
- 35:12Speaker 13: Thanks.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Have a great day.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Bye.
- 35:13Speaker 10: Bye.
- 35:14Speaker 18: I can't tell you bye.
- 35:16Speaker 6: Because I'm not the child.
- 35:19Speaker 16: J-I-A.
- 35:22Speaker 6: Hey, the drunk dial line, you ever call us is 602-888-1933.
- 35:26Speaker 6: You can leave us a voicemail message if you're drunk.
- 35:28Speaker 6: If you're not drunk, you can give it out to
- 35:30Speaker 6: people if they're hitting on you. 602-888-1933. You can also
- 35:35Speaker 6: leave us talkbacks. That's the red microphone on the free
- 35:38Speaker 6: iHeartRadio app. You're listening to the show.
- 35:40Speaker 7: Tap it.
- 35:41Speaker 6: Just leave us a drunk dial or a talkback. In fact,
- 35:44Speaker 6: here's some right now. You may end up on the radio.
- 35:47Speaker 17: So I got invited to hang out with this new group.
- 35:50Speaker 6: Of friends that I made. And I texted my friend.
- 35:53Speaker 5: And asked if she wanted to ride together.
- 35:55Speaker 14: And we found out through the conversation that she wasn't
- 36:00Speaker 14: even invited.
- 36:01Speaker 4: It was so awkward.
- 36:03Speaker 17: I haven't texted her back.
- 36:05Speaker 16: I really want to go because I get along with
- 36:08Speaker 16: these guys really well.
- 36:09Speaker 14: But I also don't want her to be pissed at me.
- 36:11Speaker 16: It kind of seems like she wants me to not
- 36:14Speaker 16: go because.
- 36:15Speaker 4: She wasn't invited.
- 36:17Speaker 17: It had nothing to do with me, so I just
- 36:21Speaker 17: don't know what to do.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Oh, is she a bad friend? She could hang out
- 36:26Speaker 3: with the uninvited friend.
- 36:28Speaker 8: Well, right, because I mean, if my friend invited me
- 36:31Speaker 8: somewhere and it was from a friend of a friend,
- 36:34Speaker 8: I would obviously text me, like, do you want to
- 36:35Speaker 8: go together?
- 36:36Speaker 7: So the fact that they're leaving her out.
- 36:39Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 36:39Speaker 7: Maybe I would go just to get the tea. Like, why?
- 36:43Speaker 6: Or the drama.
- 36:43Speaker 7: Or the drama.
- 36:44Speaker 8: And then be able to report back and be like, yeah,
- 36:46Speaker 8: we actually, neither one of us needs to be friends
- 36:48Speaker 8: with them. Yeah.
- 36:50Speaker 9: Speaking of condescending remarks, my former sister-in-law always says to me.
- 36:55Speaker 14: I'm so glad you have your little career.
- 36:57Speaker 6: That makes me feel great.
- 36:59Speaker 3: Uh-huh. Little in front of anything.
- 37:01Speaker 6: That's so funny. I like that.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Oh, heck yeah. I don't know whose voice that was,
- 37:07Speaker 1: but I love it.
- 37:09Speaker 6: Hey, what's up?
- 37:10Speaker 1: John Jay and Rich, Kyle, Peyton, Nick, everyone on the radio.
- 37:16Speaker 19: This is William.
- 37:18Speaker 1: There's so much happening tonight right now. I'm in the
- 37:20Speaker 1: drive-thru line ordering some chicken menuggies, and I just left
- 37:24Speaker 1: the bar, and there's a lady braiding wire into little
- 37:29Speaker 1: bugs and scorpions and stuff, and she said, something about
- 37:33Speaker 1: pink and something, black and black, whatever.
- 37:35Speaker 14: There was a bar fight.
- 37:37Speaker 1: There was a lot happening. I got a little quartered. Anyway,
- 37:41Speaker 1: I think I'm up for my orders. Love you guys.
- 37:45Speaker 6: And that's use of the drunk gal line.
- 37:46Speaker 8: I thought he said drag queen line. And I was like,
- 37:50Speaker 8: where can I go there? Where can I find that?
- 37:53Speaker 6: They're all over the place.
- 37:54Speaker 8: Well, I want to go to a drag queen drive-thru line.
- 37:59Speaker 12: My boyfriend thinks our cat just really likes me more
- 38:02Speaker 12: than him.
- 38:02Speaker 19: She doesn't.
- 38:04Speaker 14: I've been secretly putting treats in my bra before we
- 38:07Speaker 14: sit on the couch, so she always.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Comes and lays on me.
- 38:09Speaker 7: It's literally been like eight months, and this man is genuinely.
- 38:13Speaker 12: Hurt that the cat picked me.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Great scam.
- 38:19Speaker 6: That is so cute.
- 38:21Speaker 2: My mother called me freaking out because she lost her
- 38:24Speaker 2: wedding ring, and my dad wasn't home, so I went
- 38:27Speaker 2: over to help her look.
- 38:28Speaker 4: And we.
- 38:30Speaker 2: We just tore the whole house apart looking for it.
- 38:32Speaker 2: We finally found it inside their cookie jar. And I
- 38:35Speaker 2: asked her, how in the world did it get there?
- 38:37Speaker 2: And she just said, I don't know. And then my
- 38:40Speaker 2: dad walks in and immediately says, oh, I put it there.
- 38:44Speaker 2: And apparently every time that they've ever gotten an argument,
- 38:47Speaker 2: my dad hides her wedding ring somewhere in the house
- 38:50Speaker 2: because he thinks it forces them to make up whenever
- 38:54Speaker 2: she needs his help finding it. So they've been married
- 38:57Speaker 2: for 32 years. Maybe it's the secret to a long,
- 39:01Speaker 2: happy marriage.
- 39:02Speaker 8: Wow.
- 39:03Speaker 6: Love you guys. Oh, my gosh.
- 39:04Speaker 7: That reminds me.
- 39:06Speaker 8: When Kadeem and I first got engaged, I would always
- 39:08Speaker 8: leave my ring just like out and about. I would
- 39:10Speaker 8: take it off, put it on the kitchen counter or wherever.
- 39:12Speaker 8: And he used to hide it. He used to hide
- 39:14Speaker 8: it from me. And I used to get so mad.
- 39:16Speaker 3: To teach you a lesson?
- 39:17Speaker 7: But to teach me a lesson to not leave my
- 39:18Speaker 7: stuff just laying around. The lesson was taught because why
- 39:22Speaker 7: are you taking my stuff?
- 39:23Speaker 13: What?
- 39:25Speaker 3: So you didn't learn anything.
- 39:25Speaker 6: I don't think that was the lesson.
- 39:30Speaker 16: The batteries out of the TV remote.
- 39:35Speaker 14: I don't need batteries. I have a drawer full of them.
- 39:38Speaker 4: I don't know why I do it. At this point,
- 39:41Speaker 4: I think this is who I am.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Makes sense, because I can't tell you how many hotel
- 39:45Speaker 3: rooms I've gone in where the remote doesn't work at all.
- 39:48Speaker 6: Because it's got no batteries. You guys, that's the Drunk Outline.
- 39:50Speaker 6: Call us, leave us a message, 602-888-1933, or talk back
- 39:52Speaker 6: on the free iHeartRadio app. All right, so two days ago,
- 40:03Speaker 6: we did Minute to Win It. It was very controversial, right? Because, Rich,
- 40:07Speaker 6: remember the question was something about cerebellum?
- 40:08Speaker 3: Cerebellum is part of what human organ? And the answer
- 40:13Speaker 3: is the brain, and I never heard him say the brain.
- 40:16Speaker 3: I heard him say something else.
- 40:17Speaker 6: And then he got buzzed, and then his wife has
- 40:21Speaker 6: been DMing and calling, saying that she happened to be
- 40:24Speaker 6: filming it. We got Debbie and Rob on the line
- 40:28Speaker 6: right now. Both of you guys there?
- 40:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm here.
- 40:31Speaker 6: Oh, Debbie's not there?
- 40:32Speaker 13: Oh, she's sitting next to me right now.
- 40:33Speaker 6: And that's what was happening the other day, right? She
- 40:35Speaker 6: was sitting next to you. Yes. And she was filming you.
- 40:38Speaker 6: And so she has sent me a few DMs and
- 40:41Speaker 6: so have you. And that because she was filming you,
- 40:44Speaker 6: we have actual footage of you actually saying the answer,
- 40:47Speaker 6: which was brain, right? Yes. Okay, so let's listen to it.
- 40:52Speaker 6: Here we go. Lil Wayne.
- 40:59Speaker 13: Three.
- 41:08Speaker 9: Of the brain oh that was right away too that
- 41:11Speaker 9: was right and your phone cut out so on our
- 41:13Speaker 9: end yeah we didn't hear you say anything so i
- 41:15Speaker 9: think we were silent and then you kept guessing finally
- 41:18Speaker 9: said i guess heart or something like that and that's when.
- 41:21Speaker 6: You were buzzed and by the way so so nick
- 41:23Speaker 6: nick just to make sure that you weren't reenacting that
- 41:25Speaker 6: someone's gonna go nick went and measured it up to
- 41:28Speaker 6: the actual audio and nick what do you have Yeah.
- 41:30Speaker 11: I may have a little too much time on my
- 41:33Speaker 11: hands this morning, so I took the video that we
- 41:36Speaker 11: had for Minute to Win It, and I mashed it
- 41:38Speaker 11: up with the video of him in the car, and
- 41:42Speaker 11: it matches perfectly.
- 41:44Speaker 6: Okay, so what we're going to do is we're going
- 41:46Speaker 6: to give you a make good, Rob. Will that make
- 41:47Speaker 6: you happy? Oh, yeah, definitely. Okay, so we're going to
- 41:50Speaker 6: give you 60 seconds to Minute to Win It.
- 41:52Speaker 9: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000 cash for you from
- 41:55Speaker 9: Peoria Ford right now.
- 41:57Speaker 16: Minute to win it.
- 41:58Speaker 3: Okay, Rob, 60 seconds. No skips. Pay attention. Here we go.
- 42:05Speaker 3: What Pixar movie features a rat named Remy who dreams
- 42:08Speaker 3: of becoming a chef?
- 42:11Speaker 16: Ratatouille.
- 42:12Speaker 3: What game show is famous for the phrase, come on down?
- 42:18Speaker 6: Price is Right.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Gotta catch them all. is the catchphrase associated with what
- 42:23Speaker 3: game franchise?
- 42:26Speaker 2: Pokemon.
- 42:27Speaker 3: The Gateway Arch is located in what U.S.
- 42:30Speaker 6: City? Gateway Arch.
- 42:36Speaker 17: Oh, God.
- 42:43Speaker 1: I want to say.
- 42:46Speaker 4: I'm just going to say Arkansas.
- 42:48Speaker 1: No?
- 42:48Speaker 4: Okay.
- 42:51Speaker 9: Rob's wife was not happy about that answer.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Well, that is a state, not a city. It is
- 42:55Speaker 3: in St.
- 42:56Speaker 6: Louis.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Oh.
- 42:57Speaker 6: Yeah, nope, nope. I know I said that wrong. Oh, wrong. Hey,
- 43:01Speaker 6: but we gave you a fair shot, right?
- 43:04Speaker 3: Yep.
- 43:04Speaker 6: All right, you did well. That's all I wanted. Yeah.
- 43:07Speaker 6: You did well, Rob. What did she say? What did
- 43:09Speaker 6: Debbie say?
- 43:10Speaker 3: She said, thank you.
- 43:11Speaker 6: You're welcome.
- 43:11Speaker 3: Oh, you're welcome, guys. We love you, Debbie.
- 43:13Speaker 6: We are fair and balanced here. Yeah, we are very fair.
- 43:17Speaker 6: Thank you guys for listening. Thank you very much for listening.
- 43:19Speaker 6: Thank you guys again. All right. There you go. We
- 43:22Speaker 6: made good on Minute to Win It.
- 43:23Speaker 15: It's John Jay.
- 43:37Speaker 8: And Rich. Hey, Brooke.
- 43:39Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 43:39Speaker 3: You're on the air.
- 43:40Speaker 13: Good morning.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Hi.
- 43:42Speaker 13: So I was calling you guys because I wanted to
- 43:44Speaker 13: tell you about my bird. Hello, bird. I have a
- 43:47Speaker 13: little cockatiel, and her nickname is John Jay.
- 43:51Speaker 14: Oh.
- 43:53Speaker 13: It would make my day if you guys could guess
- 43:56Speaker 13: why I would call my little bird John Jay.
- 44:00Speaker 9: Especially when you said her name. Her nickname is John Jay. Oh,
- 44:04Speaker 9: I got a good one. Is she highly critical of
- 44:07Speaker 9: everything you do?
- 44:10Speaker 3: Does she like it when plans cancel?
- 44:17Speaker 8: No.
- 44:17Speaker 4: Okay.
- 44:18Speaker 9: Does she not like any new friends?
- 44:22Speaker 6: True is she a virgo does she just pack and
- 44:25Speaker 6: pack and pack until you bleed.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Sure does she talk but says the word irregardless.
- 44:33Speaker 13: No, so I call her John Jay because she is
- 44:36Speaker 13: obsessed with feet.
- 44:39Speaker 9: That's hilarious.
- 44:40Speaker 6: How did that go there first?
- 44:41Speaker 9: Definitely failed that little test.
- 44:44Speaker 6: How is she obsessed with feet? What kind of bird
- 44:46Speaker 6: is that? I love that bird.
- 44:48Speaker 13: So it's a cockatiel. They're the ones with the little
- 44:50Speaker 13: yellow feathers on top of their head. But if your
- 44:53Speaker 13: toes are out, she will make a beeline to get
- 44:56Speaker 13: to your feet. And she doesn't just sit there. No,
- 44:59Speaker 13: she licks my toes.
- 45:00Speaker 7: Oh, my gosh.
- 45:01Speaker 6: Oh, wow.
- 45:02Speaker 8: Oh, weird.
- 45:02Speaker 7: Little bird tongue.
- 45:04Speaker 14: Yeah, it is weird.
- 45:06Speaker 13: I didn't know they could do that until I got her.
- 45:09Speaker 6: Can you get me a video of that? I'd like
- 45:10Speaker 6: to post it on Unfugged Feet and see what it is.
- 45:13Speaker 9: That's going to blow up.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Are you kidding? That could be the video of the year.
- 45:17Speaker 14: Pay me for that, okay?
- 45:20Speaker 6: There's a video of Katy Perry of her little puppy
- 45:22Speaker 6: licking her toes and it blew up in the foot world.
- 45:24Speaker 6: I was like, I wonder if there was a bird
- 45:26Speaker 6: licking toes how crazy it would be. That's crazy.
- 45:29Speaker 13: Maybe I need to get on one of the apps.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Yeah, you do. You might have a whole thing.
- 45:33Speaker 9: You've got something here, Brooke.
- 45:35Speaker 6: Birdfeet.com. Well, thanks, Brooke. Thank you so much.
- 45:39Speaker 13: Yeah, thanks, guys. It was nice talking to you.
- 45:41Speaker 14: You too.
- 45:41Speaker 6: Thanks. Thanks for listening.
- 45:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:43Speaker 8: Bye.
- 45:44Speaker 6: Hello, Bird.
- 45:48Speaker 3: The return of breaking bad news is coming up in
- 45:51Speaker 3: less than 15 minutes. First, earlier this week, our phone screener, Dylan,
- 45:55Speaker 3: shared her skincare routine. So here's what we want to know.
- 45:58Speaker 3: What's the unconventional thing you put on your face to
- 46:01Speaker 3: keep yourself beautiful? Sounds weird. We still want to hear
- 46:03Speaker 3: from you.
- 46:03Speaker 8: 877-937-1047.
- 46:03Speaker 3: We'll talk to you after Ariana Grande.
- 46:13Speaker 6: John D. Rich, do you remember the other day Dylan,
- 46:16Speaker 6: who answers our phones, was telling us about some medicine
- 46:18Speaker 6: she put on her face?
- 46:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:21Speaker 6: Hey, Dylan, what was that medicine you put on your face?
- 46:22Speaker 6: What was it called?
- 46:23Speaker 19: Spironolactone.
- 46:27Speaker 6: Okay, and is it actually for your face, right?
- 46:31Speaker 18: For your skin, for your acne.
- 46:32Speaker 6: Okay, so I got a DM where somebody was asking
- 46:35Speaker 6: me what that was. And when I told them, they
- 46:38Speaker 6: were like, oh my God, I have fantastic skin and
- 46:42Speaker 6: that product is in medicine that I take for something else.
- 46:46Speaker 5: Oh.
- 46:47Speaker 6: And she was like, everyone always compliments my skin. Now
- 46:50Speaker 6: I know why it was something else. She was in,
- 46:52Speaker 6: she had like, she was taking like some sort of
- 46:53Speaker 6: like cholesterol medicine or something. And as a side, it
- 46:56Speaker 6: was a side effect. It was like, she's got beautiful skin.
- 46:59Speaker 6: So she weren't, when she heard us talking about it,
- 47:00Speaker 6: she was asking us what it was. So then Dylan
- 47:02Speaker 6: put on Facebook, she was just not for fun to
- 47:04Speaker 6: be like, what's something you put on your face. That's
- 47:06Speaker 6: just a little different. That works.
- 47:08Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 47:09Speaker 6: So Lacey, what is something that you put on your face?
- 47:12Speaker 20: So everyone says that you're supposed to, you know, save
- 47:15Speaker 20: the leftover pasta water after you, you know, make pasta
- 47:18Speaker 20: for the sauce, right? Well, one day I saved some
- 47:22Speaker 20: of the pasta water and splashed it on my hand
- 47:24Speaker 20: while I was cooking. And I noticed that my skin
- 47:27Speaker 20: felt really like soft afterwards. So like the next time
- 47:31Speaker 20: I was making pasta, I waited for the literally so smooth.
- 47:38Speaker 20: Like I looked up and apparently people use rice and
- 47:42Speaker 20: starch water for like beauty stuff. So now like whenever
- 47:45Speaker 20: I eat pasta, I just let the water cool and
- 47:47Speaker 20: dab it on my face before I shower.
- 47:48Speaker 19: And like the saddest like thing is it's about to
- 47:52Speaker 19: become a staple product in my routine. So like now
- 47:55Speaker 19: I'm just going to have to eat like pasta every
- 47:57Speaker 19: night to keep my skin nice.
- 47:59Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 47:59Speaker 8: No, what you got to do is just like make
- 48:01Speaker 8: the pasta do like extra and then put it in
- 48:04Speaker 8: like a little spray bottle or something like that and
- 48:06Speaker 8: keep it on your nightstand and just like refresh your
- 48:09Speaker 8: face with it.
- 48:09Speaker 7: Like you would do a facial mister. That's actually genius.
- 48:12Speaker 9: I wonder how, like, good the pasta water stays or
- 48:14Speaker 9: if it has, like, a shelf life.
- 48:15Speaker 7: Yeah, like, does it separate? You know what I mean?
- 48:18Speaker 9: Do you have to put it in the fridge?
- 48:19Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 48:19Speaker 21: I don't know.
- 48:20Speaker 7: I have questions.
- 48:21Speaker 6: How about the Kardashians putting salmon sperm on their face?
- 48:23Speaker 6: Remember that one? Yeah, that one's pretty funny.
- 48:24Speaker 9: Yeah, Jennifer Aniston did that, too.
- 48:26Speaker 6: That's pretty unique.
- 48:27Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 48:27Speaker 6: That's fun. Lacey, thanks for calling in. Good luck with
- 48:29Speaker 6: that pasta thing on your face.
- 48:32Speaker 11: Thanks.
- 48:34Speaker 6: Kendall, what about you? What's something weird you put on
- 48:36Speaker 6: your skin and it worked?
- 48:39Speaker 21: Okay, so I saw this TikTok of someone using like
- 48:43Speaker 21: the whites of an egg to use as like a
- 48:46Speaker 21: face patch or like a.
- 48:47Speaker 5: Liquid band-aid type of thing.
- 48:49Speaker 21: And I thought it was completely gross and insane. But
- 48:53Speaker 21: then I was making eggs one day and I got
- 48:55Speaker 21: this like tiny, I don't know what it was. It
- 48:57Speaker 21: was like a bump or a cut next to my nose.
- 49:00Speaker 21: And so I was like, you know what? I'm just
- 49:01Speaker 21: going to try it because I don't have any like
- 49:03Speaker 21: band-aids or anything nearby.
- 49:05Speaker 4: Um, so I did it, I forgot about it.
- 49:07Speaker 21: And then like an hour or two later, it literally
- 49:10Speaker 21: just like peeled off my skin, like.
- 49:12Speaker 4: A, like a pimple patch thing.
- 49:14Speaker 5: And when I took it off the skin underneath.
- 49:16Speaker 14: Looked like so good, like surprisingly good.
- 49:19Speaker 21: And now every time like I make eggs or like
- 49:22Speaker 21: I crack an egg, I'm like looking at the whites
- 49:24Speaker 21: and kind of, I don't know, I kind of get the.
- 49:26Speaker 5: Urge to do it again because it worked so well.
- 49:29Speaker 4: But it's weird, right?
- 49:31Speaker 6: No, it's not weird because just hearing you tell this story,
- 49:33Speaker 6: you just like unlocked a core memory for me as
- 49:36Speaker 6: a kid. My mom went to beauty school. And she
- 49:39Speaker 6: would always practice her hair stuff on me, dyeing my hair,
- 49:42Speaker 6: do whatever. But I remember, because when you're beauty school,
- 49:45Speaker 6: you do the esthetician thing. And I remember, now I
- 49:48Speaker 6: hear her little Mexican accent, Mijito, let me put a
- 49:50Speaker 6: mask on you. And she made a mask. It was
- 49:53Speaker 6: egg whites. And she put egg whites all over my face.
- 49:56Speaker 6: And then it got like hard and crunchy. And I
- 49:58Speaker 6: was so irritated. And she would do it like every
- 50:01Speaker 6: couple of weeks, I'd have to have a mask on
- 50:02Speaker 6: my face. And you guys, does this sound familiar to
- 50:04Speaker 6: you guys?
- 50:04Speaker 9: I feel like I remember that being a thing.
- 50:08Speaker 6: It gets all hard and crunchy.
- 50:09Speaker 9: I also remember people using eggs on their hair. Like
- 50:14Speaker 9: something eggs with hair.
- 50:15Speaker 3: That makes sense because there's protein in it.
- 50:18Speaker 9: Maybe I'm off base there. But I feel like I
- 50:21Speaker 9: remember something like that.
- 50:22Speaker 3: You've heard of beer in your hair?
- 50:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 50:24Speaker 4: So eggs on your face.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Maybe the egg on your face, maybe that's where that
- 50:27Speaker 3: came from. It's a beauty school thing.
- 50:29Speaker 6: Literally, unlock the memory. I completely thought about that. Not
- 50:32Speaker 6: thought about that.
- 50:33Speaker 9: Well, you've got great skin now, so maybe.
- 50:35Speaker 3: That's part of it.
- 50:36Speaker 6: Don't I have great skin? Skin better now. Now it's
- 50:38Speaker 6: skin better and other things. All right. Well, thanks for
- 50:40Speaker 6: calling in, Kendall.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Thank you so much, guys. Eggs and pasta water. That's
- 50:45Speaker 3: the secret.
- 50:45Speaker 6: You know what's funny, too? It's been in this segment.
- 50:48Speaker 6: so many opportunities for dirty jokes and nobody took them.
- 50:52Speaker 13: Yeah, good job.
- 50:52Speaker 9: I'm glad you were reserved.
- 50:54Speaker 6: Thank you. I thought of them.
- 50:55Speaker 3: I thought of a lot of them. Do you want
- 50:57Speaker 3: to just get one out?
- 50:58Speaker 8: No.
- 50:58Speaker 6: No way. But I'll tell you what's going to happen
- 51:02Speaker 6: because it's happened before. We've talked about something similar to this.
- 51:05Speaker 6: It's going to pop up on my Instagram, these dirty things,
- 51:08Speaker 6: and then I'll send them to my wife and then
- 51:09Speaker 6: she'll get mad. Hey, man, why don't we try this?
- 51:12Speaker 6: Apparently it's good for your skin.
- 51:13Speaker 3: Huh?
- 51:13Speaker 6: What do you say, kiddo? What do you say? Huh?
- 51:16Speaker 6: John Jay and Rich. All right, it's time for a
- 51:24Speaker 6: very special Breaking Bad News.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Ooh, been a minute.
- 51:27Speaker 6: It's been a minute. This has been kind of going
- 51:29Speaker 6: on for a while. Hannah's on the line. She wants
- 51:32Speaker 6: to do a Breaking Bad News to her mom. But
- 51:34Speaker 6: there's a whole setup to this, obviously. But part of
- 51:36Speaker 6: it was that she was living. Hannah, what's the story?
- 51:38Speaker 6: You're living in London?
- 51:40Speaker 12: Yep, I live in London, England, but I'm originally from
- 51:43Speaker 12: the Phoenix area. And so my mom and I have
- 51:45Speaker 12: been listening to your show for over 20 years. And
- 51:48Speaker 12: so she is a big, big fan and she is
- 51:51Speaker 12: about to turn 60 and she is convinced that because
- 51:55Speaker 12: I'm in the U.S. right now in Texas looking at
- 51:57Speaker 12: wedding venues that I am coming to surprise her for
- 52:00Speaker 12: her birthday next week. So I thought this would be
- 52:04Speaker 12: a great opportunity to get her on the line and
- 52:06Speaker 12: do something that she's obsessed with. And she thinks that
- 52:11Speaker 12: she's hopeful that I'm flying out on Monday morning for
- 52:14Speaker 12: her birthday. The bad news is that I'm not flying
- 52:18Speaker 12: out on Monday. I'm actually flying out on Saturday. And
- 52:21Speaker 12: we are going to go to the movies together instead
- 52:24Speaker 12: of her and her friends going to the movies.
- 52:26Speaker 6: Okay, so you're going to surprise her a couple days early. Yeah.
- 52:29Speaker 3: That's cute.
- 52:29Speaker 6: Okay.
- 52:30Speaker 3: Okay. That's cute. So instead of her thinking maybe you
- 52:33Speaker 3: won't see her at all, although she was hoping for
- 52:35Speaker 3: a surprise, you're going to hit her right away. You're
- 52:37Speaker 3: going to be there sooner than she can ever imagine.
- 52:41Speaker 19: Exactly.
- 52:41Speaker 12: And I think that she's going to be really disappointed
- 52:43Speaker 12: at first because she's going to think that we're telling
- 52:46Speaker 12: her that I'm not coming. And then I think she's
- 52:48Speaker 12: just going to be so excited that I will be
- 52:50Speaker 12: there and that she's on the air with you guys.
- 52:52Speaker 6: We have Hannah on the phone, and you know she's
- 52:54Speaker 6: coming to visit you. Yeah, but she has some bad
- 52:57Speaker 6: news she wants to tell you, but she picked one
- 52:58Speaker 6: of us to do it for you.
- 53:00Speaker 12: Don't tell her that I'm coming to visit at all.
- 53:02Speaker 12: Just say, in Texas, she wanted to talk to you
- 53:06Speaker 12: on the air and break some bad news.
- 53:07Speaker 6: Does she know that you're in Texas already, or does
- 53:09Speaker 6: she think you're still in London?
- 53:11Speaker 12: She knows I'm in Texas.
- 53:12Speaker 6: Okay.
- 53:13Speaker 12: And I think you should have her guess what the
- 53:15Speaker 12: bad news is, too.
- 53:16Speaker 6: Okay.
- 53:16Speaker 12: I think that would be hilarious.
- 53:17Speaker 8: Okay.
- 53:19Speaker 3: You want to torture your poor mom.
- 53:20Speaker 6: Who wants to do the bad news? Kyle does.
- 53:22Speaker 3: Kyle's got it.
- 53:23Speaker 6: You got it?
- 53:25Speaker 3: I volunteer, Kyle.
- 53:26Speaker 9: Poor mama.
- 53:27Speaker 6: So it'll be like, what's your mom's name, Hannah?
- 53:30Speaker 14: Beth.
- 53:30Speaker 4: Beth.
- 53:31Speaker 6: So you're going to be like, Beth. But don't we
- 53:32Speaker 6: just say mom? Right, right. So you rip it open, mom.
- 53:35Speaker 6: So what's the bad news? Mom, you're not going to
- 53:37Speaker 6: go see Verity with your friends tomorrow.
- 53:40Speaker 12: I'm not coming to see you on your birthday.
- 53:42Speaker 3: Hannah's been thinking about this. Hannah's a planner. I have.
- 53:46Speaker 12: I'm not messing around with this.
- 53:48Speaker 6: Hold on. I'm not coming to see you on your birthday.
- 53:51Speaker 9: On Monday.
- 53:52Speaker 6: Why do you say Monday? Is her birthday Monday?
- 53:55Speaker 4: Her birthday's Monday.
- 53:55Speaker 6: Let's just say on your birthday because she knows it's
- 53:57Speaker 6: on Monday.
- 53:58Speaker 20: Okay.
- 53:58Speaker 6: I'm not coming to see you on your birthday. And
- 54:00Speaker 6: then pause. And then pause. Because she's going to be like, what?
- 54:04Speaker 9: You're not?
- 54:05Speaker 5: How sad.
- 54:06Speaker 9: And then let her react, react, react. And then, hold on,
- 54:09Speaker 9: there's more.
- 54:09Speaker 6: Hold on, there's more. Okay. I'm going to see you tomorrow, mommy.
- 54:14Speaker 6: Like that. Does that sound right, Hannah?
- 54:16Speaker 12: Yep, that sounds perfect.
- 54:18Speaker 6: Okay. Let's call Beth. So you stay quiet for a second.
- 54:25Speaker 16: Okay.
- 54:34Speaker 5: Hello?
- 54:35Speaker 3: Hey, is Beth there, please? This is Beth. Hey, Beth,
- 54:38Speaker 3: it's John Jane Rich. How's it going?
- 54:41Speaker 6: Oh, good.
- 54:43Speaker 3: Can we put you on the radio for just a moment, please?
- 54:45Speaker 6: Sure. Beth, what city are you in right now?
- 54:49Speaker 13: I am in Queen Creek.
- 54:50Speaker 21: Oh, good.
- 54:51Speaker 6: I understand you listen to our show every once in
- 54:52Speaker 6: a while.
- 54:54Speaker 13: Yes.
- 54:55Speaker 3: Somebody really should.
- 54:57Speaker 6: You're what? Say that again.
- 54:59Speaker 19: I said, I'm guessing my daughter put you up to this.
- 55:01Speaker 6: She did because we have a segment on our show
- 55:04Speaker 6: called Breaking Bad News. We haven't done it in a while.
- 55:06Speaker 6: Have you heard of it?
- 55:07Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 55:09Speaker 6: Well, what are you laughing at, Beth? What are you
- 55:11Speaker 6: laughing at, Beth?
- 55:14Speaker 5: Oh, is she pregnant?
- 55:16Speaker 3: Why is that bad news?
- 55:18Speaker 7: Sometimes people don't want babies right now, Rich, and that's fine.
- 55:22Speaker 9: She knows this segment is what she's saying.
- 55:24Speaker 6: So here's the deal. Here's the deal, Beth. Your daughter, Hannah,
- 55:26Speaker 6: is on the line with us right now. Before you
- 55:29Speaker 6: guys say hi, I just want to let you know
- 55:30Speaker 6: that there is some bad news she wants to deliver
- 55:32Speaker 6: to you. She asked us to do it. We have
- 55:35Speaker 6: the bad news written, and it's in an envelope.
- 55:38Speaker 8: And.
- 55:39Speaker 6: Kyle is probably going to read it to you when
- 55:41Speaker 6: the time comes, but not now you can see. So
- 55:44Speaker 6: it is some bad news and she's been wanting to
- 55:47Speaker 6: tell you this for a while. We didn't know how
- 55:48Speaker 6: to do it. So Hannah, you want to say hi
- 55:50Speaker 6: to your mom?
- 55:51Speaker 13: Hi mom.
- 55:53Speaker 12: Hi honey.
- 55:57Speaker 6: Okay. So Hannah, are you okay hearing the bad news?
- 56:01Speaker 14: Yep.
- 56:01Speaker 3: I'm ready.
- 56:02Speaker 6: And I want you to know that I'm sorry, Beth,
- 56:04Speaker 6: are you ready for the bad news?
- 56:05Speaker 3: Yes, I am.
- 56:06Speaker 12: There's nothing she could say or do that would, be
- 56:09Speaker 12: that bad.
- 56:09Speaker 6: So I'm ready.
- 56:10Speaker 9: Okay.
- 56:10Speaker 6: Well, I just want to let you know, if it
- 56:12Speaker 6: does cause an emotional reaction and you're going to cry
- 56:15Speaker 6: or something, just take your time. Don't worry about it. Okay. Okay. Okay. Kyle,
- 56:19Speaker 6: whenever you're ready.
- 56:21Speaker 9: Okay, Beth, I have it right here. Okay, Beth, here
- 56:25Speaker 9: we go. Mom, I know you were expecting me to,
- 56:30Speaker 9: but I'm not coming to see you on your birthday.
- 56:33Speaker 13: Okay. I really wasn't expecting you to honey.
- 56:37Speaker 3: It would have been nice, but Well, I know.
- 56:40Speaker 12: That you just, you keep telling your friends that you
- 56:42Speaker 12: thought I was going to come and surprise you since
- 56:44Speaker 12: I'm in Texas. And I just didn't want you to
- 56:48Speaker 12: get your hopes up.
- 56:49Speaker 9: Beth, there's actually more on this, the letter. Okay. So
- 56:54Speaker 9: after it says, I'm not coming to see you on
- 56:56Speaker 9: your birthday, it says, I'll actually be seeing you tomorrow.
- 57:03Speaker 19: Really?
- 57:04Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 57:07Speaker 12: You have plans to go see the movies tomorrow? You
- 57:09Speaker 12: have plans to go to the movies with your friends,
- 57:11Speaker 12: but I'm going to be there. We're going to go
- 57:13Speaker 12: see the movie.
- 57:14Speaker 20: Okay.
- 57:17Speaker 13: That's amazing.
- 57:19Speaker 20: I'm crying.
- 57:23Speaker 14: Is J.D.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Coming too?
- 57:24Speaker 3: J.D.
- 57:24Speaker 12: 's my fiance. He's not coming. It is just going
- 57:28Speaker 12: to be me, but we're going to have a lot
- 57:30Speaker 12: of fun. And what's really funny is that a couple
- 57:34Speaker 12: weeks ago, I made you dinner reservations for Sunday night.
- 57:39Speaker 12: And then my brother texted me earlier this week and
- 57:42Speaker 12: said that mom made dinner reservations for her and the
- 57:44Speaker 12: family at the same restaurant at the same time on Sunday.
- 57:49Speaker 12: I have another reservation that includes me.
- 57:52Speaker 13: What a fun family you guys have.
- 57:58Speaker 6: And that's breaking bad news.
- 58:00Speaker 5: This is a very best treat for me.
- 58:04Speaker 6: I know. You know, the original plan was to have her,
- 58:07Speaker 6: you were going to open the door and she'd be outside.
- 58:09Speaker 6: That would have been amazing. I know, but we couldn't
- 58:11Speaker 6: get the flight arranged in time. All right. Anyway, happy birthday, Beth.
- 58:15Speaker 6: Thanks for listening, you guys.
- 58:17Speaker 5: Oh, I love you guys so much.
- 58:18Speaker 17: You guys make my day every single day. So, thank you.
- 58:22Speaker 18: I'll see you tomorrow, Ham.
- 58:24Speaker 7: See you, Mom.
- 58:25Speaker 13: Thank you, guys.
- 58:26Speaker 3: Love you.
- 58:27Speaker 9: Love you.
- 58:28Speaker 4: Love you.
- 58:30Speaker 10: Bye.
- 58:31Speaker 9: Are you following us on Insta at John.
- 58:33Speaker 4: Jay and Rich?
- 58:34Speaker 6: Hit us up and get caught up in the lore
- 58:36Speaker 6: of the doom scroll.
- 58:37Speaker 8: Okay, John Jay and Rich, I actually need your guys'
- 58:39Speaker 8: help specifically for this because apparently men have found the
- 58:43Speaker 8: ultimate loophole for getting out of doing literally anything around
- 58:47Speaker 8: the house, and it's going number two. So this divorce coach,
- 58:51Speaker 8: her name's Olivia Howell, she basically went viral because she
- 58:54Speaker 8: says that men are now doing weaponized pooping. So, like,
- 58:58Speaker 8: before you kind of, like, roll your eyes, like, basically, some, like,
- 59:02Speaker 8: what men are doing are saying that the bathroom is
- 59:04Speaker 8: the perfect escape hatch. So, like, if think about it,
- 59:08Speaker 8: if like your husband, like if you need him in
- 59:09Speaker 8: the garage, like if you need him, you got to
- 59:11Speaker 8: go find him in the garage. You can't tell him
- 59:12Speaker 8: to get off off the couch. But when it's time
- 59:15Speaker 8: to do some chores, where's your husband always at?
- 59:18Speaker 3: The bathroom.
- 59:20Speaker 8: Always in the bathroom. And you can't tell a grown
- 59:22Speaker 8: man like, no, you can't go to the bathroom. So
- 59:25Speaker 8: the second that he says I have to go to
- 59:26Speaker 8: the bathroom, he's kind of untouchable.
- 59:29Speaker 9: Yeah, that's really annoying. Scott disappears all the time. And
- 59:32Speaker 9: I'm like, where the heck is he? And then I
- 59:34Speaker 9: walked in. Oh, sure enough, there he is in the bathroom.
- 59:36Speaker 3: Cool.
- 59:37Speaker 6: And what's not he doing?
- 59:39Speaker 3: Everything. Oh, really?
- 59:40Speaker 9: No, just kidding. He does a lot, but it does
- 59:42Speaker 9: just disappear. Oh, I'm like making four different dinners for everybody.
- 59:46Speaker 9: There's like crap all over the house. It's like chaos
- 59:49Speaker 9: is ensuing. And I'm like, you know, it would be
- 59:51Speaker 9: really helpful if my husband is around. But no, he's...
- 59:54Speaker 9: sitting on the toilet.
- 59:54Speaker 3: How long is the how long are these escapades where
- 59:57Speaker 3: like where people are noticing like hey he's been gone
- 59:59Speaker 3: for like 10 20 minutes.
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: Well exactly and so well kind of the idea is
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: that it's not intentional like when you go to the
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: bathroom you probably do have to go to the bathroom
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: but you bring your phone in there and now your
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: four minute poo has turned into a 37 minute poo
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: like i said.
- 1:00:13Speaker 9: You don't think it's intentional i kind of feel like
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: it is.
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: Intentional A 37-minute poop, by the way, is really bad.
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: It's unhealthy for you.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: She's not wrong.
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: The guy's already home and then it's time to do something.
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: He says, I gotta go to the bathroom. Or is
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: it like he comes home from work and he goes
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: right into the bathroom?
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: Could be either or.
- 1:00:34Speaker 8: It's just that you're weaponizing the restroom to get out
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: of doing stuff.
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: Around the house.
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: I do that when we are at events. That was
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: my thing. I would go hide in the bathroom. All
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: the listeners know it. Everybody knows. I would just always
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: go to the bathroom.
- 1:00:47Speaker 9: Yeah, if anyone wanted to, like, talk to you, they're like,
- 1:00:49Speaker 9: we'll just go to the bathroom.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: Do you know how many times Kyle and I have
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: said hello to listeners? They're like, was John Jay.
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: Hiding in the bathroom? I'm not wrong.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: It's true.
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: I know. Anyway. Okay, Peyton, is there more to this test?
- 1:00:59Speaker 8: No, I mean, yeah, just to that theory. I mean,
- 1:01:02Speaker 8: women have it, too. So, like, maybe it could be like, oh,
- 1:01:05Speaker 8: I'm putting laundry away. Meanwhile, we're, like, laying down on bed, like,
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: watching TikTok.
- 1:01:09Speaker 9: Yeah. I don't think we get away with that.
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: I saw this thing the other day where it was
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: like certain rules. I can't remember what it was on Instagram.
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: Certain rules. And it was like one rule was that
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: the person who makes dinner shouldn't have to do the dishes.
- 1:01:21Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: Right? And I just saw that a couple days ago.
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: And it bothered me so much. And then my wife
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: last night made dinner. And then I sat on the couch.
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: And then she did the dishes.
- 1:01:31Speaker 9: That was like a huge argument between my dad and
- 1:01:33Speaker 9: my stepmom for a very long time. Like it like
- 1:01:36Speaker 9: almost broke them. Like she's like, would get so frustrated.
- 1:01:39Speaker 9: Like if I go through the trouble and I am
- 1:01:41Speaker 9: making dinner, the least you could do is help clean up.
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: Yeah, I know. It feels so right. But then I
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: went and sat on the couch and watched TV and
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: I felt so bad. And then I kind of got,
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: now when I fed the dogs, you know, and I
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: was like, oh yeah, I fed the dogs. You know,
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: but I felt like so.
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: Anytime I make dinner and then I'm cleaning up the
- 1:01:56Speaker 9: dishes afterwards, I definitely evil eye everyone in the house.
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: Okay, but you do make dinner and do the dishes
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: and then you evil eye.
- 1:02:01Speaker 9: Yeah, and I get pissed about it.
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: You do what?
- 1:02:03Speaker 9: And then I get real angry about it.
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: Do you say something? Are you angry for the whole night?
- 1:02:07Speaker 9: Like usually afterwards, I'll be like passive aggressive, but I'm like,
- 1:02:09Speaker 9: don't worry guys, I cleaned up too. I did make
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: you dinner, but I also cleaned up your welcome.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: So like I went to bed last night. So when
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: this happened last night, I went to bed last night
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: and there's a, when we go to bed, there's like
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: a whole routine and we have this one dog taco
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: and taco sleeps in the laundry room. And he's usually
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: the last dog you put away. And I was upstairs
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: and my wife was doing her thing in the hot tub.
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: And I was like, I should go back downstairs and
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: put taco away for hers. Cause she made dinner and
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: she did the dishes. And then I go downstairs and
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: I see her coming up. I go, I'm going to
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: go put taco away. She's like, I already put taco away.
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: And I'm like, Oh, okay. And then I thought, Is
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: there a chance there's going to be sex? Probably not.
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: And there wasn't.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: There was none. See?
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: There was none. There was nothing like that. Not at all.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: There's no games played in my house. I was actually
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: loading the dishwasher last night and Stacy walks up to
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: me and she's like, oh, I was going to do that,
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: but I don't want to.
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: At least she's honest about it.
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: I'm very honest all the time.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: I'm very transparent.
- 1:03:03Speaker 13: Totally.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: Totally communicative.
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: What are, what do we call that? What are the,
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: what are those rules? Like, what can we call, what
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: if we put together our own list? Cause I would
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: like that.
- 1:03:10Speaker 7: Unspoken.
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: But like, no, like, like I was just like things
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: you stand on. Is that how you say it? Yeah.
- 1:03:15Speaker 8: Like standing 10 toes down on.
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: 10 toes down that whoever makes dinner should not have
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: to do the dishes.
- 1:03:21Speaker 10: Bang.
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: That's one.
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: You're all in. Like there's no change in your mind.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: On that what's another rule i know in my house
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: it's like i'm i'm the one who takes out the
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: trash i'm the trash person it's.
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: I'm the one who knocks which is the line it's
- 1:03:35Speaker 6: not i'm the one who takes out the trash that
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: would have changed the danger that would have changed breaking
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: bad i'm the one that takes out the.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: Trash like nobody else apparently knows where the trash can
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: is just me there's only.
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: One thing that i feel like in our house that
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: i'm like i am not doing that everything else i
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: pretty much do I don't like to, like, roll up
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: my own joints.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: Pass.
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: That's a male thing.
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: Same in my house.
- 1:03:55Speaker 8: Yeah. I'm not doing that.
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: I'm not doing that.
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: I don't want to touch it and make your hands sticky.
- 1:04:00Speaker 9: My thing is, is, like, if there's anything going on
- 1:04:02Speaker 9: with our cars, Sky has to take care of it.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:04:04Speaker 9: He has to take care of that.
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: That's good.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: I can't do it.
- 1:04:07Speaker 13: Okay.
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: So, ten toes down that whoever makes dinner should never
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: do the dishes. For Peyton specifically, you don't roll your
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: own joints.
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: And Kyle is kind of like the blue job.
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: Cars are a blue job.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Cars are a blue job. I think birthdays are the
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: wife job. You shouldn't have to remember everybody's birthday. I'm
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: not going to remember those.
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: I put the.
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: Birthdays in the calendar and Kadeem literally tells me, stop.
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: I don't care if it's their birthday.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: He would agree with me.
- 1:04:37Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: So if there's something else that you stand 10 toes
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: down on, maybe we could put like an Instagram graphic
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: and post it on. Here are the rules. What we
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: believe are the specific rules. We'll see. Text us. Text
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: what you stand 10 toes down on to JJR96893. Put
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: JJR on the front. All right, we're going to play
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: a game. Good morning, Lisa. How are you?
- 1:05:07Speaker 14: It's Lissa.
- 1:05:09Speaker 10: I'm good.
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: Oh, Lissa. I'm sorry. You know, there's two S's here.
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: I'm so sorry.
- 1:05:14Speaker 13: I know.
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: It throws everybody off.
- 1:05:15Speaker 9: I know.
- 1:05:16Speaker 8: I know.
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: We're going to play a game. You're going to be
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: our contestant. You down to play?
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: Absolutely. I'm so excited.
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: Okay. What game are we playing, you guys?
- 1:05:24Speaker 7: We're playing Impostor.
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: So, Lissa, Nick, our producer, has secretly picked one person
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: in the studio to be the impostor. The rest of
- 1:05:33Speaker 8: us in the room have all gotten the same word
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: or the same phrase, and we are going to describe
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: the word without saying it. But the thing is, Lissa,
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: one of us is lying. One of us is not
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: telling the truth and is the imposter, and you are
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: the one.
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: Who has to figure out who it is.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: Awesome.
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: So you get to pick out of John Jay, Rich, Kyle,
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: or me, Peyton, on who you want to start us off.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:05:54Speaker 13: Let's start off with John Jay.
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: Princess. Ghost.
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: Crispine.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: Pregnant.
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: The Dark Knight.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: Anthropology.
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: Headboard.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: Meryl.
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: Catwoman.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: Candy.
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: My childhood.
- 1:06:12Speaker 9: Iconic.
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: Diary.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: Neighborhood.
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: Okay, Lissa, do you have any idea on who in
- 1:06:19Speaker 8: the room is the imposter?
- 1:06:22Speaker 12: My gut is telling me that Kyle is the imposter.
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: I am not the imposter.
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: So Kyle knows the topic... and the trend, and the word.
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: Shall we begin again?
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: John Jay, start us off.
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: Odyssey.
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: Lantern.
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: Brunette.
- 1:06:41Speaker 9: Red stiletto.
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: Did someone say pregnant already? Pregnant. Oh, man. Oh, Days
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: of Thunder.
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: Top Gun.
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: Tom Holland's mom.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Devil.
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: Tom Cruise.
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: Any other guesses now, Alyssa? Can't be Kyle.
- 1:07:01Speaker 8: Who do you think is saying the most out of, like, normal?
- 1:07:05Speaker 14: I think it's Rich.
- 1:07:06Speaker 13: I think it's Rich.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: What do you think the topic is, by the way?
- 1:07:08Speaker 12: I have no idea.
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: Do you know what it is, Rich?
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: No, I have no idea. Oh, you were right.
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: I know, but sometimes you catch on, and I was
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: wondering if you were going to try. I knew immediately
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: that you were the imposter, but I was like, you
- 1:07:21Speaker 6: weren't even trying to figure it out.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: No, I was, but I couldn't figure out where you
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: were going, like, Well, here's what I was trying to do.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: I was trying to think of what Nick would pick,
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: and I thought he was going to pick a Halloween thing.
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: So I just went in deep right away. So let
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: me see if Rich can get what it is. Okay,
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: so Princess, Diaries, Dark Knight. And Hathaway. And Hathaway.
- 1:07:41Speaker 9: You got it.
- 1:07:42Speaker 6: That's it.
- 1:07:42Speaker 9: That was the topic.
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: All right, so Alyssa, you win.
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: Yay!
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: But I wasn't sure what your prize was. Do you
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: want tickets to Becky G at the Arizona State Fair,
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: or would you like to go see Matt Rife?
- 1:07:52Speaker 9: Oh, my God.
- 1:07:52Speaker 10: Matt Rife, please.
- 1:07:53Speaker 6: Okay, great.
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: Hold on.
- 1:07:55Speaker 6: We will set you up. Hold on.
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: Oh, sorry.
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: Cut you off. Matt Rife. I got this DM from Yvette.
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: And she goes, you guys should do worse things about
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: an ex for Matt Rife tickets. My ex murdered someone
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: and got away with it.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: Dang.
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: It's online. I can win. Please. I said, explain, please.
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: And she goes, she sent me a link to the story.
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: And then I'm like, wow. She gave me your phone number.
- 1:08:21Speaker 6: The problem is we're all out of Matt Rife tickets.
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: So I wonder if, let me see if I got
- 1:08:25Speaker 6: an idea.
- 1:08:26Speaker 8: Hey, Yvette. Yes.
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: Okay, let me ask you something. So your message says
- 1:08:30Speaker 6: this great idea for Matt Rife tickets, right?
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, you don't even know. He's on my
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: bucket list.
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: That would be.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: The second person I've gone to see because my kids
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: paid for Mary J. Blige already this year, you know,
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: on my 50th birthday.
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: How do you, how do you, how do you, is
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: Becky G on your bucket list?
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: Becky G, no. It would be not right.
- 1:08:56Speaker 16: Oh, no.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: That would be to my kids. Then I would have
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: to hand it down to them. And I ain't trying
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: to win for them. They can win on their damn own.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right. You got your own stories.
- 1:09:05Speaker 6: I got you, Rebecca.
- 1:09:06Speaker 13: I'm working hard on this.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: Hold on. Okay, hold on.
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: That's why I win it for me.
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: All right, hold on. The story that you have about
- 1:09:15Speaker 6: your ex killing someone, that's a true story, right?
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: That is a true story. Like, it's online. Like, I'm
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: not even lying. Like, I literally drove him to the
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: bus station to go back to that damn place where
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: he needs to be.
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: Okay. I have an idea because we want to hear
- 1:09:32Speaker 6: your story. But I'm telling you right now, we're all
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: out of Matt Rife tickets. But I can call somebody
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: to see if they have. Let me see. Just hold on.
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: I'm going to call.
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: Listen.
- 1:09:40Speaker 8: Listen.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: Listen, Linda.
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: Okay. Hold on. Hold on.
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: So, like, my story is.
- 1:09:46Speaker 8: Hold on.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Hold on a second. Hold on a minute.
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: Oh, I'm trying to get, I'm trying to call the
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: person in charge of.
- 1:09:51Speaker 7: Hello?
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: Hey, Mo.
- 1:09:53Speaker 12: Hi.
- 1:09:53Speaker 6: Hey, what's up? Hey, so you're on the radio with us,
- 1:09:56Speaker 6: by the way, real quick. We're about to hear an
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: incredible story, but she wants the Matt Rife tickets for it.
- 1:10:02Speaker 6: Do we have an extra pair? I know. It involves murder.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: Wait, wait, wait.
- 1:10:13Speaker 6: What did you say? What did you say, Mo? Yeah.
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: I honestly don't know if I have another pair.
- 1:10:18Speaker 9: I know.
- 1:10:19Speaker 8: Yeah, this is.
- 1:10:20Speaker 12: Catching me off guard here.
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: You know what? Let me tell you something about.
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: Hold on, Yvette.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 1:10:25Speaker 6: She can't hear you. Hold on, Yvette. Yvette, hold on.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Hold on.
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: Mo can't hear you, Yvette.
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: Hold on. Hold on. Only we can hear. You can't hear. Okay,
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: so wait, wait.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: It's like a ghost.
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: So, Mo, she has this... Yvette's on the line, and
- 1:10:34Speaker 6: she goes, I've got this great story to tell you.
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: Mo, Mo, Mo, let me tell you.
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: Yvette, she can't hear you. Hold on.
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: Hold on, Yvette. Hold on. So Yvette's ex killed somebody
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: and she's going to tell us a story. We can
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: get her a Matt Rife ticket. So I was like,
- 1:10:49Speaker 6: we call you first. She won't take Becky G. I
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: think we can get her Becky G, but no.
- 1:10:53Speaker 9: I can definitely get her Becky G.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: But it has to be Matt Rife.
- 1:10:57Speaker 8: I'm 15 years old.
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: You think I want.
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: To see Becky G? Hold on, Yvette.
- 1:11:01Speaker 9: I can't hear the story.
- 1:11:03Speaker 6: I know, I know. So if you get tickets, let
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: me know. Text me or call me back, will you? Yeah,
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: for sure. Okay, thank you, Mo. Thank you. That's Mo,
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: our marketing director, you guys. Okay, Yvette, now, we don't
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: have them yet. You still want us to... I can
- 1:11:17Speaker 6: tell you this. We've never done this before, but you
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: can tell us the story, and if we get an
- 1:11:21Speaker 6: extra pair, they're yours. Mo's working on it.
- 1:11:23Speaker 12: Oh, my God.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: Let me tell you that Matt Rice would be on this,
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: because do you know who I would take?
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: Who?
- 1:11:30Speaker 8: Um.
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: The father of my five kids, that we were together
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: for 30 years. He's been hanging out with me since
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: last Friday, which is so crazy. So I got a
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: whole lot of stories for you guys.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: Why is it crazy that you're hanging out with the
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: father of your five kids?
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: Because she's hanging out with her baby daddy. I have
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: a 29-year-old, a 26-year-old, a 23-year-old, a 20-year-old, and almost
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: a 17-year-old. And let me tell you, one of those
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: motherfuckers is an MIT graduate.
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: Great.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: Okay. Okay, listen.
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: So let me tell you, I'm a proud mama. I've
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: done a lot of, you know, to raise my kids.
- 1:12:06Speaker 17: Let me tell you.
- 1:12:06Speaker 13: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: You would have a, like, oh, my gosh. It would
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: be a whole show with me, guys.
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: Okay, listen.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 1:12:15Speaker 13: Yvette, Yvette.
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: Andale, mira, mira, mira. Let's get to the ex that
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: murdered somebody. What's that story?
- 1:12:21Speaker 13: Okay, so listen.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: I could send you all that stuff, like, Literally, I
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: met him in 2021, which was so crazy. And, like, literally,
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: we went out to dinner one night, and we were, like,
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: having tacos, of course, because, you know, I'm Mexican. But
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: then he was looking through his stuff, and then he
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: found out that there was a war in town because
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: he left wherever he was from to come over here and,
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: you know, kind of, like, I guess, run away.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: And then he ended up getting picked up, like, Maybe, like,
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: a week later, which was so crazy. And then he
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: went back.
- 1:13:00Speaker 13: Like, he was over there.
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: He was in jail and all of that stuff. He
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: went to court. And then he got away with that.
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: Okay, but you still haven't told us who killed him. Like,
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: tell us the story. You said, like, I don't want to.
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: You said, who did he kill? Can I send you
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: the link?
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: No, just tell it to us.
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: I don't want to read it. This is a newspaper.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: Give us the short version for the radio.
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: It's a radio show, so just tell us, what did
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: he do?
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: Okay, so short version. Okay, so somebody came into his house.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: I guess, wanting to buy drugs because that's what he
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: was doing. But I guess, you know, he used whatever
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: other things he had been through before as PTSD because
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: of the way the cops made him feel. That's how
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: he got away with it in court, because he had
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: PTSD about what had happened in previous things that he
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: had been into.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:13:50Speaker 7: So what he claimed, like self-defense?
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: What? That he got away with it. But did you
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: date him?
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: So he got away with it.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: Did you date him, like, during this?
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: Let me tell you, he was over here staying with me,
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: so he did not have no damn PTSD.
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: I have PTSD from this phone call.
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: I know, you're killing me. I'm still confused. You need
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: to give us that right tickets.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 1:14:14Speaker 12: All right.
- 1:14:16Speaker 8: Oh, no.
- 1:14:18Speaker 6: Okay, Yvette.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: I didn't really want to put it all out there,
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: so I kind of blocked off his name, but I
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: could send you the whole spiel.
- 1:14:34Speaker 6: No, no, no, that's good. Okay, Yvette, so we'll let
- 1:14:36Speaker 6: you know if we get those Matt Rife tickets, and
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: we're waiting. Okay, so I got your number. If we
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: get them, I'll call you. If not, you have Becky G.
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: If not, hold on. Nick is updating us. Yeah.
- 1:14:45Speaker 11: Does Yvette really want Matt Rife tickets?
- 1:14:48Speaker 13: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: You don't even know. He's on my bucket list.
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: Oh, you know, if that's a bucket list, Nick, we're
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: going to want to hear his story again. Okay, well,
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: then never mind. We don't got him. All right, you
- 1:14:57Speaker 6: got him, Yvette. You got him.
- 1:14:59Speaker 15: Oh, my God.
- 1:14:59Speaker 19: You guys are so flipping amazing.
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: I love you.
- 1:15:02Speaker 6: Orale. Orale, Yvette.
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: Orale.
- 1:15:06Speaker 19: You guys are the motherfucking best.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: You kiss your kids with that mouth? You guys have made.
- 1:15:14Speaker 13: My 50th, like, year.
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: Like, I've been celebrating all year. You know, I turned
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: 50 in September. John Jay, you know, his birthday.
- 1:15:20Speaker 8: Is on the 4th.
- 1:15:21Speaker 4: Mine is on the 2nd. So, you know, we're Virgos.
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: He's a different kind of Virgo than I am.
- 1:15:25Speaker 5: Yeah, you sound like a hoot, Yvette.
- 1:15:29Speaker 4: John Jay is a different kind of Virgo than I am.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: You know, he's an introvert.
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: Yes, I am the opposite of you, Yvette. The opposite.
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: All right, hold on.
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: But you know what? I love you guys.
- 1:15:40Speaker 6: You guys.
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: You know what? You guys are my wake-up tune. Like, literally,
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: as soon as I wake up, who do I turn on?
- 1:15:47Speaker 13: You.
- 1:15:48Speaker 6: You sound like my mom. Go, go, go.
- 1:15:50Speaker 14: You know what?
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: I don't even know.
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: I don't even know.
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: You know what? I don't even know. Mijito, you know what?
- 1:15:55Speaker 6: I don't even know. I don't even know. That's what
- 1:15:57Speaker 6: my mom used to say. All right, you guys, hold on.
- 1:15:58Speaker 6: We're going to set you up.
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: I don't even know.
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: Thank you for listening. Hold on. He's on my bucket list.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: She got it.
- 1:16:02Speaker 14: You guys are.
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: The f * * * ing best.
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: I love you.
- 1:16:05Speaker 14: Run from the sunlight, Dracula.
- 1:16:10Speaker 7: It's with the fuse man.
- 1:16:13Speaker 6: What do we need to know today?
- 1:16:14Speaker 9: Remember the woman we told you about yesterday who somehow
- 1:16:17Speaker 9: survived two attempts to execute her in Tennessee? Well, Krista
- 1:16:21Speaker 9: Pike is still alive this morning, but she is in
- 1:16:23Speaker 9: critical condition. She's getting life-saving medical care right now, and
- 1:16:26Speaker 9: her lawyers say they still don't know whether she suffered
- 1:16:28Speaker 9: brain damage. Now, Tennessee has stopped all executions for the
- 1:16:32Speaker 9: rest of the year while they investigate how the heck
- 1:16:34Speaker 9: this happened, because experts say nobody is known to have
- 1:16:38Speaker 9: survived after the execution drugs actually entered their body. If
- 1:16:42Speaker 9: you keep seeing women post hashtag I am Jane Doe
- 1:16:45Speaker 9: and have no idea what it means, it all goes
- 1:16:48Speaker 9: back to that former Cornell student who says seven fraternity
- 1:16:51Speaker 9: members sexually assaulted her. After a journalist asked the internet
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: to help figure out who the anonymous woman was, women
- 1:16:58Speaker 9: basically said absolutely not and started calling themselves Jane Doe too,
- 1:17:01Speaker 9: flooding social media to make her harder to identify, while
- 1:17:05Speaker 9: some are also sharing their own stories of assault. Getting
- 1:17:08Speaker 9: gas right now, it can be pretty painful. It is
- 1:17:10Speaker 9: just so expensive. So here's a little something that may
- 1:17:13Speaker 9: actually help. If you have Amazon Prime starting today, you
- 1:17:17Speaker 9: can get 20 cents off every gallon at participating AM,
- 1:17:21Speaker 9: PM stations through January 29th. You just have to link
- 1:17:24Speaker 9: your Prime account to a free Earnify account first. And
- 1:17:27Speaker 9: with all the AM, PM stations around the valley, this
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: is one Prime perk we can actually use. Waymo has
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: officially decided we are ready for the next level because
- 1:17:35Speaker 9: their driverless cars are taking passengers on the freeways now.
- 1:17:39Speaker 9: So you can literally be sitting in the backseat with
- 1:17:42Speaker 9: nobody behind the wheel while this thing merges into traffic,
- 1:17:44Speaker 9: changes lanes, cruises down the freeway at full speed, which
- 1:17:47Speaker 9: personally I'm not sure I'm emotionally ready for yet. But
- 1:17:50Speaker 9: ready or not, here it comes. If you bought a
- 1:17:53Speaker 9: Powerball ticket in Gilbert, find that ticket because somebody is
- 1:17:57Speaker 9: sitting on a ticket worth $ 200, 000. It was sold at
- 1:18:00Speaker 9: the Fries near Higley and Pecos, and the ticket originally
- 1:18:03Speaker 9: won $ 50, 000, but the buyer had the four times power play,
- 1:18:07Speaker 9: which bumped it up to 200K. That money is still
- 1:18:10Speaker 9: waiting to be claimed, and hopefully it's you. And that's
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: what you need to know today with John Jay and Rich.
