- 0:00Speaker 1: It was going on. Everybody. It's Romeo. I hope you
- 0:02Speaker 1: had a great weekend. We're back. We talked a little
- 0:03Speaker 1: bit about marriage and whether marriage is the problem in
- 0:06Speaker 1: your relationship or not. We'll get into that. We talked
- 0:08Speaker 1: a little bit about AI and how that changes things,
- 0:11Speaker 1: especially from a service job situation, where now you can
- 0:15Speaker 1: just look up anything you want. And we talked a
- 0:17Speaker 1: little bit about well, let's see what we talked about.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Let's go all right. I gotta say this has never
- 0:23Speaker 1: happened to me before. This is creepy. So I was
- 0:28Speaker 1: just a couple hours ago. It was about three thirty
- 0:32Speaker 1: in the morning, maybe three ish, and I was laying
- 0:37Speaker 1: I was having this dream that I was in some
- 0:39Speaker 1: sort of meeting, like I don't know if it was anyway,
- 0:44Speaker 1: I was having this dream that I was with all
- 0:45Speaker 1: these people, listening to somebody talking. We were in rows
- 0:48Speaker 1: of chairs, right, and I was messing around on my
- 0:53Speaker 1: phone and somebody was rubbing my back, like, you know,
- 0:58Speaker 1: massaging my back, softly massaging, and I could literally feel
- 1:03Speaker 1: it like I felt it, and it was a dream.
- 1:08Speaker 1: So I woke up and I was like, oh my god,
- 1:11Speaker 1: my back feels pretty good. I was. It was pretty creepy,
- 1:15Speaker 1: like I could. I don't know how to say it.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Whatever was going on in my dream I could feel
- 1:24Speaker 1: in real life, I guess. Is that the way I
- 1:26Speaker 1: put it? I mean, it's all real life, but it was.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I've never experienced anything like that before. Never. I mean,
- 1:33Speaker 1: I've had some dreams that seemed real right you wake up,
- 1:37Speaker 1: but nothing that actually had a sensor, a sense to it,
- 1:42Speaker 1: a sensory. How do you guys say? How would I
- 1:44Speaker 1: say it? I don't know. It was kind of creepy.
- 1:46Speaker 1: I mean, I wasn't scary because it wasn't anything scary
- 1:49Speaker 1: in the dream. It was just a bunch of people.
- 1:51Speaker 1: We were, you know, doing something, and for some reason,
- 1:55Speaker 1: the person behind me was rubbing my back in I
- 1:58Speaker 1: could feel it. I could feel it, and I woke
- 2:01Speaker 1: up and I was like, oh my god, I felt that,
- 2:03Speaker 1: like it was really, like it was really happening to me,
- 2:07Speaker 1: not in my dream, but really happened. Is that iminy
- 2:11Speaker 1: makes sense? It's kind of creepy. Hung thirty four two five,
- 2:14Speaker 1: four seven to seven. Oh all right, Roam. There was
- 2:17Speaker 1: this one time where I was asleep, but my girl
- 2:19Speaker 1: was up and she said at one point, I put
- 2:21Speaker 1: my arm straight up in the air pointing at something
- 2:24Speaker 1: while I was asleep. She freaked out, freaked out and
- 2:28Speaker 1: went to bed. Also took video. It looked pretty freaky. Wow,
- 2:32Speaker 1: that's crazy, man. Yeah, I don't know, you know, I
- 2:34Speaker 1: don't know what it was. I mean, I think it's
- 2:38Speaker 1: pretty common people have had this happen to them, where
- 2:40Speaker 1: they feel like something's on top of them and they
- 2:42Speaker 1: can't move. But a lot of people that have told
- 2:45Speaker 1: me the stories about that before. I think you said
- 2:47Speaker 1: you were you were awake when it happened. I can
- 2:51Speaker 1: remember correctly, I get I remember specifically. I was in
- 2:55Speaker 1: a dream when it happened, and it wasn't I wasn't
- 2:58Speaker 1: afraid of it. I just thought it was kind of
- 3:01Speaker 1: weird that I couldn't yell. And when I yelled, that's
- 3:04Speaker 1: when I and I heard the yelling clearly in my ears,
- 3:07Speaker 1: like like I was yelling in my dream, but I
- 3:11Speaker 1: heard it in reality. That was the weird part about it.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Gor How was going on?
- 3:16Speaker 2: Big?
- 3:17Speaker 3: This is big?
- 3:18Speaker 2: Ball was going on me?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Boy?
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I just want to know what you're drinking, bro,
- 3:22Speaker 2: I want some of that.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I wasn't drinking anything.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Dude, because man, I swear we did the same thing
- 3:30Speaker 2: at the bars.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Nothing.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I wasn't drinking nothing. It was weird, man, It was
- 3:34Speaker 1: the weirdest thing. It was weird.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Man, you have a hard weekend. What's going on?
- 3:42Speaker 1: Nothing? I don't know what about was honest with you,
- 3:45Speaker 1: no idea.
- 3:45Speaker 5: I didn't do them drinking.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yo, roam. You had sleep paralysis. I mean I've heard
- 3:56Speaker 1: about it. You guys have talked about that before me
- 3:59Speaker 1: back conversations about you know, having those having dreams where
- 4:03Speaker 1: you can't move you got But I wasn't awake. I
- 4:05Speaker 1: don't think it was a crazy little dream man.
- 4:09Speaker 4: It was.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It was interesting to to not be You know what
- 4:16Speaker 1: was funny was it wasn't the not being able to
- 4:19Speaker 1: move part that freaked me out. It was the and
- 4:23Speaker 1: it didn't even freak me out. It was the not
- 4:25Speaker 1: being able to yell. I was trying to say help
- 4:29Speaker 1: and I went It was it was that part that
- 4:33Speaker 1: was kind of like, what's going on here? And that
- 4:36Speaker 1: was the weird part to me, not the part that
- 4:38Speaker 1: I couldn't move. Was so talking in your sleep. We're
- 4:39Speaker 1: getting to talking in your sleep here in just a minute.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Because there was this story about this woman who beat
- 4:44Speaker 1: up her girlfriend because she was talking in her sleep
- 4:46Speaker 1: about her axe. But I had this weird dream where
- 4:49Speaker 1: I was like, it was a crazy dream. It was
- 4:52Speaker 1: like my grandmother was there and she was like a person.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I could see her popping in and out of doors
- 4:58Speaker 1: and whenever. And then like my grandfather was holding me down.
- 5:02Speaker 1: But it wasn't my grandfather. It was just some sort
- 5:04Speaker 1: of entity or something. And I was I wasn't scared.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I wasn't. There was just no no stress or fear
- 5:14Speaker 1: or nothing. But what happened was I couldn't move at
- 5:17Speaker 1: one point. Then I thought, you know what, let me
- 5:18Speaker 1: call for help, just so someone will help me. And
- 5:20Speaker 1: I kept saying but in my mind, I'm trying to
- 5:24Speaker 1: say help, but I can only get oh oh. And
- 5:27Speaker 1: but the weird part about it was I was doing
- 5:28Speaker 1: it in my dream, but it was almost like I
- 5:31Speaker 1: could hear it in reality through my you know, my ears,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and I'm like, hey, this is weird. And then I
- 5:36Speaker 1: woke up and I was like, what was that all about?
- 5:38Speaker 1: That was just weird? Good morning? How what's going on?
- 5:40Speaker 5: What was up Romeo?
- 5:41Speaker 1: This is greater day?
- 5:42Speaker 6: What up right?
- 5:42Speaker 1: Dad?
- 5:43Speaker 5: Hey did I got a story about the sleeping.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Sure, what's up.
- 5:47Speaker 5: So over the weekend, you know, me and my girl
- 5:49Speaker 5: were a party and just me and her drinking and
- 5:51Speaker 5: I was throwing some more delos. In the next morning,
- 5:56Speaker 5: the first thing she does was she wakes up. She doesn't, babe,
- 5:59Speaker 5: give me some eyes. And I'm thinking the worst. I'm like,
- 6:02Speaker 5: maybe she fell, Maybe I was.
- 6:04Speaker 6: Too rough with her.
- 6:06Speaker 7: And she's like, I said, why, what's wrong?
- 6:09Speaker 4: What do you do?
- 6:09Speaker 5: She says, I was beating some gass in my dream.
- 6:14Speaker 5: She got me, she got me wrong. I was off concerned,
- 6:17Speaker 5: and she's like I would in her her hand did
- 6:19Speaker 5: look like it was red.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Oh my god, I don't know.
- 6:23Speaker 5: I don't know how to explain that went. I was like, okay,
- 6:25Speaker 5: well here put it. Put it can.
- 6:26Speaker 6: But I gave her some.
- 6:28Speaker 5: Frozen stuff to put on her hands.
- 6:29Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 6:31Speaker 6: Well yeah, it was weird though.
- 6:32Speaker 5: But she said she was fighting in her dream and
- 6:33Speaker 5: she woke up in her.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Nus A d typical Raider fan.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So this whole sleep thing, right, I was screaming in
- 6:43Speaker 1: my sleep or yelling in my sleep in my dream,
- 6:46Speaker 1: and I think I was yelling outside. I think you
- 6:49Speaker 1: could hear it. But my uh my, my chick didn't
- 6:55Speaker 1: wake me up, didn't do nothing. So maybe I maybe
- 6:57Speaker 1: I was just I don't know. It was weird. It
- 7:00Speaker 1: was weird. I don't know, talking in your sleep. I
- 7:02Speaker 1: remember the story of this girl got beat up or
- 7:04Speaker 1: something for talking in her sleep about her ex or
- 7:07Speaker 1: something like that. Talking in your sleep? Though, have you
- 7:10Speaker 1: ever slept with somebody. I've been sleeping with somebody and
- 7:12Speaker 1: they started making noises or talking in their sleep, and
- 7:14Speaker 1: don't you wake them up? She isn't that the first
- 7:16Speaker 1: thing you should do? I mean, what, what?
- 7:19Speaker 7: What?
- 7:20Speaker 1: What do you do? Already?
- 7:21Speaker 4: Four?
- 7:22Speaker 1: Two by four or seven and seven eight romeo? Happens
- 7:24Speaker 1: to me all the time, so I'm used to it.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I just turn around and go back to sleep. It's
- 7:28Speaker 1: been happening since I was a teenager. While know what's
- 7:31Speaker 1: going on?
- 7:31Speaker 8: Good morning, morning Romeo?
- 7:32Speaker 4: Right around here?
- 7:33Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 7:34Speaker 3: Red Rob?
- 7:35Speaker 8: Hey man, that's the same thing I'd be going through.
- 7:38Speaker 8: But the thing is, though, the only reason why that
- 7:40Speaker 8: happens to be is because I'm you know, I'm focused
- 7:42Speaker 8: on something, I'm doing it, and then when I go
- 7:45Speaker 8: to bed, I try to shut everything down.
- 7:47Speaker 5: And I can't happen.
- 7:48Speaker 2: And I noticed too that when I overeat at night shees,
- 7:52Speaker 2: I open up fours and pass all kinds of weird dreams.
- 7:57Speaker 1: See. Now, I have heard of people having in anxiety
- 8:01Speaker 1: when they overeat, but I've never yeah, I've never. And
- 8:07Speaker 1: I've heard people say that they can't move in their dreams,
- 8:11Speaker 1: or they can't move and they wake up and they
- 8:13Speaker 1: can't move, but I've never had that happen before. It
- 8:14Speaker 1: was just weird.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's happened to me a couple of times. And
- 8:18Speaker 2: I remember the reasons for all that is because back
- 8:22Speaker 2: then I was in a stressful relationship. You know, we
- 8:24Speaker 2: was always punching each other in our sheep supposedly really Yeah,
- 8:29Speaker 2: it was crazy because we go to bed mad and
- 8:31Speaker 2: then we just like we'd forget about everything, but in
- 8:34Speaker 2: our minds we were still mad. So we I feel
- 8:37Speaker 2: myself moving and jumping, jerking, getting choked and punched.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Yeah, Ray, Rob, you Raider fans even fight in your sleep.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I'm chelling. You don't fight everybody, it's not from access.
- 8:51Speaker 1: That's awesome. Had this crazy dream where like I was
- 8:55Speaker 1: being held down and I was trying to scream for help.
- 8:59Speaker 1: But I wasn't like kind of fear. It wasn't. It
- 9:01Speaker 1: was just help, right, And it says coming out as helper,
- 9:04Speaker 1: like huh huh. And but I could hear myself saying
- 9:08Speaker 1: it in the dream, but then it felt like I
- 9:10Speaker 1: was hearing it in reality, that makes any sense. And
- 9:14Speaker 1: then I just woke up because I thought that was
- 9:16Speaker 1: weird already four two, five, four or seven and seven?
- 9:18Speaker 1: What's going on? Yeah, what's up, guy?
- 9:22Speaker 9: I was telling you regards to your dreams.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, what's going on?
- 9:26Speaker 9: So I was remembering that, Like, so a couple of
- 9:29Speaker 9: years ago, lucaid, like ten years ago with me and
- 9:31Speaker 9: my husband first you know, were together and we have
- 9:34Speaker 9: moved in together. He would have those dreams a.
- 9:37Speaker 10: Lot where like he will talk about that he couldn't
- 9:39Speaker 10: like wake up, that he was like not moving.
- 9:42Speaker 9: And it would happen all the time. And I remember
- 9:45Speaker 9: taking a course on like the state of mind and
- 9:48Speaker 9: like the subconscious and stuff like that, okay, and it
- 9:51Speaker 9: talks about like when you're about to sleep, there's like
- 9:54Speaker 9: different stages of how your like body and mind like
- 9:57Speaker 9: shut off and stuffy, and it talks about like that
- 10:00Speaker 9: when you're like when you're having all the stressful days,
- 10:02Speaker 9: so there's like a lot going on. Your body is
- 10:05Speaker 9: like physically tired, and but your mind is still going.
- 10:09Speaker 10: So at some point when you're about to sleep, your
- 10:12Speaker 10: body's out, but your mind is still going. So like
- 10:15Speaker 10: we're like reality and like what's not real kind of
- 10:18Speaker 10: get like into like you know they make and that's
- 10:22Speaker 10: how people.
- 10:23Speaker 9: Start getting those dreams. When my husband was having those dreams,
- 10:27Speaker 9: he were he was working like a warehouse, did you
- 10:29Speaker 9: know where. He was sad and he was always tired.
- 10:32Speaker 9: So when he came home he would like knock out,
- 10:35Speaker 9: but he would like his mind was so going because
- 10:37Speaker 9: he had so much like things to do. And then
- 10:39Speaker 9: the next day, and so I think I think that's
- 10:42Speaker 9: what's going on. Like there's probably you know, like things
- 10:45Speaker 9: going on the mind and then the body.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Just like you know what, I'm just out, gotcha, that
- 10:50Speaker 1: would make some sense. I was exhausted that also, so
- 10:53Speaker 1: maybe you're right. You might be right about that. All right, Hey,
- 10:55Speaker 1: thanks for calling.
- 10:57Speaker 9: Okay, we'll have a good day too.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I mean I was exhausted. Hey, Rome, sounds like you
- 11:02Speaker 1: were getting a long time A long time come and
- 11:04Speaker 1: ask whooping from your grandparents. No, my grandparents would have
- 11:10Speaker 1: never whooped my ass. I was the best grandchild ever.
- 11:13Speaker 1: They loved me to death. And when did you ask me?
- 11:16Speaker 1: Or someone just text me a question? Good Bard to Romeo.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I have a question. My girl and I've been together
- 11:21Speaker 1: for thirteen years with kids, but not married yet. We're
- 11:24Speaker 1: happy together, but people tell us we should not get
- 11:29Speaker 1: married because it's bad luck. What's your thought on that.
- 11:35Speaker 4: My thought on.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Marriage has always been the same. I think marriage is great.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I don't think there's anything wrong with marriage. I think
- 11:43Speaker 1: there are people out there that want to be married.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I think there are people out there that are miserable people,
- 11:49Speaker 1: and instead of blaming themselves and their own attitudes, they
- 11:51Speaker 1: blame marriage because it failed. But no, I think I
- 11:56Speaker 1: think marriage is the ultimate way to show somebody that
- 12:01Speaker 1: you want to be with them. I don't think you
- 12:03Speaker 1: can go any further than marriage. Because you've committed, you
- 12:07Speaker 1: put it on paper, you go through a ceremony, you
- 12:10Speaker 1: do all of these things. That is the last step
- 12:13Speaker 1: to showing somebody how much you really care and want
- 12:17Speaker 1: to be with them. Okay, So I think anybody that
- 12:21Speaker 1: says marriage sucks or is bad luck, it's they're just
- 12:26Speaker 1: blaming marriage for their own inadequacies when it comes to relationships.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Already four two to five four or seven, that's seven.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Somebody texted me this a few minutes ago. Hey, good morning,
- 12:37Speaker 1: rome I have a question. My girl and I've been
- 12:39Speaker 1: together for thirteen years with kids, but not married. Yet
- 12:42Speaker 1: we are happy together. People tell us we should not
- 12:44Speaker 1: get married because it's bad luck. With your thoughts on that,
- 12:48Speaker 1: first of all, I want to say I told you.
- 12:50Speaker 1: My thoughts are. I think marriage there is not the
- 12:51Speaker 1: wrong marriage. I think marriage shows an ultimate commitment to someone.
- 12:55Speaker 1: And then you can't go any further. You're offering up
- 12:57Speaker 1: well half your stuff for the most part, especially if
- 13:00Speaker 1: you get married in California. You're willing to give up
- 13:02Speaker 1: half your stuff for this person, right, So how do
- 13:08Speaker 1: you commit anymore? Already four two five four seven seven?
- 13:15Speaker 1: Who are the people, by the way, that are telling
- 13:17Speaker 1: you that marriage is bad luck? What are what's their
- 13:21Speaker 1: relationship status? The people that are telling you you guys
- 13:24Speaker 1: shouldn't get married, what is their relationship status? Text me that? Okay?
- 13:29Speaker 1: Already four two five four seven seven eight Romeo for
- 13:32Speaker 1: the guy talking about marriage, Marriage is just a piece
- 13:36Speaker 1: of paper. You're completely wrong about it. No, I'm not
- 13:41Speaker 1: completely wrong about it. I'm completely right about it. You
- 13:44Speaker 1: could love somebody, you can move in with somebody, you
- 13:47Speaker 1: could have kids with somebody, you could share bills with somebody.
- 13:51Speaker 1: You can think of all the things you can do
- 13:53Speaker 1: with somebody. The ultimate commitment is marrying somebody, putting it
- 13:58Speaker 1: down in paper, doing it in front of your friends
- 14:03Speaker 1: and family, putting rings on each other's fingers, or however.
- 14:06Speaker 1: You you know, that's you can't commit anymore. So I've
- 14:12Speaker 1: always said this marriage is the ultimate commitment. And if
- 14:18Speaker 1: you for those of you that think marriage is wrong
- 14:20Speaker 1: or bad luck or just a piece of paper, you idiots,
- 14:23Speaker 1: are you know, just trying to blame the sanctity of
- 14:27Speaker 1: marriage for your bad relationships? Hey, wrong question about marriage?
- 14:34Speaker 1: I had for let's see, I had to file for
- 14:37Speaker 1: bankruptcy about six years ago. If we get married, will
- 14:40Speaker 1: that reflect on her as far as credit goes? No,
- 14:43Speaker 1: I don't know when I became an expert on marriage
- 14:45Speaker 1: and credit, but I don't think it does. No, No,
- 14:49Speaker 1: I don't think it does already. Four two five, four
- 14:53Speaker 1: seven seven. Yeah. Do you guys that think marriage is bad?
- 14:58Speaker 1: Marriage is just a piece of paper. Marriages bad luck.
- 15:00Speaker 1: You guys really need to get therapy and work on
- 15:02Speaker 1: yourselves to be in better relationships. So a guy was
- 15:05Speaker 1: asking me. Him and his girl have been together for
- 15:07Speaker 1: thirteen years. Right, they have a couple of kids together.
- 15:09Speaker 1: They're not married, but people are telling him they shouldn't
- 15:11Speaker 1: get married because whoever these people are are telling him
- 15:14Speaker 1: they shouldn't get married because it's bad luck. And I
- 15:16Speaker 1: think that that's horrible advice, horrible advice. I think marriage
- 15:21Speaker 1: is great. If you want to, you're going to commit
- 15:23Speaker 1: to somebody, and that's the ultimate commitment. It just there's
- 15:27Speaker 1: nothing more you can do. And then somebody asked me
- 15:29Speaker 1: about tax purposes. I guess some guy fall bankruptcy if
- 15:32Speaker 1: he gets married. Does that affect his wife? I don't know.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I don't think it will. I don't know. A Rome,
- 15:38Speaker 1: don't get married, it will hurt you when tax season
- 15:42Speaker 1: comes around. How I don't know how that does. But okay, ay, Rom.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I've been with my wife, unmarried, with two kids for
- 15:53Speaker 1: twenty two years. My grandma and step grandpa were together
- 15:57Speaker 1: unmarried for almost fifty years. Love my woman and would
- 16:01Speaker 1: love to finally tie the knot all in due time.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Angel from Tilarry. Yeah, that's not saying that people can't
- 16:10Speaker 1: be together, you know, for however many years twenty two
- 16:15Speaker 1: or fifty not married. I'm just saying that anybody who
- 16:19Speaker 1: says marriage is bad luck or marriage is just a
- 16:23Speaker 1: piece of paper as an idiot. And no marriage shows
- 16:27Speaker 1: that you're ultimately committing to somebody. That's what it shows.
- 16:32Speaker 1: You go up in front of your friends and family,
- 16:34Speaker 1: you sign a piece of paper. You got to give
- 16:36Speaker 1: up half your stuff if it don't work out. Sometimes
- 16:38Speaker 1: you give up more than that, But that just shows
- 16:42Speaker 1: how much you're willing to commit to another person. And
- 16:47Speaker 1: there's nothing wrong with that. Okay, and it's time. I'm
- 16:50Speaker 1: glad Angel wants to tie the knot. But yeah, anybody
- 16:54Speaker 1: who talks bad about marriage is a miserable person to
- 16:58Speaker 1: begin with. And marriage has nothing to do with your
- 17:01Speaker 1: life being terrible. Okay. The sanctity or institution of marriage
- 17:06Speaker 1: had nothing to do with your failed marriage. It had
- 17:10Speaker 1: everything to do with you. And if you can't see that,
- 17:14Speaker 1: you're an idiot. You're probably not in a great relationship now.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Already four to VORs seven to seven. All right, we're
- 17:22Speaker 1: talking about marriage. A little bit, and the fact that
- 17:24Speaker 1: some guys said, he's been with this girl for thirteen years,
- 17:27Speaker 1: a couple of kids, or they have kids. People are
- 17:29Speaker 1: telling them they shouldn't get married. It's bad luck, which
- 17:32Speaker 1: is just bad advice. Really is just bad advice. There's
- 17:35Speaker 1: nothing wrong with marriage a rom At twenty one, a
- 17:38Speaker 1: lot of friends told us. Let's see, a lot of
- 17:41Speaker 1: friends told us not to get married. H whit is
- 17:44Speaker 1: this a different scenario? Okay? Hold on. At twenty one,
- 17:48Speaker 1: a lot of friends told us not to get married
- 17:50Speaker 1: because we were too young and still in college. But
- 17:52Speaker 1: now those friends are divorced. We're a multiple baby daddies
- 17:55Speaker 1: while my husband and I fourteen years, no kids, making
- 17:57Speaker 1: good money, traveling and part arding together. So glad we
- 18:01Speaker 1: didn't listen to anyone. You should never listen to any
- 18:03Speaker 1: anyone that says this is bottom line. Anyone that ever
- 18:08Speaker 1: says marriage is bad is a miserable person and horrible
- 18:14Speaker 1: at relationships. Okay, marriage is not bad, especially if you
- 18:17Speaker 1: find the right person to be married to. Okay, is
- 18:20Speaker 1: nothing wrong with marriage at all. It's just these people
- 18:24Speaker 1: who don't know how to be in relationships and always
- 18:27Speaker 1: screw them up. They have to blame somebody because they're
- 18:30Speaker 1: not gonna blame themselves, right, I mean, how many people
- 18:33Speaker 1: do you know walk around and go, you know what,
- 18:35Speaker 1: my marriage was so messed up and it was all
- 18:39Speaker 1: my fault. All I did was this, this and this. No,
- 18:42Speaker 1: it's the idea of marriage. Once you sign that paper,
- 18:45Speaker 1: it's oh it's over with. Yeah, No, that's not true.
- 18:48Speaker 1: ALRIGHTY four two five four seven seven. Good morning, Romeo.
- 18:53Speaker 1: It's Paulina. Hey, Pauline is back. How was your weekend?
- 18:55Speaker 1: Mine was good. Paulina, I'm about this marriage thing.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Come.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I mean from a woman, a marriage only benefits a woman,
- 19:02Speaker 1: not men, because that women can wake up one day
- 19:06Speaker 1: and just leave. Living here in California, you already know
- 19:10Speaker 1: that women take advantage of that. Besides, what can a
- 19:13Speaker 1: man get from a marriage he can't can't get from
- 19:17Speaker 1: just having a girlfriend. I'm not saying not getting married,
- 19:21Speaker 1: but married without married, without including the state. Because a
- 19:26Speaker 1: man has everything to lose in a marriage. He lives
- 19:30Speaker 1: his livelihood, kids, money, assets. Yeah, you're right about that,
- 19:34Speaker 1: but that's why I say. That's why I say, Paulina,
- 19:37Speaker 1: that marriage is the ultimate commitment because if you're willing
- 19:40Speaker 1: to put all that stuff on the line for somebody.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You can't commit to somebody any more than that. So
- 19:47Speaker 1: that's why I say when people say marriage is, you
- 19:51Speaker 1: know what marriage is. Marriage is the ultimate commitment. But
- 19:54Speaker 1: she is right about that other stuff. The guy sent
- 19:56Speaker 1: me a text Messa that he's been with this girl
- 19:58Speaker 1: for thirteen years with kids. They're not married, but people
- 20:01Speaker 1: keep telling them they shouldn't get married because it's bad luck.
- 20:04Speaker 1: It's not bad luck. Those people don't know what they're
- 20:06Speaker 1: talking about. Are only four two five, four seven to seven? Good?
- 20:10Speaker 1: What's going on? What's going on?
- 20:15Speaker 4: Man? And man?
- 20:17Speaker 6: All that talking about med man?
- 20:19Speaker 8: You know, I just wanted to say so, man.
- 20:21Speaker 7: You know I've been with my jil closer like about
- 20:25Speaker 7: eight years.
- 20:25Speaker 8: Man, And and then you just say this, man. I
- 20:29Speaker 8: know one day I'm gonna get mad man, But.
- 20:32Speaker 6: It's gonna be when the rock woman comes along.
- 20:37Speaker 3: You know I been here eight years.
- 20:39Speaker 5: Man, It ain't man happening.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Alright? Hey, four two five, four seven to seven. Oh,
- 20:54Speaker 1: this is the guy. He texted me again about the
- 20:56Speaker 1: third This guy started this thing thirteen years together, kids
- 20:58Speaker 1: not married. People are telling them marriage bad luck. He says,
- 21:02Speaker 1: My two friends and brother in law. Oh my two friends. Oh,
- 21:05Speaker 1: I asked him. Who told him it was bad luck
- 21:07Speaker 1: his two friends brother in law because they told me
- 21:11Speaker 1: that they were happy before marriage, now they're now they divorced. Well, there,
- 21:19Speaker 1: that relationship would have ended whether they got married or not.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I'm just gonna let you know that, Okay. Anybody that
- 21:28Speaker 1: gets married and gets divorced and blames a marriage, it
- 21:31Speaker 1: was gonna it was gonna happen anyways. Marriage is not
- 21:35Speaker 1: the reason your relationship ended. You're just using that as
- 21:39Speaker 1: an excuse because you don't know how to be in
- 21:43Speaker 1: a good relationship already. Fourteen five four seven to seven.
- 21:48Speaker 1: And if you're gonna listen to these clowns, I feel
- 21:51Speaker 1: bad for you because, well, I mean, and I'm not
- 21:54Speaker 1: saying you have to get married. I guess I shouldn't
- 21:56Speaker 1: say that. I'm not saying you have to get married.
- 21:58Speaker 1: All I'm saying is marriage is the ultimate commitment to someone.
- 22:04Speaker 1: If you want to put a fine point a period
- 22:06Speaker 1: at the end of a relationship, get married, okay. And
- 22:11Speaker 1: if it falls apart, your relationship was gonna fall apart anyways.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Marriage had nothing to do with it, all right. So
- 22:17Speaker 1: a guy did text, and he was talking about how
- 22:20Speaker 1: he's been with his lady for a while, a couple
- 22:22Speaker 1: of kids, and everybody tells him not to get married.
- 22:25Speaker 1: It's bad luck and you're just wrong. Marriage is not
- 22:29Speaker 1: bad luck, Okay, it really is. The marriage is just well,
- 22:36Speaker 1: let me get to this text. Hold on a second, hey,
- 22:38Speaker 1: rom Marriage is completely pointless. It doesn't benefit a guy
- 22:42Speaker 1: in any way, doesn't prove anything other than proof that
- 22:46Speaker 1: she's your property. Marriage is for possessive weirdos. Um No,
- 22:53Speaker 1: it's not. Marriage is the last thing that you can
- 22:58Speaker 1: do as a per to show somebody you're gonna make
- 23:03Speaker 1: the ultimate sacrifice for them. It's not possession. What kind
- 23:08Speaker 1: of idiot are you? I mean, anybody that has anything
- 23:12Speaker 1: negative to say about marriage is just jaded because either
- 23:17Speaker 1: nobody wants to marry them or their marriage didn't work
- 23:20Speaker 1: out because they chose the wrong person. I mean, it happens. Okay,
- 23:24Speaker 1: so you get jaded and then you tell everybody else
- 23:26Speaker 1: how you should never get married now and I don't
- 23:31Speaker 1: care if you get married or not. All I'm saying
- 23:33Speaker 1: is for someone to say marriage is bad luck or
- 23:37Speaker 1: marriage is pointless, that's just stupid. It's a commitment. It
- 23:42Speaker 1: shows you're committed to somebody on a level where you
- 23:46Speaker 1: have some skin in the game. You could sit there
- 23:49Speaker 1: and say, Romeo, well if you you could just stay
- 23:53Speaker 1: with somebody forever and that shows that you love them. Yeah,
- 23:56Speaker 1: but it does. But marriage shows that you actually have
- 24:01Speaker 1: skin in the game, that you've actually put something up
- 24:04Speaker 1: and you've committed to somebody the ultimate commitment to them.
- 24:09Speaker 1: That's all Marriage is, okay, and some people want that,
- 24:14Speaker 1: some people don't. But for anyone to tell you that
- 24:17Speaker 1: it's pointless or it's bad luck, or don't ever do it,
- 24:20Speaker 1: it's just a piece of paper. Those are all people
- 24:24Speaker 1: that nobody wanted to marry you. Or you've gone through
- 24:27Speaker 1: a bad marriage with the wrong person. But you can
- 24:30Speaker 1: also go through a bad relationship with the wrong person.
- 24:32Speaker 1: How come And then you hear the people saying that, right,
- 24:36Speaker 1: how many people do you go, I'll never you know,
- 24:39Speaker 1: women sucker, men are terrible and blah blah blah. Yeah,
- 24:41Speaker 1: you're mad because you've gone through bad relationships and you
- 24:45Speaker 1: haven't found the right person for you. So stop blaming
- 24:48Speaker 1: the relationship, Stop blaming the institution of marriage for your downfalls,
- 24:53Speaker 1: for your mistakes. Already fourteen to five four or is
- 24:57Speaker 1: seven to seven.
- 25:00Speaker 7: It's a beautiful thing if you marry the right person.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Okay, okay, you know, I don't.
- 25:05Speaker 5: Have no problem against marriage. And like you said, all
- 25:08Speaker 5: those people that are saying it's bad luck, they've just
- 25:11Speaker 5: been in toxic relationships. They haven't met somebody that they
- 25:14Speaker 5: can't live without.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Well, once you meet that person, okay, it.
- 25:18Speaker 5: Changes your perspective on everything.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Sure, I would agree with that.
- 25:23Speaker 5: I'm gonna that that's ready. Days came put on this.
- 25:27Speaker 5: You know, it's not a bad thing, not for everybody,
- 25:31Speaker 5: but once you find it, it's like.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Well, relationships aren't for everybody either, if you're going to
- 25:36Speaker 1: look at that perspective. Also, a bad relationship is a
- 25:39Speaker 1: bad relationship just because you're you know, people still getting
- 25:42Speaker 1: bad relationships.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, you got to be shuttled down and
- 25:46Speaker 5: you got to be ready to give up a lot
- 25:47Speaker 5: and sacrifice a lot. But it's good, it's worth it.
- 25:52Speaker 1: See now I'm going to have to disagree with you
- 25:54Speaker 1: there too, just on that point. You don't have to
- 25:57Speaker 1: give up a lot when you get married. If you're
- 25:58Speaker 1: with the right person and they you don't give up.
- 26:00Speaker 5: Anything marriage is about sacrifices. You know, you're gonna have
- 26:04Speaker 5: to give up those late night you know, drinking banjaes.
- 26:08Speaker 5: You're gonna have to give up those weekend vacation with
- 26:12Speaker 5: the guys. There's just things that you're gonna have to
- 26:14Speaker 5: give up.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, you really don't though. I mean, and that's
- 26:21Speaker 1: the thing about marriage. You want to blame marriage for
- 26:24Speaker 1: your relationship not working out, when the reality is it's you.
- 26:28Speaker 1: You're the reason your relationship didn't work out. It wasn't marriage,
- 26:32Speaker 1: it wasn't moving in together, it wasn't being exclusive to
- 26:36Speaker 1: each other. If your relationship doesn't work out, it's on you,
- 26:41Speaker 1: not on whatever phase of the relationship you're in. You
- 26:47Speaker 1: don't blame You don't blame that. You don't just take
- 26:52Speaker 1: responsibility for your own bad relationships.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Hey, it was good morning, Romeo.
- 26:56Speaker 3: How's it going.
- 26:57Speaker 1: It's good. That's up.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Damn man. You want to call it and see that
- 27:01Speaker 3: those idiots are calling and said that marriage is not important. Yeah, hey,
- 27:07Speaker 3: look I've been married for twenty one years. I got
- 27:11Speaker 3: married at eighteen years old, took my wife out of
- 27:13Speaker 3: the school and we went to bank yourself to get
- 27:14Speaker 3: married for a hundred bucks. We didn't have the money.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Afterwards when we did our honeymoon, or we could call
- 27:23Speaker 3: it our honeymoon, we want to tuckle ball, and we
- 27:25Speaker 3: got a we got the family back. We didn't we
- 27:31Speaker 3: didn't have our marriage that I wanted to like, we
- 27:33Speaker 3: didn't have the money.
- 27:34Speaker 2: We're dumb and young.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Right now, I'm driving my fifty year old of school
- 27:37Speaker 3: and we're hearing you.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Marriage is not just a paper, but does it.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Does affect you in when you do a Texas and
- 27:44Speaker 3: will tear you up. Apart from that, you have whatever
- 27:51Speaker 3: you want, you have a woman.
- 27:52Speaker 2: You get fat.
- 27:53Speaker 3: We were early and get married.
- 27:56Speaker 7: So I've been married for twenty one years.
- 27:58Speaker 5: Man for God bless every.
- 28:00Speaker 1: That's great, that's great, all right, thanks, I'm a good
- 28:07Speaker 1: one hundred bucks and we went to Taco bell all
- 28:11Speaker 1: right before or seven and seven? Hey, Rome, if your
- 28:17Speaker 1: basic marriage off of money and tax issues, you've got
- 28:20Speaker 1: a problem. They've proven in each they've they've proven in
- 28:27Speaker 1: each other for thirteen years that they love each other
- 28:30Speaker 1: and if something was to happen to the other, she
- 28:34Speaker 1: or he will not have a right to their state
- 28:37Speaker 1: or their social security anything that they have. And if
- 28:41Speaker 1: they have an inheritance, the state will have the right
- 28:44Speaker 1: to your property. Oh very I guess you're right. There
- 28:49Speaker 1: are some positive implications as it can as it pertains
- 28:52Speaker 1: the money and marriage. I will tell you a crazy story.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I know a couple that they ever really wanted to
- 29:00Speaker 1: get married or like, they wouldn't hurry to get married.
- 29:03Speaker 1: They just together forever. Right, He had some medical issues
- 29:08Speaker 1: in the hospital. She tried to go back and see him,
- 29:10Speaker 1: couldn't go see him. Guess what, they got married a
- 29:14Speaker 1: month later. I mean, there are some little things about
- 29:17Speaker 1: marriage if you look at it like that, like this
- 29:19Speaker 1: person just said. But I'm just saying. Anybody who says
- 29:23Speaker 1: marriage is negative has a negative attitude towards marriage. Either
- 29:28Speaker 1: nobody's ever wanted to marry you, or you've gone through
- 29:30Speaker 1: a bad marriage. But that's not marriage's fault. Your bad
- 29:34Speaker 1: relationships are your own fault, Okay, not the institution of marriage.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Yeah, thirteen years you should have been married already. Sure
- 29:44Speaker 5: you got a thirteen year old too.
- 29:46Speaker 6: I mean, your children really appreciate you growing up, you know,
- 29:50Speaker 6: putting a ring on your wife and you know, having
- 29:54Speaker 6: a mom and dad they could count on.
- 29:56Speaker 7: Never beat that.
- 29:57Speaker 1: That's never that's the one thing. You're right, that's one
- 30:00Speaker 1: thing that people don't think about them what it shows
- 30:03Speaker 1: to their children.
- 30:04Speaker 6: Yeah, well, it's just like it's just about most people
- 30:09Speaker 6: right now. It's about their world, not they don't even
- 30:12Speaker 6: think about their children. There's there's girls having kids because
- 30:15Speaker 6: they're lonely. I mean, I'm like, what, Yeah, they don't
- 30:21Speaker 6: even know the dad. They're just like I was lonely, and.
- 30:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I want I'm just like I work with these
- 30:30Speaker 5: kids that they're like.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Oh my god, I had never heard that before.
- 30:35Speaker 6: And they don't have no clue about you know, because
- 30:38Speaker 6: I was raising a broken home, so they don't know
- 30:41Speaker 6: like the damage they're going to go through, like, yeah,
- 30:45Speaker 6: what's my dad? Who's my dad?
- 30:47Speaker 5: Where is he at?
- 30:48Speaker 4: What?
- 30:49Speaker 5: You know?
- 30:49Speaker 6: And then there the mom's gonna usually just say bad things.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Yeah it's yeah, thirteen years Broyeh.
- 30:59Speaker 5: It's time to get there. Put a ring on that
- 31:02Speaker 5: poor girl.
- 31:07Speaker 1: You're not wrong. There's a lot. Marriage is a lot
- 31:10Speaker 1: more than there's a piece of paper. And there are
- 31:12Speaker 1: some negative aspects of marriage, absolutely, but there's more positive
- 31:17Speaker 1: than negative. And what it ultimately comes down to is
- 31:20Speaker 1: you have you'll have no negative if you choose the
- 31:22Speaker 1: right person to marry. So if you make a bad decision,
- 31:25Speaker 1: of course you're gonna have a Your marriage isn't gonna
- 31:27Speaker 1: work out. Oh, this is a person who said marriage
- 31:30Speaker 1: is pointless. Any man that puts all it puts it
- 31:33Speaker 1: all on the line for the ultimate commitment is an idiot.
- 31:36Speaker 1: And you know it's true. That's why you won't read
- 31:39Speaker 1: my text on the air. I just read your text
- 31:41Speaker 1: on the air, and I called you a moron for
- 31:43Speaker 1: saying that marriage is completely pointless. So what are you
- 31:46Speaker 1: talking about. You're the moron here. I mean, you're the idiot.
- 31:51Speaker 1: You're the one that sounds like a dumbass. You sound
- 31:53Speaker 1: like you sound like nobody wants you. That's what you
- 31:55Speaker 1: sound like. If somebody wants you, then and yeah, they'll
- 32:02Speaker 1: marry you. If you're so jaded by marriage, why are
- 32:07Speaker 1: you that jaded? That's the point now already four two
- 32:12Speaker 1: five four seven to seven Rome. Marriage isn't bad luck,
- 32:16Speaker 1: but marrying someone from Bakersfield is. If you want a
- 32:19Speaker 1: good partner, then hasn't been passed around town. Look somewhere
- 32:23Speaker 1: else nice. Sure, I'm sure the women of Bakersfield they're
- 32:29Speaker 1: gonna love that comment already four two, five, four or
- 32:32Speaker 1: seven to seven your rome Hey, you're right. Marriage is
- 32:35Speaker 1: not just a piece of paper. It's an entrapment. I
- 32:39Speaker 1: oughta know. I've been married for twenty seven years. Oh
- 32:42Speaker 1: and by the way, I have not been divorced. But
- 32:44Speaker 1: when she does threaten you with it, she gonna take
- 32:48Speaker 1: you for more than half. There's a word called alimony.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I said up before, and I'll say it again. Get
- 32:57Speaker 1: get you a little bow. Wow, it's all you need. Okay,
- 33:05Speaker 1: I don't know about that. Marriage is not the reason. Okay,
- 33:13Speaker 1: it's you married the wrong person. Okay, you stop blaming
- 33:16Speaker 1: marriage for your faults in choosing who you're gonna get with. Okay,
- 33:21Speaker 1: take some accountability. Already four teobot four or seven to
- 33:24Speaker 1: seven year rome Romeo. Marriage is beautiful? But how but
- 33:28Speaker 1: how it has? It's good? It has it's bad. I
- 33:32Speaker 1: only think that anything that changes when you're dating. Sex
- 33:37Speaker 1: is there all the time. As time goes it dies out.
- 33:40Speaker 1: But most likely because now there's kids involved, mortgages, et cetera.
- 33:46Speaker 1: But that's what I'm saying you, whether you get married
- 33:49Speaker 1: or not, you know, sex is gonna die down. Marriage
- 33:54Speaker 1: is not the reason you don't have sex every night.
- 33:57Speaker 1: There's a lot of other reasons. So take some accounity.
- 34:00Speaker 1: You guys got to start taking accountability for your relationships.
- 34:04Speaker 1: I mean, let's really be honest about it. How many
- 34:08Speaker 1: how many of you can honestly say you had no
- 34:12Speaker 1: idea who that person was that you married, you knew?
- 34:18Speaker 1: I mean, I think I think there's a very small
- 34:20Speaker 1: percentage of people that can go, you know, the person
- 34:26Speaker 1: I married is not who I thought they were. You know,
- 34:32Speaker 1: you're just blinded by whatever you're blinded by. You know,
- 34:35Speaker 1: you're blinded by love, You're blinded by the newness, you're
- 34:38Speaker 1: blinded by I mean, we all get blinded by stupidity
- 34:41Speaker 1: when we meet somebody new and it's exciting and it's fresh,
- 34:44Speaker 1: and it's all that, and then a few years down
- 34:46Speaker 1: the road or ten years down the road, it's not
- 34:48Speaker 1: what you thought it was going to be, or it's
- 34:50Speaker 1: not the same as it was. You knew. You know
- 34:53Speaker 1: who you're marrying, you know who you're dating. You know,
- 34:58Speaker 1: I think most people are they just blame the fact
- 35:03Speaker 1: that they just because it doesn't work out, they can't
- 35:06Speaker 1: take accountability for their actions, so they just blame the
- 35:08Speaker 1: other person and say it's all their fault. But you
- 35:11Speaker 1: have to take some accountability, I believe, for who you're dating.
- 35:17Speaker 1: If you don't know who they are, then yeah, you're
- 35:22Speaker 1: not paying attention. I believe. I don't believe there are
- 35:25Speaker 1: a lot of people that wake up one day and realize,
- 35:30Speaker 1: you know, they're married to an ex murderer. What was that?
- 35:34Speaker 1: There was some isn't there some show going around or
- 35:37Speaker 1: some article going around about some lady who's married to
- 35:40Speaker 1: an exberterer? You know, right? I mean, I just don't
- 35:44Speaker 1: think that. I just I just don't think that the
- 35:49Speaker 1: majority that most people wake up and go, oh my god,
- 35:52Speaker 1: I can't believe that this person was this person this
- 35:55Speaker 1: whole time, whatever that be, whatever that is you know
- 35:58Speaker 1: already four two five, four seven to seven. Hey, Rome,
- 36:02Speaker 1: I was listening to you earlier talking about taking accountability
- 36:05Speaker 1: for your relationship. But how can you do that when
- 36:09Speaker 1: people change? I got into a relationship with a guy
- 36:13Speaker 1: who was a totally different person by the time we
- 36:15Speaker 1: got married. He changed his whole attitude, he changed his
- 36:19Speaker 1: work ethic. It seemed like after we got married he
- 36:22Speaker 1: was just a different person. How am I supposed to
- 36:25Speaker 1: be accountable when I thought I was marrying one person
- 36:28Speaker 1: and he changed. Yeah, I understand what you're saying. I
- 36:33Speaker 1: just don't think that happens as much as you think
- 36:36Speaker 1: it does. You know, you have you know, I think
- 36:40Speaker 1: you just know people are gonna be a certain way,
- 36:44Speaker 1: and when you look at it in retrospect, you go, oh,
- 36:48Speaker 1: those were the signs. Oh that's why he was like that. Oh,
- 36:52Speaker 1: this is where the red flags were. You just don't
- 36:54Speaker 1: see them because you're not looking for them. You know,
- 36:58Speaker 1: you're going in, you're ready for the real relationship, and
- 37:00Speaker 1: you're not paying attention to some of the negative things
- 37:03Speaker 1: that could happen long term. That's what I mean by that.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I don't mean that you and some of you you
- 37:10Speaker 1: cause the person to change and won't take accountability for that.
- 37:14Speaker 1: But I just don't think you wake up one day
- 37:16Speaker 1: and go, I had no idea this person was like this. Okay.
- 37:23Speaker 1: They tend to have, you know, tendencies throughout the relationship.
- 37:28Speaker 1: You just don't pay attention to them. That is partly
- 37:32Speaker 1: on you. You gotta pay attention to who you're gonna
- 37:36Speaker 1: be with and take some accountability for it. Now, of course,
- 37:41Speaker 1: there are some people there are a percentage of you
- 37:44Speaker 1: out there that'll say, Romeo, I never saw those You
- 37:48Speaker 1: married a psychopath and you just never knew because psychopaths
- 37:51Speaker 1: are good at hiding who they really are. Con arners,
- 37:54Speaker 1: they're good or hiding who they really are. But I
- 37:56Speaker 1: just don't think that happens the majority of the time.
- 38:00Speaker 1: I think it's a small percentage. This is funny. This
- 38:06Speaker 1: cracks me up because I love this place. I don't know,
- 38:08Speaker 1: I don't know who this guy is, but uh, raider
- 38:11Speaker 1: Rob sent me something, and you have to tell me
- 38:14Speaker 1: who this guy is.
- 38:15Speaker 8: You know.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I guess you guys know touris catering, right, it was
- 38:18Speaker 1: that I've been telling you about tourist catering and the
- 38:20Speaker 1: best chiliverde in town for twenty plus years, if not longer, Yeah,
- 38:25Speaker 1: twenty plus years. First they're at home Depot. Now they're
- 38:28Speaker 1: out in front of Loose and I'm getting they're getting
- 38:30Speaker 1: a lot of publicity. I guess now because people are
- 38:33Speaker 1: going there. These influencers that are on these youtubes and
- 38:37Speaker 1: and and reels are are doing are going out there,
- 38:43Speaker 1: and they're getting a lot of getting a lot of
- 38:45Speaker 1: a lot of a lot of customers they're getting a
- 38:48Speaker 1: lot of publicity, which is great because they've been great forever.
- 38:52Speaker 1: They're never just think it's funny. Oh and this is
- 38:56Speaker 1: You're not the first one Rader Rob that send me something,
- 38:59Speaker 1: but people have been sending me these things saying, well,
- 39:01Speaker 1: Taurus Case, I said, yeah, I've been telling you got
- 39:03Speaker 1: it for over twenty years. I've been telling you guys
- 39:04Speaker 1: to go there. It's hilarious, but it's great.
- 39:07Speaker 5: They're great Romo.
- 39:08Speaker 7: I used to go up there and see him in
- 39:10Speaker 7: front of the home people on Goesdale, Yeah where he
- 39:13Speaker 7: used to be. Yeah, real good breakfast burritos. And for
- 39:17Speaker 7: a long time I've been trying to get him to
- 39:19Speaker 7: give me his recipe, come on to share it with me,
- 39:25Speaker 7: And Nope, Nope, you won't do it because everybody has
- 39:27Speaker 7: that one dish that they could throw down on and
- 39:30Speaker 7: they probably tell themselves.
- 39:32Speaker 5: I could tell this, people would buy this.
- 39:35Speaker 1: You know there are Yeah, you're right. He does have
- 39:39Speaker 1: the best chili verde in town. And now apparently he
- 39:42Speaker 1: puts it in a potato and everybody loves it. And now.
- 39:47Speaker 7: For the I didn't care for the baked potato, but
- 39:49Speaker 7: I do like the breakfast burritos, the chili verde. There's
- 39:51Speaker 7: something about it. He has it down to the tea
- 39:54Speaker 7: where you know, it doesn't get no better than that,
- 39:56Speaker 7: So I agree.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Yeah, he told me he's going to put the recipe
- 39:58Speaker 1: on his headstone when he died.
- 40:00Speaker 5: I'm trying to trying to get it from Just write
- 40:05Speaker 5: it down from me, and you won't do it.
- 40:06Speaker 1: That's funny. Get out of here there. Yeah, it's funny
- 40:10Speaker 1: because you guys have been sending me a lot of videos.
- 40:12Speaker 1: I guess there's influencers who on YouTube and out on
- 40:16Speaker 1: reels or TikTok or whatever they're they're going to tourist catering.
- 40:19Speaker 1: So tourist catering is getting some good publicity, which I've
- 40:22Speaker 1: been telling you about them for twenty plus years, how
- 40:24Speaker 1: great they are. So good for them though, were a
- 40:28Speaker 1: four five, four seven to seven yo Roam. I saw
- 40:31Speaker 1: the video you're talking about about the catering truck. We
- 40:35Speaker 1: went and tried it out. It was pretty good. Actually,
- 40:37Speaker 1: who do you follow on YouTube? I don't follow anybody
- 40:41Speaker 1: on YouTube, or you know, there's a couple of things
- 40:46Speaker 1: I look at online A couple of uh I do
- 40:50Speaker 1: I don't follow anybody but I do watch a couple
- 40:53Speaker 1: of videos, like I watched these golf videos. I think
- 40:56Speaker 1: there's some uh some of these uh what do they
- 41:00Speaker 1: call them? Content creators or whatever they are that do
- 41:04Speaker 1: golf YouTube golfers, that's what they call them. So I
- 41:07Speaker 1: watch a couple of them because I think they're funny.
- 41:09Speaker 1: And I'm a big golf so I like playing golf,
- 41:12Speaker 1: and I you know, so I'm a big golfer, so
- 41:13Speaker 1: I like watching them. I think I don't follow anybody,
- 41:19Speaker 1: but I do like to see. There's this uh videos
- 41:23Speaker 1: I watch about some dude who found a goat and
- 41:26Speaker 1: now he makes these videos about him and his goat.
- 41:30Speaker 1: There's some lady who has like nine weenie dogs or
- 41:34Speaker 1: ten weenie dogs and a big old, you know, marmaduke
- 41:37Speaker 1: looking dog. I watch those videos because those cracked me up.
- 41:40Speaker 1: But I don't really pay two close attention. I don't
- 41:44Speaker 1: follow anybody, but I don't really I don't know. I
- 41:51Speaker 1: do watch reels, but I don't really watch, you know,
- 41:53Speaker 1: I don't really know on YouTube. I only watched the golfers,
- 41:58Speaker 1: which they cracked me up. Sometimes they look like they're
- 42:00Speaker 1: having a great time. Yeah, I don't know. I've seen
- 42:06Speaker 1: a couple of videos around Bakersfield where some people have
- 42:09Speaker 1: talked bad about some restaurants that are not bad, they're wrong.
- 42:15Speaker 1: So I don't know who to follow them. I don't
- 42:16Speaker 1: know how to It's like anything else, you got to
- 42:18Speaker 1: go try it yourself. So it is what it is. Hey,
- 42:20Speaker 1: go on in Rome, headbutt Raider checking in. You don't
- 42:24Speaker 1: have to talk about this today, but I'm about to
- 42:26Speaker 1: turn forty five. Lately, I can't sleep when I do,
- 42:30Speaker 1: I have absolute I have absolute nightmares. Last night I
- 42:33Speaker 1: felt myself come out of my body. I could see
- 42:36Speaker 1: myself asleep. I only got about three hours of sleep
- 42:39Speaker 1: a night. Been like this for several months. You think
- 42:42Speaker 1: it's my age or something else. It's been sober for
- 42:45Speaker 1: about three months now. Also, uh, probably so probably the soberness.
- 42:50Speaker 1: But no, it's not your age. I mean, it could
- 42:52Speaker 1: be stressed, could be one hundred different things, but now
- 42:55Speaker 1: it's not. I would say it's not your age. Okay,
- 42:58Speaker 1: unless you're stressed out about being forty five. He coming
- 43:01Speaker 1: to Rome. You should watch YouTube videos about golfers breaking
- 43:04Speaker 1: their clubs. It would, uh, it would gonna give you
- 43:08Speaker 1: a better reason to laugh. Last week when you broke yours. Yeah,
- 43:13Speaker 1: I know. I got my club fig by the way,
- 43:15Speaker 1: I got my club fixed, like all one of my deals.
- 43:18Speaker 1: And he just went and took one of the clubs
- 43:20Speaker 1: out of his bag and cut it off and fixed mine.
- 43:23Speaker 1: It was awesome. So we're back in business already. Four
- 43:28Speaker 1: two by four or seven to seven.
- 43:30Speaker 4: Ah.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Back to head butt Rader, No, I don't think. I
- 43:32Speaker 1: think if you got stress, head butt Rader, you got
- 43:35Speaker 1: some stress going on. I mean, you're anxious about something.
- 43:39Speaker 1: There's a lot of reasons why you could have bad
- 43:41Speaker 1: dreams and not sleep. But and depending on what the
- 43:44Speaker 1: dream is actually about, could be the reason your stress.
- 43:49Speaker 1: What'd you say you had a dream about out of
- 43:53Speaker 1: your body? What happens when you have a dream when
- 43:57Speaker 1: you dream that you're out of your body? That is
- 44:01Speaker 1: a very good question. Uh, what happens when you have
- 44:06Speaker 1: a dream that you're out of your body watching yourself sleep?
- 44:11Speaker 1: You know what we do? We go to AI and
- 44:12Speaker 1: see what they say about it. They say, hold on
- 44:16Speaker 1: floating outside your body and watching yourself sleep. Out of
- 44:19Speaker 1: body experience scientifically often stems from sleep paralysis or I
- 44:25Speaker 1: don't even know what that is. Yeah, I don't know
- 44:28Speaker 1: already four two, five, four seven seven, Hey Roam, when
- 44:32Speaker 1: you're talking about food, did you ever go try that
- 44:34Speaker 1: seafood boil out on Taft Highway. I actually did not
- 44:38Speaker 1: go try that one, but I did go to the
- 44:41Speaker 1: one down by what's the Maya Cinema, the one down
- 44:45Speaker 1: there by Maya Maya by the Maya, which was pretty
- 44:49Speaker 1: The food was pretty damn good. Yeah, so that was
- 44:51Speaker 1: a good one. But no, we'll get out. I'll get
- 44:53Speaker 1: out to the one at Tapped. I just I just
- 44:56Speaker 1: didn't get out to that one. I'll get out that,
- 44:58Speaker 1: get out to that one.
- 44:58Speaker 3: Though.
- 44:59Speaker 1: I hear it's great, but I'll check it out.
- 45:01Speaker 5: Bromo, I think headbut Raider, it's all the crack just
- 45:04Speaker 5: leaving the system is.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Maybe okay, I mean.
- 45:09Speaker 5: Three months long enough he's gonna have to wait.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Maybe here.
- 45:13Speaker 5: Well, it ain't got nothing to do with stress.
- 45:16Speaker 1: I don't think no deal.
- 45:17Speaker 5: He's living with somebody, he ain't got no responsibility, and
- 45:20Speaker 5: he's tressing on nothing.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Well, I think he's probably stressed about something. Everybody's stressed
- 45:26Speaker 1: about something, aren't they.
- 45:28Speaker 5: But we got two choices. We can do something about it.
- 45:31Speaker 5: That we could sit around and stress.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Well, some things are gonna stress about regardless, you know,
- 45:37Speaker 1: especially for those of you that have kids, they're gonna
- 45:39Speaker 1: stress you out regardless. There's nothing you can do about that.
- 45:42Speaker 5: Say no the drugs, headbun Raiders, that's all I gotta say.
- 45:45Speaker 1: All right, get out of here already four to seven
- 45:50Speaker 1: seven headbout Raider says he's turning forty five and he
- 45:53Speaker 1: can't sleep. He's only sleeping about three hours a night.
- 45:55Speaker 1: So that's all I sleep. I only sleep about three
- 45:58Speaker 1: to four hours a night. So I don't think there's
- 46:02Speaker 1: anything wrong with it. Headbut Rader, I think you just
- 46:05Speaker 1: it's not your age. You just might be You know
- 46:07Speaker 1: what you got going on? How busy is your house?
- 46:09Speaker 1: You got dogs, you got cats, you got kids, You
- 46:11Speaker 1: got stresses on your mind. Everybody's got stresses, right, probably
- 46:15Speaker 1: just a little stressed about something. This has been going
- 46:17Speaker 1: on for about three months. I've been bad dreams. Right,
- 46:19Speaker 1: you probably got some stress going on. I was gonna
- 46:23Speaker 1: talk a little bit about doing home renovations. You know,
- 46:25Speaker 1: everybody thinks they can do it themselves. You know these
- 46:28Speaker 1: you watch these shows. But it got me to thinking
- 46:31Speaker 1: about some other stuff going on with YouTube and Instagram
- 46:34Speaker 1: and TikTok and the things that you see on there
- 46:37Speaker 1: to do to do it yourself.
- 46:38Speaker 4: Right.
- 46:39Speaker 1: I was watching a couple of shows yesterday on HDTV,
- 46:43Speaker 1: h g TV. Yeah that what was it? A renovation Aloha?
- 46:48Speaker 1: I was watching that or and I was, you know,
- 46:51Speaker 1: you like to see people fix stuff because everybody wants
- 46:54Speaker 1: to do stuff around their house. Yeah, you know, update
- 46:57Speaker 1: things make it look better, and they make it look
- 46:59Speaker 1: so oh easy. I mean you go to TikTok or
- 47:01Speaker 1: you go to Instagram or YouTube, and they make it
- 47:05Speaker 1: look so easy for you, but it's not. He's still
- 47:12Speaker 1: got to have some capabilities of doing it. Like I'm
- 47:16Speaker 1: pretty capable of fixing things. I grew up poor. When
- 47:19Speaker 1: you grow up poor, you you have to learn to
- 47:23Speaker 1: fix things yourself when they break. And so we did,
- 47:27Speaker 1: you know. And one of the things that was funny
- 47:30Speaker 1: was one of my neighbors he was having an issue
- 47:32Speaker 1: with his truck. So I walked over there and I said,
- 47:36Speaker 1: what's going on? Because I was helping him out a
- 47:37Speaker 1: little bit. He just couldn't figure it out, so I
- 47:39Speaker 1: thought it'd help him out. Right, And this is what
- 47:42Speaker 1: made me think of YouTube, is what made me think
- 47:46Speaker 1: not just talking about home renovations is YouTube has ai YouTube?
- 47:55Speaker 1: They've kind of changed the game, or have they? You know?
- 48:00Speaker 1: I one time, I don't know if you guys know
- 48:04Speaker 1: what a stringer is. A stringer for stairs. I redid
- 48:06Speaker 1: my stairs, so I had to make a stringer to
- 48:09Speaker 1: go along the wall. I think it's called a stringer.
- 48:11Speaker 1: I messed it up three times, even watching a YouTube video.
- 48:15Speaker 1: I messed it up three times before I figured out
- 48:17Speaker 1: what I was doing wrong. Right, And they're long boards.
- 48:20Speaker 1: They're sixteen foot boards or whatever they were might have
- 48:23Speaker 1: been ten foot or something boards, right. So, but there's
- 48:29Speaker 1: also been times where I've looked at something how to
- 48:35Speaker 1: cut you know, I had to cut a granite countertop,
- 48:38Speaker 1: had to cut some notches in it, right, because I
- 48:40Speaker 1: redid it some stuff, and I just went to YouTube
- 48:43Speaker 1: showed me how to do it. But they make it
- 48:46Speaker 1: look so easy, and sometimes you mess it up. But
- 48:49Speaker 1: my question, I guess for you guys out there, I
- 48:52Speaker 1: mean you guys that are do that, you plumbers, you
- 48:54Speaker 1: guys that do hvac, you guys that do electrical, you
- 48:58Speaker 1: guys that do work on cars, I mean, there's has
- 49:03Speaker 1: your business changed because of AI. Are you guys you contractors?
- 49:08Speaker 1: You know, one time I fixed I went to YouTube
- 49:14Speaker 1: because my AC wasn't working properly. I went to YouTube.
- 49:18Speaker 1: It showed me there was some exhaust pipe or some
- 49:20Speaker 1: outlet that was probably clogged up, and I unclogged it
- 49:24Speaker 1: started working. Took me twenty minutes to do it. So
- 49:27Speaker 1: I'm just you know, but then again, there's all the
- 49:30Speaker 1: stories of it going wrong. Right you try to fix something,
- 49:33Speaker 1: you guys have tried to you know, I learned a
- 49:38Speaker 1: tile by I followed taking the home depot class. I
- 49:44Speaker 1: didn't learn through YouTube. But now I just wonder, man,
- 49:47Speaker 1: I wonder how much life has changed for people, especially
- 49:51Speaker 1: people that don't businesses, that you can go to YouTube
- 49:55Speaker 1: and figure out how to do it. I just wonder
- 49:58Speaker 1: already four two, five, four seven at seven. So you
- 50:01Speaker 1: ever try to work on something that's where this whole
- 50:03Speaker 1: thing started. You ever try to work on something in
- 50:05Speaker 1: your house and it went wrong. They say that the
- 50:08Speaker 1: one of the biggest causes for fighting and divorce is
- 50:11Speaker 1: home improvements. Oh my god, Seahawk Lou's still talking about
- 50:14Speaker 1: last week. He said, uh, he said, hey, roam this
- 50:17Speaker 1: Seahawk Lou headbutt raider needs to eat like a rack
- 50:20Speaker 1: of ribs if he really wants to go to sleep.
- 50:22Speaker 1: For some reason, when I eat barbecue ribs, always go
- 50:25Speaker 1: to sleep. Uh, tell him to give it a shot.
- 50:28Speaker 1: And then he sent me a video of his ribs.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Let me look at this video real quick and see
- 50:35Speaker 1: if those ribs look good or not. They look overcooked, Yeah,
- 50:40Speaker 1: Seahawk c Lou's ribs looked over cooked all right before two, five, four,
- 50:45Speaker 1: seven to seven. Yeah, they look over cooked. But that's
- 50:47Speaker 1: all right. Hey Romeo, Uh what did it say? Would
- 50:51Speaker 1: you send me here top for seven? Seven?
- 50:55Speaker 4: Hey?
- 50:55Speaker 1: Rome that was your condensation line? Just blow it out
- 50:58Speaker 1: and you're good to go? Good you bro? Oh yeah right,
- 51:02Speaker 1: it's exactly what it was. My condensation line was plugged
- 51:05Speaker 1: up on my But I just went to YouTube and
- 51:08Speaker 1: YouTube showed me exactly how to fix it and what
- 51:11Speaker 1: to look for. But it's I always wonder, man, with
- 51:15Speaker 1: this AI, you know, and with YouTube and Instagram, people,
- 51:20Speaker 1: are I think able to do a lot more of these?
- 51:24Speaker 1: Like I had this condenser? Was it a condenser?
- 51:27Speaker 6: No?
- 51:27Speaker 1: Years ago? I had this Oh what's it going?
- 51:31Speaker 4: What was it?
- 51:32Speaker 1: Let me think about it? I had it with my
- 51:34Speaker 1: a my air conditioner a capacitor, right, they would have
- 51:39Speaker 1: charged me four hundred bucks. I went online. They said
- 51:42Speaker 1: it was a capacitor at three wires and the capacitor
- 51:45Speaker 1: was only eight bucks. And I fixed it myself. I
- 51:47Speaker 1: was just kind of curious about some of the things
- 51:51Speaker 1: at what a rate of rob sam here, Yeah, your
- 51:53Speaker 1: startup capacitor exactly what it was, and it was my
- 51:58Speaker 1: fan wasn't kicking on, so I YouTube did and they
- 52:05Speaker 1: said try to spin it yourself. So I spun up
- 52:07Speaker 1: myself and clicked on and was a capascador, wasn't jumping
- 52:09Speaker 1: the motor and literally three hundred and fifty dollars is
- 52:13Speaker 1: what they wanted to charge me to come just look
- 52:15Speaker 1: at it and see what was that. I called my
- 52:17Speaker 1: buddy went on YouTube and say it says it's this.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Eight bucks was what it cost me, and it was
- 52:22Speaker 1: like three wires or something. I don't even remember how
- 52:24Speaker 1: many wires it was. It was kind of funny though that,
- 52:27Speaker 1: but it does make me wonder with YouTube and with
- 52:32Speaker 1: all these Instagram with AI, especially how many people are
- 52:37Speaker 1: doing things themselves now, you know, and what have you
- 52:41Speaker 1: used it for to fix? Already? Fourteen five four or
- 52:44Speaker 1: seven to seven. Hey, Roam, I have a brother who's
- 52:48Speaker 1: a plumber down south and I needed some I had
- 52:52Speaker 1: some issues underneath the sync. I just video chatted him.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Oh you FaceTime him. You just face time him, and
- 52:58Speaker 1: he helped me fix it exactly. It's incredible the things
- 53:03Speaker 1: that people can do right now. Right It's just it's
- 53:07Speaker 1: it's crazy, man, already fourteen five four seven the seven
- 53:10Speaker 1: life has totally changed from when you got to work
- 53:13Speaker 1: on your house. Maybe you gotta work on a car,
- 53:15Speaker 1: maybe you got to work on something. And it's amazing
- 53:20Speaker 1: what AI does. And you can go to a YouTube
- 53:24Speaker 1: video and see it already four two five four seven
- 53:27Speaker 1: to seven year rom I just want to let you
- 53:30Speaker 1: know I am in the service industry, and you are
- 53:33Speaker 1: right to some extent. But what happens is you still
- 53:36Speaker 1: have to be mechanically inclined to even follow the video.
- 53:41Speaker 1: A lot of these kids today don't know how to
- 53:43Speaker 1: change a light bulb, let alone change a starter. Okay,
- 53:49Speaker 1: I don't even think I could change the starter, to
- 53:51Speaker 1: be honest with you, Hey, rom My garage door opener
- 53:54Speaker 1: went out and had already bought a new one, so
- 53:57Speaker 1: I called for a professional just to install it, and
- 53:59Speaker 1: they were going to charge me for bucks. So I
- 54:02Speaker 1: chat GPT it and I installed it easily. See that's
- 54:06Speaker 1: the thing. I wonder how much business these guys are
- 54:09Speaker 1: losing nowadays because of AI or because of YouTube. That's insane.
- 54:15Speaker 1: The world is changing, especially with AI, right AI. You
- 54:20Speaker 1: can google AI how to fix anything, you can you
- 54:26Speaker 1: can YouTube anything to fix anything, how to build something.
- 54:30Speaker 1: I mean, it's just incredible. Everything you can find nowadays.
- 54:33Speaker 1: You don't have to go actually go out and hire
- 54:35Speaker 1: somebody to do it, which is I wonder if it's changed,
- 54:39Speaker 1: how much that's changed? All right, Hey Roam tell Seahawk Lou,
- 54:45Speaker 1: I'm on a strict star or a strict diet, but
- 54:49Speaker 1: on your subject on YouTube Rome YouTube University. I changed
- 54:53Speaker 1: my starter in a parking lot at the beach after
- 54:55Speaker 1: watching how to do it on YouTube. We were three
- 54:58Speaker 1: hours from home. I didn't want to pay a toe
- 55:01Speaker 1: for that distance and didn't trust LA mechanics, so I
- 55:05Speaker 1: YouTube did and did it myself. I mean, crazy, right,
- 55:10Speaker 1: It's insane the things that you can learn how to
- 55:12Speaker 1: do now that you would actually have to call an
- 55:14Speaker 1: expert for. I don't I don't know how much that's
- 55:19Speaker 1: changing already. Four two five, four or seven to seven.
- 55:22Speaker 1: What do you use YouTube for? What do you use
- 55:23Speaker 1: AI for? When it comes to like a home improvement
- 55:26Speaker 1: or maybe it comes to a to a car or something.
- 55:30Speaker 1: I mean, I fixed a computer app the other day.
- 55:32Speaker 1: It wasn't working here by AI. Hey Rome, I just
- 55:37Speaker 1: came back from Europe for two weeks. Uh oh, from
- 55:41Speaker 1: Europe for two weeks, and I used AI to plan
- 55:45Speaker 1: my entire trip while over there. I used AI to
- 55:49Speaker 1: tell me which subway trains to take. It was very
- 55:52Speaker 1: accurate and made my trip a whole lot easier. It
- 55:56Speaker 1: knew exactly where I was coming from and what hotel
- 56:00Speaker 1: hell I was staying at. I mean, it's kind of wild,
- 56:04Speaker 1: right if you really think about it. AI can literally
- 56:09Speaker 1: fix anything, can tell you what to do. What did
- 56:11Speaker 1: I do the other day? Yes, oh, I was having
- 56:16Speaker 1: problem with my stream my TV and I just stuck
- 56:21Speaker 1: it into AI this is not working and gave me
- 56:24Speaker 1: a step by step instructions on what to do, different
- 56:29Speaker 1: steps to take to fix it. It's it's insane already
- 56:34Speaker 1: four two five, four, seven to seven yo roam. Yeah,
- 56:37Speaker 1: I'm really motivated to work on my truck. That's why
- 56:41Speaker 1: it's still parked. But when someone shows up with money,
- 56:44Speaker 1: I'll jump right in it and get their money. Maybe
- 56:48Speaker 1: I should, uh, but I don't even know what you're
- 56:53Speaker 1: talking about. But yeah, it's insane, right, I mean, I
- 56:58Speaker 1: wonder how much business some of these service industries, some
- 57:01Speaker 1: of these service guys are losing because of AI, or
- 57:04Speaker 1: because of YouTube or because of Netflix. I mean on Netflix,
- 57:07Speaker 1: because of you know, pick your social media where you
- 57:11Speaker 1: can watch how to do something? You know, It's it's insane.
- 57:15Speaker 1: I mean, what do you use it for? What have
- 57:18Speaker 1: you done around the house? What have you Uh? I
- 57:24Speaker 1: used chat to write up my paperwork. I was just
- 57:26Speaker 1: talking to a guy the other day that was telling
- 57:28Speaker 1: me he uses some something to make his emails look
- 57:32Speaker 1: good or something. It's crazy. Yeah, but what do you
- 57:35Speaker 1: use it for? What have you used it for?
- 57:37Speaker 4: Hey?
- 57:37Speaker 1: You have and cheese fan? Did the guy that went
- 57:39Speaker 1: to Europe? Did you go with his AI girlfriend? As
- 57:41Speaker 1: well as coal? Right there? That is straight cold all right?
- 57:48Speaker 1: A foros you bought for seven to seven. It's just
- 57:52Speaker 1: it's a game changer, man. I Mean, everybody's all scared
- 57:55Speaker 1: about AI taking over the world. And you know, but
- 58:00Speaker 1: think about what it's doing right now. You can fix anything.
- 58:05Speaker 1: You can literally whatever is wrong with you if you
- 58:09Speaker 1: can figure out how to type it into AI. It'll
- 58:12Speaker 1: tell you step by step instructions what to check, how
- 58:17Speaker 1: to do it. You know, look at you know, you
- 58:20Speaker 1: know I I you look at some of the things
- 58:23Speaker 1: like tiling, or putting baseboards in, or putting floorine or
- 58:28Speaker 1: crown molding, or all the things that you want to
- 58:30Speaker 1: do to your house, putting in a new sync. I mean,
- 58:33Speaker 1: you can watch a video on how to do it.
- 58:36Speaker 1: It's just life's different, man, it's wild as already four two, five, four,
- 58:43Speaker 1: seven to seven. Your room you had a TV problem?
- 58:48Speaker 1: You could have called me. I can't afford you, Paul.
- 58:51Speaker 1: That's why I had to go AI. AI's free. Let's
- 58:56Speaker 1: see room. Whatuld Paul say? I haven't been losing any
- 59:00Speaker 1: business because of it. People will still need help purchasing
- 59:03Speaker 1: stuff and installing it because AI can't lift the TV
- 59:07Speaker 1: and put it on your wall and they can't run
- 59:10Speaker 1: it in your attic. So we've been okay, Yeah, Paul's
- 59:13Speaker 1: my video. He's a what is it? PS audio? Paul
- 59:17Speaker 1: does video and cameras and all that nonsense. But yeah,
- 59:22Speaker 1: you can't. You're right about that. But I mean, if
- 59:26Speaker 1: you could do it yourself, right, you have the capabilities
- 59:32Speaker 1: of doing it because AI will tell you exactly how
- 59:34Speaker 1: to do it, or YouTube video will tell you exactly
- 59:37Speaker 1: how to do it. It's insanity, you know, roam because
- 59:42Speaker 1: the YouTube. I've already laid concrete on my RV parking,
- 59:46Speaker 1: installed a car lift in my backyard, pulled carpet and
- 59:49Speaker 1: laid tile, painted in my house, built RV gate. I'm
- 59:54Speaker 1: damn near just opening my own business. It ain't easy work,
- 59:58Speaker 1: but it ain't impossible. I agree with you. I learned
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: how to do a lot of things, you know, But
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I learned to do a lot of things before AI.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: You know, all the stuff that you've done, I've done
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: before without AI. But that's because I knew people that
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: did it. But you're right, AI just makes it that
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: much easier. It's crazy. Keep in mind, I did this
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: under fifteen K. The quote for just tying my house
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: was twelve point five alone, twelve fifty square foot home.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: You know what's funny is I learned a tile. I
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: learned a tile from home depot And I don't know
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: if they still do it, but they used to have
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: a Saturday class every other Saturday or something. They used
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: to have classes home deeopo and Low's used to have classes.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: That's how I learned a tile. I learned to lay
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: wood floors like that. Yeah, but now you go to
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: AI and Instagram and YouTube. It's great.
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: What's a wrong?
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: Seaholu?
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: Man?
- 1:00:55Speaker 8: I got some for you, man?
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: What's s what's that?
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: For my birthday? I got some meta aiyeglasses and I
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: went in Yeah, I went into AI mode and you ask.
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: You, hey, how do I fix my AC?
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: And it's looking at what you're looking at and it'll
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: be like, oh check this, oh check that?
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: Are you serious?
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I swear, Oh my god, that sounds amazing.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: Yeah, it's really cool, like it does a lot. So anyways,
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: I was like looking at it and I fixed my AC.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: It was a capacitor and I was like, damn, these
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: things are expensive.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Well how came you kept wear them when you're burning
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: your meat on the grill?
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: Ah, it doesn't help me with that. Man.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: All this happened a couple of weeks ago, and I
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: wanted to ask you about it because I, uh, how
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: do you handle it a lot of people. I mean
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: a lot of people. And I met a lot of
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: people over the years in Baker's Field, and I don't
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: remember them all. And some people get mad at me
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: when I don't remember him. But I meet a whole
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: bunch of people, and you meet me, So I'm rememberable.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I'm the guy on the radio. I'm rememberable when I
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: meet you. It's not that I don't want to remember you.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: It's just I meet you know, a hundred people like you.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: So the other day, a friend of mine is funny.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: We're talking about service industry. A friend of mine, she says,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: she needs an electrician, right, and I have an electrician.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I know my boy Art, but I can I don't
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: have his phone number, right, So I'm thinking, oh, I
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: know Art, but I don't know arts phone number. So
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: I call a couple other guys. Hey, you know Arts
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: phone number. Nobody knows Art phone number. So I go
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: on my phone and I just type in you know
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: you go to the search for your phone book and
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I type an electrician. Guy comes up and I just
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: text him said, oh, I'm sorry, I don't remember how
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: how do we know each other? I apologize for not
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: remembering but electrician and it was kind of urgent. So
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: what he just text me back, this is how we
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: know each other. I went, oh, yeah, okay, and then
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: all came back to me. Right, no big deal. But
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: people will get mad when you don't remember them. How
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: do you handle that? What do you do when you
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: don't remember somebody? I mean, how do you handle that situation?
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I thought I handled it?
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: And the.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Guy I'm talking about was great, helped out. My friend
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: did a great job, just great, no, very nice, very
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: understanding that I, you know, didn't remember him. But like
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I said, what do you do when you run into
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: people that you don't remember?
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: What do you do?
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: How do you handle that? Some people get offended that
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: you don't remember them. I think a lot of people
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: don't care, you know. I've had people actually walk up
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: to me and their first words out of their mouth
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: were you don't remember remember me?
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: Do you?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: And I'll be like, well, no, I don't know, remind
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: me and then everything goes great, But some people get upset.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: What do you guys do? How do you handle it
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: when you don't remember somebody? What do you do?
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: All? Right? E?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Four? Two, five four or seven? Seven? Hey? Romeo? I
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: gotta tell you a funny story. It's not about not
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: remembering somebody, but it's about not seeing somebody. The other day,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: me and my girlfriends we went out to lunch. Well,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: my husband walked in and he didn't say anything to me.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: So I got upset. I texted him. I called him,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: what in the heck where are you at? What are
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: you doing? Why didn't you say hi to me? Well,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: you didn't see me. So I got upset, not because
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: he didn't remember me, but because he didn't see me
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: when he walked into the restaurant. Now, to be fair,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: we were at a big restaurant, so it was a
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: big oh okay, yeah, I had that happen. I had that.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I actually had that happen over the weekend. I went
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: to our before the weekend last week, I was I
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: went out to a restaurant packed everywhere. I walked by
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: a guy who I'd known for twenty years, and I
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: just didn't see him. It wasn't he got a little
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: upset at me. I already poured two five, four, seven
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: to seven eight. If and chiefs fan, if I see
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: you in the streets room, I say hi, that's uh
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: that the oh the f and chief fan guy. I
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: would say hi to everybody, but I don't remember everybody.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I've met so many people over my life over the
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: last thirty years in Bakersfield on the show, off the
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: show that I just I don't remember everybody. I have
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: a terrible memory. I already poured two five fours seven
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: to seven, and some people get mad. They actually get mad.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Oh and by the way, for my buddy that I
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: ran into last week, and he said, why didn't I
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: say hi? Why didn't you say hi to me? Then
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: if you saw me? Because I didn't see you, So
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: why didn't you say hi to me?
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: Roam oh, lou go to work?
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: God damn, get a job. What that?
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: That's why I'm calling.
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: If your guys at goes out, give me a call.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: I have the AI glasses to fix it.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: That's how you beat the heat.
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: Her chief too.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: All right, let me ask you a question. You use
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: these AI glasses to look at what exactly went out
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: on your AC unit that it told you how to
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: fix it.
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: I was just telling it what's wrong with it, and
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: they're like, oh, check this, And I'm like where's that at?
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: They're like, oh, it should be right here.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Open up this box.
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: They like tell me exactly what to do.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: And where was what was the box? The fan outside
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: or the ac oh, I don't know, the A C
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: and the in the what.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: The A C is actually on the floor so it
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: was easy to access. And they told me just to
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: take off the little box on the side.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Yeah, you see's on the floor. Are you talking about
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: outside or inside the house? Outside the house fan, not
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: the air conditioning unit? Yeah, okay, all right.
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: Just hey, I got it fixed, and I got others
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: fixed with my glasses, so.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: I'm trying to get a job, you know what I mean, right.
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: Busy?
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Oh see hw glu Oh. He's such a lovable idiot.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I don't know what to do with him.
- 1:07:34Speaker 8: Throw me over the morning every morning morning four one
