AI product launch: Nvidia turns safety into a product
On 15 September 2026 at Dreamforce, Jensen Huang declared that AI safety is an engineering problem and that new laws are unnecessary, presenting Nvidia as a full-stack vendor of chips, open source models, agents, harnesses and sandboxes. For CSOs, CFOs and CDOs the consequence is concrete: safety due diligence shifts from the regulator to the contract, and liability clauses, audit rights and safety SLAs become negotiating leverage and a criterion for vendor selection.
