- 0:11Five minutes past the hour. It's the third hour The Morning Show with Preston
- 0:16Scott. Out of respect to our guest who lives in the Pacific Northwest,
- 0:20I will not give the specific hour. Justin Haskins joins us from the Land
- 0:27Institute. Good morning, sir, how are you. I'm doing very well.
- 0:30I'm drinking my coffee. Yeah, I'm waking up. Yeah, I'm
- 0:34doing okay. So how much lead time do you need to do a gig
- 0:38like this? Oh? I just woke up. I just literally crawled out
- 0:43of bed and I've got a coffee IV hooked up into me and I'm good
- 0:48to go, like five minutes. Nothing like prepping for a hard hitting interview.
- 0:57All right, So tell me, how's the book doing. New book
- 1:00with Glenn Beck. Oh, it's been, it's it's it's doing fantastic.
- 1:03Glenn and I. In July we really Stark Future, which is all about
- 1:11um the Great Reset, as it's being applied by elites and the Biden administration
- 1:15to emerging technologies in order to transform the future of all of humanity, but
- 1:22especially in the Western world. So it's about artificial intelligence and quantum computing and
- 1:32cryptocurrencies and central bank, digital currencies, and all kinds of crazy new technologies,
- 1:38as well as the whole you'll own nothing and you'll be happy thing that
- 1:42Davos is always boasting about. We we did probably the most comprehensive dive into
- 1:49all of those things that I think anyone has ever done. And what it
- 1:53shows very clearly is that elites are designing the future by reads signing emerging technologies
- 2:00to control you and your children. And it is so so creepy. Some
- 2:07of the stuff that's in that book is just absolutely incredible. So if you
- 2:10if you read the book Glen and I did a year and a half ago,
- 2:15The Great Reset, Dark Future is absolutely a book for you. When
- 2:21it launched July eleventh, it was the number two non fiction book in America,
- 2:24number three overall. The reviews in it have been fantastic. People love
- 2:30it, so available wherever books are sold to check it out. What pushback
- 2:35are you getting that you are able to respond to? In other words,
- 2:38is there anybody trying to credibly pick apart the arguments or are they just hoping
- 2:45not enough people read it? Yeah, it's definitely the ladder. It's definitely
- 2:50the ladder for the most part. We're being largely sort of pushed out,
- 2:57Like for example, Target is selling the book in stores. You've got very
- 3:04similar to what happened to Mark Levin's book recently, although they backtrack on his
- 3:08book and they have not done that for our book. You know, the
- 3:12New York Times and organizations like that have suppressed where the book should be based
- 3:16on actual sales on their best seller lists, So they've got us at the
- 3:20bottom of their best seller lists when I shouldn't be there, you know.
- 3:23So it's really just people trying to keep it out of bookstores, is really
- 3:29what's going on to some extent. But the book is doing really well anyway
- 3:32despite that, But no one is attempted to make I don't think it's possible
- 3:37to refute most of what's in that book. I mean, there's stuff that's
- 3:39speculation, but a lot of it is just taking people's own words, own
- 3:44reports, the plans that people have very clearly articulated and showing the average American
- 3:52person what's going on, because they're not going to Davos and they're not reading
- 3:55these big tech reports and they're not you know, paying attention to what's going
- 4:00on. And I don't blame them. Neither was I, and so we
- 4:03start doing this book. But once you see for yourself, you will never
- 4:08look at the world the same way again. Justin They can call it speculation,
- 4:12but we need to remember that's how a lot of people make millions is
- 4:15they look at the facts in a given market and they speculate on what's going
- 4:21to happen based on those facts. And that's that's what you've done. Yeah,
- 4:28I think, and I would say, you know, fifteen percent of
- 4:31it is speculation. I mean a lot of it is just straight up here's
- 4:35what they're planning to do. Here's what they're saying they're going to do.
- 4:40And I mean, if you pay attention to the news and you know where
- 4:43to look, you see it all the time. Just recently, there was
- 4:46a story that came out this massive, massive Wall Street firm that's involved with
- 4:49helping black Rock and big investment management firms decide how to vote in proxy votes.
- 4:57We're talking about corporate shareholder resolution, how corporations should act, what their
- 5:01policies should be. There's resolutions that are offered by shareholders. How should these
- 5:06various shareholders vote. The really big ones. There's this company that's one of
- 5:13the two largest companies in the world for this, and they recently came out
- 5:16and said, you know what we should do with artificial intelligence. We should
- 5:19basically rig it so that it gives us the answers that we want related to
- 5:25you know, BI and a whole bunch of other stuff. And you know,
- 5:28if we can't rig the algorithms themselves, we should at least rig the
- 5:32data so that the data we put into the AI will give us the answer
- 5:38that we want. And it's really important we do that because if we don't
- 5:41do that, then we're going to have all these inequities and there's going to
- 5:45be racism at the end of the day, all this stuff. I mean,
- 5:47they're very open about what they're doing with the Heartland Institute and stoppingsocialism dot
- 5:56com and author co author with Glenn Beck of a couple of books that need
- 6:01to be on your library shelf and more importantly need to be read Justin Haskins
- 6:06with us, Justin we've probably touched on this a few times over the years,
- 6:11but for people that have not had a chance to maybe follow your writing
- 6:16and a lot of the things that we've talked about over time, I've asked
- 6:20this or made this statement to elected members of Congress for the last several years,
- 6:27and no one has just grabbed it and owned it, but they've all
- 6:30sort of danced around it. And I've just simply said this. If what's
- 6:35happening to the transformation of our economy and what's happening to the transformation of our
- 6:42country is not intentional, then what is it? Yeah? I mean,
- 6:47I think there's no doubt in my mind that at least a fair amount of
- 6:53what's going on is very intentional. I think sometimes problems emerge fast than elites
- 7:00predict, including the Biden administration, like for example, I think they,
- 7:05I really do believe the Biden administration and a whole bunch of governments in Europe
- 7:12too, thought they could print trillions and trillions and trillions of new dollars or
- 7:16euros or whatever over the past few years and that they would not have an
- 7:20inflation crisis as a result of that. I think they truly believed that they
- 7:25could get away with that, and it was part of their plan to make
- 7:29people more dependent on government and to further manipulate the free market so that big
- 7:35corporations are doing their bidding. It was all part of their plan. That's
- 7:40what the Great Reset, big chunk of the Great Reset was all about that,
- 7:44and they ended up getting a huge inflation crisis. We're seeing historic levels
- 7:47of inflation that have not come down from where they were when they first skyrocketed
- 7:53up. So sometimes they I think, are very deliberately doing these things,
- 7:58and other times they're not. But if people took the time that I've taken,
- 8:01and I don't recommend they do because they'll probably need a lot of therapy
- 8:05afterwards, but if they've taken the time that I have to actually read what
- 8:11these people in Davos and the Biden administration others. There are thousands of pages
- 8:18of all sorts of reports and documents and things from central banks and from government
- 8:24administrations and from the World Economic Forum and all these different places where they talk
- 8:28about what they think the best course of action is and why they're doing it,
- 8:33and how they want to rewrite social contracts for all of Western civilization,
- 8:39and they want to push the reset button on the global economy, and they're
- 8:43they're very open about it. They're very very clear that this is what they
- 8:46want to do. They want a transformation. They want a transformation not just
- 8:50of the economy, but of all of society, and it is on purpose.
- 8:54And they say it in their own words over and over and over again.
- 8:58They say it on video. You have audios them speaking saying these things.
- 9:03And yet anyone that brings up is a conspiracy theorist, who's a crazy
- 9:07tinfoil hat wearing, you know, conspiracy theorist when you're just quoting people like
- 9:13John Kerry saying things like we need to rewrite social contracts, and everyone says,
- 9:16well that what is you know, that's a conspiracy theory. No,
- 9:20it's just his own words, And so I don't think that there's any doubt
- 9:24that's what's going on. I think the reason why so many politicians on the
- 9:28right don't want to say it is either because they're afraid of being called a
- 9:33conspiracy theorist, or probably more accurately, many of them are kind of part
- 9:39of the problem too. They may not be quite as bad as the Democrats,
- 9:43but a lot of them are in the same club. And that's a
- 9:46big part of the problem that we have. I did nice you all right
- 9:52standby almost twenty two minutes past our final segment. Justin Haskins with us this
- 10:03month from the Harland Institute. And again the books that you need to be
- 10:09looking for. Dark Future is the latest Justin with Glenn Beck, and the
- 10:13Great Reset preceded it. You really, it encapsulates and expands by a factor
- 10:20probably ten or a hundred what we've talked about for the last several years on
- 10:26this show. Justin you wrote another piece recently that talks about climate change because
- 10:31well, you know, it's hot in the summer, and I know that's
- 10:33earth shattering news, but anyway, yeah, yeah, it is hot,
- 10:39and it is a particularly hot summer, there is no doubt about that compared
- 10:43to other summer generally speaking. But the thing that's so frustrating about what you're
- 10:50seeing in the news today, of course, is you can't you can't turn
- 10:54on your computer or pick up the newspaper if you still do that, or
- 10:58or turn on the television about hearing about the historic heat waves that are going
- 11:03to kill all everybody in America or something. I mean, the way that
- 11:07these things are presented is it sounds like we've never seen heat waves like what
- 11:11we're seeing right now, like this is the worst we've ever seen. But
- 11:16when you actually look at the data, when you actually go in and you
- 11:18look at the official government data. You can go to EPA dot gov and
- 11:24you can find the data there or a whole bunch of other places as well.
- 11:28And you look at the heatwave index, that you look at it over
- 11:30a long, long period of time. So you can't just look at it
- 11:31over ten or twenty or thirty or forty years. Because climate change data,
- 11:37the climate things change over time naturally, and even if humans are involved in
- 11:45some way of impacting it in some way, still the changes are occurring over
- 11:48very long periods of time, so you have to look at it over long
- 11:52periods. What you see is that the heatwave index, there have been decades
- 11:58where heatwaves have been significantly worse than anything that we're seeing right now, significantly
- 12:03worse than anything that we've been seeing over the past ten twenty years, and
- 12:07the nineteen thirties in particular, the entire decade of the nineteen thirties so almost
- 12:13had very high heat waves throughout the whole decade. And some of that is
- 12:18related to you, some feedback from the dust bowl and agricultural practices and things
- 12:26like that in the United States. But if you look at the total scale
- 12:30of things, you'll see around the turn of the century, huge heat waves
- 12:33in the nineteen thirties, massive massive heat waves, the biggest that we have
- 12:37on record, not now in the nineteen thirties, the biggest that we had
- 12:39on record. The nineteen fifties, another big spike, and right in the
- 12:43late nineteen eighties, another huge, huge heat wave spike. This has happened
- 12:48over and over and over again. Justin we're not killing crazy things that we've
- 12:52never seen before. And I want to interject, you said the nineteen eighties,
- 12:54just prior to that, all of the publications, newsweek time, and
- 13:00all the papers were talking about the ice age that we were about to get
- 13:03it by. Yeah, that's a great that's a great point. I'm glad
- 13:07you brought that up, because if you look at if you look at the
- 13:09heat wave data, what you see that's so striking is that beginning in the
- 13:15late nineteen fifties all the way into the late nineteen eighties, there were a
- 13:18historically low number of heat waves. For a very long period of time,
- 13:24we had very few heat waves. And so when you see a lot of
- 13:26reports about heat wave data, they often start that government reports and media reports.
- 13:33In the nineteen sixties, on purpose so that it looks like the increase
- 13:37in heat waves was incredibly dramatic, because yeah, that was a very very
- 13:43low period. And during that period they were talking about global cooling. They
- 13:48were talking about a massive cooling problem that we're going to have and we were
- 13:52all gonna die from that. And so there's always a gigantic crisis. You
- 13:56can trace it back for a hundred years. You can find there's always some
- 14:00gigantic environmental crisis that's right around the corner. The population boom was a big
- 14:05thing for a long time. We wouldn't be able to feed the world and
- 14:09all of this other stuff, Right, it's incredible. Well, we were
- 14:11supposed to be minus a bunch of population, we were supposed to be minus
- 14:15snow on the caps. There's a lot of that stuff. Let me ask
- 14:18you this in closing, justin what would you say is something we best remember
- 14:24moving forward about how this climate stuff is impacting us and how it ties to
- 14:30your great reset. Yeah. I think the biggest thing that people need to
- 14:33keep in mind is that the so called solutions that are being presented, So
- 14:39even if you believe that humans are the primary drivers of climate change, even
- 14:45if you believe that the solutions that are presented. The so called solutions are
- 14:50always there's always two problems with them. The first is it gives the left
- 14:54everything that they've always wanted, even before they came up with the climate things,
- 14:56so immediate climate change thing, so immediately you have to be suspicious of
- 15:00it because they're offering you a solution that says, give us more power,
- 15:05give us more power, will transform the economy. The other thing is that
- 15:07if they really did believe that we were headed for a climate crisis, look
- 15:11at their behavior. Would they be buying houses on the beach when they think
- 15:16that sea level rise is happening? Would would Barack Obama have bought a massive,
- 15:22multimillion dollar mansion in Martha's Vineyard that in an area where he thinks it's
- 15:26going to be underwater supposedly? Would he do that? Would they be flying
- 15:28around in private jets like John Kerry does. Would Al Gore be living in
- 15:33these massive mansions, driving having you know, gas guzzling cars. I mean,
- 15:37they wouldn't do these things if they really believe that there was a climate
- 15:41change catastrophe coming around the corner. And especially with China, the amount of
- 15:46business that they do with China is proof that they don't really believe this to
- 15:50their core, because China's admits more CO two emissions than anybody else in the
- 15:54world. They're massively increasing their cold production and other things like that, and
- 16:00there is no sign that that's going to stop any time in the immediate future.
- 16:03Oh also, they're human rights violators and terrible people the people in charge,
- 16:07but who cares, right, they're still doing business with them. So
- 16:11if you really believe we were heading for a climate catastrophe, why would you
- 16:14be doing business with people who are supposedly making the problem much worse? Justin,
- 16:18because I don't think they believe it. I appreciate your time as always,
- 16:21we'll talk again next month. Thank you, brother. Thanks Preston.
- 16:23All Right, Justin Haskins on The Morning Show.
