- 1:15I have been doing some research today and i'm a little uh
- 1:21I got curious this morning. There's been a lot of talk about tomahawks and
- 1:26and it's really weird because uh
- 1:29I have a lot and most of us do have a lot of useless factual data in our heads
- 1:36right
- 1:37and I had this
- 1:40Series of useless
- 1:42Data thoughts that just came
- 1:45To my head and I was like, wait a second
- 1:48the tomahawk
- 1:50The tomahawk missile that we're talking about providing to ukraine, right?
- 1:56We're supposed to be given tomahawks, you know, this threat's been going back and forth for weeks now
- 2:02Tomahawks, no tomahawks again today. There were four or five, uh stories about um
- 2:11Tomahawks and trump's gonna make a uh
- 2:16Big announcement tomorrow. Oh my god. I'm tired. Sorry
- 2:20I'm over here yawning and i've had I don't I don't sleep. Well, i've already told you this and I have a I have a
- 2:27Serious sleep issues and have had for you know, a little while
- 2:33Well many years in fact in driving me
- 2:37Bananas, but anyway, this random thought came to my head and I was like, wait a minute
- 2:41Trump keeps claiming he's going to give him the tomahawk
- 2:47Zelensky keeps saying boy. We really need that tomahawk
- 2:51and
- 2:51Putin and company are all going don't give him the tomahawk
- 2:55and
- 2:57Then we all start and think about it and go wait a minute
- 3:01Putin's been saying that the tomahawk has to be launched with the assistance
- 3:07of the united states
- 3:08like you can't just
- 3:10Have you know deliver a bunch of tomahawks to ukraine? What are they going to do throw them?
- 3:16You have to have the the launcher platforms and you got to have the right launcher platforms. What are they going to do?
- 3:22Slingshot them somehow
- 3:25uh the bulk of ours and I are in
- 3:29are in
- 3:31ships or submarines
- 3:33Um, and I got pretty curious was sitting there going no, wait a minute
- 3:38How many and how do we shoot this tomahawk the u.s?
- 3:43Because we can't just wander over and hand them to ukraine and say, all right, you're on your own
- 3:49Here's some tomahawks
- 3:51Have fun. So I I decided to go and do a uh, a short little
- 3:58blurb about
- 3:59the tomahawk because
- 4:02It's
- 4:04Let's let's see what the tomahawk
- 4:07uh, let's why don't we go just straight to wikipedia and see what the
- 4:14tomahawk missile
- 4:16really is
- 4:17Okay, and whether you can believe in wikipedia or not
- 4:21We're going to go to several different sources on this
- 4:23Because I have a theory and it'll come together on this. This is all a bunch of nonsense
- 4:28This is nothing but posture and on on probably on both sides, but
- 4:32More on our side than on the russian side and and zelensky. I don't know that he has any clue what's going on
- 4:39But but that's me
- 4:40I i've been wrong before once or twice if I recall so the bgm
- 4:45109 tomahawk land attack
- 4:49missile
- 4:51They give them these cool little names. This one's called the tea lamb
- 4:55Is an american long-range all-weather
- 4:58Meaning you could shoot it in the rain even or the snow
- 5:01jet-powered
- 5:03subsonic
- 5:04cruise missile
- 5:06used by the
- 5:08us navy
- 5:10royal australian navy
- 5:13royal netherlands navy
- 5:16and the royal navy in ship
- 5:19and submarine base land attack operations
- 5:23Developed at the applied physics laboratory of johns hopkins university under james h walker near laurel
- 5:31Maryland the tomahawk emerged in the 70s as a modular
- 5:37cruise missile first manufactured by general dynamics
- 5:41Tomahawk aimed to fulfill the need for a medium to long range low altitude
- 5:47Missile with diverse capabilities its modular design
- 5:51Allows for compatibility with a range of warheads
- 5:56including high explosive
- 5:58Submunition and bunker busters the tomahawk can use a variety of guidance systems including gps inertial navigation
- 6:06Terrain contour matching over a dozen variants and upgrade versions have been developed since the original design
- 6:14Blah blah blah we'll skip some of these from 1992 to 94 mcdonald douglas was sole supplier of tomahawks
- 6:22Producing block one and block three. I'm sorry block two and block three versions
- 6:27and
- 6:28Remanufacturing many tomahawks to block three specifications in 94
- 6:33hughes aircraft having purchased general dynamics missile division
- 6:38Outbid mcdonald doves to become the
- 6:41sole supplier of tomahawks a
- 6:44joint venture between hughes and Raytheon
- 6:48manufactured the missile from 95 until Raytheon's acquisition of hughes in 97
- 6:54solidifying their position as the
- 6:57sole supplier in
- 6:592016 the u.s. Department of Defense purchased
- 7:05149
- 7:07tomahawk block four missiles
- 7:10for
- 7:12202.3 million dollars and as of
- 7:172024 Raytheon remains the sole
- 7:21manufacturer of
- 7:23Non-nuclear sea-launched tomahawks, okay
- 7:28And it comes in several variants. You have the land-attack missile nuclear the bgm 109 a
- 7:35And it was retired from service between 2010 and 2013
- 7:40reports from early 2018 say the US Navy is considering
- 7:44reintroducing the nuclear missile back into service
- 7:49the
- 7:50tomahawk anti-ship missile the RGM UGM 109 B
- 7:55anti-ship variant
- 7:57Converted to block 4 BGM tomahawk and land-attack blah blah blah BGM 109 D land-attack
- 8:05RGM land-attack missile improved version also called tactical tomahawk
- 8:12So here we get to one called the BGM 109 G Griffin
- 8:20ground launch cruise missile
- 8:24GLCM with a
- 8:28W84 nuclear warhead, which was withdrawn from service in 91
- 8:34back when I was in and
- 8:38working for the on-site inspection agency under the
- 8:43INF Treaty
- 8:44Intermediate-range nuclear forces. We were getting rid of them. Okay, and so the ground launch missile systems were gone
- 8:53Then came the medium-range air-to-surface missile a shorter range turbojet air launch cruise with
- 9:01Conventional non-nuclear warheads was intended for the United States Air Force and Navy
- 9:07okay with Turk common route and DS MAC terminal guidance and payload of
- 9:13runway cratering
- 9:14submunitions for the Navy with the unitary warhead was entering service and
- 9:20The ground launch cruise missiles and their truck like vehicles were employed at bases in Europe
- 9:27Until they were withdrawn from service to comply with the INF Treaty
- 9:31Many of the anti-ship versions were converted to T lamps and then they talk about how they get upgraded
- 9:39major improvements to the tomahawk network
- 9:42come from
- 9:45They get data to find its targets and the tomahawk block B variants
- 9:50So I'm trying to figure out how they're going to mount them
- 9:54So the and so I spent a little bit of time going through this
- 10:00Because they have these missiles
- 10:03They have strike controllers and the Navy is still the ones who carry most of these
- 10:10Missiles and they are ship based
- 10:13Missiles, which is the launch systems. Let's see. Each missile is stored
- 10:20Let's see the bulk of them are installed in four reactive
- 10:24Iowa class battleships to Iowa to New Jersey the Missouri the Wisconsin
- 10:30The ABL's were installed on eight
- 10:33Spruance class destroyers for Virginia class cruisers and the nuclear cruiser the USS Long Beach
- 10:40These canisters are in vertical launch arrays on other surface
- 10:45Ships as well in the later, Los Angeles class submarines the Virginia class submarines and in submarine
- 10:53torpedo tubes
- 10:55So the bulk of these things are hanging out in
- 11:00On the ships. Okay, and so I'm sitting there going. No, wait a minute here here we have the
- 11:07There's some also some some
- 11:10launcher
- 11:11Systems that came about a little bit later the Marines had some
- 11:16That came out and we'll talk a little bit about those
- 11:21The Navy has a history of using these things to Marines in the Gulf War
- 11:29Shot and let's see number of Tomahawk missiles actually fired in
- 11:36The Gulf War
- 11:39288 in Iraq
- 11:43Part of Iraqi disarmament
- 11:4546 and
- 11:4723 in 93 206 and 93 17
- 11:52operation deliberate force Bosnia Herzegovina
- 11:5613 were fired
- 11:58more Iraqi disarmament
- 12:0044 more operation infinite reach in Afghanistan and Sudan we fired
- 12:06379 operation desert Fox Iraq did
- 12:10325 NATO
- 12:13intervention nice word there in Yugoslavia
- 12:17218 operation enduring freedom in
- 12:21Afghanistan 50 more
- 12:232003 invasion of Iraq
- 12:26802 the Dobley airstrike in Somalia to
- 12:30Al-Qaeda training camp in Yemen in 2009 to
- 12:352011 military intervention in Libya 124 military intervention in ISIL Iraq
- 12:4147 in response again in Yemen 5 chariot missile strikes in Syria 59
- 12:48218 bombing in Damascus and on Homs Syria 66
- 12:53bombing of Yemen
- 12:55135 March
- 12:572025 they didn't list any they didn't none were fired there an attack on Iranian nuclear sites
- 13:04Just recently we allegedly fired 30. Okay, the United Kingdom Japan
- 13:12Netherlands Germany
- 13:14But they were removed from Germany Spain was interested in acquiring the Tomahawk system
- 13:22Cancelled it in 2009
- 13:24Let's see
- 13:25There there are
- 13:27plenty of these that talk about it and very few that talk about shooting them from
- 13:35Anywhere, except a ship and Ukraine don't have any
- 13:41Many ships they had one if I remember and it got destroyed in in in the river
- 13:48Not too long ago. And so let's go back and have a look at
- 13:55There was an article I read so on these other
- 14:01Operating systems. Let's see here
- 14:06Here's one coming out and this is a Ukrainian
- 14:10friendly
- 14:13News organization here and it says and this came out just today October 14
- 14:192025 get this there's a
- 14:23The u.s. Rolls out a new
- 14:26Mobile Tomahawk launcher that could one day strike for Ukraine
- 14:33This get this article
- 14:34This is entertaining as the u.s. Explores more mobile and autonomous ways to launch long-range missiles
- 14:42one system
- 14:43unveiled in Washington today
- 14:46Could mark a turning point for both American doctrine and for Ukraine's future strike capability
- 14:53This is today at the a USA 2025 Defense Expo in Washington DC Oshkosh defense
- 15:01unveiled what they call the XMav a
- 15:05new mobile land-based launcher designed to carry four
- 15:10Tomahawk cruise missiles the vehicle developed as part of the u.s. Is
- 15:16Modernization efforts is entering the spotlight just as Washington and Kiev engage in technical talks
- 15:22over a possible transfer of Tomahawk systems to Ukraine
- 15:27Said army recognition on October 14th the XMav which stands for extreme
- 15:33multi-mission autonomous vehicle is
- 15:37Engineered for cross-country mobility
- 15:41Autonomous operation and rapid repositioning
- 15:47According to army recognition it offers a more survivable and flexible alternative to the current
- 15:55containerized
- 15:56Typhoon launcher system used by the US Army which has been deployed
- 16:02Which has already deployed land launch launched Tomahawks to the Indo-pacific theater now this is
- 16:12Highly unwieldy when you look at a picture of this thing you got a huge truck with
- 16:19What is the name of that thing that they put them on the on the
- 16:25Man
- 16:26They're more they're usually used for fuel deliveries and stuff like that and I can't remember name them from my old army days
- 16:32but there's a huge trailer a
- 16:35Huge trailer being pulled behind it and it's got a box on it and this box has to be pulled behind the trailer
- 16:42so all total you have one two, three, four, five six seven sets of wheels and
- 16:50These wheel I mean that they got wheels everywhere in this and I'm not sure that this is all that mobile
- 16:57This thing is huge. So this typhoon system is the one that
- 17:02Is the one pulling a trailer right? So the typhoon system which relies on trailer mounted launchers
- 17:10is
- 17:10You know, really not all that mobile
- 17:14So the XMAV is built for off-road operation in contested trains
- 17:19It's got same for missile capacity
- 17:22but it has better mobility and a little bit of a reduced signature because they can shoot and scoot as the army likes to call it and
- 17:30Easier conceal themselves in wooded or urban environments
- 17:34The XMAV is part of a new family of multi-mission autonomous vehicles
- 17:39Which include the MMAV for Gia GM LRS and PRSM
- 17:45rockets and the LMAV designed to launch switchblade 600 drones and
- 17:52counter unmanned air hill
- 17:54systems and
- 17:56So each of these, you know, they had they show pictures of them all the rollout comes as Ukraine
- 18:03Ukrainian officials confirmed on October 10 that Kiev and Washington are now in
- 18:08Detailed and active technical coordinate technical coordination on Tomahawk integration
- 18:16This includes discussion on missile configuration
- 18:20targeting
- 18:21Architecture now, that's very interesting
- 18:25targeting architecture because
- 18:27Everybody knows you cannot target a Tomahawk without a u.s
- 18:32intelligence platform from somewhere and
- 18:35Suitable launch platforms. Well, I'm here to tell you there aren't any
- 18:41suitable launch
- 18:42platforms
- 18:44President Zelensky stated that if Tomahawks are transferred
- 18:47They would be used exclusively against military targets a message intended to manage
- 18:54escalation concerns with Moscow
- 18:57Don't believe a word that any of that specially Zelensky says about that
- 19:02They will definitely use them against Russian infrastructure or
- 19:08Russian civilian targets no problem and they will do that and not say anything about it and but they will have to
- 19:17If the u.s. Targets them that is an escalation. And by the way
- 19:22Everybody is saying that if they do do do provide the Tomahawks. It's automatically an
- 19:29Escalation and will destroy any chance of the u.s. And Russia has of working together in the future near future
- 19:37anyway
- 19:39So
- 19:40Several articles. There's another one called. What is a Tomahawk missile?
- 19:44And how can it help Ukraine from a technical standpoint the x-map supports the US Army's common autonomous?
- 19:52multi-domain launcher concept
- 19:54and Oshkosh hasn't
- 19:57Pre-created one they had one
- 20:00What do you call it?
- 20:02showpiece that they put out at the
- 20:07At the exhibition and that's it and
- 20:12So so that's the news of today
- 20:14yesterday there was a
- 20:17an article
- 20:19Trump offers Putin a choice
- 20:22Settle the war or face the Tomahawk
- 20:25right said he plans to raise the possibility of
- 20:30Sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine if he doesn't agree and this is from Fox News Trump said he spoke with
- 20:37Zelensky the same day and discussed Ukraine's weapon needs so I went through the budget to find out where they are
- 20:45No
- 20:47Safe zone would be left if here's some latest news from October 7 boy
- 20:53They've been pushing this there so many articles could the u.s. Miss and there's another one on the Barracuda
- 21:01Versus the Tomahawk and whether that could provide something
- 21:06Enderil's new Barracuda family of cruise miss cruise like missiles has emerged as a cheaper longer range
- 21:14alternative to scarce
- 21:17Tomahawks, but with small warheads and no mass production line
- 21:21Let's see how that stacks up
- 21:23Enderil industry's new Barracuda family of wing crews like missiles often described in Ukraine as
- 21:28Rocket drones has attracted attention as a potential medium-range option for strikes in the European theater Ukrainian defense
- 21:36media outlet Defense Express reported on October 2nd
- 21:40But despite promising ranges and low cost per unit to Barracuda line comes with drawbacks that limit its usefulness for
- 21:47High value strikes very small warheads and no current production capacity
- 21:54Well, that's depressing for them, isn't it?
- 21:57But there's no real production capacity for the Tomahawk either which we'll get into here in a minute
- 22:05So, let's see. I want to
- 22:08Go back to here where we get why why all the hubbub
- 22:14about all of these alleged Tomahawks going everywhere, so
- 22:21So
- 22:23again, the Tomahawk is a
- 22:27subsonic sea or land launch cruise missile
- 22:30But it's been a United States Navy me and other Navy's mainstay since the 80s
- 22:37And and then they've you know upgraded them all the time. The latest generation is block 5
- 22:44ranges described as about
- 22:46900 nautical miles or about 1600 kilometers, but exact figures by variant are classified
- 22:52it can go speeds of
- 22:56Mach 0.7 to 0.75 according to the Navy
- 23:02Let's see
- 23:05It's a solid booster kicks it out of the canister
- 23:09Wings pop out and a small turbofan takes over for subsonic cruising
- 23:15It has INS or GPS for midcourse turcom terrain contouring matching and DS MAC digital scene
- 23:22Matching to hug the ground and match stored maps in the terminal area. It's harder to see on radar until
- 23:30too late
- 23:32Block four and five the latest ones at a two-way data link
- 23:37so a controller can reroute retarget or
- 23:40Loiter for a better shot window, right?
- 23:46Warheads are typically a thousand pound class unitary
- 23:51but they can be
- 23:52you know use a
- 23:55Bunker buster for hardened targets or something like that
- 23:59The launch platforms are what's interesting ships submarines
- 24:04You know, we know we have those and those are the vast majority of these but the US Army has ground launchers the Typhoon
- 24:13the SMRF and the MRC
- 24:15for
- 24:16strike strike length
- 24:19Mk41 cells in a 40-foot
- 24:21container on a tractor trailer
- 24:24They can fire the tomahawk missile or the sm-6 the first live tomahawk was shot
- 24:32out of such a container in
- 24:352023 the first overseas deployment
- 24:39Was to the Philippines in April of 2024
- 24:44The u.s. And that was in the Typhoon the one I was telling you about that comes on a weird container shaped trailer
- 24:51That's a extremely large and unwieldy
- 24:56so
- 24:58The US and the Philippines say that Typhoon remains forward and is in training and contingency use a
- 25:07battery typically fields for four cell launchers 16 cells
- 25:12Okay, and so they could argue, you know if they can cart them around
- 25:17In the new Oshkosh XMAV, which we told you about it came out here just today
- 25:25They also allegedly had the army in the Marines had a single round
- 25:31trailer style launcher
- 25:33They demonstrated these single cell strike length
- 25:36Mk41 launchers on small trucks or a trailer and they called them the rogue fire or jail
- 25:44LTV based launcher. They had long-range fire single cell concept noted for
- 25:512026 these are concept to demo. They're not fielded
- 25:55It's meaning so two of these three the Typhoon is the only one that's fielded and it's only been fielded in
- 26:022023 and it's in the Philippines
- 26:05Okay, so we got problems on there unless your ship shooting them from ship to shore or ship to land ship to wherever you're
- 26:13you're gonna fire them and I don't know how they're gonna give these to Ukraine because Ukraine can't put them on a ship and
- 26:20Maybe somebody can you know, I'd be happy to learn more about this if it's if it's not out there
- 26:26this is all research I've done today to go and find out because I don't remember this from my missile training when I was
- 26:34Eliminating missiles under the INF Treaty. I remember getting rid of some of these most of them were
- 26:41Our
- 26:41Pershing twos we were getting rid of but we were also getting rid of many other classes that were coming up during the
- 26:48INF Treaty and the Russians were getting rid all their ss-20s
- 26:52So I got a little bit curious about how many tomahawks the u.s. Actually has
- 26:59the precise inventory is
- 27:02classified but open sources say that the in the end DOD budget records show that the Navy has purchased
- 27:09eight thousand nine hundred and fifty nine tomahawks historically and
- 27:16Not more than 2,300 have been used in combat since 91
- 27:23Analysts estimate that approximately 4,000 are in the u.s. Inventory today
- 27:30Getting rid of you know demolish getting rid of a demilitarization
- 27:35using them in training or post expenditure
- 27:39and
- 27:40According to some current sources block five sites. They say that there are three thousand nine hundred and ninety-two
- 27:48missiles left and
- 27:51How many are produced per year it varies by budget lot and the amount of foreign sales a recent?
- 27:59Selected acquisition report says that the average procurement
- 28:03unit cost cost per unit is
- 28:071.3 million dollars and
- 28:12It has about a 1300 kilometer range, okay and
- 28:18Production is now between the new build block fives and
- 28:23What do they really cost the u.s. Procurement data?
- 28:28puts it at 1.3 1 million and
- 28:30And
- 28:32block five the most the newest ones are 2 million and
- 28:38Higher if you include spares and support
- 28:41foreign military sales packages like training spare support
- 28:45Push per round equivalents higher than that and say that they're closer to the three to four million dollar plus
- 28:53per round
- 28:55once you include the
- 28:59Requirements for what you have. So what the tomahawk can and cannot do a
- 29:06Land attack they can do pre-planned routes. They can fly low. They can weave around defenses. They can retarget or loiter
- 29:14Maritime strike there. They can be a seeker and they have a software for for hitting moving ships, you know, they can do that
- 29:23the reality versus modern
- 29:27Low-altitude make, you know make it hard to detect until late, but they aren't invulnerable in Syria in 2017 and 18
- 29:35Russia claimed that to
- 29:38shot down large numbers like only 23 of 59 ever reached a spot while u.s. and
- 29:47Independence say the majority of missiles hit their aim points
- 29:51There will be contested narratives in Ukraine to Russia says that they're layered defenses
- 29:56They're s400 the book the tour the panzer while Kiev highlights tomahawks low-level routing and complex guidance
- 30:04It's tough to stop. We don't know
- 30:07But let's go back and look at the track record
- 30:091991 Gulf War first major use
- 30:131998 Desert Fox 99 Kosovo. I told you about all of those and
- 30:1780 80 missiles in the first night since
- 30:221991 to any 300 fired in combat the new thing we've heard about is this launcher though
- 30:30It's a heavy
- 30:33Autonomous capable truck can shoot four
- 30:37Canisters it so it's equal in salvo strength to the Typhon, but is far better off-road, right?
- 30:44And so it'll complement that but the
- 30:48Single tomahawk trailer that one doesn't work. There's been news in the last few days that the most
- 30:56This is the the funny part of it all because if this is a war game changer
- 31:02You know, I'll be happy to eat my hat
- 31:04I'm not wearing a hat, but I'll go find one and then put it on and then eat it
- 31:10Let's see how many can get to Ukraine?
- 31:13At the very most
- 31:15experts say that they could get maybe 50 and probably between 20 and 50 and
- 31:22multiple outlets saying like the Financial Times
- 31:26report US deliberations on a limited initial grouping Russia calls this a major escalation of course and
- 31:35Threatens to destroy the missiles, but more importantly to strike the launch sites
- 31:41The Kremlin has been messaging hard on this point and the reason is
- 31:46Because they can't shoot them, you know to use them on land
- 31:50Ukraine would need ground
- 31:53launchers
- 31:54They don't have any the only
- 31:58operational US system to launch a tomahawk is the Typhon the four-cell container launcher and the
- 32:06XMF won't be available for another year
- 32:09They say they won't be available till at the earliest mid 2026
- 32:13Okay
- 32:14and so if anything we're making threats for for the future right and and and this is more
- 32:21posturing to you know force a settlement of some sort, right and
- 32:27anyway
- 32:29The there is that single cell but that also was terminated
- 32:33Two years ago by the
- 32:38Marines and the army had never had it and so they're not in production either
- 32:44The tomahawk is a proven but legacy
- 32:48subsonic weapon Russia says it's defeatable with layered air defenses
- 32:52Moscow says that any Ukrainian transfers an escalation and it will preempt launchers
- 33:00you know you were where you gonna and and and
- 33:03Remember Russia's already taken out all the attack comes. I mean there are very few of those left attack comes where'd they go?
- 33:10where the Patriots the
- 33:12defense
- 33:13gone
- 33:14where the
- 33:15what's the other one the
- 33:18attack comes and
- 33:21Forgot the name of it a token batch of 20 to 50 is
- 33:26Symbolic millions per round two to three million bucks a shot unless it's paired with enough mobile launchers
- 33:34some sort of deception some sort of
- 33:37radar to generate survivable
- 33:41Scenarios for Ukraine, so Russia will prioritize just what they did with every other launcher system or
- 33:49launcher for Patriot systems, which are
- 33:53virtually gone
- 33:55So they'll take these typhoon trucks and x-mav assets
- 33:59Loitering munitions ballistic strikes. They'll get rid of them
- 34:03So I'm not so positive. This is gonna be a a good
- 34:10Tried to find a number of the ground launchers that are actually in in
- 34:18Not production but in
- 34:20supply
- 34:21so the typhoon has
- 34:24Let's see
- 34:27How many launchers exist today get this?
- 34:31To fielded batteries, which equals eight launchers, how about that?
- 34:40One aligned to the first
- 34:44Defense forces and one earmarked for the third quarter
- 34:48So they aren't even all both in their planned total army plan is one battery
- 34:55with five batteries total by fiscal year 2026
- 35:00With the next battery is going to go to Europe in fiscal year 2026
- 35:07They have deployments so far in Luzon Philippines arrived in 2024 and they were left in country in
- 35:142025 and
- 35:16Training of Philippine troops is underway
- 35:19So there aren't any launcher systems even of the typhoon, right?
- 35:25And in 2025 Congress was briefed that procurement covered one additional
- 35:32additional typhoon battery that means four more launchers plus reload and support and that means 32
- 35:40tomahawks plus canisters a
- 35:42total of so get this for launchers reload support 32 tomahawks
- 35:50233 million
- 35:52dollars
- 35:55How about that the DOD has not published a clean per launcher or per battery equipment only price
- 36:03so the bottom line today eight
- 36:06operational army launchers with 20 planned by
- 36:112028
- 36:12the first real-world forward deployment is the Philippines and
- 36:17that's of
- 36:18the
- 36:20typhoon the XMF is
- 36:23You know, it isn't even it can do the same thing, but it's it's supposed to be more mobile and blah blah blah
- 36:29Fielded zero and the unit battery cost is not yet public because nobody's bought any
- 36:37Hmm curious, so
- 36:39What are we talking about?
- 36:41With all these crazy thing the single-cell ones those I just kind of threw in because the Marine Corps canceled that contract
- 36:48Effective in July of 2025 the army picked up the concept for a live-fire demo in
- 36:572026 as of today. These are only prototypes and demonstrator launchers. There's no operational battery
- 37:03No publicized cost
- 37:07Unbelievable, I can't I feel like I've been once again had to had
- 37:14You know just been snookered here that people are just
- 37:17Giving me
- 37:20Nonsensical nonsense and talking about and and I've been thinking about it for a while anyway, cuz Trump
- 37:26Tomahawks, no Tomahawks Tomahawks. No Tomahawks. Jeez, you know Putin. We're probably gonna give up those Tomahawks
- 37:33Well, who you gonna give them to and how I mean, okay, let's what are we gonna mail them over? I mean
- 37:41Who's gonna fire them?
- 37:43Don't understand it
- 37:45So the Navy platform capacities get this so and in almost all of these and I think it's important to put this
- 37:52so the Ohio class
- 37:54boats four boats have
- 37:58154 Tomahawks per boat 22 tubes seven rounds apiece, right?
- 38:05so all four boats carry
- 38:09616 but wartime loadout could be you know a little bit different and that's an Ohio class on a Virginia class the
- 38:18early blocks carry Tomahawks via torpedo tubes and
- 38:22Then they can add four large tubes seven Tomahawks each means 28 apiece
- 38:27Okay
- 38:29And on the Arleigh Burke, they can hold 90 to 96 VLS cells depending on the flight cells are mixed and
- 38:36So Tomahawk counts very per ship, but most of these are for ship
- 38:44New I don't I don't know. Let's see how many ground launchers Zippo where have they been deployed?
- 38:52Philippines nowhere else cost of each
- 38:56Astronomical how many missiles in the Navy Marines three thirty nine ninety two and
- 39:02The army doesn't have very many at all
- 39:05They're you know, I
- 39:10It's I
- 39:13Think this is nothing more than a talking point
- 39:18So we sit and we talk about these
- 39:21these
- 39:23Tomahawks and here I've done it now now I've been put but I mean if you can look at YouTube
- 39:29Let me give you a quick rundown of YouTube
- 39:31News about Tomahawk missiles Donald Trump Ukraine
- 39:37Just in 11 hours ago, right?
- 39:41You have Trump warns Russia. He may send Ukraine long-range Tomahawks two days ago
- 39:47Kremlin says don't supply Ukraine Tomahawks two days ago
- 39:52Trump considers sending Tomahawk missiles
- 39:55Moscow warns of escalation
- 39:58Seven hours ago one day ago Tomahawk tech the lethal long-range missile
- 40:04Ukraine wants to target Russia, but it shows it being shot from a ship
- 40:10Where are they gonna get it?
- 40:12Trump's brazen Tomahawk missile threat to Putin Russia hits back one day ago with one line
- 40:19Putin aid shuts up Trump and Zelensky on Tomahawks. I
- 40:27First true deterrent lies in Tomahawk missiles to talk directly to Putin
- 40:34Nonsense, I I don't know that this is gonna do anything. Oh
- 40:44Crazy sauce
- 40:48Tomahawk missiles would put two key Russian targets within Ukraine's reach
- 40:54Yeah, if they could figure out how to how to
- 40:58How to fire them is what I say
- 41:03Oh
- 41:05Let's see
- 41:06All right. We're gonna go back to the we talked about that one
- 41:12the Typhon missile the Oshkosh based and
- 41:17We even did that. So we're gonna get back to here
- 41:21My next question that I that I got to thinking about is how come?
- 41:27it has been so quiet lately as
- 41:32To where we stand on
- 41:37The budget
- 41:40Where I think the budget is still in shutdown people are still in shutdown. I had a video appointment with a
- 41:50doctor
- 41:51from the VA today and
- 41:54it was a video appointment for 15-20 minutes and she said something that she was late because
- 42:01They were in shutdown and the tech people were gone
- 42:06And they were having issues because they had to send people home
- 42:10none, uh, there's a bunch of piece of people missing from places where they go and
- 42:16so and I
- 42:18Think the budget is still out there pending, but truthfully I didn't go look specifically
- 42:23She just said there were people missing so I assume it's still going on, but I really haven't paid attention
- 42:29Today to that issue
- 42:33But what I wanted to get to
- 42:36was I
- 42:38Still am very curious as to how much money
- 42:43the slime balls in DC are
- 42:47Attempting to funnel to Ukraine even now
- 42:51quietly
- 42:52without raising any flags
- 42:55Without telling the people
- 42:57Because we don't have the right to know we don't need to know
- 43:01They just want to send that money to Ukraine for what?
- 43:05for a losing cause
- 43:07by the way that I
- 43:09meant to finish that last segment by saying
- 43:13Let's assume that Ukraine can slingshot throw
- 43:19mail
- 43:21Missiles
- 43:22Into Russia shooting these tomahawks with whatever platform that they can figure out
- 43:29That they can somehow
- 43:31weasel their way into getting
- 43:34the Philippines to send over the two operational batteries that they have and
- 43:40Maybe there's one or two in Europe that weren't really mentioned
- 43:44That we could talk about
- 43:47Let's see, I think somebody wants to discuss this. Hold on. Let's see if I can figure this out
- 43:54Hello caller, how's the family?
- 43:58Well
- 44:03I'm here. There's some areas of the Dnieper River north of Kiev where the waters a
- 44:11Couple hundred feet deep. So I gotta do is load them in a boat and take them out there and chuck them over the side
- 44:16Those things are self-propelled they'll take off
- 44:20So all you got to do is throw them over the overboard. That's what you're saying
- 44:23I mean all the ships do is just shoot them out the side. It's the fans on the unit itself that propels them
- 44:30the fans and fins
- 44:33Well the fence. Yeah, they guide it
- 44:36All you got to do is chuck them over the side. Just drop them off the side
- 44:41Then why have launchers at all?
- 44:45Well, why does the army why does the army need a launcher
- 44:50Because I mean you can't just set it on the ground and turn it on. It's got to have
- 44:57Some initial boost in the land on the land in the air not on in the water though the water
- 45:03It can just be floating you just flip it on
- 45:08You sure that?
- 45:12No, I'm not sure. I'm not sure that I know
- 45:17Launcher on the land, of course, you can't just turn it on expect it to surf across the cornfield
- 45:23Well, yes, but you can't do that in the water either
- 45:26Of course you can in the water it can be sitting there for then
- 45:30Then why does the Navy go to such great lengths to shoot them out of the vertical launch system
- 45:42I don't think they have to do much at all
- 45:44You just told me yourself that all they do is just they just squirt them out the side of the boat
- 45:49That's not what I said. I said they are all launched from a ship
- 45:54You described it specifically
- 45:56There's a little thing in the boat that squirts them out of the boat after that the fan kicks on and they take off
- 46:02No, no, no, no. No, that's not they're not underwater except on a submarine and even there
- 46:08They have to go through a torpedo boot tube and be sure to get them
- 46:11You got to get them in suspense is the point if they're in the air
- 46:15So you got to have a launcher or they have to be on the top of the boat
- 46:20But if it's in the water if it's in a tube, I just heard you say it
- 46:25All it does is push it out the boat and it takes off on its own with the fan
- 46:29I that's not what I said. I said they have launchers on boats
- 46:34That they they are they are boat launch torpedo tubes. Yes
- 46:40Yes, and you don't just open a torpedo tube and the torpedo shoots itself
- 46:45It's got a launching system inside of there you go
- 46:48That's exactly right to get it out of the way from the boat
- 46:50and then the fan comes on after the after the the blades come out the fan comes on and it's gone and
- 46:58Ukraine has no such boat
- 47:01You don't need it. You start off the side
- 47:03So so just give Sam and a pile of row boats and we'll go up to the Nepper River. That's 200 feet deep
- 47:09We'll load my row boat right up. I'll row out to the middle and push it off the side and
- 47:17Who's gonna who's gonna target
- 47:20How you gonna target him?
- 47:27Once once you get him in suspense
- 47:30Then that's the shit we can do it from
- 47:33Here in the United States for that matter. Well, and that's the point. That's the whole point the US
- 47:42To do it
- 47:45You said the point was Ukraine's got no way to launch him
- 47:49I'm saying they don't if you can drop them if you get if you can throw them in the river
- 47:54We can handle it from there
- 47:56You get a pile of boats in the river with a bunch of missiles on them
- 48:02And I I don't believe they'll be long for this earth. I
- 48:06Agree with you, but you only need how long are these things like 20 feet long?
- 48:11I
- 48:11like 28 something like that, they're in a 40 foot they're in a 40-foot rail and I
- 48:19Think I might have the weight of them somewhere, but I don't recall
- 48:22I thought I heard you say they weigh a thousand pounds. I think that's I may have said that I know I said there
- 48:31Yeah, I think you know what you may be right but but I delete I closed that page and going back
- 48:39We put one on a pontoon boat in Lake Ozark and you can drop it out the back and tell the Pentagon, okay, we're good
- 48:49So Jr is ready to JR is already
- 48:52You're ready to get your pontoon and and have it airlifted into the Dnipper River
- 48:58I'll bet you there's already boats there. I bet you there aren't boats that have launch systems for the
- 49:06Launch system you got to have a couple guys who can throw it off the side of the boat or out the back or out
- 49:12The front of the boat. So why are we spending all this money on warships?
- 49:16I don't understand at all why we're spending hundreds of millions of dollars on warships
- 49:22We could have a flotilla of
- 49:26pontoon boats and all go out and just throw out missiles and we would be just as successful as that way you're saying
- 49:33That would not be efficient
- 49:37So it's more efficient to spend hundreds of millions of dollars
- 49:41Well, yeah, you have to protect
- 49:43There's a lot of things
- 49:44There's nothing protecting a pontoon boat for sure if you and me are out there shoving this off the front of the pontoon boat
- 49:50This is guerrilla warfare and in Kiev at this point, right? Oh
- 49:57I don't know about that
- 49:59you you launch somehow you launch a
- 50:03What would it be called?
- 50:06What is it called whatever the Tomahawk if you launch a Tomahawk and you happen to hit Moscow even
- 50:13Accidentally, it's a whole new dynamic
- 50:17You think so, huh?
- 50:20Yeah, actually that's not why I called I was curious if you had an opinion on the new Pentagon press
- 50:31Requirements
- 50:31They have to fill out like a 20-page report now, didn't they say they were going to ignore them completely?
- 50:38Every network has said we're not doing it except one and that's television number five
- 50:43They went ahead and signed it and said we're in
- 50:47They said we are in
- 50:49Yeah, OPM said yeah, they signed theirs already. In fact tonight was the deadline and
- 50:55So nobody's gonna be allowed in anymore. Is that right?
- 50:57Is what
- 51:00So they'll be the only ones
- 51:03Nobody else signed it. Nobody not even Newsmax Newsmax Fox ABC CNN
- 51:09Washington Times and they're opposing nobody only and was the only one
- 51:13What were all the questions?
- 51:17What were the questions? Well, it mostly had to do with
- 51:20Just anything you report
- 51:23You're gonna have to have us sign off on you're not just gonna
- 51:27Meander the halls. You'll have to be guided around here. Just like every other base on planet Earth
- 51:33and so nobody can report from the
- 51:38Yeah, that's right First Amendment, oh my god First Amendment, yeah. Yeah, but nobody has to allow you into the Pentagon
- 51:51Do they will
- 51:53Now you after starting tomorrow you will
- 51:56No, no, no. No, I'm saying that it's not wouldn't you I mean everything they do in Missouri is oh, no, that's a privilege
- 52:04It's not a right. So I'm saying it's not a right to go into the Pentagon
- 52:08Correct. You know, I can't just when I had a military ID. I went into the Pentagon on a regular basis when I was
- 52:16stationed in Washington DC
- 52:18And you weren't you didn't have a press pass but I didn't have a press pass and
- 52:23Today, even though I'm a veteran and I have an ID card. I got all that stuff
- 52:30There ain't no way I'd just be able to wander in to the Pentagon. Well, the press has been
- 52:37Wow
- 52:38And that's it until tonight at midnight. Well, I doubt they will be tomorrow then
- 52:43Well
- 52:45Yeah, it's it's a whole different deal. They're saying hey, this is a matter of national security, which Trump's the First Amendment is what the argument is
- 52:54Trump Trump's the First Amendment
- 52:57They say yeah national security. You can't just come in here and walk out of here without
- 53:02Letting us sign off on what you're what story you're writing or what you're gonna run and and I'm telling you man
- 53:08all these news medias are like
- 53:10Going ain't shit over it. They're like no way. This is this ain't right. How are we supposed to?
- 53:17How are we supposed to report what's going on and how do you know what's going on these are everybody's always a
- 53:25Confidential source
- 53:28Exactly my point no more confidential sources, you know
- 53:33That doesn't work in many other countries
- 53:36I mean pick pick pick a friend try that in Israel
- 53:46Yeah, but First Amendment doesn't allow you to get on to Fort Hood, Texas either
- 53:52You know, you don't just get a wander on because you got a press pass
- 53:59Yeah, I know that but I mean it's it's it's a still a military base
- 54:05Right, well, well what we haven't realized basically our whole entire lives is
- 54:10Is once you get the press pass you you've had pretty as long as you're like recognized
- 54:15It was been very very very lax at the Pentagon
- 54:19over the past however many decades and now
- 54:22Sec def Hegseth is like nope that ends today
- 54:27No, no, no more. It's a matter of national security from now on and everybody's screaming First Amendment except OAN
- 54:35They say hey, where are we sign?
- 54:40I'll go sign. I have a press pass
- 54:44I'll go sign up and say let me in I will tell only what you want me to say. How about that?
- 54:57I don't know. I I got I
- 55:00I have mixed feelings on that. First of all, I I agree that that there ought to be
- 55:07If you have an oppressed conference in the Pentagon, then people should be allowed in to
- 55:14to
- 55:16Go to the presser, right?
- 55:18But it should be very
- 55:22Formal you remember when you had to sign for me to go to
- 55:27Bricks
- 55:28Bricks conference, right? That's a big deal. You don't just get in to the to the place where foreign leaders are gonna be meeting
- 55:37or
- 55:38having
- 55:40Meetings with important people even if you're a journalist in most other countries
- 55:44It's not that they're trying to stop you from saying one thing or another
- 55:49It's that they want to know who's coming in because they're gonna you know
- 55:54I think if you go from that point of view because the analysis on a legal on a legal basis in
- 56:01Missouri and everywhere else and and whether so let's take a quick a run down a legal platform here if
- 56:08somebody sues the Trump White House or the Trump Pentagon because they can't get in on
- 56:15First Amendment grounds and the Pentagon says well, no, we're not we're not
- 56:21limiting what you can say
- 56:24we're limiting who can get in to have access to this secure facility and
- 56:31That person has to be allowed in in order to do it
- 56:35we don't give a crap what you say once you once you come in and are allowed in to
- 56:41Discuss, but if you're saying that the Trump White House is saying you we got to approve what you print before you print it. I
- 56:51Don't think that will hold up under the Supreme Court First Amendment scrutiny
- 57:03Well, I
- 57:04Say good luck. Here comes another lawsuit toward the Trump White House if it's based on that if it's based on
- 57:11You know where you get it be when you hear them
- 57:17Feel free to I may look into it
- 57:22ask your your favorite AI to define the
- 57:26the
- 57:27Conflict there with the new Pentagon press rules
- 57:31The new Pentagon press really amazing for me to see that, you know Newsmax and Fox are like no
- 57:38We got a problem with this Trump
- 57:40That's shocking. I mean, that's that's a that's a new dynamic. They usually almost always. Yeah, if Trump says it, let's do it
- 57:46Well, I haven't been a yes Trump said it let's do it for a while and
- 57:53But I'm generally supportive of the old
- 58:07Yeah, but it's not national security if it's just a press conference
- 58:13Depends on what you're coming in to do if you're coming in to clandestinely meet with somebody just go clandestinely meet him at his house
- 58:27Right exactly, that's what I'm saying
- 58:31You probably move about from the way I understand it
- 58:35You're you're basically free to move about the halls and talk to anybody you want to and that's what sect-f
- 58:40I accept is clamping down on
- 58:43So you can't just wander around you can only be in specified areas
- 58:50Why don't you ask your chat GPT or your grok or whoever
- 58:56To explain the situation here. It shouldn't take but a second. Well, I can't talk to it and I don't like typing
- 59:06I'll look into it tomorrow for you. That'll be fine
- 59:08Clackety-clack give it the oh, yeah, I can't see you can't type. I mean, you know, I've just plenty of
- 59:17Negative cell phones with a flashlight on it. I need something. It's
- 59:24It's but that's a good topic I am interested in that I may have to dig in
- 59:30All right, brother as you were I appreciate having you you have a very good day or evening and there he goes
- 59:42Where is he now?
- 59:44He is gone
- 59:46He has departed henceforth into the wilderness and we believe it shall be well with him
- 59:54Although I still think he's a bit loopy on the idea of just taking a bunch of pontoon boats
- 1:00:02flotillas to Ukraine and
- 1:00:05Pushing them over the edge, especially when you only can get 20 to 50. I
- 1:00:12Very well in that in that regard
- 1:00:19Let us see. I
- 1:00:22Wanted to go through the budget and see what these goons were talking about
- 1:00:29as far as
- 1:00:31Throwing more money at a losing battle
- 1:00:36so the Senate's National Defense
- 1:00:40Authorization Act for fiscal year 2026 and the Armed Services Committee bill extending
- 1:00:49USAID what is it you us you couldn't where's my piece of paper? Oh
- 1:00:55I have a piece of paper here because there's so many acronyms. I was losing my mind
- 1:01:04So I said I got to write these down because there's so many
- 1:01:08Ukraine money trains and the first one is called the Ukraine
- 1:01:14security assistance
- 1:01:16Initiative and it is from the Department of Defense
- 1:01:22Funding funding line that buys weapons and services for Ukraine
- 1:01:30Congress this is Congress and
- 1:01:33What they're after
- 1:01:35for the
- 1:01:36For the
- 1:01:39USAI Ukraine security assistance initiative
- 1:01:44through
- 1:01:452028 the authorization is going up to
- 1:01:50500 million
- 1:01:51Dollars, there we go again
- 1:01:54There goes another half a billion. That's the Senate the Senate appropriations
- 1:02:01This is different not the Defense Authorization Act. This is Senate appropriations
- 1:02:05This is a GOP led panel that is advancing the fiscal year 2026 defense bill with
- 1:02:111 billion for Ukraine
- 1:02:14800 million would be
- 1:02:16the
- 1:02:18Ukraine security assistance initiative and
- 1:02:23Then other lines in fact there and this they're doing despite Trump
- 1:02:28administration's request to eliminate Ukraine aid in that specific bill
- 1:02:34Then the house let's go to the house for fiscal year 26 National Defense Authorization Act the house kept
- 1:02:43Ukraine security assistance initiative lower their committees put it around 400 to 500 million
- 1:02:50Which you know the Senate and the house are going to agree right about this 500 million
- 1:02:55but the Democrats summary shows 400 million that's been adopted already in the markup and
- 1:03:01Then stand alone more money for Ukraine
- 1:03:05This is the Senate
- 1:03:07Senate bill
- 1:03:092592 supporting Ukraine act of 2025 by Shaheen and Murkowski they propose get this
- 1:03:1730 billion dollars
- 1:03:21For Department of Defense split 15 billion
- 1:03:25Ukraine security assistance initiative and 15 billion for replenishment of what's been
- 1:03:31Taken so far what's disappeared so far
- 1:03:34plus 3 billion
- 1:03:36something called
- 1:03:37FMF foreign military
- 1:03:41Financing that helps partners by u.s. Arms. How about that so we?
- 1:03:48Fund arms for them in a loan that they got to pay back. That's not what Trump said
- 1:03:54Trump said that we're gonna make them buy arms and what they do with them after that we don't care. That's not what's here and
- 1:04:02It credits u.s. Military aid as a capital contribution
- 1:04:06to the new
- 1:04:08US Ukraine
- 1:04:09Reconstruction investment fund so they introduced that one that was introduced in July
- 1:04:152025 and that one is in committee and the house has house resolution
- 1:04:212913 the Ukraine support act
- 1:04:24Meeks it's stuck in committees the Democrats have filed a discharge
- 1:04:29Petition to force it to the floor. They want more money for Ukraine
- 1:04:34And they're all out there trying to get it. How much has the u.s. Already?
- 1:04:42Appropriated right the u.s. Government's official oversight portal says we have
- 1:04:48given
- 1:04:51187 billion dollars in total appropriations
- 1:04:57tied to
- 1:04:58operation
- 1:05:00Atlantic resolve and the Ukraine response through fiscal year
- 1:05:052024 which comprises five Ukraine supplemental acts from
- 1:05:112022 to 2024 plus other agency funds within that the April
- 1:05:172024 security supplement included
- 1:05:2061 billion
- 1:05:22for Ukraine part of the 95 billion foreign aid package
- 1:05:28Unbelievable, so Biden versus Trump. What was approved under whom?
- 1:05:34under President Biden February 22 to January 2025
- 1:05:39Congress passed those five supplements remember
- 1:05:42Cumulating in April 24
- 1:05:4561 billion the DoD
- 1:05:48executed dozens of PDA drawdowns and
- 1:05:52US AI contracts Patriot missiles naysayers missiles attack comes missiles
- 1:05:57artillery, etc and under President Trump
- 1:06:022025
- 1:06:03January to the president the admin
- 1:06:07Shifted emphasis toward Europeans funding u.s. Weapons for Ukraine, right via NATO's
- 1:06:14prioritized Ukraine
- 1:06:16Requirement list that is P URL, but Congress moved on baseline
- 1:06:23Ukraine security assistance initiative 500 million from the
- 1:06:33Senate and 400 million from the house and
- 1:06:36Appropriations with 1 billion in Senate appropriations still more
- 1:06:41admin level actions
- 1:06:42resumed limited money and
- 1:06:45brokered green and grin
- 1:06:48Can't talk green lit Patriot backfield deals with allies
- 1:06:52Trump and Zelensky have discussed long-range options including tomahawks, but no
- 1:06:57public green light yet
- 1:07:01Then remember all the talk about Patriots and they've all disappeared basically there are very few Patriots
- 1:07:07Remaining in Ukraine. They've all been blown the hell up
- 1:07:11How many batteries are actually in Ukraine right now?
- 1:07:18Open source tallies consistently say that there may be as many as
- 1:07:24six or seven
- 1:07:27Operational Patriot batteries in Ukraine as of mid
- 1:07:312025 they have mix of full batteries and component sets donors include the US and Germany
- 1:07:39multiple each
- 1:07:40Romania one full system the Netherlands launchers and radar and Spain has provided Patriot missiles
- 1:07:48And what is pledged in?
- 1:07:502025
- 1:07:52US and Germany plan
- 1:07:54July of 2025 the US and Germany announced up to five additional Patriot systems for Ukraine a
- 1:08:02Mix of intermediate. I'm sorry immediate German transfers and the US backfilling German transfer
- 1:08:09Germany later specified only two would arrive by the end of 2025
- 1:08:14Several European deliveries are trying to be accelerated and some partners have accepted delay to their own orders as
- 1:08:22backfill
- 1:08:23Romanian battery Parliament approved
- 1:08:26donation in September 2024 and it was delivered in October 2024 the
- 1:08:33Ukraine relief in European funding the Netherlands became the first to buy
- 1:08:39500 million of a US kit for Ukraine
- 1:08:43including
- 1:08:44Patriot components
- 1:08:46under the first pearl mechanism for NATO
- 1:08:50so the money
- 1:08:52The money train is still
- 1:08:55chugging down the track
- 1:08:58Production and sustainment money for the Patriot industry ramp on Boeing just won a 2.7 billion dollar
- 1:09:06contract
- 1:09:07For pac-3 interceptors without put targets of up to 750 a year for 2030
- 1:09:15Lockheed landed a separate 9.6 billion production
- 1:09:20award last month and
- 1:09:24179
- 1:09:26Point one was awarded for Patriot sustainment for Ukraine on August 29th
- 1:09:352025 so 179 million for Patriots
- 1:09:38The bottom line for Patriots Ukraine sits at about six or seven batteries that are in service now
- 1:09:44allegedly
- 1:09:46Oh crap
- 1:09:48Where'd it go?
- 1:09:50With additional batteries slated for u.s. Germany blah blah blah and missile interceptor production
- 1:09:55Surging if they can call it that under multi-year
- 1:09:59Contracts, so they're expecting this to go on for a while
- 1:10:03So the Tomahawks how many and what funding so multiple outlets
- 1:10:07citing briefings to the Financial Times say the u.s. Can spare only
- 1:10:1220 to 50 Tomahawks for Ukraine a token number
- 1:10:17very unlikely to change battlefield dynamics absent large
- 1:10:22numbers of missiles and
- 1:10:25Mobile launchers, but no formal transfer has been announced on the ground launcher side the Typhon is operational
- 1:10:32But nothing else is there we talked about all that red already
- 1:10:36What's still being provided the high-level stuff our Patriots?
- 1:10:41batteries launchers and missiles
- 1:10:43NASAMS launchers and missiles iris-t hawk patriot they remain the only widely deployed Western
- 1:10:51system able to get past Russian ballistic missiles in Ukraine service and
- 1:10:58Continued focus here is gun. You know it'll continue with both the
- 1:11:04Ukraine security assistance and
- 1:11:06this NATO
- 1:11:09funded buying
- 1:11:11and long-range
- 1:11:12ongoing artillery and rocket munitions are in serious
- 1:11:21shortage
- 1:11:22From the Ukrainian side and Russia's producing literally ten times more than Ukraine is
- 1:11:30all of NATO together u.s.. Everybody is
- 1:11:34it's
- 1:11:35for
- 1:11:38Artillery shells
- 1:11:41Not not going well on the Ukraine side
- 1:11:45I watched quite a few of the because I haven't watched in a couple of weeks, and I
- 1:11:50Got on and watched some of the lines of
- 1:11:56The front that have shifted over the last couple of weeks, and it's
- 1:12:02It's still not good for Ukraine. It's gonna be cold freakin winter
- 1:12:08Let's do a quick
- 1:12:10Biden versus Trump ledger right he had five Ukrainian supplements
- 1:12:17Trump has this
- 1:12:20Funding at least he's
- 1:12:22Trying to save the Americans a little bit of money. I guess although. I really don't
- 1:12:28Necessarily see it that way
- 1:12:34Because I believe he's gonna sign these if he's given these these bills that show some
- 1:12:41Some more money what I really wanted to do was get a Ukraine
- 1:12:46Note card on funding because I already have the active and the standalones
- 1:12:52and what's been approved and all the Patriots and Tomahawks and
- 1:12:58You know Lindsey Graham out there crying for more
- 1:13:01You know we got to have some more, but I thought it would be interesting to go and try to find out
- 1:13:08the country by country
- 1:13:11annual aid
- 1:13:12At least since 2022 and
- 1:13:17there's a place called the
- 1:13:18keel
- 1:13:20Institute and they have a keel Institute Ukraine support tracker another acronym for you
- 1:13:28UST it is the
- 1:13:31authoritative public data set that breaks out military financial and
- 1:13:38humanitarian commitments by donor country and
- 1:13:42by
- 1:13:43Time you can do it monthly, but I don't want monthly. I'd prefer yearly it covers
- 1:13:5041 donors
- 1:13:53all EU members
- 1:13:54individually
- 1:13:56Plus the u.s.. The UK Canada Norway Japan
- 1:14:01Australia South Korea Turkey
- 1:14:04Switzerland Thailand and the EU separately as a separate donor the latest update
- 1:14:11Was today October 14th
- 1:14:15that
- 1:14:16includes data through August of 2025 and they have it where you can download
- 1:14:23the
- 1:14:25entire spreadsheet
- 1:14:28And I did that but I couldn't print it out. It's so big
- 1:14:34It's pretty huge and so they have this also
- 1:14:38Data tracker that you can do an XLS download at the keel Institute and so
- 1:14:46what I really wanted to do was just get more of a
- 1:14:55Global I
- 1:14:56Don't know and global is not right either more of a
- 1:14:59high level or a macro sort of thing that would say yeah, I can't I can't open it on on the
- 1:15:11Studio computer well, it won't work and
- 1:15:14And I it won't automatically
- 1:15:17Here's a support tracker
- 1:15:21here
- 1:15:22Download the new data because you can download it. It's really it's really kind of cool. How'd they do it?
- 1:15:28I don't like the politics of it all but
- 1:15:32government support to Ukraine by month in
- 1:15:36billions of euros
- 1:15:38Right and
- 1:15:40this is I
- 1:15:43Mean troubling by month. We're talking about January through March of 2022
- 1:15:52the u.s. Was at about 2 billion and
- 1:15:58Europe was at about
- 1:16:007 then the u.s.
- 1:16:02I mean these numbers went huge and now if you go through January to March of
- 1:16:092025 the u.s. Dropped
- 1:16:12Dramatically in this keel
- 1:16:14This keel Institute. It's down to 500 million, right?
- 1:16:18but in the last part of 2024 it was
- 1:16:2327 billion and
- 1:16:27now typically
- 1:16:28Ukraine monthly is getting and this is monthly
- 1:16:31I'm telling you these numbers that this this now you're seeing Europe putting up
- 1:16:3618 did it was 20 billion from April through June now, it's down to 10 billion
- 1:16:42I see it is dropping off a little bit that government support to Ukraine by country group and
- 1:16:50they have Europe in the United States between
- 1:16:53total
- 1:16:55177 plus 96 is about what?
- 1:16:59275 for
- 1:17:01For Europe and the u.s
- 1:17:04It only shows it aid to be allocated because this aid is still supposed to go shows
- 1:17:10114 billion by the United States and
- 1:17:15Then they have government support though and ours is
- 1:17:19Quite a bit higher not for military support, but government support. It's huge and
- 1:17:28Our our numbers are in the number of billions
- 1:17:32We've given 64 plus 46 a hundred and what does that make it about a hundred and ten hundred and fifteen?
- 1:17:40quick numbers
- 1:17:41Those are huge
- 1:17:43government support to Ukraine total bilateral allocations including EU aid
- 1:17:48Government support to Ukraine total aid with estimated refugee costs and the u.s. Is still way up on the top of that
- 1:17:55We're still given far more than
- 1:17:58Than everybody else. We're just not calling it military
- 1:18:02We're calling it everything else if you look at the data transparency index where they're stretching this
- 1:18:08The EU completely at five billion is all together
- 1:18:14These higher indexes by donor of people that you know, don't want to give up money versus people who are
- 1:18:21it's
- 1:18:24Greece
- 1:18:25Is it as is way down low? They don't want to give any money
- 1:18:29Romania doesn't South Korea Spain Bulgaria Turkey
- 1:18:34India are all down below
- 1:18:38You know, they don't want to
- 1:18:41They're giving it's a disclaimer, but it's basically saying it's a
- 1:18:46Transparency index of how much they are giving and these people aren't aren't allocating any budget support
- 1:18:53and so basically the way I see this Kiel Institute thing, it's like
- 1:18:59It's a shaming
- 1:19:01If your name's on here and you're not near the top of the list, you're shamed into going
- 1:19:05Oh, geez, you better come up with some more money. I
- 1:19:09think it's I think this war has been extremely costly and
- 1:19:14I think it needs to end and I think the way to end it is quit freaking funding it
- 1:19:19But oh, no, we will continue to fund, you know, it'll here. We got our idiot our idiot
- 1:19:27fearless leaders
- 1:19:28That are just going to continue to pump money
- 1:19:33into yet another rat hole of
- 1:19:37Ukraine
- 1:19:39Not much success coming out there
- 1:19:45Well, let's see
- 1:19:47Annual total 80 billion in 2022 80 billion 2023 80 billion in
- 1:19:542024 Europe versus US military. Here's military
- 1:20:0162 billion u.s. 64 billion Europe
- 1:20:052025 trend u.s. Is very slow. Europe is procuring more more
- 1:20:10I had my acronym list, but I'm not gonna read that to you. It's very dull and
- 1:20:15No entertainment at all
- 1:20:19Let's see, and I believe that now where were we
- 1:20:29Um
- 1:20:33The EU isn't at war with Russia. However, they continue to say
- 1:20:40We're not at war with Russia. We are just supporting Ukraine
- 1:20:46But we we hate Russia by the way European leaders are just you know
- 1:20:53Among other things this moment in history will be remembered whether in books whether in chapters
- 1:21:01Or forgotten footnotes as the great European drone scare
- 1:21:07because for weeks now the
- 1:21:09populations of NATO EU Europe have been subjected to a barrage of vague but scary
- 1:21:17reports about drone sightings
- 1:21:21The drones have appeared over various places
- 1:21:26prominently including airports in Denmark in Germany
- 1:21:30They are of unknown origin and unknown purpose
- 1:21:34They could be UFOs and quite often it is actually also unknown whether they're even real
- 1:21:41There are no pictures no proof. Indeed. There is no proof of Russia being responsible for any of these incidents as
- 1:21:51even Western media admits we're once again asked to simply trust our politicians and
- 1:21:58Quote experts
- 1:22:00That is the same ones who took months to stop pretending that Russia blew up its own Nord Stream pipelines in
- 1:22:072022 as late as spring of 2023
- 1:22:11Germany's Carlo masala for instance who also believes Gherkin and Strelkov are two different individuals just like
- 1:22:19well masala was still spreading groundless speculation a
- 1:22:24Conspiracy theory about a false flag attack by Russia on Nord Stream. So once again
- 1:22:32Russia Russia Russia
- 1:22:35an old coincidence of coincidences
- 1:22:38Recently Moscow as we are told has had nothing better to do than oblige Western
- 1:22:45information warriors with three further sort of incidents a purported electronic warfare attack on
- 1:22:53the plane of an EU
- 1:22:54despot and de facto u.s. Pro Consul Ursula von der Leyen over the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv an
- 1:23:03Alleged incursion into Estonian airspace and low flyovers over the German frigate Hamburg during recent
- 1:23:10NATO exercises in
- 1:23:13Reality these three stories share only one thing with the great drone saga
- 1:23:19They don't hold up to scrutiny
- 1:23:21The case of the alleged Plovdiv GBS attack is so shoddy and cratered so badly so quickly
- 1:23:28That it has been quickly forgotten the incursion into Estonian airspace didn't happen either
- 1:23:33Due to an agreement that Estonia itself signed in 94
- 1:23:37It cannot claim a 12-mile but only three mile zone in the relevant area
- 1:23:42Estonia's case is hysterical to begin with the
- 1:23:451994 agreement deprives it of even the flimsiest pretext of legality
- 1:23:52Regarding the so-called buzzing of the Hamburg
- 1:23:56Finally even Western military officials admit it was not imminently dangerous instead
- 1:24:02They say it was unfriendly and provocative
- 1:24:05frankly boo
- 1:24:06Freaking who what do you expect holding exercises on Russia's doorstep?
- 1:24:11While fighting an indirect war against it in Ukraine a friendly chat among sailors over a stiff grog and
- 1:24:20Yet everyone in NATO EU establishment politics and the mainstream media has been singing the same
- 1:24:27old song
- 1:24:28once again
- 1:24:30Russia is coming Russia is here Russia is everywhere the head of Germany's new spy agency
- 1:24:38the boon this
- 1:24:40Nachrichten sides
- 1:24:42Dines they said that wrong seems to believe that his job is not to do secret things quietly
- 1:24:48But to join the chorus of panic mongers. He also has sleepless visions of Russians attacking any day now
- 1:24:57Maybe from right under his bed or out of his cupboard one might say
- 1:25:02It is almost as if they are all reading from the same
- 1:25:07Hymnbook that is memo and of course the new wave of self-induced hyperventilation
- 1:25:14Has been milked for all its worth a lot as in billions of euros and yet more money to be spent on
- 1:25:22armaments including but not limited to a
- 1:25:26Drone wall while ordinary people are subjected to ever more brutal austerity even more disturbingly
- 1:25:32There's clear drive to concentrate ever more power with those same political
- 1:25:37Establishments that can't stop ruling by fright and confusing their own
- 1:25:42citizens
- 1:25:44That the drone stories are already crumbling makes no difference a dramatic French attempt
- 1:25:52Special forces at all to pin nefarious drone activity on a tanker for instance has failed miserably in
- 1:26:00Germany a recent sighting has actually been cleared up quickly the culprit a hapless German drone amateur
- 1:26:08Who is living under a rock?
- 1:26:12That's funny and perish the thought that Ukraine itself might have anything to do with these mystery drones
- 1:26:18Its regime has plenty of motive and by now even the West has been compelled to acknowledge. It is perfectly capable
- 1:26:26Ukraine that is of massive sabotage
- 1:26:29operations and lies to manipulate its European backers
- 1:26:34Because that is now even the official story of the Nord Stream attack
- 1:26:42Instead let's pretend that we know that we what we don't know Russia Russia Russia and start
- 1:26:50Overreacting again based on our ignorance and panic
- 1:26:54at best on a malevolent
- 1:26:57Deliberate strategy of cognitive warfare
- 1:27:01against our own countries in
- 1:27:03Germany for instance both Chancellor Friedrich Mertz and defense minister Boris
- 1:27:09Pistorius have made the bizarre claim that while the country is not at war
- 1:27:14It is also no longer at peace and the Russians are coming head of the BND
- 1:27:21he feels the current peace is icy at best and
- 1:27:25Could turn into heated confrontation at any moment
- 1:27:30What is that supposed to mean? Is there a backhanded admission?
- 1:27:35Finally that Germany has made a deliberate and off awfully self-harming choice to fight Russia through Ukraine
- 1:27:43Hmm we wonder
- 1:27:45We have noticed that how about you our supposed leaders stop playing with fire. I
- 1:27:53Tend to like that article
- 1:27:58Consequences, I don't understand that word though. It's a German word. So basically
- 1:28:04Are these fear-mongering statements meant to prepare the ground for a concrete power grab?
- 1:28:10That is what Roderick Kiesel whiter an ultra russophobe and war
- 1:28:15Fanaticist from Mertz's own center-right CDU party has already suggested. He wants to German
- 1:28:22Parliament to declare the so-called
- 1:28:26Spannungsfall literally
- 1:28:28situation of tension in the mainstream media
- 1:28:32For instance the important newspaper wealth the usual information warriors are already
- 1:28:38Amplifying his message and yet another striking coincidence in a recent military
- 1:28:45Exercise in Hamburg one of Germany's busy cities was dedicated to
