Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: All last week we were giving away tickets to see
- 0:02Speaker 1: Louis Tomlinson, who is one of the guys in the
- 0:06Speaker 1: One Direction band. He's gone solo and he's you know,
- 0:08Speaker 1: a pretty big star. We're giving away tickets and then
- 0:10Speaker 1: we're given away the opportunity to interview him. And the
- 0:15Speaker 1: winner was a woman named Unique and she was a
- 0:20Speaker 1: huge fan and she got the interview him yesterday and
- 0:23Speaker 1: if you go to Instagram, you can see the video
- 0:26Speaker 1: of her sitting down, like here's a little clip of
- 0:28Speaker 1: the interview.
- 0:29Speaker 2: The way that you view your fans as one whole
- 0:31Speaker 2: being other than just individuals. I heard you mentioned that
- 0:34Speaker 2: in your Zamo interview and I was just so profound
- 0:36Speaker 2: to think of it that way. And so I just
- 0:38Speaker 2: want to say that we appreciate and love you for,
- 0:40Speaker 2: you know, viewing us as one whole being.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I think, I think, truthfully, that's the only real
- 0:45Speaker 3: way for me to kind of understand the whole relationship
- 0:49Speaker 3: because it's so important to me, but you know, it's
- 0:52Speaker 3: it's a relationship that extends to so many different people.
- 0:55Speaker 3: So I think for my own self, yeah, it's just
- 0:57Speaker 3: nicer to feel like I've always got that friend around
- 1:00Speaker 3: and that stops me finance as a whole.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Really, that was amazing unique. Are you there?
- 1:05Speaker 4: Yes, I'm here.
- 1:07Speaker 1: You did a great job, so professional.
- 1:10Speaker 5: Thank you, Thank you so much for the chance to
- 1:12Speaker 5: do that.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It was amazing. I mean, what a great like question
- 1:15Speaker 1: you asked, like I would have been. I mean, if
- 1:17Speaker 1: I ever met someone that I'm like super fan about,
- 1:19Speaker 1: I geek out and I talk too fast and I'm
- 1:21Speaker 1: going to like you were just like you look like
- 1:23Speaker 1: you're Oprah doing it. They're like you've done a million times.
- 1:27Speaker 6: I mean, you know, I kind of had about fourteen
- 1:28Speaker 6: years of being a fan to set for this.
- 1:30Speaker 4: So I think I was ready.
- 1:32Speaker 1: So how was the concert?
- 1:34Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, it was absolutely insane.
- 1:36Speaker 6: The energy was unmatched. It was a phenomenal performance.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I'm so, so so grateful to have been able a
- 1:43Speaker 1: chance to go. Did you interview him before the concert
- 1:45Speaker 1: or after?
- 1:47Speaker 4: Before the concert?
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yeah, so there's that if you go to our instagram
- 1:50Speaker 1: one O four to seven Kiss FM Instagram and you
- 1:52Speaker 1: can see the video. I think is when you first
- 1:54Speaker 1: when you first meet him and he comes walking out
- 1:56Speaker 1: like he was so great, The way he runs over
- 1:58Speaker 1: to you and hugs you and stuff.
- 1:59Speaker 6: No, I wasn't gonna go for a handshake, but you
- 2:03Speaker 6: went for the hut.
- 2:03Speaker 4: I was like, this, is you better?
- 2:05Speaker 7: Right right on? Are you still spinning from that moment?
- 2:07Speaker 7: Does it feel real?
- 2:10Speaker 6: No?
- 2:11Speaker 5: Waking up this morning, I was just kind of like,
- 2:13Speaker 5: that wasn't a dream.
- 2:14Speaker 6: I looked at my hand with the wristband and I'm like, oh.
- 2:16Speaker 7: Yeah, I know that was not a dream.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Well, congratulations, did a great job. We just wanted to
- 2:21Speaker 1: check out with you and see how I went.
- 2:22Speaker 8: Oh no, thank you guys again so much.
- 2:24Speaker 6: I really appreciate it the opportunity.
- 2:25Speaker 1: It was amazing. You got it. Thanks for listening to you. Nick,
- 2:28Speaker 1: have a great day you too. That's very cool. Well,
- 2:31Speaker 1: speaking of artists, we got tickets to five seconds of Summer,
- 2:34Speaker 1: like in thirty five minutes or so thirty five minutes.
- 2:37Speaker 1: We also got your share two hundred fifty thousand dollars,
- 2:40Speaker 1: like in less than four minutes. But first, something happened
- 2:43Speaker 1: to Peyton that I think is a really really big
- 2:48Speaker 1: moment in your life. Right, yeah, huge, what what is it?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Let's just share it.
- 2:52Speaker 9: Well, I paid off my car for the first time ever.
- 2:56Speaker 9: There we go, yep, I no longer have a car
- 2:59Speaker 9: payment that I have to do every month.
- 3:01Speaker 10: I feel like a free woman.
- 3:02Speaker 7: That's so great, I know, right, that's such a major accomplishment.
- 3:06Speaker 10: I think that I feel that way too.
- 3:07Speaker 9: I feel like it's something that's so small, but it
- 3:10Speaker 9: really does feel so big because it wasn't a small loan.
- 3:14Speaker 10: That I had.
- 3:15Speaker 7: You know, no, I don't think it's something so small
- 3:17Speaker 7: and hard work. Yeah, that's how long?
- 3:20Speaker 1: How long did you have the car? And how long
- 3:22Speaker 1: have they been making payments on this car? Because I
- 3:24Speaker 1: think you've had two cars since you've been here, mat
- 3:25Speaker 1: three cars.
- 3:26Speaker 10: I've had two cars. Yeah.
- 3:28Speaker 9: I started the show with my high school car that
- 3:29Speaker 9: I had for like ten years and it broke down
- 3:31Speaker 9: on me. I've had it for about two and a
- 3:33Speaker 9: half years, and I paid it off within the two
- 3:36Speaker 9: and a half years. But I didn't make any like
- 3:38Speaker 9: extra payments or anything. I had a pretty big down
- 3:40Speaker 9: payment on in the first place.
- 3:42Speaker 10: But yeah, two and a half.
- 3:44Speaker 7: Years of getting that, she's all yours.
- 3:46Speaker 10: Now it's all mine.
- 3:47Speaker 7: What are the chances of you keeping it clean now?
- 3:49Speaker 10: Uh? Slim?
- 3:53Speaker 7: I've walked by it. I don't want to look inside anymore.
- 3:55Speaker 1: It makes me well, let me tell you this. I
- 3:59Speaker 1: have never paid off a car. I'm still making payments
- 4:00Speaker 1: in my car. Yeah, so I've never done that before.
- 4:03Speaker 1: You've done something I've never done before, never paid it
- 4:05Speaker 1: off ever, like I'm making payments. In fact, I'm probably
- 4:08Speaker 1: upside down on my car. Never. I bought my first car.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I bought for twelve hundred dollars and I made payments
- 4:14Speaker 1: for three years in that car.
- 4:18Speaker 7: Wait, is that the one that got repaid?
- 4:19Speaker 1: No, I haven't had a car get repod too. No,
- 4:21Speaker 1: that was another car. My first car was an old
- 4:24Speaker 1: Honda Civic and it was I love that car. But anyway,
- 4:28Speaker 1: so congratulations to you.
- 4:29Speaker 7: That's never done.
- 4:30Speaker 1: There is a story online when the reason I'm glad
- 4:32Speaker 1: we're bringing this up is a survey asked people to
- 4:35Speaker 1: rank and name the biggest modern status symbols. Let's say
- 4:40Speaker 1: you've really made it in life. Okay, okay, so believe
- 4:44Speaker 1: it or not. Paying off your car is not on here,
- 4:45Speaker 1: but I think it should be. I think it should.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I think that's an amazing accomplishment for sure. Congratulation, I
- 4:50Speaker 1: mean massive congratulations to you. So eight seven seven, nine
- 4:54Speaker 1: three seven one oh four seven. Let's see if you
- 4:57Speaker 1: can guess what. What's a what's a modern day status symbol?
- 5:00Speaker 7: Getting a degree?
- 5:01Speaker 1: One?
- 5:01Speaker 7: Getting getting your college degree? That should be up there,
- 5:04Speaker 7: no ways out there. Pick people are against that nowadays.
- 5:07Speaker 7: I would just see that.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I would just see all that sound bus get it
- 5:09Speaker 1: on youtubel. Yeah, getting your degree is not up here.
- 5:14Speaker 7: Really an outside fridge, oh man, that's that's stellar. I
- 5:19Speaker 7: don't have one of them.
- 5:20Speaker 10: A drink refrigerator.
- 5:22Speaker 7: I don't have a drink refrigerator.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Hold on, Payton, hold on a second, hold on, In
- 5:25Speaker 1: other words, number ten on this This is a backyard with
- 5:27Speaker 1: an outdoor kitchen. Okay, so you set out door fridge. Yeah,
- 5:30Speaker 1: outdoor fridge now, okay, so that's number ten.
- 5:32Speaker 7: That's pretty big.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Eight seven seven nine three seven one o four seven
- 5:36Speaker 1: What okay? What has actually proven to be a modern
- 5:40Speaker 1: status symbol?
- 5:41Speaker 7: Okay? What about more than one gym membership? So you
- 5:44Speaker 7: belong to more than one place.
- 5:45Speaker 1: That's not on here. But that's good, you know.
- 5:47Speaker 7: So maybe you might have your you know, your orange theory,
- 5:49Speaker 7: but then you also have your chip.
- 5:50Speaker 1: All right, So we want to know what are the
- 5:51Speaker 1: biggest signs that you've made it in the world. Peyton
- 5:53Speaker 1: paid off our car which has nine gym memberships. I
- 5:56Speaker 1: just have that too. Your share of two hundred and fifty
- 5:58Speaker 1: thousand dollars could be yours in less than three minutes.
- 6:00Speaker 1: We're gonna play minute to win it also, but first
- 6:02Speaker 1: we're gonna do this. We're not gonna play minute win
- 6:04Speaker 1: until we get way past this. So what's a sign
- 6:06Speaker 1: that you made it? Anthony?
- 6:08Speaker 4: I would say having your own home, not even completely
- 6:13Speaker 4: paid off, just having your own home, you know what.
- 6:15Speaker 1: That's that's a really really good one. But that's not
- 6:17Speaker 1: on here either.
- 6:18Speaker 10: That should be for sure.
- 6:19Speaker 7: That's tough to do well.
- 6:20Speaker 1: That's not a modern that's not a modern status symbol.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Status right at least, well at least nowadays, Like with
- 6:28Speaker 4: like the younger generation, it's harder for us to to
- 6:31Speaker 4: get into that space of getting you know, a job
- 6:35Speaker 4: well enough where you can save up your down payment,
- 6:38Speaker 4: you can get approoved for loans and whatnot. And it's
- 6:41Speaker 4: it's a lot harder for like the younger generations to
- 6:43Speaker 4: get into that.
- 6:45Speaker 1: All right, Bro, thanks for calling in man, thanks for listening.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Appreciate Roxy. What do you guys do there? You made
- 6:52Speaker 1: it in life?
- 6:53Speaker 6: Good morning? My thing is if you're if you don't
- 6:57Speaker 6: need your paycheck, you know how much. So let's live
- 6:59Speaker 6: day check a pay and you pay bills with that paycheck.
- 7:01Speaker 7: But if your.
- 7:02Speaker 6: Paycheck hits and you're not using it, you put it
- 7:05Speaker 6: in savings. Because that's what I did recently. I felt
- 7:07Speaker 6: really really good. And by no means have I made
- 7:09Speaker 6: it in life, but because I still work, But that
- 7:12Speaker 6: felt good not to have to use that paycheck to
- 7:15Speaker 6: pay bill.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Okay. But here's the thing. This is modern signed or
- 7:20Speaker 1: modern status symbol. So let me go over some of
- 7:22Speaker 1: them with you, Roxy. Okay. Here for example, an electric vehicle.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Does anybody here at Kyle's got electric vehicle? She made it?
- 7:28Speaker 1: Designer clothing? Does anybody here have designer clothing?
- 7:32Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 7:32Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, they were all gifted. Okay, Roxy, Do you
- 7:36Speaker 1: have designer clothing?
- 7:38Speaker 7: I do?
- 7:39Speaker 1: Okay, so that's a sign you've made it. What about
- 7:41Speaker 1: a walk in closet? I wish a walk in closet?
- 7:45Speaker 1: Is there you go see rocky designer shoes?
- 7:50Speaker 6: Yes, I'm not big on that.
- 7:52Speaker 1: A hot tub or pool, even a cold plunge is
- 7:56Speaker 1: what it says on here? Yes, oh yes, you got that? Okay?
- 7:59Speaker 1: And at home, Sauna is on this list. Number three
- 8:03Speaker 1: on this list, I do not have, but I believe
- 8:06Speaker 1: you both of you have. Maybe Roxy the latest iPhone, yes.
- 8:11Speaker 10: But I don't have the latest latest one.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Which one do you have?
- 8:16Speaker 10: What's the most recent one?
- 8:17Speaker 1: The eighteen seventeen seventeen? You got it?
- 8:20Speaker 10: I got the most recent I have.
- 8:22Speaker 7: You're so bouchie, you don't even know that you have.
- 8:24Speaker 10: The post research said I need a camera and more storage.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Minds of fourteen a luxury handbag, sign that you made, Yes,
- 8:34Speaker 1: my Roxy, you so made it.
- 8:36Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:37Speaker 1: And number one, they say is a high end watch.
- 8:40Speaker 1: A high end watch is a sign you've made.
- 8:44Speaker 10: You don't see many watches lately.
- 8:45Speaker 7: I wear watches all the time. I don't wear an
- 8:47Speaker 7: Apple watch. I wear a watch watch. You were an
- 8:49Speaker 7: Apple watch. Do you have an Apple Watch? I have one,
- 8:51Speaker 7: but only where it like if I'm tracking something in
- 8:54Speaker 7: that moment, if you're working out, like right now, like
- 8:56Speaker 7: regular old watch.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Citizen, I don't wear a watch, Citizen.
- 8:59Speaker 7: Nicole drives.
- 9:00Speaker 9: I think I need to keep an eye out for
- 9:01Speaker 9: more people who have watched it. I think watch that's
- 9:03Speaker 9: like a really good pro tip for all my girls
- 9:05Speaker 9: out there.
- 9:05Speaker 10: Trying to bag a rich man, like just walk around.
- 9:07Speaker 9: If he's wearing a watch, watch, watch, he's probably got
- 9:10Speaker 9: some money in his pocket.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Roxy, what are you got going on to you? What
- 9:12Speaker 1: are you doing?
- 9:14Speaker 6: I am at work?
- 9:15Speaker 7: Actually, where do you work?
- 9:17Speaker 6: I work at Real Flato College. I'm in the middle
- 9:19Speaker 6: of the city in nineteenth and nord oppression safety addressed.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I'm at work too.
- 9:26Speaker 6: We have a great congratulations, Thank you guys.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Love you.
- 9:31Speaker 7: You just celebrate with a nice car wash into detail,
- 9:33Speaker 7: clean out that inside.
- 9:36Speaker 9: Actually, yeah, you're probably right. I probably should give her
- 9:38Speaker 9: some TLC. She needs an oil change as well, so
- 9:41Speaker 9: I'll do that.
- 9:42Speaker 1: We need a contestant for minute to win it eight
- 9:47Speaker 1: seven seven, nine three seven one oh four seven. And
- 9:50Speaker 1: while we wait for a minute to win it, Oh wait,
- 9:54Speaker 1: we got another status symbol. Hold on, okay, what's up, Josh?
- 9:57Speaker 1: What you got hey?
- 9:59Speaker 8: So, growing up, my parents had a full size tanning
- 10:03Speaker 8: bed in the basement and we always had like the
- 10:08Speaker 8: latest and greatest technology, which my sister and I didn't
- 10:12Speaker 8: really think anything crazy of it up until now when
- 10:15Speaker 8: we you know, we're in our thirties and forties, but
- 10:19Speaker 8: just at the time we didn't think there was anything
- 10:21Speaker 8: too special. But we're definitely, you know, more humble about
- 10:23Speaker 8: what we had back in the day.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yeah, full size tanning beds where you guys really can
- 10:27Speaker 1: and now the inside of your body are cooked.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Now.
- 10:32Speaker 7: We never used it.
- 10:33Speaker 8: It was primarily my mom or our mom and our dad,
- 10:35Speaker 8: but we weren't really allowed to use it because of
- 10:38Speaker 8: the unknown, you know, health risks. But yeah, we just
- 10:43Speaker 8: we kind of thought it was cool to have, didn't
- 10:45Speaker 8: really think much of it, but our friends always thought
- 10:47Speaker 8: we were like the rich family in the neighborhood, which
- 10:50Speaker 8: was completely opposite of that.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Well, thanks for calling in, Josh, Yeah, thank you.
- 10:57Speaker 7: I feel like when I grew up, anybody that had
- 10:59Speaker 7: more of the one bathroom, I thought they were loaded.
- 11:02Speaker 7: You mean your parents have a bathroom in their bedroom,
- 11:05Speaker 7: more than one bathroom to me with the biggest luxury.
- 11:09Speaker 1: So why we're gonna play minute to Winno, we need
- 11:11Speaker 1: a contestant. But while we're getting a contestant eight seven
- 11:13Speaker 1: seven nine three seven one four seven, couple things. I
- 11:16Speaker 1: don't know if you guys are watching any of this
- 11:17Speaker 1: stuff on TV, but I'm all caught up on Dutton Ranch.
- 11:19Speaker 7: Oh I'm still an episode behind it. It's really good.
- 11:22Speaker 7: It's really good. It's really good.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I actually feel that it's going a certain way to
- 11:28Speaker 1: mimic yellow Stone, like, well, that's okay, right, No, No,
- 11:33Speaker 1: it was a winning formula and then it got all
- 11:35Speaker 1: caught up with the Kevin Costner drama and he stepped out.
- 11:37Speaker 1: So now I think they're gonna have a net. Benning
- 11:39Speaker 1: is going to be the Kevin Costner person because now
- 11:41Speaker 1: Rip and Beth work for her. Oh why, I don't know,
- 11:44Speaker 1: if far, I don't know.
- 11:45Speaker 7: When it happened, well, I saw them pretty much lose everything.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Yeah, but now I feel like it's going to be
- 11:50Speaker 1: like that and then they're going to be a team.
- 11:51Speaker 1: But I may be off. But anyway, Also, have you
- 11:54Speaker 1: guys see this documentary? I don't know, it's on HBO.
- 11:56Speaker 1: It is so crazy because a HBO. It's this guy.
- 12:01Speaker 1: It's and I've only seen fifteen minutes of it. It's
- 12:05Speaker 1: this guy and I think he's like a Russian dude.
- 12:07Speaker 1: But he lives in Vegas. Is it Vegas? We think
- 12:10Speaker 1: about this. He's got this mansion and he solicits for
- 12:15Speaker 1: extremely overweight women that he loves them, wants to compliment them.
- 12:20Speaker 1: And they all come to his house and he he
- 12:25Speaker 1: massages them, loves them. I mean, it's a documentary. And
- 12:28Speaker 1: I started watching it and I positively I got sidetracked
- 12:30Speaker 1: to someone else. But then Grant texted me and was like,
- 12:32Speaker 1: are you watching this? You know how Grant is.
- 12:34Speaker 7: Yeah, So it goes, it goes sick at some point.
- 12:38Speaker 1: He does also the guy. The guy goes unhinged on
- 12:40Speaker 1: and like, you know, kidnaps them all. Oh there you go, yeah,
- 12:44Speaker 1: let me see. Let me tell you the name of it.
- 12:45Speaker 1: If you haven't seen you guys gotta well we got
- 12:49Speaker 1: a contestant right now. But but wait, I'm gonna I'm
- 12:51Speaker 1: open up my Oh I got a sign in that sucks.
- 12:54Speaker 7: This on HBO, I thought, so I did finish m
- 12:57Speaker 7: I A on Peacock. It's the acting is terrible, but
- 13:02Speaker 7: it's a good show. It's almost like it's almost like
- 13:04Speaker 7: a super violent, violent tele novella. That's what it is.
- 13:09Speaker 7: But the acting is so bad, and especially with the
- 13:11Speaker 7: lady who plays twins. She can't act as a regular actor.
- 13:14Speaker 7: So but she's having a fight. Yeah, no, I like her,
- 13:17Speaker 7: but she's not like it's bad.
- 13:19Speaker 1: It's called Big Girls Wanted big.
- 13:21Speaker 7: Girls want title.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I know you got to check it out. I'm telling
- 13:25Speaker 1: you guys to check it out.
- 13:26Speaker 7: You start watching the new uh the like the Survivor
- 13:29Speaker 7: rip off on Netflix, because yeah, that's pretty good. I'll
- 13:33Speaker 7: last on Netflix.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Sorry, Lindsay, good morning, good morning. What are you doing
- 13:38Speaker 1: right now?
- 13:39Speaker 5: I just got a ct done and I bought back
- 13:43Speaker 5: in the car, so I'm ready to play a minute.
- 13:45Speaker 3: To win it.
- 13:45Speaker 1: The ct IS is a like an MRI.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Uh yeah, kind of.
- 13:50Speaker 5: You go in the tube and but it's not as.
- 13:52Speaker 7: Long as an MRI doesn't make that noise that.
- 13:55Speaker 5: That no It took like two minutes.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Well we're getting see gone.
- 14:02Speaker 5: My chaz a pre Gastrik sleeve. You know you have
- 14:06Speaker 5: to do all the checkups. And last year they found
- 14:08Speaker 5: a nodule. I'm good, but now.
- 14:10Speaker 1: They want to like monitor it. Got it? Okay? Well,
- 14:13Speaker 1: good luck to you. We're praying for you, and we're
- 14:15Speaker 1: also praying for you that you get a thousand bucks here.
- 14:17Speaker 7: Will you please win this? We need somebody to win
