- 0:00That's tough. We're in a very tough spot.
- 0:03I think that what we're doing right now is a great benefit and
- 0:07virtue because it's an end around between this whole
- 0:10corrupt informational system, media system.
- 0:14We claim to believe in a God who spoke the universe into
- 0:17existence and literally raised himself from the dead, and yet
- 0:22we are not going to believe that anything else exists in the
- 0:25spirit realm, even though His word tells us that they do.
- 0:29Their bodies weren't permitted to go to sleep like humans do,
- 0:34and they weren't permitted to go to heaven, so they wander the
- 0:37earth. You know, I've seen the eyes
- 0:39turn black to unknown tongues being spoken.
- 0:44These giants would live way up in the highland.
- 0:47The young Braves, the young men would hide them in the trees and
- 0:50wait for one of these 12 footers to come walking down the path
- 0:53and they would jump on them and kill them, drag them back in the
- 0:56village, and the village would feast on the body.
- 1:04Then people start to get weapons, they start to get
- 1:06armor, they start to build cities, they start to fortify
- 1:08their cities. Now God looks down and there's
- 1:11violence everywhere. The battle, this war that we are
- 1:15at, is not against each other, it's against these
- 1:18principalities and these rulers and these archons in the high
- 1:21places. It's really worthwhile to read
- 1:23the Bible yourself. Fear is one of the primary
- 1:27drivers of mind control because we have to take every thought
- 1:31captive and resist fear. You're going to have a testimony
- 1:38that is a justice case against the Kingdom of darkness.
- 2:03All right, we praying first, are we?
- 2:05Yes, let's pray. OK Father, we just thank you for
- 2:09bandwidth. So grateful the signal came back
- 2:12up. Lord, we just pray in Jesus name
- 2:15for your angelic resources, your spiritual covering over tonight.
- 2:19We thank you for the blood of Jesus that covers both our lives
- 2:22and both of our families. And Lord, we just ask that you
- 2:26would send resources to deal with the things that we can't
- 2:29see or understand in the realm that we, we don't fully
- 2:33comprehend, but we know those resources are real.
- 2:36We know those resources are powerful.
- 2:38And so we just appeal to you, Lord, to just release your, your
- 2:42angels to work on our behalf or we, we just pray for your, your
- 2:46wisdom to cover both of us as we, as we talk and discuss.
- 2:50And, and Lord, I just pray Holy Spirit, most of all, you know,
- 2:54you would just counsel us and, and guide the conversation.
- 2:58And this is 2 friends talking. And but we're talking about
- 3:02something important and we're talking about the labor.
- 3:04You know, that's the heart and the labor and the prayer and all
- 3:07that's gone into to this and where it's going to go.
- 3:10And so, father, in Jesus name, every demonic resistance, every
- 3:15weapon of the enemy that's attempted to be formed, we just
- 3:18say has no place over us tonight over this ministry, over our
- 3:21families, we thank you, the blood of Jesus covers us and we
- 3:25thank you that that our our homes are marked with your blood
- 3:28and that blood is powerful. We thank you that the angels
- 3:32that guard the gateways and guard the space that we inhabit
- 3:36spiritually and physically are powerful and mighty and strong.
- 3:40And we just we, we thank you for their for their warfare over us.
- 3:43And Holy Spirit, we thank you your banner over us is love.
- 3:47And I just pray you cover us with your grace.
- 3:49Cover us, counsel us, guide us and let us enjoy this time in
- 3:52Jesus name. We offer it up to you as an
- 3:55offering Jesus name, Amen. Jesus mighty.
- 3:58Name Amen. Amen.
- 4:07All right. Nice to talk with you.
- 4:08My name is Paul Fowler. Welcome to the Millennial
- 4:11Mustard Seed podcast. I am normally here as a guest.
- 4:15This is my third time on the podcast, and I've got to say
- 4:18we're kind of switching things up a little bit.
- 4:21I'm actually going to be hosting tonight and we're going to be
- 4:24interviewing the founder of the podcast, Mr. Rod Smith, also the
- 4:28author of The Words are Salt, which you can find on Amazon.
- 4:31But Rod's been busy with lots of different things and we're going
- 4:35to talk with him a little bit tonight.
- 4:37And what we're going to do is we're going to deliver what we
- 4:40might consider a, a podcast State of the Union.
- 4:44Occasionally as a pastor, my elders and I, we will devote a
- 4:47Sunday and just talk about here's where we've been as a
- 4:50ministry, here's where we are now, and here's where we're
- 4:53headed. And here's the things that we're
- 4:54going to be doing in the future. And so it seemed appropriate to
- 4:58Rod that that we needed to devote an episode of the podcast
- 5:02to that. So again, my name is Paul
- 5:04Fowler. I'm a pastor in Texas.
- 5:06Normally, you hear me on the show talking about the days of
- 5:10Noah or transhumanism or what it means to be human.
- 5:13But tonight, I'm the host. And Mr. Rod Smith, you are the
- 5:17guest tonight. Welcome.
- 5:20It's fun to be on the other side of it.
- 5:23Well, you know, you need a break.
- 5:24Occasionally I'll I'll ask the questions and and you can
- 5:27answer. How about that?
- 5:28Love it man, this is good. Well, it's, I think one of the,
- 5:33the things that we enjoy about, you know, our kind of State of
- 5:36the Union addresses that the church is if, if people are new
- 5:39to us, then they get a little bit of our history.
- 5:43Sometimes they find out that our church is involved in things
- 5:45that maybe they didn't know about.
- 5:47Maybe it's a food program that we're hosting or sponsoring and,
- 5:50you know, we're a part of in our community.
- 5:52Or sometimes our mission efforts, you know, people may
- 5:56not know we're we're involved in church planning.
- 5:59We're doing all sorts of things in South America that that maybe
- 6:02they don't fully know what we're doing.
- 6:04So today is a day where we're going to pose a couple questions
- 6:08to Rod and just hear, really hear from his heart.
- 6:11What's on his heart about the ministry, where it's been and
- 6:14where it's going? And also celebrate some of the
- 6:17successes and the milestones of the podcast.
- 6:19So do you want to just lay a brief layout maybe for those
- 6:23that are relatively new to the podcast, How long you've been
- 6:25doing this, What it was like when you got started?
- 6:28As we kind of talk, even off air, it, it's been surreal for
- 6:32me lately because I've been reflecting, I've been looking
- 6:36back and when I started, I had no idea even how to use a
- 6:40computer. And I know that sounds weird as
- 6:42being a millennial, but I missed it.
- 6:45You know, I really did. Even with my wife I was I had a
- 6:50flip phone all the way up until 2016 and she argued me into like
- 6:54an iPhone 4 or something at the time.
- 6:57I don't want to go back to the flip phone sometimes, Rod, I
- 6:58don't mind. I don't mind telling you, but
- 7:00yeah. Yeah, now that I know what I
- 7:02know, it's like, it wasn't so bad.
- 7:05I guess I was stubborn for the right reasons.
- 7:07But I've been doing, you know, this podcast, you know, started
- 7:10in 2020. March was the first publicly
- 7:13released episode. The planning was almost a year.
- 7:16It was more of a wrestling match with insecurity and doubt and
- 7:21what God told me the name was. I thought it was corny in the
- 7:25beginning. It's like everyone loves it now.
- 7:27Just reflecting, you know. This was your first podcast.
- 7:30You didn't do one before this. No, I did.
- 7:32I actually had none of this world, it's called.
- 7:35And that was that was a little different.
- 7:37I had a couple interviews on there, but it was getting my
- 7:40feet wet. That started in 2018 and yeah,
- 7:45it was just like one of these things where microphone's shy.
- 7:49I didn't like the sound of my own voice, I didn't know what I
- 7:51was doing. So the the audio there is
- 7:53horrific, but it's still there. Well, that.
- 7:56Was one of my first observations about your Rod is like, oh, he's
- 7:59got a, he's got a voice. A full voice helps.
- 8:02Yeah, it's so my starting is is like never despise small
- 8:08beginnings. Really trying to reimpress that
- 8:10now because the way things have been going, maintaining that
- 8:15humility and that posture of just like, man, like I know what
- 8:18it's like to hear from the Lord. People think you're crazy and
- 8:22put in countless hours of work before it's ever gets a head
- 8:27nod, you know, And then after the head nod, you start getting
- 8:30like, well, congratulations, and you're still here.
- 8:35And then it, you know, the ripple effect does its thing.
- 8:37So that's been a really weird process for me because sometimes
- 8:42I, I narrow and zone in tunnel vision almost.
- 8:45And I'm just like, go, go, go, go.
- 8:47And I kind of pulled my head out recently from the tunnel vision
- 8:53of work, work, work and started looking around and I'm like, oh,
- 8:56this feels weird. So it's been quite a number of
- 8:59years, Paul. Yeah, well, and I, I had a
- 9:03little bit of this pop up in the conversation that I, I had on
- 9:07the show last with, with Aaron. When you're dealing with the
- 9:10kind of topics that you're dealing with and there's a new
- 9:13development that's, you know, popping up so much faster than
- 9:18you ever expected and 1 rabbit hole leads leads to another and
- 9:22that requires more biblical study.
- 9:24And then, and these are hard topics and you really do have to
- 9:28pull back occasionally because it's just tough stuff.
- 9:31Yeah, I agree, definitely. So how is your, how has your
- 9:35view of things? This is a bit of AI mean.
- 9:38I kind of know how you're going to answer both.
- 9:39So no, I'm, I'm really curious to hear what your answer is
- 9:42going to be because these things are always personal.
- 9:44What how, how has this changed you?
- 9:47How has this affected your world view when you look at where this
- 9:51has gone from 2020 to now? There's like a still small
- 9:55confidence in just the way that I've been moving and viewing
- 9:58things because what I felt like I was hearing, you know, I
- 10:02didn't hear the Lord audibly, but I, I had these like
- 10:05intuitions that this is my suspice.
- 10:09Like this is going on, right? Inklings, whatever you want to
- 10:12call it. And then all of that.
- 10:14There was a whole library of that whole life of trying to
- 10:18make sense of everything and then to see it start to resonate
- 10:21with people around the world and people of significant status, to
- 10:27see that it's in the public square.
- 10:30It's given me confidence. But it's also, it's something
- 10:33where like, I don't know how to truly put my, you know, my hands
- 10:38on it, but I feel like I'm walking and what I was called to
- 10:40do. I feel like it was so hard.
- 10:45I don't know if I've gotten used to how difficult it is and maybe
- 10:48a little callous to it and it's affected me in other ways, but
- 10:52there's like a confidence. But there's also this, you know,
- 10:55kind of weighty. Just like I look at things and I
- 10:57can tell when people don't see the depth of the spiritual
- 11:01reality or the depravity or how beautiful it is.
- 11:04And so I feel like an outsider a lot of the times, right?
- 11:08It's been very helpful to connect with many of the other
- 11:11black sheep through this podcast.
- 11:13So, but, but once again, there was things that I felt like I
- 11:17discussed with the Holy Spirit in a secret place that never
- 11:22came out of my mouth. And, and, you know, three years,
- 11:25four years, five years later, it's being confirmed in all
- 11:28these different areas. And that's a weird feeling where
- 11:32I don't know what to expect next.
- 11:34I some days, I hope God, you're not done with me.
- 11:37You felt like we have done some amazing things.
- 11:40And other days I feel like, no, we're just beginning.
- 11:42So I mean, that's my transparency.
- 11:45My vulnerability is it's a rollercoaster ride most of the
- 11:48time. Yeah, when when I released my
- 11:51first book in 2020, it was literally COVID.
- 11:54And a lot of the reasons I wrote the book were my concerns, which
- 11:57we've discussed about transhumanism and genetic
- 12:00manipulation and, and what they now call human engineering.
- 12:04Because it's, I think they realize transhumanism is a word
- 12:07that's, it's already got a connotation.
- 12:10But Rod, I thought things were years down the Pike.
- 12:14And then the moment I released it, I realized we are right in
- 12:18the middle of the big, first big public experiment.
- 12:20And it's not, you know, it's not friends, it's not, it's not five
- 12:24years out. We're, it's right here.
- 12:26So the pace of, of these issues and coming to speed with them is
- 12:31it takes it out of you. And some, in some respects I I
- 12:34respect that you've realized that you do need to take a
- 12:37breather from time to time. A sabbatical, A breather, right?
- 12:41Just taking a step back and reflecting.
- 12:42Like I said, there's a cost to agree with your your last
- 12:46statement, but there's a reward too.
- 12:50And, and I think being able to entertain both of those
- 12:53genuinely, reflectively, honestly, quietly, you know, the
- 12:58way that I would do it. I'm not necessarily going to go
- 13:02backpacking through South America and reflect on all this
- 13:04in some misty mountain, but it's a chapter where there's
- 13:09decisions to be made and things that we've accomplished that I'm
- 13:12looking at. And I'm like, I never stopped to
- 13:16take a look at that from more angles than a quick glance.
- 13:20Right. And ultimately, as I've grown
- 13:24from this information, all the stuff I've heard, and I don't
- 13:26believe everything I've heard on the show, first of all, like
- 13:29that, you know, there's some immature stuff that I
- 13:31entertained early on and even through the years.
- 13:35I'm not saying it's ADD content, but eat the meat, spit out the
- 13:38bones is my thoughts right? And some stuff is so good that
- 13:42my worldview, Paul is now relearning everything that is
- 13:47perfect and good from above. And like, learning to forget all
- 13:51of this other, you know, systematic programming that this
- 13:55life has offered me as a kid who grew up in the suburbs of
- 13:59Philadelphia. I really feel like I do need to
- 14:02take some time and reflect and consider what's already been
- 14:06accomplished and then try to be sensitive to where God's telling
- 14:09me we're going next. Because I might have gotten a
- 14:11couple things wrong in the years, you know?
- 14:15Right. Well, it's, it's there so much
- 14:18you talked about programming and things that we just sort of
- 14:23comfortably believed because they were the narrative that was
- 14:25common and everyone believed it. And then you find yourself as
- 14:29that minority voice or that minority person who's
- 14:33questioning and saying, I don't think so.
- 14:36And I got reasons why I don't think so.
- 14:38But I what one thing that I think has been, I don't know
- 14:43what the right word is it it's comforting.
- 14:46But there there's the realization how many people have
- 14:49been on this journey and how many people have been on this
- 14:52journey with you as you're taking in new things and you're
- 14:57processing and you're questioning your own narratives.
- 14:59That is kind of the gift of doing this for several years.
- 15:04And I know, you know, you might talk a little bit about, you
- 15:06know, just how the podcast has grown and some of the just some
- 15:09of the mechanics of that, but your audience goes with you.
- 15:12They're they're, they're here for a reason.
- 15:14They like you, they trust you. They like your take on things.
- 15:17They like your guests. You know, obviously people show
- 15:19up for the guests and whatnot, but they can hear those guests
- 15:22on other places, but they come to yours because they know
- 15:25you're processing this, you know, on a personal level.
- 15:28What, what are some of the aspects of growth that you've
- 15:31seen and and what what are some of the rewards of having this
- 15:34audience grow with you? Yeah, I keep a couple emails and
- 15:39messages, like I have some screenshots.
- 15:42I save a couple things for the rainy days because I remember
- 15:46what it was like being on the receiving end.
- 15:49You know the teachings of Doctor Chuck Missler.
- 15:52Right. Oh my gosh.
- 15:54And fantastic. Just receiving and being like,
- 15:57I'm not crazy and it's in the word, you know, and sit down and
- 16:01and get into the word and find it there.
- 16:03And then I would have these moments, Paul, where another
- 16:06person would present that case to me and I'd feel like I wasn't
- 16:11setting out really intentionally in my mind to be like,
- 16:14somebody's going to get this topic in particular is going to
- 16:16change them this way. It's just exposing the darkness
- 16:20and going. But there would be moments where
- 16:22people would send me an e-mail. I've talked with a couple
- 16:24different people from around the world.
- 16:26You know, I've carved out some time to talk on the phone.
- 16:29It's it's limited. I don't, you can't do that for
- 16:31everybody. But there's certain times where
- 16:32I felt the nudge and this person would just be weeping and
- 16:36they're like, thank you so much. Like I, this touched me so
- 16:39deeply. I needed to know that I'm not
- 16:42the only one. And there was, it was surreal
- 16:43because I would get into my emotions and be like, man, I
- 16:48remember it's, it wasn't that long ago that I was on that end
- 16:52of it. And so growth wise, I've seen,
- 16:56you know, sub pockets of people, I've seen churches change, I've
- 16:59seen industries change. I've seen government officials
- 17:03start to entertain private conversations and, and somewhat
- 17:07public. I mean, we, we've dabbled around
- 17:10an interesting realm of persons on air thus far and there's
- 17:15still more stuff coming, but, and to see them start to
- 17:18resonate with the little old me with some of these thoughts and
- 17:22praying and, and, you know, ripping his shirt and screaming
- 17:26out and going, I'm not going to nod my head and just say yes and
- 17:29Amen with whatever somebody hands me like we're going to
- 17:32figure it out. That's the growth for me.
- 17:36It is significant. And I do believe the audience is
- 17:39growing with me. I there's no way you can be the
- 17:41same and just play mundane gummy bear Christianity after you've
- 17:46taken a 1520 episode journey with me, you know, and if you've
- 17:51listened to all of it, like there's no, you can't go back.
- 17:57It's very true. I, I think it's, it isn't
- 18:00amazing. The world has has come to this
- 18:02place where the the consumer, you know, the person, they get
- 18:06to decide who they go on the journey with, you know, and a
- 18:08lot of people have decided, you know, like you, I like your
- 18:11take. And they're probably listening
- 18:12to other shows too, but they keep coming back to this podcast
- 18:14because they appreciate how you've been processing the
- 18:18journey and they feel like they've got a kindred spirit
- 18:21that they can, they can hear from the guests that they like
- 18:25to hear from, but they know, you know, there's a trust level with
- 18:27you. And that's a, that's a, some of
- 18:30the amazing thing that like really the consumer gets to
- 18:32decide and they've, they've chosen this place.
- 18:35And, you know, honestly, some of the, the benchmarks of, of,
- 18:39because I'm not versed in the podcast world, you know, that
- 18:41I'm new to this stuff. Just how you've kind of
- 18:44described the place that the, the, the podcast has come to is
- 18:48amazing. And I think it would be kind of
- 18:50encouraging for some folks to just know, hey, it's really come
- 18:53to A, to a landmark place in regards to how many people are
- 18:57checking in and listening to what's going on.
- 18:59I talk about in the private kind of circles, you know, my, my
- 19:03friends and family, it's been a long and dangerous growth
- 19:08journey. And it's, it's true.
- 19:11I mean, we started out in 2020. I don't know if even we had like
- 19:155 or 10,000 people that listened.
- 19:17And I've never been a numbers guy.
- 19:19You got to look at that and be like, wow, you know what's
- 19:22happening. And so it's been a slow, long
- 19:27uphill since then of growth and we've hitting some patches like
- 19:31last year was significant. I just told you, I said, Paul,
- 19:36it's, it's crazy. It's timely.
- 19:37We're doing this episode. I said I just hit an all time
- 19:40high of downloads today. You know, we, we've crept into
- 19:45124 countries, all 50 states continually download.
- 19:52And it's Texas is #1 by the way, like when I look at the
- 19:56analytics, like we're maybe I should move to Texas because
- 19:59Texas loves us, man. There's like 200 townships,
- 20:03boroughs, cities and providences just in the state of Texas
- 20:06alone. Pennsylvania, where I reside is
- 20:09number 3. So I, I look at that, I get to,
- 20:12I get to see towns, boroughs, cities, you know, and.
- 20:16Obviously Philadelphia, we get a lot of downloads in
- 20:18Philadelphia. Philadelphia is a huge city,
- 20:20though. It's really funny.
- 20:22I've only ever met two people that are like, no, wait, are are
- 20:24you the guy who does the podcast like from here in my voice?
- 20:28It's so funny to, I guess you could say, see this go as far as
- 20:31it goes. And in this region, it's
- 20:34hardship and deprivation, man. It's it's they're not too
- 20:38friendly to I guess what I'm doing on a local basis.
- 20:41I'm not saying I have like enemies that I'm aware of, but
- 20:45there's there's places in this country that e-mail and they
- 20:48support. They let me know where they're
- 20:50at. And then I see the statistics
- 20:52and it's, it's fascinating. You know, I don't, I forget what
- 20:55your question was, by the way. I'm sorry, I don't even know if
- 20:57I answered the question or if I just well.
- 20:59Yeah, just yeah, you kind of did just how much the podcast has
- 21:03grown and where it's, it's, it's come to, I mean the benchmarks
- 21:06that like we were talking about, I don't know, a month or so ago
- 21:10and it's like, boom, here you are tonight.
- 21:12Like Yep, we're, we're hitting that.
- 21:13We're in that level that I've been trying to to hit within the
- 21:16market. And yeah, and I I think the
- 21:19people are be you know, the people that have been with you
- 21:22are like really, that's great. I had no idea, you know, like, I
- 21:25mean, some of them know it, but but, but, but some, some would
- 21:28be like, I had no idea. Like this is this goes up many
- 21:31places. My goodness, that's.
- 21:33Fantastic. That's unique.
- 21:34Paul is like, it really is a a very personal and intimate show.
- 21:39I mean, these elongated conversations, I'm pulling out
- 21:42details, asking questions, getting to the crux of the issue
- 21:46as best as I possibly can with, you know, the Holy Spirit is my
- 21:49helper. But even when I think about it
- 21:52like we don't, we don't cover what's trendy typically.
- 21:56I've noticed that we've covered content and then it becomes
- 21:59trendy 2 months or six months later.
- 22:02It's this huge, big topic of conversation now everyone's
- 22:05talking about like, so these are things where like really, I
- 22:08don't want to say my head's been in the sand, but when I say
- 22:10humble beginnings, there's people that are on my radar and
- 22:13I'm like, this is great. And there's a lot of people out
- 22:15there I don't know of like other guests to have on, for example,
- 22:18to have collaborations. I don't listen to many other
- 22:21shows I used to and it's but when I look at the numbers, I I
- 22:26think I giggle because I'm like, there's a bunch of other weirdos
- 22:29out there just like me better, you know, working out or going
- 22:33for a walk or whatever they're doing, you know, commuting in
- 22:35the car and they're listening to this content.
- 22:37They're grappling with these deep truths of like, have we
- 22:40been lied to? Is it in the Bible?
- 22:42Whoa, it's there just like he said it was.
- 22:45It's never been like bright lights and big production and
- 22:49nothing fancy like this really. Is the guy next door genuinely?
- 22:54Well, it's we're, I think in, in regards to the topics that we
- 22:57cover, which is leaving some of the standard narratives and
- 23:01realizing that they really don't serve us.
- 23:04And there might not even be biblical.
- 23:06I think a lot of folks like believed in the realities of
- 23:08spiritual conflict or spiritual warfare.
- 23:10But I think there's a growing understanding that the demonic,
- 23:15the dark side is entrenched itself in our institutions far
- 23:19deeper than we ever imagined. And we're watching that play
- 23:23out. And, and I really do think we,
- 23:27we run into some interesting spiritual opposition with this
- 23:31topic, even though I kind of feel like it's a train going
- 23:34down the track that's only going to keep raising picking up speed
- 23:37and people. But when the enemy loses A
- 23:41narrative, you know, he loses 3 or 4 narratives.
- 23:44And so the the spiritual opposition is very real and you
- 23:51know, for the audience to just be reminded, yeah, this is not
- 23:54just an information place. This is a ministry and
- 23:57ministries are under attack. If you're doing something good
- 24:00for the Kingdom, you are likely drawing some fire.
- 24:04And that is just the nature of warfare.
- 24:06So for those that have been on the journey with Rod and, and
- 24:11are going to be on the journey moving forward, never forget
- 24:14what we. I know that Rod frequently asked
- 24:15for prayer, but ministries demanding and you know, Rod's
- 24:22got lots of irons in the fire. So be praying for this.
- 24:25It's it's great to be able to celebrate how far this has gone
- 24:29tonight, But it's like if we're going to go further, we need you
- 24:33guys praying. I'm praying for Rod.
- 24:35I need you guys to be praying for Rod.
- 24:37You know, like this is this is the conflict's real.
- 24:41Then it's it's they're not giving this stuff up.
- 24:44It's been costly to sort of maintain these false narratives
- 24:48that keep people really just clueless to some of the things
- 24:52that are going on in the world. And so the prayers is absolutely
- 24:56essential moving forward. I think there's times where I, I
- 25:02feel like I should designate a whole episode to spill the beans
- 25:05and ask for prayer, you know? And there's a lot that happens
- 25:11in the background, a lot of behind the scenes stuff that
- 25:13happens. Secret ministry.
- 25:16Sometimes the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is
- 25:19doing. Other times I do public things,
- 25:22I do collaborate. I've done in person meetups and
- 25:24prayer meetings. I've traveled, you know,
- 25:27multiple different states in the last two years for events of
- 25:32finding other men and women and families that were just like, we
- 25:37just want to show up and pray and worship God with no agenda
- 25:40and see what happens. Like, yeah, some of it has
- 25:44happened publicly. I've done it with other
- 25:46ministers and, you know, but some of it happens in places
- 25:51that you'd never expect or that I don't even set out to expect
- 25:55half the time. You know, one of my buddies,
- 25:57Holistic Nick, who's been on a handful of times, we, we laugh
- 26:01because we used to just be like, Hey, we just want to get away
- 26:03from everything and take a hike. And, you know, did this many
- 26:07times prior to 2020 and a few times since then.
- 26:10His life has just changed so much.
- 26:11But we would always laugh because we'd set out to be like,
- 26:15no cell phone. Let's just go on a three hour
- 26:16hike and would turn into we met somebody along the trail.
- 26:20We were walking along talking about how the veil split in half
- 26:23and they heard it and it turned into this, you know, big
- 26:25conversation. They asked for prayer.
- 26:27They start crying and it's like, man, we can't get away from it.
- 26:30Like I just try to, I just wanted, I don't know what normal
- 26:34is, but it's, I guess in my mind there's times where I thought,
- 26:37let's just go be a normal person or do something different and,
- 26:40and God would use those opportunities.
- 26:43And then there's been times, Paul, where I've been in the
- 26:44middle of of a revival and everyone's around saying, I feel
- 26:48God, I feel and I'm like, I'm not feeling any of it.
- 26:52Look, I've experienced such weird ends of it, you know?
- 26:56Well, listen, that's ministry for you, yeah.
- 26:57Yeah. You show up and do it and not
- 27:02not because of how you feel, it's because of what the people
- 27:04need and that that does cost something.
- 27:09Speaking of cost, why don't you maybe give a little insight into
- 27:15what's involved getting a podcast to this place because
- 27:18there's a lot of people around the world, which is fun to hear
- 27:21the stats that benefit and enjoy the content.
- 27:25But maybe talk a little bit about, yeah, this is what's
- 27:28involved. This is what it costs, this is
- 27:30the time, this is the money, this is the infrastructure, this
- 27:33is the prayer. Yeah.
- 27:35It's a lot. I mean, it's a lifestyle.
- 27:37I'll say that right off the bat. Reading content, always
- 27:40continually checking yourself to make sure you're in good
- 27:43standings with the Lord and the direction you're heading, and
- 27:47then being able to grapple with some of the most intense and
- 27:50prolific authors and speakers out there.
- 27:53I guess I feel like I'm doing what God's calling me to do.
- 27:56I don't think this is it, but time involved is significant.
- 28:01You know, there's 1000 plus hours of public content.
- 28:05There's 5000 hours easy, probably a lot more than that in
- 28:10editing. There's a continual cost in
- 28:13equipment and maintenance and rights to music and the time it
- 28:18takes to edit and produce it. And people are like, just do a
- 28:21live show. Just do a live show.
- 28:22And I'm like, well, that requires me to stop and and set
- 28:25myself up differently. I think if you, when you know
- 28:27how to do this, people look at each other and you lock eyes a
- 28:30little bit longer and then and smirk and you know, you kind of
- 28:35respect each other when you realize because there's a lot
- 28:38that goes into it. I've tried to bring other people
- 28:40on to bear that burden. I've never really found a
- 28:43relief. I don't recommend that just
- 28:46anybody does this. I really don't like if you're
- 28:51called to do it and do it with your whole heart and focus on
- 28:54what's above and and try to plow through.
- 28:57I don't know me and Basil from CCR, you know, he he's like, do
- 29:01you know how many podcasts never make it past 10 episodes?
- 29:05It's like people think it's cool, but like when you get in
- 29:07it and it's year after year after year, it's cost me
- 29:10vacations. It's cost me relationships I've
- 29:15put in monetarily into this thing.
- 29:17The cost of probably paying off the rest of my car put over 10
- 29:22or 15 GS into this over all these years.
- 29:24Believe it or not, it. Sounds.
- 29:26Crazy. But it's not.
- 29:28It's a real thing. I've had microphones stop
- 29:32working one after the other. Season 3 and 4 I went through
- 29:35like 5 microphones, like on an interview just talking and yet
- 29:40another $150.00 mic just at another one.
- 29:43Like bizarre stuff has happened too.
- 29:45Supernatural stuff, man. I've been woken up in the middle
- 29:48of the night. I've had warfare I've had.
- 29:50But I don't want to like peg this as a negative thing because
- 29:54there's been good stuff. But when I look and reflect, I,
- 29:58I really think to myself, Lord, like you walked with me here.
- 30:04Like I was like, where are we going?
- 30:06And you whispered things to me and you told me I was important
- 30:09and I, I didn't believe them. I didn't believe I was, I didn't
- 30:14have that type of self value when I started this journey.
- 30:18A lot has changed. You know, I've grown a lot.
- 30:21I have a long way to go. I am not a good example.
- 30:23I tell my guys they're like, you're the leader, like, you
- 30:26know, I've had a lot of people tell me wild stuff and I'm just
- 30:29like, OK, that's cool. We'll see if it happens.
- 30:31But I always say I'm not a great example because I'm a man just
- 30:35like I'm I'm fallible. You know, I've dropped the ball,
- 30:40I've made mistakes, I've wrestled with things.
- 30:42And so I look at the growth and overall, you know, I'll pass it
- 30:45back to you in just a second. Paul, I, I have to be
- 30:48transparent and say this is a long and drawn out cost and
- 30:53battle. And there's certain things I
- 30:56just don't want to talk about because I don't want to start
- 30:59busting out tears on my own show like I, I just don't there's,
- 31:02it's heavy at times, man. It really is.
- 31:04But I've seen some beauty and I've felt just enough of that.
- 31:09I'm with you. It's going to be OK.
- 31:12Just enough of that peace that I've been able to maintain up
- 31:16until this time. Well, I my observation, you
- 31:19know, as you were, as you were talking, is it's, it's a little
- 31:22bit funny that you're, that you're talking to a pastor
- 31:24because I would say representing the church perspective.
- 31:28A lot of the reason you have a large audience is because people
- 31:32in my position are not talking about things.
- 31:36They just don't want to talk about certain issues.
- 31:40Now I have found as a pastor, you can talk about them.
- 31:44You need to be careful and you need to be thoroughly biblically
- 31:47prepared. But the reality is you will find
- 31:51people are like, thank God you're explaining this.
- 31:54Thank, you know, I had no idea or I had no idea it was this
- 31:57bad. Thank God these issues are
- 31:59actually covered in the Bible. You know, like I just, you know,
- 32:04I've got questions. And unfortunately, you know, I
- 32:08think the church will make its way out of it because God's
- 32:10really gracious and the church, you know, frequently finds
- 32:14itself on the right path because God's just really good to us.
- 32:16But the American church, at least let me say it from that
- 32:19perspective, you know, there, there's just big segments of it.
- 32:23We don't want to rock the boat and we we don't want to cover
- 32:26topics that are going to thin the crowd or or not be the kind
- 32:31of felt neat approach that's just so common.
- 32:33And if if it were that easy, I would understand it.
- 32:38But as, as we've discussed, we got giants at the gate and the
- 32:43pastime of the American church is just to nitpick each other on
- 32:46social media over who's got the right theology.
- 32:49I mean, it's like we have giants outside the gates.
- 32:53It's we have very real issues coming down the Pike.
- 32:57And thank God that there is places where people can go like
- 33:01like this podcast. Because sadly, guys in my
- 33:07position, there's not enough of us talking about this.
- 33:10So people have to go somewhere. Thank God.
- 33:13You know, one of the reasons we clicked was just the realization
- 33:16we're both going to bring it back to a biblical perspective.
- 33:19We're always going to bring it back through that filter because
- 33:22you can hear people talk about giants and all sorts of things,
- 33:24but they're new Agers. They're not, you know, they can
- 33:26talk Jesus, but the reality is, I can tell you're not talking
- 33:30about the same Jesus I'm talking about.
- 33:32So part of the success of the podcast is kind of built on if
- 33:36more people had been doing their job, you might not, you might
- 33:40not have as many people that need this information, but thank
- 33:43God the that there's been a place to go.
- 33:47I've told the Lord many times that when this door closes and
- 33:51my job is done, it's because a generation has been raised up to
- 33:57meet the standard, you know, And as quickly as things move these
- 34:00days, I have no idea what next year looks like anymore.
- 34:02But you're right, it's a void. There was there was an absence.
- 34:08Honestly, when you see a void that is biblically, I mean, the
- 34:13principles are there, you know, the supernatural warfare, who we
- 34:17really are, the price that's been paid for us, who's calling
- 34:21us by name forward to fight things that most people can't
- 34:25even define or believe exist and and they exist.
- 34:29They exist and I think it's beautiful that the I mean, you
- 34:33really can find a growing interest and part of what's
- 34:38beautiful about it is just the love of truth.
- 34:41And people will go find truth. They're getting, you know, truth
- 34:44that they need in their church. But there's, there's other
- 34:47questions that they have and they they need a place where the
- 34:51biblical worldview is going to be foremost and, and central and
- 34:57wow, who, who'd believe the topics?
- 34:59You know, even just rolling the clock back 1020 years, could you
- 35:03believe that none of these topics were on people's radar
- 35:05There, There were a handful of people voices in the wilderness.
- 35:09But look at how you've carried this forward since 2020.
- 35:14You've gained a lot of ground. You've you've grown.
- 35:17And that's kind of leads into, you know, what you wanted to
- 35:21talk about tonight was just sort of the need for some Sabbath
- 35:25rest. You've been carrying this a long
- 35:28time and you're going to keep carrying it forward, but you
- 35:32need a little breather. Yeah, I do.
- 35:35I I set out to try to bring on more help because I knew in the
- 35:41back of my mind I needed a break.
- 35:47Not the kind that hurts you, right?
- 35:50They created more work. But I but I loved to see the
- 35:54growth and people that were once listeners, you know, come on
- 35:58board and actually start to see like, hey, this is what it looks
- 36:02like and get a taste. I have people that that help.
- 36:05You know, Aaron has rescued my schedule quite a number of
- 36:08times. You know, Carly has submitted
- 36:11audio messages over the years. I've had other people
- 36:14intermittently step up and help with certain things for short
- 36:18seasons. But I'm thankful for all of it.
- 36:20And yeah, I mean, I'm, I'm really looking at this point in
- 36:24time. This will release at episode
- 36:27250. I'm going to take a little break
- 36:30and an evaluation. Yeah, I think just as you know,
- 36:36Rod kind of throws his heart out there and says, I need a break
- 36:39for for the audience standpoint. In a sense you're there's still
- 36:43content that's in the, you know, that's going to be coming down
- 36:45the Pike. So you, you may not notice this
- 36:49in, in real time necessarily, but Rod's taking a break in real
- 36:53time. You know, there'll still be some
- 36:55things coming on the podcast that are going to be released
- 36:58that will sort of, you know, bridge that gap.
- 37:00But he's taking a break. He needs your prayers and needs
- 37:03your support and needs your encouragement, your financial
- 37:06support and the freedom from the audience to, you know, for, for
- 37:11him to be able to hear, hey, we get it, dude.
- 37:14Take a break, man. Thank you for all the great
- 37:16content. You've got such an incredible
- 37:18library. You know, if there's things that
- 37:22are getting, you know, there's still new content that's going
- 37:23to be coming out while Rod's taking a break, but you can go
- 37:25back and listen to my God, you've got some of the best
- 37:28guests. You've got people I've listened
- 37:29to on other shows there. There's plenty of things to
- 37:32enjoy, but whether you really notice it in real time, Rod
- 37:37needs a breather. Be praying for him, encourage
- 37:40him, be supportive. I'm really excited to hear where
- 37:46things are going to be going from the future.
- 37:48And I, I found in ministry, there's always seasons.
- 37:51You can fight a season and usually not successfully.
- 37:56There's times when you just sort of know some things are winding
- 37:59down, some some things are spinning up and you just sort of
- 38:03learn to just kind of go with the Holy Spirit.
- 38:06So this is one of those times where Rod's going to be backing
- 38:09off a little bit. Keep him in your heart and mind
- 38:12because this, this is this does cost something, but I'm excited
- 38:16to also to hear where things are headed.
- 38:19I know he's needs some time to reflect, but what are some of
- 38:22your thoughts on where this is going to be going?
- 38:26You know, post your, your, your rest and break.
- 38:29How can the audience be supportive?
- 38:32You know, everything we've been talking about personally and
- 38:35what you just said is, is the heart of the issue.
- 38:39I want to take a seat with the audience and look at it, you
- 38:43know, I want to get out of that production for a couple weeks
- 38:46and yeah, contents still going to come not 2 episodes a week.
- 38:50I'm, you know, possibly just one.
- 38:52I might skip one week overall, make you guys wait for the first
- 38:55time in a couple years maybe 15 days for an episode.
- 38:59But. Make it.
- 39:00Make it 2. Yeah, two weeks.
- 39:02Whatever. We we can handle it Rod and.
- 39:05If the Lord, you know, tells me back off for three or four weeks
- 39:08and and change my pace, I'll be sensitive to that.
- 39:11And I that's kind of the reason for this is like, I guess you
- 39:15could say leading up to it, all these breakthroughs that keep
- 39:18happening, you know, connections, crossovers,
- 39:21conversations, like productions that are taking place that the
- 39:24audience doesn't know anything about.
- 39:26Many different swords being forged in many different fires.
- 39:31So some of that needs to be prayed about.
- 39:33And I need to hear on some of those things.
- 39:36I mean, my God, like we've just done amazing things.
- 39:39Like, God has opened so many doors.
- 39:41You know, Doctor Laura Sanger's book, Generation Hoodwinks.
- 39:45I, I was able to endorse that with a list of other people.
- 39:48And I want to sit down and read it.
- 39:51I read it before it went to production, but that was like,
- 39:54you know, on the iPad. I have a physical copy here and
- 39:59I, you know, I kind of want to take a walk.
- 40:02Grounds and read a book and have you know, do something different
- 40:05for for a minute and see what I hear.
- 40:07But where I think we're going now, I know what's being done
- 40:11behind the scenes because I'm, I'm producing, answering the
- 40:14phone, right? Well, yeah, there's.
- 40:15Projecting people, yeah, there's stuff happening, man.
- 40:18It is aggressive in a good way. But I think God's going to have
- 40:24his way, and I think we're going to see more of an exodus from
- 40:28the mundane, nonchalant, programmed mentality that a lot
- 40:33of us have been waking up to over the years.
- 40:36I think we're going to see a much larger number of people
- 40:38start to, you know, reciprocate the depths of what God is
- 40:44echoing out, which is come out of Babylon.
- 40:47Trust that he leads us into all truth.
- 40:51And the stage that's set before us.
- 40:53There's a lot of actors on it that aren't on the side most
- 40:57people might think they're on. There's a lot of deception to
- 41:00wade through. I I think that there's going to
- 41:02be an explosion on the MMSI think we're going to start to
- 41:07publicly entertain some of the private conversations I've had
- 41:11because I've talked with people that most people wouldn't
- 41:13believe me if I told you I'm not here to be like, oh, I know so
- 41:17and so I'm just saying God is doing stuff.
- 41:19And if it resonates and he's choosing, you know, God could
- 41:25very well say, Rod, I'm sending you a different direction, or he
- 41:28could plug somebody else in. I don't know.
- 41:30It's going to happen. We're going to see this
- 41:34information resonate and it's going to be on the billboards.
- 41:37It's going to be in the front of, you know, your Barnes and
- 41:40Noble. It's going to be, you're not
- 41:42going to be able to get away from it because I do believe
- 41:44that when the awakening happens, it's contagious to get the
- 41:49truth. It's contagious.
- 41:51You can't hold it in it. It spreads like a wildfire and
- 41:55the whole world is experiencing it.
- 41:57It's just we haven't seen. The harvesters have been
- 42:04prepared, is what I'm saying, Paul.
- 42:06And there's a harvest coming. Well, and I think, I think we've
- 42:09all experienced as you, you know, people call it the red
- 42:14pill or waking up or, you know, like there's my God, I'm seeing
- 42:17the world differently. And, and it's a little, it's,
- 42:20it's scary and overwhelming. And there needs to be those
- 42:24voices that are like, Hey, listen, I, I feel you.
- 42:29I was there once. I know you've, I know this has
- 42:32got a little overwhelming and everywhere you look, you see the
- 42:34hand of the enemy. But trust me, the Kingdom of God
- 42:37is moving forward. And that only comes from a voice
- 42:41that's already processed that awakening or that, that, hey,
- 42:46I've been where you are. It looks overwhelming.
- 42:48Your, your narratives aren't serving you anymore.
- 42:50And you see the enemy everywhere.
- 42:53We'll just read the Kingdom of God's everywhere too.
- 42:55King Jesus is on the move and and this is all going to work
- 42:59out. That's, that's the, the beauty
- 43:01of, you know, part of what I locked into with the days of
- 43:04Noah was there was a group of people that went through all of
- 43:08this, you know, bioengineered insanity once before God kept a
- 43:13people through it. And we got big things coming
- 43:17down the Pike and the wake up is going to only accelerate.
- 43:19I totally agree with you. And, and there needs to be those
- 43:23people that have I've already been through this process.
- 43:26Let me, let me walk with you, You know, listen to these voices
- 43:30that they're going to bring some comfort because these are hard
- 43:33issues, really hard stuff. Yeah, it's so well said.
- 43:37I was having a conversation the other week and the gentleman was
- 43:40like, I feel like you can speak to this because I heard your
- 43:44testimony. I know what you've been through
- 43:47and he's going through a similar situation.
- 43:49And and it, it's funny that we know that about ourselves, but
- 43:54there's, there's these climactical moments where you
- 43:57feel it, you, you swell up with the reality of my God, I have
- 44:03been stabbed, lied to, cheated on, right, all the way, all the
- 44:08worst things. And then you're like, God's
- 44:10faithful. Oh my God, it was a season.
- 44:13He rescued me and then there's some confidence that surges up
- 44:17out of you when you realize it's that connection with somebody
- 44:20else. You're like, you're a younger
- 44:21version of me and I don't know, it resonates with people.
- 44:25You have the anointing of fearlessness and truth on you.
- 44:29And I'm just going, bro, I've just been there.
- 44:31I've tasted and seen that the Lord is good.
- 44:34His plans are not to destroy those who are calling on His
- 44:37name. He's rescuing us in the most
- 44:40peculiar way. And I know that's not
- 44:43everybody's story. Some people listening may not be
- 44:45able to resonate with that. But I will say the still small
- 44:50voice is stirring up an army for the days that we're living in,
- 44:55and we're going to see greater things.
- 44:58This is all kind of been a preparation phase in a lot of
- 45:02ways, Paul. Yeah.
- 45:03And I think that the, the, the, the reality of a break is, you
- 45:09know #1 it's biblical #2 it's got some, some practical aspects
- 45:15of it. You just, you just need to let a
- 45:17topic kind of breathe a little bit.
- 45:19As writers were always advised, when you finish your draft and
- 45:22you've gone through a lot of edits, you, you need to like not
- 45:25touch it for a little while because it's so in your head and
- 45:29you need to let it sit somewhere.
- 45:31And then after you get a little break, you go back and take a
- 45:34look at it and your eyes will be able to pick up things that you
- 45:36just couldn't see before. And that's exactly what the plan
- 45:40is. It's really important that you
- 45:42guys understand the transparency that I wanted to do this
- 45:47publicly because in a lot of ways, I'm creating a standard,
- 45:50guys. I don't have a model that I've
- 45:55fit into to create this. A lot of it is the tip of the
- 45:59spear lead those who are the sons of God are led by the
- 46:02Spirit of God. It's like, where are we going?
- 46:05I'll tell you when we get there. So kind of setting a bit of a
- 46:11standard and and really hoping that you guys will hear from the
- 46:15Lord for your own life, your direction, but also if God is
- 46:19whispering to donate to this ministry specifically to write
- 46:24an e-mail, whatever I mean. Yeah, the encouragement goes a
- 46:29long way. It goes a long way.
- 46:31Yeah, it really does. When I said planting seeds,
- 46:33Paul, it it's not just monetarily it it's, it literally
- 46:38is that secret prayer encouragement, the e-mail that
- 46:41comes through and says, man, I see you, you know, it's planting
- 46:45seeds. And that's kind of what I wanted
- 46:48to be made known here to Paul was.
- 46:50And I and I know Rod's heart. He's not he's really not one to
- 46:54ask, you know, and one of the reasons I feel a confidence and
- 46:59just and, and just giving a nudge.
- 47:01I think there's a lot of folks in your audience that they they
- 47:05do they've had it in their mind. You know what I even a little
- 47:09bit to donate. Go ahead and just obey that
- 47:12nudge. That's just me gently just
- 47:15reminding you for those of you out there that have you've
- 47:18already felt the nudge. We're asking you to obey the
- 47:21Holy Spirit. We're asking you to to just do
- 47:23what God lays on your heart to do.
- 47:25I just kind of have a feeling that there's folks out there
- 47:27that they've kind of felt that nudge.
- 47:29Yeah, I'm going to drop a little bit in or I'm going to do, you
- 47:31know, something, go ahead and do it.
- 47:33It'll mean it'll mean the world of Rod, especially at this time
- 47:35period, he's taking stock of things.
- 47:38And this is this has cost something to get here.
- 47:40So, you know, if, if the Holy Spirit's laid it on your heart,
- 47:45it's always good to obey the Holy Spirit.
- 47:46You'll be so blessed. And I know Rod, is that a point
- 47:49where he would so deeply appreciate it and and be so
- 47:53charged by it? Because I know he's going to
- 47:56take a break and he's going to be ready to come out of the gate
- 47:58swinging. And all of that kind of support.
- 48:01And whether it's prayer or whether it's an encouraging word
- 48:04or whether it's just dropping something in that's going to
- 48:06help pay for the infrastructure is so deeply appreciated and,
- 48:10and going to be part of the next season and the things that the
- 48:15podcast will be doing down the road because there's there's no
- 48:19shortage of giants in the land at this point.
- 48:21We we do have a a target rich environment, don't we?
- 48:24It's very true. I couldn't have said it any
- 48:27better myself. Well, it has been a pleasure to
- 48:31ask you some questions and, and have you be given the
- 48:35opportunity to sort of share your heart.
- 48:38We love, we love the interviews, we love the guests, we love the
- 48:40topics, but the reality is the reason people come here is
- 48:45because on some level this is a safe place for them.
- 48:47They trust you. They, they, they like where
- 48:49you're coming from. So I'm glad we've had that
- 48:52opportunity. You deserved it and
- 48:54congratulations on getting it this far.
- 48:57And I think it's just because I'm so new to this.
- 48:59When you throw out numbers and countries and, and stuff like
- 49:02that, I'm just like thrilled because I'm like, wow, because
- 49:04this is just not, this is not the world I deal with.
- 49:07So it's really cool to hear some of the inside baseball.
- 49:10But anything in closing that you want to share with the audience?
- 49:14Season 1 and 2, if you want to go back there, it's a little
- 49:17rough if you haven't ran through season 4 or five more precisely,
- 49:24like episode maybe 98 and up, run through that.
- 49:29If you're newer to the show and you haven't kind of went through
- 49:33the archives. If you've been rocking with me
- 49:35all of this time, I think you're going to completely understand
- 49:39what I'm doing and there's not going to be any, you know, step
- 49:44back on your end. I think you guys are going to
- 49:46step up and kind of fill that void right now.
- 49:49But for the newer people, there's plenty of content here
- 49:52and I've done very strong collaborations.
- 49:55You know, I've been on the Days of Noah podcast probably 30 or
- 50:0040 times. They have 150 episodes.
- 50:04You know, if you've maxed out my content, you already know who I
- 50:07collaborate with. Go take, you know, take a really
- 50:10quick week or two to say hi to them.
- 50:12But I'm going to come out of the gate swinging when I show back
- 50:15up in full force. So don't go too far.
- 50:19Pray for me. Plant seeds and share these
- 50:21episodes far and wide. You literally are helping us
- 50:24find another person that's just like us.
- 50:26That's how this thing is started.
- 50:28It start. It started with, you know, 10 or
- 50:312030 people that started sharing it.
- 50:34I've never paid to promote this show.
- 50:37I don't even have Facebook anymore.
- 50:39Like I don't post the link anywhere, upload an episode and
- 50:42thousands and thousands of you in the first, you know, couple
- 50:45days or week are listening on a monthly basis.
- 50:48It's significant. I'm perplexed to be able to be
- 50:53in this situation. It's very humbling and you guys
- 50:56are amazing for taking this journey with me.
- 50:58Like I you guys, I don't know all the stories and all of your
- 51:03battles, but I can imagine if you're going down this road,
- 51:07mighty warriors trees, what a oaks of righteousness yes like
- 51:12wow. Yeah, this is the John.
- 51:14It's an honor. Yeah.
- 51:15Proud. The the voice calling in the
- 51:17wilderness. But the topics, as you know, if
- 51:20you start to wrap your head around them, you know, this
- 51:22stuff is societal, It's global. It's not going away.
- 51:27The church needs to get its head around it.
- 51:29So thank you so much for being one of those voices in the
- 51:32wilderness that that demanded a better explanation than what
- 51:36you'd received so far. I know you were the right person
- 51:39to do this with. Paul, you've been pastoring a
- 51:41long time. I appreciate our off air
- 51:44conversations, prayer and advice and things of that sort.
- 51:47And I really feel like we accomplished exactly what I was
- 51:51setting out to do with this celebration and.
- 51:54Amen. Rest announcement.
- 51:56Yeah, fantastic. All right, well, that is going
- 52:00to be it for this episode. Rod, thank you so much for
- 52:04joining us. I know that's kind of funny.
- 52:05This is the house that you built, but thank you for thank
- 52:07you for allowing the gears to switch a little bit and and you
- 52:11could hear from where you're coming from.
- 52:13And so thank you so much for joining and please support a
- 52:16friend Rod as he takes a little breather.
- 52:18Again, contents coming and there's other things coming that
- 52:21I we can't really only talk about yet.
- 52:24There's other things coming down the Pike, but please play for
- 52:28Rod. Please be supportive my hello
- 52:30Cinema. You know, buy him a coffee
- 52:32however. But thank you so much audience.
- 52:35We look forward to talking to you again soon.
- 52:49I came from the sun, but one of the only straight from the
- 52:54heavens. You really owe me.
- 52:57All of my life I was beating up in my life.
- 53:00I didn't handle hope. All in my life I was stuck in on
- 53:03track. All in my life I didn't handle
- 53:05rat. I didn't know why my life was so
- 53:07wet. I didn't know why my life was a
- 53:10rat. I didn't know why I couldn't get
- 53:12up. I was so stuck.
- 53:13And the monkey was stuck till I found out.
- 53:16And I broke everything till I fell down.
- 53:18And they took everything until I was hurting.
- 53:20My heart was strained. Yeah, I was broken.
- 53:23I had all this pain held on home.
- 53:25It got harder than I had no truth but to look to my guy.
- 53:31He gave me to me up, open my eye.
- 53:33He gave me earrings and he told me I'm blessed.
- 53:35He told me he just believe in this.
- 53:38I told him I can't change all of my ways.
- 53:40He said I got you, just look at this.
- 53:42I looked at him and he showed me his ways.
- 53:44Then he just told me how I am. See he just told me I'm not in
- 53:48this world. He told me I come from the
- 53:50heavens above. I'm a new creature.
- 53:52I come from the sun, from the one and only straight from the
- 53:55heavens. You really owe me.
- 53:57I came from the sun. I was really with him.
- 53:59And heavenly places I'm still living.
- 54:01Y'all can't even go that way. Y'all don't even know that way.
- 54:06Y'all want to play like Patty Katie but this ain't no game.
- 54:09But it's that way right? You wipe this on fake when you
- 54:13walk under me and I know you a snake.
- 54:16You think you can be me but you got no problem.
- 54:18You want in a way I take out that trouble.
- 54:21I put on your top and I prank on your face.
- 54:25I see you laughing. You think that you got me but
- 54:27you got no way. The evil you said for my life is
- 54:31OK because it's made for my good.
- 54:34My God that created he created you so you really is cooked.
- 54:38I said all these things because I know what is true and you know
- 54:41you is cooked. You know you can never go and
- 54:54get saved. You know his crazy, his mercy
- 54:57was too from you when you're my son at the plot.
- 55:00Thought you could take on my God's spot now, but you can die
- 55:03hot. You was really tweaking.
- 55:05I come from the sun, from the one and the only straight from
- 55:07the heavens. You really owe me.
- 55:09I came from the sun. I was really with them.
- 55:11The heavenly places I'm see the living.
- 55:14Y'all can't even go that way. Y'all don't even know that way.
- 55:18Y'all want to play like Patty Kay but this ain't no game but a
- 55:22stairway.
