- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Coming up on the big cut tea couch.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: Am I the Grim Reaper?
- 0:03SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: Dressed like this.
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: Your arms have never been more muscular.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: Wait, you were grabbing it the other day and you said it's as big as your head.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: It's as big as my head.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: I have a surprise for you.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: What?
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, you're gonna be so stick around.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: Oh, I want it hard and long and slow.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: I want it fast and weird.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: I want it burlesque.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: I want a burlesque.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I want to burlesque.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: You burlesque.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: Hi! Hello.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: Things are a little after dark tonight.
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, where's the crop?
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: The whip.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, you have I guess you used a few.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: I did that with like your teacher.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: I know it's been a lot of punk kind of look.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: This is kind of in close proximity to the purple look.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: I don't know, my chemical romancey kind of like punky.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: This is a different kind of punky.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: This is different.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: It's funky skunky.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: Skunky for sure.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: What a funny hair story you've landed on.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Because uh we did a little shake and go today.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Well, you did two little shake and goes today.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we stacked it.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: I um and I was so happy you wrote thought of a shake and go.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: Because the possibilities are endless when you go in one of those stores.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Well, we were so freeing to not have to deal with a big styled wig and just go in and be like, it's out of the bag.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: Well, also, wig technology has improved in the last decade.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: I definitely post-COVID, the wigs at the beauty shops have elevated.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: They all have like invisible lace, all that stuff.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: You can get an amazing unit for 80 bucks.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: This is 45.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: I I kept looking at the higher prices, and the woman was like, this is cheaper.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, okay.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: She's like, you have a core problem.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Like, whatever.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: But yeah, so because I'm wearing a hat, I went cheaper and flatter and dumber and more accessible than ever.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Accessible than that.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: You too can have this here for$45.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Well, the um your like classic Gina half up, half down wig is actually two beauty shop wigs that we stacked together and then added and added a ponytail too, right?
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: So it's three beauty shop uh units in one.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, maybe I'm a shaking go girl.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: That wig is amazing.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: I love that wig.
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: It's something about that is truly like uh it almost feels like a human blend.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: It's like yeah, it does.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: And I think I like a shake and go because they're always so trendy because of like whatever.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: Obviously, they're for sale.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: They're responding to the trends.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: The trends, yeah.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: So it speaks to my style of drag, I think.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: A little crossy, a little female illusion.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: A little accessible.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, a little hot comb, hot tools.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: I use the cone.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: This is very like.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: No clamp here.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: That's a curling iron joke.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, it's just the cone.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: We just coned it real quick.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: How are you?
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: I'm good.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: This is um Well, for starters, it's the Big Country Couch.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: It's the Big Country Couch.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: Woo-woo.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: And introduce yourself.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: I am Gina Bugatti, aka Angie Balasone.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: And I'm Mike Fails, and this is the Big Country Catch, as we said for the 14th time.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: We're we're a little we're weird because we're changing up our format a little bit because we're gonna do a long kind of um loosey-goosey check-in.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: And then we are uh the reason for the season today is we are reviewing Burlesque! Burlesque the uh cultural phenomenon.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: The seminal 2010 musical movie.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Is it a cult?
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Uh I would say it's on the line.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Uh soon.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Soon, soon, soon after this.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, after this, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: It's pretty canon.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: It it is, yes.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of uh I mean Wagon Wheel Watusi is is you know in the Bible.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Follow Wagon Wheel Watusi daily.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: I highly recommend.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: It's truly just a daily clip of uh Cher saying Wagon Wheel Watusi.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: We will uh be getting into talking about burlesque, and then we're gonna do a full uh movie review, a la our wicked review, but it will be behind the paywall.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: So if you want to get the absolute top-to-bottom dissection of the uh of the classic film, you'll have to go over to Patriot.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: Go and pay us.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: Uh but in the meantime, how are you?
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: I'm geared.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: I'm um, I don't know.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: Fine.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: You're fine.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: Fine.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: I'm weird.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: I'm getting there.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: It's your eyeliner.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: It's wearing me.
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: Uh well, I guess we could we could dive into who you're wearing and what is your problem.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: I'll start uh because uh you know, you're talking about what everything that you've got on, but I'm wearing fucking leather chaps.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: So oh my god.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Uh these are my costume chaps from Aaron's uh 40th birthday party.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: You're gonna bring them out uh for not a costume soon, I feel.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: They were cheap.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: They were from uh Reminiscence, that costume shop in uh off Union Square.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: That one's kooky.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: It is kooky.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: It leans like Shakespeare uh a lot of like cloaks uh and capes.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: It has a whole like tempest section.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: It does, literally.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: But it also had a pretty stocked leather section.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: But I've also found there's there's a lot of leather chaps in almost every like L train vintage in Brooklyn.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: I guess because a bargain.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, for costumes.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Well, a real pair, I guess, would be really expensive or something.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: Totally, yeah.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: And what would you wear with that normally, like if you were trying to be horny?
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: You would ditch your jeans?
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: Like a jock, a leather jock.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Or a thong.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: A cod piece?
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Little yeah, a little studded cod piece.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: I never heard of a cod piece until you told me that once.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, why did I what was I saying?
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: You say it a lot.
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: Where's the cod piece?
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Where's the cod piece?
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: Have you seen my cod piece?
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: But you look uh cute, like a tucked-in little boy, I said.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Oh, thanks.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: Which is so weird because I'm literally wearing leather chaps and like uh Yeah, well, so do my kids.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: This cuff is vintage uh Mike Fail's weekend.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: Well, it's vintage sisters weekend, but it was do you know where I got it from?
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: I got it from HM when I was in middle school, and I was like, this is gonna be my personality, and then I never I never wore it once.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: Well, you you bought that in earnest.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because I was like, I'm gonna try to be to be a little punk.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: Because you know, I am naturally alt, but you know, I never had a studded belt, I never had a studded cuff, never put it on.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: I was too embarrassed.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, that is a curveball.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: I'm surprised.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: That's so funny.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: It's a little um like uh weathered.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: It's a little like uh female.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: Well like like I can it makes sense that that's from HM.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's not really like we're we're nodding to uh certain lifestyle.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: That's a little nudge, a little wink, yeah.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: Uh I lean punk too, like in general.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: I kind of just accepted.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: So funny when um we were doing crust bunker steampunk with with Lily and Darone in season one.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: We gotta bring that back.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: And Lily um mis mis uh cast us as as crust bunker steampunk.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: But it makes sense.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: Like I understood their uh explanation, but ultimately it in the moment, yeah.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: End of day, end of time, end of eternity.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: You are steampunk.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: And you're crustpunk.
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: I don't shower.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: I mean, I I smell like poop.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: I smell like poop and garbage.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: Um you told me I had poop breath.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: You did uh sign of a good episode to come.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: It is, and also it's a it's it is kind of uh like a must that a drag queen has bad breath.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: It just is just it has to happen.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: I don't want to hear it.
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: But it it does, it means you're part of the group, you're part of the species now, you know.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: So true.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: What I did say was a halatosisy kind of art form medium.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: Because it's like the last thing you're thinking about is dental hygiene, and you're putting on the rest of it.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: But I did say like you actually you achieved full poop.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: I'll smell you.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: That should get never been done.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: Uh I actually forgot to brush my teeth because again, I was uh not, you know, thinking about dental hygiene when I started my day.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: Which is so funny because we we've got so much to catch up on, but we were uh we went to a wedding last weekend and we were we shared a hotel room, and you were like, You're so up to up to speed on your dental hygiene.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I'm just brushing my teeth literally.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: Twice a day.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: No, it was in the morning and then before we went out to the wedding.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: It's like And then at night, he has a really uh heavy-duty dental program.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: I really don't think so.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: I I definitely don't think I brushed my teeth three three times.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: No, it was a solid two.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: It was two, an airtight two.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: Like you don't miss that second washing ever.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: Do you well if I'm going out somewhere or trying to feel like put together, I will brush my teeth again.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: Like I did brush my teeth before we record.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: I brush my teeth before we record every episode.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: Wow, I wish I could get there.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: I mean literally we all do.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: I did brush my teeth here because you have you gave me a little wooden toothbrush once and I have it, and I was like, what the fuck is this?
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: So I used it and then I had to find your charcoal toothpaste.
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: I'm like, It's good.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: What is this?
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: No, that toothpaste was like left here, and I just like stole it.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: But um, it weirdly like makes your teeth look brilliant white for a few minutes because it's like got a cool tone to it.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: People think I have bright white teeth put in their calcium stains that blow out in the light.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: Thank God.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: Do they look bright right now?
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but your teeth look great.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: Thanks.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: Um and I'm wearing a shirt that says Tough Guys Never Quit.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: Um Tough Guys Never Flinch.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: Flinch.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: Um I have no idea what this is in reference to.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: I'm like, is it boxing?
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: Is it like like is like a timer for like doing Take that to Google, maybe yeah.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: And I, you know, I typically um don't wear shirts I don't know the origin of to, you know, out of fear of yeah, yeah, you know, because who knows?
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: But it's like this time I was like, you know what?
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: It's vaguely like horny and kind of masculine, and so I was like, well, I'm gonna go for it.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: But I'm sure it's like Nazi.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: It's Nazi, yeah.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: So is so is this.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: Uh Jesus.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: And what is your problem?
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: Oh, oh, okay.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: My problem is that there is not enough good, listenable Halloween music.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: People should release more music like on Halloween, or like around Halloween or for Halloween.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: That's why the Kim Petris Halloween albums are so great, because they're fun.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: And she has a whole Halloween album.
- 9:23SPEAKER_01: She's got two.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: What the fuck?
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: You've heard these before.
- 9:26SPEAKER_01: Like a party?
- 9:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:28SPEAKER_01: It's like background.
- 9:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it's not just Halloween themed.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: You can listen to it year-round.
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but they're all like spooky and like kind of funny, but like it's but they're dance music, party music.
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: But it's like, you know, Christmas music, holiday music, uh those are songs you actually kind of might want to sing, you know.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: Some of them are silly, but like who like what is a Halloween song?
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: Monster Mash?
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it's humiliating.
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: It's nobody wants to fucking sing the Monster Mash.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: So my problem is that there isn't enough good real Halloween music.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: Well, thriller, that's fine.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: It sucks.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: It's stretch.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: What else?
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: Uh I don't know.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: Because Halloween is such a big party holiday.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: You'd think there'd be more like Halloween albums.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: Halloween albums, Halloween.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: We should come out with a Halloween.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: We should, we should, yeah.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: Oh, you okay.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: I should, I should.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: Um sick.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, a lot of mandolin.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: A lot of like drumming your gourd.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: Which I do agree.
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: It's a lot of practical drums.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: Every harvest moon, yeah.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: And then um my other problem.
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: Sorry, you kept talking, and I was like that is the um the classic uh Mike and Gina lag, which we like Yeah, like my delay down to the second recently.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: It gets worse and worse.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: It's because I'm in my head and I know the key to life is listening.
- 10:40SPEAKER_01: You're listening, it's just on a delay.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: It's just so delayed.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it gets worse in drag.
- 10:43SPEAKER_01: So today today's gonna be even worse, as you all know.
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: As well now.
- 10:46SPEAKER_01: Um and then my other problem was when guys will take their hard penis or semi-hard penis and point it down in their underwear and pretend that it's a bulge, you know?
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: So I I really think if your dick looks bent in half, it's hard.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: I I've changed my algorithm to give me lots of gay male content.
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: I see a lot of bulges, I see a lot of guys literally putting dildos in their pants and pretending they have like an 11-inch like uh erection.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: But like, do you think I'm stupid?
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: Like, do you think like you don't respect yourself?
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: And you don't respect me if you think you can sneak a boner down and pretend that it's a bulge.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's that's out of control.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: Because it's just so obvious.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: You see a big bend.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: It's like, can't you just fluff it before that point?
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: Even the overfluff is like I would rather see a little bulge that's like real than a big fake bulge that's just your hard penis, you know?
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: Like, isn't that just doesn't it well a classic soft pen is always fun too?
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: So yeah, no need to have it bent in 40 different directions.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: Twisted and curled and tucked.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: It's uh rude and it's uh And it's false.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: It's fraud.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: It's fraud, yeah, I'm assuming.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: Oh, those are that's hard.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: Um very you should bend your penis in half.
- 12:01SPEAKER_01: I should, yeah.
- 12:02SPEAKER_01: That'd be funny for me.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: But that's on Patreon.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: Uh who are you wearing and what is your problem?
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: Who am I wearing?
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: I'm wearing a shit little uh lace bodysuit that like you bought me.
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: Well, you uh were like, I want to get this lace bodysuit as$130.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: And I was like, there's no way this lace bodysuit does not exist somewhere else in exactly the same pattern for a fraction of the price.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: And just like we found with these cups, we found that bodysuit on Amazon straight from China.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: It's uh similar, not the same, but uh No, it's exactly the same.
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, what a crime.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: I never wear bodysuits, so it's kind of fun to just be like in here.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: I am always encouraging you to wear bodysuits because you are you are body tea.
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: So I do have a good body when it's all um snatched and snorched and scorched and porch.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: What did I call these boots?
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: They're available boots?
- 12:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: The like whatever boots?
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: Something like that.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: Because they are whatever boots.
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: I said something else, but not coming to mind.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: And this is Abram Levy, R.I.P.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: The late Abram Levy, who uh did so many uh vinyl pieces for all uh drag race alum and so many uh girls who've competed, and so just the he was a huge staple in the community.
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: Definitely uh costume community.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: Costume community in New York, yeah, and he passed so suddenly and tragically, so sad.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: You guys like talked on the phone a few times.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he did the uh Christmas Angel thing that we glitter gooped and I sent it to him and he didn't respond, and then he died.
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: So uh that sucks.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: I kind of like you know have that sort of thing.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: Guess he didn't like it.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: There's so many instances in my life.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: Like, am I a dark, am I the grim reaper?
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 13:37SPEAKER_01: Dressed like this.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: There's been so many little things like that where I'm like gonna like I have an interview and then like the person dies or something.
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: Like literally, like Annabel Tolman was the stylist for the um uh Olson twins.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: And she was this cool British girl who I met on a Calvin Klein shoot back in the day, and she was so awesome.
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: She's like, You're so cool, like we should get coffee, and we had it in the cow, and she passed away.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: So everyone stay far, far away from me.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: Unless uh unless you you want what you deserve.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: Um yes, strange.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: This from Happy Halloween.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: This is from Gothic Wren.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: Gothic Renaissance.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: Is it or is it from Trash and Boss?
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: It is, okay.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: No, no, it's Gothic Wren.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: My past.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: I used to work there, and then Yeah.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: Wig storeship.
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: It's fun.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: It's kind of a fart fart look because it's a Patreon.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, this is my A game because you're paying and you get the best, don't you?
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: Um, and my problem, I have two problems.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: Okay, one is I really need to wean off doxycycline because I keep barfing, and it's like horrible because it comes on like that.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: You have to have like the right amount of food in your stomach before you like have it in the morning, and sometimes you just can't time it out right, or sometimes it just doesn't work.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: And you within a blink are running to the bathroom with a watery mouth and it's projectiles.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: So I was recently uh bringing swatches to a client.
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: Mary and I are doing a wedding in the fall, and I had a drop her off, and all of a sudden my mouth starts like fucking salivating, and I was like, I'm gonna barf in this lady's fucking face.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: I prayed to the gods and I like ate it.
- 15:14SPEAKER_01: One time I did with you.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: It is a bit of a mental game.
- 15:16SPEAKER_01: We were driving once in the tunnel, and I was like, hold on, stop what you're doing.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: You made me shut up so you could like I need to focus.
- 15:23SPEAKER_01: Protect yourself from vomiting and crashing.
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: So thank God what would I have done?
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: So she must have seen me guzzling all my water in my mouth, but I survived.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: That's crazy, horrifying.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: But like what there's nothing you can do.
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: Sometimes you have to be like, excuse me.
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, like, go vomit.
- 15:38SPEAKER_01: No.
- 15:39SPEAKER_01: She definitely caught a whiff of something.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: Maybe it was bile.
- 15:42SPEAKER_01: No, but she saw something was changing.
- 15:45SPEAKER_01: Like I was like raking out in a cold shirt.
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: Are you okay?
- 15:48SPEAKER_01: She's like, because you seem to have like a lot of pile pouring out of your nose.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: Can you stop saying that?
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: Um You're like, just be quiet about that.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: Choose a swatch.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: Choose a swatch.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: And side note, she is having a hard time choosing the swatches.
- 16:07SPEAKER_01: Weddings are tough.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: Mothers of brides are tough.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: They can be, for sure.
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: Um she was like, it's not, these colors feel a little, and I was like, out of the bottle.
- 16:17SPEAKER_01: Like, girl, I know.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: I'm an artist.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: We're gonna talk.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: I know what you're gonna say.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: She's like, Yeah.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: Like, look outside.
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: Like the you know, everything's sort of subdued and layered and all.
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, okay, this isn't an oil painting, though.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: Unfortunately, unfortunately, it's your daughter's wedding.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: But it could be.
- 16:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: First day it's your daughter's wedding, and uh, it's you're getting bottled bottle blue.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: But why is mom in charge of what daughter's?
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: It's very New York.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: I feel like New York, you know, Brad goes either or like young gives the case.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: Because they got all the money and they Yeah, yeah.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: They're like, do something.
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: I don't give a shit.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: Whatever.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: She'll she'll pick a swatch.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: She will, she will.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: Um you are vomit prone, which is like I am.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: Like fun.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: You're I I'm not.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: I there's been so many times in my life where it's like if I just booted, I'd be fine.
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: But it's like instead, it all stays down.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: Except for like the one time I had like norovirus and I had to like projectile vomit in the street and a trash can rolled out from a garage right in front of me, like a miracle, and I was able to vomit directly into your own.
- 17:13SPEAKER_01: It's hilarious.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: Crazy.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, summoned it.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: I did.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: Because like God was like, this ain't normal for him.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: Get him, get him some help.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: Did you ever used to uh abuse laxatives in college?
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: No.
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: Um either.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: Uh remember I used to sing, is it still considered bulimia if I pooch from the butt?
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: Did I sing that last episode?
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: I don't know, but put that on the uh Halloween album.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: Because that's scary.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: Is it?
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: Kids, don't waste your time with that.
- 17:39SPEAKER_01: We watched uh uh Girl Interrupted Michael and I and Oh finally Andrew, finally, yeah.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: His dream came true.
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: Uh, why don't I get the call when Andrew's there?
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: Like, why don't I get the call?
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: Well, you know what I realized?
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: I was talking with Michael and he was like, Angelo and Andrew should should hang out more because Andrew is a party boy.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: Like he'll go out, he'll stay out till like five in the morning.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: So it's like if that's you know, you need somebody to be your wake.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: Sometimes I'm like go in.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: Sometimes we talk about doing it.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: You should.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: When he like the party's ending and he's going out to start his night.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 18:05SPEAKER_01: It's like your birthday's over, and you're like, okay.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm always considering.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: No, I do barf a lot.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: I barfed the other day in Sarah Sink.
- 18:12SPEAKER_01: Because there were construction workers, it was Doxy related.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: Again, that's my problem.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: I need a wean off, guys.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: Wait a week off.
- 18:18SPEAKER_01: Sarah Sink, because there were construction workers, it was Doxy.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: It's like, wait, what?
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: Like I was staying there.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: She had a construction workers building her a new drawer.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: So I couldn't go near the bathroom.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, I see.
- 18:30SPEAKER_01: Because I just was like, I can't.
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: And it was already pudging out of my like mouth.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: Uh, so I went in her sink.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: You gotta stop fucking nasty.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: You have to stop picking this.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: It was fucking nasty, but she didn't hear it.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: She had earbuds in.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: And I was like, dying.
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: You know when you kind of want to be like seen or like heard?
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: You're like, I want, I don't now want my parents to hear me barfing.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, vomiting is one of those things where it's like, I hope someone is hearing because it's like, are you okay?
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: She didn't.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: She's like, spreadsheet, spreadsheet, spreadsheet.
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: And I was right behind her, like spraying.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: Wait, she was at the kitchen table?
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: No, no, she was at like her little desk.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: So it's only like six feet away.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: And I'm like spraying out of every orifice.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: I realized that's what I said to your husband.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: Once like I was high, I was like fingering his ear, and I was like, he loves orifices.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: Like, you're the one in his orifice.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: No.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: But he does.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: Where's the line?
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: Um, and then my second problem is sorry, two.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: We just went to a wedding.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: Our friends, Christina and Liam.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: Congrats, congrats, congrats.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: Um Risdy friends back from back in the day.
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: What a beautiful uh weekend in New Hampshire.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: What a beautiful wedding.
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: Closing the goddamn door.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: No.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: Whoa.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: She is punk.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: She is punk.
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: So it was a beautiful weekend in New Hampshire, but I am forever crystallized in every single photo, looking like a waterlogged lesbian because I caught a weird illness the night before we left.
- 19:59SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
- 19:59SPEAKER_01: It's karma because I wore the same colored suit.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: Same colored suit as the groom, and I knew.
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: I knew he was wearing a pinky mauve.
- 20:08SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I kind of want to wear a pinky mauve.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: And he was fine with it.
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: He said, please do, I don't give a fuck.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: And I guessed that like he wouldn't.
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: But Christina was a little on the fence, and I was like, Yeah, I want to find something else.
- 20:19SPEAKER_01: And I was like, actually, Liam doesn't care.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: And also it's gonna be different, and it's not my day.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: It was different.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, I wouldn't you throw up again.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I wish I could go physical right now, but this hat is barely off.
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: Glute on, yeah.
- 20:40SPEAKER_01: Um that's what I get though.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: They were different, though.
- 20:42SPEAKER_01: They were different.
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: What do I get?
- 20:43SPEAKER_01: I we we drove up together and back, and then immediately upon getting home, I caught whatever.
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: I know, but you caught a light, light version, right?
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: I tried so hard not to give it to you.
- 20:51SPEAKER_01: Even though I was uh cuddling with you and coughing on uh your head.
- 20:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: But to be fair, we were scream singing the entire way up, smoking tons of cigarettes, and uh partying.
- 21:02SPEAKER_01: So, you know, it was okay, it was very high.
- 21:04SPEAKER_01: You would have I would get sick anyway.
- 21:05SPEAKER_01: Anyways, let's be serious.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: Who knows?
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: I would love if it wasn't for me, imagine.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: But it'd be cool if we don't know.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: We'll know we're not yeah.
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: But that's it was karma.
- 21:13SPEAKER_01: Honestly, karmically, I got the waterlogged cold medicine face.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: Sarah was like, You're not photographing well.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Thank you.
- 21:20SPEAKER_01: This is why we have unconditional love because like she can be like you look hideous.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's so just not- I know it's so important.
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: It's like everyone's gaslighting me.
- 21:29SPEAKER_01: They're like, You look mine.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: You look amazing, sweetie.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: I know I'm a little chubby, but like distorted face, bags under my eyes, but weird.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: I will say there's stuff going on with your body in general because your arms have never been more muscular.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: We took I took a video.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: Maybe I have to put it in because like you took a video where um uh Matt Cylinder was taking your photo and he had his flash on.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: There was like basically like making a giant bat signal of like your bicep in the sky.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: Your arm looked little there.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: It was huge.
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: You were grabbing it the other day and you said it's as big as your head.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: It's as big as my head.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: It's whoa.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: But uh yeah, I'm ballooning.
- 21:59SPEAKER_01: So you're The your problem was that you uh look like a karmically got like the Hediosa curse in photos.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: It's what I deserve.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: But it was such a fun uh car ride up.
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: Our road trip was really good.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: It was so fun.
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: We do have the ability to spend hours and hours and hours and hours and hours together and not like kill each other.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: Cause like we probably were driving for like six hours on the way back.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: It was a long time.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: After two to Rhode Island.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: We made it, we made a little mistakey poo there by making a pit stop.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: But whatever.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: It doesn't it it goes by.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: And it's not even like we need to talk.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: It was kind of like big chunks of silence.
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: I think it's which is which is again is like you need that in a in a in a friendship.
- 22:35SPEAKER_01: Um do you remember I feel like you're not real friends if you have to talk all the time.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: I agree 100%.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: You really not 100%.
- 22:43SPEAKER_01: If you're filling those holes, something's not right.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: People who pathologically can't stop talking out of like nerves, fear, or like uh yeah, nerves or something, or even just like lack of like awareness.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: Um that's really that's a tough uh yeah thing for me.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: I because I find I find that to be so draining.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you think when you're on the receiving end of that, it's so draining.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: I barely talk or think or do anything.
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: But what's so funny Yeah, you don't talk or think, yeah.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: But what's so funny, funny about that is like for the other person who's doing all the talking who can't stop, it's like it's draining for them to experience silence.
- 23:20SPEAKER_01: So it's like they do everything in their power to not let silence occur.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: So it's like, oh God, yeah, it's wild, it's horrendous.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: It really is.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: Um Tara was saying I'm so uh emotionless at weddings.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: I really am.
- 23:32SPEAKER_01: It's so funny.
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like why am I like that?
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: I'm just sort of like vacant, but that's how I am at every wedding.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: It could be like my closest, my family.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: I love to be there.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: There's a performative element to all weddings, and I don't perform.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: No, I refuse to like put it on.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: You're you're witnessing the performance.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: So there's a there is a level of artifice, artificiality to the experience.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: So you might just not be responding to that to it.
- 24:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:00SPEAKER_01: Um I love to be there.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: I'm having a great time.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: I just like I get kind of weird.
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: Nobody needs you to cry at a wedding.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: Never.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: I mean, forget it.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: I can't stop crying at weddings just because of my trauma, but it's like, you know, I cried at Samisha's wedding, I cried at uh Christina's wedding, but it's like that's I'm that wasn't me, you know.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: I know, but maybe that's cute in moderation.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're like rapid mommy's embarrassed now.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: Um but yeah, I got a little stoned because everyone was smoking at that wedding, and I think yeah, it was her parents' speech.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: And it was like everyone was feeling it, and I just go, I just said apparently I go, uh don't even remember like it just came out, which I mean, I mean that means I I I liked it.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: I was saying, aw, it just happened to sound really canned and forced.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: Aww.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: It's like well, whatever.
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: Christina, um, it was fabulous.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: It was so, so perfect.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: I've never been to a wedding with perfect more perfect weather.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: Beautiful.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: The vibes were vibing.
- 24:57SPEAKER_01: It was such a big group.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: I love Riszy weddings because everyone like turns their little pussy out.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: They do, they do, they do.
- 25:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:02SPEAKER_01: No one uh uh doesn't show up and show out and show off a little bit.
- 25:08SPEAKER_01: And uh RISD kids love to party.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: That's sort of the thing.
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they're hard workers, but they um are crazy, so they let off steam, a lot of steam, uh, which we love.
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: I wore the that gotier tank top underneath, and I took it off.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: I wore a Hugo Boss suit and then I took it off, and it wasn't just a regular beater, it was like a little something something.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, cute gotier buckle top.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: Everyone was living for it.
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:32SPEAKER_01: But I wore it at a gay wedding.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: Or at a Sam and Misha's wedding, and no one said shit.
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: Like it was very gays, cannot give the compliments.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: A straight wedding, it was like, wow, I was like, what people are really losing their mind over this thing.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: But you what do you think?
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: Baby caterers.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the caterer wouldn't get off money.
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: Uh but you have to remember that the gays, it's not that they don't like it, they're just not saying anything about it.
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: Right, they're clocking.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: They're clocking and they can't throw you a bone.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: And they never got my validation elsewhere this weekend, didn't I?
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: From onti.
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: And Cuzzy.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Uh but do you remember on the car ride up, we were being so gay, we were listening to different versions of uh part of your world.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: We were listening to Yeah, all three.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: OG, Jody Benson.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: And we were in and uh um Sierra Bogues, Hallie Bailey, um, and Broadway.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and we were uh a movie, and then we were in such traffic on the way up, we were like kind of crawling.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: We rolled the windows down, and you were like, We're the gay car, gay car, and then and then we were like, something about us basically is that like we love mermaids and penis.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: Penises, plural.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: No, I think it was penis.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: We love mermaids and penises.
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: I thought it was penis singular.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: No.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: Mermaids and penises.
- 26:49SPEAKER_01: Something about us is like basically we love pen uh mermaids and penises.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: I think it was singular.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: Anyway, but it's true, we love mermaids and penises and penis.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, it's penises.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: All right, maybe you're right.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: The gay car loves mermaids and penises.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: Basically, something about us is that we love mermaids and penises.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: We do.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: Like, but that really kind of sums up our type of gay.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: We love mermaids and we love penises.
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: Because some gays don't love pe- I mean, everyone loves cock, but uh some gays don't love it as much as like we do.
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: And some mer and some gays don't love mermaids at all.
- 27:15SPEAKER_01: Well, that's dark.
- 27:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: That's look within, hon.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: You're uh I think I have a contrapunt.
- 27:20SPEAKER_01: It's like calling a mermaid siren, contrapunt.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, right.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: You you said that, and I was like, mermaids are and sirens aren't the same thing.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: What are they?
- 27:27SPEAKER_01: Sirens are creatures that sound beautiful but then lure people to their deaths.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: Me.
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: You don't sound beautiful.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: You look beautiful.
- 27:35SPEAKER_01: Uh oh.
- 27:36SPEAKER_01: But everyone dies around me.
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, true.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: Uh, but mermaids are just uh half fish people.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: And they're usually cunty.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: Um, unless it's like fucking Harry Potter and they're like, oh god.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: That nothing is worse than like a not beautiful mermaid.
- 27:50SPEAKER_01: It's like, come on.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: No one wants to see the fish gill like special.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: But sirens aren't mermaids, so I don't think uh they're not?
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: I don't think they are.
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: I wish someone are you referencing like a line from a little mermaid song or something?
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: No.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, cup for like siren girl.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: Siren girl.

- 31:09SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 31:09SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 31:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, wait, that's actually white.
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: Let's see it.
- 31:12SPEAKER_01: I haven't even I haven't even really looked at it.
- 31:13SPEAKER_01: I can't get that.
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: You want me to do it?
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: But don't be fooled by that top one because it's actually white.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: Don't be fooled by the tones that I got.

- 31:23SPEAKER_01: You know I love turd.
- 31:25SPEAKER_01: You know I love tones, and you know I love turd.
- 31:27SPEAKER_01: Little jelly one.

- 32:00SPEAKER_01: Number two, classic brown, log jam, which is like a nice fudgy brown.
- 32:05SPEAKER_01: That's like you've been eating well.
- 32:06SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 32:07SPEAKER_01: Uh, dump and dazzle.

- 32:22SPEAKER_01: It's got yellow flex.
- 32:23SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: Just like the corn, my corn-studded turd.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: Crop dust.
- 32:27SPEAKER_01: That's beautiful.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: It's a great crease color.
- 32:29SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: Um, bowel babe, sweet relief, potty mouth, and of course, your dark skid mark.
- 32:39unknown: Oh my god.
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: Thank God.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: Every palette needs a white, close wipe, and a dark, dark skin mark.
- 32:45SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: Jesus Christ.
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: This is amazing.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: I thought you would really like that.
- 32:49SPEAKER_01: Tones of turd.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: We need to frame this.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: We get a frame it, we have to do a uh a tutorial with it.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, all turd all the time.
- 32:56SPEAKER_01: Apparently, it's their best-selling like product because it's like so fucking funny and bizarre.
- 33:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because it's like, do you think emoji, I guess, brought turd back?
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: Definitely.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: In a big way.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: Pooh is like Pooh is cute.
- 33:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: Unicorn like snot.
- 33:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:10SPEAKER_01: All that shit.
- 33:10SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 33:11SPEAKER_00: Aw, thank you.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: You're welcome.
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: I thought you'd like that.
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: Enjoy.
- 33:15SPEAKER_01: This will probably come out by like your birthday, so it'll be like uh thank you.
- 33:19SPEAKER_01: I love turds.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: That's so fucking funny and annoying that this is the world we live in.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: Poopy.
- 33:26SPEAKER_01: I'm really gonna find my uh crease with dump.
- 33:29SPEAKER_01: With skid mark.
- 33:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, skid mark.
- 33:30SPEAKER_01: Darken it out with skidmark.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: Skidmark is gonna shake it.
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: Skinmark would be like black, but I guess it's sort of like asphalt-y road kind of too.
- 33:36SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it was a dusty black.
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: And I love these.
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: My mom tried to get me like an off-brand.
- 33:41SPEAKER_01: It's like jelly beans and candy corn, you gotta go bracks.
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: She got me like Joshua's.
- 33:47SPEAKER_01: Why is it saying mallow cream creme?
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: I was like, is that that's what candy corn is.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: We're gonna have to bust those open later.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: Um, because I'm I know, I do one bag a season.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: Well, you don't have to do it this time.
- 33:56SPEAKER_01: I have thank you.
- 33:58SPEAKER_01: We'll yeah, we'll show we'll put a pick out.
- 34:00SPEAKER_01: I wanna get I really wanna get text tattooed.
- 34:02SPEAKER_01: That's cool.
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: But it's so hard to decide.
- 34:06SPEAKER_01: And what I think I want, this is gonna be embarrassing.
- 34:09SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 34:09SPEAKER_01: In Italian, which is like so Guido's.
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 34:12SPEAKER_01: I know, but like what else do you do?
- 34:14SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 34:19SPEAKER_01: Oh, because the truth is anything you want it to be.
- 34:22SPEAKER_01: So listen, this is really corny, but I'm like, I do kind of like it.
- 34:26SPEAKER_01: Um, and again, I just more like the aesthetic than actual anything meaningful.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: So I'm like, I just need an excuse to get text.
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: Cool.
- 34:32SPEAKER_01: Maybe it's Joanne, maybe it's La Vita Dolce, whatever.
- 34:35SPEAKER_01: The fuck that said.
- 34:37SPEAKER_01: But um, you this is all coming from drugs are not the truth.
- 34:40SPEAKER_01: Which I used to have a post-it in my room that said drugs are not the truth.
- 34:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:45SPEAKER_01: Because I would get high, I was going through a lot.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: So I would spiral and have all these things.
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: I would ruminate constantly and be like, wait, are drugs the truth or are they not?
- 34:52SPEAKER_01: And the truth is, well, whatever you want it to be.
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: So the truth is ours.
- 34:56SPEAKER_01: Cute.
- 34:57SPEAKER_01: I like that.
- 34:57SPEAKER_01: It's pretty embarrassing.
- 34:58SPEAKER_01: I'll probably kill myself if I do it.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: La Cosa Nostra.
- 35:00SPEAKER_01: That's the uh the mob.
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: I wish I was in the mob.
- 35:05SPEAKER_01: Oh, I had a contrapunt.
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: Um uh made service at the hotel.
- 35:09SPEAKER_01: Depends on the hotel.
- 35:10SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 35:10SPEAKER_01: If it's uh, you know, a typical holiday in Marriott thing, no, it's punt for me.
- 35:18SPEAKER_01: I was like, don't come in until I'm gone.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: No, I hate that.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: It's really annoying.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: I usually tend to do do not disturb.
- 35:25SPEAKER_01: Because I like to, you know, you have you're there for a little limited time, so you want to make a little like your piles.
- 35:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:32SPEAKER_01: You want to like kind of nest as much as you can, even if it's like a certain towel that's like or like you want to make a mess.
- 35:38SPEAKER_01: Like you can just be a slob until it's time to go and then you're gone.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:42SPEAKER_01: But sometimes people think that's like cheap because you don't want to tip.
- 35:45SPEAKER_01: But it's like no one was tipping maids like 15 years ago.
- 35:49SPEAKER_01: No, that's not true.
- 35:50SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 35:50SPEAKER_01: Um Just my parents?
- 35:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:53SPEAKER_01: But uh, no, I know what you mean.
- 35:55SPEAKER_01: Um I hadn't I don't think of it that way, but now I feel like oh maybe I should always tell something out.
- 36:00SPEAKER_01: But um But our hotel, they didn't they didn't seem to want to do one thing.
- 36:03SPEAKER_01: No.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: They were like, we do we do every other day.
- 36:06SPEAKER_01: Perfect.
- 36:07SPEAKER_01: They were like, every third week we will um bring you a towel.
- 36:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:11SPEAKER_01: Whether you like it or not.
- 36:12SPEAKER_01: On the way there, we were like, oh, maybe we'll like get kill some time, get a drink at the bar, find like a restaurant, anything there.
- 36:16SPEAKER_01: No, and then it was a Hampton Inn.
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: Nothing.
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: Are you kidding?
- 36:19SPEAKER_01: It was K Cup City, literally.
- 36:20SPEAKER_01: Like we got there.
- 36:21SPEAKER_01: And we couldn't even make coffee in a room because it was like broken or something.
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: So it was like Yeah, it was set up for a pod type of situation, and it it was the wrong thing.
- 36:28SPEAKER_01: And I I I'm like, does no one report that?
- 36:31SPEAKER_01: Like, do they know?
- 36:33SPEAKER_01: They might not.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: Well, but also that's the thing where it's like nobody wants to deal with anything.
- 36:38SPEAKER_01: Even the c even like the the guests don't want to deal with the with the hotel.
- 36:41SPEAKER_01: So, like they don't report it.
- 36:42SPEAKER_01: They're like, I'd rather not.
- 36:43SPEAKER_01: Do you think I wanna go talk to her that they have to make coffee in my room?
