- 0:02Speaker 1: Welcome to mediumship Sparks, where we connect more deeply with
- 0:05Speaker 1: spirit and source and follow the sparks of insight and
- 0:08Speaker 1: inspiration that bring us greater awareness, healing, and just more
- 0:11Speaker 1: flow into our lives. I'm Noel dean intuitive medium, licensed
- 0:15Speaker 1: therapist and your host. A quick note before we begin.
- 0:18Speaker 1: This podcast is for educational purposes only and provides general information.
- 0:22Speaker 1: It is not medical or psychological advice and is not
- 0:25Speaker 1: a substitute for care from a licensed health professional. I'm
- 0:28Speaker 1: so grateful we get to step into this together. Let's
- 0:31Speaker 1: dig in. Welcome to the show. If we have a
- 0:34Speaker 1: special treat. Michelle so generously is willing to come here
- 0:38Speaker 1: and talk about her own experience in trepidation in doing mediumship.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Michelle and I are in at least one class together
- 0:47Speaker 1: through Tony Stockwell, who you would have heard me talk
- 0:49Speaker 1: about many times. He is a teacher who I love
- 0:52Speaker 1: taking courses with, and I feel a lot of freedom
- 0:55Speaker 1: and creativity in what he offers in certain ways, even
- 0:59Speaker 1: though he has a very traditional background, in some ways,
- 1:02Speaker 1: he's very non traditional. I love that because I don't
- 1:05Speaker 1: want to follow what feels inauthentic to me. I want
- 1:10Speaker 1: to come into this conversation with Michelle and asked Michelle
- 1:16Speaker 1: to start from the beginning of where she's at with
- 1:19Speaker 1: her journey right now in learning mediumship, practicing or supporting
- 1:24Speaker 1: other people by using medium. So, Michelle, where did you
- 1:27Speaker 1: start with this journey?
- 1:31Speaker 2: A few years ago? I had started taking intuitive automatic
- 1:35Speaker 2: writing classes. That's how it started, and the different classes
- 1:40Speaker 2: different teachers. One teacher I came across recommended Tony Stockwell's
- 1:45Speaker 2: I'd keep an eye on his website, I'd listened in
- 1:48Speaker 2: on some of his stuff, but the big one was
- 1:50Speaker 2: this course that you and I are in right now,
- 1:53Speaker 2: and I felt like it was a real big stretch
- 1:55Speaker 2: for me. I don't even know that it was a goal.
- 1:57Speaker 2: It was just a big stretch experience, and so people
- 2:00Speaker 2: had mentioned him in high regard. I've really enjoyed his
- 2:03Speaker 2: teachings in the class, I didn't really I know it
- 2:08Speaker 2: said mastering your mediumship, but I really didn't know that
- 2:11Speaker 2: it was people who did profession right where they got
- 2:14Speaker 2: aid to do it. And so then I was like, oh, gosh,
- 2:17Speaker 2: this is way above my experience level. But I've enjoyed it.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I enjoyed the practice, I enjoyed connecting with the people.
- 2:24Speaker 2: What resonated with me was when I'm doing my readings
- 2:29Speaker 2: and when I have practice groups and classes. If I
- 2:31Speaker 2: think about it, I'm like, Okay, that's how it comes in.
- 2:34Speaker 2: And actually, in some ways it comes in when I
- 2:36Speaker 2: do my writing. The first six months of doing any
- 2:42Speaker 2: kind of classes, I kept showing up but starting to say,
- 2:47Speaker 2: let's just not come in that way. But it is
- 2:49Speaker 2: coming in, but just not that way. It was going
- 2:52Speaker 2: to come in how it wanted to the way it
- 2:55Speaker 2: was for me, and I just had to accept that
- 2:57Speaker 2: I wasn't going to get evidential stats. I finally just
- 3:02Speaker 2: decided to embrace I wasn't going to get name, date,
- 3:07Speaker 2: and serial number. Unlucky if I get gender. To be
- 3:11Speaker 2: honest with you, what mostly comes in for me is
- 3:13Speaker 2: the message, not a lot of evidence other than maybe
- 3:20Speaker 2: some things about their personality. Start speaking, I can see
- 3:26Speaker 2: that the other person has been moved to some sort
- 3:28Speaker 2: of emotion, so I could tell that it's resonating. I've
- 3:32Speaker 2: had to really come to some sort of terms with
- 3:38Speaker 2: Sometimes the exercise is whatever, whatever the exercise is, and
- 3:43Speaker 2: sometimes it doesn't come in like the way that the
- 3:45Speaker 2: teacher has assigned the exercise I used to be very
- 3:51Speaker 2: hard on myself, and then one day I just decided,
- 3:53Speaker 2: look at the teacher's going to come in the group
- 3:56Speaker 2: and listen to what I'm going to say, and if
- 3:58Speaker 2: they have something to say about it, I'm just going
- 4:01Speaker 2: to say. This is how it comes in for me.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I can't make it. I tried. I hear so many
- 4:06Speaker 2: people say, oh, I did a platform reading or gallery
- 4:10Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, that's so cool. But I couldn't.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I don't have that amount of the ability to do that.
- 4:17Speaker 2: But I've had moments where people have come in not
- 4:21Speaker 2: when I'm trying, and I'm like, oh my gosh, hello,
- 4:25Speaker 2: and they come in not in a class. I've had
- 4:29Speaker 2: one occasion where I brought it up to someone of
- 4:31Speaker 2: ay were as shocked as I was, but I knew
- 4:34Speaker 2: that I needed to give the message to this person.
- 4:38Speaker 2: I was as gentle as I could be, but it
- 4:40Speaker 2: was very shocking to them and they were reactive. And
- 4:43Speaker 2: then they came back and they apologized. They've reached out
- 4:46Speaker 2: to me since and wanted me to do it, and
- 4:48Speaker 2: I said, I don't know if I can do that again.
- 4:50Speaker 2: So I know it's there. I've done like a soul
- 4:54Speaker 2: to soul reading for a friend or two, and I
- 4:56Speaker 2: feel like it was really good. What I've really enjoyed
- 5:01Speaker 2: in any of the practices is that connection with spirit.
- 5:06Speaker 2: And I know that sounds nebulous to people who haven't
- 5:11Speaker 2: been working in this, so it's smart to say what
- 5:14Speaker 2: spirit is. I feel like that was bringing in the
- 5:16Speaker 2: messages for someone was exhilarating, but not earthly exhilaration. There
- 5:21Speaker 2: was some other things, a real big connection. You could
- 5:23Speaker 2: really feel like, Oh, this family member, loved one in
- 5:28Speaker 2: spirit is trying so desperately to communicate with this person
- 5:35Speaker 2: in the material world, and they're so busy with their
- 5:39Speaker 2: life or their grief and they just can't see it.
- 5:43Speaker 2: And I feel like that was compelling me to continue
- 5:48Speaker 2: studying it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I love that it sounds like compassion for the person
- 5:52Speaker 1: in grief as well as the compassion for the person
- 5:56Speaker 1: in spirit who's trying to make their presence known to
- 5:59Speaker 1: the person who, if they're shrouded in grief, probably can't
- 6:02Speaker 1: feel here see er since their loved one. I never
- 6:06Speaker 1: thought of the different feeling, because you're right about there's
- 6:12Speaker 1: an earthly exhilaration to doing something like normal, but doing
- 6:16Speaker 1: it really well. But it is different when you can
- 6:21Speaker 1: really have the experience of being Sometimes I say conduit,
- 6:25Speaker 1: but lately I find myself appreciating the term transmitter. I
- 6:30Speaker 1: don't want to say a translator because I really strive
- 6:34Speaker 1: not to actually translate. I want to as verbatim as
- 6:39Speaker 1: it comes in. I want it to go out unless
- 6:41Speaker 1: something feels off about it. Maybe I'm off I got
- 6:44Speaker 1: distracted because I was hungry, or I remembered, oh crap,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I was supposed to do something, and then set an
- 6:50Speaker 1: alarm for if I'm distracted. That's different. When I do readings,
- 6:55Speaker 1: I really work to be very grounded, and the more
- 6:59Speaker 1: ground I am, the less I worry about things coming
- 7:03Speaker 1: in they push me off center. It has happened very
- 7:05Speaker 1: few times, something feels not quite right and I'm not
- 7:09Speaker 1: sure of who exactly I'm connecting with or what their
- 7:11Speaker 1: intention is. It's rare, but we always have to have
- 7:15Speaker 1: our discernment on and look, I totally get that it
- 7:19Speaker 1: is really daunting to open your mouth in front of
- 7:22Speaker 1: a bunch of people that feel miles ahead of you,
- 7:25Speaker 1: because maybe they've been practicing for twenty years and you
- 7:28Speaker 1: just started two years ago. It would be easy to
- 7:31Speaker 1: feel very behind. Some of the people in our class
- 7:35Speaker 1: have been doing this since they were children. Talking about
- 7:39Speaker 1: picking up on information, I don't think we can control
- 7:43Speaker 1: how we pick up information. It comes to us, how
- 7:46Speaker 1: it comes to us. We can perceive it through the
- 7:48Speaker 1: ways we are capable of in that moment. I am
- 7:52Speaker 1: very clear that can change and evolve. When I first
- 7:55Speaker 1: started really dabbling in mediumship, I think my only really
- 8:00Speaker 1: strong Claire was Claire audience. I would get songs, I
- 8:03Speaker 1: would hear different clues about things, but that was mainly it.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I signed up for a medical intuition training course, which
- 8:13Speaker 1: I didn't know was mediumship. I thought it was just
- 8:15Speaker 1: using our intuition to get information. I remember the teacher saying,
- 8:19Speaker 1: you have to use Claire buoyance. You have to see
- 8:22Speaker 1: the information. It's the most neutral. So basically she was saying,
- 8:25Speaker 1: everything else you get you have to throw away, put aside,
- 8:29Speaker 1: don't listen to it. You have to ask to see things,
- 8:33Speaker 1: have them show you things. You can ask for things
- 8:36Speaker 1: in a particular way. But also it's a skill set
- 8:41Speaker 1: of getting quiet, trusting ourselves, being really grounded, being open.
- 8:47Speaker 1: It's like riding a bike and juggling at the same time,
- 8:50Speaker 1: you're watching where you're going, you're moving your legs. You
- 8:52Speaker 1: have to keep certain things going and paying attention to
- 8:55Speaker 1: those things the whole time you're moving along and you
- 8:57Speaker 1: don't want to run over a pigeon. And then it's
- 9:00Speaker 1: a point we take for granted that it becomes easy
- 9:04Speaker 1: because we're used to it. With mediumship, I feel a
- 9:07Speaker 1: level of ease with it. I've done a lot of practicing.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I've taken a lot of courses. This has been my
- 9:15Speaker 1: main focus for like ten years. I have a history
- 9:19Speaker 1: back further than that of going to a spiritualist church,
- 9:22Speaker 1: taking healing courses, being part of a mediumship circle. I
- 9:26Speaker 1: took a long, slow path. I interviewed somebody recently had
- 9:30Speaker 1: a huge spiritual awakening that was like a crash and
- 9:33Speaker 1: burn kind of thing. For the last ten years, she
- 9:36Speaker 1: has been completely immersed in all of this stuff. Now
- 9:39Speaker 1: she's doing amazing stuff. So time isn't necessarily as important
- 9:43Speaker 1: an element as it might seem. I want to say
- 9:45Speaker 1: something about evidence. It is easy to look at videos
- 9:50Speaker 1: of other mediums, like professional mediums, and be like, I
- 9:54Speaker 1: never get how old somebody was when they passed away,
- 9:57Speaker 1: or how they passed away. There's a lot of things
- 10:00Speaker 1: that I don't pick up on either. I have discerned
- 10:03Speaker 1: for myself what feels like a priority, and evidence just
- 10:07Speaker 1: isn't that. This is just my take on I want
- 10:11Speaker 1: evidence to be in the form of validation when I'm
- 10:15Speaker 1: doing a reading, that it's unmistakable that this is your
- 10:18Speaker 1: person because of what they said, what they brought up,
- 10:21Speaker 1: what they didn't say, even little inside jokes they might
- 10:25Speaker 1: make through my mouth tell you it's that person, but
- 10:29Speaker 1: I'm not looking for And he wore a three piece
- 10:32Speaker 1: tweed suit every day, and I'm seeing his brown wingtip shoes. Ironically,
- 10:38Speaker 1: as I continue to take classes and I have places
- 10:42Speaker 1: with friends that I practice with, and I do readings,
- 10:45Speaker 1: it does continue to expand and grow as I'm doing that,
- 10:50Speaker 1: but not because I'm trying to force it. And I
- 10:53Speaker 1: really mean this. If I efforted, consciously efforted to try
- 10:59Speaker 1: to make stuff come in, I don't know what I
- 11:03Speaker 1: would even get.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Yeah, what happens for me specifically is I'll feel parts
- 11:11Speaker 2: of the body where the injuries or the chronic but
- 11:15Speaker 2: I don't know anatomy. It's not a doctor, so I'll
- 11:18Speaker 2: be like it's on the left side, or it's on
- 11:20Speaker 2: the right side, or I feel it in the head,
- 11:23Speaker 2: and then the sitter will say, oh, yes they had
- 11:26Speaker 2: this or yes they had that, and I'll be like, oh,
- 11:28Speaker 2: I didn't even know that. I don't know the names
- 11:30Speaker 2: of the conditions. And I will get that the point
- 11:34Speaker 2: in the body or if they had arthritis or pain
- 11:37Speaker 2: in their joints or whatever. So that's how it comes
- 11:39Speaker 2: in as evidence. That's evidence, and that's how they come
- 11:43Speaker 2: in for me. The teachers may not say that wasn't
- 11:45Speaker 2: the assignment. No one's ever said. It's just been more
- 11:48Speaker 2: my worry. One time I had a teacher say, our
- 11:51Speaker 2: assignment is to claire Ol factory smell, and for the
- 11:56Speaker 2: life of me, I couldn't make it happen because I
- 11:59Speaker 2: would described dirt. She's what does it smell like? I'm
- 12:02Speaker 2: like dirt, and she's not doing it. I'm laughing a
- 12:05Speaker 2: little bit because I thought I can't. But then about
- 12:08Speaker 2: a month later, I'm smelling someone's cologne. It doesn't live
- 12:12Speaker 2: in my house, and I'm like, anybody else smell that?
- 12:15Speaker 2: And they're like no, and I'm thinking, okay, so it's
- 12:18Speaker 2: coming in. Now it comes in. What it wants.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I love that. Let's discern evidence versus information. Yeah, evidence
- 12:27Speaker 1: in the way that we're talking about it, I can
- 12:29Speaker 1: imagine you having a very high standard, whereas to me,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I didn't know anatomy. When stuff comes in like just
- 12:36Speaker 1: how you're describing it, I'm getting the pain right here.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Sometimes I'll feel that from the person in spirit, but
- 12:41Speaker 1: not that often. And I am empathic and have clar sentience,
- 12:46Speaker 1: which is where you feel things in your body. But
- 12:49Speaker 1: I feel like each connection can be really different. It's
- 12:53Speaker 1: going to depend on the person in spirit. How relaxed
- 12:56Speaker 1: you are. Try to imagine that the chair that you
- 13:02Speaker 1: sit in to do your practice is like a sacred zone.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Get comfortable in your chair, sit back and really try
- 13:10Speaker 1: to just get as as you can ah, no expectations,
- 13:17Speaker 1: no pressure, as much as you can. Just clear your mind,
- 13:21Speaker 1: try to think of just nothing. Just get a little
- 13:25Speaker 1: comfortable in just that stuff is going to float through
- 13:29Speaker 1: a little bit here and there, and it doesn't matter.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Like meditation, the point isn't absolute silence in your head, right,
- 13:36Speaker 1: it's just engaging in exercise. Let's get a sense of
- 13:42Speaker 1: anything you're feeling in your body. You're a baseline if
- 13:45Speaker 1: you've got a pain in your lower left back. Notice that. Okay,
- 13:50Speaker 1: is there somebody in spirit, maybe a spiritual guide or
- 13:54Speaker 1: a loved one that you feel safe and comfortable with
- 13:58Speaker 1: connecting to.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I haven't really connected in spirit through me with anybody,
- 14:06Speaker 2: but oftentimes the person he's doing the reading for me
- 14:11Speaker 2: when we have practice, usually it's my dad. My mom
- 14:16Speaker 2: sometimes will come through from them, but not directly me.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Gotcha, that totally makes sense. Would you feel safe inviting
- 14:26Speaker 1: either your mother or your father to come in very
- 14:29Speaker 1: close to you?
- 14:31Speaker 2: Sure?
- 14:32Speaker 1: Which one?
- 14:34Speaker 2: I'll say my dad.
- 14:35Speaker 1: So just think of your dad right now, and you're
- 14:40Speaker 1: inviting him to come in really close, like all the
- 14:43Speaker 1: way in as much as he can.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I hear the words I'm already here more Claire cognizance.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Just know great job.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Other than that he's here, is there some other message
- 14:56Speaker 1: or knowing that he wants to share with you right now?
- 15:00Speaker 2: See what first looked like a sine way, like a
- 15:02Speaker 2: wave like up and down, But then it just turned
- 15:05Speaker 2: into a hill. There's small hills, and this one hill
- 15:08Speaker 2: had this big bright light on it. It was like
- 15:12Speaker 2: just basically saying, I've just come to the top of
- 15:15Speaker 2: this one nice little hill.
- 15:17Speaker 1: It's a little clairvoyance. Let's just give him a moment,
- 15:20Speaker 1: take his time.
- 15:21Speaker 2: First. I saw what looked like a big paper map unfolding.
- 15:26Speaker 2: I asked for you showing me a big map, and
- 15:29Speaker 2: I heard just say it. So I just have to
- 15:32Speaker 2: say what it is. Typically my clairvoyance is blurry, but
- 15:36Speaker 2: it's there, and I just have to say the thing
- 15:38Speaker 2: that I see.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Sometimes, if what in your mind's eye is blurry, maybe
- 15:45Speaker 1: you can look around a little bit, focus on what
- 15:48Speaker 1: seems a bit clearer, and then see if that becomes
- 15:52Speaker 1: even a bit more clear.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I see what looks like a braid. I'm seeing that
- 16:00Speaker 2: it's being braided together. All the pieces are there, you're
- 16:04Speaker 2: combining them. We saw their hair braid. I see just
- 16:08Speaker 2: a variety of colors. It's almost like something is coming
- 16:13Speaker 2: into view and then it just fades away. It dissipates.
- 16:17Speaker 2: It's coming in, and I feel a little bit like
- 16:20Speaker 2: I'm trying too hard.
- 16:22Speaker 1: You can't control what comes in, but you can control
- 16:27Speaker 1: where your attention is, your intention for stuff to come in,
- 16:33Speaker 1: how relaxed you can try to make yourself be so
- 16:39Speaker 1: then there's not an extra barrier.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I have to say it as I see it, because
- 16:45Speaker 2: more starts coming in. It starts off with like a
- 16:49Speaker 2: visualization or some sort of visible thing right or whatever
- 16:53Speaker 2: I see, But I have to start talking because that's
- 16:57Speaker 2: the faucet. The speaking is the turning onto the faucet,
- 17:01Speaker 2: and then the rest starts to come in more there cognizantly.
- 17:05Speaker 2: It comes in phrase by phrase. If you have one
- 17:10Speaker 2: person with a navigation thing, it's only going to tell
- 17:13Speaker 2: you the next turn. It's not going to tell you
- 17:15Speaker 2: the next five turns. It'll confuse you. It's only going
- 17:17Speaker 2: to get just this moment. You can only take one
- 17:20Speaker 2: bite at a time.
- 17:22Speaker 1: If you're feeling that pressure to say it exactly how
- 17:24Speaker 1: you're getting it, that's how they're training you to do it.
- 17:26Speaker 1: My actual secret of confidence, not that it's a big
- 17:30Speaker 1: secret because I do talk about on the podcast, but
- 17:33Speaker 1: I cannot overstate how much this helps me. I started
- 17:39Speaker 1: doing it to stay out of my head because if
- 17:41Speaker 1: something came in and I was like, am I getting
- 17:44Speaker 1: this right? I will get stuck in my head. This
- 17:47Speaker 1: is what I do, and I do it all the time.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Please show me a yes, Please show me a no.
- 17:54Speaker 1: It is the most paramount when I'm doing any kind
- 17:57Speaker 1: of connecting for myself to keep it clean and make
- 18:01Speaker 1: sure I'm on track and being neutral, or for anybody else.
- 18:05Speaker 1: If you don't have some kind of a check in method,
- 18:08Speaker 1: then I would highly recommend it for me.
- 18:11Speaker 2: You talked about the yes the no. My yes typically
- 18:16Speaker 2: is I just feel pressure in the back of that.
- 18:18Speaker 2: It's almost like a big hand. It just squeezes, not
- 18:22Speaker 2: bad or painful or anything. If I'm with a circle
- 18:24Speaker 2: of friends or whatever and they're saying something and I'm
- 18:27Speaker 2: like and it's a powerful yes, I'm like, I'm getting
- 18:29Speaker 2: a big yes on that. So that's how I'll share
- 18:32Speaker 2: that experience. Nothing will happen when it's a no. I
- 18:37Speaker 2: have not yet detected a no yes. One particular moment
- 18:42Speaker 2: that was powerful for me when I was doing a
- 18:44Speaker 2: practice class and I wanted to say it because you
- 18:47Speaker 2: talked about not just being in service, but that other connection.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I did a reading on two different occasions for a classmate,
- 18:55Speaker 2: and the person that called in spirit usd in a blend,
- 18:58Speaker 2: and the feeling that I got just brought me to tears.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I couldn't stop sobbing, and I just said, just love
- 19:06Speaker 2: you so much. Then after that class, I was crying
- 19:09Speaker 2: so much that I kept apologizing, and she says, that's okay,
- 19:13Speaker 2: just ask them to step back a little bit, and
- 19:15Speaker 2: I did and the crying stopped. But later on I
- 19:19Speaker 2: described it to my family, I said it was total
- 19:24Speaker 2: unconditional love. And I've never I've had kids, all the
- 19:28Speaker 2: wonderful things in life, and that is the closest thing,
- 19:32Speaker 2: but this is not like that. It's something else.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I probably heard the term somewhere, but I look at
- 19:37Speaker 1: it like clare empathy, and that will happen in readings
- 19:40Speaker 1: where I will just feel the emotion and my face
- 19:44Speaker 1: will start crying. It might be love, sometimes it's remorse
- 19:48Speaker 1: and sadness. But you're describing three different clayers so far.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Plus you were able to smell things with aliens.
- 19:55Speaker 2: That's the word.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I never know the time, So, sister, you've got four
- 20:00Speaker 1: you have access to so far.
- 20:03Speaker 2: All right, that's good to know. Right after I started
- 20:06Speaker 2: dabbling in astrology, and the assignment was to get when
- 20:10Speaker 2: the person passed, I saw the crab and I figured cancers,
- 20:15Speaker 2: like I picked June even though it's June July, and
- 20:18Speaker 2: they passed to June, so I got that as a
- 20:21Speaker 2: symbol I don't typically get numbers or anything like that,
- 20:24Speaker 2: but I got a symbols. I guess right. I guess
- 20:26Speaker 2: I could have picked July, but I got June. I
- 20:28Speaker 2: feel like that there's a lot more there than I
- 20:33Speaker 2: give myself credit for. One thing, of course, is not
- 20:37Speaker 2: never wanting to let somebody down, right, what if it
- 20:41Speaker 2: didn't come through? And so yeah, that would be that
- 20:46Speaker 2: I've had to come to terms with being okay with
- 20:50Speaker 2: not meeting somebody else's expectations of me. I think that's
- 20:55Speaker 2: probably one of the bigger parts of this overall journey,
- 20:59Speaker 2: beyond me, beyond sharing messages or anything like that. It's
- 21:05Speaker 2: really about being okay with your human fallibility.
- 21:13Speaker 1: I hope this is helpful, but I feel like letting
- 21:16Speaker 1: go of all of that stuff and just doing your
- 21:20Speaker 1: best for me. I'm just doing my very best to
- 21:23Speaker 1: be as connected as I can think to be without
- 21:26Speaker 1: trying to be right or get it right or sound
- 21:29Speaker 1: smart or I used to hear the grammar that somebody
- 21:33Speaker 1: on the other side would bring through. I would see
- 21:35Speaker 1: two words that they don't tensewise go together, and now
- 21:38Speaker 1: I'm just like, you know, what doesn't make sense grammatically?
- 21:41Speaker 1: But this is what I'm seeing. I don't even want
- 21:42Speaker 1: to correct that. I feel like I have become the
- 21:45Speaker 1: most honest version of myself. I really hope in my
- 21:48Speaker 1: podcast it continues to become more like, Look, I don't
- 21:52Speaker 1: have all the answers. This is what I'm picking up on,
- 21:56Speaker 1: and I'm just doing my best to earnestly share that's
- 22:00Speaker 1: so that I can grow and other people can grow.
- 22:02Speaker 2: But it's so funny you say that, because that's such
- 22:05Speaker 2: an important part. I listened to that one podcast that
- 22:07Speaker 2: you did where You're like, that doesn't even make sense,
- 22:10Speaker 2: but I'm going to say it anyway, and I remember that,
- 22:13Speaker 2: and as I'm hearing it again, I'm thinking, oh, that
- 22:17Speaker 2: just makes the message even that much more powerful. Need
- 22:20Speaker 2: to be caught up in your world of grammar and
- 22:23Speaker 2: stuff like this, because you possess a good command of
- 22:27Speaker 2: the English language. You know how to form a sentence
- 22:29Speaker 2: and know the right tenses and words to use. Right.
- 22:33Speaker 2: The thing is, if everything was so perfectly polished, then
- 22:37Speaker 2: it may be you, your human ego then more than
- 22:42Speaker 2: the spirit world. And I read years ago I was
- 22:46Speaker 2: guided to the law of One And if you've ever
- 22:49Speaker 2: read any of that, the way it's written, it's a
- 22:53Speaker 2: channeled message, but the grammar was really hard to you.
- 22:58Speaker 2: It's like reading something from the eighteen hundreds. You have
- 23:01Speaker 2: to really get into the mindset of like how do
- 23:03Speaker 2: they speak then? And it's a lot more lowery language
- 23:06Speaker 2: that was very difficult reading. It's not that because it's
- 23:10Speaker 2: poorly it didn't have poor grammar, but because the syntax
- 23:14Speaker 2: was difficult to read. It's not that it gives it
- 23:17Speaker 2: more credence, but it does to me in some ways. Yeah,
- 23:21Speaker 2: that's an important part because a lot of the things
- 23:24Speaker 2: that I get sometimes are through writing, and I get
- 23:27Speaker 2: some stuff that I'll go wow, I'll go back and
- 23:30Speaker 2: read it because it comes in so fast. It's not
- 23:32Speaker 2: great syntax.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Sometimes the grammar of things doesn't make sense as it
- 23:36Speaker 1: comes in. And just recently have I been like, you
- 23:39Speaker 1: know what, I'm not going to correct the grammar. These
- 23:42Speaker 1: are the words I'm seeing. I know it doesn't really
- 23:43Speaker 1: make sense. Let's remember our messages for other people are
- 23:47Speaker 1: not necessarily supposed to make sense to anybody. I'm just
- 23:50Speaker 1: doing my best to stay calm and quiet on the inside,
- 23:54Speaker 1: so then it just comes in and it comes out
- 23:55Speaker 1: of my mouth and it comes in, it comes out
- 23:57Speaker 1: of my That's all I'm trying to do. I don't
- 23:59Speaker 1: care it makes sense, and I love when it doesn't
- 24:02Speaker 1: make sense now, because you're right, that means that I'm
- 24:04Speaker 1: as out of the equation as possible. I used to
- 24:07Speaker 1: get super nervous and i'd have to really ground it
- 24:09Speaker 1: force myself. And now I just have to not think.
- 24:13Speaker 1: If I cannot think, I'm good because I'm not going
- 24:16Speaker 1: to get nervous. I'm not going to have performance anxiety.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I'm not going to worry about disappointing somebody. If I
- 24:21Speaker 1: can't make a link, it doesn't usually happen, but it
- 24:24Speaker 1: can happen.
- 24:25Speaker 2: One thing that I read is that all the earthly
- 24:29Speaker 2: feelings of what was equitable or what was right with
- 24:33Speaker 2: go that stays with the body, right, and so the conversation,
- 24:39Speaker 2: like even the one with my dad, it was like,
- 24:41Speaker 2: I've been here the whole time, you know what I mean.
- 24:44Speaker 2: They're just not concerned with the earthly worldly things because
- 24:48Speaker 2: the perfew is different. Right. I did one class recently
- 24:51Speaker 2: and I did a reading for my partner. As I
- 24:54Speaker 2: was telling it, I was like, oh, it was so good.
- 24:57Speaker 2: It came in when I went to tell my husband
- 25:00Speaker 2: about it. I said, I can't remember anything I said.
- 25:03Speaker 2: I guess I must have really done it because I
- 25:05Speaker 2: can't remember a word of it. But I know it
- 25:08Speaker 2: went well. I know the person was like, oh my god,
- 25:11Speaker 2: I'm like, what did I say? And that's a really
- 25:13Speaker 2: cool feeling too, because then you really know. I just
- 25:16Speaker 2: passed the note and class, I can't tell you what
- 25:19Speaker 2: was in it because I didn't open it.
- 25:20Speaker 1: You didn't interfere in any kind of way. I just
- 25:22Speaker 1: kept hearing ding ding ding ding ding. If I tried
- 25:25Speaker 1: to hang on to the information that was coming through
- 25:28Speaker 1: so that I could make sense of it later. Now
- 25:30Speaker 1: I'm thinking, and I'm trying to do media two do
- 25:33Speaker 1: not work together for me at all, So I give
- 25:36Speaker 1: up the trying to remember anything. If I do, it's
- 25:38Speaker 1: a bonus.
- 25:39Speaker 2: I had a thing in one of my classes of
- 25:41Speaker 2: the day. I wrote this thing down. The main thing
- 25:44Speaker 2: was the story. At the end, I was like, I
- 25:46Speaker 2: like this. I like it. I'd be like, should I
- 25:49Speaker 2: put that someplace? The point is it was so interesting
- 25:53Speaker 2: and it was very much in alignment with what people
- 25:57Speaker 2: call it mediumship or psychic or inuitive or remote viewing
- 26:01Speaker 2: or channeling or muscle testing or dowsing, it's all the
- 26:08Speaker 2: same thing. It's gonna look different. And then the truth.
- 26:13Speaker 2: My job isn't to provide you proof or evidence. What
- 26:18Speaker 2: I feel like my role is when somebody has been
- 26:22Speaker 2: desperately trying to come through and I'm sitting next to
- 26:25Speaker 2: the person that they want to have a message sent
- 26:27Speaker 2: to Tho're just gonna I'm there for a reason, and
- 26:30Speaker 2: I know I've seen spirit set ups. I've seen them.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I've been there, and you're like, I didn't expect that,
- 26:36Speaker 2: and who knew just how they do it? I don't know,
- 26:40Speaker 2: but they're there, and I'm there, I'm seeing somebody and
- 26:43Speaker 2: they're telling me the person that has come through has
- 26:47Speaker 2: been through some stuff in their human life, and that's
- 26:50Speaker 2: important to give that person because they're going through stuff
- 26:55Speaker 2: in their human life too, and this message can help.
- 26:59Speaker 2: But it's not my job to interpret it. It's just
- 27:01Speaker 2: to be like, they're here. And the question I got
- 27:04Speaker 2: from one person is do they see all the things
- 27:07Speaker 2: that I've done since they've passed? And they said they've
- 27:09Speaker 2: been there the entire time.
- 27:12Speaker 1: What made you say that?
- 27:15Speaker 2: Because that's what I felt to say, that was what
- 27:17Speaker 2: they wanted to say, when.
- 27:19Speaker 1: You were talking about getting messages, your whole being was
- 27:22Speaker 1: lit up, Michelle, So clearly you have a passion for this,
- 27:26Speaker 1: just like I do, just like everybody else in our course.
- 27:29Speaker 1: That's really the driving factor of all of it, is
- 27:32Speaker 1: that there is nothing quite like this when you feel
- 27:35Speaker 1: that connection when you pick up I look at it
- 27:38Speaker 1: like I'm not surprised, but I'm always amazed.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I got somebody who was still alive but their family
- 27:44Speaker 2: member was in advanced stages of dementia. And then another
- 27:48Speaker 2: time one of the people did a reading for me
- 27:51Speaker 2: for a family member. I'm like, this family member is
- 27:53Speaker 2: very much alive. We brought it up to the teacher
- 27:57Speaker 2: later and we were asking can this happen? I took
- 28:00Speaker 2: the message was it was from this family member's higher self.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I've been keeping journals, but I just do it day
- 28:06Speaker 2: by day. One time I was doing journaling and I
- 28:09Speaker 2: was writing, and it wasn't my typical writing, but it
- 28:11Speaker 2: was I had reached this point where I was coming
- 28:14Speaker 2: to this understanding us of my own frustrations and the
- 28:17Speaker 2: way the penmanship was angry. It was some of my
- 28:20Speaker 2: prouder words. But then I realized what the words were,
- 28:24Speaker 2: like a very wounded experience coming up and expressing itself.
- 28:29Speaker 2: And then it was like coming up to go out.
- 28:32Speaker 2: It was that artic kind of exercise. And then but
- 28:36Speaker 2: it's all those things that have come up, and it's
- 28:38Speaker 2: quite powerful to so many layers to it.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Oh absolutely, And what's occurring to me is, first of all,
- 28:47Speaker 1: there's so much healing available to us.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Yes, because you need to.
- 28:53Speaker 1: If you're going to really be a good receiving, you
- 28:56Speaker 1: got to clean up a lot of your own crap.
- 28:59Speaker 2: That's what I've known this in the few years. Like
- 29:02Speaker 2: it's almost like it's getting right in my face. And
- 29:05Speaker 2: if you're gonna have to look at it, it's like
- 29:07Speaker 2: spirit will bulldoze your life because it's coming in with
- 29:13Speaker 2: the super highway and it is coming right through your backyard,
- 29:16Speaker 2: and your backyard is full of shit. Right now, we've
- 29:18Speaker 2: got to clean that out.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Sorry, how a freakin' loujah. Though, Look, you're excited about this.
- 29:23Speaker 1: I can tell when you talk about actually being connected
- 29:26Speaker 1: versus all the crap about connecting that it's a very
- 29:30Speaker 1: different experience for you. And it's nice to see the
- 29:33Speaker 1: part about the actually being connected back to being more
- 29:36Speaker 1: of myself than I've ever been before. A lot of
- 29:39Speaker 1: my friends are very open to this or do this themselves.
- 29:43Speaker 1: It's like a freedom that I never thought I would
- 29:45Speaker 1: get to have. And I can totally see you that
- 29:48Speaker 1: way too. The more you embrace this part of yourself
- 29:53Speaker 1: that you have a fascination with, you have to be
- 29:56Speaker 1: on the right path because you're so excited about it.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Yeah, naturally, Yeah, that's very nice of you to say,
- 30:03Speaker 2: and it's very affirming because I would probably do it anyway.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Even if somebody came up said to me, you're wasting
- 30:10Speaker 2: your time or you're never going to be or whatever,
- 30:13Speaker 2: I would probably be like, yeah, Okay, I'm still going
- 30:15Speaker 2: to do it anyway.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Totally get that about you. I feel the same way exactly.
- 30:19Speaker 1: It's for you great if you give messages to other people,
- 30:23Speaker 1: but it makes our lives richer regardless of what we do.
- 30:28Speaker 1: And then there's what we feel pulled to do to
- 30:31Speaker 1: support other people. Just as I'm saying that, I'm seeing
- 30:34Speaker 1: a brick chimney, oh, and now I have the sense
- 30:41Speaker 1: of Santa Claus or some other present is going to
- 30:44Speaker 1: come down through the chimney and deliver thefts. Oh, I'm
- 30:49Speaker 1: getting you are a surprising messenger, and no one's more
- 30:53Speaker 1: surprised than you. It feels right to me to say.
- 30:59Speaker 1: And I'm getting a guess that you have a history
- 31:02Speaker 1: like the rest of us of being a message bearer
- 31:05Speaker 1: and possibly a fortune teller. So this isn't like your
- 31:10Speaker 1: first rodeo. That's where the fascination comes from. Is it
- 31:14Speaker 1: just this natural part of you. It's organic to your being.
- 31:21Speaker 1: And look, I tell my husband more than I used to,
- 31:24Speaker 1: but I'll tell my friend Maria. She'll get excited with me. Yeah,
- 31:27Speaker 1: I have people I can share this kind of stuff
- 31:29Speaker 1: when I'm like, oh my god, guess what, and they're
- 31:32Speaker 1: into it. So we have our people who are just
- 31:36Speaker 1: as enthusiastic, and then people who aren't, and we don't
- 31:39Speaker 1: have to share with them because it doesn't mean the same.
- 31:41Speaker 1: And that's okay.
- 31:42Speaker 2: I think that's one of the reasons why I've done
- 31:45Speaker 2: these kinds of courses and stuff, because everybody has their
- 31:49Speaker 2: stories about what happened in twenty twenty and people in
- 31:53Speaker 2: your life fell away, and they only fell away because
- 31:56Speaker 2: it's making room for the super highway coming through. And
- 32:00Speaker 2: that's part of the journey as well. And then trying
- 32:03Speaker 2: on different groups of people. They may have resonated for
- 32:07Speaker 2: a while, and then that doesn't anymore, and so you
- 32:11Speaker 2: keep in search of it. It's like also being in
- 32:14Speaker 2: search of the people that resonate with you. And things
- 32:17Speaker 2: like Zoom and online classes really opened the world up
- 32:22Speaker 2: places I wouldn never I wouldn't come across your path otherwise,
- 32:25Speaker 2: And to me, that's really such a wonderful thing to
- 32:28Speaker 2: be able to have that connection with people that you're like, oh, yeah,
- 32:33Speaker 2: I know this person. It's really such a powerful moment.
- 32:38Speaker 1: When the pandemic hit and we were all sequestered to
- 32:41Speaker 1: our homes, we had to break out of all of
- 32:45Speaker 1: our usual stuff. I had recently reconnected with my friend Maria.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I was listening to a podcast and they were offering
- 32:51Speaker 1: a mediumship class, so we started doing that together. We
- 32:53Speaker 1: met more people and we had a group for a
- 32:55Speaker 1: couple of years. We supported each other to practice and
- 32:57Speaker 1: get stronger taking classes. The more you work on it,
- 33:00Speaker 1: the more it continues to expand and grow. I trust
- 33:03Speaker 1: in myself has also grown, and it's only because of
- 33:07Speaker 1: that I can still give these full messages, even though
- 33:09Speaker 1: the information becomes more and more subtle. What I feel
- 33:13Speaker 1: like I'm getting is I want to say, a tenth
- 33:15Speaker 1: of the strength of what I used to get. I
- 33:17Speaker 1: needed a little bit more of a sledgehammer before. I
- 33:19Speaker 1: don't need that. Now. I've been working on maintaining my
- 33:23Speaker 1: energy because it used to be that a reading and
- 33:27Speaker 1: I'd be depleted, or if I did two in a row,
- 33:30Speaker 1: I'd be exhausted. So I had to learn how to
- 33:32Speaker 1: call my energy back, clear out my energy field. And
- 33:37Speaker 1: so it's been a couple of years since I've been
- 33:39Speaker 1: doing that. So now if I was doing reading, if
- 33:42Speaker 1: I wasn't minding the time, and I wasn't worried about
- 33:45Speaker 1: my energy, I could probably go for two or three hours,
- 33:48Speaker 1: so much information would just keep going. I'm hanging out
- 33:51Speaker 1: with the person in spirit where we've got a flow going,
- 33:54Speaker 1: so it's just moving, so it just keeps evolving, and
- 33:57Speaker 1: it's so freaking exciting.
- 33:59Speaker 2: It's exciting in a way that it's funny. Santa Claus
- 34:06Speaker 2: and the chimney and stuff like that. And when you said, oh, no,
- 34:09Speaker 2: one's more surprised than me. It's like something when it
- 34:14Speaker 2: has come in, nobody is really more. I go, oh
- 34:17Speaker 2: my god, I believe this because I was there, right,
- 34:22Speaker 2: But it's amazing, and I sometimes I sit there, part
- 34:25Speaker 2: of that thing in my astrological chart, which was talking
- 34:28Speaker 2: about it will blow some people's minds. I think that's
- 34:32Speaker 2: why I've been so hesitant, because it's a lot of
- 34:36Speaker 2: responsibility with blowing someone's mind. I don't know how easily
- 34:39Speaker 2: it would be for me to take the potential backlash
- 34:44Speaker 2: from it, and I think maybe there's a gold wound.
- 34:47Speaker 1: I hear what you're saying about the fear of a backlash,
- 34:50Speaker 1: but I tell you, there are times when I've been
- 34:52Speaker 1: nervous about saying something that I saw. I saw a
- 34:55Speaker 1: revolver once and I was like, on the inside, I
- 34:58Speaker 1: didn't know what to do with it. I checked probably
- 35:00Speaker 1: eight times, Wait am I getting this right? Wait? Am
- 35:03Speaker 1: I supposed to say this? Wait? Am I getting this right?
- 35:05Speaker 1: I was scared. But then I said it to the
- 35:07Speaker 1: woman and she's, oh, that's my dad. I forget why,
- 35:11Speaker 1: but that symbol was related to her father. That was
- 35:14Speaker 1: her business. But you're picking up on what you're picking
- 35:17Speaker 1: up on for a reason. If you have your own
- 35:20Speaker 1: sort of filtration system, Like now, I'm getting nervous, so
- 35:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna look to let that go. Is it for
- 35:26Speaker 1: this person's highest good for me to deliver this message
- 35:29Speaker 1: as I'm receiving it, Maybe feel your yes, Yeah, if
- 35:33Speaker 1: you feel nothing, maybe because there are times when people
- 35:35Speaker 1: in spirit do not have a filter and that person
- 35:40Speaker 1: might not actually be ready. You have to trust your
- 35:42Speaker 1: own discernment, So maybe just use that other part of you,
- 35:46Speaker 1: which is the one that knows to ask and then see.
- 35:50Speaker 1: It's very rare that I'll leave something off. I try
- 35:52Speaker 1: not to deliberately. I really try not to do that.
- 35:55Speaker 1: That's why I write shit down, is like I don't
- 35:57Speaker 1: want to forget this because sometimes those are the juiciest
- 36:00Speaker 1: moments that can be the most validatable stuff. But you
- 36:03Speaker 1: wouldn't know because that's their relationship, not yours. Just consider
- 36:09Speaker 1: that might just be your humanness.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Yeah. I think the one lady whose family member had
- 36:15Speaker 2: come in was one of those where I was like, gosh,
- 36:18Speaker 2: I am not comfortable in this out of a classroom setting.
- 36:23Speaker 2: But at the same time I knew that it was
- 36:25Speaker 2: important I had to do this one thing, and yeah,
- 36:31Speaker 2: and upset her and I got upset. I was like,
- 36:33Speaker 2: I know, if you never want to speak to me again,
- 36:35Speaker 2: that would be totally fine. I totally understand that. And
- 36:38Speaker 2: she came around, but it was really just like and
- 36:41Speaker 2: all these people were like you saying to her, and it
- 36:42Speaker 2: made her cry. I'm thinking, well, I didn't mean to
- 36:47Speaker 2: make her cry.
- 36:48Speaker 1: That wasn't you. You were delivering a message the way
- 36:51Speaker 1: you were given it. You didn't say I'm picking up
- 36:54Speaker 1: that you're an effing asshole. That's not what you weren't
- 36:57Speaker 1: doing that. I'm just saying some of the biggest truth
- 37:00Speaker 1: bombs that have been dropped on my lap to deliver
- 37:03Speaker 1: have been some of the biggest validating things that I
- 37:06Speaker 1: could possibly share.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Really what was needed from this person. Yeah, that's definitely true.
- 37:13Speaker 2: The thing is, I have to like understand that the
- 37:18Speaker 2: old patterns have of protecting me. That's part of what's
- 37:22Speaker 2: been coming up to be healed. It's in the way
- 37:24Speaker 2: that I see it, where before it was in the
- 37:26Speaker 2: way I didn't know it was there. I thought it
- 37:29Speaker 2: was just all me.
- 37:30Speaker 1: You would never be able to break out of it
- 37:32Speaker 1: if you weren't aware of it.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I've had to heal stuff about myself to be able
- 37:37Speaker 1: to do this, and I still have a long road
- 37:39Speaker 1: ahead of me. There are times when I feel like
- 37:42Speaker 1: I get good accolades of I did a great reading
- 37:45Speaker 1: or I did a good job connecting from the person
- 37:47Speaker 1: in spirit, which is really meaningful. But I have also
- 37:51Speaker 1: had to stop looking for validation, yeah, or positive reinforcements.
- 37:56Speaker 2: So true, it's a really tricky thing because you're looking
- 37:59Speaker 2: for did I get it right? Also, like how do
- 38:04Speaker 2: I appropriately file that away? Because where I don't walk around.
- 38:10Speaker 1: With this, we have to really keep our own agendas
- 38:14Speaker 1: in check.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Now you can get the flat down from spirit eventually,
- 38:18Speaker 2: if they're saying it too big for your breeches.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I would love to see that happen. But look, if
- 38:23Speaker 1: I was doing that, I would want them to tell me, like, really,
- 38:26Speaker 1: let anything egoic about this, really let it go, because
- 38:31Speaker 1: it's not what makes me special. I'm in classes with
- 38:34Speaker 1: hundreds of other people in this one class, in this
- 38:36Speaker 1: one period of time, on this one zoom room, who
- 38:39Speaker 1: in some ways would blow me out of the water.
- 38:41Speaker 1: Some are newer, but there's nothing special about me. I
- 38:44Speaker 1: really do feel that way, like you, I had a
- 38:47Speaker 1: fascination about this. I keep pursuing it. I enjoy learning
- 38:50Speaker 1: it and getting better at it. So I keep taking classes.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I'm not trying to be the best of anything. I
- 38:56Speaker 1: just love it and more pure the messages are that
- 38:58Speaker 1: I can give and people feel seen and their loved
- 39:01Speaker 1: ones feel seen and healing happens. There's nothing better. I
- 39:06Speaker 1: can't do therapy. I can't help people heal that way.
- 39:09Speaker 1: I don't think it was a great therapist anyway, But
- 39:11Speaker 1: this feels like it's a mixture of everything, And to me,
- 39:15Speaker 1: there's nothing more beautiful and to have us all feel
- 39:18Speaker 1: less alone in the world because our loved ones are
- 39:21Speaker 1: right here and they're telling us. Nothing more heartfelt and
- 39:24Speaker 1: real than that. So if something was coming through and
- 39:28Speaker 1: you knew that your friend that you're talking to is open,
- 39:30Speaker 1: and you have blanket permission totally go for it, how
- 39:34Speaker 1: beautiful would that be? And then the conversation shifts to
- 39:38Speaker 1: something completely different. There's a lot more depth, there's love
- 39:42Speaker 1: coming through. You get to be the Santa Claus and
- 39:45Speaker 1: the present at the same time.
- 39:48Speaker 2: It would be really cool to be able to share
- 39:53Speaker 2: messages with people that even if there's skeptics, they can
- 39:58Speaker 2: still hear the message. It will resonate with them on
- 40:01Speaker 2: some level.
- 40:02Speaker 1: So my suggestion, if it's okay, is there are some
- 40:06Speaker 1: people that if you are going to pick up on something,
- 40:08Speaker 1: if you have a feeling you're going to pick up
- 40:10Speaker 1: on something, ask when you feel that. When you get
- 40:14Speaker 1: that inkling, and then remember who you have blanket permission from,
- 40:19Speaker 1: then you're free to share. You could say, oh, this
- 40:21Speaker 1: justin or however you want to do it. Yeah, but
- 40:24Speaker 1: if you get permission ahead of time. I've always been clear.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I thought it was really cool to be able to
- 40:29Speaker 2: have a conversation with someone knowing that could still happen,
- 40:33Speaker 2: and then also going I've got this really cool things
- 40:37Speaker 2: and then yeah, the person goes, yeah, they.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Just know when you start getting messages, when you're having
- 40:44Speaker 1: a conversation with a friend that you know is open,
- 40:47Speaker 1: and stuff just starts coming in. But the more open
- 40:50Speaker 1: you are, the more you practice, the more you journal,
- 40:52Speaker 1: and then this automatic writing comes through and you're practicing
- 40:54Speaker 1: and you're building your skills and your confidence. It's only
- 40:58Speaker 1: going to go up from there.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Thank you so much. I was a little nervous at
- 41:03Speaker 2: first that talk about opening this bigot the day when
- 41:06Speaker 2: Tony says, oh, who does this professionally? And I think
- 41:10Speaker 2: this was probably the second time I've ever raised my hand,
- 41:13Speaker 2: and I wasn't raising my hand, and all of a sudden.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Somebody put my He said, who's aspiring to have this
- 41:20Speaker 1: regular part of your life? And yes, I.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Raised my hand and I was like okay. And then
- 41:27Speaker 2: moments later you mentioned what you do and your podcast
- 41:31Speaker 2: and what you were looking to do, and I think
- 41:33Speaker 2: when we had the water break, I was like, I
- 41:36Speaker 2: have to email her right now, so then and then
- 41:41Speaker 2: you reach back. But then the thing was is I
- 41:43Speaker 2: was writing in my journal, I'm like, I did this thing,
- 41:45Speaker 2: and you have to sometimes just say yes. That was
- 41:49Speaker 2: you say yes, and you have to do the thing.
- 41:52Speaker 2: And I'm saying this to the people when you're bugging
- 41:55Speaker 2: me that I'm not doing the thing, because I'm doing
- 41:57Speaker 2: the thing.
- 42:00Speaker 1: I'm getting It is enough when you're trying your hardest,
- 42:03Speaker 1: when you're trying the best you can think of to
- 42:07Speaker 1: do in that moment, and you're willing and there's bravery
- 42:11Speaker 1: and courage and you're less self inhibiting, that's right enough.
- 42:22Speaker 1: I can feel that. That feels like like four or
- 42:25Speaker 1: five generations all saying that to you. Now, it's enough.
- 42:31Speaker 1: It is enough to try your best. And whenever you
- 42:35Speaker 1: leave your body. However far you did or didn't get
- 42:38Speaker 1: in developing this, it seems very clear in my heart
- 42:42Speaker 1: that you're going to be freaking pleased with yourself that
- 42:44Speaker 1: you did it. This feels like the correct path to
- 42:47Speaker 1: your heart and to your passion, and that's the biggest
- 42:50Speaker 1: confirmation we can get.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Thank you very much. I would like to share it
- 42:56Speaker 2: with a few key family members just to say this
- 43:00Speaker 2: is what I do, this is who I am, and
- 43:02Speaker 2: this is regardless of whatever they choose to think about it.
- 43:05Speaker 2: It's just a proclamation, oh hell yeah.
- 43:10Speaker 1: And some people might surprise you that they're like, holy crap,
- 43:14Speaker 1: that's frightening. But I love that. Who knows. But I
- 43:18Speaker 1: think it also has to not matter to us. Yeah,
- 43:21Speaker 1: it's satisfying enough, filling you up enough that you don't
- 43:25Speaker 1: need that validation from people who it's not their thing totally.
- 43:30Speaker 1: That's all.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Oh, and somebody's had a feeling thank you. That feels
- 43:36Speaker 1: great grandmotherly. It's likely in your lineage and people would
- 43:41Speaker 1: have kept it secret, is what feels right to me
- 43:43Speaker 1: to say right now. So you may be a lot
- 43:46Speaker 1: more alive and aligned with your family than you may
- 43:51Speaker 1: have ever realized. Before I'm getting a bad Yeah, I
- 43:56Speaker 1: can feel it in my bones because I feel like
- 43:58Speaker 1: the foundation of that helps yes do a sensitive job
- 44:02Speaker 1: in a way that I want to. And I also
- 44:03Speaker 1: want to just say you are very normal.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Thank you. That's one of the things that I I
- 44:11Speaker 2: haven't felt like a while.
- 44:14Speaker 1: So it occurs to me as you're saying that you
- 44:17Speaker 1: just need to widen your circle to include more people
- 44:20Speaker 1: who have the same fascination you do. They're encouraging you
- 44:24Speaker 1: to connect more with people in these classes.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I have done that with some people, but I think
- 44:29Speaker 2: it would be nice to reach out a little bit
- 44:31Speaker 2: more and get more practice.
- 44:32Speaker 1: And things like that build your confidence.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Noel. I appreciate it and we'll
