Scripture Reading: Genesis 41:37-46

n this Daily Devotions episode, Pastor David Sumrall draws a leadership principle from the life of Joseph.

When Joseph was promoted to govern all of Egypt, his authority was publicly established. Yet he did not begin by celebrating or issuing orders. His first action was to inspect the land and understand what had been placed under his responsibility.

Before leading, we must learn. True leadership begins with understanding what we have been entrusted with.
