- 0:47brand new sponsor, brand new friends and pals here in the Treehouse. The
- 0:51Dallas Comedy Club. Yeah, and you guys sound less excited about money Jesus.
- 1:00The Dallas Comedy Club our newest sponsors here in the tree House. We're
- 1:03very, very happy and grateful to have them on board. It is actually
- 1:10you're all new home for comedy in Dallas Fort Worth. And speaking of that,
- 1:15and by the way, they say something because I went to the show
- 1:19where Rags was hosting a week and a half ago. It was two weeks
- 1:23ago. Uh. They have a great patio, I mean like that is
- 1:29they have a great bar at patio, Like it's not just a comedy club,
- 1:33it is it's time. Yeah. Yeah, And then they have this
- 1:37to watch sports, like, they have this thing called the dugout, which
- 1:38is like this, it's basically like garage doors that open up and it's you
- 1:42have couches and chairs and stuff like that, and you can rent that out.
- 1:47And like two years ago for the Cowboys games, that's where I would
- 1:53go and they would just let me use that Backspaceline invite everybody in full service
- 1:57restaurant, full service bar, like it's fantastic. So it's not just comedy.
- 2:01It's a lot of fun. We always we all hang out there too,
- 2:04so that's always. It's a very artist friendly. Then you can you
- 2:10can you can rub elbows with the semi famous comedians coming through town, which
- 2:15includes this weekend at the Dallas Comedy Club. Uh see Friday and Saturday,
- 2:21September twenty ninth, and the thirtieth. Brett Ernst is headlining the Dallas Comedy
- 2:25Club. It's one of those guys that you might recognize his name if you
- 2:30fall a comedy. If you don't, you might recognize him by his face
- 2:35as Daniel Larusso's cousin in law on Netflix's Cobra High. Yeah he's great and
- 2:40by the way, yeah, I'm so good with faces. That one year
- 2:46ago, one year ago when Tara and I made our move here to Saint
- 2:51Thomas, or as Trey likes to call it Saint Tulsa. We were in
- 2:55the Fort Lauderdale Airport or Miami, I forget where, at a Florida airport
- 3:02and I saw Brett Ernst walking by, just walking by in the terminal.
- 3:06I was like, hey. I didn't say anything to him because I'm not
- 3:08weird. I'm just weird on my own. I didn't want to make it
- 3:13weird for him. It's just weird for me. But I recognized him.
- 3:15I was like, Oh, Hey, that's the that's the that's the guy
- 3:19from Cobra Kai yeah, to which tears like hump. I was like,
- 3:23you know, the guy that tried to h to jump Johnny and he and
- 3:28his goons he had found I got their asses kicked outside of Johnny's really crummy
- 3:32apartment after they were like jacking with his Camaro or something. And she's like,
- 3:37oh, okay, I kind of have a I don't know what it
- 3:40is. I just have a weird thing about recognizing people's faces, especially in
- 3:45airports. So I recognized him. I think it was Fort Lauderdale Airport.
- 3:52I've also Diane Whist saw her at the New Orleans Airport. I don't even
- 3:57know who that is, she thought, you would have because it was at
- 4:00night. She was wearing sunglasses afraid someone would recognize her, and the only
- 4:03person in that entire terminal that recognized her was meat. And I didn't bother
- 4:08going to say hi, just because she seemed kind of stuck up. She's
- 4:10like, wearing sunglasses at night, don't bother me. I did you ever
- 4:14see did you ever see the movie with Steve Martin? Never see Parenthood?
- 4:17No? Okay, did you ever see Tray? Did you ever see that
- 4:26movie? All? Right? So she was the mom of Joaquin Phoenix.
- 4:30She had the short red hair. When the lights went out, they turn
- 4:32it on and there was a vibrator that they were showing. It was hers.
- 4:35Yeah. Also there was the TV show Life in Pieces. She was
- 4:40a mom on that. Anyway, you know, I did. I did
- 4:44get a really cool in Vegas. I think it was Vegas or if it
- 4:50was Indianapolis, one of the two. But I was kind of went down
- 4:55finding like an empty gate I could just chill by myself, and coming out
- 4:59of that gate it was completely empty. There was one guy in a in
- 5:02a handler and we kind of bro nodded at each other, like I know
- 5:06who you are, buddy. And it was it was Kenny G. Uh,
- 5:11yeah, it was amazing. We just he was why he had he
- 5:15had the he had the sacks or whatever it is that he plays. I
- 5:16don't know what that's called. He had he had it, I don't know.
- 5:24He had in his little black case. And he was being escorted with
- 5:28by a gate agent to the next gate that he was at, and I
- 5:30just kind of looked up and I was like, in my head, I
- 5:31went, oh, Kenny G. And I think he heard it, because
- 5:34he is mystical, and I think he heard me in my head go it's
- 5:42Kenny G. And he looked right at me, and we just kind of
- 5:44went back at each other, and I was like, this is cool.
- 5:46I was like a head not actually right now? Yeah, I just I
- 5:48posted it on Facebook. I was like, nobody's gonna believe the story,
- 5:51and I wouldn't make this up, but I just got a broad nod from
- 5:55from Kenny G. Did he respond to it or anything? Oh no,
- 6:00no, No. The only person that's ever responded he is, Yeah,
- 6:03he doesn't need too, he knows the only person that ever responded to me
- 6:08like that it got my agent to call me was Richard Marks. I was
- 6:14in Reno. I was performing at the laugh Actory in Reno and he was
- 6:15performing at the big theater downstairs. It was sold out like thirty five hundred
- 6:19people, I'm sure. And the entertainment director is one who took me down
- 6:23there and she's friends with him, and so we get to do the meet
- 6:26and Greed. I just told he's super funny in concert, and he's like,
- 6:29he cusses like a sailor and he's hilarious. He's also married to Daisy
- 6:31flintest for me, Yes, he's one. He's one life. He's one.
- 6:36He's one life. He has had a hit song in every decade since
- 6:42the eighties. Uh, even if it's something like he wrote songs for in
- 6:46Sync and he wrote songs for a couple other people. But after the meet
- 6:49and Greed, I just told him, I was like, man, you're
- 6:51super funny. I told him I was the comic from upstairs, and I
- 6:54told you, musicians like want to be comics, and comics want to be
- 6:57musicians. He flipped out. He was like that that's so great. You
- 7:00really think I'm funny, And he started following me on Twitter and my agent
- 7:03I'm going up the escalators. It just happened, and she goes, why
- 7:06is Richard Marks following you on Twitter? Because we're bros. Now, we're
- 7:13cool now, and I've invited him. We're going to start opening up for
- 7:15one another. Yeah, he doesn't want to open up for my crowd.
- 7:21And my crowd and Reno, they're the sweetest people in the world. But
- 7:25it's a lot. It's a lot of truckers, your people, some other
- 7:32famous people I've seen at the airport. In addition to the two semi randoms
- 7:35I've just mentioned, the Brett Ernst Diane Whist and then also I always forget
- 7:41his name. It's like, uh, the guy who co starred in the
- 7:45Divergent movies, Like he's a really good looking guy. But again I was
- 7:48it was it was at a Boston It was at Boston Logan Airport when we
- 7:51were there years ago. I saw him walk up by. I was like,
- 7:54Hey, is that guy? And no one else recognized him, like
- 7:57celebrities really do. And this is true for a lot of people. No
- 8:00one thinks about you the way you think about you, And that's very true
- 8:03with the celebrities, but they don't realize it because so many people in their
- 8:07circles are constantly thinking about them. They have a hard time grasping that right.
- 8:13Yeah, he didn't. He was walking through the airport, just normal
- 8:16dude. And if I think again, I was probably the only person that
- 8:18recognized him, so no one was bothering him. John Goodman saw him twice.
- 8:22People recognized to him because he's been in everything for so many years.
- 8:26He has touched every demographic possible in some way, in a large way,
- 8:31no pun intended to where he's going to be recognized by pretty much everybody now.
- 8:37Had his weight shifted when you met him to do like the first time
- 8:39you saw him, he was big John Goodman, and this time both times,
- 8:43both times I saw him, he was big. He was big John
- 8:43Goodman. And the reason why I saw him at the airport was the New
- 8:46Orleans Airport twice. The reason why is because my mom was living there at
- 8:50the time, and they also had a restaurant at that New Orleans Airport where
- 8:56you could smoke, and so I was sitting in there smoking, I just
- 8:58watched John Goodman just walk by. Oh nice, Okay, Yeah, anyway,
- 9:03that's my brushes with Fami at the airport. And in a great story
- 9:05should I tell them all again. Well, Diane waste Roger, did you
- 9:11ever see the Bird Cage? Yes, okay, she was. She was
- 9:13Gene Hackman's wife. She was the mom in Bird Cage. Okay, one
- 9:18of my all time favorite movies. So that's yeah, it's such a great
- 9:20movie. That's one of those movies I did. Every time I see something
- 9:24about it or hears something about it, it reminds me I need to watch
- 9:28that again. That's a great movie. Yeah. I also when Dan mentions
- 9:33these movies, like the Divergent movies, there's those movies in my head that
- 9:37I'm like, who the f watches this movie? And now I know it's
- 9:41Dan, like that, I'm the reason. I am the reason that some
- 9:45movies have sequels. That should be on your that should be your slogan on
- 9:50every social media profile. I am the reason undeserving movies get a sequel.
- 9:56Yes, because I'll give almost any movie a chance, just just ad just
- 10:00for the hell of it. I love movies, and uh, I'll give
- 10:05almost any movie a chance. Yeah. And just getting back to Brett Ernst,
- 10:09He's one of the kindest human beings in the world. He's super funny,
- 10:13he is uh, the character that he plays on Cobra Kai is not
- 10:18a character that is who he is. Uh. He talks about all the
- 10:24His stand up is brilliant. It's it's it's so personal about his life and
- 10:28you know him and just being that that guy. He's that he's that Italian
- 10:31dude that you go. I wonder if he, you know, does the
- 10:35stereotypically. Yeah, that's Brett Earns and it's great. Go watch. The
- 10:39shows will sell out. So so for taket info go to Dallas Dash Comedy
- 10:43Club dot com Dallas Dash Comedy Club dot com. I think now they've gotten
- 10:46way more than their money's worth. So let's move on to important show related
- 10:52things. Rod, did you not get the gray t shirt memo about?
- 10:54Did not? This is adorable. I can go change really quickly if need
- 10:58be, But this is this is too cute. I think it's every at
- 11:03least once a week, you guys quote inadvertently match, which I don't believe.
- 11:09There's like every time it's the same thing. Well, we didn't know,
- 11:11yes, we didn't like. We don't plan these things. Look for
- 11:16the very first football podcast, I had a Cowboys shirt on. Trey had
- 11:18a long horn and shirt on that's not totally related. It's not to me.
- 11:22I don't think it's crazy to think, hey, we're gonna start a
- 11:26football podcast and me, we're like a you know, a logo thing with
- 11:28with my favorite football team on it. And then as far as happening to
- 11:33wear this, you know, a similarly colored T shirt once a week.
- 11:37I don't know what to tell you. Maybe we just have the same terrible
- 11:41fashioned sense. No, I mean, a gray T shirt is always a
- 11:45good look. That's why I have four of them. I think that's the
- 11:50biggest thing is of my T shirts. You know, I have gray,
- 11:54black, navy blue for the most part. That's yeah, great colors.
- 11:58And I've got about four of each of them. And I actually when I
- 12:01do my laundry, I actually I stacked them. I try to like stack
- 12:05them colors so because I know I'm just gonna grab the one on the top,
- 12:07so I try to, you know, mix in the colors. So
- 12:11I'm not wearing black five days in a row. But see, I don't
- 12:13even care about that. It's like I didn't go full Mark Zuckerberg wearing you
- 12:18know, the zip up hoodie every day or the Steve Jobs or he wore
- 12:20the black turtleneck every day. I get their thinking in that, because their
- 12:26their approach to wearing the same thing every day was I have so many important
- 12:31decisions to make every single day, Wasting any time on what to wear that
- 12:37day should not be one of them. So I totally get that, and
- 12:39so I kind of took a little inspiration from that, and just like like
- 12:41you trad say, Okay, I like I got I got three colors of
- 12:45T shirts and I just kind of rotate them, and those colors go with
- 12:48almost anything. Do you really I've wondered this because that that to me,
- 12:54that all started with Albert Einstein. You know, he had the same same
- 12:56outfit, and I just wonder, now, like with with jobs, Okay,
- 13:01maybe I'll give it to him Zuckerberg, I'm not sure about Yeah.
- 13:03Are they just trying to, you know, say, basically say, oh,
- 13:07yeah, we have the same traits as Albert Einstein. Look how smart
- 13:09we are? You know? Is it a look at me thing? Or
- 13:11do they really is that something they really do? That's actually a great question.
- 13:16Are they just trying to associate themselves with that greatness with and they'd be
- 13:20great on their own? I think I think at this point in both of
- 13:22their careers, they're gonna they're up there as far as success is concerned.
- 13:26Oh, I think Jobs was that quirky and that that committed to his his
- 13:31work. That I believe that I like, I said Zuckerberg, I don't
- 13:35know. I don't know that. I think he's the genius of Steve Jobs.
- 13:39To me, I think Zuckerberg just wanted to wear a hoodie everywhere,
- 13:43just to be an a hole where everyone else was wearing suits. I think
- 13:46when when Steve Jobs was sent down from the Mothership, they gave him,
- 13:52they gave him the one human outfit and had they said, you get one
- 13:58skin and one outfit, don't really, yes, And so he just he
- 14:01wore that every day because the other aliens would not give him more clothes.
- 14:05Uh, that's what it is. And then when he quote died, when
- 14:09he went back as a ball, giant ball of light into the sky,
- 14:13he got to, I'm sure, get to put on his alien clothes.
- 14:16Now. Well, when he was going up into the sky as the giant
- 14:20ball of light, was he still wearing the turtleneck or had that been shed?
- 14:22He shed his his his one his one outfit and his is the body
- 14:28that they gave him. I don't see all I see him doing, not
- 14:31shedding the outfit. I had to see it going from black to white as
- 14:35he is, it's like it's it's kind of like he's gammed Dolf. He
- 14:39goes from gray to white. If you watch Bill Burr talk about Steve Jobs,
- 14:46he's like he's great. He's like he was just he was just an
- 14:48a hole that just gave other nerds work. Is basically what it was,
- 14:54like, Hey see this whole thing. I want every song I ever listened
- 14:58to in here. I don't know how you do it, but by the
- 15:00end of the day, I want to be able to listen to every song
- 15:01in here. And they're like all right, he said, so so we
- 15:05gotta do it. But yeah, like I would like to point out,
- 15:09this is where I would be let me rephrase. I can relate to that
- 15:13because there are times where I feel like I've got good ideas, but I
- 15:16don't have anywhere near the technical know how to achieve some of these ideas.
- 15:22So I totally get a Steve Jobs type. It's like, okay, like
- 15:24you just said, rosh, yeah, I would have no idea how to
- 15:28how to do the what's it's in the widgets and the thing. But I
- 15:30know I want the thing. Yeah, so let me get some people that
- 15:33can get me the thing, right, and you gotta give of all the
- 15:37people Steve jobs. You have to think about it. Twenty five years ago,
- 15:39apple stock was a dollar. Yes, and because he had left and
- 15:45it was in disarray, he comes back and it's now. I mean,
- 15:48I think their market cap is over a trillion. Yeah, yeah, I
- 15:52mean, I mean it's just he had he had to go back and recharge,
- 15:56plug in to the mothership and then come back. Is that what happened?
- 15:58Yeah, he had to get a firmware update. I wonder if it's
- 16:04not just us that we had that had to do the update. He's the
- 16:07original iOS. I wonder if he has to agree to his terms and services.
- 16:15But Barack Obama did the same thing. The only thing that he had
- 16:18different was he his ties. So he's either a blue tie or a red
- 16:22tie. That was the only difference. I think. I think that was
- 16:25what Trump did when once he started running for office. He would just it
- 16:29was mostly a red tie and an occasion, on occasion he would switch to
- 16:32a blue, but it was usually a patriotic color of sorts. He never
- 16:34went to a white tie though, so he know no. And then the
- 16:38one time Barack Obama put a ten suit on the Fox News melted down so
- 16:44they had to they had to go back to the plant. He couldn't wear
- 16:48anything spring like U ever, So that's why that's why I'm convinced now,
- 16:53like every shirt you see, every picture you see of him on vacation,
- 16:56he's shirtless because he's like, if a tens suit and melted them down,
- 17:00which I have no shirt up, Yeah, I would do that. Wait
- 17:04wait until I would do that. I like, I would have no problem
- 17:12going. I can wear black T shirt and jeans, blue jeans every single
- 17:17like the exact same outfit every single day. I have no problem with that.
- 17:19Is that every girl I've ever dated is like, why do you have
- 17:22so many black T shirts? So I'm like, it's just easy, like
- 17:26I don't have to worry about it, and they're like, well, if
- 17:29you look so nice in orange, and I'm like, well, then buy
- 17:32me something orange. And so that's the only reason other stuff happens. So
- 17:37the only the only the only colors in your closet are from things of your
- 17:41ex's have purchased for you, uh most for the most part. Yeah,
- 17:45or its colors. They've suggested that you should wear that. I'm like,
- 17:48all right, for you, I'll do that. But if it's me,
- 17:49I'm black T shirt and blue jeans. Just so, so what is it
- 17:56then? So if you go out on a date, are you wearing the
- 17:57same thing? Yeah? I mean I don't really, I'm old. I'm
- 18:03not dressing up for a date. Oh are you now past dating age like
- 18:06Trey? No, I'm no, no, no, no, I'm past
- 18:07getting dressed up for you. I feel like got to unload on me.
- 18:15You just you just reminded me of something that I don't think we've discussed.
- 18:18And just I'm gonna throw this out there and then we can get back to
- 18:22it. Which is the Golden Bachelor? Oh my god, Yes, can
- 18:26we not talk? That's just Dan. Have you not heard of this?
- 18:29Oh no, no, I've heard of it. Okay, I've I've unfortunately
- 18:33seen some of the promos. Gary, Yeah, I am petrified. Oh.
- 18:41Just generationally, if if there's a bunch of gen xers and they start
- 18:45acting a fool, I I the shame I'm gonna feel. It's palpable.
- 18:52So is Gary. So I think I think this is what will we stopped
- 18:57watching The Bachelor, like you haven't watched in a couple of years. What
- 19:03I wonder about this new batch or the Golden Bachelor. Is he a boomer
- 19:08or is he a gen xer? Because if it's a gen xer, I
- 19:11might actually watch that. If it's a boomer situation like and then I don't
- 19:17know. Well, he's mid sixties, right, I have no idea.
- 19:21All I know is his name is Gary and he's the Golden Bachelor. I
- 19:22have no idea about his age. I don't know what. I don't know
- 19:26if he's worth anything, either financially or spiritually. I have no idea.
- 19:32He's spiritually wealthy. That's how you plug him on the show. He's old
- 19:38and spiritually wealthy, I said, I don't. I don't know anything about
- 19:41him other than he's old. And usually when the bachelors that they get on
- 19:47the show are at least somewhat financially successful, stable, whatever, and I
- 19:52assume a man in his sixties is probably going to be pretty stable. I
- 19:55doubt they found Gary in a refrigerator box underneath an overpass and said that's our
- 20:00Golden Bachelor. He is, and I'll still feel shit. He's hey,
- 20:04I'll give him credit. He looks good. He's seventy two. Seventy two.
- 20:07Wow, yeah, because there's there's one of the contestants on there is
- 20:11seventy two as well, And I was like, all right, I guess
- 20:14they gave him a certain age range. But it's just but if we're being
- 20:18honest, sorry food music from his childhood? Is that? What are we
- 20:27trying to Are we trying to book a rebel ship? Sad thing is I
- 20:33don't think I can leave that in the show because it'll flag us on copyright
- 20:36licensing. Yeah. My my ring tone is and has been for a long
- 20:41time that the Cantinas scene from Star Wars. Yeah, oh wow, Okay,
- 20:45Anyways, what I was saying about Gary seventy two or not? If
- 20:48he's seventy two and he's a good looking guy and he's financially stable, maybe
- 20:53a border ring on wealthy, why are they bringing in seventy two year olds
- 20:56for him to date? You know he's not going over forty Yeah. Uh,
- 21:02they should just keep they should just keep the twenty five women vying for
- 21:04the roses the same age that they have been. Oh I think that's good.
- 21:11Mix it up where it's let's let's let's see what Gary's true intentions are.
- 21:15Let's throw some some fellow seventy two year olds at him, but let's
- 21:19also throw in an impressionable twenty two year old who thinks she's emotionally intelligent.
- 21:25Yeah. I like it. Yeah, you're right. That would make it
- 21:27more entertaining if they if they had a wide spread of ages for the women
- 21:33contestants, and that would also open up the possibility of us discovering if old
- 21:37woman's strength is a thing like old man strength is. Well, it would
- 21:44make the hot tub scenes a lot better to watch. No, no,
- 21:48the twenty five year old Oh okay, gotch Like, so you were not
- 21:53looking forward to Gary seventy two year old golden bachelor in a hot tub with
- 21:57other seventy two year olds. Know that just sounds like Florida. Yeah,
- 22:02yeah, that's that's that's not a sexy hot till that's that's a therapy.
- 22:06That's Tampa. That is a great idea for a show that like you call
- 22:12it the sugar Bachelor and just an rich guy you want to talk about.
- 22:18Copyright copyright this, they'll they will steal this idea, I prophet, you
- 22:23look, let Rupert Murdoch do it. He just tapped down from his position.
- 22:27He's got a bunch of free time on his hands and a lot of
- 22:30money. So you know there are options out there. Yeah, I just
- 22:36I don't know when they. When I saw the preview for Golden Bachelor,
- 22:38my first thought was just gross, Like nobody needs to watch your grandparents boning,
- 22:45Like nobody needs to see this. See you say that one of these
- 22:48days, hopefully we will all make it to that age. And you know,
- 22:53if if things, if things are what they are, and you guys
- 22:56are still single, then you know, I'm not going to be a Do
- 23:00you find him love? I don't know. If I don't know if Trey
- 23:03is going to find the crazy woman of his dreams and a fellow seventy two
- 23:06year old as much as he wouldn't a twenty four year old. I don't
- 23:08know. But I can definitely find the crazy of my dreams on a reality
- 23:11show though, yes, But I mean it also depends, you know,
- 23:15maybe his definition of crazy will change from like like e mostally crazy to like
- 23:19clinically. It's also a good point I wonder how. I wonder how Tray's
- 23:25crazy tastes will evolve through the years. It's like, first she's just like,
- 23:30like, you know, girls with daddy issues. Now let's schizophrenics.
- 23:33So yeah, you're probably right. I would probably lead more towards clinical because
- 23:40at least you know there's a pill that can probably take the edge off,
- 23:42yeah, most of you. And then when it's sex time withhold the medicine
- 23:48and then let's go. And Trey just wonders, is she gonna say,
- 23:52hold me down with my colostomy bag. You're in the treehouse. Visit us

- 24:23Rodney, We've talked a lot over the years about divorce and how difficult of
- 24:27a situation it can be for people. But one area of divorce it doesn't
- 24:32have to be crazy, is if you're a homeowner going through a divorce,
- 24:36call you and you can help hold their hand through that entire process. Right.
- 24:40Yeah, we're seeing a lot of divorce attorneys recommend us to their clients,
- 24:44and many people are doing cash out refinances to pay off the ex spouse.
- 24:48I'll give you a perfect example of that. We had a client called
- 24:52the other day. She lived in Flower Mount Their home had gone up and
- 24:56their value had been six is six hundred thousand dollars. They only two hundred
- 25:00thousand dollars on the mortgage, but the wife was keeping the house, so
- 25:03she had to do a cash out refinance to pay off her husband the two
- 25:07hundred thousand dollars of his part of the equity. So we did a cash
- 25:11out for that situation. We also see a lot of people buying homes because
- 25:15many people have two incomes. Now they're down to one income and their home
- 25:18may not fit their divorce new divorce lifestyle. So we're seeing a lot of
- 25:22people get pre approved or go out and buy homes during that process. Now
- 25:27here's what you need to know. Can you buy a home or can you
- 25:30refinance during the process or you need to wait until after the process. A
- 25:34lot of that depends on how amicable that your situation is, and do you
- 25:40know all those rules. We're going to hold your hand, walk you through
- 25:42this whole process and make you feel comfortable when it comes to your mortgage and
- 25:47the divorce situation. So pick up the phone, give us a call.
- 25:49There's a reason why so many divorce attorneys give out our name use us all
- 25:53the time, Dan, and it's because they know we're going to take care
- 25:56of their clients. And don't be scared. Pick up the phone and call

- 27:22I thought you said you had to go, Pete. I did.
- 27:26Wow. That is ah, that is that is impressive. That was the
- 27:30world's fastest p Did you dribble on the way to the bathroom. No,
- 27:36yeah, you just started before you got to the bathroom, so it would
- 27:40be faster that way. Well, no, but I had to go and
- 27:42so there wasn't a lot of lag time in between you know, once I
- 27:47got to the toilet of you know, things starting to work, okay,
- 27:51Well, then I I was in a hurry. I pushed hard, no
- 27:56Jesus hands and came back. Do you have like a valve, Yeah,
- 28:02I'm there that you just so it just opens and it just all just gets
- 28:04unleashed, and then you close it back and come back. Because even even
- 28:08if I have to, even though I have to be really bad, I'm
- 28:12still standing there for a good two or three seconds before it really you know,
- 28:15yeah, gets going. I don't know, I had to go,
- 28:19so I felt like it was you know, the valve had pressure. I
- 28:25just needed to you know, open it up. And once I did it,
- 28:27yeah, I mean that's just and I'm sure you take you know that,
- 28:30and that's that's that says you're healthy. That's a healthy bladder and a
- 28:37prostate. And I'm sure healthy prostate. That's the and I'm sure it takes
- 28:40medication at your age. I'm sure he takes some medication for that. And
- 28:42so I do not prostate is all natural, thank you very much. He
- 28:48doesn't need medical assistance in that arena. Is that we actually I take that
- 28:52back, hope is technically I have been taking an enlarged prostate drug for twenty
- 29:00five years because in anticipation of possible So I have been on Propecia, which
- 29:10is a pill that fights hair loss, since I was twenty four. Oh
- 29:15wow. And that Propecia came about, like all of great drugs as basically
- 29:22a side effect of so it's called Finesteride was the original and large prostate drug.
- 29:26And as they're doing their studies and you know posts, so it came
- 29:30out in the mid eighties, and then all of a sudden, like ten
- 29:33years later, they're looking at whoa, all these people are saying they're regrowing
- 29:37hair. Are they've stopped hair loss? We're about to make a lot more
- 29:41money. I have much better think about, Like, so here's fin and
- 29:45it was it was doctor Fettner who finally who was like, hey, because
- 29:48Propecia is basically it used to be about one hundred dollars a month, Okay,
- 29:56just finesteride, which it goes in her name pro scars what the original
- 30:00drug was called. It's like five dollars for ninety pills. Oh and and
- 30:04the Propecia is one milligram, where a Finestra eye tablet is five. So
- 30:08you basically just take one every other day. But uh yeah, so yes,
- 30:15technically I have been on an enlarged prostate drug for a long time.
- 30:18That's what it is. So you've been so you've been juicing your straight all
- 30:22these years and you're just coming clean about it now. That's really you Just
- 30:26you think you know somebody and just I know. It's like Viandra was for
- 30:33blood pressure, yeah, yourself. It's just so much fun to watch for
- 30:47a high blood pressure and they were like, hey, what's going on with
- 30:49Jim? You know it's it's blood pressure is low. But check that out
- 30:56and once again that's that's that's when not the light bulb, but the money
- 31:00symbol goes off over their head and they're like, oh, we're about to
- 31:03be really rich. Oh yeah, Oh the doctor that actually discovered that,
- 31:07like he owns there's some really exclusive spot outside on an island outside of Miami
- 31:14and he owns like half of it. Oh wow, that's impressive. Yeah,
- 31:18I mean that's that when that Yeah, that's going to solve and it's
- 31:22easy. And that's why it's in the commercial it says, you know,
- 31:23it may cause a drop in blood pressure, because that's what that's what it
- 31:27was designed for. Uh, and then it just was that's just an easier
- 31:32market to sell to. UH. So it's also a more fun one.
- 31:34Yeah that's uh, yeah, I did not know that about Propitia was for
- 31:38in large process. So that's what that's the secret behind your four and a
- 31:42half second p. Yes, you're you're you're doing you're doing. Uh,
- 31:48you're doing some some some working there. I have a twenty something prostate.
- 31:56Are you using that on on on women? Say? You know what,
- 32:00Yeah, it might be it might be forty nine, but my prostate at
- 32:02twenty I think that's an over fifty brag. So if you ever get named
- 32:12the new Golden Bachelor, that's your next year. When I get my art
- 32:15card, then I'll maybe I'll throw that out. You can actually get your
- 32:21AARP card now they have no taken away the age restriction. They have they
- 32:27have removed the age restriction. But I thought, like, there's if you
- 32:31get it below fifty, there's certain benefits you don't get up until I don't
- 32:36know. I'm just to me that is going to be the milestone of hitting
- 32:38fifty is getting my art card so and getting and then then I am I
- 32:43am going to like, you know, go play golf. I'm like,
- 32:45yes, kind of the senior discount. Yeah, my dad used to use
- 32:49his I'm not I can't even make this up, his senior discount at Taco
- 32:52Bell. Yeah, that is that is the correct that's the correct response when
- 32:58it's not your dad, because I would go with him and he's like,
- 33:02I take my senior discount please, and I'm like, we're at Taco Bell.
- 33:07We could buy this place with the twenty you understand that we could be
- 33:09the owners of this establishment with the twenty dollars bill. We're good. We
- 33:15don't need to do that. And then it was it used to be and
- 33:16I'm not again, can't make it up. I think it was like fifteen
- 33:20percent off. So he looked at me one day he goes, I just
- 33:23saved thirty six cents, and I was like, what are you gonna do
- 33:25with that? And just indian logic, he goes sixty four more sentences a
- 33:30dollar and I go and then you can buy a burrito. That's what probably
- 33:36makes me laughing or anything, is that's back in the day when Taco Bell
- 33:38was cheap. Yeah. Yeah, And that was his favorite place to go
- 33:43because it was so cheap. That's what he would brag about. And then
- 33:45he got to that age where he's like, I'm gonna use it. And
- 33:47then they switched it and this was a good deal. I think you would
- 33:52get a for the senior discount stead of getting the fifteen percent off or whatever
- 33:55it was. They just gave you a free small drink. Oh and man
- 34:00alive was that man that you should every sip he took out of that small
- 34:05cup, he was the happiest. You would have thought there was eighteen year
- 34:08old Scotch in that cups, just the joy knowing that that diet pepsi was
- 34:14free. Did you did? Did he dine in so he could get a
- 34:16refill and get his money's worth? Like he would The only reason he would
- 34:20go, Yeah, he would always, he would you kind of right.
- 34:23He would fill it up, drink it and then refill it before he went
- 34:29out. But he'd go. He would go inside so he could. The
- 34:31reason they stopped putting the sauce packets outside for like five years was had to
- 34:37be my dad because he brought sauce for the house so he would get he
- 34:43would get kind of like me sometimes at Chipotle when I go in and I
- 34:46you know how that people will say glass half empty, half full with the
- 34:51Chipotle Chipotle Tabasco, the actual Chipotle Tobasco, not the regular, but the
- 34:55Chipotle Tobasco. When you go into Chipotle the restaurant if it's below the halfway
- 35:00line, and that goes home with me, my mom. At the again,
- 35:07you Taco Bueno, they have the free salsa bar. Oh my,
- 35:14it was just so embarrassing. It was just you'd have one bean burrito and
- 35:20sixteen cups of salsa. Uh sixteen little plastic I mean the pico de gaio,
- 35:24halapinos, diced onions, all of it. And I'm like why because
- 35:29it's feet. I'm like, I understand that, I get it. I
- 35:31understand the appeal of free. I enjoy that too. What are you going
- 35:35to do with it? And I was the one who guy would come home
- 35:37on the weekends to see them and have lunch or whatever. And then I'm
- 35:40the one throwing it all away because it's just been sitting in the fridge.
- 35:44And she would try to try to pitch it to you, like do you
- 35:45want some onions with that? I'm like, it's it's cake. I don't
- 35:49need onions with cake. We have some diced onions. No Taco Bueno had
- 35:54diced onions. You went, got a burrito like literally one, and then
- 36:00sixteen cups of the sauce, and then the sauce packets. We had a
- 36:02drawer. Every Indian family has a sauce drawer. There's a Taco bell hot
- 36:07sauce drawer in every Indian person's house. And that's why they stopped positive.
- 36:10That's why they stopped putting, and that's why they ask you now here.
- 36:15It's a new thing. They ask you at taco about how many sauce packets
- 36:17you want. They don't just like, hey, can I have some hot
- 36:21sauce? They just throw a handful in there. They'll ask you now And
- 36:22it's because of Indian people. So if you want to know why it is,
- 36:27it is fact and not just Indian people in general, but your family
- 36:31specifically. And then that's why you have like you used to stop. It
- 36:37was just mild and hot. It was mild, medium hot, and that's
- 36:40where it stopped. And then Indians started going, we like this place,
- 36:44and they're like, oh, okay, how's fire sound. Okay, that's
- 36:46good, And then that wasn't hot enough, and they're like, how does
- 36:50the devil's name in Spanish sound and the like Diablo sounds great? Like now
- 36:57now I think there's one above Diablo. Now it's like it's just getting it's
- 37:00just just because of Indian people going it's not hot enough. And that's the
- 37:04only reason, Like, there's no reason for a sauce that hot anywhere.
- 37:08Real quick, just uh some show stuff, real quick, just to peel
- 37:14the curtain back briefly, rog, did you ever find your ring light?
- 37:15The only reason I bring it up is because Trey and I looked fairly normal,
- 37:20kind of bright, and I don't know if it's because you're wearing a
- 37:22hat. Did you do you find your ring light? Yeah? My ring
- 37:23lights on. It was under it was under it was under some pillows.
- 37:29Your ring light was under some pillows. Yes, Why you think the same
- 37:35thing, I am. What were you filming? Why do you have a
- 37:39ring light in your bed? Rag? Uh, it's not it was on
- 37:43my there's pillows on other places than your bed. First of all, it
- 37:49was on the couch. And you're talking about that, you're talking about the
- 37:52couch cushion. No, like the that's a couch cushion. That's not a
- 37:55pillow. No, there's the throw pillows, the little deck have things that
- 38:00you put on the couch? Do you have Do you have throw pillows on
- 38:04your couch? I do not seeing Oh right there, that right there is
- 38:08a man. A man does not have throw pillows on his couch. He
- 38:13just have the couch. I get. I get manicures and don't like sticky
- 38:15stuff on my hands. What about you? What about me? Screams man
- 38:21like, I'm not a man. Man, I'm like, I'm honestly.
- 38:24Having a ring light in your bed? Screams man. Uh no, baby,
- 38:31I gotta make sure it got good lighting here? Can you see this?
- 38:37Uh no? I thrown it on the ring light? Are you just
- 38:40happy to see? I just got a bad business idea and it would work.
- 38:49It would work, I'll tell you. But just think of a different
- 38:52kind of ring light. Oh gosh, right, already there, already there.
- 39:00I think there's a market. I think there's a market there. No,
- 39:02my dog was on the so I'd thrown the ring light on the on
- 39:07the love seat. And do you have a love seat? Yeah, we
- 39:12have a love seat and a couch and a love seat. Have both of
- 39:14them, and I see before the ring light hit the couch, so before
- 39:19the ring light touched those cushions, it was just a small couch. Once
- 39:22the ring light hits that then and he's my dog wasn't feeling well, so
- 39:29he like moved all the pillows down and went to sleep. And I was
- 39:32like, I know, I positive I put that ring light some and then
- 39:35so he kind of got up to get some water or whatever. And then
- 39:38I looked up and I was like, there it is, and so I
- 39:42found it. So you got a sick pupper, I did. He's good
- 39:45now he's uh. He was wrong, bad, bad, gut. I
- 39:51gotten h he had gotten into some chicken that was in the trash. That's
- 39:54what we is that some of your roadside in chicken that you have months ago
- 40:01that he got into. That would make sense. No, I think it
- 40:05was just like leftover, Like I just had some leftover chicken and rice that
- 40:07I've thrown. And he's a he's a he's a big boy. He's beautiful.
- 40:12His name his name is sweet boy Sam because he's he's a sweet boy,
- 40:15and he's he's wonderful and he's just the just the sweetest dog. But
- 40:20he's a dumpster and he'll eat anything. And you know what he's eating after
- 40:25how he like his face will tell you like I did it and that's not
- 40:29gonna be good. That's what his face says, like, yep, almost
- 40:34one hundred pounds now, little over. See, every time I've ever gotten
- 40:39a dog, adopted, whatever, one of the things I always think about
- 40:43is how big is this dog currently? Or is it going to get any
- 40:46bigger? Because the next thing I think about is how bigger the turd's gonna
- 40:51be that I'm gonna have to pick up? Yeah, he's a in the
- 40:53one. I never I've never wanted to have a dog whose turds are going
- 40:57to be bigger than mine. It's it's gonna feel picking up in the mornings.
- 41:00He's a he's a two bagger. Yeah. You you you go out
- 41:06there with one bag and you're like okay, and you no, you have
- 41:08to you have to take the two. When we got any backs, was
- 41:12it when he was sick? Uh oh yeah, couldn't be. It couldn't
- 41:17be back. So it was a lot of water and uh, I would
- 41:21I would pour water like I would take a bottle of water out with me
- 41:23and it would be the whole bottle of water. Uh, so that it
- 41:27would kind of so that nobody got anything on their feet or anything over their
- 41:30shoes or anything when they were out walking. Yeah. So, and then
- 41:32I would take like dirt or grass and put on top of that as well.
- 41:36So when I got him, I asked specifically how big is the dog
- 41:39gonna get? Because mom, he's a you're going to say you asked specifically
- 41:43how big are his turts? I think that was what I was trying to
- 41:49gauge. I was like, uh, because he's a he's a bulldog boxer
- 41:52mix. And I was like, okay, and the dad, uh,
- 41:57it's fifty pounds. Fifty pounds. The mom was forty. So the girl
- 42:02who I got the dog from was my best friend growing up. He's not
- 42:07passed away, but it's his daughter and she lived in Dennison, and so
- 42:13she put she posted a picture of the of two dogs. I don't even
- 42:15know what the other dog look like. She's like, does anybody want these
- 42:19puppies? And I was like, the one on the right, I'm gonna
- 42:21take. That's my dog. And if you've ever had that connectional there to
- 42:24go, that's my dog. This is my dog like there is no like
- 42:29he sleeps like on me, like it's beautiful. But they lied. They
- 42:36said his max wait was going to be forty seven pounds. And when I
- 42:39took him, I got him at eight weeks old. When I took him
- 42:43to get his second round of shots, I think it was six six months
- 42:47is how old he was. And the doctor was like the vet was like,
- 42:52yeah, look at the size of those pots. And I was like,
- 42:53I know, I really hope he grows into him. He's like,
- 42:57do you. I was like yeah, because he's kind of a goofy clumsy,
- 43:00and they got to that weird like linky phase and then he just started
- 43:05eating everything and I was like, oh man. The doctor was like,
- 43:07there's no way they lied to you. Like they basically if they would have
- 43:10told you he's gonna be a hundred pound dog, they might have been scared
- 43:14that you wouldn't take it. So you have one hundred pound dog. What's
- 43:16his name again? Sweet boy Sam? See so you have sweet boys Sam,
- 43:20one hundred pound dog that you adopted and he got sick. But he's
- 43:23fine now, right, he's good. Now we have solid poops. Was
- 43:27he was he like sphinxing when he was he No, he didn't. He
- 43:31didn't he didn't have a he didn't have he wasn't vomiting. He did vomit
- 43:35once. Uh, And that was when I was like, oh, I
- 43:37know that, I ate that. I know what that is. It was
- 43:40chicken and rice because there was carrots and peas in the throw up and then
- 43:45everything else was out the other side. So yeah, and actually, Trey,
- 43:51thank you for bringing up the sphinxing a thing, because when I was
- 43:52going back through previous episodes, I didn't realize this, but on Spotify people
- 43:59can actually comment on certain things on the podcast itself. So the episode that
- 44:04the episode where we talked about sphinxing it when you Raj got food poisoning,
- 44:08sphinxing it is when you get food poisoning and you have to what you do
- 44:12is when you can no longer make the decision if you want to sit on
- 44:15the toilet and do both at the same time. What you do then is
- 44:19you get in the tub and you do both at the same time without any
- 44:22concerns. You just let it all happen and then he just rents out the
- 44:24tub. Yeah, that's that's sphinxing because you're in that position like the sphinx.
- 44:29Yes, but someone had posted, you guys need to know about gargoiling.
- 44:35So this guy had said what he does is called the gargoyle. I
- 44:37think I wrote it down. Think it's why I can find this put it
- 44:44of skyscrapers. What is kind of kind of that's just what what he does
- 44:50is he gets into the gargoyle position with his feet and squats on top of
- 44:55the toilet, and then he grabs a bucket and puts it in front of
- 44:59him and I just hold his mouth open scarely. That was what he says
- 45:04he does. That's that's the that's the gargoyle versus the sphinx. Yeah,
- 45:07and it got It's like, I'm sure there. I'm sure there are others
- 45:09because whenever someone has food poisoning, they're gonna come up with their own styles.
- 45:14It's sort of like a martial art. It's sort of like kung fu.
- 45:15Someone has tiger style, someone has gargoyle style, and you know,
- 45:20food poisoning kung fu whatever. But I think there would be some other ones
- 45:24that would also make sense. The Game of Thrones. I looked this up
- 45:30online. These are all one percent real. There's the Game of Thrones,
- 45:32also known as the klisi. That's where you just bend the knee in front
- 45:36of the toilet. Oh gotcha? Okay. There's also the fifty cent that's
- 45:40where you get food poisoning in the club, but you don't leave. You
- 45:43just stay in the club and let it happen. There's also the bond Scott
- 45:50that's where you just lie on your back and choke on your own vomit.
- 45:55The tub girl. Okay, so instead of sphinx to get in the tub,
- 46:00you do the tub girl. Remember that photo online? No, that's
- 46:04what You're gone in your back and you're just ass up, going straight in
- 46:06the air and then back down onto your own face. Surprised you hadn't seen
- 46:12that. Between that and the goat sea image, that was one of the
- 46:14two classic horrific things to have seen online, well before Two Girls One Cup,
- 46:21which would be another option if you had food poisoning. It's just kind
- 46:23the jewels from Two Girls One. There's also Stephen King's carry ok that's where
- 46:30that's where you get food poisoning at prom and don't leave. There's also there's
- 46:38also the Tony Robbins and that's where you have food poisoning in the bathroom.
- 46:43But while you're throwing up and pooping, you do that while running across hot
- 46:45coals. I thought, you're just cussing out the audience. That might be
- 46:53that might be an option as well, Dude, in front of a live
- 46:55audience. I call that the ben him. So we're do it in front
- 47:02of a live audience while screaming Jesus. That would actually be perfect if you
- 47:07want to, you want to prove yourself as a real evangelist, grab someone
- 47:14from that audience that is currently experiencing food poisoning, and you heal them right
- 47:17then and there on that stage, no matter what muck comes out of him.
- 47:22If you can heal them right then and there, you are set for
- 47:25life, better off than Copeland. Yeah, I would. I would buy
- 47:30into that ministry. I'm like, did you see what he did? He
- 47:34made it solid. He is a man of God. Now we just crossed
- 47:44televangelist with exorcism. The hell of a Watch. Yeah, Now that's a
- 47:52church I would go to. Yeah, the Church of Textracism. I'd buy
- 48:00tickets to that. Not front Row, but Slash Zone and Gallagher's the minister

- 48:30Let's get Daniel Cook from Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration into the treehouse right
- 48:35now, the phone number eight three three Cook DFW, the website Cook dfw
- 48:38dot com. So I've heard a rumor lately that insurance deductibles are going up
- 48:44on people's homes, and I'm wondering, how is that going to affect the
- 48:46roof Dan, That's no lie right there. I've heard multiple friends of mine
- 48:52that's in the insurance business saying that companies are going to have to increase rates.
- 48:55Companies are increasing dwelling cost and these are not being able to write one
- 49:00percent deductibles anymore. They're going up to one and a half and two percent.
- 49:04So as a homeowner, that means your deductible could go up as much
- 49:07as three, four or five thousand dollars. So before that occurs on your
- 49:10policy, you need to be very aware of when my policy is going to
- 49:15change, When is my deductible going to change, because you probably want to
- 49:19go ahead and get your roof inspect it and your property inspect it on the
- 49:22old policy amounts because that's going to save you several thousands of dollars on your
- 49:28deductible and you more than likely if you have not had your roof inspected in
- 49:31the last couple of years, we'll probably have some damage that will need to
- 49:35be replaced or repaired. And it's much better to do it for a cheaper
- 49:37deductible than what your deductibles are going to go up to in the next year
- 49:42or two. So take advantage of getting it looked at now. Isn't it
- 49:45nice to have a roofer who not only wants to help you to keep your
- 49:49home protected, but is also thinking about you as you in your finances,
- 49:52like, hey, you know what I think there's a waiting for you to
- 49:54save a little bit of money here in case you have a problem. So
- 49:58give Daniel Cook from Cooke DFW Roofing Restoration a call for that free roof inspection
- 50:01eight three three Cook DFW eight three three Cook DFW, Cook dfw dot com.
- 50:07It's the tree house. Let's get Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the tree
- 50:12house now. Their phone number two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty
- 50:15eight. That's two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight. The
- 50:17website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. So, Jacqueline, I know that Brooks
- 50:22Plumbing is a family business. What's it like working with the family in the
- 50:29family business. You saw I'm an only child and you're you're with me,
- 50:35my mom and my dad. So my dad and I worked together every day,
- 50:37and I'm an only child. I think I just said that, but
- 50:40I remember when the business really took off and started to get very busy,
- 50:45my mom and my dad worked together every day, and being the angry Italian
- 50:49family that we were, every day there was almost a murder ash. Trays
- 50:52were flying. Yes, she threw a peuter half Trey Adam once. But
- 50:55I remember they came home and we were sitting down at the kitchen table.
- 50:59It was on my left, Mom on my right, me sitting in the
- 51:01middle. I think we were having macaroni and I remember my dad got angry
- 51:06about something. And we're a tall family. So I'm five to seven for
- 51:08a girl, I'm kind of tall. Mom, you're like five ten eight.
- 51:12She's shrinking, but she used to be five ten and here dad's six
- 51:16foot tall. And so I remember they got angry and Dad was like,
- 51:21you're not going to yell at me and have the high ground. So he
- 51:22stood up and he started pointing down at my mom. He was still sitting
- 51:24at the kitchen table. And this is back when she was wearing skirts and
- 51:29heels and pantyhose. And so she stands up and she gets on her tiptoes
- 51:34and so she's as tall as he is and she's pointing at him. And
- 51:37now they're arguing, mind you, I'm still sitting there, just nomen on
- 51:39my macaroni left, look right. Look, I'm like, these people are
- 51:43nuts, but I'm like in third grade, I'm like, let them do
- 51:45what they're doing. Dad gets angry, He's like, absolutely not, pulls
- 51:47the chair out, stands on top of the chair and continues pointing down at
- 51:52my mom. So he maintains the high ground. And that's that's what it's
- 51:54like working in this office. So if because we love each other so passionate
- 52:00and we feel so deeply, So if you ever call and you're talking to
- 52:01me and you hear yelling in the background, that's pretty par for the course.
- 52:06It doesn't mean we're not going to show up and give you the best
- 52:07service possible. It just means that we're an Italian family through and through,
- 52:13and we're going to treat you like family, and that means that we're basically
- 52:15inducting already. You're going to yell at all your customers and stand over them.
- 52:20We're gonna feed you, We're gonna make you plump and make sure you
- 52:22can use the after the flush twice. Yeah. So it's actually good the
- 52:30way that story ended, because for a moment there, I thought you were
- 52:31going to say, and that's the story of how my mom ended up standing
- 52:35on top of Reunion Tower. Did you get on the table? Uh?
- 52:38No, I didn't. Did you think about it? I started laugh at
- 52:43I'm surprised you didn't kick that chair out from underneath him. Now I've seen
- 52:45her flip tables before. It's pretty impressing. Don't tell, damn man,
- 52:50don't that's youthful indiscretion. You know what. Don't worry, I'm not going
- 52:54to tell anybody that she said that about you. It's only on the airwaves,
- 53:00embarrassing. It's the internet. There's way worse stuff. You're going to
- 53:01be fine. Be sure to contact Brooks Plumbing for any and all of your

- 53:40any and all of your plumbing once and needs full service plumbing company supporters here
- 53:49in the Treehouse. We appreciate them and appreciate you the website Brooks Plumbing Texas
- 53:53dot com. Sorry, what was you were saying about? Well, from
- 54:00we're talking about the size of dog poops and Roger talking about, you know,
- 54:05one hundred pound dogs. So I've had the extremes. I used to
- 54:07have great Danes. Oh, now I have Daisy and Daisy and Daisy.
- 54:15Ways, how much three pounds? And you're great Danes Wade, how much?
- 54:20Biggest one was one hundred and seventy five pounds. Yeah, and when
- 54:22you took your great Danes on a walk. Did you just bring a shovel
- 54:27I would go, or did you just leave it and blame it? Not
- 54:30a homeless person. I would always try. But I would go down to
- 54:36the grocery store. And it's a dangerous game because you have to really check
- 54:37the bags. But instead of using like a poop bag, I would go
- 54:42get a grocery like the plastic grocery sacks. I thought you were going to
- 54:45say, a lot and leaf bag. Yeah, I had to do that.
- 54:50I had one hundred and thirty five pound Rottwiler in college and that's what
- 54:52I went. And I'd go to the grocers and I'm like paper plastics,
- 54:54I'm like plastic and double bag it. Uh. And it was because of
- 54:59there was no poop bags that we that were big enough. Now they have
- 55:01different sizes, but there weren't anything big enough for this dog's dumps. Like
- 55:08it was. It was impressive, and then I was like okay, and
- 55:12then everything else after that it was fairly midsized, like an average size dog.
- 55:15I'd have a lab like a chocolate lab or whatever. And then with
- 55:17this one here, now you just saw him crossover. He's a giant and
- 55:22he's the sweetest doofiest thing in the world. But he's also mute, so
- 55:25he can't. He doesn't bark. When he does bark, he has to
- 55:30like squeeze all of the air out of his body and that's what comes out.
- 55:34It's weird. Yeah, it's weird because it also sounds like two separate
- 55:37dogs barking out of one. Yeah. So he doesn't say anything. So
- 55:40he tells you he needs to go out with his eyes. And when he
- 55:45was sick, it was just I feel bad because he's right here and he
- 55:46can hear me, and I know you understand it, but it was this.
- 55:50It was just the funniest thing because he would just look at me like
- 55:52it's coming now, I can't stop it, and just that face. I
- 55:58would just start laughing and he's just like, man, you you you get
- 56:02to talk about your problems, tray when you when you go from one hundred
- 56:08and seventy five pound great Dane on a walk, you can't just kind of
- 56:14kick that over and no one noticed it. I mean, everyone's going to
- 56:17know your dog took a huge dump right there. You can't just leave it
- 56:22there right No. So now the opposite with Daisy, the three pound Chihuahwa.
- 56:27Do you even bother to pick that up? Or you just kind of
- 56:29just just blow it down the street like an acorn. I try to always
- 56:34have a poop bag. And now the sad thing, especially if it's dark,
- 56:38I usually can't see the like even with a flashlight. Sometimes that I
- 56:43mean her if she takes a big turd, it looks like a three put
- 56:47like a three peanut in a shell, Like you know that that's the size
- 56:51of it. Look. I would like to point out two things really quickly.
- 56:53One is a disclaimer. One is that I think you are a terrible
- 56:59person if you throw a gum on the ground and you don't pick up after
- 57:01your dog. Okay, I want that sen Yes, unless your dog is
- 57:07so small that one it drops turds. If your dog's turds are smaller than
- 57:13squirrel turds, you shouldn't even mess with it because it actually is going to
- 57:16hurt the environment more by using the poop back. Just just just blow it,
- 57:21just blow it into into grass or something. I literally so we have
- 57:25rabbits running around the neighborhood, and rabbit turds and daisy turds are very similar
- 57:30in size. But like I said, I try to be a good person
- 57:34and pick it up. If I don't have a bag, then what I
- 57:37will do instead of leaving it in the grasses, I literally will just take
- 57:39the tip of my shoe and just flick it and it'll you know, a
- 57:43pebble or two will go in the street, and no one's worse for wear.
- 57:49For a second there, I thought you were going to say you that
- 57:51you were flicking it towards like doors and windows. I flick it towards that
- 57:54neighbor. I hate willing to be fair because because Daisy is so small that
- 58:02when you're walking her trey, I mean, some people probably have to do
- 58:06a double take thinking that you're walking a rat. Yeah, oh yeah it.
- 58:12Daisy always turns heads just if nothing else, uh, just as small
- 58:16as she is, I mean, and you know, she had those big
- 58:19ears and looks like a little like gremlin walking down the street. And honestly,
- 58:22she is so cute because when a dog is that tiny, it really
- 58:27could walk over and poop right in the middle of someone's breakfast, and someone's
- 58:31going to go all If raj is one hundred and thirty five pound from college,
- 58:38did that, that's a vastly different reaction. That's a vastly different awe.
- 58:55Yeah, it really will put anything on avocado toast. It's so gross.
- 59:05I don't know what we're talking about. Yeah, but it's a it's
- 59:07yeah, I can't imagine. That's some weird that's a weird thing to go
- 59:10from like great Danes to something that. But I get it. If I
- 59:15had one hundred and seventy five pound Great Dane that I had to pick up
- 59:17after, you're damn right. If I get another dog, it's gonna be
- 59:21so small that the turds you won't even be able to tell. You won't
- 59:22even be able to see the turd. Yeah, the dog doesn't poop,
- 59:28No, it's it. Literally, even her turds are adorable. That's but
- 59:35I never I never thought I would have a small dog now because there is
- 59:38a convenience factor. I mean, she's wonderful, she sweeches the best dog.
- 59:43But it also like I just throw down a peapad and you know she's
- 59:46good because, like I said, like her her peas, I mean they
- 59:53might make a puddle, you know, if she really has to go like
- 59:59the size of a donut. It and her turds are like I said,
- 1:00:01they're they're cute land for that dog exactly to point out, though, trade
- 1:00:09that the last, the last person on this show that just let the dogs
- 1:00:15use the pea pads like crazy didn't end up so well. I walk her.
- 1:00:21I walk her at least three times a day. But I also sometimes
- 1:00:24worked ten twelve hours shifts, so I do have to have no I I
- 1:00:29and I. Actually when I get home, I used the washable one,
- 1:00:32so then I throw pea pads in the washer. There's not you know,
- 1:00:36hallways, because I was in his house many times where you know, there
- 1:00:38were literally dog turds everywhere. No, that's not happening. But speaking of
- 1:00:45adoption of animals, have any of y'all seen this deal with Dallas Animal Services
- 1:00:52finding a two hundred pound tortoise and no one has come forward to claim it.
- 1:00:57Okay, I somehow missed that in my show prep. Oh my god,
- 1:01:00it's been. It's been all over social media so many people have been
- 1:01:04Dallas Animal Services found it or someone brought it in. What I read is
- 1:01:08it said like they found it, like someone called and go, hey,
- 1:01:12uh, there's a prehistoric beast walking down the street. Dallas Animal Services promptly
- 1:01:17says, we don't have tri Sara tops catchers here, and I and this,
- 1:01:24I mean I can trying to see if I can pull up a picture
- 1:01:28of it. I mean it is. I mean it's a big boy like
- 1:01:32I don't know if y'all can, Oh, yeah, I saw it.
- 1:01:36Yeah, yeah, it's that's a big damn turtle. Yeah and old.
- 1:01:39I mean that if you two hundred pound tortoise has got to be you know,
- 1:01:45over eighty probably is that what it is. I don't know how to
- 1:01:47I don't know how to calculate a turtle or tortoises age. How do you
- 1:01:53do that? My assumption is is based on weight. So, like you
- 1:01:57said, it's two hundred pounds, I just assume one year for each pound.
- 1:02:00So I'm just gonna assume this tortoise is two hundred years old. Yeah,
- 1:02:05I mean, I know they live well over one hundred and as they're
- 1:02:08kind of like lobsters, they just keep growing. They can grow forever.
- 1:02:13So you get to two hundred pounds, I'm assuming you're you're up there.
- 1:02:16Yeah, I'm assuming it was like it was like twelve pounds when it decided
- 1:02:19to leave the owner's house and by the time it got to where it was,
- 1:02:22it's now eighty five and two hundred pounds. They're not swift beasts for
- 1:02:30a tortoise who get that big. Someone has taken a lot of care of
- 1:02:32it, which is why it's just it's surprising. And I don't know why,
- 1:02:37because you see so many people who give away. You know, they'll
- 1:02:40call it rehoming animals. Yeah, is it, But I just I can't
- 1:02:45imagine someone who took that much care of an animal, Like, but how
- 1:02:49are you missing a two hundred pound tortoise? Like, that's just I don't
- 1:02:52think they're missing it. I think I think they think it went. I
- 1:02:54think it was gone. And there might be some restrictions in the city.
- 1:03:00I don't know if there's. Like they said, it's not an illegal animals.
- 1:03:04It's because it's one of those things you can buy a turtle and sometimes
- 1:03:07you know, you think you're getting something, you know that's the size of
- 1:03:10a shoe, and twenty years later godzilla And that's why you adopt, don't
- 1:03:20shop because you have no idea what pet Land is selling you. You think
- 1:03:28it's a get go, but then it ends up being mecca Godzilla. I
- 1:03:34found a story for it or I found it on on I think its Facebook.
- 1:03:37Animal Services Dallas Animal Services is still looking for the owner of the very
- 1:03:40friendly tortoise. Animal Services employees rescue the tortoise, which they named Wendell.
- 1:03:46Yeah. After he after he apparently dug out of wherever his owner kept him
- 1:03:51and wandered into an unsuspecting person's backyard. Oh wow, I guess they're fortunate
- 1:03:55it was very friendly. Yeah. Uh. My thing is like, how
- 1:04:00many two hundred pound tortoises do you have? That one goes missing and you
- 1:04:04don't notice it. I'm still wondering how it is we haven't found that goddamn
- 1:04:10cobra. Those are That's a that's a sentence that said in India every day.
