The Certainty of Finding a New Love
This session guides the listener through a relaxation induction into a visualisation designed to release emotional attachment to an ex-partner and build certainty about a new relationship. Adam uses a beach and counting induction, then has the listener view the ex-partner through ‘reality check’ glasses that strip away idealisation, turning memories black and white and distant. A rope-cutting metaphor severs the emotional cord to the past. The listener then recalls a memory of past certainty about meeting someone new, steps into that feeling, and future-paces it onto a version of themselves…
