- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Rush, The Truth about Sorority Life with
- 0:04Speaker 1: your hosts me Gia Judice.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Daisy Kent, and Jennifer Kessler.
- 0:11Speaker 3: It's time to get dirty, dirty with some sorority lingo.
- 0:17Speaker 4: We're calling this lingo bingo. We're not actually going to
- 0:20Speaker 4: play bingo, but we want to talk about the lingo
- 0:23Speaker 4: back by popular demand, because we did this earlier in
- 0:25Speaker 4: the Dirty Rush series. We talked about the words, and
- 0:29Speaker 4: so we've assembled a group, a panel, secret panel. We
- 0:33Speaker 4: have young, we have old so I think our youngest
- 0:35Speaker 4: is still in the sorority and our oldest is in
- 0:39Speaker 4: their fifties. So we did not include the gramma generation,
- 0:42Speaker 4: which we should, but we go. We span, you know,
- 0:45Speaker 4: a good thirty forty years here. If you all were
- 0:50Speaker 4: to think of one word that makes you think of
- 0:53Speaker 4: your sorority, can you think of it?
- 0:58Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 0:58Speaker 6: Yes, yeah, it give it?
- 1:00Speaker 4: Everybody give it.
- 1:01Speaker 2: As a PII. The word boom just is PIPEI.
- 1:05Speaker 4: If you listen to our song episode, you'll understand why
- 1:09Speaker 4: anybody else it's not sisterhood in the bonds, mine's in
- 1:14Speaker 4: the bonds. We always said that in the is that
- 1:17Speaker 4: what yours was?
- 1:21Speaker 7: I'm trying to think of a word. I I don't know,
- 1:25Speaker 7: I just go to blue and blue. Honestly, I feel
- 1:27Speaker 7: like that was really hammered home.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Yeah, while we're on the topic, a lot of people
- 1:34Speaker 4: don't understand that each so already has colors. So maybe
- 1:37Speaker 4: the secret panel, why don't we go to the alpha,
- 1:40Speaker 4: pi and the theta. What were your colors?
- 1:44Speaker 8: Alpha?
- 1:44Speaker 9: Fi?
- 1:45Speaker 2: Maroon?
- 1:46Speaker 10: I might have been maroon in silver, something little prian
- 1:48Speaker 10: and a little accent, but mainly maroon marine.
- 1:52Speaker 8: Our ours was block and gold.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Oh you are black and gold.
- 1:57Speaker 2: I was always jealous of beta colors. I was always this.
- 2:00Speaker 11: Is sending me back to the song episode really quick.
- 2:03Speaker 11: I'll just sing you an excerpt. We would do a
- 2:06Speaker 11: take on black and yellow, and we'd be like black
- 2:09Speaker 11: and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow,
- 2:12Speaker 11: and we would just sing that all around the house
- 2:14Speaker 11: and it would be like, yeah, you know what it is,
- 2:17Speaker 11: theta yellow.
- 2:20Speaker 2: They did that when I was in college too.
- 2:22Speaker 8: It was that one I enjoyed.
- 2:26Speaker 2: What were you again, wine and blue?
- 2:29Speaker 5: Yeah, that's not a great these color.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Combinations, it's not good.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I remember not liking our colors and being like, I
- 2:37Speaker 3: wish I was a data just for the colors black
- 2:39Speaker 3: and gold and what was what wasd.
- 2:42Speaker 12: G bronze pink and blue?
- 2:47Speaker 4: Bronze pink and blue.
- 2:50Speaker 12: Pretty girl also a strange combination.
- 2:53Speaker 4: I feel like Kappa's rocking here with the blue and blue.
- 2:56Speaker 8: Yeah, that's classic yea time.
- 3:00Speaker 4: So I'd like to go into some sorority lingo that
- 3:05Speaker 4: resonates with the older generation and then see if it's
- 3:08Speaker 4: still used by the younger people. Does anybody in this
- 3:12Speaker 4: group know what snaps are or the silent?
- 3:15Speaker 9: Did?
- 3:17Speaker 4: Does that mean anything to anyone?
- 3:19Speaker 12: Snaps?
- 3:19Speaker 3: Snaps like like like snaps like Kudo's good job type,
- 3:26Speaker 3: not quite clapping.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Quite clapping. The way I think it's used is like
- 3:31Speaker 4: in a rush meeting. If you're like, we loved you know, Mary,
- 3:36Speaker 4: and everyone starts snapping, then you just don't even have
- 3:39Speaker 4: to talk about it anymore.
- 3:40Speaker 6: You're kind of an agreement.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Yeah, did everybody use that?
- 3:44Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 3:45Speaker 4: We use that now. I'd like to know what everyone
- 3:48Speaker 4: how they describe their chapter room. That seems to be
- 3:51Speaker 4: something that people are like, what does that even mean?
- 3:56Speaker 6: Are sucked?
- 3:59Speaker 4: Why tell us more?
- 4:00Speaker 13: It was so old it smelled, and the furniture was
- 4:04Speaker 13: always pushed off to this like to the wall for
- 4:08Speaker 13: I don't know, whatever dance rehearsal. You had to go
- 4:11Speaker 13: through the patio to get out there. It's kind of
- 4:13Speaker 13: like a detached It's interesting you.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Bring up the furniture push to the walls because our
- 4:18Speaker 4: arts also was all did anybody else.
- 4:23Speaker 12: That used to fit all the members? And I think
- 4:26Speaker 12: so maybe I didn't know that there was a chapter room.
- 4:29Speaker 12: We always did it in our living room here, did
- 4:32Speaker 12: you guys?
- 4:33Speaker 11: Did you guys have a dedicated room just for chapter Yeah? Yes,
- 4:37Speaker 11: oh we did the same thing just in our living
- 4:41Speaker 11: room and there were girls sitting on the floor and
- 4:43Speaker 11: it was a whole mess that was.
- 4:45Speaker 4: On the floor for sure. But did you have composits?
- 4:47Speaker 4: Do you guys know what composity?
- 4:49Speaker 2: And that was for us.
- 4:51Speaker 3: That was a big thing in when I was in college,
- 4:55Speaker 3: is we would steal each other's composites like sororities and fraternities,
- 4:58Speaker 3: like like we had like a Landakai and Sigma Qui.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Composite at our house.
- 5:07Speaker 4: And that frown on that like you could kind of
- 5:10Speaker 4: get busted for that.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I don't know, we all did it.
- 5:12Speaker 3: It was like the fun thing to do, Like you
- 5:14Speaker 3: would go to Lambda Kai house for like a party
- 5:16Speaker 3: and steeler composite and like hang it up in your
- 5:18Speaker 3: sority house.
- 5:19Speaker 4: And did the houses like ours went back, like you
- 5:22Speaker 4: could find years previous composites.
- 5:26Speaker 6: Mm hmmm.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:27Speaker 4: If I go to SAE right now and I search hard,
- 5:32Speaker 4: I can find the composite that features one of our
- 5:36Speaker 4: panel members fathers and one of our panel members husbands
- 5:40Speaker 4: on it, like it's still up.
- 5:42Speaker 6: Did you know that?
- 5:43Speaker 12: Yeah, we had. We have old composites that are just
- 5:45Speaker 12: in our hallways. So I wonder how to look at
- 5:48Speaker 12: far back?
- 5:48Speaker 4: It goes yeah, like.
- 5:50Speaker 12: I'm not not too far because we didn't have enough
- 5:51Speaker 12: wall space.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I wonder where all the old composites are stored. They
- 5:56Speaker 4: must be somewhere.
- 5:58Speaker 11: We had the same space problem the composites, where we
- 6:01Speaker 11: only had so much wall space. So every year they
- 6:03Speaker 11: kept them in this big closet and then they would
- 6:06Speaker 11: rotate out which composits were hung on the wall each year,
- 6:10Speaker 11: so it was always like the composites from five, ten,
- 6:13Speaker 11: fifteen years ago, and then it was like I don't
- 6:15Speaker 11: know how they did it actually, but they would change
- 6:18Speaker 11: them every year.
- 6:19Speaker 4: And they were framed in sort of very big, bulky,
- 6:21Speaker 4: ugly brown frames anybody else lay yeah, just really not
- 6:26Speaker 4: not sleek or chic frames in any way.
- 6:30Speaker 13: Did you guys at KAPA and I don't know if
- 6:32Speaker 13: the girls do this, but our meetings were like Robert's rules,
- 6:36Speaker 13: like secretary call to order.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, they were formal, Okay, did everybody have that?
- 6:42Speaker 4: Pretty much?
- 6:42Speaker 13: So we had like a table where the president, vice
- 6:45Speaker 13: president and all the chairs sat and they faced us
- 6:48Speaker 13: like it was recular, and then a gavel.
- 6:49Speaker 2: We would do roll call like see the name.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Yeah, and you had to wear a skirt in our era.
- 6:56Speaker 6: Yeah, same, that's.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Still a thing over there. A no, we have like
- 7:01Speaker 4: a skirt.
- 7:02Speaker 9: We have one formal chapter meeting, I'm pretty sure it's
- 7:06Speaker 9: every first of the month, and then after that people
- 7:09Speaker 9: are just rolling in our sub pants. And then the
- 7:11Speaker 9: chapter room for us is like once it's it's chapter
- 7:14Speaker 9: room on Mondays, and then after that that's just like
- 7:16Speaker 9: TV hangout room because we have a great TV in
- 7:19Speaker 9: the furniture.
- 7:20Speaker 12: We just do movie there downstairs.
- 7:22Speaker 4: There's a TV in that room now.
- 7:25Speaker 9: And it's the thing that the chapter rooms like sacred
- 7:28Speaker 9: because like people who are not Kapas are not allowed
- 7:30Speaker 9: to go in there. So like we have like the
- 7:32Speaker 9: TV room in Kappa, but then like the Kappas can
- 7:34Speaker 9: have the chapter room to watch like movie nights in
- 7:36Speaker 9: and stuff too, So that's interesting.
- 7:38Speaker 2: So it's like a friend room.
- 7:39Speaker 4: I like that you brought that up. I'm assuming for
- 7:41Speaker 4: the houses that have chapter rooms only the Kappa can
- 7:44Speaker 4: go in there, not guests or boyfriends or whatnot. But
- 7:48Speaker 4: they turned it into a movie room.
- 7:50Speaker 9: Now it's like a cute little TV face courtyard all that.
- 7:54Speaker 6: Dad, It's nice.
- 7:55Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Also, what I'd like to talk about is wearing your letters.
- 7:58Speaker 4: So when I was at and I know at least
- 8:00Speaker 4: one other person in this panel, nobody wore their letters.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Like it was very much not done. I had not
- 8:06Speaker 4: one bit of capa merch. You just would not wear that.
- 8:10Speaker 4: You would not wear that on campus, You would not
- 8:12Speaker 4: wear that at all. What about everybody else?
- 8:15Speaker 11: A high school that was like the uniform like every
- 8:19Speaker 11: soret you made merch that came out every three months probably,
- 8:23Speaker 11: And there were sweatsuits and t shirts from different formals
- 8:27Speaker 11: and events that we had all custom made. Everyone bought them,
- 8:31Speaker 11: and that's.
- 8:31Speaker 3: All you wore a class whoa yeah, same that was
- 8:35Speaker 3: And it was like purses with like like book bags
- 8:38Speaker 3: with like your letters on it, and you wore your sweaters.
- 8:43Speaker 3: You had ten different type of sweaters like all the Yeah,
- 8:47Speaker 3: and then we would make for every like philanthropy event
- 8:51Speaker 3: or at any like date night or formal, we would
- 8:54Speaker 3: make like a shirt and then we would give it
- 8:56Speaker 3: to our dates and then they would wear, you know,
- 8:58Speaker 3: like it was.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like a.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Big memory of like south Sea shirts or something like that.
- 9:03Speaker 6: But I think the guys made that.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Yeah, but w did you wear your letters?
- 9:08Speaker 13: We didn't have any March like we maybe had a
- 9:11Speaker 13: T shirt for Rush, but we didn't, not to the
- 9:14Speaker 13: extent that it was.
- 9:17Speaker 6: Yeah, what about.
- 9:22Speaker 4: M, mom, M and lady H.
- 9:26Speaker 10: I remember we had a really nice bid Day like
- 9:29Speaker 10: each so already got a bid Day T shirt and
- 9:32Speaker 10: you wore those on like the first day of classes
- 9:35Speaker 10: or something like that. And ours was really good looking
- 9:38Speaker 10: for back in the day. It looked like spearmint gum,
- 9:41Speaker 10: kind of like that logo, but it was Bordeaux, not Maroon.
- 9:45Speaker 8: I looked it up. It's Bordeaux. Excuse me.
- 9:48Speaker 10: It was green and Bordeaux kind of Christmas vibes. But
- 9:52Speaker 10: it looked really good, and so we that T shirt
- 9:55Speaker 10: stamp stood out and then maybe a few more, but
- 9:57Speaker 10: nothing like the kids these days, because yeah, well here
- 10:00Speaker 10: has bags and bags and bags.
- 10:03Speaker 8: Yeah, it's insane.
- 10:04Speaker 11: Well, and when you get a big in your sorority,
- 10:08Speaker 11: the three days leading up to it, they'll leave baskets
- 10:11Speaker 11: at your door of all these custom water bottles with
- 10:15Speaker 11: the letters and custom pens and damps and stuff like that.
- 10:19Speaker 11: And then they also leave all their old T shirts
- 10:22Speaker 11: that they don't want. So not only are you getting
- 10:24Speaker 11: new T shirts all the time, you get these T
- 10:26Speaker 11: shirts passed down from generations and that's literally all everybody
- 10:30Speaker 11: wore along with every time there was a game day.
- 10:34Speaker 8: Not to be confused with like your sorority pin that
- 10:37Speaker 8: you get the special one.
- 10:39Speaker 11: We would just have these circle pins made that you
- 10:42Speaker 11: just close into your shirt and it would have your
- 10:44Speaker 11: letters and that's my name days.
- 10:46Speaker 8: And you give them to your mom to wear. Yeah,
- 10:48Speaker 8: you give them.
- 10:49Speaker 11: There's a parent's weekend one that you give to your parents.
- 10:52Speaker 11: There's a siblings one that you give to your siblings.
- 10:54Speaker 11: It's really interesting.
- 10:56Speaker 4: One of our panelists which is holding up a sweatshirt
- 11:00Speaker 4: with her KKG on there.
- 11:03Speaker 7: I know, I think this was our last year of initiate,
- 11:06Speaker 7: like as I was a senior our initiation sweatshirt.
- 11:10Speaker 4: They and you are how old?
- 11:11Speaker 8: H thirty five?
- 11:13Speaker 4: Right, so this was a solid fifteen years ago.
- 11:17Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's I mean the amount of stuff
- 11:21Speaker 7: I had to get rid of like after because you
- 11:23Speaker 7: just similar to others.
- 11:25Speaker 4: It's just too much.
- 11:26Speaker 12: It's overwhelming.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:28Speaker 7: I've seen a lot of people like make blankets from
- 11:29Speaker 7: all their stuff, which I think is really.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Yeah, so to the people in college still and producer E.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Did you all wear your letters?
- 11:40Speaker 9: Yeah, some similar thing of like pass you pass it
- 11:44Speaker 9: down to your little You have like new sweatsets that
- 11:48Speaker 9: come out each semester. We have like the girls in
- 11:51Speaker 9: the in the chapter that like design them for us,
- 11:53Speaker 9: like we know that they're going to be cute. Like
- 11:56Speaker 9: that was like the whole thing that like we always
- 11:57Speaker 9: hear like people talk about was like that that used
- 12:00Speaker 9: to not be cute, sorority merch, and like now it's
- 12:03Speaker 9: like it's like normal, really cute.
- 12:06Speaker 6: So that says that like you just always wear out nowadays.
- 12:08Speaker 10: I think it's.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Interesting because and w you can weigh in on this.
- 12:12Speaker 4: I think we were in sororities at a school at
- 12:16Speaker 4: the time when yes, it was cool, but also it
- 12:20Speaker 4: was not cool. Do you know what I'm saying? Like
- 12:23Speaker 4: it was cool, but also no, it.
- 12:26Speaker 13: Wasn't that like it was not We always knew that
- 12:30Speaker 13: we were not like the Salve, that's for sure, correct
- 12:33Speaker 13: and I not. But even so, cow they weren't like
- 12:37Speaker 13: they weren't wearing their letter. I mean, no one had merch.
- 12:39Speaker 13: Like at UCLA all of our rival schools, we would
- 12:42Speaker 13: be more like, oh, we're a great school. We would
- 12:45Speaker 13: do our school letters and we'd go away games or
- 12:48Speaker 13: they'd come to us.
- 12:49Speaker 4: But I don't think walking onto campus during the nineties
- 12:53Speaker 4: with your sorority stuff on, I feel like you would
- 12:56Speaker 4: have got the stink eye or it just wasn't done.
- 12:59Speaker 4: It was sort of like this is a part of
- 13:02Speaker 4: being at college, but it's not a part of what
- 13:05Speaker 4: you do on campus. Does that make sense.
- 13:08Speaker 10: Yeah, Now it's in your face. It's much more in
- 13:11Speaker 10: your face, and it makes me feel sad for the
- 13:13Speaker 10: girls that didn't rush or didn't get a bit. I
- 13:16Speaker 10: don't know, it feels like excluding la little bit, like
- 13:19Speaker 10: when you see everybody's got their logo on all the time.
- 13:24Speaker 13: Yeah, I'll have to say, in our day at our
- 13:27Speaker 13: school with host a, we you could go, you could
- 13:32Speaker 13: go to a party and legitimately not know who was
- 13:35Speaker 13: in a sorority or not. I mean there's a lot
- 13:38Speaker 13: of girls that we hung out with that I always
- 13:40Speaker 13: thought they were kappas because they weren't in my sorority
- 13:42Speaker 13: house and then come to find out they were never
- 13:44Speaker 13: in a sorority.
- 13:45Speaker 6: They just run our friend group.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Yeah, but I would say the majority I still were
- 13:49Speaker 4: in the Greek system. Like, would you have dated a
- 13:53Speaker 4: guy that wasn't in the Greek system? I did, but
- 13:56Speaker 4: they weren't an athlete. Yeah, okay, I copy at that.
- 14:00Speaker 4: If they weren't an athlete, I just don't that would
- 14:03Speaker 4: have been I don't even know how I would know them.
- 14:07Speaker 13: Well, the Greek system at our school made our little
- 14:09Speaker 13: circle smaller because the school was so overwhelming. It was
- 14:13Speaker 13: so big and you know urban.
- 14:30Speaker 4: For the people on the panel, do you mostly do you?
- 14:33Speaker 4: I just acted like we're all twenty years old, did you?
- 14:37Speaker 4: Or do you mostly only date people in the Greek system?
- 14:42Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 14:42Speaker 10: Mine was an athlete. Yeah, but he was the captain
- 14:46Speaker 10: of the lacrosse team and that was like his fraternity,
- 14:49Speaker 10: you know, like being That's what he always says, Like
- 14:52Speaker 10: the team was kind of filled that for him. Plus
- 14:55Speaker 10: we went to super small school with three fraternities, so
- 15:00Speaker 10: that worked out for him for us.
- 15:02Speaker 11: Yeah, I feel like the majority of people in authority
- 15:05Speaker 11: would only go for fraternity guys. But then again, like
- 15:09Speaker 11: I was saying earlier, just the southern thing to do
- 15:12Speaker 11: is to go Greek.
- 15:13Speaker 8: So I would say probably eighty percent of my school
- 15:17Speaker 8: was in the Greek system.
- 15:18Speaker 11: There were many houses and oh and that brings up
- 15:21Speaker 11: another good point. Not only would you wear your letters
- 15:25Speaker 11: if you ever shocked with a boy and he would
- 15:29Speaker 11: give you a T shirt and then you would wear
- 15:31Speaker 11: his letters, And that was like the biggest flux of
- 15:34Speaker 11: all time.
- 15:34Speaker 8: Everyone was jealous of you and they were like, I.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Did get that bad, I'm getting that. I'm getting what
- 15:39Speaker 4: you're putting down there, Like I would I get that?
- 15:42Speaker 9: A and E?
- 15:43Speaker 4: Do you did you do you mostly date within the
- 15:46Speaker 4: Greek system or not at your schools?
- 15:50Speaker 9: I didn't rush until my sophomore year, so like, I'm
- 15:54Speaker 9: actually pretty the opposite where like I grew up athlete
- 15:58Speaker 9: culture freshman year and like I wasn't even like technically
- 16:01Speaker 9: allowed to get into like the frat parties because I
- 16:05Speaker 9: wasn't in a sorority and I had had a bid
- 16:07Speaker 9: to get in to the parties that the fraternities would
- 16:11Speaker 9: give out to the sororities. So like, once I joined
- 16:14Speaker 9: Greek life, I was like, I don't know anyone here.
- 16:18Speaker 9: I just know my chapter and like that's it.
- 16:20Speaker 5: I'm good with that.
- 16:21Speaker 9: So but I would say, like, I think it's I
- 16:23Speaker 9: think it kind of varies. Now I feel like I
- 16:25Speaker 9: see a lot more Like there's a lot more athletes now,
- 16:28Speaker 9: it's like more normal for athletes to be in Greek life.
- 16:31Speaker 8: Now, I feel like I'm starting to see more of
- 16:33Speaker 8: a mix.
- 16:35Speaker 4: And producer. E.
- 16:36Speaker 12: Yeah, I loved frat boys.
- 16:42Speaker 6: I did love boys.
- 16:44Speaker 12: I did.
- 16:45Speaker 6: I like them a lot.
- 16:46Speaker 4: I think my girls do. I think I still do.
- 16:50Speaker 12: Yeah, I still do. I'm like, and what house each.
- 16:53Speaker 4: Did you marry a fraternity boy or no?
- 16:56Speaker 12: No, he was an athlete in college?
- 16:58Speaker 4: Okay. See it seems very in that this is a
- 17:01Speaker 4: recurring theme that if you weren't in the Greek system
- 17:03Speaker 4: but you were an athlete, it's almost like a pass.
- 17:06Speaker 4: None of us were like, no, I just met my
- 17:08Speaker 4: husband or boyfriend in chemistry.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Like it's I think.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I think because fraternities in sports are communities, and it's
- 17:18Speaker 1: kind of interesting when people are part of communities because
- 17:21Speaker 1: it gives off other clues, like they're social, they have friends,
- 17:24Speaker 1: they have passions, you know.
- 17:26Speaker 7: Yeah, and athletes were always invited to our fraternity parties
- 17:30Speaker 7: as well, like they could come.
- 17:32Speaker 4: Totally and it was kind of like extra cool. Like
- 17:36Speaker 4: I remember being at an SAE party and there was
- 17:38Speaker 4: always a couple football players there and You're like, oh
- 17:41Speaker 4: my gosh, so and So's here.
- 17:43Speaker 13: Wow, well they it was easier for the athletes to
- 17:46Speaker 13: be in fraternities in our day now, like they're just
- 17:50Speaker 13: so focused on the sport they're not really allowed to
- 17:52Speaker 13: be in fraternities. But yeah, so then though, you had
- 17:55Speaker 13: your double threats. Yeah, the athletes and.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Lady W Madam W. That is correct. If you were
- 18:04Speaker 4: dating the guy that was in the fraternity and the athlete,
- 18:11Speaker 4: I mean you were you were winning. That's what you
- 18:14Speaker 4: call that's what you call a smoke.
- 18:17Speaker 6: Yes, yeah, I mean you're.
- 18:21Speaker 4: I'm getting in my mind a couple guys that then
- 18:26Speaker 4: played professional football, and I'm just like like, I don't know,
- 18:31Speaker 4: w if you're thinking of the same thing. But it's
- 18:32Speaker 4: like there's a there was a couple guys that were
- 18:36Speaker 4: fraternity guys cal football players that went into the NFL,
- 18:40Speaker 4: and it's like, well that's the trifecta, Like you've just
- 18:43Speaker 4: you've really won the lottery.
- 18:44Speaker 6: I think with that, Yeah, well you could. I don't
- 18:48Speaker 6: know I have.
- 18:49Speaker 4: We had some Olympians too.
- 18:51Speaker 13: A huh slash yeah, frat slash Olympian.
- 18:56Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 18:56Speaker 6: I tapped a lot of those. I married one and
- 19:00Speaker 6: spent a lot of time with a lot of the others.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:03Speaker 6: I had a lot of notches.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, those were the days. I'm trying to
- 19:07Speaker 4: get those, get those back again. Okay, So I want
- 19:09Speaker 4: to talk about something. Did everybody in this panel make
- 19:13Speaker 4: it to the end? Did anyone have to deactivate?
- 19:18Speaker 8: I dropped out?
- 19:19Speaker 6: Oh god, I was dishonorably discharged. Wow.
- 19:24Speaker 4: Okay, if you don't mind telling us your situations, it's anonymous.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Why don't we begin with L and then we'll go
- 19:31Speaker 4: to W.
- 19:32Speaker 8: Okay, So, I mean mine was really not that big
- 19:35Speaker 8: of a drama.
- 19:36Speaker 11: Basically, what happened is the summer after my junior year,
- 19:42Speaker 11: I was doing this internship that I absolutely loved, and
- 19:47Speaker 11: I was coming up on senior year and they wanted
- 19:51Speaker 11: me to come back and recruit, which meant that I
- 19:53Speaker 11: would have had to go back to school two weeks early,
- 19:57Speaker 11: move in early, all of that, and I would have
- 19:59Speaker 11: had to stop my internship early because I wasn't blaming
- 20:03Speaker 11: originally to go to recruitment.
- 20:05Speaker 8: And I was like, oh, I'm gonna pass.
- 20:07Speaker 11: I have this internship, but I didn't get it excused
- 20:10Speaker 11: in time, which was like probably my bad. But anyways,
- 20:14Speaker 11: they came back to me and they were like, if
- 20:17Speaker 11: you don't come and recruit, we're gonna find you one
- 20:19Speaker 11: thousand dollars.
- 20:21Speaker 8: And I was like, a thousand dollars.
- 20:23Speaker 11: I don't even feel like at first, being in Shorty
- 20:27Speaker 11: is so much fun, it's so exciting, but I feel
- 20:29Speaker 11: like as time goes on, you kind of phase out
- 20:31Speaker 11: of like, at least for me, I kind of phased
- 20:34Speaker 11: out of caring as much or wanting to be as
- 20:38Speaker 11: involved as I was maybe sophomore year, you know. So
- 20:43Speaker 11: I really thought about it and I was like, Okay,
- 20:46Speaker 11: go recruit, which I didn't want to do. Pay a
- 20:49Speaker 11: thousand dollars or drop out, and I was like, I'm
- 20:53Speaker 11: gonna drop out and.
- 20:55Speaker 4: This was your senior year. Did you drop out senior year?
- 20:57Speaker 11: Yeah, this was right before my senior year started, So
- 21:00Speaker 11: I just wasn't in it the last year of college,
- 21:02Speaker 11: which ended up being fine because by then I was
- 21:04Speaker 11: already established and how my friends and then I kind
- 21:07Speaker 11: of just skipped out on chapter.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Well, my question for you would be, do you consider
- 21:11Speaker 4: yourself a FATA.
- 21:14Speaker 11: See that's a tough question because in my mind, yes,
- 21:19Speaker 11: because I went through initiation and I went through all
- 21:22Speaker 11: the things, and I still have so many friends that
- 21:25Speaker 11: were in it, and I absolutely did love it. But
- 21:30Speaker 11: then on the other hand, I feel like it's maybe
- 21:33Speaker 11: offensive to other people for me to call myself that
- 21:36Speaker 11: because I kind of skipped out on the end.
- 21:39Speaker 4: So I do technically, so we can explain to people
- 21:41Speaker 4: listening technically to be considered and somebody keep me honest.
- 21:47Speaker 4: A sorority alumna, I don't know how you say it.
- 21:51Speaker 4: You have to make it the whole way. You can't
- 21:54Speaker 4: you can't leave early or you lose your ability to
- 21:58Speaker 4: be affiliated with the sorority. Does that Is that how
- 22:00Speaker 4: everybody sort of feels?
- 22:02Speaker 6: Yes?
- 22:02Speaker 8: Correct, I think so too.
- 22:04Speaker 11: So it's hard because having had that experience anytime someone's like,
- 22:09Speaker 11: oh I was a theta, I'm like, oh I was too.
- 22:11Speaker 8: And then I'm like, oh, could I say that?
- 22:13Speaker 10: I don't know, And as Elle's mom, I was really
- 22:18Speaker 10: nervous about her regretting it in the long run, and
- 22:21Speaker 10: so I just said like we need to, you know,
- 22:25Speaker 10: sort of do.
- 22:28Speaker 8: Like highs and.
- 22:28Speaker 10: Lows, like what's what's at stake here? And you were like,
- 22:33Speaker 10: I'm not going to get to wear the cord at graduation.
- 22:36Speaker 4: But you didn't think that's interesting.
- 22:38Speaker 10: Yeah, you can record it graduation, which you didn't think
- 22:41Speaker 10: it was a problem, and then there was maybe one
- 22:44Speaker 10: other thing, but when you.
- 22:45Speaker 8: Checked and balanced it out, like you were totally fine
- 22:48Speaker 8: with your decision. Yeah, it doesn't seem like you regret it. No,
- 22:51Speaker 8: I don't feel like I do. I really did enjoy
- 22:54Speaker 8: it for the time that I did it. But then
- 22:56Speaker 8: I was kind of like, well, I'm good.
- 22:58Speaker 7: I was considering dropping out my senior year and the
- 23:00Speaker 7: reason for financial reasons, and the reason I didn't was
- 23:04Speaker 7: so that I could get the alumni status and have
- 23:07Speaker 7: it for like networking possibilities for my career and things
- 23:11Speaker 7: like that.
- 23:11Speaker 5: So I did end up.
- 23:13Speaker 7: I'm like, you kind of Like by senior year, I
- 23:16Speaker 7: was a bit checked out of it, and it was like,
- 23:17Speaker 7: I have a different life that's not centered around the Southrity.
- 23:21Speaker 7: But because I wanted like those networking opportunities and things
- 23:25Speaker 7: like that, I stuck it out till the end to
- 23:28Speaker 7: be considered a a cap cap gamma.
- 23:31Speaker 4: So I get that, what w what happened to you?
- 23:34Speaker 5: You do?
- 23:35Speaker 13: I guess I didn't admit it and actively like try
- 23:39Speaker 13: to remove myself from the house. A bunch of us
- 23:43Speaker 13: moved onto North Side senior year, like eight of us,
- 23:46Speaker 13: and we would go to Monday night meetings, but we
- 23:48Speaker 13: would get fined or I guess, I don't know. I
- 23:51Speaker 13: think I didn't learn that. I was like, what do
- 23:54Speaker 13: you call it? It's not like bad standing? Yeah, I
- 23:57Speaker 13: called it live in them with bad standing. So I
- 23:59Speaker 13: was able to join the alumni network, but I didn't
- 24:03Speaker 13: actively leave. And then I have like thirty five hundred
- 24:06Speaker 13: dollars worth of unpaid bills apparently that my dad.
- 24:08Speaker 6: Didn't pay and I didn't.
- 24:10Speaker 13: Yeah, I didn't learn of this until I went because
- 24:13Speaker 13: you had to go online to write a letter of
- 24:16Speaker 13: wreck huh for a couple of kids in our neighborhood girls.
- 24:21Speaker 13: They were older than my girls and I didn't so
- 24:24Speaker 13: I didn't learn of this until this is well before
- 24:27Speaker 13: my girls were going to school, so I was a
- 24:30Speaker 13: little nervous they wouldn't get into PIEVI. But I went
- 24:33Speaker 13: to go online and they said, oh, we can't accept
- 24:35Speaker 13: your whatever sorority number. Your name shows up as unpaid
- 24:40Speaker 13: bills from nineteen ninety four. So like they knew my chapter,
- 24:45Speaker 13: they knew my style. And this was like, you know
- 24:47Speaker 13: that whatever chapter wherever? Where's headquarters for pipevis at Illinois?
- 24:52Speaker 13: I can't remember, Yeah, but someone was keeping track on paper.
- 24:56Speaker 13: So thirty five hundred dollars of bills my dad did
- 24:59Speaker 13: not pay senior year because we moved out because he
- 25:01Speaker 13: didn't think he needed to pay the bills.
- 25:02Speaker 6: So wow, it's more of like it.
- 25:06Speaker 4: Can you technically not so you cannot write recommendation letter.
- 25:10Speaker 13: No, So that is a bad thing about being not
- 25:13Speaker 13: being in good standing alumnus.
- 25:15Speaker 11: I don't think that I could write it one. No,
- 25:19Speaker 11: I think there's no way.
- 25:21Speaker 4: I think the tough thing at our school was at
- 25:23Speaker 4: the time, and it's different now. If you moved out,
- 25:26Speaker 4: if you did not want to live in the house
- 25:27Speaker 4: senior year, you had to deactivate because at the time
- 25:30Speaker 4: you're required to live in the house. That is not
- 25:31Speaker 4: the case other places. For me, I agree with h
- 25:36Speaker 4: that there was something to being able to have it
- 25:40Speaker 4: into eternity, you know, rather than not have it. So
- 25:46Speaker 4: the others, e you made it the whole way.
- 25:51Speaker 12: I made it. Yeah, we're good, paid, you're good. On
- 25:56Speaker 12: the rec.
- 25:56Speaker 6: Side, You're welcome.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Two mother daughters here.
- 26:01Speaker 6: Thanks daughters.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Okay, let's do a speed round and I'm just gonna
- 26:06Speaker 4: go through some of the young young things and have
- 26:09Speaker 4: the young people tell us. We want to do some
- 26:13Speaker 4: college lingo. So this is not sorority lingo, but this
- 26:17Speaker 4: is just general college lingo. And i'd like the young
- 26:20Speaker 4: ones too. In just a few words, explain what these are.
- 26:24Speaker 12: Uh Riz parisma, sus, suspicialist.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Sneaky link. This is a good one.
- 26:32Speaker 12: I just learned your secret hookup.
- 26:36Speaker 2: That's good.
- 26:38Speaker 4: But tell me more about this. So a sneaky link
- 26:40Speaker 4: is a fraternity boy.
- 26:41Speaker 9: It can be anyone can be some guy that like
- 26:44Speaker 9: you're gonna go have like a late night hookup with that,
- 26:47Speaker 9: like you shouldn't that. You guys are like not saying
- 26:49Speaker 9: anything about because he's not like, boyfriend, do you.
- 26:52Speaker 4: Like makeout or whatever?
- 26:53Speaker 12: No strengths attached, No strengths attached, Like that's the sneaky link.
- 26:57Speaker 4: And do your sorority sisters know about your sneaky.
- 27:00Speaker 9: Your friends know about your sneaky link, but like you
- 27:02Speaker 9: don't want like outside people knowing about your sneaky link.
- 27:06Speaker 12: Attached to sneaky link. Everyone I know would.
- 27:09Speaker 14: Always have the thought of, like if something bad happened
- 27:12Speaker 14: to their sneaky link, because you had like secret emotional
- 27:16Speaker 14: connection to them, but no one else knew about it.
- 27:19Speaker 12: So like I would always think, like.
- 27:22Speaker 4: If your sneaky link died, you couldn't go to the funeral. Yeah, speak,
- 27:25Speaker 4: you just have to be the woman in black with some.
- 27:27Speaker 13: Yeah yeah, I mean We've got a term for that
- 27:30Speaker 13: in our generation.
- 27:32Speaker 6: I'll tell you when we get to our generation.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Yeah I need to know. Okay, so remember situationship. Everybody
- 27:39Speaker 4: knows I'm skipping that one. Crash out.
- 27:41Speaker 8: Crash out is exactly how it says it. It's just
- 27:44Speaker 8: like you're crashing out of something. You're just like, what's
- 27:47Speaker 8: going on?
- 27:48Speaker 4: When you and I were in the car the other day,
- 27:50Speaker 4: did I crash out? When that woman.
- 27:52Speaker 11: I would consider that a crash I would too, but
- 27:55Speaker 11: it was like pretty valid crash out.
- 27:57Speaker 4: I would say lower lower? What is Laura? I hear
- 28:01Speaker 4: you guys say this all the.
- 28:01Speaker 12: Time, like your secret backstory.
- 28:04Speaker 9: Like that's like like you're like, whoa, I didn't know
- 28:07Speaker 9: that about you.
- 28:07Speaker 6: That's lore.
- 28:09Speaker 5: That's a good one.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Is this one? Bet? Bet?
- 28:27Speaker 6: Bet?
- 28:27Speaker 9: It's like saying okay, like like you could be like,
- 28:30Speaker 9: let's hang out at five okay, bet?
- 28:32Speaker 4: Oh so it's like you bet, yeah kind of so
- 28:35Speaker 4: you guys are so busy that you had to shorten it.
- 28:37Speaker 6: Okay.
- 28:38Speaker 4: The Lulu, we all know what is?
- 28:40Speaker 5: She ate?
- 28:41Speaker 12: She ate?
- 28:42Speaker 6: Like she this is my favorite from this generation. I love.
- 28:47Speaker 6: I wish I would say.
- 28:47Speaker 12: So, like, so good, that girl's a queen.
- 28:51Speaker 11: She ate and lest no crumbs exactly see something.
- 28:58Speaker 12: I feel like killed that and I.
- 29:00Speaker 4: Feel like the other day. I ate and then I
- 29:03Speaker 4: then I pooped the bucket like I ate, and then
- 29:05Speaker 4: I yeah I did. I was doing so good. I ate,
- 29:10Speaker 4: and then it was like I don't know what happened. Okay,
- 29:13Speaker 4: what is low KEI versus high key?
- 29:16Speaker 5: Another giddy?
- 29:17Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 29:18Speaker 2: How do I explain that low keys? Like you say
- 29:22Speaker 2: It's like.
- 29:24Speaker 9: You could say, like, I'm kind of upset low key,
- 29:26Speaker 9: and it's like, I'm not that upset, like semi like
- 29:29Speaker 9: I'm semi upset, like I'm I'm low key upset right now.
- 29:34Speaker 9: And then if it's like high key, it's like you
- 29:36Speaker 9: high pretty upset, I'm up, I'm livid.
- 29:39Speaker 4: Are you crashing out? If you're high.
- 29:40Speaker 9: Key almost yes, you're you're pretty much there.
- 29:44Speaker 4: It's the same thing when they say esthetic. Oh yeah,
- 29:49Speaker 4: like it's so esthetic. That's not correct. They said, what's
- 29:55Speaker 4: what aesthetic means? It has asthetic look, it's esthetically pleasing,
- 30:01Speaker 4: but they use it completely wrong. So they'll just come
- 30:04Speaker 4: into a room and say, it's so aesthetic. What whatever? POV.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Let's talk about POV point of view, but what is that?
- 30:13Speaker 4: But how would you use this?
- 30:14Speaker 14: It's kind of like, listen to my story, I'm setting
- 30:17Speaker 14: the scene point of view, POV.
- 30:20Speaker 12: This is where we are.
- 30:22Speaker 6: Wow?
- 30:23Speaker 12: Does that make sense?
- 30:24Speaker 9: You know someone will post and be like POV, I
- 30:28Speaker 9: just fell on the ground and got her in front
- 30:30Speaker 9: of everyone, and like they'll post a photo of it.
- 30:33Speaker 6: It's like POV this.
- 30:35Speaker 4: I will skip to the old generation now and we
- 30:38Speaker 4: will look, we will bring this back. We will bring
- 30:40Speaker 4: back lingo bingo in a few weeks. But I will
- 30:44Speaker 4: rattle off the old generation language, which is terrifying that
- 30:49Speaker 4: we're the old generation because there is another We got
- 30:51Speaker 4: to get the grammas on. But I would like the
- 30:54Speaker 4: old people to comment m W and me, and also
- 30:59Speaker 4: the young ones to say, if they would ever use
- 31:01Speaker 4: these things, that's tight.
- 31:05Speaker 10: That reminds me of what they say. Now, that's lit.
- 31:08Speaker 10: I think that's the new that's tight.
- 31:10Speaker 6: That's not the definition of that's tight.
- 31:13Speaker 4: Well, how would you say that's tight?
- 31:16Speaker 12: And that's W's favorite word.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Talk to me.
- 31:19Speaker 15: W W would use it if I if you get
- 31:25Speaker 15: pushed down a flight of stairs, you look at the
- 31:29Speaker 15: person who did the pushing, you say, that's tight.
- 31:32Speaker 8: That's true, mean kind of col's not cool.
- 31:37Speaker 6: So that is true, low key, not good.
- 31:43Speaker 4: Amazingly accurate. Obviously, we all use rad.
- 31:50Speaker 2: You are the queen of rad Oh.
- 31:51Speaker 4: I'll put it in a text back rad Oh.
- 31:54Speaker 7: My husband quotes you all the time and he's like.
- 31:57Speaker 8: In the in the words of a lady, g D lady.
- 32:02Speaker 13: I think we use rad sarcastically now when we're like, oh,
- 32:06Speaker 13: that is if someone does something stupid.
- 32:08Speaker 6: We're like that was rad.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Sometimes it slips out for me, it's just like cool
- 32:14Speaker 4: rad Uh. Duh is one of my favorite ones that
- 32:17Speaker 4: I think spans all generations. Do we agree?
- 32:21Speaker 8: Yes?
- 32:21Speaker 4: Yes, duh is just so great for sure?
- 32:26Speaker 12: Oh wait, gen Z twist on it ready for this? Yeah, Laida?
- 32:34Speaker 8: Oh it's French?
- 32:37Speaker 4: How can you please use that in a sentence.
- 32:40Speaker 14: Like and it comes with like the full body when
- 32:43Speaker 14: you're when it's the way that you would say duh.
- 32:47Speaker 12: Me and my friends go Lada, Okay, that might work.
- 32:53Speaker 8: That's really good.
- 32:55Speaker 4: Lame, which I think.
- 32:56Speaker 6: That's the best. Yeah, it's the best word because it's
- 33:02Speaker 6: it's very meh. It's like, yeah, it's lame.
- 33:05Speaker 4: Stop being so lame, Like why wouldn't you text me back?
- 33:08Speaker 4: It's so lame, Like, I don't I'm not even doing
- 33:10Speaker 4: anything weird, Just text me back.
- 33:12Speaker 6: Girls can be lame.
- 33:13Speaker 13: Rooms are lame, Situations are lame.
- 33:15Speaker 6: It's lame.
- 33:16Speaker 4: Show is lame?
- 33:17Speaker 6: Easy again? Another low key?
- 33:20Speaker 4: Dinner is so lame.
- 33:21Speaker 13: Yeah, dinner is always was. Monday night meals were always lame.
- 33:26Speaker 4: Now the girls put sleep together on here is that
- 33:29Speaker 4: something that only old people say?
- 33:32Speaker 12: It feels weird? To say sleep together.
- 33:34Speaker 6: We didn't say that, Amy.
- 33:36Speaker 4: I'm not saying I said it, but I certainly did
- 33:39Speaker 4: not say what the crass ladies of today say. I
- 33:43Speaker 4: definitely did not. We would say did you do it?
- 33:46Speaker 7: Well?
- 33:47Speaker 6: You know what? Yeah, you are right.
- 33:49Speaker 13: We didn't even say anything remotely like that. If you
- 33:53Speaker 13: hooked up with someone or scam was another word that
- 33:57Speaker 13: we used. It was always kissing and if there was,
- 34:01Speaker 13: if there was sex, no one talked about it.
- 34:04Speaker 4: That is accurate, Madam w. That is so accurate. There's
- 34:08Speaker 4: so much less talking about it. Yep, and not. I'm
- 34:11Speaker 4: not even saying it was shameful or not. It just
- 34:14Speaker 4: was not talked about. The thing that's very confusing is
- 34:17Speaker 4: when we say hooked up, you definitely were not talking
- 34:19Speaker 4: about doing it.
- 34:21Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 34:21Speaker 6: It was just always just kissing.
- 34:23Speaker 4: Maybe laying down, maybe laying down kissing, laying down kissing.
- 34:27Speaker 6: Like it was getting together, hooking up, scamming.
- 34:31Speaker 13: We're all about like the you could do that on
- 34:34Speaker 13: the bus on the way to the.
- 34:36Speaker 4: Total mixer scamming. Get together that was People would ask
- 34:40Speaker 4: like did you get together?
- 34:42Speaker 8: Did you hook up?
- 34:42Speaker 4: But not sex, just did you make out?
- 34:45Speaker 6: Yeah? But I don't think we ever young asked.
- 34:52Speaker 7: By the time, were millennials hookup definitely meant sex?
- 34:55Speaker 6: Yeah, it did not mean sex in our day.
- 34:57Speaker 8: Now I feel like it means everything.
- 34:59Speaker 11: And it's pretty mis because some people will be like, well,
- 35:02Speaker 11: we hooked up, but they just meet in that day kiss,
- 35:04Speaker 11: or some people.
- 35:05Speaker 8: Will say, oh, we hooked up, and it'll mean sex,
- 35:08Speaker 8: and but it's just kind of mysterious. It's like, oh,
- 35:10Speaker 8: we hooked up. The lines are blurred.
- 35:15Speaker 11: But also sometimes it's funny hearing the order generation you
- 35:19Speaker 11: hook up in the sense of like getting together with friends.
- 35:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm like, no, no, we do that all the time.
- 35:28Speaker 4: I'd be like, do you want to hook up later?
- 35:30Speaker 13: Yeah? That was My kids were so like over me
- 35:34Speaker 13: asking them, And you can hook up with your friends
- 35:37Speaker 13: after school, like surely not.
- 35:40Speaker 12: I think what people are not just so strong.
- 35:43Speaker 9: What people are more confused about now is when parents
- 35:46Speaker 9: say like, oh, you're dating, and it's like, no, we're
- 35:48Speaker 9: not dating. Like but then they'll be like, wait, you
- 35:50Speaker 9: guys are going on dates, so that means that you're dating.
- 35:53Speaker 9: That doesn't mean that you're dating though.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Confusing.
- 35:57Speaker 8: Yeah, the whole talking and dating dating.
- 36:00Speaker 9: Has to be boyfriend, girlfriend, like you have the blamed
- 36:04Speaker 9: labeled boyfriend girlfriend to be considered dating. If you're going
- 36:08Speaker 9: on dates though, and there's no label, you guys are
- 36:10Speaker 9: just talking and then that means you're just in a situationship.
- 36:13Speaker 9: And that's where the situationship comes into play.
- 36:16Speaker 4: So you can be going on dates with someone you're
- 36:18Speaker 4: just talking to. Yes, makes no sense, just letting you know,
- 36:22Speaker 4: no sense? And what is seeing each other? That's what
- 36:25Speaker 4: I hear old people saying. Now we're seeing each other
- 36:27Speaker 4: and I want to be like, please shut up.
- 36:30Speaker 9: I feel like seeing each other as just you're talking
- 36:32Speaker 9: to them like I'm talking to blah blah blah.
- 36:34Speaker 12: But we don't even say that.
- 36:35Speaker 4: It feels so old to me.
- 36:36Speaker 12: It's like we don't say that. We don't say seeing
- 36:38Speaker 12: each other.
- 36:39Speaker 4: Do you say going steady?
- 36:43Speaker 7: No?
- 36:44Speaker 6: One says that that's from the fifties?
- 36:46Speaker 4: Correct, that's what I'm saying that that is. I don't
- 36:49Speaker 4: even correct, Thank you, m. I think going steady is
- 36:53Speaker 4: in the fifties happy days era. Yeah, or that's the
- 36:56Speaker 4: one above us. Now what about this one, which is
- 36:58Speaker 4: a classic classic sorority term. We used rager. It was
- 37:05Speaker 4: a rager that was.
- 37:07Speaker 6: The only way to describe a party. Yes, are we
- 37:11Speaker 6: gonna rage? Do you a rage? Let's rage?
- 37:14Speaker 12: It sounds so cheesy.
- 37:16Speaker 8: We we still use that.
- 37:17Speaker 11: And to take it a step further, if it was
- 37:20Speaker 11: a day party rather than a night party, it.
- 37:22Speaker 4: Was a danger.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Right.
- 37:23Speaker 4: We were very clever with that kid. We never used danger,
- 37:27Speaker 4: but I wish we did.
- 37:28Speaker 8: I love danger. The whole debate was danger or darty.
- 37:32Speaker 8: I like dager.
- 37:33Speaker 4: What's a darty? Same thing a day party? I like
- 37:41Speaker 4: dayger though. That's a well.
- 37:43Speaker 8: It's a good it's a good one.
- 37:45Speaker 9: Wow.
- 37:46Speaker 4: We are gonna need to bring this back in another
- 37:51Speaker 4: month or so because I feel like we are going
- 37:53Speaker 4: to have a lot more lingo bingo. And that is
- 37:57Speaker 4: another episode of Dirty Rush The Truth about Sorority Life.
