- 0:08Speaker 1: Welcome to the Favorites, the podcast from the actual Network.
- 0:14Speaker 1: I'm Chad Millman. Listen, it's the last show of the
- 0:18Speaker 1: NFL season, So we're gonna bring it. We're gonna bring
- 0:22Speaker 1: it with everything we have, and we're gonna go through
- 0:27Speaker 1: all of the most popular things that we've done all year.
- 0:32Speaker 1: The last segment, as it has been all year of
- 0:35Speaker 1: the show, will be Darn Ravelle and Professional Better Simon Hunter. Uh.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Last time we were all together, it was a live show.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Simon was in the studio. It was fantastic. He told
- 0:47Speaker 1: great stories about betters he knew winning seventy tho dollars
- 0:52Speaker 1: on the Chiefs because they've bet a thousand dollars on
- 0:55Speaker 1: the Chiefs at seventy to one in the first half
- 0:58Speaker 1: against the Texans in that Visional playoff, which was fantastic.
- 1:03Speaker 1: We're gonna go over the super Bowl. We're gonna go
- 1:05Speaker 1: over the total, We're going to go over the size.
- 1:07Speaker 1: There's so much interesting stuff happening with that. Before they
- 1:12Speaker 1: come on, we're going to have the winner of this
- 1:15Speaker 1: year's Get Your Prop Up in Vegas Contest, the eleventh
- 1:19Speaker 1: annual year that Scooch and I have done it. We
- 1:23Speaker 1: had another fantastic year of submissions. Scooch and I reviewed
- 1:27Speaker 1: them last night. I had notified the winner. He was
- 1:30Speaker 1: super excited, I could tell via email. Even the email
- 1:34Speaker 1: gives no emotional context. But first, before we get to
- 1:40Speaker 1: any of that, from the Orleans representing all the Boyd
- 1:45Speaker 1: gaming books from the Fighting State of Nevada, Mr Bob Scucci,
- 2:07Speaker 1: boom Chad, what's going on? Are you ready? I am ready?
- 2:15Speaker 1: What a week? So as a bookmaker, do you look
- 2:19Speaker 1: forward to the business of Super Bowl? Do you dread it?
- 2:22Speaker 1: Do you make it? Doesn't make you nervous? How do
- 2:24Speaker 1: you what's your perspective on it? All of the above,
- 2:28Speaker 1: every possible emotion leading up to the game, because there's
- 2:32Speaker 1: that that sense of like anxiety because you've got to
- 2:36Speaker 1: get all these propositions up and make sure they're all correct,
- 2:40Speaker 1: and there's this that whole process, and then of course
- 2:43Speaker 1: booking them all throughout the week and your mind is
- 2:45Speaker 1: always going and uh and then of course kind of
- 2:49Speaker 1: the kind of a crescendo up to the game and
- 2:52Speaker 1: then you know, typically, I mean even days after the
- 2:56Speaker 1: game is over, you're still dreaming of all these probably
- 3:00Speaker 1: like you have you ever had those work dreams, like
- 3:02Speaker 1: you feel like you're still working. It takes a couple
- 3:05Speaker 1: of days after the super Bowl to kind of wind down.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I mean, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday after the super Bowl, I'm
- 3:11Speaker 1: still thinking of these props. And then you wake up
- 3:13Speaker 1: and you're like, oh, game's over, you can forget about it. No, No,
- 3:16Speaker 1: I totally yet it. Listen, I have I'm a terrible
- 3:19Speaker 1: sleeper and ever since I took this job at Action Network.
- 3:23Speaker 1: While it's going really well, certainly the stresses of leaving
- 3:27Speaker 1: ESPN two years ago for a startup are challenging, and
- 3:32Speaker 1: I find myself awake in the middle of the night
- 3:37Speaker 1: all the time dreaming about something from work. This more
- 3:42Speaker 1: last night. Last night, I woke up in the middle
- 3:45Speaker 1: of the night and like I I was sweating like crazy,
- 3:50Speaker 1: and I kept dreaming that I had to be somewhere,
- 3:56Speaker 1: And I woke up fifteen minutes before I had to
- 3:59Speaker 1: be there, and I couldn't get dressed because I had
- 4:03Speaker 1: so many shirts on and I couldn't get them all
- 4:06Speaker 1: off in time to actually to actually to actually put
- 4:11Speaker 1: my clothes on that I had to wear to go
- 4:14Speaker 1: to this meeting. Oh that is too much. I mean
- 4:18Speaker 1: that just shows the anxiety that you know for all
- 4:21Speaker 1: these things that you're constantly thinking about, and uh, it
- 4:24Speaker 1: kind of kind of builds up into those times, manifests
- 4:28Speaker 1: itself into those dreams. What do you think that means
- 4:30Speaker 1: that I was wearing so many shirts that I couldn't
- 4:34Speaker 1: get them off. You got too much on your shoulders. Man, Wow,
- 4:43Speaker 1: that is fantastic that. What's most pathetic about this is
- 4:47Speaker 1: a two thirty in the morning. My wife went to
- 4:51Speaker 1: the bathroom and then I passed her going to the bathroom.
- 4:57Speaker 1: So so authetic. You can't give me enough melatonin to
- 5:03Speaker 1: fall asleep at night? Yeah, no, I I'm with you.
- 5:06Speaker 1: You know, I wake up three thirty in the morning,
- 5:08Speaker 1: four o'clock in the morning remembering an email that I
- 5:11Speaker 1: should have responded to and that and then that will
- 5:13Speaker 1: keep me up and then I won't be able to
- 5:15Speaker 1: get back to sleep. Well, it's also like when I
- 5:18Speaker 1: get in bed at night and I take out my contacts,
- 5:20Speaker 1: I can't see a thing. I have a degenerative eye
- 5:23Speaker 1: disease as many people know, called carotaconis, and so without contacts,
- 5:27Speaker 1: I'm really pretty much blind. And so I will get
- 5:30Speaker 1: in bed and then my mind will be racing and
- 5:32Speaker 1: I'll remember, Shoot, I didn't like remind myself to do X,
- 5:35Speaker 1: Y and Z. So for about five minutes before I
- 5:38Speaker 1: go to bed, I'm just telling my wife, text me this,
- 5:41Speaker 1: text me this, text me this. So I wake up
- 5:43Speaker 1: in the morning and I have like a list of
- 5:45Speaker 1: things to do from my wife that are things that
- 5:47Speaker 1: I had asked her to text me before. How funny?
- 5:51Speaker 1: What is happening in the live Skeoch that were so stretch?
- 5:54Speaker 1: It's the freaking super Bowl and it's going to be
- 5:56Speaker 1: a great game. It's the Chiefs and the Niners. I've
- 5:59Speaker 1: already one, as we know, I've already won because in
- 6:02Speaker 1: my preseason pool, I had the Chiefs and the Niners
- 6:06Speaker 1: both to win the Super Bowl, and so they're playing
- 6:08Speaker 1: each other. So everybody who was in the pool has
- 6:10Speaker 1: already had to pay me um, which was amazing. Uh.
- 6:16Speaker 1: My boss was in the pool. He had to pay
- 6:18Speaker 1: me quite a bit of money. Patrick Keene. He paid
- 6:22Speaker 1: me in one check. Uh, he paid me in a
- 6:25Speaker 1: stack of singles, and he paid me in uh two
- 6:30Speaker 1: dollars worth of coins that he had had his children role.
- 6:39Speaker 1: What do you think of that? That's funny? That's great, outstanding, right. Yeah.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I had to carry that bag from Manhattan to Connecticut
- 6:48Speaker 1: and I almost it weighs like pounds. I almost killed
- 6:53Speaker 1: somebody on the train by accident. Didn't get robbed. Dude.
- 6:59Speaker 1: If someone could carry that and run away, it's a weapon. Uh,
- 7:04Speaker 1: where is your line? Right now? We are at the
- 7:07Speaker 1: Chief's minus one in the total fifty and Uh, it's
- 7:11Speaker 1: just so. I mean that the picket accounts pretty evenly divided. Obviously.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I hear conversations. I listen to people talking about the game,
- 7:19Speaker 1: and everybody's saying how it's hard to make up their mind.
- 7:22Speaker 1: And it's a coin flip. So, and it's reflected in
- 7:24Speaker 1: the line that we opened to pick them. But the
- 7:28Speaker 1: bigger dollar amounts are on the Chiefs. Sharp guys have
- 7:31Speaker 1: not weighed in yet as far as I can see. Um,
- 7:36Speaker 1: we we never went to one and a half, although
- 7:40Speaker 1: I see a lot of places in town did. So
- 7:42Speaker 1: they must have gotten some place some some big bets
- 7:44Speaker 1: on the Chiefs. So it's kind of vacillating between one
- 7:47Speaker 1: and one and a half at most places around town. Uh.
- 7:50Speaker 1: And then the money line, of course is minus one
- 7:53Speaker 1: fifteen on the Chiefs, minus one twenty and maybe slightly
- 7:57Speaker 1: higher if you grab a certain places, but great action
- 8:01Speaker 1: both sides. But I think a lot of people just
- 8:04Speaker 1: can't make up their mind on this one. I really
- 8:06Speaker 1: can't either. I have no UM, I have no strong opinion.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I know that a lot of the guys at the
- 8:11Speaker 1: Action Network don't forget download the free Action Network gap.
- 8:15Speaker 1: It's where I'm getting all the data that I will
- 8:17Speaker 1: talk about in these podcasts, including as Scoochs just said,
- 8:21Speaker 1: the Chiefs being one point favorites in Super Bowl. The
- 8:26Speaker 1: total is fifty looks like about I'd say sixty ish
- 8:33Speaker 1: per cent of the money is on Kansas City right now. UM,
- 8:39Speaker 1: a lot of guys at Action Network I thought the
- 8:43Speaker 1: value was on San Francisco at plus one and a half,
- 8:45Speaker 1: and they bet San Francisco at plus one and a half.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Do you think if you are at plus one and
- 8:50Speaker 1: a half with San Francisco you'd be getting some wise
- 8:52Speaker 1: guy action a little bit. Like I said, they haven't
- 8:56Speaker 1: really tipped their hand which way they're going yet, so
- 9:00Speaker 1: but I think at one and a half they'd be
- 9:02Speaker 1: more inclined to take San Francisco. I mean, just on
- 9:05Speaker 1: the fact that, like you know, a lot of the
- 9:07Speaker 1: simulations that I've seen, some of the things that we've
- 9:10Speaker 1: used over the years that simulates the games a thousand times.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And if it says that it's fifty point eight percent
- 9:17Speaker 1: of the time that Kansas City wins, Yeah, then there's
- 9:20Speaker 1: slightly a more little more value if you're getting one
- 9:23Speaker 1: and a half points, because that translates into a little
- 9:25Speaker 1: higher than that than that percentage. So um, but it's
- 9:30Speaker 1: not like I said, I mean, we're talking kind of
- 9:34Speaker 1: you know, splitting hairs here. There's nothing, there's no clear
- 9:37Speaker 1: value and the fact that there's not a big point
- 9:39Speaker 1: spread actually kind of inhibits betting a little bit. You know,
- 9:42Speaker 1: like when you have a seven point favorite and eight
- 9:44Speaker 1: point favorite in the super Bowl and then you have
- 9:46Speaker 1: a three dollar money line and people know they can
- 9:48Speaker 1: get two and a half to one them by betting
- 9:50Speaker 1: the underdog or you know, take getting seven points, it
- 9:55Speaker 1: stimulates a lot more betting action. When the game is
- 9:57Speaker 1: a pick um, you know, it kind of takes the
- 10:00Speaker 1: they line out of play because you're essentially getting the
- 10:02Speaker 1: same odds as you would betting the point spread. So um,
- 10:07Speaker 1: it's a little a little tricky, and the fact that
- 10:08Speaker 1: people can't make up their mind too. There's no clear
- 10:11Speaker 1: overwhelming favorite. You know, people need to have that that,
- 10:15Speaker 1: you know, someone telling them, hey, this team is supposed
- 10:17Speaker 1: to win and this team is not supposed to win.
- 10:20Speaker 1: They need to have that, and they don't have that
- 10:22Speaker 1: in this game. Yeah. So that's interesting because do you
- 10:25Speaker 1: think that chokes handle a little bit? I think so.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I mean it seems to have, at least initially, unless
- 10:35Speaker 1: you know, something drastically happens in the next week that
- 10:40Speaker 1: kind of goes against the pattern so far. But like
- 10:43Speaker 1: I said, a lot of people just can't make up
- 10:44Speaker 1: their mind in this one. You know, the years that
- 10:48Speaker 1: we've had kind of record handles have been the ones
- 10:51Speaker 1: where you have clearly a lot of people thinking this
- 10:54Speaker 1: team should definitely win and and and then you have
- 10:57Speaker 1: the wise guys putting a bunch of money on the
- 10:59Speaker 1: other side, you know, fading their action. Um, and we
- 11:02Speaker 1: don't have that yet, so you know, it could change. Uh.
- 11:06Speaker 1: You know, I think back to the one year that
- 11:08Speaker 1: the Broncos in the in the Seahawks played and we opened, uh,
- 11:11Speaker 1: you know, the Seahawks at one point favorite, and by
- 11:14Speaker 1: game time, the Broncos remind US three. I mean, that
- 11:17Speaker 1: was a year that you know, the Wise guys were
- 11:19Speaker 1: on Seattle, but the public overwhelmingly felt the Broncos should
- 11:23Speaker 1: have won. You've got that big line movement one way
- 11:26Speaker 1: and then kind of came back the other way. So
- 11:29Speaker 1: that's the kind of thing that stimulates betting. But having
- 11:32Speaker 1: said that, I mean, this year, sports betting in general
- 11:36Speaker 1: is at an all time high, so that alone may
- 11:39Speaker 1: just have created a whole new segment of sports bettors.
- 11:42Speaker 1: So that may translate into a bigger handle. So that's
- 11:49Speaker 1: really interesting. I don't see a kind of a wild
- 11:54Speaker 1: point spread swing with this game because they're not going
- 12:00Speaker 1: to be enough money that comes in and believes the Niners.
- 12:03Speaker 1: The Niners don't have Peyton Manning, you know what I mean,
- 12:06Speaker 1: Like that Broncos team had Peyton man And so I
- 12:09Speaker 1: just don't see anyway in which betters are coming in
- 12:12Speaker 1: and swinging that number so far in the other direction. Uh.
- 12:17Speaker 1: And it's impossible, Like I don't know the wise guys
- 12:19Speaker 1: are going to weigh in on the side here. I've
- 12:22Speaker 1: been thinking about it for eight days. I have no
- 12:23Speaker 1: opinion on this game. None. My opinion is in the fandom.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I just want Andy Reid to win. I think that's it. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 1: there's a there's a couple of uh, you know, side
- 12:35Speaker 1: stories that make it interesting like that, and they finally
- 12:38Speaker 1: gets over the hump. That'd be nice. But uh, I
- 12:42Speaker 1: agree with you. I think those sharp guys now they
- 12:44Speaker 1: are on the the over. So you know, we did
- 12:46Speaker 1: open fifty two and a half fifty three on the
- 12:49Speaker 1: total and we're up to fifty five, and that's a
- 12:52Speaker 1: combination of both public and sharp guys. So I think
- 12:54Speaker 1: the professional handy cappers will find a lot of other angles.
- 12:58Speaker 1: They always do. Um, I think one of them maybe
- 13:02Speaker 1: you know the fact that the normal first half total,
- 13:04Speaker 1: for you know, a fifty two and a half point
- 13:08Speaker 1: total first half total will be somewhere in the neighborhood
- 13:10Speaker 1: of twenty six. Most of the Super Bowls, you know,
- 13:13Speaker 1: you have a lot of low scoring in the first
- 13:15Speaker 1: half and all the scoring in the second half. So
- 13:17Speaker 1: if there's some value you're getting twenty seven, possibly twenty
- 13:21Speaker 1: seven and a half in the first half, going under
- 13:23Speaker 1: that in the first half and then possibly going over
- 13:27Speaker 1: in the second half. There's a lot of the angles
- 13:29Speaker 1: like that that I think the wise they don't necessarily
- 13:32Speaker 1: have to have an opinion on the game itself to
- 13:35Speaker 1: take advantage of the game. Yeah, And I also think
- 13:38Speaker 1: I think the under is going to be the play.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I think the wise guys might just be setting you
- 13:43Speaker 1: up to sort of take the to take the under,
- 13:46Speaker 1: like push it a little bit higher. They both see
- 13:48Speaker 1: this as being one of those things where the Niners
- 13:50Speaker 1: are going to try to control the pace and it's
- 13:53Speaker 1: going to be up to the chief to push the pace.
- 13:56Speaker 1: And so I think you're getting set up for the
- 13:58Speaker 1: guy for the wise has to take the other side. Well,
- 14:02Speaker 1: if we get the under, we're gonna have a decent
- 14:04Speaker 1: super Bowl, I mean, because the total seems to be
- 14:06Speaker 1: the play right now. More so, like you mentioned six,
- 14:09Speaker 1: the money is on the Chiefs. That's not a lot
- 14:12Speaker 1: compared to other Super Bowls, but you know, we're looking
- 14:16Speaker 1: at a lot higher number close to on the total,
- 14:21Speaker 1: the on the over, and the fact that we already
- 14:23Speaker 1: moved the line from fifty two and a half to
- 14:25Speaker 1: fifty five and it's climbing. We're usually not that far
- 14:29Speaker 1: off on the lines that you see that much of
- 14:33Speaker 1: a point spread, and usually when we are that far off,
- 14:36Speaker 1: we we end up have winning the side and having
- 14:39Speaker 1: a pretty decent, decent day. All right, So we've got
- 14:42Speaker 1: our props contest winner on the phone. Before we get
- 14:46Speaker 1: to him, I do want to get from you. Are
- 14:49Speaker 1: there any big props that you've posted that the wise
- 14:52Speaker 1: guys have hit already? Um, well, you know the typical
- 14:58Speaker 1: ones that they've the typical ones that we always get
- 15:02Speaker 1: action on. Or there will be a two point conversion,
- 15:04Speaker 1: there will be a safety. Uh, there will be over time.
- 15:08Speaker 1: And so what happens is the wise guys lay the
- 15:11Speaker 1: big price. They'll they'll lay eight dollars, they'll lay nine dollars,
- 15:15Speaker 1: knowing that the public overwhelmingly is betting the yes on
- 15:18Speaker 1: all three of those. As far as the player props themselves.
- 15:22Speaker 1: The wise guys came in on the uh mahomes is
- 15:26Speaker 1: total pass attempts over under thirty eight and a half,
- 15:30Speaker 1: and they pounded the under thirty eight and a half
- 15:32Speaker 1: on this one. So that might go to your point
- 15:34Speaker 1: where they they actually feel like maybe the under might
- 15:37Speaker 1: be the play and uh, you know some of the
- 15:40Speaker 1: other um uh, the actually the Russian pat mahomes rushing
- 15:45Speaker 1: yards over twenty nine and a half, they bet over
- 15:49Speaker 1: that one. I could see that. I actually I think
- 15:53Speaker 1: the right side is the under twenty nine and a half.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I think I think over as crazy, but I do
- 15:59Speaker 1: think if there's any opportunity to get fleshed out of
- 16:02Speaker 1: the pocket, it's going to be against this Niners front
- 16:06Speaker 1: for Scooch. Are you ready to bring in our contest winner?
- 16:09Speaker 1: At the end of this me, you and our contest
- 16:11Speaker 1: winner are all gonna play Scooch Roulette? Are you ready
- 16:15Speaker 1: to talk about the winner of the get your prop
- 16:19Speaker 1: up in Vegas contest? I am ready on the phone
- 16:27Speaker 1: from the fabulous riverside town of Hoboken, New Jersey, former
- 16:35Speaker 1: home state of Bob Scucci and Chad Millman Rob Bonano.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Rob you there, Hey Chad? How are you? I'm gonna
- 16:47Speaker 1: say we hold to Bob Scucci. Hey, Bob, thanks for
- 16:51Speaker 1: having me alright? So, uh Rob, if I can call
- 16:57Speaker 1: you that? Can I call you Rob? Yes? Are you
- 17:00Speaker 1: a Hoboken native or do you live there now? Because
- 17:03Speaker 1: you transplanted and realized Manhattan was ridiculously expensive? Exactly. So.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I'm originally from Long Island and didn't move too far,
- 17:13Speaker 1: but I went to school up in Boston and then
- 17:15Speaker 1: settled back down at my mom's house after that, and
- 17:18Speaker 1: then shortly thereafter I moved to Hoboken in two thousand nine.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Have been there for ten years and work in the city,
- 17:23Speaker 1: so it's pretty convenient. Communite Long Island. That's the worst.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Everybody everybody at Action Network is from Long Island, like,
- 17:35Speaker 1: honest to God, our head a product is from Long Island.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Darren Ravel is from Long Island. Are head of finance
- 17:42Speaker 1: is from Long Island. Uh Shanzarillo who covers baseball, horse racing,
- 17:46Speaker 1: horse racing, UFC Tennis from Long Island, Long Island. Mike
- 17:50Speaker 1: lieboff are Darren Ravel, wrangler and hockey editor and baseball
- 17:55Speaker 1: editors from Long Island. This place is lousy with Long
- 17:59Speaker 1: Island people. I'm so glad that you got off a
- 18:01Speaker 1: Long Island. How many people still live there? Two there
- 18:08Speaker 1: you go. Yeah, the traffic is pretty unbearable. It's really
- 18:11Speaker 1: when the train ride into the city isn't isn't great either. Meanwhile, hobo,
- 18:15Speaker 1: can you take the path and you get to bet
- 18:17Speaker 1: legally it's golden. I'm actually on the ferry, so I
- 18:20Speaker 1: actually haven't even even they call it the civilized community.
- 18:23Speaker 1: It was a much nicer way to get to the city.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Are you going to tell me that, Um, when you
- 18:29Speaker 1: went to school up in Boston? Was that like your
- 18:31Speaker 1: way of saying you went to Harvard? Absolutely not. I
- 18:35Speaker 1: went to Northeastern, so which is a but I I
- 18:40Speaker 1: I joked that I don't know I would get in
- 18:42Speaker 1: now with the grades I had them so well, nobody
- 18:45Speaker 1: would get into the school they went to twenty years
- 18:48Speaker 1: ago or fifteen years ago, because school has gotten impossibly
- 18:50Speaker 1: hard to get into. Scooch, Do you have anything you
- 18:53Speaker 1: want to ask Rob right now before I reveal the
- 18:55Speaker 1: winning prop? No, my questions will come after you've revealed
- 18:59Speaker 1: the prop. Rob. What do you do in the city?
- 19:03Speaker 1: I worked in finance for an international bank. And um,
- 19:08Speaker 1: how long have you been betting? Well, let's say a
- 19:13Speaker 1: loaded question. I guess so, um, probably back since high
- 19:17Speaker 1: schools when I started, but probably more frequently. And I
- 19:20Speaker 1: will jokingly say, you have access to my account, so
- 19:23Speaker 1: I'm sure you know, uh know all the action that
- 19:25Speaker 1: I had currently ha ha ha uh And um, do
- 19:32Speaker 1: you all right? Let me read? Let me read your
- 19:33Speaker 1: winning prop? Are you ready? Sure? Are you ready? It's
- 19:37Speaker 1: called the Montana. Here's your note. I grew up a
- 19:44Speaker 1: huge Montana guy. So the first thing that came to
- 19:47Speaker 1: my mind was these being the only two teams he
- 19:51Speaker 1: played for. The prop is will the score ever be
- 19:55Speaker 1: nineteen sixteen? The thought being his jersey numbers with both team,
- 20:00Speaker 1: plus the difference between the two being his jersey number
- 20:06Speaker 1: three to one for his three Super Bowl Finals. I
- 20:11Speaker 1: didn't get what that less sentence meant. Three super wom
- 20:15Speaker 1: vp A wars three to one for his three Super
- 20:19Speaker 1: Bowl MVP Awards. MVP Awards, got it, Rob, We thought
- 20:24Speaker 1: it was elegant, clean, creative, thoughtful Scooch tell him why
- 20:32Speaker 1: he won? From your perspective, Yeah, so we're looking for, uh,
- 20:37Speaker 1: several things. One, something that's really easily confirmed, something that
- 20:40Speaker 1: you can kind of go to the NFL website see
- 20:43Speaker 1: the statistics, see the score and UH. And then something
- 20:47Speaker 1: that's easy for the public to bet on. Uh. And
- 20:51Speaker 1: and then of course it has to be topical, and
- 20:54Speaker 1: this was topical. So any other year, obviously, if you
- 20:57Speaker 1: just said, um, you know, is the score going to
- 21:00Speaker 1: be nineteen to sixteen at some point in the game,
- 21:02Speaker 1: it wouldn't have any relevance other than the fact that
- 21:05Speaker 1: Montana wore both jerseys nineteen and sixteen, So it has
- 21:09Speaker 1: the relevance factor of this year's Super Bowl. It's easy
- 21:12Speaker 1: to understand, it's easy to wager. And then the other thing,
- 21:15Speaker 1: I may not use your exact odds on it. I
- 21:18Speaker 1: think we the the yes and the know have to
- 21:20Speaker 1: be a little bit higher. I would make the uh,
- 21:23Speaker 1: you know, the yes probably about the six or seven
- 21:26Speaker 1: to one, and maybe the no minus eight dollars. But
- 21:29Speaker 1: what that does is it increases a little betting because
- 21:32Speaker 1: people like to get five to one, six to one,
- 21:35Speaker 1: seven to one. So I could see a lot of
- 21:36Speaker 1: people betting on the yes and get some of the
- 21:40Speaker 1: sharp guys to kind of come in and and fade
- 21:42Speaker 1: the other the other side. So um, all those things combined,
- 21:47Speaker 1: and I know a lot of other entrance had something
- 21:50Speaker 1: similar to it, so along the same idea, but they
- 21:54Speaker 1: were just a little bit more complex and yours was
- 21:58Speaker 1: Yours was simple and easy understand. So congratulations, well done, now,
- 22:04Speaker 1: thank you. I think that was why I was surprised
- 22:07Speaker 1: that I want. I thought maybe it was a little
- 22:08Speaker 1: too simple, And I actually agree with you on the
- 22:11Speaker 1: odd that was more for the the cohesion of the
- 22:14Speaker 1: whole the formula there um. But I will say that
- 22:19Speaker 1: I will leave the stats and the quants to people
- 22:21Speaker 1: smarter than me, But it seemed like it should be
- 22:23Speaker 1: a little higher, but I didn't. You know, I'm sure
- 22:25Speaker 1: that people that could figure that bet out, which, uh,
- 22:28Speaker 1: I'm sure you've got a good team to do that. Yeah,
- 22:31Speaker 1: and we ran it by the guys, you know, I
- 22:33Speaker 1: ran it by some of the guys are gonna be
- 22:35Speaker 1: booking the props all week long and uh. And they
- 22:38Speaker 1: liked it, and they felt like it was going to
- 22:41Speaker 1: be easy enough for them to book and they would
- 22:43Speaker 1: enjoy booking it, So we're happy to have it. I
- 22:47Speaker 1: will say there were a lot of Joe Montana props
- 22:50Speaker 1: because he did play for the Chiefs and Niners, which
- 22:52Speaker 1: I think raised the bar and winning with this kind
- 22:55Speaker 1: of prop. We had one one from a guy named
- 22:57Speaker 1: Bill Lundy who was able to reference both Alex Smith,
- 23:02Speaker 1: Joe Montana, and a town on the Big Horn River
- 23:08Speaker 1: called Fort Smith, Montana. I thought that was a really
- 23:12Speaker 1: good one. Uh. Matt Hendrickson from d C friend of
- 23:16Speaker 1: the podcast, he did a lot of um extra math
- 23:20Speaker 1: for his UH for his prop, which combines sort of
- 23:24Speaker 1: two point conversions and a lot of different things Matt
- 23:26Speaker 1: It just got too complicated. Scooch couldn't put it on
- 23:28Speaker 1: the board. Um, there were a bunch of sign stealing props.
- 23:31Speaker 1: I wrote a column before UM last week announcing the
- 23:36Speaker 1: prop contest that a lot of times themes helped. So
- 23:38Speaker 1: obviously Joe Montana Alex Smith is a theme that helped.
- 23:41Speaker 1: We had a lot of Astro's sign stealing props penalties
- 23:45Speaker 1: against the Niners or the Chiefs related to the Astro
- 23:49Speaker 1: signed stealing theme. And um, of course there were a
- 23:53Speaker 1: ton of Patrick Mahomes. I was surprised that so many
- 23:58Speaker 1: this one thing. Patrick Mahomes Seniors e r a five
- 24:03Speaker 1: four seven versus juniors yards per rush That was also
- 24:08Speaker 1: a really really big theme. Rob. How long did you
- 24:13Speaker 1: spend thinking about this problem? Uh? To be honest, about
- 24:19Speaker 1: five minutes. It's one of those things that just kind
- 24:21Speaker 1: of hit me so Uh. As I mentioned, I'm a big,
- 24:24Speaker 1: big Joe Montana fan. You know, I'm not that old,
- 24:27Speaker 1: So it was kind of don't remember the early part,
- 24:30Speaker 1: but kind of growing up watching and being a quarterback
- 24:33Speaker 1: in Pop Warner. He was kind of be Tom Brady
- 24:36Speaker 1: of the Super Bowl era before Tom Brady was UM,
- 24:40Speaker 1: so I think I was watching City Around on Monday afternoon,
- 24:42Speaker 1: and then you know, I think, I don't know if
- 24:44Speaker 1: there's something about Montana that came on tv UM. But
- 24:47Speaker 1: then I kind of just started to build it from
- 24:49Speaker 1: there and I figured I'd give it a shot. So
- 24:52Speaker 1: five minutes, that's all you really spent this thing. Five
- 24:55Speaker 1: minutes that's I figured if I if I spent any
- 24:59Speaker 1: more the in that I didn't, I thought I would
- 25:02Speaker 1: overthink it. I kind of got it in my head,
- 25:04Speaker 1: wrote it down, and I said, you know what, let's
- 25:05Speaker 1: go with the Well I and I like the fact.
- 25:10Speaker 1: So going back to you, Joe Montana, when you think
- 25:13Speaker 1: super Bowl, you think, I mean, Tom Brady is the
- 25:16Speaker 1: only one with more Super Bowl m vps than Joe Montana.
- 25:18Speaker 1: So it's it's relevant in several ways. I mean, obviously
- 25:22Speaker 1: he played for the forty Niners in the Chiefs, but
- 25:26Speaker 1: you think super Bowl and you think Joe Montana, So
- 25:28Speaker 1: that's another relevancy. Uh, And I agree with you, he's
- 25:32Speaker 1: been uh one of I'm I consider myself a Montana
- 25:36Speaker 1: guy as well. And uh, we we actually had we
- 25:40Speaker 1: had Joe Montana signing autographs once at the Orleans and
- 25:45Speaker 1: he needed a chair, and we got him this throne
- 25:48Speaker 1: like chair to set up on the stage to do
- 25:51Speaker 1: the uh uh, the autographs, and that chair as soon
- 25:55Speaker 1: as he was done signing, that chair sat in my
- 25:57Speaker 1: office for about ten years and we called it the
- 26:01Speaker 1: Joe Montana chair. And Chad, you actually sat in the
- 26:04Speaker 1: Joe mont Dana chair many times in my office. So
- 26:08Speaker 1: so we consider ourselves big Joe Montana fans as well.
- 26:13Speaker 1: That is a great story, scut I had no idea.
- 26:15Speaker 1: That's so fun. Yeah. Unfortunately, eventually the chair got kind
- 26:20Speaker 1: of old. It's a great wooden chair. Uh, it wasn't
- 26:24Speaker 1: gonna hold up very much longer, but it was a
- 26:27Speaker 1: great chair and everyone knew it as the Joe Montana chair. Well,
- 26:31Speaker 1: like quarterbacks themselves, nothing lasts forever. All right, let's let
- 26:35Speaker 1: uh Rob and by the way, Robert, the two Roberts
- 26:40Speaker 1: can play some scootrow Leisure comes to music. Robinana from
- 26:49Speaker 1: Hoboken by Way along Island, winner of get your Prop
- 26:53Speaker 1: up in Vegas contest. There's gonna be a big picture
- 26:56Speaker 1: that you get sent from us as soon as it
- 26:59Speaker 1: goes up your prop in lights, give us your scooch
- 27:04Speaker 1: roulette pick. So Um, I would be remiss not to
- 27:11Speaker 1: give a small shout out some of my friends who
- 27:13Speaker 1: have been teasing me for years. Um. They like to
- 27:16Speaker 1: say that I only follow handsome quarterbacks, which probably started
- 27:20Speaker 1: with Joe Montana. So that being said, we've got two
- 27:24Speaker 1: decent looking ones here, But I don't know if you
- 27:26Speaker 1: can get more handsome than Jimmy g So I'm gonna
- 27:29Speaker 1: go with the forty Niners. Wow, I don't disagree. That
- 27:33Speaker 1: is a good way to make a decision when the
- 27:35Speaker 1: games are this close, go with an incredibly handsome guy. Scooch,
- 27:40Speaker 1: what do you think of Rob's theory? Are you, um
- 27:45Speaker 1: rethinking everything you just said about the thoughtfulness of his
- 27:48Speaker 1: prop Yeah, we're gonna have to take that back. No,
- 27:53Speaker 1: maybe I don't. I don't like the way maybe he
- 27:55Speaker 1: got there, But I like the final result because I
- 27:58Speaker 1: was also going to pick thet is my Scooch Roulett
- 28:02Speaker 1: pick as well, plus the fact that we're going to
- 28:04Speaker 1: need them and that's going to be our best result.
- 28:06Speaker 1: All right, you know what I'm doing. Then, I am
- 28:09Speaker 1: going with the Kansas City Chiefs, and I'm doing it.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I'm doing it really like, I don't see any advantage here.
- 28:18Speaker 1: In this game at all. I'm doing it because I
- 28:20Speaker 1: just want Andy Reid to win. I feel like Andy
- 28:23Speaker 1: Reid belongs in the conversation of great coaches, and this
- 28:26Speaker 1: is what gets in there, so I'm going to root
- 28:28Speaker 1: for him. I can't. I can't listen to another season
- 28:31Speaker 1: of hoping Andy Reid gets there and how graty is
- 28:34Speaker 1: off of Bye. Just get the guy a title already,
- 28:40Speaker 1: all right, rob Binano, Robert Scucci, this is the end
- 28:47Speaker 1: of the first part of our Super Bowl preview show
- 28:49Speaker 1: stick Around for Simon Hunter and Dan Revel coming up next, Robin, Rob,
- 28:55Speaker 1: you guys are dismissed. Thanks for being on the podcast.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Thank you, thanks for having me. And now a word
- 29:06Speaker 1: from a wise guy with Simon Hunter, my man, Simon Hunter,
- 29:12Speaker 1: Professional Better in New Jersey. A couple weeks ago, you
- 29:17Speaker 1: were in studio. You lit it up for us and
- 29:20Speaker 1: then me, you and Darren Scott Miller from the Action
- 29:23Speaker 1: Network team. It sounds like we're an inchor team, the
- 29:27Speaker 1: Action Network team. Uh. We all went out to dinner,
- 29:30Speaker 1: we tore it up, and then you really tore it up.
- 29:32Speaker 1: I bet because you know the old people like me
- 29:35Speaker 1: went to bed. It's good to see you though. Thanks
- 29:38Speaker 1: for coming to New York. You had a good time. Yeah,
- 29:40Speaker 1: but it was a good time. It was definitely uh
- 29:43Speaker 1: cool come into studio. I'm like doing that whole thing.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I would say that someone that uh is not in
- 29:48Speaker 1: the podcast world. I've never done that before, so sounds
- 29:51Speaker 1: cool experience. But once that, I love New York Man.
- 29:54Speaker 1: The best part of the whole thing was a trade
- 29:56Speaker 1: right back to Jersey. Couldn't wait to get out of
- 29:58Speaker 1: New York. Oh my god, let's into you. Did you
- 30:01Speaker 1: and much? Did you? Uh? He had a great time.
- 30:05Speaker 1: We had a great dinner. You told us some phenomenal
- 30:08Speaker 1: stories about just betting and part of what your life
- 30:13Speaker 1: is like. And you're still riding high. You got some
- 30:17Speaker 1: good actions still to go here. Huh yeah, I mean
- 30:20Speaker 1: I like I was telling you guys in the last podcast.
- 30:23Speaker 1: My my big, my big beat coming into the year
- 30:26Speaker 1: was Chief's Futures. I had them for Division, which I
- 30:29Speaker 1: think most books was minus two hundred going into the year, um,
- 30:35Speaker 1: and then for the a f C like that was.
- 30:37Speaker 1: That was the funny part was if you took preseason
- 30:40Speaker 1: most just because they were the favorite. UM. Some books
- 30:44Speaker 1: had the Patriots to repeat his favorite, but most most
- 30:47Speaker 1: books RAFC had the Chiefs, which was still a good
- 30:51Speaker 1: value at plus two hundred plus two fifty. But the
- 30:54Speaker 1: funniest thing was he went down, Um, I don't I
- 30:59Speaker 1: might be week four or five, and they went on
- 31:02Speaker 1: like a little bit of like they lost three out
- 31:04Speaker 1: of four games. So that was when I hit him again.
- 31:08Speaker 1: For the NFC with they were all way up to
- 31:10Speaker 1: plus a thousand at that point, and for the Super Bowl,
- 31:14Speaker 1: most books had him a plus like one thoive hundred
- 31:17Speaker 1: plus two thousand. So one of those things where we
- 31:20Speaker 1: got insane value just because he had gotten hurt, Lamar
- 31:24Speaker 1: had kind of taken over the picture of the FC.
- 31:26Speaker 1: The Patriots. Patriots are still undefeated, so it's a little
- 31:29Speaker 1: bit of a perfect storm where the best team in
- 31:32Speaker 1: the FC people kind of forgot about them. So we
- 31:35Speaker 1: got really lucky and good value on the on the
- 31:37Speaker 1: Chiefs this year, and that was to win the a
- 31:40Speaker 1: f C right, and then I have I have a
- 31:43Speaker 1: couple of more features on them with the Super Bowl. Um,
- 31:49Speaker 1: the crazy when I had a guy actually in boxed
- 31:51Speaker 1: me on the Emmy on Twitter where he was hitting
- 31:52Speaker 1: me up last week. Wonder about hedging he had. He
- 31:55Speaker 1: sent me they take a year a thousand dollars on
- 31:59Speaker 1: one in San France. So I said to him, I said,
- 32:04Speaker 1: listen to me, I I really don't think San fran
- 32:07Speaker 1: is gonna lose this. You gotta put at least a
- 32:10Speaker 1: thousand on the plus seven and a half and maybe
- 32:12Speaker 1: you can just hit the middle. But I was I
- 32:15Speaker 1: was like, I wouldn't hedge up like half away. I
- 32:17Speaker 1: would let that ride. So he sent me a picture.
- 32:20Speaker 1: He put the thousand on the plus seven and a
- 32:22Speaker 1: half and at halftime he textically goes, thank god, man,
- 32:25Speaker 1: I didn't hedge out fully. I go, yeah, that's that's
- 32:27Speaker 1: too big to hedge that out. I will say that.
- 32:30Speaker 1: As you know, and I talked about this earlier in
- 32:31Speaker 1: the podcast, I was in this pretty um decent sized
- 32:37Speaker 1: preseason pool. We chose eight teams UH in the preseason.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Whoever has the team that wins the Super Bowl wins
- 32:43Speaker 1: the pot, and going into that championship weekend, I had
- 32:48Speaker 1: UH the Chiefs and the Titans, so I knew I
- 32:51Speaker 1: had at least one team in the super Bowl, and
- 32:54Speaker 1: I had the Niners, so I had a pretty good
- 32:56Speaker 1: shot of getting both teams in the Super Bowl and
- 32:58Speaker 1: winning the bat outright before the bet even began, um,
- 33:02Speaker 1: which is what happened. But I did feel like I
- 33:05Speaker 1: needed to hedge, so I actually took the train to
- 33:07Speaker 1: Jersey and Fan Duel. If you are a UM, if
- 33:12Speaker 1: you are an Action Network user and you were a
- 33:14Speaker 1: first time better on Fandel, you go from the Action Network,
- 33:17Speaker 1: click on one of our links, and then go bet
- 33:19Speaker 1: on Fan Duel legally in New Jersey. Then you get
- 33:23Speaker 1: a five hundred dollar risk free bet, basically a free roll.
- 33:26Speaker 1: So I took that five dollar bet and I bet
- 33:29Speaker 1: on the packers at seven to one. So my hedge
- 33:33Speaker 1: was that five hundred dollars. If they ended up going
- 33:35Speaker 1: off to win, then I won thirty five dollars and
- 33:38Speaker 1: if they didn't, then that money got refunded into my account.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Lo behold, I will be flying to Miami tomorrow and
- 33:47Speaker 1: out of Newark, and I will be there in the morning,
- 33:50Speaker 1: and I can guarantee you that I am going to
- 33:52Speaker 1: make one five dollar bet with that free roll. And
- 33:58Speaker 1: it's funny that you did that, because I think Scott
- 34:00Speaker 1: was gonna told you, dude, I told you just let
- 34:01Speaker 1: it ride, because I was just saying the value you
- 34:04Speaker 1: already have all the value. There is no reason to
- 34:06Speaker 1: hedge there. The odds, the odds of I mean, yeah,
- 34:10Speaker 1: it was one out of fourth chance, right, That's how
- 34:12Speaker 1: people are looking at that Greenbay. It was gonna advance there.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Like I said to you, you're you're, you have all
- 34:17Speaker 1: all all the favoritism, and like the odds of them
- 34:21Speaker 1: winning were so small that I told you just let
- 34:23Speaker 1: it ride. But I can see what you had to
- 34:24Speaker 1: do it. Well. I did it because Scott Miller, as
- 34:26Speaker 1: you mentioned, Scott Miller, Action Network executive at OR told
- 34:28Speaker 1: me to do it, and I usually do what he says.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I should have listened to you, because now I got
- 34:32Speaker 1: to figure out what to bet for five on this
- 34:35Speaker 1: you know, silly game where I can't find a side
- 34:37Speaker 1: that I like, and I guess I like the total,
- 34:40Speaker 1: but I wanted to go up. So I'm gonna have
- 34:41Speaker 1: to find a prop. I'm gonna have to go into
- 34:42Speaker 1: the Action Network app. I'm gonna have to choose the
- 34:45Speaker 1: best prop from Matthew Freedman or Chris Raybon and Shawn
- 34:48Speaker 1: Corner and let it roll, baby right now. Sean Corner
- 34:51Speaker 1: loves Damien Williams. He loved it over at eleven and
- 34:54Speaker 1: a half rushing attempts. It's now up to twelve and
- 34:57Speaker 1: a half. He's probably gonna go up even higher by
- 34:59Speaker 1: the time they it's a new work. Um, but what
- 35:02Speaker 1: say you professional better, Simon Hunter? Yeah, I mean the
- 35:07Speaker 1: prop the propp market's kind of funny where um, he's
- 35:10Speaker 1: obviously I don't know if he's running models, but you're
- 35:12Speaker 1: running You're running midles that are saying this is how
- 35:15Speaker 1: the game script is gonna go, and you're getting you're
- 35:17Speaker 1: seeing where the value is on the numbers that you
- 35:19Speaker 1: see in the props. So a lot of people like
- 35:23Speaker 1: last year was kind of a fluke year where there
- 35:26Speaker 1: was just nothing, no points, nothing at all, and every
- 35:29Speaker 1: prop pretty much lost because most people, if they're gonna
- 35:31Speaker 1: bet Joe public, they like kicking me over on these
- 35:34Speaker 1: props just because it's more fun. So this this year,
- 35:38Speaker 1: with these props, if if you're before you do, then
- 35:40Speaker 1: you really have to think about how you think this
- 35:42Speaker 1: game is going. You obviously aside in mind and think
- 35:45Speaker 1: about that game script where if if if you in
- 35:49Speaker 1: your bank account you have a hundred dollars, you should
- 35:51Speaker 1: just be doing a dollar on these props. And you
- 35:53Speaker 1: should just do a bunch of them. It's more fun
- 35:54Speaker 1: that way rather than just loading up on just one
- 35:57Speaker 1: or two. Um. But for for me in the game,
- 36:01Speaker 1: it's it's kind of brutal because I I really I
- 36:06Speaker 1: kind of went against my system last week. Like you
- 36:08Speaker 1: talked about, you were like, how do you not love
- 36:09Speaker 1: san France? This is such an analytical you just love
- 36:12Speaker 1: them every all the numbers. They are just incredible. Their
- 36:16Speaker 1: D line is just incredible. And I'm looking at at
- 36:20Speaker 1: my system again where it's saying that san France should
- 36:22Speaker 1: be favorite, and the human element comes into our It's like,
- 36:26Speaker 1: am I really gonna go against Patrick Mahomes on this
- 36:28Speaker 1: incredible run where he had back to back games where
- 36:32Speaker 1: he I think he threw one of the four touchdowns,
- 36:34Speaker 1: which hadn't been done in a in a long time.
- 36:37Speaker 1: So my system saying san France they should be minus too,
- 36:42Speaker 1: So I'm gonna head you out anyway. I didn't take
- 36:44Speaker 1: san France. But I think a really really good value
- 36:48Speaker 1: here is if people can just keep waiting and just
- 36:50Speaker 1: take this under because I think more often enough becaure
- 36:54Speaker 1: public it's more fun to beat these overs, and they've
- 36:57Speaker 1: been coming in really big on the over and it's
- 36:59Speaker 1: moved two or three points um from where you're opened.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I think some books have it at four uh, fifty
- 37:05Speaker 1: four and some have a fifty five where if you
- 37:08Speaker 1: just keep sitting back and this thing hits I mean
- 37:11Speaker 1: hopefully fifty seven, fifty eight. Those are kind of key
- 37:14Speaker 1: numbers and you can get the under. It's a good
- 37:17Speaker 1: play in the under first halfsket play where it's rare
- 37:20Speaker 1: where these teams don't come out with jitters and just
- 37:23Speaker 1: don't like last year the team came out kind of
- 37:26Speaker 1: flat and they were terrible in the first half, the
- 37:29Speaker 1: more shocking parts in the second half they were even worse.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Where that was kind of a fluke last year, but
- 37:35Speaker 1: it's more normal where the Eagles and the Patriots that
- 37:37Speaker 1: was like I don't even know, it was like eighty
- 37:39Speaker 1: points combined, where that that's or like seventy points that's
- 37:42Speaker 1: that's more of a flute two where usually this this
- 37:44Speaker 1: fifty five number, that's a good number. Where it's it's
- 37:48Speaker 1: I would say more than if they like back in
- 37:49Speaker 1: the day, it's one time if goes under that. So
- 37:53Speaker 1: I think people that they really do have to look
- 37:55Speaker 1: at that number I agree with you. I like the
- 37:57Speaker 1: under in this game. I'm just waiting and aiding and waiting.
- 38:01Speaker 1: But I think that also it correlates to the props, right,
- 38:04Speaker 1: like if you said in the beginning, if you're betting
- 38:08Speaker 1: on the props because you have an opinion of how
- 38:09Speaker 1: you think the script is gonna go, and if you
- 38:12Speaker 1: bet on the under, then you're probably gonna like you know,
- 38:16Speaker 1: Emmanuel Sanders under forty five yards, Greg Kittle under seventy
- 38:20Speaker 1: one yards, Raheem Mostert under anywhere from sixty to eighty yards.
- 38:25Speaker 1: We're seeing it spread across the board at the Action
- 38:28Speaker 1: Network UM, maybe even Damian Williams under fifty four and
- 38:31Speaker 1: a half rushing yards, like you see, even even Patrick Mahomes,
- 38:34Speaker 1: like Scooch was saying in the podcast earlier that Patrick
- 38:37Speaker 1: Mahomes the wise Guys liked his over twenty or nine
- 38:42Speaker 1: and a half rushing years total. I actually hate that.
- 38:44Speaker 1: I think it'll be much under UM. But I do
- 38:47Speaker 1: think this game plays to under you. You're always going
- 38:50Speaker 1: to get value in the under on individual props too,
- 38:53Speaker 1: because that's how sort of bookmakers think about those things, right,
- 38:58Speaker 1: And the reason like the starts on that, like I
- 39:00Speaker 1: took that number two. It's just because he he's really
- 39:04Speaker 1: been showing here that he's just desperate to win. I mean,
- 39:07Speaker 1: he's only putting his body on the line and he's
- 39:08Speaker 1: taking with the defensive human. So the game script, if
- 39:12Speaker 1: you if you're just coming by like the numbers, is
- 39:14Speaker 1: that the same frame is when the heavy the heaviest
- 39:17Speaker 1: teams to rush for and drop back and coverage. And
- 39:21Speaker 1: I think they played Lamar and they used the spy
- 39:23Speaker 1: with him, but it was one of those things where
- 39:26Speaker 1: the spy was still dropping back because Lamar underneath the
- 39:29Speaker 1: tight ends, So the spy woul drop back, you cover
- 39:32Speaker 1: the tight end. Then as soon as Lamar and make
- 39:33Speaker 1: a step up, he would step up to engage Lamar.
- 39:36Speaker 1: So I don't know if talking about it kind of
- 39:37Speaker 1: do that same trick here with um my homes. But
- 39:41Speaker 1: I'm just taking it just because it's one. It's one
- 39:43Speaker 1: back to back weeks from where I'm pretty much just
- 39:46Speaker 1: letting a ride over. While Yeah, that game script, I'm
- 39:50Speaker 1: um I like the Chiefs, but I'm gonna be back
- 39:53Speaker 1: in most of these props. I'm gonna be taken um
- 39:55Speaker 1: the forty nine side, So it's kind of like I
- 39:58Speaker 1: don't want to. I don't want to come out here
- 39:59Speaker 1: until the let's take your room on that because I myself,
- 40:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna take in a lot of the same frame props.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I think we know where we all stand right now.
- 40:11Speaker 1: I mean, are you are you? Do you picked a
- 40:13Speaker 1: side yet? Do you know what's do you like? I
- 40:15Speaker 1: have no opinion on the side. I probably cowered away.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Come on chat all right, I'm taking the chase, right,
- 40:23Speaker 1: That's what And I think that's most people. People are
- 40:25Speaker 1: just gonna feel the same way. That's how I feel too.
- 40:27Speaker 1: But I'm doing it not because of any statistical anomalies
- 40:30Speaker 1: or even edge. I'm just doing because I think I
- 40:32Speaker 1: want Andy read down. Yeah, and I'll say it on
- 40:35Speaker 1: here that the number sends to your frame. But I'm
- 40:38Speaker 1: back in the Chiefs, so I'm gonna head job my money,
- 40:40Speaker 1: So I'm gonna be in the green, but I'm gonna
- 40:41Speaker 1: put more on the Chiefs. Simon Hunter, you have been
